Socialism in America Vs. the Real “Reason for the Season”

washington

I began writing my daily articles in April of 2010.

Over eight and one-half years later, the struggle to prevent Liberals from rewriting our nation’s history continues…as does the fight to keep the greed and avarice of those promoting the installment of Marxist Theory in our political, medical, and religious institutions from consuming our nation in a fire of self-destruction, as it has other nations before us.

As we Americans begin to get our Christmas Decorations out of their boxes and tubs and start buying presents for family and friends, I can’t help to think about the “Reason for the Season” and the “State of the Union” as it relates to Jesus Christ.

Friends have asked me if I believe that Christ would be in favor of the “Social Justice” movement that has infiltrated some churches in America, replacing Christian Doctrine with a Modern Liberal Political Agenda.

In order for you to understand how I and the overwhelming majority of Americans living here in the Heartland feel about that question, I believe you first need a working knowledge as to whom Jesus was.

As some of you know, I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. The following piece was written in 1912 by the editor of the Commercial Appeal in Memphis, Tennessee, C.P.J. Mooney. Since then, it has remained so popular, that the newspaper has published it on their Op Ed page every year at Christmas.

JESUS, THE PERFECT MAN

There is no other character in history like that of Jesus.

As a preacher, as a doer of things, and as a philosopher, no man ever had the sweep and the vision of Jesus.

A human analysis of the human actions of Jesus brings to view a rule of life that is amazing in its perfect detail.

The system of ethics Jesus taught during His Earthly sojourn 2,000 years ago was true then, has been true in every century since and will be true forever.

Plato was a great thinker and learned in his age, but his teachings did not stand the test of time. In big things and in little things time and human experience have shown that he erred.

Marcus Aurelius touched the reflective mind of the world, but he was as cold and austere as brown marble. …

Thomas a Kempis’ Imitation of Christ is a thing of rare beauty and sympathy, but it is, as its name indicates, only an imitation.

Sir Thomas More’s Utopia is yet a dream that cannot be realized.

Lord Bacon writing on chemistry and medicine under the glasses of the man working in a 20th century laboratory is puerile.

The world’s most learned doctors until 150 years ago gave dragon’s blood and ground tails of lizards and shells of eggs for certain ailments. The great surgeons a hundred years ago bled a man if he were wounded.

Napoleon had the world at his feet for four years, and when he died the world was going on its way as if he had never lived.

JESUS TAUGHT little as to property because He knew there were things of more importance than property. He measured property and life, the body and soul, at their exact relative value. He taught much more as to character, because character is of more importance than dollars.

Other men taught us to develop systems of government. Jesus taught so as to perfect the minds of men. Jesus looked to the soul, while other men dwelled on material things.

After the experience of 2,000 years no man can find a flaw in the governmental system outlined by Jesus.

Czar and kaiser, president and socialist, give to its complete merit their admiration.

No man today, no matter whether he follows the doctrine of Mill, Marx or George as to property, can find a false principle in Jesus’s theory of property.

In the duty of a man to his fellow, no sociologist has ever approximated the perfection of the doctrine laid down by Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount.

Not all the investigations of chemists, not all the discoveries of explorers, not all the experiences of rulers, not all the historical facts that go to make up the sum of human knowledge on this day in 1912 are in contradiction to one word uttered or one principle laid down by Jesus.

The human experiences of 2,000 years show that Jesus never made a mistake. Jesus never uttered a doctrine that was true at that time and then became obsolete.

Jesus spoke the truth, and the truth is eternal.

History has no record of any other man leading a perfect life or doing everything in logical order. Jesus is the only person whose every action and whose every utterance strike a true note in the heart and mind of every man born of woman. He never said a foolish thing, never did a foolish act and never dissembled.

No poet, no dreamer, no philosopher loved humanity with all the love that Jesus bore toward all men.

WHO, THEN, was Jesus?

He could not have been merely a man, for there never was a man who had two consecutive thoughts absolute in truthful perfection.

Jesus must have been what Christendom proclaims Him to be — a divine being — or He could not have been what He was. No mind but an infinite mind could have left behind those things which Jesus gave the world as a heritage.

No, I do not believe that Jesus would be a part of the social justice movement. His was and is a soul-saving movement. One that still brings hundreds of thousand of people to individual salvation on this terrestrial ball every day. A movement that, in fact, was embraced by the founders of this cherished land.

In a opinion piece for ChristianPost.com, Christian Talk Show Host Julie Roys gave the following Five Reasons that Socialism itself is not based on  the teachings of Jesus Christ.

1. Socialism is Based on a Materialistic Worldview

According to socialists like Bernie Sanders, the greatest problem in the world is the unequal distribution of wealth.

His website declares: “The issue of wealth and income inequality is the great moral issue of our time, it is the great economic issue of our time, and it is the great political issue of our time.”

This betrays a fundamentally materialistic worldview, which is the basis of socialism.

To socialists, all that really exists is the material world.

2. Socialism Punishes Virtue

Socialists want to distribute wealth to individuals according to their need, regardless of virtue.

As Karl Marx, famously said, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

However, whenever any institution provides aid, it runs the risk of removing God-designed rewards and consequences. It can punish those who are industrious by making them pay for those who are not. And, it can reward those who aren’t industrious by giving them the fruits of another man’s labor. This is precisely what socialism does.

Interestingly, Marx mooched off others his whole life, and failed to provide for his wife and children.

As Aristotle once noted, “Men start revolutionary changes for reasons connected with their private lives.”

The Bible teaches that aid should be tied to responsibility. First, anyone who refuses to work should be refused aid.

3. Socialism Endorses Stealing

Barack Obama once defended his socialist policies to a little girl by saying, “We’ve got to make sure that people who have more money help the people who have less money. If you had a whole pizza, and your friend had no pizza, would you give him a slice?”

That sounds pretty Christian, right? What Christian wouldn’t endorse sharing your abundance with someone who has nothing? However, Obama wasn’t endorsing people voluntarily sharing their wealth with others; he was endorsing the government forcibly taking a piece of the pie from one person and giving it to someone else. Put another way, that’s saying that if you have three cars and your neighbor has none, the government has a right to take your car and give it to your neighbor. That’s not Christian; that’s stealing!

But, socialists don’t believe in private property. And, some Christian socialists actually assert that the Bible doesn’t either. That’s preposterous.

Both the Old Testament and New Testament unequivocally affirm private property. We can’t even obey the eighth commandment to not steal, unless we accept the notion of private ownership. Nor, can we steward our money as the Bible commands if the state owns our money, not us.

4. Socialism Encourages Envy and Class Warfare

Socialists demonize the rich, blaming all of society’s problems on them.

Bernie Sanders once posted to his Facebook Page: “Let us wage a moral and political war against the billionaires and corporate leaders on Wall Street and elsewhere, whose policies and greed are destroying the middle class of America.”

Here, Sanders is mimicking Karl Marx, who viewed history as a series of class struggles between the rich and the poor — and advocated overthrowing the ruling class.

Scripture strongly warns the rich and powerful not to oppress the poor.

In fact, Proverbs 14:31 says, “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for his maker . . .”

But, Sanders — and other Leftists, including Hillary Clinton — go far beyond decrying specific acts of injustice. They basically condemn an entire class of people simply for possessing wealth. And, they encourage those who are poor to overthrow them. In fact, Clinton once said the U.S. economy required a “toppling” of the wealthiest 1%.

The rich are not causing all the problems in American society. People like Bill Gates are not acquiring wealth by stealing from the masses. They’re creating great products, which produce wealth, and actually provide jobs for many people. But, even if they were exploiting the poor, nowhere does Scripture support the have-nots demanding money from the haves. Instead, it teaches that we should not covet (Exodus 20:17) and should be content in all circumstances (Phil. 4:11-13).

5. Socialism Seeks to Destroy Marriage & Family

A little known fact about socialism is that, from its beginning, it has sought to destroy marriage and family. Grove City Professor Paul Kengor explains this in detail in his book, Takedown: From Communists to Progressives, How the Left Has Sabotaged Marriage and Family. Essentially, what socialism seeks is for the state to replace the family. That way, it can indoctrinate children in its Leftist way of thinking, and remove from them any notions of God and religion.

Friedrich Engels, co-author with Marx of the “The Communist Manifesto,” once wrote that the society he envisioned would be one where “the single family ceases to be the economic unit of society. Private housekeeping is transformed into a social industry. The care and education of the children becomes a public affair.”

Similarly today, Bernie Sanders calls for a “revolution” in childcare and for the government to provide early childhood education beginning with children as young as six-weeks-old. And, he’s a proud supporter of gay marriage — what Kengor calls “communism’s Trojan Horse” to secure the final takedown of traditional marriage.

To socialists, what Bernie describes is a utopia. But, to Christians, it’s a dystopia. That’s because there’s nothing Christian about socialism — and there’s absolutely no way Jesus would ever support it.

America was not founded to be a Socialist Nation.

The following is courtesy of adherents.com:

There were 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence. There were 48 signers of the Articles of Confederation. All 55 delegates who participated in the Constitutional Convention of 1787 are regarded as Founding Fathers, in fact, they are often regarded as the Founding Fathers because it is this group that actually debated, drafted and signed the U.S. Constitution, which is the basis for the country’s political and legal system. Only 39 delegates actually signed the document, however, meaning there were 16 non-signing delegates – individuals who were Constitutional Convention delegates but were not signers of the Constitution.

There were 95 Senators and Representatives in the First Federal Congress. If one combines the total number of signatures on the Declaration, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution with the non-signing Constitutional Convention delegates, and then adds to that sum the number of congressmen in the First Federal Congress, one obtains a total of 238 “slots” or “positions” in these groups which one can classify as “Founding Fathers” of the United States. Because 40 individuals had multiple roles (they signed multiple documents and/or also served in the First Federal Congress), there are 204 unique individuals in this group of “Founding Fathers.” These are the people who did one or more of the following:

– signed the Declaration of Independence
– signed the Articles of Confederation
– attended the Constitutional Convention of 1787
– signed the Constitution of the United States of America
– served as Senators in the First Federal Congress (1789-1791)
– served as U.S. Representatives in the First Federal Congress

The religious affiliations of these individuals are summarized below. Obviously this is a very restrictive set of names, and does not include everyone who could be considered an “American Founding Father.” But most of the major figures that people generally think of in this context are included using these criteria, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, John Hancock, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and more.

The Founding Fathers were, without a doubt, aware of the following passage:

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. – 2 Corinthians 3:17

The Liberals and Atheists who reply to my daily articles, after they view them on SpartaReport.com, my personal blog site, and on Facebook, insist that Crosses and other Christian symbols have no place in the Public Square.  They wish for Christians to remain unseen and unheard from, worshiping in private, and for Christian Americans to  “compromise” our Faith…i.e., shut up about Homosexual Marriage and other sins,  being used as political expediencies to further an agenda to “radically change” America into something that it was never meant to be.

Well,  y’all can wish for a unicorn to magically appear in your backyard…but that ain’t gonna happen, either.

As a free nation, all you who are non-believers have every right to exercise your faith.

However, as Orthodox Rabbi Daniel Lapin of the Jewish Policy Center clearly explains:

[I] understand that I live . . . in a Christian nation, albeit one where I can follow my faith as long as it doesn’t conflict with the nation’s principles. The same option is open to all Americans and will be available only as long as this nation’s Christian roots are acknowledged and honored.

…Without a vibrant and vital Christianity, America is doomed, and without America, the west is doomed. Which is why I, an Orthodox Jewish rabbi, devoted to Jewish survival, the Torah, and Israel am so terrified of American Christianity caving in. God help Jews if America ever becomes a post-Christian society! Just think of Europe!

Is the Rabbi prophetic? I pray that he isn’t.

I have, however, noticed in the last few years, a propensity among those who have not been raised in a Christian home, to be intolerant toward those who have…as witnessed in public forms, ranging from Collegiate Classrooms to Facebook Political Pages.

Americans’ Christian Faith, of which approximately 3/4ths of us, according to Gallup, still anchor our lives around, has been the Solid Rock upon which our nation was built. To deny that, is to deny reality, to re-write history, and, to, quite frankly, endanger “the Shining City on a Hill”.

To put it bluntly…

The “Reason for the Season” is The Reason American Exists.

As President Ronald Reagan said,

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

That being said, isn’t it interesting that those among us who claim to be the most tolerant are actually the least tolerant of all?

And, those who claim to be champions of “personal freedom” are enemies of the religious freedom secured for us in the United States Constitution?

Watch the political maneuvering up on Capitol Hill after the Democrats take over the House of Representatives and see who talks about Freedom and Responsibility and who talks about the right of “citizens”, both legal and illegal, to “free stuff” like “socialized medicine”.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. – Matthew 7:20

In closing, be of good cheer and remember the words of a great old Christmas Hymn…

There is a Great Joy a’coming!

Hyde-Smith Wins MS Senate Seat, in Spite of Soros’ Funding of Espy

Cindy Hyde-Smith, Donald Trump

Last night, around 9:30 p.m. Central, politico.com reported that

Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith has won Mississippi’s Senate runoff, defeating Democrat Mike Espy despite controversy over recent comments. Hyde-Smith had 56 percent of the vote to Espy’s 44 percent when the Associated Press called the race with more than three-quarters of all precincts reporting. The result means Republicans will hold a 53-47 majority in the Senate next year.

The runoff for the remainder of Thad Cochran’s term was held because neither candidate got a majority of the vote in a crowded race Nov. 6. Since then, Hyde-Smith has drawn scrutiny for saying she would attend a “public hanging” for a supporter, before apologizing and calling the comment an exaggerated form of regard.

Hyde-Smith faced an unusually energetic special election challenge from Espy, a former congressman and Clinton-era agriculture secretary who inspired slim Democratic hopes of repeating the party’s miraculous Senate victory in Alabama last year, as Hyde-Smith faced a storm of controversy over recent remarks about attending a “public hanging.”

Espy, who is African-American, called Hyde-Smith’s “public hanging” comments a “black eye” for the state. Hyde-Smith ultimately apologized to “anyone offended” by her remarks, which she said were an exaggerated form of regard for a supporter. But the comments, which some viewed as connected to Mississippi’s history of lynching, brought unexpected scrutiny to Hyde-Smith, putting Republicans on edge even in a state that hasn’t elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1982.

President Donald Trump visited the state Monday in an attempt to make sure GOP voters are engaged for the runoff.

“Don’t take any chances,” Trump implored supporters at the first of two rallies. “You have to vote. We cannot allow Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to erode [GOP control of the Senate] by winning the great state of Mississippi.”

Hyde-Smith’s victory makes her the first woman elected to represent Mississippi in the Senate.

Hyde-Smith’s victory was not an easy one.

Guess who attempted to come to the rescue of the disgraced and indicted Former Secretary of Agriculture under Bill “Bubba” Clinton?

Earlier in the day, Breitbart.com reported that

Organizations financed by George Soros are making a last-ditch effort to get Mississippi Senate candidate Mike Espy elected in today’s runoff race.
Soros himself donated $10,800 to Espy’s senatorial campaign via the billionaire activist’s Soros Fund Management.

MoveOn.org, which has been massively backed by Soros, has organized a phone bank and a number of other iniatives to mobilize voters for Espy. “We need to contact every person on this list to make sure they vote in the Nov. 27 runoff!” exclaimed the radical organization on its website.

Besides funding from Soros, MoveOn.org has also been financed by the Tides Foundation, a leftwing sponsorship organization that has itself received donations from Soros and has partnered with Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

Over at Color of Change, another group financially backed by Soros, supporters are being urged to vote for Espy.

One organization that has been particularly active in helping to mobilize voters is The Collective, a little-known but increasingly influential political organization that says it is seeking to build a “black political power” movement in the U.S.

Breitbart News reported in September that Soros is a financial contributor to The Collective.

The group officially endorsed Espy in the Senate race and has been helping to drive voters to the polls, including with a text-messaging program.

On November 20th, I wrote about the “Robo-calling” on behalf of Mike Espy by an organization named Open Progress, a 501 non-profit with a very profitable Get-Out-The-Vote business named OPro By Open Progress LLC.

Open Progress’ co-founder is Elizabeth Haynes, Founder and President of a specialist market research and analytics firm which employs a data-driven approach to solving questions in the consumer, retail, and media sectors for the buy-side.

Open Progress worked on both the Doug Jones Campaign in Alabama and the Conor Lamb Campaign in Pennsylvania.

As the Church Lady would say, “Isn’t that special?”

Well, as one of my favorite old hymn’s title would suggest, “Bless Be the Tie That Binds”.

Coming full circle, now we know who paid for all of that “Robo-calling” and “Robo-texting” to Mississippi Voters.

The Puppet Master himself, George Soros, was once again pulling the strings of a Democratic Candidate.

However, this time, the voters chose their own Senator, not one buoyed by a bunch of Democratic “Carpetbaggers” who didn’t even live in the Magnolia State, much less give a darn about its citizens.

President Trump, as he had been already doing during his MAGA Rallies before the Midterm Election, reminded Mississippi Voters of the reason why they needed to prevent another Washington Insider from going up to the Capitol on their behalf.

He also reminded all of us down here why we voted for him.

Trump does not use flowery phrasing. Nor does he speak in platitudes while employing circuitous logic to attempt to make a point.

He simply tells it like it is, speaking to Americans as a friend would, not as a scolding martinet of a teacher, as the Democrats do.

Last night was a great night for Mississippi.

The Good Guys won.

The MS Senatorial Runoff Election – Of Memphis Democrats, Robo -Texting, and “Open Progress”

Screen-Shot-2018-11-06-at-10.23.25-PM

On Tuesday, November 27th, there will be a special Runoff Election for Thad Cochran’s former Senate Seat in Mississippi between Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith and Former Clinton Secretary of Agriculture Mike Espy.

Living in the Northwest Corner of the Magnolia State, I have a very special interest in this race. And, being the political junkie that I am, my ears perked up when I came across this story posted about a week ago by the Memphis NBC Affiliate, WMC-TV…

Democrat Mike Espy might be getting some help from across the state line in his bid to defeat Republican Cindy Hyde Smith in a runoff election for US Senate in Mississippi in two weeks.

Corey Strong is chairman of the Shelby County Democratic Party, a party that likely will be working in Mississippi until a runoff election for US Senate on November 27.

“North Mississippi and Memphis are connected at the hip,” Strong said.

Strong said Shelby County Democratic leaders met with Mike Espy’s team Monday and have already been phone banking and writing post cards to try and secure a victory.

“We are looking at potentially having a day of action for members of Shelby County and a concerted effort to go down and support Mike Espy in that race,” Strong said.

Shelby County Democrats were successful this year in a sweep in August of county-wide offices.

“Shelby County Democrats have really come a long way,” said WMC Action News 5 political analyst Michael Nelson. “Certainly their advice or assistance can’t help but benefit Espy in some way.”

Hyde-Smith was appointed by Governor Phil Bryant earlier this year and secured the endorsement of President Donald Trump.

“Connected at the hip”, you say?

Well, that’s only because Northwest Mississippi is populated by Former Memphians, like myself, who were invited to leave our Hometown by Former Democrat Mayor W.W. (Willie) Herenton, who was a crooked as a dog’s hind leg.

But, I digress.

About the “phone banking” mentioned in the above article…

Yesterday afternoon, while I was at work, I received, in error, a text message directed at my wife from an organization named Open Progress, asking her who she was going to vote for and asking her to vote for Mike Espy. I texted back asking them to not contact this number again.

Who is “Open Progress”? I’m glad you asked.

One part of the organization is a 501 Non-Profit.

The other part is VERY profitable.

According to their website, openprogress.com,

Open Progress created OPro by Open Progress LLC to serve the needs of candidates that traditional agencies serve poorly.

We have no interest in hoarding our knowledge — Our goal is to empower great progressive candidates and campaigns with a strong digital vocabulary, sophisticated methods, and exceptional data.

OPro cuts the clutter of traditional communications like direct mail, robocalls, and TV ads. All of these methods are expensive and, data show, minimally effective. Instead, we utilize modern, efficient, and effective ways of reaching people. These include on-point social media strategies, human-to-human texting campaigns, and exceptional volunteer recruitment and utilization techniques. We’re passionate about both demystifying social media strategies and empowering our candidates and campaign managers with them. By building better and more transparent digital coalitions, campaigns can focus on getting their message out to voters, not just chasing donors.

When it comes to texting, we believe that real conversations are what change hearts and minds. By engaging in direct discussions, committing to finding answers when we don’t have them, and really taking time to listen, our texters are given the ability to create real change. With efficient and precise data collection, moreover, we allow for future gains for our campaigns. What we learn about voters isn’t left on the cutting room floor, but stored for use in the next election. Our 2,000-member (and growing!) Text Troop gives you the means to reach more people than knocking on doors or calling phones ever could. Not only do we create new human connections, we make sure they’re for keeps.

So, just what is this “Text Troop”? Again, per openprogress.com,

The Open Progress Text Troop is a diverse community of committed volunteers from across the country who are engaging in issue-focused conversations with voters via person-to-person text messages. We encourage citizens across the country, whether English or Spanish-speaking, to register to vote. We even work to persuade and identify their support for our causes and candidates. We also help them find their polling locations. Our volunteers are trained by the best in order to create rich conversations with a better informed electorate. And we want YOU to join us!

Worried you don’t have time? Even just 2 hours a week will allow you reach 1000 people.

So, gentle readers, let me break this down for you. A Former Secretary of Agriculture under Bubba Clinton has the whole weight of the Democratic Party at his disposal leading to a bunch of outside political hacks and celebrities becoming involved in a Senatorial Race in Mississippi.

…Just like failed Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Stacey Abrams had behind her in Georgia.

Cindy Hyde-Smith has a fight on her hands.

Gosh. I wonder who could advocate for her against the Democrats?

Oh, wait!

President Trump is going to be holding two more rallies in Mississippi before next Tuesday’s runoff.

Pass the popcorn.

This is getting good.

Until He Comes,

Why Did the Republicans Lose the House?

Elephant question

Why did the Republican Party lose their majority in the House of Representatives?

It is an interesting question. Let’s try to figure out an answer.

With less than a month to go before the Midterm Elections, OpenSecrets.org reported that Republican Funding Sources had begun to pull their backing from certain candidates.

While this is a normal practice as election day nears, it signals that Republican groups are scrambling to move funds to districts where their dollars will count more — even though many of the abandoned campaigns are in Republican-leaning districts. “It’s highly unusual for the party to pull money from an incumbent,” Billet said. “Incumbents generally have a better advantage in subsequent elections, but this is one where they may not. That makes it doubly unusual for them to be pulling money from these races.”

Meanwhile, Democratic funding has yet to abandon any races in Democrat-leaning districts. Democratic candidates have been polling well and raising lots of money, Billet said.

CLF, a super PAC backed by major Republican donors, is spending far more this election cycle than the NRCC. CLF is relatively new to conservative political funding. When it formed in 2012, it only spent money on a handful of races.

So far this cycle, CLF spent $87 million on 51 races, averaging $1.7 million spent per race. Meanwhile, the NRCC spent $47.4 million on 33 races.

This is dramatically different from the groups’ spending just two years ago. The NRCC more than doubled CLF in 2016, doling out $39.7 million to CLF’s $14.3 million.

On the other side, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has spent nearly the same amount as the NRCC. So far, DCCC spent $60.4 million on 53 races, which is more than what the committee spent in 2016.

“People are making tough decisions now when resources are extra tight,” Billet said. “They have to do it now to make sure that the money they shift around has an impact. [Republicans] are really concerned, maybe close to desperate to hang on to the majority in the House.”

The NRCC and CLF did not respond to requests to comment.

Of course.

However, the New York Times concluded that, like everything else, the loss of the House was Trump’s fault.

Even before Mr. Trump began thundering against an “invasion” from Latin America — spurning with finality the moderate swing voters that Republicans desperately needed — his party’s facade of election-year unity was crumbling.

Panic mounting, Republican factions began looking out for themselves: Mr. McCarthy, currying favor with the right as he positioned himself to succeed Mr. Ryan, revived a push to fund Mr. Trump’s border wall. On the weekend before the election, Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio, a far-right rival of Mr. McCarthy, began calling colleagues to gauge their interest in supporting him for minority leader in a Democratic-led House.

As Mr. Trump swallowed the already-faint Republican economic message with deafening appeals to right-wing nationalism, Republican campaign chiefs began expressing discomfort with his turn toward raw racial politics. Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado, head of the Republican Senate committee, expressed anxiety to allies that Mr. Trump’s obsession with a migrant caravan could harm his Senate re-election in 2020.

Among White House aides, improvisation and favor-trading overrode any semblance of political strategy. Even Vice President Mike Pence, aides noted, appeared less than deliberate in his approach: When conservative media began rippling with interest in John James, a long-shot Senate candidate in Michigan, Mr. Pence phoned the president from the state and urged him to campaign there. The same day, a public poll found Mr. James losing by 17 points to Senator Debbie Stabenow.

Johnny DeStefano, counselor to the president, told an associate he used “every ounce of capital” to keep Mr. Trump from visiting Michigan and other states where his party was sure to lose.

And in a move that baffled their political peers, both Mr. Pence and Mr. McCarthy visited Kansas City on the Friday before the election to campaign with Mr. Yoder, among other Republicans — more than a month after the N.R.C.C. concluded Mr. Yoder could not win.

Did you notice how the Times did not refer to him as “President Trump”?

That is because it is still too painful for them to even type the words out of a computer keyboard.

But, I digress.

It was not the President’s fault.

This country has never seen a sitting president work harder on behalf of Republican Candidates in a Midterm Election than Donald J. Trump did. His MAGA Rallies were phenomenal and truly fired up the Republican Base.

I feel like the loss of the House occurred for a couple of reasons.

The first one being that the Republican Founders pulled their money from candidates who were trailing with one month to go. While this is a normal practice in politics, we are not living in normal times. The Democrats stuck beside their losing candidates to the bitter end. The Republicans should have, also.

The second reason is more of an extrapolation than anything else.

After watching the graft and corruption of the Democrats in Arizona, George, and Florida in their post-election scrambling to “find” lost votes, one has to surmise that the Democrats’ corruption was also occurring in other states, as well.

I truly believe that the only way that the Republicans could have held on to their majority in the House of Republicans would have been to completely and unabashedly join the President on their Campaign Trail for Republican hopefuls in every state in the Union.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I saw a lot of excitement coming from the President. I even went and saw one of his rallies when he came to my state.

However, except for a select few, I did not see the Republican Hierarchy (Moderates) descend from Mount Olympus, I mean Capitol Hill, to push worthwhile candidates like John James, who was defeated by Debbie Stabenow in Michigan.

The Republican Elite are going to have to develop the “Eye of the Tiger” and go on the offensive against the Democrats for the next two years if they wish to regain control of the House in 2020.

It is time for those “Moderate Republicans” who haven’t before, to jump onto the Trump Train.

If all of the political shenanigans in Arizona, Georgia, and Florida 2018 were “trial runs” to see what the Democrats could get by with in the 2020 President Election, then we will need every single Republican Lawmaker on Capitol Hill to support President Trump in order to overcome future Democrat Corruption and secure the re-election of Donald J. Trump.

Because, as was just demonstrated, the Democrats will stick together even after Election Day, doing what ever they can in order to achieve victory, even if it means that…

One lies and the other swears to it.

Broward Misses Recount Deadline by 2 Minutes…An “Oops” or Was It Intentional?

snipes-600a-li

FoxNews.com reports that

A Broward election official said late Thursday that the county had uploaded the results of its recount two minutes after the state’s 3 p.m. deadline – making its machine recount tally void. Instead, the county’s results from last Tuesday’s election will stand until manual recount totals in the state’s closely contested Senate race come in Sunday at noon.

In another direct accusation of deliberate misconduct by Florida election officials, GOP Senate candidate Rick Scott’s campaign accused embattled Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes of intentionally submitting late results to invalidate them. In the recount, Scott’s Democratic opponent, incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson, lost more votes than Scott — a net gain of 779 for Scott.

The news of the bungled ballot count comes after Snipes boasted about never missing a deadline.

“We are excited to be at this point,” she said Thursday afternoon.

Later, Snipes acknowledged that “the results were in progress when I came out and made” that statement.

“An election like the one we just finished almost has so many moving parts and so many components,” Snipes said. “I’m pleased that we were able to accomplish what we did accomplish in the period of time that was available.”

Meanwhile, in the Florida governor’s race, Republican candidate Ron DeSantis holds a sizable 33,683-vote lead over Democrat Andrew Gillum following the machine recount, a margin high enough under state law to avoid a mandatory manual recount. Gillum, who gained only 1 vote on DeSantis in the recount, still has not conceded in the race.

As of the 3 p.m. deadline for a machine recount of three close statewide contests, nearly all of Florida’s 67 counties —except Palm Beach and Hillsborough counties — had reported updated results.

“Basically, I just worked my ass off for nothing,” said Joseph D’Alessandro, Broward County’s election planning and development director.

D’Alessandro said he had a hard time uploading the results because he wasn’t familiar with the website used to send them to the secretary of state.

“We uploaded to the state two minutes late so the state has chosen not to use our machine recount results,” D’Alessandro said in the surprise announcement. “They are going to use our first unofficial results as our second unofficial results.”

Broward has been under the microscope since the recount was ordered Saturday, and Thursday’s mistake is just the latest in a series of missteps for the largely Democratic county. Last week, a judge sided with Scott’s campaign in a lawsuit in which he alleged Snipes had violated state public records law and the Florida Constitution by withholding critical ballot information.

Earlier this year, a judge found that Snipes had illegally destroyed ballots in a 2016 congressional contest, leading the secretary of state’s office to assign election monitors to supervise her office.

“It would have been both surprising and shocking if they had actually started [the recount] on time and completed it on time,” Cathy Lerman, principal of the Lerman Law Firm in Florida, told Fox News.

…Since the recall was officially ordered on Saturday, Broward elections staff have had to sort through more than 3.5 million pages of ballots before they actually started to count votes. Several counties, like Miami-Dade, planned ahead and finished much faster than Broward.

…Now that the machine recount deadline has passed, counties will have until noon on Sunday Nov. 18 to submit results from a manual recount in the Senate race between Nelson and Scott.

“We have been the laughingstock of the world, election after election,” Judge Mark E. Walker, the Obama-appointed chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, said Thursday. “Yet we still chose not to fix it.”

There is a reason for that, Judge.

The Democrats do not want it fixed.

They are masters at “winning elections” by “any means necessary”.

Case in point, the 1991 Mayoral Election in my hometown of Memphis, TN

Willie Herenton is elected mayor – the first African-American elected mayor in Memphis history. Herenton upsets incumbent Dick Hackett by 142 votes, the closest margin in a mayor’s race under the mayor-council form of government, but not the closest in the much-longer history of Memphis mayoral elections under various forms of municipal government.

The election also sees the election of an African-American majority to the 13-member Memphis City Council. It is a tumultuous election night in which the vote count goes past midnight. The Shelby County Election Commission before and after this election had always released absentee votes first. In this case, the absentee vote totals are not added until the election day totals had been tabulated. The delay prompts several hundred Herenton supporters gathered at The Peabody to come to the Downtown offices of the election commission. They follow U.S. Rep. Harold Ford Sr., with a Hackett team of advisers arriving as well to oversee the absentee vote count. Herenton went on to become the longest-serving Memphis mayor, resigning July 30, 2009.

…with the FBI in the middle of a huge graft and corruption investigation of the Mayor and his Administration.

Under Herenton, the Memphis Municipal Government grew faster than Rosie O’Donnell at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

And, my hometown has never recovered.

The bad thing is…Dr. W.W. Herenton has announced that he plans to run for mayor again in the next election.

Do you see a pattern here, gentle readers?

Do you remember the word that Democrats have loved to use for decades now, “disenfranchised”?

Democrats use it to describe a group of American citizens whom they feel they are being left out of the mainstream or have had their rights violated, on purpose, usually by the big bad Republicans.

In the case of extending elections past Election Day, the Democrats use the word “disenfranchised” in order to make sure that every vote counts, even if they have to manufacture them.

The fact of the matter is that what the Democrats are doing by extending these elections and discovering new votes, does not make all voters equal, it gives the Democrats an unfair advantage.

The Democrats are actually disenfranchising those American citizens who have voted legally by showing up to the polls on Election Day or voting early.

Not that they care, of course.

Just as they did during the Kavanaugh Hearings, the Democratic Party, whether their actions in Florida Georgia, and Arizona are actually all part of a dry run to prepare for the 2020 Presidential Election or not, are showing Americans who they really are.

Democrats are not the party of the Middle Class anymore. Not by a long shot.

They are a political party of Far Left Socialists who believe in the words of the Russian Tyrant Joseph Stalin, who said,

“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

And that, gentle readers is the difference between Socialism and a Constitutional Republic. Under Marxism, those in power decide. Under our form of government, WE DECIDE.

Or, at least we are supposed to.

House Dems Claim They Have Enough Votes to Block Pelosi From Being Next Speaker

636160377412678144-AP-PELOSI-86770822

“I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat.” – Will Rogers

Yahoo.com/News reports that

As a steadfast Rep. Nancy Pelosi all but dared potential rivals for the gavel to come forward, a group of restive House Democrats vowed Wednesday to produce enough votes to block her from becoming the House’s new speaker. For two days now, disgruntled Democrats have claimed they have 17 names on a letter opposing Pelosi’s leadership, promising to air the document soon. They say those signing on are pledging to vote against the Californian when the full chamber elects the next speaker on Jan. 3.

Rep. Kathleen Rice, D-N.Y., confirmed the letter Tuesday, and an aide to an organizer of the effort said it stood at 17 names as of Wednesday. The aide was not authorized to discuss the letter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Pelosi, asked by a reporter about her message to rebellious colleagues, challenged them to put forward an alternate candidate for speaker.

“Come on in, the water’s warm,” she said.

Democrats seeking to block Pelosi argue it’s time to give younger Democrats a chance to rise to high-level posts. They also say that Republicans have done such a good job demonizing her in campaign ads that it’s hard for Democrats to be elected in closely contested, moderate districts.

No challenger to Pelosi has emerged, but the group agitating for changes at the top of party leadership says there would be plenty of candidates should her bid be derailed.

“The first step is showing that she cannot get to 218, and then I believe the challengers will emerge,” Rice told reporters. She said that would make new members “feel more comfortable that they’re not just taking a no vote just to take a no vote.”

But Pelosi is one of her party’s most productive fundraisers, energetic campaigners and respected legislative tacticians, giving her wide support that will make her difficult to topple.

“I will be speaker,” she said Wednesday.

While simple math would say the 17 names would be enough to deny Pelosi a majority, other factors are at play. To win on the floor, a speaker needs 218 votes, under typical circumstances, but with absences or members voting present, the tally is reduced. As of now, Democrats hold 229 seats and Republicans hold 198, but several races remain undecided, so the Democratic number could grow. That gives Pelosi a margin of about a dozen or more seats, assuming all Republicans vote against her as expected.

“We’ve got enough to ensure that she cannot become speaker,” said Rep. Kurt Schrader, D-Ore.

To paraphrase Chico Escuela (Garrett Morris) from when “Saturday Night Live” was actually funny…

“Congress been “bery, bery” good to Nancy Pelosi.”

Nancy Pelosi has a net worth of $120 million. Pelosi’s drastic growth, from an initial $21.7 million in 2009, is attributed to stock gains and smart investments. Her husband reported raking in $1 million to $5 million in 2010 from a sale of Apple stocks. The couple also has a commercial property in San Francisco and a home in St. Helena, California, each valued between $5 million and $25 million. She also has a stake in some valuable residential real estate in Sacramento. All rank-and-file members of Congress received salaries of $174,000 last year. As speaker in 2010, Pelosi was paid $223,500, and House and Senate majority and minority leaders garnered $193,400. In 2011, Pelosi’s husband Paul lost as much as $10 million on investments in the United Football League and the Sacramento Mountain Lions. He lost $1 million to $5 million investing in the league itself, and the same amount on the individual team.

About those “smart investments”…

Back in 2011, Steve Kroft interviewed her for 60 Minutes.

Why, he asked, had she and her husband participated in “a very large” initial public offering “from Visa at a time when there was major legislation affecting credit-card companies making its way through the House?”

The legislation in question, a bill introduced by then-Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers in March 2008, would have let merchants negotiate lower swipe fees with credit card companies.

The bill made it out of committee on Oct. 3, 2008, but never to the floor for a vote. A version of the swipe-fee bill made it into an amendment by Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., to the Dodd-Frank bill in 2010.

As the bill was proceeding, Pelosi’s husband, Paul, a wealthy San Francisco investor of the type the Occupy Wall Street mobs have targeted, bought $1 million to $5 million of Visa stock in three separate transactions in a part of the IPO that “60 Minutes” said was offered to a select group of investors.

Interestingly, the wealthy Pelosi has voiced support for the OWS mobs, calling them a genuine and spontaneous movement protesting the very financial wheeling and dealing that the great unwashed feel has victimized them. She gained the speaker’s gavel in 2006 while railing against an alleged GOP “culture of corruption.”

Pelosi is also a big fan of green energy. So is her brother-in-law, Ronald Pelosi, a senior executive with a company called Pacific Corporate Group.

Among PCG’s investments is SolarReserve, based in Santa Monica, Calif., which received a $737 million loan guarantee to build a 110-megawatt solar-thermal plant in Tonopah, Nev.

The loan was granted on the last day of the stimulus loan program, which also gave over half a billion to a failing but politically connected Solyndra.

While speaker, Pelosi was famous for her use of government aircraft to ferry back and forth from her San Francisco district.

According to documents obtained by Judicial Watch, Air Pelosi, as critics called the fleet, cost the taxpayers $28,210.51 per flight.

Her fondness for Boeing aircraft does not extend to supporting Boeing’s plan to create badly needed jobs in the right-to-work state of South Carolina.

As we have noted, she says if the plant is non-union, the National Labor Relations Board should shut the project down.

And, that is just one “investment opportunity”.

Yep. Pelosi is a devoted public servant, alright.

She’s devoted to those green pieces of paper with the pictures of Benjamin Franklin on them. (They probably dated.)

If you look at this logically, San Fran Nan should have stepped down a long, long time ago.

Not only has she and her husband made enough money from all of those “smart investments”, it is obvious that she is dealing with “health issues” which would impair her abilities as the Leader of the House.

She does not know what she is going to say before she says it.

While her possible excursion into dementia is sadly entertaining to watch on television, it certainly is not helpful in the conducting of America’s business on Capitol Hill.

However, Pelosi’s antics up on the Hill would be a Godsend for the Republicans in their campaign to re-elect President Trump.

And, the 30 second sound bites will flow like Niagara Falls.

I am sure that Pelosi’s baggage brought on by her advanced years are a great concern to those who oppose her as the next Speaker.

And, I am sure that many would join the ranks of those younger Democrats who are already speaking out against her.

The problem is: Pelosi “knows where all of the bodies are buried”.

Just like J. Edgar Hoover had his own set of files about public figures when he ruled the FBI with an iron first, Pelosi probably has a set of files about all of her Democrat colleagues and those behind the scenes who sponsor them.

These young firebrands who want to “dethrone” her have a lot to overcome in order to make it happen.

Either way it goes, it will be fun to watch.

The Never-Ending 2018 Midterm Election is Why America Needs Voter I.D. Cards

fraud-wave-600a-cdn

FoxNews.com reports that

With razor-thin margins in multiple Florida races being recounted, dueling protests, lawsuits, and unfounded allegations captured the confusion, frustration and all-out anger brewing in Broward County on Monday.

Florida has been back middle of a familiar nightmare after a recount was ordered in three races. Florida law mandates that any election decided by 0.5 percent or less will trigger a recount. Three in the Sunshine State fit the bill – with two being in the national spotlight.

The Senate race is perhaps the most contentious. Republican challenger Gov. Rick Scott declared victory Tuesday night, but incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson never conceded the race. According to the Florida Division of Elections’ website, total votes show Scott with 50.07 percent of the ballots counted to Nelson’s 49.92 percent.

In the governor’s race, unofficial results show that Republican former Rep. Ron DeSantis led Democratic Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum by 0.41 percentage points.

Officials here spent much of the day rushing to catch up to Miami-Dade County following a Sunday glitch – a machine wasn’t registering all the ballots when it was tested – that delayed the recount process by about three hours.

By mid-afternoon Monday, Miami-Dade was about halfway through their recount process while Broward was just getting started. Much of the blame fell on the shoulders of Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes, who has a history of election missteps that even her supporters labeled amateurish at best.

Protesters carried signs that read, “Corrupt Snipes!!! Lock Her Up!,” “Busted Brenda” and “I trust (Michael) Avenatti more than Brenda!” while shouting at election officials, counter-protesters and the news media.

“Brenda needs to be fired! She needs to go! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” screamed Lois Healy, a New Jersey retiree living in southern Florida. “She can’t hide from us! I hate that woman.”

Another yelled into a bullhorn, “Supervisor of corruption! Show your face!”

Several others Fox News spoke to demanded Snipes, a Talladega, Alabama, native who has lived in Florida since 1964, be fired. A few went a step further and said she should be indicted.

“She needs to go,” one man wearing a Trump T-shirt said. The president has himself said Snipes “has had a horrible history.” President Trump also weighed in on the recount Monday, urging the state to go with election night results and called the ballots in question “massively infected” but did not provide any details.

The Snipes debate seemed to saturate much of the conversation in Broward, spilling out onto the streets near downtown Fort Lauderdale.

“I don’t care about her past,” Robyn White told Fox News. “Every vote needs to be counted. Every single one. Those people (protesting) – God bless them, but no.”

Over at the courthouse, lawyers on behalf of candidates duked it as the demands and lawsuits piled up. Nelson called on Scott to recuse himself from having anything to do with the recount. The incumbent senator did score a win after Circuit Chief Judge Jack Tuter said he saw no wrongdoing in the vote-counting and denied Scott’s request to seize voting machines. Though Tuter asked both sides to “ramp down the rhetoric” to reassure citizens that the integrity of the recount is being protected, that didn’t seem to sway many people.

There were other troubling signs about the recount Monday.

The Miami Herald reported that an election official in Bay County said he allowed some displaced voters to cast ballots by email or fax though there are no rules that allow for it in state law.

Bay County Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen told the newspaper he accepted 11 ballots by email and 147 by fax – something that’s only allowed for voters overseas. It is unclear what the fallout – if any – will be from the admission.

Andersen said that the email and faxed ballots were verified by signature and that voters were required to sign an oath before submitting the documents.

“If I can validate it with a signature, the ballot is there, how is that different than a ballot that comes in through the post office?”

And as the state scrambles to meet its Thursday recount deadline, it’s also dealing with unfounded allegations that a box of Broward County ballots was found at the Fort Lauderdale airport Sunday night.

What a mess.

The country hasn’t seen this much corruption in one county since…well, since Broward Country attempted voter fraud in 2016 and, before that, in 2000 with Bush vs. Gore and the “hanging chads”.

Before Trump was president, Republicans brought up the subject of required Voter Identification in order for American Citizens to exercise their Constitutional Right to Vote.

Of course, the Democrats hollered that it was some sort of Civil Rights Violation, which made every sane person in the country scratch their heads while wondering what the Dems were smoking.

Heck, the Democrat’s lawyers who were sent down to Broward County to “clear up” this fiasco want illegal aliens’ votes counted!

What the heck were illegals doing voting in an American Midterm Election?

The Democrats’ quest for more voters to support their minority political ideology transcends such “passe” concepts as right and wrong, legal and illegal.

And, that is their reasoning when it comes to giving those who have broken into our country the same rights as law-abiding citizens, including the right to vote in American Elections.

Looking at the political shenanigans going on in Arizona, Georgia, and Florida, do you now understand why the Democrats have fought against Voter I.D. Cards so ferociously?

A Voter I.D. would spoil the plans of the Democratic Party Leadership.

Remember, their Chairman is a Hispanic Political Activist.

In my state, even if you cannot drive, you can still get a state identification.

There is nothing to it and it comes in useful for all sorts of things where you need an I.D., even purchasing a cellphone and service plan.

Trump is absolutely right.

I.D.’s are a part of the overwhelming majority of Americans’ everyday lives.

The only reason to intentionally not carry one would be if you do not want to be identified because you’re breaking the law in some form or fashion…such as being in this Sovereign Nation illegally.

The right to vote in American Elections should remain as it always has been: a right enjoyed by American Citizens Only.

Allowing illegals to vote is rewarding them for not having enough respect for America to enter our country in a legal manner.

It is the wrong thing to do….just like “finding votes” after the election is.

What is happening in Broward County and Georgia, and the conclusion of the Arizona Senate Race is simply WRONG.

It is something that one would expect in a Third World Socialist Country like Venezuela…not the United States of America.

This needs to be dealt with and stopped now…for the sake of our Constitutional Republic

Rick Scott Files Suit Over Possible Election Fraud By Democrats

100710RickScott-2_566426c

FoxNews.com reports that

Accusing Democrats of a coordinated effort to “steal the election,” Republican Senate candidate Rick Scott filed explosive lawsuits late Thursday against the top election officials in two heavily Democratic counties, as three major races in the state appeared headed for recounts and votes continue to be tallied.

In his lawsuit against Broward County, Scott and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) allege that officials there are continuing to hide critical information about the number of votes cast and counted. And in a parallel suit against Palm Beach County, Scott and the NRSC charge that the election supervisor illegally used her own judgment to determine voter intent when reviewing damaged absentee ballots.

“I will not stand idly by while unethical liberals try to steal an election,” Scott said at a press conference outside the Governor’s Mansion, as he slammed potential “rampant fraud” in the race.

The bombshell litigation comes hours after Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio, in an extraordinary series of tweets that alleged incompetence if not outright complicity by Florida officials, charged that Democratic lawyers were “descending on” the state in a calculated attempt to “change the results” and “try and steal” several statewide races.

…”Late Tuesday night, our win was projected to be around 57,000 votes,” Scott, who is currently Florida’s governor, told reporters. “By Wednesday morning, that lead dropped to 38,000. By Wednesday evening, it was around 30,000. This morning, it was around 21,000. Now, it is 15,000.”

He continued: “On election night, Broward County said there were 634,000 votes cast. At 1 a.m. today, there were 695,700 ballots cast on election day. At 2:30 p.m. today, the number was up to 707,223 ballots cast on Election Day. And we just learned, that the number has increased to 712,840 ballots cast on election day. In Palm Beach County, there are 15,000 new votes found since election night.

“So, it has been over 48 hours since the polls closed and Broward and Palm Beach Counties are still finding and counting ballots – and the Supervisors – Brenda Snipes and Susan Bucher – cannot seem to say how many ballots still exist or where these ballots came from, or where they have been,” Scott said.

A recount now appears imminent not only in Scott’s race, but also in the agricultural commissioner race and Florida’s high-profile gubernatorial contest between Democrat Andrew Gillum and Republican Ron DeSantis, based on new vote totals — even though Gillum has already conceded.

Speaking to Fox News’ “Hannity” Thursday night, Scott said, “we don’t know how many votes they’re gonna come up with. But it seems they’re going to try to come up with as many votes as it takes to win this election. … We’re gonna fight this, and we’re gonna win.”

Earlier in the evening, he was just as direct: “No rag tag group of liberal activists or lawyers from D.C. will be allowed to steal this election from the voters in the state of Florida,” he said outside his home.

…And, that is exactly what is happening…not only in Florida, but in Georgia and Arizona, as well.

The Democratic Party’s insatiable thirst for power at any price has driven them for several decades to attempt to usurp the will of the American People via Judicial Activism.

Whether it is threatening legal action or a citywide riot, as Harold Ford, Sr. did the night that former Memphis City School s Board President W.W. Herenton narrowly defeated incumbent Mayor Dick Hackett in a controversial fashion to become the city’s first black Mayor, Democrats demand to “win” elections, even when they don’t.

Recounts in Broward County are nothing new.

Remember the Presidential Election of 2000 featuring the Democrats’ Al Gore vs. George W. Bush?

Per USNews.com,

At 3 a.m. on November 8, Gore conceded to Bush when he pulled 50,000 votes ahead and broadcasters put Florida’s 25 electoral votes into the Republican’s win column. But within two hours, Bush’s lead in the state had shrunk and the small margin triggered an automatic recount under Florida law. Overnight, concerns about voting irregularities emerged in places like Palm Beach County, where a punch-card ballot with a format that was easily misread resulted in many disqualified votes.

Later on November 9, Gore’s team demanded a manual recount in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Volusia counties. News outlets carried images of Florida election officials staring at hanging, dimpled, and pregnant chads on Florida’s punch-card ballots, trying to “discern the intent” of the voters. Bush’s lawyers argued to block the recounts; several more attempts to stop, or protect, the recounts and ballot certifications also were filed. On November 24, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear Bush’s appeal of a Florida high court ruling that allowed hand recounts to proceed.

The legal wrangling only intensified. On November 26, Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, who doubled as state campaign co-chair for Bush, certified voting results that gave Bush a 537-vote lead. Gore’s team won a court hearing to challenge those totals. On December 1, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments over whether the Florida Supreme Court had overstepped its authority in managing recount issues. On December 8, Florida’s high court upheld the manual recount. The next day, Bush successfully appealed for a stay from the U.S. Supreme Court to stop the recount. Bush’s team argued that the Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection for all citizens disqualified a manual recount because Florida’s counties had followed differing vote-counting procedures. The Gore team demanded that every vote be counted. On December 12, the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 5-to-4 vote, stopped the Florida recount. Though Gore received more popular votes than Bush, he conceded the next day. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Thank God that He inspired our Founding Fathers to create a Constitutional Republic instead of a mob-ruled Democracy.

Can you imagine living under a “President” Al Gore?

Yikes. That chills me to the bone. Get it? Al Gore…Global Warming…?

Moving on.

It never fails. A Republican Candidate has been victorious by a narrow margin and then, the next day or so, new votes have been “found”.

I wonder if they “found” the Broward County votes in the trunk of Broward native Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

If the Dems had won on Tuesday as big as they have claimed, they would not be trying to pull political shenanigans in the races in Arizona, Georgia, and Florida.

I am glad to see Rick Scott filing suit and fighting this garbage.

There is no way that the Democrats deserve to win any of these decisions being recounted.

By the way, if Gillum wins the Florida Gubernatorial Election and then gets indicted and found guilty from the FBI Investigation into his corruption as Tallahassee Mayor, will he serve from jail?

Some “New Bi-partisan Era”, Pelosi.

Sheesh.

The Democrats’ Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Donald-Trump-smug-feature

Yesterday started out as a great day for the Democratic Party.

They had won the majority of seats in the House of Representatives and were already making plans to use what they perceived as a “bully pulpit” to somehow, someway get rid of Republican President Donald J. Trump, who had the temerity to defeat their candidate, the Chosen One, Hillary Clinton, in the 2018 Presidential Election.

This was their chance to impeach the usurper, using their House Majority Status, the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and the support of the Deep State Operatives in the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats were counting their chickens before they hatched.

And now, to paraphrase the Reverend Jeremiah Wright,

The Democrats’ chickeeens have come home…to roost!

Yesterday morning, the news broke that Attorney General Jeff Sessions had been asked to resign and President Trump had appointed a temporary successor in the form of Matthew Whitaker, Session’s Chief of Staff.

According to FoxNews.com,

Whitaker has previously written an op-ed in 2017 in which he argued that “any investigation into President Trump’s finances or the finances of his family would require Mueller to return to Rod Rosenstein for additional authority under Mueller’s appointment as special counsel.”

Whitaker continued, “If he were to continue to investigate the financial relationships without a broadened scope in his appointment, then this would raise serious concerns that the special counsel’s investigation was a mere witch hunt.” (Trump has repeatedly derided the Mueller probe as a “witch hunt,” characterizing it as a partisan effort to detract from his accomplishments in office.)

“It is time for Rosenstein … to order Mueller to limit the scope of his investigation to the four corners of the order appointing him special counsel,” Whitaker concluded. “If he doesn’t, then Mueller’s investigation will eventually start to look like a political fishing expedition. This would not only be out of character for a respected figure like Mueller, but also could be damaging to the President of the United States and his family — and by extension, to the country.”

And in July 2017, Whitaker told CNN, “I could see a scenario where Jeff Sessions is replaced with a recess appointment, and that attorney general doesn’t fire Bob Mueller, but he just reduces his budget to so low that his investigation grinds to almost a halt.”

Of course, both “Chuck U.” Schumer and San Fran Nan Pelosi immediately called for Whitaker to recuse himself from the Russia Investigation, as Sessions did, and to allow Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to remain in place as Mueller’s boss.

Whitaker did not reply to them.

During a press conference yesterday afternoon, President Trump said,

“I could fire everybody right now, but I don’t want to stop it because politically I don’t like stopping it. “I am not concerned about anything with the Russian investigation, because it is a hoax. There is no collusion.”

However, the President is the boss of the Attorney General and the Attorney General is the boss of the Deputy Attorney General.

…And, we all know what rolls downhill.

The icing on the “Victory” Cake which President Trump served the Democrats last night, came in the form of the revoking of the White House Press Credentials of the Democrats’ favorite “reporter” on CNN: Jim Acosta.

Acosta lost his feeble mind at the President’s Press Conference yesterday afternoon, badgering Trump about the caravan of illegal immigrants heading toward our Southern Border.

President Trump finally had enough, putting the belligerent brat in his place like a child who had tried to butt into the conversation at the Adult Table during Thanksgiving Dinner.

Trump told Acosta that he was done, but Acosta refused to give the White House Intern, a young lady, the microphone. When she did get it, he tried to yank it from her in what was no doubt the most unprofessional scene put on by a “news reporter” in the history of Presidential Press Conferences.

When Acosta returned to the White House to set up for a 7:00 p.m. news segment, he was refused entry and his press credentials were taken from him, suspended “indefinitely”.

Of course, CNN is livid as is the rest of the Liberal Main Stream Media.

Considering the way this lout has behaved since before President Trump took office, he had it coming.

Just like his Democratic Party Masters did.

What started out as “iffy”, turned out to be a great day.

While the Democrats were patting themselves on the back and playing politics, President Donald J. Trump was taking care of business.

Were Last Night’s Results A “Blue Wave”? Hardly…But, What Happened and What Happens Now?

untitled (259)

As I write this, I am watching the results of the Midterm Elections on Fox News, which has made the announcement that the Democrats will take over the leadership of the House of Representatives.

When they do, they will offer our Sovereign Nation nothing but divisiveness, obstruction, and stagnation.

According to the panel of experts on Fox News, the “Suburban Housewife” Vote is the reason that the Republicans lost the House.

This is very strange to me.

One month ago, I watched thousands of Mississippi Housewives lose their minds over President Trump during his MAGA Rally at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi.

Now, I realize that Southern Housewives are a little bit different than housewives in other regions of the country.

Housewives down here go deer hunting with their husbands on Saturday mornings, watch SEC Football with family and friends on Saturday afternoons, and attend church with their family on Sundays.

If “Suburban Housewives” are indeed the cause of the Republicans losing the leadership of the House of Representatives, then I can only conclude that

  1. These housewives have been propagandized by what they watch daily on the Main Stream Media, buoyed by Liberal-heavy daily talk shows such as “The View”, The Talk”, and “Ellen”.
  2. Republicans did not have a strong enough ground game in those district which they lost. Knocking on doors is still an effective means of political communication and the Dems are good at it.

In order for the gains which have been made under the leadership of President Trump to continue, Republicans MUST unite behind him.

This country cannot afford any more RINOs and Vichy Republicans, some of whom were defeated last night.

The Republicans need to stand strong and stay united, because the Democrats are going to try everything they can in order to damage Donald J. Trump.

A word of warning to the Democrats: if you go ahead and launch a bunch of investigations against the President, culminating with a call for impeachment hearings to begin, you will be slitting your own throats.

Winning the House of Representatives by a narrow margin does not give you a mandate.

And, if you do not come back to Washington and work with President Trump on the things which matter to Americans and instead, pursue a foolish course of obfuscation fueled by hatred, then in November of 2020, average American Voters will remember your actions, such as they did in November of 2016…and you will, once again, will reap what you have sown, losing the leadership of the House and having to deal with another 4 years of President Donald J. Trump.

Your “Blue Wave” turned out to be a “Blue Trickle”.

Don’t overestimate yourselves.

Until He Comes,

KJ
