Biden to Force Companies to Vaccinate and Then Test Employees Weekly: “This is Not About Freedom or Personal Choice”…Really?

President Joe Biden formally announced his plan to force companies with more than 100 employees to vaccinate workers against the coronavirus or test them weekly and dismissed concerns about encroaching on personal freedoms.

“This is not about freedom or personal choice,” Biden said during a Thursday address to the nation. “It’s about protecting yourself and those around you, the people you work with, the people you care about, the people you love. My job as president is to protect all Americans.”

In his speech, Biden expressed frustration with unvaccinated Americans multiple times and said that he “understands” the “anger” that the vaccinated have against those who have not taken the vaccine.

“We’ve been patient but our patience is wearing thin and your refusal has cost all of us,” Biden told the tens of millions of unvaccinated people in the country.

“Many of us are frustrated with the nearly 80 million Americans who are still not vaccinated, even though the vaccine is safe, effective and free,” Biden added. “You might be confused about what is true and what is false about COVID-19.”

The president also pointed a finger at Republican officials across the country who have opposed mask and vaccine mandates.

“We have the tools to combat COVID-19, and a distinct minority of Americans, supported by a distinct minority of elected officials, are keeping us from turning the corner,” Biden said. “These pandemic politics are making people sick, causing unvaccinated people to die.”

The president urged parents of children 12 and older to get vaccinated.

“They get vaccinated for a lot of things. That’s it. Get them vaccinated.”

Biden officially confirmed that he has instructed the Department of Labor to mandate employers with over 100 workers to either vaccinate them or force them to test for the virus weekly.

The rule could affect up to 100 million workers and will also levy substantial fines, up to $14,000 per infraction, against companies that refuse to comply.

In addition to the vaccination requirements, Biden is moving to double federal fines for airline passengers who refuse to wear masks on flights or to maintain face-covering requirements on federal property in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

The rule would also require that large companies provide paid time off for vaccination.

So, Biden has made his pivot…not from Afghanistan to COVID-19…but from coward to tyrant.

There is a slight hitch to  the Puppet President’s Pronouncement…

…the broad powers held by states to control vaccine policy can also be used by state governments to block vaccine mandates, in certain situations, at lower government levels and in the private sector. As of August 2, at least 14 states had enacted Covid-19 related laws that barred employer vaccine mandates, school vaccine mandates, or vaccine passports.

At a federal level, the vaccine mandate question is more complicated. With few exceptions, the CRS (Congressional Research Service) says there are no laws that allow the federal government to issue a vaccine mandate to the general population. These exceptions include requiring proof of vaccination for immigrants requesting permanent resident status and vaccine mandates for military service members—allowing for certain exemptions. 

Today, you are probably hearing about the Supreme Court Case of 11905, in which the Supreme court ruled that a local government in Massachusetts could mandate that members of a community be vaccinated, However, this was not a ruling in favor of a FORCED vaccination. If you chose not to take it, you were fined the equivalent of $150 in today’s money.

What Biden, in despotic fashion, read off his teleprompter yesterday, was a violation of3 not only state rights, but the rights of Americans and Private Business Owners to make their own decisions about their health and the way they operate their businesses.

Biden is not only overstepping his authority…he is goose-stepping over it.

From his decision to leave Americans behind in Afghanistan to be tortured and killed by the Taliban to he totalitarian and, quite frankly, fascist speech, yesterday, Biden has proven that he and his Handlers are exactly what they accused Donald J. Trump of being .

Even as the fence is being rebuilt around the Capitol of our Country, an attempt to install a totalitarian government is now in full swing.

The three things that might possibly save this Sovereign Nation from becoming just another failed Marxist oligarchy are our Constitution, our Governmental System of Checks and Balances, and our Traditional Faith and Values System which has allowed this “Land of Liberty” to exist for all these years.

It is time for average Americans to stand up and be heard.

Remember, Liberty is freedom with responsibility.

“Marie Antoinette” Pelosi on Americans Pushing Back Against Overstepping Governors: “It’s Really Unfortunate”

In her first interview on “Fox News Sunday” since 2017, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., spoke to anchor Chris Wallace about the coronavirus pandemic and its effect on Americans.

“People are taking to the streets, pushing back against some of the more stringent restrictions in some states,” Wallace said during the interview, which is set to air Sunday on Fox News Channel. “Can you understand why they’re doing that?”

Pelosi responded: “No, not, not really because what we have to do is, is, is shelter in place. That is really the answer.”

“Testing. Tracing. Treatment. Shelter in place. And I do think that it’s unfortunate,” Pelosi told Wallace. “But, you know, people will do what they do. But the fact is, we’re all impatient. We all want out. But what they’re doing is really unfortunate.”

Around 22 million people filed for unemployment over the past month. Only essential businesses have remained open and operational during the various stay-at-home orders across the country, leaving many without work.

Protests have taken place across the U.S. the past week and on Saturday, with residents in several states calling for an end to respective stay-at-home orders.

“Really Unfortunate”.

Translation: “How dare the peasants revolt! They are interrupting my vacation and my time with my precious ice cream!”

In case you didn’t hear, Pelosi has announced that she will not be returning to Capitol Hill until May 1st.

The word “delusional” does not even begin to cover San Fran Nan’s s Superiority Complex and her tone-deafness when it comes to average Americans’ wishes.

Nancy Pelosi’s station in life defies logic.

As she has shown us for decades and this week especially, she has to be the most tone deaf aristocrat since Marie Antoinette, who, when supposedly asked about the starving rabble in France, quipped,

Let them eat cake!

For her to completely brush off the plight of America’s small business owners and employees and the overstepping of authority by Democratic Governors which has brought about these protests, does not just “strain” credulity…it stomps that sucker flat.

There are two possibilities for Pelosi’s miss judgment of the American People:

  1. She has been so sheltered from us “rabble” during all of those years up on Capitol Hill, that she simply is clueless to the daily lives of average Americans and how we feel on the issues of the day. Or…
  2. She, like the future Presidential Candidate of her political Party, Joe Biden, is a victim of galloping dementia.

The brilliant Conservative Economist, Dr. Thomas Sowell once wrote,

…Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the world envisioned by today’s liberals is that it is a world where other people just passively accept whatever “change” liberals impose. In the world of Liberal Land, you can just take for granted all the benefits of the existing society, and then simply tack on your new, wonderful ideas that will make things better.

Pelosi and her compatriots are holding up giving additional money to America’s small businesses to leverage for add-ons to the bill which will strictly be political pork to the Democrats’ handpicked special interest groups and these add-ons will have nothing to do with the Chinese Coronavirus.

Like the money they added to the Stimulus Package for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Liberal Ideas always cost taxpayer money…and they never make things better for the average American.

President Ronald Reagan once famously said,

It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.

A quotation which also helps to explain Pelosi’s gross overestimation of the popularity of Liberal Ideals among Average Americans here in “Flyover Country”.

Pelosi’s continued denial of the fact that Americans rejected the political ideology of the Democrats and voted for change in the 2016 Presidential Election appears to be a part of an alternative reality that she and the rest of the “Special Snowflakes” who voted for Hillary Clinton and who compose the Far Left Base of the Modern Democratic Party, have transformed themselves into, considering all they have done during the past almost 3 and I/2 years since the election is to try to damage President Donald J. Trump and remove him from office by any means necessary.

The pain of their frustration is so immense over Clinton’s loss that they have created a reality in which Clinton actually beat Trump, one in which their embracing of the tenets of Marxism has won the hearts and minds of the American People.

Their undersized medulla oblongotas and oversized craniums will not allow them to accept the fact that Americans completely rejected their candidate, Hillary Clinton, and their Political Ideology on that fateful day in November.

So, they have retreated to that alternative reality, where they can feed and ride their unicorns somewhere over the rainbow and where they will find rest in their “Safe Space”.

And, if “Marie Antoinette” Pelosi and all of her cronies want to remain “sheltered in place”, let them stay there.

Average Americans want to get back to their jobs so that they can provide for their families.

Average Americans’ individual freedom means more to them than Pelosi’s room-sized freezer full of ice cream means to her.

The time to “Reopen America’s Economy Again” is at hand.

Her and her fellow members of the Democratic Elite can either help or shut up and get out of the way.

With Freedom Comes Responsibility

americaneagleflagHave you ever thought about what it truly means to be free?

Does “Freedom” mean that you can run naked down the street and then through a playground of young children? Does it mean that you can marry a 9 year old? Does it mean that you can smoke a lid of marijuana, go out and get in your car, have an accident, and maim or kill somebody?

Outside Independence Hall when the Constitutional Convention of 1787 ended, Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

What did he mean by that? Was he merely speaking of the inner workings of the Federal Government, which he and the Founding Fathers so masterfully designed?

Or, was he talking about this complex matter known as American Freedom?

Ronald Reagan said,

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.

Was Ronaldus Magnus speaking about our Freedom as a nation? Or, the freedom of the individual?

The answer is yes. Both.

President Reagan knew how fragile this precious thing called freedom is. So did Dr. Franklin.

Dr. Franklin, along with our other Founding Fathers, pledged his life, his fortune, and his sacred honor in pursuit of it.

When he made that now-famous quote to Mrs. Powel, he was expressing his worry that seceding generations, having attained their freedom so easily, might grow lackadaisical and so spoiled by it, that they would squander it through self-indulgence. Franklin was, in fact, so leery of losing this new republic that he said,

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

He was afraid that Americans would rely and trust those in power over them to the extent that they would surrender their freedom to them.

Sound familiar? Does the phrase “gun control” ring a bell?

I know that it is a phrase which you have no doubt heard before, but, as I write this blog, we are closer to losing this fragile American Freedom, than we have been since my parent’s generation, known as “the Greatest Generation”.

Please allow me to relate to you a story about my Daddy (a Southern colloquialism denoting a male parental unit), an average young man, tossed into a situation beyond his wildest imagination. One of those “fight or flight situations” all the psychiatrists like to theorize about in the Halls of Academia.  However, this was no theory. This situation was as real as it gets:

By the time the sun set on June 6, 1944,more than 9,000 Allied soldiers were dead or wounded, and more than 100,000 had made it ashore, capturing French coastal villages. Within weeks, supplies were being unloaded at Utah and Omaha beachheads at the rate of more than 20,000 tons per day. By June 11, more than 326,000 troops, 55,000 vehicles, and 105,000 tons of supplies had been landed on the beaches. By June 30, the Allies had established a firm foothold in Normandy. Allied forces crossed the River Seine on August 19.

There has never been an exact count of the sacrifices made on D-Day. Although, it is estimated that more than 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded, or went missing during the battle. 209,000 of those who lost their lives were Allied forces.

Among the young men who stepped off those boats, in a hail of gunfire, was a fellow named Edward, whom everyone called Ned, from the small town of Helena, Arkansas.  Already in his young life, Ned had been forced to drop out of school in the sixth grade, in order to work at the local movie theater to help support his mother, brother, and sister faced with the ravages of the Great Depression.

He was a gentle man who loved to laugh and sing, having recorded several 78 rpm records in the do-it-yourself booths of the day. And now, he found himself, a Master Sergeant in an Army Engineering Unit, stepping off of a boat into the unknown, watching his comrades being mercilessly gunned down around him.

Ned, along with the rest of his unit who survived the initial assault, would go on to assist in the cleaning out of the Concentration Camps, bearing witness to man’s inhumanity to man.

The horrors he saw had a profound effect on Ned.  One that he would keep to himself for the remainder of his life.  While my older sisters and I knew that he served with an Engineering Unit in World War II, we did not know the full extent of his service, until we found his medal, honoring his participation in the Invasion of Normandy, going through his belongings after he passed away on December 29, 1997.

There are a number of Americans nowadays who seem to believe that “Freedom” is merely a personal thing, a state which is unaffected by any unethical, immoral, or irresponsible actions committed by those around them, including family, friends, or strangers. They, in turn, seem oblivious of their responsibility to other Americans, as we all attempt to protect and nurture this fragile thing we call “Freedom”.

Our Legacy of Freedom, bequeathed to us as American citizens, is not  just the blessing of being a free people, but, the responsibility that goes with it, as my Daddy knew all too well…

a responsibility to our family, our friends, our fellow citizens, and the Author of Our Freedom as Americans, Our Creator.

A responsibility that is our charge to keep.
