During Veterans’ Forum, Hillary Conveniently “Forgets” Benghazi and 4 Dead Americans

th85xg4ihk Last night, Democratic Party Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that American Lives lost as a result of her failed policies as Secretary of State truly do not “make a difference” to her.

The Washington Times reports that

Glossing over the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi that claimed the lives of four U.S. diplomats, Hillary Clinton on Wednesday night claimed that “we did not lose a single American” due to military intervention in Libya.

Speaking at a veterans’ forum hosted by NBC News, the former secretary of state said she stands by the 2011 decision to take action in Libya and that America suffered no casualties.

“When [former Libyan leader Moammar] Gadhafi was threatening to massacre his population, I put together a coalition that included NATO, included the Arab League, and we were able to save lives. We did not lose a single American in that action,” she said. “And I think taking action was the right decision. Not taking it and permitting there to be an ongoing civil war in Libya would’ve been as dangerous and threatening as what we are now seeing in Syria.”

No Americans were lost in the military intervention itself, but the aftermath was a far different story. Four Americans were killed when the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was attacked by terrorists on Sept. 11, 2012, and Mrs. Clinton has come under intense fire for not taking greater security precautions for her diplomats.

Mrs. Clinton’s opponent in the 2016 presidential race, Republican Donald Trump, said the Obama administration badly mishandled the aftermath of the Libyan military intervention.

“They complicated the mistake, once they bombed the you-know-what out of Gadhafi. They made a terrible mistake on Libya,” he said at the NBC forum.

On September 11, 2012, Muslim Terrorists stormed the US Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya, slaughtered 4 brave Americans, including US Ambassador Chris Stephens, whose lifeless, sexually assaulted body they drug through the streets, while taking cell phone pictures of his corpse.

I have written several blogs about the Administration’s Cover-up of this atrocity, but the seminal moment, regarding Hillary Clinton, came in January of 2013, during an exchange between her and Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin at a Foreign Relations Committee hearing.

Johnson asked her about the administration’s conflicting explanations for the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which killed the ambassador and three other Americans. Hillary, as we say down here in Dixie, “got on her high keys” and said,

With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator.

Regardless of what the Democratic Presidential Candidate proclaimed in front of a sub-committee, what happened at a remote Embassy Compound in Libya DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

We have learned a lot of things since the Benghazi Massacre.

On October 27th, 2012, I reported that

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to “stand down,” according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to “stand down.”

Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.

CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood, [on orders from General Petraeus] though, denied the claims that requests for support were turned down.

“We can say with confidence that the Agency reacted quickly to aid our colleagues during that terrible evening in Benghazi,” she said. “Moreover, no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. In fact, it is important to remember how many lives were saved by courageous Americans who put their own safety at risk that night-and that some of those selfless Americans gave their lives in the effort to rescue their comrades.”

That means that the order to stand down had to come from Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and/or President Barack Hussein Obama. [or Valerie Jarrett]

We also learned on October 26, 2012, that there were two drones circling overhead, as four brave Americans were being slaughtered. Obama and his Administration knew exactly what was happening, yet, for the sake of political expediency, chose to do nothing about it.

What Hillary’s appearance before the Benghazi Hearings showed, was a pathological predilection for dishonesty, insincerity, and inappropriateness, not only on the part of Former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, but the whole Obama Administration, as well, from the top on down.

They all knew that the cause of the attacks was not some stupid Youtube Video, but a full-blown Muslim Terrorist Attack.

However, for the sake of Political Expediency…and the re-election of President Barack Hussein Obama and the legacy of his rapidly failing Foreign Policy, known as Smart Power!, they had to quickly come up with an excuse for their liability in the deaths of those four brave Americans.

The words “reckless handling” do not even begin to cover the callous, Machiavellian way that Hillary Clinton and her boss, President Barack Hussein Obama, left those Americans to die at the hands of Muslim Barbarians that fateful evening at the U.S. Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya, for the sake of political expediency.

So, why do the deaths of these four Americans “still matter” in the midst of Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Campaign?

As I finish writing today’s post, I my mind considers the possibility of Hillary Clinton becoming the Leader of the Free World, and a great many thoughts enter my head…some of them even repeatable.

I remember the image of a lone terrorist, brandishing a machine gun, standing in front of the burning Benghazi Consulate.

I also remember the image of Benghazi Barbarians dragging a murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens through the streets, taking pictures every few yards, with their cell phones.

My mind envisions the image of two brave Americans, up on a roof holding off 100 Muslim Terrorists, trying desperately to hold out for help which was denied to them, until finally the overwhelming numbers which comprised the horde of barbarians, murdered them as well.

I imagine Ambassador Stevens’ elderly mother, making the trip from the West Coast to the East Coast to pick up the lifeless body of her abused and murdered son, whom she and her entire family were so proud of.

Finally, I remember the show of hypocrisy involving members of this anti-American Administration solemnly welcoming the bodies of those brave Americans home.

Former Secretary Clinton…the truth makes a big difference…to the families of those that were so savagely murdered that fateful night…and to the millions of Americans who still believe in this “Shining City on a Hill”.

We average Americans know the truth, which is why the Main Stream Media is currently running an unprecedented offensive against Republican Candidate Donald J. Trump, while ignoring the fact that you are unfit for holding the Office of President of the United States of America.

In fact, given the fact that you left those Americans to die, you should be ashamed to be running for President of the United States of America.

But, of course, their deaths do not matter to you, because “it’s YOUR turn”.

The Shot Heard “‘Round the Conservative World”: Levin to Vote for Trump! (A KJ Analysis)

I think this is a binary election — at least for the country — that either Trump or Clinton will be president of the United States. I happen to think despite the CNN poll and so forth there is a lot of work to do to make up ground, particularly in battleground states. But Hillary is so awful I just don’t know. I’m not in the prediction business so it doesn’t matter.

So I’m going to vote for Donald Trump. I’m going to wind up voting for Donald Trump on election day. I take no responsibility for the dumb things he says or the dumb things his surrogates say. Just as I took no responsibility for the dumb things any candidate I vote for says whether it’s Congress, Senate, Supervisor, states attorney, other presidential candidates. I don’t control any of these people. I don’t run their campaigns and I don’t advise them. (The Mark Levin Show, September 6, 2016)

That announcement, boys and girls, was “the shot heard ’round the Conservative World”.

During this Presidential Campaign, I have lost friends and have watched longstanding Facebook Political Pages torn asunder over the candidacy of Billionaire Businessman, Entrepreneur, and Citizen Statesman Donald J. Trump.

So, excuse me if I take a bit of satisfaction over Mark Levin, for so long a spokesman for the “#NeverTrumpers” , finally admitting the obvious:

There are only two viable candidates left in November’s Presidential Election…and if you do not want Hillary Clinton to become the President of the United States of America, you must vote for Donald J. Trump!

The movement to elect Donald J. Trump as the next President of the United States of America defies “the rules” of Modern American Politics, just as the candidate himself does.

If Trump had “played by the rules”, regarding upholding the Washingtonian Status Quo, he would not be the 2016 Republican Presidential Candidate and would not be current ahead in the polls.

From the day that he announced his candidacy, he has been fighting not only those on the Democrat Side of the aisle, who are determined to make the Queen of Mean, Hillary Clinton, our next President, but, also those Republicans, and self-proclaimed “True Conservatives”, who want to keep Trump from becoming President of the United States of America at all costs, even if it means sacrificing our children’s and grandchildren’s future to do it.

Chief among those and “leading the charge”, if you will, has been self-proclaimed “Libertarian” Glenn Beck, who, over the past few years, has transitioned from being an insightful political analyst with Conservative Leanings, to being a Modern Day Elmer Gantry, with a bit of Lonesome Rhodes thrown in for good measure.

For those of you who are not Classic Movie Buffs, please allow me to introduce you to these two “gentlemen”.

“Elmer Gantry”- Elmer Gantry (Burt Lancaster), a drunken, dishonest street preacher allegedly patterned on Billy Sunday, wrangles a job with the travelling tent ministry conducted by Sister Sharon Falconer (Jean Simmons). Thanks to Gantry’s enthusiastic hellfire-and-brimstone sermons, Sister Sharon’s operation rises to fame and fortune, enough so that Sharon realizes her dream of building her own enormous tabernacle. These ambitions are put in jeopardy when a prostitute (Oscar-winning Shirley Jones), a former minister’s daughter who’d been deflowered by Gantry years earlier, lures Gantry into a compromising situation and has photographs taken. It took several years for any Hollywood studio to take a chance with Sinclair Lewis’ novel, and when it finally did arrive on the screen, producer/director Richard Brooks was compelled to downplay some of the more “sacrilegious” passages in the original. Also appearing in Elmer Gantry are Arthur Kennedy as an H.L. Mencken-style atheistic journalist, and Edward Andrews as George Babbitt, a character borrowed from another Sinclair Lewis novel. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovimore

“A Face in the Crowd” – Andy Griffith makes a spectacular film debut in this searing drama as Lonesome Rhodes, a philosophical country-western singer discovered in a tanktown jail by radio talent scout Patricia Neal and her assistant Walter Matthau. They decide that Rhodes is worthy of a radio spot, but the unforeseen result is that the gangly, aw-shucks entertainer becomes an overnight sensation not simply on radio but, thereafter, on television. As he ascends to stardom, Rhodes attracts fans, sponsors and endorsements by the carload, and soon he is the most powerful and influential entertainer on the airwaves. Beloved by his audience, Rhodes reveals himself to his intimates as a scheming, power-hungry manipulator, with Machiavellian political aspirations. He uses everyone around him, coldly discarding anyone who might impede his climb to the top (one such victim is sexy baton-twirler Lee Remick, likewise making her film debut). Just when it seems that there’s no stopping Rhodes’ megalomania, his mentor and ex-lover Neal exposes this Idol of Millions as the rat that he is. She arranges to switch on the audio during the closing credits of Rhodes’ TV program, allowing the whole nation to hear the grinning, waving Rhodes characterize them as “suckers” and “stupid idiots.” Instantly, Rhodes’ popularity rating plummets to zero. As he drunkenly wanders around his penthouse apartment, still not fully comprehending what has happened to him, Rhodes is deserted by the very associates who, hours earlier, were willing to ask “how high?” when he yelled “jump”. Written by Budd Schulberg, Face in the Crowd was not a success, possibly because it hit so close to home with idol-worshipping TV fans. Its reputation has grown in the intervening years, not only because of its value as a film but because of the novelty of seeing the traditionally easygoing Andy Griffith as so vicious and manipulative a character as Lonesome Rhodes.

Regardless of what some of the remaining “#NeverTrumpers” believe, I am still a Christian American Conservative.

However, among the gifts which God has graciously given me, is the gift of discernment.

When something “just doesn’t seem right”, that still small voice cause my ears to perk up, like a dog smelling bacon frying in the kitchen.

My time as a Collegiate Radio News Director from 1978-1980, along with my journalism courses, taught me how to perform reseach and get to the bottom of an event or a situation, which has piqued my attention.

And, to top all of that, to risk being rude, that before-mentioned gift, has also allowed me to recognize a bunch of BS when I hear it or read it.

These things have led me to discern that Glenn Beck has become crazier than an Outhouse Rat. (That’s a Southern Colloquialism for meshuga, y’all.)

I can remember when The Glenn Beck Program first came on in the Memphis Radio Market.

I remember thinking, “Hey, this fellow’s pretty sharp. He’s entertaining and he makes some excellent political points.”

Through the era of the TEA Party and the 2008 elections, Beck became a TEA Party Darling, standing in solidarity with those Americans, who were “Taxed Enough Already”.

But then…things slowly started to change.

Imperceptible at first, Beck slowly, over a span of years, changed from being an analyzer of the news, to a maker of it. He changed from being a commentator to being a self-appointed prophet.

Now, in the aftermath of Donald J. Trump becoming the Republican Presidential Candidate, Beck, whose severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, has made his once-entertaining radio program unlistenable, has now turned into an Old Testament Prophet, shaming those Christians who may even be thinking about voting for Trump.

I do believe that Beck’s Holy Garments have ridden up into a dark and lonely place.

Once one of my favorite radio show hosts to listen to, Beck has, in the last couple of years, become unlistenable.

The times that I have tuned in, during the course of the Republican Primaries, is sounded like Beck was possessed with the spirit of the late, great Ricardo Montalban, in his scene-stealing role as Khan in “Star Trek II”. I fully expect to hear him say at one point:

[quoting from Melville’s Moby Dick] To the last, I will grapple with thee… from Hell’s heart, I stab at thee! For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee!

Holding one’s breath until they turn blue, or telling a Christian American Conservative that they are somehow condemned to Hell and are Unpatriotic, for voting for and supporting Donald J. Trump in his quest to become the next President of the United States of America, is not going to change the reality of the situation.

Neither will staying at home and not voting this November.

That’s been tried before.

That is how we got stuck with Petulant President Pantywaist.

That is the cold, stark reality that finally hit Conservative Talk Show Host and Constitutional Lawyer Mark Levin square between the eyes.

Not voting for Trump IS a vote for Hillary. PERIOD.

Quite frankly…

If you hate Donald J. Trump so much, that you are willing to sacrifice America’s Future to get your “revenge”, seek professional help.

Or…change your last name to Khan…or Ahab.

Priorities, Priorities: Trump to Visit Americans in Flooded Louisiana. Obama and Hillary Golfing and Resting.

th1YUJE1B0 Yesterday, the big story on the National News was that some ignorant Liberal “Artist” had sculpted naked statues of Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald J. Trump, placing them in several major cities, in an effort to show that “the emperor had no clothes”.

How can Trump be an “Emperor”? He holds no political power.

Anyway, besides being an absolutely ignorant, juvenile, and disgusting move, it has proven to be an object lesson in both karma and irony.

By the way, I heard that they sculpted a naked statue of Hillary also. However, for some reason it could not stand up on its own…and it frightened small children.

But, I digress…

Foxnews.com reports that

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and running mate Mike Pence will visit flood-damaged areas of Baton Rouge, La. Friday.

Record flooding across Louisiana has killed at least 13 people. Over 85,000 people have registered for federal disaster assistance, more than 30,000 have been rescued, and an estimated 40,000 homes have been damaged.

Trump addressed the flooding at a rally in Charlotte, N.C. Thursday night, calling Louisiana “a state that is very, very special to me.”

“Though words cannot express the sadness one feels at times like this,” Trump said, “I hope everyone in Louisiana knows that our country is praying for them, and standing with them to help them in these difficult hours.”

However, a spokesman for Louisiana’s governor said his office had not been contacted by the Trump campaign.

Richard Carbo, spokesman for Gov. John Bel Edwards, told the Associated Press Trump was welcome to Louisiana, “but not for a photo-op.” Instead, Carbo proposed Trump “consider volunteering or making a sizable donation to the LA Flood Relief Fund to help the victims of this storm.”

Earlier Thursday, the Baton Rouge Advocate called on President Barack Obama to cut short his Martha’s Vineyard vacation and visit the affected area.

“The optics of Obama golfing while Louisiana residents languished in flood waters was striking,” an editorial said. “It evoked the precedent of the passive federal response to [Hurricane Katrina] in 2005, a chapter of history no one should ever repeat.”

In response, a senior White House official cited Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser, a Republican with a history of criticizing the Obama administration.

“FEMA has been on the ground, and has really done a good job thus far through this disaster,” Nungesser told National Public Radio. “There’s been a huge change since Katrina in the response, in wanting to get people on the ground.”

Uh huh.

Well, I mean, after all, the President is too busy inspecting the local gold courses to be interrupted by disaster striking us “common folk”.

Especially us “ignorant rednecks” below the Mason/Dixon Line.

After all, as Boston.com reported earlier this week, a president has to have his priorities…

CHILMARK, Mass. (AP) — Adding a touch of politics to his vacation, President Barack Obama on Monday urged Democrats to campaign aggressively for the next 80 days to elect presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, saying “if we do not do our jobs, then it’s still possible for her to lose.”

“When I say do our jobs, what I mean is we are going to have to continue to be engaged, we are going to continue to have to write checks, we are going to continue to have to make phone calls and rally people behind her candidacy,” Obama said.

He also urged the Democratic donors at a Clinton fundraiser to help counter an “unrelenting negative campaign” against the former secretary of state “that has made a dent in the opinion of people even who are inclined to vote for her.”

Clinton’s standing among voters has suffered from perceptions that she is dishonest, along with her use of a private email server when she ran the State Department and the appearance of conflicts of interest between the department when she was in charge and her family foundation.

“We have to be aggressive in our campaign for 80 days, and that’s not a lot,” Obama said. “But when you think about the stakes, there’s nothing more important” than electing Clinton to continue the economic and other progress he described under his leadership.

Democrats Hank Goldberg and his wife, Carol Brown Goldberg, hosted the event at their home in Chilmark, the same town where the president is renting a vacation home. About 60 Obama and Clinton supporters paid between $10,000 and $33,400 to attend the event that was held in a tent on the sprawling property. Servers wore white aprons that said, “Thank You, President Obama.”

The proceeds will benefit Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties across the country.

Obama pointedly did not mention Donald Trump, Clinton’s Republican opponent, by name and said he’s tired of talking about the New York businessman he earlier this month dismissed as “unfit to serve.”

“I don’t have to make the case against her opponent because every time he talks he makes the case against his own candidacy,” Obama said.

The president said his wife, Michelle, is “very strict” about him actually being on vacation when he goes on vacation. But, he said, “she gave me special dispensation for this evening because she understands, just as all of you understand, how important this is.”

Obama is expected to campaign aggressively for Clinton in the fall run-up to the Nov. 8 elections.

Clinton did not join Obama at the fundraiser. Earlier Monday, she made her first campaign appearance with Vice President Joe Biden in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, a state both she and Trump are competing to win.

Let this sink in for moment, boys and girls.

While Americans were suffering, a sitting President of the United States of America placed campaigning for his party’s Presidential Candidate, his potential successor to “the throne” above going to offer support and condolences to those Americans whose lives have been changed forever by a natural disaster.

Additionally, the before-mentioned Democratic Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton, has chosen not to travel to that area, either, possibly due to the fact that not only is she unwilling to do so, the frail condition of her personal health will not allow her to.

The only one in this political scenario who is demonstrating that he actually cares about the people of Louisiana is Donald J. Trump, the American Businessman and Entrepreneur, the Citizen Statesman if you will, whom the President of the United States said was “unfit to serve”.

Irony is embarrassed.

Not since Marie Antoinette supposedly quipped that the starving French living under her and her husband’s rule should “eat cake”, has there been such an obvious disconnect between those in authority and “common folk”.

The fact of the matter is, these two representatives of “The Smartest and Most Caring People in the Room”, are once again showing to the American Public that they are neither smart nor caring.

Obama and Hillary both are looking like the Machiavellian Professional Politicians that they are.

They have clearly placed power before principle.

And, Trump, whom they have both claimed is “unfit to serve”, is making them both look very small.

“I Am Your Voice”: Trump Accepts Nomination…Hey, Political Elite…Can You Hear us Now?

Trump accepted the nomination of his party with a 76-minute stem-winder of a speech, which left no doubt that he is ready to take it to the Democrat Party and their representative, the soon-to-be nominated “Queen of Mean”, Hillary Clinton.

Politico.com reports that

Exactly 350 days after Donald Trump stood in Quicken Loans Arena at the first presidential debate and refused to endorse the eventual Republican nominee if it wasn’t him, he accepted that same Republican Party’s nomination — and vowed to keep winning all the way to the White House. In the biggest address of his unlikely, divisive and meteoric political career, Trump on Thursday night sought to bring together a party that he helped fracture in an ugly primary that left divisions that were apparent all the way through a tumultuous four days in Cleveland.

The Manhattan mogul sold himself as the champion of a downtrodden working class — “America’s blue-collar billionaire” as one speaker called him earlier in the evening — promising to restore “law and order” and casting himself as a change agent against presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“I am your voice,” he boomed, pointing straight toward the television audience.

“Hillary Clinton’s message is that things will never change. Never ever,” Trump said. “My message is that things have to change and they have to change right now.”

Trump delivered a deeply negative speech that described a darkening America. He spoke of spiking crime, “third-world” airports, growing trade deficits, “chaos in our communities,” and terrorism on the home front. Abroad, he said, the situation was “worse than it has ever been before.”

“This is the legacy of Hillary Clinton: death, destruction, terrorism and weakness,” he said.

“Lock her up!” the crowd burst out repeatedly during Trump’s speech and throughout the week. Hatred of Clinton has proved among Trump’s most potent weapons as he has pursued elusive party unity.

But the energy in the arena faded as Trump’s speech stretched past the one-hour mark and as Trump’s deliberative style while reading a teleprompter slowed his cadence to a crawl. C-SPAN reported it was the longest acceptance speech since at least 1972.

While Trump used heated rhetoric to rip into Clinton, he adopted far more progressive and conciliatory language in what amounted to the kick-off speech of his general election campaign. He spoke about inner cities suffering under Democrats, African-Americans living in poverty, and the vision of “a country of generosity and warmth.”

Citing the recent attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Trump said he would do “everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens.” When the crowd applauded the line, Trump ad-libbed, “As a Republican it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said.” Facebook reported it was the most talked-about moment of the speech on its network.

Earlier, Trump had granted a speaking slot to Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel, who declared to cheers, “I’m proud to be gay. I’m proud to be a Republican. But most of all I’m proud to be an American.”

All of Trump’s children jumped to their feet and clapped in unison. It was a remarkable display for a party that had stripped all gay-rights mentions from its platform the week before.

In Ivanka Trump’s speech introducing her father, she adopted rhetoric far more typical of Democrats, promising that Trump, as president, would pursue affordable child care and equal pay laws for women. And after months of criticism of Trump for racist and xenophobic rhetoric, she said her father was “color blind and gender neutral.”

Trump also modulated one of his signature policies — “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims” entering the country rolled out last December — casting his immigration blockade in terms of terrorist-compromised countries, rather than an entire religion.

“He drew the line with Hillary very clearly,” former Speaker Newt Gingrich said afterward. “Eighty percent of Americans will find something to like in there.”

How refreshing.

What a contrast to what we heard from the present occupier of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

No racially-divisive rhetoric, no allusions to the Marxism Axioms revolving around Class Warfare, no self-deification, such as

By the way, how’s that “Hope and Change” workin’ out for ya?

But, I digress…

Instead, we heard from a man who genuinely LOVES America and her people, instead of viewing us all as racist, misogynist, xenophobes.

And, therein lies the secret of Donald J. Trump’s successful campaign for the Republican Presidential Nomination.

What Trump did, with his refusal earlier in the campaign to “act more presidential”, was to implement a strategy.

Trump has always been a “people person”.

That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox News, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.

As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.

“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.

He knew that the only was to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Bypassing the borders to communication, historically determined by both political parties and the Main Stream Media, is a concept which I first witnessed being employed by a Presidential Candidate in the 1980 Presidential Election, named Ronald Wilson Reagan.

While I am not comparing the two, I am noting that this strategy has proved and is proving effective, in the case of both Presidential Candidates.

As the polls show, and will continue to show, Trump has struck a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

Why is Donald J. Trump so popular with average Americans?

The reason is very simple: WE’RE ANGRY.

Our palpable anger is one which has been building since January of 2009, when a Lightweight, who has as much in common with average Americans as a Martian would, was inaugurated as President of the United States of America.

That anger, a result of his anti-American actions and resulting policies, which have affected Americans’ daily lives, has been exacerbated by the Republican Elite, who, in their desire to “reach across the aisle” and “go along to get along”, have distanced themselves from those who elected them to Congress in the first place.

Meanwhile, average Americans, like you and me, remain mired up to our necks in an abysmal swamp of bills and taxes, living paycheck-to-paycheck, afraid to make a move, for fearing of drowning in an ocean of debt.

Seemingly forgotten, in all of the forgotten promises, made by Barack Hussein Obama, are the over-94 million Americans, who are no longer, largely through no fault of their own, participating in our Workforce.

You want to talk about anger and frustration?

Try looking for work, when you are over 55 years of age.

Anger has played an important part in the forging of this great country, which will be lucky to survive Obama’s final year in office.

It was anger that formed our country….an anger over being held captive to “Taxation Without Representation”…an anger which, as a prime example of history repeating itself, Americans are experiencing, even as I type this blog.

It is this anger, which has propelled Donald J. Trump to his victory in the Republican Primary Race…and those who prefer the Washingtonian Status Quo know it.

That is why the Republican Establishment, at least some of them, have hitched a ride on “The Trump Train”.

I they had not accepted the reality of his Primary Victory, and the fact that Americans are angry, they would have gone down to defeat again in 2016.

They would have never achieved victory by once again trying to push the Jello of “Liberal Moderation” up a hill.

Hence, the failed campaign of Jeb! Bush.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, is a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who wants to become a public servant.

Does Donald J. Trump need to “tone it down”, in terms of speaking “truth to power”?

Judging from the success of his Acceptance Speech last night, NO.

Only if he wants to sound like a Professional Politician.

The NBC Affiliate in New York City reports that

Michelle Obama praised the diverse graduates of the city’s oldest public institution of higher learning and took a mild swipe at Donald Trump as she delivered the last commencement address of her tenure as U.S. first lady on Friday.

“I really want you all to know that there is a reason why, of all of the colleges and universities in this country, I chose this particular school in this particular city for this special moment,” Obama told the graduates of the City College of New York.

Noting that students at the 169-year-old college come from 150 countries and speak more than 100 languages, she said, “You represent just about every possible background – every color and culture, every faith and walk of life.”

Obama, the wife of Democratic President Barack Obama, told the graduates that “with your glorious diversity, with your remarkable accomplishments and your deep commitment to your communities, you all embody the very purpose of this school’s founding.”

She made a thinly veiled reference to Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, by saying “some folks” don’t value the diversity that City College embodies.

“They seem to view our diversity as a threat to be contained rather than as a resource to be tapped,” Obama said. “They tell us to be afraid of those who are different, to be suspicious of those with whom we disagree.

“They act as if name-calling is an acceptable substitute for thoughtful debate, as if anger and intolerance should be our default state rather than the optimism and openness that have always been the engine of our progress.”

Trump has promised to build a wall between the United States and Mexico, proposed banning Muslims from entering the U.S. and said it’s risky to take in Syrian refugees because terrorists could be among them.

Obama added that “here in America, we don’t give in to our fears. We don’t build up walls to keep people out because we know that our greatness has always depended on contributions from people who were born elsewhere but sought out this country and made it their home.”

City College, founded as the Free Academy of the City of New York in 1847, gained a reputation as the poor man’s Harvard in the 1930s, when it educated a generation of Jewish intellectuals who were shut out of elite private colleges.

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, once said about outgoing (Thank God) First Lady Michelle Obama that

I think the essence of hope and change, I think the hope was not so much hope for the country’s future economically, hope for people’s personal economic success. I think the hope was that if this country made the statement, a majority white country electing an African-American president, that alone would serve a significant role, play a significant role and cause there to be massive progress toward eliminating, or not eliminating, but reducing the racial strife in this country, and the exact opposite has happened.

Rush is right.

Like her husband, President Barack Hussein Obama, Michelle Obama has done her best to play The Race Card at every opportunity.

In this case, by erroneously claiming that the reason Donald J. Trump’s. along with the majority of Americans’, desire to secure our Southern Border, is because we have a fear of people who look different from us.

If that were the case, American would have never become the “Great American Melting Pot”, as the old cartoon from Scholastic Rock, that we used to watch as kids on Saturday Mornings on ABC, so aptly explained.

And, “The Donald” would have an all-white workforce in his companies.

This country was built by LEGAL IMMIGRANTS of all Ethic Backgrounds, who assimilated into our culture and became AMERICANS, who were loyal to their now-found country, not the country that they left behind to come here for a better life.

“Mooch” is purposefully assigning a “nobility” and “righteousness” to those who would enter this country illegally, to take American Jobs , while remaining loyal to their country of origin and to those who are entering illegally for the purpose of destroying our nation through the mindless violence of Islamic Terrorism.

Michelle Obama does not speak for the overwhelming majority of Americans.

She never has.

Most of the other First Ladies in my 56 years have brought a certain degree of class and decorum to their unelected position as “FLOTUS”.

Hillary Clinton being a notable exception.

Where that woman spits, grass never grows again.

But, I digress…

Michelle Robinson Obama is the most useless, racially divisive, and downright hateful excuse for a First Lady that this country has ever seen.

Bess Truman was Mother Teresa compared with the woman whom I affectionately refer to as “Mooch”…

Her expensive tastes, which include Wagyu Beef and Lobster, her penchant for taking the most expensive vacations ever imagined by man (with larger entourages than an NBA Player), along with her attempts at telling Americans what we HAVE to feed our children and grandchildren, and how we should be raising them, have not exactly endeared herself to the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Quite frankly, all of us out here in the Heartland, think that she stinks on ice.

For Michelle Obama to drop her carefully concealed mask of racial intolerance this late in the game, with still time left in her husband’s presidency, shows how little regard she has, not only for the decorum of her position, but, for the well-being of America and her citizens, both black and white.

She’s classless.

“Mommy, There’s a Man in the Bathroom!”: The Progressive War Against American Freedom of Thought

Americans, are once again, witnessing the “Tyranny of the Minority”.

Jillian T. Weiss, a professor of law and society at Ramapo College of New Jersey and founder of a firm that represents transgender people who have experienced discrimination, is executive director of the National Transgender Bar Association now in formation. The following is an excerpt of a colum tittled “Federal law dooms transgender bathroom bans’, which was published yesterday in USA Today.

North Carolina recently became the first U.S. state to mandate discrimination against transgender people by statute, banning them from using bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity in government buildings and schools. The new law also guts protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Charlotte and nine other municipalities.

This move and similar ones in other states are terrible signals of intolerance, but beyond that they make absolutely no sense. North Carolina started feeling an economic backlash so quickly that Gov. Pat McCrory signed an executive order Tuesday in an attempt to soften the message sent by the law, though the order has little impact on the law itself.

Then there’s McCrory’s reason for overriding the municipal ordinances — that the city of Charlotte committed “government overreach and intrusion” by saying transgender customers of private businesses had the right to use whatever restroom seemed appropriate. That is in one sense a demand on those businesses. But looked at another way, McCrory was suggesting that Charlotte had overstepped its governmental role by reducing restrictions on restroom use. If this seems illogical to you, join the club.

What makes state laws like these even more irrational is that transgender people are currently protected by federal law. They are protected in their use of gender-conforming bathrooms in schools by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. The Occupational Safety and Health Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 have been interpreted to cover gender-appropriate restrooms in the workplace. There are constitutional provisions requiring equal protection of the law and a due process right to privacy that apply to state laws restricting access to public accommodations. And the Affordable Care Act protects people in medical facilities.

Even so, 44 bills targeting the LGBT community were introduced in state legislatures in the first three months of 2016. The Republican National Committee has called for these actions. These statewide attempts to make an end run around federal law, using irrational fear-mongering to vilify an already vulnerable population, have already resulted in a federal lawsuit in North Carolina.

Ever since the states of North Carolina and Mississippi passed laws effectively barring “transgendered” people from using public restrooms of the opposite “biological sex”, in support of traditional American Morals and Vales, there has been an epic attempt by “The Smartest and Most Tolerant People in the Room” to blackmail corporations into protesting the states’ efforts, through public proclamation of their displeasure with Americans in the Heartland standing up for themselves.

Exactly, how large is the “Transgendered Population” in the United States of America?

If you listen to those, including President Barack Hussein Obama and his Administration, who are fighting so fervently for “Transgendered Rights”, you would think that the percentage of our overall population MUST be somewhere in the double digits.

You would be wrong.

Transgendered Americans actually only number somewhere around 700,000, about 0.3 percent of U.S. adults.

I suppose that the “coming out” of Former Olympic Decathalon and Reality TV Star Bruce Jenner as her new Transgendered Persona, “Caitlyn”, started the snowball down the hill.

However, as I wrote in the time, I think that it could possibly be nothing but a publicity stunt, for two reasons.

Nothing that he/she/it has done to him/her/itself is irreversible. He still has his male sexual organ.
He/she/it has publicly stated that he/she/it still prefers women.

I wonder if the sales of Wheaties suffered after his/her/its big announcement?

But, I digress…

In researching today’s post, I found several articles in the Main Stream Media and Liberal websites, such as mediamatters.org, lauding how peaceful, wonderful, and harmless Transgendered People are, and how we “Right-wing Hatemongers” and our stated concern about the safety of our wives, girlfriends, and daughters is overblown.

Then, I found articles detailing the problems that American Prisons have been facing, for over 10 years, in dealing with the Transgendered Criminals, who are incarcerated in their facilities.

And, of course, the reports about perverts exposing themselves in public bathrooms, are common on every city’s Police Blotter.

Why the push to accommodate the “gender Identity” of .03 % of our population, while simultaneously disrespecting the privacy and advocating a threat to the safety of American women and children?

I propose to you, gentle reader, that this is a part of the continued effort to sublimate Traditional American Values, and even, American Exceptionalism, for the “Good of the State”, in Liberals/Progressives’ ongoing quest to bring America down to the same level as the Socialist Democrat Failures of Europe.

The other day, I had a fellow write attempt to justify these multiple-stall “Unisex” Public Restrooms as being “normal”, because “Europe has had them for years”.

I, attempting to control my incredulity, answered him, by explaining that America is not Europe. 75% of Americans still proclaim themselves to be Christians, while Europe has abandoned both their Faith and their backbones, and are being invaded by Muslims, who are bringing their Sharia Law, with them.

You often hear of the activists, who are a part of the 24% of Americans, who identify themselves as “Liberals”, referred to as the “Hive-mind”, because most of the time, they present themselves in public and on the internet, including Facebook Political Pages, as being in lockstep with one another, regurgitating “the Party Line”, about each and every Hot Button Political Issue, resembling the brainwashed Proletariat of the old Soviet Union.

The actions of North Carolina and Mississippi, goes against the unified thought process of Liberals. American Individual Freedom of Thought and Traditional Morality and Value System of America, instilled in the majority of Americans, by American Christianity.

Traditional American Morality and Values are a roadblock to Progressives’ Plans, as regards to the “Good of the State”.

So, when you see Liberals Musicians like Bruce Stringsteen and Bryan Adams cancel concerts in North Carolina and Mississippi, and Corporations expressing their “concerns” of the passage of these laws, it is all a part of a concerted effort to get us “all in line”.

Unfortunately for those who expouse the “singularity of thought” of the Hive-mind, they will never win.

We are Americans. We cherish our Faith, our Families, and our Freedom of Thought.

We will not be assimilated.

Despite “Economic Eeyores”, Trump Promises to Cut Taxes, Renegotiate Trade Deals to Bring Back Economic Prosperity

As an American, what sort of President would you rather have:

One who would place the Sovereignty of America and the Economic Prosperity of our citizens, first?

Or one who would, literally, “give away the store”, in an attempt to make other countries “like” him and to cement his “legacy”?

The Washington Post reports that

Donald Trump said in an interview that economic conditions are so perilous that the country is headed for a “very massive recession” and that “it’s a terrible time right now” to invest in the stock market, embracing a distinctly gloomy view of the economy that counters mainstream economic forecasts.

The New York billionaire dismissed concern that his comments — which are exceedingly unusual, if not unprecedented, for a major party front-runner — could potentially affect financial markets.

“I know the Wall Street people probably better than anybody knows them,” said Trump, who has misfired on such predictions in the past. “I don’t need them.”

Trump’s go-it-alone instincts were a consistent refrain — “I’m the Lone Ranger,” he said at one point — during a 96-minute interview Thursday in which he talked candidly about his aggressive style of campaigning and offered new details about what he would do as president.

The real estate mogul, top aides and his son Don Jr. gathered over lunch at a makeshift conference table set amid construction debris at Trump’s soon-to-be-finished hotel five blocks from the White House. Just before, he had met there with his foreign-policy advisers and just after he visited officials at the Republican National Committee — signs that, in spite of his Trump-knows-best manner, the political novice is making efforts to build a more well-rounded bid.

Over the course of the discussion, the candidate made clear that he would govern in the same nontraditional way that he has campaigned, tossing aside decades of American policy and custom in favor of a new, Trumpian approach to the world.

In his first 100 days, Trump said, he would cut taxes, “renegotiate trade deals and renegotiate military deals,” including altering the U.S. role in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

He insisted that he would be able to get rid of the nation’s more than $19 trillion national debt “over a period of eight years.”

Most economists would consider this impossible because it could require taking more than $2 trillion a year out of the annual $4 trillion budget to pay off holders of the debt.

Trump vehemently disagrees: “I’m renegotiating all of our deals, the big trade deals that we’re doing so badly on. With China, $505 billion this year in trade.” He said that economic growth he foresees as a consequence of renegotiated deals would enable the United States to pay down the debt — although many economists have said the exact opposite, that a trade war would be crippling to the U.S. economy.

Trump also said that the United States has lost its standing in the world and that he would make people “respect our country. I want them to respect our leader.” Asked how he would do so, Trump cited an “aura of personality.”

Almost a month ago, on March 8th, I posted a blog detailing why Foreign leaders do not want Sonald J. Trump to become President of the United States.

Under the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama, they have been able to make out like bandits.

Foreign Leaders, who like the advantage that they have gained, under the weak and vacillating Foreign Policy of Barack Hussein Obama, do not want the United States to regain our position as the Leader of the Free World.

It is far more lucrative for them, when the United States “negotiates from a position of weakness”.

They certainly do not want to negotiate with an American President who has mastered “The Art of the Deal”.

…as opposed to Barack Hussein Obama…who has mastered the “Art of Giving Away the Store” and compromising America’s Sovereignty in the process.

As we journey through this Quixotic Quest, known as our everyday lives, we come across windmills, which we must tilt with daily, known as “priorities”.

Priorities are unique, perplexing things, as they vary from individual to individual.

For those of us between employment, it is finding a meaningful, well-paying job, so that we may provide for our families. For other Americans, it could be the care of their elderly loved ones. For others, their priority may be to climb the Corporate Ladder at their place of employment.

For the parents of 30-year-old Liberals and “puff puff” “l”ibertarians, it may be that their priority is to get their slacker of a “kid” to move out of the basement.

But, I digress…

Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), the 44th President of these United States, has a problem.

(No, I don’t mean his overbearing wife, Mooch, and her desire to build shopping carts, which will tell us what “healthy” foods to buy. That’s a subject for another blog. Besides, it takes that heifer two rips to haul a.. …well, you know.)

Americans have noticed that there is a great disconnect between the citizens of the United States and their president. It’s not just his stand-offish behavior. There’s something else going on. He was not raised like the majority of Americans.

He didn’t have rubber dart gun wars in the neighborhood backyards. He didn’t play Nerf football in the front yards. He didn’t go to Vacation Bible School. I don’t know if he was ever told to stand with his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance.

It is this disconnect that is at the heart of the trouble with Obama’s presidency. Hope and Change have turned into despair and disbelief. Obama has never understood the shared values of average Americans, because the people who raised him did not share those values, either. It is the concern that we feel for one another, that shared American value system, that is causing a great awakening. One of the main reasons Obama wants control of the internet is so we can’t communicate with each other and he can control the message.

One of Obama’s problems, among a very long list of them, is MISPLACED PRIORITIES.

This problem started the very first time he took the Oath of Office, which clearly outlines his duties as President of the United States of America…

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

It is very obvious, to even the most casual observer that Obama cares more for those in other countries than he does for American Citizens.

Over 93,000,000 Americans remain expunged from America’s Workforce and here is the President of the United States replacing them with foreigners.

Any way you approach this fact, it remains indefensible.

I realize that I could have grown this post exponentially, by listing all of Obama’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES en masse.

However, I believe that simplicity in communication is the best way to get one’s point across.

The point I have been attempting to make today, is a rather simplistic one, in deference to the Liberals whom I know read this blog on a daily basis, attempting to catch me in some sort of “lie”, which only they can see.

Obama’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES have not only tarnished this Shining City Upon a Hill, but it has endangered the continued existence of America and her citizens, with every day this past week, bringing a new example of Obama’s deliberate ineptness and shallow behavior, in the poor fulfillment of his Oath of Office, to the degree to which average Americans are concerned about their children’s’ and grandchildren’ s future.

Obama has failed miserably in his sworn duties as President of the United States.

But, then again, perhaps the only promise he intended to keep, was to “radically change” America.

…for the worse.

On the other hand, Donald J. Trump, love him or hate him, is unabashedly Pro-American.

He believes in American Exceptionalism.

As I have previously stated, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Trump’s straightforwardness has struck a chord in the hearts of average Americans, tired of the wussification of America, being so relentlessly pushed by both modern political parties.

If Trump receives the overwhelming plurality of the votes from the Primary Elections, and the Republican Establishment takes the nomination away from him, by means of a Brokered Convention, Hillary Clinton will become President.

Americans are tired of being told that our “votes don’t matter” and “we know what’s good for you”.

That’s the attitude of America’s Modern Professional Political Class.

Americans want someone who will stand up for us.

We want someone who will place our Economic Strength and our citizens’ well-being above that of the rest of the countries of the world.

And, that is why he is still leading the Republican Primaries.

American’s are tired of being treated by Professional Politicians like Second-Class Citizens.

Trump is not a professional Politician.

He is a “Citizen Statesman”.

Now, where did I hear this foreign-sounding concept of being a “Citizen Statesman” before?

Oh, yeah.

That’s the way the Founding Fathers envisioned our system of government, led by citizens, who served their terms as public servants…AND THEN WENT HOME.

That is what we need today.

We need someone who has mastered “The Art of the Deal”.

Not someone who will “Give Away the Store”.

Well, like it or not, the Trump Train continues to gain momentum, as he rides the rails toward the Republican Nomination as their Presidential Candidate.

Politico.com reports that

Donald Trump trounced his rivals in the Nevada caucuses on Tuesday, notching his third consecutive victory and giving the Manhattan mogul even more momentum heading into Super Tuesday next week, when voters in a dozen states will cast their ballots.

Trump’s decisive win, which the Associated Press announced immediately after polls closed, was propelled by an electorate even more enraged than the ones that had swept him to wins in New Hampshire and South Carolina, and a second-place showing in Iowa.

“We love Nevada. We love Nevada,” Trump declared in his victory speech. “You’re going to be proud of your president and you’re going to be even prouder of your country.”

For the first time in the 2016 primary season, media entrance polls showed that a majority of voters, 57 percent of Nevada caucus-goers, said they were “angry” with the federal government.

And, as significantly, they want to bring in an outsider to fix it. More than three in five caucus-goers said they favor someone from outside the political establishment rather than a candidate with political experience as president.

It all added up to Trump’s biggest night yet.

“Now we’re winning, winning, winning,” Trump said. “And soon the country is going to start winning, winning, winning.”

The outcome was bad news for Marco Rubio, who is now 0 for 4 in the February contests, and Ted Cruz, who won the Iowa caucuses but finished a disappointing third in South Carolina on Saturday.

Those two senators continued to vie for the crucial mantle of the best candidate to eventually take down Trump. With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Trump led with 43 percent of the vote, with Cruz and Rubio trailing far behind, both tied at 24 percent.

Rubio skipped an election-night speech, while an exhausted-looking Cruz proclaimed himself the only legitimate alternative to Trump.

“The only campaign that has beaten Donald Trump and the only campaign that can beat Donald Trump is this campaign,” Cruz told supporters.

Stopping Trump now looks like a steeper proposition after he trampled Rubio and Cruz on Tuesday, scoring huge wins across nearly every cross-section of the Republican Party. Entrance polls show Trump won moderate voters and very conservative voters by huge margins. He won in rural and urban areas, and among voters with only high school diplomas and those with post-graduate degrees.

Trump even handily bested Cruz among his supposed based of evangelical Christians, and, though the sample was small, topped his two Cuban-American opponents among Hispanic caucus-goers.

Trump reveled in the details. “I love the evangelicals!” he yelled. ““Number one with Hispanics,” he bragged.

And he pointedly called out the home states of his remaining rivals — Texas for Cruz, Florida for Rubio and Ohio for John Kasich — as places he now leads in the polls and will win the coming weeks.

“It’s going to be an amazing two months,” he said. “We might not even need the two months to be honest, folks.”

Indeed, it’s not clear where anyone can next beat Trump, though Cruz looked ahead to Texas, which votes on March 1, in his speech.

“I cannot wait to get home to the great state of Texas,” he said.

Cruz and Rubio now face a political calendar that plays even more to Trump’s strengths: massive made-for-TV rallies and free national media coverage, with a dozen states voting in only seven days.

Kasich, who was in last place in early returns, continued to insist he was in the race to stay. His chief strategist, John Weaver, released a memo after the race was called taking aim at Rubio, Kasich’s rival for the mantle of establishment favorite.

“Contrary to what his campaign is trying to portray, Senator Rubio just endured another disappointing performance despite being the highest spending candidate in Nevada,” the memo read. “Republicans are now left to wonder whether investing in Marco Rubio is throwing good money after bad.”

Cruz, who was neck-and-neck with Rubio in early returns, also said the Florida senator underperformed.

“Marco Rubio started working early and put a significant amount of resources into making Nevada the one early state he could win,” Cruz’s campaign wrote in a statement. “But despite the hype, Rubio still failed to beat Donald Trump.”

Low turnout put a particular premium on early organizing, in which both Rubio and Cruz quietly invested. Cruz had the backing of the state’s Republican attorney general, Adam Laxalt, and made appeals to Nevada’s rural voters with a television ad highlighting his opposition to the fact that the federal government controls 85 percent of the state’s land. (Kasich targeted the same issue in TV ads, as well.)

Rubio, meanwhile, tried to connect with Nevada voters from his time living there as a child in the late 1970s and early 1980s, telling audiences about how his father worked as a bartender at Sam’s Town and his mother as a maid at the Imperial Palace. (He still has numerous cousins in the state.) Rubio’s family’s dabbled with Mormonism during those years and Rubio hoped an active Mormon political network that lifted Mitt Romney to a landslide win, with 50 percent of the vote, would turn out for him.

But it didn’t happen.

Stumping in rural Nevada on caucus day, Trump continued to boast of his strong poll numbers in states coming up on the voting calendar, including Cruz’s home state of Texas. He warned supporters to be wary of “dishonest stuff” from Cruz, whom he dubbed a “baby” and a “liar.”

And Trump issued a warning shot to Rubio to beware taking him on: The two have largely avoided tangling but that could change if Rubio builds on his second-place finish in South Carolina on Saturday.

“When he hits me, ugh, is he gonna be hit,” Trump said. “Actually, I can’t wait.”

Trump was in a far more ebullient mood at his victory rally, where he stood behind a lectern for his third straight win, flanked by two of his sons.

Alluding to his practice in his earlier life of raking in money whenever he had the chance, Trump said: “Now we’re going to get greedy for the United States.”

Trump walked off the stage mouthing, “USA, USA, USA.”

Why is Billionaire Entrepreneur Donald J. Trump continuing to win?

To quote Ol’ Serpenthead (as his wife, Mary Matalin, calls him), James Carville,

IT’S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!

Andy Puzder, the chief executive officer of CKE Restaurants, does a great job in illuminating the point, in an op ed, posted today on realclearpolitics.com.

Jobs and the economy are top of mind for voters from both parties this election cycle according to a recent Gallup poll. This is hardly a surprise. But what was a surprise to many is the importance of immigration and free trade as economic issues for working class voters and the level of betrayal they feel with respect to their government’s handling of these issues.

These voters feel stuck between free trade policies that encourage companies to move good paying jobs outside the U.S. and the failure to enforce our immigration laws allowing people here illegally to take jobs that remain. While the economic wisdom of legal immigration and free trade policies is compelling, politicians would be well advised not to minimize these voters’ concerns.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, over the past thirty years the number of people employed in U.S.-based manufacturing has dropped dramatically by 5 million. When people are living in towns where the local plant closed because a big company moved jobs to Mexico or China, it’s extremely difficult to convince them that free trade policies are working to their benefit. Recent announcements by companies like Ford and Carrier Air Conditioning that they’re sending jobs to Mexico only reinforce their frustration.

Arguments on the benefits of liberal immigration policies also have little appeal when employers are hiring illegal immigrants for good paying jobs–such as those in construction–because they’ll work for less. Lacking higher paying jobs in sectors such as construction and manufacturing, working class Americans are often left to compete for lower paying retail positions and again find themselves competing with immigrants willing to work for less.

While free trade is unambiguously good for the worldwide economy and for each individual nation, including ours, there are adjustment costs. Working class Americans of all racial and ethnic backgrounds have borne a disproportionate share of those costs, made worse by inexcusably lax enforcement of our immigration laws.

Scapegoating immigrants won’t solve these problems any more than the Democrats’ efforts to scapegoat the rich. But these voters have little interest in complex arguments on how free trade or immigration will improve the economy overall. Rather, they want to hear specifically how candidates are going to protect their jobs, their families and their children’s futures.

When Donald Trump talks about punishing China, building a wall, and restricting immigration–rightly or wrongly–he hits these voters where they live. Their level of betrayal with what has come to be called “Establishment” politicians is so great that they’re apparently willing to ignore any political and ideological differences they may have with Mr. Trump.

These working class voters are essential to a Republican victory in 2016. While much has been said about Mitt Romney getting a mere 27% of the Hispanic vote in 2012, Nate Silver’s “Swing the Vote” web site shows that even if he had gotten 67% he would still have lost the Electoral College vote and the election. However, with an increase of just a few percentage points in the college and non-college educated white vote, Romney would have won the presidency despite getting only 27% of the Hispanic vote.

With respect to the popular vote, the Census Bureau’s Center for Immigration Studies found that Romney would have had to increase his share of the Hispanic vote by 23 percentage points–from the 27 percent he actually received to 50 percent–to win it. However, he could also have won it by increasing his share of the white vote by only three percentage points, from the 59 percent he actually received to 62 percent.

And this assumes stagnant turnout. According to the Census Bureau, between 2008 and 2012, voter turnout for white voters without a college degree declined a disconcerting 3.7% (from 48% to 44.3%), or nearly 4 million fewer voters.

These voters are a proxy for all working class voters whose concerns cut across racial and ethnic barriers. Any candidate seriously intent on winning the presidency in 2016 must understand why they didn’t show up in 2012 and, more importantly, how to get them to show up in 2016. That will require solutions on how working class voters (white, Hispanics, black or Asian) can build a better life, pursue a career, find a path to the middle class, send their kids to college and retire with dignity.

Republican candidates should proclaim at every opportunity a simple, relatable and heartfelt economic message that allows working class Americans to believe their candidate is protecting their interests. In different times, they believed it about Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. Today they believe it about Donald Trump. The question for the rest of the Republican field is whether they will believe it about anyone else.

Bingo.

Give that man a cee-gar.

As the polls show, and will continue to show, Trump is striking a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

Our palpable anger is one which has been building since January of 2009, when a Lightweight, who throws a baseball like a girlas inaugurated as President of the United States of America.

That anger, a result of his anti-American actions and resulting failed Foreign and DOMESTIC Policies, which have affected Americans’ daily lives, including our Household Incomes, has been exacerbated by the Republican Elite, who, in their desire to “reach across the aisle” and “go along to get along”, have distanced themselves from the Middle Class Average Americans, like you and me, who elected them to Congress in the first place.

Meanwhile, these same average Americans, (i.e., you and me), remain mired up to our necks in an abysmal swamp of bills and taxes, living paycheck-to-paycheck, afraid to make a move, for fear of drowning in an ocean of debt.

Seemingly forgotten, in all of the forgotten promises, made by Barack Hussein Obama, and Establishment Democrats and Republicans, alike, are the 94 million Americans, who are no longer, largely through no fault of their own, participating in our Workforce.

You want to talk about anger and frustration?

Try looking for work, when you are over 55 years of age.

It makes you want to give up…daily.

But, I digress…

Anger has played an important part in the forging of this great country, which will be lucky to survive Obama’s final year in office.

It is this anger, which has propelled Donald J. Trump to his lead in the Republican Primary Race…and those who prefer the Washingtonian Status Quo know it.

Hence, South Carolina’s Governor Nikki Haley’s alluding to it in her Rebuttal, something which has never been done before.

When delivering a Rebuttal to the SOTU Address, the Opposition Party’s Spokesperson is supposed to discredit the sitting President, not one of their own.

But, again, I digress…

In conclusion, concerning the “Mantle of Anger”, I, like Trump, wear it proudly.

It is an American’s Right…and Heritage.

And…we will wear it all the way to November.

A KJ Op Ed: Vetting The Republican Candidates – Going After the Wrong “Enemy”

For those of us Conservatives, who are considering which candidate to vote for in the 2016 presidential Election, our cup runneth over.

We literally have a smorgasbord of candidates, who are still campaigning, less than 10 months from the big day.

And, therein lies the problem.

While candidates seem to be more interested in attacking each other, than the Democrats, potential Republican Voters are following suit, and attacking each other, all over the World Wide Web.

To quote the Master of Malapropisms, the late, great Yogi Berra,

It’s deja vu, all over again.

During the Presidential Elections of 2008 and 2012, while we were busy “vetting” the Republican Candidates, in search of their “bonafides”, Liberal Democrats were solidly behind their Great Black Hope”, the “Clean and Articulate” (Biden’s words, not mine) Barack Hussein Obama, which resulted in an unvetted, untested, incompetent, petulant, anti-American metrosexual assuming the role of “Leader of the Free World”.

Why have we and why are we “eating our own”?

Unlike the present-day version of the Democrat Party, which has moved to the Far Left of the Political Spectrum, Republicans, both Conservative and “Moderate”, still think for themselves. We all have our own opinion on the criteria necessary for a successful American President. Democrats, like the Proletariat of the old Soviet Union, possess a “Hive-Mind” mentality, voting en masse for whoever is deemed “good for the Party”.
There is a Generational Gap, in regards to morality and ethical behavior, which is a determining factor as to each Republican’s own definition of “Conservatism”, which is a determining factor as to whom their candidate of choice will be. For example, in my case, as a 57-year old Reagan Conservative, I judge Presidential Primary Candidates, and those who vote for them, by the following criteria, as defined by Matt Barber…

Ronald Reagan often spoke of a “three-legged stool” that undergirds true conservatism. The legs are represented by a strong defense, strong free-market economic policies and strong social values. For the stool to remain upright, it must be supported by all three legs. If you snap off even one leg, the stool collapses under its own weight.

A Republican, for instance, who is conservative on social and national defense issues but liberal on fiscal issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative socialist.

A Republican who is conservative on fiscal and social issues but liberal on national defense issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative dove.

By the same token, a Republican who is conservative on fiscal and national defense issues but liberal on social issues – such as abortion, so-called gay rights or the Second Amendment – is not a Reagan conservative. He is a socio-liberal libertarian.

Put another way: A Republican who is one part William F. Buckley Jr., one part Oliver North and one part Rachel Maddow is no true conservative. He is – well, I’m not exactly sure what he is, but it ain’t pretty.

Another problem, which Republican voters are facing, is the fact that there are no Perfect Candidates. Ronald Reagan is not running for President. Each of the Top Tier Candidates all have their own good points. Unfortunately, they all have their weak points, as well, just like we voters do. Voters support those candidates whose stance of the important issues most closely resembles their own, a fact which helps to explain why Trump and Cruz are leading the pack.
Our defensiveness toward the Republican Candidates comes from the fact that the Republican Establishment has, in several instances, abandoned and betrayed those who placed them in office: average American Voters, living out here in the heartland (or, as those up in the Halls of Power refer to it as, “Flyover Country”). The reaction of Republican Voters in this Primary Season, is, above all else, a repudiation of betrayal of the Republican-held House and Senate. While compromise is, indeed, a part of Washington Politics, capitulation to the opposition party is not. Because of the actions of the Republican Establishment, average Americans have become hyper-vigilant to discrepancies in what a candidate says in the present, and, their actions in the past.

And that, gentle reader, is why we, as Conservatives and potential voters for the Republican Candidate, are allowing the Main Stream Media to lead us around by the nose, “vetting” our candidates, by cause more consternation and infighting, than a bunch of texting teenage girls on Prom Night.

Because of our concerns that whoever winds up as the Republican Candidate for the Office of President of the United States of America represent US, the average American Voter, we are literally, presently, at war with one another, mirroring the infighting going on between the candidates, using the platforms given to us via Political Websites and Facebook Pages.

While vetting the candidates through the use of the New Media is a good thing, it must not be used to tear down each other and destroy our opportunity to undo the damage that years of “Progressive” Political Control in DC has done to our country.

Our mission, now, as Americans, is to decide our own destiny.

We must not let the Political Elite, on BOTH sides of the aisle, nor the Main Stream Media, pick our candidate for us.

Ronald Reagan once said,

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.

A charge to keep WE have.

Obama’s Final State of the Union: Would You Buy a Used Car From This Man?

Tonight, United States of America President Barack Hussein Obama will deliver his final (Praise The Lord!) State of the Union Address.

When Petulant President Pantywaist takes the podium tonight, I fully expect him, as he exalts himself, to tell us exactly why we are not behaving appropriately, as Christian Americans, by refusing to genuflect to him and passively allow him to “radically change” America into a Middle Eastern Socialist Paradise.

And, the “Visiting Professor” will provide examples…

A Syrian scientist stricken with cancer and seeking a new start for his family in Michigan will represent Syrian refugees as a guest of first lady Michelle Obama for the president’s final State of the Union address.

President Barack Obama has committed to accepting an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees, but some Republican lawmakers and presidential candidates are critical of the expansion. Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, for example, noted the recent arrest of two Iraqi refugees. During an interview with CNN that aired Sunday, Cruz emphasized that they came to the United States “using the same vetting that President Obama wants us to trust with Syrian refugees.

Refaai Hamo, his son and three daughters landed at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in December, anxious to rebuild their lives. Hamo fled to Turkey from Syria after a missile attack killed his wife and one other daughter. He was profiled on the popular photo blog Humans of New York as “The Scientist.”

The White House said Sunday that Hamo will be among about two dozen guests invited to sit near the first lady on Tuesday. The guests include several veterans and service members, including one of the three Americans who thwarted an attack aboard a Paris-bound train.

A touching, moving story, reminiscent of those Legal Immigrants who came before to start a brand new life in the Greatest Country on God’s Green Earth, right?

Remember the Kurt Russell Movie, “Used Cars”?

Just like the used cars Kurt Russell sold in that movie, when you scratch the top layer of paint on the jalopy that Obama will be trying to sell us tonight, that won’t be Yellow Primer you find underneath the surface.

According to Breitbart.com,

Just five arrests have been made by German police after central Cologne was transformed into a war-zone on New Year’s Eve, as an estimated 1,000 migrants celebrated by launching fireworks into crowds and sexually assaulting German women caught up in the chaos.

The sordid details of the horrifying sexual assaults and attacks made against ordinary Germans by large gangs of migrants in Cologne in the early hours of Friday morning are just now emerging.

Far from a small number of sex assaults reported to have been made by German speaking men in initial reports on New Year’s Day, dozens of women are now reported to have been molested and “raped”, while dozens more men have been assaulted and robbed.

The following is a first-hand account from a friend of a friend, who lives in Germany, about the chaos caused by the Syrian Refugees, who have invaded their country. This lady has two daughters in college.

Needless to say, she is concerned.

You’ve hit a raw nerve here. I’d say it’s even worse. Today another report broke about an attack in the city, Bielefeld. In addition, there were similar attacks in Hamburg, Stuttgart (very near us) and even Finnland. Still the German “authorities” say there is no evidence of an organized, i.e. centralized plan for these attacks. Unbelieveable. The one good thing about the attacks is that they are forcing the government to admit that we have a major problem here with the refugee policies.Although they’re trying to blame the police, who already said in Sept that we would have social “unorder” within Germany and wouldn’t be able to secure our borders if the refugees continued to come in such masses, the police were ignored and basically told to shut up. They’ve been on high alert (meaning overtime, no vacations, etc) ever since trying to keep order. An impossible task. Before the crimes on New Year’s Eve, all of us who dared say anything about potential problems were immediately labeled racist. I speak from experience. We spoke out strongly against Germany’s policy after learning that 2 block houses of 50 refugees will be built 50 yards from our home. The whole neighborhood protested, to no avail. They will move in sometime in 2016. 80 % of the refugees are young men. They should be in their own country fighting for it, instead of attacking our women here and expecting other countries to send troops while they get hand-me-outs from our tax money. Admittedly, many people need help and it’s a tragic situation. However, Germany has allowed a million people in without adequately checking their identities. It’s becoming more and more clear that there are many bad eggs (dangerous eggs) among the refugees. Germany has significantly threatened the security of its own country and all of Europe in doing so. I’m hoping for more bad news to force changes. As of yet, the promised changes in the refugee laws are VERY weak. And, approx. 3000 continue to come over the border every day.

So…is this “situation” coming to America?

If so…it appears that we have a lot to (not) look forward to.

Why are the other Middle Eastern Countries not taking them in?

What do they know that we and the Europeans don’t?

I can answer those questions in two little words: “hijrah” and “taqujiyya”.

“Hijrah” refers to the undertaking of a pilgrimage to spread Islam to the World, such as undertaken by Mohammed between Mecca and Medina in 62 A.D., which is referred to as “The Start of the Muslim Era”.

“Taquiyya” is the Muslim Practice of purposeful lying to us “Infidels” in order to further the cause of Islam.

So, in case you are wondering, that, in a nutshell, is why informed Americans do not want 200,000 un-vetted Syrian “Refugees” brought here.
