Obama Bombs North Vietnam…Err…Iraq

Remember back in 2011, when the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) announced that he was following the timetable laid out by President George W. Bush and His Administration years ago, and was withdrawing American Troops from the country of Iraq?

…This December will be a time to reflect on all that we’ve been though in this war. I’ll join the American people in paying tribute to the more than 1 million Americans who have served in Iraq. We’ll honor our many wounded warriors and the nearly 4,500 American patriots — and their Iraqi and coalition partners — who gave their lives to this effort.

And finally, I would note that the end of war in Iraq reflects a larger transition. The tide of war is receding. The drawdown in Iraq allowed us to refocus our fight against al Qaeda and achieve major victories against its leadership — including Osama bin Laden. Now, even as we remove our last troops from Iraq, we’re beginning to bring our troops home from Afghanistan, where we’ve begun a transition to Afghan security and leadership. When I took office, roughly 180,000 troops were deployed in both these wars. And by the end of this year that number will be cut in half, and make no mistake: It will continue to go down.

Meanwhile, yesterday marked the definitive end of the Qaddafi regime in Libya. And there, too, our military played a critical role in shaping a situation on the ground in which the Libyan people can build their own future. Today, NATO is working to bring this successful mission to a close.

So to sum up, the United States is moving forward from a position of strength. The long war in Iraq will come to an end by the end of this year. The transition in Afghanistan is moving forward, and our troops are finally coming home. As they do, fewer deployments and more time training will help keep our military the very best in the world. And as we welcome home our newest veterans, we’ll never stop working to give them and their families the care, the benefits and the opportunities that they have earned.

This includes enlisting our veterans in the greatest challenge that we now face as a nation — creating opportunity and jobs in this country. Because after a decade of war, the nation that we need to build — and the nation that we will build — is our own; an America that sees its economic strength restored just as we’ve restored our leadership around the globe.

That was then. This is now.

Early on Thursday evening, The New York Times reported that

Airstrikes on towns in northern Iraq seized by Islamist militants began late Thursday in what Kurdish and Iraqi officials called the first stage of an American-led intervention to blunt the militants’ advance and provide emergency aid to tens of thousands of refugees.

Kurdish and Iraqi officials attributed the bombing campaign to American forces. But the Pentagon firmly denied that American forces had begun a bombing campaign. Pentagon officials said it was possible that allies of the United States, either the Iraqi or Turkish militaries, had conducted the bombing.

A Turkish official said the country’s air force had not conducted any operations. The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Turkey had been helping the Kurdish regional government in northern Iraq with humanitarian supplies. “There is no such thing,” he said, referring to airstrikes.

Early Friday in Ankara, the Turkish capital, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the country’s top national security officials to discuss the situation.

An announcement on Kurdish television of what was described as an American intervention prompted street celebrations and horn-honking by residents of towns under siege by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Anwar Haji Osman, deputy minister of the pesh merga, the Kurdish military force, said in the televised statement that his forces had been in contact with the Americans and that the bombings had been carried out by fighter jets.

Kurdish officials said the bombings had initially targeted ISIS fighters who had seized two towns, Gwer and Mahmour, near the main Kurdish city of Erbil. A top Iraqi official in Baghdad close to Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki said that the Americans had consulted with the Iraqi government Thursday night about starting the campaign, the government had agreed and the bombing had begun.

Administration aides said on Thursday afternoon that Mr. Obama was considering airstrikes or airdrops of food and medicine to address a humanitarian crisis among as many as 40,000 members of religious minorities in Iraq, who have been dying of heat and thirst on a mountaintop where they took shelter after death threats from ISIS fighters.

In meetings with his national security team at the White House on Thursday morning, Mr. Obama weighed a series of options, ranging from dropping humanitarian supplies on Mount Sinjar to mounting military strikes on the fighters from ISIS who are now at the base of the mountain, a senior administration official said.

“There could be a humanitarian catastrophe there,” a second administration official said, adding that a decision from Mr. Obama was expected “imminently — this could be a fast-moving train.”

The Washington Free Beacon reported later last night that

President Obama announced he had ordered targeted airstrikes against the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) Thursday night, should they continue to advance toward the Iraqi city of Erbil.

“I said in June as the terrorist group ISIL began an advance across Iraq that the United States would be prepared to take targeted military action in Iraq if and when we determined that the situation required it,” Obama said. “In recent days, these terrorists have continued to move across Iraq and have neared the city of Erbil, where American diplomats serve at our consulate and American military personnel advise Iraqi forces. To stop the advance on Erbil, I have directed our military to take targeted strikes against ISIL terrorist convoys should they move toward the city. We intend to stay vigilant and take action if these terrorist forces threaten our personnel or facilities anywhere in Iraq, including our consulate and embassy in Baghdad.”

Obama said he would not be “dragged into fighting another war in Iraq,” saying combat troops would not return to the country since no American military solution existed for Iraq’s larger problems. He has been sharply criticized for the deteriorating situation and essential partitioning of Iraq since pulling troops out. The city of Fallujah, site of one of the bloodiest battles of the Iraq War for American troops, fell in January, and since then the entire nation has fallen into chaos as ISIL continues to seize key cities and facilities.

Obama also said Thursday he had ordered humanitarian assistance to the minority Iraqis stranded and dying of thirst on Mount Sinjar, who are facing threat of extermination by ISIL if they try to leave.

So, in 2014, with the American Embassy in Libya abandoned, due to the threat of occupation by Radical Muslims and now, with Obama ordering air strikes over Iraq, I say to myself, “Self, who could have predicted such an unrest and turmoil”?

“Self raises hand.”

Back on June 20, 2014, in a post titled “Will Iraq Be Obama’s Vietnam?”, I wrote the following summary…

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Obama got us out alright, blindly following a proposed schedule which President Bush had created years before, not taking into account the actual situation “on the ground”, “in country”.

As we found out in Vietnam, wars are best prosecuted in the Theater of War by our Military Leaders, NOT IN WASHINGTON, D.C. BY CLUELESS POLITICIANS.

Liberals like the President, trumpet their horns as “the smartest people in the room” over and over again, only to find out, the hard way, that they overestimated their own intelligence.

Remember “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor?”

If this escalates into another Vietnam, we will pay for his vanity with American lives…and that cost will be way too high.

“The best laid plans of mice and men oft-times go awry.”

Especially premature evacuations.

Now, six weeks later, we’re bombing Iraq.

The Israel-Hamas War: Hamas Met With Democratic Presidential Candidate Obama in 2008

Last week, informed Americans watched in amazement, and then amusement, as Secretary of State John F. Kerry attempted to broker a deal between the nation of Israel and the successor to the Palestinian Liberation Organization, the cowardly Radical Muslims known as Hamas.

As informed Americans also know, Israel was formed in 1948, and has been a staunch ally and supporter of our country since their founding.

So, just who and what is Hamas, the latest darling of American Liberals, “The Smartest People in the Room”?

HAMAS (an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawamat al-Islamiyya, which is Arabic for “Islamic Resistance Movement”) is an Islamic fundamentalist group founded on December 14, 1987 by Ahmed Yassin and Abdel Aziz Rantisi, members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Indeed, Hamas describes itself as “one of the wings of the Muslim Brother[hood].” As a single Arabic word rather than an acronym, “Hamas” means “zeal.” The organization’s avowed purpose is “liberating Palestine” from its Jewish “oppressors,” whose very presence in the Middle East Hamas considers an affront to Muslims’ rightful sovereignty over the region. Hamas is best known for using violent methods — including suicide bombings against Israeli military and civilian targets — as part of its long-term strategy to destroy Israel and replace it with an Islamic Palestinian state. The U.S. State Department, Canada, Japan, Israel, and the entire European Union have named Hamas as an Islamic terrorist organization.

With tens of thousands of loyal supporters, Hamas’ strength is concentrated principally in the Gaza Strip and a few areas of the West Bank. The group’s leadership is dispersed throughout these same areas, with a few senior leaders residing also in Syria, Lebanon, and the Gulf States.

Over the years, Hamas’ funding has derived from a variety of sources. Today it is supported primarily by donations from Iran, Arab governments such as that of Syria, Palestinian expatriates, private benefactors in Arab nations, Islamic fascist groups, and Muslim “charities” from around the world such as the now-defunct Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. (It is estimated that the “charities” account for about half of all Hamas funding today.) Some clandestine fundraising takes place in Western Europe and North America as well. When the United Nations Oil-For-Food program was in effect, Iraqi president Saddam Hussein skimmed more than $21 billion from its coffers and sent some of it directly to Hamas.

Describing Hamas’ political and social agendas, Israel scholar Steven Plaut writes: “Hamas and al-Qaeda are basically two sides of the same jihad. They have squabbled rhetorically on occasion … but … Hamas ‘schools’ and other institutions routinely distribute the harangues of [Osama] bin-Laden and other al-Qaeda materials. Hamas rallies feature posters of bin Laden and of Chechen terror leaders.” Dr. Harold Brackman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center elaborates:

“Hamas has held secret summits with Al Qaeda operatives in locales as distant as India, and even sent a select few members to train in bin Laden’s Afghan camps. For what it’s worth, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas claimed in 2007 that: ‘It is Hamas that is shielding Al Qaeda, and through its bloody conduct, Hamas has become very close to Al Qaeda [in Gaza].'”

Hamas also has a close working relationship with Hezbollah, the Lebanon-based terror organization that serves as one of Hamas’ major suppliers of weaponry.

The Hamas Charter, written in 1987, puts forth “The Slogan of the Hamas,” which closely resembles the Muslim Brotherhood’s credo and reads as follows: “Allah is its goal, the Prophet its model, the Qur’an its Constitution, Jihad its path, and death for the case of Allah its most sublime belief.” In addition, the Hamas Charter:

says that jihad, or holy war, “becomes an individual duty binding on every Muslim man and woman”explicitly abjures negotiated settlements as mechanisms for peaceful coexistence: “There is no other solution for the Palestinian problem other than jihad. All the initiatives and international conferences are a waste of time and a futile game.”
mandates that jihad be directed explicitly against the reviled Jews: “The Nazism of the Jews does not skip women and children, it scares everyone. They make war against people’s livelihood, plunder their moneys and threaten their honor.”
calls for the fulfillment of the Qur’anic scripture which reads: “The prophet [Mohammad] said: The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!”

One of the perks of having written over 1,600 blogs, is that , sometime over the last 4 years, chances are I have gathered some pertinent background information on the subject I am writing today’s Blog on. This time, I hit the jackpot.

Hamas held a meeting in the Gaza Strip several months ago with aides to President-elect Barack Obama, but the terror group was asked to keep the contacts secret until after last week’s elections, according to a senior Hamas official.

Ahmed Yousef, Hamas’ chief political adviser in Gaza, told the leading Al-Hayat Arabic-language newspaper Hamas has maintained regular communication with Obama aides that even continued during the past week.

“We were in contact with a number of Obama’s aides through the Internet, and later met with some of them in Gaza, but they advised us not to come out with any statements, as they may have a negative effect on his election campaign and be used by Republican candidate John McCain (to attack Obama),” Yousuf told Al-Hayat.

Yousuf said Hamas’ contact with Obama’s advisers was ongoing, adding that relations were maintained after Obama’s electoral victory last Tuesday.

Then, on 6/25/10, ynet news.com reported:

A senior Hamas figure said Friday that official and unofficial US sources have asked the Islamist group to refrain from making any statements regarding contacts with Washington, this following reports that a senior American official is due to arrive in an Arab country in the coming days to relay a telegram from the Obama Administration.

The Hamas figure told the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper that the Americans fear discussing the talks publicly would “rouse the Jewish lobby and other pressure groups in the US and cause them to pressure the administration to suspend all talks with Hamas.”

The Hamas figure, who is close to Ismail Haniyeh, the prime minister of the government in Gaza, added, “This is a sensitive subject. The Americans don’t want anyone to comment on it because this would catch the attention of pressure groups (in the US) and cause problems.”

He said Hamas’ exiled leadership in Damascus is overseeing the contacts behind closed doors.

Back to the Present…

Last Sunday, July 28th, President Obama called for a ceasefire that, per his words, immediately “addresses Gaza’s long-term development and economic needs” via trade deals with outside countries, while postponing Hamas’ disarmament into the vague future, according to a statement put out by the White House.

Well, the cease-fire happened. And, true to form, the Muslim Barbarians broke it.

Following the quick collapse of the cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu let the White House know not to try to force a truce with Hamas on Israel, ever again.

According to sources in-the-know, during the dialogue between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, the Israeli leader told the Obama administration “not to ever second guess me again” on the matter. These sources also said Netanyahu said he should be “trusted” on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.

In other words, Bibi told Obama and Kerry that they were clueless.

Looking at the recent polls, the overwhelming majority of Americans agree with him.

The War Against Christianity: Obama’s IRS to Investigate Churches For the “Wrong Kind” of Political Speech

This week, the bitter members of the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) and the Internal Revenue Service reached an pact with the Devil, errr…”settlement” regarding “limiting” the First Amendment Rights of American Churches.

Christianpost.com reports that

The Internal Revenue Service has reached a lawsuit settlement agreement with the Freedom From Religion Foundation, agreeing to investigate churches that violate a federal law that activist groups often cite in an attempt to silence them by threatening their tax-exempt status.

“This is a victory, and we’re pleased with this development in which the IRS has proved to our satisfaction that it now has in place a protocol to enforce its own anti-electioneering provisions,” FFRF Co-President Annie Laurie Gaylor said in a statement last week, following which the Alliance Defending Freedom asked the IRS to release all documents related to it.

The lawsuit, Freedom From Religion Foundation v. Koskinen, accused the IRS of failing to investigate churches the way the atheist group would like. Despite the agreement, only a court has the jurisdiction to close down the case.

Gaylor added: “Of course, we have the complication of a moratorium currently in place on any IRS investigations of any tax-exempt entities, church or otherwise, due to the congressional probe of the IRS. FFRF could refile the suit if anti-electioneering provisions are not enforced in the future against rogue political churches.”

The FFRF release says the ADF annual “Pulpit Freedom Sunday” event promotes violation of the Johnson Amendment, which authorizes the IRS to regulate sermons and requires churches to give up their constitutionally protected freedom of speech in order to retain their tax-exempt status.

The ADF called the IRS-FFRF agreement yet another act of secrecy by the tax agency.

“Secrecy breeds mistrust, and the IRS should know this in light of its recent scandals involving the investigation of conservative groups,” ADF Litigation Counsel Christiana Holcomb said in a statement. “We are asking the IRS to disclose the new protocols and procedures it apparently adopted for determining whether to investigate churches. What it intends to do to churches must be brought into the light of day.”

Last year, the IRS admitted to targeting Tea Party and other conservative organizations for tax-exempt status violations. Lois G. Lerner, former director of the Exempt Organizations Division of the IRS, told reporters that several organizations carrying the words “tea party” or “patriot” in their exemption applications were singled out by IRS agents for additional reviews between 2010 and 2012.

The IRS claims it is temporarily withholding investigations of all tax-exempt entities because of congressional scrutiny of its scandals, but the ADF says no one knows when it will decide to restart investigations based on any new or modified rules that it develops.

“The IRS cannot force churches to give up their precious constitutionally protected freedoms to receive a tax exemption,” said ADF Senior Legal Counsel Erik Stanley, who heads the Pulpit Freedom Sunday event. “No one would suggest a pastor give up his church’s tax-exempt status if he wants to keep his constitutional protection against illegal search and seizure or cruel and unusual punishment. Likewise, no one should be asking him to do the same to be able to keep his constitutionally protected freedom of speech.”

So, just what is the Freedom From Religion Foundation?

According to David Horowitz’s discoverthenetworks.org:

Founded in 1978, the nonprofit, tax-exempt Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) consists of more than 13,000 members and calls itself “the largest association of freethinkers (atheists and agnostics) in the United States.” Its mission is “to promote free thought and to keep state and church separate.”

According to FFRF, religion invariably has been a negative force in human societies. “The history of Western civilization shows us that most social and moral progress has been brought about by persons free from religion,” the organization says. “… In modern times, the first to speak out for prison reform, for humane treatment of the mentally ill, for abolition of capital punishment, for women’s right to vote, for death with dignity for the terminally ill, and for the right to choose contraception, sterilization and abortion have been freethinkers [i.e., atheists and agnostics], just as they were the first to call for an end to slavery.”

FFRF promotes its message through a variety of vehicles, including a weekly national radio program; a newspaper titled Freethought Today; a “freethought billboard campaign”; scholarships “for freethinking students”; high-school and college “freethought essay competitions” with cash awards; annual national conventions honoring a “Freethinker of the Year” for state/church activism; and the sale of educational products, bumper-stickers, music CDs, winter solstice greeting cards, and books promoting “freethought.” The Foundation also provides speakers for events and debates on subjects related to religion, and has established a “freethought book collection” at the University of Wisconsin Memorial Library.

Most significantly, FFRF initiates lawsuits that center around issues involving religion in the public square. As of mid-2009, the Foundation had filed nearly 30 First Amendment lawsuits over the course of its history. It also “keeps several Establishment law challenges in the courts at all times.”

FFRF’s very first lawsuit, filed in the late 1970s, successfully challenged the use of a religious cancellation by the Post Office of Madison, Wisconsin. That decision set national precedent.

The Foundation is led by its co-presidents, Dan Barker and his wife, Annie Laurie Gaylor. Barker was a Christian preacher for 19 years before renouncing his faith in 1984. Gaylor, who earned a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980, co-founded FFRC with her mother and the late John Sontarck in 1978. She is author of the books Woe to the Women: The Bible Tells Me So (1981), and Betrayal of Trust: Clergy Abuse of Children (1988). She also edited the 1997 anthology Women Without Superstition: No Gods, No Masters. Today she edits FFRF’s newspaper, Freethought Today, which is published ten times annually.

Per gallup.com, 92% of Americans believe in God and 76 % of Americans proclaim their Christianity. Therefore, it stands to reason that only 8% of Americans are Atheists.

This little organization out of Wisconsin, the FFRF, has made money from suing 57 American high schools and other entities for daring to exercise their Christian Faith in public. I would like to know, because I’ve researched, and the actual amount is nowhere to be seen, how much these bitter snobs have made off of their endeavors. They are not as noble as they claim.

“Rogue” churches? What in the name of all that’s Holy does that mean?

I’ll tell you what it means, brothers and sisters. It means that we are living under, as I have written before, a “New Fascism.”.

As long as your place of worship “knows its role and shuts their mouth” (as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson used to say), concerning immoral, unethical, anti-Christian policies of the Obama Administration, you will be allowed to keep your tax exempt status.

No politics, except “the right kind”, will be allowed.

In other words, to use my hometown as an example, Democratic Representative Steve “I inhaled” Cohen, can go speak on Sunday in any Black Congregation in Memphis, but if Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas comes in town and speaks at Bellevue Baptist Church, they will be investigated by Obama’s Scandal-Ridden Storm Troopers from the Internal Revenue Service.

Are we still in America?

After Lenin and the Bolsheviks took over Mother Russia, Russian Orthodoxy, the predominant faith in Russia, was persecuted almost to extinction within 20 years. The Communists slaughtered hundreds of thousands of priests, sisters, and brothers.

Between 1917 and 1937, more than 50 million people were murdered by KGB extermination squads or in death camps, and 8 million people died of starvation in man-made famines designed to consolidate Communist power. All land was confiscated by the state.

Those who were left alive were allowed to live under Communist totalitarian control to help rally the people to fight the Nazi German invasion in 1939.

The Commies let some churches stay open if they were licensed by the Communist government. Of course,they were very limited in what they could do: they could celebrate liturgies and the sacraments, but they could not teach Russian Orthodoxy to children or to adults.

The Orthodox Church became just another a highly regulated arm of the Soviet government, and all newly ordained priests and bishops became agents or cooperators of the Secret Police (KGB). The sacraments of baptism and marriage, as well as funerals, were usually performed only after substantial fees were paid.

In all levels of the Soviet School System, Students were forced to learn and believe atheism as scientific truth. This belief system was reinforced in all youth organizations, as well.

There were no private Christian schools or clubs.

The fear of persecution and government reprisal during the period in which Joe Stalin ruled Russia (1927-52) made parents afraid to tell their children about the Triune God.

It only took two generations for Russia to become an atheistic society.

Freedom of religion finally came back to Russia in 1991. However, by then, less than 25% of the population were Christians.

As it stands today in the former Soviet Union, less than 0.50% (one-half of one percent) practice any faith at all.

Are we headed in that direction?

I mean, look at the brazenness of The Obama Administration. Never in my wildest dreams, could I imagine an agency of OUR government, telling the Pastor of a Church what they can speak about!

My Lord.

Did any of us ever think that this would happen in a land founded by Christian men and women?

The U. S. House Judiciary Committee wrote the following in 1854,

Had the people, during the Revolution, had a suspicion of any attempt to war against Christianity, that Revolution would have been strangled in its cradle… In this age, there can be no substitute for Christianity… That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants.

When you tell a Liberal that the Founders of our country were Christians, they always bring up Thomas Jefferson, claiming he was a Deist…or something.

Here is what Jefferson had to say about it:

The doctrines of Jesus are simple, and tend all to the happiness of man.

The practice of morality being necessary for the well being of society, He [God] has taken care to impress its precepts so indelibly on our hearts that they shall not be effaced by the subtleties of our brain. We all agree in the obligation of the moral principles of Jesus and nowhere will they be found delivered in greater purity than in His discourses.65

I am a Christian in the only sense in which He wished anyone to be: sincerely attached to His doctrines in preference to all others.

I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

Jefferson, while President, allowed church services to be held on Sunday mornings in the Capitol Building, which he attended. The practice continued until 1848.

So, what can we do about this encroaching darkness, brokered by an administration who is seeking to turn us into a Marxist nation, with limited personal freedoms, dictated by the State?

President Ronald Reagan said,

I believe with all my heart that standing up for America means standing up for the God who has so blessed our land. We need God’s help to guide our nation through stormy seas. But we can’t expect Him to protect America in a crisis if we just leave Him over on the shelf in our day-to-day living.

One of those whom Obama’s IRS has attacked in the past, Rev. Billy Graham, once remarked,

Prayer is simply a two-way conversation between you and God.

My fellow Americans, it is high time we started a National Conversation with Our Creator.

This past Thursday, at a Town Hall Meetin filled to the brim with handpicked audience members, the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, in the face of his domestic and foreign policies failing and his presidential approval polls sinking more rapidly than the Titanic, decided to forgo the lofty rhetoric, which he usually delivers with the help of his trusty teleprompter, and revert back to the language of the streets. The language that he used during his job as a community organizer.

The President of the United States of America complained to his sycophants in attendance at the Town Hall Meeting that everybody was hatin’ on him.

Evidently, the present President of the United States of America has forgotten exactly how his predecessor, George W Bush, was treated by the opposition party and by the Main Stream Media, who have covered for Obama throughout his Presidency

Obama has been pampered and protected by the Main Stream Media for these past five and one-half years. Not only that, he has had the Puppet Master, Billionaire George Soros, protecting him and running interference for him, as well as promoting his Adminustration’s propaganda on all of the Liberal Websites, such as mediamatters.org, which he funds.

Bush was vilified from the moment he took office, until he left. The only time that the Main Stream Media gave George W Bush any sort of break was on that horrible day of September 11th 2001, when 3,000 Americans were murdered by cowardly Muslim Terrorists. That cease-fire lasted around 24 hours.

During Bush’s presidency, there were pictures portraying him as a chimpanzee. Not only that, Comedy Central aired an animated series making fun of a sitting President, titled “Little Bush”.

What do you think the odds are of them running a series titled “Little Obama”?

Don’t hold your breath waiting for that one.

In fact, in my lifetime, since 1958, Obama is probably the least picked-on president we have ever had.

Even before he was elected President, after he gave the Keynote Speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, he was lauded and praised as the next big thing, a wunderkind who could do no wrong.

Then, after Obama won the nomination as the Democrats’ Presidential Candidate, the idol worship progressed from praises to idolatry. The Main Stream Media placed Obama on a pedestal as high as Mount Olympus, bestowing godlike properties upon him, a position which they hold him in to this day.

Hatin’? Are you kiddin’ me?

President Obama has hate confused with opposition.

While those who of us who oppose him, professional politicians political pundits and average Americans like you and me, do not like his policies and are vocally upset with his leadership or lack thereof, 99.9% of us do not wish him any bodily harm.

If he was to pull a “180” and actually start to act like an American President, much of the opposition, which he calls “hate”, would go away.

Of course, there’s about as much chance of that happening, as there is of America – hating Russell Brand actually being funny one day.

Mr. President. you can’t expect average Americans to sit still and take it, when it is obvious that you want to “radically change” this nation into a Socialist Country, governed by a huge central government which controls every part of our daily lives, to the point where everyone is the same and American exceptionalism is neither encouraged nor rewarded.

If opposition to governmental tyranny is “hatin'”, then I’m a “Hater”… and so were our Founding Fathers.

The Illegal Alien Invasion Continues. Congress Chases Its Tail.

As the influx of illegal aliens from Latin America continues unabated and the Republican-led House of Representatives fights among itself, the rank and file of the Grand Old Party are making their feelings, concerning “The Little Rascals”, very clear.

Breitbartnews.com reports that

Polling data compiled by Tea Party Patriots and provided exclusively to Breitbart News shows that a majority of Republican voters think Republicans standing strong on immigration is more important than repealing Obamacare, getting to the bottom of the Benghazi or IRS scandals—or anything else for that matter.

When asked by TPP’s pollster which issue they think is the important for Republicans in Congress to deal with, 34.6 percent of GOP voters said stopping the flow of illegal immigrants across our southern border. Stopping Obama’s “illegal overreach” with executive power came in a distant second with 24 percent of GOP voters saying that’s the most important, while 23 percent saying repealing Obamacare is the most important and just 7.2 percent say the IRS scandal is the most important issue and 2.8 percent say the Benghazi scandal is most important. A total of 8.4 percent of GOP voters said they don’t know or refused to answer.

The poll was conduced with 1,000 likely GOP voters on Thursday, July 24 via a combination of cell phones and landlines nationwide, with a margin of error of 3.2 percent.

When the GOP voters were asked why the illegal aliens are coming into America, 78.8 percent said they are coming because “they have been led to believe that they will be allowed to remain here legally” while just 13.6 percent said they are coming because they want to “flee violence in their home countries” and 7.6 percent said they don’t know.

Also interesting in the poll, 48.6 percent of GOP voters think Republican leaders in Congress should listen to their constituents primarily, 17.9 percent think they should to listen to their conscience, 12.7 percent think they should listen to low dollar donors, 7.1 percent to the Republican platform and 2.8 percent to their families. Just 2.5 percent of GOP voters think Republican leaders should entertain ideas from high-dollar donors.

Why have average Americans reacted this way? Simple. Regardless of what “the Smartest People in the Room” would have you believe, this is not a “humanitarian situation”.

Ever since June 2nd, when Obama and his Administration started calling this present Illegal Immigrant Invasion “a Humanitarian Issue”, every Liberal on the Internet has droned on incessantly, claiming “compassion” as the reason that Republicans should hop on the bandwagon and support this flood of lawbreakers coming across our Southern Border.

Most Republicans, including the backbone of the Party, the Conservative Base, figured out from the get-go that this is an invasion of our Sovereign Nation, encouraged by an American President and the Democrat Party for strictly political purposes.

The Democrats’ only hope to retain their Voter Base is to create, politically, their own”private army” of Democrat voters, composed of, as Mitt Romney called them, “the 47%” of Americans dependent on Uncle Sugar and these new illegal aliens, whom Obama has been whisking off, via governmental transport, to be dispersed throughout the country, where, within a couple of years, they will be old enough to vote.

By ginning up the dependent base already here…and growing…due to this new influx of illegals…to push Congress to support Obama in passing Amnesty, Obama is creating his own “Revolutionary Army”, to fulfill his promise of “rapidly changing” America as we know it.

What Obama and the Pro-Amnesty Supporters in Washington, the Main Stream Media, and throughout the country fail to realize, is that you can’t buy loyalty to a nation.

The British found that out with their hired German Mercenaries, the Hessians, during the Revolutionary War.

In their self-absorbed Political Greed, America’s professional politicians are setting the stage for the possible fall of our nation.

Legal Immigrants earned their citizenship. They showed that they were willing to become a part of the Great American Melting Pot (from the Schoolhouse Rock video of the same name).

They demonstrated that, as the US Citizen and Immigration services states, that they were willing to

Support the Constitution;
Renounce and abjure absolutely and entirely all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which the applicant was before a subject or citizen;
Support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
Bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and
A. Bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; or
B. Perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; or
C. Perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law.

Additionally, these legal immigrants also took the following oath:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

Illegal Immigrants do not respect the laws of our land, to begin with. Why would that change, if they were given the rights of citizenship?

Obama is right. Being an American is not a matter of birthplace. And, he ought to know. (I kid. I kid.)

It’s a matter of loyalty.

My 1,600th Blog: Making Sense of a “Ball of Confusion”

As I sit down to write today, the world all around us continues to unravel. Israel and the Muslim Terrorist Organization, Hamas, are engaged in a bloody conflict. Russian is in the process of annexing all of the Eastern European countries it lost during the dissolution of the old Soviet Union. Europe is being invaded by Muslim Immigrants, seeking to establish Sharia Law in their “new homes”.

Meanwhile, here in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, the petulant prevaricator, who won the last two elections by promising FREE STUFF to the 47% of Americans dependent on Uncle Sugar for their very existence, is well into “radically changing” “the Shining City Upon a Hill” into a Third World Barrio.

In 1970, the world, including our Sovereign Nation, was also in turmoil, as one generation clashed with another over social mores and the “antiquated concepts” of Right and Wrong.

Out of that tumultuous time, came a lot of great songs chronicling what was happening, none better than the classic song ” Ball of Confusion”, performed by the mighty, mighty Temptations.

Taking keyboard in hand, I channeled my inner “David Ruffin” and penned some new lyrics for the mess we find ourselves in today.

As a Christian American Conservative, trying to understand the cavalier attitude toward the world crumbling around them, by those whose political ideology and morality lies on the “other side” of the Political aisle, makes my head hurt.

Being an average American, having been raised by members of the Greatest Generation, I cannot fathom not worshiping the God of Abraham, Who numbered the hairs on my head. I cannot fathom not saying the Pledge of Allegiance with my hand over my heart (Yes, Mrs. Obama, all this for a flag.). And, I cannot comprehend how anybody, being privileged to live in America, could believe that there is a better country on the face of God’s green Earth.

A while back, I was asked to define what it means to be a Christian American Conservative. After all, that’s how I identify myself and that is what it says on the top of this blog.

Let’s perform a dissection, shall we?

First word: Christian – A follower of Jesus Christ.

I was raised as a Christian by my parents and accepted Christ as my personal Savior many years ago.

Here are some interesting things about Christianity to consider, written by Dr. Ray Pritchard and posted on christianity.com:

1) The name “Christian” was not invented by early Christians. It was a name given to them by others.
2) Christians called themselves by different names—disciples, believers, brethren, saints, the elect, etc.
3) The term apparently had a negative meaning in the beginning: “those belonging to the Christ party.”
4) It was a term of contempt or derision.
5) We can get a flavor for it if we take the word “Christ” and keep that pronunciation. You “Christ-ians.”
6) It literally means “Christ-followers.”
7) Over time a derogatory term became a positive designation.
8) Occasionally you will hear someone spit the term out in the same way it was used in the beginning. “You Christians think you’re the only ones going to heaven.”
9) There was a sense of suffering and reproach attached to the word in the New Testament.

In working my way toward an answer to “What is a Christian?” I decided to check out the dictionary. I found these two definitions:

1. One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. 2. One who lives according to the teachings of Jesus.”

That’s actually quite helpful because it gives some content to the word. To be a Christian means that you . . .

Believe Something
Follow Something
Live Something

A Fully Devoted Follower – To borrow a contemporary phrase, we could simply say that a Christian is a “fully devoted follower of Jesus.” As I think about that, two insights come to mind.

1) It doesn’t happen by accident. You are not “born” a Christian nor are you a Christian because of your family heritage. Being a Christian is not like being Irish. You aren’t a Christian simply because you were born into a Christian family.
2) It requires conversion of the heart. By using the term “conversion,” I simply mean what Jesus meant when he said that to be his disciple meant to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him (Luke 9:23). The heart itself must be changed so that you become a follower of the Lord.

Second word: American – A citizen of the United States of America.

Stephen M. Warchawsky, wrote the following in an article foramericanthinker.org:

So what, then, does it mean to be an American? I suspect that most of us believe, like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart in describing pornography, that we “know it when we see it.” For example, John Wayne, Amelia Earhart, and Bill Cosby definitely are Americans. The day laborers standing on the street corner probably are not. But how do we put this inner understanding into words? It’s not easy. Unlike most other nations on Earth, the American nation is not strictly defined in terms of race or ethnicity or ancestry or religion. George Washington may be the Father of Our Country (in my opinion, the greatest American who ever lived), but there have been in the past, and are today, many millions of patriotic, hardworking, upstanding Americans who are not Caucasian, or Christian, or of Western European ancestry. Yet they are undeniably as American as you or I (by the way, I am Jewish of predominantly Eastern European ancestry). Any definition of “American” that excludes such folks — let alone one that excludes me! — cannot be right.

…it must be recognized that demography alone does not, and cannot, explain what it means to be an American.

So where does that leave us? I think the answer to our question, ultimately, must be found in the realms of ideology and culture. What distinguishes the United States from other nations, and what unites the disparate peoples who make up our country, are our unique political, economic, and social values, beliefs, and institutions.Not race, or religion, or ancestry.

The following United States Oath of Citizenship must be taken by all immigrants who wish to become naturalized citizens of the United States:

I hereby declare, on oath,

that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;
that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic;

that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law;
that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law;

In acknowledgement whereof I have hereunto affixed my signature.

Third word: Conservative -A person who holds to traditional values and attitudes.

J. Matt Barber wrote in the Washington Times that

Ronald Reagan often spoke of a “three-legged stool” that undergirds true conservatism. The legs are represented by a strong defense, strong free-market economic policies and strong social values. For the stool to remain upright, it must be supported by all three legs. If you snap off even one leg, the stool collapses under its own weight.

A Republican, for instance, who is conservative on social and national defense issues but liberal on fiscal issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative socialist.

A Republican who is conservative on fiscal and social issues but liberal on national defense issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative dove.

By the same token, a Republican who is conservative on fiscal and national defense issues but liberal on social issues – such as abortion, so-called gay rights or the Second Amendment – is not a Reagan conservative. He is a socio-liberal libertarian.

Put another way: A Republican who is one part William F. Buckley Jr., one part Oliver North and one part Rachel Maddow is no true conservative. He is – well, I’m not exactly sure what he is, but it ain’t pretty.

Even the Brits understand what American Conservatism is.

Conservatism is thriving in America today because liberty, freedom and individual responsibility are at the heart of its ideology, one that rejects the foolish notion that government knows best. And its strength owes a great debt to the conviction and ideals of Ronald Reagan, who always believed that America’s best days are ahead of her, and for whom the notion of decline was unacceptable. As the Gipper famously put it, in a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in 1988:

Those who underestimate the conservative movement are the same people who always underestimate the American people.

In conclusion, I, a Christian American Conservative, am a follower of Jesus Christ and a citizen of the United States of America (by the Grace of God), who holds to traditional values and attitudes.

When I started this blog, in April of 2010, I did not know what I was going to write about, I just knew that I needed to vent. And vent, I have. On this, the occasion of my 1,600th post, I wish to thank you, my faithful readers, for your support.

The War Against Christianity: Living Under The Tyranny of the Minority

As I was trying to choose what to write about on this hot, Mississippi Morning, a hard, cold fact struck my simple mind: We are living in a country that continues to suffer under the tyranny of a minority.

Not a racial minority, mind you, but an ideological one.

76 % of Americans still self-identify as being Christians.

And yet, we are under attack daily, from the Main Stream Media, Cable and Satellite Television Programs, Social Media, and the current President of the United States of America and his Administration.

As Rev. Franklin Graham, the head of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, declares in the August-September Edition of Decision Magazine, “Heaven is not for cowards!”

“Christians cannot ignore parts of God’s Word because they are unpopular or cause division. Our commission is to proclaim Christ and all He stands for,” wrote Graham.

“This is what the church’s presence in the world is all about. We cannot sincerely proclaim the truth of God’s love while ignoring what He hates, and God hates sin.”

Graham also stressed the need for “godly courage” and for Christians to speak out against abortion and homosexuality.

“We are soldiers in God’s army, and we cannot stand down on biblical issues out of fear of being labeled a homophobe or judge,” wrote Graham.

“People make judgments every day. The world’s system passes judgments accepted by governments and citizens. But the world considers Christian judgment to be biased, judgmental and intolerant,” he added.

In a column published in the July-August edition of Decision magazine, the head of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, declared that “Heaven is not for cowards!”

Rev. Graham is spot on.

I can testify from personal experience, having caught flack for sticking to my Christian American Conservative Principles, since beginning my daily posts on this blog in April of 2010.

My posts, concerning American Christianity, seem to “touch a nerve” in both Liberals and Atheists, alike. (But, in at least some cases, I repeat myself.)

Their reaction has hardly been unexpected.

Of course, one of the Hot Button Issues, which those Liberals and Atheists who responded, over the years, immediately denied, was that our Founding Fathers were Christians and that our country was founded on a Judeo-Christian Belief System.

Evidently, they had never read anything, except what their like-minded, non-believing soothsayers, allowed them to. Or else, they would have read historical documents like President George Washington’s Thanksgiving Day Proclamation, written on November 1, 1777, and found at wallbuilders.com:

The committee appointed to prepare a recommendation to the several states, to set apart a day of public thanksgiving, brought in a report; which was taken into consideration, and agreed to as follows:

Forasmuch as it is the indispensable duty of all men to adore the superintending providence of Almighty God; to acknowledge with gratitude their obligation to him for benefits received, and to implore such farther blessings as they stand in need of; and it having pleased him in his abundant mercy not only to continue to us the innumerable bounties of his common providence, but also smile upon us in the prosecution of a just and necessary war, for the defense and establishment of our unalienable rights and liberties; particularly in that he hath been pleased in so great a measure to prosper the means used for the support of our troops and to crown our arms with most signal success:

And it is further recommended, that servile labor, and such recreation as, though at other times innocent, may be unbecoming the purpose of this appointment, be omitted on so solemn an occasion.

Of course, the Poster Boy for the claim by Liberal/Atheist responders, concerning the Founders’ lack of Christianity, is Thomas Jefferson.

Atheists like to bring up the fact that he wrote a version of the Bible which left out Christ’s miracles. What they are reluctant to do, though, is explain why he wrote his book that way. David Barton explains on wallbuilders.com:

The reader [of a newspaper article which Barton is replying to], as do many others, claimed that Jefferson omitted all miraculous events of Jesus from his “Bible.” Rarely do those who make this claim let Jefferson speak for himself. Jefferson’s own words explain that his intent for that book was not for it to be a “Bible,” but rather for it to be a primer for the Indians on the teachings of Christ (which is why Jefferson titled that work, “The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth”). What Jefferson did was to take the “red letter” portions of the New Testament and publish these teachings in order to introduce the Indians to Christian morality. And as President of the United States, Jefferson signed a treaty with the Kaskaskia tribe wherein he provided—at the government’s expense—Christian missionaries to the Indians. In fact, Jefferson himself declared, “I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus.” While many might question this claim, the fact remains that Jefferson called himself a Christian, not a deist.

The Eight Per Centers (Atheists) and young and/or misinformed Liberals, who replied to my blogs, insisted that Crosses and other Chrstian symbols have no place in the Public Square. They wish for Christians to remain unseen and unheard from, worshiping in private.

Unfortunately for them, The First Amendment to the Constitution still holds.

The Illegal Alien Invasion: Obama Preparing to Grant “Temporary Legal Status” By Executive Order

This past week has witnessed the ongoing Illegal Alien Invasion, occurring on our Southern Border, showing no signs of abating, despite the rhetoric and empty promises of United States President Barack Hussein Obama. In fact, word has come out that Obama and his Administration are considering flying illegal immigrants directly out of the country of Honduras, to our Sovereign Nation, basically cutting out the “Middle Man”, and, at the same time, bypassing normal Legal Immigration Procedure.

However, wait a minute, folks. You ain’t seen nothin’, yet!

Time.com reports that

The President may be preparing to provide temporary legal status [which will , of course, lead to permanent legal status] to millions of undocumented immigrants

When President Obama issues executive orders on immigration in coming weeks, pro-reform activists are expecting something dramatic: temporary relief from deportation and work authorization for perhaps several million undocumented immigrants. If the activists are right, the sweeping move would upend a contentious policy fight and carry broad political consequences.

The activists met privately with the President and his aides June 30 at the White House, and say in that meeting Obama suggested he will act before the November midterm elections. They hope his decision will offer relief to a significant percentage of the estimated 11.7 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. “He seems resolute that he’s going to go big and go soon,” says Frank Sharry, executive director of the pro-reform group America’s Voice.

Exactly what Obama plans to do is a closely held secret. But following the meeting with the activists, Obama declared his intention to use his executive authority to reform parts of a broken immigration system that has cleaved families and hobbled the economy. After being informed by Speaker John Boehner that the Republican-controlled House would not vote on a comprehensive overhaul of U.S. immigration law this year, the President announced in a fiery speech that he was preparing “to do what Congress refuses to do, and fix as much of our immigration system as we can.”

Obama has been cautious about preempting Congress. But its failure to act has changed his thinking. The recent meeting “was really the first time we had heard from the administration that they are looking at” expanding a program to provide temporary relief from deportations and work authorization for undocumented immigrants, says Marielena Hincapié, executive director of the National Immigration Law Center.

The White House won’t comment on how many undocumented immigrants could be affected. “I don’t want to put a number on it,” says a senior White House official, who says Obama’s timeline to act before the mid-term elections remains in place.

Obama has a broad menu of options at his disposal, but there are two major sets of changes he can order. The first is to provide affirmative relief from deportation to one or more groups of people. Under this mechanism, individuals identified as “low-priority” threats can come forward to seek temporary protection from deportation and work authorization. In 2012, the administration created a program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), that allowed eligible young unauthorized immigrants to apply for a two-year reprieve from deportation and a work permit.

The most aggressive option in this category would be expanding deferred action to anyone who could have gained legal status under the bipartisan bill that passed the Senate in June 2013. According to a Congressional Budget Office analysis, the Senate bill would have covered up to 8 million undocumented immigrants. It is unlikely that Obama goes that far. But even more modest steps could provide relief to a population numbering in the seven figures. “You can get to big numbers very quickly,” says Marshall Fitz, director of immigration policy at the Center for American Progress, a progressive think tank.

One plausible option would be to expand DACA to include some family members of those already eligible. Says a Congressional aide: “While there are several options to provide temporary deportation relief, we expect an expansion of the DACA program to other groups of individuals to be the most clear opportunity.”

It’s hard to pin down how many people this would cover; it would depend on how the administration crafts the order. But the numbers are substantial. According to the CBO, there are an estimated 4.7 million undocumented parents with a minor child living in the U.S., and 3.8 million whose children are citizens. Around 1.5 million undocumented immigrants are married to a U.S. citizen or lawful resident, but have been unable to gain legal status themselves.

Obama could also decide to grant protections for specific employment categories, such as the 1 million or so undocumented immigrants working in the agricultural sector, or to ease the visa restrictions hindering the recruitment of high-skilled foreign workers to Silicon Valley. Either move would please centrist and conservative business lobbies, who have joined with the left to press for comprehensive reform, and might help temper the blowback.

The second bucket of changes Obama is considering are more modest enforcement reforms. Jeh Johnson, Obama’s Secretary of Homeland Security, is deep into a review of the administration’s enforcement practices, and it is likely Obama will order some changes to immigration enforcement priorities. But if these tweaks are the extent of the changes, it would be a blow to activists expecting more. “That’s crumbs off the table compared to the meal we’d be expecting,” says Sharry.

Why is Obama purposefully weakening our Sovereign Nation by intentionally bypassing our Immigration Laws? Is he bringing over learned people? No. Is he bringing over businessmen? No. Is he bringing over tradesmen? No. Is he bringing over craftsmen? No.

Is President Barack Hussein Obama bringing over any illegals, who will immediately be productive members of American Society?

No.

Then, there must be another explanation.

Vladimir Ilyich Lenin rose to power during a time of economic plight in Russia, which was perceived as being the result of a greedy upper class. In order to depose the Czar and his government, Lenin had to solidify the “have-nots”, the Mentsheviks and the Bolsheviks, into his own private army, designed to usher in his “Glorious Revolution”.

Today, in 2014, Obama, voted by the American People, the “Worst president Since World War II”, finds himself is a rapidly weakening position of power.

His popularity is swirling down the ol’ porcelain receptacle, and even his own party members are trying to distance themselves from him.

His only hope to retain his power base is to create, politically, his own”private army” of Democrat voters, composed of, as Mitt Romney called them, “the 47%” of Americans dependent on Uncle Sugar and these new illegal aliens, whom he has been whisking off, via governmental transport, to be dispersed throughout the country, where, within a couple of years, they will be old enough to vote.

By ginning up the dependent base already here…and growing…due to this new influx of illegals…to push Congress to support Obama in passing Amnesty, Obama is creating his own “Revolutionary Army” of potential Democrat Voters, to fulfill his promise of “rapidly changing” America as we know it.

Obama is intentionally bypassing the normal process of legal Immigration, including one very important part,, which all immigrants, who wish to be Americans must pledge:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

A little over a month after I started Kingjester’s Blog, on May 18, 2010, a young man named Benito wrote me to me in the comments section. Benito, an activist for the cause of Illegal Immigration, insisted that the situation of people iin this country illegally, was once of “Civil Rights”. This is how I responded to him:

Benito, I approved your comment to ask you a few questions. First, you write very well. Next, a few questions. What part of the word “illegal” do you not understand? What makes the current influx of illegal immigrants exempt from the rules and regulations that every other generation of immigrants to this country had to abide by in order to become legal citizens of the greatest nation in the world? By being here illegally, you are not entitled to the same rights as natural-born or naturalized American citizens. You are no better than someone who breaks into someone’s home, does their dishes, cuts their yard, cleans their house, and then helps themselves to their food and drives their car without asking. This is in no way a human rights issue. Freedom is God-given. And with freedom comes responsibility. With citizenship comes responsibility, like paying taxes and making your own way. Illegal immigration reminds me of the amorous boyfriend who wants everything a young woman will give him, but will leave her at the first mention of marriage. I wish you no ill, amigo, but understand this: This is not a civil rights issue. Illegals do not have the same rights as American Citizens. With our rights, come the responsibilities of being an American citizen. The Mexican flag, by protocol, will always be flown in a subordinate position to the American Flag in this country. And, the American Dialect of the English language is the language spoken in this country.

Obama: America’s Semi-Retired President

A lot of Americans, as they become older and more established in their professional lives, enter a state of “semi-retirement”.

This is a time of their life, when they do not have to work 60 hour weeks in order to pay the bills, and, therefore, on beautiful, sunny days, these American businessmen can often be found with their fellows out of the golf course, or sipping a libation in “the 19th Green”.

It is a perk that they believe that they have earned for “a job well done”.

Evidently, the President of the United States of America believes that he has reached the pinnacle of his “career” as well, even though he has never worked at a legitimate job in his entire life of sponsored privilege.

As I have chronicled, our country is being invaded by illegal aliens, carrying with them gang affiliations and diseases, such as tuberculosis and scabies. Obama has done nothing to stem this flow of “undocumented immigrants” into our Sovereign Nation. On the contrary, he has fed them and then, transported them all across our country, placing them in position to be future Democrat Voters.

Also, domestically, Obama has signed an Executive Order stating that any American Religious Institution, which accepts taxpayer money from the Federal Government, may not “discriminate” against Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, or Transvestites.

Meanwhile, over 92,000,000 Americans have become so depressed over trying to find meaningful employment in Obama’s stagnant economy, that they have simply dropped out of the American Work Force.

At the same time, as Israel defends their own sovereignty, by launching a strike against the forces of Hamas, who had built tunnels for their own nefarious purposes in the Gaza Strip, Obama and his Secretary of State, John Kerry, call for a cease-fire, refusing to acknowledge that Hamas is using Palestinian children as human shields.

Additionally, regarding “Smart Power!”, Obama’s failed Foreign Policy, boxcars full of stacked human remains from Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17, are leaving the site where Russian-Armed Ukrainian Separatists shot it out of the sky, killing all aboard.

Obama’s response?

A sternly worded speech.

I am sure Putin is beside himself with fear.

With all of this going on, in America and around the world, one would think that a Responsible American President would keep his had firmly on the helm of the Ship of State.

Not Obama. He’s a success…in his own mind.

It’s time for some more fundraising for the Democrats! After all…a man has to have priorities.

Facing dueling foreign policy crises abroad, President Barack Obama is fending off criticism at home as he heads to the West Coast tomorrow for a three-day fundraising swing for Democratic candidates.

At events in Seattle, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles, the president will mingle with Hollywood stars and technology moguls. The political events, scheduled weeks ago, come as Obama works to contain a growing conflict in Gaza and the fallout from a crash of a Malaysian passenger jet in Ukraine.

White House officials defended Obama’s decision to stick with his schedule, saying the president travels with a mobile White House that allows him to do his job from the road.

“If it becomes clear that there’s a need for him to come back to the White House, in order to fulfill those functions, then we’ll make a change in his schedule,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters today. “Right now, it’s not apparent that that’s the case.”

Now, you see “The Importance of Being Earnest” (That’s a pun, son.)

His job qualification is that he can spout all of that prevaricating spin with a straight face.

He learned how to do that from the Prevaricator-in-Chief.

Speaking of The Lightbringer…

If you think that Obama cares that the majority of Americans think that he’s the worst American President since World War II, you would be mistaken.

During a Townhall Meeting yesterday, during which Obama spoke to a hand-picked crowd of young people, he explained to them how he handles criticism…

“I just don’t watch TV,” Obama joked, after he was asked about his critics during a town hall promoting the White House “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative.

Obama advised young people to listen to critics who actually had their interests at heart.

“Who gives you constructive criticism because they’re invested in the same things you are but maybe can see the things you can’t, versus folks who are just — what’d someone say — hatin’? Somebody just hatin’, just haters?” Obama said.

Obama said that people should only focus on “constructive criticism.”

“One thing you should learn is, if somebody is being constructive in their criticism, usually they are not criticizing you, they’re criticizing your actions and what you do and are giving you something specific,” Obama said.

Obama used a basketball metaphor to explain himself, comparing a coach who has specific goals for players versus a coach that tells a player they’re no good.

“If they can’t, if all they’re saying is, ‘You’re not worth nothin,’ then that’s probably not something that you want to pay a lot of attention to,” Obama said. “Does that make sense?”

There is one problem with your logic, Scooter:

You can’t ignore us.You work for us…not the other way around.

We, your bosses, did not give you permission to be “semi-retired”.

If you can not handle the full-time job you were elected to do, perhaps it is time you took some more time off to get out and raise money for the Democrat Party.

How does the rest of your life sound?

Malaysian Airlines Flight mh370/Korean Airlines 007…Obama/Reagan…a Fundraiser/an American President

Yesterday, the long-simmering conflict between Russia and Ukraine took a new and horribly deadly turn, causing 23 Americans to lose their lives .

The CBS Affiliate in Washington has details

A Malaysia Airlines passenger plane carrying 298 people was shot down over eastern Ukraine on Thursday as it flew over the country, and both the government and the pro-Russia separatists fighting in the region denied any responsibility for downing the plane.

An earlier tally of 295 dead was raised to include three infants in an official list of passengers released by Malaysia Airlines. The bulk of the passengers were from the Netherlands — 154 people. Next highest was 45 from Malaysia and 27 from Australia.

CBS News confirms the Boeing 777 was shot down by a missile as it flew at 33,000 feet over the war zone in Ukraine, but it is not clear where the missile was fired from.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Ukraine “bears responsibility” for the crash because the plane was brought down in the country.

“This tragedy would not have happened, if there had been peace on that land, or in any case if military operations in southeastern Ukraine had not been renewed,” Putin said in televised comments, according to Reuters.

Wreckage and bodies are spread over several miles along the flight path, CBS News correspondent Bob Orr reports. That would be consistent with the plane being ripped apart by aerodynamic forces after the aircraft was penetrated by a high explosive projectile.

As plumes of black smoke rose up near a rebel-held village of Grabovo, an Associated Press journalist counted at least 22 bodies at the wreckage site 25 miles from the Russian border.

A Russian news report said pro-Russia rebels intend to call a three-day cease-fire to allow for an investigation into the crash and recovery efforts.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko called the downing an act of terrorism and called for an international investigation into the crash. He insisted that his forces did not shoot down the plane.

The government of Ukraine said in a statement Thursday afternoon that it has evidence that the Russian military was involved in the crash.

And, what did the President of the United States do about this tragedy? Did he come on National Television last night in remembrance of those 23 Americans who lost their lifes and, assure the nation that their deaths would not be in vain?

Are you kidding me?

Politico.com has the whole, sorry story…

President Barack Obama made his first comments Thursday on the Malaysia Airlines crash in Ukraine, saying the incident “looks like it may be a terrible tragedy.”

The president did not confirm any details of the crash and said he has asked his aides to keep in contact with Ukrainian officials. The administration is “working to determine whether there were American citizens on board; that is our first priority.”

Obama’s remarks came at the start of a speech at the Port of Wilmington in Wilmington, Delaware, before he moved on to his planned remarks on boosting infrastructure spending.

…After his speech in Wilmington, Obama is headed to New York for two closed-press fundraisers, one for the Democratic National Committee and another for House Majority PAC.

Evidently, 23 dead Americans are not as important to this President of the United States, as raising money for his fellow Democrats, speaking in front of hand-picked adoring crowds.

Pi-ti-ful…and disgusting.

On September 5, 1983, President Ronald Reagan addressed the nation, concerning another incident like yesterday’s, which involved Russia. Korean Air Lines Flight 007 was a scheduled Korean Air Lines flight from New York City to Seoul via Anchorage. On September 1, 1983, the airliner serving the flight was shot down by a Soviet Su-15 interceptor near Moneron Island, west of Sakhalin Island, in the Sea of Japan. The interceptor’s pilot was Major Gennadi Osipovich. All 269 passengers and crew aboard were killed, including Lawrence McDonald, representative from Georgia in the United States House of Representatives. The aircraft was en route from Anchorage to Seoul when it flew through prohibited Soviet airspace around the time of a U.S. reconnaissance mission.

Here is an excerpt of President Ronald Reagan’s televised speech to the nation:

My fellow Americans:

I’m coming before you tonight about the Korean airline massacre, the attack by the Soviet Union against 269 innocent men, women, and children aboard an unarmed Korean passenger plane. This crime against humanity must never be forgotten, here or throughout the world.

Our prayers tonight are with the victims and their families in their time of terrible grief. Our hearts go out to them — to brave people like Kathryn McDonald, the wife of a Congressman whose composure and eloquence on the day of her husband’s death moved us all. He will be sorely missed by all of us here in government.

The parents of one slain couple wired me: “Our daughter…and her husband…died on Korean Airline Flight 007. Their deaths were the result of the Soviet Union violating every concept of human rights.” The emotions of these parents — grief, shock, anger — are shared by civilized people everywhere. From around the world press accounts reflect an explosion of condemnation by people everywhere.

Let me state as plainly as I can: There was absolutely no justification, either legal or moral, for what the Soviets did. One newspaper in India said, “If every passenger plane…is fair game for home air forces…it will be the end to civil aviation as we know it.”

This is not the first time the Soviet Union has shot at and hit a civilian airliner when it over flew its territory. In another tragic incident in 1978, the Soviets also shot down an unarmed civilian airliner after having positively identified it as such. In that instance, the Soviet interceptor pilot clearly identified the civilian markings on the side of the aircraft, repeatedly questioned the order to fire on a civilian airliner, and was ordered to shoot it down anyway. The aircraft was hit with a missile and made a crash landing. Several innocent people lost their lives in this attack, killed by shrapnel from the blast of a Soviet missile.

Is this a practice of other countries in the world? The answer is no. Commercial aircraft from the Soviet Union and Cuba on a number of occasions have over flown sensitive United States military facilities. They weren’t shot down. We and other civilized countries believe in the tradition of offering help to mariners and pilots who are lost or in distress on the sea or in the air. We believe in following procedures to prevent a tragedy, not to provoke one.

But despite the savagery of their crime, the universal reaction against it, and the evidence of their complicity, the Soviets still refuse to tell the truth. They have persistently refused to admit that their pilot fired on the Korean aircraft. Indeed, they’ve not even told their own people that a plane was shot down.

They have spun a confused tale of tracking the plane by radar until it just mysteriously disappeared from their radar screens, but no one fired a shot of any kind. But then they coupled this with charges that it was a spy plane sent by us and that their planes fired tracer bullets past the plane as a warning that it was in Soviet airspace.

Let me recap for a moment and present the incontrovertible evidence that we have. The Korean airliner, a Boeing 747, left Anchorage, Alaska, bound for Seoul, Korea, on a course south and west which would take it across Japan. Out over the Pacific, in international waters, it was for a brief time in the vicinity of one of our reconnaissance planes, an RC-135, on a routine mission. At no time was the RC-135 in Soviet airspace. The Korean airliner flew on, and the two planes were soon widely separated.

The 747 is equipped with the most modern computerized navigation facilities, but a computer must respond to input provided by human hands. No one will ever know whether a mistake was made in giving the computer the course or whether there was a malfunction. Whichever, the 747 was flying a course further to the west than it was supposed to fly — a course which took it into Soviet airspace.

The Soviets tracked this plane for 2 1/2 hours while it flew a straight-line course at 30 to 35,000 feet. Only civilian airliners fly in such a manner. At one point, the Korean pilot gave Japanese air control his position as east of Hokkaido, Japan, showing that he was unaware they were off course by as much or more than a hundred miles.

The Soviets scrambled jet interceptors from a base in Sakhalin Island. Japanese ground sites recorded the interceptor planes’ radio transmissions — their conversations with their own ground control. We only have the voices from the pilots; the Soviet ground-to-air transmissions were not recorded. It’s plain, however, from the pilot’s words that he’s responding to orders and queries from his own ground control.

President Reagan went on to play tapes of the conversation between the Soviets on the ground and the Flight Crew, which confirmed that they were targeting the Korean Airliner.

The President concluded his address tp the nation by saying,

I‘ve told you negotiations we’ve suspended as a result of the Korean airline massacre, but we cannot, we must not give up our effort to reduce the arsenals of destructive weapons threatening the world. Ambassador Nitze has returned to Geneva to resume the negotiations on intermediate-range nuclear weapons in Europe. Equally, we will continue to press for arms reductions in the START talks that resume in October. We are more determined than ever to reduce and, it possible, eliminate the threat hanging over mankind.

We know it will be heard to make a nation that rules its own people through force to cease using force against the rest of the world. But we must try.

This is not a role we sought. We preach no manifest destiny. But like Americans who began this country and brought forth this last, best hope of mankind, history has asked much of the Americans of our own time. Much we have already given; much more we must be prepared to give.

Let us have faith, in Abraham Lincoln’s words, “that right makes might, and in that faith let us, to the end dare to do our duty as we understand it.” If we do, if we stand together and move forward with courage, then history will record that some good did come from this monstrous wrong that we will carry with us and remember for the rest of our lives.

Compare and contrast the two reactions by these two totally different individuals, who were elected as our Sovereign Nation’s Protector and Defender of its citizens.
