The “Defund the Police” Movement, When It Actually Started, and Why It is Still a Bad Idea

Several members of the Minneapolis City Council this week have expressed support for radical changes to how the city handles law enforcement, including a move to “dismantle” the police department and replace it with “a transformative new model for public safety.”

Jeremiah Ellison, the son of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and a representative of the city’s Ward 5, explicitly led calls to “dramatically rethink” how the city keeps its people safe.

“We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department,” he tweeted. “And when we’re done, we’re not simply gonna glue it back together. We are going to dramatically rethink how we approach public safety and emergency response. It’s really past due.”

His call was echoed by Lisa Bender, the president of the city council.

“Yes,” she said in response to Ellison. “We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a transformative new model of public safety.”

That was not the first time Bender had addressed calls to “dismantle” the city’s police force this week, however. On Wednesday she posted a thread about how a “white person” should think about dismantling the police.

“If you are a comfortable white person asking to dismantle the police I invite you to reflect: are you willing to stick with it? Will you be calling in three months to ask about garage break-ins? Are you willing to dismantle white supremacy in all systems, including a new system?” she said. “I mean this quite sincerely & seriously: just look at recent conversations about City-funded neighborhood organizations to understand how explicitly we would have to work to establish alternative systems that do not replicate the same problems. White ppl need to show up for this.”

Bender on Tuesday also said “I support continued diversion of funds from law enforcement to other priorities,” following calls from many to “defund the police.”

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Bender sees the city’s potentially revamped public safety force as potentially sending social workers or other civilian personnel into situations that are traditionally handled by police.

Another council member to come out with calls for taking apart the city’s police department is Alondra Cano, who tweeted that “[t]he Mpls Police Department is not reformable” and “[c]hange is coming.”

Meanwhile, the president of the Minneapolis police union wrote a letter calling the riots in the city a “terrorist movement” and calling elected officials’ efforts to find fault in the police department “despicable.”

“Our chief requested 400 more officers and was flatly denied any,” Bob Kroll said. “This is what led to this record-breaking riot.”

He added: “I’ve worked with the four defense attorneys that are representing each of the four terminated individuals under criminal investigation, in addition with our labor attorneys to fight for their jobs. They were terminated without due process.”

Steve Fletcher, also a member of the Minneapolis City Council, condemned Kroll and the police union in a long thread in which he said the city should “declare policing as we know it a thing of the past.”

“Bob Kroll’s letter yesterday to the Minneapolis Police Federation membership showed us what rank-and-file officers voted for in their leadership, and it is yet another sign that the department is irredeemably beyond reform,” Fletcher said. “After watching MPD officers escalate and provoke anger all week, he asserts that if they’d only been allowed to use more violence, they could have put a stop to demonstrations. This is nonsense. MPD officers chose him as their leader.”

Fletcher continued: “I don’t know yet, though several of us on the council are working on finding out, what it would take to disband the MPD and start fresh with a community-oriented, non-violent public safety and outreach capacity.”

According to the Star Tribune, the council is expected to vote Friday on a measure stemming from a state investigation into the police department that could make smaller changes in the short term. Bender, however, said the move is “not meant to be anywhere near starting this bigger conversation,” according to the paper.

Minneapolis isn’t the only city to consider major changes to its police department, either. The Los Angeles Times reported that Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will try and cut between $100 million to $150 million from its police budget alone. But the proposed cuts to the LAPD don’t appear to include the kind of structural changes to the law enforcement apparatus proposed in Minneapolis.

The Liberals in Minneapolis and every other city who wants to “Defund the Police” have lost their minds.

What are they going to do? Post “This is a Gun-Free Zone” signs all over their cities to discourage the criminals?

Tell all of the Gang Bangers to hand over their guns?

I know.

Since Minnesota Attorney General and his family are all Muslims, perhaps they plan on installing Sharia Law in Minneapolis.

After all, they do have a large Somalian population there, who gave us the America-hating, Anti-Semite, Far Left Democrat Congressional Representative Ilhan Omar

They should have kept her to themselves.

Anyway, where did this idea of “community policing” come from?

On July 2, 2008, Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama proclaims in a speech:

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set,” he said. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

This part of Barack Hussein Obama’s political platform was quickly hidden away, never to be spoken of again.

At least, not openly.

As is my wont to do, I have been thinking back over Obama’s Imperial Presidency, and his statements concerning America’s Municipal Law Enforcement Organizations.

When issues involving law enforcement arose during his presidency, time and again, Obama came on the opposite side from every single local law enforcement organization.

Now, isn’t the President of the United States supposed to be on the side of Law and Order?

I know for a fact that the current one is.

Why would Barack Hussein Obama not support local law enforcement?

Perhaps, because he wanted to build a National Municipal Law Enforcement Organization, under his command and the command of the Department of Justice.

Fast forward to today…

All of the cities and states which have experienced “trouble”  with police departments happen to be Blue States with Democrats in charge of State and Municipal Governments.

Instead of relying on traditional police departments and the American System of Law and Order, Democrats like those in the Minneapolis City Council want to have the power to circumvent the American System of Justice because of their issues in the past with it.

The death of ex-convict George Floyd and the ensuing riots and staged protests across the nation have given them the excuse to attempt to defund police departments.

While it does appear that the accused officers acted improperly, just like Mr. Floyd did when he was still alive, they deserve their day in court.

And, just like a criminal does not represent an entire race, neither do bad policemen represent an entire nation’s Law Enforcement Officers.

So, please allow me to end today’s post with the text of a classic narration by the late, great Paul Harvey  titled “What is a Policeman?”

“A policeman is a composite of what all men are, I guess, a mingling of saint and sinner, dust and deity. What that really means is that they are exceptional, they are unusual. They are not commonplace. Buried under the froth is the fact, the fact is that less than one half of one percent of policeman misfit that uniform, and that is a better average than you’d find among clergymen.“What is a policeman?

“He of all men is at once the most needed, and the most wanted, a strangely nameless creature who is sir to his face and pig or worse behind his back. “He runs files and writes reports until his eyes ache to build a case against some felon who will get dealt out by some shameless shamus. The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy, and a gentle man. And of course, he’ll have to be a genius, because he’ll have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.”

NBC News Op Ed: “Drew Brees’ Biggest Mistake? Believing the American Flag Means Anything”…Why They Are Wrong

It is the night of September 13, 1814. The British fleet are bombarding Fort McHenry in the harbor at Baltimore, Maryland. Francis Scott Key, a 34-year old lawyer-poet, is watching the attack from the deck of a British prisoner-exchange ship. Key had gone seeking the release of a friend. They were told that they had to remain aboard the vessel until the end of the attack. When the battle was over, the following morning, Key had his telescope on the fort and saw the American flag was still waving. The sight of the tattered Stars and Stripes was so moving that he pulled a letter from his pocket and began to write the poem. This poem eventually became the national anthem of the United States – “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’ the perilous fight’
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming.

It does, sir. Regardless of a bunch of little snot-nosed, ungrateful punks.

An opinion piece published by NBC News claimed that NFL superstar Drew Brees’ “biggest mistake” when defending the American flag was “believing” that it “means anything.”

Brees unwittingly sparked a national firestorm when he defended the flag when asked during an interview about the kneeling protests that have taken place at football games over the years, insisting it was a sign of “disrespect.”

However, amid the political climate following the death of George Floyd, Brees was widely condemned even by many NFL players. The star New Orleans Saints quarterback later apologized for his remarks.

On Thursday, NBC News’ “THINK” page teased the column, “Drew Brees’ biggest mistake?’ Believing the American flag means anything.” The column’s actual headline read, “Drew Brees’ comments on George Floyd protest prioritize symbols over justice.”

“[Brees] has unfortunately become the poster child for what happens when you venerate a hollow space wrapped up in red, white and blue,” writer Noah Berlatsky claimed. “Brees believed that his comments honored the flag and America’s ideals. But valuing a symbol of justice over justice itself isn’t moral or righteous. It’s the opposite. When honoring the flag is the price of justice, then the flag does not symbolize justice. It symbolizes force, inequality and racism. It’s a flag of conquest for white people, not of mercy or freedom for all.”

Berlatsky then compared Brees’ meaning of the American flag, which Brees said reminded him of his grandfathers who served in World War II, to 1852 remarks made by Frederick Douglass describing Independence Day, “the sunlight that brought light and healing to you, has brought stripes and death to me.”

“Brees wants his interpretation of the flag honored; everyone, he insists, should put their hands on their hearts before the flag to show ‘that we are all in this together.’ But some people, like Douglass, or Floyd, or Kaepernick — banned from Brees’ league for his protest — are not equals in America,” Berlatsky explained. “Brees will not stand in solidarity with them unless they first respect his symbols. You have to say the nation is righteous before the nation will consider whether to stop murdering you.”

He continued, “There is no unity and solidarity centered on the flag, because the flag, and the nation, don’t have any virtue. Only human beings can have that. [Kaepernick] asked his country to think about its own symbols, rather than blindly worshipping them. Brees, and white Americans in general, have not risen to this challenge. This nation must care more about its soul than its symbols. It’s better to burn a flag than a person.”

It is not acceptable to burn either one.

These ungrateful punks make me want to puke.

So where does this disrespect for Old Glory come from?

It starts with Liberal leaders.

Let’s go back to 9/13/11, 2 days after America solemnly remembered the 10th anniversary of the worst attack ever on American soil by Islamic Terrorists. James Robbins wrote the following story for The Washington Times, in which he illuminated a whispered conversation between the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, and First Lady, Michelle Obama:

The internet was buzzing this week with video of First Lady Michelle Obama apparently showing extreme disrespect to the American flag at a ceremony in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. As police and firefighters fold the flag to the sound of marching bagpipers, a skeptical looking Mrs. Obama leans to her husband and appears to say, “all this just for a flag.” She then purses her lips and shakes her head slightly as Mr. Obama nods.

Over the last 10 years, I have repeated the story of how my father, a young man from Helena, Arkansas, stepped out of perfectly good boat, along with thousands of other young American soldiers, into the firestorm known as D-Day.

On that day, thousands of Americans lost their lives defending the same flag that the ungrateful imbecile writing the above NBC News op ed believes means nothing at all.

The writer’s opinion is reflective of the same heinous attitude of those who have looted and rioted in major American cities from coast to coast this past week.

Anarchy and selfish ingratitude know no color.

However, it does require a lack of discipline…and character in the individual who possesses those traits.

Y’know…I do not believe that the Tuskegee Airmen believed that the flag that they fought and died for symbolized “force, inequality and racism”.

And, I believe that if you approached Lt. Col. Allen West talking in that manner about the American Flag, you would receive a dressing down that would leave your hair on fire and your butt smoking.

The flag of this Sovereign Nation is more than just a symbol.

The very fact that it still flies is a testament to a lot of very brave men and women who sacrificed everything in order to secure our liberty.

Thinking about the sacrifices made by some many to protect future generations from tyranny causes any eloquence which I may possess to escape me.

Hillary’s Former Press Secretary Joins BLM in Calling to “Defund The Police”…Probably Lives in a Gated Community

Former Hillary Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon took heat on Thursday for calling to “defund the police” as the nation is gripped with protests and riots against police brutality.

The “defund the police” movement has gained traction by Black Lives Matter activists following the death of George Floyd. 

Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley asked Fallon on Twitter if this was now the “official position” of the Democratic Party.

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell called on the Biden campaign to condemn the rhetoric immediately.

“Obama-Biden Justice Department Spokesman calls for defunding the police,” Grenell wrote. “This must be widely condemned by the Biden campaign immediately.”

“Hillary Clinton press secretary makes the 2020 Dem agenda clear: ‘Defund the police.’ Take away your guns. Cheer on the rioters & looters who burn your city,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said on Twitter. ”It’s like Mad Max at Thunderdome, brought home to America.”

“Wealthy liberals like Hillary Clinton’s former press assistant have no problem calling to defund the police—they can live in gated communities and hire security guards,” said Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark.

White House Director of Strategic Communications Alyssa Farrah sarcastically called Fallon’s tweet “brave.”

“How brave! This, coming from Hillary Clinton’s former Spox who rode around in motorcades with her with Police escorts to keep them safe,” she said.

Though the push has gained traction online, a leader with the Congressional Black Caucus seemed to reject the demand on Wednesday.

“No, I don’t believe that we should defund police departments,” said caucus chairwoman Rep. Karen Bass, noting that she was “not familiar” with that demand from Black Lives Matter and would further consult them.

Bass on Wednesday joined with the leaders of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the Congressional Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus and members of the Congressional Native American Caucus to call for legislation to condemn police brutality and reform police departments. Leaders predicted a package of reform bills could pass later this June.

Activists calling to defund police departments want resources diverted to other investments in the black community, such as education, health care and other community services.

The #DefundThePolice petition has gotten the support of liberal celebrities, including singer John Legend.

But the progressive movement doesn’t appear to be gaining traction in the House. Instead of zeroing out police department budgets, lawmakers are focused on police reforms. The proposals are still being developed, but Bass outlined the broad themes of the “comprehensive” legislation: holding police accountable, identifying bad cops and training officers.

The House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on the police reforms next week, Bass said, which will jumpstart the House’s legislative response. Details of the forthcoming committee hearing have not yet been released.

The package of bills is being developed with the Congressional Black Caucus and Sens. Cory Booker, D-N.J.,  and Kamala Harris, D-Calif., in the Senate.

So, why do Democrats like Former (Thank God) President Barack Hussein Obama and others support a radical organization whose goal is to “radically Change America through fermenting Racial Animus and Racial Division?

By the time President Lyndon Baines Johnson came into office, after the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the majority of Americans totally believed that our government always had our best interest at heart.

President Johnson came into office and immediately started his push for the Great Society. These programs were designed to make Americans even more dependent on the Federal Government for their very survival.

As the Vietnam War grew more and more and unpopular, Americans’ trust in the government became more and more compromised.  Protests against the Federal Government became more and more common and it became cool to be a rebel or “hippie”.

Time passed, and while rebellious Americans calmed down, Americans’ dependence upon government programs became generational, as multiple family members from one generation to the next, relied on Uncle Sugar for their daily existence.

Meanwhile, the rebels of the 1960’s got older and began to work within the system, taking jobs within the private and public sectors.

Eventually, they moved into positions of power, becoming heads of corporations and local and national politicians.

It is not really necessary to tell you what the political ideology of these rebels was, is it?

As the last century ended and the new one began, these hippies and their offspring, solidly in place in the halls of power, began to pass more more legislation designed to keep generations of Americans enslaved to Uncle Sugar.

What we are witnessing during he “George Floyd Riots”, which are really not about George Floyd at all, is the result of anti-establishment rhetoric, spewed forth by those who are now actually now “the Establishment”, taking hold, and spreading Class Envy and Racial Animus in such a way as to inspire violent retaliation for perceived “grievances” against a fictional “White Establishment”, which actually is more representative of the Democrats who control them, and the Police, who are seen as the emissaries of “The Man”, “keeping Black Americans down”, when, in reality, Gang Violence,  Black-on-Black Homocides, and abortions, are doing more to damage the “Black Community” than “systemic racism” has.

And, now, across the nation in Democrat-run cities, Political Activists, supported by Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and funded by a guy who ratted out his Jewish Neighbors to the Nazis in Germany are attempting to “Defund the Police” and to destroy our Constitutional Republic and replace with a Marxist form of Anarchy.

It’s reminiscent of Lenin and the Bolsheviks.

Feds Investigating “Coordinated Command and Control” of Riots Across Country, “Refuse Fascism” Planning Several “Protests” For This Saturday

Federal law enforcement officials are probing whether “criminal actors” are coordinating violent activities during protests and are looking into reports that “rocks and bricks” have been dropped off to throw at police and other law enforcement as cities across the country grapple with the uptick in violence, a senior Justice Department official said.

“You see the hallmarks… We’re trying to see if there’s a coordinated command and control, you see those bread crumbs and that’s what we’re trying to verify,” the DOJ official said.

Another DOJ official said the feds have seen signs of “very organized” coordination from “professional” agitators, some linked to Antifa.

There have been more than 100 arrests in Washington as a result of the protests and riots related to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, according to federal officials. Around 20 of those people were not charged. Meanwhile, 70 to 75 people have been charged with crimes such as assault, breaking and entering, destruction of property and other violations.

That person added that officials are looking at “trends” and the possibility that extremist groups have been involved in directing violent acts in recent days.

Another DOJ official said leads being pursued and cases being developed — related to Antifa and other extremists groups — by several different U.S. Attorneys’ offices.

The official declined to elaborate further because these cases and investigations are ongoing.

…Fox News is told federal law enforcement officials are looking at “ways in which we can exploit phones and data communications that could give us a mosaic to see if there’s a coordinated command and control, that’s what we’re looking for.”

…At least one DOJ official has described how third-party agitators – more often than not claiming to be Antifa – used the cover of mayhem to “hijack” an “important discourse” in order to destroy things.

“You get individuals from the community protesting peaceably, and what happened to George Floyd was an abomination and a crime, but then you have opportunistic looters who are out there, thugs taking advantage of the situation,” the official said.

“I’ve seen very little in the way of far-right groups, but we are looking and that may be out there.”

Most troubling: the assertion that the third-party groups are providing information to others as to how best they can avoid identification and apprehension. Most agitators came from outside the community, indicating a national level of coordination, investigators said.

An uprising has begun. Day after day, night after night, coast to coast, the streets fill with Black youth refusing to face another day in fear and people of all backgrounds who have had enough of white supremacy and a culture of soul-crushing cruelty. Comparisons to 1968 fill some with dread and some with hope, but one thing is clear. Millions have been shaken awake.

Trump has thrown down a heavy gauntlet to the people who have been heroically protesting in the face of heightened repression. Under the orders of Attorney General Bill Barr, federal forces hurled unrestrained brutality on peaceful protesters at Lafayette Park on June 1, driving them out so that Trump could rant like a police-state dictator and pose with a Bible for his Christian fascist followers. He invoked the Second Amendment to call out his armed vigilante militias, threatened to send the U.S. military into the streets to restore a fascist “law and order,” and bragged about dispatching “thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers” into D.C.

Yet the people have not cowered. In the face of all the tear gas and rubber bullets, the curfews and threats of more firepower, the rulers have proven that they are not all-powerful. For the first time under this regime, the people have seized the initiative and have not let go. In contrast to the hate and bigotry of the Trump/Pence regime, these protests are infused with a love for humanity, and those in power seem more out of touch and illegitimate by the day. The splits at the top, even among conservatives, have sharpened up. A determined struggle that doesn’t yield and won’t be provoked has created a serious political crisis. This is how regimes around the world have been forced out of power.

If Not Now, When? 

We cannot allow the Trump/Pence regime to drop the hammer and impose military rule. This will lead to a further consolidation of fascist power and a nightmare for humanity and the planet. Every move the regime makes to kill this uprising must be met with an even greater mass outpouring, in which the resolve of the protesters against police murder is strengthened with a growing defiant chorus resounding across the country: Fuck Trump!

Nor can we wait until November, when talk of election cancellation or Trump’s refusal to leave office is a common point of conversation. Now, when people are in the streets, beginning to feel their own strength, we need to add to the struggle this demand: Trump/Pence Out Now!

This fascist regime poses a catastrophic danger to the whole world, and the whole world will take heart if we rise to another level of determined resistance. We have begun, but should we fail to see it through, this and every struggle for justice will be set back. The political philosophies of Marxism and Anarchy being indoctrinated into our young people by old radicals like Weather Underground Bomber Bill Ayers are the anti-thesis of whom they and their fellow Far Left Democrats claim to be.

Ladies and gentlemen, I firmly believe that America is now fighting a new war against fascism.

It’s not a war that is being fought with guns and bullets, until now, possibly.

But instead, it is being fought with  superfluous Congressional Hearings attacking President Trump, anonymous sources, unproven baseless accusations, and the Vanguard of the Modern Democratic Party, the Main Stream Media.

It’s not our Brightest and Best who are dying on this field of battle, but rather, it is our Constitutional Freedoms and our form of government, including our System of Checks and Balances, which are dying an ignoble death, pierced by the arrows of socialism and political correctness.

By now, there’s some out there in the audience saying, “Oh Lord, the crazy old cracker’s overreacting again.”

No, Skippy, I’m not.

If you try to talk to a Liberal about this New Fascism, they will deny that there is any fascism going on at all. In fact, they will tell you that this is “the will of the people” and they will site Democratically stacked push polls in order to back their opinion up.

Liberals can not legitimately defend their positions, such as the suppression of the Second Amendment Rights of average Americans, the Silent Coup began by those members of the DOJ and FBI during the Obama Administration against now-President Trump, the “Caining” of Judge Kavanaugh, the growth of anti-Semitism within the Democratic Party, and the coordinated riots in major cities across the United States of America.

Fascism, in any form, remains indefensible.

All of this political unethical behavior being sanctioned by the Far Left Democrats is reminiscent of both the Russian Revolution and Hitler and his Brown Shirts’ “Beer Hall Putsch” which probably should have been expected, given that Antifa is now playing the role of “New Bolsheviks” attempting to clear a path for the Far Left Democrats to take over governing our Sovereign Nation, like the original Bolsheviks did for Vladimir Lenin.

Cuomo Calls De Blasio’s Response to NYC Crisis a “Disgrace” as Looting and Rioting Continues

Tense moments followed New York City’s 8 p.m. curfew Tuesday night after authorities took measures to reduce violence, vandalism and looting after days of protests.

City leaders had braced for another night of demonstrations, bolstering their presence and enforcing an even earlier curfew than the one implemented Monday.

The city, like others around the country, has been racked by protests over the death of George Floyd, which happened in Minneapolis on May 25 while he was in police custody.

In an effort to slow the violence, authorities moved city’s curfew to 8 p.m. and warned residents that only buses, delivery trucks and the vehicles of essential workers will be allowed south of 96th Street after that time. The NYPD also canceled regular days off for “all full duty uniformed members,” according to a police memo.

As part of the enhanced measures, police installed checkpoints on the streets to block unauthorized vehicles. In some places, even as protesters continued to march after the curfew, there was relative calm. But evidence of vandalism was once again visible in some parts of the city.

With less than a half hour until curfew time, thousands of protesters made their way toward Trump Tower in Manhattan. Fox News’ Bryan Llenas, who was reporting from the sidelines of the protest, shared videos of the scenes on Twitter.

They showed a heavy police presence with uniformed officers and steel fencing installed in an effort to minimize looting and violence.

“So far in NYC, it is a completely different night,” than the night before, he tweeted at 8:40.

But Fox News’ Marta Dhanis saw arrests in the city’s SoHo neighborhood and broken windows at a Manhattan Gap store.

And across the East River, as a crowd of protesters in Brooklyn approached the Manhattan Bridge at around 8:30 p.m., police blocked them off, as seen in a photo taken by Fox News science editor James Rogers.

A day earlier, protests raged — turning violent in some places with reports of looting, vandalism and even attacks on police officers. Since Saturday, the NYPD had reported about 500 burglary arrests.

“Each day, our officers leave their own families and homes to protect yours, while being shot at, having Molotov cocktails thrown into their vehicles and getting intentionally struck by cars,” NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea tweeted Tuesday. “They put their very lives on the line to fulfill the oath they took to ensure public safety.”

He was referring to an incident in which protesters allegedly hurled a Molotov cocktail into an NYPD vehicle.

Other confrontations over the past few days have involved officers being struck by hit-and-run drivers and being pelted with objects ranging from water bottles to bricks.

“I’ve got to be honest. I can’t take it. It’s so, so bad,” said Pat Brosnan, a former NYPD detective, speaking with Ed Henry on “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday.

A video shared on the Sergeants Benevolent Association’s (SBA’s) official Twitter account showed an NYPD officer being beaten by a group of men in the Bronx as onlookers shout profanities.

Critics of the city’s handling of the protests have excoriated Mayor Bill de Blasio as city officials and police try to restore the peace.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a fellow Democrat, called de Blasio’s response to the crisis a “disgrace” on Tuesday, after police said they arrested about 700 protesters overnight following the first curfew in decades, which began at 11 p.m.

He also said that de Blasio had refused assistance from the National Guard, which the mayor said would be unnecessary.

“We do not need, nor do we think it is wise for the National Guard to be in New York City. Nor any armed forces,” he told a reporter Tuesday. “When outside armed forces go into communities, no good comes of it.”

In a video posted to the New York City Police Benevolent Association’s Twitter, PBA President Patrick Lynch called on the mayor to give police officers more support and allow them to do their jobs.

“Roving gangs running up and down the street, under the guise of protests — when it’s 12 o’clock at night, it’s not a protest, it’s a riot — it’s looting,” he said. “The mayor has to say now, ‘It stops today.'”

President Trump, addressing the protests, wrote on Twitter that New York City “was ripped to pieces.”

Protesters were already out in force early Tuesday evening, marching and chanting slogans ranging from “Hands up, don’t shoot” to anti-police slurs.

Within two hours of the 8 p.m. curfew, thousands of peaceful protesters gathered in Manhattan’s Bryant Park. They eventually took a turn toward Trump Tower, which police and Secret Service officers had barricaded off, before some in the crowd began dispersing.

Mayor De Blasio must believe that his constituency and the rest of Americans have a short memory regarding how he has treated “New York’s Finest” in the past.

The New York Post reported on January 3, 2015 that

Thousands of NYPD cops turned their backs on Mayor de Blasio on Sunday outside a Brooklyn funeral home as he eulogized a murdered NYPD officer inside.

As de Blasio addressed the loved ones of Detective Wenjian Liu in the Aievoli Funeral Home in Bensonhurst, the sea of blue watching the funeral on huge TV screens outside showed their disgust for Hizzoner by turning around as he spoke.

Cops have been furious with de Blasio mainly since the grand-jury rulings involving the deaths of Staten Island dad Eric Garner and Missouri teen Michael Brown, two unarmed black men who died during confrontations with white cops. Neither cop was criminally charged.

The mayor said afterward that he worries about how his son, Dante, who is half-black, might be treated by police because of his race.

The cops say de Blasio’s comment is just another instance in which he has added to the anti-cop sentiment in the city.

Liu and Officer Rafael Ramos were sitting in their patrol car in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Dec. 20 when deranged, cop-hating killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley came up from behind to execute them. Brinsley committed suicide before cops could catch him.

Officers first turned their backs to de Blasio when he visited the hospital where Ramos and Liu were treated. They then also turned turned their backs to him outside the church where Ramos’ funeral was held Dec. 27.

NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton asked officers not to repeat that silent protest at Liu’s funeral Sunday.

De Blasio, for all of his Marxist Bravado and self- promoting propaganda, is the worst mayor in the history of the Big Apple, eclipsing even the ineffectual David Dinkins.

The city is filthy and now professional anarchists and Antifa thugs, as exhibited over the last week, are being allowed to taunt and disrespect the NYPD while they riot and loot the city, while it is all being caught on cellphones, much to the delight of the rest of the cop-hating trash in the neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, those who can afford to “Escape From New York” are continuing to get the heck out of Dodge due to an exorbitant tax rate, hitting both businesses and individuals alike.

Great legacy you’re building there, Mr. Mayor.

On the other hand, while he was a New York Businessman and Entrepreneur, Donald J. Trump was a builder, making the city he lived and worked in better for his fellow citizens, providing employment and making the city more beautiful while he was at it.

And, that gentle readers, is the difference between Far Left Democratic Politicians like Mayor Bill De Blasio and President Donald J. Trump.

De Blasio promises Utopia but delivers decay, decadence, and pandering to the worst elements in our society..

Trump Vows to “Take Immediate Action” to Stop Rioting and Looting Across the Country, Then Visits “a Very Important Place”

President Trump said during a statement in the Rose Garden on Monday that he is taking “immediate action” to mobilize “all available federal resources” to stop riots and looting across the country, threatening to deploy the military if states don’t send in the National Guard to protests.

“I will fight to protect you,” Trump said in an evening protest, ahead of what’s expected to be more protests in the city of Washington on Monday night over the death in Minnesota of George Floyd.

Immediately following the speech, in an extraordinary scene, the president and his entourage walked outside of the White House, across Lafayette Square, to St. Johns Episcopal Church, which caught on fire during the protesters the night before.

During the brief visit, the president stood in front of the boarded-up church and held up a Bible. He was accompanied by a variety of aides and officials, including Attorney General Bill Barr, daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

On Sunday night rioters set fire to the parish house at St. John’s. The parish house contains offices and parlors for gatherings. The basement, which was also torched, is used for childcare during church services, and had recently undergone renovations. However, the damage could have been “a lot worse,” according to Rev. Rob Fisher.

“I am happy to share with you that I could see no other real damage besides that one room, and quite a bit of graffiti and debris around the exterior of the church,” Fisher said on Facebook. “Protestors easily could have done a lot worse to our buildings, but they chose not to do that. (The damage I saw to other nearby buildings illustrated this point.)”

Prior to his visit, police used tear gas to disperse protesters in the park. In his speech, the president vowed to end violent protests.

“I have recommended every governor deploy the National Guard in sufficient numbers to dominate the streets,” the president said during his speech. “We are ending riots and lawlessness, we will end it today.”

Trump said he is dispatching “thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers and military personnel” to stop the rioting.

“I want organizers of this terror to be on notice that you will face severe criminal penalties,” he said.

“We cannot allow the righteous cries of peaceful protesters to be drowned out by an angry mob,” the president added. “The biggest victims of this rioting are peace-loving citizens in our poorest communities.”

…Earlier on Monday, the president unloaded on governors in a phone call, accusing them of being “weak” in their response to the riots and urging them to “dominate.”

“Most of you are weak,” Trump said. “You have to arrest people.”

“You have to dominate, if you don’t dominate you’re wasting your time,” he said, according to a senior staffer in a governor’s office who was listening to the call. “They’re going to run over you, you’re going to look like a bunch of jerks. You have to dominate.”

“You’ve got to arrest people, you have to track people, you have to put them in jail for 10 years and you’ll never see this stuff again,” said Trump. “We’re doing it in Washington, D.C. We’re going to do something that people haven’t seen before.”

Let’s face it, boys and girls. Since the riots began, President Trump has been in a no-win situation as far as the Democrats have been concerned.

If he would have sent in the National Guard and/or the Army the second day of the Antifa Uprising, the Dems would have complained that he was acting like a dictator and pulling the trigger too soon.

Now that he is about to take matters into his own hands, they are still saying he is a dictator.

However, he has left himself an out.

The Mayors and Governors of each state curently “playing host” to outside agitators from Antifa were supposed to be looking out for the American citizens under their care.

Instead, in every Blue State and city that Antifa invaded and set on fire, the governors and mayors told their police force and the National Guard to “stand by”, the same strategy used by the stupid Democratic Mayor in Baltimore during the riots after the death of Freddie Gray that caused Baltimore almost to be burned to the gound.

Just like Nero during the fall of Rome, these Democrat politicians have been fiddling while their cities burned.

They are not the only ones at fault, though.

Antifa has been recruiting young men with minds full of mush for 3 years while the FBI did nothing.

The inexplicable thing is that it has bee happening right before our very eyes.

Besides Bomber Bill Ayers’ website, RefuseFascism.org, there have been other anarchist websites all over the Dark Web.

Today’s modern technology has made it easy for anarchists all over the country to link up and to plan the attacks which we have been witnessing since last week.

The President and the Attorney General know this very well. That is why the President is naming Antifa a Domestic Terrorist Organization and why he made, excuse the expression, a barnburner of a speech last night.

While the Democrats were upset about the President standing in front of historic St John Church holding a Bible, “Big Fredo” Cuomo, the egotistical Governor of New York was refusing the President’s offer of help while rioters were gathering in the “Big Apple” for another night of “peaceful protests” (ie., rioting and looting).

I would love to see, as Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas has suggested, the 10st Airborne drop in on them.

President Trump announced Sunday that the U.S. government will designate the far-left group Antifa as a terrorist organization.

This comes as Trump has blamed Antifa for riots taking place across the country in response to the death of George Floyd, the unarmed black man who died May 25 while in police custody in Minneapolis, Minn., after an officer kneeled on his neck for more than 8 minutes in an incident caught on video.

“The United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as a Terrorist Organization,” Trump tweeted Sunday afternoon.

It remains unclear exactly who was behind the escalation what began as peaceful protests against police, with accusations lobbed against both far-left extremists and white nationalists. The president has been forceful in pointing the finger at the former.

“It’s ANTIFA and the Radical Left. Don’t lay the blame on others!” Trump tweeted Saturday.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was less decisive in stating who is behind the looting, arson, and violence that has taken place. While he called rioters “Antifa-like” during an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” he said, “I think it still remains to be seen exactly how” the situation devolved from peaceful protests to something entirely different.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison told “Fox News Sunday” he has evidence that people from out-of-state were involved in violent behavior in Minneapolis, but he did not specify whether they were affiliated with any particular group or ideology.

A resolution to designate Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization was introduced in the Senate in 2019, stating that Antifa “represents opposition to the democratic ideals of peaceful assembly and free speech for all[.]”

The measure, sponsored by Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., and co-sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, came in response to threats and actions Antifa-affiliated individuals made against ICE officials and journalist Andy Ngo

Of course, immediately after the President tweeted this, a couple of leftist reporters at The New York Times wrote an article stating that the President had no clear authority to do this.

They also claim that Antifa is not an official organization.

Well, Skippy, if you believe that the riots over the last several days all “just happened” to pop up at the same time in every major and some minor cities in America caused by a bunch of bussed-in young punks dressed in all black with black masks on then I ave two bridges over the Mississippi River at Memphis to sell you.

 

 

As I write this, members of the National Guard and the Secret Service have formed a defensive barrier between the President and his family who are in the White House and a growing army of Left Wing “Protesters” who are milling around in Lafayette Park.

Antifa, as I wrote yesterday, follows the teaching of Saul Alinsky and Adolph Hitler, and picks a target, in this case, the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis Policeman, as an excuse for their “Revolution”, in an attempt to “get what’s coming to them”.

Like Hitler did his followers, the Leaders of these “Revolutionaries”, like Former Weather Underground member “Bomber” Bill Ayers, founder of RefuseFascism.org are promising prosperity to all who follow them.

And, like these type of movements, there seems to be an endless supply of “Useful Idiots”.

Of course, the irony is, they are being funded by “Secret Power Brokers”,  including the Puppet Master himself, George Soros.

The problem that these “Revolutionaries” are facing is the fact that they remain in the minority.

The majority of Americans disagree with them.

Otherwise, Hillary Clinton would have won the Presidency.

These “spoiled brats”, like the Former Imperious President whom they worshipped as a living deity, do not care about the “Will of the People”, but, rather, they are intent on implementing and enforcing their Far Left Political Ideology, resulting in a “Tyranny of the Minority”, which we are seeing play out, as they attempt to bully and strike fear into average Americans, in order to regain the perceived power which they had under Obama’s failed presidency, while they collected their “FREE STUFF” bestowed upon them by the “benevolent masters” of the Democrat Party.

These protestors, in their immature, ego-driven rage, do not comprehend our nation’s Constitution, which they firmly believe is an antiquated “Dead ” document, with no more worth than a normal everyday piece of paper.

That Sacred Document, our United States Constitution, gives each of us the right, including the average Americans who live between the coasts and who elected President Trump, to speak our minds and be heard.

It gives those protestors that right, too…but, not at the expense of others, or damaging property like the fascist communists of Lenin’s Revolution, whom they are seeking to emulate through their attempts to circumvent the Constitution of the United States of America.

Their actions are far from noble. They are the actions taken by miserable little cowards who simply cannot accept that the majority of Americans do not believe the way that they do.

That is called “INTOLERANCE”.

It is also called FASCISM.

If they do not like it here, they are free to leave.

Fox News contributor Lawrence Jones joined “America’s News HQ” Saturday to discuss the nationwide protests and riots following the death of George Floyd, saying the majority of the violence has been instigated by “professional paid protesters” with an agenda.

“Just by my experience of reporting on protests and being in the thick of Baltimore, Ferguson, that the bad actors were people that weren’t from the area,” Jones said. “This wasn’t something that I just made up. It’s just a matter of experience and being there on the ground.

“And as you know, the [Minneapolis] mayor and the [Minnesota] governor, after records are starting to come out, they told us that all the people that they arrested were people from out of state. That’s what’s going on right now. You have people that have their own agenda that are anarchists, that are part of Antifa, that are professional paid protesters.

“I know this because as I would go to city to city, I would see some of the same faces,” Jones added. “These people’s jobs are to agitate and to stir up hatred.”

Protests took place across America Saturday in wake of the killing of Floyd, a black man, at the hands of a white Minneapolis police officer.

Jones called on Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to “establish control” of the situation.

“There has to be a clear separation between the people that are exercising constitutionally protected protest and the anarchists, the people that are there on the ground that are from the community,” Jones said. “This happened Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. This is Saturday night. And it seems to be that there is no control.”

Jones called the relationship between lawmakers and community leaders “crucial,” saying that there are legitimate protests who don’t want their message overtaken.

“I mean, these are the main people that are here, are legitimate protesters that feel like there is injustice, and there is, going on in this country and they’re speaking out against it,” Jones said. “And they don’t want that message to be clouded by people that are agitators and looters, that … have their own agenda.”

10. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

It’s very apparent from what is happening during Trump’s Presidency that somebody’s read Alinsky’s book.

When our Founding Fathers sat down to provide form and substance to the laws and procedures for governing this new country, which they had fought and won a bloody war over, by pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, they were very aware of the price of tyranny.

They determined that this new nation would be a Constitutional Republic, having had their fill of monarchies.

In order to ensure that no leader of this new nation would go mad with power, and become a tyrannical despot, our Founders set up a System of Checks and Balances, overseen by Three Branches of Government: the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial, with each branch having a distinct and LIMITED role.

The situation, which we as a nation, find ourselves in today, is one which our Founding Fathers sought valiantly to avoid.

During 8 years of a Previous Imperious Presidency, we suffered under a “Tyranny of the Minority”.

This minority was not based on color, rather, it was one based on political ideology and self-interest.

As the past several years showed before the election of Donald J. Trump as President, this minority, buoyed by money from this “sponsors”, including the Halls of Power in Washington, DC, were willing to shut down anyone who threatened “what they had” by ANY MEANS NECESSARY, including political devices and beliefs, which we, as a country, had gone to war against in the past.

After watching the spoiled brats of the Antifa Movement riot in Democrat-run cities for the last several nights,  I have noticed that they do not seem to grasp is that America is, as I stated earlier, a Constitutional Republic.

Our Presidents do not ascend into office by mob rule.

No, boys and girls, the following quote did not come from the Antifa Group Refuse Fascism’s website, although it certainly reads like something they would write.

This quote comes from the Jewish Virtual Library. It is taken from a speech, delivered in 1942, given on the 19th Anniversary of the “Beer Hall Putsch”, by German Chancellor Adolph Hitler.

The Beer Hall Putsch was an incident that took place on November 8, 1923, when Nazi troops under the direction of Hermann Goering surrounded the a beer hall in Munich, Germany. At 8:30 p.m., Hitler and his storm troopers burst into the beer hall causing instant panic. Hitler announced to the crowd that the Revolution had begun, and went to the back room of the hall to try to persuade the local officials to capitulate to him. They wouldn’t. Hitler’s attempt to seize power that night failed. But, thanks to word of mouth, and Hitler’s use of propaganda, a seed was planted, that would eventually lead to World War II.

Hitler eventually rose to power by preying upon the economic despair, hopelessness, and avarice of the German people, whose country was savaged by the Great Depression of 1929.

Hitler chose his nation’s Jewish Population as his scapegoat, blaming them for Germany’s plight. He soon attracted legions of young men, swayed by his propaganda, who began to march the streets of Germany, intimidating anyone who dared to disagree with them.

Hitler formed a political party, naming it The National Socialist Party, which led to he and his thugs being called “Nazis”.

The era became known as the “Rise of Fascism”.

As I have related before, according to various sources, during the Nazi Occupation of Hungary in the 1940s, the Funder of moveon.org and the never-ending protests against President Donald J. Trump by groups such as Refuse Fascism and BLM, George Soros , reported his own countrymen to the Nazis, facilitating their removal via “the long train ride from which very few ever returned”.

These Modern Day Bolsheviks are unknowingly doing the bidding of evil fascists themselves, just as the original Bolsheviks did.

The Antifa, the BLM, and all of the other radicalized “Social Organizations” are carrying out the Machiavellian Plans of a very evil man, who almost bankrupted England, and, in his long life, has stood for the very things which these “Social Justice Warriors” claim to be fighting against.

As “Spontaneous” Riots Erupt Across America at the Same Time, Questions Emerge as to Who is Coordinating and Funding Them

The White House was under a brief lockdown Friday night as protests erupted across the country over the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd, bringing tensions to a boiling point and forcing one of the Twin Cities to issue a curfew while demonstrators clashed with police across the U.S.

Fox News and other members of the press were immediately moved inside as the White House went into lockdown. A dozen reporters were said to be inside the West Wing. One of the protestors was later taken into custody by the Secret Service outside the White House Friday night.

Floyd, a black man, died in police custody this week after a white officer pinned him down by pressing his knee into the back of Floyd’s neck while Floyd repeatedly said he couldn’t breathe. The officer, Derek Chauvin, was fired and on Friday was charged with murder. Three other police officers were also fired but have not been charged.

Minneapolis authorities have imposed an overnight curfew in an attempt to prevent more destruction and, at time, violent protests that had pursued for three days.

The Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct was broken into by a crowd of protesters and set fire, Thursday night.

Protests have broken out across the country. In Atlanta, demonstrators spray-painted and broke windows of CNN’s Atlanta headquarters.

One protester climbed up onto the CNN building and waived a “black lives matter” sign as hundreds of other protesters pelted police with bottles.

Police officers reportedly backed their lines away and ordered the protesters to leave, threatening arrest if they did not.

Several of the bottles thrown contained accelerate, and an American flag was lit on fire as protestors yelled at the police, “Quit your jobs.”

Protesters later threw rocks and smoke grenades into the lobby and fired BB rounds, according to reporters on the ground.

The protest reportedly started peacefully and quickly became destructive after there was an interaction between a police officer and a protester outside the headquarters.

Protesters climbed onto parked police vehicles, smashed the windows and lit one of the cars on fire.

A firecracker was also thrown at police officers barricading the CNN Center.

Several buildings in the downtown area in Atlanta have been vandalized, according to local news outlets.

Large crowds also took to the streets in New York City for the second day Friday. Roughly 70 people were arrested after the protests became rowdy, traffic was shut down and several police officers were injured.

NYPD officers reportedly became violent using their nightsticks and pepper spray outside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn Friday night.

Some of the protesters were said to be carrying brass knuckles and knives, while others reportedly threw trash and garbage cans at NYPD officers.

Protesters chanted “I can’t breathe” — the last words of Eric Garner, who died in police custody in 2014 after being taken down by NYPD officers on Staten Island, drawing a parallel to Floyd’s death earlier this week.

Hundreds of people turned up in Charlotte, N.C., to march in protest Friday night. But the demonstrations turned destructive as at least one police car tire was slashed and several windows were broken at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police substation, according to a local news outlet.

Police officers responded by throwing tear gas at protesters and several people have been arrested, the police department said.

A demonstration in Denver also turned violent Friday and three people were taken into custody.

“Let not the story be about the riots and protests. Let’s keep the focus on the life that was lost,” Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said.

“I want to express our nation’s deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathies to the family of George Floyd,” President Trump said at a roundtable Friday. “I spoke to members of the family, terrific people.”

Andy Ngo, the journalist who was attacked by an Antifa Group has reported that Antifa and Back Lives Matter are both involved in the riots we are witnessing.

The anti-police Black Lives Matter movement started in 2014 following the shooting death of black youth Michael Brown by white police officer Darren Wilson.

Rioting and violent protests erupted nationwide after a grand jury refused to indict Wilson, saying he acted in self-defense. Residents of the predominantly black community of Ferguson, Missouri, claimed officer Wilson was let off because of systemic racism.

In 2014, then-president Barack Obama’s Department of Justice later cleared officer Darren Wilson of any wrongdoing.

Billionaire investor George Soros has donated millions of dollars to Black Lives Matter through his Open Society Foundation.

George Soros has financed “protestors” for years now, going as far as trying to infiltrate Republican Nominee Donald J. Trump’s Campaign Rallies before he 2016 Presidential Election.

His deep involvement in the Ferguson Riots, along with his funding of Back Lives Matter and Antifa Groups like Refuse Fascism reveals a pattern of behavior which makes him the likely money behind the “spontaneous” protests which have erupted in cities like Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles and across the street from the White House.

In my opinion, it is time to freeze the assets of George Soros and to deport him from our Sovereign Nation which he seeks to “radically change”…

NBC News Tells Its Reporters to Call Minneapolis Riots, “Protests”…Who are You Going to Believe, NBC or Your Own Eyes?

Yesterday, on his nationally-syndicated radio program, Rush Limbaugh made the following observation…

The media is viewing Minneapolis looters as protesters.But Americans protesting to go back to work? Why, those are dangerous lunatics! Americans demanding to be let out, Americans demanding that their jobs be reopened, Americans demanding to go back to work are being treated as major problems — major lunatics, great threats to the health of America — whereas the people looting stores in Minneapolis are called “protesters.”

And if you take a look, look at who has been savagely condemned by the media. It’s people reopening their businesses. Not the people burning businesses. Not people looting them. Not the people tearing them down. In the media’s world, the people reopening their businesses are being savagely condemned — or people going to a swimming pool in the Ozarks, or people going to a beach somewhere.

They’re being condemned by the media as risky, as dangerous, as uncaring lunatics. And in the media’s world, this is all because the looters and the rioters were properly triggered. Their actions are completely understandable in Mediaville, in the media world because they were properly triggered, and so they are labeled “protesters.”

“Protests that turned violent,” now. Whereas opening up businesses and going to pool parties “too soon” is “premeditated manslaughter.”

NBC News came under scrutiny Thursday for allegedly telling its reporters to refer to the events in Minneapolis this week as “protests” and not “riots,” according to one of its anchors.

Craig Melvin, an MSNBC host and co-anchor of “Today,” shed some light as to how his network is framing its reporting.

“This will guide our reporting in MN. ‘While the situation on the ground in Minneapolis is fluid, and there has been violence, it is most accurate at this time to describe what is happening there as ‘protests’ — not riots,'” Melvin tweeted Thursday morning.

Melvin’s tweet raised eyebrows among critics who accused the network of downplaying the violence that took place in the city to protest the death of George Floyd.

“What kind of alternate reality is this where the mass looting and burning of businesses is not considered a riot by a news network? A protest is what we had here in LA last night. What’s happening in Minneapolis is the textbook definition of a riot. Protesters don’t loot. Period,” local Fox affiliate reporter Bill Melugin tweeted.

“Tell that to the store owners whose businesses burned down,” Media Research Center Vice President Dan Gainor tweeted in response.

“NBC says that the riots are not riots. Those ‘protests’ must have magically caused spontaneous combustion that lit buildings on fire, threw flatscreen TVs into the hands of innocent ‘protestors’ and caused hands to slam hammers into cash registers. What a wild series of events!” filmmaker Robby Starbuck tweeted.

NBC News did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

The protests in the Twin Cities were sparked by the death of 46-year-old George Floyd, a black man who died Monday after a white police officer kneeled on his neck for several minutes as he was being arrested over alleged forgery.

Video footage that went viral from the arrest showed Floyd telling the police officer “I can’t breathe” as passersby begged the officers to get off him. Moments later, his lifeless body was laying on the ground.

The four police officers involved with the arrest have been fired from the Minneapolis Police Department. Criminal charges have yet to be made but a federal investigation is underway.

What NBC News did in the above article is that same thing that they have been doing for decades: viewing reality through a Liberal lens.

They, like the rest of the Main Stream Media, believe that they should decide what we, as average Americans, should believe about current events, not what we see with our own eyes.

When Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. locked arms with his supporters, black and white, to attempt to make a difference in the fight against inequality, that was a protest.

What vandals and looters have been doing since yesterday in Minneapolis and New York, vandalizing property and looting stores, threatening anyone who stands in their away is called RIOTING.

While nonviolent protests can be a noble endeavor, if for a legitimate cause, rioting is a selfish activity causing destruction and violence, often leading to more death than the original excuse for the riot.

If we were still in the days of the Roman Empire, when Christians were fed to hungry lions for sport in front of the crowds at the Roman Coliseum, the Main Stream Media, including NBC News, would take the side of the lions, defending them as being undernourished.

If the policy makers at NBC News believe that they are expressing the views of the majority of Americans in this matter, then they are living in a Liberal Echo Chamber of their own design.

The vandals and looters who are taking advantage of the death of George Floyd to incite violence and steal from and destroy businesses deserve national condemnation, not “understanding”.

They also deserve to be looking at the inside of a jail cell.
