Democrat Socialists Claim Jesus Christ Was a Socialist  …Why They’re Wrong

The Democratic Socialism Movement that is currently taking over the Democrat Party is an offshoot of Marxist Theory, named for the radical who conceived it, Karl Marx. It’s basic tenet states,

From each according to his ability to each according to his need.

The modern translation, provided for us by Former President Barack Hussein Obama, during his 2008 Presidential Campaign, is that working Americans need to “share the wealth”.

That, boys and girls, is “Socialism” and, in Marxist Theory, according to Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin, Socialism is the step before Communism.

A simple definition of Socialism describes it as

a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

In a opinion piece posted several years ago on ChristianPost.com, Christian Talk Show Host Julie Roys gave the following Five Reasons that Socialism itself is not based on  the teachings of Jesus Christ.

1. Socialism is Based on a Materialistic Worldview

According to socialists like Bernie Sanders, the greatest problem in the world is the unequal distribution of wealth.

His website declares: “The issue of wealth and income inequality is the great moral issue of our time, it is the great economic issue of our time, and it is the great political issue of our time.”

This betrays a fundamentally materialistic worldview, which is the basis of socialism.

To socialists, all that really exists is the material world.

2. Socialism Punishes Virtue

Socialists want to distribute wealth to individuals according to their need, regardless of virtue.

As Karl Marx, famously said, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

However, whenever any institution provides aid, it runs the risk of removing God-designed rewards and consequences. It can punish those who are industrious by making them pay for those who are not. And, it can reward those who aren’t industrious by giving them the fruits of another man’s labor. This is precisely what socialism does.

Interestingly, Marx mooched off others his whole life, and failed to provide for his wife and children.

As Aristotle once noted, “Men start revolutionary changes for reasons connected with their private lives.”

The Bible teaches that aid should be tied to responsibility. First, anyone who refuses to work should be refused aid.

3. Socialism Endorses Stealing

Barack Obama once defended his socialist policies to a little girl by saying, “We’ve got to make sure that people who have more money help the people who have less money. If you had a whole pizza, and your friend had no pizza, would you give him a slice?”

That sounds pretty Christian, right? What Christian wouldn’t endorse sharing your abundance with someone who has nothing? However, Obama wasn’t endorsing people voluntarily sharing their wealth with others; he was endorsing the government forcibly taking a piece of the pie from one person and giving it to someone else. Put another way, that’s saying that if you have three cars and your neighbor has none, the government has a right to take your car and give it to your neighbor. That’s not Christian; that’s stealing!

But, socialists don’t believe in private property. And, some Christian socialists actually assert that the Bible doesn’t either. That’s preposterous.

Both the Old Testament and New Testament unequivocally affirm private property. We can’t even obey the eighth commandment to not steal, unless we accept the notion of private ownership. Nor, can we steward our money as the Bible commands if the state owns our money, not us.

4. Socialism Encourages Envy and Class Warfare

Socialists demonize the rich, blaming all of society’s problems on them.

Bernie Sanders once posted to his Facebook Page: “Let us wage a moral and political war against the billionaires and corporate leaders on Wall Street and elsewhere, whose policies and greed are destroying the middle class of America.”

Here, Sanders is mimicking Karl Marx, who viewed history as a series of class struggles between the rich and the poor — and advocated overthrowing the ruling class.

Scripture strongly warns the rich and powerful not to oppress the poor.

In fact, Proverbs 14:31 says, “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for his maker . . .”

But, Sanders — and other Leftists, including Hillary Clinton — go far beyond decrying specific acts of injustice. They basically condemn an entire class of people simply for possessing wealth. And, they encourage those who are poor to overthrow them. In fact, Clinton once said the U.S. economy required a “toppling” of the wealthiest 1%.

The rich are not causing all the problems in American society. People like Bill Gates are not acquiring wealth by stealing from the masses. They’re creating great products, which produce wealth, and actually provide jobs for many people. But, even if they were exploiting the poor, nowhere does Scripture support the have-nots demanding money from the haves. Instead, it teaches that we should not covet (Exodus 20:17) and should be content in all circumstances (Phil. 4:11-13). 

5. Socialism Seeks to Destroy Marriage & Family

A little known fact about socialism is that, from its beginning, it has sought to destroy marriage and family. Grove City Professor Paul Kengor explains this in detail in his book, Takedown: From Communists to Progressives, How the Left Has Sabotaged Marriage and Family. Essentially, what socialism seeks is for the state to replace the family. That way, it can indoctrinate children in its Leftist way of thinking, and remove from them any notions of God and religion.

Friedrich Engels, co-author with Marx of the “The Communist Manifesto,” once wrote that the society he envisioned would be one where “the single family ceases to be the economic unit of society. Private housekeeping is transformed into a social industry. The care and education of the children becomes a public affair.”

Similarly today, Bernie Sanders calls for a “revolution” in childcare and for the government to provide early childhood education beginning with children as young as six-weeks-old. And, he’s a proud supporter of gay marriage — what Kengor calls “communism’s Trojan Horse” to secure the final takedown of traditional marriage.

To socialists, what Bernie describes is a utopia. But, to Christians, it’s a dystopia. That’s because there’s nothing Christian about socialism — and there’s absolutely no way Jesus would ever support it.

I do not believe that Jesus would be a part of the Social Justice Movement, advocated by the Modern American Liberals of the Democratic Party. His was and is a soul-saving movement. One that still brings hundreds of thousand of people to individual salvation on this terrestrial ball every day. A movement that, in fact, was embraced by the founders of this cherished land.

America was not founded to be a Socialist Nation, no matter what attention-seeking clowns like Hassan Piker and AOC wish to believe.

I have noticed in the last few decades, a propensity among those in the Entertainment and Political Spotlight, who have not been raised in a Christian home, to be intolerant toward those who have.

Americans’ Christian Faith that the majority of us still anchor our lives around, has been the Solid Rock upon which our nation was built. To deny that, is to deny reality, to re-write history, and, to, quite frankly, endanger “the Shining City on a Hill”.

As President Ronald Reagan said,

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under. 

Isn’t it interesting that those among us who claim to be the most tolerant are actually the least tolerant of all?

And, those who claim to be champions of “personal freedom” are enemies of the religious freedom secured for us in the United States Constitution?

You can separate the wheat from the chaff by paying attention to who talks about Freedom and Responsibility and who talks about the right of “citizens”, both legal and illegal, to “free stuff”.

Majority of Dems and “Independents” Not Proud of USA as We Approach 250

Can you believe that we are only 6 days away from the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America?

Fireworks tents are already set up across the nation as average Americans are beginning to buy their fireworks, food, and drink to help celebrate the festivities ahead.

Something caught my eye two days ago on FoxNews.com that has me disappointed and concerned about the future of the Shining City Upon a Hill.

“Gallup’s 2025 findings record that only 36% of Democrats said they were “very proud” of the U.S., down from 62% the year before. Comparatively, Republicans recorded much higher levels at 92 percent among respondents.

Independents also hit a low point, with just 53% expressing a great deal of pride, a seven-point drop from a year prior.”

Now, the “Independents” part doesn’t surprise me as the overwhelming majority of Independents are people who are ashamed to call themselves “Democrats” and who vote 99.10% of the time with the Far Left Democrats.

And, I’m really not surprised at the  anti-American feelings of the Democrats as they have been feeling that way since the Vietnam War when it became cool to be “anti-establishment”.

That attitude has grown exponentially over the decades since due to the wrong things being taught in schools by Democrat Socialist Teacher Unions and the Democrats in power who backed them and sponsor them financially.

Don’t get me wrong, there are still hard working well-meaning teachers out there who are working hard to teach young minds full of mush what they need to learn in order to achieve.

However, those who would love to see America be radically changed have been very busy in our educational system and in all forms of communication, the Legacy media, the social media, and the written word.

That is why during Operation Epic Fury and all the actions afterward by the Trump Administration to try to bring peace to the Middle East and end the nuclear capability of Iran, the world’s biggest state sponsor of radical Islamic terrorism, a lot of Democrats, Independents, and RINOs have  quite frankly, been pulling for Iran.

…And, don’t get me started about Tucker Carlson, who has proved that the late, great Rush Limbaugh was absolutely right about him.

Yes, it is our Constitutional Right that enables us to speak against our government to stand up for things that are right, as patriots did during the Obama and Biden Administrations, in which the government itself was used as a weapon to stifle Free Speech against average Americans.

However, what has me worried is something that Jesus Christ Himself said, in Matthew 12:25, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”

As we are seeing in the Northeast, the Midwest, and the Left Coast, with those who are seeking to replace our Constitutional Republic with what they are perceiving to be a better form of government, Marxism, that just makes the government richer and average workers poorer, are winning congressional seats and state and municipal elections giving them a platform to continue to try to radically change America into a Third-world Socialist Ghetto.

However, the good news is, just as our Founding Fathers, who came to this country seeking not freedom from religion but the right to practice their faith as they wanted to, knew, our individual rights do not come from men.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” – The Declaration of Independence

As American citizens prepare to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the greatest nation on the face of God’s Green Earth, let us remember all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our individual freedom and Who actually is in control.

And, for those who do not want to live here anymore and enjoy our American freedoms, the door is wide open for you to leave.

As we say in the Heartland, “Don’t let the screen door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya.”

Sunday Thought: Faith, “Concepts”, and a Divided America

It’s Sunday. Here’s your quick thought for today.

I was reading this morning about a “Satanic Revival” being held up in Maryland somewhere. It wasn’t the article that caught my attention. It was the comments.

As you can imagine, a lot of laughing emojis and smart alec remarks brushing off the very existence of the Fallen Angel formerly known as Lucifer.

I thought about the rise of malevolent forces that we are bearing witness to in this country in the present age.

We have those living in this country who hate 24/7 for no other reason than hate itself.

They hate the concept of a Constitutional Republic and traditional American faith and values, those things that have kept this country free for going on 250 years this July 4th. They hate the family unit, the bedrock of our nation.

And, most importantly they hate the Triune God, Our Creator, Who gave us our individual rights and freedom at birth.

In the comments of the Facebook article that I read this morning, there were people blowing off Satan as a concept, which I find to be dangerously naive.

If you live your life without the god of Abraham and a wary knowledge that there is such a thing as satanic influence, then you open up the floodgates for chaos and anarchy, not only in your own life but also in the lives of those you care about.

And, if enough people do that, countries become ripe for the pickings by those who espouse an evil political ideology.

The Bible tells us that we are fighting against “princes and principalities”.

In our era these “princes and principalities” do their work through social and political ideologies, which lead to failed nations like Venezuela and Cuba.

I’m not saying that that’s going to happen to America.

However, we sure do seem to be in a battle for the hearts and souls of our nation and its future.

Sunday Morning Thoughts: “A House Divided Against Itself…”

Over the next 7 days, 500 participants come including the president of the United States Donald J Trump, are scheduled to read the Bible aloud from cover to cover.

Earlier this week, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas told a crowd at the University of Texas at Austin that America needs to get back to the principles upon which we were founded.

Justice Thomas is exactly right.

If Jesus Christ were to walk through the streets of our country right now, he would see a country divided.

What I mean by that is He would see one political party who is trying to bting our country back from a spiraling collapse by trying to reemphasize America’s place as a world leader while strengthening our country domestically and attempting to bring back the traditional American faith and values which made our country strong to begin with.

The other political party and their followers are advocating a cradle-to-grave totalitarian government in which 50% or more of taxpayers’ income would be relegated for use by the state to appease those they deem worthy of Americans’ money.

On this side, He would see a political party trying to rewrite the Bible as a book advocating sin, “non-traditional families”, and “fighting fascism”, while the advocates of this political ideology don’t have a clue as to what fascism is

People have taken the word of God and thrown away salvation through repentance by proclaiming that Jesus would accept people’s sin.

Yes, He loves us all, but He hates sin.

And that’s enough of my preaching for today.

The government viewpoint, which those out of power at this moment, are espousing, can be seen in their fight against the elimination of financial corruption in our federal, state, and municipal governments.

You can also see what they really believe in their fight against Israel and their support of Iran and others who would destroy her and her people.

The Israelis are proclaimed by God to be his people in Genesis 12: 1-3.

The bottom line is, unless this country can find its way back to embracing what is right and stop embracing what isn’t, this country could very well eventually be assigned to the Dustbin of History.

As a brother-in-Christ always tells me, it’s not politicians who are going to save this country.

It’s God.

America is on the edge of a precipice looking down into an abyss. We need to find our way back to the Rock on which this country was founded.

He is Risen! Resurrection Day 2026

This morning, as I lay in bed, The Lord had me thinking about Him. These thoughts were about what today, a day that Christians around the world celebrate as the day that Jesus Christ rose victorious from the grave, must have been like.

Pretend for a moment, that you are an average citizen living at the time of Christ…

[For the past three years, you have seen this charismatic young man speak about the love and mercy of God, and how His Grace and Forgiveness is freely given, IF…

And, there’s the catch…

According to this carpenter’s son from Nazareth, you have to confess your sins, and ask the Great I am, for forgiveness.

Whoa! Wait a minute. Who is this guy? A radical? Ask Yahweh for forgiveness?

And, what’s that he said? You will then have a personal relationship with His Father?

How can that be? This is the Great I am. This is the Deity of Vengeance who destroyed those escaped slaves from Egypt for throwing a party, while Moses was up on a mountain, and building and worshiping a Golden Calf.

And, remember what happened to King Nebuchadnezzar? Daniel interpreted a dream for him, explaining that his kingdom would be ruled over by Gentiles until God sent His King. Ol’ Nebby got mad, because he couldn’t rule over the Israelites and over the whole world unless God allowed him to do so. He forgot that, and became very proud. He tried to make the people think that he was very wonderful, and that they should worship him. He didn’t trust God as some of the kings of the Israelites did, but had the very foolish idea that he could be a wise and wonderful king without any help from God.

So, what do you suppose occurred?

Why, the King had another dream, and when he found out what it meant it was really terrible. In this dream God told him that he would lose his mind and would go out in the field and eat grass just like the cattle for seven years. And Nebuchadnezzar actually did this, too. Can you imagine a mighty king, as he thought himself to be, crawling around on the ground eating grass? The Bible tells us that his hair grew long and coarse and looked like bird feathers, and his fingernails became like the claws of animals.

Finally, though, Nebuchadnezzar’s reason returned to him, and when he found out what he had done he was very much ashamed of himself.

However, he learned by this experience that he was not as wise and powerful as he had thought. Learning this, he gave praise to God for allowing him to be the ruler.

This is the God that some carpenter’s son from Nazareth has been telling us that we can have a personal relationship with?

Strange indeed.

Finally, one of His disciples betrayed Him and gave Him up to the Romans, who crucified Him.

I noticed that while He was hanging there the guards and some of the townspeople there were mocking Jesus, telling Him that if He was the Son of God, to ”jump down off of that cross”. Meanwhile, some of the centurions were casting lots over His robe.

All except this one centurion, who was just watching Him, as if he was waiting for something to happen…]

And, then came the Glorious Morning…
[Wow. It’s really been amazing around here since they crucified Jesus. Did you feel that earthquake? The veil of the temple was torn in half! And did you hear? A bunch of people that had died years ago, were seen walking around the city! But that’s not all. Don’t tell me you haven’t heard?

Listen to this: He has risen! He arose from the dead and was seen by several people. It’s true! I know it sounds unbelievable. I can scarcely take it in myself. Mary Magdalene and Mary, James and Salome’s mother, went to the tomb to perform the anointing of His body and it wasn’t there! On top of that, there was this young guy there, dressed in a white robe. They said he must have been 9 feet tall. He said, “You are seeking Jesus of Nazareth. Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. See the place where you laid him.” So they went and told the disciples. But you know how Peter is. He just had to go run up there and see for himself.

Jesus even approached two of them on the road to Emmaus. They didn’t recognize him. He even broke bread with them that night. They realized who He was and He disappeared! They ran to tell the disciples and as they were telling them, Jesus appeared right in front of them! They were all starting to panic. Jesus said, “Peace to you.” But they couldn’t believe it was him, especially Thomas. So he had him touch him in the hole in his hand where they drove the nail and where the spear pierced his side.

Jesus ate with them and performed other signs and miracles in front of them and they understood scripture as never before. He also came to them at the Sea of Tiberius. Peter took the disciples fishing and they weren’t catching anything. Jesus told them from the bank to cast the net down on the right side. They did, and they could hardly bring it in the boat! When they got back to land, Jesus already had a fire going and some fish and bread ready to eat. He asked Peter three times if he loved Him, and each time He told him “Feed my sheep’. Hey, isn’t that the same number of times Peter Denied Him?

Anyway, He taught them many things before He left. They watched as He was taken straight up into heaven. Can you imagine?

The disciples are making plans now to go out and starting spreading the Good News about Jesus’ Resurrection. They are talking about going out in pairs. Man. Nothing is ever going to be the same again.]

The despair being felt by the average citizens of Rome, at the time, is not unlike the situation which we, as average Americans, find ourselves in today.

We, too, are still struggling in the darkness before the dawn.

Our American Culture has been crumbling before our very eyes, as sin, depravity, and personal irresponsibility have been lauded by “the smartest people in the room” as normal, and values to be embraced…a Golden Calf to be worshiped by those who have turned their backs of the Almighty, because He will not give them the worldly gratification they seek…and because they erroneously believe that they are smarter than God, and can interpret and ignore God’s Holy Word in order to ignore and to rewrite to make it mean whatever they want to, in order to assuage their own consciousness, in an attempt to stifle that “Still Small Voice” within them, Who is reminding them of their sin and the consequences of it.

For the past several years, our Sovereign Nation and the rest of the world have been fighting enemies foreign and domestic, even within our own government, along with a Chinese Coronavirus, a combination of challenges which have claimed thousands of deaths in our country and the loss of jobs for millions of Americans.

Today, as we watch as out-of-control judges and political ideologues attempt to take away our American Freedom, we all need to remember the words of President Ronald Reagan:

We are never defeated unless we give up on God.

Fellow Americans….my message to you on this Resurrection Day 2026 is

DO NOT GIVE UP ON GOD. DO NOT GIVE UP ON THE FOUNDING FATHERS’ HOPE, WHICH BECAME AMERICA.

As the old country Preacher’s wife always told him when she took away his plate after supper,

Hold on to your fork, Hon. Dessert is on it’s way.

The final chapter of the amazing story of our Blessed Land has not been written yet. It is up to each and every one of us to write it, strengthened by the Grace of God.

Saturday Quick Thought: The Difference Between Christianity and Islam

I have heard and read the critics of our military operation in Iran, and coincidentally, those who want DHS to be defunded and want them to be closed as a department, who claim that there is not any difference between Christianity and Islam.

Quite frankly, that’s like saying that there’s no difference between an in-ground swimming pool and a garden hose.

In Islam, the way to “walk with Allah” and escape his judgement on that final day of judgment is through ‘falah’, which means self-effort or positive achievement. The faithful must submit to Allah and follow all of his laws as found in the Koran. Judgment Day in Islam involves some sort of measurement of what the believer has done wrong and what they’ve done right. And even then you might not be let into “heaven” if Allah decides you’re not good enough.

This is the direct opposite of Christianity.

According to the Bible, no man can ever be good enough to deserve God’s favor, to win God’s Heaven, because from birth we have Free Will. This Free Will may cause us to reject God and live our lives our own way. That’s why it was necessary for Jesus Christ to die for our sins, covering us in His blood with the New Covenant.

God’s Word tells us that what we need is not ‘falah,’ but faith. To have faith in, to trust, to rely on Jesus and his death as as “the expiation for our sins”. Those who have been Saved by Jesus Christ can be sure that in the future God will welcome them into heaven with wide open arms, because they have been washed by His blood.

Islam and Christianity present two very different Deities, who may share some similarities, but who have different identities and ultimately different standards. To pretend they are the same is not only to be clueless of the faith of the majority of Americans, but also, to be ignorant of an integral part of our American Heritage, the legacy of Christian Faith, which our Founding Fathers bequeathed us.

Now, I am not saying that every Muslim is on a jihad against “the infidels”.

However…

When Christians become “radicalized”, we want to share the testimony of what God has done for us through His love, with everyone we meet. We get involved in our local church and we become better fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and American citizens.

When Muslims become “radicalized”, they want to “kill the Infidels” in the name of “Allah the Merciful”.

In the case of the Lone Wolf Islamic Terrorists committing the attacks that America has been witnessing on our shores, their immersion into Radical Islam led them to attempt to “kill the infidels” just as their “brothers” along with the Mad Mullahs in Iran have been doing for 47 years.

For Democrats to deny that, is disingenuous at best, and just plain out-and-out lying at worst.

Sunday Quick Thought: The Iranian Christian Underground and College Campus Revivals

Good morning! Here’s your quick thought for this Sunday morning: Did you know that there is a growth in Christian Underground Churches in iran? Over the last couple of years, 50,000 of the 75,000 mosques in Iran have closed. This growth in people turning to Jesus Christ in Iran was mentioned this morning on Fox and Friends. Did you also know that Generation Z here in the middle of Culture War-torn America have been turning to Christ as well? There have been revivals on college campuses with young people giving their lives to Jesus Christ. 15% of young men in Generation Z have already given their lives to Christ. There have even been high school kids standing up to protesters on high school campuses and while that is not visibly a proclamation of salvation, it is a sign that more kids are being raised in the way in which they should go. What hit me is the fact that during the darkest times of the Roman Empire after the death and resurrection of Christ, Christians would meet in the homes of Believers just as the Iranians are doing. This growth in Christianity was a backlash to the embracing of evil and moral iniquity which the Romans championed. In times of personal and national struggle, historically, people have always turned toward the Everlasting Light of Salvation. Sir Isaac Newton said that “for every action there is an equinoxidant reaction”. I have friends who are saying that what we are seeing now is biblical. I see that as well. What is interesting to me is that the congregations of non-denominational Bible-believing Churches are growing while those in the denominations who have forsworn the Eord of God for the word of man are shrinking to the point to where churches are closing. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the light. No one cometh to the father, but by me.” (John 14:6) The fact that those who are surrounded by darkness are seeking the Light of The World should give us all hope.

Christmas Eve 2025: Making a Difference

Here’s a quick thought for Christmas Eve 2025:

“Tis the season for Christmas movies.

From the Hallmark romance movies to Bill Murray’s “Scrooged” to “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, there are movies to be found on television for everyone’s taste. However, there is none quite like Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life”, the Holiday Classic starring Jimmy Stewart.

In the movie, Stewart plays the role of George Bailey, an average man whom, through a series of circumstances, finds himself living a life which he had never really envisioned himself leading. When dire circumstances arise, he contemplates killing himself, only to be stopped by an angel named Clarence, who shows him what his hometown would be like if he had never been born.

After viewing the difference which he had made in his sphere of influence, George prays to the Lord to return him back to his family and his life.

The movie ends happily, with all the people whom he had helped over the years coming to his aid in his moment of crisis.

The last time I watched this movie, I had not seen it in quite a while and I found myself with tears in my eyes at the end of it.

It was then that I realized that God puts us where He wants us to be.

It is up to us to navigate around the pitfalls of life caused by our own Free Will by using the Gift of Discernment which we have been blessed with and by listening to that Still Small Voice which resides within each and every one of us.

Each and every one of us can make a difference within our own sphere of influence.

However, there remains only One who walked this Earth in human form who is still making a difference and whose birth we celebrate  tonight and tomorrow.

What is Causing All of This Hatred and Violence?

I hope that you are having a very restful and blessed Sunday morning. Here’s your quick thought for today: As I turned on the news this morning to Fox and Friends, I was greeted with the news that an attack at a Hanukkah event in Australia has left 12 dead, including the suspect. This violence happening on top of the violence that happened during Finals in the Engineering Building at Brown University at 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. Brown University is Ivy League school located in Providence, Rhode island. It has a number of Jewish students. They have detained a person of interest this morning but they have not given a motive yet for that violent act which left two dead and several wounded. These premeditated acts of violence got me to thinking about how much hatred there is in the world. Some of it is racial hatred. Some of it is ideological hatred. And, some of it is religious hatred. Hatred for others can be caused by many things. It can be caused by the way you are raised or lack thereof. It can be caused by your peer group, in other words, those who associate yourself with. It can be caused by propaganda. It can lead to individual acts of violence, group violence, or societal violence. That is what America is dealing with today. Our once proud and beautiful major cities have become War Zones thanks to open borders, societal pressures, political propaganda, and poor upbringing. President Trump and those who are trying their best to deal with this are starting to be relatively successful. However, the fact of the matter is that they are not simply dealing with physical violence. Our country is fighting a war against “Princes and “Principalities”, those with craven hearts and minds who have allowed the voices in their heads to tell them to hate somebody without even knowing them. My brother-in-christ, Gene, keeps reminding me that things aren’t going to turn around until there’s a movement back to God in this country and others. He’s right. That’s why the recent movements to Christianity among our college-age young people is heartening. What we are called to do as Christian Americans, is to stand for those things which are right and just, to pray for others, and to lead our children and grandchildren in the way in which they should go. Sunday Morning Thoughts: Illegals and the Nativity

“ICE acting Director Todd Lyons, as well as the Archdiocese of Boston, are calling for the removal of an “ICE was here” sign that was placed at a Nativity scene at a Massachusetts church.

“The actions of the activist reverend, Stephen Josoma, are absolutely abhorrent and add to a dangerous narrative responsible for a more than 1,150% increase in assaults on ICE officers,” Lyons told Fox News Digital in a statement.

A Nativity scene at St. Susanna Parish in Dedham, a suburb of Boston, shows an empty manger with a sign reading “ICE was here,” along with contact information for a group that monitors immigration enforcement in Massachusetts.

Rev. Stephen Josoma, the pastor at St. Susanna, said the church’s peace and justice group organizes a display annually. Josoma told Fox News that they, “try to see what would it be like if Christ was born into the context of the world today, what would he be facing?” (Courtesy FoxNews.com)

Growing up, I can remember that the Nativity Scene was among the first things that we put out when decorating the house for Christmas. Being a Christian family, it was our way of honoring the birth of God’s Son. My parents’ politics, which by the way were Southern Democrat, that is before Reagan, had nothing to do with it. Far left nut jobs like this Activist Priest, think nothing of blaspheming Jesus Christ and his mission on Earth by rewriting it and ignoring the fact that we are told to “Give unto Caesar that which is Caesars and unto God that which is God’s.” It is the introduction of man’s politics and preferences that has led to Americans electing not to go to church anymore. Man’s heart hungers for the Word of God. The rest of the week we are bombarded by what people like this political activist who desecrated the Nativity Scene want. Man’s heart aches to know what God wants. Illegal immigrants are not migrants. They have chosen to enter this country illegally in order to acquire the blessings of being an American with none of the responsibilities while continuing to wave the flag of the country they came from. That is nothing to be honored or accepted. There is a right way and a wrong way to do everything. This Illegal Invasion which our country is experiencing is the wrong way and that nut job activist should be defrocked. Have a blessed and restful Sunday.
