Why is Suicide Now the Leading Cause of Death for 13-and 14 Year Olds?

“Suicides among the youngest U.S. teenagers were rising for years before the pandemic — with school stress, social media and guns standing as potential factors, according to a new study.

Researchers found that between 2008 and 2018, the suicide rate among 13- and 14-year-olds nationwide more than doubled — from roughly two deaths per 100,000 teens in 2008, to five per 100,000 a decade later.

It was a stark reversal of a decline that began in the late-1990s.

And, in fact, suicide is now the leading cause of death for 13- and 14-year-olds in the United States…” (Courtesy Newsmax.com)

Guns? Guns can not fire themselves, nor can they personally interact with human beings on their own.

The fact of the matter is that kids are not getting the attention they need at home, and they’re not getting the non-political support that they need at school.

Nowadays, it takes both parents working in order to afford the basic necessities needed to raise a family.

That leaves very little time for the raising of a child. With children not getting the attention they need at home, they are naturally turning to the social media, the school, and their peers.

Public schools have become, for the most part, centers for the dissemination of Cultural Marxist propaganda designed to “make children think in a politically correct manner.”

Their friends can offer their opinions. However, they are being fed the same propaganda.

Nowadays, the majority of kids spend most of their time texting on their phones with other kids, playing video games, and talking about other students.

Kids today do not grow up playing outside and learning interpersonal communication skills.

In other words, they don’t know how to resolve conflict face-to-face, and they have never found out firsthand that there are actual real-world consequences for talking ugly and spreading false rumors about someone.

Even though they are communicating with each other electronically, kids today are living in isolation.

They have not learned how to be kind to one another.

They have not learned empathy.

Somehow, someway, parents and students need to start learning how to communicate with one another face-to-face.

Make no mistake. The family unit, as we know it, is under attack.

Pray for our kids.

The War on Christianity Returns as the House Passes “The Equality Act”

The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives this past week passed “The Equality Act”, a piece of legislation which they had previously passed in 2019. Only this time, they named it The “For The People” Act.

ChristianPost.com reported before it passed that

The wide-reaching Equality Act championed by Democrats would put the hiring practices of faith-based organizations in “jeopardy” and will create additional religious freedom concerns for Christian schools, churches and ministries, a prominent legal nonprofit argues.

Alliance Defending Freedom officials last Friday detailed the implications of the Equality Act, legislation backed by President Joe Biden that would codify discrimination protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity into federal law.

The legal organization, which has won several religious freedom cases before the U.S. Supreme Court in recent years, warned those watching an online webinar that the Equality Act could widen the definition of public accommodation in a way that could put faith-based institutions at risk.

Senior Counsel Gregory Baylor said that the bill, which passed the Democrat-controlled House in 2019, “dramatically expands” the scope of what constitutes a place of public accommodation.

“Under the law we have right now, it’s actually not that many entities: it’s restaurants, it’s hotels, it’s means of transportation,” he explained.

According to Baylor, supporters of the Equality Act want to expand the definition of public accommodation to include a “much, much broader category of organizations,” including “nonprofit entities like shelters and food banks.”

“The way that they’ve written it doesn’t rule out the possibility that a religious school or even a church in some of its functions might be deemed to be a place of public accommodation,” he continued.

…Noting that many religious organizations have policies that reflect their beliefs about marriage, sexual morality and distinction between the sexes, Baylor warned that the Equality Act “puts all of those in jeopardy.”

“There is some concern that even a church could be deemed a place of public accommodation” if it opens its facilities “for an event that’s open to the public,” Baylor stated.

This coming from the same Congress in which a member had a sexual relationship with a Chinese Spy named Fang Fang.

But, other than that, they’re outstanding Moral Arbiters.

Sheesh.

This push to allow “Transgendered” Americans to invade women’s restrooms in public places, is a logical (at least , using the convoluted logic of Liberals) next step, following SCOTUS ruling which overturned the will of the voters, in the overwhelming majority of states, legalizing “Gay Marriage”.

However, per usual, the hubris of the Political Minority in America, known as Liberals, precluded them from foreseeing the massive blowback that they have received, in regards to this latest attempt by them to make up a new “Constitutional Right”.

One of the arguments that Liberals have been countering the objections to their ludicrous demand with for quite a while now, is the fact that Europe has had Unisex Public Restrooms in place for years.

While that is true, what they fail to mention, is the fact that those restrooms all have PRIVATE stalls, which a common area to wash your hands, after you “finish your business”.

They also neglect to mention the fact that the decades-long degeneration of Morality and Virtue across Europe has lead to the current chaos being wrought by “immigrating” Muslims, who have set up Sharia Law in Europe. The same laws which call for the public execution of homosexuals in Muslim Countries.

What Modern American Liberals still fail to grasp is the concept of American Individualism, a concept strengthened by our American Faith and Traditional Values System, concepts which trace all the way back to our nation’s birth, set in place by our nation’s Founding Fathers.

Modern Liberals seem to have great difficulty comprehending the role which Christianity, the “Faith of Our Fathers”, the professed faith of 75% of Americans, per Gallup, played and plays in this Grand Experiment, known as the United States of America.

Why have Liberals ratcheted up their anti-Christian Vitriol and Negativity since January 21, 2009?

During the Obama Administration, there was a concerted and very visible effort to limit the role that Christianity plays in the day-to-day lives of average Americans.

And now, after installing their demented old puppet, Joe Biden as POTUS, Democrats believe that the “State” can now become America’s Moral Arbiter.

This was already done, decades ago, in Europe, and now, they are suffering the consequences of their actions.

The Christian Post published an article a few years ago reporting that

The Church of England is reportedly considering plans to keep some historic village churches across the country opened only on holy days such as Christmas and Easter due to population shifts and the ever-growing decline in attendance and church membership.

A major 66-page report by the CofE’s Church Buildings Review Group noted that many churches are no longer sustainable, and that about one in four parishes have fewer than 10 regular worshipers.

The report proposes turning some parishes into “festival churches” in order to ease the financial burden, suggesting that they will only be used for key dates on the religious calendar, or occasions such as marriage and funerals.

Festival churches are only one of the widespread changes proposed by the review group, which says it is focused on “securing spiritual and numerical growth and serving the common good.”

“We believe that — apart from growing the church — there is no single solution to the challenges posed by our extensive responsibility for part of the nation’s historic heritage,” the group added.

The CofE has had to deal with sharp decline over the past 30 years, as reported in May by NatCen Social Research.

The group’s Social Attitudes survey found that 40 percent of the British population identified as Anglicans in 1983, but that number is down to only 17 percent in 2014. Presently only 8.5 million Britons identify as Anglicans, the survey said.

People of no religious faith now make up close to half of the population in Britain, or 49 percent, which is up from their 31 percent count in 1983.

With the steady rise of immigration, the rise of non-Christian faiths has also been well documented, with Islam making up close to 5 percent of all Britons in 2014, up from 0.5 percent in 1983.

Why are Modern American Liberals so focused on removing, or, at the very least, marginalizing, America’s Christian Heritage, as found in our System of Traditional Values and Beliefs?

Well, as is usually my wont, I have been doing some “reckoning” about this.

It seems to this ol’ Southern Boy, living here in the Heartland, that America’s Christian Heritage and the very real fact of His influence in building and shaping America’s growth into the greatest country on the face of God’s Green Earth, not only stifles and interferes with Modern Liberals’ “anything goes”, “share the wealth”, “hive-mind”, “man is his own god” Political Ideology, but the reality of God’s very existence, somewhere deep in their miserable, bitter psyches, scares the mess out of them.

Why else would they be trying so hard to fight against the influence of Someone Whom they really don’t believe in?

I see them every single day on the television, on the Internet, on Facebook Political Pages, posting stupid meme (a picture with words on it) after stupid meme, attempting to make fun of The Great I Am and those of us who have given our lives to Him.

They are so hateful, and filled with such bitterness, that it is difficult to engage them in “conversation”.

Perhaps, somewhere in their back of their minds, all of these Modern American Liberals, realize that they are fighting a losing battle.

Christianity continues to thrive in America, despite their best efforts.

America was built upon a Solid Rock.

To ignore our nation’s Faith-Based Founding and Heritage is to live in purposeful ignorance.

As President Ronald Reagan said,

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

And, as Hebrews 13:8 tells us,

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Regardless of the ongoing Political Machinations by Modern American Liberals to tear asunder the Moral fabric of the nation for the “Good of the State” and the propagation of the “Hive-Mind”, the God of Abraham, who brought our Founding Fathers to this Land, will have the Final Word.

Nikki Haley: “2020 Was the Year Socialism Went Mainstream”…And Yet, 75% of Americans Prefer Free-Market Capitalism

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley took to Twitter on Monday to warn people Democrats are embracing socialism in a “terrifying trend.”

Haley tweeted:

“2020 was the year socialism went mainstream. The dangerous ideology, which has failed everywhere it has been tried & ruined countless lives, is on its way to becoming the default economic policy of the Democratic Party. This terrifying trend threatens the future of every American”

Haley followed with a post that accused the left of believing “government knows

best.”

“If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that when govt dictates how the economy is run, Americans suffer,” Haley wrote.

“With the Biden admin set to take power, now is the time to renew the fight for capitalism.”

Haley, a former South Carolina governor being touted as a possible 2024 GOP presidential candidate, also posted an article entitled, “2020 In Review: Socialism Rising,” per Fox News.

“With the Biden administration set to take power, now is the time to renew the fight for capitalism and opportunity for all – and against socialism and its suffering,” Haley wrote on the Stand for America website, which she started.

“Now is the time to rally our fellow citizens to ensure that every American can achieve their dreams and bring our country and people to new heights of achievement. The only way socialism wins is if we don’t show up. So let’s show up, stand up, and speak out, for the sake of America’s future.”

Haley’s post on Stand for America linked to a New York Post article featuring polling results that showed socialism was not actually popular among Americans and faced considerable opposition from the country.

Seventh-five percent of Americans said they preferred free-market capitalism over socialism, according to the poll by Rasmussen and the Heartland Institute.

Then, the question remains, how in the name of Dow Jones and all his little averages, did Demented old Joe Biden, the candidate of the Democratic Socialists, get elected President?

But, that’s a question which continues to be answered: THE DEMOCRATS CHEATED.

Concerning socialism…

From San Fran Nan Pelosi and Chuck “U.” Schumer on down, Marxism is being fully embraced in the name of “Democratic Socialism”. “Political compromise” took the last plane out of town a long time ago.

Did you know that there is an actual organization named the Democratic Socialists of America?

In a document titled “Where We Stand,” DSA outlines in detail its political perspectives. Here is an excerpt…

“Social redistribution—the shift of wealth and resources from the rich to the rest of society—will require: massive redistribution of income from corporations and the wealthy to wage earners and the poor and the public sector, in order to provide the main source of new funds for social programs, income maintenance and infrastructure rehabilitation, and a massive shift of public resources from the military (the main user of existing discretionary funds) to civilian uses.”

Sound hauntingly familiar, “comrades”?

Remember when the Former (Thank God) President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, spoke about “sharing the wealth” to a plumber named Joe during his 2008 Presidential Campaign?

One hundred years ago in Russia, a revolution was based on that very idea.

The unworkable theory that “Democratic Socialism” is based on is known as Marxism.

No government which has taken it as their political philosophy has ever flourished. The government grew and those working within it became rich while the “Proletariat” or average working citizens starved, giving all they had “for the good of the State”.

For quite a while now, I have been referring to those of the Far Left Democratic Party who did everything they could to disrupt and interfere with the success of President Donald J. Trump and the comeback of the Greatest Country on the face of the Earth, as the “New Bolsheviks”.

To be immodest, it looks like I nailed that one.

These “useful idiots” were so “out there” that they had the Old Guard of the Democratic Party running scared, which allowed them to run the party and their political campaign strategies for the 2020 Presidential Elections.

As America has witnessed, the Democratic Party has been moving further and further to the left side of the Political Spectrum for decades now.

So, it is really no surprise that they have  become which they have been whining about for several years: fascists.

But they have not become just any kind of fascists. They have become Marxist Fascists, extolling the “benevolent goodness” of an all-powerful Central Government who will take care of everyone from cradle to grave.

And, those who refuse to give up their individual freedom as guaranteed to us by our Constitution are to be shunned and ridiculed as “intolerant, ignorant hillbillies”.

As I have written before, America is involved in an internal struggle, a “Civil War”, if you will, for the very soul of our Sovereign Nation.

When the Marxists in the Democratic Party who declared “war” on America and her citizens found that they cold not to win the hearts of average Americans they decided to commit Election Fraud on a level which has never before been scene in America.

The final result of the poll mentioned in the above article does not surprise me at all.

The overwhelming majority of our citizens are still proud Americans who embrace traditional faith and values.

Unfortunately, our nation also has a lot of “useful idiots” who do not have a clue.

Bloomberg: “I Could Teach Anybody…to be a Farmer”…Paul Harvey Disagreed

Farmers are vets, botanists, meteorologists, mechanics, carpenters, and whatever else they need to be to just survive. And unlike Bloomberg News, farmers are indispensable. The world would stop turning in two weeks if they went on strike. – John Nolte, Breitbart.com

Presidential candidate and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg appeared to belittle both farmers and factory workers in 2016 comments made at a university forum, continuing a trend of old remarks resurfacing to plague the billionaire’s bid for the Democratic nomination.

Bloomberg continued: “Now comes the information economy and the information economy is fundamentally different because it’s built around replacing people with technology and the skill sets that you have to learn are how to think and analyze, and that is a whole degree level different. You have to have a different skill set, you have to have a lot more gray matter. It’s not clear the teachers can teach or the students can learn, and so the challenge of society of finding jobs for these people, who we can take care of giving them a roof over their head and a meal in their stomach and a cell phone and a car and that sort of thing. But the thing that is the most important, that will stop them from setting up a guillotine someday, is the dignity of a job”

Bloomberg, who has faced a litany of negative stories in the past week about his past comments regarding women, African-Americans and others, concluded his point, saying, “the problem is not the redistribution of wealth, it is the job where you go in every day.”

“Time and again we see Bloomberg insulting the middle class and the working class, union members and not yet union members,” the organization tweeted. “Maybe it’s time for pundits to stop pretending he’s just another candidate. Bloomberg is an oligarch spending his play money to buy the White House.”

The legendary Paul Harvey first delivered this speech at a Future Farmers if America Convention in 1978. It was later made into a Super Bowl commercial.

And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, “I need a caretaker.” So God made a farmer.

God said, “I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, milk cows, work all day in the fields, milk cows again, eat supper and then go to town and stay past midnight at a meeting of the school board.” So God made a farmer.

Bloomberg just does not get it. The overwhelming majority of Americans have ancestors that were farmers. This country was originally an agrarian society. Our forefathers worked the land to provide for their families.

A lot of patriotic hard-working Americans still do while the fruits of their labor are used in both America and around the world.

Mike Bloomberg does not understand that America is a Constitutional Republic not a benevolent oligarchy.

He must not have been paying attention during the 2016 Presidential Election.

Americans rejected the arrogance of bubble-living Democrats the day, just as our forefathers rejected the yoke of a “benevolent oligarchy” when they won our Sovereign Nation’s freedom in 1776.

Privileged snobs like Bloomberg never learn.

Beto Spills the Beans About Dems Coming After Americans’ Guns, Dad of Parkland Victim Says She Was Killed Due to Democrat Policies

On “No Interruption,” Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren sat down with Andrew Pollack, father of Parkland shooting victim Meadow Pollack.

Pollack became an outspoken advocate for school safety since the Parkland shooting, and he has now written a new book detailing his own investigation into the events that led to the massacre.

“I wanted to look into it, I wanted to honor my daughter to see what happened, and how it could happen that I put my daughter in a school, in a nice neighborhood, and then I’m never going to see her again,” Pollack said. “I wanted to know the facts. I didn’t just listen to mainstream media, I didn’t jump on that bandwagon — and I found out that there was a multitude of failures and policies that lead up to my daughter getting murdered, that the mainstream media didn’t want to cover.”

In “Why Meadow Died: The People and Policies That Created The Parkland Shooter and Endanger America’s Students,” Pollack discusses his views on gun control, why he blames Democratic policies for his daughter’s murder, and precautions that parents can take to ensure the safety of their children.

Pollack argued that new gun control laws are an ineffective solution to the school shooting epidemic, in part because current laws are not being enforced.  For example, the Parkland shooter had a violent record, but he was not arrested and therefore able to obtain a weapon legally.

“To me, gun control would’ve been if they arrested him for punching his mother’s teeth out and he got a background,” explained Pollack. “Democrats put these policies in place that don’t believe in holding kids accountable or arresting them while they’re juveniles…so if they don’t arrest them and they don’t get a background, then they’re able to purchase weapons legally and a background check is useless,” he said.

In an interview with “Fox & Friends” Monday, Pollack said that banning guns is not the solution, and he encouraged people to look at the “underlying causes for these shootings.”

“They’re not addressing mental health…or arresting these people when they make threats…those are the real issues,” he explained.

Responding to a recent video featuring 2020 Democratic candidates promoting tighter gun control as a safety precaution in schools, Pollack said it made him “ill.”

“My daughter paid the ultimate sacrifice because of those Democratic policies and I’ve been hurt by the Democrats more than anybody in this country — and I hold them responsible,” Pollack said.

While doing research for today’s post, I came upon this article, which grabbed my attention.

I started thinking about what inconsequential Democratic Primary Candidate inadvertently admitted to Americans last week:

The fact that Democrats are indeed going to continue to come after the guns of law-abiding American Citizens whether they take back the power of the Presidency in 2020 or not.

The Democrats have danced around the truth for years now, parsing words while speaking vaguely about “Gun Control”, while enticing school children to walk out of schools to help facilitate acceptance of a “benevolent” bunch of “Democratic Socialists” violating one of Americans’ Constitutional Rights.

As any American with any common sense whatsoever will tell you, the purpose of “Gun Control” IS control.

The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, regarding the right of Americans to bear arms, was more than just a statement written in a document long ago by our Founding Fathers.

It was an admonition.

By now, gentle readers, I hope that you have taken stock of the fact that every single time there is a mass murder in our Sovereign Nation, before the smoke even clears, Democrat Pundits, both professional and amateur, start drooling from their pursed lips in an ecstatic frenzy to be the first to call for “Gun Control”.

It is not, as Mr. Pollack has warned us, regardless of what the Dems say repeatedly when these tragedies happen, “for the children”.

Oh, no.

If Liberal Democrats were so concerned about America’s children, America would not be witnessing the yanking of children from their mothers’ wombs at the rate of 1,000,000 abortions every year.

Make no mistake. Gun control is no more a Democratic Mantra spoken out of concern for the welfare of Americans than Nancy Pelosi is in full control of her mental faculties.

Vladimir Lenin, the Communist Leader of the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks during the Russian Revolution, stated that

“One man with a gun can control 100 men without one.”

Just as during the Russian Revolution, our modern-day Bolsheviks and Mensheviks, whom we call Millenials and Progressives, seem to blindly follow as one the notion that more control somehow means more freedom.

Little do those who are being “sponsored” to march for Gun Control realize that they are being led over a cliff like the herd of lemmings which my generation used to watch in school in those Walt Disney True Life Adventure Movies.

Just as Lenin played upon his followers’ emotions, so are the Democrats manipulating “useful idiots” for their own political purposes.

As Mr. Pollack said, the Democrats do not care about

“…underlying causes for these shootings….They’re not addressing mental health…or arresting these people when they make threats…those are the real issues…”

And, God bless him, he is exactly right.

Guns cannot shoot themselves.

As one of our Founding Fathers, Dr. Benjamin Franklin, once wrote,

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

Biden Agrees With Supporter Calling Trump an “Illegitimate President” at NH Campaign Event…TDS Lives!

Sleepy Joe has a fondness for the taste of shoe leather.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, the frontrunner among 2020 Democratic candidates, agreed with a supporter who blasted Donald Trump’s presidency — and called it “illegitimate” — during a fiery rant at his latest campaign stop.

“He is an illegitimate president in my mind. That’s it,” the woman, who said she had “a very severe case of what’s called Trump derangement syndrome,” told Biden.

“He’s illegitimate and my biggest fear is that he’s going to do it again with the help of Vlad, his best pal, and we’re going to be stuck for six more years with this guy, and that is terrifying, it’s terrifying,” she said, mentioning Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Biden responded by jokingly asking if she would be his vice presidential candidate. In a seemingly more serious tone, Biden said, “folks, look, I absolutely agree.”

Her comments also included a call for all 2020 candidates to unify behind a message that claimed, among other things, Trump won the 2016 election with Russia’s help. “I don’t want to live in a country run by Vladimir Putin. I don’t think anybody should want that,” she added.

Biden told the woman that in order to help Democrats win, he wouldn’t “speak ill” of another Democratic candidates. “We have to be in a position, whomever the nominee is, to be able to win,” he said.

Biden has a history of making comments potentially damaging to his political career. For example, he told a Chinese university audience in 2011 that he “fully” understood their one-child policy.

The former vice president also faced scrutiny over a 2006 video, resurfaced in May, showing him advocating for a border wall and punishment for employers who hired illegal immigrants.

Biden’s Tuesday comments came after weeks of turmoil surrounding Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report which highlighted what some considered to be troubling activity by Russians. The report did not, however, conclude the Trump campaign conspired with the Russians to influence the election.

While Democrats have continued investigating potential obstruction of justice under Trump, the Justice Department probed the Russia investigation’s origins and whether the former administration improperly surveilled Trump’s campaign.

Why did Biden agree that Trump’s Presidency is “illegitimate”?

Because it is all that he’s got.

I mean, what is he going to run on, the success of Obama’s Presidency?

Puhleeze.

If the American public believed that Obama did a great job as president, Hillary Clinton would have been elected to succeed him.

When you say that to a Democrat, of course, they will bring up the “Popular Vote” argument.

And, of course, the answer to that is the fact that we are not a mob-ruled Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic and Trump won an overwhelming majority of states, giving him the Electoral Votes he needed.

Our Founding Fathers, in their infinite wisdom, created this Blessed Land as a Constitutional Republic in order to provide fair and equal representation to all areas of the country, whether they be densely populated “urban” areas or sparsely populated “rural” areas.

No American’s vote is more important than somebody else’s.

When I voted down here, outside Memphis, Tennessee, in the Northwest Corner of the Magnolia State on November 8, 2016, it counted the same as a Democrat voting in one of the boroughs of New York City.

The Founders created and put in place the Electoral College in order to prevent just what the “Democratic Socialists” in the New Far left Democratic Party have been crying for since they lost the 2016 Presidential Election: a nation where its leaders are selected by mob rule in which special interest groups of a minority political philosophy joined together to form a voting bloc in order to “radically change” the course of a Sovereign Nation.

One of our Founding Fathers, James Madison, explained in no uncertain terms why he and his fellow patriots did not form our Sovereign Nation as a “democracy”…

[In a pure democracy], [a] common passion or interest will, in almost every case, be felt by a majority of the whole; a communication and concert results from the form of government itself; and there is nothing to check the inducements to sacrifice the weaker party or an obnoxious individual. Hence it is that such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths

Madison, who would go on to become president, was a prophet.

He not only predicted the problems of governing by “democracy”, he predicted the flaws in Marxist Theory, including the “Democratic Socialism” which the Democrats are advocating.

However, some people, especially Liberals, never learn.

With the Mueller Investigation ended and the toothless House Committees trying to get Trump on something…ANYTHING…proving to be ineffectual, I look for the Democrats to start pushing for the “Popular Vote” again as most of them feel the same way about Trump’s Presidency as Sleepy Joe does.

There are three problems with that.

First, the Senate would block it.

Second, if Sleepy Joe is the best candidate they have, they will lose the Popular Vote in 2020.

Third, if Inspector General Horowitz’s Report and Attorney General Barr’s Investigation come back the way it is believed that they will, the Democrats won’t be able to win a election for Dogcatcher…much less for President of the United States of America.

Censorship in the Name of “Social Justice”: First the Confederacy, Now Kate Smith…Who’s Next?

The Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday removed a statue of late singer Kate Smith that stood outside their arena for more than three decades, the move coming two days after the team covered the monument in response to complaints about two tunes the “God Bless America” singer performed in the 1930s.

The Flyers had covered the statue and suspended playing her famous rendition of the patriotic song Friday. The Flyers decision followed a similar one made recently by the New York Yankees, who for 18 years had played the recording during the seventh inning stretch. Smith’s statue had stood near the Philadelphia sports complex since 1987.

“The NHL principle ‘Hockey is for Everyone’ is at the heart of everything the Flyers stand for,” team president Paul Holmgren said in a statement. “As a result, we cannot stand idle while material from another era gets in the way of who we are today.”

Smith, who died in 1986 at age 79, was long considered an American icon, in large part because of her association with “God Bless America,” the 1918 Irving Berlin song she recorded in 1939. She received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1982.

Recently, however, the Yankees reportedly became aware Smith sang a popular 1931 song, “That’s Why Darkies Were Born.” The tune, originally written for a Broadway revue and later referenced in a Marx Brothers flick, featured lyrics such as: “Someone had to pick the cotton, Someone had to pick the corn, Someone had to slave and be able to sing, That’s why darkies were born.” Ray Henderson and Lew Brown wrote the song. Smith did not contribute words or music.

The song was considered a satire of racism in its time, with civil rights activist Paul Robeson also having recorded a version.

Detractors also note Smith recorded a song called “Pickaninny Heaven” — with “pickaninny” being a racial slur for a black child — and point to Smith’s likeness appearing in an ad for baking powder that featured a “mammy” character.

The Flyers had played Smith’s version of “God Bless America” before must-win games since 1969, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, and its record in those games was a stellar 101-31-5. She performed her rendition in person before the team captured its Stanley Cup in 1974.

The Yankees pulled “God Bless America” earlier this season after being informed about the questionable Broadway song, the New York Post reported

Kathryn Elizabeth Smith was born May 1, 1907 and passed away on June 17, 1986. Known professionally as Kate Smith and “The First Lady of Radio”, she was an American singer, a contralto, well-known for her rendition of Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America”, which became the most popular song on American Radio on three separate occasions. She had a radio, television, and recording career spanning five decades, which reached its pinnacle in the 1940s. Smith became known as The Songbird of the South after her enduring popularity during World War II due to her efforts in helping America to win the war. She raised $600 million  to help the war effort. That’s $11 billion in today’s dollars.

And now, because she dared to sing two satirical songs about racism, those who are making a living by dividing Americans have deemed her to not be worthy to be seen or heard any more.

Kate Smith has been banished from history because of political correctness, just as “offended Liberals have been attempting to do to anything that dares remember and teach Americans about the Civil War, especially the Confederate States of America.

Since before the 2016 President Election, I have referred to those who want to be known as “The Resistance” as “The New Bolsheviks” because of the striking similarity of their actions to the ruthless aggression displayed by those who followed Vladimir Lenin in the Russian Revolution of 1918.

However, there is another group that these “brave new radicals” remind me of: the barbarians of Islamic State, or ISIS.

When they would take over a city in the Middle East, for example Palmyra, one of the first things that they would do would be to tear down the area’s historical sites, destroying any artifacts and antiquities which they did not like, in order to establish that their culture was supreme, just as Lenin’s Bolsheviks did.

“The Resistance” or protestors, if you will, who are bringing down the historical statues which I just mentioned, and who now have banished Kate Smith as Rameses did Moses, also proclaim their self-righteousness through their actions.

As an American, I see nothing different from their actions than those of the Bolsheviks and the Radical Islamists of ISIS.

The subjects of all of this censorship were Americans. In the case of the Confederate Generals, most of them were West Point Graduates who proudly served their country before the War Between the States.

The Civil War was a seminal moment in American History.

If you find the statues offensive, then that is your prerogative as an American. However, your hurt feelings do not give you just cause to attempt to erase history by pulling down a statue which is not your property.

And, how does Kate Smith singing two songs meant to ridicule racism, which Black Communist Activist Paul Robeson (“Ol’ Man River) himself sang make her memory worthy of the treatment which she and her signature song “God Bless America” have received?

History cannot be hidden, nor can it be changed through violent acts in the present. It just is.

Those statues were put in place so that Americans might learn about those historical figures and learn FROM them, as well.

Kate Smith was a patriot who was simply a product of her times.

And that brings me to very important point: Lenin’s Bolsheviks and ISIS also destroyed historical artifacts in order to make the populace “malleable” and “agreeable”.

Without their history there to remind them through statues, buildings and antiquities, the populace would lose their sense of “country”, not to mention knowledge of how their nation had evolved and changed into what they had become comfortable with.

These New Bolsheviks who are censoring history do not understand that in order to be properly educated as an American Citizen, you need to be aware of our Sovereign Nation’s History and reminded of it constantly, the good and the bad, so that our nation does not lose our cherished liberty which was bought by the blood of those before us.

So why, all of a sudden are these statues and, for gosh sakes, Kate Smith, which have been a part of our nation’s history for so long, so offensive?

Perhaps because they stand in the way of those who would replace our Constitutional Republic with a Marxist form of government…like “Democratic Socialism”.

After all, those with a proper knowledge of history and a strong sense of American Patriotism would not make very good “useful idiots”.

Several celebrities went on the offensive on social media after learning of the results of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to rig the 2016 presidential election.

Attorney General William Barr on Sunday released the “principal conclusions” of Mueller’s probe in a bombshell four-page letter to Congress, which stated definitively that Mueller did not establish evidence that President Trump’s team or any associates of the Trump campaign had conspired with Russia to sway the 2016 election.

While some on cable news pointed out it was good news that the president was found to not have colluded with Russia, Barr’s report did not make many anti-Trump stars happy.

After Barr revealed the investigation “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated” with Russians, Cher slammed the president, tweeting: “I Have Not,Nor Will I Change My Opinion Of trump,His Evil,Or His Ties To Russia.He Is up to his Neck in Crime & Corruption THERE ARE TWO THINGS THAT CANNOT BE HIDDEN FOREVER…THE SUN AND…THE TRUTH.”

“Did not imagine a world where they were able to indict Aunt Becky before Donald Trump,” actor and comedian Billy Eichner tweeted.

Lori Loughlin, the actress who played Aunt Becky on the sitcom “Full House,” was indicted earlier this month after federal investigators claimed she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, agreed to pay $500,000 in bribes to have their two daughters designated as recruits for the USC crew team — when neither girl was a rower.

He later followed up with: “Trump is garbage. Anyone else 2020. … There’s MY report. You’re welcome.”

…Alyssa Milano, a vocal critic of Trump, questioned why Mueller’s report has not yet been released in full, tweeting that “if the report fully exonerated [Trump] or his family, he’d have it all out in seconds. Wouldn’t he?”

…Former “Two and a Half Men” and current “Supergirl” star, Jon Cryer, penned a tweet critical of Barr’s credibility.

“This is why Trump appointed Barr,” he wrote to accompany a negative article about the attorney general.

…”If William Barr summarized Romeo and Juliet, he’d probably say that Romeo murdered Juliet’s cousin, was banished for it, and is now dead. Let’s wait to hear the full story,” actor and activist George Takei tweeted.

Takei said in June of last year that he created a mobile app that allows users to place a cartoon cat with some of Trump’s features into photos and videos with their friends and family in the hopes of making a “little mockery” of today’s political climate.

Rosie O’Donnell, who wrote a poem in February about how the president was “going down,” tweeted that Barr’s four-page summary of the investigation “is irrelevant” and called for the Justice Department to release the full report.

“I wonder if the Mueller report will have anything REALLY explosive in it, like Donald Trump standing in front of reporters and asking Russia to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails,” wrote comedian Ike Barinholtz.

Bette Midler didn’t pull any punches in asserting her belief that Trump obstructed justice.

“#MuellersReport finds no evidence showing  #TrumpsTeam of “collusion” with Russia, but stops short of “exonerating” Trump on obstruction of justice. Knowing Trump, he probably tried to do exactly that. TWO MORE YEARS OF CHAOS, RACE BAITING, GRIFTERS, CON ARTISTS, SHAME/FEAR. SAD.”

Actor Don Cheadle took a shot at Sarah Sanders, who tweeted that the findings exonerate Trump.

“your reading comprehension is 🤪 …” he wrote.

“Looks like you can’t indict a ham sandwich,” wrote “Lord of the Rings” and “Stranger Things” star Sean Astin.

No, but it can probably act better than you.

The Hollywood “Elite” on the Left of the Political Spectrum who voted for Hillary Clinton to be our next President of the United States of America, continue in public to show their hindquarters, while throwing the longest temper tantrum that the world has ever seen over the results of an American Presidential Election, which happened over two years ago.

These self-proclaimed activists, are once again making a lie out of the claim that they have made for years that they are the most tolerant…and “gifted” among us.

In fact, these sore losers remind me of the hysterically sobbing children that you hear in every Walmart across the country.

It’s not that those children are crying because they are physically hurt. Just like these Hollywood Liberals, they’re crying because they did not get their way.

This epic meltdown by those who are paid handsomely to entertain us is a direct result of an isolated ignorance of average Americans’ desire to rid ourselves of those in the Halls of Power who told us repeatedly that they knew what was best for us and “who we were”, while their actual mission was to turn America into a Third-World Barrio in their quest to make us a Socialist Paradise and the fact that they did not “get their way” in the Mueller Report.

All during the Presidential Campaign, the Democratic Party, along with those in “Showbiz”, through their minions in the Main Stream Media, assured us that it was a foregone conclusion that Hillary Clinton would be our 45th president.

There is a reason for that.

The Liberal Elite have always believed that our country revolves around the big metropolitan areas in the Northeast and in California. They have always looked down their noses at what they derisively call “Flyover Country”, the same area that many of us call the Heartland of America or simply “home”.

Just like their fellow Modern American Liberals who run the Democratic Party, the disconnected “dancing monkeys” in Tinsel Town and the Big Apple just can not accept the fact that the overwhelming majority of Americans living between the coasts, the ones responsible for the election of President Trump are sick and tired of tuning in to awards shows and late night talk shows only to see Far Left pompous imbeciles attempting to lecture average Americans as to why America and the President are positively gauche and awful.

At this point, all their incessant national temper tantrum over Trump’s Presidency and political correctness is doing, is making them look like fools.

I don’t remember any of us average Americans asking them for their opinion as to how we should vote, do you?

And, I certainly do not remember them being appointed as the arbiters of what is “Hate Speech” and what words are allowed to be communicated freely among Americans.

Perhaps, if they got their noses out of the air and actually associated with their families and former friends “back home”, instead of kissing each other’s hindquarters at the latest premiere or “social event”, perhaps they and reality would not have taken divergent paths, and they would conduct themselves and  comport themselves like those Hollywood Legends before them, who served their country during World War II, doing whatever they could to help America defeat fascism.

Now, these pampered ,self-righteous, oblivious Lightweights are all proponents of the “New Fascism” being practiced by the Modern Democratic (Socialist) Party.

As we say down here in the part of America’s Heartland, known as Dixie…

NY Gov. Cuomo Signs Law Allowing Abortions Up to Birth…Have Dems Lost Their Minds?

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is under fire from faith leaders after he signed a bill into law that legalizes abortion up until birth in many cases. The Democratic governor directed the One World Trade Center and other landmarks to be lit in pink Tuesday to celebrate the passage of “Reproductive Health Act.”

Cuomo called it “a historic victory for New Yorkers and for our progressive values” on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States. But New York Catholic bishops slammed him for the move just days after he touted his Catholic faith during the State of the State address.

“Your advocacy of extreme abortion legislation is completely contrary to the teachings of our pope and our Church,” Albany Bishop Rev. Edward B. Scharfenberger wrote in an open letter in the Evangelist on Saturday. “I shudder to think of the consequences this law will wreak. You have already uttered harsh threats about the welcome you think pro-lifers are not entitled to in our state. Now you are demonstrating that you mean to write your warning into law. Will being pro-life one day be a hate crime in the State of New York?”

New York was the first state to legalize abortion in 1970. Cuomo directed the 408-foot spire on the One World Trade Center, the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, the Kosciuszko Bridge, and the Alfred E. Smith Building in Albany to be lit pink to “celebrate this achievement and shine a bright light forward for the rest of the nation to follow.”

Under the Reproductive Health Act, non-doctors are now allowed to conduct abortions and the procedure could be done until the mother’s due date if the woman’s health is endangered or if the fetus is not viable. The previous law only allowed abortions after 24 weeks of pregnancy if a woman’s life was at risk.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, along with the Catholic Bishops in the state signed a letter condemning the bill, saying “our beloved state has become a more dangerous one for women and their unborn babies.”

“Our governor and legislative leaders hail this new abortion law as progress. This is not progress,” the bishops wrote. “Progress will be achieved when our laws and our culture once again value and respect each unrepeatable gift of human life, from the first moment of creation to natural death.”

Thomas Peters, the @AmericanPapist on Twitter, condemned Cuomo, saying he should be excommunicated for his pro-abortion actions, pointing to the One World Trade Center’s pink spire.

“Now it looks just like the needle that is used to supply the lethal injection to the living unborn child,” Peters wrote.

Gentle readers, now more than ever, our Sovereign Nation has become a battleground in the struggle of Good vs. Evil.

If the fight over our nation’s sovereignty has not convinced you of that fact, what the state of New York just did certainly should.

However, the horrible actions of Governor Cuomo and his fellow Far Left Democrats should not surprise anyone.

In March, 2008, during a Townhall Meeting in Western Pennsylvania, Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) said,

Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.

Of course, Barack Hussein Obama was elected President of the United States. While he was “radically changing” everything about our sacred land, blood was being spilled across the fruited plains. Especially, in that same state of Pennsylvania:

On February 18, 2010, the FBI raided the “Women’s Medical Society,” run by Dr. Kermit Gosnell, a butcher, euphemistically killing babies under the title of “Abortion Doctor”.

The FBI entered the office about 8:30 p.m. expecting to find to find evidence that it was illegally selling prescription drugs. What they found was America’s Auschwitz:

There was blood on the floor. A stench of urine filled the air. A flea-infested cat was wandering through the facility, and there were cat feces on the stairs. Semi-conscious women scheduled for abortions were moaning in the waiting room or the recovery room, where they sat on dirty recliners covered with blood-stained blankets. All the women had been sedated by unlicensed staff. They also found out that a patient had died there several months earlier.

Until 2009, Gosnell reportedly performed mostly first and second trimester abortions. But his clinic had come to develop a bad reputation, and could attract only women who couldn’t get an abortion elsewhere, former employees have said. “Steven Massof estimated that in 40 percent of the second-trimester abortions performed by Gosnell, the fetuses were beyond 24 weeks gestational age,” the grand jury states. “Latosha Lewis testified that Gosnell performed procedures over 24 weeks ‘too much to count,’ and ones up to 26 weeks ‘very often.’ …in the last few years, she testified, Gosnell increasingly saw out-of-state referrals, which were all second-trimester, or beyond. By these estimates, Gosnell performed at least four or five illegal abortions every week.”

On January 22, 2013, Obama said,

On the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we reaffirm its historic commitment to protect the health and reproductive freedom of women across this country and stand by its guiding principle: that government should not intrude on our most private family matters, and women should be able to make their own choices about their bodies and their health care.

The Liberal mind is fascinating. Sick and twisted…but, fascinating. On the one hand, Obama was saying that children are to be cherished and protected. I agree.

At the same time, just like Speaker Pelosi did last year when she proclaimed that banning abortions would be “un-Christian”, Obama stood by a woman’s right to kill her baby.

I can hear the Liberals screeching right now.

That’s not a baby. It’s a fetus! It’s not the same thing! You chauvinist pig!

(Fetus is Latin for BABY)

If cherishing God’s gift of life makes me a “chauvinist pig”, you’re darned skippy I am! Yay, pigs! Sooey! That’s not a puppy growing in there, y’all.

The blatant hypocrisy that was shown by Obama, his loyal minions in Congress, and the MSM, the Liberal pundits on TV and Radio, and ignorant “seminar” callers and posters on Conservative websites, in defense of “their rights “not to be punished with a baby” and their resounding silence regarding the American Auschwitz known as the Gosnell Case, and now with this inhuman law passed in New York, is reminiscent of Germany in the 1930s…and positively chilling.

Remember a while back, when MSNBC Host, and resident Communist, Melissa Harris-Perry proclaimed,

…we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents, or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsibility, and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments. (?)

Evidently, for Modern American Liberals, that only applies when the child is no longer a “punishment”.

Some good news regarding Americans’ Views on abortion can be found in a post from TheHill.com, published less than one month before 2016’s President Election…

The most recent Marist Poll from this summer shows that a 53% majority of Americans support a strong pro-life policy of limiting abortions only to cases of rape, incest, or medical emergencies. An overwhelming 78% supermajority support, at a minimum, limiting abortion only to the first three months of pregnancy. Sixty-two of Americans oppose forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for abortions.

In the case of “Abortion On Demand”, I believe that the overwhelming majority of average Americans have recognized the obvious.

As President Ronald Reagan observed, all those decades ago,

I’ve noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.

And that includes all the Molech worshippers in New York State and the Far Left Democratic Party…including its Speaker.

Cummings – House Dems “Will Look at Anything” to Get Trump

Fox News contributor and former congressman Jason Chaffetz said House Democrats’ planned investigations of the Trump administration are “fishing expeditions” that are “not productive for the country.”

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md), new chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, said on “60 Minutes” Sunday his committee will “look at anything.”

When host Steve Kroft asked if that could include the Department of the Interior or the EPA, Cummings reiterated, “Anything.”

“But the fact that we can look at anything is part of the problem. There’s so much,” Cummings said. “The Congress doesn’t meet but so many days in a year. And all I’m saying is that we’ve gotta hit the ground, not running, but flying.”

On “America’s Newsroom” Monday, Chaffetz, who chaired the House Oversight Committee until he left office in June 2017, said he respects Cummings but he’s “very concerned” about the direction of the committee.

“The committee was founded in 1814 to oversee government expenditures. His interpretation is, they should be investigating anything and everything that has to do with Donald Trump,” Chaffetz said.

He said there must be evidence of wrongdoing before a probe is launched, otherwise they are just “fishing expeditions.”

“That’s not productive for the country, that’s not where taxpayer dollars should be going. There’s no evidence the president has done something wrong. Then you can’t pursue an investigation of it,” Chaffetz said.

He added that he’s amazed to see Democrats’ “newfound belief in openness, transparency and honesty,” pointing out that they did not support him when he wanted to investigate Benghazi, the IRS scandal or Hillary Clinton’s emails.

“But because it’s Donald Trump, suddenly they’ve got a new set of principles that they’re wanting to engage in.”

“But because it’s Donald Trump”…

…It was okay for the DOJ and the FBI under Former President Barack Hussein Obama to begin a full-blown investigation of a Presidential Candidate from the opposition party with nothing to go on except documents manufactured by Christopher Steele and Clinton confidantes Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer.

…Almost every political polling service known to man predicted that the “Queen of Mean” Hillary Clinton was going to be our 45th President. Did those pollsters who post Democrat-weighted polls know that “the fix was in”?

…Average Americans living between America’s coasts were renamed “Deplorables”.

…The Main Stream Media completely dropped their mask and became the full-blown Propaganda Arm of the Far Left Democratic Party, attacking Trump day and night while ignoring the transgressions of the Clintons and their fellow Democratic Party Politicians.

…Virulent, vicious Liberal Trolls, paid and unpaid, from all over the world, began to troll his Twitter Account, attempting to embarrass Trump and badger him into quitting.

…A Special Counsel was seated and given the authority to exceed his authority, i.e., “whatever it takes to get Trump out of office”.

…His family has been unmercifully harassed and lied about.

…A Democratic House of Representatives refused to defend our Sovereign Nation from illegal aliens who are murdering and assaulting our citizens, claiming that “walls don’t work” while living in majestic mansions surrounded by…you guessed it…walls.

Finally…

…Our nation’s Unemployment Rates for EVERYONE are at record low levels, our gas prices are low, home ownership is on the rise, our enemies know that there is a new sheriff in town, and our Brightest and Best and the Men and Women in Blue have a president who respects and appreciates them.

So, Speaker Pelosi , Rep. Cummings, AOC, and the rest of you who want to waste your time attempting to “get Trump” instead of serving the American People…
