When Modern American Liberals decided to engage in their current battlefront in their ongoing war against Traditional American Ethics and Morality, their own hubris disallowed them from ever Imagining the blowback that they would receive in pursuit of their self-proclaimed “noble cause”.

The American Family Association said Friday that its #BoycottTarget pledge has reached 1 million signatures one week after the pro-family group called for consumers to boycott Target stores over the company’s bathroom policy that allows the use of restrooms and changing rooms according to gender identity.

“Earlier this month, the retail giant publicized its policy to allow self-identifying transgender individuals access to store bathrooms and fitting rooms that correspond with their own gender identity,” the AFA said in a statement Friday.

“AFA’s #BoycottTarget initiative has garnered widespread media attention, as AFA continues to maintain that while the Target policy aims to be welcoming to the transgender community, it opens the door for predators and voyeurs who would take advantage of such a policy,” the AFA added.

As CNSNews.com previously reported, Target said in a statement on its website last week that transgender individuals are welcome to use any bathroom that fits the gender they identify with.

“We believe that everyone—every team member, every guest, and every community—deserves to be protected from discrimination, and treated equally. Consistent with this belief, Target supports the federal Equality Act, which provides protections to LGBT individuals, and opposes action that enables discrimination,” the retail chain said.

“In our stores, we demonstrate our commitment to an inclusive experience in many ways. Most relevant for the conversations currently underway, we welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity,” it said.

“Corporate America must stop bullying people who disagree with the radical left agenda to remake society into their progressive image. #BoycottTarget has resonated with Americans,” AFA President Tim Wildmon said in a statement.

“Target’s harmful policy poses a danger to women and children; nearly everyone has a mother, wife, daughter or friend who is put in jeopardy by this policy.  Predators and voyeurs would take advantage of the policy to prey on those who are vulnerable. And it’s clear now that over one million customers agree,” Wildmon said.

“We want to make it very clear that AFA does not believe the transgender community poses this danger to the wider public,” Wildmon said. “Rather, this misguided and reckless policy provides a possible gateway for predators who are out there.”

Exactly, how large is the “Transgendered Population” in the United States of America?

If you listen to those, including President Barack Hussein Obama and his Administration, who are fighting so fervently for “Transgendered Rights”, you would think that the percentage of our overall population MUST be somewhere in the double digits.

You would be wrong.

Transgendered Americans actually only number somewhere around 700,000, about 0.3 percent of U.S. adults.

I suppose that the “coming out” of Former Olympic Decathalon and Reality TV Star Bruce Jenner as her new Transgendered Persona, “Caitlyn”, started this particular snowball down the hill.

President Ronald Reagan used to refer to the United States of America as “the shining city on a hill”. In the past 4 1/2 years, that shine has gotten tarnished.

This “Great Experiment” has been slowly turned into a Frankenstein’s Monster.

What was the very first thing that Barack Hussein Obama did when he took office? He signed an order giving American money to fund abortions all over the world. Yes, that’s right. His first priority was the taking of innocent lives.

However, this descent down the slippery slope in America has been going on for years.

Years ago, Liberals decided to put in a program of indoctrination into their belief system through the Department of Education.

They have attacked the most vulnerable of us, our children.

Through programs like “anti-bullying” and Common Core, all the things, such as Christian morality and ethics, which average Americans, living in the Heartland, have always taught our children and grandchildren, are being undone by the government, in a scenario eerily reminiscent of the Soviet Union or Communist China.

Uncle Sugar is telling our kids that it is alright for heather to have two Mommies, and Bobby not to know who his Daddy is.

They are also being taught in our schools that individual achievement is secondary to the welfare of everyone around them. In other words,

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.

Hey, kid. You didn’t build that.

Vladimir Lenin once said,

Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.

What happens when you give “The State” 12 years to indoctrinate your child. Or, 16 years, if they go to college?

Scary, when you think about it, huh?

So, is our present state of unrest and strife which we are experiencing in America, simply a matter of choice?

I believe that it is…one of individual freedom or subjugation to “princes and principalities”.

If I were the devil, I wouldn’t be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree—Thee. So I’d set about however necessary to take over the United States. I’d subvert the churches first—I would begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve: “Do as you please.” “Do as you please.” To the young, I would whisper, “The Bible is a myth.” I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around. Within a decade I’d have prisons overflowing, I’d have judges promoting pornography—soon I could evict God from the courthouse, and then the schoolhouse, and then from the houses of Congress. And in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and deify science. I would lure priests and pastors into misusing boys and girls, and church money. If I were the devil I’d make the symbols of Easter an egg and the symbol of Christmas a bottle.If I were the devil I’d take from those, and who have, and give to those wanted until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. What do you bet I could get whole states to promote gambling as the way to get rich? I would question against extremes and hard work, and Patriotism, and moral conduct. I would convince the young that marriage is old-fashioned, that swinging more fun, that what you see on the TV is the way to be. And thus I could undress you in public, and I could lure you into bed with diseases for which there is no cure. In other words, if I were to devil I’d keep on doing on what he’s doing.

So, are we doomed as a nation to continue to slide down this slippery slope we are traveling on? In the conclusion of “A Time for Choosing”, Ronald Reagan reminded us that the choice was ours to make…

They say the world has become too complex for simple answers. They are wrong. There are no easy answers, but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right. Winston Churchill said that “the destiny of man is not measured by material computation. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we are spirits–not animals.” And he said, “There is something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty.”

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.

As a Christian American Conservative, I believe that there is a divine spark within each one of us.

It is up to us , whether we choose to listen to that still, small voice, as He guides us through our choices we make everyday.

I also believe that this nation was forged by Christian Men, who were led by their Creator to seek the FREEDOM to worship him as they chose

In November of 2016, we have an opportunity to begin the journey back to reclaim the vision of our Forefathers.

It is, once again, “A Time For Choosing”.
