McConnell Upset That Tucker is Releasing January 6th Videos

“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) called Tucker Carlson’s segment on Jan. 6 “a mistake for Fox News,” a sharp contrast from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who supplied Carlson with the exclusive footage from the day of the attack that aired on Monday night.

The comments follow Thomas Manger, chief of the U.S. Capitol Police, denouncing the Fox News host’s portrayal of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol as “filled with offensive and misleading conclusions” and accusing him of cherry-picking footage to give a misleading account of the riots.

“I want to associate myself entirely with the opinion of the chief and the Capitol Police about what happened on Jan. 6,” McConnell said as he held up a copy of the Tuesday letter that Manger sent to his Capitol Police colleagues. “It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks.”

Carlson released the first portion of never-before-seen surveillance video from the riot at the Capitol by Trump supporters on his show Monday, calling it “mostly peaceful chaos.”

McConnell declined to say directly if he believes it was a mistake for McCarthy to share the Jan. 6 security footage with Carlson, sidestepping any criticism of the GOP leader. “My concern is how it was depicted,” he said.” (Courtesy WashingtonExaminer.com)

I am sure it is, Vichy Mitch.

So, why is McConnell reacting to the release of the footage identically to Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer?

It’s because Republican Senator “Vichy Mitch” McConnell is, above all, a Swamp Creature, a member of the Capitol Hill Elite.

McConnell, as the Majority Leader of the Senate, was responsible, along with Former (Thank God) Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, for providing security for the Capitol Building and oversight of the Capitol Police.

President Trump asked for 10,000 National Guard Troops to help with security that day…a request that was denied.

McConnell hates Trump and the MAGA Movement with every fiber of his being.

He is a professional politician who believes that his constituents serve him instead of the other way around.

Trump’s grassroots populism movement threatens the Washington Status Quo.

McConnell does not want the January 6th video footage released because it will show that the “rioters” were let into the Capitol Building by the Capitol Police themselves and that the whole “insurrection” was manipulated by Capitol Hill Insiders, including him.

This will be no surprise to the Republican Voting Base who do not trust the Capitol Hill Establishment Republicans any further than they can throw them.

Americans have watched the Republicans sell them out to the Democrats for years until Trump came along.

Trump connected with average Americans in a way no other Republican has since Ronaldus Magnus (Ronald Reagan).

The Republican Establishment had grown arrogant and aloof, distancing themselves from the people who gave them their cushy jobs on Capitol Hill.

President Trump came along and galvanized the average Americans in “Flyover Country” into a Conservative Juggernaut and a political force to be reckoned with.

He lifted the Republican Party up from the mire of the D.C. Swamp and showed them how to actually stand up to Pelosi, Schumer, and company.

I believe that the majority of Americans believe that what happened on January 6th was a set-up from the getgo, a continuous of the Capitol Hill TDS Americans witnessed throughout Trump’s 4 years in office.

And, the January 6th videos are confirming that belief.

Republican Senators Call for Pausing Next Week’s Leadership Elections…Will McConnell Get Voted Out?

“Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. isn’t the only prominent Republican calling for a pause in next week’s Senate leadership elections.

On Friday, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., reportedly circulated a letter to their Senate colleagues, imploring them to postpone the leadership votes, which are slated to run Wednesday morning.

“We are all disappointed that a Red Wave failed to materialize [on Election Night], and there are multiple reasons it did not,” the senators wrote in the letter, according to Politico. “We need to have serious discussions within our conference as to why and what we can do to improve our chances in 2024.”

…McConnell’s leadership legacy could be in peril. Former President Donald Trump has often criticized McConnell for favoring “establishment” Senate candidates, instead of embracing “America First” or MAGA candidates.

Also, a number of U.S. senators have spoken out against McConnell, questioning his methods for investing in certain Senate candidates — while pulling funds from others.

One prime example: McConnell recently caught heat for giving extra attention to the Alaska Senate race, even though two Republicans — incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and challenger Kelly Tshibaka — were competing against each other for the Senate seat.” (Courtesy Newsmax.com)

The reason that there are Republican Senators rising up against Senator Mitch McConnel remaining their leader has everything to do with the less-than-perfect results of last Tuesday’s Midterm Elections.

The professional politicians on both sides of the aisle up on Capitol Hill live in a bubble, totally and purposely oblivious from the wants and needs of the American Voters who gave them their cushy jobs.

When Donald J. Trump came down that golden escalator, along with his beautiful wife Melania, a loud thunderclap could be heard emanating from Capitol Hill and Democrat and Republican Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

That sound was the sound of the sphincters of all the “Keepers of the Washington Status Quo” slamming shut in unison.

You see, boys and girls, Vichy Republicans on Capitol Hill have made a lot of money being “buds” (i.e. servants) with the Democrats.

Of course, they have never won Presidential Elections, but, why should they care?

They were getting filthy rich from all of the stock tips and other perks which came from “reaching across the aisle”.

They knew that Trump was going to change all of that.

He was not coming to Washington to make money. In fact, he was not even going to take a salary.

He could not be bought.

And, by the way, that is just one of the reasons that Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the Never Trumpers among the Republican Elite hate our Former President so much.

He refused to take their money and play their games.

He would rather hold a MAGA Rally and speak directly to thousands of average Americans, that to attend some political soiree full of the Washington Elite.

But, I digress…

The majority of Americans want someone who will listen to and stand up for them.

They want Conservatives who believe in Traditional American Faith and Values and will fight against the Democrat’s plans to turn American into a Marxist country.

The Congressional Republicans know that this is true.

They also know that the support given to “Moderate” Republican Candidates by the Republican Senate Leader and his insults towards Conservative Candidates did not sit well with their party’s Conservative Base.

McConnell’s political strategy of “reaching across the aisle” and his embracing of “Moderate Politics” paint him as being weak and a “Vichy” Republican.

As the late, great Rush Limbaugh used to say,

“Conservatism ALWAYS wins.”

It’s time for the Capitol Hill Republicans to embrace the Conservatism of the majority of average Americans.

…and, start winning BIG TIME for a change.

“Vichy” Republican Mitch McConnell Downplays Senate Republican Candidates’ Chances…on Purpose

“Vichy Government (1940–45) – Regime established in France after the defeat by Germany in June 1940. Its capital was the town of Vichy, Auvergne, central France. It held authority over French overseas possessions as well as the unoccupied part of France. After German forces occupied Vichy France in November 1942, it became little more than a puppet government.” (Courtesy Encyclopedia. Com)

“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., thinks that Republicans have a lukewarm chance of flipping the Senate in November, citing “candidate quality” as a factor.

The senator made the honest prediction at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Thursday afternoon.

“I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate,” the minority leader anticipated. “Senate races are just different, they’re statewide. Candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.”

“Right now, we have a 50-50 Senate and a 50-50 country, but I think when all is said and done this fall, we’re likely to have an extremely close Senate. Either our side up slightly or their side up slightly,” McConnell explained.” (Courtesy FoxNews.com)

Okay, boys and girls. Here are a couple of questions for you:

Why would the top Republican in the Senate not want to be the Majority Leader after the 2022 Midterm Elections…and why would he NOT support EVERY Republican Candidate for the Senate?

Well, the ugly fact of the matter is that Mitch McConnell hates Donald J Trump and the MAGA Movement.

McConnell has a problem: The fact is that the Republicans do not have any chance of success in the 2022 Midterm Elections or the 2024 Presidential Election without the Charismatic Former President.

He probably knows that. However, as a “Vichy” Republican, he is so snobby and scared of losing his power within the Washington Swamp that he refuses to admit it.

Trump is the bridge needed between the Republican Elite roaming the Halls of Power in Washington and average Americans living in the Heartland.

Here’s a well-known “secret”: Those same average Americans, the Republican Voting Base, do not trust the Capitol Hill Establishment Republicans any further than they can throw them.

The only problem with an alliance between Trump and the Republican Establishment is the greed and the habit of pushing for political expediency which the Republicans on Capitol Hill have embraced for years.

It’s going to be up to Trump to keep them “honest”.

And, a MAGA Republican Political Tsunami in November will certainly help get things moving in the right direction.

Senate Votes in a Short Term Extension of the Debt Ceiling as McConnell and Vichy Republicans Give Dems Their Way…Again

59945b35f1a850c22a8b5192

FoxNews.com reports that

Senators voted to approve a short-term increase to the federal debt ceiling on Thursday night, ending a weekslong standoff on Capitol Hill and likely averting a default that could have triggered a recession.

Senate Democrats passed the $480 billion increase by a simple majority vote of 50-48. The vote on the final measure occurred after 11 GOP lawmakers joined Democrats in a vote to invoke cloture, clearing the 60-vote filibuster threshold.

The 11 Republicans who voted to allow the measure to proceed were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Minority Whip John Thune, John Cornyn, Lisa Murkowski, Shelley Moore Capito, Richard Shelby, Rob Portman, Susan Collins, John Barrasso, Mike Rounds and Roy Blunt.

The bill will now proceed to the House, where lawmakers could consider it by as early as next week. The $480 billion increase is enough to fund the government through at least early December.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and other business leaders had warned of a potential economic catastrophe if Congress did not raise the debt ceiling by Oct. 18 when the U.S. federal government would run out of cash to cover its obligations.

Republicans blocked multiple attempts to raise the debt ceiling in recent days, with GOP leaders arguing the Democrats should use the budget reconciliation process to suspend the borrowing limit without their help. But as the default deadline approached, McConnell offered to drop GOP opposition if Democrats raised the debt limit by a fixed dollar amount, buying Schumer and his allies more time to find a longer-term solution.

Democrats claimed victory after McConnell’s offer went public, with some claiming he had “caved” to political pressure. Some GOP lawmakers accused McConnell of giving up his leverage and capitulating to Democratic demands.

Last night, as I was driving home from work, I was listening to “Hannity” on Sirius XM Channel 114.

Sen. Lindsey Graham was on with Sean, and you could tell that he was embarrassed by McConnell’s spineless actions, even though he was trying to maintain the “good fellow well met” B.S. that the Republican Elite are famous for.

Hannity was not buying it and told Graham so.

Hannity said that the Republicans are acting just like they did before Trump came along.

He was right.

He refused to take their money and play their games.

He would rather hold a MAGA Rally and speak directly to thousands of average Americans, that to attend some political soiree full of the Washington Elite.

As shown by the polls which are showing that Trump is not only leading other prospective Republican candidates but also crushing Biden in a possible 2024 Presidential Race, the American People have had enough of the tone-deaf spineless Vichy Republicans and have definitely had enough of #DementiaJoe.

They want someone who will listen to and stand up for them.

Hence, the results of all of the polls on this subject.

That is why Sen. Mitch McConnell was so upset after Trump was acquitted in the last Shampeachment.

The Republican Elite know that these polls are true.

And, they are afraid of the “Deplorables” (me and you).

And, after yesterday’s spineless move, they have a right to be.

McConnell Moves to Block Proposal for K-12 “Culturally Response Teaching and Learning” Which References the Racially Divisive Revisionist History “1619 Project”

“The Biden Administration is now apparently pushing to get the New York Times’ anti-American 1619 Project taught in every public classroom in America. This is a line in the sand moment for our country and I will stand against it here in our county. ” – Glenn “Kane” Jacobs, Mayor, Knox County, Tennessee (Twitter)

FoxNews.com reports that

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and fellow Republicans are demanding President Biden’s Education Department block a planned history education proposal that invokes the 1619 Project.

McConnell penned a letter to Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona with more than 30 of his GOP colleagues blasting new proposed priorities for American history and civics teaching as “divisive nonsense.”

“Americans do not need or want their tax dollars diverted from promoting the principles that unite our nation toward promoting radical ideologies meant to divide us,” McConnell wrote.

The Education Department published the new proposal on April 19 for federal grant guidelines designed to promote more “culturally responsive teaching and learning” at K-12 schools. As positive examples, the Department of Education cites the “landmark” 1619 Project, the resources of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and “anti-racist practices” modeled by scholar Ibram X. Kendi.

The 1619 Project was a Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times Magazine enterprise that examined the long-term consequences of slavery in America. It was released in 2019 to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the first arrival of enslaved Africans in colonial Virginia in 1619. Certain historians have raised concerns with some of the claims, namely that slavery was a primary reason that colonists fought the American Revolution.

Some conservatives have panned the work as an attempt to rewrite history and balked at the 1619 Project curriculum being taught in schools. To counter the 1619 Project, former President Trump formed a “1776 Commission” that issued a report meant to support what Trump called “patriotic education.”

Shortly after taking office, Biden disbanded that commission that his team said: “sought to erase America’s history of racial injustice” and removed the 1776 report from the White House website.

McConnell’s letter to Cardona stresses broad concerns that schools are diving into culture wars to the detriment of teaching students factual history and civics lessons.

McConnell and his GOP colleagues lamented that Americans aren’t proficient in basic civics, such as naming the three branches of the federal government. Instead, certain schools and, now the federal government, are trying to inject “divisive, radical and historically-dubious” propaganda into the classrooms, the senators wrote.

“Taxpayer-supported programs should emphasize the shared civic virtues that bring us together, not push radical agendas that tear us apart,” they wrote.

The Department of Education’s proposed guidelines are targeted at a small voluntary grant program. Education Week notes the American History and Civics grants receive $5.3 million in federal funding, out of a roughly $74 billion budget for the department.

The Far Left Democratic Party is determined to not only rewrite American History but also to indoctrinate our children and grandchildren to hate America and our Traditional System of Faith, Values, and Patriotism.

Why is it wrong to be a Proud American?

Nationalism, placing the well-being of Americans Citizens first, is a good thing and is what being a President should be all about.

The Far Left-controlled Biden-Harris Administration, the Democratic Party and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, look down their noses at us average Americans living here in “Flyover Country” who believe that America is the greatest country on the face of God’s Green Earth and believing in American Exceptionalism.

Since the 8 years of the reign of King Barack The First, children and young adults, attending American Institutes of Learning from kindergarten to college campuses have been taught by Liberal teachers and professors that America was “just another country” and to be a patriot or to believe in “Nationalism” was to somehow be close-minded, ignorant, and bigoted, not necessarily in that order.

And now, these same clowns want to continue teaching revisionist History to our children and grandchildren while asserting that “educated people” believe that those of us who agree with Former President Trump’s optimism and “Nationalism” and those who disagree with their anti-American beliefs are  “racist” and “uneducated”.

They really need to visit America’s heartland, where all of us average and EDUCATED Americans live.

Believe of not, y’all, there are actually colleges and universities in “Flyover Country”.

In fact, where the exceptionalism of America actually lies is not in the Halls of Power nor in the Halls of Academia. But, rather in the courage and spirit of the average American. A courage and spirit, which our history proves, has driven American Citizens to build a nation, which is indeed exceptional among all others.

The secret of this country’s exceptionalism is the “Average Joe”, the 9 to 5′er, working himself into the grave to try to provide for his family.

It was this same “Average Joe”, who fired the shot heard around the world and began the War for American Independence, who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II, who waded through rice paddies in Vietnam, and who swallowed sand in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The same “Average Joe” who, as a New York City Policeman or Fireman, ran up the stairs of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, instead of running down them. The same “Average Joe”, who simply wants things to be easier in this life for his children and grandchildren, than he had it.

It is this same “Average Joe”, who takes family and friends in, when they are in the midst of a life-altering tragedy. The same “Average Joe”, who volunteers on a soup line or at a Senior Citizens Home, or, who begins a successful business in his basement.

And, it is this same “Average Joe” who, being fed up with the Democratic Party’s Far Left Crusade against anything and everything traditionally American, went to the voting booth and elected Donald J. Trump, a Citizen Statesman, as our 45th President.

And, we are the same ones who believe that there is no way in H-E-L-L that dementia-riddled doddering fool Joe Biden won the 2020 Presidential Election with out a massive case of Election Fraud.

And that, boys and girls, is why the Far Left Democratic Party and Joe Biden’s Handlers built a fence around OUR Capitol and are governing like a bunch of fascist dictators..

Their ego-driven political ideology does not permit them to consider the reality that theirs is still the minority political ideology in this nation.

While the East and “Left” Coast are indeed heavily populated in their metropolitan areas with Liberals (some of them even Legal Citizens), the reality is that the overwhelming majority of Americans are still Patriots who believe in God and Country.

It was an overestimation of their own intellect and an underestimation of the intelligence and unbridled love of average Americans for OUR COUNTRY, that cost the Democrats the Presidency in 2016.

And, stupid moves like attempting to teach our children and grandchildren that America is a “Racist Country” is going to blow up in their weasel-looking faces and cost them the next two national elections in 2022 and 2024.

As George Orwell said,

Patriotism is usually stronger than class hatred, and always stronger than internationalism.

Patriotism is still cool…and the Democrats are clueless.

Trump’s Request for 10,000 National Guard Troops for January 6th Speech was Rejected by Pelosi and Others for “Bad Optics”

See the source image

Newsmax.com reports that

Former President Donald Trump says he was concerned days before the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol about the size of the crowd expected near the Capitol and requested 10,000 National Guard troops to be deployed, but that his request was rejected because House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other leaders did not like the optics.

“I requested, I said this rally will be bigger than anything thinks,” Trump told Fox News’ Steve Hilton on “The Revolution” Sunday night, in an interview airing after his CPAC speech. “Everyone said we’ll be at the rally. It was, I think, the largest crowd that I have ever spoken to before. I have spoken to big crowds, hundreds of thousands of people, more than that, but hundreds of thousands of people.”

Trump said he “gave the number” to the Department of Defense that 10,000 members of the National Guard would be needed.

“They took that number, from what I understand, they gave it to people at the Capitol, that is controlled by Pelosi, and I heard they rejected it because they didn’t think it would look good,” said Trump.

According to the National Guard’s website, “the President of the United States can activate the National Guard for participation in federal missions. Examples of federal activations include Guard units deployed to Kosovo and the Sinai for stabilization operations and units deployed to the Middle East and other locations in the war on terrorism.”

On the day after the riot, Trump said in a recorded video that he “immediately deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to secure the building and expel the intruders.”

Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said Sunday on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” that Trump issued a “direct order” to have up to 10,000 troops ready.

Meanwhile, according to Jane Campbell, the president and CEO of the U..S. Capitol Historical society, Capitol Complex security is the direct responsibility of a four-member Capitol Police Board, which includes both the House and Senate sergeants-at-arms, who report to the leaders of those chambers, reports PolitiFact.

Paul Irving, who had been the House sergeant-at-arms at the time of the attack, Michael Stenger, the Senate’s sergeant-at-arms, and Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund all resigned after the attack.

According to reports from The Washington Post and The New York Times, Irving told Sund he didn’t want troops at the Capitol on Jan. 6 because of “bad optics.”

Pelosi’s office and the Defense Department have not immediately responded to Trump’s comments, reports Fox News.

Trump also told Hilton that he “hated” to see what unfolded at the Capitol, but denied that he was watching the events unfold on television in real time and compared the riot to unrest that took place in cities such as Portland and Seattle last summer.

Now, boys and girls, I’m just spit-balling here, but there a several things that just do not add up in Pelosi and the Democrats’ version of what happened on January 6, 2021.

Information has come out that the “insurrection” was pre-planned. An allegation proven by the fact that pipe bombs were planted and found before the end of President Trump’s speech that day.

Also, the “rioters” were already “storming” the Capitol while Trump was still speaking.

And, why, as seen in the article above, did Pelosi and McConnell block the request for 10,000 National Guard Troops from President Trump, himself?

Oh, and why did the police officers guarding the Capital Building let the rioters in?

By the way, of the two hundred fifty people, out of the tens of thousands who were at Trump’s Speech, arrested for their actions that day, they are finding nut jobs who DID NOT VOTE FOR TRUMP.

In fact, they did not even vote in the 2020 Presidential Election.

Y’know, Pelosi sure is reticent to talk about her duties as Speaker of the House as they pertain to the “insurrection”.

I hope that I do not sound like a conspiracy theorist, but…what if the entire “insurgence” on January 6th was not just preplanned but it was a political frame job by Pelosi and the Democrat Elite.

Come to think of it, my supposition is not that far-fetched when you consider the same crowd attempted to unconstitutionally impeach a private citizen simply because they were overcome with Trump Derangement Syndrome and they did not want to him to be able to run for President again in 2024 or be involved in politics in any way.

And, now those same professional politicians are going to to provide cover for themselves with a “9/11-Style Commission”, once again going after a private citizen in a vendetta which the entire nation has already recognized to be wrong and not important to the needs of our country and her people .

To quote Elmer Fudd, “Something awfuwwy scwewy is going on around heah.”

When Asked on Fox News, McConnell Says He Will “Absolutely” Support Trump If He is the Republican Presidential Candidate for 2024

Newsmax.com reports that

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday that he would “absolutely” support Donald Trump if he were the Republican Party’s nominee for president in 2024.

His remarks, in a Fox News interview, marked an about-face from less than two weeks ago, when he delivered an impassioned speech from the Senate floor in which he held Trump “practically and morally responsible” for the mob that attacked the Capitol on Jan. 6th.

McConnell and other Republicans, including Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming have suggested that it was time for the party to move on and find new leaders despite polls showing that most Republicans remain attached to the former president.

Yet the party is also keen to cast aside the notion that it’s engulfed in a civil war as it confronts the new Biden administration and prepares for the 2022 elections.

“The Republican party is actually in very good shape,” McConnell said in the Fox interview. “We gained seats in the House, we elected 50 Republican senators when everybody was predicting we were going to lose the Senate. The Democrats didn’t flip a single state legislature, we flipped two, picked up a governor.”

The Republicans did lose control of the Senate, but it remains divided 50-50.

McConnell dismissed reports of party discord and said President Joe Biden “has made it quite easy for us to get together.”

On Feb. 13, McConnell voted to acquit Trump on charges of inciting the Jan. 6 insurrection, but just minutes later condemned him in the floor speech. “The leader of the free world cannot spend weeks thundering that shadowy forces are stealing our country and then feign surprise when people believe him and do reckless things,” he said.

Trump fired back days later with a sarcastic response, mocking McConnell as “a dour, sullen and unsmiling political hack” and warned senators who remained loyal to their leader “will not win again.”

When Trump was president, McConnell was his chief ally in shepherding the 2017 tax law and filling the federal judiciary with Trump’s nominees. But the two men had an uneasy relationship that McConnell managed by rarely engaging Trump publicly, making his floor speech all the more extraordinary.

McConnell is not attending this weekend’s Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, in which Trump will be the star attraction.

That’s because “The Turtle” was probably not asked to be there.

Let’s face it.

Establishment Republicans, like Mitch McConnell, have seen the poll numbers.

Per JustTheNews.com,

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has seen his unfavorable ratings skyrocket in recent weeks following his public break with former President Donald Trump, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.

They know now that they do not have any chance of success in the 2022 Midterm Elections or the 2024 Presidential Election without the Charismatic Former President.

They probably knew before but they are so snobby that they just did not want to admit it.

Trump is the bridge needed between them and average Americans living in the Heartland.

Here’s a well-known “secret”: Those same average Americans, the Republican Voting Base, do not trust the Capitol Hill Establishment Republicans any further than they can throw them.

The only problem with the alliance between Trump and the Republican Establishment is the greed and the habit of pushing for political expediency which the Republicans on Capitol Hill had embraced for years. McConnell’s rant after the Shampeachment Acquittal is a perfect example.

It’s going to be up to Trump to keep them “honest”.

Trump Replies After McConnell Blames Him for Capitol Hill Riot After Acquittal: “Mitch is a Dour, Sullen, and Unsmiling Political Hack”

Image

Newsmax.com reports that

In the most caustic sign yet of deepening GOP divisions, former President Donald Trump blistered Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., as a “political hack” on Tuesday, days after the Senate’s top Republican denounced him as the inciter of U.S. Capitol attack.

“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm,” Trump said in a statement released by his political action committee.

He went on to write: “Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack, and if Republican Senators are going to stay with him, they will not win again.”

A McConnell spokesperson did not immediately return requests for comment.

The deeply personal attack follows McConnell’s speech over over the weekend saying Trump was responsible for the deadly insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6. But McConnell said that only after he joined other Republicans in voting against the former president’s conviction during a Senate impeachment trial that accused Trump of inciting the mob.

“There’s no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day,” McConnell said Saturday, after Trump, the only president to be impeached twice, was acquitted on a 57-43 vote. “The people who stormed this building believed they were acting on the wishes and instructions of their president.”

McConnell said he voted to acquit Trump because the Senate has no jurisdiction over an ex-president — even though he had rejected a push from Democrats to start the trial when Trump was still in office. The House impeached Trump a week before he left office.

McConnell had remained loyal to Trump during nearly all of his four years in office, when the pair were the two most powerful members of the Republican Party. But, after Trump spent months making claims election fraud cost him the November election against Democrat Joe Biden, McConnell said overturning the vote because of objections from the losing side would see American democracy enter “a death spiral.”

Republican officials in battleground states including Georgia and Arizona have also said the election was fair. Trump’s accusations of election fraud were rejected by judges at all levels of the judiciary, including those appointed by Trump himself.

The former president’s statement promises to further fuel an intraparty struggle.

Some, like the seven Republican senators who voted to convict Trump during the second impeachment trial, have sought to distance the party from the former president. But others have remained loyal in hopes of not alienating Trump supporters during future elections.

In his statement, Trump criticized McConnell for failing to do more to back his unfounded claims of election fraud. He also said McConnell “begged” for his endorsement in the senator’s home state of Kentucky while running for reelection last year — and suggested he would work to defeat McConnell and his Republican allies, saying he planned to “back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great.”

“This is a big moment for our country,” Trump wrote, “and we cannot let it pass by using third rate ‘leaders’ to dictate our future.”

Here is the hard truth of the above article: Average Americans had been holding their noses while voting for the Republican party for some time.

That is, until Donald J. Trump came along.

The Presidential Campaign of Donald J. Trump was something different that your average Republican’s campaign for President.

It was a Populist Movement.

Dictionary.com defines “populism” as

1. the political philosophy of the People’s party.
2. (lowercase) any of various, often antiestablishment or anti-intellectual political movements or philosophies that offer unorthodox solutions or policies and appeal to the common person rather than according with traditional party or partisan ideologies.
3. (lowercase) grass-roots democracy; working-class activism; egalitarianism.
4. (lowercase) representation or extolling of the common person, the working class, the underdog, etc.:populism in the arts.

That word first reappeared in the American Lexicon, when Sarah Palin almost dragged John McCain’s RINO Rear across the Finish Line, in the Presidential Election of 2008.

The Grassroots Movement, which began back then, led us to a seminal moment in American Politics.

The American People spoke in 2016 and are still speaking, loud and clear.

Donald J. Trump was a “Citizen Statesman”, such as our Founding Fathers envisioned.

A Presidential Candidate has to build a coalition, in order to win the Presidency.

Ronald Reagan, and, again, I am not comparing Trump to Reagan, figured out in 1980, that, in order to win the presidency, you had to bypass the Republican Establishment and go directly to the American People.

That is exactly what Donald J. Trump did.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, broke that fact down for us during his program on February 10, 2016…

This is what the Republican Party’s been telling us they need to win.  I’ve had ’em come to my office.  I’ve told you.  I’ve had Rand Paul here, Mitt Romney’s here.  One thing they’ve all said in common is that Republican Party can’t win with Republican votes alone anymore.  We have to branch out, we have to reach out.  This is what they were telling me to prepare me for some of the campaign tactics that I was gonna see. That they were gonna have to reach out and immigration was one of the ways of reaching out, supporting amnesty. Well, all along Trump has built that coalition the Republican Party claims to want and they’re out there badgering it and bashing it.  It’s exactly what they claim to want.  They could have had it.  The Republican Party could have had the Trump coalition.  They could have had it at health care.  A majority of Americans opposed Obamacare from the get-go.  The Republican Party could have seriously attempted to form an alliance with the Tea Party and the anti-Obamacare people and been a dominant majority party on that issue alone.  And then on subsequent issues to come down the pike the Republican Party could have formed an alliance with majorities in other areas of opposition, and they didn’t.

Donald Trump has the exact coalition the Republican Party, to a man, has told me they need to win, that they need to thrive.  And now they’re reduced to bashing it by virtue of bashing Trump.  And now they’re reduced to bashing it by virtue of bashing Cruz.  The two people who are showing the Republican Party all they had to do all these past seven years, but they didn’t.  They purposely, strategically, tactically refused to push back, refused to make a spectacle of stopping Obama, and they have themselves to blame for this predicament.

People are not gonna donate and donate and vote and vote and hear the right things during campaigns, the promises to stop Obama, to oppose Obamacare, to seriously make an effort to repeal it.  Even if they don’t have the votes to override a veto, the effort, all it would have taken was the effort, all it would have taken was put the onus on Obama, make Obama illustrate that all this is his fingerprints.  No such strategy was ever seen.
As I gave previously written, Trump is riding the crest of an ever-growing anger over the inaction of Professional Politicians, whom, after being voted into National Office by their constituents back home, have literally bitten the hand that feeds them, tossing Ma and Pa Kettle aside for Big Money Donors and the Political Prestige of “reaching across the aisle”, i.e.. “selling out”.

Now, in 2021, members of that same political party, including its Political Leader, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, seem determined to commit political seppuku by shunning Former President Donald J. Trump.

Regarding those who continue to insist that they are on the side of average Americans and are working at banishing Trump “for the good of the Republican Party”…

Former President Trump showed y’all how to win and a lot of you “Establishment Republicans” furthered your political career by riding his coat tails to positions of power on Capitol Hill.

Y’all want to go back to your political strategy of of reaching across the aisle (i.e. sucking up) to the Democrats and allowing them to pass whatever cockamamie laws they want to while they raises our taxes and the amount we pay for gas to fill up our cars so that we can go to work and provide for our families.

That is how we got stuck with Former President Barack Hussein Obama, aka “Petulant President Pantywaist”.

If the Republican Establishment keeps mooning average Americans and showcasing their Spines of Jello, instead of supporting the wishes of those who sent them to Capitol Hill, average Americans are liable to show them what they think of them by starting a new party behind Donald J. Trump.

However, I am beginning to believe that the Vichy Republicans. for all of their bluster, could care less.

As it has  proven, without a doubt in the past, the Republican Establishment’s arrogance will be their undoing.

After all…

Actions (and Inactions) have consequences.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, remains a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who became a wonderful public servant.

Does Donald J. Trump need to “tone it down”, in terms of his fight against those who would preserve the Washingtonian Status Quo?

Only if he wants to sound like a Professional Politician.

And, we Americans have had our fill of them.

Until He Comes,

Shampeachment 2: TDS Boogaloo…Send in the Clowns!

Newsmax.com reports that

The Senate leaders have reached a deal with House impeachment managers on the rules for the second trial of former President Donald Trump.

“All parties have agreed to a structure that will ensure a fair and honest impeachment trial,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., announced Monday on the Senate floor. “The structure we have agreed to is eminently fair. It will allow for the trial to achieve its purpose: truth and accountability.”

There will be a debate and a subsequent simple majority vote Tuesday on the constitutionality of the impeachment trial of a former president. The Democrats have more votes in the Senate if it breaks 50-50, since Vice President Kamala Harris would cast the deciding vote. Late last month, 5 anti-Trump Republicans voted with Democrats to proceed to a Senate trial.

Then, Wednesday, there will be 16 hours of debate for both the House impeachment managers and Trump’s defense lawyers. Trump has declined an invitation to testify on his behalf.

After the senator jurors’ question period, there will be a debate and a vote on whether to call witnesses, as requested by the House impeachment managers. No witnesses were called during the passing of the House article of impeachment of “incitement of an insurrection.”

“There must, there must be truth and accountability if we are going to move forward, heal, and bring our country together once again,” Schumer said. “Sweeping something as momentous as this under the rug brings no healing whatsoever.

“A president cannot simply resign to avoid accountability for an impeachable offense, nor can they escape judgment by waiting until their final few weeks in office to betray our country.”

“The impeachment powers,” he added, “cannot be defeated by a president who decides to run.”

The trial will recess by Friday 5 p.m. ET through Saturday at the request of defense attorney David Schoen, who observes the Jewish Sabbath, per the report.

Whatever.

It is still unconstitutional!!!

Retired Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax TV on Monday that former President Donald Trump’s lawyers have three fundamental principles to argue in his impeachment trial when it starts on Tuesday, not the least of which is that the Senate can’t violate the Constitution to convict him.

Dershowitz, who defended Trump in his first impeachment trial a year ago, said Trump’s attorneys should argue several points against the charge of “incitement to insurrection.” The charge by the House refers to when he spoke to supporters on Jan. 6 in Washington before some breached the U.S. Capitol. Some lawmakers allege he egged them on in his remarks before the riot, in which there were five fatalities.

Point 1 to Dershowitz: The Senate has no jurisdiction over a former president. If it did, it could convict any former officeholder — think former President Bill Clinton, for instance — without a statute of limitations.

Secondly, Trump’s speech to supporters in Washington, in which he reiterated his long-standing claim that he lost the Nov. 3 election due to massive election fraud, was constitutionally protected.

He said the Trump team should argue that Congress cannot deny Trump the freedom of speech by saying it doesn’t apply to him.

“The Senate can’t violate the First Amendment in it’s impeachment,” Dershowitz said on “Spicer & Co.” “The House managers said the First Amendment isn’t applicable. Impeachment stands on its own.”

reeheesn the clow, send in siping circusarticipating in this three-cpectablet rt In my 62 years of life, I have never seen a President relentlessly attacked by the opposition party the way the President Donald J. Trump was.

Heck, they started before he and Melania came down that escalator to announce his candidacy.

That is how much they feared the man.

Even the Chinese releasing a worldwide plague in the form of a coronavirus couldn’t stop him. It merely slowed him down.

The economy was beginning to come back before the election.

If you consider the enormity of the political attacks which President Trump has had to endure over the last 5 years, it is simply amazing that he kept his hand on the captain’s wheel of the Ship of State.

Even before he was a candidate, the Deep State, under the orders of President Barack Hussein Obama was spying on him.

He had to battle a snobbish Republican Elite to even make it to the primaries when he emerged victorious over a group of professional politicians.

He then had to battle the Vichy Republicans, the Democrats, and the Main Stream Media, who all would have rather the Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton had won the Presidency.

Then, once he took the Oath of Office, all bets were off, as the Republican-led House and Speaker Paul Ryan , along with Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Vichy Republicans in the Senate fought him every step of the way,, including appointing a Special Counselor to investigate “Russian Collusion”, which was a false charge from the get-go, which eventually failed to prove anything.

Then, after the Democrats took back the House in 2018, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff, and the rest of the cast of idiots attempted a sham impeachment based on a “perfect” phone call to the President of Ukraine.

And, after all of that, he had to face was a rigged election, which polls show that 76% of Americans admit was rigged.

Now, the Democrats and Vichy Republicans have come up with the ultimate plan: an unconstitutional impeachment of a private citizen, accusing him of inciting violence in our nation’s capital.

If found guilty in their kangaroo court, Donald J. Trump will never be able to run from President again.

There are several problems with this ultimate plan drawn up by “the smartest people in the room”.

First, evidence continues to come out that this attack was preplanned. President Trump had nothing to do with it.

Second, he called upon the crowd to “peaceful protest”. While he was doing that, the preplanned attacked was already in progress.

Finally, you cannot, as Professor Dershowitz pointed out, convict a private citizen for exercising their First Amendment Right to Free Speech.

If you could, Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer and the rest of the Democrats who have threated Trump and his supporters over the last 4five years, would already be in jail.

Today will be the start of a sorry spectacle.

All those who participated in all of the illegal and Unconstitutional acts perpetrated against President Trump in the last five years and are participating in this three ring circus should be ashamed.

However, they are all professional bureaucrats and politicians.

They have no shame.

So…send in the clowns.

Too late…they’re here.

Until He Comes,

Tone-Deaf Vichy Republicans Pleased That Dems are Trying to Impeach Trump Again

See the source image

Newsmax.com reports that

Despite the widespread press given House GOP Conference Chairman Liz Cheney’s announcement Tuesday night she would vote for President Donald Trump’s impeachment, sources within the conference insisted to Newsmax “fewer than 10” House Republicans would join her.

“Not even 10 — fewer than 10,” one GOP lawmaker told us. He spoke to us under a vow of anonymity, following a conference call among House Republicans over new security measures in the House.

Cheney, the number three member in the House Republican hierarchy, was the second of three Republican representatives to announce their support of impeaching President Trump in the vote scheduled for Wednesday.

The other two are Reps. John Katko, R-N.Y., and Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., both of whom are considered more moderate than most Republican House members and have had public differences with the president.

Later Tuesday, Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich., announced he too will vote to impeach, Upton spokesman Josh Paciorek told Reuters.

Also, from Newsmax.com

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., reportedly told associates President Donald Trump committed impeachable acts and is done defending him.

According to The New York Times on Tuesday, McConnell has told people he is pleased Democrats have moved to impeach the president because it will make it easier to rid Trump from the Republican Party.

The Hill reported McConnell told friends he has not spoken to Trump since December, and was no longer defending him.

“He’s genuinely furious about what happened last week and what led up to it,” a GOP source told The Hill about McConnell’s anger over the storming of the Capitol.

Shortly before demonstrators attacked the Capitol to protest the election results, McConnell gave a speech that broke from Trump, who alleged voter fraud in several key battleground states resulted in Joe Biden winning the election.

The House will vote Wednesday to formally charge Trump with inciting violence against the country. McConnell has not revealed whether or not he would vote to convict Trump on an article of impeachment, according to The Hill’s Senate Republican sources.

Can you say “Vichy Republican”, gentle readers? I knew that you could.

So, what about the 45th President of the United States of America has put a burr up Burr’s saddle?

Trump is the first non-politician since our nation’s early days to become the President of the United States of America.

And, he did a great job, having more accomplishments in 4 years that most Presidents do in 8.

Due to their arrogance, tone-deafness and the fact that they are completely out of touch with average Americans living here in the Heartland, the professional politicians up on Capitol Hill are ignoring some basic facts.

To put it bluntly, those Washington Insiders on both sides of the Political Aisle who are so offended by President Trump are the ones who put him in office.

A bunch of Never-Trumpers who were in in the Republican Party,  such as Paul Ryan, left Congress before the 2018 Midterm Elections. offended that a rank outsider somehow became our 45th President.

While the Vichy Republicans who remain in Washington, DC, like  Rep. Jill Cheney and Sen. Mitch McConnell, continue to be offended by the fact that Donald J. Trump is President, average Americans living between the coasts continue to be offended by “NeverTrumper” Professional Politicians like him.

Anger has played an important part in the forging of this great country.

It was anger that formed our country….an anger over being held captive to “Taxation Without Representation”…an anger which, as a prime example of history repeating itself, led Americans to choose a Citizen Statesman for their 45th President over a Professional Politician.

It is this anger, which also propelled Donald J. Trump to his victory in the 2020 Presidential Election…and those who prefer the Washingtonian Status Quo seem to have forgotten that fact.

That is why the Republican Establishment, at least some of them like Sen. McConnell, are “biting the hand that fed them”, calling for another sham impeachment of President Trump days before he leaves office.

The funny thing is, for all of their angst and “concern”, if they had not accepted the reality of his Republican Primary Victory, and the fact that Americans were angry, they would have gone down to defeat in 2016 and the company would have suffered under the oppressive rule of President Hillary Clinton as they are about to suffer under the rule of Biden’s handlers.

If the Republican Establishment believes that they will achieve another victory in a Presidential Election by once again trying to push the Jello of “Liberal Moderation” up a hill, they are delusional.

Please reference the failed campaign of Jeb! Bush.

When Trump ran for the Presidency in 2016, the American people were tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, was a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He was not a professional politician. He was a businessman who wanted to become a public servant.

And,  what he has accomplished as President while being the subject of 4 years of constant personal attacks on him and his family has demonstrated that he was up to the challenge.

President Trump exemplified leadership ability and a concern for our country that we did not see from his predecessor.

Meanwhile, those on the left are still participating in a National Temper Tantrum, even after they successfully stole the 2020 Presidential Election, proceeding to attempt another sham impeachment at the end of Trump’s Presidency for no reason other than they do not like him.

And, the NeverTrumpers in the GOP Elite are gladly helping them.

Pit-i-ful.

To those Republicans who would rather stand with the Democrats than stand up for a Republican President, it is time for you to go ahead and get it over with and switch parties, go stand with your Democrat Friends, and then sit down and shut up.

Try not to ruin America for the next two years while your replacements in Congress get ready.

It’s not about what you want.

It is about what us average Americans want.

After all, you are supposed to be working for US.

Until He Comes,

KJ
