Of Body-Slamming Reporters and Acosta’s Vulgar Tweet

There is no news media. There’s simply a bunch of people on television and in newspapers who are ranking members of the Democrat Party. – Rush Limbaugh

TheHill.com reports that

President Trump said Friday he does not regret praising a Republican congressman who assaulted a reporter.
“No, no. Not at all,” Trump responded when asked if he regretted his comments at a campaign rally the previous night.
Trump’s praise of Rep. Greg Gianforte came amid an international outcry over the alleged killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The president said Friday that Gianforte’s assault of a reporter last year was in “a different world” and “a different league” than what happened to Khashoggi, a dissident journalist who was allegedly murdered by a team of Saudi agents inside his country’s consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2.
The president on Thursday night called the Montana congressman, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault last year for body-slamming Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs, “a great guy” and said his rally in the Big Sky State was a “tremendous success.”
“That was a tremendous success last night in Montana and Greg is a tremendous person and he’s a tough cookie, but I’ll stay with that,” Trump said Friday.
The president triggered another controversy over his attitudes toward the news media when he brought up the Gianforte assault in front of a raucous crowd of supporters at the rally.
“I heard that he had body-slammed a reporter,” Trump said. “I said, ‘Oh, this is terrible, he’s going to lose the election.’ But then I said, ‘Well, wait a minute, I know Montana pretty well, I think it might help him,’ and it did.”
The comments provoked laughter from rally-goers and condemnation from news media organizations.
“All Americans should recoil from the president’s praise for a violent assault on a reporter doing his Constitutionally protected job. This amounts to the celebration of a crime by someone sworn to uphold our laws and an attack on the First Amendment by someone who has solemnly pledged to defend it,” said Olivier Knox, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association.

Well, gosh, Mr. Knox…

How do you feel about this?

CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta sent a direct message to a Twitter follower that read “F— you” after being mocked on the social media platform on Thursday night.

Direct messages can only be seen by the sender and receiver, but Justin Caporale, a former aide to first lady Melania Trump, made Acosta’s message public by tweeting it to his own followers.

The response came after Caporale jokingly responded to an Acosta tweet reporting on a rally in Montana featuring President Trump on Thursday.

“Tonight the Trump campaign/WH turned up the music so loud the press risers were vibrating,” wrote Acosta. “Nearly impossible to do live TV. I suppose the WH loves those kinds of shenanigans. But I wonder if it’s a security concern for [United States Secret Service] or local law enforcement. They can’t hear either.”

The double standard by which the Main Stream Media judges what is appropriate and inappropriate never ceases to boggle the mind.

Like the political party whom they have sworn their allegiance to, the Far Left Democrats, the MSM firmly believes that it is free to talk to non-Liberals, from the President on down, anyway they want to, including getting up in our faces, or sending obscene tweets out about us.

“Freedom of the Press” is one thing…being an out-of-control Far Left Democrat moral arbitrator is another.

The arrogance of the Liberal Main Stream Media grew exponentially during the 8 long years of the reign of King Barack The First.

Their egos were fed by the fact that they were given favored status during the Obama Administration because they were fellow travelers on the road to a “Socialist Paradise”.

They fully expected to continue to enjoy that favored status, as they were 100% certain that Hillary Clinton was the heir apparent who would continue the march toward “Democratic Socialism” that Obama began.

However, a funny thing happen on the Road to a Socialist Paradise.

Average Americans, living between the coasts, elected a Capitalist as the 45th President of the United States of America, a decision which has proven economically beneficial to all of us here in the Heartland, but not beneficial at all for the Main Stream Media.

One year and nine and one-half months into the enormously successful presidency of Donald J. Trump, the Main Steam Media are in the throes of a psychosis brought on by desperation.

Everything that they have tried to throw at President Trump to end his presidency on behalf of their masters in the Democratic Party Hierarchy has failed miserably.

Remember Stormy Daniels?

Their enormous sense of self-righteousness, brought on by their massive Liberal egos, has prevented them from understanding the depth of disgust which average Americans feel toward them and their unrelenting attacks on President Trump, which mostly consist of Fake News Stories provided by “Unnamed Sources”.

Jim Acosta received a “Reality Check” that night in August at Trump’s Rally in Tampa, Florida.

And, Acosta has had a chip on his shoulder as regards the average Americans who attend Trump’s Rallies ever since.

Hence, his whining about how loud the music was the other night.

That’s fine.

As the Main Stream Media’s ratings continue to tank and Trump’s Popularity Poll Numbers continue to rise, in three weeks, average Americans will once again experience the glorious Schadenfreude of watching Liberal News Anchors and Political Pundits meltdown as a sea of red envelopes the continental United States of America as Republicans strengthen their presence in the House of Representatives and in the Senate.

And, there won’t be a darn thing that “the Smartest People in the Room” can do about it.

Oh, and Mr. Knox, I would have body slammed that jerk of a reporter, also.

…And, dropped the “People’s Elbow” on him, too.

Until He Comes,
