As His ISIS Strategy Sputters, Obama Tells America “All is Well.”

th (18)United States President Barack Hussein Obama got in front of the cameras yesterday, to give Americans an update on his marvelous military strategy in the ongoing “war that is not a war” against ISIS.

Alexander the Great, he ain’t.

Foxnews.com reports that

President Obama, in a rare visit to the Pentagon where he got an update on the military campaign against the Islamic State, acknowledged Monday that ISIS and its ideology have spread far beyond Iraq and Syria as he urged the world to unite against this threat – saying that if the U.S. tries to address it unilaterally, “We’ll be playing whack-a-mole.”

The president, giving a report card of sorts on the nearly yearlong military campaign against the terror network, offered a mixed picture. He cited a string of ISIS losses in Iraq and Syria in claiming they “can be pushed back” in the region.

“In short, ISIL’s recent losses in both Syria and Iraq prove that ISIL can and will be defeated,” Obama said, vowing: “We will ultimately prevail.”

At the same time, he braced the public for a “long-term campaign” that will involve a “generational struggle” — a global battle with extremists for hearts and minds.

In unusually blunt remarks, the president acknowledged that ISIS and its ideology “pose a grave threat beyond the region” that has spread around the world.

The president cited deadly attacks in recent weeks in Tunisia, Kuwait and Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

“We see a growing ISIL presence in Libya and attempts to establish footholds across North Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Southeast Asia,” Obama added, while also citing recent attacks in France, Canada and beyond. He said the world must unite against this threat, and that if the U.S. tries to address it unilaterally, “We’ll be playing whack-a-mole.”

Obama spoke to the media at the Pentagon, following meetings with top military officials and other national security advisers for an update on the strategy.

The meetings follow a wave of weekend airstrikes by the U.S.-led coalition in eastern Syria. The coalition says it was one of the most sustained aerial operations carried out in Syria to date.

The meetings also come a month after Obama approved sending up to 450 additional U.S. troops to Iraq, as part of an effort to help and train local forces. Addressing a key goal of that effort, Obama said Monday that “more Sunni volunteers are coming forward.”

Aside from long-running struggles in attracting Sunni volunteers in Iraq, efforts to train Syrian rebels are also sputtering. Fewer than 100 rebels are being trained by the U.S., far fewer than the goal of producing 5,400 fighters a year.

But Obama cited a string of victories over ISIS in both countries, including in Kirkuk, Tikrit and Kobani. He said, with the help of more than 5,000 coalition airstrikes, ISIS has lost more than a quarter of the population areas it once had seized in Iraq.

“ISIL’s strategic weaknesses are real,” Obama said.

But he said ISIS is “nimble” and digs in among local civilian populations, and, “It will take time to root them out.”

And, after a July Fourth holiday where security officials were on alert over terror threats, Obama warned that preventing lone wolf terror attacks on the homeland will continue to be a challenge.

“We’re going to have to pick up our game,” he said.

Obama met Monday with more than 30 Pentagon officials and national security advisers, including Secretary of Defense Ash Carter and Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

It appears to this writer that President Barack Hussein Obama, our first anti-American President, is rather ambivalent about the war against ISIS.

He says that he wants to prosecute this war, but his ineffective use of aerial drones and his reliance on the foreign Air Forces of Middle Eastern Countries , leaves a lot to be desired concerning his actual conviction to prosecute this war.

Does Obama value the “rights” of the followers of Mohammed more than the lives of Americans?

Obama spoke before the UN General Assembly in September of 2014. Joseph Curl, in an Op Ed for the Washington Times, titled “Obama’s breathtaking naivete at the United Nations” wrote,

He asked delegates from nations across the world to mull this “central question of our global age: Whether we will solve our problems together, in a spirit of mutual interest and mutual respect, or whether we descend into the destructive rivalries of the past.”

His answer? “It’s time for a broader negotiation in the region in which major powers address their differences directly, honestly, and peacefully across the table from one another, rather than through gun-wielding proxies.”

Simply believing something doesn’t make it so. The president’s desire for a world in which nations talk openly about their true feelings, perhaps share a good cry together, and sing kumbaya around the campfire, is the height of naivete.

So is this passage of his speech: ” … the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Islam teaches peace. Muslims the world over aspire to live with dignity and a sense of justice. And when it comes to America and Islam, there is no us and them, there is only us.”

But Islam and the holy Koran on which Muslim militant groups like al Qaeda and the Islamic State base their actions do call for the extermination of all who do not follow Islam, do demand that followers kill anyone who leaves the religion, do subjugate women. For the record, the Koran contains more than 100 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers.

Mr. Obama said in his speech that “all people of faith have a responsibility to lift up the value at the heart of all great religions: Do unto thy neighbor as you would do — you would have done unto yourself.” But that is not a cornerstone of Islam. Militant Muslims have a very different belief: “Fight in the name of your religion with those who disagree with you.” And that edict comes straight from their holiest book.

To the president, that ideology “will wilt and die if it is consistently exposed and confronted and refuted in the light of day.” Again, the callowness is astounding. While he urged the world, “especially Muslim communities,” to reject the ideology that underlies al Qaeda and the Islamic State, nothing will change the fact that cold-blooded killers are determined to destroy the West, wipe all infidels from the face of the earth and build a new caliphate based on strict adherence to Shariah law (which leans heavily toward beheadings, lashings, stonings).

The president let loose some passing platitudes — “right makes might,” “the only language understood by killers like this is the language of force” — but in the end Mr. Obama still labors under the delusion that the Islamic State group and its ilk have “perverted one of the world’s great religions.” He still rejects “any suggestion of a clash of civilizations” — despite al Qaeda’s and Islamic State’s express declaration of war against western civilization (and anyone who is not Muslim).

Not only does Obama seem more than content to go after these Islamic Killers with all the ferocity of a college co-ed in a pillow fight with her sorority sisters, he continues to rely on others to be our “boots on the ground” who are less than reliable.

As the King of Jordan showed us, several months ago, a leader has to stand up for his own citizens and defend them and his country in a way that will leave no doubt in the Neanderthal minds of Radical Muslims that any violence perpetrated on these citizens, will be delivered back to them one thousand-fold.

But, in order for that to occur, we would have to have an actual AMERICAN PRESIDENT, who loves this country.

Unfortunately, we still have to endure two long years of an anti-American President, who once said in a New York Times article, posted March 3, 2007:

“I was a little Jakarta street kid,” he said in a wide-ranging interview in his office. He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school, but a president is less likely to stereotype Muslims as fanatics — and more likely to be aware of their nationalism — if he once studied the Koran with them.

Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

I believe that if Obama had his way, he would hear that call to prayer every morning from the Upstairs Living Quarters at the White House.

Our First Anti-American President Shows His True Colors

However, their 14-percentage-point edge over liberals last year, 38% vs. 24%, is the smallest in Gallup’s trends since 1992. The percentage of U.S. adults identifying themselves as politically conservative in 2014 was unchanged from 2013, as was the percentage of moderates, at 34%, while the percentage considering themselves liberal rose a percentage point for the third straight year. – Gallup.com

This being true…

When did America stop being the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave…and start being the Land of the Restricted and the Home of the Apologetic?

Regardless of what your first thought probably is, this phenomenon did not originate with Barack Hussein Obama, it just intensified with him.

Thoughout his reign as the Leader of the Far Left, masquerading as a Moderate President of the United States, Obama has shown himself to be out of touch with average American thought.

Let’s review a few examples:

He started out his presidency by giving a speech at the University of Cairo, on June 4th, 2009,  an attempt to reach out to the Muslim World, the same people who danced in the streets when 3,000 Americans were massacred on September 1st, 2001.  He said:

…There must be a sustained effort to listen to each other; to learn from each other; to respect one another; and to seek common ground. As the Holy Koran tells us, “Be conscious of God and speak always the truth.” (Applause.) That is what I will try to do today — to speak the truth as best I can, humbled by the task before us, and firm in my belief that the interests we share as human beings are far more powerful than the forces that drive us apart

Now part of this conviction is rooted in my own experience. I’m a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims. As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and at the fall of dusk. As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith.

As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam. It was Islam — at places like Al-Azhar — that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe’s Renaissance and Enlightenment. It was innovation in Muslim communities — (applause) — it was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality. (Applause.)

I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President, John Adams, wrote, “The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims.” And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, they have served in our government, they have stood for civil rights, they have started businesses, they have taught at our universities, they’ve excelled in our sports arenas, they’ve won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers — Thomas Jefferson — kept in his personal library. (Applause.)

This was only the beginning of a worldwide apology tour, where he made a very public show of apologizing for our country’s transgressions to every two-bit, tinhorn despot around the globe.

Beginning with the passage of Obamacare, by him and his Congressional minions, holding clandestine meetings, both on Christmas, and in the dark of night, Obama has shown the propensity to do whatever he wants to, in order to further his personal agenda, regardless of the wishes of the people whom he is supposed to be serving.

The day after this Gallup Presidential Job Approval Poll closed, Obama, flailing mightily in a situation of his own making, the Debt Ceiling/Budget Battle, announced in a morning press conference, that 80% of Americans wanted their taxes increased.

Of course, he had no corroborating evidence to back that claim up.  He just pulled it out of thin air (or a darker region).

Let’s look at a more recent occurrence, shall we?

The Friday night before last, after the United States Supreme Court decided to legislate, instead of interpret the existing rights of the Constitution, and ruled that “gay marriage” was a “right’, Obama and his henchwoman, the Iranian Valerie Jarrett, decided to bathe the White House in a rainbow of spotlights, in garish celebration.

So naturally, they bathed the White House last Saturday Night in Red, White, and Blue, right?

Are you kiddin’?

Of course they didn’t.

In American Politics, as far as anybody can remember, that is still alive and kicking, you have had those of a political ideology who were Pro-American and Gung Ho about all the things that this country stands for. And, on the other side, you had those of a political ideology who criticized everything that America stood for, and still stands for, to this day.

From those who believed that Communism would be great for America back in the 1950s, to those in the 1960’s, who wanted to “tune in, turn on, and drop out”, and spit on our returning Servicemen, to those of the 1970s who were naive pacifists like their President, Jimmy Carter, to those in the 1980s, who were part of the “Me Generation”, to those whom we call “Progressives” (a misnomer) or “Modern Liberals” in our present generation, Including President Barack Hussein Obama and all of his minions, there has always been a minority segment of American Society, who despise everything that this land, which was given us by the Almighty and was fought for and died for by those before us, stands for, while they reap all the benefits of America the Beautiful.

As I wrote yesterday, America is suffering under this “Tyranny of the Minority”.

Obama owes everything that he is to the benevolence and largess of America and her people.

In his second term as President, he has proven that he is president of some of the people, not all of the people.

And, those of us, whom his failed political ideology does not appeal to, have had enough and are not going “quietly into that good night”.

Ask those country clerks who have resigned rather than issue marriage licenses to homosexual “couples”. Or, ask those NASCAR Fans proudly and defiantly waving their Confederate Flags at Daytona this past weekend.

Barack Hussein Obama’s “flipping the bird” to the American People on the evening of the 4th, shows just how ignorant his pandering to special interest groups and his disdain of us “average Americans” really is.

Where the exceptionalism of America lies…is not in the Halls of Power…but in the courage and spirit of the average American. A courage and spirit, which our history proves, has driven American Citizens to build a nation, which is indeed exceptional among all others.

Thr secret of this country’s exceptionalism is the “Average Joe”, the 9 to 5′er, working himself into the grave to try to provide for his family.

It was this same “Average Joe”, who fired the shot heard around the world and began the War for American Independence, who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II, who waded through rice paddies in Vietnam, and who swallowed sand in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The same “Average Joe” who, as a New York City Policeman or Fireman, ran up the stairs of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, instead of running down them. The same “Average Joe”, who simply wants things to be easier in this life for his children and grandchildren, than he had it.

It is this same “Average Joe”, who takes family and friends in, when they are in the midst of a life-altering tragedy. The same “Average Joe”, who volunteers on a soup line or at a Senior Citizens Home, or, who begins a successful business in his basement.

Liberal Bureaucrats, like Secretary of State John Kerry and his boss, are professional political prevaricators. Men and women, whose ethics and morality change with the direction of the wind, and whose egos override their judgment…every time.

America is a Constitutional Republic. We are not ruled by a faceless all-powerful government. America’s politicians, including President Barack Hussein Obama, are OUR SERVANTS….not the other way around.

And, as their Boss, we expect them to possess a more complete knowledge of the history of the most exceptional nation on the face of God’s green Earth. We expect them to honor and respect the lives given and the sacrifices made by courageous Americans, who paved the way for you and the rest of this selfish generation, who are so desperately attempting to rewrite American History in order for it to be in accordance with the tenets of their Liberal Ideology.

America’s place in the world or her Traditional Values are not things so fragile that they can be unalterably changed by a lightweight like Barack Hussein Obama.

As author Dinesh D’ Souza wrote…

What does the doctrine of American exceptionalism empower the United States to do? Nothing more than to act better than traditional empires – committed to looting and conquest – have done. So that’s American exceptionalism: an exceptionalism based on noble ideas, ideas that it holds itself to even when it falls short of them.

In conclusion, it is not a single politician that decides America’s place in the world or the values which average Americans hold dear.

It is the fact of American Exceptionalism, seen in the lives of  average hard-working Americans, like you and me.

And, that is something that Obama and these rest of those who embrace his failed political ideology will never understand.

Valerie Jarrett: The Power Behind The Throne (A KJ Unauthorized Biography)

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) files obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government.

Jarrett’s dad, pathologist and geneticist Dr. James Bowman, had extensive ties to Communist associations and individuals, his lengthy FBI file shows. In 1950 Bowman was in communication with a paid Soviet agent named Alfred Stern, who fled to Prague after getting charged with espionage. Bowman was also a member of a Communist-sympathizing group called the Association of Internes and Medical Students. After his discharge from the Army Medical Corps in 1955, Bowman moved to Iran to work, the FBI records show.

On August 22, 2014, I published the following unauthorized biography of President Barack Hussein Obama’s henchwoman, with a very questionable background…

I just worry a lot. I’m a worrier. Michelle and Barack are really dear to me. I mean, I love them. And I don’t want to see them get hurt. Just the nature of politics is hurtful. So every time they are hurt, I get hurt. It’s a lot to ask of people, and it’s a lot to see your friends go through. It’s hard not to get emotional. – Valerie Jarrett

Every American who has paid any attention at all to the goings-on at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, knows who Valerie Jarrett is.

Valerie Jarrett was born in November 1956 to American parents in Shiraz, Iran, where her well-known physician father ran a children’s hospital. When Valerie was five, her family moved to London for one year before arriving in Chicago’s elite Hyde Park neighborhood in 1963.

Jarrett’s maternal grandfather was a Chicago Communist named Robert Taylor, who was involved in the 1940s with the Communist Organizations, the American Peace Mobilization and the Chicago Civil Liberties Committee.  Also a member of these groups was Frank Marshall Davis.

Frank Marshall Davis (1905 – 1987) was an author, liberal activist, Stalinist agent, and self-admitted pedophile (Would you let your children hang around him?) . Davis was involved in Chicago’s South Side Community Art Center, “a meeting place for young African-American writers and artists during the 1940s”. Coming out of the New Deal Federal Art Project, the Art Center was a hangout for the “Culture Group,” a circle of Communist Party members and sympathizers including Richard Wright, Margaret Burroughs, Marion Perkins and Arna Bontemps.

Jarrett’s mother (Robert Taylor’s daughter) is early childhood education author Barbara Taylor Bowman. She was a co-founder of a Chicago-based graduate school in child development known as the Erikson Institute, named after the psychoanalyst Erik Erikson. Back in 1950, Erikson became a hero to the Radical Left when he resigned from professorship at the University of California, rather than submit to sign an anti-communist loyalty oath as the school required.

Additional evidence of the Erikson Institute’s Radical Left political orientation is the make-up of  its board of trustees, which has included, along with Bowman, Tom Ayers (father of Marxist Bomber Bill Ayers (the man Obama called “just a guy in the neighborhood”) and Bill Ayer’s wife, Bernardine Dohrn. Bill Ayers referred to Bowman as “a neighbor and friend” in his 1997 book “A Kind and Just Parent”, in which he wrote that his neighbors also included Louis Farrakhan and “writer Barack Obama”.

Jarrett received a B.A. in psychology from Stanford University in 1978, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School in 1981. In 1983, she married Dr. William Robert Jarrett, son of the Chicago Sun-Times reporter Vernon Jarrett. Vernon Jarrett was a pioneering black journalist who in the 1940s wrote columns for the communist-influenced Chicago Defender extolling Communist poet Langston Hughes and lifelong Stalinists W.E.B. DuBois and Paul Robeson. Also in the 1940s, Mr. Jarrett was a leader of the Chicago chapter of American Youth for Democracy—youth wing of the Communist Party USA. He also served on a publicity committee for the Packinghouse Workers Union, a Chicago-based entity dominated by the CPUSA.  During his time with each of these Communist Organizations, Mr. Jarrett had close contact with Frank Marshall Davis.

The plot sickens.

Jarrett worked as a Freelance Writer at Kansas City’s The Call from 1954-58, then returned to Chicago to become the first nationally syndicated black columnist for the Chicago Tribune, before going to write for the Chicago Sun-Times. Mr. Jarrett once sat on a union publicity committee (for the communist-controlled Packinghouse Workers Union) with Frank Marshall Davis. When Vernon Jarrett died in 2004, he was saluted in the pages of People’s Weekly Worker, the house organ of the Communist Party USA.

Valerie Jarrett began her political profession by jumping into Chicago politics in 1987. She accepted a position as Deputy Corporation Counsel for Finance and Development in the administration of Harold Washington, the city’s first African-American mayor. Jarrett’s father-in-law, whom The Washington Post called “a key influence in [Harold] Washington’s decision to run for the Chicago mayoralty,” is rumored to have been the “Kingmaker” responsible for Valerie’s rise through Chicago’s political ranks.

Following Mayor Washington’s death in 1987, Valerie Jarrett worked for his successor, Richard M. Daley, as his Deputy Chief of Staff. In 1991, Jarrett and her colleague Susan Sher recruited to Chicago’s City Hall Michelle Robinson (the future Michelle “Mooch” Obama), who was engaged to Barack Obama. Jarrett quickly became a trusted confidante of both the Obamas.

SIDE NOTE: ***In the summer of 1988, while still at Harvard, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) landed a job as an intern in the Chicago office of the influential law firm of Sidley Austin. ( How does a first-year law student get an internship at such a prestigious law firm?)  He was dating Michelle Robinson, a young lawyer from a working-class family in the South Shore area of the South Side.  She also just happened to be his mentor at the firm. The lovebirds got married in 1990, and settled in the Hyde Park neighborhood on the South Side along the lakefront.  Built around the University of Chicago, both black and white  affluent families lived among the middle class and the poor.  Hyde Park boasts a strong base of independent voters who are committed to political reform, which influenced Obama’s political message.***

Jarrett was Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development from 1992 through 1995. After that, she chaired the Chicago Transit Board from 1995 to 2005.  Then, from 1995 to 2008, she was the CEO of The Habitat Company, a real estate firm headed by Daniel Levin (cousin of Senator Carl Levin and Representative Sander Levin of Michigan). Marilyn Katz, an activist/public-affairs consultant with close ties to City Hall (and a former Students for a Democratic Society radical) introduced Jarrett to Daniel Levin.

During the years 2000 to 2007, Jarrett was a board member of the Chicago Stock Exchange. She still serves as Chairman of the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Board of Trustees; Vice Chairman of the University of Chicago’s Board of Trustees; a Trustee of Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry; and a Board of Directors member of USG Corporation, a Chicago-based building-materials company.

In 2008, Jarrett was the co-chair of the Obama-Biden Transition Project.

In appreciation of her hard work (and the fact that she was a “bud”), she was appointed to the position of  Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Obama Administration.

Jarrett swiftly became one of President Obama’s (and Mrs. Obama’s) closest and most trusted advisers. According to what an Obama 2008 campaign official told the New York Times,

If you want [Barack Obama] to do something, there are two people [he’s] not going to say no to: Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama.

Also in 2008, Susan Sher, who had helped Jarrett recruit Michelle Obama to the Chicago Mayor’s Office in 1991, made a point to emphasize “how incredibly instrumental [Jarrett will] be in virtually everything” in the White House.

Barack Obama thinks that Valerie Jarrett hung the moon and stars.

In July 2009, Obama informed New York Times reporter Robert Draper that,

I trust her completely … She is family.

Obama trusts Jarrett “to speak for me, particularly when we’re dealing with delicate issues.”

The president readily admits that he runs every decision by her.

Concerning her relationship with President Obama, Jarrett says that

We have kind of a mind meld. And chances are, what he wants to do is what I’d want to do.

Jarrett 1Valerie Jarrett is the Senior Adviser and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement. However, her official title belies the wide-reaching power she holds in the Obama Administration. As the President and First Lady’s closest friend and confidante, she is often the last person to leave the Oval Office after meetings, and frequently dines with the first family in their private quarters upstairs in “The People’s House”.

Ms. Jarrett is said to be, by those who would know, “the eyes, ears, and nose of the president and first lady. She tells them who’s saying what about who, who’s loyal and who’s not. She advises them about who they should see when they visit a city or a foreign country. She determines who gets invited to the White House and who is left out in the cold.”

Jarrett is actually more powerful than the White House Chief of Staff, as was demonstrated in the “White House Civil Wars” which occurred between her and Rahm Emmanuel and later, Jarrett and William M. Daley.

As was documented in Jodi Kantor’s book, “The Obamas’”, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel went to President Barack Obama, offering to resign in the winter of 2010, after a series of newspapers columns were published, which proclaimed him as the only thing keeping the Obama presidency intact. Former Senior Adviser David Axelrod claims that Emanuel knew that those stories “were an embarrassment” to Obama. The president, already doing poorly in his effort to ram Government-run Healthcare down Americans’ throats, refused the offer to resign, despite being convinced that Emmanuel was actually leaking information to those who were writing the columns.

Michelle Obama and Valerie Jarrett formed a coalition, working together against Rahm Emmanuel’s advice concerning what came to be known as the Affordable Care Act. The “team up” to get the president’s ear on the matter, an effort which eventually led to Rahm Emmanuel’s department from the Obama White House.

Chicago Politician William M. Daley, served as Obama’s Chief of Staff from 2011-2012. He is the brother of Former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and the youngest son of legendary Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley. Obama chose Daley to be his White House chief of staff back in January 2011, but the former banker and veteran political fighter had a rocky road to hoe, to say the least. To say that the job, was not the best fit for him, would be an understatement.

Daley was brought in to improve relations with the business community, Republican Congressmen and women, and others with whom he had built ties over the years. His attempts to create some sort of a ‘grand bargain’ to solve the debt and deficit row fell apart, due to the influence of Tea Party hardliners in Congress, who refused to back down.

Additionally, the Obamas were particularly ‘horrified’ when Valerie Jarrett was forced out of her high-ranking job at Chicago’s City Hall in 1995, so Valerie and her gal pal “Mooch” double-teamed Barry’s ear lobes again…and POOF! Sayonara Chief of Staff Daley.

Just because Ms. Jarrett is the president’s Senior Adviser, does not mean that she makes good decisions.

Jarrett is, quite frankly, Obama’s “Bad Idea Friend”.

For example,

Obamacare – Even though both Emanuel and political strategist David Axelrod had warned Obama time and again that he didn’t have the votes to ram Obamacare through Congress, Jarrett was among those who got the president to go full stream ahead and ram it down our throats. And, of course, the rest is history…as Obama’s poll numbers continue to slide.

Bringing the Olympics to Chicago – Emanuel fought with “ValJar” over her plans to have Obama give his Presidential Support to Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics. It was Emanuel’s belief that Jarrett was in cahoots with her old boss, Mayor Daley, and his political cronies in the back rooms of Chicago, who would reap a healthy profit from the billions of dollars that would be spent on the Olympics. Rahmbo’s pleas fell on deaf ears, as Obama and his entourage, including Oprah Winfrey, hopped on Air Force One and jetted to Copenhagen to make an impassioned plea for the Olympics, and came back home with egg on his face.

In an uncommonly hard-hitting investigative piece, the Boston Globe’s Binyamin Appelbaum blew the whistle on the rodent-infested, sewage-clogged Chicago slums run by the Obamas’ most trusted confidante. Jarrett refused to answer any questions about Grove Parc, “citing what she called a continuing duty to Habitat’s former business partners.” A “continuing duty,” presumably, to whitewash the inconvenient truth about the failed public-private partnerships the Obamas continue to promote in the White House:

…In one of those endless Chicago coincidences, Grove Parc Plaza Apartments—now targeted for demolition as a result of years of neglect by Obama’s developer friends—sits in the shadows of the proposed site of the city’s 2016 Olympics Stadium. Valerie Jarrett is vice chair of Chicago’s Olympics committee.

Solyndra – Jarrett was instrumental in securing the $535 million taxpayer-funded loan guarantee to Solyndra, a California solar company which, of course, as all of these “Green Companies” are wont to do, went belly up. Jarrett was closely connected to the George Kaiser Family Foundation, which controlled 35.7 percent of Solyndra. The foundation had made a sizable donation to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where Jarrett once served as chairwoman and where one of Obama’s best friends, Eric Whitaker, is currently executive vice president.

The Raid on bin Laden – According to author Richard Minter, in his book “Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him”, Obama canceled the mission to kill bin Laden in January 2011, again in February, and a third time in March. According to the author, Jarrett persuaded him to hold off each time, according to the book.

Minter, a two-time New York Times best-selling author, cited an unnamed source with Joint Special Operations Command who had direct knowledge of the operation and its planning, as his source.

Minter also noted that Obama administration officials said after the raid that the president had delayed giving the order to kill the mastermind behind the barbaric slaughter of 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001, the day before the raid was carried out, in what turned out to be his fourth moment of indecision. At the time, the Administration laid the blame for the delay on unfavorable weather conditions near bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

However, when Minter obtained that day’s weather reports from the U.S. Air Force Combat Meteorological Center, he said, they showed perfect weather conditions for the SEALs to carry out their orders.

SUMMARY: So, who is Valerie Jarrett? Yes, she is Obama’s Senior Adviser and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg.

She is the Obamas’ best friend and consigliere.  She holds more power that anyone in the White House, except the First Couple themselves. Iranian by both birth and heritage and Communist or, at least, Radical Left, by familial affiliation, she brings a dangerous combination of both religious and political ideologues, espoused by the enemies of America, to a position of political power and governmental authority, in which she is quite capable, in a clandestine fashion, of changing the direction of the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth.

Charleston’ s Aftermath: The Purposeful Marginalization of the South

Yesterday, while I was about and about, performing the duties of my real job, the Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, made the following observation…

This effort to have the battle flag of northern Virginia removed is really an attempt to segregate and isolate the entire South and to sort of Alinsky it. You know, the Rules for Radicals, you seek the target, you isolate it, you attack it, humiliate it. This flag represents what the left believes is the last remaining Republican electoral stronghold in terms of presidential politics, and that would be the South. So this is an effort going far beyond the Confederate flag or the battle flag of the army of northern Virginia.

This flag represents to the left a symbol of everything that’s wrong with not just South Carolina, but North Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, you name it. And that’s what the objective here really is. And that’s why when Republicans make these efforts to appease, to please, and even if they think they’re doing the right thing, it never is enough, and it’s never genuine, and it’s never accepted, or very rarely is it accepted. Very rarely do the Republicans seeking to gain political points with their opponents or their enemies actually pull that off by acceding to their demands.

So just keep a sharp eye on this because you’ll see, even after the flag comes down, it’s not gonna be the end of this. After the flag comes down, after the flag is removed, you’re gonna continue to hear what it stands for, what it stood for, how rotten it is and how even though it’s gone, you can bet they will report that Southerners all across this country in heart and in mind and even geographically will be displaying the flag in their homes and on their cars with bumper stickers and so forth. Just keep a sharp eye. ‘Cause I’m telling you the flag is a symbol and it’s a symbol to the left, and it represents a far more wide reaching objective than just getting the flag removed from public view.

You got Walmart saying: We’re not gonna sell any flag, Confederate flag merchandise anymore. We’re not gonna sell anything that offends anybody. Okay. Well, that’s an open invitation to the left to go out and claim that anything that they don’t like in Walmart that represents Republicanism, conservatism could offend them. You wait, folks. I mean, we’ve been trending in this direction for years now. This is really nothing new.

The point that Rush made yesterday is, as usual, spot on.

In every single presidential election, since I first voted for Future President Ronald Reagan in November of 1980, the voters of the South have proven to be the linchpin upon which all presidential candidates’ victory depended upon.

If you were able, as a Democrat or a Republican, to get the voters of the South to cast their ballots for you, you became the President of the United States of America.

The South, to this day, remains essential to winning the White House.

The Liberals in the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, alike, or the Vichy Republicans, as I call them, are all too aware of this political fact.

However, those who believe that the South, in the Year of Our Lord 2015, is still backwards, or somehow inferior to their point of view, or political ideology, have jumped at the effort to negate a period of our history in which American blood on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line was shed in combat.

Why, have these liberal politicians shifted the focus of the nation away from the mental illness of the sociopath who gunned down 9 innocent Christians at a Wednesday Night Church Service, shifting our  country’s attention, instead, to the perceived offensive nature of the Battle Flag of the Army of Virginia?

Simple: Political Expediency.

By marginalizing the South through this effort, American Liberals, from President Barack Hussein Obama on down the line, are hoping to diminish and possibly negate the leverage that Southern States have in molding the Political Landscape of America.

Even after 6 plus years under a Far Left President, America is still a Center-Right Nation.

Through their efforts to make an inanimate object responsible for the death of the Pastor and 8 members of Emanuel AME Church, these politicians and their minions hope to swing the Political Pendulum toward their side of the Political Aisle.

They know that, if somehow, they can place the Southern States in a “bad light” and at a Political Disadvantage, that perhaps our voice in the political affairs of this nation, will not carry as much weight.

Plus, between you and me and the water cooler, Liberals in the Northern and Western States remain ticked off that both American and International Businesses are still relocating to the South, where the climate is friendlier, the Unions have not made the cost of doing business unprofitable, and, where Old-Fashioned American Work Ethic still exists.

Just sayin’.

But, I digress.

The Alinsky-approved Tactics, currently being employed by Barack Obama and his Liberal minions on both sides of the aisle, are giving them, at best, a temporary victory.

This effort against the Stars and Bars, while incendiary and pyrrhic in nature, has the lasting effect of a bottle rocket.

The thing about attempting to rewrite and ignore history, is the fact that Liberals have no power over it. 

It has already happened.

And, they are powerless to change it.

Black American Economist and Conservative Political Pundit, Dr. Walter E. Williams, wrote the following piercing words, in an article posted on January 26, 2000…

The flap over the Confederate flag is not quite as simple as the nation’s race experts make it. They want us to believe the flag is a symbol of racism. Yes, racists have used the Confederate flag, but racists have also used the Bible and the U.S. flag. Should we get rid of the Bible and lower the U.S. flag? Black civil rights activists and their white liberal supporters who’re attacking the Confederate flag have committed a deep, despicable dishonor to our patriotic black ancestors who marched, fought and died to protect their homeland from what they saw as Northern aggression.

They don’t deserve the dishonor.

Facts are stubborn things.

Not Letting a Crisis Go to Waste, Obama To Deliver Eulogy for Charleston Victims

Obama CharlestonJust when you think that the current part-time occupant of the Oval Office has injected himself in every single perceived racially-divisive cause de celebre in the last 6 years, he doubles down on self-aggrandizement.

DailyMail.co.uk reports that

President Barack Obama will give the eulogy at the funeral of Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church pastor, the late Rev. Clementa Pinckney, on Friday, the White House has confirmed.

The news was first reported by The Post and Courier this afternoon and was quickly confirmed by the White House.

Vice President Joe Biden will also attend the Charleston, South Carolina, funeral service.

Additional details about the president’s trip were not immediately available.

Ok. I have had enough.

Barack Hussein Obama, has to be the most reprehensible president I have ever seen in my 56 years on this planet.

You can bet dollars to donuts that, when he stands at the pulpit to give this eulogy, he will politicize the ever loving mess out of it.

He will bring up in no certain order, racial division, class warfare, gun control, the Confederate flag, the holding back of America’s black population, and, if he is given the chance, how mean everybody has been to him as President.

Now, please don’t get me wrong.

I mourn with the City of Charleston over the loss of 9 innocent Christians. They all were a part of the Body of Christ, As I am, and every other Christian American is.

As an aside, you know what is sad about this whole ugly situation?

Not only are we seeing tragedies like this more often, but, I guarantee you, there will be more on the horizon.

Why? The Liberals are telling you that it’s the guns’ fault and Americans own too many of them.

Well, first off, Americans have owned guns since this nation was born.

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads,

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

This Amendment was written by our forefathers to protect Americans from not only foreign enemies and despots, but, internal ones, as well.

And, that is what makes Liberals nervous.

You see, without that Second Amendment, and the protection that it provides American citizens, an out-of-control president could, through executive orders, take away our personal freedoms.

Not to mention the fact, that “If guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns”.

Ask the people of Norway about that.

On Friday, July 22, 2011, a Norwegian gunman, disguised as a police officer beckoned his victims closer before shooting them one by one, claiming at least 84 lives, in a horrific killing spree on an idyllic island teeming with youths that left that peaceful Nordic nation in mourning.

The island tragedy unfolded hours after a massive explosion ripped through a high-rise building housing the prime minister’s office, killing seven people in a scene some likened to the aftermath of 9/11.

Equally sad, as I wrote about yesterday, is the banning of the Confederate Flag, which, as the Liberals on both Sides of the Political Aisle will also tell you, is, in fact, somehow responsible for the actions of the sociopath, Dylann Storm Roof.

The tidal wave of Political Appeasement crested last night, as the South’s Own International Retail Chain, our Beloved Walmart, now controlled by Liberals, instead of Sam Walton’s Family, acquiesqued to the National PC Police, and announced that they were going to pull Confederate Merchandise from their shelves.

That whirring sound that you heard last night was Walmart Founder, Sam Walton, spinning in his grave.

So, as it has been proven time and again, Obama and his Liberal Brethren never let an opportunity to politicize a crisis, or horrible event in life of our nation, go to waste.

This  tital wave of “using a crisis” is not unexpected.

Obama has spent the entire tenure of his administration being inappropriate.

In the past, Obama has been seen chewing gum like a cow chewing it’s kud, during solemn ceremonies. He even gave a DVD of his greatest speeches to England’s Royal Family, when they visited America.

Then, just yesterday, while referring to Race Relations in America, his favorite subject besides himself, the President of United States, appearing on a podcast, known for its foul and inappropriate language, dropped the “N” word, in public if you will, as the late, great professional wrestler Dusty Rhodes, used to say.

Low-rent and hypocritical, considering all the charges of racism that he likes to throw around, concerning the police, and the rest of us ol’ crackas, huh?

But, then again, this is a new kind of President. A President who believes that every crisis is an opportunity to further his political agenda.

So for me, to predict, that President Barack Hussein Obama will use the eulogy of a Christian Pastor and Democrat State Senator in Charleston, South Carolina to further his political agenda, is not me making a wild accusation, at all.

Given the history of Petulant President Pantywaist, and the Political Circus that has followed the Charleston Church Shooting, it is a foregone conclusion.

And, our “One Nation Under God”, will continue to be purposefully divided.

The Charleston Church Massacre: When Gun Control Fails, Blame the Confederate Flag

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said on Sunday he wouldn’t be “baited” into the politically charged Confederate flag debate in South Carolina, joining a group of fellow GOP White House contenders that says the state must decide.

“Everyone’s being baited with this question as if somehow that has anything to do whatsoever with running for president,” Huckabee, a 2008 presidential candidate and former Arkansas governor, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “My position is it most certainly does not.”

Fellow GOP candidate and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum took a similar position.

“We should let the people of South Carolina go through the process of making this decision,” he said on ABC’s “This Week.”

Their remarks came a day after GOP presidential hopeful Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker also said South Carolina should decide whether to allow the Confederate battle flag to fly above the capital grounds.

Walker also said he would honor a request by Gov. Nikki Haley, a Republican, to reserve comment on whether the flag is a symbol of racism.

He said he would wait until after the funerals for the nine black people fatally shot Wednesday by a white man in a historic African-American church in Charleston, S.C. — the incident that re-ignited the flag controversy.

South Carolina GOP Sen. Tim Scott, one of only two black U.S. senators, told CBS’ “Face the Nation” that he also would wait until after the funerals to comment.

Flag supporters say it is a symbol of Confederate and southern heritage while critics argued it is a relic of white supremacy.

In 2000, civil right activists got the flag removed from inside the South Carolina statehouse and from atop the capitol dome. However, the flag still flies on the capital grounds in Columbia, S.C.

The controversy has since become an issue in presidential campaign politics, in large part because South Carolina is one of three early-voting states in which defeat or even a poor showing can end a White House bid.

“I don’t think you could say that the presence of one lunatic racist, who everybody in this country feels contempt for, and no one is defending, is somehow evidence of the people of South Carolina,” Huckabee also said Sunday, regarding the church tragedy and alleged shooter Dylann Roof. “I don’t personally display it anywhere, that’s the issue for the people of South Carolina.”

He also said that voters don’t want the presidential candidates to “weigh in on every little issue in all 50 states that might be an important issue to the people of those states, but it’s not on the desk of the president.”

On Saturday, GOP presidential candidate and senior GOP South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said the flag is “part of who we are,” while acknowledging it might be “time to revisit” the decision to allow it to fly over the state capitol grounds.

The same day, another Republican presidential candidate, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, touted what his state did in 2001 about the flag, a year after the South Carolina decision.

“In Florida, we acted, moving the flag from the state grounds to a museum where it belonged,” he said in a statement. “I’m confident [South Carolina] will do the right thing.”

Also this weekend, 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney called for the flag to be removed from the state capitol grounds.

“To many, it is a symbol of racial hatred,” he tweeted. “Remove it now to honor #Charlestonvictims.” 

First off, boys and girls. how does denying a part of Southern History and Heritage honor the innocent Christian American Victims of a madman?

Do all of these Liberals, and spineless Republicans, “Mittens” included, actually know…or care…to learn the truth about the “Stars and Bars”?

Not all of the Republicans are spineless, though. Some actually have the guts to make sense on the subject.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz told The Associated Press in a statement that the last thing the people of the southern state need is “people from outside of the state coming in and dictating how they should resolve it.”

The presidential candidate said he understands both sides of the debate – including those who see the flag as a symbol of “racial oppression and a history of slavery” and “those who want to remember the sacrifices of their ancestors and the traditions of their states – not the racial oppression, but the historical traditions.”

It has been absolutely amazing…and disappointing to watch the reaction of Professional Politicians, Pundits, and Provocateurs, in the aftermath of the savage mass murder of 9 innocent Christian Americans, who were participating in Wednesday Night’s Service in Emanuel AME Church in the heart of Charleston, NC.

First, Al Sharpton scurried his race-baiting as…err…self to Charleston, searching for the nearest camera…and deep pocketbook. Then, Gerry Rivers (Geraldo Rivera), took the Redeye Flight on in, continuing his never-ending quest to somehow regain some relevancy…and to make Americans forget about Al Capone’s Vault.

Meanwhile, all of the self-serving politicians started to chime in.

Obama, with his whining about Gun Control, energized his Hive-Mind Base, who immediately hit the Internet, including Facebook, with all sorts of stupid blogs and memes, attempting to buoy the rapidly-sinking Ship of State, the USS(R) Obama.

Seeing that Americans still were not buying into the Marxist-inspired Gun Control Scenario, they then, in their increasing frustration, as they watched the Christians of Charleston band together, as human shields, preventing them from making any political hay over this senseless violence, turned their attention to another lost cause, the attempted removal of the Confederate Battle Flag as the State Flag of South Carolina.

Why? Because, they are shrieking, Mittens included, that…THAT FLAG IS RAAACIIIST!

Did I miss something? Did a flag flown in the War Between the States, some 150 years ago, somehow come to life, and malevolently and maliciously murder 9  Christian Black Americans, last Wednesday Night, during their Church Service?

Why…no. A young sociopath did.

So, why are Liberals on both sides of the aisle, focusing on this, instead of the problem of how America deals with those struggling with mental illness?

Simple: Deflection.

Liberal Democrats are deflecting attention away from their failures, including their biggest one, who currently saunters down to the Oval Office at 10:30 a.m. every weekday, and puts his feet up on the desk.

Liberals Republicans are attempting to stay relevant, by sucking up to Liberal Democrats.

Republican Presidential Hopefuls are scared to death that they might say something wrong.

Meanwhile, American Families, all over the country, are dealing with the reality of family members fighting mental illness.

And, Mitt and his fellow Vichy Republicans still can’t figure out why Conservatives in the Heartland will not vote for them, in Presidential Elections.

The Charleston Church Massacre: Of “Princes and Principalities”

th (14)As the nation continues to reel from the savage attack by a lunatic with, evidently, a racial axe to grind, who murdered 9 innocent Christians in Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, I have a question to ask you this morning :

Do you believe in Evil?

According to Gallup. Com, 92% of us in this country believe in a Supreme Being.

Therefore, if you believe in a benevolent God, logic dictates that you also believe in the Prince of the air, Lucifer, now known as Satan, once God’s most beautiful angel, known as the Lightbringer, who was cast down from heaven after rebelling against God.

By now, “the smartest people in the room”, are groaning, saying to themselves,

Surely, this stupid old cracker is not going to suggest that “the Devil made him do it”?

Well, boys and girls, Biblical Experts, including our Christian Leaders, whom we listen to every Sunday morning, tell us that while Satan is not allowed to physically harm us, as all of these popular Horror Movies “preach”, he is the Master of Deception and will continuously whisper in our ear, until he convinces us that wrong is right in right is wrong.

As Adam said to Eve,

I’ll bite.

I have spent the last couple of days, when I wasn’t working at my job, watching in fascination, as the Left side of the Political Aisle, as we euphemistically call Modern American Liberals, have inundated Facebook with articles and ignorant memes, attempting to make the murderer, Dylann Roof, out to be a Conservative White Supremacist.

This has turned out to be a completely false accusation, as his friends have related that the young man was not even interested in politics, whatsoever.

So, why did this young man turn into a murderous sociopath?

Somewhere, somehow, this 9th grade dropout, became convinced, through watching the news, and listening to the voices in his head, demons, imps, call them what you will, that America’s black population was somehow taking over this country and ruining it.

He became convinced. in his troubled mind, that it was up to him to do something about it. So, he went to Wednesday Night Bible Study at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Of course, all of the theories put for by the before-mentioned Liberals, that I heard all day yesterday, were a continuance of the speech made by President Barack Hussein Obama from the previous day, in which he said, basically, that this wouldn’t have  happened, if America had stricter “Gun Laws”, i.e., Gun Control.

Of course, the answer given back to these Liberals on Facebook and everywhere else the last couple of days, has been, if somebody in that congregation had actually been armed, through their First Amendment Right, Dylann Roof would not have been successful.

Over the next several weeks, perhaps months, every person seeking attention and believing themselves to be a pundit, whether political, sociological, or psychological, will spout forth all sorts of theories as to the motives of this sociopath.

They will probably claim that he wasn’t given enough attention as a child. Or, maybe they’ll put forth that he was hanging around the wrong crowd. And, of course the political pundits on the Left side of the Political Aisle, will testify that it is because he is of the Conservative Political Ideology.

My theory, as to his motivation, is much more simple than that.

Dylann Roof is evil.

Make no mistake about it, boys and girls, EVIL EXISTS.

We see it everyday around us.

It inundates the cable news channels, 24 hours a day. Heck, you can even see it on Facebook.

Since Cain slew Able with a rock, mankind, because we are all fallen creatures, has had to deal with the presence of evil in our lives.

From the legendary massacres, perpetrated by Vlad the Impaler, to the horrific scenes of Hitler’s Concentration Camps, to the killing fields of Pol Pot, to the massacre of innocent Middle Eastern Christians by Islamic State, to the murders by Chicago Street Gangs every night, the Forces of Evil continue to flourish across the globe.

So, while Wednesday night’s massacre in Charleston is a single act of violence and pure evil in a sea of many, the reaction by Christian Americans  to it has been remarkable.

The outpouring of Christian Compassion and the act of forgiveness by the families of those slain by this madman, given to Dylann Roof, has made this Christian American take a step back for a moment and praise the Righteousness and Amazing Grace of the One Who made him.

Yes, my friends. We are still fighting a war against “princes and principalities”. Evil is still alive and well and flourishing in a world in which relative morality and situational ethics have seemingly become the norm, instead of the exception.

However, the reaction to the events in Charleston have renewed my hope.

It is not a political hope, like we have heard spoken of, in the empty promises of man, for the last 7 years, Rather, mine is a hope, a belief, in the Divine Spark which is in each and every one of us. A Spark, which, if given the chance, glows brightly enough to not only to dispel, but to defeat the darkness around us.

So, as you go about your day today, remember, that we have an Advocate, in Jesus Christ the Righteous, and, He is in our corner.

So, take that “little light” of yours, and let it shine.

Obama Politicizes Charleston Church Shooting

It’s amazing. I knew that this was coming…just like everyone else did, who has been paying attention.

However, the self-serving, callous nature of a President of the United States of America to be able to politicize a massacre such as this, within hours of the tragic event, is beyond the pale.

Good afternoon, everybody.  This morning, I spoke with, and Vice President Biden spoke with, Mayor Joe Riley and other leaders of Charleston to express our deep sorrow over the senseless murders that took place last night.

Michelle and I know several members of Emanuel AME Church.  We knew their pastor, Reverend Clementa Pinckney, who, along with eight others, gathered in prayer and fellowship and was murdered last night.  And to say our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families, and their community doesn’t say enough to convey the heartache and the sadness and the anger that we feel.

Any death of this sort is a tragedy.  Any shooting involving multiple victims is a tragedy.  There is something particularly heartbreaking about the death happening in a place in which we seek solace and we seek peace, in a place of worship.

Mother Emanuel is, in fact, more than a church.  This is a place of worship that was founded by African Americans seeking liberty.  This is a church that was burned to the ground because its worshipers worked to end slavery.  When there were laws banning all-black church gatherings, they conducted services in secret.  When there was a nonviolent movement to bring our country closer in line with our highest ideals, some of our brightest leaders spoke and led marches from this church’s steps.  This is a sacred place in the history of Charleston and in the history of America.

The FBI is now on the scene with local police, and more of the Bureau’s best are on the way to join them.  The Attorney General has announced plans for the FBI to open a hate crime investigation.  We understand that the suspect is in custody.  And I’ll let the best of law enforcement do its work to make sure that justice is served.

Until the investigation is complete, I’m necessarily constrained in terms of talking about the details of the case.  But I don’t need to be constrained about the emotions that tragedies like this raise.  I’ve had to make statements like this too many times.  Communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times.  We don’t have all the facts, but we do know that, once again, innocent people were killed in part because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun.  Now is the time for mourning and for healing.

But let’s be clear:  At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.  It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency.  And it is in our power to do something about it.  I say that recognizing the politics in this town foreclose a lot of those avenues right now.  But it would be wrong for us not to acknowledge it.  And at some point it’s going to be important for the American people to come to grips with it, and for us to be able to shift how we think about the issue of gun violence collectively.

The fact that this took place in a black church obviously also raises questions about a dark part of our history.  This is not the first time that black churches have been attacked.  And we know that hatred across races and faiths pose a particular threat to our democracy and our ideals.

The good news is I am confident that the outpouring of unity and strength and fellowship and love across Charleston today, from all races, from all faiths, from all places of worship indicates the degree to which those old vestiges of hatred can be overcome.  That, certainly, was Dr. King’s hope just over 50 years ago, after four little girls were killed in a bombing in a black church in Birmingham, Alabama.

He said they lived meaningful lives, and they died nobly.  “They say to each of us,” Dr. King said, “black and white alike, that we must substitute courage for caution.  They say to us that we must be concerned not merely with [about] who murdered them, but about the system, the way of life, the philosophy which produced the murderers.  Their death says to us that we must work passionately and unrelentingly for the realization of the American Dream.

“And if one will hold on, he will discover that God walks with him, and that God is able to lift you from the fatigue of despair to the buoyancy of hope, and transform dark and desolate valleys into sunlit paths of inner peace.”

Reverend Pinckney and his congregation understood that spirit.  Their Christian faith compelled them to reach out not just to members of their congregation, or to members of their own communities, but to all in need.  They opened their doors to strangers who might enter a church in search of healing or redemption.

Mother Emanuel church and its congregation have risen before –- from flames, from an earthquake, from other dark times -– to give hope to generations of Charlestonians.  And with our prayers and our love, and the buoyancy of hope, it will rise again now as a place of peace.

“Advanced countries”, Mr. President? Like…France?

On January 6, 2015, Businessweek.com reported that

France’s Front National leader Marine Le Pen pinned the blame for the killing of 12 people in Paris today on Islamic radicals, as mainstream leaders tried to downplay the religious dimension of the attack.

While President Francois Hollande called for national unity in an attempt to deter the public from demonizing the country’s 5-million strong Muslim community, Le Pen said France has to confront the beliefs of the gunmen who stormed the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo this morning.

“Time’s up for denial and hypocrisy,” Le Pen, who has railed against immigration, said in a video posted on her party’s website today. “The absolute rejection of Islamic fundamentalism must be proclaimed loudly and clearly.”

The lessons voters’ draw from the deadliest attack on French soil since World War II will shape the political debate as the country looks toward the 2017 election.

It is very obvious to every American Citizen that President Barack Hussein Obama, after being thwarted by the American Public, time and again, is still seeking to take away our Constitutional Right to bare arms.

As I wrote earlier, the fact that he is willing to politicize the cold-blood murder of nine innocent Americans, within hours of their demise, should surprise no one.

Unfortunately for Petulant President Pantywaist, the laws in this country are written in Congress. That would be the Senate and the House. The president does not write laws. The president does not make law.

Well, he’s not supposed to.

Judges are not supposed to make laws. Judges are not supposed to create laws. That’s only supposed to happen in Congress. When Congress refuses to vote for a law, then it’s dead.

What is exasperating to the president is the fact that he can’t legally enact the gun laws that he and his minions would prefer.

So, he has spent the last couple of years trying to do it unilaterally with Executive Orders.

Now, I’m not lying to you when I tell you that is not what Executive Orders permit. It’s not why they were created. It’s not what they’re for. Executive Orders do not grant dictatorial power to presidents. They do not grant the power to the president to violate existing law. Executive Orders do not grant the power to the president to write new law. The president and his team will be in violation of the Constitution if they do this. Now, there are certain things that can be done with Executive Orders, but they can’t write new law. But if nobody stops them, what’s the point?

They can get away with it.

There’s always a way to get away with it.

Obama is undaunted in his quest to achieve his Marxist dream of taking away guns from law-abiding citizens through the issuing of Executive Orders.

However, this is not Russia, during the Bolshevik Revolution. This is America, where we have a System of Checks and Balances.

Please continue to remind your Senators and Representatives that they work for you, not vice-versa, and to put all the pressure they can on their Democratic colleagues to  continue to stand up to the president, in his never ending quest to take away our Constitutional Right and turn us into an unarmed citizenry, vulnerable to enemies, foreign and domestic….and political, too.

Since they already seem to be forgetting what happened in November of 2014, it is time to remind them.

If only one member of Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina had been armed…

Obama’s actions, as I have written before, remind me of a spoiled child who, when told “NO!” by his parents, launches into a screeching, whining temper tantrum.

Just like an unruly child, it’s time for Obama to be disciplined…by turning him into a lame duck for the remainder of his presidency.

Obama is not a leader. He is a petulant, pedantic Graduate Assistant, playing at being a tenured professor.

Americans…it’s time to ring the dismissal bell on this class.

CNN Anchor Does Not Apologize For Hateful Rhetoric. She “Misspoke”.

thGGEPSEJOA moment happened on one of the National Cable News Networks recently, that left the majority of Americans shaking our heads in disbelief, as we said to ourselves, about the female news anchor in question,

She said WHAT?

Yesterday afternoon, Mediaite.com reported the following…

As you may have heard, CNN’s Fredricka Whitfield is having a bad 24 hours. But the following column won’t primarily focus on what she said on-air Saturday afternoon that has social media in a frenzy (we’ll touch on it in a moment). Instead, it will analyze how the comments were handled from a PR perspective and damage control by the both anchor and network afterward. 
 
First, the comment itself verbatim as it pertains to the man who opened fire on a Dallas Police headquarters while discussing it with CNN legal analyst Philip Holloway:

“It was very courageous and brave, if not crazy as well, to open fire on the police headquarters, and now you have this scene, this standoff. So you believe these are the hallmarks of more than one person’s involvement.”

Obviously, it’s the whole “very courageous and brave” part that has many folks in a tizzy, accusing CNN of being anti-cop and this being example of how many of its anchors/hosts/commentators/contributors really feel. But when taking a step back and looking at this objectively, it’s obvious Whitfield–not exactly a magnet for controversy during her 13 years at CNN or seen as someone who leans on particular way or the other–chose precisely the wrong words at the wrong time. And if you believe that a 50-year-old anchor would put her career in jeopardy to openly advocate a crazed maniac intent on killing police officers, it might really be time to take the blinders off. Live television can be a perilous business. Even the most seasoned can offer up a poor choice of words (“brazen” would have better applied here without incident). Whitfield’s comments were patently tone-deaf, but not malicious toward the Dallas-Fort Worth PD (which is calling for an apology) or police officers in general.

Of course, Whitfield should have absolutely known better having sat in an anchor chair during situations like this for nearly two decades, having worked for the NBC Nightly News before CNN since 1995. And of course, everyone in the business knows what happened to then-ABC’s Bill Maher when he seemed to praise the 9/11 hijackers for bravery (or whatever “not cowardly” equates to) while calling the U.S. cowardly. Here’s what he said on his show shortly after 9/11:

“We have been the cowards. Lobbing cruise missiles from two thousand miles away. That’s cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building. Say what you want about it. Not cowardly.”
Maher was fired soon thereafter. So should Whitfield be fired as well? Not even close. Suspended? Don’t think so…only because there was no intent here (unlike, say…ex-MSNBCer Martin Bashir, who wrote his recommendation that someone should defecate in Sarah Palin’s mouth beforehand and had it loaded in prompter).

Back to Whitfield, here’s where the real error occurred: not apologizing either during the show after coming back from break (where the executive producer should have demanded it), or on Twitter immediately after the show. By not doing so, the steady drumbeat on social media and online publications have featured the same question: Has Fredricka Whitfield apologized for her (insert derogatory term here) yet? CNN PR had no comment for nearly 24 hours. Whitfield’s Twitter account went silent. Why let this story grow and fester when it so easily could have been snuffed out via apology? Instead, publications from Mediaite (who was first with the story and reached out to CNN for comment at the time) to the Washington Times to ABC to Variety to The Hollywood Reporter all ran stories on the comment.

Whitfield finally did address the issue during her 2:00 PM ET broadcast today. Punishment is likely not forthcoming, nor should it. She deserves some credit for making her statement in the same forum (on her CNN program as opposed to a Twitter-only mea culpa or through a statement off-air), although she stopped short of apologizing for misspeaking… something she should have done at least to the Fort Worth police officers association, who, as mentioned earlier, specifically asked for an apology.

When have Modern American Liberals EVER accepted responsibility for their words and actions?

As I have related before, I was a Radio News Director in college, with a staff of 20 students, who received class credit for producing and performing a 50-minute radio newscast, once a week.

This was back in 1978-1980, and, even then, I could see America’s Newsrooms headed in a Liberal Direction, through their Liberally-slated reporting of the inept President Jimmy Carter.

Now, almost 40 years later, National Anchors are making no pretense about being “objective” anymore.

They wear their subjectivity on their sleeve.

As it was in the case of this “cool chick” on CNN.

Buoyed by her “Dear Leader”, Barack Obama’s never-ending Strategy of gaining power through the use of the Rhetoric of Racial Division and Class Warfare, like a little child who just blurts out what she thinks, because she doesn’t possess an “adult filter, so did this chick “let it all hang out”.

As you no doubt noticed, as even the liberals at Mediaite did, she did not even really apologize for her outrageous comments.

Is it just me, or do you also remember that we are supposed to be living under the first post-racial president?

It sure does not seem that way. Ever since Obama got into office, all I have heard from him is the Rhetoric of Racial Division and Class Warfare.

It reminded me of all the historical conflicts which I used to read about, during the course in college which I took, titled “The Rhetoric of Social “.

Karl Marx knew long ago that all you needed to do to touch the heart of the common man was to convince him of a shared struggle.

Vladimir Lenin took this a step further, by using the concept of a shared struggle to convince the Bolsheviks to help him overthrow the Czar of Russia and murder him and his family during the Russian Revolution.

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but fiery rhetoric spoken by a national leader has consequences.

President Barack Hussein Obama is as responsible for what is happening in Baltimore and elsewhere as any thug wannabe in those cities.

However, he is not alone in his responsibility.

Also responsible are the black political leaders, including the mayors, and “Community Leaders” in those cities, as well as those of the Main Stream Media, who forego their duties as an impartial observer and become a cheerleader. Their silent duplicity speaks volumes.

By the mayor in Baltimore, giving carte blanche to the rioters to destroy, she, like the Roman Emperor Nero, lit the match that has set her kingdom ablaze.

I remember, as a 9 year old in Memphis, Tennessee, watching my parents’ black and white television as the National Guard was called into action on the night that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated.

I remember after that Civil Defense Announcement that President Lyndon Johnson come on national television to make the announcement of Dr. King’s death. I remember a feeling of helplessness and of fear, as a nine-year-old, that I had not felt before.

It wasn’t just the fact that we were living in Midtown Memphis, that made me afraid.

It was the fact of the out-of-control violence itself, that caused my consternation.

And now, all these years later, I have the same feelings tugging at my gut. It’s not because I can’t take care of myself, trust me, I can.

It is because, those leaders, who have sworn to protect American Citizens, up in our nation’s capital and in Baltimore, have skirted that responsibility.

And those, who are supposed to report the facts, seem content to instead, spew Racist, Hateful Propaganda.

God help us.

Obama Wants to Forcibly “Desegregate” Wealthy Neighborhoods Through Socialism…AKA…”Government Grants”.

littlepinkhousesFrom the get-go, President Barack Hussein Obama’s motto has been “Share the Wealth”. Not his, of course, but, ours.

This “Quest for Equality”, i.e., lack of individualism, i.e., forming a collective society, if you will, springs from his love for the teachings of Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky, and his upbringing within an American Communist Family, which led to his association with people who wanted, with all their hearts to “radically change” America…by any means necessary.

Obama wants to limit our freedom…by making our choices for us.

And, by taking away individual achievement.

For example…

The Obama administration is moving forward with regulations designed to help diversify America’s wealthier neighborhoods, drawing fire from critics who decry the proposal as executive overreach in search of an “unrealistic utopia.”

A final Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rule due out this month is aimed at ending decades of deep-rooted segregation around the country.

The regulations would use grant money as an incentive for communities to build affordable housing in more affluent areas while also taking steps to upgrade poorer areas with better schools, parks, libraries, grocery stores and transportation routes as part of a gentrification of those communities.

“HUD is working with communities across the country to fulfill the promise of equal opportunity for all,” a HUD spokeswoman said. “The proposed policy seeks to break down barriers to access to opportunity in communities supported by HUD funds.”

It’s a tough sell for some conservatives. Among them is Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), who argued that the administration “shouldn’t be holding hostage grant monies aimed at community improvement based on its unrealistic utopian ideas of what every community should resemble.”

“American citizens and communities should be free to choose where they would like to live and not be subject to federal neighborhood engineering at the behest of an overreaching federal government,” said Gosar, who is leading an effort in the House to block the regulations.

Civil rights advocates, meanwhile, are praising the plan, arguing that it is needed to break through decades-old barriers that keep poor and minority families trapped in hardscrabble neighborhoods.

“We have a history of putting affordable housing in poor communities,” said Debby Goldberg, vice president at the National Fair Housing Alliance.

HUD says it is obligated to take the action under the Fair Housing Act of 1968, which prohibited direct and intentional housing discrimination, such as a real estate agent not showing a home in a wealthy neighborhood to a black family or a bank not providing a loan based on someone’s race.

The agency is also looking to root out more subtle forms of discrimination that take shape in local government policies that unintentionally harm minority communities, known as “disparate impact.” 

“This rule is not about forcing anyone to live anywhere they don’t want to,” said Margery Turner, senior vice president at the left-leaning Urban Institute. “It’s really about addressing long-standing practices that prevent people from living where they want to.”

“In our country, decades of public policies and institutional practices have built deeply segregated and unequal neighborhoods,” Turner said.

Children growing up in poor communities have less of a chance of succeeding in life, because they face greater exposure to violence and crime, and less access to quality education and health facilities, Turner suggested.

“Segregation is clearly a problem that is blocking upward mobility for children growing up today,” she said.

To qualify for certain funds under the regulations, cities would be required to examine patterns of segregation in neighborhoods and develop plans to address it. Those that don’t could see the funds they use to improve blighted neighborhoods disappear, critics of the rule say.

The regulations would apply to roughly 1,250 local governments.

Hans von Spakovsky, a fellow at the conservative Heritage Foundation, called the Obama administration “too race conscious.”

“It’s a sign that this administration seems to take race into account on everything,” Spakovsky said.

Republicans are trying to block the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule. Before passing HUD’s funding bill this week, the GOP-led House approved Gosar’s amendment prohibiting the agency from following through with the rule.

Though segregationist policies were outlawed long ago, civil rights advocates say housing discrimination persists.

HUD is looking to break down many barriers, but Gosar suggested the regulation would have negative repercussions.

“Instead of living with neighbors you like and choose, this breaks up the core fabric of how we start to look at communities,” Gosar said. “That just brings unease to everyone in that area.”

“People have to feel comfortable where they live,” he added. “If I don’t feel comfortable in my own backyard, where do I feel comfortable?”

Critics of the rule say it would allow HUD to assert authority over local zoning laws. The agency could dictate what types of homes are built where and who can live in those homes, said Gosar, who believes local communities should make those decisions for themselves rather than relying on the federal government.

If enacted, the rule could depress property values as cheaper homes crop up in wealthy neighborhoods and raise taxes, Gosar warned.

It could also tilt the balance of political power as more minorities are funneled into Republican-leaning neighborhoods, he suggested.

The Supreme Court is expected to weigh in on housing discrimination in a related case in the coming weeks. At issue is whether government policies that unintentionally create a disparate impact for minority communities violate federal laws against segregation.

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs is facing accusations that it makes low-income housing funds more readily available in minority neighborhoods than in white neighborhoods. This promotes segregation, critics argue, by encouraging minorities to continue living in poor communities where government assistance is available.

Court observers say the case could have a profound impact on HUD’s rule.

How does that work in cities that are already 90 % minority population, like Detroit or Memphis?

As Charles Barkley pointed out a while back, Racism is not just a one-way street. How do you think that these cities go this way? Not all of their White citizens moved out because they wanted to.

But, I digress.

On a Sunday, in October of 2008, outside of Toledo, Ohio, Democratic Presidential Nominee Obama met a plumber named Joe Wurzelbacher. Joe, who owned his own plumbing company, dared to ask Obama about his proposed tax hikes. In fact, he told Obama that he did not want to pay higher taxes, he was already paying enough. Obama told him,

Now, I respect the disagreement. I just want you to be clear – it’s not that I want to punish your success – I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you – that they’ve got a chance at success too.”

…I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.

Evidently, the “fairness” Obama seeks, includes making everyone’s housing “fair”, too.

No individuality allowed in the Proletariat.
