With the sudden death of Senator Lindsey Graham and the unknown status of former Senate Majority Leader Mitch mcconnell, the remaining Republican members of the Senate find themselves in a very tight position.
The fact is that there are several members along with the current Majority Leader himself, who seem to be more enamored with the opposition party than they do with the wishes and politics of those who elected them.
Another problem is that Senator Graham, regardless of whether you cared for him or not, was a strong voice in the Senate and a loyal Republican who had the ear of President Trump.
While McConnell hates or hated, depending on whether he’s reached room temperature or not, Trump with every fiber of his being, as does Senate Majority Leader Thune, Graham supported Trump on 99.9% of his policies and strategies.
Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and others are going to have to pick up the slack and fight even harder to put through the Save America Act and other bills which are important to Trump’s Agenda because there will be fierce resistance from both the Democrats and the Vichy Republicans.
Thank you for yout service to the Republic, Senator Graham. Rest in peace.
Until He Comes,
