Something Wicked This Way Comes? Syrian Refugees Tearing Up Europe

thLTI1PZZBDo you remember when Fox News recently reported that

… (Secretary of State John) Kerry said the United States will take in more refugees worldwide in the next two years, including 10,000 Syrian asylum seekers in 2016.

“We will now go up to 85,000 with at least 10,000 over the next year in Syria specifically. And in the next fiscal year we will target 100,000,” Kerry said.

In the fiscal year ending September 2015, the world’s biggest economy took in 70,000 refugees?

Things aren’t going so well, in regards to the Syrian Refugees still arriving in Europe, later to be arriving here.

News.Yahoo.com reports that

Germany’s PEGIDA movement holds an anti-migrant rally Monday a year on from its formation, highlighting a European backlash towards a massive influx that has heaped pressure on Chancellor

The demonstration comes a day after Swiss voters returned a historically strong result for a populist party known for its virulent campaigns against immigrants and Islam, and following a knife attack on a German mayoral candidate who championed refugee issues.

Monday’s rally, due to start at 1600 GMT in PEGIDA’s stronghold of Dresden, marks a contrast to efforts by Merkel who over the weekend made a crucial one-day trip to Turkey, where she hailed progress in helping Ankara deal with the migrant crisis and vowed to push forward its long-stalled EU membership bid.

The European Union wants Turkey to do more to tighten its border security and help contain the historic influx of Syrians and others escaping conflict, persecution and poverty.

In return, Ankara wants greater recognition for its role in hosting more than two million Syrian refugees, an increase in financial help and an acceleration of its stuttering drive for EU membership.

Merkel and the Turkish leadership indicated officials were making progress towards a deal on cooperation, although neither suggested a final agreement had been reached.

She said Berlin was prepared to support opening EU accession talks on economic and monetary affairs, and would also consider opening more of the 35 total so-called “policy chapters”.

– ‘Dynamising accession’ –

Speaking after her talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Merkel said the EU and Turkey were in agreement to work closer “on dynamising the accession process” towards Turkey’s EU membership and also visa liberalisation for Turks wanting to travel to the EU’s Schengen zone.

“The talks in that direction are very promising and will be continued,” said Merkel.

Erdogan, who for months has bitterly criticised the EU’s attitude towards Turkey, also called for more accession chapters to be opened, while Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu praised a “better approach” from the 28-nation bloc.

Germany has been Europe’s top destination for refugees, most of whom travel through Turkey and the Balkans, and is expecting to register up to a million asylum requests this year.

While many Germans have welcomed the refugees, there has also been a backlash with Merkel’s party losing support while the long-dormant anti-Islamic PEGIDA protest movement has again drawn thousands of followers.

Simmering tensions ended in violence in the western city of Cologne on Saturday when a man with a knife attacked independent mayoral candidate Henriette Reker, who is active in helping refugees, leaving her with serious neck wounds and injuring four others.

Reker won Sunday’s election with an absolute majority.

The attacker, a 44-year-old unemployed man arrested at the scene, had “a racist motivation” according to police, and was said to have been close to the extreme right in the 1990s.

Migrants and refugees cross the Slovenian-Austrian border in Sentilj onto Spielfeld on October 18, 2 …
– ‘Migration pressure’ –

In another sign of increasing anti-migrant sentiment in Europe, a Swiss populist party known for its virulent campaigns against immigration, the European Union and Islam won a record number of seats in the Alpine nation’s parliamentary elections on Sunday.

Merkel said that the fact Turkey had accomplished the immense task of looking after more than two million Syrian refugees on relatively little funding had led to “migration pressure” which resulted in the current unprecedented influx of migrants into Europe.

“We will engage ourselves more strongly financially as the European Union. Germany will play its part,” she promised.

More than 630,000 people fleeing war and misery have landed on Europe’s shores so far this year, many making risky sea crossings from Turkey to Greece.

Another 12 people drowned off the Turkish coast on Saturday, and on Sunday the Greek coastguard said five migrants including a baby and two boys had died trying to cross the Aegean Sea.

Separately, 20 Afghan would-be migrants bound for Europe were killed in Iran on Sunday when the mini-bus they were travelling in collided with a truck.

As the influx continued, Hungary closed its border with Croatia, forcing thousands of migrants to find a new route to northern Europe through Slovenia and into Austria.

But with numbers growing, Slovenia on Sunday said it would handle no more than 2,500 arrivals a day to ease pressure on both its own and Austria’s borders.

Meanwhile, in France…

Breitbart.com reports that

A mass intrusion by hundreds of migrants forced Eurotunnel cross-Channel rail services to be suspended in both directions last night after they stormed the terminal and platforms in France. The human tide led the Channel Tunnel operator to halt services from Folkestone, Kent and Coquelles in northern France.Passenger services are experiencing long delays today and the sale of tickets to travellers without reservations has been suspended, The Guardian reports.

A Eurotunnel spokesman said refugees were using diversionary tactics in order to occupy police to allow others to try to cross the Channel in the ensuing confusion. He said:

“They are coming in waves to occupy the police, then another wave comes, then another, until there is no more police. One group is then able to get through.

“Then we have to take over and sweep through the terminal and clear them all from the tracks and the platform.”

Eurotunnel is warning of ongoing delays at Folkestone, with trains operating “with some timetable disruption”. Passengers services from France are operating to schedule but delays can be expected, the Eurotunnel website says.

It emerged at the weekend that the number of migrants living in makeshift camps outside Calais has now reached 6,000.

At least 15 migrants have died in or near the tunnel since the start of the cross-Channel migrant crisis at the beginning of the summer.

One person died overnight on October 15-16 after being hit by a freight train at the Channel Tunnel’s Coquelles terminal. It followed the death on Thursday of a migrant, believed to be Syrian, who was hit by a car on a motorway close to the tunnel.

The increase in migrants attempting to cross the Channel prompted a string of measures to increase security at the terminal, including extra fencing and the deployment of more border force search and dog teams.

Recently, Ben Shapiro, writing for Breitbart News, asked and answered the following question…

Who Are These Refugees? That competition to accept refugees would be fine if we knew that the refugees plan on assimilating into Western notions of civilized society, and if we knew that they were indeed victims of radical Muslim atrocities. Unfortunately, we know neither. It is deeply suspicious that major Muslim countries that do not border Syria refuse to take in large numbers of refugees, except for Algeria and Egypt.

Turkey has taken in nearly two million refugees, according to the United Nations, and keeps the vast majority in refugee camps — a typical practice in a region that has kept Arab refugees from the 1948 war of Israeli independence in Arab-run camps for seven decades. Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq have taken in hundreds of thousands of refugees as well, but all border the chaotic, collapsing Syria, and thus have limited choice in the matter. Iran has taken in no refugees. Neither have Pakistan, Indonesia, or any of the other dozens of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain all refused to take any refugees, and explicitly cited the risk of terrorists among the refugees, according to The Guardian (UK).

These fears are not without merit, as even Obama administration officials have acknowledged: back in February, director of the National Counterterrorism Center Nicholas Rasmussen called Syrian refugees “clearly a population of concern.” FBI Assistant Director Michael Steinbach explained, “Databases don’t [have] the information on those individuals, and that’s the concern. On Tuesday, State Department spokesman John Kirby told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that terrorist infiltration was “a possibility. I mean, you can’t, you can’t dismiss that out of hand.” He then added, “Obviously, if you look at those images though, it’s pretty clear that the great majority of these people are innocent families.”

Actually, images show a disproportionate number of young males in crowds of refugees. And those images reflect statistical reality: according to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, Mediterranean Sea refugees are overwhelmingly male: just 13 percent are women, and just 15 percent are children. The other 72 percent are men. Compare that population to the refugees in the Middle East from the same conflicts: 49.5 percent male, and 50.5 percent female, with 38.5 percent under the age of 12. Those are wildly different populations.

It is also being reported that these “refugees” are leaving a trail of waste, human and otherwise, in their wake.

In other words, these guys believe that hygiene is a girl that they used to “date” back home.

Classy, huh?

It appears that we have a lot to look forward to.

Here’s a Million Drachma Question for ya: Why are the other Middle Eastern Countries not taking them in?

What do they know that we and the Europeans don’t?

I can answer those questions in three little words: “hijrah” and “taqujiyya”.

“Hijrah” refers to the undertaking of a pilgrimage to spread Islam to the World, such as undertaken by Mohammed between Mecca and Medina in 62 A.D., which is referred to as “The Start of the Muslim Era”.

“Taquiyya” is the Muslim Practice of purposeful lying to us “Infidels” in order to further the cause of Islam.

So, in case you are wondering, that, in a nutshell, is why informed Americans do not want 200,000 un-vetted Syrian “Refugees” brought here.

“Gay Marriage” to be Performed on Float in Rose Parade.

gay marriageNew Year’s Day, before all of the great College Football Bowl Games begin, Americans will be gathering in front of their televisions to watch an Annual American Tradition, The Tournament of Roses Parade.

This year, as with everything else, Liberals have decided to turn a parade meant for entertainment, into a political message.

LATimes.com reports that

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s float, “Living the Dream: Love Is the Best Protection,” was created to celebrate victories in 2013 for gay marriage advocates, including Supreme Court decisions upholding the repeal of California’s Proposition 8 and striking down a key part of the Defense of Marriage Act.

Foundation spokesman Ged Kenslea said the organization supports legally sanctioning same-sex marriage because it encourages more stable relationships among gay men as well as behavior that will prevent the spread of HIV.

“We believe that marriage saves lives,” he said.

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses has received complaints from people opposing the wedding. Some took to the organization’s Facebook page to voice their anger.

“I am a 79 year old Los Angeles native and have not missed a parade since I was about 4 years old. I have watched my LAST one due to your decision to allow this unbiblical, gay marriage to take place on one of your floats,” one man wrote.

Others expressed concern about the event not being suited for families that may tune in to watch the annual New Year’s Day celebration. The popular float parade is watched by people around the world.

“2 gay men in a ‘wedding’ ceremony is highly offensive to me and millions of Americans,” one wrote. “I can’t think of many things LESS appropriate for families and especially children. It’s completely the wrong venue for a stunt like this.”

A separate Facebook page has also been started called “Boycott the 2014 Rose Parade,” with more than 1,600 “likes” as of Sunday. A post reads: “Gay ‘marriage’ is still illegal in over 30 states. Why would the Tournament of Roses promote something illegal like that?”

In a statement released to the Los Angeles Times, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses said it is “pleased” to have the foundation participate in this year’s event.

“It is the organization’s third entry in three years tied to their mission of delivering medical services and advocacy in fighting AIDS worldwide,” says the statement.

“Like all of our sponsors and float designers, AHF continues to help make the Rose Parade a premier event through original and creative expressions that connect to parade themes — as this float does.”

Kenslea said he thinks the wedding is the perfect way to honor the parade’s theme of “Dreams Come True,” by showing the dream of lesbians and gay men realized. He said that the couple was chosen from 15 others who wanted the chance to wed on the float.

You would have thought that the Rose Parade Officials would have been paying attention during the A&E/Duck Dynasty Dust-up. Evidently, they didn’t.

Ralph E. Shaffer, a professor emeritus of history at Cal Poly Pomona, disagreed, saying the wedding is an “in your face” act that might make people angrier toward gays. Shaffer, noting there will be several kisses between LeClair and his intended, Aubrey loots, added, “The problem is going to be the wedding kiss … I don’t know what the response is going to be.” he said.

AHF President Michael Weinstein said there was no political statement intended, and protesters should respect “the law of the land”:

There are as many opinions in the world as there are people, but our motivation is to validate the love that exists between same-sex couples and what we believe is the importance of validating these relationships in terms of protecting, particularly gay men from HIV and other STDs. We think the more we promote stable, long-term relationships, the better it will be.

Tournament of Roses officials stated, “Like all of our sponsors and float designers, AHF continues to help make the Rose Parade a premier event through original and creative expressions that connect to parade themes — as this float does.”

Oh, bull. A float sponsored by Kellogg’s featuring animated birdies, made out of rose petals, singing, “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning” is an “original and creative expression”. Two men french kissing in a sham of a sacred ceremony on top of a float in the Rose Parade, while Grandma, Bubba, and little 5 year old Cindy Lou, are watching them on television in Tyler, Texas, is a POLITICAL STATEMENT.

Within the past year, Americans have watched as Activist Judges have overthrown referendums against “Gay Marriage”, which were passed in the overwhelming majority of states by popular vote, in an exercise of the will of the people.

While comparing the plight of homosexuals who wish their sexual preference to be treated as “normal” through the use of the word “marriage” to the horrible abuse which Black Americans suffered in their struggle for Civil Rights, these Activist Judges have set out to change American culture through legislative fiat in the name of “Equality”.

However, just as A&E found out, the American public has their own ideas as to what is morally right and just.

And, by making itself no longer “family viewing” for average Americans out here in the Heartland, Rose Parade Officials are shooting themselves in their own foot, in order to make a POLITICAL STATEMENT.

The War Against Christianity: God Bless You, Please, Mr. Robertson

Phil RobertsonOn this Sabbath day, before we celebrate the birth of the Savior, a country founded by Christians seeking to escape persecution for their religious beliefs, is witnessing and responding to the persecution of a Christian man

Unless you live under a rock, like those guys in the old Geico Commercial, by now you have heard about the suspension of Patriarch Phil Robertson from the cable television mega-hit “Duck Dynasty”, currently seen on the Arts & Entertainment Channel.

The  original report of the story, as detailed by Hollywood Reporter reads this way:

A&E has placed Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson on indefinite hiatus following anti-gay remarks he made in a recent profile in GQ.

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty,” A&E said in a statement. “His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.”

The news comes after Robertson compared homosexuality to bestiality in an interview with the magazine. He’ll likely appear in season four, which bows Jan. 15, since production is largely wrapped.

“It seems like, to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man’s anus,” Robertson says in the January issue of the men’s magazine. “That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

During a discussion about repentance and God, Robertson is asked what he finds sinful.

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,” he says. “Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”

He goes on to paraphrase Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers — they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

GLAAD on Wednesday condemned his remarks as “some of the vilest and most extreme statements uttered against LGBT people in a mainstream publication” and said “his quote was littered with outdated stereotypes and blatant misinformation.”

“Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil’s lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe,” GLAAD spokesperson Wilson Cruz said. “He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans — and Americans — who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil’s decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors, who now need to re-examine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families.”

Since then, Liberals have come to the defense of A & E, while the other 75% of Americans have swarmed their friendly neighborhood Walmarts, buying all the Duck Dynasty Products off the shelf, leaving them bare in their wake, in an unprecedented show of support for Phil Robertson and his family.

Meanwhile, Liberals Pundits have tried their best to attack Phil and the Robertson Clan as a bunch of “Inbred Southern Rednecks”. Of course, they leave out the fact that Phil is a self-made millionaire with a Master’s Degree from Louisiana Tech University. That little bit of information would not fit in with the stereotypical image of Conservative American Christians from the South, which they are attempting to reinforce through their unsubstantiated accusations of bigotry.

The other night, Pastor Rick Warren, author of “The Purpose-Drive Life” and “The Purpose-Driven Church” appeared on the Poster Boy from Liberal Idiots, Piers Morgan’s, Program on CNN. What his limited viewing audience witnessed was a total rebuke of the clueless talk show host, as shown in this transcript, courtesy of eaglerising.com…

MORGAN: You and I, we’ve debated this before about gay rights, gay marriage. Clearly, it’s a movement in America as it is around the world…

WARREN: Right.

MORGAN: … towards to a much more tolerant attitude to this. Have you in the last two years since I last I think debated this particular point with you — have you moved at all now? Are you recognizing that there is this seemingly unstoppable movement?

WARREN: Well, I don’t get to change what God says is right and what God says is wrong. And I think God is real clear that all sex outside of marriage is wrong. But the issue here is the issue of respect. While I may disagree with you on your views on sexuality, it does not give me a right to demean you, to demoralize you, to defame you, to turn you into a demon.

See tolerance, Piers, it used to mean we treat each other with mutual respect even if we have major disagreements. Today, tolerance has been changed to mean, all ideas are equally valid. Well, that’s non sense. OK? All ideas are not equally valid.

I mean, you could say the moon is made of cheese or I could say the moon is made of beans and so many ask me it mean wrong.

RickandPiersMORGAN: But do you believe in equality for all as your heart right? This is where I think I took issue with you before and I will again — how can you really as a Christian man…

WARREN: Yes.

MORGAN: … a great man — how can you espouse genuine equality…

WARREN: Yes.

MORGAN: … if you don’t allow gay people the same rights to get married…

WARREN: Yes.

MORGAN: … as straight people? That’s a question that many I think would love to hear the answer.

WARREN: I’d like to reposition it this way. I’m more against the redefinition of the term marriage than anything else. I don’t think other groups get an opportunity to redefine a term. For instance, if a Muslim says this is a term we use and also I’ll take that term and mean it for me. What? That’s not right.

And I think, historically around the world, the vast majority of people would say, “Marriage means one man and one woman in a commitment.” Don’t take a term and make it something different.

Well, we’ll talk about double speak where words mean the exact opposite of what they use to mean. I’m going — OK. In first place, it’s not against the law for you to love anybody, a man or a woman OK? It’s not criminal — at least shouldn’t be but when you start taking a term, then why are taking that term?

MORGAN: Do you think you’ll change? I mean, can you see — you’re a man on a — he has this incredible library, Rick Warren — literally, one of the great libraries I’ve ever seen in my life, kept beautifully. You have all these books by all these great scholars.

Many, many of them would have evolved their thought processes over things depending on how they see if the — can you see a time, when not just you but other Christian preachers…

… and indeed the Catholic church and others say, “You know, what actually real equality means everyone has the same right to get married — gay or right.”

WARREN: I cannot see that happening in my life. I fear the disapproval of God more than I fear your disapproval or the disapproval of society. And so, I can’t change what I think God has said. Now, I believe in the infallibility of Scripture. I do not believe in the infallibility of my interpretations. So, interpretations can be wrong — we know that that as true but I believe that what Scripture says is that sex is for a man and a woman in marriage

Americans my age and, perhaps younger, recognize that the title of today’s blog is a take-off from a mega-hit in the 1960s by Simon & Garfunkel. The song, “Mrs. Robinson” from the hit movie “the Graduate” was a not-so-gentle poke at America’s middle class “hang-ups” concerning the Birth Control Pill and the Sexual Revolution.

Just as that song was written by Paul Simon, a Liberal, to poke fun at average Conservative Americans, so was Duck Dynasty created by A&E, to poke fun at  the Robertsons, whom the Liberals who run that network viewed as “The Beverly Hillbillies” of our time…i.e., a bunch of Inbred Southerners who, like Jed Clampett,  just stumbled upon their wealth.

Soon after Duck Dynasty became a hit,  A&E found out that not only were the Robertsons’ steadfast and unyielding in the exercise of their Christian Faith, but they were also loved by Americans, who laughed with them, instead of at them. It was then that A&E realized that they had a problem…the joke was on them.

So, they started to try to figure out how to get out of their contract.

While the GQ Interview was taking place, you had better believe that a representative from A&E was there. A& E knew about this interview when it happened. This was a set-up.

But, what man meant for evil, God has, once again, turned into something good. There has been a overwhelming groundswell of support for Commander Phil and his family and a backlash against A&E, GLADD, and their Liberal Supporters.

The next target of this backlash will be the Cracker Barrel Restaurant Chain, which has taken Duck Dynasty Merchandise out of their Company Stores. Unfortunately for Cracker Barrel, the majority of their clients are average Christian Americans, living in the Heartland, who believe as Phil Robertson does.

Therefore, Cracker Barrel has just done great damage to their revenue stream. Not a very smart business move.

All of the paid and unpaid Liberal Pundits, who believe that they are Biblical Scholars, and have attempted to debunk what Commander Phil said, should not be surprised at this huge backlash by the American people.

If they had actually read the Bible, they would have found the following words of warning in Isaiah 54:17 (KJV):

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,

And every tongue which rises against you in judgment

You shall condemn.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,

And their righteousness is from Me,”

Says the Lord.

The A&E Executives, GLAAD, and the misguided Liberal Pundits never stood a chance in this battle.

Commander Phil Robertson takes his orders from a Higher Authority.

Until He Comes,
