Trump Still in the Lead, Despite Both Political Parties’ and the Main Stream Media’s Best Efforts. Why?

Trump-n-CruzWell, the Republican Hopeful for that party’s Presidential Nomination, who, early on, was predicted to have flamed out by now, is still the torch-bearing front runner in the race.

And, all the pundits, both from the Mainstream Media and the Political Area, can’t, for the life of them, figure out why.

Fox News’ Howard Kurtz reports that

It hasn’t been a great few days for Donald Trump. And it doesn’t seem to matter.

The media refs are really savaging him after a couple of misstatements and missteps, even as they struggle to understand why he pays no penalty when they blow the whistle. What they don’t quite grasp is that their attacks only make him stronger.

This is not to let him off the hook for mistakes, just to recognize that Trump has completely rewritten the rule book, infuriating those who thought they enforced the rules. What’s more, some of the media attacks against the Republican front-runner are so virulent that they overshoot the mark, and possibly even backfire.

We have the New York Times editorial page accusing him of “racist lies.”

We have the Washington Post editorial page calling him a demagogue running a campaign of  “growing ugliness” and declaring: “The only way to beat a bully is to stand up to him.”

And it’s hard to imagine the Post running this column headline about almost anyone else: “Donald Trump’s Rally Carries Echo of Hitler’s Rise to Power.”

A Trump adviser tells me that the mainstream media, Republican elite and Washington establishment—lumping them all together—will do anything they can to take down his boss. And the people who like Trump, in this adviser’s view, instinctively believe the media don’t treat people fairly.

Trump isn’t exactly meticulous when it comes to fact-checking. No one has been able to confirm his recollection that he saw, on television, thousands of people in New Jersey cheering when the twin towers came down. But after the Washington Post’s fact-checker gave Trump’s claim four Pinnochios, he found a small measure of vindication in a 2001article in that very paper that said: “Law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.” A “number of people” is not thousands, but Trump proudly quoted the piece at a rally.

The mainstream media, as Trump’s camp sees it, don’t want to report that some people across the country were happy about the devastation of 9/11.

Trump also stumbled by retweeting some racial murder statistics that turned out to be bogus and wildly inaccurate. When Bill O’Reilly chided him for that, Trump said, “Am I going to check every statistic?”

The press has finally learned, after repeatedly being burned, not to seize upon controversial or questionable comments to predict Trump’s demise. So there is an anguished search for larger explanations: His supporters don’t care if he tells the truth, he symbolizes the modern-day GOP, and on and on.

This comes from all sides, with conservative commentators who fear he’s hijacked the party even harsher on Trump than liberal ones.

But here’s the thing: Trump projects strength, and part of that is not backing down, even when it’s obvious he has misspoken. In the wake of the Paris attacks, he’s going up in the polls, while Ben Carson is slipping. Trump leads nationally. He leads in Iowa, even with Ted Cruz surging. He has a huge lead in New Hampshire. A big lead in South Carolina. A huge lead in Florida. And that is driving the pundits crazy.

So let’s look at this latest media wave. Here’s that New York Times editorial: “America has just lived through another presidential campaign week dominated by Donald Trump’s racist lies…

“Mr. Trump has distinguished himself as fastest to dive to the bottom. If it’s a lie too vile to utter aloud, count on Mr. Trump to say it, often. It wins him airtime, and retweets through the roof.”

And here’s a NYT news story: “No one ever expected Mr. Trump to turn himself into the issues expert of the Republican presidential field. Yet the verbal shortcuts and salesmanlike stretches that he has relied on for months — generalities used to dodge questions, and questionable recollections — are tripping him up as the tenor of the campaign has grown more serious.”

Salon blames the press for letting Trump get away with untrue statements:

“The mainstream political media has such a pathological dedication to the notion of balance and ‘objectivity’ that it often finds itself at a complete loss when it comes to dealing with someone like Trump. But the kind of filth that he and others are putting out has long since moved past the debatable stage. There is an Islamophobic crisis building in this country.”

It’s not hard to imagine Washington Post columnist Chris Cillizza wringing his hands as he writes:

“In elections and campaigns past, there would have been a price to pay for The Donald’s complete flouting of fact. It would have hurt him politically to just say things that aren’t true.”

The reason, he says, is that “trust in the media — in both parties but especially among conservatives who comprise Trump’s base — is at an all-time low. So, anything that a member of the media calls a ‘fact’ is inherently viewed as fishy (at best) by the people backing Trump. The media lies, we all know that, so why wouldn’t they lie about this, too? All the mainstream media cares about is serving as the political correctness police, so if this did happen then of course they would work to cover it up, right?”

I think Cillizza nails it. And those of us in the media have no one to blame but ourselves. Donald Trump didn’t cause our slide in credibility, even as he feasts off it. And we’ll still be working on earning back trust long after this campaign has faded into history.

The Main Stream Media have become victims of their own sensationalism…used against them.

Why do I believe that Donald J. Trump is still the frontrunner among all the Republican Presidential Candidates?

This brash, unabashedly American, business entrepreneur and quintessential showman has dominated the media for the past several years.

The popularity of his reality program on NBC and the catch phrase that came leaping out from it, “You’re fired!”, spread across America like wildfire.

Now, his Presidential Campaign continues to do the same.

It is not just his flamboyance that has caught the eye of Americans.

The fact is, after almost two terms of an Administration taking the great country in the world on a scenic tour of the Highway to Hell, Donald Trump is the only Republican Candidate shouting, “Hit the brakes, you idiots!”

Trump’s straightforwardness has struck a chord in the hearts of average Americans, tired of the wussification of America, being so relentlessly pushed by both modern political parties.

This is what I don’t understand about the Republican Establishment:

They run around telling everybody how Conservative they are, when in reality, they actually hold the same beliefs as Liberal Democrats.

Ronald Reagan gave a famous stump speech about the fact that the Republican Party at one time, needed “bold colors, not pale pastels”.

From what I’m seeing out of a lot of the Republicans right now, they’re not even presenting Americans with pale pastels.

…Except for Donald Trump.

They are showing their color to be Liberal Blue, while they claim to be Conservative Red.

It is almost as if they believe that the Political Tsunami, which resulted in Republicans holding both Houses of Congress, came about because they made themselves look like Democrats.

They need to come down off of Capitol Hill every now and then.

And, visit Realityville.

Average Americans, like you and me, living from paycheck to paycheck in America’s Heartland, do not need another Democratic Party.

If we wanted to continue to put up with their Liberal Stupidity, we would have left all of them in office.

Instead, last November, we showed them the door.

If Jeb Bush and the rest of the Vichy Republicans actually believe that they will win over the Mexican vote, or the rest of the Hispanic Vote, if by then those who are now illegal are allowed to vote, in 2016, then I have two bridges over the Mississippi River at Memphis to sell them.

The overwhelming majority of average Americans want Conservatives whose blood runs red, not Liberal squishes, who have more in common with the Democrats in the Northeast Corridor, than they do with average Americans in the Heartland.

If the Republican establishment does not come to that realization very soon, they will go down to defeat again in 2016.

They will never achieve victory by trying to push the Jello of “Liberal Moderation” up a hill.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, is a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who wants to become a public servant.

Now, where did I hear that before?

Oh, yeah.

That’s the way the Founding Fathers envisioned our system of government, led by citizens, who served their term s as public servants…AND THEN WENT HOME.

But, I digress…

You know what tickles me the most about “The Donald”?

He reminds me of one of my favorite movie characters.

He actually has a backbone.

Just remember what ol’ Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol’ storm right square in the eye and he says, “Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it.” – Jack Burton, Truck Driver (Kurt Russell) “Big Trouble in Little China”

…and that, boys and girls, is a refreshing change.

The Republican Debate: Was the “Fix In”?

thQUXT2EGX

Alright, you old Sesame Street Viewers, sing along,

One of these things is not like the others,

One of these things, just “doesn’t belong”.

Last night, during the Prime Time Republican Presidential Candidate Debate, it seemed as if the Republican Establishment had called in a favor, as the only non-professional politician, “brash interloper” Donald J. Trump, was the focus of attacks from not only his fellow candidates, but the Fox News Moderators as well.

For example, courtesy of realclearpolitics.com

KELLY: Mr. Trump, one of the things people love about you is you speak your mind and you don’t use a politician’s filter. However that is not without its downsides, in particular when it comes to women. You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals. Your twitter account

TRUMP: Only Rosie O’Donnell.

KELLY: For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell.

TRUMP: I’m sure it was.

KELLY: Your twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’ looks. You once told a contest tent that it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound like the temperament of a man we should elect as president? And how do you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton, who is likely to be the Democratic nominee, that you are part of the war on women?

TRUMP: The big problem this country has is being politically correct. I’ve been challenged by so many people and I don’t frankly have time for total political correctness. And to be honest with you, this country doesn’t have time either. This country is in big trouble. We don’t win anymore. We lose to China, we lose to Mexico both in trade and at the border. We lose to everybody. Frankly what I say and oftentimes it’s fun, it’s kidding, we have a good time. What I say is what I say. And honestly, Megyn if you don’t like it, I’m sorry. I’ve been very nice to you although I could probably not be based on the way you have treated me, but I wouldn’t do that. But you know what? We, we need strength, we need energy, we need quickness and we need brain in this country to turn it around. That I can tell you right now.

The Republican Establishment just can not seem to figure out why Donald J. Trump is currently the frontrunner among all the Republican Presidential Candidates?

This brash, unabashedly American, business entrepreneur and quintessential showman has dominated the media for the past several years.

The popularity of his reality program on NBC and the catch phrase that came leaping out from it, “You’re fired!”, spread across America like wildfire.

Trump’s straightforwardness has struck a chord in the hearts of average Americans, tired of the wussification of America, being so relentlessly pushed by both modern political parties.

Last night, it was painfully obvious that “the fix was in” and, that the Republican Establishment is “concerned”, to the point of feigning embarrassment, over the words and actions of the famous entrepreneur.

This is what I don’t understand about the Republican Establishment.

Trump upsets the status quo.

The Establishment Republicans are showing their color to be Liberal Blue, while they claim to be Conservative Red.

It is almost as if they believe that the Political Tsunami, which resulted in Republicans holding both Houses of Congress, came about because they made themselves look like Democrats.

If Americans were enjoying the Washingtonian Status Quo, we would not have given the Republicans control of the House and Senate in the last two Mid-Term Elections.

If we wanted to continue to put up with their Liberal Stupidity, we would have left all of them in office.

Instead, last November, we showed the Democrats and, those , who were not doing their jobs, the door.

The Vichy (Establishment) Republicans need to come down off of Capitol Hill, every now and then.

And, visit Realityville.

Average Americans, like you and me, living from paycheck to paycheck in America’s Heartland, do not need another Democratic Party.

We know how to spend our hard-earned money, just fine, thank you.

And, we don’t want it spent selling the body parts of  babies slaughtered in the name of personal convenience.

Trump has found his popularity, whether it lasts of not, by saying the things that Americans are thinking and feeling.

Americans are fed up with Political Correctness and the professional politicians’ sacrifice of America’s Traditional Values, for the sake of political gain and political expediency.

The overwhelming majority of average Americans want Conservatives whose blood runs red, not Liberal squishes, who have more in common with the snooty Democrats in the Northeast Corridor, than they do with average Americans in the Heartland.

If the Republican establishment does not come to that realization very soon, they will go down to defeat again in 2016.

They will never achieve victory by trying to push the epitome of “Liberal Moderation”, known as Jeb Bush, down the throats of their Conservative Base.

American Conservatives, here in the Heartland, are not changing our time-honored American Faith and Values for a bunch of mountebanks who act as if they care about our opinions come Election-time and, then, ignoring us, until they seek re-election.

Even buying off Fox News, will not change that fact.

Please reference their Facebook Page, where they caught you-know-what, all night long, for their obvious duplicity.

In summation, the American people are tired of the anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both poltical parties.

Obama STILL Has No “Complete Strategy” to Combat “Jayvee Team”

th (10)The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant. I think there is a distinction between the capacity and reach of a bin Laden and a network that is actively planning major terrorist plots against the homeland versus jihadists who are engaged in various local power struggles and disputes, often sectarian – President Barack Hussein Obama, The New Yorker Magazine, January 2014

Fox News reports that

President Obama took heat Monday for admitting he doesn’t yet have a “complete strategy” in hand for training Iraqis to fight the Islamic State — months into the coordinated campaign to defeat the deadly terrorist network.

“When a finalized plan is presented to me by the Pentagon, then I will share it with the American people,” Obama said, adding, “We don’t yet have a complete strategy.”

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul said in a statement: “It is no surprise this administration does not have a ‘complete strategy’ for training Iraqis to fight ISIS. What is surprising is that the president admitted it.”

The president addressed the ISIS fight during a press conference on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Germany. He appeared to be speaking specifically to a new strategy for accelerating the training and equipping of Iraqi security forces. “We’re reviewing a range of plans for how we might do that,” Obama said.

A U.S. official afterward stressed to Fox News that Obama was indeed talking only about optimizing that train-and-equip mission, “including integration of Sunni fighters,” and not “overall strategy.” State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke also said Obama was not speaking to overall strategy.

But the comments nevertheless fueled critics’ concerns about the direction of the U.S. mission, particularly on the heels of ISIS gains in Ramadi, and the ancient city of Palmyra in Syria.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., tweeted: “Pres Obama admits: ‘We don’t yet have a complete strategy’ to combat #ISIS”

Republican National Committee spokesman Michael Short cited a similar comment Obama made 10 months ago, saying in a statement, “the fact he still doesn’t have a final plan for the deteriorating situation in Iraq is unacceptable.”

A military official also took issue with Obama’s claim that he was waiting for options from the Pentagon. “What the f— was that? We have given him lots of options, he just hasn’t acted on them,” the official told Fox News.

Obama, similarly, said last August that the U.S. did not “have a strategy yet” for confronting ISIS in Syria. The administration later approved airstrikes in Syria.

Underscoring the work to be done training Iraqi forces, a Pentagon official told Fox News that zero soldiers are being trained at the al-Asad Air Base in Anbar — the province where ISIS seized the city of Ramadi last month.

However, the Pentagon says 2,598 are in training at other locations in Iraq. And 8,920 Iraqi soldiers have been trained to date by the U.S. military.

Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren backed up the president on his assertion he was still awaiting a “finalized plan” from the Pentagon. He said Defense Secretary Ash Carter has assembled a group of “experts” to develop courses of action to “increase support” to Iraqi forces. Warren would not give a timeline on when this “finalized plan” would be presented to the White House.

A separate defense official told Fox News that any potential increases in the size of the U.S. military presence would likely be in the “train-and-equip” mission and not tactical air controllers to call in close air support against ISIS forces by U.S. aircraft flying overhead.

Echoing the president, the official said, “the problem is the number of recruits” that the U.S. military can train. “We are sending weapons as quickly as we can to Iraq, I don’t think we can send anymore,” he said.

Obama put some of the responsibility on the Iraqis themselves, urging them to be more inclusive. Speaking Monday, shortly after meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Obama said a “big part” of the solution is “outreach to Sunni tribes.”

“We’ve seen Sunni tribes who are not only willing and prepared to fight ISIL, but have been successful at rebuffing ISIL. But it has not been happening as fast as it needs to,” he said. “And so, one of the efforts that I’m hoping to see out of Prime Minister Abadi and the Iraqi legislature when they’re in session is to move forward on a national guard law that would help to devolve some of the security efforts in places like Anbar to local folks and to get those Sunni tribes involved more rapidly.”

A little over 47 years ago, another Democrat American President was waging a limited war in a foreign land with the help of a coalition. He also decided to go in for the American people to explain how he was prosecuting a “limited” war.

On March 31, 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson gave an “Address to the Nation Announcing Steps To Limit the War in Vietnam and Reporting His Decision Not To Seek Reelection”.

Here’s an excerpt:

Tonight, I have ordered our aircraft and our naval vessels to make no attacks on North Vietnam, except in the area north of the demilitarized zone where the continuing enemy buildup directly threatens allied forward positions and where the movements of their troops and supplies are clearly related to that threat.

The area in which we are stopping our attacks includes almost 90 percent of North Vietnam’s population, and most of its territory. Thus there will be no attacks around the principal populated areas, or in the food-producing areas of North Vietnam.

Even this very limited bombing of the North could come to an early end–if our restraint is matched by restraint in Hanoi. But I cannot in good conscience stop all bombing so long as to do so would immediately and directly endanger the lives of our men and our allies. Whether a complete bombing halt becomes possible in the future will be determined by events.

Our purpose in this action is to bring about a reduction in the level of violence that now exists.

It is to save the lives of brave men–and to save the lives of innocent women and children. It is to permit the contending forces to move closer to a political settlement.

And tonight, I call upon the United Kingdom and I call upon the Soviet Union–as cochairmen of the Geneva Conferences, and as permanent members of the United Nations Security Council–to do all they can to move from the unilateral act of deescalation that I have just announced toward genuine peace in Southeast Asia.

Now, as in the past, the United States is ready to send its representatives to any forum, at any time, to discuss the means of bringing this ugly war to an end.

I am designating one of our most distinguished Americans, Ambassador Averell Harriman, as my personal representative for such talks. In addition, I have asked Ambassador Llewellyn Thompson, who returned from Moscow for consultation, to be available to join Ambassador Harriman at Geneva or any other suitable place–just as soon as Hanoi agrees to a conference.

I call upon President Ho Chi Minh to respond positively, and favorably, to this new step toward peace.

But if peace does not come now through negotiations, it will come when Hanoi understands that our common resolve is unshakable, and our common strength is invincible.

Tonight, we and the other allied nations are contributing 600,000 fighting men to assist 700,000 South Vietnamese troops in defending their little country.

Our presence there has always rested on this basic belief: The main burden of preserving their freedom must be carried out by them–by the South Vietnamese themselves.

We and our allies can only help to provide a shield behind which the people of South Vietnam can survive and can grow and develop. On their efforts–on their determination and resourcefulness–the outcome will ultimately depend.

Of course, we all remember how the Vietnam War ended…with the last American Military Helicopter bugging out of Saigon as the Communist Regime of North Vietnam took over the country.

Like me, you have probably heard it said, time and time again, that “Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”.

Evidently, Obama did not study the Vietnam War in his Indonesian Madrassa, Hawaiian High School, Columbia, or Harvard.

If he did, he did not pay attention to the mistakes that were made, because what we saw unfold in Libya, and are currently seeing unfold in Iraq, follow a pattern reminiscent of the beginning of “that Crazy Asian War” (with apologies to Kenny Rogers and Mel Tillis).

However, we don’t have to go back to the Vietnam War to experience the failure of an American “Limited Engagement”.

Obama already has a failed “Limited Engagement” on his Presidential Resume. As I write this blog, Radical Muslims are still swimming in the US Embassy pool in Libya, while 11 airplanes have been missing for months from the Libyan Airport.

Let’s face facts.

During his presidency Obama has reached out to adherents of the “Religion of Peace”, addressing them shortly after his first Inauguration at the University of Cairo, in a conciliatory speech, setting a milksop tone for his Foreign Policy, which after its full implementation, has turned out, at the hands of Obama and his two Secretaries of State, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, to be a miserable failure.

An ineffective President Barack Hussein Obama is looking like a fool to a world who used to look to America as a bastion of strength and freedom, not weakness and political expediencies.

President Barack Hussein Obama has placed us in untenable position with his weak and vacillating Smart Power Foreign Policy.

Those who used to cringe in their desert tents, while calling us the Great Satan, now laugh in our faces as they walk across our southern borders with the rest of the illegal immigrants.

That is, if Obama simply does not invite them to the White House and meet with them, as he has the Muslim Brotherhood.

As ISIS’ march across the Middle East continues, I am certain that we will continue to hear the same rhetoric and failed “Smart Power!” Foreign Policy Strategy coming from “the smartest person in the room”.

At a time when we need “Ronnie Ray-gun”, we’re stuck with Steve Urkel.

Fox News Poll: Majority of Americans Believe That Obama Stinks on Ice

Obama-Shrinks-2On Thursday, a Fox News Poll came out, which was ignored by the Main Stream Media, because it showed results which they did not care to report.

According to Fox News,

Majorities of voters feel the country is still in recession, think terrorists are living in their hometown and rate the Obama White House handling of the government as incompetent.

Those are some of the findings from the latest Fox News poll released Thursday.

Six in 10 voters think it is likely terrorists are living in their hometown (60 percent). That’s up from 48 percent who felt that way in 2007, the last time the question was asked, and back to about what it was nine months after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In June 2002, 58 percent thought terrorists were in their community.

The 60-percent majority that says the country is still in a recession is actually down from 74 percent in 2014. The high-water mark came in 2010 when 86 percent of voters said the country was in recession. The new poll shows a record 36 percent say it feels like the recession is over. That’s significantly above the 10 percent who felt that way five years ago.

Just over half of voters — 53 percent — say the Obama administration has not been “competent and effective” in managing the federal government. While that’s hardly welcome news at six years into a presidency, it’s also an improvement from last year, when voters said the White House was incompetent by a 59-39 percent margin. Today 44 percent say the administration has been competent.

Obama’s job approval is about where it’s been for the last two years: 44 percent approve of his performance, while 51 percent disapprove. Last month it was 42-53 percent. A year ago it was 44-49 percent.

The president gets some of his best marks on the economy, although he’s still in negative territory: 46 percent approve of the job he’s doing, while 49 percent disapprove. (His record low approval of 34 percent came in August 2011.)

Obama gets lower marks for his handling of ISIS. Only 32 percent of voters approve. A 55-percent majority disapproves.

The poll finds a record-high 29 percent think it is “very” likely terrorists are living in their area.

Voters who are part of the Tea Party movement (69 percent), those ages 55 and over (67 percent), independents (65 percent) and Southerners (63 percent) are among those most convinced terrorists are living nearby.

At the same time, most voters are confident U.S. intelligence agencies will succeed in identifying threats in time to prevent attacks: 65 percent feel confident vs. 33 percent not confident.

[The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 1,006 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from May 9-12, 2015. The full poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.]

Gentle Reader, let’s examine these numbers, shall we?

1. Six in 10 voters think it is likely terrorists are living in their hometown (60 percent).

Paranoia? Hardly. As the Tsarnaev Brothers, showed, Radical Islamic Murderers are, in fact, living among us.

By the way, I hope they fry the little murdering punk until he is extra crispy, but, not before the unrepentant child murderer spends some time in a cell with Bubba the Love Sponge.

Oops. Did I just say that out loud?

With the Dhimmi Wuss, Barack Hussein Obama, still attempting to turn his feckless Foreign Policy Strategy of “Smart Power!”, a strategy built on naiveté and cluelessness, which embraces those who want to decapitate all of us “Infidels” and hoist the Islamic Flag on the top of our White House, into a legacy which sees Iran complete their building or a nuclear bomb, the high percentage of Americans who believe that these fanatics walk among us in no surprise.

Heck, I would say that the percentage is actually higher.

2. A 60-percent majority still say the country is still in a recession.

Well, duh.

When you have 37.8% of your workforce NOT WORKING, I would say that we are still in a recession.

I was…ahem…between jobs…from April – October of 2014, and, I am here to tell you…it ain’t no fun.

Through the Grace of God, I am now in the greatest job I have ever had.

No thanks to our Far Left Administration and their glassy-eyed minions, who are intent on installing socialism, a part of Marxist Theory, which has failed in every nation where it has been tried, including Scandinavia, which Liberals attempt to use as a template for their vision of America.

I missed the part where Scandanavia was a peer of the USA. Gambia, maybe. It’s the size of Rhode Island.

From wsj.com:

There’s something unsettling about Scandinavia.

No, not the local penchant for heavy metal rock, gloomy crime literature and angst-ridden cinema. But rather with the region’s economies.

The trio of countries that form Scandinavia–Denmark, Norway and Sweden–have for years been the heartland of some of the world’s highest standards of living. But it seems the pristine facade has been built on rather wobbly foundations.

Even though none is a member of the euro zone and Norway isn’t even a member of the European Union, they’re all manifesting a number of the single currency’s problems, not least falling inflation. At the same time, households in all three countries carry huge debt burdens while all have also manifested symptoms of housing bubbles during recent years.

In March, Sweden slipped into deflation, with prices contracting 0.4% on the year, having long been on a downtrend. Denmark’s inflation rate remains positive, but only just, with inflation running at 0.2% in the same month. Even Norway, which has seen higher rates of price growth during the past year has been seeing a downward trend in price pressures–its annual inflation rate in March was 1.8%, having averaged 2.2% during the past year.

Some economists have recently argued that Sweden has brought deflation and sub-par growth upon itself because its central bank, the Riksbank, has kept monetary policy too tight. But it seems the Riksbank had its eyes on other problems.

Sweden seems to be in the throes of a housing bubble. Prices are up nearly 70% on where they were at the start of 2005. Relative to average incomes, they are 17% above their long term average, and rents are more than 30% above. Given that it’s a country with a small population but vast tracts of land, any significant divergence in prices from other economic trends, like nominal GDP growth, ought to set central bankers’ alarms ringing. And when it’s accompanied by high levels of debt, those alarms ought to keep them awake at night.

Of 28 leading international economies, Denmark had by far the highest share of debt as a percentage of disposable income in 2011 (the latest data available), with Norway and Sweden coming in fifth and sixth respectively.

It is an unbelievable hubris which allows Modern America Liberals to believe that that Socialism will work in America where is has failed and is failing, everywhere else.

3. Obama’s job approval is about where it’s been for the last two years: 44 percent approve of his performance, while 51 percent disapprove. Last month it was 42-53 percent. A year ago it was 44-49 percent.

Why are Obama’s scores remaining so high, when Obama is on his way to turning the “Shining City Upon a Hill” into a Third World Democratic Socialist clone of Venezuela?

Simple. A minority of Americans don’t care…as long as they get their “benefits”…as their refer to living on the Government Dole.

While on the Campaign Trail in 2012, Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney said,

There are 47% of the people who will vote for the president no matter what … who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims. … These are people who pay no income tax. … and so my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.

Of course, Mitt was blasted in the MSM and on Social Media, for his statement, and, being a Moderate, he eventually tried to walk it back, instead of sticking to his guns.

The irony is, he was right.

Which explains Obama’s 44% Approval Poll Numbers.

These Americans, whose enslavement to the Government Dole is generational in some cases, are not voicing their approval of Obama’s performance as president. They are protecting their “benefits”.

Now, of course, the Liberals who will read this blog and attack me, instead of attempting to dispute the poll results, will assure you that everything is just hunky-dory and Obama is still the greatest thing since sliced bread.

However, the greatest United States President in my lifetime, Ronald Wilson Reagan, once offered a sage piece of advice in analyzing how  beneficial for America a presidency has been. Reagan asked during the Presidential Campaign of 1980:

Are you better off now than you were four years ago?

Is America better off now than we were in 2008?

If we are personally, it is not due to the failed policies of Barack Hussein Obama.

As a nation, and as regarding our position as a World Leader, we most certainly are not.

C’mon, January 2017.

Obama Vs. Fox News: Government-Controlled Media Vs. Freedom of Information

obamabillofrightsObama, through the recent powers granted to the Federal Communication Commission, is already trying to seize control of the Internet.

Now, he wants to seize control of Fox News.

According to Fox News,

At the Georgetown University discussion on Tuesday, Obama lamented how, sometimes, the poor are cast as “sponges” who don’t want to work.

“I have to say that if you watch Fox News on a regular basis, it is a constant menu — they will find folks who make me mad,” Obama said. “I don’t know where they find them. They’re like, I don’t want to work, I just want a free Obama phone or whatever. … And very rarely do you hear an interview of a waitress — which is much more typical — who’s raising a couple of kids and is doing everything right but still can’t pay the bills.”

Obama went on to call for a change in not only how GOP leaders in Congress “think” — but how the news media cover these issues:

“We’re going to have to change how our body politic thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues and how people’s impressions of what it’s like to struggle in this economy looks like, and how budgets connect to that. And that’s a hard process because that requires a much broader conversation than typically we have on the nightly news.”

The remark, while perhaps an off-the-cuff moment, only revived concerns about the federal government taking an uncomfortable interest in how the media reports.

“No matter what bias you feel exists in any news outlet, the president, nor any other elected official should feel they have the right or ability to censor the media,” said Joseph Desilets, Republican strategist and managing partner at the D.C.-based political consulting firm 21st & Main.

“Had George W. Bush made the same assertion, it would have been considered tyranny. The president doesn’t get to tell the media how to do its job. That’s outrageous,” said Tim Graham, director of the conservative Media Research Center and executive editor at NewsBusters.

Only a year ago, the Federal Communications Commission scrapped plans to pursue a controversial study of American newsrooms.

The study as originally proposed would have sent researchers into American newsrooms across the country to ask what critics called intrusive questions about editorial judgment and practices. The FCC eventually acknowledged some of those questions “overstepped the bounds of what is required,” and shelved a pilot study. The initial proposal for the study called for looking into issues like “perceived station bias” and “perceived responsiveness to underserved populations.”

Graham, referring to Obama’s comments Tuesday, also said, “Obama can go after Fox because other news outlets don’t see it as an attack on them.”

For years, the Main Stream Media has been in bed with politicians and business moguls. While, touting objectivity, they have often fallen way short of that goal.

The Media really came into its own during the 80’s, with the advent of Cable Television, the Iranian Hostage Crisis, and the ascension and election of President Ronald Wilson Reagan. Their advocacy of all things Liberal became very apparent, as they attacked the greatest president of this generation, mercilessly, giving no quarter.

I believe that Reagan’s election was a wake up call to the MSM. They realized that, if let to their own devices, the American Public would elect a Conservative as president, every time. And, they just couldn’t have that. They were already in too deep to their Democratic, Progressive Masters.

So, America’s Media forsook their objectivity, choosing to help to shape current events, instead of just reporting on them, in an effort to produce outcomes which would be most beneficial to the Progressive Cause.

Now, in 2015, after propping up Barack Hussein Obama and getting him re-elected, their own hubris has given them an exaggerated sense of self-importance, as to their role in our society.

Their Achilles’ Heel , the before-mentioned hubris, blinded them to the potential of the upstart Fox News Channel, and that has been their undoing, much to Obama’s consternation.

Every night of the week, the Fox News Channel beats the mainstream outlets in popularity. There is a reason for that.

Fox News is exactly what it claims to be: fair and balanced. The mainstream news channels are so far up Obama’s backside that they wouldn’t know the truth if it French-kissed them.

Just as it was during the Russian Revolution, when Vladimir Leninn seized control of Russia from the Czar, and just as it was during the era of the National Socialist Party in Germany, when a former altar boy and house painter named Adolf Hitler took over, the first thing that totalitarian governments do is to take control of media, for propaganda purposes.

Through threats, coercion, and promises of reward, that is exactly what Obama did when he took office.

Of course, he did not have to try very hard. The Main Stream Media were already Obama Fanboys, their staff being made up of a majority of Liberals.

Heck, they were posting fictitious propaganda about Barack Hussein Obama, before he was even elected president.

The election of Barack Hussein Obama is the best thing that ever happened to the Fox News Channel. It has solidified their position as the Leader in Cable News.

And, the thing about it, is the fact that Fox News is not the only source by which Americans can obtain the truth about Obama and his administration. The New Media, the Internet, has proven to be an invaluable source for dissemination of information.

Principled reporters, such as the late Andrew Breitbart and Michelle Malkin, turned up the heat on both Obama and the MSM, by providing an alternative source through which Americans can receive news, unfiltered by those in the Halls of Power.

For the president of United States to engage in a personal battle against those who provide information which is detrimental to his plans, is not only petty, but totalitarian in nature.

Just as Barack Hussein Obama’s wife’s mask slipped off recently to reveal the racist underneath, during these last couple of years of his Presidency, Obama’s own mask of Political Moderation, has completely fallen off to reveal a Far Left Socialist, intent on changing America from an exceptional Constitutional Republic to just another Democratic Socialist Country, where all of our American Freedoms, including the Freedom of Information, will be sacrificed for the good of the State.

ISIS Overruns Iraqi Town…Next To US Marine Base

AFBrancoRadicalIslamUnicorn21215The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Islam teaches peace. Muslims the world over aspire to live with dignity and a sense of justice. And when it comes to America and Islam, there is no us and them, there is only us. – United States President Barack Hussein Obama, September 23, 2014

Someone needs to tell the Radical Followers of Islam that…

FoxNews.com reports that

Islamic State fighters reportedly seized most of a western Iraqi town on Thursday, in fighting taking place mere miles from an air base where hundreds of U.S. Marines are training Iraqis.

Reuters, quoting local officials, reported Thursday that ISIS militants had overrun much of the town of al-Baghdadi. One local Iraqi official told Reuters that, “Ninety percent of al-Baghdadi district has fallen under the control of the insurgents.”

A Defense Department spokeswoman confirmed to Fox News that “heavy fighting” took place in that area on Thursday, but referred questions about the status of the town to the Iraq government.

“There was no direct attack on the Al Asad air base,” the spokeswoman assured, while acknowledging reports of “ineffective indirect fire in the vicinity of the base.”

Reuters had reported that, according to unnamed officials, a group of insurgents did attack the well-fortified base but failed to break in.

The Al Asad air base is where 320 U.S. Marines are stationed training Iraqi forces. It is a mere 13-minute drive from al-Baghdadi to the base.

“It bears watching,” retired Col. Thomas Lynch, a National Defense University fellow, told Fox News, regarding the reports out of Iraq.

But he stressed that for the fighters to pose a threat to the base, they’d have to get through the perimeter. While “it’s not impossible,” Lynch said, to do it they would have to amass a large number of fighters – which would make them “vulnerable” to airstrikes.

The area in Anbar Province has long been a hot zone of fighting as ISIS looks to hold and expand its self-declared caliphate in Iraq and Syria. In January, the Pentagon first confirmed that U.S. troops at the Al Asad base had been coming under regular mortar fire.

To date, those attacks have been described as ineffective. A senior U.S. official told Fox News the base receives “low-scale” indirect fire from time to time.

“We continue to support efforts by Iraqi Security Forces, working in conjunction with tribal fighters, directed against ISIL in the province,” the DOD spokeswoman said Thursday.

According to Reuters, militants attacked the town of al-Baghdadi from two directions before advancing inward.

The development comes as the U.S.-led coalition continues to launch airstrikes against ISIS, with Jordan taking on a greater role following the brutal execution of a captured Jordanian pilot at ISIS’ hands.

American aid worker Kayla Mueller’s death – which was blamed on ISIS – also was confirmed earlier this week.

Citing the deaths of Mueller and other American captives, President Obama on Wednesday asked Congress to give formal approval to use military force against ISIS. Obama said the group poses a “grave threat” and could threaten the U.S. homeland if left “unchecked.”

President Obama is in a trap of his own making. It started with his Speech to the Muslim World at the University of Cairo, shortly after his first Inauguration as President, in which he sounded like a subservient dhimmi.

In the years that followed, his genteel Foreign Policy toward the Barbarians of the Muslim World, known as “Smart Power!”, led to a never-ending Radical Islamic Revolution in the Middle East, known as Arab Spring, through which Moderate Muslim Dictators were replaced by Radical Muslim Dictators. It also led to the increased threat of the extermination of Israel, and the changing of NASA into a Muslim Outreach Program.

The sixth President of the United States of America, John Quincy Adams, wrote the following about the nature of Islam:

THE ESSENCE OF HIS [MUHAMMAD’S] DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE [Adams’ capital letters]… Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. The war is yet flagrant… While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and goodwill towards men…The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.

In contrast, our present Petulant President Pantywaist will not even call Radical Islam by its name.

He has already proclaimed that we are not at war with Islam.

So, how can America win this war against Radical Islam, if the President of our country will not even admit that we are in one?

Little White Liars, Bald-Faced Liars, and Brian Williams

Brian Williams 1Lies, lies
I can’t believe
A word you say
Lies, lies
Are gonna make
You sad someday – The Knickerbockers, 1966

The New Orleans Advocate reports that

NBC News anchor Brian Williams, who apologized on the air Wednesday night for lying about an experience covering the Iraq War, is now facing scrutiny over his gripping accounts of Hurricane Katrina, the disaster that burnished his nightly news bona fides almost a decade ago.

Williams’ account of seeing a body float by in the French Quarter — which remained largely dry — and even a claim of catching dysentery from drinking Katrina floodwaters have raised eyebrows among bloggers and elsewhere since he took it on the chin this week over a claim that he rode in a helicopter that was downed by a rocket-propelled grenade in Iraq.

“I was instead in a following aircraft. We all landed after the ground fire incident and spent two harrowing nights in a sandstorm in the Iraq desert,” Williams said Wednesday. He painted his earlier description as a “bungled attempt” to thank an Iraq War veteran.

The online feeding frenzy quickly turned to the 55-year-old anchor’s signature assignment: covering Katrina from before it made landfall, when he spent the night of the storm with refuge-seekers in the Superdome and then reported on the harrowing days that followed.

“When you look out of your hotel window in the French Quarter and watch a man float by face down, when you see bodies that you last saw in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, and swore to yourself that you would never see in your country,” Williams said in a 2006 interview.

And last year, in an interview with Tom Brokaw, the man he replaced in the anchor chair at NBC, Williams said:

“My week, two weeks there was not helped by the fact that I accidentally ingested some of the floodwater. I became very sick with dysentery, our hotel was overrun with gangs, I was rescued in the stairwell of a five-star hotel in New Orleans by a young police officer. We are friends to this day. And uh, it just was uh, I look back at total agony.”

But the French Quarter, the original high ground of New Orleans, was not impacted by the floodwaters that overwhelmed the vast majority of the city.

A spokesman for NBC did not immediately respond Thursday to questions about those comments, the hotel to which Williams referred, whether Williams stands by the claims or whether the network is reviewing them.

Williams has described his experiences during Katrina as personally transformative, and he has returned to the city and the topic numerous times since.

“I saw fear, I saw death, I saw depravity, I saw firearms being brandished, I saw looting,” he told the Los Angeles Times a year after Katrina made landfall.

He also recalled the danger of the moment in a 2007 interview on C-SPAN.

“We had to have men with guns behind me one night because I was the only source of light downtown, was the lights that were illuminating the broadcast,” Williams said. “We were told not to drink our bottled water in front of people because we could get killed for it.”

Other accounts have Williams curled up in the fetal position between his on-air reports from a bad bout with dysentery.

A spokeswoman from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals said dysentery is not one of the reportable diseases the agency tracks but that contaminated water sources are possible “transmission points” for dysentery.

Dr. Brobson Lutz, a former city health director who manned an EMS trailer that was set up in the 900 block of Dumaine Street, a block from his house in the French Quarter, said he was a fan of Williams but dubious of his claims.

“We were never wet. It was never wet,” he remarked of the conditions in the city’s most historic neighborhood.

As for dysentery, “I saw a lot of people with cuts and bruises and such, but I don’t recall a single, solitary case of gastroenteritis during Katrina or in the whole month afterward,” Lutz said.

As for Williams saying he accidentally drank floodwaters, Lutz added, “I don’t know anybody that’s tried that to see, but my dogs drank it, and they didn’t have any problems.”

In his interview last year, Brokaw praised Williams, saying that with his reporting during Katrina, Williams “took ownership, if you will, of the anchor chair” following a longtime stint as Brokaw’s understudy.

Since then, Williams has become well known for his sharp-witted comic turns on the late-night talk show circuit. And he has continued to check in on a city that he has said “is always going to be a part of me.”

Questions about Williams’ recollections of his experience during Katrina weave into a larger tapestry of erratic, and sometimes downright erroneous, journalism that emerged from the chaos of the storm and its aftermath.

Why do members of the Main Stream Media, like Brian Williams,  feel so compelled to lie about their experiences, “embellishing their resumes”, and acting like a poor man’s Geraldo Rivera?

First, Let’s look at the make-up of our nation, in terms of political ideology.

Per gallup.com…

38% of Americans are Conservative.
34% of Americans are Moderate.
23% is Americans are Liberals.

These numbers prove that Conservatism remains the strongest political ideology in America, followed closely by Americans who consider themselves to be “Moderate”.

Liberalism remains the smallest (albeit most vocal) political ideology in America, still mired in the low 20s, in terms of that ideology’s percentage of our population.

The disconnect between CNN and MSNBC and the American Viewing Public occurs because the political ideology of the Main Stream Media is overwhelmingly Liberal.

A while back, the Media Research Center reported that:

In May 2004, the Pew Research Center for The People and The Press (in association with the Project for Excellence in Journalism and the Committee of Concerned Journalists) surveyed 547 journalists and media executives, including 247 at national-level media outlets. The poll was similar to ones conducted by the same group (previously known as the Times Mirror Center for the People and the Press) in 1995 and 1999. The actual polling was done by the Princeton Survey Research Associates.

KEY FINDINGS:

Five times more national journalists identify themselves as “liberal” (34 percent) than “conservative” (just 7 percent). In contrast, a survey of the public taken in May 2004 found 20 percent saying they were liberal, and 33 percent saying they were conservative.

The percentage of national reporters saying they are liberal has increased, from 22 percent in 1995 to 34 percent in 2004. The percentage of self-identified conservatives remains low, rising from a meager 4 percent in 1995 to a still-paltry 7 percent in 2004.

Liberals also outnumber conservatives in local newsrooms. Pew found that 23 percent of the local journalists they questioned say they are liberals, while about half as many (12 percent) call themselves conservative.

Most national journalists (55 percent) say the media are “not critical enough” of President Bush, compared with only eight percent who believe the press has been “too critical.” In 1995, the poll found just two percent thought journalists had given “too much” coverage to then-President Clinton’s accomplishments, compared to 48 percent who complained of “too little” coverage of Clinton’s achievements.

Reporters struggled to name a liberal news organization. According to Pew, “The New York Times was most often mentioned as the national daily news organization that takes a decidedly liberal point of view, but only by 20% of the national sample.” Only two percent of reporters suggested CNN, ABC, CBS, or NPR were liberal; just one percent named NBC.

Journalists did see ideology at one outlet: “The single news outlet that strikes most journalists as taking a particular ideological stance — either liberal or conservative — is Fox News Channel,” Pew reported. More than two-thirds of national journalists (69 percent) tagged FNC as a conservative news organization, followed by The Washington Times (9 percent) and The Wall Street Journal (8 percent).

Since Pew conducted their research, 10 years ago in 2004, the Liberal Political Bias, present in America’s Newsrooms, has steadily become worse, to the point of being unwatchable, due to their slavish devotion to the “First Post-Racial President”and their decidedly Liberal slant to every single news story, including the shootings of Strong Arm Robbery Suspect Michael Brown, Earl Gardner in New York City, and all of the politically-funded “protests”.

The brilliant Conservative Economist, Dr. Thomas Sowell wrote,

…Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the world envisioned by today’s liberals is that it is a world where other people just passively accept whatever “change” liberals impose. In the world of Liberal Land, you can just take for granted all the benefits of the existing society, and then simply tack on your new, wonderful ideas that will make things better.

Liberal Ideas always cost taxpayer money…and they never make things better for the average American.

The Main Stream Media firmly believes that it is their job to serve as a Propaganda Arm for both the Democrats in Congress and President Barack Hussein Obama and his Administration, no matter how costly their programs might be to the American People.

President Ronald Reagan once famously said,

It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.

Which explains the gross overestimation by “Broadcast Journalists”, such as Brian Williams, of their own intelligence and potential popularity through their subjective coverage, aimed at a Liberal audience.

In clear and concise terms (in deference to any Liberals who may be reading this), the reason that Fox News kicks CNN’s and MSNBC’s hindquarters week after week, and is actually more respected than the Broadcast News Operations, is because their programming and news-reporting philosophy more accurately reflects the political ideology of the average American.

When I was a Collegiate Radio News Director from 1978-1980, I made sure that all 21 students on my on-air staff, including myself, maintained our objectivity in our reporting.

In Main Stream Media Newsrooms now, 35 years later,  ideology has replaced objectivity.

And, that is why they fail.

…And, why Brian Williams felt compelled to lie…and lie….

Until He Comes,

Ebola in America: Treatment By Confusion

EbolaFirst and foremost, I want the American people to know that our experts, here at the CDC and across our government, agree that the chances of an Ebola outbreak here in the United States are extremely low. We’ve been taking the necessary precautions, including working with countries in West Africa to increase screening at airports so that someone with the virus doesn’t get on a plane for the United States. In the unlikely event that someone with Ebola does reach our shores, we’ve taken new measures so that we’re prepared here at home. We’re working to help flight crews identify people who are sick, and more labs across our country now have the capacity to quickly test for the virus. We’re working with hospitals to make sure that they are prepared, and to ensure that our doctors, our nurses and our medical staff are trained, are ready, and are able to deal with a possible case safely. – President Barack Hussein Obama, “Remarks by the President on the Ebola Outbreak,  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, Georgia, 9/16/2014

To quote Maxwell Smart, Agent 86,

Missed it by that much.

As more cases of Ebola are coming to light, here in the “Shining City on a Hill”, the question concerning the outbreak remains,

Who is in charge here?

USA Today reports that

As Thomas Eric Duncan’s family mourns the USA’s first Ebola death in Dallas, one question reverberates over a series of apparent missteps in the case: Who is in charge of the response to Ebola?

The answer seems to be — there really isn’t one person or agency. There is not a single national response.

The Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has emerged as the standard-bearer — and sometimes the scapegoat — on Ebola.

Public health is the purview of the states, and as the nation anticipates more Ebola cases, some experts say the way the United States handles public health is not up to the challenge.

“One of the things we have to understand is the federal, state and local public health relationships,” says Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota. “Public health is inherently a state issue. The state really is in charge of public health at the state and local level. It’s a constitutional issue. The CDC can’t just walk in on these cases. They have to be invited in.”

…Though the CDC is tasked with readying the nation for an Ebola outbreak, then leading the national response, the Department of Homeland Security is responsible for protecting the borders, according to Thomas Skinner, a spokesman for the CDC, which is under the auspices of the Department of Health and Human Services.

The CDC collaborates with health departments and laboratories around the USA to make sure they are able to test for Ebola and respond rapidly if there is a case in their state, CDC spokeswoman Kirsten Nordlund said.

Uh huh.

Dr. Manny Alvarez, Fox News Senior Medical Editor for Health News, wrote the following:

Is the CDC in control?

I am not sure anymore. This latest case of Ebola in Texas has me wondering whether the CDC is prepared to eradicate any further contamination on U.S. soil.

CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden stated that this latest case of Ebola was due to a breach in medical protocol. This current patient is a nurse who was part of the team treating Thomas Eric Duncan, who died last week from Ebola.

As we all know, Mr. Duncan was very sick and he was in an isolation unit for more than a week.

I would have imagined that the CDC would have been all over the supervision of this patient in the hospital, making sure that all protocols were being followed properly.

So you see my conundrum. Did the CDC drop the ball? Or are we blaming this breach of protocol on hospital staff?

I have been saying that not all hospitals are created equal and have the infrastructure necessary to fully protect its staff. The infrastructure is not available in many cities in the U.S.

So the question is: How are we going to control further contamination?

The time has come to have specific centers where patients with suspected Ebola need to be monitored and treated. Hospital staff needs to be better protected.

I think that Dr. Frieden needs to evaluate whether he is qualified for this national task. I think that Dr. Frieden needs to consider whether to delegate this responsibility to the Department of Defense, because dealing with Ebola warrants a military medical approach rather than a bureaucratic political Washington approach.

Tough decisions need to be made. Dr. Frieden’s argument of not closing West Africa to commercial travel does not hold water. A better approach would be to have military flights bring supplies and volunteers to eradicate this epidemic in that continent. It would minimize the potential dangers to other communities around the planet as the world works on better treatment plans. Otherwise the Ebola war will continue for generations to come.

So, to summarize, a deadly disease, which has been contained in Africa for quite some time now, is now here in America, while 3,000 American Sons and Daughters, our Brightest and Best, have been sent by Obama to “combat it” and possibly become exposed to it.

What happens when they bring it back home with them?

Meanwhile, those tens of thousands of “unaccompanied minors” who invaded our Southern Border recently, have been spread all over America by Barack Hussein Obama.

And, as I reported before, they brought tuberculosis and other diseases with them.

The question remains,

Who is in charge here?

Until He Comes,

Liberals Upset Over Something “Duck Dynasty’s” Phil Robertson Said…Again.

PhilRobertsonCartoonAmerican Liberals have, once again, taken a ride on Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train”.

…at least the ones whom I have engaged in “discussions” on Facebook Political Pages, within the last 24 hours, have.

The “smartest people in the room” are in the middle of a serious case of denial over the the objectives of the followers of Radical Islam.

In “talking” to them, I have found their sense of superiority frustrating and their naivete as to the barbaric nature of these Jihadists, breathtaking.

If I were to use the latest acronym SMH,”Twitter” for “Shaking My Head” to describe my incredulity toward this attitude of the self-proclaimed “Smartest People in the Room”, that would be a mammoth understatement.

American Liberals were positively apoplectic yesterday over “Duck Commander” and Christian Preacher, Phil Robertson’s recent interview with Fox New’s Sean Hannity, in which the “Duck Dynasty” Patriarch made his feelings about the Radical Muslims, who seek to destroy us, known in no uncertain terms.  Here is an excerpt, courtesy of nation.foxnews.com:

ROBERTSON: Worldwide, planet-wide, Biblically speaking, two groups of people, the children of God, and the whole world is under the control of the evil one. That’s First John 5:19. The evil one works in those who are disobedient. Galatians 3, they are prisoners of sin. Second Timothy 2, the Bible says they’ve been taken captive by Satan to do his will.

Listen, let me show you one. I’ve got the old — hey, America, Declaration of Independence, it’s my book marker. Don’t forget that. Listen to this, Sean. Solomon, one of the wisest men on earth if not the wisest, he’s speaking of wisdom, “Whoever finds me, wisdom finds light. Watch and receives favor from the lord. But whoever fails to find me,” this is the God of the Bible, “harms himself.” Now, listen to this on this ISIS thing, “All who hate me love death.”

So you scratch your head and you say, well, why is it that when we’re not even over there in the Middle East, why do they continue to slaughter each other when we’re not even on the premises? They can’t blame us. We left Iraq. You said what happened in Egypt and Syria, you say in Libya. They just slaughter each other. You say, what? “All who hate me love death,” Sean.

HANNITY: What is the answer? I think the only answer is, I think they are at war with us.

ROBERTSON: Yes.

HANNITY: Whether we like it or not, I think most people would rather live in peace. Most Americans, just leave us alone, we’ll leave you alone. They’re not going to leave us alone. They’re not going to leave Israel alone. So that leaves us with two options — do nothing and get ready for the next attack. And then we’ll have a report that says, they’re at war with us, we weren’t at war with them.

ROBERTSON: In this case you either have to convert them, which I think would be next to impossible. I’m not giving up on them, but I’m just saying, either convert them or kill them. One or the other.

HANNITY: That’s going —

ROBERTSON: Maybe that time has come and gone, so I think that with this ideology that we’re faced with, this is like street gangs, street thugs on steroids. You think about it, most of the wars we’ve fought, they were not asymmetrical like this one. This one, it’s not a country with a standing army, and we line up and do battle with a certain amount of rules that they violate. But you say this is more like worldwide gang warfare, but this gang is well-armed and well-organized. I think, my opinion, we’re going to have to deal with this group way more harshly than we have up to this point.

HANNITY: Because they’re so harsh. I know they’re going to be people that are always looking to jump on you and say, “Convert them or kill them.” And they’re going to say, “There goes Phil Robertson again.” I know the media. I know they how act.

ROBERTSON: I’d much rather have a Bible study with all of them and show them the error of their ways and point them to Jesus Christ, the author and perfector of having your sins removed and being raised from the dead. I would rather preach the gospel of Jesus to them. However, if it’s a gun fight and a gun fight alone, if that is what they’re looking for, me, personally I am prepared for either one.

As I wrote in my post, “Liberals Pushing “Moral Equivalency” Between American Christianity and Radical Islam”, American Liberals simply do not have a clue as to whom their real enemies are.

America’s chief ally during World War II, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, once said of Islam,

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrogradeforce exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step, and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it (Islam) has vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

Some of this present “Me, First Generation” believe that there is not any difference between American Christianity and Radical Islam. Quite frankly, that’s like saying that there’s no difference between an in-ground swimming pool and a garden hose.

Islam and Christianity present two very different Deities, who may share some similarities, but who have different identities and ultimately different standards. To pretend they are the same is not only to be clueless of the faith of 76% of the citizens of this nation, but, to be ignorant of an integral part of our American Heritage, the legacy of Christian Faith, which our Founding Fathers bequeathed us.

Just like Prime Minister Churchill, I am not saying that every Muslim is on a jihad against “the Infidels”.

However…

When Christians become “radicalized”, we want to share the testimony of what God has done for us through His love, with everyone we meet. We get involved in our local church and we become better fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and American citizens.

When Muslims become “radicalized”, they want to “kill the Infidels” in the name of “Allah the Merciful”.

In the case of the Chechen Muslim brothers who bombed the Boston Marathon, their immersion into Radical Islam led them to “kill the infidels” that horrendous day.

For Liberals to deny that, is disingenuous at best, and just plain out-and-out lying at worst.

Soon after Duck Dynasty became a hit, A&E found out that not only were the Robertsons’ steadfast and unyielding in the exercise of their Christian Faith, but they were also loved by Americans, who laughed with them, instead of at them. It was then that A&E realized that they had a problem…the joke was on them.

And, if these same Liberals, who always seem to argue with Conservatives from a position of “unsubstantiated superiority”, believe that Radical Muslims will somehow spare them from the brutality which they dole out to every Infidel they come across, then the joke is still on them…and the punchline will be so far over their head…that they will lose it.

Fox News Continues to Dominate CNN and MSNBC. Liberals Can’t Figure Out Why.

cablenewslogos8252014As I peruse Political Websites and Facebook Pages, I have noticed that Liberal Posters really have a problem with Fox News. They cannot, for the life of them, figure out why CNN and MSNBC keep getting trounced in the Rating Wars by “Faux News”, as they feebly refer to the Cable News Leader.

Variety.com reports that

A busy week in news was a good one for Fox News Channel, which logged its second highest-rated frame of the year, but a weak one for MSNBC, which found itself deep in third place.

FNC, with several shows hitting 2014 highs, won in adults 25-54 and total viewers on both a primetime and total-day basis for Monday through Friday of last week. Tune-in was above average across the news board due to coverage of the protests in Ferguson and the murder of James Foley.

Looking at the Nielsen numbers, Fox News averaged 443,000 adults 25-54 in primetime to finish ahead of CNN(361,000) in the key news demo, with both networks more than doubling the tally of MSNBC (179,000). CNN had narrowly won in the demo on Monday and Tuesday, before Fox News asserted itself Wednesday through Friday.

In total-day numbers, FNC averaged 272,000, to 241,000 for CNN and just 106,000 for MSNBC.

The only week to rate higher for Fox News this year was the State of the Union frame in January.

As usual, it was no contest in total viewers, with Fox News (2.25 million in primetime, 1.26 million total-day) beating the combined tune-in of CNN (901,000 in primetime, 690,000 in total-day) and MSNBC (737,000 in primetime, 402,000 in total-day).

Among the highlights for Fox News was “The Kelly File” drawing its largest weekly demo audience of the calendar year (455,000), while “Hannity” had its most-watched week of the year (1.84 million) and its highest-rated demo performance to date in the 10 o’clock hour (421,000).  Daytime shows “Outnumbered” and “Happening Now” also hit some 2014 highs.

Why does Fox News keep kicking CNN’s and MSNBC’s hindquarters in the Ratings Wars?

It’s all boils down to a FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE, brought about by disparate political ideologies.

Since Pew conducted their research, 10 years ago in 2004, the Liberal Political Bias, present in America’s Newsrooms, has steadily become worse, to the point of being unwatchable, due to their slavish devotion to the “First Post-Racial President”and their decidedly Liberal slant to every single news story, including the recent shooting of Strong Arm Robbery Suspect Michael Brown, and his Media Circus Funeral, yesterday.

Which explains the gross overestimation by Liberal Cable News Channels of their own intelligence and potential popularity through their subjective coverage, aimed at a Liberal audience.

In clear and concise terms (in deference to any Liberals who may be reading this), the reason that Fox News kicks CNN’s and MSNBC’s hindquarters week after week, is because their programming and news-reporting philosophy more accurately reflects the political ideology of the average American.

When I was a Collegiate Radio News Director from 1978-1980, I made sure that the on-air staff, including myself, maintained our objectivity in our reporting.

In Main Stream Media Newsrooms now, 35 years later,  ideology has replaced objectivity.

And, that is why they fail.
