The Tyranny of the Minority and The “In Your Face” President

ObamaTransparentBranco852014As I sat down to write today’s blog, a singular realization struck this Average American and Son of the South.

United States of America President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) DOES NOT CARE what the overwhelming majority of Americans think about his actions during these, his remaining months in office.

He cannot run for the Presidency again, so Petulant President Pantywaist, now more than ever, is exposing his Far Left, Political Philosophy to the world, as never before, putting the pedal to the metal, in his quest to “radically change” the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”, into the “Land of the Sheeple and the Home of the Hesitant”.

If you look at all of Obama’s “Important Issues”. which he is trying so desperately to address and take action upon, before we give him the boot, they are “issues” which are embraced only by a minority of American Citizens.

For example,

1.The Importing of “Syrian Refugees” – Obama is insisting that we MUST allow at least 10,000 Syrian Muslims, most of whom appear to be young men, physically fit, carrying i-Phones and i-Pads, whose brethren are presently rioting, in their quest to invade the Sovereign Nations of Europe. At the same time, Obama is preparing to export Syrian Christians back to their country to be executed.

The overwhelming majority of Americans have said, “NO!”

2. The White House Invitation to the “Homemade Clockmaker” – As I chronicled yesterday, out of nowhere, Obama has invited a Muslim Teenager from Irving, TX, who came to school, with a technology Project, which was supposed to be a clock, but instead , resembled a bomb in a briefcase. Other Northeast Liberals, such as Harvard, have invited the young man to come visit them as well. in a repudiation of Obama’s own, “See something, Say Something” policy regarding vigilance against “Man-caused Disasters” (the Obama Administration’s code word for Islamic Terrorism).  Additionally, this young man’s father is a Muslim Activist, as Pamela Gellar reported on breitbart.com,

The New York Daily News reported this Wednesday about Ahmed Mohamed’s father, Mohamed ElHassan Mohamed:

One of the earliest instances of the standout citizen making national news was in 2011, when he sensationally stood up to an anti-Islamic pastor and defended the Koran as its defense attorney. That mock trial at a Florida church ended with the book’s burning, to ElHassan’s claimed shock. In an interview with the Washington Post at the time, the devoted Muslim said he’d take on Rev. Terry Jones’ challenge because the holy book teaches that Muslims should engage in peaceful dialogue with Christians.

Also in 2011, El Hassan debated Robert Spencer on the question of “Does Islam Respect Human Rights?” Clearly, he was trying to score a victory against a famous “Islamophobe” and thus win a name for himself. ElHassan has been looking for publicity and chances to fight against “Islamophobia” for a considerable period. Now he has seized it, going so far as to claim his son was “tortured” by school and law enforcement officials.

Can you say, “SET-UP”, boys and girls? I knew that you could.

3. Defending the Ghouls of Planned Parenthood – The House of Representatives voted yesterday to defund the Government-funded Private Organization , Planned Parenthood, because of their heinous marketing and selling of the body parts of aborted American babies, some of whom were still alive, when “harvested”. Obama has promised to voto this legislation when it reaches them, claiming, like a good Far Left Ideologue, that it would be a blow against the “Reproductive Rights” of women.

Who speaks for America’s unborn, Dr. Mengele?

4. The Nomination of an Openly-Gay Man for Secretary of the Army – Obama wants Eric Fanning to lead the Army. If confirmed, he would be the first openly gay civilian secretary of one of the military services. Fanning’s nomination is the latest in a series of “Social Experiments”, under Obama’s Direction, “to advance the rights of gays and lesbians throughout the federal government”. Obama has already “radically changed” internal policies to provide benefits to same-sex partners, appointed gay men and lesbians to the executive branch and the federal bench and ended the 18-year ban on gays serving openly in the military. Fanning, who must still be confirmed by the Senate, has been working in the Federal Government as a specialist on defense and national security issues for more than 25 years in Congress and the Pentagon.

Mitch McConnell and the rest of the spineless Vichy Republicans in the Senate will probably approve this homosexual civilian to lead our Brightest and Best.

5. The Iran Deal – According to a Pew Research Poll, only 21% of Americans approve of the catastrophic “agreement”, which Obama and his Secretary of State, John “I served in Vietnam” Kerry “brokered” with Kerry’s Father-in-Law, his counterpart in the Iranian Government. However, Obama and his minions in government and the media are still lauding this surrender of our nation’s safety as the greatest thing since sliced bread.

“And, you don’t believe we’re on the Eve of Destruction.”

6. Valerie Jarrett Meets With “Black Lives Matter” in the White House

The “Power Behind the Throne” met with three organizers for Campaign Zero. DeRay Mckesson, Brittany Packnett, and Johnetta Elzie as well as Phil Agnew of the Dream Defenders and Jamye Wooten, an organizer for Baltimore United for Change were there, according to a senior White House official who confirmed the visit to Buzzfeed. After the meeting, Packnett tweeted a selfie with Jarrett thanking her for engaging the movement. Meanwhile, Lew Enforcement Officers are being murdered in cold blood across the nation and black Americans are killing each other, in unprecedented numbers, every day.

If “Black Lives” really mattered to these Political Activists, why aren’t they working to stop this self-inflicted genocide, instead of attacking those who enforce our laws and protect our society?

And, why hasn’t Obama said a mumblin’ word about the murders of America’s Law Enforcement Officers?

Two phrases come to mind: “National Police Force” and “New Bolsheviks”.

In American Politics, as far as anybody can remember, that is still alive and kicking, you have had those of a political ideology who were Pro-American and Gung Ho about all the things that this country stands for. And, on the other side, you had those of a political ideology who criticized everything that America stood for, and still stands for, to this day.

From those who believed that Communism would be great for America back in the 1950s, to those in the 1960’s, who wanted to “tune in, turn on, and drop out”, and spit on our returning Servicemen, to those of the 1970s who were naive pacifists like their President, Jimmy Carter, to those in the 1980s, who were part of the “Me Generation”, to those whom we call “Progressives” (a misnomer) or “Modern Liberals” in our present generation, Including President Barack Hussein Obama and all of his minions, there has always been a minority segment of American Society, who despise everything that this land, which was given us by the Almighty and was fought for and died for by those before us, stands for, while they reap all the benefits of America the Beautiful.

As I have written, America is suffering under this “Tyranny of the Minority”.

Obama owes everything that he is to the benevolence and largess of America and her people.

In his second term as President, he has proven that he is president of some of the people, not all of the people.

And, those of us, whom his failed political ideology does not appeal to, have had enough and are not going “quietly into that good night”.

Ask those country clerks who have resigned rather than issue marriage licenses to homosexual “couples”. Or, ask those NASCAR Fans proudly and defiantly waving their Confederate Flags at Daytona Raceway.

Barack Hussein Obama’s “flipping the bird” to the American People, in these, the waning days of his tenure as President of the United States of America, shows just how ignorant his pandering to special interest groups and his disdain of us “average Americans” really is.

Where the exceptionalism of America lies…is not in the Halls of Power…but in the courage and spirit of the average American. A courage and spirit, which our history proves, has driven American Citizens to build a nation, which is indeed exceptional among all others.

Thr secret of this country’s exceptionalism is the “Average Joe”, the 9 to 5′er, working himself into the grave to try to provide for his family.

It was this same “Average Joe”, who fired the shot heard around the world and began the War for American Independence, who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II, who waded through rice paddies in Vietnam, and who swallowed sand in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The same “Average Joe” who, as a New York City Policeman or Fireman, ran up the stairs of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, instead of running down them. The same “Average Joe”, who simply wants things to be easier in this life for his children and grandchildren, than he had it.

It is this same “Average Joe”, who takes family and friends in, when they are in the midst of a life-altering tragedy. The same “Average Joe”, who volunteers on a soup line or at a Senior Citizens Home, or, who begins a successful business in his basement.

Liberal Bureaucrats, like Secretary of State John Kerry and his boss, are professional political prevaricators. Men and women, whose ethics and morality change with the direction of the wind, and whose egos override their judgment…every time.

America is a Constitutional Republic. We are not ruled by a faceless all-powerful government. America’s politicians, including President Barack Hussein Obama, are OUR SERVANTS….not the other way around.

And, as their Boss, we expect them to possess a more complete knowledge of the history of the most exceptional nation on the face of God’s green Earth. We expect them to honor and respect the lives given and the sacrifices made by courageous Americans, who paved the way for you and the rest of this selfish generation, who are so desperately attempting to rewrite American History in order for it to be in accordance with the tenets of their Liberal Ideology.

America’s place in the world or her Traditional Values are not things so fragile that they can be unalterably changed by a lightweight like Barack Hussein Obama.

What does the doctrine of American exceptionalism empower the United States to do? Nothing more than to act better than traditional empires – committed to looting and conquest – have done. So that’s American exceptionalism: an exceptionalism based on noble ideas, ideas that it holds itself to even when it falls short of them.

In conclusion, it is not a single politician that decides America’s place in the world or the values which average Americans hold dear.

It is the fact of American Exceptionalism, seen in the lives of  average hard-working Americans, like you and me.

And, that is something that Obama and these rest of those who embrace his failed political ideology will never understand.

Trump Preaches to the Populace in Dallas. Professional Politicians and Pundits Perplexed.

The Political Interloper, whom they predicted would fade fast in the Republican Presidential Primary Race, is still packin’ them in.

The Washington Post reported last night, that

Donald Trump, the front-runner in the Republican presidential sweepstakes, received a standing ovation Monday evening during a campaign rally before thousands in an arena here when he hit on his signature issue: curbing illegal immigration.

“We are a dumping ground for the rest of the world,” said Trump, who emphasized his commitment to deporting all undocumented immigrants and building a wall on the southern border of the United States.

We don’t want them either!” yelled a woman as he spoke.

The subject of illegal immigration, which has made Trump a sharply polarizing figure in the 2016 White House race, brought the Republican his most enthusiastic cheers of the evening.

His remarks were meandering. He criticized Republican and Democratic detractors, promised strong leadership and boasted of how well his campaign has performed so far. As usual, he was short on policy specifics.

The event served as one of Trump’s final warm-ups for the second Republican debate Wednesday night. Trump will be positioned at center stage once again, a reflection of polls that show him holding a clear lead over the rest of the field.

“I hear they are all going after me,” Trump said of his competitors. “Whatever.”

The rally, which was held at the American Airlines Center, where professional basketball and hockey teams play, attracted a large and energized crowd. But many of the upper-level seats were empty, raising questions about exactly how many ticketholders showed up. All of the roughly 20,000 tickets organizers distributed for free were scooped up by the end of last week. Some who landed tickets sought to sell them online for hundreds of dollars.

“Can you people see me up there?” Trump said, highlighting the size of both the crowd and the venue. He appeared to try to explain the empty seats with a joke: “I said to them, don’t fill up the upper rings. It’s not fair.”

Trump, whose immigration plans have drawn intense criticism from Democrats and some Republicans, also attracted protesters who marched toward the arena carrying anti-Trump signs.

“What do we want? Dump Trump!” they chanted.

Trump enthusiasts started lining up at noon outside the arena, some driving considerable distances. Some said they were not at all sure they would vote for him but sure didn’t want to miss a chance to see him in person. 

“He’s entertaining!” said Paul­ine Pitman, 73, a retired county government employee, “I like his business sense.” But she said she would need more convincing to vote him president.

Some Trump supporters decided to make a buck — and thought Trump would approve of it.

Selling “Make American Great Again” hats, visors, T-shirts and buttons, small-time entrepreneurs decided to cash in on the enthusiasm for the unconventional candidate.

“I am sure I will sell out!” said Janet Newlong, 67, an office manager for a Chattanooga HVAC company who drove 11 hours to see Trump. And while there, she had a few dozen $21 Trump hats, and they were going fast.

Trump singled out a long list of foes in his remarks, including Republican strategist Karl Rove, Washington Post columnist George Will, the media in general, former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, former Florida governor Jeb Bush and former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton.

He said that his surprisingly strong showing in the polls will mean nothing if he does not prevail when voters cast their ballots.

“Unless I win, it’s a been a waste of time for me,” he said.

On Tuesday, Trump plans to be in Los Angeles, where he will host a national security event aboard the USS Iowa battleship.

He said he liked many of his Republican opponents including Ted Cruz, whom he called “a good guy.” But he warned against aggressively criticizing him.

“If he comes out and attacks me on Wednesday night, I will take it back immediately,” said Trump.

Why is Donald Trump still the frontrunner among all the Republican Presidential Candidates?

Because he is not a professional Politician, that’s why!

This brash, unabashedly American, business entrepreneur and quintessential showman has dominated the media for the past several years.

The popularity of his reality program on NBC and the catch phrase that came leaping out from it, “You’re fired!”, spread across America like wildfire.

Now, his Presidential Campaign is doing the same.

It is not just his flamboyance that has caught the eye of Americans.

The fact is, after almost two terms of an Administration taking the great country in the world on a scenic tour of the Highway to Hell, Donald Trump is the only Republican Candidate shouting, “Hit the brakes, you idiots!”

Trump’s straightforwardness has struck a chord in the hearts of average Americans, tired of the wussification of America, being so relentlessly pushed by both modern political parties.

This is what I don’t understand about the Republican Establishment.

They run around telling everybody how Conservative they are, when in reality, they actually hold the same beliefs as Liberal Democrats.

On March 1, 1975, the Great Communicator and Future President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan, spoke the following words at the 2nd Annual CPAC Convention. He may as well have been speaking yesterday.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

From what I’m seeing out of a lot of the Republicans right now, they’re not even presenting Americans with pale pastels.

…Except for Donald Trump.

Back in the day, that political strategy propelled Ronald Reagan to the Presidency of the United States.

Additionally, America showed significant weakness globally, as the Soviet Union flexed its muscles and smaller nations began to lose both fear and respect for the United States. It was clear the country needed a change.

He swiftly changed the course of the nation, lowering taxes and reducing regulations to stimulate the economy and standing up for America’s principles and beliefs around the world. In addition to his changes to foreign and domestic policy, Reagan was an “American Exceptionalist”, meaning that he understood that there was something special and different about America that set it apart from all other nations. During his time in office, Reagan reduced the intrusive role of the government and helped the nation re-discover its greatness, power and economic growth.

The Political Strategy of “Bold Colors” is the reason that Trump is still leading all of the Professional Politicians, who are currently seeking the Nomination for the Republican Presidential Candidacy.

The Republican Establishment continues to show their color to be Liberal Blue, while they claim to be Conservative Red.

It is almost as if they believe that the Political Tsunami, which resulted in Republicans holding both Houses of Congress, came about because they made themselves look like Democrats.

They need to come down off of Capitol Hill every now and then.

And, visit Realityville.

It’s a whole different country out here.

Is the “Hair” Leaving the “Tortoise” at the Starting Gate?

th2ERKPEW7Growing up, we all heard the fable of the Tortoise and the Hare.

The Tortoise, slow and steady, beats the bold and brash Hare in a foot race.

There have been those supporters of the candidacy of Jeb Bush, who have compared his rather uninspiring campaign versus the rocket fueled-campaign of Donald J. Trump, as a real-life recreation of that classic fable.

Of course, those making the comparison are mostly Liberals and RINOs (but, I repeat myself).

According to Frank Bruni of The New York Times,

Before Bush announced his candidacy, talk of his vulnerabilities focused largely on certain positions — his defense of Common Core educational standards, his advocacy for immigration reform — that were anathema to many voters in the Republican primaries. He was sure to catch flak.

But catching fire is his bigger problem. He can’t do it. In a bloated field of bellicose candidates, he’s a whisper, a blur, starved of momentum, bereft of urgency and apt to make news because he stumbles, not because he soars. Can he soar? Or even sprint?

“I’m the tortoise in the race,” he told a group of voters in Florida not long ago. “But I’m a joyful tortoise.”

I wonder how joyful “The Tortoise is, after what “The Hair” pulled off last night?

Mobile, Alabama (CNN) – Donald Trump addressed thousands of supporters at a pep rally in Mobile, Alabama, on Friday night, the latest show of strength for the Republican 2016 front-runner’s campaign.
“We’ve gotten an amazing reception,” Trump said as he began his remarks, turning his back to the podium at the Ladd-Peebles Stadium and pointing to the crowd behind him. “Has this been crazy? Man!”

Clad in a Navy blue jacket and a white shirt, his recognizable “Make America Great Again” red baseball cap adorning his head, Trump quickly launched into the themes that have marked his candidacy thus far, seizing upon an economy he said was stalling and immigration laws that he said need revamping.

“We have a stock market not doing so well, we have a country not doing so well, we’ve been saying it for a long time,” Trump said. “We have politicians who don’t have a clue. They’re all talk, no action. What’s happening to this country is disgraceful.”

The event was previously planned to be held at the nearby Civic Center but was moved to the 43,000-seat Ladd-Peebles Stadium — a venue normally home to high school football games — to accommodate the crowd. It was not immediately clear how many people attended the rally; the 5,000-seat bleachers behind Trump were filled to capacity, but the east and west bleachers flanking the field — which each hold up to 15,000 people — were about half-full when Trump began speaking around 7:30 p.m. CT.

A message left with Mobile police regarding the crowd size was not immediately returned.

Republican Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions and Trump’s son Eric were notable attendees. The senator briefly addressed the crowd at Trump’s invitation, saying the magnate was popular because he stands up for Americans’ interests and has promised to defend immigration laws.

“The American people … want somebody in the presidency to stand up for them,” Sessions said, after briefly donning a white baseball cap emblazoned with Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan.

Trump flew by the stadium in his private jet shortly before 6 p.m., doing a loop around the arena before landing. The fly-by was announced over the stadium’s loudspeaker to cheers.

Attendees gathered as early as 6 a.m., and some traveled from as far away as Florida and California to attend.

The first 10 people in line were strangers this morning, but after waiting outside in the 90-degree heat, they befriended one another and all chipped in to buy a canopy from Walmart and a few pizzas from Dominos.

Amanda Mancini, who said she is part of a new movement called “Women for Trump,” flew in from Los Angeles. “I wanted to be part of it. I initially thought it was going to be small, and I thought Trump wouldn’t be coming to me in California, so I would have to come to him.”

Brent Fritz and Jacob Murray, 19-year-old students from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, drove in Friday morning to see Trump. They left at 4 a.m. ET and arrived around noon local time.

The first person to get in line was retired Marine Keith Quackenbush.

“This isn’t about Republicans, it isn’t about Democrats, this is a movement of citizens across America tired of the BS,” he said.

CNN added the following about the “Tortoise”…

Jeb Bush and his allies once again aggressively looked to deliver a different message to Trump’s voters, reflecting a new muscular stance against the Republican front-runner first unveiled this week in New Hampshire. Bush’s super PAC, Right to Rise, arranged its own flyover at the stadium as a jet carried a banner reading: “Trump 4 higher taxes, Jeb 4 prez.”

Bush’s official campaign said it also emailed supporters in Alabama pointing out Trump’s previous liberal positions on abortion, gun rights and tax issues.

“Trump’s positions are deeply out-of-step with the Alabama way of life,” the email reads, according to the campaign. “Trump’s history of supporting Democratic ideas will not go unnoticed in Alabama and we trust you will make it known.”

Bush and Trump have sparred since the “Apprentice” star launched his campaign in June. Most recently, they have fought over the formerFlorida governor’s use of the term “anchor baby,” which many see as derogatory toward Latinos.

I have noticed (and, maybe, it’s just my perception) that Jeb simply does not have the self-depreciating, common man personality of his brother, George W.

He simply has not struck the same chord with the average American that Trump has, as exhibited by the size of the crowd who attended Trumps Stadium Rally in Mobile, Alabama, last night.

“Slow and steady” seems to have been the Establishment Republicans’ mantra for the last two Presidential Elections, rolling out Moderate Candidates, who failed to connect with the Conservative Base.

They seemed determined to stick with the same losing political strategy for the 2016 Presidential Election, as well, proclaiming Jeb! to be their “Bell Cow”, to anyone who would listen, and enlisting the Main Stream Media, and even Fox News to sound the charge.

However, something funny happened on the way to the “Coronation of the Heir Apparent to the Throne”.

Unfortunately for the entire Political Establishment, Average Americans are not genuflecting to the “Young Prince”. Instead, we are paying attention to the “commoner” because as opposed to the lofty language and specious platitudes of professional politicians, he is offering plain talk, while busting the piñata of Political Correctness.

Whether either one of these guys will actually finish the Race for the Presidency is uncertain, because we have a long way to go until November of 2016.

However, the way this race is progressing, “The Hair” is indeed beating “The Tortoise”.

The People are speaking. Is the Establishment listening?

The Republican Debate: Was the “Fix In”?

Last night, during the Prime Time Republican Presidential Candidate Debate, it seemed as if the Republican Establishment had called in a favor, as the only non-professional politician, “brash interloper” Donald J. Trump, was the focus of attacks from not only his fellow candidates, but the Fox News Moderators as well.

However that is not without its downsides, in particular when it comes to women. You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals. Your twitter account

TRUMP: Only Rosie O’Donnell.

KELLY: For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell.

TRUMP: I’m sure it was.

KELLY: Your twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’ looks. You once told a contest tent that it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound like the temperament of a man we should elect as president? And how do you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton, who is likely to be the Democratic nominee, that you are part of the war on women?

TRUMP: The big problem this country has is being politically correct. I’ve been challenged by so many people and I don’t frankly have time for total political correctness. And to be honest with you, this country doesn’t have time either. This country is in big trouble. We don’t win anymore. We lose to China, we lose to Mexico both in trade and at the border. We lose to everybody. Frankly what I say and oftentimes it’s fun, it’s kidding, we have a good time. What I say is what I say. And honestly, Megyn if you don’t like it, I’m sorry. I’ve been very nice to you although I could probably not be based on the way you have treated me, but I wouldn’t do that. But you know what? We, we need strength, we need energy, we need quickness and we need brain in this country to turn it around. That I can tell you right now.

This is what I don’t understand about the Republican Establishment.

Ronald Reagan gave a famous stump speech about the fact that the Republican Party at one time, needed “bold colors, not pale pastels”.

From what I’m seeing out of a lot of the Republicans right now, they’re not even presenting Americans with pale pastels.

…Except for Donald Trump.

Trump upsets the status quo.

The Establishment Republicans are showing their color to be Liberal Blue, while they claim to be Conservative Red.

It is almost as if they believe that the Political Tsunami, which resulted in Republicans holding both Houses of Congress, came about because they made themselves look like Democrats.

If Americans were enjoying the Washingtonian Status Quo, we would not have given the Republicans control of the House and Senate in the last two Mid-Term Elections.

If we wanted to continue to put up with their Liberal Stupidity, we would have left all of them in office.

Instead, last November, we showed the Democrats and, those , who were not doing their jobs, the door.

The Vichy (Establishment) Republicans need to come down off of Capitol Hill, every now and then.

And, visit Realityville.

Average Americans, like you and me, living from paycheck to paycheck in America’s Heartland, do not need another Democratic Party.

We know how to spend our hard-earned money, just fine, thank you.

And, we don’t want it spent selling the body parts of  babies slaughtered in the name of personal convenience.

Trump has found his popularity, whether it lasts of not, by saying the things that Americans are thinking and feeling.

Americans are fed up with Political Correctness and the professional politicians’ sacrifice of America’s Traditional Values, for the sake of political gain and political expediency.

If Jeb Bush and the rest of the Vichy Republicans actually believe that they will win over the Mexican vote, or the rest of the Hispanic Vote, if by then those who are now illegal are allowed to vote, in 2016, then I have two bridges over the Mississippi River at Memphis to sell them.

The overwhelming majority of average Americans want Conservatives whose blood runs red, not Liberal squishes, who have more in common with the snooty Democrats in the Northeast Corridor, than they do with average Americans in the Heartland.

If the Republican establishment does not come to that realization very soon, they will go down to defeat again in 2016.

They will never achieve victory by trying to push the epitome of “Liberal Moderation”, known as Jeb Bush, down the throats of their Conservative Base.

American Conservatives, here in the Heartland, are not changing our time-honored American Faith and Values for a bunch of mountebanks who act as if they care about our opinions come Election-time and, then, ignoring us, until they seek re-election.

Even buying off Fox News, will not change that fact.

In summation, the American people are tired of the anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both poltical parties.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, is a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who wants to become a public servant.

Now, where did I hear that before?

Oh, yeah.

That’s the way the Founding Fathers envisioned our system of government, led by citizens, who served their term s as public servants…AND THEN WENT HOME.

But, I digress…

You know what tickles me the most about “The Donald”?

He reminds me of one of my favorite movie characters.

He actually has a backbone.

The Iran Deal: Obama Throws a 60 Minute Presidential Temper Tantrum

Barack Hussein Obama is still a ” little Jakarta street kid”. And, yesterday, he threw a Presidential Temper Tantrum.

President Obama vigorously defended Wednesday his nuclear agreement with Iran as one “the world unanimously supports,” reaching back to blame America’s invasion of Iraq — and the overthrow of Saddam Hussein — for emboldening Iran, while labeling Republican opposition as “knee-jerk partisanship,” and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s criticism as “wrong.” 

Speaking at American University in Washington, Obama described the congressional debate over the Iran deal as the “most consequential” since the Iraq invasion. The president called the agreement a “very good deal” that — despite critics’ claims to the contrary — forbids Iran from building a nuclear weapon. 

In anticipation of a barrage of advertising against the deal, Obama likened those arguments to the case for war in Iraq more than a decade ago. 

“Many of the same people who argued for the war in Iraq are now making the case against the Iran nuclear deal,” Obama said. 

The stark comparison dovetails with the president’s central claim that the alternative to an Iran deal may be war — “maybe not tomorrow, maybe not three months from now, but soon,” he said Wednesday. And his appeal to lawmakers comes as he tries to stem defections from his own party. 

He spoke after Democratic Rep. Steve Israel, of New York, told Newsday he will oppose the Iran plan. Spokeswoman Caitlin Girouard confirmed his opposition to Fox News. 

The defection was a blow to the president as he tries to shore up party support ahead of a vote in Congress expected next month. Israel is policy and communications chairman for House Democrats and the chamber’s highest-ranking Jewish Democrat. 

In his speech, Obama addressed head-on the Israeli government’s opposition to the deal, saying he doesn’t doubt Netanyahu’s sincerity but thinks he “is wrong.” 

Dan Gillerman, former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, afterward asked on Fox News: “What if [Obama] is wrong?” 

If he is, Gillerman said, it’ll be another speech that “doesn’t go so well” for Obama. But for Israel, he said, it’s “existential.” 

“Israel is the only country in the world who Iran threatens, time and time again … to wipe off the face of the earth,” he said. 

A spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner said Obama is relying on “partisan attacks, false claims, and fear.” 

The backdrop for Obama’s speech was meant to link the nuclear accord to a long tradition of American diplomacy, often conducted with unfriendly nations. He spoke at the same university where President John F. Kennedy made a famous call for Cold War diplomacy and nuclear disarmament. His address also coincides with the anniversary of the nuclear test ban treaty, the landmark 1963 agreement Kennedy and leaders from the Soviet Union and Britain finalized shortly after the president’s well-known speech. 

Ahead of the speech, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., pointed to “growing bipartisan concern” over the deal. 

“It’s widespread and it’s well-founded,” he said, citing recent defections. Republicans unveiled legislation on the House side Tuesday to oppose the deal. 

Obama’s address is part of an intense summer lobbying campaign by both supporters and opponents of the nuclear deal. Congressional lawmakers will vote next month on a resolution either approving or disapproving of the pact. 

Some key Democratic lawmakers announced their support this week, including Sens. Tim Kaine of Virginia, Barbara Boxer of California and Bill Nelson of Florida. 

However, the administration lost the backing of three prominent Jewish Democrats — Nita Lowey and Florida Rep. Ted Deutch, in addition to Rep. Israel. 

“In my judgment, sufficient safeguards are not in place to address the risks associated with the agreement,” Lowey said in a statement. “… This agreement will leave the international community with limited options in 15 years to prevent nuclear breakout in Iran, which will be an internationally-recognized nuclear threshold state, capable of producing highly enriched uranium.” 

House Republicans already have announced they have the 218 votes lined up to oppose the deal. But, if the Senate also opposes the agreement, both chambers would need to muster a two-thirds majority to override an expected presidential veto. That’s where Democratic votes will be critical for both sides of the debate. 

Addressing concerns that the nuclear deal effectively legitimizes Iran’s nuclear program and puts it on a path to a bomb, Obama countered that a vote against the deal in Congress “would not only pave Iran’s pathway to a bomb, it would accelerate it.” 

On the sidelines of the speech, International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Yukiya Amano was meeting in Washington Wednesday with members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. 

Obama has presented the choice before lawmakers as one of war and peace. During a private meeting Tuesday with American Jewish leaders, Obama said that if Congress blocks the deal, the only option he or the next president would have for stopping Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is military action. 

Critics of the deal, including Netanyahu, say Obama is delegitimizing their concerns and instead painting them as eager for war. In a webcast Tuesday aimed at American Jews, Netanyahu called thatargument “utterly false” and said Israel wants peace, not war.

To Obama, Kennedy’s willingness to negotiate with the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War is a useful comparison for defending his engagement with Iran, a country long at odds with the U.S. and its allies, particularly Israel.

Even as they link Obama’s diplomacy to Kennedy’s, White House officials argue that the president’s Iran accord has a key advantage over the nuclear test ban treaty. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that while Kennedy had to roll back components of the U.S. nuclear program to strike a deal, Obama made no concessions to Iran that weaken U.S. national security.

While the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) and his Secretary of State John (I served in Vietnam) Kerry continue to try to push their “wonderful, magnificent deal” with the Rogue Radical Islamic Nation of Iran, down America’s throat, there are four American citizens, including a Forgotten American Man of Faith, being held in the squalor of Iranian Jails.

United States President Barack Hussein Obama has proven himself to be more concerned about America’s Enemies than our Allies…and, more concerned about reaching out to Muslim Radicals than demanding the release of Christian American Pastor Saeed Abedina, who has been held captive by Iran since the summer of 2012, and his fellow prisoners.

So, why is the President of these United States, Barack Hussein Obama, trusting Iran, an enemy of freedom, to stand by its “Agreement” to refrain from nuking the United States of America and Israel?

Iran remains our mortal enemy, who wants every single American Infidel beheaded, and, who, to this day, refers to this sacred land as “The Great Satan”.

It is well known, that a young Obama, after his mother wed a quite well-off fellow from Indonesia, attended a Madrassa, or Muslim School, in Jakarta.

I believe that the time he spent among “the religion of peace” in his youth, and the 20 years he spent under the “Reformed Muslim” (Liberation Theology) teachings of “ex”-American Muslim, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, molded and cemented his attitude toward Muslims.

Obama innately trusts Muslims…even radical ones.

Obama, Kerry, and the rest of his Liberal Dhimmi Cabal has shown where their loyalties unequivocally lie, with their braggadocio over this Chamberlain-esque “deal” that is destined to not only blow up in their faces, but also “where alabaster cities gleam, undimmed by human tears” and in the heart of the Holy Land, itself.

Obama’s concern is not with our allies nor the safety of the citizens of the United States.

Obama, as he always has been, is concerned with himself and leaving a marvelous legacy as president.

Giving Iran the means to “kill the infidels” will definitely cement Obama’s Legacy…if there is anyone left to remember it.

Iran has always been, since the ouster of the Shah, a rogue nation. They are a threat to every nation who stands in the way of their crazed Political Ideology, disguised as a “religion”.

Either due to naiveté or simple over-estimation of their own intelligence, on the part of Obama and his Administration, as regards their “superior intellect”, to quote Fred Thompson, as Admiral Josh Painter, in the great movie “The Hunt for Red October”…

This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it.

Democrat Senators Decide That It’s Okay to Sell Aborted Baby Parts

thDSZR68GOAs Planned Parenthood continues to sell aborted baby parts, the Professional Politicians on Capitol Hill continue to play procedural games.

Fox News reports that

The Senate failed Monday to advance a Republican-led measure to halt federal aid to Planned Parenthood, but leaders of the GOP-controlled chamber appear ready to continue the fight, galvanized by a series of unsettling videos about the group.

The vote to bring debate on the bill was 53 against to 46 in favor.

The measure had not been expected to get the 60 votes needed to move it toward a final vote because Republicans needed several “yeas” from Democrats, who largely support Planned Parenthood.

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin was among the Democrats who voted to defund the group. Manchin, whose state has increasingly become more Republican leaning, was undecided until a few hours before the vote.

“I am very troubled by the callous behavior of Planned Parenthood staff in (the) recently released videos, which casually discuss the sale, possibly for profit, of fetal tissue after an abortion,” he said before voting. “Until these allegations have been answered and resolved, I do not believe that taxpayer money should be used to fund this organization.”

New York Sen. Joe Donnelly was the only other Democrat to vote yes. The only Republicans to vote no were Illinois Sen. Mark Kirk and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. He voted no so he could again bring up the measure.

On the GOP side, Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa said, “The American taxpayer should not be asked to fund an organization like Planned Parenthood that has shown a sheer disdain for human dignity and complete disregard for women and their babies.”

The first of the videos were released late last month and show group officials negotiating the price of aborted fetal tissue for research.

Federal law prohibits the sale of fetal tissue for profit. And whether the officials were indeed negotiating a for-profit price, as critics charge, may never be settled.

Planned Parenthood says it only recovers costs of the procedures and gives the tissue to researchers only with a mother’s advance consent.

However, the videos have sparked renewed efforts by pro-life organizations and others to restrict abortions and undermine Planned Parenthood.

The group provides abortions and such health and family-planning services as contraception and sexual-disease treatment to roughly 2.7 million people annually, mostly women.

By law, federal funds are already barred from being used for abortions except for cases of incest, rape or when a woman’s life is in danger.

The White House says it would block legislation to defund the group.

Still, Republicans could try to gain leverage for the defund effort when Congress returns from August recess by threating to vote against spending bills to keep the government running after Sept. 30 if they include Planned Parenthood funds.

GOP leaders are reluctant to force a shutdown fight that could haunt them in the 2016 elections.

In 2013, firebrand Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz, now a 2016 presidential candidate, led a showdown against Washington Democrats over funding for ObamaCare that resulted in a partial government shutdown that voters largely blamed on Republicans.

Planned Parenthood leader Cecile Richards told Fox News on Monday that a shutdown effort would be “politically unpopular” but that her group would be prepared for such a fight.

The furtively recorded videos released in July — with close-ups of aborted fetal organs and Planned Parenthood officials describing how “I’m not going to crush that part” — have forced the group and its Democratic champions into a defensive crouch.

Democrats are sounding a theme they have employed in recent elections, characterizing the GOP drive as an assault on health care for women.

“It’s our obligation to protect our wives, our sisters, our daughters, our granddaughters” from the GOP’s “absurd policies,” Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev, said before the vote. “The Republican Party has lost its moral compass.”

The videos were made by anti-abortion group Center for Medical Progress, which has so far released four videos in which people posing as representatives of a company that purchases fetal tissue converse with Planned Parenthood officials.

In the longer term, GOP leaders are hoping that three congressional committees’ investigations, plus probes in several states and the expected release of additional videos, will produce evidence of PlannedParenthood wrongdoing and make it harder for Democrats to defend the organization.

Their measure calls for funneling Planned Parenthood’s federal dollars to other providers of health care to women, including hospitals, state and local agencies and federally financed community health centers.

Republicans say that transfer would enable women to continue receiving the health care they need because PlannedParenthood’s nearly 700 clinics are far outnumbered by other providers.

Planned Parenthood and Democrats contest that. They say many of the organization’s centers are in areas with few alternatives for reproductive health care or for other services for the low-income women who comprise a majority of its clients.

Have you ever heard of Peter Singer?

Peter Singer is an Australian philosopher and a visiting professor of bioethics at Princeton University. He also has worked as a lecturer at Oxford University, New York University, Monash University, the University of Colorado (Boulder), the University of California (Irvine), the University of Melbourne, and Princeton University’s Center for Human Values. Singer authored the 1975 book Animal Liberation, a landmark text that effectively launched the modern animal rights movement.

In his book, this lunatic claims that people should respect the moral worth of all animals…not on the basis of the animals’ intelligence, but instead, because of their ability to experience pain and suffering. He equates the denial of animals’ basic “rights” as a form of discrimination called “speciesism,” which he erroneously compares to racism and sexism.

According to Singer, it is wrong to value the life of human beings more than the lives of animals. Singer, an atheist, of course, rejects the scripture from Genesis that man has been given dominion over animals and that people are made uniquely in the image of God. He also believes that all animals have souls who are just as worthy of life. as ours’:

All three [of the foregoing axioms] taken together do have a very negative influence on the way in which we think about animals.

Singer goes on to explain that his mission is to challenge “this superiority of human beings”.

Singer, in 1979, wrote and published Practical Ethics, in which he continued his rant that animals are equal to human beings. He also states (hold on to something) that human parents should be legally permitted to kill a “severely disabled” infant up to 28 days after its birth if they deem the baby’s life unworthy of preservation.

According to this nutjob,

There are some circumstances…where the newborn baby is severely disabled and where the parents think that it’s better that that child should not live, when killing the newborn baby is not at all wrong.

Singer wrote an article for scotsman.com, in August of 2008. Here is an excerpt.

Abortion receives extensive coverage in developed countries, especially in the United States, where Republicans have used opposition to it to rally voters. But much less attention is given to the 86 per cent of all abortions that occur in the developing world. Although most countries in Africa and Latin America have laws prohibiting abortion in most circumstances, official bans do not prevent high abortion rates.

In Africa, there are 29 abortions per 1,000 women, and 32 per 1,000 in Latin America. The comparable figure for Western Europe, where abortion is generally permitted in most circumstances, is 12. According to a recent report by the World Health Organisation, unsafe abortions lead to the death of 47,000 women a year, almost all of them in developing countries. Restricting access to legal abortion leads many poor women to seek abortion from unsafe providers. The legalisation of abortion on request in South Africa in 1998 saw abortion-related deaths drop by 91 per cent. And the development of the drugs misoprostol and mifepristone, which can be provided by pharmacists, makes relatively safe and inexpensive abortion possible in developing countries.

Opponents will respond that abortion is, by its very nature, unsafe – for the foetus. They point out that abortion kills a unique, living human individual. That claim is difficult to deny, at least if by “human” we mean “member of the species Homo sapiens.”

It is also true that we cannot simply invoke a woman’s “right to choose” in order to avoid the ethical issue of the moral status of the foetus. If the foetus really did have the moral status of any other human being, it would be difficult to argue that a pregnant woman’s right to choose includes the right to bring about the death of the foetus, except perhaps when the woman’s life is at stake.

The fallacy in the anti-abortion argument lies in the shift from the scientifically accurate claim that the foetus is a living individual of the species Homo sapiens to the ethical claim that the foetus therefore has the same right to life as any other human being. Membership of the species Homo sapiens is not enough to confer a right to life.

We can plausibly argue that we ought not to kill, against their will, self-aware beings who want to continue to live. We can see this as a violation of their autonomy, or a thwarting of their preferences. But why should a being’s potential to become rationally self-aware make it wrong to end its life before it has the capacity for rationality or self-awareness?

We have no obligation to allow every being with the potential to become a rational being to realise that potential. If it comes to a clash between the supposed interests of potentially rational but not yet conscious beings and the vital interests of actually rational women, we should give preference to the women every time.

I know that I will be called a “‘Christianist’ Right Wing Reactionary Idiot”, by any Liberal, who happens to read this. But, frankly, Scarlett…well, you know.

I find it sadly fascinating that the Main Stream Media had to be forced by those of us in the New Media, to cover the Baby Parts Selling Scandal involving Planned Parenthood. They wanted, as sworn members of the Obama Propaganda Corps (pronounced “corpse”) to ignore PP and their callousness, because it did not fit the safe, antiseptic version of the abortion procedure, which they have been pushing since before Roe vs. Wade.

What they have been slapped in the face with is a harsh reality. The Planned Parenthood Scandal has placed the National Spotlight straight on the purveyors of American Infanticide. There is nothing that they can do to defend it.

I find it horrifying that there are Americans, who believe as Singer does, that we are no better than the toad in our front yard. Therefore, it is perfectly acceptable to “get rid” of us, while we are defenseless, in the same manner that an animal shelter gasses its unwanted animals.

But, God help you, if you shoot a lion.

“Vichy” Senate Republicans Refuse to Take Away Baby Part Brokers’ Funding. Instead, Worry About “Civility”.

thUAICQZDUYesterday, the Establishment Republicans in the United States Senate decided to continue to support the selling of aborted babies’ body parts.

The Senate held a rare Sunday session to cast key votes, but the real drama was several of the chamber’s senior Republicans chastising fellow GOP Sen. Ted Cruz for criticizing Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Sens. Orrin Hatch of Utah, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and John Cornyn of Texas each rose to counter a stunning floor speech Cruz gave onFriday accusing McConnell, R-Ky., of lying.

Cruz, from Texas and a 2016 presidential candidate, was never mentioned by name but was clearly the focus of the senators’ remarks.

“Squabbling and sanctimony may be tolerated in other venues and perhaps on the campaign trail, but they have no place among colleagues in the United States Senate,” said Hatch, the Senate’s president pro tempore.

Cruz then defended himself for making the accusation that McConnell had lied when he denied striking a deal to allow the vote to revive the Export-Import Bank.

“Speaking the truth about actions is entirely consistent with civility,” he said while also acknowledging that he agreed with Hatch’s calls for civility and that he was “not happy” about giving the floor speech Friday.

The drama preceded the upper chamber defeating a procedural vote to repeal ObamaCare and taking a step toward reviving the federal Export-Import Bank, both amendments on a must-pass highway bill.

Cruz also reiterated his complaint about McConnell.

“No member of this body has disputed that promise was made and that promise was broken,” he said.

Cruz’s floor speech Friday had brought nearly unheard-of drama and discord to the Senate floor. But the responses to it were just as remarkable, as senior Republicans united to defend an institution they revere and take down a junior colleague of their own party whom the appear to think has gone from being an occasional nuisance to a threat to the Senate’s ability to function with order.

Another one of the votes Sunday defeated Cruz’s attempt to overturn a ruling made Friday that blocked him from offering an amendment related to Iran.

McConnell has said that given support for the Export-Import Bank, no “special deal” was needed to bring it to a vote.

The little-known bank is a federal agency that helps foreign customers to buy U.S. goods. Conservatives oppose it as corporate welfare and are trying to end it. They won an early round, when congressional inaction allowed the bank to expire June 30 for the first time in 81 years.

But on Sunday, senators voted, 67-26, to advance legislation  to revive the bank across a procedural hurdle, making it likely that it will be added to the highway bill.

The bill was introduced by GOP Illinois Sen. Mark Kirk and North Dakota Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp. A vote on final passage could come as early Monday.

On a separate vote, the legislation to repeal ObamaCare failed to advance over a procedural hurdle. Sixty votes were needed but the total was 49-43.

The action came as the Senate tries to complete work on the highway bill ahead of a July 31 deadline. If Congress doesn’t act by then, states will lose money for highway and transit projects in the middle of the summer construction season.

With the Export-Import Bank likely added, the highway legislation faces an uncertain future in the House, where there’s strong opposition to the bank as well as to the underlying highway measure.

As I have written before, it has become quite evident to us average Americans out here in the Heartland, that those Establishment, or “Vichy” Republicans, who are currently in power in Washington, are serving themselves, rather than us.

Which is why those who dare call them on their malfeasance, such as Senator Cruz and this fellow, are so reviled by them.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa—Those who flocked to Donald Trump’s campaign event here this weekend said they liked the Republican presidential candidate’s willingness to make an unvarnished case for an antiestablishment campaign.

Interviews with dozens of the more than 1,000 people who came to see the reality-television star showed they have been drawn to him because of their skepticism of polished politicians.

“I am the silent majority. He talks for me,” said Jill Jepsen, a 61-year-old Oskaloosa retiree who brought her copy of Mr. Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal,” first published in 1987, for him to sign.

Mr. Trump’s candidacy for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination has left GOP elders in Washington, Des Moines and at campaign headquarters across the country mystified. They are convinced the New York developer’s time in the political spotlight is limited, though there’s little evidence in the polling that Mr. Trump’s surge will soon diminish.

A CNN poll released Sunday showed Mr. Trump leading the GOP field nationwide, while an NBC/Marist survey showed him ranking first in New Hampshire and a close second to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker in Iowa, both early nominating states.

Republicans who consider themselves disenfranchised from the political mainstream see Mr. Trump as a candidate they have long waited for: Someone who shares their opinions on issues like immigration—he warned last month that some Mexicans entering the country illegally are drug traffickers and rapists—that they feel members of the GOP establishment are too timid to broadcast

Average Americans want common sense Conservative American Leadership.

LEADERS WHO WILL REPRESENT THEM…not themselves.

Leaders who will stand up to our Petulant Prevaricating President.

Americans want someone who can speak like this:

I don’t believe the people I’ve met in almost every State of this Union are ready to consign this, the last island of freedom, to the dust bin of history, along with the bones of dead civilizations of the past. Call it mysticism, if you will, but I believe God had a divine purpose in placing this land between the two great oceans to be found by those who had a special love of freedom and the courage to leave the countries of their birtI don’t believe the people I’ve met in almost every State of this Union are ready to consign this, the last island of freedom, to the dust bin of history. From our forefathers to our modern-day immigrants, we’ve come from every corner of the earth, from every race and every ethnic background, and we’ve become a new breed in the world. We’re Americans and we have a rendezvous with destiny. We spread across this land, building farms and towns and cities, and we did it without any federal land planning program or urban renewal.

Indeed, we gave birth to an entirely new concept in man’s relation to man. We created government as our servant, beholden to us and possessing no powers except those voluntarily granted to it by us. Now a self-anointed elite in our nation’s capital would have us believe we are incapable of guiding our own destiny. They practice government by mystery, telling us it’s too complex for our understanding. Believing this, they assume we might panic if we were to be told the truth about our problems.

Why should we become frightened? No people who have ever lived on this earth have fought harder, paid a higher price for freedom, or done more to advance the dignity of man than the living Americans the Americans living in thisland today. There isn’t any problem we can’t solve if government will give us the facts. Tell us what needs to be done. Then, get out of the way and let us have at it.

That was Ronald Wilson Reagan, the greatest American President in my lifetime, a man who brought us together, instead of pitting us against each other….a man who stood up to tyranny, instead of embracing it…a man who fought for the rights of the unborn…instead of declaring them “a punishment”…A LEADER…NOT A FOLLOWER.

Until the good ol’ boys in the Northeast Republicans’ Club, or Vichy Republicans, as I like to call them, realize that the majority of Americans out here in the Heartland are still Conservative “bitter clingers” who love God and country, they, like Eric Cantor before them, will be victims of their own hubris, and will lose their cushy jobs.

And, it will be nobody’s fault but their own,

Trump, Cruz, and the “New American Revolution”

…I asked the majority leader very directly what was the deal that was just cut on TPA and was there a deal for the Export-Import Bank.  It was a direct question I asked the majority leader in front of all the Republicans senators.  The majority leader was visibly angry with me that I would ask such a question, and the majority leader looked at me and said, “There is no deal, there is no deal, there is no deal.”  Like St. Peter, he repeated it three times.  TPA moved on.  As it evergreen to the house it became abundantly there was a deal.  There was a deal in the house for the Export-Import Bank.  And so the second time TPA come up, I voted “no” because of that corrupt deal.

…I urge the majority leader, invoke cloture on Senator Rubio’s amendment, calling on Iran to recognize Israel’s right to exist and setting that as a precondition any lifting of sanctions.  I argued vociferously with the majority leader that if the Democrats were so opposed to voting on that amendment, that was all the more reason ’cause it was important substantively, and the majority leader said no, he would not do so — that invoking cloture on an amendment was an extraordinary step, and he wouldn’t do so.  So, he cut off every amendment — the same procedural abuse that Harry Reid did over and over and over again in this body. Now, the Republican leader is behaving like the senior senator from Nevada.

…There is a pronounced it disappointment among the American people, because we keep winning elections, and then we keep getting leaders who don’t do anything they promised.  The American people were told, “You know, the problem is the Senate. If only we get a Republican majority in the Senate and retire Harry Reid as majority leader, then things will be different.”  What has that majority done?  We came back and passed a trillion-dollar Cromnibus plan, filled with pork and corporate welfare.  That was the very first thing we did.  Then this Republican majority voted to fund Obamacare, voted to fund President Obama’s unconstitutional executive  amnesty, and then leadership rammed through the confirmation of Loretta Lynch as attorney general.  Madam President, which of those decisions would be one iota difference if Harry Reid were still majority leader? Not a one.

On a related note, it was also reported yesterday, that, according to polls taken after Republican Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump, stood up to Octogenarian and Former Failed Presidential Candidate, US Senator John McCain, that the bold and brash American Entrepreneur is still comfortably ahead of the other Republican Presidential Hopefuls.

Did you watch Popeye cartoons as a kid?

I sure did. From the black and white ones, to the later ones, where they changed the name of Popeye’s enemy from “Brutus” to “Bluto”.

The late Robin Williams, while he was in the process of  learning the voice of Popeye for the live action movie in which she starred, told an interviewer that when Popeye was mumbling to himself, he was actually cursing in those old black and white cartoons.

But, I digress…

I believe that what Senator Ted Cruz did yesterday, mirrors the feelings of the majority of the American people.

To paraphrase the words of Popeye,

We’ve had all we can stands, we just can’t stands no more.

I’m not shy about stating that I like Senator Ted Cruz. He is a straight shooter, who is not afraid to tell it like it is.

The Republican Establishment, or Vichy Republicans, as I have dubbed them, are pushing potential Presidential Candidates for 2016 whose platforms are so similar to those of their potential Democrat Opponents are to be virtually indistinguishable.

Oblivious of their past failures (i.e., Dole, McCain, and Romney), while pursuing their milksop Political Philosophy, the Vichy Republicans, or GOPe, as an internet friend has named them, cling to their mission to hold onto their cushy Seats of Power, recently given to them last November by us, their Conservative Base, by playing an old, tired political game.

Make no mistake, they will defend the Washingtonian Status Quo to their last breath, and savage anyone who threatens it, with the help of their allies from “across the aisle”, the Democrats and their minions in the Main Stream media. Look at how they have attacked Senator Ted Cruz and Donald J. Trump.

They have called them both everything but Children of God.

However, they are not the first outspoken Republican Politicians to be attacked in this manner, in this generation.  That honor belonged to the greatest United States President in our lifetime.

On March 1, 1975, the Great Communicator and Future President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan, spoke the following words at the 2nd Annual CPAC Convention. He may as well have been speaking yesterday.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

Let us show that we stand for fiscal integrity and sound money and above all for an end to deficit spending, with ultimate retirement of the national debt.

Let us also include a permanent limit on the percentage of the people’s earnings government can take without their consent.

Let our banner proclaim a genuine tax reform that will begin by simplifying the income tax so that workers can compute their obligation without having to employ legal help.

And let it provide indexing — adjusting the brackets to the cost of living — so that an increase in salary merely to keep pace with inflation does not move the taxpayer into a surtax bracket. Failure to provide this means an increase in government’s share and would make the worker worse off than he was before he got the raise.

Let our banner proclaim our belief in a free market as the greatest provider for the people. Let us also call for an end to the nit-picking, the harassment and over-regulation of business and industry which restricts expansion and our ability to compete in world markets.

Let us explore ways to ward off socialism, not by increasing government’s coercive power, but by increasing participation by the people in the ownership of our industrial machine.

Our banner must recognize the responsibility of government to protect the law-abiding, holding those who commit misdeeds personally accountable.

And we must make it plain to international adventurers that our love of peace stops short of “peace at any price.”

We will maintain whatever level of strength is necessary to preserve our free way of life.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

Timeless Advice.

Liberals are beside themselves trying to figure out why Donald Trump is leading all of the other Republican candidates, several of whom more closely mirror their own political ideology, as I mentioned earlier.

Both Trump and Senator Cruz are striking a resident note with the majority of American people because they are saying the things which we would like to say to these professional politicians, who have forgotten who gave them their phony baloney jobs.

Liberals, during the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama, have had their way in the course of a great many things.

Plain talk and forthrighteousness have been replaced by weasel words and political correctness.

The fulfilling of promises made to constituencies by Republican politicians, has been replaced by “Vichy Republicans” “going along to get along” with their drinking buddies from across the Political Aisle.

Just as the colonists revolted against taxation without representation, I believe that we are seeing the beginning of a revolt by average Americans, like you and me, living here in the Heartland of America, who have had enough of lies and broken promises, given to them, by politicians who are supposed to be serving them and not the other way around.

The recent backlash against Barack Hussein Obama’s reluctance to lower the American flag on all government buildings after the massacre of five of our Brightest and Best, after he and Valerie Jarret immediately bathed the White House is a rainbow of spotlights, after the Political Activists in the Supreme Court legalized Gay Marriage, is just a prelude to what I believe that we will see next.

The American people are getting ready to exercise their Constitutional Right to determine the future of our nation, in a mighty way in November of 2016.

I have a Word of Warning to the Republicans on Capitol Hill:

It is time to man up, boys and girls, and actually represent your constituencies, and not yourself.

As actor Kevin Kline, playing the title role in the movie “Dave”, in which he impersonated the president of United States, said about the presidency,

This is just a temp job, at best.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Get the hint, Republicans.

Lead, follow…or, get out of the way.

Judicial Activism is on the verge of changing our nation from one which cherishes the Faith and Heritage, which those before us sacrificed their very lives for, to a shallow, live-for-the-moment collection of individuals, worshiping at the altar of Popular Culture and Political Correctness.

Fox News reports that

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and his conservative colleagues may have been overruled in Thursday’s decision upholding ObamaCare subsidies, but they didn’t go down without a fight. 

The firebrand conservative justice delivered one of the most scathing and linguistically creative dissents in recent memory. In a 21-page rebuttal, Scalia and two other justices tore into the Affordable Care Act and the court’s handling of it over the years — effectively accusing their colleagues of twisting the law for the sake of preserving President Obama’s signature policy. 

“Today’s interpretation is not merely unnatural; it is unheard of,” Scalia wrote, joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. 

The case itself centered on language in the original law that technically limited subsidies to people buying insurance in exchanges set up by the states. Opponents said this made subsidies through the federal exchange invalid. 

“You would think the answer would be obvious — so obvious there would hardly be a need for the Supreme Court to hear a case about it,” Scalia wrote.

The majority, though, upheld subsidies everywhere, arguing that is what Congress intended.  

Scalia in his dissent scolded his colleagues’ handling of Affordable Care Act challenges, writing, “We should just start calling this law SCOTUScare,” referring to the several times the high court has ruled on controversial parts of ObamaCare. 

At one point, he panned the majority’s reasoning as “pure applesauce.” 

Scalia essentially made two major points: he accused the court of playing favorites by letting politics get in the way, and claimed the majority’s opinion contained “somersaults of statutory interpretation.”

The conservative justice attacked the logic behind the ruling as “interpretive jiggery-pokery” and said the result shows “words no longer have meaning.” 

He wrote: “The Court forgets that ours is a government of laws and not of men. That means we are governed by the terms of our laws, not by the unenacted will of our lawmakers.”

Drilling down to the language of the case itself, he wrote: “The court holds that when the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act says ‘Exchange established by the State’ it means ‘Exchange established by the State or the Federal Government,’ That is of course quite absurd, and the court’s 21 pages of explanation make it no less so.”

He noted the other justices have stepped in twice now to block what he considered worthy challenges to the law, including the 2012 case challenging the individual mandate. Scalia suggested the court is now in a position of protecting the law, writing: “Under all the usual rules of interpretation, in short, the Government should lose this case. But normal rules of interpretation seem always to yield to the overriding principle of the present Court: The Affordable Care Act must be saved.”

The Thursday decision was 6-3.

Chief Justice John Roberts delivered the majority opinion. He said that while the law’s wording was problematic, Congress’ intent was clear. 

“Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them. If at all possible, we must interpret the Act in a way that is consistent with the former, and avoids the latter,” he wrote. “Those credits are necessary for the Federal Exchanges to function like their State Exchange counterparts, and to avoid the type of calamitous result that Congress plainly meant to avoid.”

Justices Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Stephen Breyer ruled in favor of the subsidies.

A House Republican on Thursday proposed forcing the Supreme Court justices and their staff to enroll in ObamaCare.

Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) said that his SCOTUScare Act would make all nine justices and their employees join the national healthcare law’s exchanges.

“As the Supreme Court continues to ignore the letter of the law, it’s important that these six individuals understand the full impact of their decisions on the American people,” he said. 

“That’s why I introduced the SCOTUScare Act to require the Supreme Court and all of its employees to sign up for ObamaCare,” Babin said.

Babin’s potential legislation would only let the federal government provide healthcare to the Supreme Court and its staff via ObamaCare exchanges.

“By eliminating their exemption from ObamaCare, they will see firsthand what the Americanpeople are forced to live with,” he added.

It has been a rough week for America. We have seen the Southern Half of our contiguous 48 states mercilessly attacked by those who would rather that we ignore our history, than grow because of it, to rewrite history, rather than to learn from it, and, to blame an inanimate object, a flag, for the actions of a racist sociopath.

And now, we have witness the Judicial Branch of our Government, assume the duties of the Legislative Branch, in blatant protection of the Executive Branch.

In the midst of my anger, I thought about this moment in history…so very long ago…

To avoid interference from Lieutenant-Governor Dunmore and his Royal Marines, the Second Virginia Convention met March 20, 1775 inland at Richmond–in what is now called St. John’s Church–instead of the Capitol in Williamsburg. Delegate Patrick Henry presented resolutions to raise a militia, and to put Virginia in a posture of defense. Henry’s opponents urged caution and patience until the crown replied to Congress’ latest petition for reconciliation.

On the 23rd, Henry presented a proposal to organize a volunteer company of cavalry or infantry in every Virginia county. By custom, Henry addressed himself to the Convention’s president, Peyton Randolph of Williamsburg. Henry’s words were not transcribed, but no one who heard them forgot their eloquence, or Henry’s closing words: “Give me liberty, or give me death!”

…And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves. Sir, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

OUR Revolution will be a peaceful one.  Our weapons will be our ballots. The outcome will be the same:  Freedom from those who would rule our lives.

On November 8, 2016, Americans will once again fire the shot heard ’round the world.

Hillary Announces Candidacy: “At This Point, What Difference Does It Make?”

 

Hillary Ramirez CartoonThe inevitable happened yesterday, as Former First Lady, New York Senator, and Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton announced her intention to seek the Democratic Party’s Presidential Candidate Nomination.

I hurled.

But, I digress…

The Daily Mail reports that

Hillary Rodham Clinton is running for president, leaning on a message of middle-class rescue and claims that America’s economy is ‘still stacked in favor of those at the top,’ according to a campaign video that went online Sunday afternoon.

‘I’m getting ready to do something,’ Clinton says in the brief ad, following a series of clips of ordinary-looking Americans describing what they’re ‘getting ready’ for.

‘I’m running for president,’ she says. 

‘Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion.’  

That message is a daring one, given Clinton’s wealth. When she left the U.S. State Department in 2013, her financial disclosure report showed that her combined net worth with her husband was between $5.2 and $25.5 million. Millions more rolled in when she published her memoirs.

She famously claimed last year that she and former president Bill Clinton were ‘dead broke’ whenthey left the White House in 2001 – when they moved into a palatial home in a tree-lined New York City suburb.  

Clinton’s chief of staff John Podesta pushed a similar ‘middle-class’ message, but stepped on her announcement with his own email to a group of donors. 

Some mixed reactions to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 bid

‘I wanted to make sure you heard it first from me — it’s official: Hillary’s running for president,’ Podesta wrote. 

He said the former secretary of state ‘is hitting the road to Iowa to start talking directly with voters. There will be a formal kickoff event next month.’

‘We need to make the middle class mean something again,’ Podesta’s email closed. ‘We can do this.’

From her mother’s own childhood – in which she was abandoned by her parents – to her work going door-to-door for the Children’s Defense Fund to her battling to create the Children’s Health Insurance Program, she’s fought children and families all her career. Clinton’s press office left an embarrassing typo in its press announcement, saying that she had ‘fought children and families all her career’

Podesta leads the Podesta Group, one of Washington’s most powerful lobbying firms. He was a senior adviser to President Barack Obama until February. 

Clinton, too, is part of the upper-crust of America’s wealth pool, earning millions since she left public office. 

The campaign’s internal schedule had called for a 12:00 p.m. tweet linked to a video, revealing the worst-kept secret in America to more than 3 million online followers. In reality, the big reveal was nearly two and a half hours late.

Clinton is entering the 2016 race without a splashy announcement of the kind that Republicans are staging for cheering throngs this month. 

That strategy will help her skirt the kind of uncomfortable media questions that tend to dog anyone named Clinton.

There will be no press conferences, no grand speeches until at least early May, and few interviews. 

Also missing: Her campaign website includes a lengthy biography but no discussion of issues, no policy platforms and no staked-out ideological territory.

Hillary for America, the official campaign organization, said in a statement that Clinton is ‘committed to spending the next 6 to 8 weeks in a “ramp up” period where her team will start to build a nation-wide grassroots organization, and she will spend her time engaging directly with voters.’ 

In May, once her supporters in all 50 states are organized for house parties or to watch over live-streams,’ the statement said, ‘Hillary will hold her first rally and deliver the speech to kick off her campaign.

As a candidate, Mrs. Clinton carries more baggage than American Airlines.

In his new book, “Blood Feud,” Edward Klein explores the contentious, jealous relationship between Bill and Hillary Clinton and Barack and Michelle Obama. In this excerpt, he explains what happened the night of the Benghazi attack.

By 10 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2012, when Hillary Clinton received a call from President Obama, she was one of the most thoroughly briefed officials in Washington on the unfolding disaster in Benghazi, Libya.

She knew that Ambassador Christopher Stevens and a communications operator were dead, and that the attackers had launched a well-coordinated mortar assault on the CIA annex, which would cost the lives of two more Americans.

She had no doubt that a terrorist attack had been launched against America on the anniversary of 9/11. However, when Hillary picked up the phone and heard Obama’s voice, she learned the president had other ideas in mind. With less than two months before Election Day, he was still boasting that he had al Qaeda on the run.

If the truth about Benghazi became known, it would blow that argument out of the water.

“Hillary was stunned when she heard the president talk about the Benghazi attack,” one of her top legal advisers said in an interview. “Obama wanted her to say that the attack had been a spontaneous demonstration triggered by an obscure video on the Internet that demeaned the Prophet Mohammed.”

This adviser continued: “Hillary told Obama, ‘Mr. President, that story isn’t credible. Among other things, it ignores the fact that the attack occurred on 9/11.’ But the president was adamant. He said, ‘Hillary, I need you to put out a State Department release as soon as possible.’”

After her conversation with the president, Hillary called Bill Clinton, who was at his penthouse apartment in the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, and told him what Obama wanted her to do.

“I’m sick about it,” she said, according to the legal adviser, who was filled in on the conversation.

“That story won’t hold up,” Bill said. “I know,” Hillary said. “I told the president that.” “It’s an impossible story,” Bill said. “I can’t believe the president is claiming it wasn’t terrorism. Then again, maybe I can. It looks like Obama isn’t going to allow anyone to say that terrorism has occurred on his watch.”

Hillary’s legal adviser provided further detail: “During their phone call, Bill started playing with various doomsday scenarios, up to and including the idea that Hillary consider resigning as secretary of state over the issue. But both he and Hillary quickly agreed that resigning wasn’t a realistic option.

If her resignation hurt Obama’s chances of winning re-election, her fellow Democrats would never forgive her. Hillary was already thinking of running for president in 2016, and her political future, as well as Obama’s, hung in the balance.”

Obama had put Hillary in a corner, and she and Bill didn’t see a way out. And so, shortly after 10 o’clock on the night of September 11, she released an official statement that blamed the Benghazi attack on an “inflammatory (video) posted on the Internet.”

The Benghazi Deception was in full swing.

And, it never stopped swinging (or, spinning).

Remember when Hillary fainted before she was supposed to appear before the House Committee investigating that horrible night in Benghazi? According to Klein,

To begin with, Hillary fainted while she was working in her seventh-floor office at the State Department, not at home, as Reines told the media. She was treated at the State Department’s infirmary and then, at her own insistence, taken to Whitehaven to recover. However, as soon as Bill appeared on the scene and was able to assess Hillary’s condition for himself, he ordered that she be immediately flown to New York–Presbyterian Hospital in the Fort Washington section of Manhattan. When Reines subsequently released a statement confirming that Hillary was being treated at the hospital over the New Year’s holiday, it naturally intensified speculation about the seriousness of her medical condition.

While she was at the hospital, doctors diagnosed Hillary with several problems.

She had a right transverse venous thrombosis, or a blood clot between her brain and skull. She had developed the clot in one of the veins that drains blood from the brain to the heart. The doctors explained that blood stagnates when you spend a lot of time on airplanes, and Hillary had clocked countless hours flying around the world.

To make matters worse, it turned out that Hillary had an intrinsic tendency to form clots and faint. In addition to the fainting spell she suffered in Buffalo a few years before, she had fainted boarding her plane in Yemen, fallen and fractured her elbow in 2009, and suffered other unspecified fainting episodes. Several years earlier, she had developed a clot in her leg and was put on anticoagulant therapy by her doctor. However, she had foolishly stopped taking her anticoagulant medicine, which might have explained the most recent thrombotic event.

“The unique thing about clotting in the brain is that it could have transformed into a stroke,” said a cardiac specialist with knowledge of Hillary’s condition.

…According to a source close to Hillary, a thorough medical examination revealed that Hillary’s tendency to form clots was the least of her problems. She also suffered from a thyroid condition, which was common among women of her age, and her fainting spells indicated there was an underlying heart problem as well. A cardiac stress test indicated that her heart rhythm and heart valves were not normal. Put into layman’s language, her heart valves were not pumping in a steady way.

When the author attempted to contact the Clintons’ cardiologist, Dr. Allan Schwartz, he refused to comment, which made it impossible to determine the exact nature of Hillary’s medical status or its long-term significance. However, sources who dis- cussed Hillary’s medical condition with her were told that Hillary’s doctors considered performing valve-replacement surgery. They ultimately decided against it. Still, before they released Hillary from the hospital, they warned Bill Clinton: “She has to be carefully monitored for the rest of her life.” 

So, why hasn’t all of this come to light before now? The reason is simple, per Klein,

She had managed to keep her medical history secret out of fear that, should it become public, it would disqualify her from becoming president

Well….after her new Book. “Hard Choices”, tanked so spectacularly this past week, she may not have to worry about that. Per The Weekly Standard,

…a veteran publishing source calls the latest Hillary Clinton book, Hard Choices, a memoir of her State Department years, a “bomb.” The source is referring to the early but underwhelming sales figures.

“Between us, they are nervous at S&S [Simon & Schuster],” says the source, who gave permission for his email to be published. “Sales were well below expectations and the media was a disaster.”

According to this source, a Simon & Schuster insider, “They sold 60,000 hard covers first week and 24,000 ebooks.” The publishing house was “hoping and praying for 150,000 print first week.”

“The 60k represents a less than 10% sell thru based on what they shipped,” says the source.

It’s been reported that one million copies of Clinton’s book were shipped weeks before the June 10 publication date. “They will be lucky to sell 150,000 total lifetime,” the source writes in the email.

Hillary reportedly received a near-$14 million advance, a sum the publishing house will unlikely make back.

“It’s a bomb but it will be interesting to see how they spin it.”

Ruby Cramer of BuzzFeed reported earlier today that Barnes & Noble sold 24,000 of Clinton’s book.

Remember this from January 23, 2013’s Wall Street Journal?

Hillary Clinton is ending her tenure as secretary of state in fiery fashion. “You really get the sense that [Mrs.] Clinton barely managed to restrain herself from dropping an F-bomb there,” remarks New York magazine’s Dan Amira. He refers to an exchange between the secretary and Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin at a Foreign Relations Committee hearing this morning.

Johnson pressed her about the administration’s conflicting explanations for the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which killed the ambassador and three other Americans. “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans,” said the secretary snappishly to the senator. “Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator.”

So, what difference does Hillary’s lying about Benghazi and her health make?

Answer: A lot.

As Americans, we have already suffered under a Democratic President with no ethics or moral compass, whatsoever. Why should we subject ourselves to all of that pain and suffering again?

Back in the early 1980s’, HBO taped a couple of live performances of America’s “Clown Prince of Comedy”, Richard “Red” Skelton. Even though the ol’ redhead was 78 years old, he was still as sharp as a tack…and was still an absolute master of comedic timing. At one point,  he was telling the audience how much he loved his wife, when abruptly,he looked from side to side, got a mischievous grin of his legendary face and said,

But, where that woman spits, grass never grows again.

He could have been speaking about Hillary Clinton.

She doesn’t deserve to be a school teacher, much less the President of the United States.
