The Illegal Alien Invasion: School Days, School Days, Dear Old “Break the Rules” Days…

illegal immigration 7714The  new school year begins across America in many counties, towns, and cities next month. and with a new year comes new students attending new schools.

And, not all of them will be American students.

According to the Liberal Newspaper, the Chicago Tribune,

U.S. authorities have apprehended more than 52,000 lone minors this fiscal year, part of a wave mostly from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. This week, President Barack Obama asked Congress for $3.7 billion to cope with the deluge that’s overwhelmed processing centers, shelters where some children stay, courts and social-service agencies.

The Justice Department is changing its policy to give unaccompanied minors and families with children priority in immigration court, which could speed deportations and dissuade others from coming. Most children won’t qualify for humanitarian relief and will be deported, said White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest.

A report from the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, though, found that 58 percent may qualify for international protection.

…For all the political theater, schools are confronting the fallout of the crisis. In farflung cities and towns, a new student population is struggling to adapt to unfamiliar homes and the American education system. All the while, they’re trying to persuade officials to let them stay.

Stories of beatings, rapes or extortion suffered in their home countries, during their travels or in the U.S. are widespread, said Debra Duardo, executive director of student health and human services for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Separation anxiety is common.

“There’s no way a child is going to be able to come to school ready and able to learn if we don’t address some of the other issues they’re facing,” Duardo said. “Schools are a safe haven.”

Many lack immunizations or documentation proving they’ve had them, she said. While heightened demand crowded the main assessment center where checkups are done, moving it was too expensive, she said.

Soon after border agents detain unaccompanied minors, responsibility for their care falls to the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement. The agency’s involvement ends when it places children with a relative or other sponsor, said a spokesman, Kenneth Wolfe.

That leaves districts like the Houston Independent School District, Texas’s largest, on their own to estimate how many newcomers they’ll receive.

Houston is planning for more this year than last year’s 910, said Altagracia Guerrero, assistant superintendent of multilingual services. That was nearly double the number it had in 2012, but no one knows how many will show up on the first day of school in August.

Last year’s influx helped qualify the district for a $1.6 million federal grant. Guerrero, who’s part of a team coordinating a district-wide response, said she’ll hire tutors and outreach workers, and educate employees about the surge so they can help students who are a part of it.

“You try to staff as closely to the projection as possible,” she said.

Back in 2008, judicialwatch.org reported on some of the problems the Texas Public Schools faced with having to provide a free education to illegal aliens…

There are an estimated 1.5 million school-aged illegal immigrants in the United States and the government spends an estimated $12 billion annually to educate them. The biggest chunks are spent by California ($7.7 billion) and Texas ($3.9 billion), where the situation has become a public education crisis with no end in sight.

The Lone Star State’s public schools have seen a huge increase in illegal immigrant Hispanic students with dismal Mexican and Central American education histories that are contributing to an overall lowering of academic standards across the board.

Case in point: The Irving School District, located mostly in Dallas. It has suffered one of the nation’s largest increases—63%–of illegal immigrant students in the last year compared to a 33% increase in 1995. Irving’s superintendent says it’s tough to bring so many students with such poor schooling up to state and federal standards.

Mexican government statistics reveal that only 58% of Mexicans 15 and older have some elementary school education and working with them requires slowing down and teaching the very basics. Many of the kids that attend Irving District schools haven’t been in a classroom for years and educating them is an ongoing uphill battle that has depleted public resources in many Border State districts.

Besides spending nearly $6,000 a year to educate each student, the districts also spend more than $1.5 million annually to pay bilingual teachers extra because they are hard to find and have additional credentials. Illegal immigrants are well aware of the free education perks and admit they are a big incentive to enter the country illegally.

A family of illegal immigrants living in Irving says it has greatly benefited from the U.S. taxpayer-financed free education, which makes living in the country illegally worth the risk. The 35-year-old mother took free English classes offered by Irving schools so that parents can help their children with homework and her children speak English fluently thanks to their free topnotch U.S. education.

Since then, of course, the number of these “precious children” illegally here in our country, has grown exponentially, under President Barack Hussein Obama.

Just suppose these “refugees”, as the White House and Liberals en large are calling these illegal aliens, decide to take advantage of the lack of governmental paperwork, especially concerning their age and scholastic standing, in order to “game the system”.

No…they would not do that, would they? No…of course not.

Adult illegal immigrants are posing as unaccompanied minors to enroll in public high schools in Massachusetts, officials said Friday.

“Some of them have had gray hair, and they’re telling you that they’re 17 years old and they have no documentation,” Jamie Cerulli, the chief of staff for Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy of Lynn, Massachusetts, told The National Review. “If my children went to the public schools, I’d be very uncomfortable with all of these unaccompanied minors [that] are placed in the ninth grade.”

Catherine Latham, the school superintendent, said that foreign-student admissions have increased in the district by 500 since the 2010-11 school year. That includes illegal immigrants, refugees, and foreign nationals, the National Review reports.

Nearly 250 students came from Guatemala last school year — and 126 of them enrolled in the ninth grade, Latham said.

Located about 10 miles north of Boston, Lynn has a large Guatemalan population, she told the National Review. Many of the illegal immigrants who arrive there from the Central American country come from the city of San Marcos.

The National Review obtained information and images from the Department of Homeland Security on two illegal immigrants in Lynn who have registered for high school using questionable data.

Isai and Candelaria — whose full names were withheld — are enrolled in the ninth grade and are expected to attend classes this fall, Latham told the National Review.

Latham said that when possible age discrepancies arise, city officials visit the homes of those in question and try to verify age and other information.

She told the National Review of a case in which a relative of an illegal immigrant who registered for school as a “child” was identified by a relative as being 30 to 35 years old.

Heck, they have already entered our country illegally, why should illegally registering for High School bother them?

I understand that people want a better life for themselves and their children.  We are all immigrants in this land, except for American Indians, and they got here by crossing the Bering Straight.  But there is a huge difference between immigrating here legally and sneaking in illegally, between assimilating into an existing culture, and insisting on replacing a country’s existing culture with that of the country you left.

Do you want to have access to the blessings of American Citizenship, such as the right to attend our schools? Fine. Become an AMERICAN CITIZEN.

I’m all for assisting anyone in becoming a legal citizen of the United States, if that is their wish.  But, it must be done the right way, and they must accept responsibility for their illegal entry, show a willingness to learn our language, and embrace our American way of life, including respecting the American Flag.

So, let’s take this one step at a time.  Secure our borders.  Enforce the anti-illegal immigration laws.  And if the Federal Government won’t, the states, like Arizona, will have to pass their own laws.  America became a great nation because it is a melting pot of American-born and legally-immigrated citizens with a shared allegiance, not a multi-cultural United Nations with everyone loyal to their home country.

A wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now.  All of OUR SERVANTS, up on Capitol HIll, need to quit playing political games.  The safety of America is at stake .  SECURE THE BORDER NOW.

The Illegal Alien Invasion: Obama and the “New Bolsheviks”

Yesterday, in Austin , Texas, the Lone Star State’s Capital and “Mecca” of Liberalism, President Barack Hussein Obama, in front of a hand-picked admiring throng, did what he does best: had a petulant hissy fit, due to “everybody picking on him”.  By “everybody”, I mean “those mean old Republicans”, of course.

Yahoo News reports that

“You hear some of ’em, ‘sue him, impeach him,'” Obama said, then added a sarcastic, “Really?”

“For what? You’re going to sue me for doing my job? OK. I mean, think about that, you’re going to use taxpayer money to sue me for doing my job, while you don’t do your job?”

The crowd applauded.

“Sometimes I feel like saying to these guys, ‘I’m the guy doing my job. You must be the other guy,'” he said.

With Obama’s latest congressional proposal, $3.7 billion to tackle the border crisis, facing a rocky path to passage in Congress, the president is contending with what may well be a Washington stalemate throughout the rest of his presidency, which ends in early 2017.

On this week’s trip, he has taken to wandering down memory lane, recalling simpler times before he was a global figure, remembering fondly a walk he took along the river in Austin that did not attract a crowd or the time he sang on stage here.

“I remember going to a bar, club, or honky-tonk around here and singing on stage. I wasn’t very good. But people were enthusiastic,” he said at a fund-raiser at a private home in Austin.

Obama is finding his travels out of Washington to be cathartic, a way to connect with people who helped put him in office.

“What I’ve said to my team is ‘get me out of Washington,’” the president told donors at the event. He said wanted to talk to people who are doing the right thing and struggling so they know they are being heard.

So Obama, per usual, is trying to come off as a “Man of the People”? Which people is that?

As Bill Flax wrote back in March of 2012, in an article posted on americanthinker.org, Obama’s political philosophy speaks for itself,

Every fiscal policy from sundry stimulus programs to tax credits is steeply progressive. Obama champions wealth-redistribution and punitively taxing the affluent, even as political reality prevents implementing his complete agenda. Still, spending relentlessly rises long after the recession’s end, propelling government dependency to record heights. Professor Bell has been nicknamed the “Jeremiah Wright of the academic world.” Bell’s Critical Race Theory, the pinnacle of political correctness, applies Marxism to culture, as orthodox Marxism antagonized class differences.

Whereas Marx proffered that the pivotal hinge was economic, as explained here, cultural Marxism, aka political correctness, features other factors. It’s still victims and villains, but the culprits extend beyond capitalists and bourgeois to whites, men, Christians, and other “privileged” parties. Western culture’s prey are racial or religious minorities, women, and those behaving in ways previously considered anti-social.

Obama perceives society through lenses skewed by this modern version of Marxism. Obama’s proposals inevitably leverage left-wing radicals or government organs to redistribute wealth, power, or caches of moral superiority under pretense of combating prejudice. Power shifts from private to public — or from parties previously seen as oppressors to those whom progressives deem oppressed.

…The apologies, the appointments, the executive orders, the spending priorities — all embody untrammeled political correctness. The consistent thread knitting this Marxist quilt is anti-traditional America, which, as the president haughtily scoffs, was founded by “men of property and wealth.” Obama borrows from Marx, who thought government an instrument protecting the rich. Marx found faith, tradition, and patriotism impediments preventing the proletariat from recognizing their class interests.

The desensitization and placating of the Middle Class, as it was in classic Marxist Theory, is a key element of Obama’s political philosophy, as it was Vladimir Lenin’s.

By taking the ambition of the Middle Class away, by offering a “safe and comfortable” cradle-to-grave Nanny-State, “Uncle Sugar” Federal Government, Obama and his Administration have been buying American voters by giving them bribes of free Obamaphones, free healthcare, paychecks for not working, free food, etc.

All of this, plus the Class Warfare Rhetoric, which Obama continuously spouts, reminds me of a moment in history, over a century ago.

The year is 1903, The Russian Social Democratic Party is meeting in London. All the intellectuals in their party have been arguing since the end of the 1800′s as to the direction the party should take. One year earlier, in 1902, a man named Lenin, living in exile, wrote a paper entitled, “What Is To Be Done”.

The work was smuggled into Russia and spelled out his views regarding what the Social Democrats should be doing as a party. Lenin attacked party members who “were content to wait while history took its predetermined course.” Rather than wait, Lenin wanted to kick-start the issue he believed in to get things done rather than wait on intellectuals sitting around refuting each other’s ideas. The meeting resulted in a Party split creating the Mentsheviks and the Bolsheviks. The two factions reunited under Lenin in April 1905. Lenin went on to organize the November 1917 Russian Revolution on the Promise of “peace. bread, and land”.

On the night of Nov. 6 (Oct. 24, O.S.), the Bolsheviks staged a coup, engineered by Trotsky; aided by the workers’ Red Guard and the sailors of Kronstadt, they captured the government buildings and the Winter Palace in Petrograd. A second all-Russian congress of soviets met and approved the coup after the Mensheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries walked out of the meeting. A cabinet, known as the Council of People’s Commissars, was set up with Lenin as chairman, Trotsky as foreign commissar, Rykov as interior commissar, and Stalin as commissar of nationalities. The second congress immediately called for cessation of hostilities, gave private and church lands to village soviets, and abolished private property.

By now, you’re saying, “So?  What does Lenin’s push to power and the subsequent Russian Revolution have to do with what is going on in America right now…our horrible economy, our still-massive unemployment, and the illegal alien invasion we are experiencing on our Southern Border?”

Elementary, my dear Watson.

Lenin rose to power during a time of economic plight in Russia, which was perceived as being the result of a greedy upper class. In order to depose the Czar and his government, Lenin had to solidify the “have-nots”, the Mentsheviks and the Bolsheviks, into his own private army, designed to usher in his “Glorious Revolution”.

Today, in 2014, Obama, voted by the American People, the “Worst president Since World War II”, finds himself is a rapidly weakening position of power.

His popularity is swirling down the ol’ porcelain receptacle, and even his own party members are trying to distance themselves from him.

His only hope to retain his power base is to create, politically, his own”private army” of Democrat voters, composed of, as Mitt Romney called them, “the 47%”  of Americans dependent on Uncle Sugar and these new illegal aliens, whom he has been whisking off, via governmental transport, to be dispersed throughout the country, where, within a couple of years, they will be old enough to vote.

By ginning up the dependent base already here…and growing…due to this new influx of illegals…to push Congress to support Obama in passing Amnesty, Obama is creating his own “Revolutionary Army”, to fulfill his promise of “rapidly changing” America as we know it.

Far fetched? Perhaps.

However, remember what the greatest President in my lifetime, Ronald Wilson Reagan, once said,

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.

Obama on Illegal Alien Invasion: “It’s Congress’ Fault!”

ObamalyingYesterday, the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, (mm mmm mmmm) said the following in a news conference concerning the “Humanitarian Situation on Our Southern Border”, which his policies have caused.

Hello, everybody. I just had a good meeting with Governor Perry, local officials, and faith leaders to talk about the steps that we have taken and that we need to take to address the humanitarian situation on the border. And I want to thank everybody who’s been involved for taking the time to talk to me.

It’s important to recognize two things. First, the surge of unaccompanied children, and adults with children, are arriving at one sector of the border, and that’s the Rio Grande Valley. Second, the issue is not that people are evading our enforcement officials. The issue is that we’re apprehending them in large numbers. And we’re working to make sure that we have sufficient facilities to detain, house, and process them appropriately, while attending to unaccompanied children with the care and compassion that they deserve while they’re in our custody.

While we intend to do the right thing by these children, their parents need to know that this is an incredibly dangerous situation and it is unlikely that their children will be able to stay. And I’ve asked parents across Central America not to put their children in harm’s way in this fashion.

Right now, there are more Border Patrol agents and surveillance resources on the ground than at any time in our history. And we deport almost 400,000 migrants each year. But as soon as it became clear that this year’s migration to the border was different than in past years, I directed FEMA to coordinate our response at the border. Members of my Cabinet and my staff have made multiple trips to facilities there. And we’re also addressing the root of the problem. I sent Vice President Biden and Secretary Kerry and Secretary Johnson to meet with Central American leaders, as well as working with our international partners to go after smugglers who are putting their kids’ lives at risk.

And earlier this week, Mexico announced a series of steps that they’re going to take on their southern border to help stem the tide of these unaccompanied children.

Last week, I sent a letter to Congress asking them to increase penalties on smugglers and to give us flexibility to move migrants through the system faster.

Yesterday, I asked Congress to fund these efforts. About half of the resources would go to border security, enforcement, and expedited removal of people who don’t qualify for a humanitarian claim. About half would go to make sure we’re treating children humanely. We’d also make investments to further tackle the root problems in Central America.

So right now, Congress has the capacity to work with us, work with state officials, local officials, and faith-based groups and non-for-profits who are helping to care for these kids — Congress has the capacity to work with all parties concerned to directly address the situation. They’ve said they want to see a solution. The supplemental offers them the capacity to vote immediately to get it done.

Of course, in the long run, the best way to truly address this problem is for the House of Representatives to pass [Amnesty] legislation fixing our broken immigration system, which, by the way, would include funding for additional thousands of Border Patrol agents — something that everybody down here that I’ve talked to indicates is a priority.

In other words, Scooter is, once again, placing the blame for his policy failure on somebody…anybody else.

And, when he does not get his way, he jumps up and down, yelling at the top of his lungs, then holding his breath until he turns blue, all the while looking around to see if any adults are watching him. 

Texas Governor Rick Perry appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News Program last night. He and Obama did not quite see things eye-to-eye, no matter what Scooter says.

The Republican governor spoke out after meeting with Obama in Texas Wednesday afternoon. Both sides called the meeting “constructive” and said they agreed philosophically. However, Perry said he is concerned that Obama did not indicate he will take the immediate action he requested: to use his power as commander-in-chief to send the National Guard to secure the border.

“You know, I was like, Mr. President, you can deal with this. You can unilaterally direct the Department of Defense to put those troops on the border…” he said, later adding, “The president needs to understand that the single most important thing that he can do is put the National Guard on the border to coordinate with local law enforcement, with state law enforcement, with the border patrol…”

Obama said Wednesday that he is open to the National Guard suggestion, but that he believed it would only be a temporary fix.

Perry also criticized the fact that Obama is not visiting the border on his trip to Texas so he can witness the crisis first-hand. Obama said in a press conference Wednesday that doing so would be engaging in political “theater” and not productive.

“I said Mr. President, I really want you to come and see this,” Perry said. “I said this is important for you to absorb as a father, but more importantly as the president of the United States to see the humanitarian crisis.”

Perry said Obama’s refusal to do so is no different than the criticism President George W. Bush received when he chose to fly over New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina instead of visiting the city on the ground. He said Obama sending Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is not enough.

“I’m pretty sure that if George Bush had said ‘well I sent my FEMA director multiple times’ he still would have been criticized greatly,” Perry said. “Because you need to go. That’s what governors do, that’s what presidents do. When there are natural disasters, when there are crises like these, a president needs to be there to show the American people number one that he understands.”

In the press conference, Obama called on Congress to approve the more than $3 billion in emergency funds he requested to help with the crisis, but Perry claimed less than $100 million of those funds would be going toward border security.

“It’s the same president that said Al-Qaeda’s on the run and I don’t know whether he’s inept, or there’s something else going on, as I’ve said before,” he said. “But the fact is, the border is not secure.”

Perry said that if the National Guard was made available to help secure the border, it would send a powerful message to Central America.

“That’s the most humane thing we can do,” he said.

I swear, ya’ll. In all of my 55 years on God’s green Earth, I have never seen a more arrogant PO…err…jackwagon, representing our country as its president, than Barack Hussein Obama.

During Scooter’s moment of denial and self-adulation last night, I almost threw my Samsung Cell Phone at my Samsung Television.

I used to have difficulty listening to Bubba Clinton, also. However, the Former Philanderer-in-Chief pales in comparison to the present Prevaricator-in-Chief, in terms of being positively un-listenable.

First off, Obama is always 30-45 minutes late to his own press conferences, a habit born out of a sense of self-importance. In fact, Obama’s huge ego arrives in the room before he does.

Obama’s sense of self-importance is exceeded only by his over-estimation of his own intelligence. The former University of Chicago “Guest Lecturer” still believes that, whatever audience he is addressing, including the American people, all are less intelligence and less educated than he is.

This arrogance gives every speech he makes, a stilted, didactic tone. Obama does not talk TO the American People, as President Reagan did…HE TALKS DOWN TO US.

And, as if Obama’s overbearing arrogance was not bad enough, he doubles-down on the un-listenability factor by lying like a Persian Rug.

Obama reminds me of the children in the old cartoon strip, “The Family Circus”. Every time the children would break something, or do something that they were told not to, they would answer their parents, when asked what happened, “Ida know” and “Not me”, as smiling specters with those words printed on their chests appeared on the strip.

I thought I saw those ghosts floating across the screen as Obama spoke last night. Although, on second thought, if might have been dimwitted ol’ Joe Biden, grinning like a mule eating yellow jackets, as usual.

Growing up, I and members of my generation, were always taught that accepting blame and responsibility for your failures, was a sign of maturity.

That being the case, last night, the President of the United States sounded like he was around 8 years old.

Obama’s BLM Tries to Seize Texas Privately-Owned Land. They Didn’t Count on AG Greg Abbott.

obamaburningconstitutionWell, Obama’s Bureau of Land Management is at it again. Now, they want to seize 90,000 acres of land, deep in the heart of Texas.  The land they want is on the Texas/Oklahoma Border.

However, they did not count on Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. As we say down here in Dixie, he “ain’t havin’ none of it”, as Breitbart.com reports…

Abbott challenged the BLM director directly stating in his letter, “Nearly a century ago, the U.S. Supreme Court determined that the gradient line of the south bank of the Red River—subject to the doctrines of accretion and avulsion—was the boundary between Texas and Oklahoma. Oklahoma v. Texas, 260 U.S. 606 (1923). More recently, in 1994, the BLM stated that the Red River area was “[a] unique situation” and stated that ‘[t]he area itself cannot be defined until action by the U.S. Congress establishes the permanent state boundary between Oklahoma and Texas.’ Further, the BLM determined that one possible scenario was legislation that established the ‘south geologic cut bank as the boundary,’ which could have resulted ‘in up to 90,000 acres’ of newly delineated federal land. But no such legislation was ever enacted.”

As to what kind of standoff might Texas might be facing with the BLM on this matter, Abbott said, “I think that we should be able to resolve this from a legal standpoint because, I believe, what the BLM is doing clearly violates the law. They don’t have any legal standing whatsoever to do this and that’s why I have issued this letter today.”

In the letter, Gen. Abbott details five issues for the BLM to address:

  1. Please delineate with specificity each of the steps for the RMP/EIS process for property along the Red River.
  2. Please describe the procedural due process the BLM will afford to Texans whose property may be claimed by the federal government.
  3. Please confirm whether the BLM agrees that, from 1923 until the ratification of the Red River Boundary Compact, the boundary between Texas and Oklahoma was the gradient line of the south bank of the Red River. To the extent the BLM does not agree, please provide legal analysis supporting the BLM’s position.
  4. Please confirm whether the BLM still considers Congress’ ratification of the Red River Boundary Compact as determinative of its interest in land along the Red River? To the extent the BLM does not agree, please provide legal analysis supporting the BLM’s new position.
  5. Please delineate with specificity the amount of Texas territory that would be impacted by the BLM’s decision to claim this private land as the property of the federal government.

“The letter today,” Abbott explained, “is the first shot in the legal process. We expect answers from them and based upon their answers we will decide what legal action to take.”

“What Barack Obama’s BLM is doing,” Abbott continued, “is so out of bounds and so offensive that we should have quick and successful legal action if they dare attempt to tread on Texas land and take it from private property owners in this state.”

As to the timeline of how this matter moves forward Abbott explained that it is hard to tell how quickly or slowly the BLM might move on this matter. “One of the problems is, we can’t tell what they’re doing other than trying to operate in very suspicious ways. We want to make sure they are going to be open and transparent about what they are doing and that constitutional due process rights are going to be protected.”

Abbott told Breitbart Texas he wants to make sure the BLM understands that what they appear to be attempting to do is completely illegal. “This is Texas land. It belongs to Texas and the private property owners here,”

Abbott firmly stated. “If we have to, we will assert quick and effective legal action to put a stop to it.”

Expropriation, or the seizing of privately-held land by nation’s governments, is nothing new. It’s quite prevalent in Marxist-led nations, because, after all, under Marxism, the proletariat works for the glory of the State, which owns everything. Communism relieves the citizenry of the burden of private ownership. Acts of expropriation also can occur if you are a foreign business, operating in their country.

The Legal Dictionary explains it this way…

U.S. businesses were expropriated by the governments of both Cuba and Chile during socialist movements in those foreign countries. In May 1959, after Fidel Castro took over the Cuban government, the seizure of many large U.S. properties began. Before the revolution, U.S. corporations had controlled most of Cuba’s resources and over half of its sugar production. In 1960, the first shipment of Soviet oil arrived in Cuba. Under the advice of the U.S. Treasury Department, U.S. oil companies on the island refused to refine it. These refineries were then taken over by the Cuban government. The expropriation of U.S. property in Cuba and Cuba’s alliance with the Soviet Union eventually led to the United States’ breaking off all diplomatic relations and instituting an embargo.

In 1971, the Chilean people elected a socialist president, Salvador Allende. Soon afterward, the Chilean government began to expropriate U.S. businesses located in Chile. The primary U.S. business in Chile at this time was copper mining. When U.S.-owned mines were seized, in most cases, their owners were provided with adequate and prompt compensation. The El Teniente mine of the Kennecott Company was seized by the government for a much higher price than the book value. In 1970, government control over the industrial sector in Chile had been at 10 percent. One year after the election of President Allende, it was at 40 percent. By 1973, private banks; U.S. copper mines; the steel, cement, and coal industries; and all other vital areas of industry were in the hands of the Chilean state.

In both Cuba and Chile, the seized properties remain under the control of the foreign government.

Some of you are thinking that I am just being silly, that I am comparing apples and oranges, and that America’s not going to become a Socialist Country, like Cuba or Chile, anytime soon.

I pray that we don’t.

However, step back and look at things such as Common Core, The “Anti-Bully” Campaign in America’s Schools, the push to legalize marijuana in an attempt to dumb down the citizenry, the intentional weakening of our military through social engineering, Obamacare, and the attacks  against and suppression of  Conservative Groups by Obama’s Internal Revenue Service…and then tell me that “somethin’ awfuwwy scwewy’s’ not going on around here.

In a Gallup Poll, published on September 23, 2013, 60% of Americans believed that the Federal Government had too much Power.

After Obama’s attempted expropriation of the Bundy Ranch, and now private land in Texas, I wonder how many Americans believe that the Federal Government has too much power, now?

Palin, Abbott, & Nugent: Standing Up For Texas

2014 is here. The choices are becoming clearer, and the battle lines are being drawn. The GOP Beltway crowd has convinced itself that the way to maintain or retake the majority is through compromise and capitulation on important issues like amnesty, Obamacare, and the ever-increasing federal debt. They think that by making deals with a deeply unpopular and divisive incumbent president on issues that Americans oppose, they’ll somehow endear themselves to voters.

Enough is enough. The permanent political class in D.C. won’t listen. So, let’s start putting our efforts behind good new candidates who will go to Washington not to line their own pockets, but to help restore our country. It’s time to put inspiration, ingenuity, and integrity over incumbency in the GOP.

Let’s start in Texas. The lines couldn’t be clearer. Katrina Pierson is an emerging leader and important voice for the future of the grassroots conservative movement. Her life’s story is full of hardships she has fought to overcome, which taught her firsthand the importance of self-reliance, hard work, and the blessings of liberty.

A feisty fighter for freedom, Katrina is taking on a powerful incumbent who has so lost touch with the people of his district that he’s not even bothering to spend much time in Texas anymore. It’s not only his district he’s lost touch with, but also the issues important to the voters there. He used his powerful position to oppose the movement to defund Obamacare, has voted to raise the debt ceiling, and has been an advocate for the NSA intrusion into our freedoms. When asked about Katrina’s primary challenge, he said, “these things happen.” Yes, they do. We all know what happens when we come together to support a good candidate like Katrina – the permanent political class loses and We the People win! We win by electing a fighter we can depend on like Katrina Pierson. Ted Cruz calls Katrina “an utterly fearless principled conservative.” He should know. Katrina was among the conservative grassroots warriors in Texas who worked tirelessly to elect Senator Cruz.

Early voting started yesterday, Texas. Get out now and vote for Katrina. Send a message to the GOP elites on behalf of Katrina, just like you did for Ted Cruz in 2012.

And while you are out there voting for Katrina, check the box for another good conservative – Greg Abbott for Governor of Texas. Like Katrina, Greg has overcome many personal obstacles and challenges, which have made him a believer in the power of liberty and the need to defend our freedoms from the overreach of an out-of-control federal government. If he is good enough for Ted Nugent, he is good enough for me!

What does The Motor City Madman have to do with Greg Abbott, you ask? Well, besides the fact that they are both Great American Conservatives, Uncle Ted appeared with Texas Attorney General and Gubernatorial Candidate Abbott the other day, where, per usual, he spoke his mind…and got Liberals’ knickers in a twist…giving them an excuse for their usual outrageous outrage…as politico.com reports…

Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott says Ted Nugent is accompanying him on the trail to expose Wendy Davis’s weakness on gun rights.

Abbott, who has come under fire for campaigning with the controversial rocker, told reporters at an event in North Texas on Tuesday that his opponent was “suffering” for her views on the Second Amendment, and that Nugent would help voters see her as a flip-flopper. He also said Davis’s association with President Barack Obama was a bigger turn-off to Texans than his sharing the stage with Nugent.

“Sen. Davis knows she is suffering with voters because of her flipping and flopping on 2nd Amendment gun laws, and she knows that Ted Nugent calls her out on her disregard for Second Amendment rights,” Abbott said, according to a Dallas Morning News report. “We are going to expose Sen. Davis’s weaknesses on the Second Amendment and show that in this area and in so many other areas, she represents the liberalism of Barack Obama that is so bad for Texas.”

Davis has said she would support an “open carry” law in Texas, expanding current gun laws to match Abbott’s views.

Nugent is an outspoken gun rights advocate, who once suggested he would either be “dead or in jail” if Obama were reelected in 2012. He has come under sharp criticism for once calling Obama a “subhuman mongrel.”

Speaking at a campaign event, Nugent introduced Abbott as his “friend” and “blood brother,” as well as “the epitome of what our founding fathers wanted as a representative,” according to the San Antonio Express.

“We don’t have to question Greg Abbott’s courage — because he invited me here today,” he said.

The Liberal Elite are always offended when an American Conservative “speaks the truth and shames the Devil”.

And, with them running such a political lightweight as Wendy Davis in Texas as their Gubernatorial Candidate, they realize that they are going to have to pull out all the stops, including going Full Alinsky, by initiating Rule #12 from “Rules for Radicals” :

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

By targeting Ted Nugent, the Liberal Elite are trying to put pressure on Abbott to apologize for the “harsh” words of the Heavy Metal Icon.

Evidently, the Democrats think that the Attorney General will roll over like a puppy who wants his belly rubbed, a la John Boehner and the rest of the Vichy Republicans, up in the Beltway.

To use a Southern idiom, since Greg Abbott is a Son of Dixie, as am I, the Liberal Elite are as goofy as a pet ‘coon, if they think that the Texas Attorney General is going to sacrifice Fellow Conservative Ted Nugent, to the Gods of Liberal Propaganda.

They keep this smear campaign up and the Republican Gubernatorial Candidate will soon remind those “Nattering Nabobs of Negativity” why

Suffer Not the Little Children….

trayvonI’m a tender-hearted guy. That revelation comes as no surprise to you faithful readers, or those of you who have read any of the over 1,200 Blogs that I have written.

I come by it naturally, I suppose. Growing up, I can remember that my sister’s (who is 9 years older than me) friends, or one of my older cousins, always seemed to be camped out on our living room couch. My Mother and Daddy always seemed to be running a counseling service for those teenagers who were having trouble with their parents, or coping with life in general.

My Daddy was everybody’s Father Confessor. As I’ve written before, he was the finest man I have ever known. A WWII veteran, who survived landing at Normandy and cleaning out the Concentration Camps, equally as strong in his love for Jesus Christ, as he was in combat. The love he showed to everyone, from newborns to octogenarians, was embedded in me, as a living example of my Savior’s love.

And. now that I’m 54, I find myself mimicking my earthly Father, while being led by my Heavenly One. Looking back, I was the guy in high school and college, that the girls would come to to talk about how badly their boyfriends were treating them. And then, as a young adult, working out 6 times a week, I would be the first one friends would ask to help move them. Of course, that also was due to the fact that I drove a Dodge Dakota long-bed pickup truck. During that time, as a member of a young adult singing group, I often found myself singing at nursing homes, to an audience of appreciative octogenarians.

I was also the guy, whom young couples would get to baby-sit their kids, so they could have a night out. Go figure.

Anyway, in 2010, I started writing as a way to vent my frustrations with the injustice I saw happening around me. A fellow patriot, who I became friends with at the Conservative website, hotair.com, then operated by the great Conservative, Michelle Malkin, boasting the pen name of  “Manly Rash” (I kid you not), offered me the opportunity to post on his Blog, which I did, for a while, until I started my own in April of 2010.

God has given me the opportunity to speak out for what is right and just, and I don’t intend to stop doing that any time soon.

All that being said, yesterday I saw a photograph of the Pro-Abortion Paid Protesters, still disrupting the Legislative Session in Austin, Texas. These worshipers of Molech are protesting for the right to murder any potential Child of God, growing in their womb, up to the third trimester.

The word “ghoulish” somehow does not even seem to begin to cover it.

Anyway, to describe this photograph would not do it justice. I am going to reprint it and show it to you here. Please forgive me, gentle readers, because if you are like me, this image will haunt you for a while.

What sort of sick and twisted “Mother” would raise their precious young girl to do something like this?

For that matter, look at the case of Trayvon Martin’s Mother. The second thing she did, after getting Barack Obama and the Justice Brothers involved in her 17 year old thug son’s death, is to copyright his name, and begin to make money off of  his image as an innocent 12 year old, which, of course, he was not.

I have never been able to stomach mistreatment of children. I know it is because of my upbringing, in a stable Christian home. Nowadays, that familial situation, which my generation was so familiar with, is becoming more and more scare. In fact, it’s on the Obama’ Administration’s Hit List. You see, Liberals, Progressives, socialists, Alinskyites, worshipers of Molech, or whatever you want to call these yahoos, , want the “gub’mit”, good ol’ Uncle Sugar, to raise , educate, and pay for (with OUR tax money) their “chirren”.

Oh…they also want US to pay for the killing of their “inconvenient” babies, as well.

These “parents”, if they are not “Pookies”, sitting around on the couch, drinking Purple drank and smoking Blunts all day, while waiting on their “benefits”, are middle-class, self-absorbed , materialistic heathens, who are 30 year old adolescents, caring more about their own careers and social lives, than they are about leading a child “in the way in which they should go”.

The children, in both instances, are left to fend for themselves, and grow up thinking that the behavior they see on television and at home, is the behavior of every adult in America.

And, that is how that young woman, a child basically, wound up holding that vulgar sign, in the Capitol Building in Austin, Texas.

In the church I grew up in, in one of the Sunday School classrooms, was a painting of Jesus, seated, with a child on his lap, surrounded by little children, smiling and talking to them.

As a child growing up, I thought to myself, how great that must have to been to have Him for a friend.

Then, as I became older, I realized that I already did.

It breaks my heart that this young girl, standing holding a vulgar sign in Austin, Texas, and Trayvon Martin, now being made a meal of by Race-Baiting Vultures, were not introduced to such a Friend.

He would have made all the difference in their young lives.

Say It! SAY IT!…That’s a Human Being Inside That Womb!

babyreachingforhandfromwomb2With all the chaos going on in this nation right now, at the top of the “brush fire” issues is Abortion. To say that Americans are divided over the issue is an understatement.

The focal point, for both Pro-Life Americans, such as myself, and Anti-Life or Abortion supporters, is Austin, Texas, where the state legislature is about to pass a bill which would ban late-term abortions.

At issue are identical House and Senate bills that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, require that the procedure be performed at ambulatory surgical centers, mandate that doctors who perform abortions obtain admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles and that even nonsurgical abortions take place in a surgical center.

Only five out of 42 clinics in Texas qualify as ambulatory surgical centers, and they are in major metropolitan areas. Many clinics would need to relocate to meet ventilation requirements and to have the space required for operating rooms and hallways.

Opponents of the bill say the new requirements are unnecessary and would force most Texas abortion clinics to close. Supporters of the bills say they want to reduce access to abortion and improve women’s health care. Texas health officials report that 72,240 abortions performed in the state in 2011, including 374 that happened after 20 weeks.

The 20-week ban is based on the scientifically disputed claim that a fetus can feel pain by that point and thus, deserves protection from abortion.

Additionally, the state legislature in North Carolina have included similar restrictions in a pending bill which would also ban Sharia Law.

Needless to say, Liberals are losing the minds and, are seemingly, busing Pro-Abortion Protesters in from all across the country to both state capitals.

And, Planned Parenthood is in the middle of all of these “activists”, of course.

With the Texas House debate as a backdrop, Planned Parenthood kicked off a state-wide bus tour at the Texas Capitol Tuesday morning.

The tour began with a rally and a sea of signs in orange, blue, white and black. Thousands represented two sides of the same issue of abortion regulations in Texas and how they would impact women.

Lesli Simms has been to hearings and testimony since the debate began.

“Women of color, lower income women and women who are working a second or third job cannot be here today. That’s just a simple fact. But I can and I will be here every day that I’m required,” Simms said.

She told KVUE that she spent her 22nd birthday witnessing what turned out to be a historic night in the Texas Senate.

“That filibuster though was more than a single event to block a bad bill,” said Senator Wendy Davis of Fort Worth, who delivered the filibuster that prevented a vote on the abortion bill in the first special session. “It was an expression of democracy in action and a clear signal that Texans [had] had enough.”

The Pro-Abortion crowd, outside the Capitol Building in Austin, Texas ,,  or, “worshipers of Molech”, as I like to call them, last week were chanting “Hail, Satan!” and “Jesus should have been Aborted.” Yesterday, they were chanting “F!@k the Church!”

Classy.

Meanwhile, in North “Cadillaccy“…

In protest, more than 2,000 people gathered at the state capitol on Monday night, the largest gathering since the regular Moral Monday rallies began. And 64 pink-clad women’s health activists expressed their opposition to the proposed abortion restrictions by engaging in an act of civil disobedience, refusing to leave the legislative chamber and ultimately getting arrested.

Janet Colm, the president of Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina, was one of those activists. As she explains in an op-ed, she decided to engage in civil disobedience in order to send a message to the anti-choice state legislators who insist on trying to restrict reproductive rights at every turn. “I want these politicians to see that with every attack, they are creating a fierce and ever stronger opposition,” Colm explained. “We’re making it impossible for politicians to ignore us, no matter how hard they try.”

Now, let me try to wrap my feeble old Southern Cracker mind around this…these women are protesting for the right to kill an innocent HUMAN BEING in their own womb!

Of course, you won’t hear these “activists” call those innocent lives babies, human beings, a life, a soul, a gift from God, or anything remotely resembling something that they should feel remorse about killing.

Heck, Pro-Abortionists are opposed to the taking of sonograms of the woman’s womb, before she has a abortion. They’re afraid that the “seed-carrier” will realize that IS a HUMAN BEING inside her, and will decide not to kill that baby.

Whenever there is a situation like this, when Liberals will not call “a spade a spade”, my mind, unique space between my ears that it is, flashes back to this famous scene between the late great Rodney Dangerfield, and the late , great Sam Kinison, in the movie Back to School. Kinison is a history professor, and Dangerfield is the successful businessman father of an under-achieving freshman, who decides to go back to school, to be there for his son.

If Liberals, on both sides of the aisle, (because you cannot claim Conservatism, if you want to kill babies) would only perform a self-assessment, and come to the realization that the life inside a human mother’s womb, is in fact, a HUMAN BEING, and not “a bunch of cells,”, “a parasitic life form”, or “an inconvenience”, then abortion would go the way of the rotary telephone.

Unfortunately, though, when you have a president whose first act, upon obtaining the office, authorized money be sent to abortion clinics around the world, and who said, 

Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information,

that probably is not going to happen anytime soon.

However, we can still pray for our nation’s unborn. And, keep fighting the good fight!

Texas AG Tells OSCE, “Not in OUR Polling Places, You Don’t!”

One of our State Attorney Generals has told the OSCE from the United Nations that they’re going to have to wait outside, while Americans vote.

Texas authorities have threatened to arrest international election observers, prompting a furious response from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

“The threat of criminal sanctions against [international] observers is unacceptable,” Janez Lenarčič, the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), said in a statement. “The United States, like all countries in the OSCE, has an obligation to invite ODIHR observers to observe its elections.”

Lawmakers from the group of 56 European and Central Asian nations have been observing U.S. elections since 2002, without incident. Their presence has become a flashpoint this year, however, as Republicans accuse Democrats of voter fraud while Democrats counter that GOP-inspired voter ID laws aim to disenfranchise minority voters.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott further fueled the controversy on Tuesday when he sent a letter to the OSCE warning the organization that its representatives “are not authorized by Texas law to enter a polling place” and that it “may be a criminal offense for OSCE’s representatives to maintain a presence within 100 feet of a polling place’s entrance.”

The letter goes on to accuse the group of having met with liberal organizations that oppose Voter ID laws. The OSCE put out an interim report last week saying that “recent state-level legislative initiatives to limit early voting and introduce stricter voter identification have become highly polarized.”

“The OSCE may be entitled to its opinions about Voter ID laws, but your opinion is legally irrelevant in the United States, where the Supreme Court has already determined that Voter ID laws are constitutional,” Abbott wrote. “If OSCE members want to learn more about our election processes so they can improve their own democratic systems, we welcome the opportunity to discuss the measures Texas has implemented to protect the integrity of elections. However, groups and individuals from outside the United States are not allowed to influence or interfere with the election process in Texas.”

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) also weighed in, tweeting “No UN monitors/inspectors will be part of any TX election process; I commend @Txsecofstate for swift action to clarify issue.”

In letters to Abbott and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose State Department invited the 44 election observers, Lenarčič reiterated that the group is only there to observe the elections.

“Our observers are required to remain strictly impartial and not to intervene in the voting process in any way,” Lenarčič said in a statement. “They are in the United States to observe these elections, not to interfere in them.”

State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland sought to tone down the controversy during her briefing Thursday. The department is eager to avoid giving the impression that the United States is unwilling to submit to the same scrutiny it demands of others when it comes to human and civil rights.

“Since the initial issue with Texas we’ve received a letter, both for Secretary Clinton and one for Texas authorities, from the OSCE assuring us and Texas authorities that the OSCE observers are committed to following all U.S. laws and regulations as they do in any country where they observe elections and they will do so as well in Texas,” Nuland said. “To my knowledge [Texas] is the only state that came forward and said ‘please reassure us that you’re going to follow our state electoral law.’ And they have now been reassured.

The foreign observers set to monitor the U.S. presidential election for the first time ever this November said the election of a Florida Democrat as president of the group’s parliamentary assembly would not taint the group’s objectivity.

On July 9, U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings – criticized by conservatives for his ethics and partisanship – was elected president of the OSCE’s parliamentary assembly, a position that will allow him to appoint and assign OSCE’s election monitors.

Although the OSCE members present at the press conference insisted that Hastings would not be involved in observing the election on November 2, at least one member did concede that Hastings has influenced the process by playing a role in the selection of OSCE Vice President Barbara Haering, a Swiss parliamentarian who will lead the observer operations on Election Day.

Olszewski told CNSNews.com that the appointment of Haering means that Hastings will stay separate from the actual observation process.

But Peyton Knight, executive director of the conservative American Policy Center (APC) dismissed what he said were the OSCE’s and Hastings’ attempts to distance themselves from each other.

“That is quite a different tune that [Hastings] was playing two months ago,” Knight told CNSNews.com.

“As the parliamentary president, Hastings often declared that he would get to pick the observers that would be observing this election,” Knight said.

In August, the APC objected to Hastings’ role with the OSCE, partly because of his questionable ethics. Hastings was impeached in a bribery and perjury scandal when he was a federal judge.

Hastings became Florida’s first African-American U.S. District Court judge in 1979, nominated by then President Jimmy Carter. But nine years later, the U.S. House impeached Hastings for taking bribes from the federal bench and for perjury. The U.S. Senate subsequently convicted Hastings on the charges and removed him from office.

Hastings in 1992 ran for the Florida’s predominantly black 23rd district in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he still serves.

According to APC, which refers to Hastings as a “disgraced federal judge,” Hastings’ comments about the Bush administration, including a comment that the president’s re-election team would “try to steal this election,” jeopardize his impartiality.

Hastings also is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, a group still smarting over the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to stop Florida’s presidential ballot recount in 2000. The ruling effectively gave the election to George W. Bush.

…Knight said the APC’s objections to OSCE go beyond Hastings’ affiliation with the group.

“The OSCE is totally biased,” Knight said. He noted that OSCE observers are in the U.S. “at the behest of the most leftist Congress member on Capitol Hill, and that is who they are going to get their marching orders from.” Knight was referring to members of the Congressional Black Caucus and others.

“The OSCE monitoring of our elections is an insult to America and that is exactly what the few Democrats and internationalists in Congress want it to be – an insult. That was the goal,” Knight said.

“The other goal was to give false credence to claims that Republicans stole the election in 2000,” he added.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott was right in barring these “impartial observers” from entering OUR polling places.

The manner in which we exercise our right to vote, and, whom we vote for, is none of their business.

However, I do have a newsflash for the UN:

I do not think they are going to like the outcome of OUR  2012 Presidential Election.
