Hattiesburg, Baltimore, and Subway

AFBrancoFallen12272014Those of us living here in the State of Mississippi are mourning the deaths of two of our Finest.

The New York Times reports that

Law enforcement officials in Mississippi said Sunday that they had arrested four people after the fatal shooting of two police officers in Hattiesburg, and that two of the suspects had been charged with capital murder.

The officers were shot about 8 p.m. Saturday during a traffic stop, the police said. They were taken to Forrest General Hospital, where they died shortly after their arrival.

The Forrest County coroner, Butch Benedict, identified the officers as Benjamin Deen, 34, a K-9 officer, and Liquori Tate, 25, a 2014 graduate of the police academy. One of their police cars was stolen after the shooting and was found abandoned a few blocks away, investigators said.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety announced on Sunday that Marvin Banks, 29, and Joanie Calloway, 22, had each been charged with two counts of capital murder, and that Mr. Banks’s brother, Curtis Banks, 26, had been charged with two counts of accessory after the fact of capital murder. At a news conference on Sunday afternoon, the mayor of Hattiesburg, Johnny L. DuPree, said a fourth suspect had been arrested. He was identified as Cornelius Clark, 28. Officials said Mr. Clark, who was charged with obstruction of justice, had been a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

“We were able to catch these individuals and keep our promise to the officers’ families with the public’s help,” Mr. DuPree said at the news conference. “No parent wants to bury their child before them,” the mayor added. “And here we are on Mother’s Day. It’s a tragedy for all America. It’s a tragedy for our community.”

A spokesman for the Hattiesburg Police Department, Lt. Jon Traxler, said that both brothers are residents of Hattiesburg, and that each had been convicted of felony drug and weapons charges.

The shooting was still being investigated Sunday, and the authorities could provide only limited details. The fatal encounter began in an industrial area when Officer Deen pulled over a motorist for speeding, officials said. Ms. Calloway was in the driver’s seat and that Marvin Banks was a passenger, said Warren Strain, a spokesman for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.

Officer Tate arrived after Officer Deen radioed for backup, and they put a call out for more help just before shots were fired from the stopped vehicle, Mr. DuPree said.

The suspects fled after the shooting, Mr. Strain said — Ms. Calloway in the vehicle that was stopped and Mr. Banks in one of the police cruisers.

In addition to the capital murder charges, Marvin Banks was charged with one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and with grand theft.

The New York Post reports that

A suspected Subway sandwich store employee has sparked outrage with tasteless social media posts celebrating Saturday’s killing of two Mississippi cops.

“2 police officers was shot in hattiesburg tonight.!” cheered Sierra “C-Babi” Mccurdy, in a message posted overnight.

“We can turn this bxtch into Baltimore real quick,” she posted on Facebook. “Police take away innocent people lives everyday now & get away w/ it, fxck them…[no mercy].”

Twitter users expressed outrage at her remarks — and that the sandwich giant would have a person like that working for them.

“Wow. This piece of trash was celebrating the death of two policeman in Hattiesburg. Your [employee], @Subway,” one person tweeted.

Hattiesburg police officers Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, were gunned down in the line of duty during a routine traffic stop Saturday night.

The Washington Post published the following paragraphs in an article posted on August 29, 2014.

An average person cannot comprehend the risks and has no true understanding of a cop’s job. Hollywood and television stereotypes of the police are cartoons in which fearless super cops singlehandedly defeat dozens of thugs, shooting guns out of their hands. Real life is different. An average cop is always concerned with his or her safety and tries to control every encounter. That is how we are trained. While most citizens are courteous and law abiding, the subset of people we generally interact with everyday are not the genteel types. You don’t know what is in my mind when I stop you. Did I just get a radio call of a shooting moments ago? Am I looking for a murderer or an armed fugitive? For you, this might be a “simple” traffic stop, for me each traffic stop is a potentially dangerous encounter. Show some empathy for an officer’s safety concerns. Don’t make our job more difficult than it already is.

Community members deserve courtesy, respect and professionalism from their officers. Every person stopped by a cop should feel safe instead of feeling that their wellbeing is in jeopardy. Shouldn’t the community members extend the same courtesy to their officers and project that the officer’s safety is not threatened by their actions? – Sunil Dutta, Ph.D., is a 17-year-veteran police officer in Los Angeles. His book, “Blood Lines: the Imperial Roots of Terrorism in South Asia,” was released in February, 2015.

Somehow, America’s Professional Race-Baiters, from the Community Organizer-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, on down, have twisted the the facts and jumped to conclusions, refusing America’s Law Enforcement Officers’ their Due Process and, instead, immediately assuming that it was their fault that three thugs got themselves killed in altercations with police officers.

And, now. at least one person with no hope training is actually cheering the fact to two innocent Police Officers in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, were gunned down in cold blood.

What ever happened to personal responsibility?

President Ronald Reagan once said,

There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect.

Compare it to these words:

It’s not to make excuses for that fact — although black folks do interpret the reasons for that in a historical context. They understand that some of the violence that takes place in poor black neighborhoods around the country is born out of a very violent past in this country, and that the poverty and dysfunction that we see in those communities can be traced to a very difficult history. – President Barack Hussein Obama, 7/19/2014

President Obama, for his own political reasons, reinforces, at every opportunity, the self-fulfilling prophecy that the Black Community is still shackled and limited in their freedom.

Which is an ironic statement, considering, as a Black man, that he presently holds the position of President of the most powerful country on the face of the Earth.

On November 25th,2014, The Daily Caller reported that

Retired neurosurgeon and potential GOP 2016 candidate Ben Carson believes race relations in America, as a whole, have “gotten worse” under President Barack Obama’s leadership, saying he should take a ”balanced, objective look at things” instead of invoking the race card.

Carson made the comments to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt Tuesday night.

“I actually believe that things were better before this president was elected,” Carson told Hewitt, “and I think that things have gotten worse because of his unusual emphasis on race.”

“Can you explain more? What do you mean by that?” asked Hewitt. “How did they get worse, and how did he contribute to it?”

“Well, for instance, in the incident with Henry Louis Gates, Skip Gates and him calling out the police, and you know, how they always do this kind of thing, and the Trayvon Martin case, you know, if I had a son, this is what he would look like, rather than trying to take the balanced, objective look at things, and then, you know, what’s happened here,” responded Carson.

“And then the way, which really irritates me to some degree, the way he and a bunch of progressives manipulate, particularly minority communities, to make them feel that they are victims. And of course if you think you’re a victim, you are a victim,” Carson continued.

Back in High School, during the 1974-1975 school year, I was a Sophomore Commissioner on the Student Council with a fellow named James. James was one of those students who were bused to our school. He went on to play football and run track. More importantly, James went on to have a 4.5 GPA, make a 32 on his ACT, and receive a full scholarship to Harvard, and later, went on to Johns Hopkins Medical School. James worked hard and he achieved.

Millions of other Black Americans have, as well.

The current race-baiting and racially-based pandering by the President, his Administration, and all those who profit from it, locally and nationally, dishonors those who have achieved and has constrained those who might otherwise achieve.

The ignorant young Subway Worker in Mississippi, who, by the way, was fired for her stupidity, is just one example.

It needs to stop. Now.

Latest “Social Media Challenge”: Desecrating OUR FLAG!

americaneagleflagIt is the night of September 13, 1814.  The British fleet are bombarding Fort McHenry in the harbor at Baltimore, Maryland. Francis Scott Key, a 34-year old lawyer-poet, is watching the attack from the deck of a British prisoner-exchange ship. Key had gone seeking the release of a friend. They were told that they had to remain aboard the vessel until the end of the attack. When the battle was over, the following morning, Key had his telescope on the fort and saw the American flag was still waving. The sight of the tattered Stars and Stripes was so moving that he pulled a letter from his pocket and began to write the poem. This poem eventually became the national anthem of the United States – “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’ the perilous fight’
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming.
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

It does, sir. Regardless of a bunch of little snot-nosed, ungrateful punks.

Examiner.com reports that

A social media challenge asks people to make videos of themselves desecrating the U.S. flag and post them online, Shawn Bevans reported at the Independent Journal Review on Thursday. The challenge is supposedly in honor of Eric Sheppard, a Valdosta State University student wanted in Georgia after his gun was reportedly found on campus during a series of protests.

Sheppard, Campus Reform said, is a member of the radical New Black Panther Party and describes himself as a terrorist against white people. Sheppard was part of a protest that involved stomping on the flag. The flag was rescued by Michelle Manhart, a female veteran of the United States Air Force, who was detained after securing the banner.

Sheppard’s father has asked that he turn himself in to authorities. But, Campus Reform said, some have decided to show their support with a social media movement that includes videos and photos posted to Facebook and Instagram.

It has also made the rounds on Twitter, angering a number of people. Some of those posting on the social media site posted pictures of protesters defecating on the flag.

“I dare someone to try the #EricSheppardChallenge in front of me,” one person said Saturday. “I will leave you bloody on the ground. Have some respect.”

“The #EricSheppardChallenge is offensive, disrespectful, and illegal,” another person said. “Sooo…rioting and looting didn’t get America to side with you, but you think stepping on the flag will?” another Twitter user asked.

The challenge also has its supporters. One person, for example, said “there are genuinely american’s (sic) angrier at the desecration of a piece of material than the loss of black lives.”

In a video posted to her public Facebook page, activist Erica Walker dances on a flag laying on the ground after issuing a profanity-laced message. “F**k yo flag,” she says in the video, Campus Reform added. Walker also provided an “out” for those who do not want to desecrate the flag.

“If you don’t want to do the ‪#‎EricSheppardChallenge‬, fine, then donate $100 to a homeless veteran,” she said on Facebook. “There’s plenty of them in Atlanta and all across America, thanks to the failed VA department.”

“According to her LinkedIn page, Walker is a radio talk show host and is currently employed at the Ryan Cameron Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to empower high school students in the Atlanta area,” Campus Reform said. “She was previously employed at CBS Atlanta.”

So where does this disrespect for Old Glory come from?

It starts at the top.

Let’s go back to 9/13/11, 2 days after America solemnly remembered the 10th anniversary of the worst attack ever on American soil by Islamic Terrorists.  James Robbins wrote the following story for The Washington Times, in which he illuminated a whispered conversation between the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, and First Lady, Michelle Obama:

The internet was buzzing this week with video of First Lady Michelle Obama apparently showing extreme disrespect to the American flag at a ceremony in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. As police and firefighters fold the flag to the sound of marching bagpipers, a skeptical looking Mrs. Obama leans to her husband and appears to say, “all this just for a flag.” She then purses her lips and shakes her head slightly as Mr. Obama nods.

And, it filters to the home.

Back in the 60s, President Lyndon Johnson (whose big hand I once shook, at his ranch, as a little boy, after his presidential term) and the Democrats, brought forth a plan, called “the Great Society”. It was decided, in order to ensure that everyone would have an equal opportunity in America, that Uncle Sugar would step in to fill in the gaps.

Two seminal pieces of legislation were passed.

First, the Civil Rights Bill that JFK promised to sign, before his assassination, was passed into law. This Act banned discrimination based on race and gender in employment and ending segregation in all public facilities.

It also helped to cement in stone, minorities’ loyalty to the Democratic Party, which continues to this day.

The second bill that LBJ signed into law was the sweeping ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY ACT OF 1964. It created the Office of Economic Opportunity whose stated purpose was to attack the roots of American poverty. A Job Corps was then established to provide vocational training.

A preschool program designed to help disadvantaged students arrive at kindergarten ready to learn, named HEADSTART, was then established. Then came VOLUNTEERS IN SERVICE TO AMERICA (VISTA), which was set up as a domestic Peace Corps. Schools in impoverished American regions would now receive volunteer teaching attention. Federal funds were sent to struggling communities to attack unemployment and illiteracy.

What Johnson told Americans, as he campaigned in 1964, was that the establishment of this “Great Society” was going to eliminate the problems of America’s poor.

It had the opposite effect

The Great Society created a dependent class, which, instead of diminishing as it’s members joined the workforce, increased from generation to generation, relying on the federal government to provide their every need.

Uncle Sugar became Mother, Father, Preacher, and Doctor to generations of Americans. This “plantation mentality” continues to this day.

A few years ago, I worked at our county’s State Employment Center Office.

While at the Employment Office, I was able to observe Americans, both Black and White, down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of “unemployed ” who came to this particular office were Black.

I saw Black American Families whose existence living on the Government Dole, had become generational.

It is these people whom Obama and the Democrats have hypnotized into believing that Uncle Sugar loves them, and is their only solution to surviving a stifling existence.

They are so, so wrong.

The strength and vitality of America does not come from the benevolence of a Nanny-state Federal Government.

As the greatest American President of my lifetime, Ronald Reagan said:

The nine words you never want to hear are: I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

Being enslaved to the Government Dole steals one’s ambition. It takes away any impetus or desire to create a better life for yourself and your family, to challenge yourself to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and pursue the American Dream. It makes you reliant on a politically motivated spider’s web full of government bureaucrats who view you and your family as job security.

I watched American citizens trapped in this web of government bureaucracy, so numbed of any initiative that they once had, that they seemed offended that they actually had to prove that they inquired about three jobs that week in order to keep their “benefits”. Others seemed puzzled that they had to search through the state data base and pick out a job that they wanted to talk to an interviewer about receiving a referral to, and weren’t just simply handed a job when they walked through the door.

Instead of moving forward, by exercising the self-reliance that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached so well, these people I saw, were content on being “taken care of” by Uncle Sugar, as if being held down by their own poor, miserable circumstance, was a good thing.

I am sure that it would have offended you, Dr. King, to hear the tenants of Marxism, i.e., “sharing the wealth” and Class Envy, being “preached” to the same Black Americans whom you tried so mightily to raise up and inspire.

For the past year, the results of LBJ’s “Great Society” have been the lead story in every television newscast, on every newspaper front page, and on every internet news/political website.

Dr King, I am sorry to tell you that racism and injustice is still going on in America. Unfortunately, it will not end any time soon, There are too many race-baiters profiting off of it.

Including, the President of the United States.

The part of your magnificent speech about “the content of their character” has been purposefully ignored by the professional race-baiters and assorted politicians (but, I repeat myself), once again, in the aftermath of the death pf Career Criminal Eric Garner.

Dr. King, your call for self-reliance took a back seat to their self-serving agenda, a long time ago.

So, how can we expect these young people to respect OUR FLAG, when they have no respect for THEMSELVES?

To those of you read this today, who somehow believe that desecrating OUR FLAG, makes you more elightened that the rest of us, and is your “right”, okay.

However, it is my right, as the son of an American Soldier, who stepped off a perfectly good boat, in a hail of gunfire, onto Normandy Beach to protect our American Freedom, to push you off of Old Glory and to take it away from you.

Yes, children, including Mrs. Obama.  All this for a flag.  And, for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in its service.

2 Cops Shot in Ferguson. Why #BlueLivesMatter.

image

Well, it finally happened. Two Missouri Police Officers are lying in a hospital, fighting for their lives, shot by the rifle of an unknown gunman, spurred on by the racial animus being ginned up by President Barack Hussein Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, and the rest of America’s Professional Race-Baiters.

CNN.com reports that

With tensions running high after the shooting of two officers in Ferguson, Missouri, state and county police are once again taking over protest security in the St. Louis suburb.

St. Louis County Police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol will “assume command of the security detail regarding protests” at 6 p.m. (7 p.m. ET), St. Louis County Police said in a statement.

Ferguson Police will remain responsible for routine policing services in the city, the statement said.

The takeover comes less than a day after two police officers standing guard outside Ferguson police headquarters were shot in what St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar called an “ambush,” spurring a manhunt for those responsible for targeting the line of officers.

“We could have buried two police officers,” Belmar told reporters. “… I feel very confident that whoever did this … came there for whatever nefarious reason that it was.”

This isn’t the first time that county police and state troopers have stepped in to handle protest security.

When clashes between police and protesters boiled over last year, Missouri’s governor declared a state of emergency and tapped the State Highway Patrol to take over. After that emergency declaration expired in December, Ferguson Police resumed command of protest security. Officers from other agencies have continued to provide backup at larger protests.

Protest organizers are meeting to determine whether they’ll demonstrate again Thursday night.

“The most important thing is the safety of the protesters, so we’re meeting to organize what tonight would look like, if we’re coming out, because we know that tensions are high within the Police Department after the incident that occurred last night, so we just want to make sure that people are safe,” said Kayla Reed of the Organization for Black Struggle.

If protesters return, they’ll see a different security situation on the streets, said Jeff Roorda of the St. Louis Police Officers Association.

“It’s a very tense situation, as you can well imagine,” he told CNN’s “The Situation Room.” “In my communications as a union official with police commanders, I’ve been assured that tactics will be different tonight. I assume that means not only more officers, but a wider perimeter, with coverage, perhaps, of these blind spots from which the shots were fired last night.”

The shots rang out shortly after midnight, at the end of a protest against the Ferguson Police Department. That department has been under fire since one of its officers, Darren Wilson, shot and killed black teen Michael Brown in August, and more recently since a scathing U.S. Department of Justice report came out documenting a pattern of racial discrimination.Police Chief Thomas Jackson resigned from his post Wednesday.

While the demonstrators’ focus was Ferguson, neither of the wounded officers works in that St. Louis suburb’s police department.

One is from Webster Groves, a city about 13 miles south of Ferguson. The officer — a 32-year-old with seven years’ experience — was shot at the high point of his cheek, just under his right eye, Belmar said. The bullet that hit him was still lodged behind his ear as of late Thursday morning.

The other wounded officer was hit in the shoulder and the bullet came out the middle of his back, Belmar said. He is a 41-year-old from St. Louis County Police who has been in law enforcement for the past 14 years.

Both men were treated and released from St. Louis’ Barnes Jewish Hospital, according to a Thursday morning post on the St. Louis County Police’s Facebook page.

The officers were standing next to each other when they were struck, Belmar said.

Back in the 1970s, one of my favorite television shows was “Baretta”, starring Robert Blake. Beretta was a no-nonsense New York City Plain Clothes Cop, who wore a jaunty hat, blue jeans, and a short sleeve sweatshirt, and had a cockatoo named Fred.

The title song, “Keep Your Eye on the Sparrow”, was performed by Sammy Davis, Jr.

The catchphrase to the song, which became popular nationwide, was, “If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.”

It meant that if you cannot take responsibility for your actions, then perhaps you should not do something illegal in the first place.

Perhaps someone should have instructed those two young men, who were killed in those unfortunate incidents in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City, as to the difference between right and wrong, and the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions.

I find it very ironic, that the same protesters who are screaming and shouting at the top of their lungs that there is a different standard for black Americans and white Americans, in terms of dealing with our legal system, are the same ones who are expecting to be treated differently, and to have some sort of special privilege, that excuses them from unlawful behavior and the consequences of their own actions .

When you break our laws, you just cannot expect to get away scot-free. You should expect that there will be consequences for your actions. That is, unless you have broken into this country.

But, I digress…

It is also ironic that the same radical Americans, who years ago, wanted to take down the Establishment, now, actually are the Establishment.

In their quest to create a Socialist Utopia, where everyone is the same, and there are no overachievers or underachievers , the Obama Administration and their sycophants have actually set the stage for the chaos and animus regarding race relations that is gripping our country.

By promising Americans that they will take care of everything from cradle to grave, Obama and his Administration, like other Liberal administrations before them, have “freed” parents from their duties, creating a generational cycle of neediness, lawlessness, and disrespect for authority.

Without respect for our legal system, and for those in authority, whose job it is to enforce our system of laws, a civilized society can quickly evolve into a scene from The Lord of the Flies, where the most barbaric will have the most power and privilege. In other words, they will rule by intimidation.

There were protesters actually cheering and making fun of the two police officers as they were laying there, bleeding out, after being shot.

The Bible tells us that we reap what we sow.

Obama has sown Class Warfare and Racial Division… and now, America is reaping the results.

Obama Blames the Police for Racial Unrest…Forgets About Personal Responsibility

AFBrancoBlackLeadereship12114I thought that the President of the United States of America was supposed to UNITE the country…not DIVIDE it.

Washingtonpost.com reports that…

In his first comments since the Justice Department released a report earlier this week detailing racial bias in the Ferguson, Mo., police department, President Obama called Friday for “collective action and mobilization” to resolve tensions between minority communities and law enforcement.

“I think that there are circumstances in which trust between communities and law enforcement have broken down, and individuals or entire departments may not have the training or the accountability to make sure that they’re protecting and serving all people and not just some,” he said on the Joe Madison Radio Show on Sirius XM Friday. “…I don’t think that is typical of what happens across the country, but it’s not an isolated incident.”

The Justice Department cleared officer Darren Wilson in a Ferguson, Mo., civil rights probe, but in a separate report, the agency accused the police department of bias and cited offensive e-mails. (The Washington Post)
Ahead of a commemoration of the civil rights movement this weekend in Selma, Ala., Obama later called the civil rights movement “an unfinished project,” pointing specifically to existing tensions in communities such as Ferguson, and in New York City.

“This was a quintessentially American moment,” he said on the Tom Joyner radio show of the march from Selma to Montgomery. “America at its best is about its capacity for change and not just denying problems but taking them head on. America at its best is also about ordinary people, we the people, making change.”

Obama added that too frequently people think of the civil rights movement as a distant, historic moment when in fact “this was just yesterday, basically.”

“Part of what I want Malia and Sasha to understand is that this an unfinished project,” Obama told Joyner. “There is work to be done right now. … It is a glorious task we are given to continually try to improve this country of ours. And we shouldn’t shy away from that work, and we shouldn’t be complacent about it.”

Breitbart.com reports that

On the eve of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the civil rights march in Selma, Alabama, the unemployment rate among African Americans remains more than twice that of white Americans and nearly twice the national average.

According to the latest jobs figures released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the African American unemployment rate for the month of February was 10.4 percent, compared to the white unemployment rate of 4.7 percent and national average of 5.5 percent.

The latest African American unemployment rate represents a slight uptick over the January figure of 10.3 percent. Whites experienced a slight decline in unemployment from January’s rate of 4.9 percent and the national average also dipped from 5.7 percent.

While the White House boasted about February’s job gains of 295,000 jobs and its 5.5 percent unemployment rate Friday morning, it did acknowledge the “unacceptably high” unemployment rates among African American and Hispanic populations.

In a statement about the jobs data Jason Furman, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, argued that while the African American and Hispanic unemployment is nearly down to pre-recession levels, it is still too high. He pointed to proposals from President Obama as efforts to help.

“This is why the President has proposed a number of policies—including the My Brother’s Keeper initiative for young men of color and tax relief for working families—to help reduce disparities in labor market outcomes,” Furman said.

Obama, the nation’s first African American president, and a number of lawmakers will be in Selma on this weekend to mark the 50th anniversary of the march.

Do you remember a couple of weeks ago, when a silly little Obama Spokeswoman claimed that the reason that the Radical Islamists, known as ISIS, were killing innocent Christians and Muslims over in the Middle East because they “needed Jobs”?

Well, I realize that I’m just an ig’nant old cracka’, living down here in the Bible Belt, but, it occurs to me that if the Ferguson and the New York City Rioters (paid and unpaid…thank you, George Soros)had jobs, they would not have been “so mistreated ” at the hands of those mean ol’ Police Officers (White, Black, Asian, and Hispanic).

So, perhaps the President of the United States should focus his attention to giving “his people” (which are actually supposed to be all of us)to educational training and cultural impetus to exercise personal responsibility, in order to gain employment, be men and women, support their families, and thrive as Americans.

A couple of years ago, I worked at our county’s State Employment Center Office.

While at the Employment Office, I was able to observe Americans, both Black and White, down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of “unemployed ” who came to this particular office were Black.

Internet Trolls: A Reflection of Our Political Reality [A KJ Op Ed]

internet trollIt’s amazing how websites are a reflection of our Political Reality.

Every website and Facebook Page, where there is political discussion, unless they are just Pro-one-way-or-the-other, puts out a plea for civil discourse in the discussions that happen between commenters on their site.

Unfortunately, though, that never seems to happen. And, why is that?

If you are an Internet – Surfing Political Junkie like me, at some time or another, you have no doubt run into an aggravating, bitter, whiney individual, commonly referred to as an “Internet Troll”.

In America, most Internet Trolls belong to the Liberal Political Ideology (whether they admit it, or not).

In our American culture today, the art of civil discourse has degenerated into a shouting match. This wouldn’t be so bad, if both sides had the right to shout equally as loud as the other side.

The problem is, for some reason, Conservatives are expected to mind our manners, be meek and mild, and follow the Marquis of Queensbury rules, while Liberals, libertarians, and self-identified “Moderates” (Social Liberals) call us everything but a child of God.

However, this doesn’t just happen on the Internet, this happens in the Real World as well… and it all starts with the President of the United States and trickles down from there.

Before Obama became President, in a private fund raiser in Pennsylvania, he referred to us American Conservatives as bitter clingers, clinging to our guns and Bibles. Then, the Main Stream Media, totally in love with their new messiah, told everyone who would listen, that if you did not vote for Barack Hussein Obama as President, you are a racist.

When Conservatives started to dig up historical facts about Obama, we told by those whom I identified to sit down, shut up, and know “our role” or “stay in our lane”.

After Obama was elected, and the country started to find out just exactly who he was, Conservatives started to speak out again. Again, we were told to sit down, shut up, and know our “role”(stay in our lane).

Finally, we had enough and began a groundswell, which led to the formation of  what has become known as the Tea Party.

The rise of the Tea Party movement and America’s return to Conservatism, which resulted in the political massacre known as the 2010 Midterm Elections, was such a surprise to them. In their self-imposed isolation, they actually thought that the America people wanted them to continue their deal-making, soul-selling, business-as-usual politics.

They were in shock when American Conservatives stood up on their hind legs and gave the House of Representatives back to the Republican Party.

And, you know what happened afterwards?

The Liberal Establishment and their minions, the Internet Trolls, began a relentless Social Media Campaign designed to make American Conservatives, once again, the “Silent Majority”, calling us “racists” for speaking the truth about Barack Hussein Obama, and telling us, once again, to sit down, shut up, know our “role”/”stay in our lane”.

Now, after the recent, overwhelming Political Massacre that transpired on November 6, 2014, with Republicans gaining control of both Houses of Congress, thanks, once again, to the Conservative Base, and, the national resentment of the growing Liberal use of the Rhetoric of Class and Racial Warfare, spurred on by their Petulant President, the Internet Trolls are whining louder than the Civil Defense Siren at Noon on Saturday.

Are you beginning to see a pattern, boys and girls?

Liberal Trolls and their activity on the Internet are simply an extension of our culture at large.

Liberalism has always been a failed political ideology. It has never been embraced by the majority of Americans.

So, in order for Liberals to “get their way” on social issues and national policy, since their ideas are never excepted by the majority of Americans, they must resort to the facilitation of culture change through intimidation, rule by fiat, and via Executive Orders, if they have a president in the White House, who will do their bidding…which has certainly been the case since January 21, 2009.

In other words, Liberal Activists, especially Internet Trolls, are dirty, manipulative, little cowards, who overestimate their power….and, their own intelligence.

You see, Liberal Democrats, including the “Trolling” variety, both paid and unpaid, expect average Conservative Americans to behave like a dog who has been whipped too much, and go cower in a corner and allow them to insult us, and walk all over us in our online “discussions”.

Their expectation of Conservative Behavior is predicated on the fact that they know that we were raised right, usually by two parents, and that the majority of us are Christians, and are reluctant to have an out-of-body experience on an Internet Chat Board or Political Facebook Page, telling them where to go and the temperature when they get there.

Therefore, Liberal Democrats feel as if they can take advantage of the good nature of American Conservatives, and walk all over us.

Well, I’ve got some news for them.

As a Christian American Conservative, I do my best to live my faith, every day.

However, boys and girls, don’t forget… Jesus ran the money changers out of the temple.

Reaping the Whirlwind of Race-Baiting: Two Dead New York City Policemen

AFBrancoBlackLeadereship12114I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. – Dr. Martin Kuther King, Jr.

The innocent families of two New York City Policemen will be in mourning this Christmas, instead of celebrating the birth of the Prince of Peace.

The New York Post has the story…

Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s assassination-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

“No warning, no provocation — they were quite simply assassinated, targeted for their uniform,” Police Commissioner William Bratton said.

Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 3 p.m. when they were shot point-blank in the head by lone gunman Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, who had addresses in Georgia, Maryland and Brooklyn.

Moments after killing the two officers, Brinsley, too, was dead, having turned his gun on himself on a nearby subway platform as cops closed in.

Liu, 32, a newlywed of only two months, had seven years on the force; Ramos, 40, dad to two sons, had two years on the job.

Brinsley was already a fugitive, suspected of putting a bullet in his ex-girlfriend’s abdomen at her residence in Baltimore at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, Bratton said.

By early Saturday afternoon — just three hours before shooting Liu and Ramos — vile anti-police threats were posted to Brinsley’s Instagram page. The threats referenced the recent police-involved killings of Garner and Brown.

“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote. “They Take 1 Of Ours . . . Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, ending with, “This May Be My Final Post.”

The Instagram page included an image of a silver automatic handgun with a wooden handle.

That gun matches the Taurus semiautomatic that police recovered from Brinsley. Another image showed the same camouflage pants and distinctive blue sneakers worn by the gunman as his body was carried from the scene on a stretcher.

“I Rather Die a Gangster Then Go To Sleep A Coward,” read another post.

The sickening missives used the hashtag #ShootThePolice, along with two other hashtags referencing Garner and Brown.

Police in Baltimore had reached out via a “warning flier” to alert NYPD that Brinsley might be en route to Brooklyn, but the fax tragically arrived at 2:45 p.m. — five minutes before the shooting, Bratton said. “The tragedy here was that just as the warning was coming in, the murder was occurring,” Bratton said.

The execution of the cops follows nearly three weeks of powder-keg tensions in the wake of a Staten Island grand jury’s decision not to indict a police officer for the chokehold that contributed to Garner’s death.

Four officers have suffered minor injuries in scuffles with protesters, including two lieutenants attacked on the Brooklyn Bridge a week ago Saturday.

Brinsley walked up to the cops’ patrol car at the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins avenues, approaching from the sidewalk.

“They were siting in a marked NYPD car, in full uniform,” Bratton said of Liu and Ramos.

Brinsley “took a shooting stance on the passenger side and fired his weapon several times through the front passenger window, striking both officers in the head,” Bratton told reporters.

“Officer Liu and Officer Ramos never had the opportunity to draw weapons,” he said. “They may never actually have even seen their assailant — their murderer,” he said. Witnesses also said Brinsley opened fire without uttering a word, a law-enforcement source told The Post.

Brinsley stood stock still for a few moments, fleeing into the subway when he heard the sirens of a second police car.

“The cops were struggling to get out of the vehicle,” eyewitness Courtney Felix, 23, of Bed-Stuy, told The Post. “They were hanging onto their wounds.

“One was clutching at his neck and the other was holding onto his collarbone. One cop stumbled out of the driver’s side and he leaned over to fall down,” the witness added. “He was trying to catch himself. He was mostly on the floor and he was fading out.”

Brinsley fled south on Tompkins to the subway where “they engaged the guy and he ‘did’ himself,” an NYPD investigator said.

Every race-baiter, local & national, who have fanned the flames of racial hatred, has the blood of these two police officers on their hands.

Recently, one half of the “Justice Brothers, the “Reverend Al Sharpton, led a march in New York City, capitalizing on the deaths of Michael Brown and Earl Garner. During the march, the protesters chanted

What do we want? Dead Cops!

Somehow, America’s Professional Race-Baiters, from the Community Organizer-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, on down, have twisted the facts to make it America’s Law Enforcement Officers’ Fault that two thugs got themselves killed in altercations with police officers.

On November 25th, The Daily Caller reported that

And now, it has led to the murder of two of New York City’s Finest.

It needs to stop. Now.

Majority of Americans Believe That Obama Has Worsened Race Relations

Obama-Shrinks-2“This [Racism] is something that’s deeply rooted in our society, deeply rooted in our history. But the two things that will allow us to solve it: Number one: Is the understanding that we have made progress and so it’s important to recognize that as painful as these instances are, we can’t equate what’s happening now with what was happening 50 years ago. If you talk to your parents, grandparents, uncles, they’ll tell you that things are better,” – President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama, Black Entertainment Television, “BET News Presents: A Conversation with President Barack Obama”, to air tonight, December 8, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. Central.

Isn’t it awfully TIRESOME and TACKY to have a President of the United States of America who views everything in terms of RACE?

Bloomberg.com reports that

President Barack Obama had hoped his historic election would ease race relations, yet a majority of Americans, 53 percent, say the interactions between the white and black communities have deteriorated since he took office, according to a newBloomberg Politics poll. Those divisions are laid bare in the split reactions to the decisions by two grand juries not to indict white police officers who killed unarmed black men in Ferguson, Mo., and Staten Island, N.Y.

Both times, protesters responded with outrage and politicians called for federal investigations. Yet Americans don’t think of the cases as a matched set of injustices, the poll found. A majority agreed with the Ferguson decision, while most objected to the conclusion in the Staten Island death, which was captured on video. The divergent opinions—52 percent agreed on Ferguson compared with 25 percent who approved of the Staten Island outcome—add to an ongoing discussion that was inflamed when Officer Daniel Pantaleo was seen in the July video putting what appeared to be a chokehold on Eric Garner, a 43-year-old man suspected of selling untaxed cigarettes. Garner could be heard saying, “I can’t breathe,” and died of a heart attack in what a medical examiner ruled a homicide. The grand jury decision not to charge Pantaleo came just 12 days after a similar panel in Ferguson declined to charge Officer Darren Wilson, who in August shot to death 18-year-old Michael Brown. That altercation was not captured on video, and the prosecutor presented evidence of a physical confrontation between the two men before the fatal shots were fired.

The Bloomberg survey shows a gulf between how whites and blacks view the incidents. Ninety percent of African Americans thought the grand jury should have indicted in the Staten Island death. Just over half of the white people polled felt that way. On Ferguson, 89 percent of blacks disagreed with the grand jury, while just 25 percent of whites did. The smaller sample size of black adults changes the margin of error of their response on the grand jury questions to plus or minus 6.5 percentage points.

The poll of 1,001 U.S. adults was conducted Dec. 3-5 by Selzer & Company of Des Moines, Iowa, and the poll for the full sample has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

In the six years since his election as the nation’s first black president, Obama has addressed race just a handful of times. He delivered his most personal remarks after an unarmed 17-year-old boy was gunned down in Florida by a man who found him to be suspicious, and then again when that man, George Zimmerman, was acquitted of any crime. “You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is, Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago.”

Obama has also weighed in on the deaths of both Brown and Garner. And the Justice Department is reviewing the two incidents, as well. Yet Obama has not gone to Missouri or New York. To Griessel, that’s a problem. “He should have gone to Ferguson and very bluntly said, ‘I don’t want any violence here. Let’s show people that we can accept verdicts we don’t like,’” he said. “The destruction just makes people more prejudice than they already are.”

Obama also nodded to the symbolic power of his rise to the presidency in the opening line of his victory speech on Nov. 4, 2008. “If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of democracy, tonight is your answer.”

Yeah, buddy. Ol’ Scooter had his Game Face on that night, for sure.

However, as I found out in affairs of the heart, a long time ago…

Beauty is only skip deep, but, ugly goes all the way to the bone.

For over 20 years, Obama sat under the former American Black Muslim, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, at the Trinity Church of Christ, a “Black Liberation Theology” Church.

What is “Black Liberation Theology”? I’m glad you asked.

The chief architect of black liberation theology was James Cone, author of Black Theology and Black Power. One of the tasks of this movement, according to Cone, is to analyze the nature of the gospel of Jesus Christ in light of the experience of blacks who have long been victimized by white oppressors. According to black liberation theology, the inherent racism of white people precludes them from being able to recognize the humanity of nonwhites; moreover, their white supremacist orientation allegedly results in the establishment of a “white theology” that is irrevocably disconnected from the black experience. Consequently, liberation theologians contend that blacks need their own, race-specific theology to affirm their identity and their worth.

“What we need,” says Cone, “is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of Black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.” Observing that America was founded for white people, Cone calls for “the destruction of whiteness, which is the source of human misery in the world.” He advocates the use of Marxism as a tool of social analysis to help Christians to see “how things really are.”

Another prominent exponent of black liberation theology is the Ivy League professor Cornel West, who calls for “a serious dialogue between Black theologians and Marxist thinkers” — a dialogue that centers on the possibility of “mutually arrived-at political action.”

In the past, Obama has credited a sermon of Mr. Wright’s, “The Audacity of Hope,” with drawing him to what he identified back in 2008 as, “Christianity”.

On Page 293 of his first book,  “Dreams for My Father,” Obama recounts Wright’s “The Audacity of Hope” sermon.

Obama quotes this passage:

It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!

In fact, Wright had so influenced the young Illinois Senator that Obama made the phrase “The Audacity of Hope” the title of his second book.

However, right before he announced his presidential campaign, Obama started to put distance between himself and his pastor of over 20 years, cancelling plans for him to deliver the Convocation Prayer at the campaign’s formal announcement.

The president has been physically distancing himself from Rev. Wright ever since.

Can you say hypocrisy, boys and girls? Sure you can.

It turns out that the man who was billed as our first “Post-Racial President” has done nothing but divide the races even further.

And, that’s not what any nation’s leader does…much less an AMERICAN PRESIDENT…unless…it is intentional.

Ferguson Redux: NYC Cop Not Indicted. “Perpetually Aggrieved” Ready to Rumble…Again.

AFBrancoFergusonWolvesAmerica, under the failed leadership of its First Post-Racial President, continues to be anything but Post-Racial.

FoxNews.com reports that

A Staten Island grand jury declined Wednesday to indict a white New York City police officer in connection with the July chokehold death of an unarmed black man.

Police Officer Daniel Pantaleo, a 29-year-old, eight-year veteran of the force, faced possible charges in the July 17 death of Eric Garner, who was stopped on suspicion of selling loose cigarettes. Video captured Pantaleo using what appeared to be an illegal chokehold on Garner, a 43-year-old father of six with a lengthy criminal record. Garner, who had health problems, died as a result of the encounter.

In the video, Garner can be heard yelling, “I can’t breathe!”

Jonathan Moore, an attorney for the victim’s family, said he is “astonished by the decision.”

In a statement, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday was “a deeply emotional day” and called for any protests to remain peaceful.

President Obama, speaking at the Tribal Nations Conference in Washington after the grand jury’s decision was announced, said many minority communities across the United States feel that law enforcement is not working with them “in a fair way.”

“We are not going to let up until we see a strengthening of the trust and strengthening of the accountability that exists between our communities and our law enforcement,” Obama said.

By mid-afternoon, protests began to bubble up around the city. A Twitter hashtag,#ShutItDown, called on demonstrators to protest Wednesday night’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan. A “lie-in” was held at the main concourse of Grand Central Station in Manhattan, though MyFoxNY.com reported that protesters were not blocking commuters and no arrests were made.

And now, we pause, for this moment of truth…and sanity.

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley is defending police officers, calling it “ridiculous” that people claim white cops are just out there killing black people.

Speaking to CNN on Tuesday, Barkley stated that if it wasn’t for police, the ghetto would be like the “wild, wild west.”

“The notion that white cops are out there just killing black people – that’s ridiculous. That’s just flat-out ridiculous,” the TNT basketball analyst told CNN. “I challenge any black person to try to make that point. Cops are actually awesome. They are the only thing in the ghetto between this place being the wild, wild west. So this notion that cops are out there just killing black men is ridiculous and I hate that narrative coming out of this entire situation.”

Barkley previously had strong words about the violent protesters in Ferguson, calling them “scumbags” for looting and setting businesses on fire after officer Darren Wilson was not indicted in the death of Michael Brown. He told CNN the only time America discusses race is when something bad happens.

“We’ve always had a racial issue in this country and the biggest problem with it is we never discuss race until something bad happens. We never have meaningful dialogue over a cold beer when things are going good,” Barkley explained to CNN. “When something bad happens, everybody has a tribe mentality. Everybody wants to protect their own tribe, whether they’re right or wrong.”

Barkley stated that there’s a reason why police racially profile the black community.

“We as black people, we got a lot of crooks. We can’t just wait until something like this happens. We have to look at ourselves in the mirror,” Barkley told CNN. “There’s a reason they racially profile us at times. Sometimes it’s wrong, sometimes it’s right. To act like we hold no responsibility for some of this stuff is disingenuous.”

Barkley also said that there needs to be stronger black leaders, and not the same case of “sad characters.”

“Every time something happens in the black community, we have the same cast of sad characters. We don’t have to have Al Sharpton go there.”

Barkley continued: “We need some strong black men in St. Louis to stand up and say ‘Hey, let’s handle this situation.’”

Hundreds of protesters around the country have been arrested following last week’s grand jury announcement. The presence of police and National Guard in the Ferguson area has been scaled back following violent protests.

Perhaps someone should have instructed the two young men, who were killed in these unfortunate incidents in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City, as to the difference between right and wrong, and the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions.

That is, unless you have broken into this country, as I wrote about yesterday.

But, I digress…

It is also ironic that the same radical Americans, who years ago, wanted to take down the Establishment, actually now, are the Establishment.

In their quest to create a Socialist Utopia, where everyone is the same, and there are no overachievers or underachievers , the Obama Administration and their sycophants have actually set the stage for the chaos and animus regarding race relations that is gripping our country.

Without respect for our legal system, and for those in authority, whose job it is to enforce our system of laws, a civilized society can quickly evolve into a scene from Lord of the Flies, where the most barbaric will have the most power and privilege. In other words, rule by intimidation.

As is presently happening in my hometown of Memphis Tennessee, the Obama White House finds itself in the trap of its own making. By promising Americans that they will take care of everything from cradle to grave, Obama and his administration, like other administrations before them, have “freed” parents from their duties, creating a generational cycle of neediness, lawlessness, and disrespect for authority.

The Bible tells us that we reap what we sow.

Obama has sown class warfare and racial division… and now, America is reaping the results.

POTUS Vs. The Police: Once a Community Organizer…

AFBrancoBlackLeadereship12114Liberals seem to assume that, if you don’t believe in their particular political solutions, then you don’t really care about the people that they claim to want to help. – Dr. Thomas Sowell

DATELINE: Chicago, January 31, 2013 –
With outrage over Hadiya Pendleton’s slaying spreading from City Hall to the White House, the 15-year-old became a symbol Wednesday of escalating violence in Chicago while fueling the national debate over guns and crime.

A little more than a week after performing with the King College Prep band in Washington during President Barack Obama’s inauguration festivities, Hadiya was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in a park about a mile north of Obama’s Kenwood home. Two other teens were wounded.

Young, talented Hadiya was killed by Chicago “Gang Bangers”, who just happened to have been black.

How quickly they forget.

The New York Post reports that

Obama is proposing a three-year, $263 million spending package to increase use of body-worn cameras, expand training for law enforcement and add more resources for police department reform. The package includes $75 million for the small, lapel-mounted cameras to record police on the job.

The White House has said the cameras could help bridge deep mistrust between law enforcement and the public. It also potentially could help resolve the type of disputes between police and witnesses that arose in the Ferguson shooting.

After the shooting and resulting protests in August, Obama ordered a review of federal programs that fund military gear for local police after critics questioned why police in full body armor with armored trucks responded to dispel demonstrators. Obama seemed to sympathize when announcing the review over the summer.

“There is a big difference between our military and our local law enforcement and we don’t want those lines blurred,” Obama said at the time.

Senior administration officials said Friday that five federal agencies have programs to supply the equipment that are authorized by Congress, but Obama’s focus is not supporting legislation to repeal them but to make sure there are standards to ensure the equipment is used safely.

Obama’s staff is drafting an executive order that will require federal agencies that run the programs to work with law enforcement and civil rights and civil liberties organizations to recommend changes.

Demands for police to wear the cameras have increased across the country since Brown’s death. Some officers in the St. Louis suburb have since started wearing the cameras, and the New York Police Department became the largest department in the US to adopt the technology when it launched a pilot program in early September.

A report from the Justice Department, which had been in the works before the Ferguson shooting, said there’s evidence that both police and civilians behave better when they know there are cameras around. The report also cites how footage from the cameras can be used to train officers.

So, somehow, it’s America’s Law Enforcement Officers’ Fault that a young thug got himself killed while attacking a police officer?

Community Organizer-In-Chief To Hold “Ferguson Beer Summit” Today

AFBrancoPants-Up-LA-600-578x420If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labeled a radical 60 years ago, a liberal 30 years ago and a racist today. – Dr. Thomas Sowell

From 1985 – 1988, President Barack Hussein Obama was a Community Organizer in Chicago. What does a Community Organizer do? I’m glad you asked.

Per Byron York in an article found at nationalreview.com:

Community organizing is most identified with the left-wing Chicago activist Saul Alinsky (1909-72), who pretty much defined the profession. In his classic book, Rules for Radicals, Alinsky wrote that a successful organizer should be “an abrasive agent to rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; to fan latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expressions.” Once such hostilities were “whipped up to a fighting pitch,” Alinsky continued, the organizer steered his group toward confrontation, in the form of picketing, demonstrating, and general hell-raising.

Obama was hired by Jerry Kellman, a New Yorker who had gotten into organizing in the 1960s. Kellman was trying to help laid-off factory workers on the far South Side of Chicago, in a nearly 100% black community. He led a group, the Calumet Community Religious Conference, that had been created by several local Catholic churches in the industrial community. Kellman was advised to hire a black organizer for a new spinoff from CCRC. They called it the Developing Communities Project, designed to focus solely on the Chicago part of the area.

One of Obama’s projects while he was there, was to try to build an alliance of white and black churches and enlist them in the cause of social justice. Obama had a problem, though. He didn’t go to church himself. And that, brothers and sisters, is how Obama, drawn to the preaching of Rev. Jeremiah Wright (and a political opportunity), joined Trinity United Church of Christ on 95th Street.

If you ask Obama’s fellow Community Organizers what his most significant accomplishments were, they’ll say two things: the expansion of a city summer-job program for South Side teenagers and the removal of asbestos from one of the area’s oldest housing projects. Those were his biggest victories.

Remember all of that as you read this…

NBCNews.com reports that

President Barack Obama will meet with young civil rights leaders, politicians and law enforcement from around the country as protests continue over Ferguson in a bid to build trust among communities of color and police, the White House said Sunday.

Obama will welcome the civil rights activists in the Oval Office on Monday. He then will sit down with local leaders, elected officials and police, the White House said.

“Recent events in Ferguson, Missouri and around the country have shone a spotlight on the importance of strong, collaborative relationships between local police and the communities they protect and serve,” the White House said in a statement.

“As the country has witnessed, disintegration of trust between law enforcement agencies and the people they protect and serve can destabilize communities, undermine the legitimacy of the criminal justice system, undermine public safety, create resentment in local communities, and make the job of delivering police services less safe and more difficult,” the White House added.

Protests have continued nationwide since a grand jury decided not to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. Wilson resigned from the police force on Saturday.

As I have written before, Obama ascended to the throne of the Regime during a period when our nation was experiencing a period of economic recession, by appealing to the masses by promising that if he was elected, the oceans would rise and fall, the sun would come out tomorrow (Hey, that sounds like a song. Oh…never mind.) and everybody would receive a unicorn in their backyard. (Okay. He didn’t really promise that. But, heck, he promised everything else.)

Obama’s “speechifying” sounded great to the 47%, who have relied on Uncle Sugar’s largesse for generations.

Obama has always aimed his “soaring rhetoric” toward that audience, preaching not only economic class division, but racial division, as well.

The attention which he has paid to isolated racial incidents, like the shooting of the young thug, Michael Brown, blown up to national attention by the Democrat Party and their professional race-baiters, including Obama himself, diminishes the presidency.

When Ronald Reagan was president, he was in the Oval Office by 7:00 a.m. every morning, in a coat and tie, because he felt like his being in shirt sleeves was unseemly for the highest office in the land.

Obama saunters into the Oval Office every day about 10 a.m. or so, in shirt sleeves. Quite frankly, I’m surprised that he doesn’t wear his golf shorts and an Izod golf shirt.

Going to college, back in the day, one of the books I had to read for a Business Communications Course was “The Peter Principle”, which states that everyone, in their chosen profession, rises to their level of incompetence.

Unfortunately, for average hard-working Americans, Obama’s level of competence ended in 1988.

And, he’s been Community Organizing ever since.

Until He Comes,
