#CreepyJoe Trends on Twitter After Biden Leans Over and Whispers His Responses to Reporters at Press Conference…Will He Even Last in Office Until Fall?

President Joe Biden trended on Twitter for what many are calling a “creepy” interaction with the press during a press conference on Thursday.

Biden held a press conference at the White House to share his thoughts on the announcement that a bipartisan group of senators came to a tentative deal on an infrastructure bill. Throughout the press conference, the behaved in a bizarre manner, repeatedly leaning over the podium and answered reporters’ questions in a whisper.

Townhall posted on Twitter a compilation video of Biden’s press conference, where he leaned in to whisper his responses to the press. This caused the hashtag “Creepy Joe” to trend on Twitter with a few lawmakers like Republican Reps. Andy Biggs, Ariz., and Claudia Tenney, N.Y., to comment on how “creepy” the president was being.

…Biden’s behavior at press conferences have made headlines recently. Last week, Biden came under fire for yelling at CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins for asking about his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Biden touted the $1.2 bipartisan infrastructure deal during the press conference, but he also threatened to not sign the legislation unless Congress also passed a separate “human infrastructure” bill that could cost up to $6 trillion.

A lot of fun has been had at Biden’s expense over the fact that he is losing his war with dementia.

However, in terms of the safety of our country’s citizens and our nation’s continued existence, it is definitely not a laughing matter.

Any American who paid attention during the campaign soon figured out that Biden has some serious mental and physical health issues.

It was one thing to over look his inappropriate behavior during the Obama Presidency when he was just the Vice-President and Obama, Susan Rice, and Valerie Jarret were running the show, anyway.

However, when the time came for Biden to start appearing during the Democrat Primaries and then, the Presidential Campaign itself, it was quite obvious that “Lunch Bucket Joe” was shy a potato chip or two.

Now, the President of the United States of America reminds average Americans of their relatives who live in nursing homes whom they have not seen in a while because they cannot bear to witness them deteriorating like Biden is.

HIs wife, “Dr.” Jill Biden and the rest of his Handlers can try as hard as they can to hide his condition.

Unfortunately, as we have noticed, Joe is declining physically as well as mentally.

Vice-President Kamala Harris and the Democrat Elites know that Joe’s time in the Oval Office is limited.

That is another reason why Harris is still talking to world leaders directly.

And, why she is limiting her public appearances so that the country will not notice what a lightweight she is.

Please reference how addled “Sleepy Joe” looked as he made fun of the Second Amendment on Wednesday and then, whispered to reporters, yesterday/

Kamala might as well be ready to assume the Presidency.

Biden’s tenure as President will end before the year is out….perhaps by Fall.

As Democrats Continue to Try to Defund The Police, Biden Insists That “Crime Prevention” Equals Gun Control…Totalitarianism, Anyone?

President Biden in remarks Wednesday said his crime prevention strategy would focus on strengthening background checks, banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and boosting community policing.

Biden met with state and local leaders and law enforcement officials ahead of his remarks to talk crime prevention strategy, amid a surge in violence in cities across the U.S.

Both Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland, who spoke before him, pointed to a historic rise in crime in the summertime, and said that rise “may be more pronounced” as the nation comes out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The White House has insisted curbing gun violence is key to tamping down a “staggering” surge of crime across the U.S.

“Talk to most responsible gun owners they’ll tell you there’s no possible justification for having 100 rounds in a magazine,” Biden said.

Biden also took aim at an argument used by Second Amendment advocates, that the right to self-defense needed to protect against potential government tyranny.

“Those who say the blood of Patriots, you know, and all the stuff about how we’re gonna have to move against the government,” Biden said. “If you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.”

“We’re not changing the Constitution. We’re enforcing it,” the president continued.
Biden touted “zero tolerance” for gun dealers who willfully violate the law, and claimed that 90% of illegal guns found at crime scenes were traced back to 5% of gun dealers.

The “zero-tolerance” policy targets federally licensed firearms dealers who “willfully” transfer a weapon to someone prohibited from owning one or ignore a tracing request from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The ATF would seek to revoke the dealer’s license after the first offense, a senior White House official said.

“If you willfully sell a gun to someone who’s prohibited from possessing it, if you willfully fail to run a background check, if you willfully falsify a record … my message to you is this: We’ll find you and we will seek your license to sell guns,” Biden said.

The National Rifle Association said the Biden initiative was an attempt to distract from the true causes of a rise in crime.

“This is a political red herring aimed at hiding the real and abysmal failures of the Biden administration,” NRS spokeswoman Amy Hunter told Fox News. “Crime rates are high because of the efforts to defund the police and a failure to prosecute career criminals. The simple fact is strict enforcement of existing laws – including gun laws – coupled with support of law enforcement and prosecutors to do their jobs would result in a dramatic decrease in crime. But, the president would rather play politics than make Americans safer.”

Biden also boasted of “historic funding for crime prevention” in the $350 billion for state and local governments, from the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package, that can be used by cities to hire law enforcement officers, pay overtime, prosecute gun traffickers and invest in technology to make law enforcement more efficient. Officials said the Biden administration hoped cities would choose to use the money for alternatives to policing, too, and to invest in community policing models.

The administration has also taken aim at “ghost guns” and modified firearms, which are homemade firearms without serial numbers that can be used to trace them, making it difficult for law enforcement to determine where, by whom, or when they were manufactured and to whom they were sold.

The Justice Department’s ATF last month sought to update the legal definition of “firearm” in an effort to crack down on ghost guns.

Biden also pushed hiring programs to keep young people busy and off the streets during the summer months, as they’re often both the target and perpetrators of such violence. Biden said such programs encouraged youth to “pick up a paycheck instead of a pistol.”

The president said the DOJ has created five new “strike forces” to crack down on illegal gun trafficking cartels and called on the Senate to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, thereby closing the “boyfriend loophole” to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers.

During the Democratic Primary Candidates Debates last year, Candidate Joe Biden said,

“150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie (Sanders) voted to exempt the gun manufacturers from liability, more than all the wars, including Vietnam from that point on.”

The heavily inflated figure misrepresented gun deaths in America since 2007. From 2007 to 2017, the number of firearm deaths in the U.S. was 373,663. This number includes both violent firearm deaths and unintentional or accidental deaths, according to the Center for American Progress, an organization that promotes progressive values.

More in line with Biden’s figures, an analysis of FBI statistics by the Center found that from 2008 through 2017, more than 1.5 million aggravated assaults involved a firearm, with rates varying significantly across the states.

“If I’m elected, NRA [the National Rifle Association], I’m coming for you and gun manufacturers, I’m gonna take you on and I’m gonna beat you,” Biden said.

For years, Democrat politicians like the Dummy From Delaware have been on a crusade to pass stricter and stricter gun control laws, literally foaming at the mouth to take the right to own guns, guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, away from average law-abiding Americans.

I have always wondered why they have never attempted to get tough with those who break our laws by committing gun violence, instead of trying to take away our Constitutional Right to be able to defend ourselves.

Was it just naiveté on the part of Democrats …or something else?

And then…the Democrats built a wall around our nation’s Capitol.

And, I wondered no more.

Today’s Democrat Elite have allowed their own arrogance to blossom into totalitarianism.

Their zeal to radically change our Constitutional Republic into just another Democratic Socialist failure of a country, like those in Europe and South America, has led them to no longer wish to hear any other political opinions except their own.

The Democrats, led by the Biden-Harris Administration, through their push for continued lockdowns, expanded “Unemployment” payments, flooding our Southern Border with illegal aliens, and now, attempting to abridge our Second Amendment Rights, are employing a political strategy designed to turn America into a country whose people have restricted liberty given to them by an all-powerful Central Government, instead of by “Our Creator”.

Sound familiar?

Sure, Sleepy Joe told us yesterday that he and his fellow totalitarians are “not changing the Constitution”…”they’re enforcing it”, meaning that their going after our guns is not an abridgement of our Second Amendment Rights.

And, Germany’s National Socialist Party told the European Jews that they were simply going to be “relocated”.

The name of the game, boys and girls, is ‘CONTROL”.

Give the Democrats an inch and they will take a mile.

Those who have come before us did not give up their lives on the field of battle while preserving our liberty for us to willingly give it away to a demented doddering old fool who cannot even read a teleprompter correctly.

 Those whom we have elected to represent us in Washington MUST fight for our American Freedoms.

Or, we need to boot them out and replace them with those who will.

Senate Republicans Block Erroneously Named “For The People Act” Bill Designed to Keep Democrats in Power Forever

Senate Republicans Tuesday blocked sweeping legislation on election and campaign finance reforms that Democrats said is crucial to ensuring voting rights and saving democracy but the GOP blasted as a partisan power grab.

The “For the People Act” needed 60 votes to clear a procedural vote in the Senate Tuesday, but Republicans filibustered and killed the legislation from advancing to debate. No Republicans joined with the 50 Democrats on the motion to proceed.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Republicans won’t stand for Democrats’ attempt to impose new voting standards on states that would “rig” elections in their favor. He called the substance of the nearly 900-page bill “rotten” to its core.

Republicans took issue with imposing federal standards on state elections that they said would weaken state ID requirements. They also oppose starting a new public financing system for congressional elections and politicizing the Federal Elections Commission that enforces campaign finance laws.

Even GOP moderate Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska said she couldn’t support the “partisan federal takeover of the election system.” In a floor speech, she said she’d back elements of the bill and will co-sponsor the separate John Lewis Voting Rights Act, but can’t back Democrats’ “one-size-fits-all” reforms.

Democrats, with the White House on their side, framed the legislation as an urgent priority to save democracy in the face of GOP efforts in state legislatures around the country to pass “voter suppression laws” in the wake of former President Trump’s 2020 election loss and unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud.

“Democracy is in peril, here, in America,” President Biden’s White House said in a statement Tuesday supporting the bill. “The right to vote – a sacred right in this country – is under assault with an intensity and an aggressiveness we have not seen in a long time.”

Voting rights have been such a concern for the White House that Vice President Kamala Harris presided over the debate on the Senate floor Tuesday evening and announced the failed 50-50 vote. Afterward, she said the White House is committed to ensuring access to the polls. “The fight is not over,” she told reporters at the Capitol.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., accused the GOP of being “afraid” to debate the merits of voting rights because they’d be forced to defend their efforts to disenfranchise voters.

“I want to be clear about what just happened on the Senate floor,” Schumer said immediately following the vote. “Every single Senate Republican just voted against starting debate … on legislation to protect Americans’ voting rights.”

He added: “This vote, I’m ashamed to say, is further evidence that voter suppression has become part of the official platform of the Republican Party.”

The “For the People Act” was numbered H.R. 1 and S.1 in the House and Senate to signify it was the top priority of Democratic leadership. The bill already passed the House with no GOP support.

The voting rights legislation, if enacted, would take aim at big-dollar donors and dark money in politics by requiring additional disclosure of campaign donors and disclaimers on political advertising. Presidential candidates would also be required to release their tax returns.

It would set up a new 6-1 public matching financing system for congressional elections to encourage more grassroots donations and require states to adopt independent redistricting commissions to prevent partisan gerrymandering.

And the legislation would set basic standards for states to run elections, such as mandating at least 15 days of early voting, setting up automatic voter registration, and permitting the use of student IDs or sworn written statements in states that have voter identification requirements.

While all 50 Democrats were united in moving to debate the bill, with Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., striking a last-minute deal with Schumer, Democrats are deeply divided on what to do next.

A top Democratic political adviser criticized his own party for wasting time on the S.1 legislation that won’t pass. Dmitri Mehlhorn, a key confidant to Democratic funder Reid Hoffman, argued the legislative push was setting the party up for failure and “dragging me and my country off a cliff,” according to a report in POLITICO.

Progressives are demanding that Senate Democrats get rid of the legislative filibuster so they can pass the sweeping election reforms, D.C. statehood bill, gun control and police reform bills without any GOP support. But Manchin and Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema have doubled down on their opposition to eliminating the filibuster, meaning any pathway forward on voting reforms would need GOP support.

The Democrats overplayed their hand.

Lost in their arrogant euphoria over the rigged results of the 2020 Presidential Election and their gains in Congress, they believed that they could do anything…including passing a bill into law which would ensure that they remained in power in Washington forever.

The Democrats truly believe that, like all of the other Marxists who were determined to “radically change” the government of their country and succeeded, that they will be successful, too.

There is a very important roadblock standing between the Democrats and their quest for “Radical Change”.

The difference between, say, a country like Venezuela, which was once a beautiful capitalist nation, and the United States of America, is the System of Checks and Balances which our Founding Fathers, in their brilliance, put into place to prevent wannabe tyrants, such as the Far Left Democrat Elite, from turning our Constitutional Republic into something that it was never meant to be.

That is not to say that the Democrats will not keep trying to change our Republic into a “Democratic Socialist” (i.e., MARXIST) country.

However, they will find it much harder to do thanks to the precious document that is the United States Constitution.

Thanks to that document, the power of this great nation does not reside in the Washington, D.C, Beltway, the Northeast Municipalities, or the West Coast.

America’s power is equally shared by its citizens in every state in the union.

EVERYBODY’S vote counts.

Everybody who is a citizen of the United States of America, that is.

The Democrats tried to cheat their way around that fact.

That is why they are so feverishly attempting to stop the 2020 Presidential Election Audits which are springing up, starting with Arizona.

If there was nothing to hide, why would they care is a state audited their votes which were counted in the 2020 Presidential Election?

When it all comes down to what Americans are watching transpire, these same political shenanigans have occurred whenever Marxists attempt to take over a Sovereign Nation’s sitting government.

The biggest problem that these Marxists who are calling themselves Democrats face in keeping them from succeeding with their mission of “radical change” is the fact that that there are more Patriotic Americans than there are “Useful Idiots”.

Was “Escape From New York” Prophetic? Campaign Volunteer for NYC Mayoral Candidate Stabbed Multiple Times on a Bronx Street

Newly obtained surveillance video shows the moment a campaign volunteer for New York City Mayoral candidate Eric Adams was stabbed multiple times on a Bronx street over the weekend.

The footage obtained by WNBC-TV shows the victim, 42, being stabbed several times on a sidewalk around 2:30 p.m on Morris Avenue.

As the victim falls to the ground, the attacker appears to keep knifing him near a parked vehicle, according to the footage.

Adams, a former New York Police Department captain who serves as Brooklyn borough president, said the stabbing occurred at 149th St and Morris Ave. in the South Bronx.

The victim was taken to a hospital for his injuries. His condition was not available.

The suspect fled the scene and no arrests have been made, the New York Police Department told Fox News. Investigators found a knife and ice pick at the scene, the New York Post reported.

The stabbing came just two days ahead of the Democratic primary for New York City’s next mayor.

On Monday, Adams said he would visit the unidentified volunteer in the hospital a second time and try to convince him to cooperate with investigators, according to the Post.

Last July, AOC said that the uptick in crime in NYC was due to people being hungry from being unemployed.

The uptick in crime in the Big Apple is not due to hungry citizens.

It is due to the lack of policemen and policewomen patrolling the city due to Mayor di Blasio and AOC’s fellow Democrat’s putting the city in danger for the sake of political expediency.

The local Democrat politicians, including Commie Mayor Bill de Blasio treat the NYPD like THEY are the thugs, defunding and treating them like garbage, and then the Dems have the nerve to act surprised when the city’s crime rate goes through the roof?

Their arrogance knows no bounds.

Without good ol’ fashioned police work and the municipal and New York State system of law and justice functioning without bias and enforcing the law as they are supposed to, , it will not be long before New York City will become the Hellhole seen in “Escape From New York” starring Kirk Russell.

Di Blasio and the rest of the New York Democrats need to learn to respect the men and women of the NYPD.

The Great American Broadcaster, the late Paul Harvey, was the son of a policeman who died in the line of duty. He wrote the following tribute for one of his daily updates…

“A policeman is a composite of what all men are, I guess, a mingling of saint and sinner, dust and deity. What that really means is that they are exceptional, they are unusual. They are not commonplace. Buried under the froth is the fact, the fact is that less than one half of one percent of policeman misfit that uniform, and that is a better average than you’d find among clergymen.

“He of all men is at once the most needed, and the most wanted, a strangely nameless creature who is sir to his face and pig or worse behind his back. He must be such a diplomat that he can settle differences between individuals so that each will think he won, but, if a policeman is neat, he’s conceited, if he’s careless he’s a bum, if he’s pleasant, he’s a flirt, if he’s not, he’s a grouch.

“He must make instant decisions that would require months for a lawyer but if he hurries he’s careless, if he’s deliberate, he’s lazy. He must be first to an accident, infallible with diagnoses. He must be able to start breathing, stop bleeding, tie splints and above all, be sure the victim goes home without a limp.

“The police officer must know every gun, draw on the run and hit where it doesn’t hurt.

“He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform, and without being brutal. If you hit him he’s a coward, if he hits you, he’s a bully. The policeman from a single human hair must be able to describe the crime, the weapon the criminal, and tell you where the criminal is hiding but, if he catches the criminal he’s lucky, if he doesn’t he’s a dunce.

“He runs files and writes reports until his eyes ache to build a case against some felon who will get dealt out by some shameless shamus. The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy, and a gentle man. And of course, he’ll have to be a genius, because he’ll have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.”

Scalise Blasts Speaker of the House for Not Investigating Covid-19 Origin: “Pelosi Won’t Do it”

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., had some fiery words for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi while speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference, accusing her of thwarting efforts to investigate the true origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Pelosi won’t do it,” Scalise told the crowd on the second day of the three-day conference in Kissimmee, Fla. He promised that when Republicans retake the House in the 2022 midterms, they will “hold China accountable.”

“They are covering for China right now,” Scalise said of his Democratic colleagues. “It’s a Soviet-style cover-up. We’re going to keep calling them out on it.”

Scalise’s comments were first reported by JustTheNews.com.

Fox News has reached out to Pelosi’s press office for comment on the matter. A spokesperson referred to the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the origins of COVID-19.

“They’ve announced weeks ago they are looking at this,” he said.

The U.S. intelligence community said in May it is examining “all available evidence” on the origin of COVID-19 and “aggressively” working to collect and analyze new information on the issue.

“The U.S. Intelligence Community does not know exactly where, when, or how the COVID-19 virus was transmitted initially but has coalesced around two likely scenarios: either it emerged naturally from human contact with infected animals or it was a laboratory accident,” Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Strategic Communications Amanda Schoch said in a statement.

Meanwhile, a push is underway on Capitol Hill and beyond for a full-scale investigation into the origins of the pandemic that has left more than 600,000 Americans dead.

It is unclear whether such a probe will ever happen, though a privately sponsored team of public health experts is already laying the groundwork for one.

A bill introduced by Sens. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., and Susan Collins, R-Maine, would establish such a commission. Its inquiry could include a look at the origins of the virus; early warnings and other communication with foreign governments; coordination among federal, state and local agencies; the availability of medical supplies; testing and public health surveillance; vaccination development and distribution; the uneven effect on minorities; and government relief policies.

If you believe that the House Democrats will seriously and in good faith investigate the actual origins of the COVID-19 Pandemic, I have two bridges (one in repair) over the Mississippi River at Memphis, Tennessee to sell you.

Rep. Scalise is absolutely correct.

The Democrats are covering for the Chinese.

They have to.

They have been working in tandem with them since the Obama Administration.

IN fact, the Chinese Government has infiltrated Colleges and Universities, due to a program started under the Obama Administration.

The Recruitment Program for Innovative Talents (Long Term) targets people under 55 years of age who are willing to work in China on a full-time basis, with full professorships or the equivalent in prestigious foreign universities and R&D institutes, or with senior titles from well-known international companies or financial institutions. – “The Thousand Talents Plan”

Per their website, 1000plan.org, China initiated the Thousand Talents Plan at the end of 2008.

By 2017, China had recruited more than 7,000 professionals, per a bi-partisan Senate Sub-committee report titled “Threats to the U.S. Research Enterprise: China’s Talent Recruitment Plans” published in November of last year.

Okay. Why was this allowed in the first place?

And, why didn’t the Federal Government put a stop to it?

Who was the President in January of 2009?

Oh, wait…Now, I remember (with a little help from The Washington Post)

Obama became the first U.S. president to visit China during his first year in office. But his administration was taken aback by how completely the Chinese controlled all aspects of that visit.

“He wasn’t allowed to say much at all,” said Orville Schell, a longtime China scholar who was in China during the visit. “The Chinese kept him from meeting certain people, from taking questions or even radio broadcasts. He didn’t know quite how to respond. He didn’t want to be impolite. It took the U.S. a while to understand that this was the direction China and the relationship was headed.”

Some have blamed Obama for adopting such an overly optimistic and open stance during those early years. For all his outreach, current and former top U.S. diplomats say, Obama got little in return, except the feeling of being burned by Beijing.

So, what would stop the Democratic Majority of the House of Representatives from investigating China for unleashing a pandemic from one of its research laboratories which killed thousands of Americas?

Well…

Probably the fact that a certain Democratic President and his son have been bought and paid for by the Communist Chinese Government.

One email, dated May 13, 2017, and obtained by Fox News, includes a discussion of “remuneration packages” for six people in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm. The email appeared to identify Hunter Biden as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” in an apparent reference to now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co.

The email includes a note that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.” A proposed equity split references “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” with no further details. Fox News spoke to one of the people who was copied on the email, who confirmed its authenticity.

Sources told Fox News that “the big guy” is a reference to the former vice president. The New York Post initially published the emails and other controversial messages that Fox News has also obtained.

Hunter Biden was the point of the spear in a Foreign Policy scandal which is just a small part of what will go down as the most corrupt Presidential Administration in history, making the Warren G. Harding Teapot Dome Scandal pale in comparison.

All of this boggles the mind. Think about it:

The entire attack on Former President Trump, which lasted his entire first term, the Special Counsel’s “Russian Collusion” investigation, and the hurried Democratic Sham Impeachment were all part of a strategy to cover up the out-of-control corruption, both foreign and domestic, which took place during the Obama Administration with the knowledge and consent of President Barack Hussein Obama, himself.

That would certainly explain the Democrats’ over-the-top reaction to losing the 2016 Presidential Election and their vicious rhetoric and unconstitutional political actions and schemes since.

And, it will explain any of the dubious conclusions reached by the proposed investigation into the origins of COVID-19 by the House Democrats.

Former President Trump was right all along.

My Wish For Father’s Day 2021

Fathers-Day-Wishes-With-Images

D-Day, also called the Battle of Normandy, was fought on June 6, 1944, between the Allied nations and German forces occupying Western Europe. To this day, 77 years later, it  still remains the largest seaborne invasion in history. Almost three million troops crossed the English Channel from England to Normandy to be used as human cannon fodder in an invasion of occupied France.

Among the young men who stepped off those boats, in a hail of gunfire, was a fellow named Edward, whom everyone called Ned, from the small town of Helena, Arkansas.  Already in his young life, Ned had been forced to drop out of school in the sixth grade, in order to work at the local movie theatre to help support his mother, brother, and sister, faced with the ravages of the Great Depression.

He later went on to help build the US Highway 49 Helena Bridge across the Mississippi River at Helena, Arkansas.

He was a gentle man who loved to laugh and sing, having recorded several 78 rpm records in the do-it-yourself booths of the day. And now, he found himself, a Master Sergeant in an Army Engineering Unit, stepping off a boat into the unknown, watching his comrades being mercilessly gunned down around him.

Ned, along with the rest of his unit who survived the initial assault, would go on to assist in the cleaning out of the Concentration Camps, bearing witness to man’s inhumanity to man.

The horrors he saw had a profound effect on Ned.  One which he would keep to himself for the remainder of his life.  While his children knew that he served with an Engineering Unit in World War II, they did not know the full extent of his service, until they found his medal, honoring his participation in the Invasion of Normandy, going through his belongings, after he passed away on December 29, 1997.

He was my Daddy.

Today, all across the world, Fathers will be honored by their children, natural, adopted, foster, and those whom they took in as one of their own.

Did you ever wonder how this Global Remembrance got started?

There are two stories which are attributed as being the origin of Father’s Day.

According to the first tale, it all began in 1910, when Sonora Smart-Dodd of Spokane, Washington, tried to figure out a way in which to honor her dad, a remarkable man, who had single-handedly raised six children. Sonora, naturally, loved her dad with all her heart, and wanted everyone to recognize him for what he had done for her entire family. She made the decision to declare day of tribute, a Father’s Day, if you will, on her father’s birthday – June 19.

The next year, Sonora contacted the local churches in an attempt to get them to throw their support behind the celebration, but they simply laughed her off. After that setback, it took a while before Sonora’s proposal once again started gaining attention.

A bill in support of a national remembrance of Father’s Day was introduced in 1913. The bill was approved by US President Woodrow Wilson three years later. The bill received further support from President Calvin Coolidge in 1924.

This brought about the formation of a National Father’s Day Committee in New York within the next two years. However, our Federal Government, not exactly being strong in the pursuit alacrity, took another 30 years before a Joint Resolution of Congress officially recognized Father’s Day. Then, implementation of the bill was postponed another 16 years until President Richard Nixon declared third Sunday of June as Father’s Day in 1972.

The second story of the origin of Father’s Day involves Dr. Robert Webb of West Virginia. According to this version, the first Father’s Day service was conducted by Webb at the Central Church of Fairmont in 1908.

Around my house, we always thought that Hallmark and Walmart invented it.

Like you other fathers out there, I am asked every year what I want for my Father’s Day Gift.

The one present I want…I can’t have.

I wish that I had one more day with my Daddy.

My Daddy was the most important man in my life and remains so to this day.

He taught me how to love others through his actions every day of his life. He was a wonderful Christian man, who led me to Christ.

He was also the bravest man I have ever known, landing at Normandy Beach on D-Day.

My Daddy worked hard all of his life. He worked for Sears for 20 years. He taught me what hard work was and yet he always had time for me.

I wish that I had one more day to walk through Court Square Park in Memphis, Tennessee feeding the pigeons and the squirrels with my Daddy.

I wish that I had another opportunity to sit on the living room floor at Christmas and play Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots with him.

I wish that I had another chance to stand over to the side on Thanksgiving Afternoon and watch him, as he played Penny-ante Poker, “cutting up” with my mother and my aunts and uncles.

I wish that I could hear him singing “The Old Rugged Cross” in the kitchen again, with his beautiful tenor voice.

I wish that I could watch him again, sitting at the breakfast table simultaneously looking through his old Cokesbury Hymnbook and his Book on Hymnology, researching those great old hymns and making notes, so that he could tell his 150 member Sunday School Class about the hymn which he was going to lead them in singing that Sunday Morning.

I wish that I could watch my Daddy playing with my baby daughter again, sticking out the lower plate of his dentures, as she tried to grab it.

I wish that I could see them again out in the driveway, sitting in his 1978 Chevrolet Caprice Classic with her in the driver’s seat as they waited for the school bus to pick her up for pre-school.

I wish that I could spend another Christmas Morning with him to watch the fun as he gave my sister her yearly “gag gift”, just to watch her jump and squeal as the “snake” or “mouse” jumped out of the box.

I wish that I could sit and watch Saturday Morning Memphis Wrestling and then another Johnny Weissmuller “Tarzan” movie with him on a Saturday afternoon…or maybe a Three Stooges Short, just to hear him laugh.

It’s funny, y’know.

I look in the mirror at 62 years old…and, I see him.

I look back over the years at the things that I did with the children that God brought into my life to care for and then I see the things that I’m doing now with my 12 year-old grandson, and I see my Daddy in myself.

Nowadays in America, it is harder than ever to be a Dad.  Any male who is not impotent can sire a child…as is being proven daily across our country.

However, it takes a man to be a Daddy, a Papa, a Pop, a Pops, somebody’s Old Man, or simply, a Father.

I’ve had the privilege of having a hand in raising three step-sons, one nephew, and one very special daughter.  I would not give back one moment of those experiences for anything that this world can offer.

I was not a perfect role model.  I made mistakes…a lot of them.  But, looking back, I know, in my heart, that I’ve made a difference in their lives. And, I thank the One Who Made Me for that opportunity.

I pray that I was able to pass along at least some of my Daddy’s Legacy of Christian Love to those I have had a hand in raising.

Dads…it costs nothing to pay attention….and give love.

Daddy, I wish you were here so I could tell you how much I love you and miss you.

I hope you’re proud of me.

Every good thing that I am, came from the life lessons which I learned from you and the Love and Amazing Grace of my Heavenly Father.

Republicans Urging Biden to Remove Kamala Harris as “Border Czar”…Why He Won’t Do it

More than 50 House Republicans are urging President Biden to remove Vice President Kamala Harris from her role dealing with the migrant crisis that has overwhelmed the southern border in recent months — accusing her of “inaction” on the crisis due to her failure to visit the border.

“Despite being in the midst of a border crisis this country has not seen in two decades, Vice President Harris has not yet shown adequate interest in observing this crisis first-hand,” the 56 lawmakers, led by Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., wrote. “In the 85 days since the Vice President has been tasked with solving this crisis, she has yet to visit the border and meet with Border Patrol agents, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials and local law enforcement officials.”

Harris was appointed more than 80 days ago to lead diplomatic talks to solve what the White House described as the “root causes” of the migrant crisis — such as poverty, climate change, and violence in Central America.

Harris recently visited both Guatemala and Mexico as part of her responsibilities, meeting with leaders and announcing a number of investments in both countries to tackle those root causes — while urging migrants not to come to the border. Harris described her trip as a success, though she was dogged by questions about her failure to visit the border

The White House and the administration have sought to clarify that Harris is not in charge of the border per se and is instead focused on diplomatic talks, but Republicans have said it is still important for her to visit the border to truly understand the crisis that saw more than 180,000 migrant encounters in May.

Republicans have blamed the crisis on the administration’s policies — particularly the rollback of Trump-era policies like border wall construction and the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP).

The lawmakers who wrote to Biden this week said that, even if root causes are to blame, “the exclusive focus on Central American countries ignores the fact that we see many migrants attempting to illegally cross our southern border from countries all over the world, including Russia, Brazil, Cuba and Haiti.”

“We are also aware of no dramatic changes in Central American countries over the last few months that would result in such a wide gap of encounters at the southern border compared to last year,” they say.

They also blast the administration for ignoring its own policies that they say enticed migrants to make the journey north.

“This country cannot afford another minute of inaction from Vice President Harris,” the lawmakers tell Biden as they urge him to replace Harris as the point-person for the crisis. “While you have publicly defended the Vice President, even you must be discouraged with her inaction.”

The Biden administration defended its handling of the crisis this week, with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas saying its strategy was working.

“We have a strategy,” Mayorkas said. “We are executing that strategy, I am confident in the strategy and I am confident in the proposal we have submitted to this Congress to best resource that strategy.”

“Yep. They are executing their “strategy”, alright.

You want to know why President Joe Biden and his, evidently, “Co-President”, Kamala Harris are not working to end this unbridled illegal mass entry into our Sovereign Nation?

Simple…this is exactly what the Biden-Harris Administration, their Handlers, and the Democrat Elite want.

They want the same thing to happen to America that happened to the countries in Europe who have been invaded by Muslim Migrants.

They want our national identity to change.

Think about it.

How did Lenin become the leader of the Russian Revolution?

He used the Mensheviks and the Bolsheviks to overthrow the Russian Monarchy.

In the same manner, the Democrats are going to use illegal immigrants to change the way our Constitutional Voting Process works in order to “stay in power forever.

The Democrat Elite, including the current Administration, do not care about these people who they are allowing to invade our country.

If they were humanitarians, there would not be a wall around Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco Mansion…or the White House.

Here’s a not-so-secret secret::The Democrat Elite only care about political power and their own personal wealth.

Even if it means putting innocent children’s’ lives in danger to achieve their goals.

.Y’know, boys and girls, I have been saying for a long time now, that if the Democrats had their way regarding illegal immigration America would turn into a Third World “Democratic Socialist” Paradise, like Venezuela and Cuba.

Marching Toward Marxism: Pelosi Names AOC to New House Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tapped progressive firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for a new House committee she formed to address wealth inequality in America.

Pelosi, D-Calif., on Thursday praised the New York Democrat’s commitment to “addressing generational disparities” and “increasing worker power” in naming her to the new Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth.

Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., will chair the panel designed to tackle the gap between America’s top CEOs and worker pay, with Pelosi calling the widening chasm a “historic picture of injustice.”

The committee is charged with studying and recommending proposals for making the economy fairer and ensuring more Americans have opportunities.

Ocasio-Cortez, the author of the Green New Deal and the federal jobs guarantee, praised the job of the committee Wednesday, saying “this is an extremely important moment.”

She highlighted her work on the Financial Services Committee and said she hopes the new committee will examine traditional assumptions about the economy.

“One of the things that would be interesting for us to examine is that we should probably revisit some of the basic macroeconomic assumptions about the U.S. economy and not take for granted that inflation is due to one thing or another, or that full employment is impossible in the United States of America,” Ocasio-Cortez said at a news event for the new committee, adding that she wants to ensure that “every American has a dignified job.”

Aside from Ocasio-Cortez and Himes, the other Democrats Pelosi appointed to the committee are Reps. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, Gwen Moore of Wisconsin, Vicente Gonzalez of Texas, Pramila Jayapal of Washington, Angie Craig of Minnesota and Sara Jacobs of California.

Gentle reader, if you doubted me before when I have told you that the Democrats are fully embracing Marxism, doubt no longer.

Why is this happening? How did we get here?

Back in the 60s, President Lyndon Johnson (whose big hand I once shook, at his ranch, as a little boy, after his presidential term) and the Democrats, brought forth a plan, called “the Great Society”. It was decided, in order to ensure that everyone would have an equal opportunity in America, that Uncle Sugar would step in to fill in the gaps.

Two seminal pieces of legislation were passed.

First, the Civil Rights Bill that JFK promised to sign, before his assassination, was passed into law. This Act banned discrimination based on race and gender in employment and ending segregation in all public facilities.

It also helped to cement in stone, American Minorities’ loyalty to the Democratic Party, which continues to this day.

The second bill that LBJ signed into law was the sweeping ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY ACT OF 1964. It created the Office of Economic Opportunity whose stated purpose was to attack the roots of American poverty. A Job Corps was then established to provide vocational training.

A preschool program designed to help disadvantaged students arrive at kindergarten ready to learn, named HEADSTART, was then established. Then came VOLUNTEERS IN SERVICE TO AMERICA (VISTA), which was set up as a domestic Peace Corps. Schools in impoverished American regions would now receive volunteer teaching attention. Federal funds were sent to struggling communities to attack unemployment and illiteracy.

What Johnson told Americans, as he campaigned in 1964, was that the establishment of this “Great Society” was going to eliminate the problems of America’s poor.

It had the opposite effect.

The Great Society created a dependent class, which, instead of diminishing as it’s members joined the workforce, increased from generation to generation, relying on the federal government to provide their every need.

Uncle Sugar became Mother, Father, Preacher, and Doctor to generations of Americans. This “plantation mentality” continues to this day.

Instead of moving forward, by exercising the self-reliance that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached so well, the people I saw, while working in a State Employment Office, were content on being “taken care of” by Uncle Sugar, as if being held down by their own poor, miserable circumstance, was a good thing.

Since August of 2014, the results of LBJ’s “Great Society” have been the lead story in seemingly, every television newscast, on every newspaper front page, and on every internet news/political website.

But, I digress…

On a Sunday, in October of 2008, outside of Toledo, Ohio, Democratic Presidential Nominee Obama met a plumber named Joe Wurzelbacher. Joe, who owned his own plumbing company, dared to ask Obama about his proposed tax hikes. In fact, he told Obama that he did not want to pay higher taxes, he was already paying enough. Obama told him,

Now, I respect the disagreement. I just want you to be clear – it’s not that I want to punish your success – I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you – that they’ve got a chance at success too.”

…I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.

Evidently, the “fairness” Obama sought was only the prelude to what we are witnessing under the Presidential Administration of poor ol’ demented Joe Biden.

And, so, in the name of “Social Justice”, “the Far Left  DEmocratic Members of the House of Representatives are on a quest to replace the Engine of Capitalism which built this nation into a World Power with “Democratic Socialism”, a form of Marxism, a THEORY which has failed in every country in which it has been tried.

No Individual Achievement allowed.

No American Exceptionalism to ever be spoken off.

No individuality allowed in the Proletariat.

Biden Has Solo Press Conference, Calls on Reporters From a Pre-approved List, Still Manages to Blow Up at a CNN Reporter

President Biden was mocked for “saying the quiet part out loud” on Wednesday when he admitted at the outset of his press conference in Geneva he would only be calling on reporters from a prepared list.

“I’ll take your questions, and as usual, folks, they gave me a list of the people I’m going to call on,” Biden told the press following his anticipated meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Observers wondered whether the “they” Biden referred to was his communications team.

“How is this acceptable?” asked Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla.

“Embarrassing,” Steve Guest, special advisor for communications for Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, tweeted.

Social media users agreed that the president had “said the quiet part out loud.”

“They won’t let him take questions from anyone other than Democrat activists in the media,” another user claimed.

Fox News contributor Joe Concha contrasted Biden’s admission with Putin’s earlier press conference, which lasted over an hour and showed “no signs of stopping.”

Biden has often relied on pre-approved lists for press conferences. At his first formal press conference as president in January, most of the questions he took were from reporters that were pre-selected by his team.

“A White House handler is calling on reporters by name and by outlet one-by-one to ask Biden a question, unlike Trump who called on reporters as the [spirit] moved him,” Real Clear News reporter Philip Wegmann noted at the time, comparing Biden to his predecessor.

Then in March, Biden was seen consulting a “cheat sheet” that appeared to show the pictures and news outlets of journalists who attended his news conference, some of whom had a circled number next to their photos.

The president has also taken some heat for not holding more press conferences, a criticism White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki pushed back on in her seemingly softball interview with CNN’s Brian Stelter by claiming Biden “takes questions several times a week.” Psaki has also admitted that she advises the president against taking impromptu questions.

Even though I was at work during yesterday’s meeting of the Sleepy Joe Admiration Society, I was able to keep up through the use of that marvelous invention, the cell phone.

I caught bits and pieces of the actual presser and it went just as every American with common sense thought that it would: softball questions being lobbed at a dementia-riddled, confused, doddering old man who was appointed POTUS, as he called upon reporters from a predetermined list.

The days of an objective national news media are long gone.

Today’s Main Stream Media are servants of the Democrat Elite…minions, if you will, like those in the “Despicable Me” movies…not too bright but slavishly devoted to their masters.

Just as the MSM viewed it as their jobs to make President Donald J. Trump’s time as POTUS a living Hell, so do they believe that they are Biden’s “Hospice Aides”, whose job is to make his days in office as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

They are running interference, along with Biden’s Handlers and the Democrat Elite, putting out propaganda about the mental and physical health of Biden in an effort to hide the actual, ugly truth of his deteriorating condition.

If you do not believe me, then take a look at the Tweets of Jennifer Rubin, the “Professional Blogger” who writes op eds for The Washington Post.

They are like reading an old Superman comic book where he travels to Bizarro World, where everything is “bass-ackwards”.

Liberals like Rubin and the reporter who said that Biden was “knocking it out of the park so far” need to put down the bong and join us hard-working average Americans who see Biden for the poor excuse for a President that he really is.

For them to start complaining about their treatment now, after they helped the Democrats literally appoint him into office, is very funny, when you consider that the MSM knew that Joe Biden was mentally-impaired when they worked to get him elected President.

It is even funnier when you consider that Biden blew up at a CNN Reporter, yesterday, as alluded to in the above Tweet.

Dementia is an ugly thing.

It was bad enough we we just had to suffer through San Fran Nan’s dementia, much less a President of the United States of America who is fighting it…and losing terribly as was witnessed around the world again yesterday.

Putin and the rest of our nation’s enemies are laughing their butts off.

Trump to Visit “Decimated” Texas-Mexico Border with Gov. Abbott on June 30th

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit the U.S.-Mexico border with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott at the end of the month, which he described on Tuesday as an “unmitigated disaster zone.”

The president said in a press release that he had accepted Abbott’s invitation to visit the “decimated” border, a deteriorating situation that he attributed to the Biden administration’s decisions to reverse many of his immigration policies.

“Biden and Harris have handed control of our border over to cartels, criminals, and coyotes. Abbott previously told Fox News in an interview that later this week he will unveil the state’s plans to build a border wall in an attempt to finish what the former president started.

“We will continue that process of building the border wall in addition to these other strategies that we will use to make sure that anybody coming here will understand Texas is the wrong state to come into,” Abbott said.

President Biden signed an executive order on his Inauguration Day pausing construction on the border wall project spearheaded by Trump. The White House also ended the former administration’s national emergency declaration at the border shortly after taking over, in addition to terminating a number of other measures like the “Remain in Mexico” policy.

Vice President Kamala Harris recently drew criticism from members of her own party during her first trip to Guatemala and Mexico since she was tasked with addressing the “root causes” of the immigration crisis at the end of March.

During a press conference with Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei, Harris warned migrants not to make the “dangerous trek” to the U.S. border where they would be turned away.

Harris’ comments come as the U.S. battles a surge in migrant encounters at the U.S. border, which totaled more than 180,000 in May, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

She and the president have yet to visit the U.S. border, though Harris told Univision in an interview last week that she planned to do so. She declined to give a date when asked.

Our Southern Border is a disaster…and, Kamala Harris is not to blame for it.

This is Joe Biden’s fault…100%.

He is the President and the buck stops with him.

By putting VP Harris “in charge” of the border situation, Biden’s handlers sought to take some of the spotlight and blame away from Biden.

Harris is unlikable to begin with. Her inactivity regarding the border crisis is just making an already-tarnished public image worse.

Biden and his Handlers are the ones allowing the chaos at our Southern Birders.

The Far Left Democrats want an influx of undereducated illegal immigrants to come into our Sovereign Nation.

They, like the product of Liberal-staffed colleges before them, are easier to mold and deceive.

It is the same logic which caused Vladimir Lenin to approach the barbaric Bolsheviks and Mensheviks to help him overthrow the Czar of Russia and usher in the “glorious period of enlightenment and social justice” known as the Russian Revolution.

Of course, you know that while I was writing the statement above, I had my tongue firmly planted in my cheek.

Lenin suckered the masses into believing that the political theory which he was championing would bring about a land of milk and honey, where every man would have what he needed to be happy, healthy, and prosperous.

Instead, what Marxism, which has failed in every country in which it has been tried, brought to the poor peasants of Russia was more poverty and even less individual freedom than what they had experienced under the Czar’s rule.

The Democrats are so desperate to change our country’s government from a Constitutional Republic to the “glory” of Democratic Socialism that they are willing to bring thousands of Covid-19-positive illegals across our Southern Border.

Their plan kills two birds with one stone:

It gives them more “foot soldiers” and it will re-infect America with the Chinese Coronavirus, causing more lockdowns and the opportunity for Democrats to grab more power and gain more control of American Citizens.

Thank God that Texas has a strong governor, like Governor Abbott, to stand up against an out-of-control Presidential Administration.

And, a Former President like Donald J. Trump, who is not afraid to shine the spotlight on the disaster happening at our Southern Border.

I miss having a strong American President.
