Newsmax TV presents live coverage of President Trump’s rally in support of Republicans in the upcoming Georgia Senate runoff races on Saturday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
This exclusive presentation will be hosted by Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt from Valdosta. It’ll feature commentary from former Clinton adviser and political strategist Dick Morris, as well as special guests former Rep. Jack Kingston, Vernon Jones, pollster Robert Cahaly, and Angela Stanton King.
Trump is participating in the event to whip up support for Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler who face Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock in special elections on Jan. 5.
With the GOP holding 50 Senate seats and Democrats 48, victories by Ossoff and Warnock would give Democrats unified control of the White House and Congress, with Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s running mate, as the tie-breaker under a new Biden administration.
Trump’s appearance in the Peach State won’t be without some tension. Trump’s campaign on Friday filed a major lawsuit against Georgia election officials, claiming more than 300,000 ballots were cast illegally in the state.
Two weeks ago, Gov. Brian Kemp certified the state’s election results. After a hand recount, Trump gained 888 votes, leaving Biden with a lead of some 12,670 votes, That would make Biden winner of the state’s 16 electoral votes with a margin of victory of about 0.2%.
The rally is expected to attract thousands of MAGA supporters, who believe the state wrongfully called the presidential election for Biden.
Which, of course, they did.
There have been voices among both the Democrats and the Vichy Republicans stating the President Trump should NOT resume his MAGA Rallies.
Just like Trump did, with his refusal early in his campaign to “act more presidential”, he should still be taking his message directly to the American People.
He is at his best when he is around hard-working average Americans.
You see, Gentle Readers, Trump has always been a “people person”.
That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox News, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.
As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.
“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.
He knew that the only way to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.
Just as President Trump did when he went on a “Thank You” Tour and as he continues with his Daily Tweets to the American People..
The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.
Bypassing the borders to communication, historically determined by both political parties and the Main Stream Media, is a concept which I first witnessed being used by a Presidential Candidate in the 1980 Presidential Election, the before-mentioned Ronald Wilson Reagan.
While I am not comparing the two, I am noting that this strategy has proved effective for both men.
Regardless of what the Main Stream Media, INCLUDING TURNCOAST FOX NEWS, is telling you, Trump continues to strike a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.
The reason being, President Trump is still keeping his promises.
He does not talk down to us while disparaging our Sovereign Nation, as his predecessor did.
Trump talks to us in a plain-spoken, clearly understood way, a style which is in stark contrast to an opposition party full of professional politicians, whose only interest is the regaining of power in Washington, D.C., at whatever the cost.
Ever time that the President of the United States of America, the most powerful man in the world, holds a MAGA Rally, average Americans leave when it is over feeling good about themselves and their role in determining our future, unselfishly giving us the credit for his victory on November 8, 2016.
Poor old demented Joe Biden, the doddering old man whom the Democrats and their lackeys, the MSM, are calling the “President-Elect” couldn’t draw 100 voters to any of his “rallies”.
Heck, he couldn’t create enough energy when he spoke to power one of the twinkling lights on a Christmas Tree.
In stark contrast, tonight, President Trump will have thousands of Americans standing and cheering.
And, the Dems want average Americans to believe that Sleepy Joe Biden won “fair and square”?
Puhleeze.
