Trump Extends Social-Distancing Guidelines to April 30, Shows Why Americans Trust Him More Than the MSM

FoxNews.com reports that

Speaking at a contentious White House coronavirus news briefing on Sunday that involved testy standoffs with multiple reporters, President Trump declared that “the peak in death rate” in the coronavirus pandemic “is likely to hit in two weeks,” and said the federal government will be extending its social-distancing guidelines through April 30.

“The modeling estimates that the peak in death rate is likely to hit in two weeks. I will say it again. The peak, the highest point of death rates, remember this, is likely to hit in two weeks… Therefore, we will be extending our guidelines to April 30, to slow the spread,” the president said in the White House Rose Garden.

Saying his earlier hope that the country could reopen by Easter was “just an aspiration,” Trump added: “We can expect that by June 1, we will be well on our way to recovery” and that “a lot of great things will be happening.”

When asked about worst-case scenarios if the country were to remain closed indefinitely, the president responded, “You’re gonna have large numbers of suicides — tremendous [numbers of] suicides… You will see drugs being used like nobody has ever used them before, and people are going to be dying all over the place.”

On a positive note, Trump went on to note that “two of the country’s largest health insurers — Humana and Cigna — have announced that they will waive copays, coinsurance, and deductibles for coronavirus treatments.”

In response to a question at the briefing, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, reiterated his estimate from earlier in the day that it remained possible that 100,000 to 200,000 people could die in the United States. “What we’re trying to do is not let that happen,” he said, calling the extension of social-distancing guidelines “a wise and prudent decision.” Over 2,300 people with the virus already have died in the U.S.

“Models are good, but models often generate the kind of anxious question you asked,” Fauci said, when a reporter asked how bad the situation could become. “A model is as good as the assumptions you put into the model, and very often, many of these assumptions are based on a complexity of issues that aren’t necessarily the same… from one country to another.”

Fauci said the April 30 extension came after he, Dr. Deborah Birx and other members of the task force had made the recommendation.

Trump said he’d seen early estimates that 2.2 million people could have died if the government had done nothing in a worst-case scenario, so “if we can hold that down to 100,000” or less, it would be a “good job.” Had the country simply ridden the virus “like a cowboy” and driven “that sucker right through,” the president insisted, disaster would have unfolded.

Separately, Trump openly questioned why the demand for surgical masks has skyrocketed in New York City and elsewhere, urging assembled reporters that they “oughtta look into it” because “something’s going on.”

The head-turning moment came just hours after Trump touted the sky-high ratings for the events on social media, and shortly after New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio urged his constituents not to “look back” on his prior statements downplaying the coronavirus.

“How do you go from 10 to 20 to 30,000, to 300,000 [masks] — even though this is different,” Trump asked. “Something is going on, and you ought to look into it as reporters. Where are the masks going? Are they going out the back door? How do you go from 10,000 to 300,000? And, we have that in a lot of different places. So, somebody should probably look into that. I just don’t see from a practical standpoint how that’s possible to go from that to that, and we have that happening in numerous places.”

Pressed on the matter later at the briefing, Trump called on New Yorkers to “check” Gov. Andrew Cuomo and de Blasio, both Democrats, about the changing mask numbers. “People should check them, because there’s something going on.” He asserted that it could be “something worse than hoarding.”

Cuomo said earlier this month that some people were stealing medical supplies. “Not just people taking a couple or three, I mean just actual thefts of those products,” Cuomo said. “I’ve asked the state police to do an investigation, look at places that are selling masks, medical equipment, protective wear, feeding the anxiety.”

Furious nurses staged protests outside of Jacobi Hospital’s emergency room in the Bronx over the weekend, claiming there was a dangerous shortage of masks and gloves there. Sean Petty, a pediatric nurse at the hospital, told the New York Post: ‘We need billions of N95 masks. This policy that was put out by the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] is killing nurses. We already lost our first nurse in New York City. We’re gonna lose more.”

Trump remarked that “many of the states are stocked up” on various critical supplies including ventilators — although, he added, “some don’t admit it.” Later, Trump suggested that “there’s a question as to hoarding of ventilators” in which some hospitals may be keeping the devices in case of a major problem in the future.

Also at the briefing, Trump unloaded after PBS News’ Yamiche Alcindor — who previously has asked numerous questions about whether an unnamed administration official really used the term “Kung Flu” — began with another critical query about Trump’s comments to Fox News on New York’s ventilators.

“That’s why you used to work for the Times and now you work for somebody else,” Trump jabbed. “Why don’t you people act a little more positively — it’s always get-you, get-you. Be nice. Don’t be threatening. Be nice.”

Minutes later, Trump tusseled with a CNN reporter who alleged the president had definitely said he wouldn’t call governors who weren’t appreciative of his coronavirus efforts. Trump shot back that Washington state’s governor, Democrat Jay Inslee, was a “nasty” person, and reiterated that Vice President Mike Pence would remain in open communications even with hostile governors.

“Your statement is a lie,” Trump said flatly. Trump also slammed the reporter for omitting a portion of Trump’s quote in which Trump said governors and local officials needed to appreciate the broader federal disaster relief effort.

“We lift up their ratings, because their ratings are very low,” Trump said, explaining why CNN had sent a reporter to the briefing even though some network figures have expressed open disdain for the president.

For the most part, however, the president largely sounded positive notes as to practical developments over the past 24 hours of the crisis.

In addition to the waived copays and deductibles, Trump touted “some interesting” therapeutics that “will be announced over the next few weeks.” He said he has been working on getting a system that could sterilize health-care workers’ masks up to 20 times more quickly approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

Trump went on to praise the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Federal Emergency Management Agency [FEMA] for turning New York City’s Javits Center into a makeshift emergency hospital.

“It’s an incredible, complex, top-of-the-line hospital. Everyone’s trying to figure out how they did it,” Trump said, noting that he was also unsure. “And, I was a good builder.”

The president maintained distance from other speakers at the briefing, and referenced social-distancing guidelines as soon as he took to the podium.

“Appreciate everybody being here — beautiful day in the Rose Garden,” Trump remarked as the press conference began. “Tremendous distance between chairs.”

“We’re all in this together — all us of us,” Trump said at the conclusion of the briefing. “I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Unfortunately, the enemy is death, so it’s very unpleasant. But, the level of competence, the level of caring, the level of love — I just think it’s brilliant. … I’m very proud to be your president.”

And, the overwhelming majority of Americans (you know, those of us who NEVER get polled, are proud to have you as our president, sir.

I realize that the preceding article was long. However, all you are going to see on the Main Stream Media today, will be snippets of the President at the Taskforce Press Conference, selectively edited to show President Trump in the worst light possible.

It is amazing to me how, in the midst of a pandemic when American lives are at stake, The Democratic Party’s Vanguard (i.e., minions) and certain Democratic Governors continue to play politics with American’ lives, in their all-consuming quest to somehow politically damage Trump.

During World War II, the entire nation came together as one to defeat the Axis of Evil.

Now, in 2020, average Americans, as shown in the polls, are solidly behind the President while the Democratic Party, the MSM, and those who believe their propaganda, like the hoarders, continue to attempt to take advantage of this attack by an invisible enemy for heir own selfish and political purposes.

Pitiful, huh?

I realize that President Trump has made mistakes and in no way am I trying to deify him.

However, the manner in which the President is communicating to the American public in a down-to-earth, unfiltered way is why the Democrats are all foaming at the mouth to somehow get President Trump out of office.

The President is not afraid to speak directly and forcefully. He is not a politician. He does not employ “weasel words” when he is speaking.

He speaks to us, not down to us.

And, try as they might, the Democrats just cannot overcome President Trump’s personal Communication Skills and his ability to communicate to and to resonate with the average Americans between the coasts who put him into office.

Even if their Vanguard and Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, publishes “hit pieces” by cherry-picking and downright lying about things which he has said.

Average Americans are through being fooled by the Democrats.

Thy have proven to very unserious people in a very serious time.

Imagine if Joe Biden was President right now.

Get the picture?

NY Times Op Ed Blames the “Religious Right” for Coronavirus…America is Fighting 3 Enemies: 2 are Invisible, 1 is Political

untitled (310)

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! – Isaiah 5:20

In an op ed for The New York Times By Katherine Stewart titled “The Religious Right’s Hostility to Science Is Crippling Our Coronavirus Response”, she wrote that

Donald Trump rose to power with the determined assistance of a movement that denies science, bashes government and prioritized loyalty over professional expertise. In the current crisis, we are all reaping what that movement has sown.

At least since the 19th century, when the proslavery theologian Robert Lewis Dabney attacked the physical sciences as “theories of unbelief,” hostility to science has characterized the more extreme forms of religious nationalism in the United States. Today, the hard core of climate deniers is concentrated among people who identify as religiously conservative Republicans. And some leaders of the Christian nationalist movement, like those allied with the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, which has denounced environmental science as a “Cult of the Green Dragon,” cast environmentalism as an alternative — and false — theology.

This denial of science and critical thinking among religious ultraconservatives now haunts the American response to the coronavirus crisis. On March 15, Guillermo Maldonado, who calls himself an “apostle” and hosted Mr. Trump earlier this year at a campaign event at his Miami megachurch, urged his congregants to show up for worship services in person. “Do you believe God would bring his people to his house to be contagious with the virus? Of course not,” he said.

Rodney Howard-Browne of The River at Tampa Bay Church in Florida mocked people concerned about the disease as “pansies” and insisted he would only shutter the doors to his packed church “when the rapture is taking place.” In a sermon that was live-streamed on Facebook, Tony Spell, a pastor in Louisiana, said, “We’re also going to pass out anointed handkerchiefs to people who may have a fear, who may have a sickness and we believe that when those anointed handkerchiefs go, that healing virtue is going to go on them as well.”

By all accounts, President Trump’s tendency to trust his gut over the experts on issues like vaccines and climate change does not come from any deep-seated religious conviction. But he is perfectly in tune with the religious nationalists who form the core of his base. In his daily briefings from the White House, Mr. Trump actively disdains and contradicts the messages coming from his own experts and touts as yet unproven cures.

Not every pastor is behaving recklessly, of course, and not every churchgoer in these uncertain times is showing up for services out of disregard for the scientific evidence. Far from it. Yet none of the benign uses of religion in this time of crisis have anything to do with Mr. Trump’s expressed hope that the country would be “opened up and just raring to go by Easter.” He could, of course, have said, “by mid-April.” But Mr. Trump did not invoke Easter by accident, and many of his evangelical allies were pleased by his vision of “packed churches all over our country.”

“I think it would be a beautiful time,” the president said.

Religious nationalism has brought to American politics the conviction that our political differences are a battle between absolute evil and absolute good. When you’re engaged in a struggle between the “party of life” and the “party of death,” as some religious nationalists now frame our political divisions, you don’t need to worry about crafting careful policy based on expert opinion and analysis. Only a heroic leader, free from the scruples of political correctness, can save the righteous from the damned. Fealty to the cause is everything; fidelity to the facts means nothing. Perhaps this is why many Christian nationalist leaders greeted the news of the coronavirus as an insult to their chosen leader.

…One of the first casualties of fact-free hyper-partisanship is competence in government. The incompetence of the Trump administration in grappling with this crisis is by now well known, at least among those who receive actual news. February 2020 will go down in history as the month in which the United States, in painful contrast with countries like South Korea and Germany, failed to develop the mass testing capability that might have saved many lives. Less well known is the contribution of the Christian nationalist movement in ensuring that our government is in the hands of people who appear to be incapable of running it well.

It is fair to point out that the failings of the Trump administration in the current pandemic are at least as attributable to its economic ideology as they are to its religious inclinations. When the so-called private sector is supposed to have the answer to every problem, it’s hard to deal effectively with the very public problem of a pandemic and its economic consequences. But if you examine the political roots of the life-threatening belief in the privatization of everything, you’ll see that Christian nationalism played a major role in creating and promoting the economic foundations of America’s incompetent response to the pandemic.

For decades, Christian nationalist leaders have lined up with the anti-government, anti-tax agenda not just as a matter of politics but also as a matter of theology. Ken Blackwell of the Family Research Council, one of the Christian right’s major activist groups, has gone so far as to cast food stamps and other forms of government assistance for essential services as contrary to the “biblical model.” Limited government, according to this line of thinking, is “godly government.”

When a strong centralized response is needed from the federal government, it doesn’t help to have an administration that has never believed in a federal government serving the public good. Ordinarily, the consequences of this kind of behavior don’t show up for some time. In the case of a pandemic, the consequences are too obvious to ignore.

***Katherine Stewart (@kathsstewart) is the author of “The Power Worshippers: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Religious Nationalism.”***

Consider, if you will, a country in which its president is being attacked mercilessly by the opposition political party and their minions in the Main Stream Media for keeping his promise to protect his country’s citizens in the middle of a worldwide pandemic.

…a country where a black actor hires 2 extras from his television show to dress up like supporters of a sitting president, put a noose around his neck and rough him up, simply because the president happens to be from the opposite political party as the actor, and the actor is still upset over his candidate having been defeated in the last election.

…a country in which the Governor of New York proclaims to a national Audience that “every human life matters”, while supporting killing babies after they are born.

…a country in which the faith of 75% of its citizens is constantly attacked by the same people who constantly attack its President.

“You are traveling through a previously unknown country, a country whose population has politically been torn asunder, a country whose Democratic Leadership have forsworn its traditional faith and values to embrace those of its enemies. A country whose great promise is once again being realized, despite the best efforts of its enemies within. There’s a signpost up ahead. Next stop, America 2020.”

This country has been pulling apart at the seams since the night of November 8, 2016, which Donald J. Trump was elected as our 45th President.

And the thing is, it is not his fault.

The direction which the Modern Democratic Party has taken to the Far Left of the Political Spectrum has put them at odds with the majority of Americans who still hold dear the Traditional Faith and Values System upon which our Sovereign Nation was founded.

In an article written for Decision Magazine dated February 12, 2012, America’s Pastor, Rev. Billy Graham, wrote on the subject of “Confusing Evil With Good”. Here are some excerpts…

Humanity has always been dexterous at confusing evil with good. That was Adam and Eve’s problem, and it is our problem today. If evil were not made to appear good, there would be no such thing as temptation. It is in their close similarity that the danger lies.

Modern social righteousness often differs from the righteousness of the Bible. Someone has said: “A wrong deed is right if the majority of people declare it not to be wrong.” By this principle we can see our standards shifting from year to year according to the popular vote! Divorce was once frowned upon by society, and laws against fornication and adultery were strictly enforced. But now divorce is accepted by society, and fornication is glorified in our literature and films.

The Bible says: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.” God has not changed. His standards have not been lowered. God still calls immorality a sin, and the Bible says God is going to judge it.

Honesty was once the hallmark of character. But it has been set aside with an “It’s all right if you don’t get caught” philosophy. Only when we are in court are we required to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

…How do we get our values so mixed up? How do we fall into this trap of Satan? For one thing, we’re shortsighted. We look for shortcuts to happiness. Our lust for immediate pleasure prompts us to think of evil as good.

In one of novelist John Steinbeck’s books he has a character saying: “If it succeeds, they will be thought not crooked but clever.” In our desire to achieve success quickly, it is easy to get our values mixed up and call evil good and good evil.

Another way to call evil good is to say that morals are relative. Someone has said: “As the occasion, so the behavior.” We have changed our moral code to fit our behavior instead of changing our behavior to harmonize with our moral code. Nothing is firm today. We are not on solid ground. Young people are shifting from one side to the other. Morally, they are drifting aimlessly without compass or guide.

Still another way that evil is called good is for the conscience to be perverted, and certainly our consciences today are perverted. But right is right even if nobody is right, and wrong is wrong even if everybody is wrong. God does not change the moral law to suit our behavior.

…The modern conscience has been twisted and distorted so badly that it is difficult to tell what is genuine and what is false.

Self-centeredness is another reason we are so inclined to call evil good. When something brings profit or pleasure to us we are inclined to call evil good, even though we know it is dead wrong. “But it’s what I’ve always wanted,” or, “It’s good for me, although I know it’s wrong” are the alibis we have manufactured to justify evil and call it good.

It is very apparent that there is something that is literally tearing apart the fabric of our country.

The only conclusion that I, as a Christian American can reach, is the fact that our Sovereign Nation is in the midst of SPIRITUAL WARFARE for its very soul.

Make no mistake about it, boys and girls, EVIL EXISTS.

My friends, I believe that we are fighting a war not just against the Chinese Coronavirus, but also against “princes and principalities”. Evil is still alive and well and flourishing in a world in which relative morality and situational ethics are increasingly being accepted as normal behavior.

We see it everyday around us.

It inundates the cable news channels and our country’s failing Liberal Newspapers like the New York Times. Heck, you can even see it on Facebook.

Since Cain slew Able with a rock, mankind, because we are all fallen creatures, has had to deal with the presence of evil in our lives.

From the legendary massacres, perpetrated by Vlad the Impaler, to the horrific scenes of Hitler’s Concentration Camps, to the killing fields of Pol Pot, to the massacre of innocent Middle Eastern Christians by Islamic State, to the murders by Chicago Street Gangs every night, the Forces of Evil continue to flourish across the globe.

Who we as a nation are struggling with are those forces who want to turn our country into not just an immoral society, but, an amoral one, whose concept of right and wrong is “Whatever Gets You Through the Night (It’s Alright. It’s Alright.)”, and whose ultimate authority is not the God of Abraham, but a Godless All-Powerful Central Government, whose credo is

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. (Karl Marx)

Just as Marxism has failed wherever it has been tried before, so, if allowed to do so, it would lead to America’s downfall.

The galling thing is the fact that, even though American Christians remain 75% of the population, we are propagandized and suppressed by the Liberals in both the Old and New Media, to make it seem as if WE are the Minority, when, in fact, WE are the overwhelming Majority.

It is this New Generation of Amoral Socialists, who have taken over the Democratic Party, who are in fact, just a tiny, albeit vocal, Minority of America’s population.

So, what can an average Christian American, like you and me, do about this “Tyranny of the Minority”?

Christians have to make a choice in these tough times whether to allow those who are attempting to “radically change” our Sovereign Nation, given to us by God into a Democratic Socialist Paradise or…

As the Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians, we can STAND.

However, you cannot stand without “the full armor of God”. I have found, as have my family and friends, that the better that you are doing, in terms of your Christian Walk, the harder that you will be attacked.

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.…- Ephesians 6:10-12

Now, more than ever, in the midst of this pandemic, our Christianity as Americans does not and can not end at Noon on Sunday as we finish watching church services on the internet via our Smart TVs.

“Onward, Christian Soldiers, marching as to war.”

Because believe me, Americans…we are in one with three enemies. Two enemies are invisible and one is political.

Pray for those who are out “on the front line” fighting the Chinese Coronavirus every day and caring for those who are sick with it,

Pray for our President.

Pray for our country.

God Bless America.

Trump Tells ABC’s Jonathan Karl not to be a “cutie pie” After Karl Badgers Him About Ventilators…Why Didn’t He Ask Cuomo Were They Were?

karl-trump

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump had some choice words for ABC News White House correspondent Jonathan Karl over the availability of ventilators during Friday’s coronavirus press briefing.

Karl asked the president if “everybody who needs a ventilator will get a ventilator” after Trump officially ordered General Motors to make them under the Defense Production Act.

“So here’s what I’ll tell you, I think we’re in really good shape,” Trump responded. “This is a pandemic the likes of which nobody has seen before. I think we’re in great shape.”

He continued, “We’ve distributed vast numbers of ventilators and we’re prepared to do vast numbers. I think we’re in great shape. I hope that’s the case. I hope that we’re going to have leftovers so that we can help other people, other countries.”

“Everyone who needs one will get a ventilator,” Karl pressed Trump.

“Look, don’t be a cutie pie, okay? You know, ‘everyone who needs one,'” the president shot back. “Nobody has ever done what we’ve done. Nobody has done what we’ve been able to do. And everything I took over was a mess. It was a broken country in so many ways and in so many ways other than this. We had a bad testing system. We had a bad stockpile system. We had nothing in the stockpile system.”

He added, “So I wouldn’t tell me what, you know, being a wise guy.”

Gosh. Why didn’t Jonathan Karl ask about these ventilators?

Per Breitbart.com,

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo acknowledged Friday the state did have a stockpile of unused ventilators, despite his complaints the federal government was not sending enough.

Cuomo responded to a comment from President Donald Trump on Twitter that there were thousands of ventilators in New York not being used.

“Yes, they’re in a stockpile because that’s where they are supposed to be, because we don’t need them yet,” Cuomo said. “We need them for the apex, the apex isn’t here, so we’re gathering them in a stockpile.”

Cuomo’s comments demonstrate there is not an immediate shortage in ventilators in the city, despite alarming reports.

“We don’t need them today, because we’re not at capacity today, that’s why they’re not deployed because they’re not needed,” Cuomo said.

The governor has repeatedly complained that the federal government is not sending enough ventilators to New York.

On Tuesday, Pence said that the federal government had sent 2,000 ventilators to New York and an additional 2,000 more on Wednesday.

But on Friday, Cuomo explained expert projections showed he would need up to 140,000 beds and 40,000 ventilators.

“I don’t operate here on opinion, I operate on facts and on data and on numbers and on projections,” he said.

In an interview on Fox News on Thursday night, Trump appeared skeptical that New York would need 40,000 ventilators.

“I have a feeling that a lot of the numbers that are being said in some areas are just bigger than they’re going to be,” he said.

And, then ABC News’ Jonathan Karl continued the attack on President Trump concerning ventilators by being a smart a**…err…”cutie pie”.

A very stupid question to ask considering that New York was hoarding ventilators and their arrogant whining governor was aware of it.

The arrogance and TDS of Main Stream Media Reporters like Karl leaves a stench in my living room when I watch them attack the president on TV. President Trump is doing everything humanly possible to provide medical equipment and medicine to Americans suffering from the Chinese Coronavirus.

However, the Trump Derangement Syndrome being carried by the Far Left Democrats and the Main Stream Media does not allow them to acknowledge that fact.

We no longer have an objective “Fourth Estate”.

None of these fake news stories, Democrat-heavy polls, photo-shopped pictures, and stupid Occupy Democrat Memes blaming Trump for the Coronavirus on Facebook are making any difference to average Americans.

The Democrats and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, as a result of their own regional bias toward the major metropolitan areas on the East and Left Coasts, which has been obvious to average Americans for the last several decades, continue through their sheer arrogance and hatred for President Trump and the traditional American Way of Life, to distance themselves from the people whom they continue to claim that they “love”…Average Working Class Americans.

Yet still, they expect us to believe the Fake News which they are desperately trying to distribute in a vain attempt get Trump out of office, and which Liberal Trolls are posting on Social Media ad nauseam, so that they and the rest of the “useful idiots”, in their shared madness, can regain the White House, even though all of their Primary Candidates do not stand a chance against President Donald J. Trump..

Americans do not care what Main Stream Media “journalists” think.

That is why President Trump’s popularity ratings continue to rise in the polls.

The Main Stream Media in this country are no more objective and professional than the Far Left Trolls and Bots who attack him every day and night on his Twitter Account.

Trump was right in stopping his daily press briefings when Sarah Huckabee Sanders was his Press Secretary.

See how the members of the Main Stream Media are acting out in these press briefings?

If all they want to do is grandstand and attempt to embarrass and somehow entrap Trump, I say do a video Press Conference and make them e-mail their questions in.

Although, it is pretty funny when the President shuts THEM down.

Although, I doubt Jonathan Karl appreciates the humor in the situation like we “Deplorables” did.

Senate Passes Phase 3 of Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill 96-0…The Ball is in Pelosi’s Court Now

pelosi-1-1

Last night, the Senate finally passed Phase 3 of the Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill with a unanimous vote of 96-0.

FoxNews.com reports that

The final bill text will use 2019 tax returns, if available, or 2018 tax returns to assess income for determining how much aid individuals receive. Those who did not file tax returns can use a Form SSA-1099, Social Security Benefit Statement or Form RRB-1099, a Social Security Equivalent Benefit Statement.

The bill would provide one-time direct payments to Americans of $1,200 per adult making up to $75,000 a year, and $2,400 to a married couple making up to $150,000, with $500 payments per child.

Gone are mentions of mandatory early voting, ballot harvesting, requirements that federal agencies review their usage of “minority banks,” and provisions curbing airlines’ carbon emissions — a Pelosi demand that even Saikat Chakrabarti, the former chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and an author of the Green New Deal, called “ridiculous.”

“What’s not in the Senate’s bipartisan coronavirus bill: Pelosi’s outrageous wish list,” wrote GOP national spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington. “0 mentions of ‘diversity.’ 0 mentions of ’emissions.’ 0 mentions of ‘early voting.’ 0 mentions of ‘climate change.’ Good!”

At the same time, the bill satisfied some Democrat policy goals. Page 524 of the bill text indicates that many businesses that take a government loan would be obligated to remain neutral in any “union organizing effort” during the loan — a major giveaway to unions. Affected businesses would have between 500 and 10,000 employees.

Also in the final bill text, $25 million would still be allocated for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. President Trump, speaking at the White House coronavirus briefing earlier Wednesday, said that he understood the provision was necessary because Democrats demanded some concessions in order to get the stimulus bill passed.

Pelosi was the first to demand the money in her own bill, which Republicans said was full of unseemly payouts for well-connected special interests at a time of national crisis.

The Kennedy Center put out a statement Wednesday evening saying it was “extraordinarily grateful that Congress has recognized our institution’s unique status and has included funding in its legislation to ensure that we can reopen our doors and stages as soon as we are able.”

“For an opera house, you sure are tone-deaf,” responded blogger Jim Treacher, after telling the Kennedy Center where to shove its statement.

Aside from direct payments to most Americans, the bill would expand unemployment benefits and provide a $367 billion program for small businesses to keep making payroll while workers are forced to stay home.

The movement came as stocks posted their first back-to-back gains in weeks, but much of Wednesday’s early rally faded as the hitch developed in the Senate. The market is down nearly 27 percent since setting a record high a month ago.

Amid the debate, presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders said he might try to torpedo the Senate’s stimulus package. Republican senators dropped their objections about what they called a “massive drafting error” related to unemployment benefits.

“In my view, it would be an outrage to prevent working-class Americans to receive the emergency unemployment assistance included in this legislation,” Sanders said in a statement, also posted on social media.

“Unless these Republican Senators drop their objections, I am prepared to put a hold on this bill until stronger conditions are imposed on the $500 billion corporate welfare fund to make sure that any corporation receiving financial assistance under this legislation does not lay off workers, cut wages or benefits, ship jobs overseas, or pay workers poverty wages,” he continued.

Sanders took to the Senate floor late Wednesday at approximately 9:30 p.m. ET to say he was concerned that the administration would be able to “expend $500 billion in virtually any way they want” under the legislation. In fact, the administration would not have such unilateral control.

…The package is intended as relief for an economy spiraling into recession or worse and a nation facing a grim toll from an infection that’s killed nearly 20,000 people worldwide. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, asked how long the aid would keep the economy afloat, said: “We’ve anticipated three months. Hopefully, we won’t need this for three months.”

Underscoring the effort’s sheer magnitude, the bill finances a response with a price tag that equals half the size of the entire $4 trillion annual federal budget.

“A fight has arrived on our shores,” said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “We did not seek it, we did not want it, but now we’re going to win it.”

One of the last issues to close in the bill concerned $500 billion for guaranteed, subsidized loans to larger industries, including a fight over how generous to be with the airlines, given that Democrats wanted to restrict their carbon emissions. Hospitals would get significant help as well.

“There is a whole concern in our country that if we’re giving tens of billions of dollars to the airlines, that we could at least have a shared value about what happens to the environment,” Pelosi said Tuesday.

But, support for Democrats’ climate-change push in the stimulus bill withered Tuesday. The former chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Saikat Chakrabarti, wrote on Twitter in response to Pelosi’s comments: “I helped write the #GreenNewDeal and I think this is ridiculous. The tiny little emissions standard increase doesn’t even do anything meaningful to stave off climate change and gives the @GOP leverage to get rid of real help for working people. Solve the problem at hand. Hospitals would get significant help as well.”

Why is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi so skittish about signing this bill which will actually help average Americans, including her constituency?

Well, it is reported that behind the scenes, Pelosi is catching a lot of flak from the Social Justice Warriors in the House, including AOC and the rest of the Squad.

That would explain why the bill which she wrote had so much money going to special interest groups and projects which have nothing to do with the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic.

According to Brian Darling, writing for Townhall.com in a post published on Tuesday…

One member of ‘The Squad’ wants to use the Pelosi produced ‘stimulus’ bill to eliminate banks. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), one of the leaders of the Democratic Socialists in the House, wants Pelosi to insert legislation into the stimulus to damage America’s banking system. Tlaib’s bill, the Automatic BOOST to the Communities Act, would provide a pre-loaded $2,000 government issued debit card to every person in America with a new $1,000 deposit every month until a year after the passing of the coronavirus crisis.

Needless to say, that “brilliant” plan did not make it into the final bill. Thank God.

The Democrats are being destroyed by a monster of their own making.

The Democrats arrogance has become their undoing.

Their erroneous belief that they are the smartest people in any room they walk into has caused them to believe that the majority of Americans believe as they do, embracing he politics of Marxism and the “diversity” of special interest groups.

They learned nothing from the night of November 8, 2016.

And now, their own Trump Derangement Syndrome coupled with the “Democratic Socialist”/SJW Movement, is dividing and slowly consuming the Democratic Party from within, as the Democratic Elite like Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and Chuck Schumer are dong whatever they have to in order to hold on to their power within their own party, by appeasing Social Justice Warriors like the Squad.

Unfortunately for the Democratic Elite, their party has moved so Far to the left of the Political Spectrum that average Americans have no respect left for them whatsoever.

And, nominating an almost 80-year old man struggling with the onset of Dementia as their 2020 Presidential Candidate will not help the Democrats regain the trust of the American voters at all.

And, if they dump Biden for Cuomo, American voters are going to have a problem with his Liberal arrogance and the fact that he supports late term abortion.

If the alcoholic Speaker of the House can temporarily stop her two remaining brain cells from fighting to the death and achieve a moment of clarity, she will realize that she must make sure that the Phase 3 Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill passes when it is voted on this Friday morning…

…or the Democratic Party will go the way of the Whigs.

Which, at this point, would probably be a good thing.

“Based” Lindsey: Dems are “Nickel and Diming at a Time When People are Dying – Literally Dying…End The Negotiations” UPDATE: Deal Reached!

694940094001_6114810631001_6114808874001-vs

UPDATE:

White House and Senate leaders reached a historic deal shortly after midnight Wednesday on a massive $2 trillion coronavirus relief package for workers and businesses, although support in the House of Representatives remained uncertain.

FoxNew.com reports that

Just hours after President Trump’s top economic adviser said Congress was close to agreeing on an unprecedented $6 trillion stimulus plan, tensions abruptly ratcheted back up again on Capitol Hill Tuesday night — with Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham taking to the Senate floor and calling for an immediate end to negotiations because he said Democrats were “nickel-and-diming at a time when people are dying — literally dying.”

Graham’s late-night remarks came after tensions seemingly had cooled in Congress during the day, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average to its highest point gain in its history as leaders from both parties signaled that an agreement could be within reach. Futures were down Tuesday night.

“In case you’re watching,” Graham said in reference to the president, his voice rising, “tell [Treasury Secretary] Steven Mnuchin to come back to the White House and end negotiations. I think I understand the give-and-take of life and politics, but I’ve been called by two good friends on the Democratic side in the last five or six hours wanting more money. End the negotiations.”

He added: “This bill is $2 trillion. There’s a ton of money in this bill for people who need it, but what we’re doing now is, every special-interest group in town is trying to get a little bit more.”

Monday had been marked with furious debate on the Senate floor, as Republicans accused House Democrats of proposing an alternative stimulus bill that was full of unnecessary progressive wishlist items.

The bill offered by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., included measures to restrict airlines’ carbon emissions, protect illegal immigrants, provide for same-day voter registration, pay off billions in student loan debt, encourage federal agencies to employ “minority banks,” bail out the U.S. Postal Service and even fund the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Republicans, including the president, have called the measures “nonsense” nonstarters. After Democrats signaled they might be willing to negotiate away some of their proposals, though, the Dow surged Tuesday to its highest point gain in history, and lawmakers appeared more optimistic.

“This is ridiculous,” Graham continued Tuesday night. “Steven Mnuchin has done a good job. I appreciate his efforts to negotiate a bill that will help America. Senator [Mitch] McConnell says we’re on the two-yard line. I believe the problem is that there are 20 people playing defense, and we need to take some people off the field. What bothers me is that at that late hour, I’m still getting calls from people wanting more money.”

“I have lost my patience with the political process,” Graham added. “We’re being nickel-and-dimed now. The big stuff we’ve got pretty well right, and if it’s not perfect, we can fix it later. But, we need to vote tonight, and the reason I’m on the floor is because I’ve been called by two Democratic colleagues in the last five or six hours wanting more money. The store is closed. Mr. President, end negotiations. Require us to vote. Draft the bill, do it tonight.”

Graham’s frustration was matched by many of his colleagues. Louisiana GOP Sen. John Kennedy told Fox News’ Sean Hannity late Tuesday that while the coronavirus “can kill you,” so can “hunger.” He accused Pelosi of demolishing a Senate compromise bill with her own legislation.

However, it’s highly unlikely the bill could see a vote Tuesday night, given that lawmakers have not even finalized the text. A Thursday or Friday vote in the House of Representatives appeared possible. But, because many House lawmakers have not been in Washington, that process likely would involve a voice vote with a skeleton crew, essentially requiring unanimous consent — meaning just one House member could kill the vote.

Shortly before Graham spoke, Trump declared at a coronovirus task force briefing that the country was nearing “the end of our historic battle” with “the invisible enemy” of coronavirus. Trump’s approval numbers hit their highest point ever this week, with 60 percent of Americans approving of his coronavirus response efforts.

The president also sounded an unexpectedly magnanimous note: “I also want to thank Congress, because whether or not we’re happy that they haven’t quite gotten there yet, they have been working long hours. I’m talking Republicans and Democrats, all of them, the House, the Senate. I want to thank Congress because they are really trying to get there, and I think they will.”

Then, Director of the U.S. National Economic Council Larry Kudlow specifically said the new coronavirus bill working its way through congressional gridlock would total $6 trillion: $4 trillion in liquidity from the Federal Reserve and $2 trillion in new money. Typical annual appropriations from Congress in a given fiscal year are around $1.2-4 trillion, with total expenditures roughly $4.3 trillion.

“This package will be the single largest Main Street assistance program in the history of the United States,” Kudlow said, adding that negotiations would continue into the evening but that a vote was imminent.

…Pressed by Fox News’ John Roberts on the timeline, Trump said at the briefing: “We’ll be looking at a lot of things — we’ll also be looking at very large portions of our country, but I’ll be guided very much by Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, and by Deborah [Birx].”

Fauci, the longtime head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, whose absence from recent coronavirus briefings triggered a wave of speculation in the media, said the timeline was still “flexible.”

Meanwhile, at 11:59p.m. Eastern Time last night, the tourist mecca of Miami, Florida went into “Shelter in Place” Mode, with only essential workers allowed out in public.

Being an “essential” worker in my small Northwest Mississippi city, it is very strange to drive to and from work on a 6-lane State Highway which connects 3 municipalities and to see just a fraction of the usual traffic on that busy street.

However, that is American life right now.

Once day you may be working and the next day you may be laid off.

Congressional Democrats have no empathy for us average Americans, none whatsoever.

They all live in mansions, like Nancy Pelosi does, or in gated communities.

They do not have to worry about not being able to pay their bills.

They receive a very generous salary courtesy of American Taxpayers, the same people whom they do not give a sh…..well, you know…about.

And, apparently, it’s not just the Congressional Democrats. The Democratic Governor of Nevada is going to sign a bill outlawing the use of the Malaria Drug which have been found to be 99.75 per cent effective in the treatment of the Coronavirus.

Yeah, let me kill some of the people who I’m supposed to be serving.

That will show everybody that “Orange Man Bad”.

What kind of logic is that??!!

The same kind of logic found in this article on DailyCaller.com

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi falsely claimed Tuesday on CNN that House Democrats’ coronavirus proposal only deals with the virus, and does not seek unrelated policy changes.

“It’s not a bill I would have written in terms of some things that relate to family medical leave, that relate to worker protections,” the speaker said. “Everything we’re suggesting just relates to Covid-19.”

Pelosi doubled down on the falsehood that her bill only relates to the coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s not changing policy except as it applies here,” Pelosi added. “Many of the provisions in there have been greatly improved because of negotiation.”

Sorry, Madame Speaker, but $35 million for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and funding for Planned Parenthood has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Chinese Coronavirus and providing average Americans relief from it.

I thought it was just Joe Biden who is suffering from dementia.

Apparently, all the Democrats have it!

“Based” Lindsey is right.

End the negotiations and pass the Coronavirus Relief Bill NOW!

It is obvious that the Democrats are a very unserious political party which nothing constructive to offer.

Americans will remember them in November…and it will not be a fond remembrance.

Instead of Helping Americans, Pelosi Submits Huge Coronavirus Bill Funding Completely Unrelated Pork Projects

07-kink-dt-600

DailyCaller.com reports that

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi on Monday introduced a massive coronavirus bill with a number of provisions completely unrelated to the crisis.

Pelosi’s coronavirus bill is 1,119 pages and contains provisions including, “conducting risk-limiting audits of results of elections,” bailing out the postal service, requiring early voting, same-day voter registration, requiring the airlines to fully offset their carbon emissions, gives you chance to look up greenhouse gas emissions from the flights you want to take, and much more that have nothing to do with helping solve the crisis at hand.

“The country is burning and House Democrats would rather delay passage of direct relief to working families and small business so they can manipulate the way we conduct elections, bail out the postal service, impose greenhouse gas mandates on the airlines, and ensure diversity on corporate boards,” Rachel Bovard, Senior Director of Policy at the Conservative Partnership Institute told the Daily Caller.

The bill also reportedly gives unprecedented collective bargaining powers for unions, increases fuel emissions standards for airlines and expands wind and solar tax credits.

“The bill does take a strong step in prohibiting stock buybacks and limiting executive compensation and dividends from corporations who get taxpayer-funded loans. If she started and stopped there, that would be a helpful proposal. As it stands, it’s lost in the rest of the completely partisan Democrat agenda that is House Democrats response,” Bovard continued.

Pelosi said Sunday that she will halt negotiations with the Senate and move to pass her own coronavirus package in the House, which could drag things out longer than many expected. Pelosi’s legislation will be a $1.6 trillion emergency package, according to Politico.

“The American people are counting on their leaders to deliver results now, but Pelosi and Senate Democrats cost our country at least a day. Small businesses, families, and hospitals are still waiting for aid because Democrats want to ‘restructure things to fit their vision,’” a GOP aide told the Daily Caller, referring to House Majority Whip James Clyburn’s comments to caucus members last week that the bill was “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”

The Speaker’s $1.6 trillion emergency package comes as Senate and House leaders could not lock down a deal Sunday for an expected vote. “From my standpoint, we’re apart,” Pelosi told reporters as she went into McConnell’s office Sunday morning to discuss the legislation.

Meanwhile, The Senate again failed to pass a procedural cloture vote Monday on a phase-three coronavirus stimulus bill as there has been continued internal dispute between both parties.

The vote was 49-46. Republicans needed 60 yes votes to pass the vote. On Sunday night the Senate tried to pass a cloture vote but failed 47-47 as no Democrats would jump on board.

Pelosi’s office did not respond to the Daily Caller when asked about the list of provisions unrelated to the coronavirus.

Among other “important matters” listed in Pelosi’s bill include the return of “Obamaphones” and $35 million for the John F. Kennedy Performing Arts Center.

Recently, I wrote about the Speaker of the House getting caught attempting to put abortion funding in the first Coronavirus Relief Bill.

It turns out that was just the tip of the iceberg.

How tone deaf are Pelosi and the Democrats?

Did they actually believe that average Americans who are out of work because of the “invisible scourge”, as President Trump called the Coronavirus at the Taskforce Press Conference yesterday, would see their pork-laden bill designed to pay their special interest groups as being beneficial?

If so, then they are a bunch of idiots, just as Senator John Kennedy described them yesterday.

There are average Americans out here in Realityville that do not know how they are going to pay their bills and feed their families while they are off work due to the Coronavirus.

That is why the President has been pushing so hard for a bill which will provide immediate relief in the form of $1,200 to every adult American citizen and $500 to each of their children.

What Pelosi and the Dems proved once again yesterday is that they do not give a rat’s hindquarters about average Americans.

Their number one priority is filling their own bank accounts and the bank accounts of their “friends”, i.e., those special interest groups and companies which they have a financial interest in.

I guarantee you, if you look at the investors lists of those wind and solar energy companies who sprang up out of nowhere during the Obama Administration, you will see several Capitol Hill Democrats and/or their family members name listed.

It is amazing to me that after three years of trying and failing to remove Trump from office via impeachment and not passing anything of significance of behalf of average Americans, that the Democrats in the House of Representatives and the Senate remain oblivious to the wants and the needs of average Americans, the very voters whom they always erroneously claim to represent.

If they don’t cooperate with the Republicans and pass some actual relief for average Americans during this difficult and scary time, I would not be surprised to see a march on Washington reminiscent of the scenes in the movies of the villagers chasing the Frankenstein Monster with torches and pitchforks, “shelter in place” be d@mned.

The Democrats awoke, as Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto called us during World War II, a “sleeping giant” in 2016.

If they thought we were angry then, they haven’t seen anything, yet.

Even in the Middle of the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic, Dems’ TDS Remains Their Top Priority

06-wuhan-li-600a

FoxNews.com reports that

Former aides to high-ranking Democratic politicians are joining a so-called “coronavirus war room” in order to attack President Trump’s response to the pandemic.

Protect Our Care — a nonprofit tied to liberal dark money groups — announced the war room on Thursday, with the group’s leader accusing Trump of exacerbating the pandemic. Heading the war room is Zac Petkanas, a former adviser to Hillary Clinton and former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Sarah Chase, a former research associate for the presidential campaign of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is joining the team as well.

Patrick Devlin, former Communications Director for Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., will serve as an adviser to the war room as well. War rooms are generally set up within political organizations to provide rapid response to the media cycle.

“This team has a wealth of know-how, experience and expertise and with the coronavirus crisis, which has been exacerbated by President Trump’s failure to prepare, we need the best in the business working on advocacy efforts to hold President Trump accountable for his failure to lead,” said Brad Woodhouse, Protect Our Care’s executive director.

Protect Our Care has been tied to “dark money” organizations like Arabella Advisors, which backs other groups attacking the president over the coronavirus response.

Specifically, it houses the New Venture Fund and Sixteen Thirty Fund, both of which support another Democrat-aligned group — American Bridge — that’s been preparing an ad hitting Trump on the coronavirus.

The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that Pacronym is planning to spend $5 million on ads attacking Trump’s response to the pandemic. That PAC is affiliated with the New Venture Fund and Acronym, whose board includes former Obama adviser David Plouffe. The ads will target five swing states (Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Arizona) and run on major digital platforms like Facebook.

Protect our Care, which is a project of the Sixteen Thirty Fund, has also been running an ad against Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., reportedly tying his opposition to ObamaCare to the coronavirus.

On Thursday, Twitter declined to flag another ad attacking Trump’s coronavirus response.

The Trump campaign alleges that the ad replayed Trump saying the coronavirus was Democrats’ latest “hoax” without supplying the proper context. Twitter reportedly refused the campaign’s request to flag the ad as “manipulated media,” indicating it met the site’s guidelines.

“Fellow Americans,” a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, ran the ad but it’s unclear where the group originated. Its website is relatively sparse and vaguely refers to opposing political division in the United States.

I don’t know about you, gentle readers, but I view the actions of these Far Left cowardly, whiny, anti-American, seditious, traitorous, Liberal Democrats and their allies on Capitol Hill and in the Main Stream Media as being absolutely reprehensible.

There are Americans dying and losing their jobs because of a virus originating from a Communist country who wants to wipe us off the face of the Earth and these oblivious idiots are actually defending them, proclaiming that it is racist to identify the coronavirus as coming from China!

Are you kidding me?

Trump could wave his hand and part the Potomac River and these idiots would say that he did not spread the waters far enough apart.

I’m sitting here on Thursday night tired from my actual job and these ungrateful bozos have finally tweaked my last nerve.

Their reckless behavior is directly responsible for the hoarding of meat, bread, milk, cleaning products, and, yes, toilet paper to the point to where grocery stores like Walmart and Kroger are having to have security escort the pallets of toilet paper to the aisle and stand there so that the stockers can actually get the product on the shelves without a riot ensuing.

Grocery stores are setting up special hours for our Seniors to shop so that they can get what they need without being jostled and having to be nervous while they are shopping.

From this average American’s viewpoint, President Trump and his taskforce are doing a good job in a difficult situation.

The time for partisan politics flew out the window back in January when the President had the foresight to block travel to and from China and was called a racist by the idiots mentioned above for doing it.

However, the TDS-driven Democrats were too busy attempting to impeach the President over nothing impeachable.

The Democratic Party’s priorities are so out of touch with those of average Americans that to call them tone deaf would be the biggest understatement in history.

I have a suggestion for all of you Liberal Democrats out there who are still defending China:

If you wish to continue to take Communist China’s side against America, if will be far easier for you to do so if you just go ahead and move there.

You won’t be missed.

Oh, and before you leave, when you receive your Conoravirus Stimulus Check in the mail, please write on it “RETURN TO SENDER” and put it back in the mailbox.

After all, you noble Liberal Democrats, “the smartest people in the room”, wouldn’t want to be seen as a bunch of hypocrites, would you?

Oh, never mind…you already are.

Trump Proposes $1 Trillion Coronavirus Package Which Includes 2 Rounds of Direct Cash Payments to Americans

trump-white-house-messy-desk

FoxNews.com reports that

The White House is moving forward with a proposed $1 trillion coronavirus package that would infuse Americans’ bank accounts with two rounds of direct cash payments.

The Trump administration is seeking $250 billion in payments to Americans starting April 6, followed by another $250 billion cash payment round beginning May 18, according to the working draft of the plan obtained by Fox Business Network.

The two payments to taxpayers would be identical and the amounts would vary by family income and size, according to the Treasury Department document on the “Stage Three” coronavirus proposal.

The Washington Post first reported the document.

The draft of the plan outlines a major economic infusion that goes well beyond the stimulus and bailout plans during the last financial crisis and designed to prop up an economy that has ground to a halt as stores and restaurants and schools are shuttering nationwide and families are isolating at home.

The Trump administration’s stimulus package is bigger than the 2008 bank bailout, and the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was passed and signed under former President Barack Obama and totaled $787 billion to help stabilize the economy about 14 months after the last recession began.

Congress and President Trump already approved an $8.3 billion package to prop up the health care system to respond to the pandemic. The Senate Wednesday sent another bill to Trump’s desk to give 14 paid sick days to workers, boost unemployment insurance, make coronavirus testing free and increase food assistance during the crisis; Trump signed it into law hours later.

But, all sides have agreed that the government needed to pass a third round of stimulus as soon as possible to help small businesses stay afloat, aid workers who have lost jobs and give the economy a jolt as American consumers nationwide have been stuck home.

The administration’s working plan amounts to $1 trillion on paper. It would provide $50 billion for lending to the airline industry, which has drastically reduced flights due to travel bans and social distancing. The proposal would require “limits on increases in executive pay” until the loans are repaid.

The proposal calls for $150 billion to “other severely distressed sectors of the U.S. economy” through secured lending or loan guarantees.

Trump signaled Wednesday that airlines, cruise ships and hotel industries are all “prime candidates” for support.

The Trump administration also wants $300 billion to help small businesses, which have suffered under social isolation and various cities banning dine-in services at bars and restaurants in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The administration would create a “small business interruption loan program” targeted at businesses with fewer than 500 employees that would cover six weeks of payroll. The amount for each employee’s wages would be capped at $1,540 per week, or about $80,000 a year.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has taken the lead on negotiations with Congress on the coronavirus response. He worked closely with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on developing the paid sick days and emergency leave program. Now the third round of legislation is being developed with GOP senators.

The negotiations are ongoing, and Trump administration officials cautioned the plan is fast-moving and in flux.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said the Senate won’t recess until a third-round proposal is passed. Then it would head to the House for approval.

Yesterday, the reaction to this good news by the Liberals on Social Media absolutely blew my mind.

Although, I should have expected it.

Instead of being grateful that President Trump was attempting to do something to help average Americans who are being economically affected by the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic, the Liberals on Social Media started proclaiming that the emergency payments to taxpayers were a form of socialism and that we were all hypocrites, including the President.

First, this emergency relief is NOT socialism.

Marxist Governments NEVER give any money back to the Proletariat.

All of the funds which come into the Politboro stay there, growing the Central Government and making the politicians rich while the Proletariat continues to suffer.

Second, for all of the griping, complaining, incessant criticism, and personal attacks which Modern American Liberals have been bombarding Trump with since his Presidential Campaign, you had better believe that none of them, or the “True Conservative” Never-Trumpers will send any money that they receive back to the Administration.

Every move which President Trump and his Taskforce Members have made during the crisis has been second-guessed and criticized by the usual suspects, who care more about harming the President than they do about the health and well-being of their fellow Americans.

Years ago, when John Calipari, the coach of the University of Kentucky Basketball Team was the coach at my alma mater, the University of Memphis, he called those who continuously criticized his program, the Miserables.

Calipari eventually wound up screwing the U of M’s Basketball Program and splitting to Kentucky, but that’s another story.

These Liberals , just like the Far Left Democrats in Congress, are going to remain miserable for as long at President Trump remains in office.

And, they are going to keep attacking him, being as annoying as Randy Quaid’s Cleveland Indians Fan was in “Major League 2”.

Personally, I am thankful that we have a President who is trying to do his job to the best of his abilities while placing the priorities of America and her citizens above everything and everybody else.

We are going to make it through the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic.

GOD’S GOT THIS!!!

DHS Considering Plan to Turn Away Asylum Seekers and Illegals From Southern Border Due to Coronavirus

Trump-national.emergency-1024x536

“Take me in, tender woman
Take me in, for heaven’s sake
Take me in, tender woman,” sighed the snake
“I saved you,” cried the woman
“And you’ve bitten me, but why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I’m going to die”
“Oh shut up, silly woman,” said the reptile with a grin
“You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in – “The Snake”, Al Wilson

FoxNews.com reports that

Fox News has learned that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is considering a plan that would turn away asylum seekers and anyone who has crossed the southern border illegally, in light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The idea is currently being developed by DHS staff, but there is still more work to do to be done, before it’s presented to President Trump for a final decision.

A DHS spokesperson told Fox News that the president has the authority to do whatever is necessary to protect the American public from this potentially deadly disease.

“President Trump is 100 percent committed to protecting the American people from coronavirus and all options are in the table,” the official said.

Trump has long been a strong proponent of stronger border security and has favored a targeted approach to limiting illegal immigration.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) falls under DHS and would be subject to carry out the directive if it were approved.

This news comes after the European Union (EU) chose to close the bloc’s borders to most foreigners, on Tuesday.

The ban is expected to last for at least 30 days, with citizens of the United Kingdom, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland likely being exempt.

Considering that those who cross our Southern Border illegally are, in fact, breaking our laws by doing so, I have no problem with escorting them immediately back across the border to Mexico.

Over the past couple of decades, a lot of American Taxpayer money has been spent taking care of illegals, both minors and adults, who have entered our country carrying disease with them.

Back in 2015, Former President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) allowed a lot of illegal minors carrying infectious diseases like measles to cross our borders.

Obama then spirited the minors away to military bases across the country from where they would be inserted into American communities.

At the time, the Oxford Journals reported that

Risk factors for these infections include limited access to safe food and water, overcrowding, poor nutrition, and exposure to insect vectors. The infections noted in immigrants from Latin America partly reflect these exposures. For example, fecal contamination is common and results in an increased risk for enteric infections. Animal husbandry practices are less safe in Latin America than in the United States, and meat products are often sold informally without screening for parasites having been done. Milk products may not be pasteurized. Overcrowding and poor nutrition may amplify transmission of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other respiratory pathogens. These exposures may continue after immigration to the United States.

A number of diseases that are common in Latin America are rarely diagnosed in the United States. Diarrhea due to toxigenic Escherichia coli is common among residents of and travelers to Latin America. However, toxigenic E. coli diarrhea is rarely recognized in immigrants because of the short incubation period and the limited duration of the illness. Chagas’ disease is rarely diagnosed in immigrants. This may reflect the low prevalence of Chagas’ disease in Mexico, the birthplace of most immigrants to the United States. Confusion of Chagas’ disease with other causes of heart disease is a problem. It is also possible that, because of the long period when individuals with Chagas’ disease are asymptomatic, the number of cases diagnosed may increase with time. Hansen’s disease (formerly known as leprosy) is endemic in Latin America. Although it has a characteristic presentation (hypoesthesia and skin lesions), its incidence is very low in Mexico and Central America, and the disease is uncommon in Latin American immigrants.

Now, consider, if you will, the pestilence of Latin America serving as an incubator for the Chinese Coronavirus, a virtual stewpot of pestilence which will fortify and intensify the virus itself until it comes across our border being transported by unsuspecting illegal aliens.

I fully support closing our Southern Border.

Being caring and compassionate is one thing.

Willingly allowing Pestilence, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, into America is another thing entirely.

And, it is a very stupid idea.

Trump Announces New Coronavirus Safety Guidelines, “Our Government is Prepared to Do Whatever It Takes”

1280px-President_Trump_Vice_President_Pence_and_Members_of_the_Coronavirus_Task_Force_Brief_the_Press_49646174161

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump announced on Monday a set of guidelines that he said Americans should follow to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus — despite admitting that the pandemic could stretch into July or August.

Speaking during a briefing of the coronavirus task force, Trump outlined a plan to slow the spread of COVID-19 in 15 days.

“With several weeks of focused action, we can turn the corner and turn it quickly,” Trump said. “Our government is prepared to do whatever it takes.”

At another point during the news conference, asked if the U.S. was headed into a recession, Trump replied: “Well, it may be.” But then, he said, “We’re not thinking in terms of recession, we’re thinking in terms of the virus.”

The guidelines advised that older people and those with underlying health conditions “stay home and away from other people.”

Officials recommended that large swaths of the population isolate themselves and everyone avoid social gatherings or groups of more than 10 people.

They also said Americans should work from home if possible; avoid eating or drinking in bars and restaurants; and “avoid discretionary travel, shopping trips, and social visits.”

When asked when the pandemic would subside, Trump said that “if we do a really good job,” the crisis could pass by July or August, a far less optimistic take than in his earlier predictions that it could be over within weeks.

“We will rally together as one nation and we will defeat the virus,” he added.

Trump’s comments came as Ohio’s governor announced his recommendation to delay the state’s primary election until June amid the outbreak. The president said that while the state’s whose presidential primary elections are being very careful, he thinks postponing elections are “unnecessary.”

“Postponing is not a very good thing,” he said. “I think postponing is unnecessary.”

The coronavirus pandemic has infected over 169,000 people and killed over 6,500. The COVID-19 illness has caused mild or moderate symptoms for most patients, but severe symptoms have been more likely in the elderly or people with existing health problems. More than 77,000 people have recovered from it so far, mostly in China.

The U.S. surgeon general said Monday that the United States was about where Italy was two weeks ago in the coronavirus struggle, a sign that infections were expected to rise.

“We are at a critical inflection point in this country, people,” Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams told Fox News. “When you look at the projections, there’s every chance that we could be Italy.” Still, he said the U.S. had opportunities to mitigate the pandemic.

On Fox News, Adams claimed the U.S. had “turned the tide” on testing, a critical part of tracking and containing pandemics, but whether that was true remained to be seen.

The U.S. effort has been hobbled by a series of missteps, including flaws with the testing kits first distributed by the federal government and bureaucratic hurdles that held up testing by private laboratories. But, Trump, who has been sharply criticized for underplaying the severity of the crisis, stuck to his optimistic tone about the nation’s response.

“Everybody is so well unified and working so hard,” he tweeted. “It is a beautiful thing to see.”

I, for one, appreciate all of the hard work which President Trump, Vice-President Pence and the Coronavirus Task Force have done and are doing in their attempt to lessen the severity of this crisis which we are experiencing.

As I have been writing, this all seems very surreal to me, like something out of a bad Outer Limits episode.

However, unfortunately, it is very real.

Perhaps this is a test or perhaps this is an opportunity which has been laid before us.

A former pastor of mine posted on Facebook that God is forcing the Church to going out among the people.

While we are all supposed to let our light shines as examples of His love, it is difficult to do it in today’s coarse, hurried, and selfish world.

The president called on Americans to stop hoarding supplies so that they may be readily available for others, who are not physically able to go ripping and running through the local Walmart, scooping up all of the toilet paper, disinfectant, etc.

As Christian Americans, or, if you are not a follower of Christ, simply out of compassion for others, please let our older friends and neighbors break in line at the cash register in front of you. They are, in many cases, feeble and afraid, and a simple act of kindness will mean the world to them and will allow them to get back to the safety of their home in a faster manner.

There is absolutely no reason to be hoarding anything. Toilet paper is produced in America, not China.

And, if you are hoarding toilet paper because of a pandemic caused by an upper respiratory virus, you’re concentrating on wiping the wrong end.

President Trump is right.

Americans have always stood together in times of crisis.

My late parents’ generation was called “The Greatest” because of the way that they sacrificed to defeat fascism around the globe during World War II while winning the “war at home”.

Judging from a lot of the behavior I have been seeing in the retail and grocery stores during the Coronavirus Crisis, there are members of this present generation who couldn’t fight their way out of a cage constructed of toilet paper.

This is our nation’s opportunity to pull together as Americans, to take care of one another as our parents and grandparents did before us.

This is not the time for petty politics.

This is the time, just like the day after September 11, 2001, for Americans to unite and stand together as one against a common enemy.

LET’S ROLL!

GOD’S GOT THIS!!!

Until He Comes,

KJ
