Moonves Out at CBS, Virtue Signaling In

CBS Chief Executive Les Moonves has resigned after at least 12 women came forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct in a pair of New Yorker articles authored by Pulitzer Prize winner Ronan Farrow.

In a statement released Sunday evening, CBS said that Moonves would depart his position as chairman, president and CEO “effective immediately.” COO Joseph Ianniello was announced as president and acting CEO “while the Board conducts a search for a permanent successor.”

The network also announced that it and Moonves would donate $20 million to organizations that support “that support the #MeToo movement and equality for women in the workplace.” The $20 million would come out of any compensation Moonves is due to receive following the conclusion of an ongoing investigation into the allegations against him.

Moonves’ future at CBS came into question in July, when Farrow published an expose in the New Yorker detailing allegations from six women. This week, multiple news outlets reported that Moonves was negotiating a possible exit with independent directors of CBS’ board.

Then on Sunday, the New Yorker published claims against Moonves by six more women. Some alleged he forced them to perform oral sex on him, forcibly kissed them, exposed himself to unwilling participants and put the careers of those that rebuffed his advances in jeopardy.

One of the women, Phyllis Golden-Gottlieb, reported her accusations to Los Angeles police last year, but they weren’t pursued because of the statute of limitations. She said that Moonves, while an executive at the Lorimar production studio in the late 1980s, pushed her head into his lap and forced her to perform oral sex.

At another time, she said an angry Moonves pushed her hard against a wall. When she resisted later advances, she began to be frozen out at the company, she said.

“He absolutely ruined my career,” she told the magazine.

Another woman, Jessica Pallingston, said Moonves had forced her to perform oral sex on her first day working as his assistant at Warner Bros. productions. Other women told the magazine of unwanted touching or advances by Moonves.

In a statement to the magazine, Moonves said the “appalling accusations” are untrue, but he acknowledged consensual relations with three of the women before he started working at CBS.

Ironically, Moonves was once a prominent voice in Hollywood’s growing “#MeToo” movement. As the initial New Yorker article reported, he helped found the Commission on Eliminating Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality in the Workplace, which is chaired by Anita Hill.

The organization Time’s Up, which fights accusations of sexual misconduct, said the women had made “bone-chilling” accusations against Moonves. “We believe them,” Times’ Up said in a statement on Sunday.

Time’s Up said the CBS board has a responsibility to rid the company of a toxic culture toward women.

“Remember that the world is watching,” the statement said. “We will accept nothing less than full transparency of the investigation’s findings, a commitment to real change across all levels of CBS management and no reward for Les Moonves.”

Moonves is the first network executive to lose his job over revelations related to the “#MeToo” movement, which was sparked by reports about movie producer Harvey Weinstein in October 2017. People like Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose and Kevin Spacey have lost work over allegations that came to light in the months that followed.

Moonves’ departure does not mark the first time “#MeToo” has touched the Tiffany Network. Rose, a former host of “CBS This Morning” and “60 Minutes” contributor, has been accused of sexual misconduct by 27 women, 14 of whom worked with him at CBS. He was fired by CBS and PBS late last year.

The network is also investigating Jeff Fager, former CBS News chairman and executive producer of “60 Minutes,” on charges that he condoned a hostile atmosphere to women.

For those of you who are too young to remember Anita Hill, whom the above article references, her claim to fame happened this way…

Shortly before the U.S. Senate was to vote on his (Clarence Thomas’) nomination to the Supreme Court in October 1991, Hill charged Thomas with sexually harassing her when she worked for him at the Department of Education and then at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), by asking her out and forcing her to listen to obscene talk.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, remembers it well.

They (The Democratic Party Hierarchy)made up the sexual harassment business with Anita Hill when it looked like Thomas was gonna be confirmed. That was a plan, for those of you that were not old enough or paying attention back then, that plan was hatched by the wife of Illinois senator Paul Simon.

I mean, they totally ginned up this sexual harassment business on Thomas, and it totally took over the hearings, and it nearly derailed Thomas’ nomination. And I remember I was wall-to-wall on that. From the moment it happened I was wall-to-wall on it and I didn’t stop until it was beaten back. This was before Fox News. This was before widespread cable news, widespread talk radio. It was vicious, it was Bork-like. And it was made up.

It actually turned out that there were inconsistencies in Ms. Hill’s story and it did not help her case that she followed Clarence Thomas from job to job.

The Main Stream Media and the Hollywood Liberals swallowed Anita Hill’s story hook, line, and sinker with HBO even making a movie from her point of view which aired in 2016.

Isn’t it funny how things have come back to bite all of the self-righteous Liberals in the Entertainment Industry right in the gluteus maximus?

From the moment that the revelations about Hollywood Producer and star maker Harvey Weinstein to Charlie Rose to Matt Lauer and Tom Brokaw and now, Les Moonves, the warm feelings of schadenfreude have brought a smile on my face.

Since Donald J. Trump first announced his candidacy for the Presidency of the United States of America, the MSM and the Entertainment Industry have been accusing President Trump of being the biggest Lothario since Adam took a bite out of an apple offered to him by a naked woman.

Their desperation to bring down a sitting President transcended the bounds of broadcast journalism to the point to where broadcast news outlets now resemble a revolutionary faction vying for power in Venezuela.

This desperation has led them to publish unsubstantiated lie after unsubstantiated lie in order to assuage their own still hurt feelings over their failure to aid lousy Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton in her quest to become the 45th President of the United States of America.

The depth of their grief and the blind rage of their ensuing temper tantrum has, without a doubt, wiped out any vestiges of journalistic integrity that remained after decades of being the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.

The funny thing is, that during all of those decades of Liberal Self-righteousness, CBS, NBC and other Liberal Show Biz Organizations were condoning sexual harassment and intolerance in their own corporate confines.

That’s right.

The same bunch of “morally superior” East and West Coast Liberals, who have been insulting and talking down to average Americans, from their positions of notoriety and power, simply because we believe in Traditional American Faith and Values and we would not swallow the Kool-aid they we offering during the 2016 Presidential Campaign and elected Donald J Trump as President, instead of the Queen of Mean, knew all along about the debauchery going on both behind closed doors and out in their open in their places of business.

It takes a special sort of hypocrite to sit in judgment as their have with all of their sexual harassment baggage neatly hidden away…or so they thought.

And now as I wrote earlier, it has all come back to bite them.

Les Moonves is the latest in this #MeToo Virtue Signaling Purge.

However, he won’t be the last.

Socialism and Social Justice…Why Christian Americans Should Oppose Them

More than 3,000 evangelical Christians and organizations have joined well-known theologian and pastor, John MacArthur, in endorsing a statement on social justice and the purported dangers the concept poses to the Gospel.

The statement comes in the wake of MacArthur’s recent controversial series that brands social justice as a real threat to the Gospel.

“Clarity on these issues will fortify believers and churches to withstand an onslaught of dangerous and false teachings that threaten the gospel, misrepresent Scripture, and lead people away from the grace of God in Jesus Christ,” the statement explains in an introduction.

“Specifically, we are deeply concerned that values borrowed from secular culture are currently undermining Scripture in the areas of race and ethnicity, manhood and womanhood, and human sexuality. The Bible’s teaching on each of these subjects is being challenged under the broad and somewhat nebulous rubric of concern for ‘social justice,'” it continued. “If the doctrines of God’s Word are not uncompromisingly reasserted and defended at these points, there is every reason to anticipate that these dangerous ideas and corrupted moral values will spread their influence into other realms of biblical doctrines and principles.”

And with that introduction, the statement then goes on to address 14 points of contention in the Gospel the signers agree need to be clarified, including what constitutes justice.

“WE DENY that true justice can be culturally defined or that standards of justice that are merely socially constructed can be imposed with the same authority as those that are derived from Scripture. We further deny that Christians can live justly in the world under any principles other than the biblical standard of righteousness,” the statement says. “Relativism, socially-constructed standards of truth or morality, and notions of virtue and vice that are constantly in flux cannot result in authentic justice.”

I do not believe that Jesus would be a part of the Social Justice Movement, advocated by the Modern American Liberals of the Democratic Party. His was and is a soul-saving movement. One that still brings hundreds of thousand of people to individual salvation on this terrestrial ball every day. A movement that, in fact, was embraced by the founders of this cherished land.

The Social Justice Movement is an offshoot of Marxist Theory, named for the radical who conceived it, Karl Marx. It’s basic tenet states,

From each according to his ability to each according to his need.

The modern translation, provided for us by Former President Barack Hussein Obama, during his 2008 Presidential Campaign, is that working Americans need to “share the wealth”.

That, boys and girls, is “Socialism” and, in Marxist Theory, Socialism is the step before Communism.

A simple definition of Socialism describes it as

a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

In a opinion piece posted a couple of years ago on ChristianPost.com, Christian Talk Show Host Julie Roys gave the following Five Reasons that Socialism itself is not based on  the teachings of Jesus Christ.

1. Socialism is Based on a Materialistic Worldview

According to socialists like Bernie Sanders, the greatest problem in the world is the unequal distribution of wealth.

His website declares: “The issue of wealth and income inequality is the great moral issue of our time, it is the great economic issue of our time, and it is the great political issue of our time.”

This betrays a fundamentally materialistic worldview, which is the basis of socialism.

To socialists, all that really exists is the material world.

2. Socialism Punishes Virtue

Socialists want to distribute wealth to individuals according to their need, regardless of virtue.

As Karl Marx, famously said, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

However, whenever any institution provides aid, it runs the risk of removing God-designed rewards and consequences. It can punish those who are industrious by making them pay for those who are not. And, it can reward those who aren’t industrious by giving them the fruits of another man’s labor. This is precisely what socialism does.

Interestingly, Marx mooched off others his whole life, and failed to provide for his wife and children.

As Aristotle once noted, “Men start revolutionary changes for reasons connected with their private lives.”

The Bible teaches that aid should be tied to responsibility. First, anyone who refuses to work should be refused aid.

3. Socialism Endorses Stealing

Barack Obama once defended his socialist policies to a little girl by saying, “We’ve got to make sure that people who have more money help the people who have less money. If you had a whole pizza, and your friend had no pizza, would you give him a slice?”

That sounds pretty Christian, right? What Christian wouldn’t endorse sharing your abundance with someone who has nothing? However, Obama wasn’t endorsing people voluntarily sharing their wealth with others; he was endorsing the government forcibly taking a piece of the pie from one person and giving it to someone else. Put another way, that’s saying that if you have three cars and your neighbor has none, the government has a right to take your car and give it to your neighbor. That’s not Christian; that’s stealing!

But, socialists don’t believe in private property. And, some Christian socialists actually assert that the Bible doesn’t either. That’s preposterous.

Both the Old Testament and New Testament unequivocally affirm private property. We can’t even obey the eighth commandment to not steal, unless we accept the notion of private ownership. Nor, can we steward our money as the Bible commands if the state owns our money, not us.

4. Socialism Encourages Envy and Class Warfare

Socialists demonize the rich, blaming all of society’s problems on them.

Bernie Sanders once posted to his Facebook Page: “Let us wage a moral and political war against the billionaires and corporate leaders on Wall Street and elsewhere, whose policies and greed are destroying the middle class of America.”

Here, Sanders is mimicking Karl Marx, who viewed history as a series of class struggles between the rich and the poor — and advocated overthrowing the ruling class.

Scripture strongly warns the rich and powerful not to oppress the poor.

In fact, Proverbs 14:31 says, “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for his maker . . .”

But, Sanders — and other Leftists, including Hillary Clinton — go far beyond decrying specific acts of injustice. They basically condemn an entire class of people simply for possessing wealth. And, they encourage those who are poor to overthrow them. In fact, Clinton once said the U.S. economy required a “toppling” of the wealthiest 1%.

The rich are not causing all the problems in American society. People like Bill Gates are not acquiring wealth by stealing from the masses. They’re creating great products, which produce wealth, and actually provide jobs for many people. But, even if they were exploiting the poor, nowhere does Scripture support the have-nots demanding money from the haves. Instead, it teaches that we should not covet (Exodus 20:17) and should be content in all circumstances (Phil. 4:11-13). 

5. Socialism Seeks to Destroy Marriage & Family

A little known fact about socialism is that, from its beginning, it has sought to destroy marriage and family. Grove City Professor Paul Kengor explains this in detail in his book, Takedown: From Communists to Progressives, How the Left Has Sabotaged Marriage and Family. Essentially, what socialism seeks is for the state to replace the family. That way, it can indoctrinate children in its Leftist way of thinking, and remove from them any notions of God and religion.

Friedrich Engels, co-author with Marx of the “The Communist Manifesto,” once wrote that the society he envisioned would be one where “the single family ceases to be the economic unit of society. Private housekeeping is transformed into a social industry. The care and education of the children becomes a public affair.”

Similarly today, Bernie Sanders calls for a “revolution” in childcare and for the government to provide early childhood education beginning with children as young as six-weeks-old. And, he’s a proud supporter of gay marriage — what Kengor calls “communism’s Trojan Horse” to secure the final takedown of traditional marriage.

To socialists, what Bernie describes is a utopia. But, to Christians, it’s a dystopia. That’s because there’s nothing Christian about socialism — and there’s absolutely no way Jesus would ever support it.

America was not founded to be a Socialist Nation, no matter what attention-seeking clowns like Jim Carrey wish to believe.

I have noticed in the last few decades, a propensity among those in the Entertainment and Political Spotlight who have not been raised in a Christian home, to be intolerant toward those who have.

Americans’ Christian Faith, of which approximately 3/4ths of us, according to Gallup, still anchor our lives around, has been the Solid Rock upon which our nation was built. To deny that, is to deny reality, to re-write history, and, to, quite frankly, endanger “the Shining City on a Hill”.

As President Ronald Reagan said,

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under. 

Isn’t it interesting that those among us who claim to be the most tolerant are actually the least tolerant of all?

And, those who claim to be champions of “personal freedom” are enemies of the religious freedom secured for us in the United States Constitution?

You can separate the wheat from the chaff by paying attention to who talks about Freedom and Responsibility and who talks about the right of “citizens”, both legal and illegal, to “free stuff”.

Obama Back to Stump for Dems, Takes Credit for Trump’s Successes

Just as he guided his Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to victory in the 2016 Presidential Election, Former President Barack Hussein Obama is hitting the campaign trail to stump for Democratic Congressional Hopefuls running for office in the Midterm Elections in November.

Oh, wait. Hillary DIDN’T win. Did she?

FoxNews.com reports that

…The Obama speech was a preview of the argument Obama is likely to make throughout the fall. On Saturday, the former president will stump for House Democratic candidates from California at an event in Orange County, a conservative-leaning part of California where Republicans are at risk of losing several congressional seats.

Next week, Obama plans to campaign in Ohio for Richard Cordray, the Democratic nominee for governor, and Ohio Democrats.

In Illinois, Obama repeatedly argued that Republicans have reversed course in the Trump era on several issues, from the deficit to Russia. 

“What happened to the Republican Party?” he said. “Its central organizing principle in foreign policy was the fight against communism, and now they’re cozying up to the former head of the KBG.” 

He also referenced the anonymous New York Times op-ed and said of the claim staffers are secretly working to keep Trump in line, “That’s not how our democracy is supposed to work.”

“These people aren’t elected, they aren’t accountable, they’re not doing us a service by actively promoting 90 percent of the crazy stuff that’s coming out of this White House and then saying, ‘don’t worry, we’re preventing the other 10 percent.’”

Obama admitted that “neither party has been exclusively responsible for us going backwards instead of forwards” – citing southern Democrats who vociferously defended slavery – but said Republicans have traded a conservative vision for the country for one that’s more “radical” in more recent times.

Obama was at the University of Illinois to receive the Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government, an honor also bestowed upon civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and the late Sen. John McCain.

“I’m here to deliver a simple message, and that is: you need to vote because our democracy depends on it,” Obama said. 

First off, we’re NOT a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

And, if the Republican Party WAS “cozying up to the former head of the KGB” wouldn’t Mueller have proved it by now?

Not included in Fox’s description of Obama’s speech was the part where he accused Trump of being “divisive”.

Irony is embarrassed.

Barack Hussein Obama was the most divisive President in our nation’s history.

He made an art form out of speeches riddled with the rhetoric of Radical Division and Class Warfare.

Obama attacked Americans’ Christian Faith, attempting for 8 long years to restrict our practice of it to Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Heck, before he even became President, he was ridiculing average Americans in a Pennsylvania fundraiser by declaring that

“They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

He criticized our municipal police forces at every opportunity, often siding with those who broke the law rather than those who enforced it.

He used our Brightest and Best, protecting and serving our Sovereign Nation around the world as lab animals for social experimentation.

Oh, he also attempted to take credit for Trump’s Economic Policy Successes.

And, if you buy that, I have a Lifetime Membership in the Cory “I am Spartacus” Booker Fan Club to sell you.

What Obama and the Democrats who are allowing him and his lovely (cough) wife, Mooch…err Michelle, to stump for them do not seem to comprehend is the fact that the election results recorded on the night of November 8, 2016 were a referendum on his nightmare of a Presidency.

Average Americans living between the coasts rejected him and his hand-picked successor, Hillary Clinton on that fateful night.

With the economy roaring back and a Constitutionally elected President fulfilling his Campaign Promises, what makes the Democrats think that average Americans want to “move forward” into a “Democratic Socialist” country?

This Democrats’ oblivious nature to the reality of America’s Comeback just proves the old saying…

Denial is not just a river in Egypt.

Is What Trump Says to Americans and How He Says it the Cause of the Dems’ TDS?

Last night, President Donald J. Trump held another one of his “Rallies”. This time, it was held in Billings, Montana, in support of GOP congressional candidate Matt Rosendale in his quest to unseat Democratic Sen. John Tester.

During the Rally, the President, as he is wont to do, hit the proverbial nail on the head when he said

This election is about the Dems who want to abolish ICE and the GOP who want to abolish MS-13.

That is quite possibly the most succinct statement concerning what is at stake in the upcoming Midterm Elections that I have ever heard.

As an average American who has been sharing his thoughts in a written form on a daily basis since April of 2010, I have chronicled with fascination and disgust the day-to-day journey of the Democratic Party to the Far Left of the Political Spectrum, where it now resides.

Of course, by the time that I started my daily musings, the Democrats were already well on their way, having started their Progressive Journey back in the days of Woodrow Wilson.

What we witnessed during the nightmarish Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama was the icing being evenly distributed on the top of the cake in preparation to serve Marxism in the form of “Democratic Socialism” to the waiting “Proletariat”, average Americans like you and me.

Of course, we “ignorant, inbred hicks” here in the Heartland would not bow and serve our Democratic Masters willingly, so they started a drive for a new “Proletariat”, made up of those who had entered our country illegally.

And that, gentle readers, is why the Democrats want to abolish ICE.

They do not want those future Democratic Voters deported.

And, as you have no doubt noticed, they really do not seem to care that the bloody gang of barbarians known as MS-13 has invaded our country and is murdering Americans.

The manner in which the President made the above statement last night is another reason why the Democrats are all foaming at the mouth to somehow get President Trump out of office.

The President is not afraid to speak directly and forcefully. He is not a politician. He does not employ “weasel words” when he is speaking.

He speaks to us, not down to us.

And, try as they might, the Democrats just cannot overcome President Trump’s personal Communication Skills and his ability to communicate to and to resonate with the average Americans between the coasts who put him into office.

Even if their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, publishes “hit pieces” using “unnamed sources”.

NY Times Posts Op Ed By “Unnamed WH Insider” Attacking Trump…and Expects Us to Believe It

The New York Times on Wednesday published an explosive opinion piece written by an anonymous senior White House official who described a “two-track presidency” in which top officials are “working diligently from within to frustrate parts of [President Trump’s] agenda and his worst inclinations.”

The piece quickly triggered anger from inside the White House, as President Trump called it “gutless,” and Press Secretary Sarah Sanders demanded the unnamed author “resign.”

In the piece, entitled “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration,” the author wrote that the alleged actions by White House officials were not part of “the popular ‘resistance’ of the left.”

The Times’ Twitter account indicated that the author was a man. However, a Times spokesperson told Fox News that the tweet in question “was drafted by someone who is not aware of the author’s identity, including the gender, so the use of ‘he’ was an error.”

Trump responded at a White House meeting with sheriffs from across America.

“If I weren’t here, I believe the New York Times probably wouldn’t exist,” the president said to laughter and applause from the assembled sheriffs. “And someday when I’m not president, which hopefully will be in about six-and-a-half years from now, The New York Times and CNN and all of these phony media outlets will be out of business … because there’ll be nothing to write.”

In a statement, Sanders said the author of the piece was “a gutless, anonymous source to the failing New York Times.”

“We are disappointed, but not surprised, that the paper chose to publish this pathetic, reckless, and selfish op-ed. This is a new low for the so-called ‘paper of record,’ and it should issue an apology,” said Sanders, adding: “The individual behind this piece has chosen to deceive, rather than support, the duly elected President of the United States. He is not putting country first, but putting himself and his ego ahead of the will of the American people. This coward should do the right thing and resign.”

Later Wednesday, Trump tweeted: “Does the so-called ‘Senior Administration Official’ really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!”

“We are incredibly proud to have published this piece, which adds significant value to the public’s understanding of what is going on in the Trump administration from someone who is in a position to know,” a Times spokesperson said in response to the White House statements.

The op-ed’s author wrote that the officials “want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous … But these successes have come despite — not because of — the president’s leadership style, which is impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective.”

…”From the White House to executive branch departments and agencies, senior officials will privately admit their daily disbelief at the commander in chief’s comments and actions,” the official wrote.

“Meetings with him veer off topic and off the rails, he engages in repetitive rants, and his impulsiveness results in half-baked, ill-informed and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back.”

The author specifically noted Trump’s reluctance to take action against the Russian government after a former Russian spy-turned-double agent and his daughter were poisoned with a nerve agent earlier this year in the U.K.

“He complained for weeks about senior staff members letting him get boxed into further confrontation with Russia, and he expressed frustration that the United States continued to impose sanctions on the country for its malign behavior,” the official writes. “But his national security team knew better — such actions had to be taken, to hold Moscow accountable.”

The official said the like-minded colleagues were not carrying out the work of favorite Trump bogey “the so-called deep state,” but rather were working for “the steady state.” The writer also alleged that “there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment” to remove Trump from office because of the president’s “instability … But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. “

“So we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction,” the author wrote, “until — one way or another — it’s over.”

How…noble? Hardly.

This op ed from the failing New York Times has all the validity of John Woodward’s book, which I wrote about yesterday.

I don’t know who is the bigger coward, the Times or the fictitious “White House Insider”, if he even exists.

It takes no guts to write a salacious article based on an anonymous source.

There is no way to fact-check an “unnamed source”. It is a Liberal reporter’s dream.

The writer can pull his or her “facts” out of their imagination and, as is the case in the above article, use their fictitious work as a bludgeon to destroy the credibility of their target.

This week, with the paid protestors and Liberal Senatorial shenanigans at the Kavanaugh Hearing, along with the Woodward Book and this Weekly World News-style article published by the once proud New York times, America has witnessed just how maniacal the Democratic Party and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, have become in their quest to somehow redo the results of the 2016 Presidential Election.

If it was up to them, I truly believe that they would erase all of the domestic and Foreign policy gains made under President Trump, as well.

The Modern Liberals who are running the Democratic Party are so seduced by the failed theory of Marxism that they are willing to literally stage a coup in order to install Democratic Socialism as our form of government.

This whole effort to destroy President Trump from the FISA Dossier to Stormy Daniels to work of fiction being presented as being factual represents a new low in the history of our Two-Party System.

If the Democrats believe that they are doing themselves any favors by their out-of-control National Temper Tantrum, they are sorely mistaken.

Things could get very ugly if they do not rein in their anti-American actions and rhetoric.

Average Americans are not going to put up with this mess much longer.

WaPo’s Woodward Pens “Fear: Trump in the White House”…Another “Fire and Fury”?

President Trump on Tuesday asked whether Bob Woodward could be “a Dem operative” after an early copy of the veteran reporter’s soon-to-be-released book portrayed a chaotic White House plagued by infighting and bad-mouthing against the president.

Labeling details of the book “a con on the public” with “made up” quotes, the president also seemingly questioned the “timing” of the book reveal.

“The Woodward book has already been refuted and discredited by General (Secretary of Defense) James Mattis and General (Chief of Staff) John Kelly,” Trump tweeted. “Their quotes were made up frauds, a con on the public. Likewise other stories and quotes. Woodward is a Dem operative? Notice timing?”

An early copy of The Washington Post associate editor’s book was obtained by The Washington Post. According to the Post, it portrays a Trump White House that’s filled with second-guessing by members of Trump’s staff, who repeatedly bad-mouth him behind closed doors.

The book is to be released on Sept. 11.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shaj was asked about the book during an interview on Fox News’ “The Story with Martha MacCallum” Tuesday night and said that although he has yet to read it due to his focus on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, “what’s been reported about it is not the White House that I’ve seen.”

He also said that some people referenced in the details “have raised questions about the veracity of things that are being reported in that book.”

A number of other officials from the president’s staff – including Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, both of whom were specifically referenced in the book – have come out against it.

For those of you who may not know who Bob Woodward is, he has worked for The Washington Post since 1971 as a reporter and is now an associate editor there.

In 1972, he was paired up with fellow Investigative Reporter Carl Bernstein. In 1973, they were the ones who broke the Watergate Scandal wide open, leading to the bringing down of President Richard M. Nixon.

A darling of the Democratic Party, his new sensational offering has all of the validity of Michael Wolff’s poorly received book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”, which came out and quickly went down in flames last January.

Now, for the next few news cycles, Woodward will be the MSM’s shiny “new” or, at least, recycled weapon which they will brandish at every opportunity as the Vanguard/Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party. Just like everything else controversial that Modern Liberals have latched onto as gospel, it doesn’t matter if it actually happened or not, as long as the MSM can run with it, as if it is God’s Honest Truth.

At least, until it gets marked down to $2.00 a copy at Walmart.

Remember “Hands Up! Don’t Shoot?”

I have never seen more chest heaving angst, grief, and uncontrollable anger over a Presidential Election in all of my 59 years.

Don’t believe me. Watch footage from the Senate Kavanaugh Hearing yesterday which featured a rent-a-mob led by George Soros’ henchwoman Linda Sarsour, Radical Islamic Feminist (which should be a contradiction in terms).

Liberals are so desperate to thwart the progress that President Trump is making, in bringing our country back, both economically and as a World leader, that they are literally willing to sell their soul to Satan, through the dissemination of lies and innuendos which they desperately hope will result in the 45th President’s Impeachment or resignation.

Liberals who seem to spend their entire day on Social Media posting fake news stories, pulling “facts” out of their hindquarters, and posting anything and everything that they can, in order to attempt to remove President Trump from office, are probably in diabetic shock from consuming too many Cheetos and donuts in their Mom’s basement, as they attempt to comprehend what I am writing.

Here’s the deal, Snowflakes…

The majority of Americans will see through Mr. Woodward’s book for what it is: a work of fiction published for political propaganda purposes.

It doesn’t matter how many Facebook Political Pages that you post Liberal articles about it on.

None of these fake news stories, interviews with disreputable authors, Democrat-heavy polls, and photo-shopped pictures and stupid Occupy Democrat Memes on Facebook are making any difference to average Americans.

The Democrats, as a result of their own regional bias toward the major metropolitan areas on the East and Left Coasts, which has been obvious to average Americans for the last several decades, effectively divorced themselves from the people whom they claimed in every previous election cycle to “love”…Average Working Class Americans.

And now, they expect us to believe the Fake News and downright lies which they are desperately trying to distribute in a vain attempt get Trump out of office,  and which you are posting on Social Media ad nauseam, so that they and you, in your shared madness can get a do-over and Hillary Clinton will somehow miraculously become the President.

Americans do not care what the Main Stream Media…or you…think.

They are the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party and you are their unpaid (usually) stable boys and girls.

They produce it and you shovel it.

If you Petulant Provocateurs and Nattering Nabobs of Negativity would work with the rest of us toward strengthening our Sovereign Nation as hard as you are working in your efforts to turn us into another failed Socialist Nation, just think what could be accomplished.

But, then again, that would require ethics and a love of country,

Nike Names Kaepernick as Face of 30th Anniversary of “Just Do It” Campaign…”Sacrifice?” Really??

Nike selected the controversial former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick as the new face of the athletic wear company’s “Just Do It” campaign, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

“Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. #JustDoIt,” Kaepernick, who has been with Nike since 2011 though hasn’t played on an NFL team since the 2016 season, posted on Twitter on Monday afternoon.

The now-free agent quarterback, who led the Niners to Super Bowl XLVII where they fell to the Baltimore Ravens, stirred up controversy when he began kneeling during the playing of the national anthem prior to NFL games, beginning in the summer of 2016, to protest racial injustices against the African-American community.

Many other players have joined the movement since it began, which eventually led to NFL owners voting to enact a national anthem policy for the 2018 season. Under the new guidelines announced in May, players and others associated with the NFL who are on the sideline must stand during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner, while those who choose not to stand must remain in the locker room.

The policy has been on hold since July under an agreement with the NFL Players Association, and while the league and players union have tried to come to a deal that pleases both sides, it doesn’t appear likely that the two parties will have an agreement before the start of the 2018 season on Thursday.

The movement also caught the attention of President Trump, who lambasted Kaepernick and other players who participated in the pregame protests. Last September, the president called on NFL owners to fire any player who kneeled during the national anthem.

Television ratings declined nearly 10% across all networks during the 2016-2017 regular season, according to data from Nielsen, though that cannot be blamed solely on the anthem controversy. An average NFL game was watched by 1.6 million fewer people in 2017 versus the prior year— an overall decline from 16.5 million to 14.9 million, according to ESPN. Ratings saw a similar decline last season, falling 8%, the sports network reported. Still, 20 of the 30 top-rated shows on television last year were NFL games, according to Nielsen data.

Let’s get something straight before we go any further: Colin Kaepernick has sacrificed ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He was a mediocre player, at best.

Our Brightest and Best who defend our Sovereign Nation every day and those who stand in that Thin Blue Line, who protect our cities and towns are the ones who sacrificially lay their lives on the line every day.

What Nike is doing is taking a gamble probably based on some sort of marketing survey which found that a significant number of those who support the NFL Players taking a knee during the playing of the National Anthem purchase Nike tennis shoes and other products.

In the minds of the Nike Corporate Brain Trust, they have made a strategic move designed to maximize their revenue by appealing to their customer base.

The problem with their decision is that they are alienating any potential customers who think that Kaepernick and the millionaires in the NFL who are still taking a knee during the National Anthem are a bunch of ungrateful idiots.

Back in September of 2016, a few weeks after Kaepernick started his protest, CBSSports.com reported that

In one poll, which was conducted by Reuters, 72 percent of Americans said that they thought Kaepernick’s behavior was unpatriotic. Another 61 percent said that they do not “support the stance Colin Kaepernick is taking and his decision not to stand during the national anthem.”

Of course, the whole thing mushroomed after that, with the Main Stream Media gushing about how noble that the protest by the NFL Players was, while ignoring the fact that if these spoiled millionaire athletes really cared about the “community”, they would have followed the example of the legendary Jim Brown and would have actually been working with and mentoring young men in the community during the off-season.

The Nike Corporate Symbol, which is recognized around the world, is called “The Swoosh”.

In basketball, a “swoosh” is when you shoot the ball and it enters the basketball net dead center, without touching the rim.

This Marketing Strategy which Nike has unveiled is most definitely NOT a “Swoosh”.

They missed by a country mile.

Remembering Jerry Lewis and the MDA Labor Day Telethon…and Why It Couldn’t Be Produced Today

Another Labor Day will pass by today without a Muscular Dystrophy Labor Day Telethon.

I know that there are millennials reading this post who are wondering what in the world I am talking about.

Well, boys and girls, a long, long time ago, in a nation where citizens actually cared about one another, an American Icon, Comedian, and Philanthropist named Jerry Lewis poured his lifeblood into producing a nationally-televised program specifically designed to raise money on behalf of the Muscular Dystrophy Association to aid in the fight against Neuromuscular Diseases.

Born Joseph Levitch in Newark, New Jersey, his career in show business spanned 70 years. beginning with his first appearance with his parents, who were both entertainers, in the Catskill Mountains Circuit at age 5.

He passed away from natural causes on August 20, 2017 at the age of 91.

For 45 years, American families would, while spending time together, watch the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon. The telethon would begin on Sunday Evening and continue for 21 1/2 hours, ending on Monday evening at 5:00 p.m. Central. Co-hosted in later years by Ed McMahon and Norm Crosby, stars of stage, screen, and television would appear, alongside corporate executives, all there to raise money for “Jerry’s Kids”.

And, when I say “stars”, I mean STARS.

Jerry’s good friend, Sammy Davis, Jr. would come on every year, on Monday afternoon, and do a solid 30 minutes of entertaining, usually badgering Jerry, until he would come out and do a couple of songs with him, usually ending in a tap dance “challenge”.

Here is an example of how their friendship and antics together would entertain us every year:

Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, would come on after that and bring down the house, with several high energy numbers, wearing his huge American Eagle Belt Buckle and “TCB” Necklace, which Elvis Presley gave him as a sign of friendship and respect.

Speaking of the King, while Elvis did not appear live every year, usually, also sometime Monday Afternoon, Ed McMahon would say,

Jerry, we just received a call from Graceland.

Which meant that Elvis. known throughout my hometown of Memphis for his great generosity, had just phoned in a huge donation.

Perhaps, one of the most poignant moments in the history of the telethon came during the 1976 Program, when  the Chairman of the Board, Francis Albert Sinatra, showed up. Frank told Jerry that he had brought a friend with him and asked him to come out. That friend was Jerry’s ex-partner, Dean Martin. The two had been estranged for years. Jerry became emotional. He hugged Dino, and, when everyone became silent, he asked,

So, how ya been?

7 years ago, after 45 years of magnanimous service, raising untold millions for the MDA, Lewis was cruelly and unceremoniously dumped. In fact, the MDA did not even have the guts to tell Jerry Lewis that they dumped him!

We honor Jerry Lewis, we admire the work he’s done for us, and we respect his decision to retire.

That particular quote came from Valerie Cwik, the MDA’s interim president, at the time. She replaced Gerald Weinberg, who was reportedly behind Lewis’s ouster and who stepped down as president, after 54 years with the organization.

She made the lame argument that the changes in the telethon were part of a necessary evolution in fundraising strategy, to put less emphasis on the once-a-year event.

It has to change because the American audience has changed. A 21.5-hour show doesn’t fit in a 140-character world.

During 2016, the President of the MDA reached out to Lewis and attempted to smooth things over with him, opening the door for possible voice-over projects in the future.

Sadly, the gesture turned out to be too little, too late.

I swear, “The Smartest People in the Room”. a.k.a., Modern American Liberals, screw up everything.

Okay. I know that Lewis had a reputation as an ego-maniacal pain-in-the-rear to work with, but, these were people’s lives that the MDA was messing with. It could have, and should have, been handled differently.

However, Jerry Lewis also devoted over half his life for “his kids”, visiting them in hospitals around the nation, with no cameras around, along with calling and visiting Corporate CEOs and A-List Celebrities, getting them to help him raise money for those kids and adults struck down by these debilitating Muscular Disorders.

His ouster by MDA showed no respect or gratitude, whatsoever.

What happened to Jerry Lewis, has happened to American Society in general.

The lack of respect shown to Jerry had become Standard Operating Procedure for Modern American Liberals.

Jerry Lewis, if he were still alive, could not produce his Labor Day Telethon in the political climate of today.

The majority of those in the Entertainment Industry would not “lower themselves” to do it.

After all, critically ill average Americans, both children and adults, are not a part of the special interest groups which they prefer to “donate their time” to.

And, knowing the kind of American that Jerry Lewis was, they would have been told that any bashing of our country or the President would result in them not being invited back.

The focus of those telethons were those Americans afflicted with the terrible diseases which the MDA provided support and care for.

Quite frankly, I do not believe that our present bunch of “stars” could leave their hatred of President Trump and their own oversized egos in check long enough to perform on Jerry Lewis’s MDA Telethon.

In fact, after watching the memorial services of the last several days, I would say that my belief in a solid truth.

As far as today’s “stars” “shining” in Hollywood are concerned, they just don’t make them like they used to.

Jerry Lewis’ legacy will be that of a man, who, with all of his flaws, left an indelible mark on both the Entertainment and Medical Industries. The money which he helped raise for the Muscular Dystrophy Association helped advance their fight against neuromuscular disease.

And, while he was able to lend his talents to that great cause, “Jerry’s Kids” knew that they never walked alone.

Today’s Hollywood can not even admit that Neil Armstrong planted an American Flag on the moon.

The Political Funerals of Aretha and McCain…Why It’s a Shame

Americans tuned in to watch two memorial services and two political rallies broke out.

FoxNews.com reports that

Meghan McCain and President Barack Obama took apparent swipes at President Trump on Saturday in a eulogy for John McCain — who sparred with Trump on a number of occasions before his death last week of brain cancer. 
 
“The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great,’ McCain’s daughter said, in what appeared to be a reference to Trump’s presidential campaign slogan: “Make America Great Again.”

The remarks were made during a funeral service at Washington National Cathedral for the Arizona Republican, who died last week of brain cancer.

Obama’s jabs were more subtle but still appeared to be directed at the current occupant of the White House. He derided those in politics who traffic in “bombast and insult and phony controversies and manufactured outrage.”

He also attacked “a politics that pretends to be brave and tough but in fact is born of fear.”

“John called on us to be bigger than that. He called on us to be better than that,” he said.

It was Meghan McCain who had the most searing swipes at the president however. Notably she said that her father’s passing represented the passing of “American greatness. The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served.”

This was a continuation of a theme which began the day before at a different venue…

At a funeral service in Detroit on Friday for Aretha Franklin – who died of pancreatic cancer Aug. 16 at age 76, several speakers used the occasion not only to hail the Queen of Soul but to dump on President Trump.

“You lugubrious leech, you dopey doppelgänger of deceit and deviance, you lethal liar, you dimwitted dictator, you foolish fascist,” Georgetown University sociology professor Michael Eric Dyson said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “She ain’t work for you.”

Dyson was referring to a comment Trump made during a recent Cabinet meeting, recalling Franklin’s performances at a Trump casino in New Jersey soon after it opened.

The Rev. Al Sharpton also seized an opportunity to criticize the president.

“You know, the other Sunday on my show, I misspelled ‘Respect,’ and a lot of y’all corrected me,” Sharpton said, according to the Washington Examiner. “Now, I want y’all to help me correct President Trump to teach him what it means.

“And I say that because when word went out that Ms. Franklin passed, Trump said, ‘She used to work for me,’” Sharpton continued. “No, she used to perform for you. She worked for us. Aretha never took orders from nobody but God.” 

The Rev. Jesse Jackson, who ran for president as a Democrat in 1984 and 1988, issued a call for voter registration.

“Aretha was on the battleground for 60 years,” Jackson told the audience. “We have long lines to celebrate death, and short lines for voting. Something is missing. If you leave here today and don’t register to vote, you’re dishonoring Aretha.”

This is not the first time that a memorial service has been turned into a political rally.

Back in October of 2002, Minnesota Democrats used the memorial service for Democrat Senator Paul Wellstone as a political rally and an opportunity to push Walter “Fritz” Mondale as his successor.

Of course, back then, the entire nation was appalled by the Democrats boorish behavior and lack of decorum.

My…my…look at how far we’ve come…in the wrong direction.

The “smartest people in the room” are not even blinking an eye to the fact that the funeral services of two disparate people, who both, right or wrong, had an effect on our nation, were used as political platforms to continue to divide this nation.

Every American is entitled to their own political opinions. However, the old saying that there is a time and a place for everything still holds true.

Those overcome with Trump Derangement Syndrome,who attacked the President at these two memorial services showed about as much grace and decorum as the sketch from “The Blue Collar Comedy Tour” where Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry The Cable Guy were talking about a relative who opened up a can of beer in the middle of a funeral and how it was not a good idea to show up drunk to a funeral. At one point, the guys were looking down into a make-believe coffin, talking about the deceased, when one of them remarked, “Wait. That ain’t Mama!”

But, I digress…

What the last couple of days showed to us average Americans who live between the coasts, is that our perception of the Washington Establishment and the Far left Democrats sharing the common bond of Trump Derangement Syndrome has proven to be right on the money.

For those individuals to show their hatred for the President of the United States of America at such solemn occasions as these two memorial services was unseemly…but sadly predictable.

They still don’t get it.

Or, as we say in the South,

“Well, bless their hearts.”

FBI Arrests 5 Radical Islamists From New Mexico Compound That Judge Let Go

The FBI announced Friday that it had arrested all five New Mexico compound suspects, days after multiple charges were dropped. The suspects were now being charged with violating federal firearms and conspiracy laws.

The announcement comes after local prosecutors dropped charges in the death of a 3-year-old boy at the compound site. Taos County District Attorney Donald Gallegos said Friday his office would now seek grand jury indictments involving the death. Gallegos said seeking indictments would allow more time to gather evidence.

“The defendants, Jany Leveille, 35, a Haitian national illegally present in the United States, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, 40, Hujrah Wahhaj, 37, Subhanah Wahhaj, 35, and Lucas Morton, 40, are charged in a criminal complaint that was filed earlier today in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico,” the bureau said in a statement. 

“The criminal complaint charges Jany Leveille with being an alien unlawfully in possession of firearms and ammunition in the District of New Mexico from Nov. 2017 through Aug. 2018,” the bureau said. “The criminal complaint charges the other four defendants with aiding and abetting Leveille in committing the offense, and with conspiring with Leveille to commit the offense.”

On Wednesday, three of the suspects were released from custody, just hours after a judge dismissed all of the charges against them.

District Judge Emilio Chavez on Wednesday dismissed charges against Lucas Morton, Subhannah Wahhaj and Hujrah Wahhaj, ruling that authorities violated the state’s “10-day rule.”

Child abuse charges against them were dropped because prosecutors missed the 10-day limit for an evidentiary hearing to establish probable cause.

During a separate hearing Wednesday, Judge Jeff McElroy dismissed the same charges against fellow defendants, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and Jany Leveille. 

The five suspects were arrested by authorities after an Aug. 3 raid following a monthslong inquiry into the disappearance of Abdul-ghani Wahhaj, 3. The boy, who had severe medical issues, disappeared from Georgia in December. The occupants of the compound were “most likely heavily armed and considered extremist of the Muslim belief,” an official said at the time.

Taos County Sheriff’s deputies discovered 11 children at the compound, who were taken into the custody of state child welfare workers. On Aug. 6, a child’s remains were found on the property.

Siraj Ibn Wahhaj was allegedly training children to commit school shootings, according to prosecutors, who later alleged that the juveniles were taught how to use firearms, as well as tactical techniques, in order to kill teachers, law enforcement and other institutions they found corrupt.

Health officials confirmed earlier this month that the discovered remains were positively identified as the 3-year-old’s.

“…extremists of the Muslim belief”

Do tell.

I thought that they were a bunch of wild-eyed Southern Baptists.

…Except for the fact that they killed a 3-year-old and were training 11 other children how to blow up schools and kill Americans.

Oh, and then there’s the little coinky-dink that Siraj Ibn Wahhaj is the son of a Brooklyn Radical Imam, also named Siraj Wahhaj, who was named by prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the New York.

But, hey, there was certainly no reason for that judge not to let them go on a technicality, was there?

Thank the God of Abraham that the FBI and the Taos District Attorney threw those murderous animals back behind bars where they belong by pulling an Eliot Ness and thinking outside the box.

Of course, this entire blood-curdling story has been largely ignored by the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party, the Main Stream Media.

If you did not notice in the above article, one of those participating in the Radical Islamist Training Camp was an illegal immigrant from Haiti.

But, that is not the main reason that the MSM is ignoring this story.

For anybody with more than 2 working brain cells, (and, I know that leaves out a lot of Liberals) once President Trump suggested that we should actually pay attention to whom we allow into our Sovereign Nation, and, in turn, identifying Radical Islam by name as wanting to kill us all, it was game over, in terms of having a rational discussion about this issue with Modern American Liberals.

So, why have Liberals, in the MSM, and elsewhere, been so afraid to call Muslim Terrorists, Muslim Terrorists?

Is it because of that heinous practice, known as Political Correctness?

Political Correctness is a practice originated by Modern American Liberals, in purposeful obtuseness and naiveté, which can and will cost American Lives.

Have you ever heard the old story of “The Scorpion and The Frog”? A Scorpion and a Frog were standing at the bank of a river. The Scorpion said to the Frog, “If you’ll give me a ride across the river, I promise not to sting you.” The Frog said, “ How do I know I can trust you? If you sting me while you are on my back, we will surely drown.” The Scorpion said, “I know that. I won’t sting you. I promise.” So, they start across the river, the Scorpion riding on the Frog’s back. They are in sight of the opposite bank and, all of a sudden, the Scorpion stings the Frog. The Frog says, “You fool!. You stung me. Now we are both going to drown!” The Scorpion said, “I know. I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself. It’s just my nature.”

President Donald Trump is trying his dead-level best to keep American Citizens from being “stung” by “The Scorpion ” known as Radical Islam.

Modern American Liberals are acting as if they could care less.

How many more “camps” are located out in the middle of nowhere in our country, “flying under the radar”?

We need merit-based immigration and the Wall…and we need them now.
