The New Boston Massacre Bombers…Part of the 47%?

Boston BomberThe big news yesterday, regarding the Muslin Brothers responsible for the New Boston Massacre, was that the oldest brother  who has, thankfully, assumed room temperature (yeah, I said it.) and his family, were on the Government dole.

That’s right. You heard me. We financed a Muslim Terrorist.

But, wait…there’s more. Even though…

The brothers were not receiving transitional assistance benefits at the time of the incident and have not received any transitional assistance benefits this year. The Tsarnaevs’ parents are former recipients of transitional assistance benefits, and both Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev received benefits through their parents when they were younger. Separately, Tamerlan and his family received benefits until 2012, when the family became ineligible based on their income.

In other words, the family immigrated here, and then, soaked the system…for all it was worth.

What has happened to OUR country?

I tell you what has happened: Obama happened. The Manchurian President is deliberately turning “the shining city on a hill” into a Democratic Socialist Nation. The next thing you know, Baracky Claus will be passing out little Red Books and Mao Christmas Ornaments.

Don’t believe me? Want further proof? Here’s a story from The Washington Post:

A good recruiter needs to be liked, so Dillie Nerios filled gift bags with dog toys for the dog people and cat food for the cat people. She packed crates of cookies, croissants, vegetables and fresh fruit. She curled her hair and painted her nails fluorescent pink. “A happy, it’s-all-good look,” she said, checking her reflection in the rearview mirror. Then she drove along the Florida coast to sign people up for food stamps.

Her destination on a recent morning was a 55-and-over community in central Florida, where single-wide trailers surround a parched golf course. On the drive, Nerios, 56, reviewed techniques she had learned for connecting with some of Florida’s most desperate senior citizens during two years on the job. Touch a shoulder. Hold eye contact. Listen for as long as it takes. “Some seniors haven’t had anyone to talk to in some time,” one of the state-issued training manuals reads. “Make each person feel like the only one who matters.”

In fact, it is Nerios’s job to enroll at least 150 seniors for food stamps each month, a quota she usually exceeds. Alleviate hunger, lessen poverty: These are the primary goals of her work. But the job also has a second and more controversial purpose for cash-strapped Florida, where increasing food-stamp enrollment has become a means of economic growth, bringing almost $6 billion each year into the state. The money helps to sustain communities, grocery stores and food producers. It also adds to rising federal entitlement spending and the U.S. debt.

Nerios prefers to think of her job in more simple terms: “Help is available,” she tells hundreds of seniors each week. “You deserve it. So, yes or no?”

In Florida and everywhere else, the answer in 2013 is almost always yes. A record 47 million Americans now rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps, available for people with annual incomes below about $15,000. The program grew during the economic collapse because 10 million more Americans dropped into poverty. It has continued to expand four years into the recovery because state governments and their partner organizations have become active promoters, creating official “SNAP outreach plans” and hiring hundreds of recruiters like Nerios.

A decade ago, only about half of eligible Americans chose to sign up for food stamps. Now that number is 75 percent.

Obama is intentionally trying to expand those dependent of the Federal Government for their very existence. It is a classic Marxist Strategy: Create a Proletariat who are in eternal debt to The State. Buy their loyalty, through the misuse of taxes called from the Bourgeois, or, Middle Class.  Why do you think that Obama practices Class Warfare every chance he gets?

When I write about the deteriorating effect of the Government Dole, I know of where I speak…I used to work at a State-run “Jobs Center”.

While at the Employment Office, I was able to observe folks down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy.

I also saw American families whose existence, living on the Government Dole, had become generational.

It is these people whom Obama and the Democrats have hypnotized into believing that Uncle Sugar loves them, and is their only solution to surviving a stifling existence.

They are so, so wrong.

The strength and vitality of America does not come from the benevolence of a Nanny-state Federal Government.

As the greatest American President of our lifetime, Ronald Reagan said:

The nine words you never want to hear are:  I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

Being enslaved to the Government Dole steals one’s ambition.  It takes away any impetus or desire to create a better life for yourself and your family, to challenge yourself to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and pursue the American Dream.  It makes you reliant on a politically-motivated spider’s web full of government bureaucrats who view you and your family as job security.

I watched American citizens trapped in this web of government bureaucracy,  so numbed of any initiative that they once had, that they seemed offended that they actually had to prove that they inquired about three jobs that week in order to keep their “benefits”.  Others seemed puzzled that they had to search through the state data base and pick out a job that they wanted to talk to an interviewer about receiving a referral to, and were not just simply handed a job when they walked through the door.

Unfortunately, judging by the family of the Boston Bomber, and, the push by the Obama Administration to get as many Americans, on the Government Dole as possible,  including non-citizens, this trend will continue. And, the 47% will not be 47% for long.

Eventually, those who do not want to work will outnumber those of us who actually do.

The Proletariat will outnumber the Bourgeois.

And then, America will be one giant Detroit: a place that used to thrive, replaced by desolation.

Will the last  taxpayer in America, please turn off the light?

The New Boston Massacre: They Still Won’t Say It!!!

One week ago yesterday, our collective world, as American citizens, was once again rocked by a violent attack by Muslim Terrorists who wanted to “kill the infidels”.

They fashioned crude IEDs and put them in pressure cookers. When the bombs exploded, hundreds lay dead, maimed, or injured.

Since then, as the manhunt ensued, we listened, as the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama (peace be upon him) told us “that we shouldn’t rush to judgement” concerning the political/religious ideology of the murderous hyenas responsible for this New Boston Massacre.

After The Lightbringer’s Royal Decree, his loyal subjects in the Main Stream Media started speculating as to the identity and motives of the perpetrator or perpetrators of this horrible crime. Of course, you never heard a single one of these trained monkeys speculate that it could be…**gasp**…adherents of the “religion of peace”.

Allah forbid.

According to these “journalists”, the person responsible was either a Tea Party member, an individual torqued off about the high income tax rate, a doomsday prepper, or a Southern Baptist from Mississippi.

Of course, they believed with every fiber of their beings that they were right. After all, Barack the First had solved the “Muslim Problem” back in July of 2009, in his “Outreach to the Muslim World” Speech at the University of Cairo in Egypt, when he said,

Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition. I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. That is the spirit we need today. People in every country should be free to choose and live their faith based upon the persuasion of the mind and the heart and the soul. This tolerance is essential for religion to thrive, but it’s being challenged in many different ways.

Among some Muslims, there’s a disturbing tendency to measure one’s own faith by the rejection of somebody else’s faith. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld — whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. (Applause.) And if we are being honest, fault lines must be closed among Muslims, as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq.

Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That’s why I’m committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit — for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We can’t disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretense of liberalism.

In fact, faith should bring us together.

Evidently, judging by Arab Spring, and now, the New Boston Massacre, just to name a couple of Terrorist attacks, the Muslim Extremists didn’t buy what ol’ Scooter  was selling.

In fact, just yesterday, Canadian authorities thwarted a planned Terrorist Attack in the city of Quebec.

Does being a Liberal, just naturally make you gullible?

Obama has held meetings with the Muslim Brotherhood, the Godfather of all Muslim Terrorist Groups, and he actually had pomposity and stupidity to hold those meetings in OUR house! He has given them combat jets and money to keep their stranglehold on Egypt.

I guess he’s just living up to the words which Bomber Bill Ayers wrote down for him in the book, “Audacity of Hope”, when he was speaking about the possibility of the American citizenry turning against the Muslims…

I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

Evidently, his loyal minions in the Main Stream Media have decided to stand with them, too. Even though, these particular Muslims are mass murderers.

Associated Press will only admit that it was the brothers’ “religion” that motivated them to go through with the New Boston Massacre. They refuse to identify  their religion, even though it is now publicly known that they were and are Muslim Terrorists.

Who do they think they are fooling? Even Pookie, sitting on her couch, isn’t that stupid.

The great British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, wrote about Muslim Fanaticism in 1899…

Ol’ Winnie would shake his head in disgust, if he saw that Sharia Law was active in the United Kingdom today.

With the president and the Main Stream Media’s dubious, politically correct complicity in a semantic cover-up on the true political/religious ideology of the Muslim Terrorists responsible for the New Boston Massacre, it’s  a wonder that we know anything at all about what really happened.

The president swore to protect us from “enemies foreign and domestic”.

Evidently, that promise, like 99.9% of every promise he makes,(except for the one about standing with the Muslims) came with an expiration date.

God protect us.

Say it! SAY IT!!! They’re Muslim Terrorists!!!

muslimsignLast night, as I watched President Barack Hussein Obama (peace be upon him) congratulate Law Enforcement Officials on the capture of the second New Boston Massacre Suspect, I listened to the president dance a Politically Correct Liberal two-step, as he refused to identify the religious/political ideology of the two Chechan brothers, just as his minions in the Main Stream Media have refused to identify this fact, since the story broke.

My mind, unique space between my ears that it is, flashed back to this famous scene between the late great Rodney Dangerfield, and the late , great Sam Kinison, in the movie Back to School. Kinison is a history professor, and Dangerfield is the successful businessman father of an under-achieving freshman, who decides to go back to school, to be there for his son.

How come we didn’t cross the 38th parallel…and push those rice-eaters back to the Great Wall of China…and take it apart brick by brick…and nuke them back into the f!@#in’ stone age forever?

For anybody with more than 2 working brain cells, (and, I know that leaves out a lot of Liberals) once the brothers were identified as Chechan, it was game over.

Chechnya is one of the more politically unstable regions in Russia’s North Caucasus, dating back to when, in 1991, it attempted to declare its independence as the Soviet Union dissolved.

Militant Islamists were blamed for an bunch of high-profile bombings and hostage-takings in Russia, the worst ones being the 2002 killings of 129 people inside a Moscow theater and the 2004 bloody massacre that left more than 300 dead in a Beslan school.

In October 2010, in an attack on Chechnya’s regional parliament, three suicide bombers killed six and wounded 17.

Chechen rebels have also proudly admitted to the November 2009 bombing of a high-speed train that killed 28, an August 2009 suicide truck bomb attack that killed 25 at a police station, and an August 2004 Moscow subway station bombing that killed 10.

The vast majority of all the violence associated with the region has remained in North Caucasus, with the New Boston Massacre being the first report of alleged Chechen terrorism spreading to the West.

Islamic militants from Chechnya have spread into neighboring areas in recent years, and were suspects in near-daily attacks against police and the government in the nearby Russian province of Dagestan.

Officials in Russia have insisted for years that the Chechen insurgents were linked with Al Qaeda, the terrorist group behind the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

So, why have Liberals, in the MSM, and elsewhere, been so afraid to call Muslim Terrorists, Muslim Terrorists?

Is it because of that heinous practice, known as Political Correctness?

We’ve all been a victim of it. And, it’s not just the Liberals who practice it.

A short time back, a young Libertarian lady, who just happens to be Black, had posted an article in a Facebook Page for Conservatives and Libertarians, featuring Patti Davis, the Liberal (and crazy) daughter of Former President Ronald Reagan. Davis had come out as the moral arbiter of some issue, and I pointed out that she was not fit to be the “moral arbiter” in any situation, as, to torque off her Dad, and make a political statement, she had posed topless for the cover of Playboy in 1994 with a Black guy, standing behind her, cupping her…umm…chest.

Both the young lady and her husband, who happens to be White, jumped on me, like I was some sort of RAAACIIIST, because I stated the obvious.

Just as they were different back in the 70s, when Bud Yorkin and Norman Lear created All in the Family, starring the great American actor, Carroll O’Connor. The misadventures of Archie Bunker and his family could not be a hit today. Our tolerant American Liberals (and others) would not allow it. And, the lessons learned from that ground-breaking television series would be lost.

Perhaps, the reticence by the Media to identify the religious/political ideology of the two brothers is something else: loyalty to President Barack Hussein Obama.

They have a lot invested in The Lightbringer. They have campaigned endlessly for him, and the majority of “Broadcast Journalists” share his vision for a Socialist Utopia America. Additionally, the White House has been known to send e-mails and make telephone calls to these bastions of journalistic integrity, when they want something swept under the Oval Office rug.

The fact that these murdering terrorists are Muslims, does not reflect well on our dhimmi President. In fact, it proves that Smart Power! is anything, but.

Additionally, the fact that these two got into our sovereign land in the first place, shows the folly of relaxing our already-porous Immigration Laws (Sorry, Sen. Rubio.).

With the resounding defeat of Obama’s Gun Confiscation Bill, and now, in the aftermath of the New Boston Massacre, the Obama Administration and their Main Stream Media lackeys are bailing, just as fast as they can, in order to save Obama’s sinking Ship of State.

Oh, but, just wait.You ain’t seen nothin’, yet.

Doubling down on stupid, Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder will insist on trying the surviving Muslim Terrorist in Boston, thereby endangering its citizens by setting the stage for retaliation, instead of tossing him in Gitmo, and throwing away the key.

But, hey. What do I know. I’m just an ignorant old Conservative cracka’, living here in America’s Heartland.

Gun Control: A Defeated Obama Seeks to Bypass the Will of the People…Again

gun rightsYesterday, Liberals  were walking around aimlessly, like zombies from the popular A&E television series, The Walking Dead, after their cause celebre,, Gun Control was soundly defeated in the U.S. Senate.

In a conference call to some of their Power Brokers, who have invested heavily in the Quest for Gun Confiscation, Vice-President Biden announced the following,

Look…I know you’re going to say that I’m just being an optimist and I’m trying to put a good face on this. But you know I’ve been around here a long time and we’ve already done, because of you, some really good things. Number one, the president is already lining up some additional executive actions he’s going to be taking later this week.

An executive order, sometimes known as a proclamation, is a directive handed down directly from the President of the United States without input from the legislative or judicial branches. Executive orders can only be given to federal or state agencies, not to citizens, even though we wind up bearing the brunt of them.

Executive orders go all the way back to our first president, George Washington. Presidents have used them to lead the nation through times of war, to respond to natural disasters and economic crises, to encourage or to limit regulation by federal agencies, to promote civil rights, or in the case of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, to set up Japanese internment camps, in order to revoke civil rights.

So, can Obama do whatever the H*e* double*hockey*sticks he wants to do, through the use of Executive Orders?

Not exactly.

Rush Limbaugh originally explained the role of Executive Orders back in January, when Obama first used them to further his dream of Gun Confiscation:

You see, there’s a thing in this country. It’s called the Constitution, and while presidents and members of Congress and mayors and others run for election every year (or every two years, or every four years, depending), the Constitution is constant. There’s not one elected official who has the power to change it. There is a way to amend the Constitution, and the Constitution spells out the procedures that must be taken to change it. Presidents cannot. Now, I know this is gonna shock many of you in the low-information community.

Many of you believe… This is what you’ve been taught. This is what you have been educated with, and many of you have been taught to actually support this kind of presidential power, that a president, if he doesn’t like something, can just “fix” it. But there is no such power granted to the president by the Constitution, and executive orders are not a way for the president to get around the Constitution. Executive orders were not established for that purpose. Executive orders are to take care of emergencies during times when Congress is not in session. 

That’s one of many examples for their usage, but the executive order does not contain the power to violate the Constitution. The executive order does not give the president the authority to say, “I don’t like the Second Amendment, and I’m going to write a law that supersedes it.” No president has ever had that power. No president today has that power. Barack Obama doesn’t have it. If he acts in such a way, he is in violation of the Constitution. The Constitution is what holds this country together. The Constitution is what defines this country. 

There isn’t enough knowledge, nor is there enough respect, for the Constitution in our country today, which is why I’m trying to help a little bit here. Nineteen executive orders to deal with something they are not permitted to deal with, in a way they’re not permitted to do it. But if nobody is willing to stand up and oppose the president and this usurpation of power — which does not exist and which he does not have — then, of course, he will get away with it. But I just want you to know this. I want those of you in the low-information voter community to know that executive orders do not exist so that the president can break the law. They do not exist so the president can change the law. That is not why they exist.

You see, the laws of this country… Again, pardon me for a second as I address the low-information voter community. The laws in this country are written in Congress. That would be the Senate and the House. The president does not write laws. The president does not make law. Well, he’s not supposed to. Judges are not supposed to make laws. Judges are not supposed to create laws. That’s only supposed to happen in Congress. When Congress refuses to vote for a law, then it’s dead. What the administration and Biden are admitting here is that they can’t legally enact the gun laws that they prefer.

So they’re just going to do it unilaterally with the executive order.

Now, I’m not lying to you when I tell you that is not what executive orders permit. It’s not why they were created; it’s not what they’re for. Executive orders do not grant dictatorial power to presidents. They do not grant the power to the president to violate existing law. Executive orders do not grant the power to the president to write new law. The president and his team will be in violation of the Constitution if they do this. Now, there are certain things that can be done with executive orders, but they can’t write new law. But if nobody stops them, what’s the point?

They can get away with it.

There’s always a way to get away with it.

Obama can try to achieve his Marxist dream of taking away guns from law-abiding citizens through the issuing of Executive Orders, but this is not Russia, during the Bolshevik Revolution. This is America, where we have a System of Checks and Balances.

Please urge your Senator and Representative to put all the pressure they can on their Democratic colleagues to stop the president from turning us into an unarmed citizenry, vulnerable to enemies, foreign and domestic….and political, too.

Obama’s actions, as I wrote yesterday, remind me of a spoiled child who, when told “NO!” by his parents, launches into a screeching, whining temper tantrum.

Just like an unruly child, it’s time for Obama to be disciplined…by turning him into a lame duck for the next 3 and 1/2 years.

Obama is not a leader. He is a petulant, pedantic Graduate Assistant, playing at being a tenured professor.

Americans…it’s time to ring the dismissal bell on this class.

Gun Control: 4/17/13…A Presidential Temper Tantrum

Obama-Shrinks-2Yesterday afternoon, as I was driving home from work, I decided to listen to the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama’s, Press Conference, hastily arranged to respond to the defeat of  his Gun Control Initiative  in the United States Senate.

What I heard was , as the title suggests, the First Presidential Temper Tantrum.

As my local ABC Radio affiliate, WKIM, joined the presser, a gentleman who had lost a child to the psychopath responsible for the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre was speaking.

I tuned the gentleman out, because my mind was too occupied with the cognitive realization and resulting revulsion, that Obama was using these grieving Newtown parents as propaganda tools….mere instruments designed to help the Manchurian President achieve his goal of taking firearms from law-abiding Americans.

The grieving parent introduced the president and then, the condescending vitriol that began to spew out of Obama’s mouth, almost caused me to drive off of the road.

I’m going to speak plainly and honestly about what’s happened here because the American people are trying to figure out how can something have 90 percent support and yet not happen. We had a Democrat and a Republican -– both gun owners, both fierce defenders of our Second Amendment, with “A” grades from the NRA — come together and worked together to write a common-sense compromise on background checks. And I want to thank Joe Manchin and Pat Toomey for their courage in doing that. That was not easy given their traditional strong support for Second Amendment rights.

As they said, nobody could honestly claim that the package they put together infringed on our Second Amendment rights. All it did was extend the same background check rules that already apply to guns purchased from a dealer to guns purchased at gun shows or over the Internet. So 60 percent of guns are already purchased through a background check system; this would have covered a lot of the guns that are currently outside that system.

Their legislation showed respect for gun owners, and it showed respect for the victims of gun violence. And Gabby Giffords, by the way, is both — she’s a gun owner and a victim of gun violence. She is a Westerner and a moderate. And she supports these background checks.

In fact, even the NRA used to support expanded background checks. The current leader of the NRA used to support these background checks. So while this compromise didn’t contain everything I wanted or everything that these families wanted, it did represent progress. It represented moderation and common sense. That’s why 90 percent of the American people supported it.

But instead of supporting this compromise, the gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill. They claimed that it would create some sort of “big brother” gun registry, even though the bill did the opposite. This legislation, in fact, outlawed any registry. Plain and simple, right there in the text. But that didn’t matter.

And unfortunately, this pattern of spreading untruths about this legislation served a purpose, because those lies upset an intense minority of gun owners, and that in turn intimidated a lot of senators. And I talked to several of these senators over the past few weeks, and they’re all good people. I know all of them were shocked by tragedies like Newtown. And I also understand that they come from states that are strongly pro-gun. And I have consistently said that there are regional differences when it comes to guns, and that both sides have to listen to each other.

But the fact is most of these senators could not offer any good reason why we wouldn’t want to make it harder for criminals and those with severe mental illnesses to buy a gun. There were no coherent arguments as to why we wouldn’t do this. It came down to politics — the worry that that vocal minority of gun owners would come after them in future elections. They worried that the gun lobby would spend a lot of money and paint them as anti-Second Amendment.

And obviously, a lot of Republicans had that fear, but Democrats had that fear, too. And so they caved to the pressure, and they started looking for an excuse — any excuse — to vote “no.”

One common argument I heard was that this legislation wouldn’t prevent all future massacres. And that’s true. As I said from the start, no single piece of legislation can stop every act of violence and evil. We learned that tragically just two days ago. But if action by Congress could have saved one person, one child, a few hundred, a few thousand — if it could have prevented those people from losing their lives to gun violence in the future while preserving our Second Amendment rights, we had an obligation to try.

And this legislation met that test. And too many senators failed theirs.

I’ve heard some say that blocking this step would be a victory. And my question is, a victory for who? A victory for what? All that happened today was the preservation of the loophole that lets dangerous criminals buy guns without a background check. That didn’t make our kids safer. Victory for not doing something that 90 percent of Americans, 80 percent of Republicans, the vast majority of your constituents wanted to get done? It begs the question, who are we here to represent?

I’ve heard folks say that having the families of victims lobby for this legislation was somehow misplaced. “A prop,” somebody called them. “Emotional blackmail,” some outlet said. Are they serious? Do we really think that thousands of families whose lives have been shattered by gun violence don’t have a right to weigh in on this issue? Do we think their emotions, their loss is not relevant to this debate?

So all in all, this was a pretty shameful day for Washington.

And, now, Mr. President…I’m going to speak plainly and honestly.

I’m glad you failed.

Even your fellow Democrats are admitting that this bill would not have stopped that murderous psychopath from killing those children in Newtown. So, why did you insult the American People, lecturing us like a pedantic professor, instead of approaching us as a United States President, who is supposed to be the leader and servant of all Americans and who works for us?

Is it possible that you believed your own outrageous propaganda concerning Gun Control?

Evidently, you did. Or, you would not have kept repeating your blatantly false assertion that 90% of Americans are in favor of the failed “Background Check” Initiative and how it would keep guns out of the hands of psychopaths and criminals. 

I guess you refuse to believe the CBS News Poll which shows that 90% of Americans believe that Gun Control is not a very important issue at all.

Blows your plans for Gun Confiscation all to Hades, doesn’t it?

Here’s your problem, Mr. President:

We, the average Americans living out here in the Heartland, think you are full of it, and don’t trust you any further than we can throw you.

You pushed Obamacare down our throats, and now, you’ve tried to take away our guns. Bad move, Scooter.

You see, as Americans, we value our freedom, and trust our Founding Fathers and the Constitution which they wrote so masterfully, more than your empty promises, which all have expiration dates.

Our Founders pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to win our freedom. 

It would be disrespectful not to follow their example.

And, that would be shameful.

The New Boston Massacre: A 9/11 Feeling

911firefightersOn Monday afternoon, America was put on her heels by dual explosions at the finish line of the annual sports classic, The Boston Marathon.

As the number of wounded continued to climb yesterday, Americans found out , through a morning presser from President Barack Hussein Obama, that, our Federal Government, (you know…the ones who want us to give up our guns so that they can protect us) has no clue as to the perpetrator or perpetrators of  Monday afternoon’s terrorist attack.

Authorities have figured out, though, that the 2 bombs which exploded were built into pressure cookers and delivered to the scene in black backpacks.

Pressure cooker bombs are more often used in Afghanistan, Pakistan India, and Nepal – where the pots are more commonly used for cooking. But they have also been prominent in bombings and attempts in the United States, especially in New York in Times Square in 2010 and Grand Central Terminal in 1976.

In Al Qaeda’s online magazine, there’s even an article titled: “Make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom” by “The AQ Chef.” It mentions, even recommends, pressure cookers, noting that weak explosives only work with the high pressure of a cooker or sealed pipe.

Low power explosives like black powder and smokeless powder – the most likely ones used in Boston – blow up at a slower rate and only deliver the big boom if they are confined and the pressure from the gas and explosion builds up, said Denny Kline, a former FBI explosives expert and instructor in forensics at its academy.

The Administration has made a public appeal for anybody who has any pertinent information to come forward.

Frankly, it seems that they are very disorganized.

I’m glad that this Administration was not in place on September 11, 2001.  When the worst Terrorist Attack ever on American Soil occurred, that president was not sure who the perpetrators were, either. But, that night, he spoke to us, with resolve in his voice and a look in his eye, that I did not see Monday afternoon, in the short announcement given by the current occupier of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Here is what President George W. Bush said on the fateful night of September 11, 2001.

Good evening.

Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts.

The victims were in airplanes or in their offices — secretaries, businessmen and women, military and federal workers. Moms and dads. Friends and neighbors.

Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror.

The pictures of airplanes flying into buildings, fires burning, huge structures collapsing, have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness and a quiet, unyielding anger.

These acts of mass murder were intended to frighten our nation into chaos and retreat. But they have failed. Our country is strong. A great people has been moved to defend a great nation.

Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.

America was targeted for attack because we’re the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world. And no one will keep that light from shining.

Today, our nation saw evil, the very worst of human nature, and we responded with the best of America, with the daring of our rescue workers, with the caring for strangers and neighbors who came to give blood and help in any way they could.

Immediately following the first attack, I implemented our government’s emergency response plans. Our military is powerful, and it’s prepared. Our emergency teams are working in New York City and Washington, D.C., to help with local rescue efforts.

Our first priority is to get help to those who have been injured and to take every precaution to protect our citizens at home and around the world from further attacks.

The functions of our government continue without interruption. Federal agencies in Washington which had to be evacuated today are reopening for essential personnel tonight and will be open for business tomorrow.

Our financial institutions remain strong, and the American economy will be open for business as well.

The search is underway for those who are behind these evil acts. I’ve directed the full resources for our intelligence and law enforcement communities to find those responsible and bring them to justice. We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them.

I appreciate so very much the members of Congress who have joined me in strongly condemning these attacks. And on behalf of the American people, I thank the many world leaders who have called to offer their condolences and assistance.

America and our friends and allies join with all those who want peace and security in the world and we stand together to win the war against terrorism.

Tonight I ask for your prayers for all those who grieve, for the children whose worlds have been shattered, for all whose sense of safety and security has been threatened. And I pray they will be comforted by a power greater than any of us spoken through the ages in Psalm 23: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me.”

This is a day when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and peace. America has stood down enemies before, and we will do so this time.

None of us will ever forget this day, yet we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world.

In terms of the faith that average Americans, like you and me, have in this preset Administration…well…let’s just say that our belief in Obama and his minions would not fill any collection plates.

With the stench of Benghazigate still wafting in the wind, the smell of blood and the sight of amputated limbs and dead children will not be erased from Americans’ minds, as easily as the murder of 4 Americans, including an Ambassador at a foreign embassy.

While Americans still trust our brave men and women of our Armed Forces to protect us, the same cannot be said for their Commander-in-Chief.

For, its hard to believe a president who is fighting, domestically, to take away your freedom, when he looks into the camera, and tells you that he will fight for it.

While, overseas, his “Smart Power!” Foreign Policy embraces our enemies and alienates our friends.

Therefore, making his promise absolutely reek of hypocrisy.

And, unfortunately, our enemies know it.

Gun Control: Heading Toward a National Gun Registry

guncontrolThe nation is buzzing with anticipatory dread, as the Senate gets ready to vote on new Gun Control Laws, which would require mandatory registration of law-abiding citizen’s firearms.

Yesterday, Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) took to the Senate Floor to issue a dire warning:

Some of the proposals, like for example- universal background checks- would allow the federal government to surveil law-abiding citizens who exercise their Constitutional rights. One of the provisions we expect to see in the bill based on what we saw in the Judiciary Committee- on which I sit- would allow the Attorney General of the United States (Eric Holder) to promulgate regulations that could lead to a national registry system for guns. Something my constituents in Utah are very concerned about, and understandably so.

…You see, the federal government has no business monitoring when or how often you go to church; what books and newspapers you read; who you vote for; your health conditions; what you eat for breakfast; and the details of your private life– including your lawful exercise of your rights protected by the Second Amendment and other provisions of the Bill of Rights.

Despite what the politicians are saying, these “harmless” Gun Control Laws could, in fact, lead to a National Gun Registry, which in turn, will eventually lead to Gun Confiscation.

And, Americans are getting ready for that eventuality.

Did you know that…

During Barack Obama’s presidency there have been 32 background checks for gun purchases every minute.

Since February of 2009, the first full month of Obama’s presidency, there have been 70,291,049 background checks for gun purchases, according to data released by the FBI.

Using February 1, 2009 as our starting date, and March 31, 2013 as our end date, (the latest data from the FBI) Obama has been president for 1,520 days.

That equates to 36,480 hours, or 2,188,800 minutes.

Divide the 70,291,049 background checks by 2,188,800 minutes and you get approximately 32 checks for gun purchases every minute!

American Liberals are fond of citing the UK’s Gun Control Laws as a model for America to follow after.

Here is a brief history:

In 1946 “self defense” was no longer considered a good reason for requiring a police issued firearms certificate. The slippery slope got even steeper.

In 1953 carrying any type of weapon for self defense was made illegal, making the streets even safer for the criminal element and giving great “crime control” soundbites to the police and press.

In 1967 a chap by the name of Harry Roberts blasted three policemen to death in a London street using a 9mm Luger pistol and the British government restricted shotguns for the very first time. Try to figure out the logic… handgun used… shotguns licensed for the first time in British history. Opportunistic, or am I just being a cynical bastard?

In 1982 black powder muzzle loader shooters and handloaders were required to allow police inspection of their security arrangements to ensure “safe storage” of the powder they possessed, meaning that agents of the state could demand entry into an Englishman’s home at any time of day or night without a warrant.

In 1988 all semi-automatic rifles were banned, including pump action rifles. The personal property of law abiding people was once again outlawed and seized. All the guns were registered and easy to find, that is to say, all the legally held ones.

In 1996 all handguns were banned and they too were all registered with the agents of the state. Well, need I say more? You get the picture. Also in 1996 carrying any knife with a blade longer than 3 inches was made illegal. Presumably one cannot stab someone to death with a three inch knife. You now had to show “good reason” for carrying a knife, the presumption of innocence, until proven guilty of a crime, was gone.

In England today you cannot carry any type of weapon for self defense and you cannot use a firearm to defend your home, family, or property. The gun and weapon laws have made crime safe for criminals and the other violent thugs and miscreants who infest our country today.

In 2006 the government passed the Violent Crime Reduction Act. The VCRA restricted all “realistic” toy/replica guns. Now Britons were not to be trusted with even imitation non-firing replicas. “Violent crime reduction” was once again used as the smokescreen to enact oppressive laws and deprive the law abiding of their property. As part of the VCRA an airgun can no longer be purchased by mail order and the name and address of the purchaser must be registered with the seller.

The following report was published by Townhall in December of 2012:

New data out from the UK, where guns are banned, shows gun crime has soared by 35 percent.

The Government’s latest crime figures were condemned as “truly terrible” by the Tories today as it emerged that gun crime in England and Wales soared by 35% last year.

Criminals used handguns in 46% more offenses, Home Office statistics revealed.

Firearms were used in 9,974 recorded crimes in the 12 months to last April, up from 7,362.

It was the fourth consecutive year to see a rise and there were more than 2,200 more gun crimes last year than the previous peak in 1993.

Figures showed the number of crimes involving handguns had more than doubled since the post-Dunblane massacre ban on the weapons, from 2,636 in 1997-1998 to 5,871.

Unadjusted figures showed overall recorded crime in the 12 months to last September rose 9.3%, but the Home Office stressed that new procedures had skewed the figures.

Okay. So, Gun Control has not stopped the criminals from getting Guns in the UK. What makes Obama and his minions think that more regulations are going to accomplish what the UK has not?

Are they that full of themselves that they think that, since they are the “smartest people in the room”, that failed methods will actually work this time?

Are they just doing something to be doing something, in order to save face with their Far Left supporters?

Or, is it something more malevolent than just everyday politics?

Here’s a quote from an organization that backs Obama all the way with his Gun Confiscation efforts…

…the right-wing extremists opposing all efforts to curb gun violence are the same forces that rallied behind Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, hoping to undermine every other democratic right as well as the living standards of workers and ordinary Americans. It is for that reason, as well as the need to protect public safety, that the same coalition of labor and its allies that worked so hard and effectively to re-elect President Barack Obama must now go all-out to back his common sense proposals for gun law reform.

As Obama has charged, the extremists recklessly “gin up fear” that the government is coming to take away hunting rifles and personal weapons owned for legitimate self-defense. Led by the hate-mongering leadership of the National Rifle Association, they use a totally fraudulent and only very recent interpretation of the Second Amendment which they falsely claim as necessary for protecting every other freedom contained in the Bill of Rights.

One of their unhinged spokesmen, Texas talk show host Alex Jones, launched a national petition drive to deport CNN commentator Piers Morgan for questioning the Second Amendment. Jones said the amendment “isn’t there for duck hunting. It’s there to protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs,” and then went on to threaten insurrection “if you try to take our firearms.”

Actually, the Second Amendment wasn’t enacted with any of these things in mind. The amendment was adopted as a means to enable the new American republic, lacking a standing army or state national guards, to muster militia to put down domestic uprisings, including slave revolts, to repulse any attempted return by the British and to deal with clashes with Native Americans on the expanding frontier.

These issues vanished long ago. The Second Amendment is obsolete and now has been twisted to threaten the basic safety and security of all Americans. There is no basis for claiming this amendment was intended to permit unregulated personal acquisition of firearms, including amassing military weapons and private arsenals for “protection” from the government. No government, especially one that is new and fragile, has ever authorized citizens to arm themselves against it.

As I have chronicled, in the last several months, this Gun Confiscation Movement comes right out of the playbook of Marx and Lenin.

There is one thing that Obama did not take into account, however…

“Smart Power” + North Korea = Kaboom!?

Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?

After 5 years of “Smart Power”, is America better off in the field of Foreign Policy?

No.

Let’s examine the wherefores and the whys, shall we?

I first knew that “Smart Power” was going to be neither smart, nor powerful, shortly after Obama was inaugurated.

On June 4, 2009, Obama spoke to the Muslim World at the University of Cairo, where he said,

I’ve come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles — principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.

I do so recognizing that change cannot happen overnight. I know there’s been a lot of publicity about this speech, but no single speech can eradicate years of mistrust, nor can I answer in the time that I have this afternoon all the complex questions that brought us to this point. But I am convinced that in order to move forward, we must say openly to each other the things we hold in our hearts and that too often are said only behind closed doors. There must be a sustained effort to listen to each other; to learn from each other; to respect one another; and to seek common ground. As the Holy Koran tells us, “Be conscious of God and speak always the truth.” (Applause.) That is what I will try to do today — to speak the truth as best I can, humbled by the task before us, and firm in my belief that the interests we share as human beings are far more powerful than the forces that drive us apart.

Now part of this conviction is rooted in my own experience. I’m a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims. As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and at the fall of dusk. As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith.

That speech, and the resulting perception that Obama was an appeaser, set the stage for “Arab Spring”.

“Arab Spring” busted out all over the Middle East in late 2010. Arab nations throughout North Africa and the Middle East saw Muslim Fundamentalist-led “grass-roots movements” “spring” up in an effort to replace their Moderate Muslim dictatorial governments with Muslim Fundamentalist-led groups, promising to install democratic systems within their countries. Some of these movements have been more successful than others, and overs are still blossoming, but, there is no doubt that the so-called “Arab Spring” has fundamentally transformed the Middle East.

Several factors led up to the Arab Spring. These factors include economic conditions, demographic trends, and the more obvious social and political influences.

These factors brought a newfound opportunity for the Muslim Brotherhood, giving them political leverage which they never had before.

The “Arab Spring” movement was sparked by a young Tunisian street vendor named Muhammad Bouazizi on 17 December 2010. Bouazizi, out of desperation over his harassment by local police, set himself on fire in front of the municipal building of Sidi Bouzid, the town where he lived.

From there, the revolution traveled to Egypt. And, the rest, as they say, is history…

Had the Arab Spring moved in the right direction, Obama would have been hailed as a strategic genius for his smart, low-cost management from the sidelines. The brutal reality, is, that it has moved toward instability, violence, dashed hopes, and the strengthening of the Muslim Brotherhood. As a result, people saw Barack Hussein Obama react as a president who became strangely disconnected and who at best just seemed to have other things to do. At worst, he seemed to have simply stopped caring about the volatile situation in the Middle East, almost as if the takeover of the Muslim Brotherhood was what he wanted to happen in the first place.

So, now that Obama has succeeded in getting our Middle Eastern Ally, Israel, surrounded by Muslim Extremists, what will he do for an encore?

Well, it appears that he is going to reunite North and south Korea…under the flag of Communism.

Kim Jong-il’s successor in December 2011, his third son Kim Jong-un,has turned to out to be just as big an unstable goofball, as his old man was.

He agreed to suspend long-range missile tests in order to receive US food aid in February 2012, only to turn right around and challenge the US by announcing that they were going to fire a “rocket-launched satellite” for April, to celebrate Kim Il-Sung’s birthday.

The launch failed, but in October 2012, the “Norks” responded to the unveiling of a new missile deal between Seoul and Washington by claiming to have missiles capable of hitting our shores. A December satellite launch served as a forewarning that North Korea is developing such rocket technology, and brought immediate condemnation from the UN, US, Japan and China.

In January 2013, right after the UN Security Council condemned the launch, North Korea announced that it planned to conduct a third “high-level nuclear test” and rehearse more long-range rocket launches aimed at the US “arch-enemy”. It proceeded to perform a third nuclear test in February 2013, followed swiftly by another set of UN Security Council sanctions on cash transfers and travel for its diplomats.

Undeterred, North Korea threatened South Korea and the USA with war and announced that it would restart all facilities at its main Yongbyon nuclear complex, including a reactor mothballed in 2007.

According to an Obama Administration official, the Norks may test fire mobile ballistic missiles at any time, based on the most recent intelligence showing Pyongyang probably has completed launch preparations.

According to a CNN Poll, 4 in 10 Americans view North Korea as an imminent threat to the United States.

However, just as he proved during “Arab Spring”, Obama does not “walk softly and carry a big stick”.

This wuss of a president speaks loudly and carries autograph DVDs of his speeches as peace offerings.

Obama Lays an Egg

obamabasketballYesterday, the White House held its annual Easter Egg Roll.

Among the “attractions” at this year’s photo op were the Easter Bunny, the First Dog Bo, (Which is what the other set of grandparents call my 5 year old grandson, Robert. Hey, it’s a Mississippi thang.) there were also characters by the name of Colby Carrot and Erica Eggplant.

What do vegetables have to do Easter? Were they there for the Easter Bunny’s lunch?

No. Actually they were there for Mooch’s (First Lady Michelle Obama) benefit. This woman (who takes 2 trips to haul you-know-what) urged the kiddies to have fun and “run around,” and “to learn something about nutrition and exercise”.

In fact, the theme of this year’s Egg Roll had nothing to do at all with Easter. It was

Be Healthy, Be Active, Be You!

Mooch told the children,

We want you guys to have a good time and keep moving and be healthy. And, kids, eat your vegetables, okay?

Over 30,000 attended the choreographed event. Among those attending, were relatives of some of the children who were murdered by a psychopath during the Dec. 14 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. The White House did not provide names, citing privacy concerns.

Obama continues to use the Newtown Tragedy as a Political Opportunity to take away the guns from average-American citizens. Of course, no mention has been made by Obama and his minions concerning the hundred of youths who rioted in the streets of Chicago on Saturday.

“This was a planned attack,” community activist Andrew Holmes told ABC Chicago. “You had these many people down here and that many people just running from one side of the street, jumping on people on the east side, then they come back on the west side and jump on the people.”

More than two dozen teens were arrested during the chaotic melee.

“You have over 300 to 400 teenagers with mob action, jumping on individuals that are downtown,” community activist Andrew Holmes told NBC Chicago.

Police booked 25 juveniles and three adults on misdemeanor reckless conduct and battery charges for purposefully knocking into and jumping on pedestrians during the “mob action.”

At around 6 p.m., hundreds of misbehaved teenagers swarmed in on the Windy City’s Magnificent Mile shopping district that runs along Michigan Avenue, near Chicago Avenue.

“You have over 300 to 400 teenagers with mob action, jumping on individuals that are downtown,” Holmes, who was in the area shopping with family, told NBC Chicago. He said he also witnessed a mounted police officer being assaulted by the teens.

Obama would tell you,

It’s not the yutes’ fault. It’s those darn guns, I tell you.

That is, if he had the guts to bring it up in the first place. But, I digress…

A featured attraction at the Easter Egg Roll, was supposed to be the thrill of watching The Lightbringer display his basketball prowess, by shooting hoops at a basketball goal which his minions had set up on the White House Lawn.

Unfortunately, for the Manchurian President…hilarity ensued.

POTUS stepped to free throw line and kids were asked to stand on opposite sides, depending on whether they think he would sink it. Most kids moved in one direction, but one boy went to the “miss” side.”Oh, man,” a stunned POTUS said, hands on hips. The boy didn’t budge. And three others joined.In sharp form, POTUS released the ball. It bounced off the rim and circled it — miss.”Come on. Come on. Did you see that?” Obama said.It got worse.A little while later, after playing tennis, Obama started to take shots amid the kids and pros. Miss. Miss. Off the rim. Miss. Miss. Off the rim. Airball. He moved closer to the net.But time and again, he missed. Of 22 shots POTUS took, he made two. (22 was general consensus of poolers)At one point, POTUS handed a ball to a boy and asked for help. The boy made the layup.”He couldn’t make one. I had to help him out,” said Kahron Campbell, 10, of Landover, MD.

Being a product of a Memphis upbringing, basketball runs through my veins. It all started in elementary, when I played on a team, then in ninth grade, when the legendary University of Memphis player, Larry Finch, became my student coach the year they lost the National Championship to Bill Walton and UCLA (’72-’73). I later went on to coach my own forth grade squad, while in college at the U of M, and , later, at 36, I coached and played for my church team. My record as a coach is 25-4, with 2 league championships.

Basketball is a metaphor for any tasks you might attempt in life. 

One of the things you learn in basketball, is that…

If the plays aren’t working, you must re-adjust the game plan. 

Every great basketball player knows that when your plays aren’t working you have to adjust, and then adjust some more. The varying strengths and styles of different opponents require different tactics. You have to be able to withstand and adjust to whichever attacks an opponent uses on you.

Just like the game of basketball, life presents us with many challenges for which we must adjust our game plan.

And, just as Obama failed miserably, in his attempt to show off his skills as a basketball player, so has he failed miserably during his tenure as the President of the United States.

He has gained a reputation as being the most -out-of-touch, narcissistic, socialist, prevaricating, petulant President this nation has yet to endure.

Perhaps it is time to Obama to change his game plan.

“Endowed By Their Creator”

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

When does our Right to Life begin? When we are conceived? When we are delivered?

If you haven’t heard this story, yet…y’all ain’t gonna believe this!

Down in Florida, state legislators were holding committee hearings in consideration of a bill which would require abortionists to provide medical care to an infant who survives an abortion.

Well, their jaws hit the floor when a Planned Parenthood official endorsed the right to post-birth abortion.

A lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, Alisa LaPolt Snow, testified that the ghouls she works for believe the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

Rep. Daniel Davis then asked Snow, “What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”

“I do not have that information,” Snow replied. “I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”

Rep. Jose Oliva followed up, asking the Planned Parenthood official, “You stated that a baby born alive on a table as a result of a botched abortion that that decision should be left to the doctor and the family. Is that what you’re saying?”

Again, Snow replied, “That decision should be between the patient and the health care provider.”

“I think that at that point the patient would be the child struggling on the table, wouldn’t you agree?” asked Oliva.

“That’s a very good question. I really don’t know how to answer that,” Snow said. “I would be glad to have some more conversations with you about this.”

Poor little heartless Lib. All she was doing was following the beliefs of the President of the United States…

Senator Barack Obama and his campaign staff have made many conflicting claims in an attempt to “explain” his opposition in 2001, 2002, and 2003, while an Illinois state senator, to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, legislation to provide legal protection for babies who are born alive during abortions. The language of the Illinois bills was very similar to the language of the federal Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA), which was first introduced in Congress in 2000 and enacted into law in 2002. This document provides short rebuttals to a number of the often-shifting Obama claims. Assertion: On many occasions beginning in 2004, and as recently as August 13, 2008, Obama and his official spokespersons said that Obama opposed the Illinois Born-Alive Infants Protection Act because it lacked a one-sentence “neutrality clause” that was added to the federal BAIPA before it was enacted, and that he would have voted for the federal bill (if he had been a U.S. senator when it passed) because it contained the “neutrality clause.” This “neutrality clause” read as follows: “Nothing in this section [that is, the entire bill] shall be construed to affirm, deny, expand, or contract any legal status or legal right applicable to any member of the species homo sapiens at any point prior to being ‘born alive’ as defined in this section.” Obama said that such a clause prevented the federal law from conflicting with Roe v. Wade (a revealing argument, which is explored in detail below). For example, on August 13, 2008, the Chicago Tribune received a “Fact Check” from the Obama campaign that asserted “there are major differences in state and federal bills, including the fact that the federal bill included a ‘neutrality clause’.”

Response: In the first place, the original federal BAIPA introduced in 2000 was only two sentences long — it merely defined as a legal person any human, “at any stage of development,” who achieves “the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother” and then shows signs of life (heartbeat, breathing, or “definite movement of voluntary muscles”). This bill, which received initial approval from the U.S. House of Representatives 380-15 in late 2000, said nothing in either direction about the legal status of a human prior to birth. Therefore the “neutrality clause,” added in 2001, simply made explicit what had originally been clear if implicit– that this bill dealt only with the rights of babies who had already been born alive. Yet, starting during his 2004 race for the U.S. Senate, Obama himself insisted that the purported lack of a “neutrality clause” in the state BAIPA was all-important.

That is why it was of considerable significance when the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) uncovered, and publicly released on August 11, 2008, three documents that proved that on March 13, 2003, Obama, as chairman of the Illinois Senate Health and Human Services Committee, actually presided over a committee meeting at which the original state Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (SB 1082) was revised to make it virtually identical to the federal law — including the addition of exactly the same “neutrality clause.” (To see the exact language of the original bill, next to the final language of the bill that Obama killed, refer to the last page of this document.) Yet, immediately after that change was made, Obama voted against the amended bill, and it was defeated on a party-line vote, 6-4. In other words, Obama led the way in killing a bill that was virtually identical to the federal law — the federal law that, since 2004, he has insisted he would have voted for if he’d had the chance.

Despite the proof released by NRLC, the Obama campaign continued to misrepresent these events. For example, on August 13, 2008, the Obama campaign submitted to the Chicago Tribune (among others) a chart that purported to contrast the “2003 Legislation That Obama Opposed” with the “Federal Legislation That Obama Would Have Supported” — and this chart falsely claimed that the “neutrality clause” was a “failed amendment, not included in final [state] legislation.” On August 16, 2008, when David Brody of CBN News asked Obama (on camera) about the NRLC charges, Obama said that we were “lying.” He repeated his claim that he would have been “fully in support of the federal bill that everybody supported — which was to say — that you should provide assistance to any infant that was born — even if it was as a consequence of an induced abortion. That was not the bill that was presented at the state level.”

On August 25, 2008, the independent group FactCheck.org (www.factcheck.org) issued a review of this question that concluded, “Obama’s claim is wrong. In fact, by the time the HHS Committee voted on the bill, it did contain language identical to the federal act. . . . The documents from the NRLC support the group’s claims that Obama is misrepresenting the contents of SB 1082.”

It is any wonder that the previously mentioned  horrible woman so freely admitted that murdering babies was alright?

I believe that our nation and our leaders should realize that you cannot mock God. With actions come consequences. You know, that “cause and effect” thingy that “the Smart people” are so found of bringing up.

Each and every life is precious to The Creator. That baby growing in her womb, is not the property of the mother. Each and every one of us belong to the One who made us. He is our Sovereign Lord.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you…

All those who believe that “it is a woman’s right to choose”…think too highly of themselves.
