Administration in Talks About Winding Down the Coronavirus Task Force, Trump: “We Can’t Keep Our Country Closed for Five Years”…Let’s Roll!

The Trump administration is in talks over potentially winding down the coronavirus task force, even as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow in the U.S. and as sectors of the economy begin to reopen.

President Trump defended the talks Tuesday while speaking to the media in Phoenix, Ariz., where he was touring a mask production facility, saying his advisers were continuing to examine the virus “very closely,” and the doctors on the task force would continue to make their voices heard. He also said, “We can’t keep our country closed for the next five years… We’ve learned a lot about the coronavirus.”

The president also denied his message was, “mission accomplished.”

Vice President Pence, who has led the task force, said Tuesday that White House officials were “having conversations” about finishing up the group’s business and, instead, having “agencies take over the work” — specifically mentioning the Federal Emergency Management Agency [FEMA]. Pence said, though, that the earliest the agencies could take over the group’s responsibilities would be Memorial Day or early June, if the task force itself were to be discontinued.

A White House official told Fox News the White House has been shifting focus toward re-opening the country, as outlined in Phase 1 of the administration’s “Opening Up America Again” guidelines. The official said it would be an ongoing shift over the next several weeks.

The official told Fox News that doctors will continue to play an “important advisory role” in the process, as the administration has aimed to “make sure medical guidelines are kept up to date” and Americans are able to safely return to work. The official stressed that doctors were not being removed from the equation and called any reports reflecting that “false.”

The official told Fox News that members of the task force will continue to provide input, but the group will not be meeting as regularly as they had been at the outset of the pandemic. The official added that the White House’s focus was shifting towards vaccines, therapeutics, testing and re-opening the economy.

The task force, according to the official, was always meant to be a temporary arrangement. The official stressed that experts will continue to provide input, even while not meeting each day.

The task force has included Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Dr. Deborah Birx, who served as the U.S. Global AIDS coordinator under both the Trump and Obama administrations; U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams; Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar; Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Seema Verma; Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield and more.

The task force had delivered near-daily briefings from the White House for nearly two months, sometimes lasting for more than an hour, providing updates on the impact of the coronavirus and the Trump administration’s response.

But, those briefings also became a source of controversy.

Trump led many of them, taking criticism for spending chunks of time touting his administration’s accomplishments and sparring with some of the media. Perhaps the most controversial moment came last month when Trump seemingly suggested that a product as simple as household disinfectant potentially could be used for treatment in humans for coronavirus.

The president later said he was just being “sarcastic.” But, Lysol and even the Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] put out statements reminding people that disinfectants should not be ingested or injected into the human body. Shortly afterward, the White House stopped hosting the briefings on a regular basis.

I personally believe that focusing the experts in the Coronavirus Task Force on a new mission of reopening America would be a great idea.

I firmly believe that, while no death from the virus has been unimportant, the estimates of death toll of the coronavirus were greatly overestimated.

It is time to tailor coronavirus safety restrictions to what is happening in different areas of the country, not just treat every region of America as if it was the sardine can that is New York City, where the homeless sleep in the subway and the mayor is a Communist.

Speaking for the state where I live, Mississippi, tomorrow, the governor is going to allow restaurants to reopen at 50% occupancy with tables 6 feet apart and is going to start allowing “drive-in church services”.

That’s an improvement, but, I still need a haircut and I can’t fellowship with my fellow believers while we are isolated in different cars.

“Virtual hugs” and waving hands emojis on Facebook just doesn’t cut it.

America, using common sense, HAS to return to some sense of normalcy before we lose our nation to the Far Left Democrats and their puppet governors, who want to turn us all into a Marist Proletariat so that they can grow rich and powerful as the Soviet Politboro was.

You think I am kidding?

Have you been watching the overstepping governors in the blue states as they trample our Constitution?

If you have been on any Facebook Political Pages, you will find Liberals cheering them on, oblivious of the trampling of the rights of American citizens.

Instead, that have been calling those Americans who entered the Michigan Capitol Building carrying legal firearms, thugs because they dared stand up against Gov. Whitmer.

President Trump is right.

“We can’t keep our country closed for the next five years.”

It is time to starting opening back up or else we will be playing right into the hands of those who would “radically change” our Constitutional Republic into a Marxist Nation.

Michigan Gov. Whitmer Says Lockdown Protestors Inside Capitol Building Represented “Worst and Awful Parts” of U.S. History

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer slammed the protesters who gathered inside the state’s Capitol building on Thursday to demand she rescind her stay-at-home orders, saying they represented the “worst racism and awful parts” of  U.S. history.

“There were swastikas and Confederate flags and nooses and people with assault rifles,” Whitmer said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “Some of the outrageousnesses of what happened at our capitol depicted some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history in this country.”

The Michigan governor, however, added that those people represented a small portion of the demonstrators at the state capital and that, for the most part, the protest was peaceful.

“When you think about the fact that this is a state of almost 10 million people, the vast majority of whom are doing the right thing,” she added, “the behavior you’ve seen in all of the clips is not representative of who we are in Michigan.”

Holding American flags and handmade signs – and with some carrying firearms — the demonstrators in Lansing first congregated shoulder-to-shoulder on Thursday outside before demanding to be let inside the building as lawmakers were poised to debate an extension of an emergency and disaster declaration. Some chanted “Let us in,” The Detroit News reported.

State Sen. Dayna Polehanki, a Democrat, tweeted a photo of what she described as armed demonstrators yelling above her. She said some of her colleagues were wearing “bullet proof vests” inside the House chamber.

“Directly above me, men with rifles yelling at us. Some of my colleagues who own bullet proof vests are wearing them. I have never appreciated our Sergeants-at-Arms more than today. #mileg,” she posted.

Thursday’s rally came as some people living in Michigan have continued to demand Whitmer roll back her stay-at-home order in an effort to reopen the state’s economy and allow residents to resume daily activities.

Last week, she extended the mandate through May 15, but loosened some restrictions beginning Friday. Residents will be allowed to travel between residences, but it will be “strongly discouraged.”

Whitmer said she would not be intimidated by political pressure to ease up her state’s stay-at-home orders amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“The fact of the matter is we are in the global pandemic. This is not something we negotiate ourselves out of and is a political matter; this is a public health crisis that has taken the lives of almost 70,000 Americans,” she said.

President Trump has come out in support of the protesters, calling them “very good people” in a tweet on Friday.

“The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire. These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal,” Trump added.

Did you notice, gentle readers, how Governor Whitmer made sure to mention the “small minority” of those with swastikas and the Stars and Bars within the crowd of protesters FIRST?

That is because the less-than-honorable Governor Whitmer, like the majority of Far Left Democrats, view average Americans as ignorant inbreds who are not their intellectual peers.

They, like every other “leader” in the history of the political ideology which they admire and aspire to, including Vladimir Lenin, himself, viewed “the proletariat” as sheep to be led and molded to work for “the good of the state”.

What’s theirs is theirs and what’s ours is theirs.

The political party with the jackass as their symbol are intentionally overstepping their Gubernatorial Powers in the states which they rule…not in the name of “protecting their citizens” as they claim, but, to intentionally damage the economic prosperity which President Donald J. Trump has worked so hard to bring back to average Americans…of all races.

No American death as a result of COVID-19 is “okay”.

However, neither is the destruction of our American Freedom and our once-booming economy.

The timing of this “accident” at the Wuhan Virology Institute could not have come at a better time for the Democratic Party.

The President was rolling, working hard at bringing America back from the poor stewardship of his predecessors and succeeding, despite the best efforts of the Democratic Party to get him thrown out of office.

Then, the Chinese Coronavirus hit, the lockdowns began, the stock market tanked, unemployment grew by leaps and bounds, Pelosi sent the House of Representatives off on a break from whence they have not returned yet, and the Democratic Governors extended the “Stay at Home” orders in their states, even if their state mortality rate from COVID-19 had started to plateau.

Yes, the Chinese Coronavirus has been rough.

However, if you think that Governor Whitler…err…Whitmer and her fellow travelers have extended the lockdowns of their states simply out of concern for their citizens…then you have not been paying attention.

New York Mag’s Nuzzi Asks Trump if More Americans Die From Coronavirus Than Vietnam War, Does He Deserve Re-election

New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi asked President Donald Trump whether he deserved re-election if more Americans die of coronavirus than in the Vietnam War.

Nuzzi asked the question during Monday afternoon’s Coronavirus Task Force briefing.

“If an American president loses more Americans over the course of six weeks than died in the entirety of the Vietnam War, does he deserve to be re-elected?” Nuzzi asked.

Trump didn’t answer the question directly, instead choosing to highlight the steps his administration had taken to mitigate the spread of coronavirus.

“We’ve lost a lot of people. But if you look at what original projections were, 2.2 million, we’re probably heading to 60,000, 70,000,” he said. “It’s far too many. One person is too many for this. I think we’ve made a lot of really good decisions.”

Trump mentioned his initial ban on travel from China and touted Vice President Mike Pence’s efforts in leading the task force on a day to day basis. He then noted that no one was asking about ventilators anymore, now that a shortage of ventilators doesn’t appear to be the problem many expected it to be.

“No, I think we’ve done a great job,” Trump concluded, repeating, “One person — I will say this. One person is too many.”

Nuzzi defended the question after the fact, saying, “If more than 50,000 Americans died over the course of a few weeks at any time in our history, it would be fair to ask the president if he deserves to be reelected. It wasn’t a gotcha question, it wasn’t designed to provoke, and I appreciate the fact that Trump took it seriously.”

Former Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders once said, after being badgered by a “news reporter” from ABC. that the reporter and her colleagues have a “responsibility to provide accurate information” to the public.

“Responsibility”. Therein lies the rub.

Before the Chinese Coronavirus hit, the Democratic Party and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, had already been reduced to personal attacks against a sitting president.

They could not attack Trump on his Economic Policies, which had been very successful and which led to a record low unemployment rate for Black Americans.

They could not attack him on his Foreign Policy, especially after the fantastic way he handled the Iranians and the North Koreans.

So, they decided instead, to write fictional stories and attempt to give them believability and gravitas by claiming to have received the information for their stories from “anonymous sources”.

And, since those stories were being debunked almost as soon as they were posted, most Americans accurately surmised that the MSM’s “anonymous sources” were the voices inside their own over-sized heads.

The failure of the Dcmocrat-controlled MSM brought them to the point where all they had left was to attempt to upstage the president in his own press conferences, a practice which they have continued during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Main Stream Media decided before the beginning of Trump’s Presidency that in order to assuage their own hurt feelings about his victory over Hillary Clinton that they would adopt the strategy of publishing unsubstantiated lie after unsubstantiated lie.

The depth of their grief and the blind rage of their ensuing temper tantrum wiped out any vestiges of journalistic integrity that remained after decades of being the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.

The situation became so obvious that even Bob Woodward, who wrote a “tell-all” book about the Trump White House (that bombed) eventually had to say something about it in order to distance himself in order to preserve his own “journalistic legacy”.

Trump has made the Media look tremendously naïve and stupid on several occasions, in scenes reminiscent of Lucy Van Pelt promising to hold the football for Charlie Brown to kick, only to pull it away at the last minute leaving a helpless Charlie Brown to wipe out, tumbling head over heels.

The Main Stream Media have not been in control of the dissemination of the news since before Trump took office…and they know it.

Average Americans have become their own reporters through the use of Social Media, while “professional journalists”, like Ms. Nuzzi, have watched their influence over the daily lives of Americans dwindle and diminish right before their very eyes.

Unfortunately though, the lies will just keep on coming from both the Democratic Party and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media.

Like the attention-seeking spoiled brats that they are, the Main Stream Media believe that they can get away with anything.

That is why grandstanding idiots like Olivia Nuzzi feel ’empowered” to show the entire world their backside and to be everything but professional during the Coronavirus Taskforce House Press Briefings, attacking President Trump with “Gotcha” questions while trying to embarrass him at every opportunity.

Grandstanding self-important unhinged Democratic Propagandists like Ms. Nuzzi are why Americans do not trust the Main Stream Media.

Americans are being battered every morning and night by Fake News about Trump and his Administration from not just the Cable News Networks, but the Big 3 Broadcast Networks as well and all of their local affiliates.

Americans want their news to be just that: Information about the events going on around them, delivered by unbiased professional reporters.

If Americans wanted Fake News, they would pick up the National Enquirer while waiting in line at the grocery store, instead of watching the news every morning before they leave for work..

If they want to see two guys yell nonsensically at each other, as they do on “Discussion Panels” on CNN and MSNBC, they will tune into the WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” or Friday Night’s “Smackdown Live”.

Americans are now living in a time when the Main Stream Media’s blatant propaganda is no longer believed at face value, as the evidence which refutes it is appearing in the live videos and photographs being shared on Facebook and other Social Media.

Average Americans are winning the war against the “New Fascism” of the Tyranny of the Minority by the sharing of information through Social Media.

Self-righteous Liberals, masquerading as Broadcast “Journalists”, like Nuzzi and the rest of the Main Stream Media, need to wake up and smell what they’re shoveling before their version of “Broadcast Journalism” goes the way of the dinosaurs…

Liberal journalist Hendrik Hertzberg courted controversy Sunday by bashing President Trump and openly questioning in a tweet: “Time for a military coup?”

After a request for comment, the left-wing New Yorker magazine reporter weakly attempted to defend himself in a tweet, claiming he was being “sarcastic.”

Hertzberg, a longtime political commentator and staff writer at the New Yorker, was a conscientious objector during the Vietnam War and later served as then-President Jimmy Carter’s chief White House speechwriter.

Over three hours after his initial tweet made waves, Hertzberg followed up by tweeting: “As somebody or other once said, I was being … sarcastic.” That was a reference to a Trump remark from last week; the president said he “was asking a question sarcastically” to coronavirus experts at the White House about using disinfectant “by injection inside or almost a cleaning.” Many of the president’s critics said they didn’t buy his explanation.

The White House has been planning to shift Trump’s public focus to the burgeoning efforts aimed at easing the economic devastation caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Days after he publicly mused that scientists should explore the injection of toxic disinfectants as a potential virus cure, Trump has now rejected the utility of his daily task force briefings, where he has created friction with scientific experts. Trump’s aides have been aiming to move the president onto more familiar ground: talking up the economy, in tighter controlled settings.

Some states have started to ease closure orders, and Trump is expected to begin to highlight his administration’s work in helping businesses and employees. Aides said the president would hold more frequent roundtables with CEOs, business owners and beneficiaries of the trillions of dollars in federal aid already approved by Congress, and begin to outline what he hopes to see in a future recovery package.

I noticed that President Trump did not hold a Press Briefing yesterday.

I don’t blame him.

Today’s “Broadcast Journalists, with a few notable exceptions, are nothing but a bunch of Democrat Minions, doing the bidding of their masters.

Just like the rest of the Far Left Democratic Party, they want to end the presidency of Donald J. Trump right now, or, at least make sure that he will not be reelected on November 3rd, 2020.

I, like millions of other Americans, have been watching Trump’s Press Briefings, glad that he was attempting to keep us informed as to what was going on during this pandemic which is affecting American and the rest of the world.

And, like other average Americans, I have been angered by the shear disrespectful arrogance of the “reporters” from CNN, CBS, MSNBC, and their fellow travelers, including some young woman from a news service affiliated with Communist China, the nation responsible for releasing this coronavirus on the world!

This generation of imbeciles who call themselves news reporters are nothing but glorified paparazzi attempting to showboat and make a name for themselves by trying to purposefully embarrass the President of the United States of America during a National Emergency which has killed tens of thousands of Americans.

New Yorker Magazine, or The New Yorker, as it is called, is nothing by a Trump-hating Liberal Rag, not fit to line the bottom of a birdcage.

Besides Hendrick Hertzberg, it also features an exceedingly unfunny political cartoonist/satirist named Andy Borowitz.

You may have seen Borowitz’s feeble efforts on Facebook Political Pages, as Liberals find him hilarious. Then again, Liberals also believe that Pelosi and Biden possess all their mental faculties.

Let’s face it. as demonstrated by the words and actions of the Main Stream Media’s representatives like Hertzberg, President Trump owes them nothing but silence.

They, like the Far Left Democratic Party Elite, are not on the side of average Americans.

They are on their own side,

And, they are determined to destroy anyone who stands in their way of “radically changing” our Constitutional Republic into something that it was never meant to be.

NYC’s de Blasio Distributing 500,000 Halal Meals to Muslims During Ramadan After Threatening to Permanently Close Churches and Synagogues

Liberals are so out of touch with average Americans that they view Traditional American Values, such as Christianity, to be antiquated and unnecessary in their future political vision of a Democratic Socialist America.

Case in point…

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Thursday that the city will take steps to provide for its Muslim community amid the coronavirus by distributing “over half a million meals” during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The 500,000 Halal meals will be distributed at 32 Department of Education buildings and other community organizations during Ramadan, Bloomberg News reported. Ramadan began Thursday evening and will end the evening of May 23.

“One of Ramadan’s most noble callings is to feed the hungry,” de Blasio said Thursday during a press briefing. “To remember to be there for those in need. And that is now harder than ever now that people can’t go to their mosques.”

He had a different tone for Christians and Jews

“We all wish that the celebrations of Easter and Passover could have been so different,” de Blasio said during the briefing.

However, many Christian and Jewish New Yorkers may find that statement unsettling, given the mayor’s harsh warning for the faithful from those religions at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in the city.

You may remember that de Blasio threatened to permanently close churches and synagogues that dared gather together in violation of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s shelter-in-place order.

TheBlaze’s Chris Enloe noted that de Blasio’s threat was launched only hours before Jews were to meet for their weekly Shabbat gatherings.

Anything else?

This is not the first time that New York officials have appeared to give preferential treatment to Muslims in the state over Christians and Jews.

Earlier this week, TheBlaze reported on a New York mosque that remains open for daily prayers in the upstate even as the state’s current executive order broadly bans all “non-essential gatherings of individuals of any size for any reason.”

The news came as churches across the country have faced growing criticism and, in many cases, punishment for continuing to gather amid the pandemic.

De Blasio threatening to keep New York City’s Churches and Synagogues closed forever does not surprise me at all.

Do you remember when New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said that Conservative Republicans,

Right-to-life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay — if that’s who they are, they have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.

And New York City’s Communist Mayor, Bill DeBlasio, publicly agreed with his remarks?

Imagine if the Governors of the states of North Carolina and Mississippi had proclaimed that all Democrats, Liberals, and libertarians, gay or straight “had no place in the state of Mississippi because that’s not who Mississippians are”.

Oh, Lawdy.

Democrat Pundits, and Liberal and small “l” libertarian Politicians, on both sides of the aisle, would have a bigger conniption than that of Rosie O’Donnell, if she were banned from America’s all-you-can-eat buffets.

Concerning the question about treating Muslims differently, yes, it is ideal to treat people the way you would want them to treat you.

However, while I have met some very nice American Muslims, I have also been inside a mosque where I was looked at as if they wanted to take a scimitar to my neck.

If Moderate Muslims are not behind their radical brethren’s eternal jihad against us infidels, they need to get their mugs in front of the cable news networks’ TV cameras and say so…because all I see representing them when I turn on the news, are the abrasive members of CAIR, blaming America for all the world’s troubles.

Which is ironic, because the Former President of the United States of America is still demonstrably Islam’s biggest supporter in this country, as so aptly proven by his refusal to participate in the March Against Radical Islam, led by 50 World Leaders, held in Paris, France after the horrible Islamic Terrorist Attack there.

Are “The Smartest People in the Room” so contrary, as to not realize that Radical Islam punishes every single social issue that American Liberals so “righteously” defend in this nation?

The maddening thing is that every time you challenge Liberals on this fact, they try to equate Radical Islam with American Christianity.

Frankly, the ignorance of Modern American Liberals blows my mind.

There is a very important difference between being an average Christian American and a Muslim, living in America.

When Christians become “radicalized”, we want to share the testimony of what God has done for us through His love, with everyone we meet. We get involved in our local church and we become better fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and American Citizens.

When Muslims become “radicalized”, they want to “kill the Infidels” in the name of “Allah the Merciful”.

In the case of the Chechen Muslim brothers who bombed the Boston Marathon, their immersion into Radical Islam led them to “kill the infidels” that horrendous day.

In the case of the barbarians of ISIS, it turned them into doppelgangers of the Nazi Butchers of Dachau.

For Liberals like Mayor de Blasio to deny that is disingenuous at best, and just plain dangerous at worst.

Trump to Convene an “Opening Our Country” Taskforce of Doctors and Business Leaders…Watch Those Who Object

President Trump said Friday that choosing when to move to reopen the U.S. economy amid the coronavirus pandemic would be “the biggest decision I’ve ever had to make.”

“I want to get it open as soon as possible,” Trump told reporters at Friday’s briefing with members of the White House task force. “This country was meant to be open and vibrant and great.”

The president added that he would formally convene an “Opening our Country” task force April 14 that will be comprised of doctors and business leaders. According to Trump, the second, smaller task force would “include names that you have a lot of respect for.”

In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the governors of 42 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have issued so-called “stay-at-home” orders advising residents to remain indoors except to perform essential work, duties or chores.

Those orders, as well as federal social distancing guidelines and restrictions on public gatherings, have ground large portions of the U.S. economy to a halt. According to the Labor Department, more than 16.8 million people have filed for unemployment insurance since the middle of March, when the federal coronavirus guidelines went into effect.

As of Friday afternoon, Johns Hopkins University said that there were more than 486,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in the U.S. and more than 18,000 deaths caused by the virus. More than 40 percent of U.S. deaths have happened in New York state, which reported 777 new deaths on Friday.

Trump made a point Friday of saying that he would continue to listen to health experts like Drs. Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx while considering when to relax the federal guidance. Health experts have warned that if the country rolls back restrictions too quickly, case levels could once again begin to soar, especially without widespread testing to determine who might be a carrier of the virus.

“I listen to them about everything,” the president said, adding: “We’re not doing anything until we know that this country is going be healthy. We don’t want to go back and start doing it over again.”

While the new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms for most people, for some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness or death. And research has shown that people can be highly infectious even if they are not displaying symptoms.

Fauci, the nation’s top infectious-diseases expert, told CNN earlier Friday that there will be coronavirus cases whenever the restrictions are relaxed.

“When we decide, at a proper time, when we’re going to be relaxing some of the restrictions, there’s no doubt you’re going to see cases,” he said. “The question is how you respond to them.”

The Chinese Coronavirus “Invasion” has indeed been a crisis.

A crisis intensified by faulty modeling and those who embrace a political ideology which values a Nanny State-style Federal Government over individual freedom.

And, these leaders, both covertly and overtly, use the power which their leadership role bring them to attempt to strength the power of the political party which they support at the expense of the president, the American economy, and last but not least, the American people.

Now, don’t get me wrong. every death brought about by the coronavirus is a serious matter regardless of what country they were living in.

However, America strength and continued existence as a nation relies on a strong, vibrant economy, such as the one we were experiencing before the coronavirus hit out shores.

It is essential that Americans be allowed to go back to work as soon as safely possible.

Our American Workforce, their inventiveness, work ethic, and passion are what drives the American Engine of Capitalism, an engine that was finally tuned up and allowed to run full out by a president who understands its power and its role in our country’s place in the world.

There is a reason why China, since the Obama Administration first allowed them to, has sought our brightest minds to come work for THEM.

American Ingenuity is the stuff of legends.

Our forefathers were thinkers AND doers.

We are a society which has always been on the move, whether it was from east to west, north to south, or to the moon and back.

While we are a nation of motivated individuals, we are also a people who can not thrive in isolation.

Dr. Fauci has claimed that Americans will not be shaking hands in greeting each other or sealing a business deal.

Wanna bet?

Americans are made of stronger stuff than that.

When the president and his new taskforce let us know the plans for getting America back to work, there will not only be a lot of handshaking going on, I will bet you that there will be actual hugging going on as well.

And, that will be from the wives and mothers ready for their husband and their children to be out of the house for a while, instead of under foot driving them crazy.

By the way, if you notice those who are calling for Americans to stay under quarantine the longest, they are usually the same ones who wanted America to fail since Trump got elected President.

CDC Says That Some Essential Workers Exposed to COVID-19 But Not Showing Symptoms Can Go Back to Work…That’s a Good Beginning…

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced new coronavirus guidance Wednesday saying some essential workers who have been exposed to COVID-19 but are not showing symptoms can return to work.

Each worker would need to take his or her temperature twice a day for signs of a fever and wear a face mask at work and out in public to prevent the spread of the virus, Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the CDC, said at Wednesday’s White House coronavirus briefing.

Redfield said the guidance was an effort to “really begin to get these critical workers back into the workforce so that we won’t have worker shortage in these critical industries,” including first responders, health-care workers, food supply workers and more.

The CDC also was encouraging employers to take their employees’ temperatures at the beginning of the workday and send home any workers who showed symptoms. In addition, officials said buildings should increase their air exchange and increase the frequency of how they clean common rooms and areas.

Employees still have been discouraged from congregating in break rooms, lunchrooms or any large gathering spaces, Redfield said.

The new considerations by the CDC signaled the slightest hope for a return to normalcy in the U.S. even as the death toll reached 13,929 and the country continues to grapple with 404,352 cases of the virus.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” on Wednesday that if the social distancing strategies implemented through the end of April are successful in slowing the curve and spread of coronavirus, the government could start to peel back some of the restrictions in the weeks to come.

“If, in fact, we are successful, it makes sense to at least plan what a re-entry into normality would look like,” Fauci told Fox News. “That doesn’t mean we’re going to do it right now, but it means we need to be prepared to ease into that.”

Even though “we’re starting to see some glimmers of hope,” the United States needs to “keep pushing on the mitigation strategies,” Fauci said, reiterating that tactics such as social distancing need to continue because “there is no doubt that that’s having a positive impact on the dynamics of the outbreak.”

Fauci, a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said that although the death toll is staggering in the U.S. — and third to only Italy and Spain with the highest number of deceased — “the deaths generally lag by a couple of weeks behind what’s fueling the outbreak, namely the number of new cases and the number of hospitalizations.”

Still, health officials, including Fauci, remain skeptical of reopening the country’s economy too soon, as recent studies suggest that some people who are infected with the virus do not show any symptoms, while others who have developed symptoms of COVID-19 and recovered may remain contagious.

Fauci told reporters during a press briefing Sunday that between 25 and 50 percent of infected Americans are not exhibiting symptoms of the virus.

“That is an estimate. I don’t have any scientific data yet to say that,” he added.

Good news for “essential workers”.

However, for those who suffer from out-of-control Trump Derangement Syndrome, the Coronavirus Outbreak and the resulting economic blow America has taken, (and, I can’t believe I am saying this about fellow Americans) has been just the “break” that they have been looking for.

I absolutely hate to speak of this horrible pandemic, which looks as if it may not take as many American lives as was predicted, thank God, in political terms.

However, if the external enemies of America, like the Chinese Government, and her internal enemies, who lust for the political power of the White House in order to turn us into a Marxist nation had their way, I absolutely believe that they would cheer another Great Depression, such as my parents struggled through with their parents., in order to regain the White House.

Look at what we have witnessed so far:

Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff wanting to form committees to attempt to set up another impeachment of President Trump for anything they thing he may have done wrong in the handling of this pandemic.

The Governor of New York wanting more ventilators while thousands were found that had already been delivered.

The Main Stream Media attacking the President and Vice-President during the Coronavirus Taskforce Daily Briefings and any other opportunity they have.

China lying about the Coronavirus and the head of the WHO swearing to it.

The cost of human life during this pandemic has been horrible enough without it being made into a political weapon.

It is time to start slowly and judiciously reclaiming our nation and to restart what was a booming economy.

We are Americans.

Democrats Pushing for Illegal Immigrants to Receive Coronavirus Stimulus Checks

Democrats certainly do have a hard time understanding the word “illegal”.

A group of Democratic lawmakers is advocating for undocumented immigrants to qualify for direct cash assistance due to coronavirus.

The $2.2 trillion CARES Act, in its current form, does not allow individuals who filed taxes for 2018 or 2019 using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to qualify for a stimulus check. Many undocumented immigrants use an ITIN to file income taxes in place of a Social Security number.

Reps. Raúl Grijalva (Arizona), Lou Correa and Judy Chu (both from California) have introduced the Leave No Taxpayer Behind Act, which would amend the coronavirus stimulus bill to allow every taxpayer to receive a $1,200 stimulus check, including undocumented immigrants who filed taxes with an ITIN. Rep. Jamie Raskin (Maryland) formally joined the bill as a co-sponsor on Sunday.

“COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate. It impacts all communities and people of all backgrounds. Our relief programs shouldn’t discriminate against those who need help during this crisis, and this legislation ensures that immigrants with ITINs can get the economic relief they deserve,” Grijalva said in a statement.

To support her position on stimulus checks, Chu said coronavirus “does not care” about an individual’s immigration status.

“The CARES Act is meant to help our whole economy survive this crisis. You cannot do that by excluding entire segments of the population. This virus does not care about immigration status,” she said.

“Making it impossible for them to receive the same benefit we are sending to everyone else just means those immigrants will have a harder time affording food or rent, and that leaves us all worse off. I hope to see this corrected in the next relief package,” Chu added.

Correa said that “every individual taxpayer, irrespective of citizenship status, needs government assistance now.”

According to Raskin’s office, other Democratic lawmakers who signed on as co-sponsors of the bill include Rep. Joaquin Castro of Texas, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rep. Alce Hastings of Florida and Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.

Don’t you just love how magnanimous Democrats are with the money of American Taxpayers?

So, by giving an individual, who has broken our laws, by entering our Sovereign Nation illegally, to receive the same Coronavirus Stimulus Payout as American citizens, these Far Left Democrats somehow believe that they are “taking care” of dutifully performing their sworn duties as regards “American citizens”?

Sure they are.

And Rosie O’Donnell has a “bikini body”. (Let that image settle in for a moment.)

Is breaking into our country, something that should be rewarded?

No.

What makes the current influx of illegal immigrants exempt from the rules and regulations that every other generation of immigrants to this country had to abide by in order to become legal citizens of the greatest nation in the world? By being here illegally, they are not entitled to the same rights as natural-born or naturalized American citizens.

And, yet, even as I write this, they are in our hospitals, taking advantage of our charity and the finest health care system in the world, and driving our streets, with either forged drivers licenses or those obtained from states who have acquiesced and given them to these “undocumented workers”.

This is in no way a human rights issue. Freedom is God-given, and with freedom comes responsibility. With citizenship comes responsibility, like paying taxes and making your own way.

Speaking of which, my concerns about the Democrats’ coddling of the illegal aliens and the often-proposed “Path to Citizenship” business, can be divided into three bullet points. (Hey, I’m a Former VP of Marketing. What do you expect?)

1. Patriotism – Will these new “citizens” be willing to fly our flag above theirs? Will they be willing, if called upon, to serve in our Armed Forces, at home or abroad? Will they love this country, more than the one they left?

2. Loyalty – When these “new Americans” achieve the right to vote, are they all going to vote Democrat, so that they can receive more FREE STUFF? Will they honestly embrace our sovereign nation as their new home? Or, will they remain loyal to their country of origin?

3.  Immigration – Are we rewarding illegal behavior, while at the same time, insulting all of the brave souls who have come here legally, seeking a better life for themselves and their families?

I understand that people want a better life for themselves and their children.  Our ancestors were all immigrants in this land, except for American Indians, and they got here by crossing the Bering Straight. But there is a huge difference between immigrating here legally and sneaking in illegally, between assimilating into an existing culture, and insisting on replacing a country’s existing culture with that of the country you left.

I’m all for assisting anyone in becoming a legal citizen of the United States, if that is their wish.  But, it must be done the right way, and they must accept responsibility for their illegal entry, show a willingness to learn our language, and embrace our American way of life, including respecting the American Flag.

The Far Left Democratic Politicians who want to give our money to those who have broken our laws exhibit all the symptoms of a disease that I’ve noticed that all of the Far Left exhibit: Narcissistic-Reality-Denial-Over-Educated-Beyond-Their-Intelligence Syndrome. The patient tends to rely on his self-assumed superior intellect, denying the reality of the world around him to the point of forsaking both his allegiance to and concern for the people of the country that has provided him with both his livelihood and his well-being.

This syndrome seems to be extremely pernicious in academic and political figures. The patient actually believes that he is an expert on everything, to the point where he can write and distribute instructional theses to seasoned professionals while lecturing them in a didactic manner.

The only treatment for Narcissistic-Reality-Denial-Over-Educated-Beyond-Their-Intelligence Syndrome at this time is “refudiation” and isolation. The people who are being affected by these individuals must, in a clear and over-whelming manner, let the patient know that they do not accept their attitude or actions and put them in a “time-out”.

In the case of whoever is chosen to be the Democratic Presidential Candidate in the 2020 Election, Americans must send a clear rejection of the anti-American Far Left Democratic Party and their Marxist Political Ideology, when we vote in the 2020 Election by re-electing President Donald J. Trump..

Y’know…at the rate that these educated-beyond-their-intelligence, imperious, Marxism-loving, “Social Justice Warrior” buffoons keep obviously virtue-signaling about wanting to intentionally run our nation into the ground, I fully expect each and every one of them, one day soon, after the Coronavirus Pandemic ends, to respond to an economic question at one of their campaign stops, when asked about the rights and welfare of our veterans and our average hard-working American Citizens, to answer:

Let them eat arugula!

House Voice Vote on Coronavirus Relief Bill to Happen This Morning…Finally

The Washington Post reports that

House leaders sought to expedite the emergency $2 trillion relief bill aimed at mitigating the financial havoc caused by the coronavirus pandemic amid uncertainty about whether a renegade lawmaker could delay sending the measure to President Trump.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) agreed to approve the measure with a voice vote Friday that would not require all 430 current members of the House to travel to the Capitol, given that two lawmakers have contracted the disease and others are self-quarantining due to exposure to confirmed carriers.

The leadership also is taking meticulous steps to change the protocol for debate and voting to ensure the safety of lawmakers.

But at least one lawmaker is considering upending the plans for swift passage. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) said Thursday that he opposed the bill, approved unanimously by the Senate on Wednesday, as it would add to the national debt. The libertarian lawmaker also is concerned that voting without a quorum present — the majority of the House chamber — would violate the Constitution. He said he has yet to decide whether to press the issue, which could delay a House vote until late Saturday or Sunday.

At the White House on Thursday, Trump acknowledged that one House member could slow the process.

“You might have one grandstander, and for that we’ll have to come back and take a little more time and it’ll pass, it’ll just take a little longer. But let’s see whether or not we have a grandstander,” Trump said.

The planned vote Friday will culminate nearly two weeks of often heated debate about how to structure a sweeping bill that is attempting to provide hospitals and the health industry the tools to arrest the escalating spread of the virus and to shore up an economy that has gone into a free fall.

The Labor Department reported Thursday that unemployment claims topped 3.3 million just last week in another blow to the economy.

The sprawling legislation would send checks to more than 150 million American households, set up enormous loan programs for businesses large and small, pump billions of dollars into unemployment insurance programs, greatly boost spending on hospitals and much more.

Is it just me or does it seem as if it has taken forever to get to this moment?

The delays caused by the grandstanding of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Far Left Democrats were insensitive to the needs of average Americans and just downright arrogant.

Between you and me, I’m thinking that they came around because their internal polling showed that the majority of Americans did not appreciate their politicizing the bill one little bit.

As President Trump has mentioned several times, average Americans have been hurt and hurt hard by this invisible enemy.

They certainly do not need to be hurt by those who have promised to work on their behalf.

The Democrats seemed to be oblivious as to the needs of Americans.

That is why I believe that they were given a reality check when their internal polling numbers came in.

Now I fully realize that there is still some pork left in this bill. However, there is hardly ever a “clean” bill passed in Congress.

And nowadays, considering that the Democrats are the majority in the House of Representatives, there HAD to be some concessions made in order to pass the Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill.

Once this gets passed, Congress will begin work on Phase 4 of the Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill.

That is when the Republicans will have to find their spines because as sure as I am sitting here in my man-cave in NW Mississippi, Pelosi, the Squad, Chuck U. Schumer, and the rest of the Far Left Democrats will load that bill with every special interest group payoff that they were not able to get in the Phase 3 bill and more.

For now, though, this average American is just thankful to our Creator (that’s for Joe Biden) that we have made it to this point.

We are going to be alright, America.

Senate Passes Phase 3 of Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill 96-0…The Ball is in Pelosi’s Court Now

Last night, the Senate finally passed Phase 3 of the Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill with a unanimous vote of 96-0.

FoxNews.com reports that

The final bill text will use 2019 tax returns, if available, or 2018 tax returns to assess income for determining how much aid individuals receive. Those who did not file tax returns can use a Form SSA-1099, Social Security Benefit Statement or Form RRB-1099, a Social Security Equivalent Benefit Statement.

The bill would provide one-time direct payments to Americans of $1,200 per adult making up to $75,000 a year, and $2,400 to a married couple making up to $150,000, with $500 payments per child.

Gone are mentions of mandatory early voting, ballot harvesting, requirements that federal agencies review their usage of “minority banks,” and provisions curbing airlines’ carbon emissions — a Pelosi demand that even Saikat Chakrabarti, the former chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and an author of the Green New Deal, called “ridiculous.”

“What’s not in the Senate’s bipartisan coronavirus bill: Pelosi’s outrageous wish list,” wrote GOP national spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington. “0 mentions of ‘diversity.’ 0 mentions of ’emissions.’ 0 mentions of ‘early voting.’ 0 mentions of ‘climate change.’ Good!”

At the same time, the bill satisfied some Democrat policy goals. Page 524 of the bill text indicates that many businesses that take a government loan would be obligated to remain neutral in any “union organizing effort” during the loan — a major giveaway to unions. Affected businesses would have between 500 and 10,000 employees.

Also in the final bill text, $25 million would still be allocated for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. President Trump, speaking at the White House coronavirus briefing earlier Wednesday, said that he understood the provision was necessary because Democrats demanded some concessions in order to get the stimulus bill passed.

Pelosi was the first to demand the money in her own bill, which Republicans said was full of unseemly payouts for well-connected special interests at a time of national crisis.

The Kennedy Center put out a statement Wednesday evening saying it was “extraordinarily grateful that Congress has recognized our institution’s unique status and has included funding in its legislation to ensure that we can reopen our doors and stages as soon as we are able.”

“For an opera house, you sure are tone-deaf,” responded blogger Jim Treacher, after telling the Kennedy Center where to shove its statement.

Aside from direct payments to most Americans, the bill would expand unemployment benefits and provide a $367 billion program for small businesses to keep making payroll while workers are forced to stay home.

The movement came as stocks posted their first back-to-back gains in weeks, but much of Wednesday’s early rally faded as the hitch developed in the Senate. The market is down nearly 27 percent since setting a record high a month ago.

Amid the debate, presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders said he might try to torpedo the Senate’s stimulus package. Republican senators dropped their objections about what they called a “massive drafting error” related to unemployment benefits.

“In my view, it would be an outrage to prevent working-class Americans to receive the emergency unemployment assistance included in this legislation,” Sanders said in a statement, also posted on social media.

“Unless these Republican Senators drop their objections, I am prepared to put a hold on this bill until stronger conditions are imposed on the $500 billion corporate welfare fund to make sure that any corporation receiving financial assistance under this legislation does not lay off workers, cut wages or benefits, ship jobs overseas, or pay workers poverty wages,” he continued.

Sanders took to the Senate floor late Wednesday at approximately 9:30 p.m. ET to say he was concerned that the administration would be able to “expend $500 billion in virtually any way they want” under the legislation. In fact, the administration would not have such unilateral control.

…The package is intended as relief for an economy spiraling into recession or worse and a nation facing a grim toll from an infection that’s killed nearly 20,000 people worldwide. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, asked how long the aid would keep the economy afloat, said: “We’ve anticipated three months. Hopefully, we won’t need this for three months.”

Underscoring the effort’s sheer magnitude, the bill finances a response with a price tag that equals half the size of the entire $4 trillion annual federal budget.

“A fight has arrived on our shores,” said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “We did not seek it, we did not want it, but now we’re going to win it.”

One of the last issues to close in the bill concerned $500 billion for guaranteed, subsidized loans to larger industries, including a fight over how generous to be with the airlines, given that Democrats wanted to restrict their carbon emissions. Hospitals would get significant help as well.

“There is a whole concern in our country that if we’re giving tens of billions of dollars to the airlines, that we could at least have a shared value about what happens to the environment,” Pelosi said Tuesday.

But, support for Democrats’ climate-change push in the stimulus bill withered Tuesday. The former chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Saikat Chakrabarti, wrote on Twitter in response to Pelosi’s comments: “I helped write the #GreenNewDeal and I think this is ridiculous. The tiny little emissions standard increase doesn’t even do anything meaningful to stave off climate change and gives the @GOP leverage to get rid of real help for working people. Solve the problem at hand. Hospitals would get significant help as well.”

Why is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi so skittish about signing this bill which will actually help average Americans, including her constituency?

Well, it is reported that behind the scenes, Pelosi is catching a lot of flak from the Social Justice Warriors in the House, including AOC and the rest of the Squad.

That would explain why the bill which she wrote had so much money going to special interest groups and projects which have nothing to do with the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic.

According to Brian Darling, writing for Townhall.com in a post published on Tuesday…

One member of ‘The Squad’ wants to use the Pelosi produced ‘stimulus’ bill to eliminate banks. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), one of the leaders of the Democratic Socialists in the House, wants Pelosi to insert legislation into the stimulus to damage America’s banking system. Tlaib’s bill, the Automatic BOOST to the Communities Act, would provide a pre-loaded $2,000 government issued debit card to every person in America with a new $1,000 deposit every month until a year after the passing of the coronavirus crisis.

Needless to say, that “brilliant” plan did not make it into the final bill. Thank God.

The Democrats are being destroyed by a monster of their own making.

The Democrats arrogance has become their undoing.

Their erroneous belief that they are the smartest people in any room they walk into has caused them to believe that the majority of Americans believe as they do, embracing he politics of Marxism and the “diversity” of special interest groups.

They learned nothing from the night of November 8, 2016.

And now, their own Trump Derangement Syndrome coupled with the “Democratic Socialist”/SJW Movement, is dividing and slowly consuming the Democratic Party from within, as the Democratic Elite like Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and Chuck Schumer are dong whatever they have to in order to hold on to their power within their own party, by appeasing Social Justice Warriors like the Squad.

Unfortunately for the Democratic Elite, their party has moved so Far to the left of the Political Spectrum that average Americans have no respect left for them whatsoever.

And, nominating an almost 80-year old man struggling with the onset of Dementia as their 2020 Presidential Candidate will not help the Democrats regain the trust of the American voters at all.

And, if they dump Biden for Cuomo, American voters are going to have a problem with his Liberal arrogance and the fact that he supports late term abortion.

If the alcoholic Speaker of the House can temporarily stop her two remaining brain cells from fighting to the death and achieve a moment of clarity, she will realize that she must make sure that the Phase 3 Coronavirus Stimulus Relief Bill passes when it is voted on this Friday morning…

…or the Democratic Party will go the way of the Whigs.

Which, at this point, would probably be a good thing.
