Trump Signs Bibles in ‘Bama, Libs Freak Out…Do They Know That Church Services Used to Be Held in the Capitol Building?

Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face. -President Ronald Reagan

FoxNews.com reports that

President Donald Trump was just doing what he could to raise spirits when he signed Bibles at an Alabama church for survivors of a deadly tornado outbreak, many religious leaders say, though some are offended and others say he could have handled it differently.

Hershael York, dean of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Theology in Louisville, Ky., said he didn’t have a problem with Trump signing Bibles, like former presidents have, because he was asked and because it was important to the people who were asking.

“Though we don’t have a national faith, there is faith in our nation, and so it’s not at all surprising that people would have politicians sign their Bibles,” he said. “Those Bibles are meaningful to them and apparently these politicians are, too.”

But the Rev. Donnie Anderson, executive minister of the Rhode Island State Council of Churches, said she was offended by the way Trump scrawled his signature Friday as he autographed Bibles and other things, including hats, and posed for photos. She viewed it, she said, as a “calculated political move” by the Republican president to court his evangelical voting base.

Presidents have a long history of signing Bibles, though earlier presidents typically signed them as gifts to send with a spiritual message. President Ronald Reagan signed a Bible that was sent secretly to Iranian officials in 1986. President Franklin Roosevelt signed the family Bible his attorney general used to take the oath of office in 1939.

It would have been different, Anderson said, if Trump had signed a Bible out of the limelight for someone with whom he had a close connection.

“For me, the Bible is a very important part of my faith, and I don’t think it should be used as a political ploy,” she said. “I saw it being used just as something out there to symbolize his support for the evangelical community, and it shouldn’t be used in that way. People should have more respect for Scripture.”

York said that he, personally, would not ask a politician to sign a Bible, but that he has been asked to sign Bibles after he preaches. It feels awkward, he said, but he doesn’t refuse.

“If it’s meaningful to them to have signatures in their Bible, I’m willing to do that,” he said.

Trump visited Alabama on Friday to survey the devastation and pay respects to tornado victims. The tornado carved a path of destruction nearly a mile wide, killing 23 people, including four children and a couple in their 80s, with 10 victims belonging to a single extended family.

At the Providence Baptist Church in Smiths Station, Ala., the Rev. Rusty Sowell said, the president’s visit was uplifting and will help bring attention to a community that will need a long time to recover.

Before leaving the church, Trump posed for a photograph with a fifth-grade volunteer and signed the child’s Bible, said Ada Ingram, a local volunteer. The president also signed her sister’s Bible, Ingram said. In photos from the visit, Trump is shown signing the cover of a Bible.

Trump should have at least signed inside in a less ostentatious way, said the Rev. Dr. Kevin Cassiday-Maloney.

“It just felt like hubris,” said Cassiday-Maloney, pastor at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fargo, North Dakota. “It almost felt like a desecration of the holy book to put his signature on the front writ large, literally.”

He doesn’t think politicians should sign Bibles, he said, because it could be seen as a blurring of church and state and an endorsement of Christianity over other religions.

It would have been out of line if Trump had brought Bibles and given them out, but that wasn’t the case, said James Coffin, executive director of the Interfaith Council of Central Florida.

“Too much is being made out of something that doesn’t deserve that kind of attention,” he said.

Bill Leonard, the founding dean and professor of divinity emeritus at the Wake Forest University School of Divinity in Winston-Salem, N.C., woke up to Facebook posts Saturday morning by former students who were upset about Trump signing the Bibles because they don’t view him as an appropriate example of spiritual guidance.

But, Leonard said, it’s important to remember that signing Bibles is an old tradition, particularly in southern churches.

Leonard said he would have viewed it as more problematic if the signings were done at a political rally. He doesn’t see how Trump could have refused at the church.

“It would’ve been worse if he had said no because it would’ve seemed unkind, and this was at least one way he could show his concern along with his visit,” he said. “In this setting, where tragedy has occurred and where he comes for this brief visit, we need to have some grace about that for these folks.”

Amen.

Gentle Readers, did you notice in the above article that those who objected were representatives of Liberal Churches?

First,, there is NO SUCH THING as “Separation of Church and State” in the Constitution of the United States of America.

Second, President Trump was honoring God by signing children’s Bibles in that small Alabama town.

Christianity has played a predominant role in the building of our nation.  In fact, the Capitol building itself was used for church services, even before Congress moved into the building, and continued to be used for Sunday Church Services until well after the Civil War.

The approval of the Capitol for church was given by both the House and the Senate on December 4, 1800, with House approval being given by Speaker of the House, Theodore Sedgwick, and Senate approval being given by the President of the Senate, Thomas Jefferson, whose approval came while he was still officially the Vice- President but after he had just been elected President.

According to David Barton at wallbuilders.com:

Jefferson attended church at the Capitol while he was Vice President 5 and also throughout his presidency. The first Capitol church service that Jefferson attended as President was a service preached by Jefferson’s friend, the Rev. John Leland, on January 3, 1802. 6 Significantly, Jefferson attended that Capitol church service just two days after he penned his famous letter containing the “wall of separation between church and state” metaphor.

U. S. Rep. Manasseh Cutler, who also attended church at the Capitol, recorded in his own diary that “He [Jefferson] and his family have constantly attended public worship in the Hall.” Mary Bayard Smith, another attendee at the Capitol services, confirmed: “Mr. Jefferson, during his whole administration, was a most regular attendant.” She noted that Jefferson even had a designated seat at the Capitol church: “The seat he chose the first Sabbath, and the adjoining one (which his private secretary occupied), were ever afterwards by the courtesy of the congregation, left for him and his secretary.” Jefferson was so committed to those services that he would not even allow inclement weather to dissuade him; as Rep. Cutler noted: “It was very rainy, but his [Jefferson’s] ardent zeal brought him through the rain and on horseback to the Hall.” Other diary entries confirm Jefferson’s attendance in spite of bad weather.

…Jefferson was not the only President to attend church at the Capitol. His successor, James Madison, also attended church at the Capitol. 14 However, there was a difference in the way the two arrived for services. Observers noted that Jefferson arrived at church on horseback 15 (it was 1.6 miles from the White House to the Capitol). However, Madison arrived for church in a coach and four. In fact, British diplomat Augustus Foster, who attended services at the Capitol, gave an eloquent description of President Madison arriving at the Capitol for church in a carriage drawn by four white horses.

The series of cacophonous thuds you just heard were the “I’m-smarter than-you” Modern American Marxists…err…Liberals falling off of their chairs.  You see, they will argue until they are blue in the face that Jefferson and Madison were not Christians, and our founding documents were not based on a Judeo-Christian system of beliefs.

Then, they go out to feed the unicorn in their backyard.

Jefferson told his friend, William Bradford (who served as Attorney General under President Washington), to make sure of his own spiritual salvation:

[A] watchful eye must be kept on ourselves lest, while we are building ideal monuments of renown and bliss here, we neglect to have our names enrolled in the Annals of Heaven.

Concerning Christianity, Jefferson said:

The doctrines of Jesus are simple, and tend all to the happiness of man.

The practice of morality being necessary for the well being of society, He [God] has taken care to impress its precepts so indelibly on our hearts that they shall not be effaced by the subtleties of our brain. We all agree in the obligation of the moral principles of Jesus and nowhere will they be found delivered in greater purity than in His discourses.

I am a Christian in the only sense in which He wished anyone to be: sincerely attached to His doctrines in preference to all others.

I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

But, what about Jefferson’s re-writing of the Bible, leaving out Jesus’ miracles, you ask? David Barton answered that question in 2001, in a letter to a newspaper, in response to a reader:

The reader, as do many others, claimed that Jefferson omitted all miraculous events of Jesus from his “Bible.” Rarely do those who make this claim let Jefferson speak for himself. Jefferson’s own words explain that his intent for that book was not for it to be a “Bible,” but rather for it to be a primer for the Indians on the teachings of Christ (which is why Jefferson titled that work, “The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth”). What Jefferson did was to take the “red letter” portions of the New Testament and publish these teachings in order to introduce the Indians to Christian morality. And as President of the United States, Jefferson signed a treaty with the Kaskaskia tribe wherein he provided—at the government’s expense—Christian missionaries to the Indians. In fact, Jefferson himself declared, “I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus.” While many might question this claim, the fact remains that Jefferson called himself a Christian, not a deist.

The other Founding Father whom today’s Liberals claim was an Atheist is James Madison.

Per David Barton:

James Madison trained for ministry with the Rev. Dr. John Witherspoon, and Madison’s writings are replete with declarations of his faith in God and in Christ. In fact, for proof of this, one only need read his letter to Attorney General Bradford wherein Madison laments that public officials are not bold enough about their Christian faith in public and that public officials should be “fervent advocates in the cause of Christ.” And while Madison did allude to a “wall of separation,” contemporary writers frequently refuse to allow Madison to provide his own definition of that “wall.” According to Madison, the purpose of that “wall” was only to prevent Congress from passing a national law to establish a national religion.

Also, as this writing shows, Madison wanted all public officials – including Bradford – to be unashamed concerning their Christian beliefs and testimony:

I have sometimes thought there could not be a stronger testimony in favor of religion or against temporal enjoyments, even the most rational and manly, than for men who occupy the most honorable and gainful departments and [who] are rising in reputation and wealth, publicly to declare their unsatisfactoriness by becoming fervent advocates in the cause of Christ; and I wish you may give in your evidence in this way.

Did you know that Madison was a member of the committee that authored the 1776 Virginia Bill of Rights and approved of its clause declaring that:

It is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other.  ?

And, per Barton, Madison’s proposed wording for the First Amendment demonstrates that he opposed only the establishment of a federal denomination, not public religious activities.  The proposal reads:

The civil rights of none shall be abridged on account of religious belief or worship, nor shall any national religion be established.

But, wait.  There’s more:

In 1789, Madison served on the Congressional committee which authorized, approved, and selected paid Congressional chaplains.

In 1812, President Madison signed a federal bill which economically aided a Bible Society in its goal of the mass distribution of the Bible.

Finally, throughout his Presidency (1809-1816), Madison endorsed public and official religious expressions by issuing several proclamations for national days of prayer, fasting, and thanksgiving.

So, if you run into one of those individuals who, when it comes to accepting the Faith of our Founding Fathers and that fact that President Trump was doing exactly what those noble men would have done in that same situation in that church in Alabama, proves that denial is not just a river in Egypt, you can respond with one or all of three things:

1.  Quote from this article.

2.  Give him/her this link to wallbuilders.com.

3.  Show them this excellent video, in which David Barton conducts a historical tour of the Capitol Building.

God Bless America and God Bless President Trump!

Controlling the Narrative: Dems Block Fox News From Hosting 2020 Presidential Primary Debates

fiduciary_rule003_042816

FoxNews.com reports that

The Democratic National Committee has barred Fox News from hosting its presidential primary debates, prompting the network to urge the party to reconsider.

“We hope the DNC will reconsider its decision to bar Chris Wallace, Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, all of whom embody the ultimate journalistic integrity and professionalism, from moderating a Democratic presidential debate. They’re the best debate team in the business and they offer candidates an important opportunity to make their case to the largest TV news audience in America, which includes many persuadable voters,” Fox News Senior Vice President Bill Sammon said in a statement.

Earlier in the day, DNC Chairman Tom Perez announced the party would not allow Fox News to host primary debates, claiming they would not be “fair and neutral” forums for the candidates.

“I believe that a key pathway to victory is to continue to expand our electorate and reach all voters,” Perez said in a statement to The Washington Post that cited a critical article in The New Yorker. “That is why I have made it a priority to talk to a broad array of potential media partners, including Fox News. Recent reporting in the New Yorker on the inappropriate relationship between President Trump, his administration and Fox News has led me to conclude that the network is not in a position to host a fair and neutral debate for our candidates. Therefore, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the 2020 Democratic primary debates.”

While some Fox News Channel opinion hosts have come under fire for ties to the Trump administration, Wallace, Baier and MacCallum are anchors from the news division who have been praised for their handling of past debates. In 2016, Wallace moderated a presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Reacting to the DNC’s decision, Baier tweeted Wednesday, “That’s really a shame. When it comes to fairness – our news product speaks for itself. We will continue to cover this 2020 race fairly & will continue to invite Democrats- Republicans & Independents on to talk about key issues & substance with our very large viewing audience.”

The DNC announced last month that NBC News will host the first Democratic primary debate of the 2020 election cycle in June. Back in 2016, the Republican National Committee famously pulled out of a planned NBC News Republican primary debate after a similar event on CNBC was criticized for allegedly unfair questions.

The Democratic Party continues to overplay their hand, grossly overestimating their own intelligence while underestimating the intelligence of us Americans who live between the coasts in the Heartland of America.

You would have thought that they would have learned not to do that after their plans for a “Democratic Socialist Paradise” were obliterated on the night of November 8, 2016, when we “forgotten Americans” MADE them remember who we were.

But, no.

Modern American Liberals, especially the Far Left Democratic Party, view themselves as “The Smartest People in the Room”

You can’t tell them a thing. They already know it all.

Therefore, the preservation of their own fragile egos is the reason that they are blocking Fox News from involvement in their Primary Election Debates.

The Main Stream Media is the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders once said after being badgered by a “news reporter” from ABC that the reporter and her colleagues have a “responsibility to provide accurate information” to the public.

“Responsibility”. Therein lies the rub.

The Democratic Party and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, have been reduced to personal attacks against a sitting president.

They cannot attack Trump on his Economic Policies, which have been very successful and which have led to a record low unemployment rate for Black Americans.

They cannot attack him on his Foreign Policy, especially after the fantastic way he has handled the Iranians and the North Koreans.

So, they decided instead, to write fictional stories and attempt to give them believability and gravitas by claiming to have received the information for their stories from “anonymous sources”.

And, since those stories were being debunked almost as soon as they were posted, most Americans accurately surmised that the MSM’s “anonymous sources” were the voices inside their own over-sized heads.

The failure of the Democrat-controlled MSM brought them to the point where all they have left is to attempt to upstage the president in his own press conference, as CNN’s Jim Acosta tried to.

It did not work out well for him, did it?

The excuse by DNC Chairman and Political Activist Tom Perez for excluding Fox News from the Debates for an “inappropriate relationship” with President Trump is just another example of Liberal Hypocrisy.

Not only that, but just like their predecessors during the days of the Soviet Union’s Politboro, the “Democratic Socialists”, i.e. Marxists, leading the Far Left Democratic Party are neither interested in a “Fair ” Debate nor are they interested in the truth.

They are of the impression that their base, the Low Information Voters, will believe everything that they tell them, as long as they have their Propaganda Arm, the MSM, asking the questions.

And, average Americans, the same ones who made Donald J. Trump our 45th President, will believe their lies, also, without Fox News’ factual reporting getting in the way.

However, just as they did during the months leading up to the night of November 8, 2016, they are greatly underestimating those of us whom their Presidential Candidate at the time named “Deplorables”.

And, as George Santayana said,

Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it.

House Dems to Vote Friday on Ethics and Campaign Finance Reform Bill…First the Hypocrisy, Then the Veto

pelosi-show-600-li

FoxNews.com reports that

House Democrats are preparing to vote Friday on a sweeping ethics and campaign finance reform package known as the For the People Act, and in response the White House issued its second veto threat of the year on Tuesday, calling the proposal a reckless move that would increase opportunities for rampant voter fraud and chill free speech.

The bill, known as H.R. 1, purportedly aims to eliminate “culture of corruption in Washington” and to reduce the role of money in politics. It would make it easier for citizens to register and vote, tighten election security, and establish a small-donor public matching system in congressional elections.

In a direct shot at Trump, the bill would require presidents to release at least 10 years’ worth of tax returns. The bill also would ban executive-branch officials from lobbying their old agency for two years after they leave government, and reauthorize and enhance the Office of Government Ethics, which has clashed with Trump.

Additionally, the Act would require groups like the Chamber of Commerce that spend more than $10,000 on political messaging to disclose the identity of their contributors who gave more than $10,000 — prompting several business groups to raise concerns about their ability to communicate with politicians.

“The $10,000 donor threshold appears designed to target business organizations while largely sparing labor organizations from disclosure of their funding sources, which are typically union dues that are far less than $10,000,”  Neil Bradley, the executive vice president and chief policy officer at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce business lobbying group, told reporters on Tuesday.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, has long pronounced the reform measure dead on arrival in the Senate, where it faces long odds. And the White House, which has already vowed to veto the ongoing effort by Congress to strike down his national emergency declaration over border wall funding, issued a statement Tuesday outlining the administration’s problems with the legislation.

“If H.R. 1 were presented to the President, his advisors would recommend he veto the bill,” the statement flatly concluded. Trump has not yet vetoed any legislation.

One of the measure’s most notable provisions would restore protections included in the 1965 Voting Rights Act and guard against efforts by state officials to purge voting rolls.

Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., a veteran of the civil rights movement, called voting “the most powerful, non-violent instrument of transformation we have in our democracy,” and said efforts to make it easier to vote — not harder — were crucial. “I truly believe deep in my heart that the way votes were not counted and purged in Georgia and Florida and other states changed the outcome of the last election” to harm Democrats, Lewis said. “That must never happen again.”

However, the White House said it saw that provision as an invitation to voter fraud.

“H.R. 1 would prohibit commonsense efforts to clean up voting-rolls to limit opportunities for voting fraud,” the White House said. “The bill would also require States to adopt online registration, same-day registration, and automatic voter registration, thus imposing a one-size-fits-all standard for weighing the competing values of voter access and voting integrity.”

The White House statement continued: “Furthermore, H.R. 1 would enhance the powers of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) Chairman and reduce the number of FEC members from six to five, thus increasing the chances that the FEC becomes a partisan entity with undue power to shape and regulate elections nationwide.”

Other objections raised by the Trump administration centered on the bill’s advance of political redistricting mandates, as well as its possible effects on First Amendment rights.

…”The legislation would force States to create unelected bodies and then delegate redistricting decisions to them,” the White House’s statement said in response. “This would suppress the voices of our Nation’s citizens and cut off a nationwide debate on how best to pursue fair and ethical redistricting processes throughout the country.”

…”H.R. 1 also chills free speech by creating requirements that would limit the ability of Americans to participate in advocacy without undue compliance costs and without fear of public reprisals,” the White House countered. “The bill would establish costly and unnecessary programs to finance political campaigns, and force American taxpayers to finance Federal candidates they may not support.”

But Maryland Democratic Rep. John Sarbanes said Democrats were “responding directly to the American people and what they want to see in our democracy,” as shown by the election results in the 2018 midterms.

Calling the bill “transformative,” Sarbanes said in January it will “strengthen our democracy and return political power to the people by making it easier, not harder, to vote, ending the dominance of big money in our politics and ensuring that public officials actually serve the public.”

“You could stamp on this thing ‘McConnell-rejected,’ and it would immediately give it more credibility,” Sarbanes said. The legislation was not built for McConnell or any lawmaker, Sarbanes added: “This was built for the public.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also touted the bill, saying it would “restore integrity to government, so that people can have confidence that government works for the public interest, not the special interests.”

On ethics, members of Congress would be barred from serving on corporate boards and could not use taxpayer dollars to settle employment discrimination cases. But the White House argued that those provisions would unnecessarily impede the work of the executive branch with burdensome regulations.

Sarbanes and other supporters said the election security measures are particularly important as the 2020 election nears.

Predicting “historic turnout” in upcoming elections, Sarbanes said officials must not only encourage increased participation, but guard against attempts at sabotage from foreign and domestic adversaries.

“If we’re not ready for that in all the ways [the legislation] seeks to ensure, then we could end up with a train wreck,” he said.

Having the House Democrats sponsor a “Financial Reform” and “Ethics” bill is like having Stormy McDaniel write a book endorsing chastity.

Nancy Pelosi and her husband are worth $22 million, thanks to “shrewd real estate investments in California.

Gee. I wonder where they received their “tips” from?

Freshman Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her Saikat Chakrabarti, her chief of staff are presently being accused of violating campaign finance laws to the tune of almost $1,000,000.

Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar are spending their time in office attacking the faith of 75% of Americans who proclaim Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior.

Meanwhile, Pelosi and her convocation of “Pharisees” are apparently going to spend the next two years wasting American Taxpayers’ money trying to get the man who average Americans voted into office…out of office.

Also, if they are truly interested in “Ethical Behavior and Finance Reform” are they going to retroactively take away the money which Hillary Clinton and her husband’s Foundation made from all of those foreign governments who pay them money to curry favor with the then–Secretary of State?

I am always writing about how the Liberals in the Far Left Democratic Party believe themselves to be the smartest people in the room and above all the rest of us Americans.

However, the House Democrats have completely lost it.

This bill has the all of the sincerity of a book titled “The Michael Moore Diet Plan”.

If the House Dems do not wake up and smell what they are shoveling, like Captain Ahab in “Moby Dick”, the Great While Whale that they are obsessed with,President Donald J. Trump, is going to drag their hopes of regaining presidency down into a watery grave for several decades.

And, considering their present Marxist Political Ideology and severely impaired mental faculties, that would be a very good thing.

Hillary Compares Trump Presidency to Era of Civil Rights Movement, Proclaims It a “Crisis in Our Democracy”

selma-march-1-rt-190303_hpMain_16x9_992

“Well certainly he (President Trump) said that, that he is going to represent Americans. He said that over and over again, and I think that we will continue to evaluate that. I think that the nation supports — I believe that’s his intent, but I think also we have to consistently engage with pressure, public pressure. It doesn’t happen automatically. My father and his team understood that, did that, and I think that Americans are prepared to do that.” – Martin Luther King III, when asked by CNN’s Jim Acosta about President Trump, January 16, 2017

FoxNews.com reports that

Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton offered a stark view of the country on Sunday, comparing the current “crisis in our democracy” to the turbulence that occurred amid the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s.

Speaking during a reception in Selma, Ala. to mark the 54th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday” and to receive the International Unity Award at the Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King Unity Breakfast, Clinton said that the United States is facing a “full-fledged crisis in our democracy.”

“This is a time, my friends, when fundamental rights, civic virtue, freedom of the press, the rule of law, truth, facts and reason are under assault,” Clinton said, according to the Hill.

Clinton is one of a number of Democratic leaders in Selma this weekend for the ceremonies surrounding the “Bloody Sunday” anniversary.

Not to be confused with the “Bloody Sunday” massacre in Northern Ireland in 1972, the events being remembered in Alabama occurred on March 7, 1965, when peaceful demonstrators were beaten back by Alabama state troopers as they attempted to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge. It was a moment that galvanized support for the passage of the Voting Rights Act later that year.

While Clinton did not specifically mention President Trump in her speech, she said that “racist and white supremacist views” have been buoyed by the current administration and warned that civil and voting rights were under attack in the U.S.

“To anyone who has ever wondered what you would have done during those defining moments that we read about in history books — whether you would have risked arrest to demand votes for women or bled on the Edmund Pettus bridge to demand voting rights for all — the answer is what you are doing now could be as important as anything that anyone has done before,” Clinton said.

Voter suppression emerged as a key issue in the 2018 midterm elections in states such as Georgia and North Carolina, where a Republican congressional candidate was accused of rigging the contest there through absentee ballots. House Democrats signaled they plan to make ballot access a priority in the new Congress, introducing legislation aimed at protecting voting rights in 2020 and beyond.

Clinton, who lost to Trump in the 2016 presidential election and has remained a staunch critic of the current administration, was one of a number of Democrats in Alabama over the weekend. 2020 presidential hopefuls Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. and Cory Booker, D-N.J., are also slated to speak in Selma.

Okay…here we go…

First of all, America is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a mob-ruled Democracy.

Moving on…

“The politics of division” have been in place for decades. The last time the two political parties even came close to getting along was during the Clinton Presidency, when Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich convinced “Bubba” that he would go down in history if he agreed to balance the budget.

Things started to get really ugly during the “Dubya” Presidency, once 9/11 had been put in the rear view window by the Democrats, who decided they had had enough of political unity for the sake of the country.

The problem was, President George W. Bush refused to fight back. He just stood there and let the Democrats and their Propaganda Arm run all over him, to the point where he could not accomplish the things he was put in office to do..

Then, when King Barack The First ascended to the throne of “The Regime”, “The politics of division” became not just a fact of life, it became a Presidential Political Strategy.

The racial division in our country was wider on Obama’s last day as president, than it was on his first day. Our political ideologies moved further apart as well, as Liberals, buoyed by having one of their own in the White House, moved further to the Left Side of the Political Spectrum, taking the Democratic Party with them.

And, in that spirit, the Democratic Party nominated a Far-Left Ideologue in Hillary Clinton for their choice as the next President of the United States.

However, even after cloaking herself in a mask of Political Moderation, her true nature revealed itself and the American people rejected her in spite of the best efforts of the Main Stream Media, who were acting as the Democratic Party’s Propaganda Machine.

The thought of another 4 years under the failed policies of Barack Hussein Obama, being delivered to us in the shrill voice and demeanor of Hillary Clinton, was too much for average Americans to bear.

Standing up on our hind legs, we elected American Entrepreneur and Businessman Donald J. Trump, a “rank outsider”, as President of the United States of America.

Now, as President, he is working hard to fulfill his Campaign Promises, while taking more flak than the Allied Bombers did in World War II over Dresden, Germany.

But, more on that in a moment.

Despite his best efforts to radically change America into just another country, Barack Hussein Obama found out that the strength of America does not come from our political parties, nor from the area known as the Beltway which surrounds and includes the Halls of Power in Washington, D.C.

Rather, America’s strength comes from the faith, which anchors the daily struggles of average Americans, who, relying on our Creator, the lessons which we learned from our family, including our parents, our own common sense, and the sweat of our brow, are living our lives trying to provide a better life for our children and grandchildren, while being grateful for this Sovereign Nation which God and our Founders bequeathed to us.

The 44th President of the United States of America never understood this.

Nor do those professional politicians who belong to the Washington Establishment Wing of both Political Parties.

During the same 2017 interview which I quoted from earlier, MLK III said…

“I think my father would be concerned about the fact that there are 50 million fact there are 50 or 60 million people living in poverty and somehow, we’ve got to create the climate for all boats to be lifted. In America, with a multi-trillion dollar economy — $20 trillion economy almost, it’s insanity we have poor people in this nation. That’s unacceptable and when we work together, we know we can roll up our sleeves. There’s nothing we as Americans can’t do. Thank you very much.”

On February 5th, 2019, less than a month ago, Breitbart.com reported that

Prior to Trump’s presidency, African-American unemployment had never sunk below 7 percent. In fact, it has rarely been below 8 percent since the government began keeping records in 1972.  When Trump was sworn into office in January of 2016, it stood at 8.8 percent.

While Trump has been president, unemployment among African-Americans has steadily fallen. It has now been below 7 percent since February 2018.

President Trump did not start the fire of the “politics of division”.

He was bequeathed it as a “parting gift” from the previous Administration and Administrations before it.

And, those who make their living from a nation divided, like Failed Democrat Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton, are doing their utmost to keep the 45th President from uniting us.

Because they know that the son of Civil Rights Icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was absolutely correct.

“…when we work together, we know we can roll up our sleeves. There’s nothing we as Americans can’t do.”

…including MAKING AMERICAN GREAT AGAIN.

Until He Comes,

“Morning Joe’s” Donny Deutsch Claims Trump Will Start a Civil War if Not Reelected…TDS is Real!

Screen-Shot-2018-06-22-at-8.34.50-AM (2)

Just when you think that the Liberal Pundits on the Fake News Channels can not get more hyperbolic…

FoxNews.com reports that

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” regular Donny Deutsch declared Thursday that President Trump is capable of starting a civil war before warning, “I’m not speaking hyperbole.”

The morning show panel was discussing comments made by Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen, who on Wednesday said he’s worried that if the president doesn’t win re-election, there will not be a “peaceful transition of power.”

Deutsch seemed to agree with Cohen, but took the prediction to an extreme next level.

“When he thought he was going to lose, he was teeing it up for a few days. It’s easy to forget that now,” Deutsch said. “If impeachment starts to happen, even if he loses an election, whatever inner move you think this guy is capable of doing to create a civil war, he will [do]… I’m not speaking hyperbole.”

Deutsch said Cohen knows Trump “better than anybody” and urged viewers to take his comments seriously.

“I think we really have to pay attention to that,” Deutsch said.

MSNBC’s Willie Geist then asked, “Does anyone doubt that Donald Trump would do that, even if he loses a free and fair election… he’ll start talking about voter fraud?”

Deutsch responded that he isn’t talking about voter fraud, but something far more serious before reminding viewers that Cohen said Trump “won’t leave” the White House peacefully.

NewsBusters contributing writer Alex Christy blasted the far-left morning show for the segment that “outrageously” claimed Trump could start a civil war to remain in power.

“The cast of MSNBC’s Morning Joe like to view themselves as the defenders of truth and justice in an age when such ideals are supposedly under attack by President Trump. Any presidential hyperbole is condemned as a lie, while their own hyperbole is speaking truth to power,” Christy wrote. “Their irresponsibility and hypocrisy truly knows no bounds.”

This is quite a delicious bit of self-absorbed irony, isn’t it, gentle readers?

Donny Deutsch provides us with a textbook example of the blinding lack of self-awareness among the Far Left Liberal Elite of the Democratic Party.

They actually believe that everybody in America, including “Flyover  Country”, as they call us, have exactly the same Far Left anti-traditional American Faith and Values political ideology that they do.

They also believe that campaigning on killing babies after they are born, legalizing pot from coast to coast, allowing transgendered “athletes” to compete against their opposite God-given gender, and attempting to impeach President Trump will appeal to those of us working class Americans who stand outside arenas for hours to get in and see the President when he brings his MAGA Rally to our municipality.

What part of the fact that America has greatly improved economically under the presidency of Donald J. Trump, don’t they understand?

Do they actually believe that Americans want Open Borders?

Really?

Do they actually believe that a nation whose population in which 75% profess Jesus Christ as their Savior are cheering them standing up for abortion after birth?

All of them must be smoking all that dope which they want to legalize.

Sheesh.

Average Americans did not elect Trump as President because he is perfect.

We elected him because he spoke TO us, not DOWN TO us, as Barack Hussein Obama and his chosen successor, Hillary Clinton, did.

And now, Little Donny, you’re worried about a “Civil War” breaking out if Trump is not reelected?

Judging from the field of candidates that your political party is offering up to battle to be their potential Presidential Candidate, the only way you guys are going to win in 2020, is if all of us “Deplorables” between the coasts keel over from laughing ourselves to death.

Oh, and if you “New Bolsheviks” ever get the idea to attempt a coup, since your first attempt is failing so miserably, just remember:

Average Americans still have our Bibles and guns.

You guys don’t even know which restroom to use.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib Throws Race Card at Rep. Mark Meadows During Cohen Hearing…Then Tries to Deny It

HWdg83l6-940x460

Playing the race card is done as if it were some kind of sport. – Former Sheriff David A. Clarke, Jr.

FoxNews.com reports that

Accusations of racism swirled Wednesday during Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony, after a Democratic House freshman, Rashida Tlaib, appeared to accuse fellow lawmaker Mark Meadows of being racist.

Tlaib, D- Mich., was addressing the chamber when she turned her remarks to a Trump employee who’d been invited to the hearing by Meadows, R-N.C.

“Just because someone has a person of color, a black person working for them, does not mean they aren’t racist and it is insensitive that some would even say, the fact that someone would actually use a prop, a black woman in this chamber, in this committee, is alone racist in itself.”

An emotional Meadows fired back, saying Lynne Patton, a Trump aide and official at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, wanted to be present in support of President Trump. He asked that Tlaib’s remarks be stricken from the record.

Cohen estimates Trump asked him to threaten people 500 times during his employment

“My nieces and nephews are people of color. Not many people know that. You know that, Mr. Chairman. And to indicate that I asked someone who is a personal friend of the Trump family, who has worked for him, who knows this particular individual (motioning to Cohen), that she’s coming in to be a prop — it’s racist to suggest that I asked her to come in here for that reason.”

Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., chairman of the committee, asked Tlaib to “rephrase” her remarks.

“I want to make sure I understand, you were not intending to call Mr. Meadows a racist, is that right?” Cummings asked.

“No, Mr. Chairman, I did not call Mr. Meadows a racist. I am trying as a person of color just to express myself and how I felt at that moment, and so, just for the record, that was my intention.”

Meadows continued to defend his decision to invite Patton.

“She came in because she felt like the president of the United States was getting falsely accused, and Mr. Chairman, you and I have a personal relationship that’s not based on color. And to even go down this direction is wrong.”

Cummings thanked Meadows for his remarks, adding that the pair are best friends but that he did not believe Tlaib was calling Meadows a racist.

“Of all the people on this committee, I’ve said it and gotten in trouble for it but you are one of my best friends,” Cummings said. “I could see and feel your pain. I feel it. And I don’t think Ms. Tlaib intended to cause you that, that kind of pain and that kind of frustration.”

Tlaib added this: “That was not my intention, and I do apologize if that’s what it sounded like. But I said someone in general, and as everyone knows in this chamber I’m pretty direct. So if I wanted to say that, I would’ve — but that’s not what I said.”

Oh, Really?

In case you do not remember, the night that Rep. Tlaib was sworn in as a member of the 116th Congress, she was videotaped vowing to impeach the president. This was shortly after she penned an op-ed for The Detroit Free Press outlining the case for impeachment.

The video showed Tlaib telling supporters.

“People love you and you win. And when your son looks at you and says: ‘Momma, look you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t, because we’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach the motherf***er.’”

Classy, huh?

Tlaib is a Black Muslim, born in America to parents of Palestinian descent.

As I have been writing over the last several years, Liberals are nothing if not predictable.

They view everything in terms of politics and race, not necessarily in that order.

From city councils to Congress, you can bet your bottom dollar, that when a Democrat is in a losing position over any public matter, if they happen to be black, they will play the Race Card.

This egregious claim coming from House Freshman Rashida Tlaib, which she feebly tried to walk back when called to account for it, that President Trump is a racist or a White Supremacist reminds me of all the historical conflicts which I used to read about, during a course in college which I took titled “The Rhetoric of Social Protest“.

Karl Marx knew long ago that all you needed to do to touch the heart of the common man was to convince him of a shared struggle.

Vladimir Lenin took this a step further, by using the concept of a shared struggle to convince the Bolsheviks to help him overthrow the Czar of Russia and murder him and his family during the Russian Revolution.

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but fiery rhetoric spoken by anyone in a leadership position, especially someone in our Federal Government, has consequences.

The throwing of the Race Card by the Democrats first really came into prominence during the Obama Administration.

Former President Barack Hussein Obama is as responsible for what has happened to Race Relations in America, as any thug wannabe in any city.

However, he is not alone in his responsibility.

Every race-baiter, local & national, like Congresswoman Tlaib, who fanned the flames of racial hatred, has the blood of any innocent person, police and civilians alike, slain in the name of Racial Division.

Do you remember when one half of the “Justice Brothers”, the “Reverend” Al Sharpton, led a march in New York City, capitalizing on the deaths of two of Michael Brown and Earl Garner?

During the march, the protesters chanted

What do we want? Dead Cops!

Somehow, America’s Professional Race-Baiters, from the Former Community Organizer-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, on down, twisted the facts to make it America’s Law Enforcement Officers’ Fault that two thugs got themselves killed in altercations with police officers.

What ever happened to personal responsibility?

President Ronald Reagan once said,

There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect.

Compare it to these words:

It’s not to make excuses for that fact — although black folks do interpret the reasons for that in a historical context. They understand that some of the violence that takes place in poor black neighborhoods around the country is born out of a very violent past in this country, and that the poverty and dysfunction that we see in those communities can be traced to a very difficult history. – President Barack Hussein Obama, 7/19/2014

Obama, for his own political reasons, reinforced at every opportunity while President, the self-fulfilling prophecy that the Black Community was still shackled and limited in their freedom.

Which was a delicious bit of irony considering that, as a black man, he held for 8 long years the position of President of the most powerful country on the face of the Earth.

The erroneous claims of bigotry aimed at President Trump, are merely a codicil in the Playbook of the Perpetually Aggrieved, as they continue their never-ending National Temper Tantrum over the results of the 2016 Presidential election, as witnessed by the behavior of Rep. Tlaib in yesterday’s Cohen Hearing.

In what has to be the worse case of mass self-unawareness on record, Modern American Liberals continue to make themselves look like poor losers and crybabies, as they continue to behave like petulant teenagers who have been grounded for acting out.

Freshman Congresswoman Tlaib and her partner in idiocy, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, have become overnight pariahs, to be shunned, ridiculed, and not taken seriously.

Personally. I hope that Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, and the rest of the Democrats continue to behave like the jackasses that they are.

At this rate, Trump should win the 2020 Presidential Election in a landslide.

House Dems Interrogate a Proven Liar Expecting to Get the “Truth” While Trump Makes History in Hanoi

michael-cohen-01-sh-jc-180413_hpMain_4x3_992

So let the sideshow begin
Hurry, hurry, step right on in – Blue Magic (1974)

FoxNews.com reports that

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz defended a tweet he sent Tuesday about Michael Cohen, suggesting that President Trump’s former attorney had been unfaithful to his wife.

Tweeting directly at Cohen, the Republican congressman wrote: “Do your wife & father-in-law know about your girlfriends? Maybe tonight would be a good time for that chat. I wonder if she’ll remain faithful when you’re in prison. She’s about to learn a lot…”

When asked about his tweet by reporters on Tuesday, Gaetz insisted that his remarks were not witness tampering, according to The Hill.

“We’re witness testing not witness tampering,” Gaetz explained. “And when witnesses come before Congress their truthfulness and veracity are in question and we have the opportunity to test them.”

The lawmaker’s comment comes as Cohen appeared on Capitol Hill Tuesday for the first in a series of hearings this week.

His testimony Tuesday to the Senate Intelligence Committee took place behind closed doors. On Wednesday, he’ll testify before the House Oversight Committee in an open hearing. The following day, Cohen is set to appear behind closed doors for a House Intelligence Committee interview.

Cohen was sentenced in December to three years in prison after pleading guilty to campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to Congress. He agreed to cooperate with prosecutors as part of a deal.

Lanny J. Davis, who represents Cohen, slammed Gaetz’s tweet as a shameful lie and one that would not sit well with the Floridians whom the lawmaker represents.

“We will not respond to Mr. Gaetz’s despicable lies and personal smears, except to say we trust that his colleagues in the House, both Republicans and Democrats, will repudiate his words and his conduct,” Davis said in a statement to Fox News.

“I also trust that his constituents will not appreciate that their congressman has set a new low — which in today’s political culture is hard to imagine as possible,” he continued.

In addition to his tweet, Gaetz also addressed Cohen on the House floor on Tuesday night, painting him as a repeated liar.

“I guess tomorrow we will find out if there is anyone that Michael Cohen hasn’t lied to,” Gaetz said. “We already know he lied to Congress, we already know he lied to law enforcement, lied to the IRS, lied to three banks and he’s going to prison for his lies. And so I guess it will be relevant for us to determine like, does he lie to his own family? Does he lie to his financier’s? Does he lie to his financiers who are members of his family?”

Gaetz, who is not a member of the oversight committee, also called Cohen’s credibility into question.

“And it’ll be one heck of an inquiry for us because this is someone who has tangled such a web of lies that he is not to be believed and I think it is entirely appropriate for any member of this body to challenge the truthfulness and veracity and character for the people who have a history of lying and have a future that undoubtedly contains nothing but lies,” Gaetz continued on the floor. “That is the story of Michael Cohen, we’ll see it play out tomorrow. And I, for one, can’t wait to the get to the bottom of things, and can’t wait to get to the truth.”

He comments echoed ones he made during an interview on The Todd Starnes Show on Fox News Radio, saying that he doesn’t anticipate getting “very truthful testimonies” from Cohen on Wednesday. He also predicted that Cohen would “try to cast Donald Trump as the villain and he as the person that’s going to make things right.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., later chimed in on the subject, tweeting a reminder to fellow lawmakers to be cognizant that remarks “on social media or in the press can adversely affect the ability of House Committees to obtain the truthful and complete information necessary to fulfill their duties.”

So, while President Trump is in Hanoi, making advances in Foreign Policy on a historic level, the Democrats continue to reduce the House of Representatives into a pitiful doppelganger of greatly missed by children of all ages, Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.

Do the House Dems actually expect to win over any Trump Voters with today’s sideshow theatrics?

I mean, seriously.

They are interrogating a known liar who has been caught lying to Congress before.

This clown will tell them whatever they want to hear in order to save himself from further punishment.

Cohen has already pleaded guilty to five counts of tax evasion, one count of making false statements to a financial institution, one count of willfully causing an unlawful corporate contribution, and one count of making an excessive campaign contribution.

In other words, Cohen pleaded guilty of violating campaign finance charges by paying off a couple of gold-diggers.

No Russian Collusion has been found or formally charged to any member of the Trump Campaign nor the President, himself by previous House or Senate Committees.

Donald J. Trump is still President of the United States of America. And, the Democrats are still in the midst of a national temper tantrum over that fact.

The House Democrats hate Trump and love illegals so much that they passed a measure yesterday aimed at ending the National Emergency over the crisis at our Southern Border which the President has already declared.

To heck with those who actually voted them into their cushy jobs on Capitol Hill.

But, I digress…

The line at the end of the Fox News Article quoting San Fran Nan as saying that the members of the House Committees need “to be cognizant that remarks “on social media or in the press can adversely affect the ability of House Committees to obtain the truthful and complete information necessary to fulfill their duties.” is hilarious.

The purpose of all these “investigative” committees has nothing to do with “obtaining the truthful and complete information”.

They are nothing but lynch mobs whose purpose is to overturn the will of the American people and to somehow drive President Donald J Trump from office.

Good luck with that, Dems.

He’s already made you look like a bunch of clowns in a circus for the last two years.

So, let the sideshow begin.

House Dems Push Measure to End National Emergency While Trump Deploys More Troops and Builds Border Wall

trump-resist-600-la

Did you ever think that you would live to see the day when those who were sent to our nation’s capitol to serve us cared more about those who wish to enter our country illegally than they do about American citizens?

FoxNews.com reports that

The Pentagon will deploy 1,000 more troops to the southern border next week, a senior U.S. defense official said Friday afternoon.

The additional forces will bring the total to nearly 6,000 active-duty and National Guard personnel deployed in support of the Department of Homeland Security at the border with Mexico, one week after President Trump declared a state of emergency to free up funding for a promised border wall.

…Trump wants to spend roughly $6 billion from the Pentagon budget, $2.5 billion from its drug interdiction program and $3.5 billion from the military construction bill, to pay for the wall.

For years, it has been the practice to request approval from Congress before reallocating Defense Department funds, the senior defense official said, but also told reporters a congressional sign-off is “not required.”

More than 5,000 U.S. active-duty forces were ordered to the southern border in late October ahead of the midterm elections, and as a caravan of thousands of migrants traveled up toward the U.S. from Central America.

Since then, the mission has been extended two times.  Earlier this year, Acting Defense Secretary Pat Shanahan said U.S. forces would remain on the border through the end of September, due to the painstaking work of laying more than 100 miles of barbed wire, and offering aviation, surveillance and other support.

So far, U.S. troops have strung roughly 70 miles of concertina wire, said the official.

“We’re laying down another 140 miles of concertina wire, about 30 percent done with that,” the official added.

Meanwhile…NBC News reports…

House Democrats pushed ahead Friday with a measure that seeks to terminate President Donald Trump’s emergency declaration that he issued last week in order to circumvent Congress and build his wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, introduced a joint resolution in the House that would repeal the president’s declaration. The measure was filed during the chamber’s pro forma session, a senior Democratic aide confirmed Friday morning, since lawmakers are on recess and don’t return to Washington until Monday.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the chamber would vote on the resolution Tuesday.

The measure has at least 222 co-sponsors, Castro said Thursday evening — representing more than enough votes to pass the House.

…If both the House and Senate were to pass the resolution, it would send a major symbolic message — but its impact would be limited to symbolism: administration aides have already made clear Trump would veto any effort that interfered with his declaration, and the measure is unlikely to attract anywhere near the GOP support needed to overturn a presidential veto.

So Democrats are pushing back on other fronts, looking to nullify the declaration by challenging it in court, with California, New York and 14 other states filing a lawsuit on Monday to try to block the move.

So, Castro’s measure has all the impact of breaking wind in a cheese factory.

This measure is simply an extenuation of the National Temper Tantrum by Democrats that began the night of November 8, 2016 when their “sure thing”, the presidency of Hillary Clinton was thwarted by “a basket full of Deplorables” who lived between the Northeastern “Beltway” and the Left Coast.

The thing is, this is not just a temper tantrum…this is a power grab, which started covertly with a small group of bureaucrats in the DOJ and FBI under the auspices of the Obama Administration and has now extended to our nation’s version of England’s House of Commons, the House of Representatives.

Don’t believe me?

Per politico.com,

(Speaker of the House Nancy) Pelosi and a delegation of U.S. lawmakers were in Brussels on Monday and Tuesday to reassure European partners at a time when transatlantic relations have been deeply fractured by Trump’s criticism of allies and his unpredictability in policymaking.

Among the messages that Pelosi said she brought to the EU capital was that the U.S. president is not all-powerful. Of course, it was a lesson Europeans watched her teach Trump in the standoff over a recent government shutdown — where she forced the president to back down.

“We’re not a parliamentary government even though we’re parliamentarians,” Pelosi said at a news conference. “We have Article 1, the legislative branch, the first branch of government, co-equal to the other branches and we have asserted ourselves in that way.”

Dementia is a horrible thing, isn’t it?

Pelosi is not the Head of the Legislative Branch of our Constitutional Republic.

She is the Speaker of the House of Representatives, established by our Founding Fathers to be like the British House of Commons, that is, the LOWER House of Congress with the Senate being patterned after the House of Lords, or, the UPPER House.

The United States Constitution mentions the position of Speaker but gives it no unique powers.

Also, nowhere in the Constitution does it state that the three branches of government are “co-equal”. The president does not answer to congress. He can act on his own accord concerning matters of national security and foreign policy. And, the Judicial Branch, i.e., the courts, have the ability to overturn legislation passed by Congress.

And, while I’m thinking about it, did y’all ever hear Pelosi claim that Cryin’ John Boehner or Vichy Republican Paul Ryan was the equal of Former President Barack Hussein Obama?

Puhleeze.

Pelosi and the Dems have conveniently forgotten that King Barack the First acted on his own authority several times, including his work with DACA and several revisions of Obamacare.

As the first article in this post demonstrates, President Trump has full Constitutional Authority to build a Border Wall in order to protect our Sovereign Nation.

Whether Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats up on Capitol Hill want him to or not.

Mueller Probe “Near the End Game” Per Sources

Trump-Mueller

FoxNews.com reports that

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe is wrapping up soon, and a source familiar with the investigation tells Fox News it is “near the end game” — although there has been no formal notification to President Trump’s legal team that Mueller’s work is completed.

Exiting Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who oversaw the Mueller probe for 18 months until the recent confirmation of AG William Barr, had said privately he intended to remain in his role until the Mueller report was delivered to Congress. On Tuesday, the White House announced that Deputy Secretary of Transportation Jeff Rosen would replace Rosenstein.

Sources close to the investigative process have told Fox News that the high-level shakeup at Justice — with Barr assembling his new team, and Rosenstein planning to leave by mid-March — is a sign that the stars are aligning for the probe’s conclusion.

The DOJ has not confirmed it is planning an announcement on the inquiry, and neither Mueller’s team nor the DOJ responded to Fox News’ request for comment.

Also unclear is whether the final Mueller report will be made public. Barr testified during his confirmation hearings that, as he understands the regulations governing the special counsel, the report will be confidential – and any report that goes to Congress or the public will be authored by the attorney general.

Some Democrats sounded the alarm after Barr’s testimony, with Connecticut Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal charging that Barr indicated he’d exploit legal “loopholes” to hide Mueller’s final report from the public and to resist subpoenas against the White House.

“I will commit to providing as much information as I can, consistent with the regulations,” Barr had told Blumenthal when asked if he would ensure that Mueller’s full report was publicly released.

Mueller’s team is still leading several prosecutions, including against longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone on charges of witness tampering and lying to Congress, and against former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who awaits sentencing on charges he lied to FBI agents during the Russia probe. Flynn is cooperating as part of a separate Foreign Agents Registration Act case regarding lobbying work in Turkey as part of his plea deal.

The flurry of activity comes shortly after Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley — who until recently was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee — said he expected Mueller’s final Russia report “within a month.” Grassley later walked back those comments, saying they were based on unconfirmed news reports and rumors.

The top Republicans on the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, meanwhile, are calling for former FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe and Rosenstein to testify before their respective panels, following McCabe’s explosive claims in an interview last week that senior Justice Department officials had considered removing President Trump using the 25th Amendment.

Raise your hand if you are tired of the whole Russian Collusion Fairy Tale Circus.

I know that I sure as heck am.

As I have documented over the last two years, the whole charade has been nothing but a Democrat Lynch Mob, formed to somehow, SOMEWAY remove President Donald J. Trump from office.

There never should have been a Special Counsel seated in the first place, unless it was for the purpose of investigating the cover-up by the DOJ and FBI of Hillary Clinton’s E-mailgate, the Uranium One Scandal, and the pay for play dealings of the Clinton Foundation while Hillary was Secretary of State.

The more that Mueller and his “Investigate Team”, consisting of 17 Democratic Party Donors, insisted that they were non-biased, the more information came forth that they were holdovers from the Clinton Administration, working as Deep State Operatives to do unto Trump as Brutus did unto Caesar.

They have proven themselves to be nothing but Trump Haters with no actual evidence of any kind that President Trump “colluded” with the Russians.

Several members of Mueller’s Team actually worked for the same Law Firm, WilmerHale, a huge Donor to the Democratic Party.

Anyone who has ever worked for the Law Firm of WilmerHale has donated to the Democratic Party…including Special Counsel Robert Mueller!

The whole Trump/Russia Collusion Fairy Tale has been nothing but an act of vengeance perpetrated by the Democratic Party, their minions in Congress, and their Deep State Operatives in the DOJ and FBI placed in motion to undo the results of the 2016 Presidential Election.

Because, Lord knows, the Far left Democratic Party can’t have a Republican President actually succeed in fulfilling his Campaign Promises.

That would mean that the Professional Politicians on Capitol Hill would actually have to work with President Trump on behalf of Americans, instead of themselves, to help make American Great Again.

And. Lord knows…we can’t have that. That would be too much like “right” (as we say in Dixie).

What a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites.

I hope that Mueller submits his findings to AG Barr next week and just quietly slips out the back door along with the rest of his lynch mob.

They have spent too much of OUR money, accomplishing nothing but supplying the purveyors of Fake News with fodder for wish-casting and pontificating by political pundits who, for two years, have been pulling their off-base predictions and opinions out of a very dark and lonely place.

It’s time to end the Dog and Pony Show.

Send in the clowns!

Oh, wait.

Pelosi and the House Democrats are already here.

Rosenstein to Step Down in Mid-March…Why Not Fire Him Now?

ap-rod-rosenstein (2)

FoxNews.com reports that

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected to leave his role at the Justice Department by mid-March, a senior DOJ official told Fox News on Monday.

An official announcement of who has been selected to replace Rosenstein could come as early as this week. A Trump administration official added that Attorney General William Barr has picked Jeffrey Rosen, who currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation, to take over for Rosenstein.

A graduate of Northwestern University and Harvard Law School, Rosen previously served as General Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor for the White House Office of Management and Budget (2006 to 2009) and as General Counsel at the Department of Transportation (2003 to 2006), according to his online biography.

Rosen, confirmed for his current role by the Senate in May 2017, works under Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao in overseeing the daily operations of the department.

Fox News reported in January that Rosenstein was expected to step down in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition for Barr, who was sworn-in on Thursday.

Rosenstein long thought of his role as a two-year position and the two-year mark is coming soon, officials close to the departing attorney general previously told Fox News.

Speculation of Rosenstein’s departure mounted after the firing of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions in November. He has, until recently, overseen Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into whether Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election. Rosenstein has often been a target of President Trump on Twitter.

Most recently, Trump accused Rosenstein, along with former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, of pursuing an “illegal and treasonous” plot against him after McCabe detailed private DOJ discussions about secretly recording and potentially ousting the president.

“He and Rod Rosenstein, who was hired by Jeff Sessions (another beauty), look like they were planning a very illegal act, and got caught,” the president tweeted early Monday.

Trump continued: “There is a lot of explaining to do to the millions of people who had just elected a president who they really like and who has done a great job for them with the Military, Vets, Economy and so much more. This was the illegal and treasonous ‘insurance policy’ in full action!”

Rosenstein, who was nominated to his post by Trump in 2017, repeatedly has denied he “pursued or authorized recording the president” and also has denied McCabe’s suggestion that the deputy attorney general had broached the idea of invoking the Constitution’s 25th Amendment, which allows Cabinet members to seek the removal of a president if they conclude that he or she is mentally unfit.

The Justice Department echoed both denials in a statement released last week, saying Rosenstein “was not in a position to consider invoking the 25th Amendment.”

Last summer, 11 House Republicans introduced five articles of impeachment against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

The impeachment articles accused Rosenstein of intentionally withholding documents and information from Congress, failure to comply with congressional subpoenas and abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

At the time, I wrote

The Hierarchy of the DOJ, like our municipal police organizations around the nation, are supposed to “serve and protect” the citizens of our great country.

Not themselves and the Democratic Party.

The silly games which Rosenstein and the Hierarchy of the FBI and the Special Counsel which he appointed have been playing for the entirety of the Trump Presidency became old, stale, and unappreciated by the American Public a long time ago.

A Deputy Attorney General of the Department of Justice has repeatedly told members of the House of Representatives that he did not know diddly-squat about the activities of those under him.

If you buy that, I would like to talk to you about purchasing a lifetime membership in the Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez Center for Rational Thought.

It is time to begin the process of restoring the System of Checks and Balances to the Three Branches of Government which our Founding Fathers so magnificently created and bequeathed to us.

Certain representatives of the Judicial Branch have decided that they outrank the Legislative and the Executive.

The Founders created all three branches to be servants of the American People.

It’s time to re-introduce Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein to a concept personified by a statue, known as “Blind Justice”.

Little did any of us suspect the depth of Rosenstein’s involvement in the Deep State Operation which began under the Obama Administration to first keep Trump from becoming president and then to somehow, someway force him out of office.

That operation began as election tampering, just as Obama tried in Israel to get rid of Netanyahu. When that did not work (again), the Deep State Operatives, with Rosenstein involved, came up with a plot to overthrow the president through the use of the 25th Amendment.

That, gentle readers, constitutes sedition and treason. There are no other words for what they attempted to do.

Back in the time of President Lincoln, Rosenstein and his co-conspirators would have already been executed by hanging or firing squad.

This weasel is being allowed to retire from government service with a big fat pension.

I believe that President Trump not only needs to fire Rosenstein immediately, he needs to have new Attorney General Barr begin investigations on the Deep State Operation that began under Obama and Hillary, also opening back up investigations on Hillary’s “E-mailgate” and the Pay For Play Scheme known as the Clinton Foundation.

And, while AG Barr is at it, he needs to investigate Adam Schiff’s connection to Fusion GPS.

It is way past time to play hardball with those who wished to overturn the will of the American people and to overthrow a sitting president.
