House Passes $3 Trillion Coronavirus Relief Bill So Full of Pork They Should Have Named It “Hogzilla”

F6ryN9QE

FoxNews.com reports that

The House of Representatives on Friday evening passed a $3 trillion coronavirus relief bill, the most expensive legislation approved in history, that Democrats hailed as the unprecedented response needed to deal with the unprecedented pandemic and economic fallout.

The record-breaking bill narrowly passed by a 208-199 vote. Fourteen Democrats defied their party and voted “no,” while one Republican, Rep. Pete King of New York, broke with the GOP and voted “yes.”

“If you don’t understand the suffering, you haven’t been paying attention,” said Rep. Nita Lowey, D-N.Y., the chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee.

“The time for action is now. The American people have unprecedented needs and the federal government must step up to the plate [and] provide the necessary assistance to meet those needs,” she said.

Unlike the first four coronavirus bills that passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, this 1,815-page package was drafted by Democrats alone and earned a veto threat from the White House and condemnation from the GOP as a “liberal wish list” that’s dead on arrival in the Senate.

Even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi couldn’t get all her members on board. The most liberal members of the party panned the legislation as not going big enough, while moderate members in swing districts said they couldn’t support vote a bill that was too partisan and costly.

“At a time when our country is in real trouble, we should not be spending precious time on one-sided solutions that aren’t going anywhere,” said Rep. Joe Cunningham, D-S.C.

…Dubbed the HEROES Act, the legislation includes $915 billion in state and local aid that could prevent layoffs of public workers, like first responders and teachers; a new $200 billion “heroes” fund for hazard pay for essential workers; $100 billion for K-12 and higher education and $75 billion for coronavirus testing.

The legislation aims to get more money into the pockets of Americans hard-hit by widespread business closures. Eligible individuals would receive $1,200 checks for each person in their household, up to $6,000.

The bill extends add-on unemployment benefits of $600 payments, in addition to state benefits, through January 2021, creates a special enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act exchanges for the uninsured and provides $175 billion for families to pay their mortgages and rent. The legislation includes student loan forgiveness, an employee retention tax credit and increases maximum SNAP benefits, which are currently $768 a month, by 15 percent.

But tucked into the legislation are provisions that rankled the Republicans including expanding $1,200 checks to certain undocumented immigrants, restoring the full State and Local Tax Deduction (SALT) that helps individuals in high-taxed blue states, a $25 billion rescue for the U.S. Postal Service, allowing legal marijuana businesses to access banking services and early voting and vote-by-mail provisions.

“So much of what’s in this bill simply has nothing at all to do with the current crisis,” said Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla. “It’s more like a liberal Christmas … wish list. It would make more sense … to just send it straight to Santa Claus than to send it to the United States Senate. It would have a better chance of becoming law that way.”

Acknowledging this bill won’t get passed in the GOP-led Senate, Democrats framed the HEROS Act as their opening offer for negotiations. Democrat leadership said bipartisan legislation wasn’t an option because Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell wanted to put the brakes on any new relief bill and suggested that states go bankrupt.

Pelosi, D-Calif., hit back on critics who say now’s the time to “take a pause” on more spending and that the bill is bloated with goodies.

“This is not a Christmas tree, there’s nothing joyful about this,” Pelosi said. “This is a very strategically planned piece of legislation.”

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., chided members who pay lip service to first responders and heroes but don’t back it up with money. “Put up or shut up,” Waters told her colleagues. “Now is the time to do it.”

There has always, at least as long as I can remember, been give and take between the Republican and Democratic Parties in the creation of a bill which they wish to be made into a law.

However, for the last few decades, the Democrats and Republicans, to a certain extent, have used the passage of bills into law as a means of paying back their political contributors and their favorite lobbyists, who treat the Capitol Hill Politicians “very well”.

That being said, the 3 trillion dollar coronavirus relief bill which Pelosi and her fellow Democrats have passed not only deserves to die in the Senate, Sen. McConnell needs to set it on fire and toss it into the nearest waste basket.

Average Americans want to go back to work…as least most of them do.

The problem is, small businesses, such as restaurants, may not reopen.

If Congress is going to spend more of our money, at least give it to the Americans who need it…the small business owners.

Another thing, if someone who is receiving unemployment is called by their employer and offered their job back, there must be incentives for them to leave unemployment behind such as stopping their unemployment if they do not accept their old position back at full salary.

All of the Democrats’ Pet Pork Projects which Pelosi and Waters so conveniently ignored in their defense of their “Hogzillia” of a bill have nothing whatsoever with assisting in reopening America., with good reason.

The Democrats do not want America to reopen.

They want to recreate The Great Society.

Only this time, it’s purpose is to damage a sitting President and to radically change a Constitutional Republic into a Democratic Socialist country.

Which is quite the opposite of “raising people up”.

Come to think of it, that is what happened when they passed into law the first “Great Society”, also.

Trump Predicts a “Big Bounce” of an Economic Comeback After the Coronavirus Lockdown is Over…Why He is Right

1054122335

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump on Thursday predicted a “big bounce” as he argued the U.S. economy will recover quickly from the massive hit it has taken because of the coronavirus pandemic — despite 16.8 million Americans losing their jobs in just the last three weeks.

As he teased possible deals to help out the ailing airline industry and help oil prices recover, Trump said he was confident that the flagging U.S. economy would come back from the drubbing taken since it was effectively shut down from the current pandemic.

“The economy is just going to do very well,” Trump said at the daily coronavirus taskforce briefing at the White House. “I think we’re going to have a big bounce…we’re going to open up very strong.”

Trump’s bravado was juxtaposed by the staggering jobs numbers from the week in which 6.6 million more Americans filed for unemployment benefits. Those number now mean that one in every 10 working Americans have lost their job in the last three weeks.

The figures collectively constitute the largest and fastest string of job losses in records dating to 1948. By contrast, during the Great Recession it took 44 weeks — roughly 10 months — for unemployment claims to go as high as they now have in less than a month.

The job market is quickly unraveling as businesses have shut down across the country. All told, in the past three weeks, 16.8 million Americans have filed for unemployment aid. The surge of jobless claims has overwhelmed state unemployment offices around the country. And still more job cuts are expected.

More than 20 million people may lose jobs this month. The unemployment rate could hit 15% when the April employment report is released in early May.

The viral outbreak is believed to have erased nearly one-third of the U.S. economy’s output in the current quarter. Forty-eight states have closed non-essential businesses.

The president’s optimistic outlook on economic recovery is not shared by some of the world’s top economists who say there are emerging signs that any recovery will fail to match the speed and severity of the economic collapse that occurred in just a few weeks. The 2020 presidential and Senate elections likely will take place as the world’s largest economy is still attempting to climb back from the deadly outbreak.

“Anyone who assumes we’re going to get a sharp snapback in activity isn’t thinking about how consumers are going to feel. They’re going to be very cautious,” said Nariman Behravesh, chief economist at IHS Markit. “Households and businesses have seen their finances deteriorate. People are buying groceries on their credit cards.”

If there is one bright spot, it is that Wall Street closed out its best week in 45 years on Thursday after the Federal Reserve launched its latest titanic effort to support the economy through the coronavirus outbreak.

…Trump’s press briefing began shortly after he finished a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Salman of Saudi Arabia regarding global oil prices and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. Russia recently announced a deal with OPEC to cut down its oil production in an effort to prop up global prices.

Trump has said that output could be cut by as much as 15 million barrels a day, or about 15 percent of global production, though experts said that was unlikely. Instead, OPEC and Russia announced on Thursday that it cut the amount to 10 million barrels per day, or 10 percent of global supplies. Reductions of five million barrels per day are expected to come from other nations to help alleviate the largestt oil crisis in decades.

When I read the above article, I could not believe how absolutely gloom and doom negative that the writer was about Trump being able to restore our economy to the juggernaut that it was before the Chinese Coronavirus came to our shores.

Then I remembered that Rupert Murdoch was no longer in charge of Fox News Channel, his sons and their Liberal wives were, along with Never-Trumper Paul Ryan, among others.

I believe that the major factor concerning the ability for America’s Economy to come back is the amount of Government Aid given to small businesses to keep solvent so that they will be ready to rehire their staff and open their doors when the time comes.

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy.

Mitch McConnell suggested that more money be allotted to small business right now and Nancy Pelosi and the Congressional Democrats denied it because that would get in their way of tanking Trump’s Economy and making America a Socialist Paradise after they win the 2020 Presidential Election.

American businesses must be ready to hit the ground running once this “National Lockdown” is over with.

Any American with common sense knows that no one ever got a job from a poor man or woman.

The Democrats must be maneuvered into cooperating with the President and the Congressional Republicans in the matter of clearing the pathway for businesses to be able to start the engine of Capitalism moving once again.

If this happens, then just as he did the first time, President Trump will once again use his business acumen to help enable American businesses to rehire and run unencumbered.

Americans will work, they will get paid for their work, and they will spend their paycheck at other businesses, who will in turn hire more employees, etc. The same “geniuses who predict that the American Economy will not recover from this “invisible enemy” are the same ones who said that Trump would never be President and, once he was elected, said that the economy was never coming back.

The “Smartest People in the Room” also predicted that 2.2 million Americans would die from the Coronavirus. That number has been revised to 60,000 and will probably be revised to an even lower number.

Never underestimate Americans.

We can accomplish anything that we put our minds to.

Senate Passes Phase 3 of Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill 96-0…The Ball is in Pelosi’s Court Now

pelosi-1-1

Last night, the Senate finally passed Phase 3 of the Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill with a unanimous vote of 96-0.

FoxNews.com reports that

The final bill text will use 2019 tax returns, if available, or 2018 tax returns to assess income for determining how much aid individuals receive. Those who did not file tax returns can use a Form SSA-1099, Social Security Benefit Statement or Form RRB-1099, a Social Security Equivalent Benefit Statement.

The bill would provide one-time direct payments to Americans of $1,200 per adult making up to $75,000 a year, and $2,400 to a married couple making up to $150,000, with $500 payments per child.

Gone are mentions of mandatory early voting, ballot harvesting, requirements that federal agencies review their usage of “minority banks,” and provisions curbing airlines’ carbon emissions — a Pelosi demand that even Saikat Chakrabarti, the former chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and an author of the Green New Deal, called “ridiculous.”

“What’s not in the Senate’s bipartisan coronavirus bill: Pelosi’s outrageous wish list,” wrote GOP national spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington. “0 mentions of ‘diversity.’ 0 mentions of ’emissions.’ 0 mentions of ‘early voting.’ 0 mentions of ‘climate change.’ Good!”

At the same time, the bill satisfied some Democrat policy goals. Page 524 of the bill text indicates that many businesses that take a government loan would be obligated to remain neutral in any “union organizing effort” during the loan — a major giveaway to unions. Affected businesses would have between 500 and 10,000 employees.

Also in the final bill text, $25 million would still be allocated for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. President Trump, speaking at the White House coronavirus briefing earlier Wednesday, said that he understood the provision was necessary because Democrats demanded some concessions in order to get the stimulus bill passed.

Pelosi was the first to demand the money in her own bill, which Republicans said was full of unseemly payouts for well-connected special interests at a time of national crisis.

The Kennedy Center put out a statement Wednesday evening saying it was “extraordinarily grateful that Congress has recognized our institution’s unique status and has included funding in its legislation to ensure that we can reopen our doors and stages as soon as we are able.”

“For an opera house, you sure are tone-deaf,” responded blogger Jim Treacher, after telling the Kennedy Center where to shove its statement.

Aside from direct payments to most Americans, the bill would expand unemployment benefits and provide a $367 billion program for small businesses to keep making payroll while workers are forced to stay home.

The movement came as stocks posted their first back-to-back gains in weeks, but much of Wednesday’s early rally faded as the hitch developed in the Senate. The market is down nearly 27 percent since setting a record high a month ago.

Amid the debate, presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders said he might try to torpedo the Senate’s stimulus package. Republican senators dropped their objections about what they called a “massive drafting error” related to unemployment benefits.

“In my view, it would be an outrage to prevent working-class Americans to receive the emergency unemployment assistance included in this legislation,” Sanders said in a statement, also posted on social media.

“Unless these Republican Senators drop their objections, I am prepared to put a hold on this bill until stronger conditions are imposed on the $500 billion corporate welfare fund to make sure that any corporation receiving financial assistance under this legislation does not lay off workers, cut wages or benefits, ship jobs overseas, or pay workers poverty wages,” he continued.

Sanders took to the Senate floor late Wednesday at approximately 9:30 p.m. ET to say he was concerned that the administration would be able to “expend $500 billion in virtually any way they want” under the legislation. In fact, the administration would not have such unilateral control.

…The package is intended as relief for an economy spiraling into recession or worse and a nation facing a grim toll from an infection that’s killed nearly 20,000 people worldwide. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, asked how long the aid would keep the economy afloat, said: “We’ve anticipated three months. Hopefully, we won’t need this for three months.”

Underscoring the effort’s sheer magnitude, the bill finances a response with a price tag that equals half the size of the entire $4 trillion annual federal budget.

“A fight has arrived on our shores,” said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “We did not seek it, we did not want it, but now we’re going to win it.”

One of the last issues to close in the bill concerned $500 billion for guaranteed, subsidized loans to larger industries, including a fight over how generous to be with the airlines, given that Democrats wanted to restrict their carbon emissions. Hospitals would get significant help as well.

“There is a whole concern in our country that if we’re giving tens of billions of dollars to the airlines, that we could at least have a shared value about what happens to the environment,” Pelosi said Tuesday.

But, support for Democrats’ climate-change push in the stimulus bill withered Tuesday. The former chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Saikat Chakrabarti, wrote on Twitter in response to Pelosi’s comments: “I helped write the #GreenNewDeal and I think this is ridiculous. The tiny little emissions standard increase doesn’t even do anything meaningful to stave off climate change and gives the @GOP leverage to get rid of real help for working people. Solve the problem at hand. Hospitals would get significant help as well.”

Why is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi so skittish about signing this bill which will actually help average Americans, including her constituency?

Well, it is reported that behind the scenes, Pelosi is catching a lot of flak from the Social Justice Warriors in the House, including AOC and the rest of the Squad.

That would explain why the bill which she wrote had so much money going to special interest groups and projects which have nothing to do with the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic.

According to Brian Darling, writing for Townhall.com in a post published on Tuesday…

One member of ‘The Squad’ wants to use the Pelosi produced ‘stimulus’ bill to eliminate banks. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), one of the leaders of the Democratic Socialists in the House, wants Pelosi to insert legislation into the stimulus to damage America’s banking system. Tlaib’s bill, the Automatic BOOST to the Communities Act, would provide a pre-loaded $2,000 government issued debit card to every person in America with a new $1,000 deposit every month until a year after the passing of the coronavirus crisis.

Needless to say, that “brilliant” plan did not make it into the final bill. Thank God.

The Democrats are being destroyed by a monster of their own making.

The Democrats arrogance has become their undoing.

Their erroneous belief that they are the smartest people in any room they walk into has caused them to believe that the majority of Americans believe as they do, embracing he politics of Marxism and the “diversity” of special interest groups.

They learned nothing from the night of November 8, 2016.

And now, their own Trump Derangement Syndrome coupled with the “Democratic Socialist”/SJW Movement, is dividing and slowly consuming the Democratic Party from within, as the Democratic Elite like Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and Chuck Schumer are dong whatever they have to in order to hold on to their power within their own party, by appeasing Social Justice Warriors like the Squad.

Unfortunately for the Democratic Elite, their party has moved so Far to the left of the Political Spectrum that average Americans have no respect left for them whatsoever.

And, nominating an almost 80-year old man struggling with the onset of Dementia as their 2020 Presidential Candidate will not help the Democrats regain the trust of the American voters at all.

And, if they dump Biden for Cuomo, American voters are going to have a problem with his Liberal arrogance and the fact that he supports late term abortion.

If the alcoholic Speaker of the House can temporarily stop her two remaining brain cells from fighting to the death and achieve a moment of clarity, she will realize that she must make sure that the Phase 3 Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill passes when it is voted on this Friday morning…

…or the Democratic Party will go the way of the Whigs.

Which, at this point, would probably be a good thing.

McConnell Blasts Pelosi Over Obstruction of Coronovirus Cloture Vote: “She’s the Speaker of the House, Not the Speaker of the Senate”

image (2)

FoxNews.com reports that

The GOP-controlled Senate on Sunday failed to move forward with considering the $1.4 trillion “Phase Three” stimulus package intended to help businesses and families devastated by the downturn over the coronavirus outbreak, as Senate Majority Leader McConnell, R-Ky., blasted Democrats opposed to the plan.

The vote came while at least five GOP senators were in self-quarantine, including Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who became the first U.S. senator to announce he tested positive for the virus. Senators were asked to practice social distancing and were given a list of health guidelines to follow while entering the chamber.

Many Democrats had complained that the draft aid package did not go far enough to provide health care and unemployment aid for Americans, and failed to put restraints on a proposed $500 billion “slush fund” for corporations, saying the ban on corporate stock buy-backs are weak and the limits on executive pay would last only two years.

Democrats also pushed for add-ons including food security aid, small business loans and other measures for workers — saying the three months of unemployment insurance offered under the draft plan was insufficient.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said the draft package “significantly cut back our hospitals, our cities, our states, our medical workers and so many others needed in this crisis.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., urged colleagues to “take responsibility” as Democrats prepared their own draft. The House had just returned from a weeklong recess.

After the bill failed to move forward, McConnell tore into Democrats, accusing them of backing out of a bipartisan agreement once Pelosi and Schumer intervened. He claimed Pelosi took “a week off” and “poured cold water on the whole process.” He also said the Senate would re-vote on the motion to proceed with consideration of the bill Monday morning, “15 minutes after the markets open to see if there’s a change of heart.”

“The build-up to this is that we had a high level of bipartisanship over the last 48 hours… And then, all of a sudden, the Democratic leader and the speaker of the House shows up…and we’re back to square one,” he said, referring to Schumer and Pelosi. “I want everybody to understand that if we aren’t able to act tomorrow, it’s because of our colleagues on the other side, continue to dicker.”

He then accused Pelosi of overstepping boundaries, saying: “She’s the speaker of the House, not the speaker of the Senate.”

McConnell said the Senate will hold a cloture vote again at a time of his choosing, adding, “hopefully some adults will show up on the other side of the room and understand the gravity of the situation before the markets go down further…we’ve never been confronted by anything like this before.”

After Democrats blocked the vote, the National Republican Senatorial Committee [NRSC] released a statement accusing Pelosi, Schumer and Senate Democrats of “partisan fervor to thwart a critical coronavirus relief package while our country faces a crippling pandemic.”

Meanwhile, Americans who have been laid off or have had their jobs “suspended” are wondering how they are going to buy food for their families and pay their bills.

I can understand some concern about CEOs possibly taking advantage of this stimulus package to make themselves richer.

However, I never got a job from a poor man.

As the President stated in during the Coronavirus Taskforce Press Conference yesterday, his concern is that those who are separated from their jobs still have a company and a job to come back to after all this has ended.

Senate Majority Leader McConnell is right about one important thing: Once again, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has overstepped her boundaries as Speaker of the House in order to attempt to interfere with the operations of the Senate.

Just like during the failed impeachment of President Trump, Pelosi actually believes that she is in charge of the Senate, as well as the House of Representatives.

Her lust for power blew up in her face before when her attempt to impeach the President over nothing failed, and, God willing, she will fail again.

As I have previously written, Pelosi has already been caught attempting to place Abortion Funding within a Coronavirus Stimulus Bill.

Only God knows what her version of this “Third Phase” Bill will look like.

She will probably attempt to sell back the oil which President Trump bought from the Saudis dirt cheap, which has caused our gas prices to go way down.

Pelosi and Schumer’s hatred for President Trump is evidently their top priority.

Do not let their phony concern fool you.

They do not care about the wellbeing of average Americans, especially those of us between the coasts whom their last Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton, labeled as “Deplorables”.

And, speaking of Presidential Elections, if Pelosi and Schumer can somehow sabotage President Trump’s efforts against the Chinese Coronavirus, they will.

Any damage that they may cause to our Sovereign Nation by their actions, they will just chalk up to political expediency.

Over the next few days, Senator McConnell needs to one again demonstrate his skills as a Capitol Hill Veteran, as he did during Pelosi’s Sham Impeachment.

That was a matter of politics.

This is a matter of life and death.

“The Art of the Deal”: Closing Arguments Monday, SOTU Tuesday, Acquittal Wednesday

09-wasting-days-dt-600

“One of the problems when you become successful is that jealousy and envy inevitably follow. There are people—I categorize them as life’s losers—who get their sense of accomplishment and achievement from trying to stop others. As far as I’m concerned, if they had any real ability they wouldn’t be fighting me, they’d be doing something constructive themselves.” – Donald J. Trump, “The Art of the Deal”

FoxNews.com reports that

Republicans in the Senate secured enough votes Friday evening to reject Democratic efforts to extend the impeachment trial of President Trump and call new witnesses, paving the way for his widely expected acquittal next week on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress over his dealings with Ukraine.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said late Friday he expects to “conclude the trial in the coming days” as the Senate approved the framework to continue the trial on Monday, with a final up-or-down vote on Wednesday.

After hours of debate during the day on Friday, the Senate voted 51-49 to block a Democratic motion to call new witnesses. The vote came after vehement demands from Democrats to call former national security adviser John Bolton to testify about the Trump-Ukraine saga. Two Republicans — Utah Sen. Mitt Romney and Maine Sen. Susan Collins — voted with Democrats.

“A majority of the U.S. Senate has determined that the numerous witnesses and 28,000-plus pages of documents already in evidence are sufficient to judge the House Managers’ accusations and end this impeachment trial,” McConnell said after the vote.

Democrats decried the failure of the motion.

“America will remember this day, unfortunately, where the Senate did not live up to its responsibilities, where the Senate turned away from truth and went along with a sham trial,” said Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

Later on Friday evening, Senate Republicans voted down four amendments offered by Democrats to call Bolton and White House acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, among others. Chief Justice Roberts told Schumer before that vote series that he would not break ties in the Senate, after Democrats in recent days raised the possibility Roberts could possibly tip the scales for them during votes on amendments.

“I think it would be inappropriate for me, an unelected official from a different branch of government, to assert the power to change that result so that the motion would succeed,” Roberts told Schumer.

The vote on witnesses came as Trump was flying to Florida. A senior administration official aboard Air Force One said that the reaction to the Senate vote was “calm, but pleased.”

“Nothing like applause or cheering, but just a recognition that things are clearly going in the right direction,” the official said.

There will be no trial action over the weekend. The trial will resume Monday with closing arguments by the impeachment managers and defense counsel. Senators will have the opportunity to make speeches on Monday and Tuesday.

The final vote will come the same week as Iowa’s caucuses on Monday and the State of the Union address on Tuesday. A senior congressional source told Fox News that there has been no discussion about postponing the speech, as advance teams have been crawling all over the Capitol in preparation for Tuesday’s address.

Earlier Friday, it became apparent that Republicans had the votes to shut down any new witnesses from testifying in the trial, with Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, announcing they wouldn’t defect.

After the vote on witnesses, Trump drew attention to the number of witnesses during the House’s impeachment proceedings: “Democrats = 17 Witnesses. Republicans = 0 Witnesses.”

It came out late on Friday night that Senate Leader Mitch McConnell had talked to President Trump, who had given his okay to the timing of the final vote.

And, I can understand why he did: it’s perfect.

During the Closing Arguments on Monday, I have no doubt that Jay Sekulow and the Trump Defense Team will perform as flawlessly as they already have.

They have embarrassed the House Managers time and time again, making them look like a bunch of political hacks obsessed with removing a duly-elected President from office.

Which, of course, is exactly what they are.

After that drubbing on Monday, President Trump will address a Joint Session of Congress and deliver what promises to be a barnburner of a State of the Union Address.

One of my fellow writers at SpartaReport.com suggested that advertisers forget about the Super Bowl and buy time in the State of the Union instead.

It is going to be that good.

Who, in their right mind, can seriously argue against the accomplishments of President Donald J. Trump?

As one of his Presidential Reelection Campaign slogans says,

Promises Made. Promises Kept.

And, within that resides the very reason for the ongoing coup attempt by the Democrats to remove him from office.

Whoever they choose as their Presidential Candidate does not stand a chance of defeating President Trump this November…and they know it.

But, I digress…

After what is going to be the most matched State of the Union Address in history, the Impeachment Vote will happen at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

And, President Donald J. Trump will be acquitted.

In fact, I would not be surprised at all if some of the Democrats cross over to vote for his acquittal.

Especially, if they live in a Red State and they want to be reelected to the Senate.

Trump Defense Team: “This Entire Process is…a Dangerous Attack on the American People…and Their Right to Vote”…You’re Darn Skippy!

fine-print-cdn-600

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump’s legal team on Saturday issued a full-throttle defense to the articles of impeachment, refuting the substance and process of the charges while accusing House Democrats of engaging in a “dangerous attack” on the right of the American people to freely choose their president.

“This is a brazen and unlawful attempt to overturn the results of the 2016 election and interfere with the 2020 election — now just months away,” the legal filing said. “The highly partisan and reckless obsession with impeaching the president began the day he was inaugurated and continues to this day.”

“The articles of impeachment are constitutionally invalid on their face,” the seven-page filing continued.

The legal paperwork is the first formal response to the two articles of impeachment read in the Senate on Thursday for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Trump’s lawyers argued that the articles of impeachment “violate the Constitution” and are “defective in their entirety” because they were the product of invalid House proceedings that “flagrantly denied the President any due process rights.”

At the crux of Trump’s defense is that he did nothing wrong in his July 25 phone call with the president of Ukraine when he asked for investigations into Democrats. The White House argues that military aid to Ukraine was ultimately released without any announcement of investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

The lawyers contend House Democrats fail to allege any crime or violation of law whatsoever, let alone, high crimes or misdemeanors.

“In order to preserve our constitutional structure of government, to reject the poisonous partisanship that the Framers warned against, to ensure one-party political impeachment vendettas do not become the ‘new normal,’ and to vindicate the will of the American people, the Senate must reject both Articles of Impeachment,” Trump’s legal team wrote. “In the end, this entire process is nothing more than a dangerous attack on the American people themselves and their fundamental right to vote.”

Exactly right.

I can remember that night as if it was last night.

Every single news outlet had told us that Hillary Clinton was going to be our next President.

And, then it happened…

After average Americans started getting off work, Trump started winning the Electoral Vote in states where he was not supposed to have a chance.

And, when all the votes were counted, he took the Electoral College Vote handily and became the 45th President of the United States of America.

And, that night, in the midst of their shock, grief, and desperation, the Democratic Elite began their planning for the impeachment of President Donald J. Trump.

While their “Wokesheviks” staged protests, the Democrats came forward with claims that President Trump had “colluded” with the Russians in order to steal the Presidency from “Saint Hillary”.

A Special Prosecutor was named and after Democratic Donors were selected as his Investigative Team, Witch Hunt #1 began

Some two and one-half years later, that same Special Prosecutor, after ruling that there was no collusion by President Trump and his staff with the Russians, appeared before Congress to answer their questions.

He turned out to be nothing but a doddering old man.

Dejected, depressed, and still in the midst of a temper tantrum, the Democratic Elite searched for some other way to overturn the vote of the American people.

Then, they decided to attempt something they had recently tried in the Confirmation Hearings of Supreme Court Justice Nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

They lined up a bunch of professional bureaucrats serving in the Ukraine to claim that President Trump attempted to leverage aid to Ukraine in return for information about Joe and Hunter Biden’s scam involving Burisma Holdings.

Secret Soviet-style Tribunals were held by Rep. Adam Schiff in closed-door meetings.

Finally, in order to dupe low information voters into thinking that they were being fair, the Democrats brought back some of their witnesses for Public Hearings, during which the Republican members of the Intelligence Committee could ask questions but Chairman Schiff would determine which ones that he would let them answer.

The Republicans were not able to call their own witnesses nor was the President allowed to be represented.

What the Democrats did not count on was the fact that most Americans saw right through their actions and were not impressed.

Just like a child throwing a temper tantrum, the Far Left Democrats have been determined to impeach Trump since Election Night 2016, even though their House “Impeachment Inquiry” Hearings made it very clear by their own witnesses that he has done nothing impeachable.

When our Founding Fathers wrote our Constitution, they wrote it for ALL Americans.

They envisioned it as the glue which would hold together our Republic,

They came up with the process of Impeachment as a way to protect the nation from evil men who might usurp the power of the Executive Branch to commit “High Crimes and Misdemeanors”.

They did not place the process of Impeachment within our Constitution to be used as a Political Tool by one political party as a weapon of vengeance following a lost Presidential Election through which to nullify the Electoral Vote via usurping the power of a House Majority in order to overrule the right of Americans to choose our President.

It is imperative to securing our future as a free and Sovereign Republic that this Sham Impeachment is either dismissed as unconstitutional or that President Trump is acquitted of these unimpeachable charges made up by the House Democrats.

Average Americans will not tolerate anything else.

Pelosi Signs Articles of Impeachment Calling it Making “History”…It Was, But in a Way Our Founders Never Intended

IMPEACHMENT

FoxNews.com reports that

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., put her signature on the articles of impeachment brought against President Trump on Wednesday – setting up the trial that places the fate of Trump’s presidency in the hands of the Senate.

Pelosi, who signed the articles during an engrossment ceremony on Capitol Hill, criticized Trump’s actions, which she had jeopardized national security and violated his oath of office.

“So sad, so tragic for our country,” she said.

Pelosi added: “As we make history, we will be making progress for the American people. … Make it be very clear that this president will be held accountable and that no one is above the law.”

After Pelosi signed the articles of impeachment, she handed out the pens she used to the House managers and posed for photos with them.

Following the pomp and protocol of the engrossment ceremony, Clerk of the House Cheryl Johnson brought a note to the Senate floor notifying the upper chamber of Congress that Pelosi had signed the articles of impeachment and appointed the managers for the House.

House Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said that the Senate will meet with the House managers at noon on Thursday to officially receive the articles of impeachment.

Wednesday’s mostly partly-line House vote to deliver the charges was 228-193, reflecting the deeply divided nation at the start of this presidential election year. It came one month after the House impeached Trump alleging he abused his presidential power by pressuring Ukraine to investigate Democratic rival Joe Biden, using military aid to the country as leverage. Trump was also charged with obstructing Congress’ ensuing probe.

The Senate will transform itself into an impeachment court on Thursday. The Constitution calls on Chief Justice John Roberts to preside at the trial, administering the oath to senators who will serve as jurors and swear to deliver “impartial justice.” Opening arguments are to begin next Tuesday after the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The president’s team expects acquittal, with a Senate trial lasting no more than two weeks, according to senior administration officials unauthorized to discuss the matter and granted anonymity. That’s far shorter than the last presidential impeachment trial, of Bill Clinton, in 1999, or the first one, of Andrew Johnson, in 1868.

McConnell has said he prefers to model Trump’s trial partly on the process used for Clinton’s impeachment trial in 1999. It, too, contained motions for dismissal or calling new witnesses.

McConnell is hesitant to call new witnesses who would prolong the trial and put vulnerable senators who are up for reelection in 2020 in a bind with tough choices. At the same time, he wants to give those same senators ample room to show voters they are listening.

That earthquake which everyone felt across the country yesterday was our Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves.

For the first time in our nation’s history, our Legislative Branch is about to have a Senate “Trial” over Articles of Impeachment being brought against a President who is accomplishing every Campaign Promise he made, who is packing arenas from coast to coast when he speaks to average Americans, and who just eliminated an enemy of America who was directly responsible for killing over 600 of our Brightest and Best and had plans for more Islamic Terrorist Attacks.

Why is the 45th President of the United States of America being Impeached?

Because he, as a Washington Outsider, won the 2016 Presidential Election, spoiling the Far Left Democratic Party’s dream of making America a Democratic Socialist (i.e., Marxist) country.

The Democrats’ plan to impeach Donald J. Trump began on Election Night 2016, as they swore through their tears to somehow, someway, remove him from the office, which was “rightfully” their destiny.

Their problem was that even after spying on his campaign, they had no actual dirt against him.

So, they decided to dream up the Russian Collusion Fairy Tale, a lie which the Democrats spent billions of our money trying to “prove” to be reality.

That plan failed, as the Special Counsel, a doddering old man whom they chose as a figurehead to mask their dirty work, found that there was no collusion, no obstruction, no anything.

And now, after House Democrats held secret hearings in the basement of the Capitol Building, locking House Republicans out and limiting their participation, Americans will witness today the formal handing over their sacred “Articles of Impeachment” which are not even impeachable offenses, rising nowhere near the requirement of “high crimes and misdemeanors”.

Our Founders meant for Impeachment to be a partisan remedy for defending the nation from a President who had willingly committed a high crime or misdemeanor which severely damaged our Sovereign Nation.

The Democrats have turned the process of Impeachment a President into a Partisan Panacea to placate the hurt feelings of their Social Justice Warriors or, as I have named them, the Wokesheviks, while attempting to get President Trump out of their way so that they may win the Presidency in the 2020 Election.

In other words, if you can’t beat him, impeach him.

Thank God that it appears that the Senate is not going to let the House Democrats have their way.

Out here in Realityville, my fellow average Americans, otherwise known as “Deplorables”, have had their fill of Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, the Squad, and the rest of the cast of this remake of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.

They are enjoying a prosperous America.

And, they have no intention of giving it back to the Democrats.

Once President Trump is acquitted, Nancy and company are going to be the ones answering for THEIR actions…on November 3, 2020.

Republicans Introduce Resolution to Force Pelosi to Hand Over the Articles of Impeachment or Face Dismissal of Them

01-keep-digging-li-600

FoxNews.com reports that

Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri joined with a host of fellow Republicans Monday to introduce a resolution allowing the chamber to dismiss articles of impeachment against President Trump for lack of prosecution, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi delays sending the case for trial.

The resolution specifically would update Senate rules to allow the chamber to bring a motion dismissing the articles.

“In the real world, when a prosecutor brings a case but refuses to try it, the court has the ability and the defendant has the right – the constitutional right, I might add — to have those articles, those indictments, those charges dismissed,” Hawley said in a speech on the Senate floor. “That is precisely the action that I am proposing today.”

Hawley joined with co-sponsors Sens. Rick Scott of Florida; Mike Braun of Indiana; Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee; Ted Cruz of Texas; Steve Daines of Montana; John Barrasso of Wyoming; Tom Cotton of Arkansas; Joni Ernst of Iowa; David Perdue of Georgia; and Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma.

“Speaker Pelosi started this bogus impeachment by claiming President Trump was an urgent ‘threat to democracy’ who had to be removed now,” Hawley said in a statement Monday. “But after a bipartisan vote against the articles in the House, and with the public opposed to the Democrats’ partisan games, Pelosi has changed her tune. Now she wants to prevent a Senate trial, perhaps indefinitely. But the Constitution gives the Senate sole power to adjudicate articles of impeachment, not the House.”

He added: “If Speaker Pelosi is afraid to try her case, the articles should be dismissed for failure to prosecute and Congress should get back to doing the people’s business.”

The Senate currently has a set of 26 rules that govern all impeachment proceedings, which presume a “prompt delivery of the articles of impeachment to the Senate following their adoption by the House.”

But last month, the House voted to adopt two articles of impeachment against the president—abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Pelosi, after the vote, said she wanted reassurances that the Senate would hold a fair trial, involving certain Democrat-sought witnesses, before sending over the articles of the Senate to begin proceedings. Pelosi, who has been sitting on the articles of impeachment since before Christmas, has yet to transmit them to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Hawley’s resolution would allow the Senate to dismiss the articles of impeachment for lack of prosecution, once the House has withheld articles for 25 calendar days or more. Under the proposed rule, any senator would be able to move to dismiss the articles once the time period has elapsed. That motion would then be voted upon by the full Senate.

At this point, Pelosi has held the articles of impeachment for 19 days. The House voted to adopt the articles on Dec. 18, 2019.

“After three years of searching for a reason to impeach this president, Democrats in the House cannot seem to find the time to send over the articles of impeachment,” Blackburn said in a statement Monday. “If House Democrats are so confident in their findings, they ought to have no problem sending the articles over within a 25 day deadline.”

On Friday, McConnell spoke from the Senate floor, rejecting Pelosi’s efforts to shape a pending impeachment trial, calling it a “fantasy.”

“Their turn is over. They’ve done enough damage. It’s the Senate’s turn now to render sober judgment,” he said, while stressing that the Senate cannot hold a trial unless and until Pelosi transmits the two articles.

At the center of the inquiry is Trump’s efforts to press Ukraine to launch politically related investigations — regarding former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s dealings in Ukraine, as well as issues related to the 2016 presidential election.

The president’s request came after millions of dollars in U.S. military aid to Ukraine had been frozen, which Democrats argue shows a “quid pro quo” arrangement. Trump has denied any wrongdoing.

McConnell indicated that the Senate process is at a standstill for now, and accused the House of getting “cold feet.”

“The same people who spent weeks screaming that impeachment was so urgent … now decided it could wait indefinitely while they check the political winds and look for some new talking points,” he said.

Senator McConnell is right…but, it is more than that.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi wants to be in control of the Senate, too.

She wants them to do her dirty work for her,

It was the House’s job to build a case against President Trump in order to Impeach him.

Not only did they not produce any direct witnesses, the “articles of Impeachment which they passed are not even “high crimes and misdemeanors”.

So, now, Chuck U. Schumer is on the Senate Floor insisting that THEY have a right to a “fair” Trial. “Fair” in this case meaning that witnesses who might tell the same lies as the House Democrats’ witnesses did “MUST” be called to appear.

McConnell has already said that Pelosi is not in charge of the Senate.

But, don’t tell her that.

Ever since she got her gavel back, she has believed in her demented little mind that SHE is the Commander-in-Chief and is in charge of America’s Domestic and Foreign Policy…not President Donald J. Trump.

The truth is, our brilliant Founding Fathers set6 up our Constitutional Republic’s three branches of government to be loosely based on England’s Parliament.

The Senate is the “Upper House”, like England’s House of Lords. The House of Representatives is the “Lower House” like the House of Commons.

So, Pelosi’s power is NOT equal to power of the President of the United States.

Not anywhere close.

Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Nadler, the Squad, and the rest of the Far Left Democrats are the most ignorant, arrogant bunch of scallywags to work within our Federal Government since the Carpetbaggers came south after the “War of Northern Aggression”.

By pushing through the “shampeachment” Pelosi has escalated the Dems’ War against Trump and placed The Democrats in an untenable position, politically.

Pelosi and company know that Impeachment will fail in the Senate.

And that failure will ensure their failure to regain the presidency in 2020.

That is why she is holding onto the articles in a desperate attempt to gain leverage in order to attempt to railroad President Trump…again.

If they stop their crusade to take Trump down, they will still look foolish, having wasted so much time and taxpayers’ money.

Right now, as I sit here in my Man Cave, the election is already shaping up to be a repeat of 2016 with arrogantly oblivious Democrats in the Beltway and on the coasts, believing that average Americans living in the states between them in the Heartland are actually buying the BS that they are shoveling.

These average Americans, or “Deplorables” as Hillary called them, are solidly backing the president, as they see their paychecks increasing along with their opportunities to seek a better job.

They also see and hear Trump speaking to them at his MAGA Rallies in the same manner and way in which they talk to one another: down to earth, straight forward, from the heart, easily understood, and with some great laughs thrown in for good measure.

At this juncture, it is very evident that President Trump is working hard to help Americans and our nation prosper.

All the Democrats are doing is trying to overturn the 2016 Presidential Election because Trump hurt their feelings by getting elected President.

And that, gentle readers, is not a winning Political Platform through which to win back a presidency.

Schumer Sends McConnell “Parameters” For Senate Trial…It’s Time to Shut Down the Dems Either By Dismissal or Acquittal

untitled (286)

FoxNews.com reports that

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., on Sunday sent Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., a letter outlining the parameters for a weekslong Senate impeachment trial, including the proposal that former National Security Adviser John Bolton and acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney be subpoenaed to testify.

Bolton and Mulvaney were among four new witnesses whose testimonies Democrats were seeking for the impeachment trial over President Trump’s actions toward Ukraine.

In the letter, Schumer proposed the structure for a “fair and honest” trial, in an attempt to launch negotiations ahead of House voting this week.

Trump is accused of abusing his presidential power by asking Ukraine to investigate his political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden, while holding American military aid as leverage, and obstructing Congress by blocking the House’s efforts to investigate his actions. Trump and the White House repeatedly have denied he did anything wrong.

An impeachment vote is widely expected in the Democrat-controlled House, but likely will be quashed in the Senate, where Republicans have held the majority. McConnell has signaled his preference for a speedy trial.

Schumer wrote in his letter that the trial must “be one that not only hears all of the evidence and adjudicates the case fairly; it must also pass the fairness test with the American people.”

Schumer also proposed a detailed structure and timeline for a trial to begin Jan. 7, with the swearing-in of Chief Justice John Roberts to oversee the proceedings and stretching for several weeks as Democrats subpoena witnesses and testimony.

A recent book claimed that Bolton labeled the alternative foreign policy being run by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and others as a “drug deal,” and he wanted no part of it. He left his post in September.

In addition to Bolton and Mulvaney, Schumer said Democrats also wanted testimony from two other White House officials: Robert Blair, a top Mulvaney aide, and Michael Duffey, a budget official who was tasked with handling the Ukraine issue.

Schumer additionally set out a specific schedule that would allow for 24 hours of opening arguments by the House Democrats’ impeachment managers and then 24 hours for the White House lawyers to present their arguments, followed by days of witness testimony.

A spokesman for McConnell told Fox News that the Senate majority leader “has made it clear he plans to meet with Leader Schumer to discuss the contours of a trial soon. That timeline has not changed.”

McConnell has made clear in recent days his preference for a speedy trial without calling witnesses, as other Republicans said they feared it could become a spectacle.

Appearing on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” Sunday, top ally Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said he also preferred a swift trial.

“I’d tell the president, if somebody is ready to acquit you, I’d sort of get out of the way,” Graham said. He warned that calling witnesses could mean that Trump administration officials such as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, whom the White House previously blocked from appearing before investigators, could be forced to testify.

“I understand the president’s frustration, but I think what’s best for the country is to get this thing over with,” Graham said. “I clearly made up my mind. I’m not trying to hide the fact that I have disdain for the accusations in the process, so I don’t need any witnesses.”

Trump has lashed out repeatedly against impeachment and has told confidants that even if he’s acquitted in the Senate as expected, it will mark a stain on his legacy.

“The Impeachment Hoax is just a continuation of the Witch Hunt which has been going on for 3 years. We will win!” Trump tweeted Sunday.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said Sunday on ABC News’ “This Week” that Trump should be able to call witnesses, including Biden’s son Hunter and the whistleblower who reported Trump’s July telephone conversation with Ukraine’s president.

Hunter Biden was on the board of a Ukrainian energy company while his father was vice president, and Trump has alleged that Joe Biden got a Ukrainian prosecutor fired because the prosecutor was looking into the energy company. The U.S. and many other Western governments had pushed for the prosecutor’s ouster, saying he was soft on crime.

McConnell and the rest of the Senate Republicans should not do the Democrats any favors.

If there was a way for only the Republicans to be able to call witnesses during the Senate Trial, I would love for Rep. Adam Schiff and the Bidens to be sworn in and be made to answer questions about Ukraine and the Impeachment Sham.

However, there is a part of me that wants this whole Crazy Train of the Democrats derailed by a quick dismissal or acquittal, giving them no chance to continue their mockery of our country, our Constitution, and our right as American Citizens to choose whom we want to be our President through the Constitutional Process of the Electoral College.

In my 61 years of life, I have never seen this Sacred Land so divided.

And, the kicker is the fact that it has been irresponsibly done for the sole purpose of a political party seeking to rule our daily lives and to radically change our Sovereign Nation, even though they lost the last Presidential Election fair and square.

These power-hungry professional politicians simply do not care about the wishes of those who live in the 80% of America’s land mass which is colored red on the 2016 Presidential Election Electoral Map.

Our wishes, our culture, our faith, and our daily lives do not matter to them.

Their unbridled hatred of President Trump and their lust to regain the power of the Presidency have made them oblivious to the opinions of anyone who does not believe in their “just cause”

We are all a bunch of “Deplorables” to them.

All of the spying, the baseless accusations, the Russia Probe Lynch Mob, and now, the Impeachment Sham, have all been a byproduct of the Democrat’s arrogant uncontrollable grief over Trump’s popularity and relationship with average Americans, which led to his election by those whom they abandoned long ago for special interest groups.

Between now and their Christmas Break, the Senate Republicans must stomp on the Democrats hard enough to where they will think twice about attempting any of this garbage again.

The Democrats have wasted the time and money of American Taxpayers while they threw a three year long temper tantrum like a bunch of spoiled brats.

And, while they were doing nothing but that, President Trump was making America great again.

It is time that the Democrats had a Reality Check.

Until He Comes,

McConnell: There is “Zero Chance” That the President Will Be Removed From Office

o_MCCONNELL_PAUL_facebook

It’s about time to go on offense with this. Your president didn’t do it. Your president is not guilty. They don’t have a shred of evidence. They don’t have one bit of evidence. They never have had, on any of the allegations they’ve made. So I’m begging you people in the Senate, do not go into this defensive at all. Do not go into this trying to limit the criticism. Do not go into this hoping that they will think what you’ve done is fair.

They’re incapable of being aboveboard and honest about this. You are going to be accused of hatemongering like you are every day no matter what you do here. So the focus needs to be on the result that is the most hurtful and damaging to them and at the same time most helpful to Trump and the Republican Party ’cause this is political. This is a pure political move. – Rush Limbaugh, 12/12/19

FoxNews,comFoxNews,com reports that

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., told Fox News Thursday night that he will coordinate the defense of President Trump in any impeachment trial with White House lawyers, and proclaimed that there was “zero chance” the president would be removed from office.

“The case is so darn weak coming over from the House. We all know how it’s going to end,” McConnell said on “Hannity” “There is no chance the president is going to be removed from office.”

McConnell also said he hoped that none of the members of his caucus would vote to remove the president from office, adding “it wouldn’t surprise me if we got one or two Democrats” to vote to acquit Trump of the charges of high crimes and misdemeanors.

He explained that the articles of impeachment would be different from ordinary legislation that makes its way from the Senate to the House, in that: “We have no choice but to take it up. But we’ll be working through this process hopefully in a fairly short period of time, in total coordination with the White House counsel’s office and the people who are representing the president, in the way all of the Senate.”

McConnell spoke as the House Judiciary Committee prepared to vote to send two articles of impeachment to the full House of Representatives following a marathon hearing in which seemingly no topic — from Hunter Biden’s rampant drug use to a Republican congressman’s past drunken-driving arrest — was off-limits.

It remained unclear how long the markup would last, although Fox News is told it could go until well after midnight ET.

The majority leader declined to elaborate on what a Senate trial might look like or whether Republicans would call witnesses such as former Vice President Joe Biden, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., or the intelligence community whistleblower whose complaint about Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky touched off the impeachment inquiry.

“I’m going to take my cues from the president’s lawyers,” said McConnell, who added that a trial would likely take place early next year if the House voted to impeach Trump before its members went home for the holidays.

“My hope is that it will be a shorter process rather than a long, lengthy process.”

So, you have McConnell saying that there will be a trial and there will be witnesses if the President and his counsel want to call them

Lindsey Graham said yesterday that he wans to just dismiss the Impeachment and get it over with for the country’s sake.

Uh huh.

Senator Graham has been showing a lot of spunk since the passing of Sen. John McCain, his mentor.

I’m wondering if Sen. Graham does not want to go through a trial because, having been in the Senate for several years, some of his friends across the aisle may be connected to shady deals in the Ukraine just like the Bidens are.

Sleepy Joe has already boasted that he would not honor a subpoena to testify in an Impeachment Trial in the Senate.

Fat chance of that.

That is going to be a “Command Performance”.

Yesterday, you could hear the House Democrats in the Judiciary Committee’s Sphincters slam shut when Rep. Matt Gaetz brought up Hunter Biden’s drug abuse.

They all know that Hunter and his Dad are the keys to exposing a huge scandal involving the Democrats and Ukraine.

One of President Trump’s Campaign Promises was to “clean out the Swamp” in Washington.

All of the actions taken by the Democratic Establishment and the Deep State against Candidate and President Trump to stop him from winning the Presidency and then to end his Presidency were because of the Dems’ hatred for him which is based in fear.

The Democrats are deathly afraid that their unmitigated corruption involving the way that they have become millionaires while in office will be exposed for every American to see.

It has not just been through “investments”, like Nancy Pelosi and her husband’s real estate dealings in California.

Like in the case of The Clinton Foundation Pay for Play Operation and the Biden Burisma Scandal, some of it has involved our Foreign Policy.

And, that puts the entire nation at risk and it MUST be addressed.

Until He Comes,

KJ
