The Summit…Why Liberals Don’t Want Trump to Succeed

1232492255-Trump-Skipping-Prep-For-North-Korean-Summit_hires.jpg

On June 25, 1950, the Korean War began when some 75,000 soldiers from the North Korean People’s Army poured across the 38th parallel, the boundary between the Soviet-backed Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the north and the pro-Western Republic of Korea to the south. This invasion was the first military action of the Cold War. By July, American troops had entered the war on South Korea’s behalf. As far as American officials were concerned, it was a war against the forces of international communism itself. After some early back-and-forth across the 38th parallel, the fighting stalled and casualties mounted with nothing to show for them. Meanwhile, American officials worked anxiously to fashion some sort of armistice with the North Koreans. The alternative, they feared, would be a wider war with Russia and China–or even, as some warned, World War III. Finally, in July 1953, the Korean War came to an end. In all, some 5 million soldiers and civilians lost their lives during the war. The Korean peninsula is still divided today. (courtesy of history.com)

Now, 65 years later, after failure upon failure to negotiate some sort of resolution to a bloody conflict which was suspended via a truce and never actually ended, a Citizen Statesman stands poised to possibly accomplish something no Professional Politician elected American President has been able to.

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump shook hands with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore shortly after 9 a.m. local time Tuesday, kicking off a historic summit meeting and marking a new era in relations between the U.S. and the totalitarian state known as the Hermit Kingdom.

Moments later, as Trump and Kim sat side-by-side, the American president told a group of reporters: “We will have a terrific relationship, I have no doubt.” Kim said through an interpreter that it “was not easy to get here” and that there “were obstacles, but we overcame them to be here.”

About 40 minutes later, the two leaders emerged from one-on-one talks accompanied by their interpreters and made a brief appearance on a balcony. When asked how talks were progressing, Trump said: “Very good. Very, very good. Excellent relationship, thank you.”

Moments later, Trump and Kim were joined by their aides for expanded discussions and a working lunch. On the U.S. side, Trump was accompanied by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and National Security Adviser John Bolton.

Meanwhile back home in the good ol’ U.S.A., ideally one might expect for the entire nation to be rooting our President on in his efforts to disarm the “Little Rocket Man”, Kim Jong Un.

There’s just one problem: Modern American Liberals, led by those in Hollywood, and “Never Trumpers”, like Republican Senator John McCain, want President Trump to fail.

A prime example of this self-destructive behavior is movie “tough guy” Robert De Niro using the venue of the Tony Awards , which was televised live on Sunday Night, to shout “F*** Trump”!

Why don’t these idiots want America to succeed?

On his nationally syndicated radio talk show yesterday, Rush Limbaugh once again his the nail on the head when he observed that

….They look at Donald Trump and here are massive achievements left and right, serious policy improvements and implementations, foreign policy, domestic policy, economic policy were off and running, and everybody seems to condemn that ’cause of the way Trump talks. It reminds me of an observation I came up with early in this history of the program where liberals and Washington are devoted to symbolism over substance. Now it’s now become style over substance. But it’s still true. And I think, when you boil it down, the people in Washington, what they’re having trouble with here is the genuine substance of things because I think they are very rarely devoted to substance or involved. Everything’s symbolism; everything is perception; everything is PR; everything’s spin; very little is real.

And now a whole bunch of reality is hitting people upside the head day in and day out, and they simply don’t know how to deal with it, from Republican Never Trumpers to the Democrat Party, the American left, the media, and on and on and on.

Liberals’ Never-ending National Temper Tantrum which they have been throwing non-stop since the night of November 8, 2016 has caused their collective Hive-Mind to experience a break with reality.

Their desire to somehow get Trump out of office has caused them all to revert back to their early childhood when the only word in their limited vocabulary that mattered to them was

Mine! Mine! Mine!

Modern American Liberals from Hollywood to Washington, DC could care less about you and me and our children and our grandchildren.

They don’t care if the North Korean Summit fails. They will blame Trump.

They don’t care that Chicago is nothing but a killing field every weekend. They blame Trump.

They don’t care that average Americans are seeing extra money on our paychecks. It’s only “crumbs” because it is due to Trump’s Tax Cut.

Are you beginning to see the picture, gentle readers?

Modern American Liberals, such as Robert De Niro and Nancy Pelosi are SELFISH.

They could care less what happens to average Americans and our Sovereign Nation as long as they get theirs.

And, that’s fine.

As others have pointed out, all they are doing is ensuring President Trump’s Reelection.

Until He Comes,

Pelosi Defends Conyers. Still Calls for Moore to Exit Race. Irony is Embarrassed.

Nancy-Pelosi-with-John-Conyers-940x460

Man is the Only Animal that Blushes. Or needs to. Mark Twain, “Following the Equator”, 1897

NBCNews.com reports that

Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., stepped down as the ranking Democratic member of the House Judiciary Committee on Sunday, following sexual harassment accusations. The 27-term congressman said he denied the allegations, but was stepping down because of the ongoing House Ethics Committee investigation.

“I deny these allegations, many of which were raised by documents reportedly paid for by a partisan alt-right blogger. I very much look forward to vindicating myself and my family before the House Committee on Ethics,” Conyers said in a statement.

“To be clear, I would like very much to remain as Ranking Member,” he added. “There is still much work to be done on core concerns like securing civil rights, enacting meaningful criminal justice reform, and protecting access to the ballot box.”

Appearing on “Meet The Press” earlier in the day, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi urged “due process” before making conclusions about Rep. Conyers, saying the congressman is “an icon” who has worked to protect women.

“We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused — and was it one accusation? Is it two?” Pelosi asked.

“John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women – Violence Against Women Act, which the left — right-wing — is now quoting me as praising him for his work on that, and he did great work on that,” she added. “But the fact is, as John reviews his case, which he knows, which I don’t, I believe he will do the right thing.”

Conyers’ office recently confirmed issuing a settlement of $27,000 to a former staffer who says she was fired for resisting the congressman’s sexual advances. Conyers has acknowledged the payout, which he said amounted to a severance package, but he denied the allegations about what it was for.

The payout from Conyers’ office first became public in a report published by Buzzfeed on Monday, and came after a number of men in powerful positions in politics, entertainment and media have faced public accusations of sexual harassment. The accusations have opened up a national conversation about how women are treated in the workplace by men in positions of power.

When asked specifically whether she believes the accusations against Conyers, Pelosi said: “I do not know who they are. Do you? They have not really come forward.”

She repeatedly said that she wants to see the House Ethics Committee investigation of Conyers play out.

Conyers has held the powerful position on Capitol Hill as the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee for a decade, but after Pelosi’s interview on Sunday, he announced that he would step down from the position while the Ethics Committee investigates.

Pelosi said in a statement later Sunday, “Zero tolerance means consequences. I have asked for an ethics investigation, and as that investigation continues, Congressman Conyers has agreed to step aside as Ranking Member.”

On “Meet The Press,” Pelosi was also asked whether she would accept an apology from Democratic Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota, who has apologized after being accused of unwanted touching from multiple women, if no other accusers surfaced. “His accusers have to accept an apology,” Pelosi said. “The victims have some say in all of this, as well. And that has happened in the past. People have accepted an apology, as is coming forth now that I see in the press.”

The reporting process on Capitol Hill for sexual harassment claims is a very long and arduous process that can take months to play out, but Pelosi said the House is expected to soon take up new action aimed at preventing such conduct when they vote this week on a resolution that would require all lawmakers and their staff members to go through anti-harassment training. The Senate passed a similar measure earlier this month.

Pelosi’s comments Sunday also came while Democrats and many Republican leaders have called for Alabama’s GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore to exit the race, since Moore is facing sexual misconduct accusations from nine women, including one who says he molested her when she was 14 and he was 32. Moore has denied all of the allegations.

Ohio Sen. Rob Portman is one of the Republican lawmakers who has called for Moore to step aside, and on Sunday said that if he were a voter in Alabama, he’d “probably vote for a Republican, but it wouldn‘t be Roy Moore.”

“As the women went on the record, I thought there was a lot of credibility in what they were saying,” Portman said on “Meet The Press.” “I didn’t find the response very credible and that’s how I came up with my position.”

As the national conversation on sexual harassment has accelerated, the reaction to numerous allegations from the 1990s has also been revisited.

Anita Hill accused U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment when she worked for him at the Department of Education and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and later testified about it during his 1991 Senate confirmation hearing. Thomas denied the allegations.

Now a professor at Brandeis University, Hill said on “Meet The Press” that “unfortunately, 26 years ago, Washington wasn’t ready to lead on this issue, and I’m afraid even today Washington cannot lead the country on this issue. There seems to be so many conflicted feelings and understandings about what needs to happen when sexual misconduct occurs.”

Pelosi, meanwhile, also said the reaction to sexual misconduct accusations against former President Bill Clinton from that era versus today represent “obviously a generational change.”

“The concern that we had then was that they were impeaching the president of the United States, and for something that had nothing to do with the performance of his duties, and trying to take him out for that reason,” Pelosi added. “But let’s go forward. Let’s go forward. I think that something wonderful is happening now, very credible. It’s 100 years, almost 100 years, since women got the right to vote. Here we are, almost 100 years later, and something very transformative is happening.”

One lies and the other swears to it.

If anyone still has any questions as to how Billionaire Entrepreneur Donald J. Trump got elected President of the United States, here’s the answer.

The duplicitous dealings, perversions, peccadilloes, self-entitlement, and downright lying of the Political Elite…on BOTH sides of the Congressional Aisle.

In the case of the recent explosive revealing of sexual harassment and abuse by Congressmen, they have all turned out to be Democrats.

The same Democrats who have been looking down their noses at us average Americans for decades, calling us “Bitter Clingers” in front of their Big Money Donors, while chases their Congressional Pages, Interns, and Office Staff around in their BVDs,

“Icon”, my hindquarters.

The word “delusional” does not even begin to cover San Fran Nan’s illogical statement.

Nancy Pelosi’s station in life defies logic.

That has to be the most tone-deaf statement made about a Philandering Congressman since Wilber Mills (D-AR), was caught fooling around with Fanne Fox, a local DC Stripper, who, when caught drunken driving with Mills, attempted to jump attempted to jump in the Tidal Basin to elude police.

For her to completely ignore the current Democratic Congressional Sexual Abuse Scandal, as pertains Conyers detailed decades of systematic abuse, does not just “strain” credulity…it stomps that sucker flat.

There are two possibilities for Pelosi’s misjudgment of the American People:

She has been so sheltered from us “rabble” during all of those years up on Capitol Hill, that she simply is clueless to the daily lives of average Americans and how we feel on the issues of the day. Or…

She is a victim of galloping dementia.

It is probably both.

For years, the hypocrisy of sanctimonious Liberals, who considered themselves to be the “Smartest People in the Room” made them the Darlings of the Hoi Polloi, the “Captains of the Country Club Crowd” and go-to sources for the Main Stream Media, who hung of their every didactic word as they told average Americans how they should live, how they should raise their children, and how they should allow them to complete run their lives from cradle to grave.

And now, it turns out that all those years that they considered themselves to be of “Royal Blood”, their personal lives had all of the class and morality of the old Redd Foxx “Party” Albums that teenagers used to “borrow” from their parents to listen to and giggle.

It is imperative that average Americans finish what they started on November 8m 2016 in the Presidential Election when the Midterm Elections arrive in 2018.

We must DRAIN THE DC SWAMP.

The stench of Swamp Gas being produced by the Congresscritters who have over-stayed their welcome is overwhelming,

Pelosi Pushes to Pass Law to Limit the President’s Power to Launch Nukes First

nanpelosi

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with the fire and fury like the world has never seen. He (Kim Jong Un) has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said, they will be met with the fire and fury and, frankly, power the likes of which this world has never seen before.” – President Donald J. Trump

CNSNews.com reports that

Any legislation regarding the first-use of nuclear weapons by the United States must be bipartisan and apply to all current and future U.S. presidents, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told a news conference on Thursday.

“I put this in the category of urgent. We take an oath to protect and defend,” she said.

Pelosi said an “ancient” law, dating back to 1946, currently authorizes the president of the United States to exercise the first use of nuclear weapons. “It was in a different world, and now I think it is necessary for us to address it,” she said of the 1946 law.

“There are all kinds of proposals out there, one saying — declaring the United States of America will not engage in first use of a nuclear weapon. I like that one best.”

Pelosi said other proposals would require the president to get the advice of “some people in his cabinet,” to be determined, before launching a nuclear first strike.

“So, more to come on that. I believe that as we go forward with anything like that, it has to be in a bipartisan way, because it’s about all presidents, no matter who (he) or she may be down the road.”

A reporter asked Pelosi if Congress’s sudden attention to no-first-use has something to do with concerns that President Trump will launch a nuclear weapon at North Korea and lead the U.S. into World War III, as Sen. Bob Corker suggested recently.

“Well, this doesn’t’ really have to do with him, it has to do with the presidency of any president,” Pelosi said. “Now, I remind, if our country is attacked, the War Powers Act triggers for the executive any and all powers. But there is interest in the U.S. establishing itself as no first use.

President Trump often has scorned the notion of presidents letting the enemy know ahead of time what the United States may or may not do.

Of course he doesn’t want our enemies to know what we may or may not do. Who do you think he is…Barack Hussein Obama?

Of course, the old bi…err…bat wants to take control of the defense of our nation away from President Donald J. Trump.

She knows that the 45th President of the United States of America takes his job very seriously, as the world found out in his first address to the United Nations, which was very well received by those nations whose opinions actually matter.

Trump is not the madman that Pelosi tries to infer him to be.

Rather, he listens to his Cabinet and, so far, his Foreign Policy Maneuvers have been measured and precise.

Those who would violence against America now know that there is a “new sheriff in town”.

They are no longer dealing with Petulant President Pantywaist, who went on a World Apology Tour as soon as he got into office.

We are facing the very real possibility that the little  Korean Madman, Kim Jong Un, is going to launch nuclear missiles at us.

While no President can control the actions of other countries, in their own affairs, the position of President of the United States has not historically been referred to as the Leader of the Free World for no reason.

That position has historically been the Vanguard in the fight against despotism and tyranny.

Unfortunately, for lovers of freedom the world over, instead of being the leader that the world and America itself needed, Barack Hussein Obama instead was an example of the Peter Principle.

He rose to his level of incompetence.

Obama believed in a “Chamberlain-esque” Foreign Policy of appeasement, consisting of vague warnings, pay-offs, and drawing red lines in the sand.

It didn’t work.

His continuance of the Democratic Strategy which began at the end of the Korean War of “kicking the can down the road”, instead of standing up and dealing with North Korea has led to the 45th President having to deal with a Nuclear North Korea led by a despotic madman with his finger on the button.

Our President’s plain-spoken warning of “fire and fury” to the little Korean Madman, Kim Jung Un, was entirely appropriate and needed to be said.

Regardless of the “Concerned Handwringing” from the usual suspects, including “San Fran Nan” Pelosi, the old bi…err…bat..

Much to their angst and chagrin, President Donald J. Trump appears to be adopting President Ronald Reagan’s Foreign Policy of “Peace Through Strength.”

And, unlike his ineffectual Democrat Predecessors, President Trump is willing to do whatever it takes to protect our Sovereign Nation.

Sebastian Gorka, President Trump’s Former Deputy Adviser on National Security Affairs, once said the following about politicians publicly second guessing the president on such  grave matters as North Korea.

“Anybody, whether a member of Congress or a journalist, who thinks [their] politics trumps the national security of America, that’s an indictment of you. You need to ask yourself: what’s more important? My political party or America. There’s only one correct answer to that.”

Pelosi, the old bi…err…bat, per usual, answered “wrongly”.

The Art of the Deal: Trump Makes Gov’t Funding Deal with Dems to “Clear the Decks” for Tax Reform

43F1BB5F00000578-0-image-a-4_1504650105023

“MY STYLE of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward. I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I’m after.” ― President Donald J. Trump, Trump: The Art of the Deal

Breitbart.com reports that

President Donald Trump celebrated a deal with Democratic congressional leaders to punt the debt ceiling and government funding to December in an effort to speed up tax reform.

“I’ll tell you what, we walked out of there, Mitch and Paul and everybody, Kevin, and we walked out and everybody was happy,” Trump said after the meeting. “Not too happy — you can never be too happy, but they were happy enough.”

The deal fit neatly with what House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer wanted, but not what Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell or House Speaker Paul Ryan were looking for.

Republicans wanted a longer, 18-month raise of the debt ceiling and government funding, while Democrats see the possibility of a government shutdown in December as a political opportunity. The measure will likely be attached to spending for Hurricane Harvey relief in Texas and Louisiana.

But the White House argued that it was important to make a deal to ensure tax reform could happen.

“We believe that helping to clear the decks in September enables us to focus on tax reform for the American people,” White House Director of Legislative Affairs Marc Short told reporters on Air Force One. “We need to get the economy growing again and that’s what we need to focus on.”

Short said he planned to meet with Congressional members of the Freedom Caucus to discuss the deal, which he argued only extended the debt ceiling for a short time.

Trump appeared delighted to find an easy solution to the process, which many in Washington thought would be bloody.

“It was nice to see that happen for a change,” Trump said, during a tax reform speech in North Dakota. “That hasn’t happened for a long time in this country, for a very long time.”

Why did President Trump feel that he had to basically bypass both Rep. Paul Ryan and Sen. Mitch McConnell, in order to get something done?

Perhaps, he was simply tired of waiting.

Back on May 1st, Rush Limbaugh, the Maha Rushie himself, asked the following during his radio program…

…Why hasn’t there been a flood of legislation emanating from the Republicans in the House and the Senate to begin the process of implementing the Trump agenda? I know, I’ve answered my question. I’m doing this in a rhetorical sense to set up a premise. As I’ve stated many times, the Washington establishment’s totally opposed to Trump. They don’t want anything that Trump campaigned on to happen. They don’t want an outsider coming in and succeeding and thereby demonstrating how it can be done.

Nobody on the outside is supposed to be able to come in and reform Washington and improve it. The establishment has set it up so they have an exclusive, exclusionary club that very few people are capable or qualified to be part of, and that’s that. So the last thing they can afford is for somebody like Trump, who’s not a politician by trade, to come in after winning an election and totally turn the town upside down. They will not do it.

But the dirty little secret is that there isn’t any evidence that anywhere in Washington is there any aspect of the Trump agenda on display. It doesn’t seem to be that in the House of Representatives that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It doesn’t seem in the Senate that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It does seem in the House that there is a lot of energy devoted to stopping a Trump agenda. Ditto in the Senate.

So the people who are running the show in Washington are impervious and unconcerned about public opinion and the results of an election and are now in the process of doing what they can to thwart the will of the people in a very clear issues-dominated and issues-oriented election. Trump wins, he has a specific agenda. Where are the members of his party writing legislation to get going on the implementation of his agenda?

Where indeed.

What slays me about thwhole situation involving this “Do-nothing Congress” is the fact that the Establishment Republicans seem to be quite content, in their moderately Left-leaning stupor, even after the mandate that We The People delivered to them on November 8th, 2016, to be totally oblivious and tone deaf of their Base, average hard working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and acquiescing to the wishes of Democrats, instead of dealing with them, as Ronald Reagan did with Tip O’ Neil, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It was especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talked a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

and now, in the ninth month of Trump’s Presidency, Congress remains oblivious to the anger of average Americans, living here in the Heartland, during the 2016 President Election, which gave them control of Capitol Hill.

In 1975, Ronald Wilson Reagan gave a speech which sums up our present situation and average Americans’ visceral disdain for the Professional Politicians, who value the Washingtonian Status Quo, above US.

Americans are hungry to feel once again a sense of mission and greatness.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

Note to the GOP Elite:

You guys are now facing the same situation that faced Victor von Frankenstein, in the classic movie: You have created this “monster”.

…a pi$$ed-off base who voted for an “outsider”, a non-professional politician talking directly to the people…

And, you have lost control.

President Trump has shown, by both his words and actions, that he is determined, one way or another, to keep his Campaign Promises to the American People.

Your only hope is to catch this lighting in a bottle and to ride this lightning bolt all the way through Donald J. Trump’s tenure as President of the United States of America, supporting him and passing legislation in accordance with the wishes of the American Voters who made him the “Leader of your Political Party”.

Your phony boloney jobs are at stake.

If you do not straighten up and perform your job, by supporting President Trump, in accordance with the mandate which we gave you on November 8, 2016, those jobs which you have become so comfortable in, can and will be taken away in the next Midterm Elections.

The American People replaced a Professional Politician who screwed up the country with a Citizen Statesman.

You are not exempt from the same fate.

Pelosi Says That Trump Withdrawing From Paris Accords “Dishonors God”. Wait. I Thought Man Controlled the “Climate”?

PelosiUpset

Look, if Godzilla appeared on the Mall this afternoon, Al Gore would say it’s global warming, because the spores in the South Atlantic Ocean, you know, were. Look, everything is, it’s a religion. In a religion, everything is explicable. In science, you can actually deny or falsify a proposition with evidence. You find me a single piece of evidence that Al Gore would ever admit would contradict global warming and I’ll be surprised. — Charles Krauthammer

Some people are so stupid, you wonder how they remember to breathe.

CNSNews.com reported yesterday that

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) said at a press briefing today that withdrawing the United States from the Paris Accord on climate change dishonors God.
“The Bible tells us that to minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship,” Pelosi said. “To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us and that is just what we are doing by walking away from this accord.”

Here is an excerpt from Pelosi’s briefing:

And we have a moral responsibility in addition to our national security, our economy and the good health of our children. We have a moral responsibility.     We must leave future generations with a healthy, sustainable planet. Faith leaders—starting with His Holiness, Pope Francis—to the Evangelical community have urged as to be responsible stewards of the beauty of God’s creation. They believe, as do I, that this planet is God’s creation and we have a moral responsibility to be good stewards of it. When we worked with the Evangelical community to put together our climate legislation ten years ago, nine years ago–we worked on it for awhile–they had their literature which said that we had a moral responsibility to be good stewards of God’s creation, and, in doing so, we must pay special attention to the needs of the poor. They saw it as an environmental justice issue as well, the Evangelical community.
When the pope went to the White House he talked about the dangers of air pollution, when he was here. And just last week, the pope met with President Trump and gave him a copy of his encyclical, Laudate Si, which made the case for strong, urgent action to halt the climate crisis. The pope wrote: ‘The climate is a common good belonging to all and meant for all.’
The Bible tells us that to minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us and that is just what we are doing by walking away from this accord.

I just love it when Liberal Politicians like San Fran Nan attempt to speak for God.

Especially her.

In April of 2009, outspoken Abortion Rights Champion Pelosi traveled to Vatican City to meet with “Il Papa”.  Things did not go well for her. Here in Dixie, we would describe it as a “Come to Jesus” Meeting. (courtesy of catholicleague.org)

At their meeting, Pope Benedict XVI took the occasion “to speak of the requirements of the natural moral law and the Church’s consistent teaching on the dignity of human life from conception to natural death which enjoin all Catholics, especially legislators, jurists and those responsible for the common good of society, to work in cooperation with all men and women of good will in creating a just system of laws capable of protecting human life at all stages of development.”

What occasioned such a rebuke was not only Pelosi’s total support of abortion rights, including the now outlawed practice of partial-birth abortion, but her incredible statement last fall on “Meet the Press.” She said that the Catholic Church had not consistently opposed abortion over time. Hence, the pointed response by the pope.

What was perhaps even more significant, was the fact that Pelosi was denied her big prize: she desperately wanted a picture of her and the pope smiling together. But there was no photo-op—the Vatican, uncharacteristically, had no photographer present. Thus, there was no way for Pelosi to exploit her meeting.

And, then there was the 2012 Democratic National Convention

Delegates and members of the Democratic party booed after former Gov. Ted Strickland (D-OH) discussed God and moved to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Convention chairman Antonio Villaraigosa, mayor of Los Angeles, had to ask for the Yea and Nay vote several times before declaring the motion passed.

C-SPAN cameras captured the dissatisfaction among members after the motion passed.

More information from the Associated Press:
Democrats have changed their convention platform to add a mention of God and declare that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

The move came after criticism from Republicans.

Many in the audience booed after the convention chairman, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, ruled that the amendments had been approved despite the fact that a large group of delegates objected.

He called for a vote three times before ruling.

The party reinstated language from the 2008 platform that said “we need a government that stands up for the hopes, values and interests of working people and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”

The platform also now includes what advisers said was Obama’s personal views on Jerusalem.

Now that we’ve established that American Liberals like Nancy Pelosi, only refer to the Diety of 75% of Americans when it is politically expedient to do so…

Have you ever wondered why Modern American Liberals are still so preoccupied with the faux science of Global Warming/Climate Change?

I mean, how arrogant do you have to be to believe that you can make a change in the very weather itself, which is controlled by Someone way above your pay grade?

Invented by Al Gore, and propagandized in the book and the movie, “An Inconvenient Truth”, “Climate Change” has become both a Secular Liberal Religion and an industry, a failed one, but an industry none the less.

Ranging from washouts like Solyndra to GreenTech Automotive, millions of taxpayer dollars were sunk into these so-called green projects, through all 8 years of the Obama administration.

The Climate Change Hoax was a big money-maker for Liberals under the Obama Administration.

It is so much a part of Congressional Liberals personal mantras, they believe that literally EVERYTHING is secondary to this faux science.

Including the sovereignty of the United States of America.

So, when President Trump told those countries who were looking forward to spending American Taxpayers’ money with no penalties or responsibility on their end, that the Gravy Train was pulling out of the station without them, and Obama’s quest for an enduring legacy was not as important as the American Jobs which would have been lost, Liberals had something else to throw a hissy fit about.

why do Modern American Liberals and bought-off Liberal Politicians continue on their Quixotic Crusade to make a belief in a pseudo-science an “International Crisis”?

Per usual, I have some opinions on that…

1.  Appeasing the Gullible –Hey “The Facts Are In.” The “science” is true. And, as P.T. Barnum said,

There is a sucker born every minute.

Remember…these “true believers” of the Goreacle, also voted for Obama and Hillary. They are easily fooled.

2. Money, Money, Money – Too much money invested by Democrat “Power Brokers” and to much of American Taxpayers money spent needlessly to back down now. They have got political promises to keep.

3. Hey, look! Squirrel! – Liberals continue to grasp for whatever national distraction they can come up with to attempt to sabotage Trump’s Presidency, in the hope that, somehow, Trump will get impeached, recall, or something, and they can continue their quest to turn America into a Third World Socialist Utopia.

4. Modern American Liberals are heartbroken – Obama left, Hillary lost, and they have to have something to worship. Mother Gaia and Captain Planet will have to suffice.

5. Man is his own god – It is an unbelievable arrogance that allows those who believe in “Climate Change” to proclaim that man can lay claim to the Sovereignty of the God of Abraham, by controlling the very weather around us, by recycling plastic bottles, etc.

For Pelosi to attempt to argue that the God of Abraham is on her side is hypocritical at best and downright psychotic at worst.

Molech, yes. The God of Abraham, no.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they soon find Pelosi huddled in a corner, wearing her bloomers on top of her head, swearing that the ice is chasing her like it did people in that horrible movie starring Dennis Quaid, “The Day After Tomorrow”, which bombed spectacularly at the Box Office.

ROFL!

Pelosi Doesn’t Think “People Want a New Direction”. …She Doesn’t Think.

ftn-pelosi-1204The recently re-elected Minority Leader of the House of Representatives is nutter than a Christmas Fruitcake.

The New York Post reports that

Nancy Pelosi just gave Republicans another reason for celebration. The newly elected Minority Leader insisted Sunday Dems aren’t looking for a “new direction” even after the bruising Election Day defeats and a GOP monopoly in Washington.

A defiant — and possibly delusional — Pelosi stood firm about her party’s future when pressed with what she’ll do differently to deal with Democrat discontent.

“I don’t think people want a new direction,” Pelosi told CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “Our values unify us and our values are about supporting America’s working families.”

Pelosi was reelected Democratic Leader last week after a surprising challenge from Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan who argued Dems must do more to speak to working class voters in the rust belt and not just coastal liberal elites. Pelosi batted back the threat to her reign with 134-63 vote win, and has since downplayed the dire straits for the Democratic Party as cyclical changes.

“Let me just put that in perspective,” Pelosi said. “When President Clinton was elected, Republicans came in big in the next election. When President Bush was president, we came in big in the subsequent election. When President Obama became president, the Republicans came in big in the next election.”

And losing the White House and control of Congress, she says, has a silver lining – because jobless DC Dems will go back to their home states to run for governor, state seats and build up the bench.

“The states receive an infusion of talent,” Pelosi said. “President Obama, going out the office, sadly not having President Clinton come in. But those Democrats will go back, run for governor, run for congress, state legislatures, and the rest, and we will build up the numbers.”

Pelosi has led the Democratic caucus for 14 years and became the first female House speaker in 2007. Republicans were mockingly advocating for her to win the leadership election again because she’s been “great” for the GOP.

“I’m rooting for Nancy!,” GOP Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said last week. “She may have more support in our conference than her own conference.”

The word “delusional” does not even begin to cover San Fran Nan’s illogical statement.

Nancy Pelosi’s station in life defies logic.

That has to be the most tone deaf statement made about a nation’s people since Maria Antoinette, when supposedly asked about the starving rabble in France, quipped,

Let them eat cake!

For her to completely ignore the Historic Results of the Presidential Election held on November 8th, 2016, which saw an American Businessman and Entrepreneur, a novice to the Political Game, defeat a woman who has been in politics just about all of her adult life, does not just “strain” credulity…it stomps that sucker flat.

There are two possibilities for Pelosi’s miss judgment of the American People:

  1. She has been so sheltered from us “rabble” during all of those years up on Capitol Hill, that she simply is clueless to the daily lives of average Americans and how we feel on the issues of the day. Or…
  2. She is a victim of galloping dementia.

The brilliant Conservative Economist, Dr. Thomas Sowell once wrote,

…Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the world envisioned by today’s liberals is that it is a world where other people just passively accept whatever “change” liberals impose. In the world of Liberal Land, you can just take for granted all the benefits of the existing society, and then simply tack on your new, wonderful ideas that will make things better.

Liberal Ideas always cost taxpayer money…and they never make things better for the average American.

President Ronald Reagan once famously said,

It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.

A quotation which also helps to explain Pelosi’s gross overestimation of the popularity of Liberal Ideals among Average Americans here in “Flyover Country”.

Pelosi’s denial of the fact that Americans voted for change appears to be a part of an alternative reality that she and the rest of the “Special Snowflakes” who voted for Hillary Clinton and who compose the Far Left Base of the Modern Democratic Party, seem to have transported themselves into, upon hearing of Donald J. Trump’s victory in last month’s Presidential Election.

The pain of their frustration is so immense over Clinton’s loss that they have created a reality in which Clinton beat Trump, having won the hearts and minds of the American People.

Their undersized medulla oblongotas and oversized craniums will not allow them to accept the fact that Americans completely rejected their candidate, Hillary Clinton, and their Political Ideology on that fateful day in November.

So, they have retreated to that alternative reality, where they can feed and ride their unicorns somewhere over the rainbow and where they will find rest in their “Safe Space”.

Let them stay there.

The men and women of this nation, after 8 long, arduous years, finally, once again have an American President.

The time to “Make American Great Again” is at hand.

Until He Comes,

Trump, Fox News, the Democrat Elite, and “The Art of the Deal”

Oval-Office-Trump-ArtOfTheDealLeading Republican Presidential Primary Candidate, Donald J. Trump, was at the top of the News Cycle all day, yesterday.

I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

Eight hours ago, as of this posting, the Presidential Campaign Office of Donald J. Trump issued the following statement on his Official Faceboo Account…

(New York, NY) January 26th, 2016 – As someone who wrote one of the best-selling business books of all time, The Art of the Deal, who has built an incredible company, including some of the most valuable and iconic assets in the world, and as someone who has a personal net worth of many billions of dollars, Mr. Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one. FOX News is making tens of millions of dollars on debates, and setting ratings records (the highest in history), where as in previous years they were low-rated afterthoughts.

Unlike the very stupid, highly incompetent people running our country into the ground, Mr. Trump knows when to walk away. Roger Ailes and FOX News think they can toy with him, but Mr. Trump doesn’t play games. There have already been six debates, and according to all online debate polls including Drudge, Slate, Time Magazine, and many others, Mr. Trump has won all of them, in particular the last one. Whereas he has always been a job creator and not a debater, he nevertheless truly enjoys the debating process – and it has been very good for him, both in polls and popularity.

He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again.

Yesterday, Trump also said the following in an interview with Mike Barnicle on the seldom-watched cable news channel, MSNBC

Well, I think that I’m going to be able to get along with Pelosi. I think I’m going to be able to — I’ve always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I’ve never had a problem. Reid will be gone. I always had a decent relationship with Reid, although lately, obciosuly, I haven’t been dealing with him so he’ll actually use my name as the ultimate — you know, as the ultimate of the billionaires in terms of, you know, people you don’t want.

But I always had a great relationship with Harry Reid. And frankly, if I weren’t running for office I would be able to deal with her or Reid or anybody. But I think I’d be able to get along very well with Nancy Pelosi and just about everybody.

Hey, look, I think I’ll be able to get along well with Chuck Schumer. I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways. It’s important that you get along. It’s wonderful to say you’re a maverick and you’re going to stand up and close up the country and all of the things, but you have to get somebody to go along with you. You have a lot of people. We have a system. The founders created the system that actually is a very good system. It does work, but it can’t work if you can get nobody to go along with you.

When word came out, my fellow Conservatives made the following  points that

  1. If Trump can’t stand up to Meghan Kelly, how is he going to stand up to Putin and the rest of our enemies?
  2. 2. Who the heck wants to get along with Pelosi, Reid, and Schumer? The next President needs to politically destroy them!

Why did Trump tell Fox News to buzz off?

Why is he talking about “getting along” with the Democrat Elite?

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, gave a superb analysis of the way Trump operates, on his nationally-syndicated Program, yesterday…

Let me share with you some analysis that will no doubt be misunderstood and distorted in many places in our media, but here we go.  As I’m listening to Trump talk about all this — and not just today. It is fascinating, is it not, that Donald Trump has sort of reframed, or maybe even redefined, the purpose and the position of the presidency as something defined by negotiating deals?  He talks about this all the time. This is important. He’s credibly presenting himself as a skilled dealmaker, as a skilled negotiator.  Therefore, he is positing here that the job of president, to him, is negotiating and dealmaking, foreign and domestic.

Trade equals deals. Foreign policy equals deals such as Iran, the entire Middle East.  Domestic policy equals deals, i.e., making them with Democrats.  By all those deals… Here’s the thing: Every time Trump talks about doing a deal — with Mexico and the wall, you name it, with the ChiComs. Every time he talks about doing deals, he talks about winning them for his position, that nobody else is any good at this, that the people running our government now, elected officials now don’t know how to do deals. They do the dumbest deals ever.

But Trump is gonna do smart deals, because that’s what his life is.

He does deals for everything, and he runs rings around everybody.

He wrote a book on how to do deals better than anybody else.  Even after telling everybody how to do deals, they still can’t do ’em better than he does.  And he’s defined all of this as pro-America, i.e., for the people. Making America great again.  The opposition, or the opposite reactions to Trump among Republicans and others depends on whether people trust or believe him or not.  Trump opposers don’t believe it; Trump supporters do believe it.  He thinks he can make deals with Russia and Putin better than Obama, everybody think is so that’s he’s repositioning everything here as he’s a dealmaker and Cruz can’t do deals because everybody hates him.

Okay.  Let’s talk about deal-making here for a minute.  Just a quick minute or two.  When you are in business, let’s say you’re J.R. Ewing and you’re up against the cartel in Dallas, and you’re making deals, those are businesses deals.  Any kind of a business deal.  The experts who teach business school students how to do deals, the best deals are those in which everybody at the end feels good. The Art of the Deal in business is making sure that you get what you want while making the other side think they got enough of what they want that they’re happy, too.  That in business it’s a bad thing to skunk somebody and leave them with nothing.  Give ’em something, no matter what cards you hold, and if you go into the deal holding none of the cards, the objective is, both sides like it and both sides don’t.  If there’s commonality, if both sides are unhappy they didn’t get it all, fine.  If both sides are happy with what they get to one degree or another, then you got a good deal, an okay deal, and you’re out of there.

In politics, that’s not how it works.  Take a look at the deals the Republicans have done with the Democrats and ask yourself, in every one of them, be it a budget deal, be it an immigration deal, is there any, is there a single deal that the Republicans have made in the past seven years that any of you have felt, “You know what, we got something out of this?”  No. However, if you listen to the Republicans who participated in the negotiation of the deal, they universally come out of there and start telling us, “Hey, you know, we got some stuff in here that we didn’t have. And out of the budget deal you know what that was?  We won back the right to export oil.  We smoked ’em.  We got a great deal.”  And you’re saying, “You think that makes this a good deal?”

So from the Republican establishment standpoint, they think you will be made to believe that they made a good deal if they tout what they think they got out of it.  The Democrats, when they go into one of these deals, it’s smoke city.  There isn’t going to be one iota’s compromise.  The Republicans aren’t gonna get anything that matters.

Now, the Democrats might give them something inconsequential, just enough that the Republicans can leave the negotiation and say, “Look what we got, look what we got here, we did okay.”  And their voters are saying, “You got skunked, you got nothing, we lost it again, and what you promised to do is kick it down the road and we’ll deal with it next time.  It keeps happening and happening.  We didn’t get diddly-squat.”

“Yeah, we did, look at Medicare Part B!  We skunked ’em, we got a brand-new entitlement that’s got conservative free market principles all over.”  You think that was a win?  That’s what we were told after that happened.  How in the world can you, with a Republican administration, Republican House, agree to a new entitlement, it’s your idea for a new entitlement.  And they dare come out and tell us that that’s a win?

But in Trump’s world, where he does deals, he’s gonna have to do business with ’em down the road.  He doesn’t want to make enemies like he says Ted Cruz does.  Ted Cruz is not nasty.  You know, this is the thing.  I have warned them about this I don’t know how many times.  Ted Cruz is not nasty.  (imitating Trump) “He’s a nasty guy. Everybody hates Cruz.”  No, they fear Cruz, maybe respect Cruz, but, hey, look, if you’re running a scam and somebody comes along in your own club and calls you out on it, you’re not gonna love ’em, which is what Cruz did many times.

Addressing the first point concerning Trump’s decision to boycott tomorrow night’s debate,

1.  Trump knows that Fox News has been backing the Republican Elite’s Heir to the Throne, Jeb Bush, since the start of the Republican Primary. He is not going to walk into anywhere that he perceives, right or wrong, to be an ambush.

2. Trump’s real fight is with Roger Ailes, with whom he has been negotiating. Meghan Kelly is simply being used as a focal point.

3. Any publicity is good publicity. Trump evidently feels that this will not hurt his campaign.

4. Leverage.

Concerning Trump’s assertion that he can “get along” with the Democrat Hierarchy…

On July 27. 2012. John Heubush, Executive Director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, wrote the following op ed for The Daily Caller

  1. In order to be an effective President, you have to build a Coalition. The most effective President in my lifetime did.

“You’re in the big leagues, now.”

So the speaker of the House said to the 40th president of the United States just days after his inauguration.

It was 1981. The 97th Congress was a mixed bag, with a Democratic-controlled House, led by Speaker Thomas “Tip” O’Neill, and a Senate held by Republicans who, for the first time since 1953, controlled a chamber of Congress.

But Ronald Reagan didn’t think “eight years as governor of one of the largest states in the union had exactly been the minor leagues.” Sacramento had been Reagan’s beta-site where nothing was accomplished until strong coalitions were formed. “It was important to develop an effective working relationship with my opponents in the legislature,” Reagan wrote, “our political disagreements not withstanding.”

What did this adversarial relationship with O’Neill and Democrats produce in the next two years? Caustic gamesmanship? A stand-off? On July 29, 1981, less than six months after Reagan took office, a strong bipartisan coalition in the House passed one of the largest tax cuts in American history, the Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981. Two days later, the Senate followed suit.

How in the world did Reagan do it? Experience.

Matching wits with Jack Warner (of Warner Brothers) as head of the actors’ union and Jesse Unruh (speaker of the California State Assembly) as governor taught Reagan to come to the bargaining table prepared. “I’d learned while negotiating union contracts,” Reagan wrote, “that you seldom get everything you ask for.” (Years later, the press asked him about negotiating with Gorbachev. “It was easier than dealing with Jack Warner,” Reagan shot back.)

Although the Democrats were in a tough position after the Carter years, their big trump card was that nothing would get done unless Reagan won over a substantial number of them in the House. It’s no wonder that O’Neill was so full of braggadocio.

Somehow Reagan had to build a coalition.

The strategy to get the Economic Recovery Act passed by a conflicted Congress had two major parts.

First, Reagan would use his tremendous skills as a communicator by making repeated televised appeals to Congress and the American people. “Every time he spoke,” Reagan Chief of Staff Jim Baker recalled, “the needle moved.”

Second, the Legislative Strategy Group led by Baker and Ed Meese “did the grunt work” of inviting Democrats to the White House, while the president worked the phones. “I spent a lot of time in the spring and early summer of 1981 on the telephone and in meetings trying to build a coalition to get the nation’s recovery under way,” Reagan wrote. At the time, he even noted in his diary, “These Dems are with us on the budget and it’s interesting to hear some who’ve been here ten years or more say that it is their first time to ever be in the Oval Office. We really seem to be putting a coalition together.”

These “Dems” — the Boll Weevils — were Southern conservative Democrats who became key players in Reagan’s economic recovery strategy. It helped Reagan’s purpose that many represented districts that the president had carried in 1980. If they voted against a popular president, it could cost them their seats in 1982.

“To encourage the Boll Weevils to cross party lines,” journalist Lou Cannon wrote, “Reagan accepted a suggestion by James Baker and promised that he could not campaign in 1982 against any Democratic members of Congress who voted for both his tax and budget bills.” It was a shrewd and effective move.

2. In order to become President of the United States, you must garner more votes than the other party’s candidate. This cannot be done simply by relying on the votes of your own poltical party. You must have ‘crossover votes”.

Back on August 15, 1984, Mark Green, in an article written for the New York Times, titled, “Reagan, The Liberal Democrat”, wrote the following…

To what do we owe these conversions on the road to November? Could it be election-year opportunism? Could it be anything else?

There is a kind of historical consistency in this inconsistency: As Will Rogers noted back in the 1920’s: ”The Republicans have a habit of having three bad years and one good one, and the good ones always happened to be election years.”

If Ronald Reagan holds to this path, he may soon end up back among the Americans for Democratic Action, which he fled and renounced in the 1950’s.

Not surprisingly, ideological fellow-travelers such as the commentators William F. Buckley Jr. and Pat Buchanan have expressed dismay over their champion’s apostasy. Mr. Buchanan worries that by flirting with the idea of a summit meeting, the President ”is playing with the national security of the U.S.”

Mr. Reagan’s election-year liberalism appears designed to win over those political independents and weak Democrats who might otherwise recall him as the man who has opposed all but one of the major civil rights laws and nuclear arms control pacts of the past two decades.

Will it work? Only if these constituencies believe his reversals to be principled and permanent – and that seems unlikely. To conclude now that Ronald Reagan has suddenly become pro-environment, pro-arms control, pro-food stamps and pro-regulation is to believe that a sow’s ear can become a silk purse merely by declaring itself so.

Besides, swing voters faced this fall with the equivalent of two Democratic tickets may just as well decide to vote for the real McCoy rather than the imitation brand.

The New York Times was a Liberal Schlock Sheet, even way back in 1984.

They, like the rest of the Liberals in the Media back then, could not stand Ronald Reagan. That’s no secret. However, even they understood what Reagan. He was attracting “crossover votes” for his Second Presidential Campaign.

The constant deal-making, bravado and braggadocio, and his “willingness to work together” are arrows in the quiver of Donald J. Trump, which have served him well in the past, and have helped him become an American Success Story,

We shall see if those arrows find their mark during the Republican Presidential Primary Battle and later, the President Campaign, if he is the Nominee.

Similar arrows found the mark for Ronald Reagan.

Until He Comes,

Pelosi to Illegals: “We Are All Americans.” NO. “WE” AREN’T.

illegalsmarchA new poll, just published by the Pew Research Center, on American Patriotism, shows some interesting, if not expected results. Rick Moran of americanthinker.com reports that

A new study by the Pew Research Center that breaks down liberals and conservatives into 7 different groups, finds that those who identify as “solid liberals” don’t think much of you, or America, or “honor and duty” as core values.

The finding is contained in Pew’s new “Political Typology” report, which breaks Americans down into seven different categories — rather than the usual three. Among the seven categories, “solid liberals” are the only group in which a majority say they aren’t regularly proud to be Americans.

By contrast, more than seven in 10 “steadfast conservatives” and eight in 10 “business conservatives” say they are generally proud to be Americans.

The poll also shows many liberals don’t liken themselves to your average American. Just 51 percent say they feel as though they are “typical Americans” — as compared to three-quarters of conservatives and at least two-thirds of all the other groups.

The results differ from other recent polling which has tested a similar question. Gallup found strong majorities of all political groups say they are generally proud to be Americans, and Fox News in 2011 actually found more Democrats than Republicans said they were proud.

Part of the difference in the new poll, undoubtedly, is that Pew drills down a little more to highlight differences between true liberals and other liberals who might not be as consistent. Pew’s definition of “solid liberals” comprises just 15 percent of the American population — a much smaller group than just “liberals” or Democrats.

So, to sum up: the Hard Left is bereft of honor and scoffs at duty as a core value; they are elitists who look down on everyone else as inferior; and they don’t like America very much.

Sounds like most Democrats in Congress to me.

A prime example of that is Former (Thank the Lord) Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who, during a photo op down at our Southern Border yesterday, came came up with this wheelbarrow of fertilizer:

Breitbart.com reports that

Saturday at a press conference from the Rio Grande Valley, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) discussed her tour of a border holding facility and addressed the humanitarian crisis of thousands unaccompanied minors flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border, which she called a “humanitarian opportunity.”

Pelosi explained, “We are all Americans — north and south in this hemisphere,” and urged America to see this as not a crisis but an opportunity “to be helpful.” She also said she wished she could simply “take home” the thousands of children temporarily housed in the overburden facilities.

According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, in the past fiscal year more than 47,000 unaccompanied children have crossed the border into the United States through Mexico with the majority coming from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

In 1974, Ronald Wilson Reagan would give a speech which is now known as “The City Upon a Hill Speech”. Here is a excerpt:

You can call it mysticism if you want to, but I have always believed that there was some divine plan that placed this great continent between two oceans to be sought out by those who were possessed of an abiding love of freedom and a special kind of courage.

This was true of those who pioneered the great wilderness in the beginning of this country, as it is also true of those later immigrants who were willing to leave the land of their birth and come to a land where even the language was unknown to them. Call it chauvinistic, but our heritage does set us apart. Some years ago a writer, who happened to be an avid student of history, told me a story about that day in the little hall in Philadelphia where honorable men, hard-pressed by a King who was flouting the very law they were willing to obey, debated whether they should take the fateful step of declaring their independence from that king. I was told by this man that the story could be found in the writings of Jefferson. I confess, I never researched or made an effort to verify it. Perhaps it is only legend. But story, or legend, he described the atmosphere, the strain, the debate, and that as men for the first time faced the consequences of such an irretrievable act, the walls resounded with the dread word of treason and its price — the gallows and the headman’s axe. As the day wore on the issue hung in the balance, and then, according to the story, a man rose in the small gallery. He was not a young man and was obviously calling on all the energy he could muster. Citing the grievances that had brought them to this moment, he said, “Sign that parchment. They may turn every tree into a gallows, every home into a grave and yet the words of that parchment can never die. For the mechanic in his workshop, they will be words of hope, to the slave in the mines — freedom.” And he added, “If my hands were freezing in death, I would sign that parchment with my last ounce of strength. Sign, sign if the next moment the noose is around your neck, sign even if the hall is ringing with the sound of headman’s axe, for that parchment will be the textbook of freedom, the bible of the rights of man forever.” And then it is said he fell back exhausted. But 56 delegates, swept by his eloquence, signed the Declaration of Independence, a document destined to be as immortal as any work of man can be. And according to the story, when they turned to thank him for his timely oratory, he could not be found nor were there any who knew who he was or how he had come in or gone out through the locked and guarded doors.

Well, as I say, whether story or legend, the signing of the document that day in Independence Hall was miracle enough. Fifty-six men, a little band so unique — we have never seen their like since — pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. Sixteen gave their lives, most gave their fortunes and all of them preserved their sacred honor. What manner of men were they? Certainly they were not an unwashed, revolutionary rabble, nor were they adventurers in a heroic mood. Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists, 11 were merchants and tradesmen, nine were farmers. They were men who would achieve security but valued freedom more.

…Standing on the tiny deck of the Arabella in 1630 off the Massachusetts coast, John Winthrop said, “We will be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us, so that if we deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword throughout the world.”

Since the birth of our nation, immigrants from all over the world, have made long and treacherous journeys to this “Shining City Upon a Hill, where they came to become AMERICANS, swearing an Oath of Allegiance to OUR COUNTRY, an oath taken “without hesitation or purpose of evasion”.

They came here in compliance with our nation’s laws.

These Illegal Aliens, including this overwhelming influx of tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors, being dropped off at our border by the Drug Cartels, are not the same, no matter what Nancy Pelosi says.

By refusing to enter our country by the legal and proper way in which millions of legal immigrants did before them, they show a disdain and disregard of our nations laws, as do the preening politicians who are so eager to forgive them of their crime, in order to add potential voters to their political party.

NO, REPRESENTATIVE PELOSI. THESE LAWBREAKERS ARE NOT AMERICANS. …NOT UNTIL THEY ENTER OUR SOVEREIGN NATION IN THE RIGHT WAY, AND SWEAR THEIR ALLEGIANCE AND LOYALTY TO IT.

BEING AN AMERICAN IS NOT A RIGHT. IT IS A PRIVILEGE.

Until He Comes,

Obama’s Illegal Immigration Initiative: Possible Amnesty EO in the Works. Witch Pelosi to Welcome Mexican Munchkin Migration

obamaillegalimmigrationThe last bipartisan U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform wrangled with this hot topic for six years. President Clinton appointed former congresswoman and Democratic icon Barbara Jordan as its chair. Jordan came from humble beginnings to become a lawyer and the first Southern black woman elected to the House of Representatives. A DEMOCRAT, she was a leader in the civil rights movement, a professor of ethics, a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a world-class orator (two of her speeches are considered among the greatest of the 20th century). Her appointment gave the commission instant credibility. According to Jordan, she believed her responsibility as the head of the commission was to restore credibility to the U.S. immigration system. On the issue of illegal immigration, Jordan was very clear and succinct:

Unlawful immigration is unacceptable. Those who should not be here will be required to leave.

I wonder what Rep. Jordan would think of her beloved Democratic Party, now that they have embraced and are welcoming the same illegality, which she was so clear about ?

Breitbartnews.com reports that

President Obama, tired of waiting for Congress to act on immigration reform, is currently exploring ways to address issues with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.

During an interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that the Obama administration was getting impatient with Congress.

“[W]e’re not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress,” he explained. “We’ve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.”

Earnest added that, although Obama was exploring executive action, it was “not a substitute for robust Congressional action” on immigration reform.

“That’s why we’re trying to focus on getting that done,” he concluded.

Obama has been heavily criticized after his 2012 executive decision to defer the deportations of some young illegal immigrants, which critics argue was a key incentive for more children to cross the border illegally.

And, where the fallen messiah goes, his acolytes must follow (especially if there will be cameras involved).

According to politico.com,

pelosiwitchHouse Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will travel to the southern border of the U.S. on Saturday to be briefed by Customs and Border Protection on the flood of unaccompanied minors entering the country.

The California Democrat will also meet with a group of children held at the South Texas Detention Facility.

“The humanitarian crisis unfolding across our nation’s southern border demands Congress come together and find thoughtful, compassionate and bipartisan solutions,” Pelosi said. “We must ensure our laws are fully enforced, so that due process is provided to unaccompanied children and the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children is protected. We must also work to address the root causes of the problem.

More than 50,000 unaccompanied children from central America have crossed the border into the United States since last October, but federal law says the U.S. cannot immediately turn the minors away if they are from non-contiguous countries such as Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

The rush of children has turned into a crisis for Customs and Border Protection, which does not have the capacity to house the children for the 72 hours before they are transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services to await an immigration hearing.

Pelosi will be joined by Democratic Reps. Filemon Vela of Texas, Rubén E. Hinojosa of Texas and Steven Horsford of Nevada. Hinojosa is the chairman of the Chairman, Congressional Hispanic Caucus and Vela sits on the House Homeland Security Committee.

The sight of San Fran Nan, greeting them at the Border, may make all the illegals turn tail and run back home.

When she was young, they fed her with a slingshot.

But, I digress…

What makes the current influx of illegal immigrants exempt from the rules and regulations that every other generation of immigrants to this country had to abide by in order to become legal citizens of the greatest nation in the world? By being here illegally, they are not entitled to the same rights as natural-born or naturalized American citizens.

And, yet, even as I write this, they are in our hospitals, taking advantage of our charity and the finest health care system in the world, and driving our streets, with either forged drivers licenses or those obtained from states who have acquiesced and given them to these “undocumented workers”.

This is in no way a human rights issue. Freedom is God-given, and with freedom comes responsibility. With citizenship comes responsibility, like paying taxes and making your own way.

My concerns about this whole “Path to Citizenship” business, can be divided into three bullet points. (Hey, I’m a VP of Marketing. What do you expect?)

1. Patriotism – Will these new “citizens” be willing to fly our flag above theirs? Will they be willing, if called upon, to serve in our Armed Forces, at home or abroad? Will they love this country, more than the one they left?

2. Loyalty – When these “new Americans” achieve the right to vote, are they all going to vote Democrat, so that they can receive more FREE STUFF? Is the Republican Party shooting themselves in both feet by pushing an outcome which will simply add new Democratic Voters? As I asked in the first point, will they honestly embrace our sovereign nation as their new home? Or, will they remain loyal to Mexico?

3. Immigration – Are we rewarding illegal behavior, while at the same time, insulting all of the brave souls who have come here legally, seeking a better life for themselves and their families?

I understand that people want a better life for themselves and their children. We are all immigrants in this land, except for American Indians, and they got here by crossing the Bering Straight. But there is a huge difference between immigrating here legally and sneaking in illegally, between assimilating into an existing culture, and insisting on replacing a country’s existing culture with that of the country you left.

I’m all for assisting anyone in becoming a legal citizen of the United States, if that is their wish. But, it must be done the right way, and they must accept responsibility for their illegal entry, show a willingness to learn our language, and embrace our American way of life, including respecting the American Flag.

So, let’s take this one step at a time. Secure our borders. Enforce the anti-illegal immigration laws. And if the Federal Government won’t, the states, like Arizona, will have to pass their own laws. America became a great nation because it is a melting pot of American-born and legally immigrated citizens with a shared allegiance, not a multi-cultural United Nations with everyone loyal to their home country.

A wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now. All of OUR SERVANTS, up on Capitol HIll, need to quit playing political games. The safety of America is at stake . SECURE THE BORDER NOW.

Oh, and if John Boehner and the Vichy Republicans think that being pro-Amnesty will win the presidency for them, I have two words for them:

UNEMPLOYED AMERICANS.

BenghaziGate: Pelosi Continues to Deny Reality as the Democrat Distraction Campaign Continues

BenghaziWhiteHouseMind if I ask you a question?

How many squirrels are there in the White House backyard?

The reason I asked that question is because it seems that every time that the President and his Administration gets in trouble, they point out another squirrel for us to concentrate on.

Now that it has been decided that there will be a House Select Committee appointed, with Trey Howdy as its chairman, to investigate that horrible night of September 11th, 2012, when 4 Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, were slaughtered at the hands of al Qaeda operatives, on the grounds of the US Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya, the Administration and all of their minions, including the Main Stream Media, are trying their best to focus the country’s attention in another direction. This time the direction is Nigeria, where almost 250 young girls have been kidnapped by the al Qaeda operatives there.

The Administration’s efforts include having a picture of First Lady Michelle Obama holding up a sign of the Diplomatic Room of the White House featuring  the Twitter hashtag du jour, #BringBackOurGirls.

As I wrote earlier in the week, the President has sent military consultants over there in an effort to help find the young ladies, and to divert the low information voter’s attention away from the Benghazi Massacre.

Meanwhile, back on the homefront, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi talked to reporters yesterday, after the House Democrat held a meeting, trying to decide whether to be a part of the Committee or not. She told the reporters that the formation of a select committee was simply a distraction from her fallen messiah’s master plan to raise the dead and cure athlete’s Foot.

Well…that’s not exactly what she said, but what she did say was just as goofy.

The Washington Examiner reports that

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says a new Republican-led panel to investigate the Benghazi attacks is just political stunt that doesn’t concern most Americans.

“Either people have gotten tired of Benghazi or they never knew about it in the first place,” the California Democrat told reporters Friday at the Capitol. “It’s all subterfuge because they don’t want to talk about what our responsibilities are here” in Congress.

The GOP-run House on Thursday rammed through a measure to establish a 12-member select committee to probe the attacks. The panel was set up to include seven Republicans and five Democrats, though Pelosi says that — for now — Democrats won’t participate.

“Let’s not be accomplices to this diversionary tactic,” she said.

Pelosi added that the Republicans’ push for a new Benghazi panel was the result of GOP Rep. Darrell Issa’s failure to lead his own probe of the attacks.

Five House committees have been investigating the attacks, most notably the Oversight and Government Reform Committee led by Issa, R-Calif.

But Pelosi said Republican leaders have been so displeased with Issa’s efforts they decided to “move from him to another venue.”

“Issa just is damaged goods,” she said. “We’ve been there, done this, over and over again.”

Issa has been highly critical of the Obama administration’s response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. The White House initially said the attacks were spontaneous and linked to protests earlier that day in Cairo against an American-made video denigrating Islam’s prophet Muhammad. But Republicans have said the evidence shows that the administration knew it was a planned attack by an organized anti-American terrorist group.

The Looney Lib-ette, while saying that “the American People are tired of it”, also said that “they never knew about it in the first place”.

I tried to figure that one out, but it gave me a headache.

Fox News Poll of 1,006 registered U.S. voters released in February, showed that

Overall, 66 percent of the respondents want the investigation t continue. And more specifically, 83 percent of Republicans, 50 percent of Democrats and 68 percent of independents agree — along with 92 percent of tea partyers, 78 percent of conservatives, 47 percent of liberals, 58 percent of blacks, 67 percent of whites, 68 percent of women and 63 percent of men.

For all of the Administration’s and their minions’ subterfuge and attempts at distraction, the fact remains that, on September 25, 2012, United States President, Barack Hussein Obama, spoke before the United Nations General Assembly, blaming an un-watched youtube.com video, for the massacre of 4 brave Americans, on the night of September 11, 2011, at the Benghazi , Libya, U.S. Embassy Compound, by al Qaeda Operatives…

…In every culture, those who love freedom for themselves must ask themselves how much they’re willing to tolerate freedom for others. And that is what we saw play out in the last two weeks, where a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world. Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity. It is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well.

For as the city outside these walls makes clear, we are a country that has welcomed people of every race and every faith. We are home to Muslims who worship across our country. We not only respect the freedom of religion, we have laws that protect individuals from being harmed because of how they look or what they believe.

We understand why people take offense to this video because millions of our citizens are among them. I know there are some who ask why don’t we just ban such a video. The answer is enshrined in our laws. Our Constitution protects the right to practice free speech.

Over a year and one-half later, the truth as to who issued the Stand Down Order, and sacrificed the lives of those 4 men, for the sake of political expediency, on that horrible night in Benghazi, is still not known. Americans have their suspicions. Suspicions that were not allayed any by the before-quoted speech by President Obama at the UN General Assembly, in which he proclaimed that

…The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

Since that night in Benghazi, the Radical Muslim-fueled violence know as “Arab Spring” has proceeded “right on schedule”, with Syrian’s Muslim President Assad now in its cross-hairs.

President Obama has made speeches in support of and sent advanced weaponry to the “Syrian Rebels”, whose majority are card-carrying members of the Muslim Terrorist Group, al Qaeda, perpetrators of the largest Terrorist Attack ever on American Soil, on 9/11/01, and the attack on the Benghazi Compound.

Fortunately, Americans refuse to support Obama’s mission to aid these Terrorists.

Our memories of those two faithful days, 11 years apart, and average Americans’ wish for justice for those 3,000 and 4 Americans, savagely murdered by the “followers of the prophet”, take precedence over any trumped-up concern by President Barack Hussein Obama over any slander of “Muhammed’s name”.

Americans want the truth.

Obama and his followers can’t handle the truth.

Until Christ Comes,
