She’s Back! Sarah Palin to Run for Congress

Liberals love to brag that they are the most intelligent and the most tolerant people in any room that they walk into.

That is a bunch of self-conceit and downright baloney.

When a Conservative (the political ideology of the majority of Americans) calls them on their overestimation of their intelligence, and humiliates them in public, if you will (as the Late Legendary Professional Wrestler, the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes, used to say), they stalk them, like a hyena stalking a wounded gnu, waiting for the opportunity for revenge.

For example, even though they will stand up and tell you that Former Vice-Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin is nothing but a has-been, reality show-starring ‘chillbilly”, they still view her as  a thorn in their Collective Side. That being said, they are still looking for ways to “get even” with the Former Governor of Alaska…any way they can.

Back in July of 2009, Alaskan Fisherman, Dewey Whetsell, wrote the following list of Sarah Palin’s accomplishments as Governor of Alaska:

1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor’s office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican’s “Corrupt Bastards Club” (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits The Democratsreacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, “la la la la” (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.

2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called “ACES.” Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, “don’t let the door hit you in the stern on your way out.” They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.

3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor’s office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as “pork.” She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the “when-hell-freezes-over” stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we’ll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor’s jet because it was extravagant.

Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor’s cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning – I imagine – that she’s packing heat herself). I’m still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.

4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed “gosh and golly” mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn’t impress you, then you’re trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.

5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn’t start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.

So now, after years away from public life, Former Governor Palin is throwing her hat in the ring and running for Congress in her Home State of Alaska.

I can already hear the cries of the Democrat Elite and the Vichy Republicans. They, along with the Main Stream Media, will once again pounce on her like a pack of hyenas, calling her everything but a Child of God.

They will also use this as an excuse to try to turn the eye of the public away from Hunter Biden’s laptop and his Dad’ and Uncle’s involvement in International Pay-for-Play Larceny.

However, considering the fact that Thanks to Biden, America is going to h*** in a handbasket, I think the public is ready for a little plain talk and common sense.

The enemies of America who roam the Hallowed Halls of DC are just as afraid of Sarah Palin as they are of Former President Donald J. Trump.

And, that’s a good thing.

Chris Wallace Heads to CNN…Is Fox News Finally Listening to Their Audience?

Chris Wallace

Newsmax.com reports that

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace announced he’s leaving the network. A short while later, CNN confirmed he was joining their new network streaming service, CNN Plus.

Wallace said he’s ‘ready for a new adventure.’

Variety first reported the move to CNN, which CNN ‘Reliable Sources’ host Brian Stelter confirmed just before noon Sunday.

Wallace, the anchor of Fox News Sunday since 2003, announced his departure on the program Sunday morning.

“After 18 years — this is my final Fox News Sunday,” Wallace said. “It is the last time — and I say this with real sadness — we will meet like this.”

Calling his time at Fox News “a great ride,” Wallace said he’s “decided to leave Fox.”

“I want to try something new, to go beyond politics to all the things I’m interested in,” he added. “I’m ready for a new adventure. And I hope you’ll check it out.”

Fox News issued a statement: “We are extremely proud of our journalism and the stellar team that Chris Wallace was a part of for 18 years. The legacy of ‘Fox News Sunday’ will continue with our star journalists, many of whom will rotate in the position until a permanent host is named.”

Fox News last announced a contract extension for Wallace in 2017, and his current agreement with Fox News is believed to have come to an end.

Fox News Channel is expected to staff “Sunday” with a rotation of hosts, Variety reported. Bret Baier, John Roberts, Shannon Bream, Martha MacCallum, Neil Cavuto, Dana Perino and Bill Hemmer are among the network’s news staffers who are likely to take the Sunday seat in weeks to come.

The news comes as a cable news old guard is moving out of traditional nightly news. Last week, NBC News’ Brian Williams signed off from his 11 p.m. program on MSNBC after 28 years with the network. And MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is likely leaving her daily program next year as she pursues different types of journalism endeavors with the network. That leaves a key 9 p.m. primetime spot open.

Finally, there was the Chris Cuomo scandal. Cuomo was terminated from the network last Saturday following new revelations from a legal review made by the company into Cuomo’s involvement in the management of his brother’s sexual harassment scandal. That left his 9 p.m. slot, often the network’s best in terms of ratings, open.

Wallace was the first Fox News personality to moderate a presidential debate, doing it in 2016 and 2020. The debate he moderated last year drew much scorn from conservatives as Wallace frequently cut off then-President Donald Trump as he interrupted Democratic challenger Joe Biden to contest a point.

Trump at one point objected to a Wallace question on healthcare policy, saying, “I guess I’m debating you not him (Biden). But that’s okay. I’m not surprised.”

In CNN’s announcement, Wallace said, “I look forward to the new freedom and flexibility streaming affords in interviewing major figures across the news landscape — and finding new ways to tell stories.”

CNN said more details about Wallace’s new role will be forthcoming.

With the recent exit of 2 “Never-Trumper” Republican Pundits, Donna Brazile, and now, Chris Wallace, it appears that , just maybe Fox News is attempting to clean up its act a little bit following the fallout of their coverage of the 2020 Presidential Election.

I must admit, the way they program their day is pretty crafty.

They have the congenial hosts of “Fox and Friends” and “America’s Newsroom”, then they have the very competent Harris Faulkner, followed by the women’s panel discussion “Outnumbered”.

Their more “Moderate” Hosts, including Neil Cavuto are seen in the afternoon, followed by Conservative Pundits Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham. Shannon Bream hosts a News Hour to end their day.

Fox News became the powerhouse that it is because it chose to deliver the news in a manner which was different from both the Broadcast and Cable News Channels, who had become the Vanguard for the Democratic Party decades ago, delivering news from a decidedly Liberal POV.

For the last few years, with Vichy Republican Paul Ryan joining their Board of Directors and the Murdoch Sons and their Liberal Wives taking over for Rupert Murdoch, Fox News had begun to hire more Liberal Pundits and had heartily embraced both the “Never-Trumper” Vichy Republicans and the Democrat Elite.

A pivot which become all too obvious when they called the state of Arizona for Joe Biden way too early on the night of the 2020 presidential Election

This led to the rise of new Conservative-leaning News Stations like Newsmax and OANN.

Now, with these personnel changes, it appears that Fox News may have realized which side their bread is buttered on.

We’ll see.

Trump’s Thanksgiving Message: “We Will Be Great Again!”…Is He Running??!!

Trump 2024

FoxNews.com reports that

Former President Donald Trump issued a Thanksgiving message on Thursday that hinted at a possible 2024 presidential run.

“A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again—and we will all do it together,” the former Republican president said in the statement, which was shared on Twitter by his spokeswoman, Liz Harrington.

The statement played off Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” fueling speculation that he is planning a political comeback. Trump told Fox News earlier this month that he will “probably” wait until after the 2022 midterm elections to formally announce whether he will run again in 2024.

“I am certainly thinking about it and we’ll see,” Trump said. “I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and probably will announce that after the midterms.”

I hope and pray that “The Boss” will run again.

Trump was and IS right…about EVERYTHING.

I have to tell y’all…it was and is always great to watch the 45th President of the United States of America do what he does best: communicate directly with average Americans at his rallies.

Talk about a breath of fresh air,

I will take the brash honesty and “mean Tweets” of Donald J. Trump over the anti-American Policies, ineptitude, and prevarications of Dementia Joe and Heels Up Harris any day of the week.

Trump LOVES America and her people, instead of viewing us all as racist, misogynist, xenophobes…the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

Just like Trump did, with his refusal early in his first Presidential campaign to “act more presidential”, he is still taking his message directly to the American People.

You see, Gentle Readers, Trump has always been a “people person”.

That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox News, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.

As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.

“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.

He knew that the only way to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

Just as President Trump did when he went on a “Thank You” Tour after being elected in 2016 and his use of Twitter to speak directly to the American People.

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Bypassing the borders to communication, historically determined by both political parties and the Main Stream Media, is a concept which I first witnessed being used by a Presidential Candidate in the 1980 Presidential Election, the legendary Ronald Wilson Reagan.

While I am not comparing the two, I am noting that this strategy has proved effective for both men.

As America witnessed last night, Trump continues to strike a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

The reason being, President Trump kept his promises.

He does not talk down to us while disparaging our Sovereign Nation, as Sleepy Joe Biden, “Dr.” Jill Biden, and Kamala Harris do..

Trump talks to us in a plain-spoken, clearly understood way, a style which is in stark contrast to a Far Left Democrat party full of professional politicians, whose only interest is the totalitarian retention of power in Washington, D.C., at whatever the cost.

Even now, when he holds one of his rallies, the Former President of the United States of America makes Americans average Americans, feel good about ourselves and the future of our Sovereign Nation

And, gentle readers, to see and hear a Former, and possibly Future American President who genuinely loves this country and her people and who was willing to give up his “lifestyle of the rich and famous” in order to secure a safe and prosperous future for American Citizens is indeed a “radical change” from what this country is experiencing coming out of the Oval Office now.

P.S. Trump/DeSantis 2024

Senate Votes in a Short Term Extension of the Debt Ceiling as McConnell and Vichy Republicans Give Dems Their Way…Again

59945b35f1a850c22a8b5192

FoxNews.com reports that

Senators voted to approve a short-term increase to the federal debt ceiling on Thursday night, ending a weekslong standoff on Capitol Hill and likely averting a default that could have triggered a recession.

Senate Democrats passed the $480 billion increase by a simple majority vote of 50-48. The vote on the final measure occurred after 11 GOP lawmakers joined Democrats in a vote to invoke cloture, clearing the 60-vote filibuster threshold.

The 11 Republicans who voted to allow the measure to proceed were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Minority Whip John Thune, John Cornyn, Lisa Murkowski, Shelley Moore Capito, Richard Shelby, Rob Portman, Susan Collins, John Barrasso, Mike Rounds and Roy Blunt.

The bill will now proceed to the House, where lawmakers could consider it by as early as next week. The $480 billion increase is enough to fund the government through at least early December.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and other business leaders had warned of a potential economic catastrophe if Congress did not raise the debt ceiling by Oct. 18 when the U.S. federal government would run out of cash to cover its obligations.

Republicans blocked multiple attempts to raise the debt ceiling in recent days, with GOP leaders arguing the Democrats should use the budget reconciliation process to suspend the borrowing limit without their help. But as the default deadline approached, McConnell offered to drop GOP opposition if Democrats raised the debt limit by a fixed dollar amount, buying Schumer and his allies more time to find a longer-term solution.

Democrats claimed victory after McConnell’s offer went public, with some claiming he had “caved” to political pressure. Some GOP lawmakers accused McConnell of giving up his leverage and capitulating to Democratic demands.

Last night, as I was driving home from work, I was listening to “Hannity” on Sirius XM Channel 114.

Sen. Lindsey Graham was on with Sean, and you could tell that he was embarrassed by McConnell’s spineless actions, even though he was trying to maintain the “good fellow well met” B.S. that the Republican Elite are famous for.

Hannity was not buying it and told Graham so.

Hannity said that the Republicans are acting just like they did before Trump came along.

He was right.

The professional politicians on both sides of the aisle up on Capitol Hill live in a bubble, totally and purposely oblivious from the wants and needs of the American Voters who gave them their cushy jobs.

When Donald J. Trump came down that golden escalator, along with his beautiful wife Melania, a loud thunderclap could be heard emanating from Capitol Hill and Democrat and Republican Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

That sound was the sound of the sphincters of all the “Keepers of the Washington Status Quo” slamming shut in unison.

You see, boys and girls, the Vichy Republicans in Washington had made a lot of money being “buds” (i.e. servants) with the Democrats.

Of course, they never won Presidential Elections, but, why should they care?

They were getting filthy rich from all of the stock tips and other perks which came from “reaching across the aisle”.

They knew that Trump was going to change all of that.

He was not coming to Washington to make money. In fact, he was not even going to take a salary.

He could not be bought.

And, by the way, that is just one of the reasons that Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the Never Trumpers among the Republican Elite hate our Former President so much.

He refused to take their money and play their games.

He would rather hold a MAGA Rally and speak directly to thousands of average Americans, that to attend some political soiree full of the Washington Elite.

As shown by the polls which are showing that Trump is not only leading other prospective Republican candidates but also crushing Biden in a possible 2024 Presidential Race, the American People have had enough of the tone-deaf spineless Vichy Republicans and have definitely had enough of #DementiaJoe.

They want someone who will listen to and stand up for them.

Hence, the results of all of the polls on this subject.

That is why Sen. Mitch McConnell was so upset after Trump was acquitted in the last Shampeachment.

The Republican Elite know that these polls are true.

And, they are afraid of the “Deplorables” (me and you).

And, after yesterday’s spineless move, they have a right to be.

Until He Comes,

Kinzinger Compares Republican Party to the Titanic for Upcoming Vote to Take Leadership Position Away From Vichy Republican Liz Cheney

TheHill.com reports that

GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) on Sunday compared the Republican Party to the Titanic amid an internal battle over Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and the push to oust her from her leadership position.

When asked about the intraparty conflict by host John Dickerson on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Kinzinger said the GOP is “in the middle of this slow sink.”

“Right now, it’s basically the Titanic. We’re like, you know, in the middle of this slow sink. We have a band playing on the deck telling everybody it’s fine. And meanwhile, as I’ve said, you know, Donald Trump’s running around trying to find women’s clothing and get on the first lifeboat,” Kinzger said.

“And I think there’s a few of us that are just saying, ‘Guys, this is not good,’ not just for the future of the party, but this is not good for the future of this country,” he added.

Kinzinger also zeroed in on House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) comments regarding former President Trump’s role in the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, adding that Cheney has been consistent.

“Liz Cheney is saying exactly what Kevin McCarthy said the day of the insurrection. She’s just consistently been saying it. And a few weeks later, Kevin McCarthy changed to attacking other people,” Kinzinger said.

He added that the Republican Party needs to have “an internal look and a full accounting as to what led to Jan. 6.”

Kinzinger, one of the 10 GOP House members to vote to impeach Trump on a charge of inciting an insurrection, voiced his support last week for Cheney, who also voted to impeach Trump in January.

The ignorance of the Never-Trumper Vichy Republicans continues to both amaze me and make me sick to my stomach.

What sort of bubble-living arrogance does one have to possess to believe that your Political Party would be better off to remain servants to the Opposition Party than to take back the Presidency and both Houses of Congress by giving the American People the common sense leadership that they want out of Washington?

According to a Suffolk University-USA Today Poll taken in February, Republicans would leave the GOP to follow former President Donald Trump to a third party, by a near 2-to-1 margin.

They want someone who will listen to and stand up for them.

That is why Sen. Mitch McConnell was so upset after Trump was acquitted in the last Shampeachment.

Vichy Republican Liz Cheney Writes Op Ed for WaPo Urging Republicans to “Steer Away From the Dangerous and Anti-Democratic Trump Cult of Personality”

Image

Liz Cheney is a warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership. We want leaders who believe in the Make America Great Again movement, and prioritize the values of America First. Elise Stefanik is a far superior choice, and she has my COMPLETE and TOTAL endorsement for GOP Conference Chair. Elise is a tough and smart communicator! – From the Desk of Donald J. Trump, 5/5/21

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) wrote that the Republican Party is at a “turning point” and must decide “whether we will join Trump’s crusade to delegitimize and undo the legal outcome of the 2020 election, with all the consequences that might have.”

Cheney offered her commentary in an op-ed for the Washington Post, published Wednesday.

“We Republicans need to stand for genuinely conservative principles, and steer away from the dangerous and anti-democratic Trump cult of personality,” Cheney wrote.

With her House leadership role as GOP conference chair in jeopardy, Cheney writes that Trump’s language about the 2020 election “provoked violence on January 6.” Trump, who was banned from social media platforms, recently launched his own method of communicating with his supporters. There, he wrote, “the Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!”

“While embracing or ignoring Trump’s statements might seem attractive to some for fundraising and political purposes, that approach will do profound long-term damage to our party and our country,” Cheney wrote. “Trump has never expressed remorse or regret for the attack of Jan. 6 and now suggests that our elections, and our legal and constitutional system, cannot be trusted to do the will of the people.”

This is immensely harmful, especially as we now compete on the world stage against Communist China and its claims that democracy is a failed system,” she continued.

Cheney also addressed recent violence from groups such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa, but noted those are a “different problem with a different solution.”

This woman has lost her RINO mind.

Donald J. Trump did more in three years to enrich the pocketbooks of America’s Middle Class and to raise the employment levels of Black and Hispanic Americans than any American President before him.

The reason that Donald J. Trump remains the overwhelming choice of Republicans to run in the 2024 Presidential Election is because he actually has a spine.

He is unafraid to place American and Americans First.

He is not answerable to any lobbyist or any other country.

He is also NOT responsible for what happened on January 6th. It was preplanned before he ever gave his speech that day.

And before everything is said and done, it believe that the fact that Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi were in on the “insurrection in order to damage Trump.

We still do not know the name of the officer who shot and killed unarmed Ashli Babbitt.

Liz Cheney is a nothing but a Democrat but-kissing Warhawk Swamp Creature who lives is the Washington D.C. Country Club along with the other RINOs.

Like the rest of the Vichy Republicans, Liz Cheney thinks more of her “colleagues across the aisle” than she does of actual Conservative Republicans, both in Congress and here in America’s Heartland, where we cast our 2016 Vote for Donald J. Trump.

Vichy Republicans, like Liz Cheney, need to be purged from the Republican Party in 2022 and again in 2024, before their spineless acquiescence allows the Democrats to turn America into just another Marxist Nation.

Boehner Goes on Book Tour, Attacks Cruz in Book and on Tour…Cruz Verbally Eviscerates Cryin’ John in Response

Image

“Please don’t cry.” – Sen. Ted Cruz to Former Speaker of the House John Boehner

FoxNews.com reports that

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz doubled down on his response to former House Speaker John Boehner after he told the Texas Republican to “go f**k yourself” in a leaked audio recording.

“I think he was probably recording at nine or ten in the morning so obviously he had too much wine that day already,” Cruz told the Daily Caller on Saturday. “This guy is a little unhinged.”

Cruz on Friday mockingly tweeted that he wears Boehner’s “drunken, bloviated scorn” proudly alongside a clip from an upcoming CBS News interview with Boehner in which he calls Cruz a “jerk” and accuses him of “making a lot of noise” but not being especially productive in Congress.

“The Swamp is unhappy,” Cruz tweeted. “I wear with pride his drunken, bloviated scorn. Please don’t cry,” the lawmaker joked, referencing Boehner’s reputation for appearing publicly emotional at various points throughout his career.

The ex-speaker has taken several shots at Cruz, including while recording his audiobook when he reportedly told Cruz to “f—” himself in several off-script moments.

In the CBS interview, Boehner says he doesn’t like to “beat anyone up” but he’d make an exception for Cruz.

“Perfect symbol, you know, of getting elected, making a lot of noise, draw a lot of attention to yourself, raise a lot of money, which means you’re gonna go make more noise, raise more money,” Boehner told CBS of how he views Cruz’s political career.

Boehner, an Ohio Republican who served as House speaker from 2011-2015, has been making the interview rounds promoting his book, “On The House: A Washington Memoir,” which comes out next week. Boehner represented Ohio’s 8th Congressional District from 1991-2015.

Cruz made a joke of it at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Florida in February, saying, “John Boehner made some news. He suggested that I do something that was anatomically impossible. To which my response was, ‘Who’s John Boehner?'” according to The Hill.

Cruz on Saturday noted that the “lead insult on the back on the back of the book is a different insult he directed at me.”

He seems to have a bit of an obsession,” Cruz said.

Asked whether he planned to write a book about Boehner in response, Cruz said plainly, “I don’t anticipate writing a fortune cookie about him.

Here is some information you may not have known about the Former Speaker of the House, courtesy of sourcewatch.org, from a blog I wrote in March of 2013

In 1981 Boehner served on the board of trustees of Union Township, Butler County, Ohio. In 1984, he served as president of the township board of trustees.

Boehner served as a Ohio state representative from 1985 to 1990. In 1990, when U.S. Rep. Donald “Buz” Lukens (R-Ohio) was caught in a sex scandal involving a minor, Boehner challenged Lukens in the Republican primary and defeated the incumbent, while also upsetting the district’s former representative, Tom Kindness, who Boehner declared had abandoned his district to become a lobbyist. Boehner went on to victory in the 1990 general election and began serving in the U.S. House of Representatives the 102nd Congress.

He was a member of the Gang of Seven, a group of seven freshmen Republicans who assailed the Democratic leadership with accusations of corruption and arrogance over the misuse of the House Bank. According to a 1992 San Francisco Chronicle article the Gang “set the match to the bank scandal that has now engulfed the House, blackened its leadership and sparked a ‘spontaneous political combustion’ that many analysts say will fuel a record turnover in Congress.” (San Francisco Chronicle, 3/30/02)

Boehner told the Cleveland Plain Dealer: “I came as a reformer. But when people in charge don’t want to reform – the only way…is revolution.” (Cleveland Plain Dealer, 2/15/93)

The banking scandal involved 355 members, Democrats and Republicans, writing 8,331 overdrafts to the bank. The Gang pounced on the issue and forced the Democrats into a corner and eventually led to the tidal wave Republican Revolution of 1994.

Boehner came to Congress as one of the most pro-business, anti-government members in 1990. He advocated a flat tax and abolition of whole government agencies including the Department of Education and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Boehner quickly rose to the fourth highest position in the Republican leadership – Republican Conference Chairman – after chairing Newt Gingrich’s 1994 run for the Minority Leader post.

Boehner was on of the principal architects of the Contract With America. He also championed the 1996 Freedom to Farm Act.

When Newt Gingrich resigned his post as Speaker in the wake of the GOPs loss of seats in the 1998 election Boehner’s leadership post was challenged by J.C. Watts, the only black Republican congressman. Boehner lost to Watts 121-93.

…Boehner was elected House Majority Leader on February 2, 2006, following Tom DeLay’s departure because of a criminal indictment.

…According to the Washington Post “From illegal immigration to sanctions on China to an overhaul of the pension system, Boehner, as chairman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, took ardently pro-business positions that were contrary to those of many in his party. Religious conservatives — examining his voting record — see him as a policymaker driven by small-government economic concerns, not theirs….. [He opposes] a tough illegal immigration bill that passed in December [2005] with overwhelming Republican support over Boehner’s opposition. One provision in the bill would mandate that every business verify the legality of every employee through the federal terrorism watch list and a database of Social Security numbers. For the bill’s authors, the measure is central to choking off illegal immigrants’ employment opportunities. To business groups and Boehner, it is unworkable.” Feb 12, 2006

The professional politicians on both sides of the aisle up on Capitol Hill live in a bubble, totally and purposely oblivious from the wants and needs of the American Voters who gave them their cushy jobs.

Moderate Republicans , like Cryin’ John Boehner, have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies, friends, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

And, by the way, that is just one of the reasons that Cryin’ John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the Never-Trumpers among the Republican Elite hate our Former President so much.

He refused to take their money and play their games.

He would rather hold a MAGA Rally and speak directly to thousands of average Americans, that to attend some political soiree full of the Washington Elite.

Cruz is right, Boehner is a long-time member of the Washington Political Elite, better known as The Swamp.

All of those Republicans, who are still on Capitol Hill, and who worked against Former President Trump during his tenure in office and who still stand against him to this day, needed to be voted out of office in the 2020 Midterm Elections.

Perhaps then, American Voters will have placed in office Republican Representatives and Senators who actually want to work for and serve US…instead of themselves.

Until He Comes,

Trump Delivers Big at CPAC 2021: “We Have the Republican Party”

Image

Newsmax.com reports that

Putting to rest talk of a third party to break off from the GOP, former President Donald Trump said there will be only the Republican Party united, all the way.

“I want you to know that I’m going to continue to fight right by your side,” Trump said Sunday as the headliner at the American Conservative Union Conference on Sunday in Orlando, Florida. “We will do what we’ve done right from the beginning, which is to win.

“We’re not starting new parties. You know, they kept saying, ‘he’s going to start a brand new party.’ We have the Republican party. It’s going to unite and be stronger than ever before. I am not starting a new party. That was fake news. Fake news.”

Trump vowed at CPAC the party will fight to defeat “radical Democrats” in future elections.

“Brave Republicans in this room will be at the heart of the effort to oppose the radical Democrats, the fake news media, and their toxic cancel culture: Something new to our ears – cancel culture,” Trump said early in his speech.

“No, that would be brilliant: Let’s start a new party; let’s divide our vote so that you could never win. No we’re not interested in that.”

The speech to CPAC was Trump’s first public appearance since he left office 39 days ago. Since then, he’s kept an uncharacteristically low profile, hampered in large part because he is banned from Twitter and Facebook in the wake of the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol that led to his impeachment and subsequent acquittal in the Senate.

In emailed statements and a handful of interviews to friendly outlets, he’s blasted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, eulogized talk show host Rush Limbaugh and made unfounded allegations of election fraud — all while avoiding questions about his future in the party.

His remarks ratified the consensus of the conference that this is not a conservative movement wallowing in its loss to Democrat Joe Biden as much as it’s a government-in-waiting, counting down the three years and 11 months for Trump to “Make America Great Again” again.

In a straw poll, 97% of attendees approved of his leadership of the party, 70% want him to run again and 55% said he was their preferred candidate in 2024. (The other top contenders were Trump loyalists: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, followed by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and Donald Trump Jr.)

Trump’s rousing reception at the most important conservative gathering on the calendar highlights just how much Trump has transformed the movement in just five years.

In 2016, Trump abruptly canceled his appearance at the event amid plans for a walkout from conservatives who questioned his commitment to the cause and demands that he answer questions from a moderator like the other candidates.

On Sunday, he was the closer of a three-day festival of Trump-flavored conservatism that bore his undeniable imprint.

The conference included at least seven panels credulously discussing Trump’s claims of a stolen 2020 election despite dozens of court rulings finding otherwise.

Major figures from the Trump cabinet — at least, those still loyal to the former president — were given speaking slots: Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell and Budget Director Russ Vought.

Prominent conservatives who have left Trump’s orbit were nowhere to be found, including McConnell and his wife, former Trump Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney. Even Trump’s old running mate, former Vice President Mike Pence, declined an invitation.

For those of you who missed it, you missed a stemwinder of a speech.

Trump looked well and rested and ready to faced the challenges which lay ahead.

Trump, as he warned during yesterday’s speech, will support Republican Candidates who will be running in the Midterm Elections in 2022 against those Vichy Republicans who recently voted to impeach him at the conclusion of Shampeachment 2.

So, to all of my fellow amateur political pundits:

Yes, boys and girls. Trump is going to be a Kingmaker.

And, then, Trump will, once again, run for the office of President of the United States of America in 2024.

And, as of today, there is no one on either side who will be able to beat him.

Why?

Just as Trump did, with his refusal early in his first Presidential Campaign to “act more presidential”, he continues to take his message directly to the American People.

Trump has always been a “people person”.

He knew that the only way to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

Just as President Trump did when he went on a “Thank You” Tour and then his “MAGA Rallies”, Trump showed himself to be “A Man of the People”.

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Bypassing the borders to communication, historically determined by both political parties and the Main Stream Media, is a concept which I first witnessed being used by a Presidential Candidate in the 1980 Presidential Election, the before-mentioned Ronald Wilson Reagan.

While I am not comparing the two, I am noting that this strategy has proved effective for both men.

As the polls show, Trump continues to strike a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Democrat Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

He does not talk down to us while disparaging our Sovereign Nation, as the Democrats did in their National Covention and, quite frankly, do every day.

Trump talks to us in a plain-spoken, clearly understood way, a style which is in stark contrast to an opposition party full of professional politicians, whose only interest is the regaining of power in Washington, D.C., at whatever the cost.

When he speaks, Donald J. Trump makes average Americans feel good about themselves and their role in determining the future of our country.

They hear words of hope and encouragement from a man who genuinely LOVES America and her people, instead of viewing us all as racist, misogynist, xenophobes…the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

And, that, fellow Americans, is why President Trump will be elected President once again in 2024.

Until He Comes,

Another Poll Shows That a Majority of Republicans Would Follow Trump to Form a New Party…While the Republican Elite Stay Clueless

See the source image

Newsmax.com reports that

Former President Donald Trump does not just lead the Republican Party still, he ostensibly owns it, according to the latest Suffolk University-USA Today poll released Sunday.

By a near 2-to-1 margin, Republicans would leave the GOP to follow former President Donald Trump to a third party.

“We feel like Republicans don’t fight enough for us, and we all see Donald Trump fighting for us as hard as he can, every single day,” Brandon Keidl, 27, Republican small-business owner from Milwaukee told USA Today after being polled. “But then you have establishment Republicans who just agree with establishment Democrats and everything, and they don’t ever push back.”

The poll found 46% of Republicans would follow Trump to a new party, compared to just 26% that would stay with the GOP and remainder undecided. A majority of Trump voters (54%) are more loyal to the candidate than the party (34%).

Just 19% believed Republicans should turn away from Trump and remain loyal to establishment Republicans.

There is also “a seismic shift in the landscape of trusted news sources for conservatives in the country,” according to Suffolk University Political Research Center Director David Paleologos.

Fox News had polled at 58% of their most trusted news source in October 2016, but that figure dropped to just 34%. Newsmax is now most trusted by 17%, followed by American News (OANN) at 9%.

The Suffolk-USA Today poll surveyed 1,000 Trump voters last Monday through Friday with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

The results of the above poll confirms what I have been saying for a long time now.

He refused to take their money and play their games.

He would rather hold a MAGA Rally and speak directly to thousands of average Americans, that to attend some political soiree full of the Washington Elite.

As shown by the above polls and others which have had similar results, the American People have had enough of the tone-deaf spineless Vichy Republicans.

Trump Replies After McConnell Blames Him for Capitol Hill Riot After Acquittal: “Mitch is a Dour, Sullen, and Unsmiling Political Hack”

Image

Newsmax.com reports that

In the most caustic sign yet of deepening GOP divisions, former President Donald Trump blistered Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., as a “political hack” on Tuesday, days after the Senate’s top Republican denounced him as the inciter of U.S. Capitol attack.

“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm,” Trump said in a statement released by his political action committee.

He went on to write: “Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack, and if Republican Senators are going to stay with him, they will not win again.”

A McConnell spokesperson did not immediately return requests for comment.

The deeply personal attack follows McConnell’s speech over over the weekend saying Trump was responsible for the deadly insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6. But McConnell said that only after he joined other Republicans in voting against the former president’s conviction during a Senate impeachment trial that accused Trump of inciting the mob.

“There’s no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day,” McConnell said Saturday, after Trump, the only president to be impeached twice, was acquitted on a 57-43 vote. “The people who stormed this building believed they were acting on the wishes and instructions of their president.”

McConnell said he voted to acquit Trump because the Senate has no jurisdiction over an ex-president — even though he had rejected a push from Democrats to start the trial when Trump was still in office. The House impeached Trump a week before he left office.

McConnell had remained loyal to Trump during nearly all of his four years in office, when the pair were the two most powerful members of the Republican Party. But, after Trump spent months making claims election fraud cost him the November election against Democrat Joe Biden, McConnell said overturning the vote because of objections from the losing side would see American democracy enter “a death spiral.”

Republican officials in battleground states including Georgia and Arizona have also said the election was fair. Trump’s accusations of election fraud were rejected by judges at all levels of the judiciary, including those appointed by Trump himself.

The former president’s statement promises to further fuel an intraparty struggle.

Some, like the seven Republican senators who voted to convict Trump during the second impeachment trial, have sought to distance the party from the former president. But others have remained loyal in hopes of not alienating Trump supporters during future elections.

In his statement, Trump criticized McConnell for failing to do more to back his unfounded claims of election fraud. He also said McConnell “begged” for his endorsement in the senator’s home state of Kentucky while running for reelection last year — and suggested he would work to defeat McConnell and his Republican allies, saying he planned to “back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great.”

“This is a big moment for our country,” Trump wrote, “and we cannot let it pass by using third rate ‘leaders’ to dictate our future.”

Here is the hard truth of the above article: Average Americans had been holding their noses while voting for the Republican party for some time.

That is, until Donald J. Trump came along.

The Presidential Campaign of Donald J. Trump was something different that your average Republican’s campaign for President.

It was a Populist Movement.

Dictionary.com defines “populism” as

1. the political philosophy of the People’s party.
2. (lowercase) any of various, often antiestablishment or anti-intellectual political movements or philosophies that offer unorthodox solutions or policies and appeal to the common person rather than according with traditional party or partisan ideologies.
3. (lowercase) grass-roots democracy; working-class activism; egalitarianism.
4. (lowercase) representation or extolling of the common person, the working class, the underdog, etc.:populism in the arts.

That word first reappeared in the American Lexicon, when Sarah Palin almost dragged John McCain’s RINO Rear across the Finish Line, in the Presidential Election of 2008.

The Grassroots Movement, which began back then, led us to a seminal moment in American Politics.

The American People spoke in 2016 and are still speaking, loud and clear.

Donald J. Trump was a “Citizen Statesman”, such as our Founding Fathers envisioned.

A Presidential Candidate has to build a coalition, in order to win the Presidency.

Ronald Reagan, and, again, I am not comparing Trump to Reagan, figured out in 1980, that, in order to win the presidency, you had to bypass the Republican Establishment and go directly to the American People.

That is exactly what Donald J. Trump did.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, broke that fact down for us during his program on February 10, 2016…

This is what the Republican Party’s been telling us they need to win.  I’ve had ’em come to my office.  I’ve told you.  I’ve had Rand Paul here, Mitt Romney’s here.  One thing they’ve all said in common is that Republican Party can’t win with Republican votes alone anymore.  We have to branch out, we have to reach out.  This is what they were telling me to prepare me for some of the campaign tactics that I was gonna see. That they were gonna have to reach out and immigration was one of the ways of reaching out, supporting amnesty. Well, all along Trump has built that coalition the Republican Party claims to want and they’re out there badgering it and bashing it.  It’s exactly what they claim to want.  They could have had it.  The Republican Party could have had the Trump coalition.  They could have had it at health care.  A majority of Americans opposed Obamacare from the get-go.  The Republican Party could have seriously attempted to form an alliance with the Tea Party and the anti-Obamacare people and been a dominant majority party on that issue alone.  And then on subsequent issues to come down the pike the Republican Party could have formed an alliance with majorities in other areas of opposition, and they didn’t.

Donald Trump has the exact coalition the Republican Party, to a man, has told me they need to win, that they need to thrive.  And now they’re reduced to bashing it by virtue of bashing Trump.  And now they’re reduced to bashing it by virtue of bashing Cruz.  The two people who are showing the Republican Party all they had to do all these past seven years, but they didn’t.  They purposely, strategically, tactically refused to push back, refused to make a spectacle of stopping Obama, and they have themselves to blame for this predicament.

People are not gonna donate and donate and vote and vote and hear the right things during campaigns, the promises to stop Obama, to oppose Obamacare, to seriously make an effort to repeal it.  Even if they don’t have the votes to override a veto, the effort, all it would have taken was the effort, all it would have taken was put the onus on Obama, make Obama illustrate that all this is his fingerprints.  No such strategy was ever seen.
As I gave previously written, Trump is riding the crest of an ever-growing anger over the inaction of Professional Politicians, whom, after being voted into National Office by their constituents back home, have literally bitten the hand that feeds them, tossing Ma and Pa Kettle aside for Big Money Donors and the Political Prestige of “reaching across the aisle”, i.e.. “selling out”.

Now, in 2021, members of that same political party, including its Political Leader, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, seem determined to commit political seppuku by shunning Former President Donald J. Trump.

Regarding those who continue to insist that they are on the side of average Americans and are working at banishing Trump “for the good of the Republican Party”…

Former President Trump showed y’all how to win and a lot of you “Establishment Republicans” furthered your political career by riding his coat tails to positions of power on Capitol Hill.

Y’all want to go back to your political strategy of of reaching across the aisle (i.e. sucking up) to the Democrats and allowing them to pass whatever cockamamie laws they want to while they raises our taxes and the amount we pay for gas to fill up our cars so that we can go to work and provide for our families.

That is how we got stuck with Former President Barack Hussein Obama, aka “Petulant President Pantywaist”.

If the Republican Establishment keeps mooning average Americans and showcasing their Spines of Jello, instead of supporting the wishes of those who sent them to Capitol Hill, average Americans are liable to show them what they think of them by starting a new party behind Donald J. Trump.

However, I am beginning to believe that the Vichy Republicans. for all of their bluster, could care less.

As it has  proven, without a doubt in the past, the Republican Establishment’s arrogance will be their undoing.

After all…

Actions (and Inactions) have consequences.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, remains a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who became a wonderful public servant.

Does Donald J. Trump need to “tone it down”, in terms of his fight against those who would preserve the Washingtonian Status Quo?

Only if he wants to sound like a Professional Politician.

And, we Americans have had our fill of them.

Until He Comes,

KJ
