CNN’s Stelter Interviews Panel of 3 “Non-CNN Voices”…and One was a Former Production Assistant at CNN! So Much for “Reliable Sources”

ChrisCuomo-Cuomo-Stetler

FoxNews.com reports that

CNN’s Brian Stelter reacted to his former colleague Chris Cuomo’s firing by inviting a panel of “non-CNN voices” to react to the news Sunday, but that description appeared to be a misnomer.

Stelter, whose show “Reliable Sources” has recently struggled with poor ratings, offered a timeline of notable moments that led to Cuomo’s termination Saturday after the ex-anchor was found to have helped his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, face sexual harassment allegations. The governor sexually harassed 11 women over the course of seven years, state attorney general Letitia James alleged in an August report.

He resigned in disgrace shortly after the findings. And now the “Cuomo Prime Time” host has lost his position after last week’s bombshell transcripts revealed he used his media influence to dig up dirt on the governor’s female accusers.

An investigation into Chris Cuomo’s behavior also found he had again been accused of sexual misconduct. Cuomo had previously been accused of sexual harassment by veteran TV producer Shelley Ross, who claimed he harassed her when the two worked at ABC News.

“This was about not any single headache but about many headaches that continued to pile up,” Stelter said in the opening of Sunday’s show.

Stelter then introduced a panel of three “non-CNN voices” consisting of Axios’ Sara Fischer, Goucher College media studies professor David Zurawik and “Run Tell That” podcast host Mara Schiavocampo in an attempt, Stelter said, to be “as transparent” as possible to viewers.

But a dig into one of the panelist’s recent past shows that Fischer worked for CNN Politics as a news assistant and later as a production assistant in 2013. And Zurawik refused to say Sunday that CNN has lost trust in the wake of the Cuomo brothers scandal.

“It’s hard to say if CNN lost trust,” Zurawik said, only noting that CNN made the “mistake” of not forcing Cuomo to ask who he “serves.” Zurawik said the correct answer would have been “the public.”

Zurawik noted a loss of “a sense of media ethics in our profession, especially in the last few years.”

Fischer said she’s among those who want to know why CNN took so long to take action and what a further investigation will reveal about both Cuomo and the network at large.

Stelter called the situation a “once in a lifetime ethical dilemma,” adding he was not intending to defend his former colleague’s behavior. But Stelter has come to Cuomo’s defense in the past, including just last week.

“For what it’s worth, when Chris Cuomo addressed his actions on the air back in August, he said, ‘This will be my final word on it,’ and he hasn’t addressed the matter on TV since,” Stelter wrote.

Lindsay Boylan, the first woman to publicly accuse ex-Gov. Cuomo of sexual harassment, called Stelter complicit in the Cuomos’ “abuses of power.”

“What we mean when we say many people help in abuses of power along the way,” Boylan said in response to a Stelter tweet.

Stelter admitted it’s been a “bruising week for CNN” and that there could be “more fallout to come.”

You say “Stelter”, I say “Potato”.

CNN went down the tubes decades ago.

For the last several decades, Americans have witnessed the Fourth Estate, America’s Main Stream Media, slowly but surely lose their objectivity to become a Propaganda Arm for the Democratic Party.

While their reporting became decidedly one-sided, it was not a great danger to the country even though it was a completely different sort of propaganda than when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt used the Main Stream Media to support the American effort in World War II.

Then, the 1980s arrived and along with it a new era in mass communications. Cable News Networks began springing up, increasing the role of the media in our daily lives.

Because of this new role, news organizations increased in their power and their influence in our daily lives. However, with this increased role came the responsibility to fill a 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, with new stories.

When actual new stories became hard to find, human interest stories began to fill the time, and when they ran out, news organizations decided to act like the National Enquirer and started to make news up.

Also, as the years wore on, America’s newsrooms became bastions of Liberal thought as more and more Conservatives left the business simply due to attrition and being squeezed out by young Liberal reporters who were a product of American universities which had become fountains of anti-American Political Activism.

Of course, these Liberal news reporters were members of the Democratic Party as it moved to the left of the political Spectrum. So, naturally, these reporters started reporting news more and more favorably to their political party of choice while keeping with their own personal political philosophy.

We all remember what happened when Barack Obama appeared at the Democratic National Convention.

The Main Stream Media treated him as if his appearance on the political scene was the Second Coming”.

The Main Stream Media had finally become political activists instead of just political observers and pundits.

And, that is where we find ourselves today.

The Main Stream Media did everything in its power as political activists, working as the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party, to keep Donald J. Trump from being elected President of the United States of America in 2016.

During his Presidency, they deliberately posted false and scurrilous news stories designed to impede and threaten his presidency.

And, when there was obvious political chicanery during the 2020 Presidential Election, they turned a blind eye on it.

Even now that Biden has turned out to be the worst United States President in history, leaving Americans and our allies stranded in a country run by Islamic Terrorists, the Liberal Reporters in the Main Stream Media, at least most of them, refuse to call the demented treasonous fool out on his actions.

At least, they are beginning to admit that they are all a bunch of Liberal Political Operatives, instead of objective news reporters.

And, Chris Cuomo has now become their Poster Boy.

But, then again, the majority of Americans had already figured that out about Cuomo, Stelter, and the rest of them already..

Trump on CNN’s “Indefinite Suspension” of Chris Cuomo: “In Any Event, Fredo is Gone!”

Cuomo Brothers Branco Cartoon

FoxNews.com reports that

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday toasted CNN’s indefinite suspension of anchor Chris Cuomo.

“Great news for television viewers, they have just suspended Chris Cuomo indefinitely,” Trump said in a statement. “The big question is, was it because of his horrendous ratings, which in all fairness have permeated CNN and MSDNC, or was it because his brother is no longer Governor? Probably both.”

He added, “In any event, Fredo is gone!”

Fredo is the hapless fictional brother of Michael Corleone in the movie, “The Godfather.”

The network announced on Tuesday that it is suspending Cuomo as it evaluates his conduct following stunning revelations from the New York Attorney General’s investigation into his brother, ousted Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

“The New York Attorney General’s office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense,” a statement from CNN read. “The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions. When Chris admitted to us he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly.”

Calls for the “Cuomo Prime Time” host to be fired intensified on Monday after newly-released documents showed he was far more involved in aiding his embattled brother than he had previously disclosed to viewers.

Isn’t it funny how things have come back to bite all of the self-righteous Democrats in  Washington, New York, and Hollywood right in the gluteus maximus?

As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee in 1991, President Joe Biden presided over the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, where Anita Hill’s accusations of Sexual Harassment against the then-nominee took center stage.

Of course, Biden now expresses regret that he was not able to do more for Anita Hill.

Remember the accusations of Sexual Harassment made against then-Democrat Presidential Candidate Joe Biden by Tara Reade?

Reade was one of eight women who came forward last year (2018) with allegations that Biden made them feel uncomfortable with inappropriate displays of affection. Biden acknowledged the complaints at the time and promised to be “more mindful about respecting personal space in the future.”

Can you say “hypocrite”, boys and girls?

Biden was solidly behind the accusers in the cases of Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, who were both nominated by Republican Presidents to be on the Supreme Court.

Merely the fact that they were Republican Nominees made them guilty as sin in his eyes.

During any situation in which someone the Republicans back is accused of Sexual Harassment, the Democrats automatically insist that Americans “Believe the Women”!

In the case of Serial Sexual Harasser Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Biden and the Democrats were saying

“I think the investigation is underway and we should see what it brings us.”

The Liberal Democrats at CNN behaved the same way toward Chris Cuomo.

They kept on covering for him until they saw that it was driving away the few viewers that they had.

And now, they have “Indefinitely suspended” him because they did not have the guts to fire him.

Democrats are nothing, of not predictable.

Now That Cuomo is Stepping Down, Biden Accuser Tara Reade is Calling for a “Real Investigation”

untitled (313)

Newsmax.com reports that

After New York Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo stepped down Tuesday, Tara Reade is now calling for a “real investigation” into President Joe Biden.

“May there be some measure of justice for the survivors,” Reade, who has accused Biden of having sexual assaulted her in 1993, told Fox News. “Now, let’s call for a real investigation into Joe Biden and expose the corruption protecting powerful predators.”

Reade also called out the corruption of the Time’s Up activist group, which she said failed to come to her defense and was also accused of colluding with Cuomo to discredit one of his accusers. Time’s Up co-chair Roberta Kaplan has since resigned amid the allegations.

“My heart is with the brave Cuomo survivors who endured attempts to discredit them like I did coming forward about Joe Biden with the help of non-profits that were supposed to help women like Time’s Up,” Reade told Fox News.

Reade accused then-Sen. Biden, D-Del., of sexually assaulting her in the halls of Congress in 1993. When she came forward with her allegations, she reached out to Time’s Up for help from its Legal Defense Fund in January 2020, but to no avail.

“Time’s Up committed the most hideous betrayal to protect their most powerful friends and not only not protect survivors but cause harm,” Reade added to Fox News.

Time’s Up offered attorney referrals but denied her funding, claiming it would affect its nonprofit 501(c)(3) status because she was accusing a politician running for office, Fox News reported.

“The revelations and Cuomo’s resignation is a signal to the powerful men with nasty behavior that survivors’ voices will be heard and their behavior no longer rewarded – not from a governor and not from the president of the United States,” Reade told Fox News.

“I hope for justice. Cuomo resigned today and Biden should also resign.”

During his presidential campaign, Biden denied any wrongdoing with Reade, who released her book this past March: “Left Out: When the Truth Doesn’t Fit In,” detailing the roadblocks she had coming forward against the powerful Democrat.

President Biden said that Cuomo did “a hell of a job as Governor”.

Of course he did.

Remember Tara Reade?

FoxNews.com reported in April of 2020 that

Reade’s story first resurfaced in an article in The Intercept on March 24. Podcast host Katie Halper then interviewed Reade, who said that in 1993, a more senior member of Biden’s staff asked her to bring the then-senator his gym bag near the Capitol building, which led to the encounter in question.

“He greeted me, he remembered my name, and then we were alone. It was the strangest thing,” Reade told Halper. “There was no like, exchange really. He just had me up against the wall.”

Reade said that she was wearing “a business skirt,” but “wasn’t wearing stockings—it was a hot day.”

She continued: “His hands were on me and underneath my clothes, and he went down my skirt and then up inside it and he penetrated me with his fingers and he was kissing me at the same time and he was saying some things to me.”

Reade claimed Biden first asked if she wanted “to go somewhere else.”

“I pulled away, he got finished doing what he was doing,” Reade said. “He said: ‘Come on, man. I heard you liked me.’”

Reade said she tried to share her story last year, but nobody listened to her. Earlier this month, she filed a criminal complaint against Biden with police in Washington, D.C.

Before that article, in March of 2020, FoxNews.com reported that

A number of Democratic presidential candidates weighed in on Sunday on the allegations made by a former Nevada political candidate that former Vice President Joe Biden kissed her on the back of the head in 2014.

…Flores made the accusations in a piece in New York magazine in which she accused the former vice president of approaching her from behind, putting his hands on her shoulders, sniffing her hair and kissing her on the back of the head.

“The vice president of the United States of America had just touched me in an intimate way reserved for close friends, family, or romantic partners — and I felt powerless to do anything about it,” she wrote.

And, of course, there was his comment about children being fascinated by his hairy legs.

There are also reports from years past of him being naked in his swimming pool in front of reporters.

And, the Democrats believed that this loser was Presidential Material?

Are you kidding me?

By the way, did you know that there were four corroborating witnesses, to Tara Reades accusations concerning President Biden?.

That is more than the Democrats had to support their erroneous claims against Former Judge, now Associate Supreme Court Justice, Bret Kavanaugh.

Why were the Democratic Elite, the Founders of the #MeToo Movement, so quiet about the allegations of sexual abuse against their then-presumptive Presidential Candidate?

What happened to “Every woman has a right to be heard”?

Cuomo About NY AG Report on His Sexual Harassment of 11 Women: “I Do It to Everyone”

FoxNews.com reports that

Embattled New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D., set Twitter ablaze Tuesday with a bizarre slideshow of him touching and kissing people during a pre-recorded denial that he sexually harassed multiple women.

“I do it with everyone. Black and White, young and old, straight and LGBTQ, powerful people, friends, strangers, people who I meet on the street,” Cuomo said as the slideshow played, providing evidence that he’s touched all sorts of people.

“Doing it to everyone does not make it OK,” Fox News’ Emily Compagno said Tuesday.

The slideshow showed Cuomo hugging, kissing or touching everyone from random New Yorkers to Robert De Niro and Bill Clinton.

“A slideshow of @NYGovCuomo kissing people does NOT negate that he sexually harassed his employees,” New York State Senator Alessandra Biaggi tweeted.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, D., announced her investigation into sexual harassment allegations against Cuomo, which included interviews with 179 people, found he had harassed and inappropriately touched 11 women in his orbit from 2013 to 2020.

Cuomo delivered a video address shortly after the release of the bombshell report that corroborated accounts of the accusers, nine of whom are current or former state employees. The allegations included claims that Cuomo made inappropriate comments or touched them without consent.

Cuomo also said his lawyer prepared a rebuttal document that responds to each of the attorney general’s office’s findings. The lengthy document features a variety of photographs – similar to the slideshow – of Cuomo touching and kissing various people, both men and women, to prove his interactions with accusers are no different than “thousands of similar interactions that he and other politicians” have had during their careers.

“Gov Andrew Cuomo: I Didn’t Harass Those Women, I’m Just Italian,” Spectator U.S. editor Amber Athey tweeted, mocking the governor’s denial.

Journalist Siraj Hashmi called the slideshow “psychotic,” while many questioned who was given the task of putting it together.

…Following James’ assessment that Cuomo had violated state and federal law through his conduct, the Albany County prosecutor said the governor is now under criminal investigation.

Why have the Democratic Elite, the Founders of the #MeToo Movement, been so quiet until now about the allegations of sexual abuse against a Democrat Governor accused by numerous women of Sexual Harassment?

What happened to “Every woman has a right to be heard”?

Does the presumption of guilt involving a claim of sexual abuse only hold true if the accused is a Conservative Republican?

Or, considering Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer, only if they are not the presumptive Democratic President Candidate?

Isn’t it funny how things have come back to bite all of the self-righteous Democrats in  Washington, New York, and Hollywood right in the gluteus maximus?

Biden Says Cuomo Should Resign if NY State AG Confirms the Allegations Against Him…Remember Tara Reade?

untitled (313)

Biden gets away with exactly what Cuomo is accused of. – Tara Reade, Twitter, 3/16/21

Newsmax.com reports that

President Joe Biden said Tuesday New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign if the state attorney general’s investigation confirms the sexual harassment allegations against him.

Biden made the remarks in an interview with ABC News that is scheduled to air Wednesday morning. When asked by anchor George Stephanopoulos if the investigation confirms the claims of the women, should Cuomo resign, Biden said “yes,” adding, “I think he’d probably end up being prosecuted, too.”

“It takes a lot of courage to come forward so the presumption is it should be taken seriously,” Biden said. “And it should be investigated, and that’s what’s underway now.”

Cuomo is facing allegations that he sexually harassed or behaved inappropriately toward multiple women, including several former staffers. He has denied touching any women inappropriately.

The three-term governor has rejected calls for his resignation from fellow Democrats, including New York’s two U.S. senators, Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, and has asked New Yorkers to await the results of an investigation headed by state Attorney General Letitia James.

Biden is being very careful about what he says about Andrew Cuomo’s “problem”.

We have all seen the pictures and have heard stories about his behavior toward women.

For example, last March, FoxNews.com reported that

A number of Democratic presidential candidates weighed in on Sunday on the allegations made by a former Nevada political candidate that former Vice President Joe Biden kissed her on the back of the head in 2014.

…Flores made the accusations in a piece in New York magazine in which she accused the former vice president of approaching her from behind, putting his hands on her shoulders, sniffing her hair and kissing her on the back of the head.

Biden Judged Thomas and Kavanaugh Guilty, Refuses to Call For Cuomo to Resign, Hey…Anybody Remember Tara Reade?

See the source image

FoxNews.com reports that

President Joe Biden broke his silence on Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s mounting allegations of sexual misconduct on Sunday – but fell short of calling on the embattled New York Democrat to resign.

The president and longtime Cuomo acquaintance finally addressed the scandal in an unscheduled question-answer session from the White House South Lawn after several Democrats joined the growing chorus of lawmakers who have demanded the governor’s resignation following the seventh allegation of sexual misconduct.

When asked whether he agreed with other Democrats calling for Cuomo’s immediate resignation, Biden said plainly, “I think the investigation is underway and we should see what it brings us.”

With the exception of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Biden’s wait-and-see approach is not a common sentiment within his own party. New York Democratic Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer joined New York Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jerry Nadler on Friday in calling for their state’s governor to leave his position as allegations of inappropriate conduct continue to emerge.

Pelosi on Sunday reaffirmed that she has “zero tolerance” for sexual harassment – but refused to echo their calls for his resignation until an investigation is completed.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is investigating harassment allegations, and Cuomo has said he will “fully cooperate” with her probe, but expressed no plans to resign. A defiant Cuomo addressed the allegations during a press call on Friday afternoon, insisting that he “did not do what has been alleged.”

Despite this, nearly 90% of New York’s congressional delegation has called for the governor’s resignation or impeachment, as have more than 80% of state senators. Last week, the state Assembly initiated what could be the first step toward impeachment by opening an investigation with full subpoena power into sexual misconduct allegations against the governor and his handling of COVID-19 at nursing homes.

Biden’s weeks-long silence surrounding the scandal came under question over the weekend by former Cuomo aide and first accuser Lindsey Boylan, who called out the president and vice-president in a since-deleted tweet for refusing to publicly address the mounting allegations.

Back in September of 2018, during the Kavanaugh Hearings, BIden appeared to believe differently when asked about whether the Senate should go ahead and seat Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court…

A spokesperson for Biden said earlier Monday that the former vice president believes votes on Kavanaugh’s nomination should be postponed after California professor Christine Blasey Ford accused the judge of physically and sexually assaulting her at a party during their high school years. Kavanaugh denies the allegation.

“Vice President Biden believes Professor Ford deserves a fair and respectful hearing of her allegations, and that the committee should undertake a thorough and nonpartisan effort to get to the truth, wherever it leads,” the spokesperson said. “He believes the vote should be postponed to allow this to happen appropriately, because this is an appointment for life to the nation’s highest court, and getting the decision right is more important than getting it done on a rushed timeline.”

“Hands-On” Governor of NY Accused by Aide of Groping Her in His Residence…That ‘s Number 6! Can you Say “Impeach”?

Cuomo Woman

Newsmax.com reports that

An aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says he groped her in the governor’s residence, a newspaper reported Wednesday, in the most serious allegation made yet by a series of women against the embattled Democrat.

The Times Union of Albany reported that the woman, who it did not name, was alone with Cuomo late last year when he closed the door, reached under her shirt and fondled her. The newspaper’s reporting is based on an unidentified source with direct knowledge of the woman’s accusation. The governor had summoned her to the Executive Mansion in Albany, saying he needed help with his cellphone, the newspaper reported.

“I have never done anything like this,” Cuomo said through a spokesperson Wednesday evening.

“The details of this report are gut-wrenching,” Cuomo said, adding that he would not speak to the specifics of this or any other allegation, given an ongoing investigation overseen by the state attorney general.

The three-term governor faces harassment allegations from several other women and increasingly urgent calls for his resignation or impeachment from at least some fellow Democrats. Cuomo has repeatedly said he won’t resign.

“He’s openly said he will not resign. And with further mounting allegations that are deeply credible, we are in a position now where I think we should impeach,” said Assembly member Jessica González-Rojas, a Democrat who had previously pushed for his resignation.

The woman whose account was reported by the Times Union said Cuomo had touched her and made flirtatious comments on multiple occasions. According to the newspaper, her allegations came to light as Cuomo staffers watched the governor’s March 3 news conference, his first after a new round of sexual harassment claims made in late February.

In it, he denied ever touching a woman inappropriately. The aide subsequently became emotional, and told a female supervisor who approached her about her encounters with the governor. At least one supervisor reported the allegation to an attorney in the governor’s office Monday, the newspaper reported.

Prior to Wednesday’s report, the allegations against Cuomo include a combination of claims that he made the workplace an

Not only is Governor Cuomo a horn-dog and a liar, he is also a world class hypocrite.

TheHill.com reported on January 8th that

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Friday became the latest political leader to call for President Trump to resign after a pro-Trump mob raided the Capitol on Wednesday.

“I call on President Trump to resign,” Cuomo wrote on Twitter. “If he refuses, I call for impeachment.”

In a press conference, the governor voiced support for Trump’s resignation or possible impeachment, adding that he calls on “every New York federal elected official to call for President Trump’s immediate resignation.”

“Put principle over party. There’s no elected official that can look in the mirror and say ‘I condone what happened. I condone what the president did,’ ” he added, according to CBS’s Rochester-affiliate station, WROC-TV.

If the Governor of New York was a Republican instead of a Democrat, he would already have been impeached over the COVID-19 Nursing Home Deaths.

Cuomo was raised in a life of privilege and wealth, a product of New York politics.

Like a lot of wealthy and privileged men, it appears that he viewed the young women around him as “playthings” to be used and discarded, meant to be added to his trophy case.

After all, being the son of the Former Governor of New York, Mario Cuomo, does have its perks.

He was a media darling, always in front of the camers.

So, when the pandemic hit, he decided to do a daily update, as if he were the President of the United States of America.

His “leadership” was praised by the Main Stream Media, some calling for him to run for President.

Like the other Democrats, Never Trumpers, and the Main Stream Media, Cuomo in his never-ending quest to find a camera to mug at and a microphone to use to gain national attention, decided that he wanted to join in the chorus to impeach a President who was no longer in office.

And now, that cry for impeaching Trump a second time has boomeranged back on him.

In the Holy Bible’s book of Proverbs, you will find a scripture which warns

“Pride goeth before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall.” – Proverbs 16:18

Methinks, we have found another poster boy for that scripture.

Governors Announce That Their States are “Open for Business” as Covid-19 Cases Drop by Over 70%

Image

Newsmax.com reports that

Texas on Tuesday became the biggest state to lift its mask rule, joining a rapidly growing movement by governors and other leaders across the U.S. to loosen COVID-19 restrictions despite pleas from health officials not to let their guard down yet.

The Lone Star State will also do away with limits on the number of diners who can be served indoors, said Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who made the announcement at a restaurant in Lubbock.

The governors of Michigan, Mississippi and Louisiana likewise eased up on bars, restaurants and other businesses Tuesday, as did the mayor of San Francisco.

“Removing statewide mandates does not end personal responsibility,” said Abbott, speaking from a crowded dining room where many of those surrounding him were not wearing masks. “It’s just that now state mandates are no longer needed.”

A year into the crisis, politicians and ordinary Americans alike have grown tired of rules meant to stem the spread of the coronavirus, which has killed over a half-million people in the United States. Some places are lifting infection control measures; in other places, people are ignoring them.

Top health officials, including the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, have responded by begging people repeatedly not to risk another deadly wave of contagion just when the nation is making progress in vaccinating people and victory over the outbreak is in sight.

U.S. cases have plunged more than 70% over the past two months from an average of nearly 250,000 new infections a day, while average deaths per day have plummeted about 40% since mid-January.

But the two curves have leveled off abruptly in the past several days and have even risen slightly, and the numbers are still running at alarmingly high levels, with an average of about 2,000 deaths and 68,000 cases per day. Health officials are increasingly worried about virus mutations.

“We stand to completely lose the hard-earned ground we have gained,” CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky warned on Monday.

Even so, many Americans are sick of the shutdowns that have damaged their livelihoods and are eager to socialize again.

Amen.

I am happy to say that my state, Mississippi, is one of those who are throwing off their lockdown chains.

While actually being able to speak to someone without being muffled by a mask and being able to see the person whom you are speaking with smile will be wonderful, Gov. Abbott is right, common sense and some precautions in the name of personal responsibility must still prevail.

Trust me. My wife and I were severely ill for a month with COVID-19.

I would not wish it on anyone…even Biden’s Handlers.

As states begin to shake off the yoke of the Chinese Coronavirus, look for the Blue States to be the last to allow their residents to go back to living their normal lives.

The reason for that is obvious: A bunch of Democrat Governors in the Blue States, in their unfettered zeal to exercise unabridged control over the daily lives of the “common” people in their state, exceeded the powers of their office and did stupid and downright ignorant things, like putting those stricken with the illness in Nursing Homes, like Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York did.

These Democrats fear the repercussions for their Executive Overreach.

It is hard to believe that it has only been a year since the “WuFlu” “accidently” escaped the confines of the Institute of Virology in Wuhan Province.

It feels like an eternity,

Americans have lost family members, gotten extremely sick, and have lost income because of COVID-19.

The Democrats turned the “Plague” into an excuse to change state rules for voting in a national election, leading to the election of an 78-year old man suffering from dementia as the President of the United States of America.

And now, the Democrats in Congress are fighting to make those “changes” permanent.

I am glad that the Chinese Coronavirus appears to be on the way out.

Average Americans are going to need all of the strength and conviction which we can muster to fight against the fascist tyranny which the Democrats sitting in the Halls of Power in Washington, D. C. have planned to pass as laws in the next four years.

Gird your loins.

Why the Supreme Court’s Ruling Against NY Governor Andrew Cuomo’s COVID-19 Church Restrictions Was Important for America

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.- President Ronald Reagan

ChristianPost.com reported that

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo called Wednesday’s Supreme Court ruling favoring religious organizations in a dispute over COVID-19 restrictions, “irrelevant” and not “final” while arguing that the decision is really more of a statement on the court’s new conservative bent.

“They wanted to make a statement that it’s a different court. That’s the statement they’re making, I understand that. And that’s to be expected,” Cuomo said during a Thanksgiving Day call, alluding to the impact of the recent addition of Justice Amy Coney Barrett on the bench without calling her by name.

“We know who we appointed to the court. We know their ideology. It’s irrelevant from a practical impact because the zone that they were talking about has already been moved. It expired last week. I think this was really just an opportunity for the court to express its philosophy and politics,” he said.

In a 5-4 ruling Wednesday the high court temporarily blocked New York’s COVID-19 restrictions on houses of worship, arguing that they “strike at the very heart of the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious liberty.”

The court said that the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and Agudath Israel of America are likely to succeed in their arguments that the restrictions violate the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment and that they would cause irreparable harm. The groups had sued Cuomo over his executive order limiting worship gatherings to 10 people for those in red zones and 25 for those in orange zones.

Cuomo argued on Thursday that the dispute isn’t settled.

“The decision isn’t final in the first place right. It goes back to the Second Circuit Appeals Court so it’s not even a final legal position. Second, it didn’t affect our mass gathering rules that 25%, 33 etc. So it didn’t mention those. It didn’t mention the overall limits. I think the basic point is you know why does the court rule on an issue that is moot unless — and which they had just decided several months before in other cases which presented the same argument — why rule on a case that is moot and come up with a different decision than you did several months ago on the same issue? You have a different court and I think that was the statement that the court was making,” he argued.

He further noted that while he values the role of the church in society, there is also a need to protect public health amid the pandemic.

“In terms of religious gatherings, look, I’m a former altar boy. Catholic grammar school, Catholic high school, Jesuit college. So I fully respect religion and if there’s a time in life when we need it, the time is now, but we want to make sure we keep people safe at the same time. That’s the balance we’re trying to hit, especially through this holiday season and the coming Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, etc. celebrations,” he said.

In support of the court’s decision, Justice Neil Gorsuch noted that religious groups are treated differently from secular entities. He wrote in his opinion: “It is time – past time – to make plain that, while the pandemic poses many grave challenges, there is no world in which the Constitution tolerates color-coded executive edicts that reopen liquor stores and bike shops but shutter churches, synagogues, and mosques.”

The Thomas More Society, which has been fighting COVID-19 restrictions on religion across the nation, including the ongoing lawsuit against Cuomo on behalf of Catholic and Orthodox Jewish worshipers, praised the recent Supreme Court decision.

“The Supreme Court has made it clear that governors can no longer use a public health emergency as a pretext for dictates shutting or severely restricting the use of houses of worship while secular businesses and activities they deem ‘essential’ — and even certain favored ‘non-essential’ secular businesses and activities — are not subjected to the same draconian restrictions. What is considered ‘safe’ for grocery stores, liquor stores and massage parlors, must be considered safe for churches and synagogues,” Thomas More Society Special Counsel Christopher Ferrara said in a statement to The Christian Post.

“The Court has also ended reliance on the outdated Jacobson decision, a 115-year-old anachronism, which over the past eight months has morphed into a kind of super-precedent for any sort of restriction on constitutional freedoms governors feel like imposing during a public health crisis. Religious liberty has been rescued from the brink of extinction in the name of COVID-19, a virus with a 99.8% survival rate,” he added.

The Conservative Majority serving in the Supreme Court are absolutely right.

CHURCHES ARE ESSENTIAL.

Christianity has played a predominant role in the building of our nation. In fact, the Capitol building itself was used for church services, even before Congress moved into the building, and continued to be used for Sunday Church Services until well after the Civil War.

The approval of the Capitol for church was given by both the House and the Senate on December 4, 1800, with House approval being given by Speaker of the House, Theodore Sedgwick, and Senate approval being given by the President of the Senate, Thomas Jefferson, whose approval came while he was still officially the Vice- President but after he had just been elected President.

According to David Barton at wallbuilders.com:

Jefferson attended church at the Capitol while he was Vice President 5 and also throughout his presidency. The first Capitol church service that Jefferson attended as President was a service preached by Jefferson’s friend, the Rev. John Leland, on January 3, 1802. 6 Significantly, Jefferson attended that Capitol church service just two days after he penned his famous letter containing the “wall of separation between church and state” metaphor.

U. S. Rep. Manasseh Cutler, who also attended church at the Capitol, recorded in his own diary that “He [Jefferson] and his family have constantly attended public worship in the Hall.” Mary Bayard Smith, another attendee at the Capitol services, confirmed: “Mr. Jefferson, during his whole administration, was a most regular attendant.” She noted that Jefferson even had a designated seat at the Capitol church: “The seat he chose the first Sabbath, and the adjoining one (which his private secretary occupied), were ever afterwards by the courtesy of the congregation, left for him and his secretary.” Jefferson was so committed to those services that he would not even allow inclement weather to dissuade him; as Rep. Cutler noted: “It was very rainy, but his [Jefferson’s] ardent zeal brought him through the rain and on horseback to the Hall.” Other diary entries confirm Jefferson’s attendance in spite of bad weather.

…Jefferson was not the only President to attend church at the Capitol. His successor, James Madison, also attended church at the Capitol. 14 However, there was a difference in the way the two arrived for services. Observers noted that Jefferson arrived at church on horseback 15 (it was 1.6 miles from the White House to the Capitol). However, Madison arrived for church in a coach and four. In fact, British diplomat Augustus Foster, who attended services at the Capitol, gave an eloquent description of President Madison arriving at the Capitol for church in a carriage drawn by four white horses.

The series of cacophonous thuds you just heard were the “I’m-smarter than-you” Atheists from both sides of the aisle, falling off their chairs.  You see, they (all 8% of them) will argue until they are blue in the face that Jefferson and Madison were not Christians, and our founding documents were not based on a Judeo-Christian system of beliefs.

Then, they go out to feed the unicorn in their backyard.

Jefferson told his friend, William Bradford (who served as Attorney General under President Washington), to make sure of his own spiritual salvation:

[A] watchful eye must be kept on ourselves lest, while we are building ideal monuments of renown and bliss here, we neglect to have our names enrolled in the Annals of Heaven.

Concerning Christianity, Jefferson said:

The doctrines of Jesus are simple, and tend all to the happiness of man.

The practice of morality being necessary for the well being of society, He [God] has taken care to impress its precepts so indelibly on our hearts that they shall not be effaced by the subtleties of our brain. We all agree in the obligation of the moral principles of Jesus and nowhere will they be found delivered in greater purity than in His discourses.

I am a Christian in the only sense in which He wished anyone to be: sincerely attached to His doctrines in preference to all others.

I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

But, what about Jefferson’s re-writing of the Bible, leaving out Jesus’ miracles, you ask? David Barton answered that question in 2001, in a letter to a newspaper, in response to a reader:

The reader, as do many others, claimed that Jefferson omitted all miraculous events of Jesus from his “Bible.” Rarely do those who make this claim let Jefferson speak for himself. Jefferson’s own words explain that his intent for that book was not for it to be a “Bible,” but rather for it to be a primer for the Indians on the teachings of Christ (which is why Jefferson titled that work, “The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth”). What Jefferson did was to take the “red letter” portions of the New Testament and publish these teachings in order to introduce the Indians to Christian morality. And as President of the United States, Jefferson signed a treaty with the Kaskaskia tribe wherein he provided—at the government’s expense—Christian missionaries to the Indians. In fact, Jefferson himself declared, “I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus.” While many might question this claim, the fact remains that Jefferson called himself a Christian, not a deist.

The other Founding Father whom Atheists claim was one of them is James Madison.

Per David Barton:

James Madison trained for ministry with the Rev. Dr. John Witherspoon, and Madison’s writings are replete with declarations of his faith in God and in Christ. In fact, for proof of this, one only need read his letter to Attorney General Bradford wherein Madison laments that public officials are not bold enough about their Christian faith in public and that public officials should be “fervent advocates in the cause of Christ.” And while Madison did allude to a “wall of separation,” contemporary writers frequently refuse to allow Madison to provide his own definition of that “wall.” According to Madison, the purpose of that “wall” was only to prevent Congress from passing a national law to establish a national religion.

Also, as this writing shows, Madison wanted all public officials – including Bradford – to be unashamed concerning their Christian beliefs and testimony:

I have sometimes thought there could not be a stronger testimony in favor of religion or against temporal enjoyments, even the most rational and manly, than for men who occupy the most honorable and gainful departments and [who] are rising in reputation and wealth, publicly to declare their unsatisfactoriness by becoming fervent advocates in the cause of Christ; and I wish you may give in your evidence in this way.

Did you know that Madison was a member of the committee that authored the 1776 Virginia Bill of Rights and approved of its clause declaring that:

It is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other.  ?

And, per Barton, Madison’s proposed wording for the First Amendment demonstrates that he opposed only the establishment of a federal denomination, not public religious activities.  The proposal reads:

The civil rights of none shall be abridged on account of religious belief or worship, nor shall any national religion be established.

But, wait.  There’s more:

In 1789, Madison served on the Congressional committee which authorized, approved, and selected paid Congressional chaplains.

In 1812, President Madison signed a federal bill which economically aided a Bible Society in its goal of the mass distribution of the Bible.

Finally, throughout his Presidency (1809-1816), Madison endorsed public and official religious expressions by issuing several proclamations for national days of prayer, fasting, and thanksgiving.

So, if you run into one of those individuals who, like NY Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Communist Mayor of New York City, BIll di Blasio, when it comes to accepting the Faith of our Founding Fathers, proves that denial is not just a river in Egypt, you can respond with one or all of three things:

1.  Quote from this article.

2.  Give him/her this link to wallbuilders.com.

3.  Show them this excellent video, in which David Barton conducts a historical tour of the Capitol Building.

God Bless America!

We must keep our Churches strong and vibrant.

Cuomo Calls De Blasio’s Response to NYC Crisis a “Disgrace” as Looting and Rioting Continues

Untitled-7-1-1000x600

FoxNews.com reports that

Tense moments followed New York City’s 8 p.m. curfew Tuesday night after authorities took measures to reduce violence, vandalism and looting after days of protests.

City leaders had braced for another night of demonstrations, bolstering their presence and enforcing an even earlier curfew than the one implemented Monday.

The city, like others around the country, has been racked by protests over the death of George Floyd, which happened in Minneapolis on May 25 while he was in police custody.

In an effort to slow the violence, authorities moved city’s curfew to 8 p.m. and warned residents that only buses, delivery trucks and the vehicles of essential workers will be allowed south of 96th Street after that time. The NYPD also canceled regular days off for “all full duty uniformed members,” according to a police memo.

As part of the enhanced measures, police installed checkpoints on the streets to block unauthorized vehicles. In some places, even as protesters continued to march after the curfew, there was relative calm. But evidence of vandalism was once again visible in some parts of the city.

With less than a half hour until curfew time, thousands of protesters made their way toward Trump Tower in Manhattan. Fox News’ Bryan Llenas, who was reporting from the sidelines of the protest, shared videos of the scenes on Twitter.

They showed a heavy police presence with uniformed officers and steel fencing installed in an effort to minimize looting and violence.

“So far in NYC, it is a completely different night,” than the night before, he tweeted at 8:40.

But Fox News’ Marta Dhanis saw arrests in the city’s SoHo neighborhood and broken windows at a Manhattan Gap store.

And across the East River, as a crowd of protesters in Brooklyn approached the Manhattan Bridge at around 8:30 p.m., police blocked them off, as seen in a photo taken by Fox News science editor James Rogers.

A day earlier, protests raged — turning violent in some places with reports of looting, vandalism and even attacks on police officers. Since Saturday, the NYPD had reported about 500 burglary arrests.

“Each day, our officers leave their own families and homes to protect yours, while being shot at, having Molotov cocktails thrown into their vehicles and getting intentionally struck by cars,” NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea tweeted Tuesday. “They put their very lives on the line to fulfill the oath they took to ensure public safety.”

He was referring to an incident in which protesters allegedly hurled a Molotov cocktail into an NYPD vehicle.

Other confrontations over the past few days have involved officers being struck by hit-and-run drivers and being pelted with objects ranging from water bottles to bricks.

“I’ve got to be honest. I can’t take it. It’s so, so bad,” said Pat Brosnan, a former NYPD detective, speaking with Ed Henry on “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday.

A video shared on the Sergeants Benevolent Association’s (SBA’s) official Twitter account showed an NYPD officer being beaten by a group of men in the Bronx as onlookers shout profanities.

Critics of the city’s handling of the protests have excoriated Mayor Bill de Blasio as city officials and police try to restore the peace.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a fellow Democrat, called de Blasio’s response to the crisis a “disgrace” on Tuesday, after police said they arrested about 700 protesters overnight following the first curfew in decades, which began at 11 p.m.

He also said that de Blasio had refused assistance from the National Guard, which the mayor said would be unnecessary.

“We do not need, nor do we think it is wise for the National Guard to be in New York City. Nor any armed forces,” he told a reporter Tuesday. “When outside armed forces go into communities, no good comes of it.”

In a video posted to the New York City Police Benevolent Association’s Twitter, PBA President Patrick Lynch called on the mayor to give police officers more support and allow them to do their jobs.

“Roving gangs running up and down the street, under the guise of protests — when it’s 12 o’clock at night, it’s not a protest, it’s a riot — it’s looting,” he said. “The mayor has to say now, ‘It stops today.'”

President Trump, addressing the protests, wrote on Twitter that New York City “was ripped to pieces.”

Protesters were already out in force early Tuesday evening, marching and chanting slogans ranging from “Hands up, don’t shoot” to anti-police slurs.

Within two hours of the 8 p.m. curfew, thousands of peaceful protesters gathered in Manhattan’s Bryant Park. They eventually took a turn toward Trump Tower, which police and Secret Service officers had barricaded off, before some in the crowd began dispersing.

Mayor De Blasio must believe that his constituency and the rest of Americans have a short memory regarding how he has treated “New York’s Finest” in the past.

The New York Post reported on January 3, 2015 that

Thousands of NYPD cops turned their backs on Mayor de Blasio on Sunday outside a Brooklyn funeral home as he eulogized a murdered NYPD officer inside.

As de Blasio addressed the loved ones of Detective Wenjian Liu in the Aievoli Funeral Home in Bensonhurst, the sea of blue watching the funeral on huge TV screens outside showed their disgust for Hizzoner by turning around as he spoke.

Cops have been furious with de Blasio mainly since the grand-jury rulings involving the deaths of Staten Island dad Eric Garner and Missouri teen Michael Brown, two unarmed black men who died during confrontations with white cops. Neither cop was criminally charged.

The mayor said afterward that he worries about how his son, Dante, who is half-black, might be treated by police because of his race.

The cops say de Blasio’s comment is just another instance in which he has added to the anti-cop sentiment in the city.

Liu and Officer Rafael Ramos were sitting in their patrol car in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Dec. 20 when deranged, cop-hating killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley came up from behind to execute them. Brinsley committed suicide before cops could catch him.

Officers first turned their backs to de Blasio when he visited the hospital where Ramos and Liu were treated. They then also turned turned their backs to him outside the church where Ramos’ funeral was held Dec. 27.

NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton asked officers not to repeat that silent protest at Liu’s funeral Sunday.

De Blasio, for all of his Marxist Bravado and self- promoting propaganda, is the worst mayor in the history of the Big Apple, eclipsing even the ineffectual David Dinkins.

The city is filthy and now professional anarchists and Antifa thugs, as exhibited over the last week, are being allowed to taunt and disrespect the NYPD while they riot and loot the city, while it is all being caught on cellphones, much to the delight of the rest of the cop-hating trash in the neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, those who can afford to “Escape From New York” are continuing to get the heck out of Dodge due to an exorbitant tax rate, hitting both businesses and individuals alike.

Great legacy you’re building there, Mr. Mayor.

And, what is President Trump’s “New York Legacy”?

According to Steve Cuozzo, in an article written for the New York Post on February 7, 2016…

…Trump doesn’t get enough credit for being a transformative planner who is in love with the city. No matter how many times they watch “Taxi Driver,” younger New Yorkers and older ones who arrived recently have no idea of what the city was actually like in the mid-1970s through the mid-’90s. Notwithstanding Studio 54 and a short-lived Wall Street boom, the metropolis was reeling. Rampant street crime, AIDS, corporate flight and physical decay brought confidence to an all-time low.

Trump waded into a landscape of empty Fifth Avenue storefronts, the dust-bowl mugging ground that was Central Park and a Wall Street area seemingly on its last legs as companies moved out.

Except in Battery Park City, which was then as remote as an offshore island, few other developers built anything but plain-vanilla office and apartment buildings. Trump — almost by force of will — rode to the rescue. Expressing rare faith in the future, he was instrumental in kick-starting the regeneration of neighborhoods and landmarks almost given up for dead.

So, like all Marxist Political Leaders, De Blasio is a destroyer, gaining wealth and fame, while the citizens or “proletariat” suffer.

On the other hand, while he was a New York Businessman and Entrepreneur, Donald J. Trump was a builder, making the city he lived and worked in better for his fellow citizens, providing employment and making the city more beautiful while he was at it.

And, that gentle readers, is the difference between Far Left Democratic Politicians like Mayor Bill De Blasio and President Donald J. Trump.

De Blasio promises Utopia but delivers decay, decadence, and pandering to the worst elements in our society..

Trump promises hard work and greatness…

…and delivers.

De Blasio should accept President Trump’s help while he still has a city left to be mayor of.

Until He Comes,
