“Vichy” Senate Republicans Refuse to Take Away Baby Part Brokers’ Funding. Instead, Worry About “Civility”.

thUAICQZDUYesterday, the Establishment Republicans in the United States Senate decided to continue to support the selling of aborted babies’ body parts.

Foxnews.com reports that

The Senate held a rare Sunday session to cast key votes, but the real drama was several of the chamber’s senior Republicans chastising fellow GOP Sen. Ted Cruz for criticizing Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Sens. Orrin Hatch of Utah, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and John Cornyn of Texas each rose to counter a stunning floor speech Cruz gave onFriday accusing McConnell, R-Ky., of lying.

Cruz, from Texas and a 2016 presidential candidate, was never mentioned by name but was clearly the focus of the senators’ remarks.

“Squabbling and sanctimony may be tolerated in other venues and perhaps on the campaign trail, but they have no place among colleagues in the United States Senate,” said Hatch, the Senate’s president pro tempore.

Cruz then defended himself for making the accusation that McConnell had lied when he denied striking a deal to allow the vote to revive the Export-Import Bank.

“Speaking the truth about actions is entirely consistent with civility,” he said while also acknowledging that he agreed with Hatch’s calls for civility and that he was “not happy” about giving the floor speech Friday.

The drama preceded the upper chamber defeating a procedural vote to repeal ObamaCare and taking a step toward reviving the federal Export-Import Bank, both amendments on a must-pass highway bill.

Cruz also reiterated his complaint about McConnell.

“No member of this body has disputed that promise was made and that promise was broken,” he said.

Cruz’s floor speech Friday had brought nearly unheard-of drama and discord to the Senate floor. But the responses to it were just as remarkable, as senior Republicans united to defend an institution they revere and take down a junior colleague of their own party whom the appear to think has gone from being an occasional nuisance to a threat to the Senate’s ability to function with order.

Another one of the votes Sunday defeated Cruz’s attempt to overturn a ruling made Friday that blocked him from offering an amendment related to Iran.

McConnell has said that given support for the Export-Import Bank, no “special deal” was needed to bring it to a vote.

The little-known bank is a federal agency that helps foreign customers to buy U.S. goods. Conservatives oppose it as corporate welfare and are trying to end it. They won an early round, when congressional inaction allowed the bank to expire June 30 for the first time in 81 years.

But on Sunday, senators voted, 67-26, to advance legislation  to revive the bank across a procedural hurdle, making it likely that it will be added to the highway bill.

The bill was introduced by GOP Illinois Sen. Mark Kirk and North Dakota Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp. A vote on final passage could come as early Monday.

On a separate vote, the legislation to repeal ObamaCare failed to advance over a procedural hurdle. Sixty votes were needed but the total was 49-43.

The action came as the Senate tries to complete work on the highway bill ahead of a July 31 deadline. If Congress doesn’t act by then, states will lose money for highway and transit projects in the middle of the summer construction season.

With the Export-Import Bank likely added, the highway legislation faces an uncertain future in the House, where there’s strong opposition to the bank as well as to the underlying highway measure.

As I have written before, it has become quite evident to us average Americans out here in the Heartland, that those Establishment, or “Vichy” Republicans, who are currently in power in Washington, are serving themselves, rather than us.

Which is why those who dare call them on their malfeasance, such as Senator Cruz and this fellow, are so reviled by them.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa—Those who flocked to Donald Trump’s campaign event here this weekend said they liked the Republican presidential candidate’s willingness to make an unvarnished case for an antiestablishment campaign.

Interviews with dozens of the more than 1,000 people who came to see the reality-television star showed they have been drawn to him because of their skepticism of polished politicians.

“I am the silent majority. He talks for me,” said Jill Jepsen, a 61-year-old Oskaloosa retiree who brought her copy of Mr. Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal,” first published in 1987, for him to sign.

Mr. Trump’s candidacy for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination has left GOP elders in Washington, Des Moines and at campaign headquarters across the country mystified. They are convinced the New York developer’s time in the political spotlight is limited, though there’s little evidence in the polling that Mr. Trump’s surge will soon diminish.

A CNN poll released Sunday showed Mr. Trump leading the GOP field nationwide, while an NBC/Marist survey showed him ranking first in New Hampshire and a close second to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker in Iowa, both early nominating states.

Republicans who consider themselves disenfranchised from the political mainstream see Mr. Trump as a candidate they have long waited for: Someone who shares their opinions on issues like immigration—he warned last month that some Mexicans entering the country illegally are drug traffickers and rapists—that they feel members of the GOP establishment are too timid to broadcast

Average Americans want common sense Conservative American Leadership.

LEADERS WHO WILL REPRESENT THEM…not themselves.

Leaders who will stand up to our Petulant Prevaricating President.

Americans want someone who can speak like this:

I don’t believe the people I’ve met in almost every State of this Union are ready to consign this, the last island of freedom, to the dust bin of history, along with the bones of dead civilizations of the past. Call it mysticism, if you will, but I believe God had a divine purpose in placing this land between the two great oceans to be found by those who had a special love of freedom and the courage to leave the countries of their birtI don’t believe the people I’ve met in almost every State of this Union are ready to consign this, the last island of freedom, to the dust bin of history. From our forefathers to our modern-day immigrants, we’ve come from every corner of the earth, from every race and every ethnic background, and we’ve become a new breed in the world. We’re Americans and we have a rendezvous with destiny. We spread across this land, building farms and towns and cities, and we did it without any federal land planning program or urban renewal.

Indeed, we gave birth to an entirely new concept in man’s relation to man. We created government as our servant, beholden to us and possessing no powers except those voluntarily granted to it by us. Now a self-anointed elite in our nation’s capital would have us believe we are incapable of guiding our own destiny. They practice government by mystery, telling us it’s too complex for our understanding. Believing this, they assume we might panic if we were to be told the truth about our problems.

Why should we become frightened? No people who have ever lived on this earth have fought harder, paid a higher price for freedom, or done more to advance the dignity of man than the living Americans the Americans living in thisland today. There isn’t any problem we can’t solve if government will give us the facts. Tell us what needs to be done. Then, get out of the way and let us have at it.

That was Ronald Wilson Reagan, the greatest American President in my lifetime, a man who brought us together, instead of pitting us against each other….a man who stood up to tyranny, instead of embracing it…a man who fought for the rights of the unborn…instead of declaring them “a punishment”…A LEADER…NOT A FOLLOWER.

Until the good ol’ boys in the Northeast Republicans’ Club, or Vichy Republicans, as I like to call them, realize that the majority of Americans out here in the Heartland are still Conservative “bitter clingers” who love God and country, they, like Eric Cantor before them, will be victims of their own hubris, and will lose their cushy jobs.

And, it will be nobody’s fault but their own,

Bernie Sanders: A Political Career Built on “Running Out of Other People’s Money”

thROUC0M5DBernie Sanders  is a self-identified socialist, who served in the House of Representatives from 1991 to 2007, founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and has served in the U.S. Senate since 2007.

He has announced that he will compete against Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic Nomination for their Presidential Candidate.

ABC.go.com reports that

Newly declared presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders said today he hopes to lead a “political revolution” for working families and against money in politics in his bid for the White House.”I think I’m the only candidate who’s prepared to take on the billionaire class,” Sanders, I-Vt., told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.” “We need a political revolution in this country involving millions of people who are prepared to stand up and say, enough is enough, and I want to help lead that effort.”

Sanders, who will run in the Democratic primary against Hillary Clinton, told ABC’s Jonathan Karl earlier this week the millions of dollars flowing into the Clinton Foundation poses a “very serious problem.”

“It’s not just Hillary. It’s the Koch Brothers. It is Sheldon Adelson,” he said, referring to billionaire backers of conservative causes and candidates. “Can somebody who is not a billionaire who stands for working families actually win an election?”

Sanders could challenge Clinton from her left. He opposed the Iraq War, which Clinton supported in the Senate, and is against Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement, which the Obama administration is trying to get through Congress.

Clinton fully supported TPP as secretary of state but has raised reservations about it since announcing her presidential bid.

“Hillary Clinton has been part of the political class for many, many years,” Sanders said. “I respect her and I like her, but I think what the American people are saying, George, is … maybe it’s time for a real political shakeup in this country.”

He has raised more than $1.5 million since announcing his campaign on Thursday, but has pledged not to have a Super PAC that could accept unlimited contributions.

A self-described socialist who won his first election to become mayor of Burlington, Vermont, by just 10 votes, Sanders has a message for his doubters.

“Very few people thought that I would beat an incumbent Republican to become United States congressman from Vermont by 16 points,” Sanders said. “And people weren’t so sure I could beat the richest person in Vermont to become a United States senator.

“Don’t underestimate me,” he added.

I don’t intend to, Bernie.

There’s too much information available on just how dangerous a person you are.

Per discoverthenetworks.org,

Bernard “Bernie” Sanders was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 8, 1941, to Polish immigrants of Jewish descent. After attending Brooklyn College for one year, he transferred to the University of Chicago (UC) and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1964. At UC, Sanders joined the Young Peoples Socialist League (youth wing of the Socialist Party USA) as well as the Congress of Racial Equality and the Student Peace Union.

After college, Sanders lived briefly on an Israeli kibbutz, then moved to Vermont where he worked variously as a carpenter, filmmaker, writer, and researcher. In 1971 he joined the anti-war Liberty Union Party (LUP), on whose ticket he made unsuccessful runs for the U.S. Senate in 1972 and 1974, and for Governor of Vermont in 1976. Sanders’s LUP platform called for the nationalization of all U.S. banks, public ownership of all utiliies, and the establishment of a worker-controlled federal government.

Sanders resigned from LUP in 1979 and became a political Independent. Two years later he was elected mayor of Burlington, Vermont, a post he held until 1989. Sanders created some controversy when he hung a Soviet flag in his mayoral office, in honor of Burlington’s Soviet sister city Yaroslav.

According to an Accuracy In Media report, Sanders during the 1980s “collaborated with Soviet and East German ‘peace committees'” whose aim was “to stop President Reagan’s deployment of nuclear missiles in Europe.” Indeed, he “openly joined the Soviets’ ‘nuclear freeze’ campaign to undercut Reagan’s military build-up.”

In 1985 Sanders traveled to Managua, Nicaragua to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the rise to power of Daniel Ortega and his Marxist-Leninist Sandinista government.

In 1986 Sanders ran unsuccessfully for Governor of Vermont, and two years later he made a failed bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

In November 1989 Sanders addressed the national conference of the U.S. Peace Council, a Communist Party USA front. The event focused on how to “end the Cold War” and “fund human needs.” Fellow speakers included such notables as Leslie Cagan, John Conyers, and Manning Marable.

Choosing not to seek re-election to a fifth term as mayor, Sanders spent 1989-90 working as a lecturer at Hamilton College in upstate New York and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

By 1990 Sanders was a leading member of Jesse Jackson’s National Rainbow Coalition, and he ran successfully for Congress as a socialist, representing Vermont’s single at-large congressional district. The following year, Sanders founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus along with fellow House members Tom Andrews, Peter DeFazio, Ron Dellums, Lane Evans, and Maxine Waters.

During the 1990s, Sanders participated multiple times in the Socialist Scholars Conferences that were held annually in New York City.

…Sanders has long maintained that “global warming/climate change” not only threatens “the fate of the entire planet,” but is caused chiefly by human industrial activity and must be curbed by means of legislation strictly limiting carbon emissions. In 2007 Sanders and Senator Barbara Boxer proposed the Global Warming Pollution Reduction Act, which, according to an MIT study, would have imposed on U.S. taxpayers a yearly financial burden of more than $4,500 per family, purportedly to check climate change. In February 2010 Sanders likened climate-change skeptics to people who had disregarded the Nazi threat prior to WWII: “During that period of Nazism and fascism’s growth … there were people in this country and in the British parliament who said, ‘Don’t worry! Hitler’s not real! It’ll disappear!’” Accusing “big business” of being “willing to destroy the planet for short-term profits,” Sanders in 2013 said that “global warming is a far more serious problem than al Qaeda.” Stating unequivocally that “the scientific community is unanimous” in its belief that “the planet is warming up,” Sanders the following year declared that the “debate is over” and emphasized the importance of “transform[ing] our energy systems away from fossil fuels.”

In September 2011, Sanders was the first U.S. Senator to support the anti-capitalist Occupy Wall Street movement, lauding its activists for focusing a “spotlight” on the need for “real Wall Street reform.”

In March 2013, Sanders and fellow Senator Tom Harkin together introduced a bill to tax Wall Street speculators. “Both the economic crisis and the deficit crisis are a direct result of the greed, recklessness, and illegal behavior on Wall Street,” said Sanders.

Over the years, Sanders’s political campaigns have received strong support from such organizations as the AFL-CIO, the American Association for Justice, the Backbone Campaign, the Council for a Livable World, the Democratic Socialists of America, and Peace Action.

In other words, he’s a Far Left, Socialist Whackjob.

We are already suffering under one Far Left Socialist Whackjob, we sure as heck don’t need to follow up this present Presidential Nightmare with another.

French sociologist and political theorist Alexis de Tocqueville (1805-1859) traveled to the America in 1831 to study our prisons and returned to France with a wealth of broader observations that he compiled together in “Democracy in America” (1835), one of the most influential books of the 19th century. With its spot-on observations on equality and individualism, Tocqueville’s work remains a valuable explanation of America to Europeans and of Americans to ourselves.

He once observed that

Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.

In other words, the failed political ideology of socialism takes away the exhilaration and fulfillment of individual achievement and replaces it with self-sacrifice in servitude to the State, for the good of the Central  Nanny-State Government, which, in turn, promises to “share the wealth”, but, as was the case in the old Soviet Union, and more recently, Venezuela, never does.

The great Sir Winston Churchill once said that

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.

I would rather be blessed than miserable.

How about you?

Boehner Invites Netanyahu to Speak to Congress. Doesn’t Tell Obama.

netahyahucongressIf you were the Speaker of the House, and you want to cut through the b.s. coming from the Administration, in regards to our mortal enemy, the rogue nation of Iran, what would you do?

You would invite an expert on the country of Iran. Somebody that will shoot from the hip and tell the whole unvarnished truth about that rogue nation.

Sound good? Well, that’s exactly what the Speaker of the Republican-controlled House of Representatives did.

Nationaljournal.com has the story…

President Obama warned Congress Tuesday night that he would veto any new sanctions legislation on Iran, saying it would derail U.S. negotiations in the Middle East. But John Boehner isn’t ready to sit out the battle over Iran’s nuclear program.

“[Obama’s] exact message to us was: ‘Hold your fire.’ He expects us to stand idly by and do nothing while he cuts a bad deal with Iran. Two words: ‘Hell no!'” the House speaker said during his weekly press briefing on Wednesday. “We’re going to do no such thing.”

President Obama warned Congress Tuesday night that he would veto any new sanctions legislation on Iran, saying it would derail U.S. negotiations in the Middle East. But John Boehner isn’t ready to sit out the battle over Iran’s nuclear program.

“[Obama’s] exact message to us was: ‘Hold your fire.’He expects us to stand idly by and do nothing while he cuts a bad deal with Iran. Two words: ‘Hell no!'” the House speaker said during his weekly press briefing on Wednesday. “We’re going to do no such thing.”

Instead, Boehner has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress next month. He didn’t consult with the White House before extending the invitation, and administration officials are not happy. Press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday afternoon that Boehner’s invitation is a breach of normal diplomatic protocol. Typically, a nation’s leader would contact the White House before planning a visit to the United States, he said. The White House heard about the invite from Boehner’s office, not from the Israelis.

According to pool reports, Earnest called the invite “interesting,” and when asked if the White House was annoyed because Boehner did not reach out first, he said, “No.”

Earnest said the White House is reserving judgment about the invite until U.S. officials talk to their Israeli counterparts. Boehner’s office confirmed that Netanyahu has accepted, and will give a speech to a joint session of Congress on Feb. 11. The date is significant: It’s the 36th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution.

The Boehner decision may be unprecedented, especially if the bigger breach of protocol is not that the White House didn’t know, but that the White House wasn’t involved in the invitation.

However, this isn’t the first time a House speaker has reached out to a world leader despite a White House request to stay back. In April 2007, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi traveled to Syria to meet with President Bashar al-Assad despite the Bush administration’s objections. Pelosi wanted to start a dialogue with Syria, as diplomatic relations had broken down in the 1990s; President George W. Bush rejected such negotiation, saying, “Sending delegations doesn’t work.”

The speaker said in a statement Wednesday that he invited Netanyahu “to address Congress on the grave threats radical Islam and Iran pose to our security and way of life.”

A yearlong effort led by Secretary of State John Kerry to reach a deal with Iran to dismantle parts of its nuclear program failed in November, forcing the U.S. and its allies to declare a seven-month extension on negotiations. Republicans say these kinds of concessions—and any future ones—are putting U.S. security at risk, according to a House leadership aide.

Kerry said Wednesday afternoon that Netanyahu is “welcome” to speak in the U.S. any time, but learning of the prime minister’s next visit from Boehner’s office was “unusual,” reports CBS News’ Margaret Brennan.

Boehner’s invite adds fuel to a potential showdownbetween Congress and the White House over Iran, one that could lead to the first successful veto override of Obama’s tenure as president. Twelve Democrats in the Senate have previously cosponsored legislation to impose sanctions on Iran. If they continue to call for sanctions alongside their Republican colleagues, the Senate may have the two-thirds majority necessary to override an Obama veto.

I reported, earlier this year, that President Obama had been sending secret letters to the Head Ayatollah in Iran, a country who sponsors Islamic Terrorism, with whom we have not had diplomatic relations since the Radical Muslims took over, after they revolted against the Moderate Government of the Shah in 1979.

Petulant President Pantywaist is pussy-footin’ around with a nation run by Radical Muslims, who hate our ever-lovin’ guts.

Reuters News-Canada recently reported that

Iran could become a “very successful regional power” if Tehran agrees to a long-term deal to curb its nuclear program, President Barack Obama said in an interview with NPR News.

“They’ve got a chance to get right with the world,” Obama said in the interview, which was taped at the White House on Dec. 18 and is set to air this week.

More than a year ago, Iran agreed to an interim plan to halt higher-level uranium enrichment in exchange for a limited easing in financial sanctions pending negotiations on a long-term deal. Those talks have now been extended to next June.

Iran has said its nuclear program is for peaceful energy use, but the United States and five other powers want to make sure that Tehran cannot quickly develop nuclear weapons.

Obama told NPR that Iran should seize the chance of a deal that could lift crippling sanctions.

“Because if they do, there’s incredible talent and resources and sophistication inside of Iran and it would be a very successful regional power that was also abiding by international norms and international rules – and that would be good for everybody,” he said.

Obama insisted a nuclear deal was possible, although Vice President Joe Biden earlier this month said he thought there was a “less than even shot” of an agreement.

Obama said he recognized that Iran has “legitimate defense concerns” after it “suffered from a terrible war with Iraq” in the 1980s. But he criticized Tehran for its “adventurism, the support of organizations like Hizbollah, the threats they’ve directed at Israel.”

Why doesn’t he just go ahead and help them with their “Nuclear Enhancement Program”, so they can launch one at us quicker, while he’s at it?

He negotiates with those who want to kill us, and gives ultimatums to his own countrymen.

Some observations…

1 The Iranian Government is not secular. It is the product of a fanatical political ideology, disguised as a “faith”. The Ayatollahs rule Iran. The President and “Secular Government” carry out their wishes, and are simply figureheads.

2. Nowhere in Obama’s Negotiations with Iran, has he or Secretary of State John Kerry called for the halt of Uranium Enrichment in Iran.

3. A Christian American Pastor, Saeed Abedini, has been held in jail by the Iranian Government, since the summer of 2012. Why does the Obama Administration care more about negotiating appeasement with a hostile, barbaric Foreign Government, than securing the freedom of an American Christian Pastor?

Wars have been started for less than that.

President Reagan advised to “Trust, but Verify”.

Evidently, Obama’s message is to “Trust Islam…Alienate Israel”.

I am glad that Boehner finally grew a spine and asked Prime Minister Netanyahu to come and speak about the barbaric nation of Iran.

At least, Boehner is trusting our friend and not our enemy.

Unlike the Manchurian President.

Obama’s State of Denial…Err…the Union 2015

AFBrancoMiddleClass12015Just one more State of the Union Speech under Barack Hussein Obama left (Praise God).

Courtesy of USAToday.com, here are some excerpts from last night’s :

“We are fifteen years into this new century. Fifteen years that dawned with terror touching our shores; that unfolded with a new generation fighting two long and costly wars; that saw a vicious recession spread across our nation and the world. It has been, and still is, a hard time for many.

But tonight, we turn the page.”

“At this moment — with a growing economy, shrinking deficits, bustling industry, and booming energy production — we have risen from recession freer to write our own future than any other nation on Earth. It’s now up to us to choose who we want to be over the next fifteen years, and for decades to come.

Will we accept an economy where only a few of us do spectacularly well? Or will we commit ourselves to an economy that generates rising incomes and chances for everyone who makes the effort?”

“So the verdict is clear. Middle-class economics works. Expanding opportunity works. And these policies will continue to work, as long as politics don’t get in the way.”

“In fact, at every moment of economic change throughout our history, this country has taken bold action to adapt to new circumstances, and to make sure everyone gets a fair shot. We set up worker protections, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to protect ourselves from the harshest adversity. We gave our citizens schools and colleges, infrastructure and the internet — tools they needed to go as far as their effort will take them.

“That’s what middle-class economics is — the idea that this country does best when everyone gets their fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same set of rules.”

“I believe in a smarter kind of American leadership. We lead best when we combine military power with strong diplomacy; when we leverage our power with coalition building; when we don’t let our fears blind us to the opportunities that this new century presents. That’s exactly what we’re doing right now — and around the globe, it is making a difference.”

“In Iraq and Syria, American leadership — including our military power — is stopping ISIL’s advance. Instead of getting dragged into another ground war in the Middle East, we are leading a broad coalition, including Arab nations, to degrade and ultimately destroy this terrorist group. We’re also supporting a moderate opposition in Syria that can help us in this effort, and assisting people everywhere who stand up to the bankrupt ideology of violent extremism. This effort will take time. It will require focus. But we will succeed. And tonight, I call on this Congress to show the world that we are united in this mission by passing a resolution to authorize the use of force against ISIL.”

“No foreign nation, no hacker, should be able to shut down our networks, steal our trade secrets, or invade the privacy of American families, especially our kids. We are making sure our government integrates intelligence to combat cyber threats, just as we have done to combat terrorism. And tonight, I urge this Congress to finally pass the legislation we need to better meet the evolving threat of cyber-attacks, combat identity theft, and protect our children’s information. If we don’t act, we’ll leave our nation and our economy vulnerable. If we do, we can continue to protect the technologies that have unleashed untold opportunities for people around the globe.”

B.S. ad infinitum. Forget the shoes. Save the watch.

As an asthmatic child, I was sick…a lot. I found an escape from my condition in the world of comic books.

My favorite comic book hero was Superman. He fought for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. He went about doing good.

One of Superman’s biggest foes was Bizarro, a Superman created in his image, who turned out to be the exact opposite of Superman. In fact, the entire world that this character lived on was bizarre…just like whatever planet that Barack Hussein Obama is currently living on.

…Because he sure isn’t living on this one.

As I wrote yesterday, all of Obama’s Domestic Policies have failed spectacularly.

37.2% of America’s Workforce…are no longer in it.

Obama attempt to cram Marxist Economic Theory down our throats still tastes as sour as when he told Joe the Plumber that “spreading the wealth around is good for everybody”.

This failed president still insists that Socialism will work here, despite the fact that it has failed everywhere else that it has been tried.

His Foreign Policy has been a disaster.

ISIS is laughing in his face. Iran continues its “Nuclear Enrichment Program”. And, just yesterday, Muslim Terrorists invaded the Palace in Yemen’s Capital.

“A smarter kind of leadership”, my hindquarters.

Concerning the Internet, Obama and his minions don’t want to protect our FREEDOM, they want to LIMIT IT.

After all, no one should insult the name of the Prophet…or Obama.

Obama’s incompetency, accompanied by his undeserved arrogant aloofness, has finally started to hit home with even his most ardent supporters.

His dwindling cadre of supporters will continue to make excuses for Obama’s failures, but nobody’s buying it, here or abroad.  Obama has stubbornly set himself on his own flight path and, after the Political Massacre of the November Mid-Term Election,  the next two years promises to be the longest kamikaze flight on record.

One could possibly use the Peter Principle to describe this Manchurian President.

The Peter Principle is a theory that proposes that, as people rise in a hierarchy, they eventually rise to their level of incompetence.

However, that does not apply in the case of President Barack Hussein Obama.

He started out unvetted and incompetent.

Now, he’s become a disaster.

Senate Approves Nomination of Gun Control/Obamacare Advocate For Surgeon General

vivek murthyFor those who have not figured it out by now, let ol’ KJ clue you in: Everything that President Obama does has a political purpose. Political expediency always outweighs any concern he may have for the best thing to do for America.

The choosing of his latest cabinet member is not the exception to that rule, as Fox News reports…

The Senate on Monday approved President Obama’s nomination of Dr. Vivek Murthy to serve as U.S. surgeon general, despite opposition from Republicans and some Democrats over his support for gun control and past statements that gun violence is a public health issue.

Murthy, 37, a physician at Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and instructor at Harvard Medical School, won confirmation on a vote of 51-43. He’s a co-founder of Doctors for America, a group that has pushed for affordable health care and supports Obama’s health care law.

Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., said most of Murthy’s career has been spent as an activist focused on gun control and other political issues, rather than on treating patients. “Americans don’t want a surgeon general who might use this position of trust to promote his own personal campaign against the Second Amendment of the Constitution,” Barrasso said.

Supporters said Murthy is well-qualified and noted his promise not to use the position as a bully pulpit for gun control.

The nation has been without a Senate-confirmed surgeon general since July 2013. The surgeon general does not set policy but is an advocate for the people’s health.

Murthy’s confirmation “makes us better positioned to save lives around the world and protect the American people here at home,” President Barack Obama said in a statement. Murthy “will also help us build on the progress we’ve made combatting Ebola, both in our country and at its source” in West Africa.

Murthy’s confirmation represented a rare defeat for the National Rifle Association, which told senators that a vote for Murthy would be scored against them when they rate lawmakers’ votes during election campaigns.

Senate Majority Whip Richard Durbin, D-Ill., said Murthy has been “pilloried and excoriated” by the NRA and its supporters for his backing of stricter gun laws, including an assault weapons ban, and statements that gun violence is a public health issue.

Murthy has made clear he is not “aspiring to be the leading doctor in America to engage in a political debate, but rather to engage in public health debates about obesity and tobacco and things that make a dramatic difference to the lives of so many people who live in this country,” Durbin said.

Murthy expressed support for gun control in a letter to Congress after the Newtown, Connecticut, school shooting.

His nomination was endorsed by more than 100 health organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.

On February 28, 2014, the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action posted the following information about Dr. Murthy on their website:

In 2008, Dr. Murthy co-founded the organization “Doctors for Obama” in order to support the presidential campaign of then-Senator Barack Obama and his plans for health care reform. A year later, the group changed its name to “Doctors for America.”

In his capacity as president of “Doctors for America,” Dr. Murthy has offered his support for a wide array of gun control policies that have been repeatedly rejected by the American people and their elected representatives.

A recent letter sent to Congress by “Doctors for America,” and signed by Dr. Murthy, urges mandatory licensing “for anyone purchasing guns and ammunition–including mandatory firearm safety training and testing.” Under Dr. Murthy’s scheme, further regulations would place “limits on the purchase of ammunition,” and establish a “mandatory waiting period of at least 48 hours.”

In the letter, Dr. Murthy also advocates for a “federal ban on the sale” of popular semi-automatic firearms and their ammunition, and proposes a “buyback” of these popular types of firearms to “reduce the number… that are currently in circulation.” Even some of the most ardent anti-gun researchers, along with the Department of Justice, have admitted the futility of gun “buyback” programs.

Another of Dr. Murthy’s proposals would strip vital privacy protections put in place to protect firearm owners and prevent the fracturing of physician-patient relationships. The letter, for example, calls for removing “the provision in the Affordable Care Act and other federal policies that prohibit physicians from documenting gun ownership.” While some advocates of the ACA had argued the provision prohibiting such documentation was unnecessary, given that the ACA had nothing to do with guns, Dr. Murthy obviously sees the ACA as playing a role in gun control.

And, in late 2012 and early 2013, Dr. Murthy took to his personal Twitter account to promote his gun control beliefs, including a statement on October 16, 2012, that “Guns are a health care issue.”

Under Dr. Murthy’s leadership, a 2013 Doctors for America petition urged Congress to “immediately” pass a ban on popular semi-automatic firearms and their magazines. Doctors for America also signed on in support of Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s expansive “Assault Weapons Ban of 2013.”

The American people deserve a Surgeon General who will carry out the mission of the office unmotivated by political or ideological goals. Given Dr. Murthy’s lengthy history of hostility towards the right to keep and bear arms, along with his calls for the full weight of the federal government’s health apparatus to be used to target lawful gun ownership, there is strong reason to believe that he would use the influence of the Surgeon General’s office to promote gun control. Simply put, confirmation of Dr. Murthy is a prescription for disaster for America’s gun owners.

The NRA could very well be right.

While the Affordable Care Act does not require physicians to ask their patients if they own a gun, Liberal Doctors often do. In fact, Liberal Pediatricians ask children if their parents have firearms in the house.

Luckily, Americans are still well within their Constitutional Rights to tell these Liberal Doctors that it is none of their business. However, what’s going to happen, now that an anti-gun activist has become the Surgeon General of the United States of America?

The greatest United States President in my lifetime, Ronald Wilson Reagan, said the following about Gun Control:

You won’t get gun control by disarming law-abiding citizens. There’s only one way to get real gun control: Disarm the thugs and the criminals, lock them up and if you don’t actually throw away the key, at least lose it for a long time… It’s a nasty truth, but those who seek to inflict harm are not fazed by gun controllers. I happen to know this from personal experience.

Unfortunately, we have a president who encourages riots and demonstrations on the behalf of fallen criminals.

So, that being said, why would a United States President push so hard for Gun Control?

…Unless his purpose was to control law-abiding citizens.

Torture, “Terrorists’ Rights”, and America’s Continued Sovereignty (A KJ Op Ed)

obamamyworkThis week, America’s attention has been focused on a report issued by Dianne Feinstein, Senator from California, concerning the supposed use of torture, perpetrated by the Central Intelligence Agency, against our mortal enemies, Radical Muslim Terrorists.

Feinstein and her supporters’ purpose in publishing this report, is as transparent as an aquarium.

The majority of all these offenses, correct that, supposed offenses, took place during the Bush Administration, an Administration which has been over with since January 21st of 2009.

Their faux concern for the rights of these Muslim Terrorists, who were supposedly tortured by the CIA, is nothing but an act of political expediency.

This squirrel moment which they have produced, is nothing but a diversion, deliberately planned for this moment, in order to take attention away from a horrible president and an equally horrible Congress, who hope to do something drastic and dramatic in their last days, before the Republicans completely take over both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

With this going on, along with the demonstrations and riots, which are being coordinated across the country, to take advantage of the deaths of two career criminals, America is being intentionally divided by the Democrats as never before.

We are supposed to be the United States of America, not a divided Socialist State.

However, that appears to be what Obama, his Administration, and all of their minions are attempting to forcibly move us toward.

Make no mistake, all of this is happening for a reason. It is being coordinated behind the scenes, and it’s being done for the purpose of dividing and conquering those who oppose the implementation of the tenets of Marxism and the dissolution, i.e.,”Radical Change”, of our Constitutional Republic.

This latest effort to brand those who have been responsible for protecting our nation, through the use of espionage, as some sort of animals, while at the same time presenting our barbaric enemies, who would behead each and every one of us, if given the opportunity, as helpless victims of torture, has been disgustingly weak and anti-American, all at the same time.

The former college protesters and trust fund babies, who are presently in charge of our government, are spineless by their very nature, and are lower than the common weasel.

As I have told you many times, I was raised by members of the Greatest Generation. My parents suffered through the Great Depression, and my Daddy landed on Normandy Beach on June 6th 1945, as a Master Sergeant in an Army Engineering Unit.

What these clowns in Washington and elsewhere are doing right now, dishonors their memory and the memory of every member of that generation, what they fought and died for, and what they went through while serving the war effort here at home.

Not only that, but these Far Left Radicals, who have cut their hair, gotten older, and become respectful enough to run for office, and all who support their policies, are spitting on the graves of all those brave fighting men and women who died fighting for our freedom during our wars in the Middle East, under both Presidents Bush and Obama.

It’s disgusting.

This New Democratic Party, composed of Far Left Radicals, who booed at the prospect of including God in their platform during the last presidential election, are pitiful, ungrateful creatures.

They use our freedom of speech to denigrate and run down this country, while emboldening our enemies, to the point where the United Nations, who, quite frankly, is composed of those who want to see us brought to our knees, are now insisting that the United States should appear before the International Court, for our actions.

Let me tell any idiotic individuals who might support this, the way I feel about “answering” to the United Nations.

The United States of America is a Sovereign Nation, created by the blood, sweat, and tears of men and women, who rise above you in stature, honor, integrity, and courage to the point where you are not even fit enough to tie their boots.

All those things that you got away with in college, including burning our flag, protesting, being ungrateful, obnoxious, and unpatriotic, does not fly with the overwhelming majority of Americans.

What Americans have witnessed since August, until today, have disgusted Patriotic Americans to the point of rage.

Speaking for myself, if I could reach through the internet, and throttle you ungrateful whelps, for all the anti-American and just downright stupid, ignorant, and dangerous remarks that you are making about those who are protecting your very lives, and the United States of America, which has taken care of your needs, since you were born, I would, at this point, without hesitation.

God forgive me.

And, if you clowns think that waterboarding is torture, you have issues.

Torture involves cutting off a body parts, pulling out fingernails, and placing electrodes on your nether regions.

I have an idea, though.

Why don’t all of you super geniuses move to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, or Iran and volunteer to join up with ISIS or the Muslim Brotherhood, as a “Freedom Fighter”?

I am positive that they would be delighted to explain to you the definition of torture.

Mind your heads.

Obama Rubbing Hands in Glee, Preparing to Grant Mass Amnesty

illegal immigration 7714President Barack Hussein Obama plans on issuing an Executive order, rewarding as many as 5,000,000 criminals with a “Get Out of Jail Free” card.

And, he couldn’t be more pleased with himself.

According to fusion.net,

It’s time for another showdown in the country’s capital. Republicans won the Senate and full control of Congress in the midterm elections. The president is reportedly about to counter with executive action on immigration reform, though nobody knows how far he’ll go.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told Fusion’s Jorge Ramos that the White House hasn’t made a final decision, but the president is ready to make good on his promise to act on behalf of the nation’s undocumented immigrants in the absence of a new law before the end of the year.

“The president is disappointed that this legislative solution won’t be achieved, but the president is looking forward to taking executive action on his own, to solve as many of these problems as he can,” Earnest said.

Few things will rile Republicans more than unilateral White House action on such a contentious issue, especially coming off of their midterm gains. Earnest acknowledged the White House’s displeasure with the election results while describing them as a call for more movement in Washington.

“[Voters] want their elected representatives in Washington, D.C. to get some results, and we haven’t seen a lot of results over the last two years in the United States Congress in particular,” Earnest said.

It’s a fine line given the departing Democratic Senate majority, but the White House wants to cast Republicans – who have internal splits on this issue – as the main reason for legislative delays and justify executive action now that they’ve won more power. Leading Republicans caution that such a confrontation would be playing with fire.

“If we get sidetracked with old ideological fights and holding each other accountable for long-held differences, we’re not going to make much progress,” Earnest said when asked about Senator Mitch McConnell’s warning that immigration executive action is “like waving a red flag in front of a bull.”

Republicans could respond with several tactics. The attorney general oversees the legal argument Obama will make for his authority to take action under current immigration law, and Republicans could block the Senate confirmation of Loretta Lynch, who Obama tapped to replace Attorney General Eric Holder. The could also withhold funding, though another shutdown looks unlikely, or even supersede Obama with a new immigration bill, which the president has always said he favors over acting on his own.

The White House is feeling heat from the left on the details of their executive action plan, even though they’re not yet known. Activists and immigrant groups shared a recent New York Times editorial’s fear that the plan won’t go far enough in the face of sure opposition. They argue that if the fight’s inevitable, it might as well be over a strong position.

“So why not be unapologetic, go bold, and really protect millions of our families that are waiting for the president to act,” said Cristina Jimenez, the managing director of the youth immigration activist group United We Dream, in an interview with Jorge Ramos.

A potential plan allowing upwards of 5 million undocumented immigrants to remain in the U.S. could be cut to a couple million or less as the president focuses on smaller slices of the nation’s 11 million undocumented.

The late Congresswoman from Texas, Barbara Jordan, would not be proud of her fellow Democrat, President Barack Hussein Obama.

The last bipartisan U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform wrangled with the topic of Illegal Immigration for six years. President Clinton appointed former congresswoman and Democratic icon Barbara Jordan as its chair. Jordan came from humble beginnings to become a lawyer and the first Southern black woman elected to the House of Representatives. Rep. Jordan was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement, a Professor of Ethics, a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a world-class orator (two of her speeches are considered among the greatest of the 20th century). Her appointment gave the commission instant credibility. According to Jordan, she believed her responsibility as the head of the commission was to restore credibility to the U.S. Immigration System. On the issue of Illegal Immigration, Jordan was very clear and succinct:

Unlawful Immigration is unacceptable. Those who should not be here will be required to leave.

Rep. Jordan recognized the  dangerous illegality of “Unlawful Immigration”.

Let’s pretend I broke into your house.  When you discover me there, you insist I leave.  But I say, “I’ve made all the beds, washed the dishes, did the laundry, and cleaned the floors; I’ve done all the work you don’t like to do. I’m hardworking and honest (except for breaking into your house). Not only must you let me stay, you must also add me to your insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide these benefits to my husband, too (he will do your yardwork, he’s honest and hardworking too–except for that breaking in part). If you try to force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house and proclaim my right to be there! It’s only fair, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I’m trying to better myself. I’m hardworking and honest…except for, well, you know. I will live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness and prejudice.

Oh yeah, I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.

Good plan..don’t you think?

Is this a behavior we should be rewarding?

What makes the current influx of illegal immigrants exempt from the rules and regulations that every other generation of immigrants to this country had to abide by in order to become legal citizens of the greatest nation in the world? By being here illegally, they are not entitled to the same rights as natural-born or naturalized American citizens.

And, yet, even as I write this, they are in our hospitals, taking advantage of our charity and the finest health care system in the world, and driving our streets, with either forged drivers licenses or those obtained from states who have acquiesced and given them to these “undocumented workers”.

This is in no way a human rights issue. Freedom is God-given, and with freedom comes responsibility. With citizenship comes responsibility, like paying taxes and making your own way.

My concerns about this whole “Path to Citizenship” business, can be divided into three bullet points. (Hey, I used to be a VP of Marketing. What do you expect?)

1. Patriotism – Will these new “citizens” be willing to fly our flag above theirs? Will they be willing, if called upon, to serve in our Armed Forces, at home or abroad? Will they love this country, more than the one they left?

2. Loyalty – When these “new Americans” achieve the right to vote, are they all going to vote Democrat, so that they can receive more FREE STUFF? Is the Republican Party shooting themselves in both feet by pushing an outcome which will simply add new Democratic Voters? As I asked in the first point, will they honestly embrace our sovereign nation as their new home? Or, will they remain loyal to Mexico?

3.  Immigration – Are we rewarding illegal behavior, while at the same time, insulting all of the brave souls who have come here legally, seeking a better life for themselves and their families?

I understand that people want a better life for themselves and their children.  We are all immigrants in this land, except for American Indians, and they got here by crossing the Bering Straight.  But there is a huge difference between immigrating here legally and sneaking in illegally, between assimilating into an existing culture, and insisting on replacing a country’s existing culture with that of the country you left.

I’m all for assisting anyone in becoming a legal citizen of the United States, if that is their wish.  But, it must be done the right way, and they must accept responsibility for their illegal entry, show a willingness to learn our language, and embrace our American way of life, including respecting the American Flag.

So, let’s take this one step at a time.  Secure our borders.  Enforce the anti-illegal immigration laws.  And, if the Federal Government won’t, the states, like Arizona, will have to pass their own laws.  America became a great nation because it is a melting pot of American-born and legally-immigrated citizens with a shared allegiance, not a multi-cultural United Nations with everyone loyal to their home country.

As the diseases, which the Mexican Munchkin Migration brought in with them have warned us, a wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now.  All of OUR SERVANTS, up on Capitol Hill, need to quit playing political games.  The safety of America is at stake .  SECURE THE BORDER NOW.

Victory’s Aftermath…What Now? (A KJ Op Ed)

AFBrancoHarryReid1152014So, here we are, two days removed from a Political Tsunami which registered at 10 on the Richter scale .

We were all walking around on cloud nine yesterday, celebrating the victory of the Republican Party… and America. Later on that afternoon, reality reared its ugly head, as President Barack Hussein Obama strode to the podium.

In an attempt to appear bipartisan, Obama instead looked like a petulant 7-year-old, who was threatening to take his ball and go home. President Pantywaist was visibly irritated by the straightforward questions of a mainstream media ,who  now, after being awakened by the Republican landslide of the night before, determined to show the public that they actually could be objective (or, getting even with Obama for the Democrats losing so badly), by asking the president tough questions, instead of the usual softballs which they had thrown in the last 7 years.

Petulant President Pantywaist was not very pleased at all. His answers, while skirting the surface of bipartisanship, were still undergirded by the same divisiveness which Obama has demonstrated with such zeal during his presidency.

Do you remember when Barack Hussein Obama first burst onto the scene? It was during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Here was this young Senator from the state of Illinois, who received the opportunity of a lifetime, to be one of the main speakers at the convention.

Meticulously prepared by his handlers,  when the young Senator took the stage, you would have thought that he was the second coming of Elvis.

George Soros, David Axelrod ,and all of the powers behind the scenes in the Democratic Party made sure that the Main Stream Media would trumpet the triumphant arrival of their next “Golden Boy”, a charismatic individual who would carry the Democrat Party on his back in their quest to reclaim the White House.

And sure enough, thanks to a propaganda campaign by the Main Stream Media and a Democrat ground game spearheaded by the illegal efforts of ACORN, America’s low information voters, desperately wanting to ride the wave of an event which they were told would be historic, the election of America’s first black president, elected instead, America’s first Anti-American president.

As our country quickly found out, we did not elect a world leader, we elected a community organizer.

The problem that Republicans face in dealing with the incumbent President, is the fact that, after 7 years as President, Obama is still nothing but a community organizer. He is still trying to fight “The Man”. His use of the rhetoric of c=Class Warfare is meant to be racially divisive and is meant to consolidate his power base.

However, as eloquently demonstrated on Tuesday night, the overwhelming majority of Americans have  a different perspective on our nation and the problems we face, than President Barack Hussein Obama does.

When Obama was asked by one of the reporters in his press conference yesterday if the election was a referendum on his leadership, Obama claimed that it was not.

But then again, what did we expect him to say? That, yes, he’s a lousy president?

Just as it has during the entire length of his failed presidency, Obama’s arrogance would not allow the Lightbringer to admit the dire situation that our country finds itself in.

In fact, Obama had the nerve to describe how much better off our nation was than when he took over.

The 92 million six hundred thousand Americans, who are no longer in our workforce, would disagree with him .

Republicans face a daunting challenge.

For those of us who voted them into office, it was a mission to preserve this Blessed Land. However, it was not just a mission of preservation, it was a mission of salvation.

It is up to Republicans to hold the line against a barrage of executive orders which will soon come from Obama’s desk.

Make no mistake, Tuesday night’s election results were a mandate. Every single Republican who ran for Congress and who got elected on Tuesday night, promised to repeal Obamacare.

Now, while that may not be possible while Obama is sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office , the Republicans need to make every effort to move in that direction before the 2016 presidential election.

This is the time for the Republicans to display resolute leadership, not the go along-to-get-along spineless behavior, which we have seen all too often during the last 7 years. They have control of Congress now. Harry Reid is no longer blocking legislation.

Republicans, if they wish to cement their legacy, have to start listening to the ones who elected them on Tuesday night. They witnessed firsthand what happens to politicians who value the wishes of special interest groups over those of average Americans.

As Kevin Kline said in the movie “Dave” about the Presidency, being elected to Congress is a temp job.

It is not an entitlement.

Tuesday night, the American people spoke loud and clear. We love our country. And, we will stand up to anybody who wants to radically change her in a direction in which we do not want to go.

This is not a democracy, a Marxist State, or a monarchy . This is a Constitutional Republic.

It is way past time to see our system of Checks and Balances at work once again.

Tuesday night, the American people gave the Republican Party the ball. Let’s see what they do with it.

Until He Comes,

The Tsunami Hits! Republicans Control Congress!

Obama-Shrinks-2Well, it happened.

Americans, in their anger and disgust over the direction which President Barack Hussein Obama, his enablers, and his minions have taken our country, spoke in a loud and clear voice in the Midterm Elections yesterday, giving the Republican Party control of both the House of Representative and the Senate.

The Associated Press reports about the aftermath of this Political Tsunami…

WASHINGTON (AP) — Riding a powerful wave of voter discontent, resurgent Republicans captured control of the Senate and tightened their grip on the House Tuesday night in elections certain to complicate President Barack Obama’s final two years in office.

Republican Mitch McConnell led the way to a new Senate majority, dispatching Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes in Kentucky after a $78 million campaign of unrelieved negativity. Voters are “hungry for new leadership. They want a reason to be hopeful,” said the man now in line to become majority leader and set the Senate agenda.

Two-term incumbent Mark Pryor of Arkansas was the first Democrat to fall, defeated by freshman Rep. Tom Cotton. Sen. Mark Udall of Colorado was next, defeated by Rep. Cory Gardner. Sen. Kay Hagan also lost, in North Carolina, to Thom Tillis, the speaker of the state House.

Republicans also picked up seats in Iowa, West Virginia, South Dakota and Montana, all states where Democrats retired. They had needed a net gain of six seats to end a Democratic majority in place since 2006.

In the House, with dozens of races uncalled, Republicans had picked up 11 seats that had been in Democratic hands, and given up only one.

A net pickup of 13 would give them more seats in the House than at any time since 1946.

Obama was at the White House as voters remade Congress for the final two years of his tenure — not to his liking. With lawmakers set to convene next week for a postelection session, he invited leaders to a meeting on Friday.

The shift in control of the Senate, coupled with a GOP-led House, probably means a strong GOP assault on budget deficits, additional pressure on Democrats to accept sweeping changes to the health care law that stands as Obama’s signal domestic accomplishment and a bid to reduce federal regulations.

Obama’s ability to win confirmation for lifetime judicial appointments could also suffer, including any Supreme Court vacancies.

Speaker John Boehner, in line for a third term as head of the House, said the new Republican-controlled Congress would vote soon in the new year on the “many common-sense jobs and energy bills that passed the Republican-led House in recent years with bipartisan support but were never even brought to a vote by the outgoing Senate majority.”

Legislation to approve the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada is likely among the disputed issues to be debated.

Said outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat, ” The message from voters is clear: They want us to work together.”

There were 36 gubernatorial elections on the ballot, and several incumbents struggled against challengers. Tom Wolf captured the Pennsylvania statehouse for the Democrats, defeating Republican Gov. Tom Corbett. Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn lost in Illinois, Obama’s home state. Republican Larry Hogan scored one of the night’s biggest upsets, in Maryland.

How did all this come about?

According to the Washington Post,

…From the outset of the campaign, Republicans had a simple plan: Don’t make mistakes, and make it all about Obama, Obama, Obama. Every new White House crisis would bring a new Republican ad. And every Democratic incumbent would be attacked relentlessly for voting with the president 97 or 98 or 99 percent of the time.

But none of that would work if Republicans did not get the right candidates, a basic tenet that had eluded them in recent elections. This time, party officials pushed bad candidates out, recruited and coached contenders with broad appeal and resuscitated two flailing incumbents, Roberts and Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi.
Rival organizations also improved coordination with each other and beefed up their opposition research to wreak havoc on Democrats, while the party closed the gap on data, digital and voter turnout programs.

“We had to recruit candidates, and we had to train them,” said Rob Collins, executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). “We had to bring back our incumbents. We had to modernize creaky campaigns. And we had to prevent the mistakes that have plagued our party.”

Democrats began the 2014 campaign with a big disadvantage: They had to defend seats in six deeply Republican states — enough to lose the Senate — and a handful of others in swing states.

Burdened by the climate, Democrats believed they still could win if they localized races and framed each as a choice between two candidates. The strategy worked in 2012. On his office windowsill at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), the group’s executive director, Guy Cecil, displayed a beer mug shaped like a cowboy boot with the name “Heidi” on the side — a reminder of how Democrat Heidi Heitkamp won a Senate seat that year in heavily Republican North Dakota.

Senate Democrats calculated that to win in red states, they also had to alter the midterm electorate.

“There’s basically two Americas — there’s midterm America and there’s presidential-year America,” White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said. “They’re almost apples and oranges. The question was, could Obama voters become Democratic voters?”

Evidently not.

The Democrats never realized that it was too late to separate themselves from their fallen messiah, the “clean and articulate”, unvetted candidate, who, through media manipulation and outrageous propaganda, they foisted on an American public, thanks to America’s Low Information Voters, who desperately wanted to make history, by elected the first Black President (Bubba Clinton, notwithstanding).

Last night, the Democrats paid for their deception and their arrogance, in believing that they could take our country in a direction which the overwhelming majority of Americans do not want to go.

They reaped what they have sewn.

Now, the Republicans have to prove their trustworthiness to all of us who voted them in.

Their actions  will have to reflect our wishes, not their own. They must hold the line against the egregious Executive Orders which will surely be coming from the desk of the Petulant President Pantywaist, since he has lost the ability to get his socialist brand of legislation passed through Congress.

The first one will be a massive Amnesty Order, which White House Officials claim will be put in action by Baracky Claus before Christmas.

If Republicans wish to win the Presidential Election in 2016, they had better pay attention to what the majority of Americans want.

Last night showed what happens  to “public servants” when they only serve special interest groups…and themselves.

Election Day 2014: Preserving Our Children’s Future

voteYou and I have a rendezvous with destiny.

We’ll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we’ll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness. – “Ronald Reagan, “A Time For Choosing”, October 27, 1964

Once again, today is “A Time For Choosing”.

Today, Americans all over our great land will exercise their Right to Vote.

This is a right that our fellow countrymen have fought and died for. A Constitutional Right which allows us, as American citizens, to take part in moulding the future of our country.

This Constitutional Right was designed to be an exercise in deliberation and judgment. It is not a right to be taken lightly, as so many Americans seem to do nowadays.

In fact, if you were able take a survey of people around the world, you would find that a great many of them would sacrifice whatever they could, including their lives, in order to be able to cast a vote in a country which was free , and where the right to do so, and to do so anonymously, was protected by law.

There have been a lot of countries and there continues to be a lot of countries, which go through the motions of having a free election. However, in reality, their elections are nothing but a dog and pony show, designed to reinforce a totalitarian regime.

Usually, these regimes are supported by the country’s media, whose job, as the old song goes, is to ” accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.”

Sound familiar?

During the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama, the media has acted in such a fashion in this country. They viewed their job, not as objective reporters of the news of the day, but as protectors and defenders of the first black President of the United States, especially since he was of their own political ideology, a Liberal Democrat.

During these last almost seven years, American citizens have had a taste of what citizens living under totalitarian regimes must feel like.

At the beginning of the Obama Presidency, he had a Democratically- led Congress to work with, with Nancy Pelosi as the Speaker of the House and Harry Reid leading the Senate.

In the midterm elections of 2010, average Americans, following the lead of the Conservative Tea Party movement, stood up on our hind legs and voted some of the rascals out, giving the leadership of the House of Representatives to the Republican Party.

Today, four years later, we have an opportunity to continue the process of taking our country back from the “Tyranny of the Minority”.

By going to the polls today, voting Republican, and in the process, giving control of both the House and the Senate to the Republicans, Americans can take away the Political Power Base of President Barack Hussein Obama, turning him into a two-year Lame Duck President.

Polls have shown that the majority of Americans are not satisfied with the direction that this nation is heading under his leadership.

Here are a few reasons why the overwhelming majority of Americans feel that way:

  • The “not-a-war with ISIS” including his unabashed comment that, “We are not at war with Islam.”
  • The economy, featuring the indefensible fact that over 92,600,000 Americans have dropped out of our workforce.
  • The out-of-control Department of Education, featuring Common Core, and plans to teach sex education to pre-schoolers.
  • The VA Hospital Scandal, in which our Brightest and Best were given worse treatment than indigent Americans.
  • Obama’s use of the judiciary to overthrow the States’ anti-Gay Marriage votes.
  • His over-the-top reliance on class warfare and race-baiting divisive rhetoric.
  • His support and subsequent camouflage of the Mexican Munchkin Migration.
  • His promise to sign an Executive Order for Amnesty for illegal immigrants living in our Sovereign Nation.
  • His insistence that Ebola will never reach our shores.
  • And, finally, Obamacare.

Make no mistake, today is our opportunity to show exactly how we feel about the failed Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama.

Today is our chance to send a message.

The message we send must be loud and clear.

That message must reverberate through the Halls of Power in Washington, DC, so that they will know without a shadow of a doubt, that American citizens will not sit idly by and watch this nation, which our Fathers fought and died for, be turned in to something that it was never meant to be.

To quote founding father, Patrick Henry,

Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Our brethren are already in the fields. Why stand we here idle? I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

Our CHAINS today are the fetters we wear while being taxed by an out-of-control federal government.

The which we are suffering through today, comes as a result of the overbearing burden of taxes and regulations by that selfsame government, which was created by our Founding Fathers to be “of the people, by the people, and for the people”, has instead become “of the special interest groups, by the special interest groups, and for the special interest groups”.

As our Founding Fathers and every generation of Patriots after them has demonstrated, LIBERTY is freedom with responsibility.

Our responsibility on this election day as American Citizens is to continue the process of taking back our country, for the sake of those who will come after us.

Those who have sacrificed their lives for our FREEDOM deserve no less.

Until He Comes,
