Liberals Pushing “Moral Equivalency” Between American Christianity and Radical Islam

Islam cartoonRecently, I have heard and read from some of this “Me, First Generation” that there is not any difference between American Christianity and Radical Islam. Quite frankly, that’s like saying that there’s no difference between an in-ground swimming pool and a garden hose.

In Islam, the way to “walk with God and escape his judgement on that final day of judgment” is through ‘falah’, which means self-effort or positive achievement. The faithful must submit to God and follow all of his laws as found in the Koran. Judgment day in Islam involves some sort of measurement of what the believer has done wrong and what they have done right. And, even then, you might not be let into heaven if Allah decides you’re not good enough.

This is the direct opposite of Christianity.

According to the Bible, no man can ever be good enough to deserve God’s favor, to win God’s heaven, because from birth we have Free Will. This Free Will may cause us to reject God and live our lives our own way. That’s why it was necessary for Jesus Christ to die for our sins, covering us in His blood of the New Covenant.

God’s Word tells us that what we need is not ‘falah,’ but faith. To have faith in, to trust, to rely on Jesus and his death as as “the expiation for our sins”. Those who have been Saved by Jesus Christ can be sure that in the future God will welcome them into heaven with wide open arms, because they have been washed by His blood.

Obama,having attended school at an Indonesian Madrassa as a child, has been supportive of Muslims in America since his Presidency began.  In a speech he delivered to the Muslim world on June 4, 2009 at Cairo University, Obama said:

I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America’s story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President John Adams wrote, “The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims.”

Time out, Scooter.  US President John Adams  also said:

The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.

Now, back to the Cairo Speech.

And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, served in government, stood for civil rights, started businesses, taught at our Universities, excelled in our sports arenas, won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers – Thomas Jefferson – kept in his personal library.

However, what the Liberal Main Stream Media never reported, and Obama chose to ignore, was the fact that Thomas Jefferson kept a Koran in his library in order to gain a better insight into the way Muslims think, because of the War with the Barbary Pirates.

Obama and his minions are trying desperately to rewrite history , by trying to somehow subliminally imply that Muslims go all the way back in our nation to the Founding Fathers.  That is not the case.

Islam and Christianity present two very different Deities, who may share some similarities, but who have different identities and ultimately different standards. To pretend they are the same is not only to be clueless of the faith of 78% of the citizens of this nation, but, to be ignorant of an integral part of our American Heritage, the legacy of Christian Faith, which our Founding Fathers bequeathed us.

Now, I am not saying that every Muslim is on a jihad against “the infidels”.

However…

When Christians become “radicalized”, we want to share the testimony of what God has done for us through His love, with everyone we meet. We get involved in our local church and we become better fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and American citizens.

When Muslims become “radicalized”, they want to “kill the Infidels” in the name of “Allah the Merciful”.

In the case of the Chechen Muslim brothers who bombed the Boston Marathon, their immersion into Radical Islam led them to “kill the infidels” that horrendous day.

For Liberals to deny that, is disingenuous at best, and just plain out-and-out lying at worst.

Mother’s Day 2014: Thanks For Life, Mother

mothersdayOn this Mothers Day, the report comes out from a National Meeting in my Hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, that some members of the Grand Old Party don’t particularly care whether others have the opportunity to live or not.

The Washington Times reported Friday that

Gay marriage and abortion, divisive issues within the Republican party, have flared again at the RNC’s meeting here, with Nevada’s delegation firing back at criticism of its April decision to remove anti-abortion and anti-gay language from its state platform.

Angered by an email from Oklahoma Republican National Committee member Carolyn McLarty that questioned its loyalty to the national party, the Nevada delegation sent a stinging rebuke to the 168-member national committee.

“The removal of two social issues from our platform does not mean that ‘we’ as individual people are ‘for’ gay marriage or ‘for’ abortion,” the email said. “The removal of these planks recognizes the inappropriateness of the existence of these planks in our platform in the first place.”

“We disagree with Committeewoman McLarty where she said ‘They are symptoms of the infiltration of the Republican Party by those who really want to destroy it,’ ” it said.

The delegation also took issue with Mrs. McLarty, an evangelical Protestant and staunch opponent of abortion, calling its action an “attack on God and family.”

“We are insulted by this accusation. Most of our delegates have deep spiritual beliefs,” the Nevada email said.

Grass-roots Republicans themselves are divided over whether abortion should be banned nationally by a constitutional amendment or whether it’s a matter of states’ discretion.

Some respected veteran RNC members were not pleased with the Nevada action on abortion – in part because there is widespread agreement among RNC members that the Democratic party is the party sympathetic to abortion and the GOP has differentiated itself as the “pro-life” party – and because many RNC members are dedicated opponents of what they regard as “murder of the unborn.”

“The Nevada RNC member reported to her fellow RNC western region committee members the platform was ‘shortened “to benefit voters and candidates,’” Arizona RNC member Bruce Ash told The Washington Times.

“I raise the question of whether the Nevada GOP was exercising wise judgment by doing so as well as why these were the best to select,” Mr. Ash said.

But many Republicans agree the GOP must preserve its coalition of voters with disparate views.

I was “reared” (as we say in Dixie) by a Mother and Daddy (Southern colloquialism for a Male Parental Unit) who were members of the Greatest Generation. In fact, I was born 3 days before my mother’s 40th brithday. To this day, I believe that they were going to name me “Oops”.

My mother, like many Middle Class Southern Ladies, after World War II, was ahead of her time. Both her and My Daddy worked 20 years for Sears and Roebuck. And yet, she still had time to cook our meals, and be a single parent to me on those nights when my Daddy worked the late shift and had to help close up, and those Saturdays, when he had to work.

My mother was born in Dyersburg, TN, one of 7 children of a barber (5 girls and two boys). She and my Daddy both lived through the Great Depression and worked hard to make sure that my sisters and I had a good life.

Mother was very strict on us, pushing us to excel. My late step-sister, the oldest, took piano lessons for several years, and played beautifully. My older sister also played piano, acted in school plays, and sang in choirs. She too has been a hard-working mother, working full-time and raising two wonderful children, who are now grown.

My Mother was a strict disciplinarian, always pushing me to do better. If I brought home a “B”, she would tell me I should have gotten a “A”. Because of her, I wound up graduating high school 30th in a class of 360, with a GPA of 3.54.

My view of the world around me was shaped and nurtured by her and my Daddy, a Christian American, and the finest man I’ve ever known, who served with an Army Engineering Unit, as a Master Sergeant, in World War II, and who jumped off of a perfectly good boat into a hail of gunfire to join his American Brothers in the tide-turning American Victory known as “D-Day”.

My Mother and Daddy taught me what it was to be a hard-working, Middle Class Christian American Conservative….and, to be proud of it.

Now, on Mothers day, as I look at this totally messed-up popular culture around me, brought to us by the “Me, First!” Generation, I thank God that my Mother gave me the Gift of Life and did not take the “easy way out” at 40 years of age.

If Liberals, on both sides of the aisle, (because you cannot claim Conservatism, if you want to kill babies) would only perform a self-assessment, and come to the realization that the life inside a human mother’s womb, is in fact, a HUMAN BEING, and not “a bunch of cells,”, “a parasitic life form”, or “an inconvenience”, then abortion would go the way of the rotary telephone.

Unfortunately, though, when you have a president whose first act, upon obtaining the office, was to authorize American Taxpayers’ money be sent to abortion clinics around the world, and who said,

Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information,

that probably is not going to happen anytime soon.

However, we can still pray for our nation’s unborn. And, keep fighting the good fight!

In conclusion, I ask you to thank your mother , on this Mothers Day, for the very first, and most important gift, which she ever gave you:

BenghaziGate: Pelosi Continues to Deny Reality as the Democrat Distraction Campaign Continues

How many squirrels are there in the White House backyard?

The reason I asked that question is because it seems that every time that the President and his Administration gets in trouble, they point out another squirrel for us to concentrate on.

Now that it has been decided that there will be a House Select Committee appointed, with Trey Howdy as its chairman, to investigate that horrible night of September 11th, 2012, when 4 Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, were slaughtered at the hands of al Qaeda operatives, on the grounds of the US Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya, the Administration and all of their minions, including the Main Stream Media, are trying their best to focus the country’s attention in another direction. This time the direction is Nigeria, where almost 250 young girls have been kidnapped by the al Qaeda operatives there.

The Administration’s efforts include having a picture of First Lady Michelle Obama holding up a sign of the Diplomatic Room of the White House featuring  the Twitter hashtag du jour, #BringBackOurGirls.

As I wrote earlier in the week, the President has sent military consultants over there in an effort to help find the young ladies, and to divert the low information voter’s attention away from the Benghazi Massacre.

Meanwhile, back on the homefront, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi talked to reporters yesterday, after the House Democrat held a meeting, trying to decide whether to be a part of the Committee or not. She told the reporters that the formation of a select committee was simply a distraction from her fallen messiah’s master plan to raise the dead and cure athlete’s Foot.

Well…that’s not exactly what she said, but what she did say was just as goofy.

The Washington Examiner reports that

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says a new Republican-led panel to investigate the Benghazi attacks is just political stunt that doesn’t concern most Americans.

“Either people have gotten tired of Benghazi or they never knew about it in the first place,” the California Democrat told reporters Friday at the Capitol. “It’s all subterfuge because they don’t want to talk about what our responsibilities are here” in Congress.

The GOP-run House on Thursday rammed through a measure to establish a 12-member select committee to probe the attacks. The panel was set up to include seven Republicans and five Democrats, though Pelosi says that — for now — Democrats won’t participate.

“Let’s not be accomplices to this diversionary tactic,” she said.

Pelosi added that the Republicans’ push for a new Benghazi panel was the result of GOP Rep. Darrell Issa’s failure to lead his own probe of the attacks.

Five House committees have been investigating the attacks, most notably the Oversight and Government Reform Committee led by Issa, R-Calif.

But Pelosi said Republican leaders have been so displeased with Issa’s efforts they decided to “move from him to another venue.”

“Issa just is damaged goods,” she said. “We’ve been there, done this, over and over again.”

Issa has been highly critical of the Obama administration’s response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. The White House initially said the attacks were spontaneous and linked to protests earlier that day in Cairo against an American-made video denigrating Islam’s prophet Muhammad. But Republicans have said the evidence shows that the administration knew it was a planned attack by an organized anti-American terrorist group.

The Looney Lib-ette, while saying that “the American People are tired of it”, also said that “they never knew about it in the first place”.

I tried to figure that one out, but it gave me a headache.

A Fox News Poll of 1,006 registered U.S. voters released in February, showed that

Overall, 66 percent of the respondents want the investigation t continue. And more specifically, 83 percent of Republicans, 50 percent of Democrats and 68 percent of independents agree — along with 92 percent of tea partyers, 78 percent of conservatives, 47 percent of liberals, 58 percent of blacks, 67 percent of whites, 68 percent of women and 63 percent of men.

For all of the Administration’s and their minions’ subterfuge and attempts at distraction, the fact remains that, on September 25, 2012, United States President, Barack Hussein Obama, spoke before the United Nations General Assembly, blaming an un-watched youtube.com video, for the massacre of 4 brave Americans, on the night of September 11, 2011, at the Benghazi , Libya, U.S. Embassy Compound, by al Qaeda Operatives…

…In every culture, those who love freedom for themselves must ask themselves how much they’re willing to tolerate freedom for others. And that is what we saw play out in the last two weeks, where a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world. Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity. It is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well.

For as the city outside these walls makes clear, we are a country that has welcomed people of every race and every faith. We are home to Muslims who worship across our country. We not only respect the freedom of religion, we have laws that protect individuals from being harmed because of how they look or what they believe.

We understand why people take offense to this video because millions of our citizens are among them. I know there are some who ask why don’t we just ban such a video. The answer is enshrined in our laws. Our Constitution protects the right to practice free speech.

Over a year and one-half later, the truth as to who issued the Stand Down Order, and sacrificed the lives of those 4 men, for the sake of political expediency, on that horrible night in Benghazi, is still not known. Americans have their suspicions. Suspicions that were not allayed any by the before-quoted speech by President Obama at the UN General Assembly, in which he proclaimed that

…The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

Since that night in Benghazi, the Radical Muslim-fueled violence know as “Arab Spring” has proceeded “right on schedule”, with Syrian’s Muslim President Assad now in its cross-hairs. 

President Obama has made speeches in support of and sent advanced weaponry to the “Syrian Rebels”, whose majority are card-carrying members of the Muslim Terrorist Group, al Qaeda, perpetrators of the largest Terrorist Attack ever on American Soil, on 9/11/01, and the attack on the Benghazi Compound.

Fortunately, Americans refuse to support Obama’s mission to aid these Terrorists.

Our memories of those two faithful days, 11 years apart, and average Americans’ wish for justice for those 3,000 and 4 Americans, savagely murdered by the “followers of the prophet”, take precedence over any trumped-up concern by President Barack Hussein Obama over any slander of “Muhammed’s name”. 

Americans want the truth.

Obama and his followers can’t handle the truth.

American Atheists to Launch Their Own Television Channel

atheismDo you remember a woman named Madalyn Murray O’Hair?

Born in 1919 to a poor family in Pittsburgh, she was raised by church-going parents but claimed she became an atheist after reading the complete Bible in her early teen years. Madalyn Murray O’Hair became a household name when she contested the required moment of prayer and Bible reading in her son William’s Baltimore-area public school in 1960. The Supreme Court, then under Chief Justice Earl Warren, delivered its 8-1 verdict in favor of O’Hair on June 17, 1963, expanding an earlier school prayer decision in the 1962 Engel v. Vitale case. Murray v. Curlett, along with Abington v. Schempp, eliminated not only obligatory school prayer but also mandatory Bible readings in public schools.

Though the Schempp case got top billing, O’Hair quickly became a hero among secular Americans. “The Schempps did not want to be in the limelight,” O’Hair biographer and University of Missouri-Kansas City dean Bryan LeBeau told Beliefnet in a 2004 interview. “Madalyn walked right out to the front of the Supreme Court building, her son by her side, and grabbed the microphone from the press and insisted that this was a major case and she was responsible for it. She took credit and then went on to say that she wasn’t done, that she was going to go on and challenge all kinds of other church-state matters.”

Undeterred by the backlash (O’Hair received death threats and was the victim of vandalism long after the 1963 decision), O’Hair continued to insert herself into church and state legal battles as the country’s atheist-in-chief. “I am an Atheist,” she wrote in the “Why I Am an Atheist” pamphlet. “I am a bit more than that–an Atheist. I am, in fact, the Atheist. The Atheist who made Americans stop to take a little stock of their accepted values.”

Later in 1963, O’Hair founded American Atheists, which remains one of the most activist atheist groups in the U.S. today.

Back in the 1980s, when I was working for a national Cable Television Provider, one of my jobs was to run the syndicated show of the American Atheists, hosted by Madalyn Murray O’Hair. I found her to be a bitter old woman, who spent her life fighting against Someone whom she believed did not exist.

Now, the group she founded plans on taking things a step further.

The New York Daily News reports that

A New Jersey-based atheist group is starting the first on-demand TV channel dedicated to godlessness.

AtheistTV will be launching this summer with big plans to reach out to atheists, humanists, freethinkers, and folks who are looking for a way out of faith.

Members of American Atheists, the organization behind the endeavor, think it’s about time.

“There’s a glut of religious TV programming out there, from televangelists to Christmas specials,” spokesman Dave Muscato told The News. “But there’s no atheist channel. We wanted to fill that void.”

The American Atheists plan to launch their new TV channel this summer.

American Atheists already has a production studio at their national headquarters in Cranford, N.J., where they film their public access cable show “Atheist Viewpoint.” The show is in its 20th season and is distributed to 50 markets across the country.

AtheistTV will make use of content from their homegrown show, as well as their archive of footage from the past 50 years of its activist history. But they’re also seeking to join forces with other content providers—non-profit secular organizations such as the Richard Dawkins Foundation and atheist YouTube stars with big fan bases.

So, will this venture be successful, or will it be as unpopular as Air America and Al-Jazeera America?

According to a Pew Forum Survey, more than 13 million Americans are self-described atheists and agnostics, comprising less than 6% of the U.S. public.

I have never understood Atheists, especially the so-called activists among them.

Our Constitution provides for Freedom of Religion.

According to the Supreme Court, in their Ruling abolishing School Prayer, Atheism is a religion, which the Americans who embrace this nihilism are free to practice.

So, why are Atheist Activists continuously launching a full-blown attack on the Faith which our Founding Fathers wrote so eloquently about, and which has sustained this “shining city on a hill” through times of internal and external strife?

In other words, why are activist Atheists (and Progressives) so intent to either limit or completely eliminate Christianity’s influence on everyday American Life?

Why can’t they be content with their freedom to practice their own Religion?

Why don’t they attack the political/religious ideology of Islam with the same fervor?

The answer to this question is simple:  Cowards will always tell you whom they are afraid of. They will avoid them, like one avoids a child with Chicken Pox.

Additionally, they expect Christians to allow them to take control by “turning the other cheek.” Evidently, they never read the scriptures which describe Jesus running the “money lenders” out of the temple, overturning tables, and expressing his righteous indignation in a way in which no one could mistake it for anything else.

Or, perhaps, it’s the overwhelming overestimation in their own intelligence, which results from ignoring the influence of the God of Abraham in their life.

So, what drives them in this “Unholy Crusade”?

Bitterness, emptiness, and an unfulfilled hungering in their soul which they cannot put a finger on, is the only explanation.

Otherwise, why would you fight so hard against the influence of and worship of Someone you claim not to believe in?

Palin Warns GOP Establishment: “Keep Gloating…No Voting”

palin-newsweekOnce the ballots were counted after Tuesday’s State Primaries around the country, it was discovered that “Republican Establishment” Candidates had scored some victories over local “TEA Party” Candidates. Immediately, the Vichy Republicans and their “Cheerleaders” began to gloat about their victories.

As Tony Lee of Breitbart.com reported…

The Republican establishment gloated after three underfunded Tea Party challengers failed to knock off incumbent Republicans in primaries on Tuesday while another establishment-backed candidate secured the GOP nomination for Senate in North Carolina.

“Next up is that fraud @MattBevin! #GOP,” tweeted Jahan Wilcox, a former aide to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) who is now the RNC’s director of rapid response. (He later deleted it and said his thoughts were his “personal opinions.”)

Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) defeated her primary challenger Frank Roche despite a series of high-profile outbursts in support of amnesty. Ellmers was heavily backed by Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg’s FWD.us group.

“Folks should be talking more about Ellmers,” tweeted Becky Tallent, a senior aide to Speaker John Boehner who formerly served as one of Sen. John McCain’s top amnesty lieutenants.

Boehner (R-OH) unsurprisingly coasted to victory against challenger J.D Winteregg. In response, Ana Navarro, the Jeb Bush ally, promptly tweeted,”Congratulations to @johnboehner on decisive primary win. Rumors of his demise were greatly exagerated….who’s crying now?”

Ohio freshman Rep. David Joyce defeated Matt Lynch, who was endorsed by FreedomWorks and Ron Paul, which prompted Brian Walsh, the former NRSC director of communications who still advises the group, to tweet, “BOOM.”
In the night’s main event, Tillis avoided what would have been a costly runoff to win the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate by securing more than 40% of the vote. He will take on vulnerable incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) in the fall. Tillis defeated Greg Brannon — who was backed by FreedomWorks, Rand Paul, the Senate Conservatives Fund, and nearly every local Tea Party group — and Mark Harris — who received the support of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Meanwhile, Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, the Chamber of Commerce, and American Crossroads backed Tillis for the win.
NRSC Chairman Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS) congratulated Tillis and said he is “a strong contrast with Kay Hagan who, beyond ObamaCare and being a rubber stamp for Barack Obama, has little to show for her time in Washington.”

“Kay Hagan promised to be an independent voice for North Carolina, but instead has voted with President Obama an astounding 96 percent of the time,” Moran said. “It’s far from the only promise that Kay Hagan broke to voters in North Carolina. By November, this race will be a clear contrast between an effective candidate versus an ineffective Senator.”

Rand Paul immediately congratulated Tillis on his Facebook page and said he looks “forward to working with him in the Senate.”

“I congratulate my friend Greg Brannon on a well fought race and encourage all the candidates to unite for victory in November,” Paul said, in a statement with a notably conciliatory tone.

TEA Party Favorite, the strong Reagan Conservative, whom I call the “Arctic Fox”, Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, wrote the following on her Facebook Page…

C’mon now, guys. This gloating among establishment Republicans calls for the same reprimand we parents offer 12-year-olds who scuffle on the playground. I often remind my young daughter, especially, after her ball games, of the importance of being considerate and gracious in both victory and defeat.

Congratulations to candidates in yesterday’s small pool of state primary elections who will now move on to their respective general elections. Now, knock off the gloating. The GOP establishment must ratchet any kind of arrogance way down and get in touch with independent, constitutional conservatives who build the base of the party. They do the thankless work to put boots on the ground for your campaigns, and they show up to vote if you give us good reason to vote. Anything less and we will not secure victory for America this fall.

Surely, politicians and high paid D.C. consultants, you realize we all need to work together after these valuable competitive primaries that offer good debate and clear awareness of candidates’ positions, right? It’s extremely off-putting to witness post-primary smugness. Well-funded campaigns that rub a victory in the face of primary challengers’ supporters sure don’t endear the winning campaign to voters who are beyond tired of the selfish political games that have gotten the country into the mess we’re in. Your gloating causes apathy, if not downright disgust, among concerned citizens who want to remind you: “It’s not about you.”

You’re perpetuating an “us versus them” mentality with this gloating. That does our cause of defending our republic and all our freedoms and opportunities no good. Are we not on the same side, standing firm on all platform planks that empower the people instead of growing government? The people you’re mocking comprise the base of your own party, remember? To paraphrase the great Ronald Reagan: Rein it in and humbly learn how much we can accomplish together for America when we don’t care who gets the credit.

Bottom line: Politicos, more friends are needed leading up to the general election. Poking potential friends in the eye doesn’t earn the allies needed to win.

Beltway politicians and Pundits live in a bubble.  They have disassociated themselves from the common people.  The two times the Beltway Elite Republicans actually seem to pay attention to the wishes of Americans in the Heartland is when we melt the Congressional Phone Lines down and threaten their well-paying jobs…and, come Election Time. 

That’s why the rise of the Tea Party movement and America’s return to Conservatism, which resulted in the political massacre known as the Midterm Elections, was such a surprise to them.  In their self-imposed isolation, they actually thought that the America people wanted them to continue their deal-making, soul-selling, business-as-usual politics.

Now, Republicans are scrambling, trying to figure out how to appease an angry electorate and keep their cushy jobs, in the face of their mishandling of the catastrophe known as Obamacare and their support in the push for Amnesty for Illegal Aliens.  

The US Chamber of Commerce is one of the key players in the Vichy Republicans’ push for Amnesty.

Hence, the Crony Capitalist-funded victorious state campaigns of the before-mentioned Republican Acolytes.

Hey…somebody’s got to “pick de cotton”.

Pundits are trying to give the GOP Establishment all the cover they can, while offering criticism in columns specifically written as to not cost the pundit their place on the Broadcast television networks’ Sunday morning shows or to cause them to be left off the invitation list for all the cool Beltway cocktail parties, and noew, specifically designed to discourage and disassemble the TEA Party Movement.

In summation, as Former Governor Palin pointed out, there is still an us and them mentality in the Beltway, among the resurgent Republican Party. 

Even with these Primary Victories, if the Republicans don’t legislate as Conservatives, and ignore the message sent to them by American voters on November 2nd, 2010, it won’t matter if the Pundits praise them or criticize them, they will be out of a job.

After all, there is much more to America than just the Beltway.  And there are a lot more American voters than there are ” Severely Conservative” Politicians and Pundits.

America is in Crisis? The Devil You Say.

Satan StatueWithin the last week, two stories about the Lightbearer have been in the public eye.

No, I’m not talking about President Obama, I am talking about the original Lightbearer, the fallen angel Lucifer, better known as Satan, or, in colloquial terms, the Devil.

Here is story #1, as reported by foxnews.com:

A satanic group commissioned a statue of the devil, raising money to pay a sculptor who it won’t identify, as a way of protesting the Sooner State’s placement of a Ten Commandments monument on the Statehouse lawn in Oklahoma City. The statue, being sculpted in a New York studio, is nearly complete, according to Lucien Greaves, spokesman for the Satanic Temple.

“We’re really coming along fast,” said Greaves, whose group claims to have raised more than $20,000 for the project through an online crowd-funding site.

“There will never be a satanic monument on the grounds of the Oklahoma State Capitol and the suggestion that there might be is absurd.”

The statue of the Baphomet, or Sabbatic Goat, a figure that has been used to represent Satan for centuries, is to be made of bronze, poured over a clay mold. Images provided to FoxNews.com show the hideous figure on a throne, with smiling children at each knee. Greaves’ organization seeks to force Oklahoma to allow placement of their statue or demonstrate what it considers an unconstitutional double standard.

Oklahoma officials say there is no way in hell that a statue of Satan will ever assume a position at the Capitol.

“There will never be a satanic monument on the grounds of the Oklahoma State Capitol and the suggestion that there might be is absurd,” Alex Weintz, spokesman for Gov. Mary Fallin, said in a statement to FoxNews.com.

Pictures of the partially-completed monument were first posted on Vice.

The Satanic Temple hatched the plan last December after the Ten Commandments monument, presented as a gift from state Rep. Mike Ritze, was placed on the lawn. Because it was a donation, state officials declared that it was permissible to place it on state property. But that prompted Greaves and the Satanic Temple to say they could do the same with a monument of their own.

“When we reach out to them and told them of our intentions, the response we got was asking for the design sketches but we never heard back from them,” Greaves said. “As soon as we are ready, we will reach back out to them.”

And, here is story #2, also from foxnews.com:

A Harvard University student club set to host a satanic black mass reenactment to celebrate witchcraft and satanic worship announced on its website that it will not use a consecrated host during the event.

The Harvard Extension Cultural Studies Club has organized a May 12 black mass reenactment at the Queen’s Head Pub, which is on campus. The announcement has drawn criticism because these masses typically mock Catholic teachings, MyFoxBoston.com reported.

“Our purpose is not to denigrate any religion or faith, which would be repugnant to our educational purposes, but instead learn and experience the history of different cultural practices,” the club’s statement said. The statement went on to say that the mass will use a piece of bread but will “unequivocally” not use a consecrated host.

The performance will be conducted by The Satanic Temple, a group known to stir up controversy.

The Archdiocese of Boston fired back with this response, “The Catholic community in the Archdiocese of Boston expresses its deep sadness and strong opposition to the plan to stage a black mass on the campus of Harvard University in Cambridge.”

“In a recent statement, Pope Francis warned of the danger of being naïve about or underestimating the power of Satan, whose evil is too often tragically present in our midst. We call upon all believers and people of good will to join us in prayer for those who are involved in this event, that they may come to appreciate the gravity of their actions, and in asking Harvard to disassociate itself from this activity,” the statement said.

The Harvard Extension School says the school “Does not endorse the views or activities of any independent student organization. But we do support the rights of our students and faculty to speak and assemble freely.”

 

So, why are these stories concerning Satan of so much national interest.

The fact of the matter is that 77 percent of Americans proclaim Christ as their personal Savior. So, therefore, if you believe in Christ you also believe that Satan, the living persona of evil in the world, also exists.

The problem we face, in this “Me First! Era”, is the fact that self-adulation narcissism, believing that you, yourself, are your own Creator, leaves an open doorway for “Ol’ Scratch” to move right on in to your life.

Since 2012, a statue of the Ten Commandments has graced the lawn outside the Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City. Now, it’s time for Satan to take his place, there too.

A group from New York called the Satanic Temple has raised more than $28,000 on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo to commission a bronze statue of Lucifer, the design of which has recently been released to the public. While many of the project’s backers are Satanists — as in, they worship Satan — the piece is actually intended to make a broader point: That a statue of the Ten Commandments on public property seems to violate the establishment clause of the First Amendment, which separates church and state. (This view is also held by the ACLU, which is challenging the Oklahoma government’s right to display the Ten Commandments.)

Lucien Greaves, a spokesman for the Satanic Temple, told ABC News that the Satanic piece of art — complete with pentagram and goat head — will “celebrate our progress as a pluralistic nation founded on secular law.”

In truth, the line separating the majority religion of the United States and the government has long been blurred. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court found that the town of Greece, New York could open its town meetings with prayers from guest preachers — the vast majority of whom were Christian, and often directly invoked Jesus Christ.

That’s precisely why this is such a brilliant idea, perhaps even moreso than your standard-issue civil liberties lawsuit. A statue of Satan displayed on public property would no doubt offend Christians. But in a country without a state religion, that shouldn’t matter, and Greaves and his ilk are right to point that out.

If Oklahoma’s Capitol Preservation Committee – which issues permits for statues on the Capitol ground – feels that a statue of the Ten Commandments on public grounds is compatible with a Constitution that protects the rights of all Americans, then the group shouldn’t have any issue with a statue of Satan, either. But if, as I suspect, the horned deity gives Oklahoma officials the heebie-jeebees, they should think about how their current statue looks to Satanists. Or, for that matter, to Buddhists, Hindus, atheists, or Christians who see the separation of church and state as a deeply important tenet of American democracy.

People like this idiot, who take the existence Satan lightly, eventually wind up in some sort of trouble, and those who worship Satan wind up in even greater trouble.

Back in the 1960s, the late, beautiful actress Jayne Mansfield posed for a series of publicity pictures with the Head Priest of the Church of Satan, Anton LaVey. The pictures showing her with LaVey, included several shots of taking their version of Communion, simulating drinking blood from a goblet, offered by the priest. She even wore a pink and black medallion of Satan and the goat-headed Baphomet, simular to the Oklahoma statue, to the 1966 San Francisco Film Festival. Later, the beautiful actress died in a freak car accident in which she was decapitated.

Now, far be it for me the link one to the other. That is up for you to decide for yourself.

Now, how can I claim that all this upheaval our nation is facing is due to some sort of Satanic Influence attempting to tip the scales in the in the fight between Good and Evil, across our land?

Noah Webster (EVOLUTIONARY SOLDIER; JUDGE; LEGISLATOR; EDUCATOR; “SCHOOLMASTER TO AMERICA”), wrote

[O]ur citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament, or the Christian religion.

[T]he Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children under a free government ought to be instructed. No truth is more evident than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.

The Bible is the chief moral cause of all that is good and the best corrector of all that is evil in human society – the best book for regulating the temporal concerns of men.

[T]he Christian religion… is the basis, or rather the source, of all genuine freedom in government… I am persuaded that no civil government of a republican form can exist and be durable in which the principles of Christianity have not a controlling influence.

The reason that our nation is facing the difficulties we are is the belief by those who proclaim themselves to be the “smartest people in the room”, that they are above the old-fashioned, passe notions of morality and ethics, good and evil, and the Sovereignty of God.

They have made a grave mistake.

Evil exists and these fools opened the door to Satan in our society a long time ago.

When it all comes crashing down around them, what are they going to say?

The Nigerian Kidnappings: President Pantywaist to the Rescue!

obamaputinHave you heard the news? In Alabama, a renegade function of Southern Baptist broke into a local madrasa, kidnapping almost 300 Muslim girls.

According to their spokesperson, Jethro Bodine, some of the girls have already been forced to participate in a Youth Retreat, and may be forced later to learn how to bake casseroles.

Oh, wait. I got the details of the story wrong, didn’t I?

Actually, it happened in Nigeria, and it was not a group of Southern Baptists who kidnapped a bunch of Muslim girls. It was a Muslim Terrorist Faction who kidnapped nearly 300 Christian girls. Some of these girls have already been sold as slaves and some pushed into forced marriages.

USA Today reports that

World pressure on Nigeria is mounting over its slow reaction and failure to rescue hundreds of schoolgirls kidnapped by terrorists in a remote part of the country.

Tuesday, President Obama called the abductions “outrageous” and “heartbreaking” and said Nigeria has agreed to accept U.S. law enforcement and military assistance.

“We’ve already sent in a team to Nigeria. They’ve accepted our help through a combination of military, law enforcement and other agencies who are going in, trying to identify where in fact these girls might be and provide them help,” Obama told ABC News.

Distraught parents of the stolen children have charged that officials stalled on action to free them, and international condemnation has grown amid protests in major cities. Demands for action have increased on social media, especially through the Twitter hashtag #BringBackOurGirls.

More than 300 girls were abducted. Of that number, 276 remain in captivity and 53 escaped. Tuesday, an additional eight girls were abducted from a village near a terrorist stronghold in the area.

The schoolgirls have been held for three weeks by the Muslim terrorist organization Boko Haram, which has killed thousands of Christians and Muslims in an attempt to bring strict Islamic law to all of Nigeria. It declared plans to sell the girls or have them married to its members.

“We’ve always identified them as one of the worst local or regional terrorist organizations there is out there,” Obama told NBC News. “And I can only imagine what the parents are going through.”

U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called the kidnappings an “unthinkable tragedy” and “an offense to the conscience of the world.”

“The threat by Boko Haram’s leader to sell them in the marketplace reflects the utter absence of humanity,” Pelosi said.

Protesters have begged for international help, and some Nigerians blame their government.

“The government cannot sit back and watch how these little girls suffer. Their families are traumatized,” said Nigerian Sen. Ali Ndume, who represents the region. “The government needs to do something extra, even if seeking external support, to ensure these girls are rescued.”

So, United States President Barack Hussein Obama finally came out condemning the actions of the Islamic Barbarians and will be sending law enforcement  and “military consultants”, not “boots on the ground”, to assist with the problem.

Because, after all, jihad does not mean “Holy War” in Islam, it means kidnapping…or something.

#BringBackOurGirls will be more effective than Obama’s paltry efforts in this matter.

The absurd scenario that I began today’s blog with, was my attempt to ridicule Liberals’ false equivalency of the “Religion of Peace” and the worship of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whose followers, of which I am an unapologetic and Blessed member, are daily marginalized and insulted under the leadership of our first anti-American President, even though 77% of Americans proclaim Christ as their Personal Savior..

Even as I sit here dictating this into my android phone, Christians are being murdered in Nigeria, Sudan, and throughout the Middle East, for no other reason than the fact that the Muslim Holy Book, the Koran, instructs the faithful to kill the infidels.

This lightweight response by the Leader of the Free World sums up Obama’s abysmal Smart Power! Foreign Policy to a tee:

“Confront Muslim Barbarism with a wussy response. Treat Muslim Terrorism as a “Law Enforcement Matter”, not a Jihad against the non-Muslim Free World.”

One of America’s greatest allies, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, once wrote

The Liberals’ moral equivalency between Christianity and Islam is a perilous tightrope to place American lives upon. 

While fighting an enemy who prizes strength and barbarism, we’re being lead by a Commander-in-Chief who wears a bicycle helmet and Mom’s jeans.

Obama would not save the lives of four brave Americans, including our Ambassador, on the grounds of our Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012. Why has he picked this time to get involved in the rescue of these kidnapped girls in Nigeria?

Why Obama is Still Wasting OUR Money on “the Fight Against Climate Change (Global Warming)”

climate changeHave you ever wondered why President Barack Hussein Obama is still so preoccupied with Global Warming/Climate Change?

I mean, how arrogant do you have to be to believe that you can make a change in the very weather itself, which is controlled by Someone way above your pay grade?

This faux science, invented by Al Gore, and propagandized in the book and the movie, “An Inconvenient Truth”, has become an industry, a failed one, but an industry none the less.

Ranging from washouts like Solyndra to GreenTech Automotive, millions of taxpayer dollars have been sunk into these so-called green projects, since the advent of the Obama administration.

Now, word comes that Obama is going to meet with climatologists, in an effort to fight “Climate Change”.

Obama doesn’t even have a decent jump shot. How can he control the Earth’s Weather?

Have you ever wondered why Obama has been so gung-ho about Global Warming/Climate Change in the first place?

Well, we can trace Obama’s  concern back to his days in Chicago, as I wrote about in the blog, “Psst. Bud. You Want to Buy Some Air?”, posted on 4/29/10:

It all began with the Joyce Foundation.  This foundation started as the financial back-up plan of a widow whose family had made millions in the lumber industry.

After her death, it was run by philanthropic people who increasingly dedicated their giving to Liberal causes, including gun control, environmentalism and school changes.  It has grown over the years until it is now bigger than the TIDES Foundation and actually funds it.

The Joyce Foundation in 2000 and 2001 provided the capitol outlay to start the Chicago Climate Exchange. It started trading in 2003, and what it trades is, believe it or not, air.

The Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) is proud to let everyone know that it is “North America’s only cap-and-trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide.” Barack Obama served on the board of the Joyce Foundation from 1994 to 2002 . What a coincidence, that, as president, pushing cap-and-trade is one of his highest priorities, huh?

Currently, CCX members are legally bound together by a  voluntaryagreement to regulate greenhouse gases.

The CCX provides the vehicle by which to trade the very pollution permits and carbon offsets that would be  imposed by government mandate through the administration’s cap-and-trade proposals .

Climate trading could be a $10 trillion dollar market if cap-and-trade measures like Waxman-Markey and Kerry-Boxer are signed into law.  These measures will make energy prices go through the roof, even as companies buy and sell permits for permission to emit those six “greenhouse” gases (like paying for forgiveness of your sins).

Founders of the CCX include former Vice-President of the United States Al Gore.  Gore is co-founder of Generation Investment Management, which sells carbon offsets of no value whatsoever.  These offsets allow rich polluters to continue to pollute with a clear conscience (go and sin no more, wink, wink).  Other founders include former Goldman Sachs partner David Blood, as well as Mark Ferguson and Peter Harris, also of Goldman Sachs.

In 2006, CCX received a big boost when another investor bought a 10% stake on the prospect of untold riches. That investor was (ta daaah) Goldman Sachs, currently in the spotlight for selling financial instruments it knew never had the chance of a snowball in July of succeeding.

The actual mechanism that enabled trading on the exchange was bought and patented by none other than Franklin Raines, who was CEO of Fannie Mae at the time.

Raines struck it rich to the tune of some $90 million by buying and bundling bad mortgages that led to the horrible economy that we are still dealing with.  Why would a mortgage guy be interested in Climate Change?  Simple.   Cap-and-trade will make housing costs go up, too.

Goldman and Sachs, who gave around $1,000,000 to Obama’s Presidential Campaign, is under investigation by the SEC and in the midst of an inquisition by the U.S. Senate, as I alluded to previously.  Why are they putting up with this abuse when the Democrats themselves are the ones who have benefited the most from the political benevolence  of Wall Street in the past?

Answer:  money and power.  Goldman Sachs is going along with this dog and pony show because of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  If Cap and Trade is passed, they and the rest of the investors that comprise the Chicago Climate Exchange are going to be swimming in a moat of money.

President Barack Hussein Obama was also one of those Board Members of the Joyce Foundation, who helped to found the CCX to the tune of $1,100,000.

If we follow the time line on where Obama was during the funding of the Chicago Climate Exchange, he was still a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School teaching constitutional law, with his law license becoming inactive a year later in 2002.

It may be interesting to note that the Chicago Climate Exchange in spite of its hype, is a veritable rat’s nest of cronyism. The largest shareholder in the Exchange is Goldman Sachs. Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is its honorary chairman, The Joyce Foundation, which funded the Exchange also funded money for John Ayers’ Chicago School Initiatives. John is the brother of William Ayers.

What a flap when it was discovered that the senator from Chicago had nursed on Saul Alinsky’s milk, had his political career launched at a coffee party held by domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, and sat for 20 years, uncomplaining in front of the “God-dam-America pulpit of resentment-challenged Jeremiah Wright.

Folk were naturally outraged that the empty suit who would go on to become TOTUS was spawned from such anti-American activism.

But the media should have been hollering, “Stop Thief!” instead.

The same Chicago Climate Exchange promoting public rip-off was funded by Obama before he was POTUS.

Even as man-made global warming is being exposed as a money-generating hoax, Obama is working feverishly to push the controversial cap-and-trade carbon reduction scheme through Congress.

Fortunately for our nation, Obama’s Cap and Trade Bill failed to leave the Senate in July of 2010, leading the Chicago Climate Exchange closed up shop in November of 2010.

So, why is Obama still on this Quixotic Crusade?

1.  Appeasing the Gullible -Hey “The Facts Are In.” The “science” is true. And, as P.T. Barnum said,

There is a sucker born every minute.

Remember…these “true believers of the Goreacle, also voted for Obama. They are easily fooled.

2. Money, Money, Money – Too much money invested by Democrat “Power Brokers” and to much of American Taxpayers money spent needlessly to back down now. Obama’s got political promises to keep.

3. Hey, look! Squirrel! – With Obama and his minions about to get a Proctological Exam by the Congressional Select Committee on Benghazi, Obama needs to grasp for whatever national distraction he can come up with.

So, there you go. I wonder what argument Obama is going to present to those climatologists he is meeting with? 

Perhaps, he will present a showing of “The Day After Tomorrow”, the movie starring Dennis Quaid, which bombed spectacularly, in which the ice was chasing everybody.

Obama Launches Into Vicious Diatribe Against Enemies at WH Correspondents Dinner. Minions Laugh.

ObamaminionsOn Saturday Night, the President of the United States of America, delivered what was supposed to be  a comedy monologue at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner.

While Presidents, in years past, relied on self-depreciating humor to entertain their audiences, instead, Obama launched into a vicious diatribe against “all his enemies”, much to the delight of the 250 mindless minions in attendance.

…A lot of us really are concerned about the way that money is influencing our politics. I remember when a super pack with me was buying Marlboro 100s instead of regulars. [Laughter] Of course, now that it is 2014, Washington is obsessed on the midterms. Folks are saying that with my sagging poll numbers, my fellow democrats don’t really want me campaigning with them. I don’t think that is true, although I did notice the other day that Sasha needed a speaker at career day and she invited Bill Clinton. [Laughter] I was a little hurt by that.

Both sides are doing whatever it takes to win. The ruthless game. Republicans — this is a true story. Republicans actually brought in a group consultant to teach their candidates how to speak to women. This is true. I don’t know if it’ll work for women, but I understand America’s teenage boys are signing up to run for the Senate in droves. [Laughter] [applause]

Anyway, while you guys focus on the horse race, I’m going to do what I do. I will be focused on everyday Americans. Just yesterday I read a heartbreaking letter. I get letters from folks around the country every day. I get 10 that I read. This one got me. A Virginia man who’s been stuck in the same part-time job for years. No respect from his boss. There was no chance to get ahead. I really wish Eric Cantor would stop writing me. You can just pick up the phone, Eric. [Laughter] [applause]

I am feeling sorry, believe it and not, for the Speaker of the House. These days, the House Republicans give John Boehner a harder time than they give me. Which means orange really is the new black. [Laughter] [applause]

But I have not given up the idea of working with Congress. In fact, two weeks ago, Senator Ted Cruz and I, we got a bill done together and I have to say the signing ceremony was something special. We got a picture of it I think. [Laughter]

Look, I know. Washington seems more dysfunctional than ever. Gridlock has gotten so bad in this town, you have to wonder what did we do to piss off Chris Christie so bad? [Laughter]

One issue, for example, we haven’t been able to agree on is unemployment insurance. Republicans continue to refuse to extend it. You know what, I am beginning to think they have a point. If you don’t want to get paid while not working, you should have to run for Congress just like everybody else. [Laughter] [applause]

There is one thing that keeps Republicans busy. They have tried more than 50 times to repeal Obamacare. Despite that, 8 million people signed up for healthcare in the first open enrollment. [Applause] Which does lead one to ask, how well does Obamacare have to work before you don’t want to repeal it? What if everyone’s cholesterol drops to 120? What if your yearly checkup came with tickets to a Clippers’ game? Not the old Donald Sterling Clippers, the new Oprah Clippers. What if it gave Mitch McConnell a pulse? What is it going to take?

Anyway, this year I have promised to use more executive actions to get things done without Congress. My critics call this the imperial presidency. Truth is I just show up every day at my office and do my job. We have a picture of this, I think? [Laughter] [applause]

You would think they would appreciate a more assertive approach, considering that the new conservative darling is non other than Vladimir Putin. Last year, Pat Buchanan said Putin’s headed straight for the Nobel Peace Prize. He said this. Now I know it sounds crazy but to be fair they give those to just about anybody these days. It could happen. [Laughter] [applause]

So, this jack wagon thinks that a Communist Despot is OUR  hero?

Barack Hussein Obama is an embarrassment to our country. His Domestic Policies have failed. His Foreign Policy is a joke.

Obama’s failure at Foreign Policy has led to the entire Middle East being consumed by the Bonfire of The Vanities, known as “Arab Spring” in which Moderate Muslims dictators were replaced by Radical Muslim Dictators.

Additionally, during this Arab Spring, on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on American soil in history, 4 brave American,s including our ambassador, were slaughtered at the US Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya.

No effort to save them that night was made by the Obama administration.

And, the “Leader of the Free World”, blamed a Youtube Video for “stirring up” “peaceful Muslims”.

Now, finally, the chickens are coming home to roost, concerning this atrocity.

Since then, Obama has made threats and has drawn red lines in the desert sand in an attempt to show the world that he is a powerful leader.

Unfortunately for our safety as nation, Obama’s Fantasyland view of the world, which is not unlike the old Coca Cola Advertisement where everyone had a Coke and a smile, set him up to be a disastrous failure at Foreign Policy.

A failure which finds our enemies in Iran still working on a nuclear bomb and Russian Leader Vladimir Putin beginning the process of annexing surrounding countries and rebuilding the old Soviet Union, which was dissolved thanks to the efforts of a real leader and American President, Ronald Reagan.

The popular defense, as you read earlier, being thrown against the wall to see if it sticks by both Obama and his sycophants on behalf of Obama’s failed Foreign Policy, is to attack those who are critical of it, by claiming that we are rooting for the Russian Leader, Vladimir Putin .

In fact, the opposite is true.

We are Americans. We love our country. We cherish our freedom.

As we see our own freedom slipping away through the actions of a failed president and his willing minions, we are sympathetic to Ukraine and the other former Soviet Bloc nations, who are presently under the threat of having their freedom taken from them.

We are critical of this president and his failed Foreign Policy because it is costing these nations their freedom, just as his Domestic Policy is in the process of costing us our own.

The War Against Christianity: Is American Beyond Redemption?

American FreedomHas the moral and ethical fiber of the greatest country on the face of God’s Green Earth, been irrevocably ripped apart? Should we all start preparing for another Biblical Flood, as in the days of Noah (the real one…not the politically-correct, ecological one)?

Is mankind evolving into a more peaceful and prosperous people – or are we on a path toward ever-increasing moral depravity, social chaos and destruction?

Answering that dichotomy depends on one’s worldview, but Christian author Jeff Kinley is in the latter camp, telling TheBlaze that he sees human beings continuously and perilously cutting God out of society.

“I look around my world and I think, ‘Wow, we’ve written God out of our own story here,’” Kinley recently said in an interview. “We’re content in living in our own lives.”

The author, who believes Noah, the flood and the ark unfolded as the Bible recounts, draws parallels between contemporary culture and the “pandemic godlessness of the earth” during Noah’s in his new book “As It Was in the Days of Noah.”

Human behavior then and now, he posits, isn’t all that different.

“Humanity had forgotten God so literally every man just did what they thought was right in their own eyes,” Kinley said of the days of Noah.

As for the current conditions, the author described what he sees as “pandemic unrestrained immorality” and “a falling away of the purity of faith.”

Kinley proceeded to describe how society’s current treatment of God mirrors the Bible’s depiction of the “end times” – a time-frame in Christian theology that precedes the Earth’s end.

While he said it’s impossible to judge when the end times might unfold, Kinley described the current conditions as matching those presented in the Bible, citing Matthew 24, among other references.

“As we ramp up to the end times, there’s going to be, as Romans 1 describes, a simmering hostility against God, against biblical morality,” Kinley told TheBlaze.

Kinley repeatedly spoke against the removal of God from society, saying that it leaves mankind to his own devices, creating a horizontal rather than vertical morality – one in which there is a “sliding scale of morality.”

Citing gay marriage, which is now legal for the first time “perhaps since the days of Noah itself,” Kinley said that human beings are creating new ways of doing things based on shifting standards.

The author also mentioned Israel’s reemergence as a prophetic sign as well.

So, is America beyond Redemption?

It troubles me to no end that, even though I know, in my heart of hearts, that there are plenty of average Americans who are just as upset over the dilapidated moral and fiscal condition of “the shining city on a hill” as I am, there are times when I feel like the little Dutch boy, with his finger in the dike, desperately trying to hold back the flood waters, which are about to destroy everything in its path.

I know that civilizations come and go. I am a student of history, and I have read about the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Their incredibly advanced governmental, military, and architectural legacy was eclipsed by situational ethics, immorality. and governmental corruption, caused by enemies foreign and domestic.

Sound familiar?

The United States of America has been one of the most noble undertakings in the history of mankind.

Our Founding Fathers came here to escape religious persecution. Not to get away from religion , as both Liberals, and their unwitting dupes, attempt to claim as truth.

John Adams, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and Second President of the United States said..

It is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue.

…We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. . . . Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Benjamin Franklin, signer of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, said…

Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.

I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings, that “except the Lord build the House, they labor in vain that build it.” I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better, than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and bye word down to future ages. Thomas Jefferson, signer of the Declaration of Independence and Third President of the United States, said…

Give up money, give up fame, give up science, give the earth itself and all it contains rather than do an immoral act. And never suppose that in any possible situation, or under any circumstances, it is best for you to do a dishonorable thing, however slightly so it may appear to you. So, how did we get to where we are?

Today 78% of Americans still believe that Jesus Christ is their personal Savior. You wouldn’t know that fact from exposure to our American Media, nor from following the anti-Christian actions of our present Administration.

The problem though, is the fact that man is a fallen creature. There was only one Perfect Man. We all fall short of the Glory of God.

There will be no escape for America from this downward spiral we find ourselves in, without Revival in the Land.

Just as addicts, going through the 12-step program, are told to reach out for spiritual help, so should we, as a sovereign nation, bought with the sweat and blood of our fallen, who fought for an ideal much greater than themselves, so that this Blessed Land, UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all, should not perish from the face of God’s green Earth, seek the help of the God of our Fathers, to reclaim The Promise that is America.
