Fired SDNY U.S. Atty Berman to Appear Before Nadler’s Judicial Committee, Is Nadler Trying to Get Out in Front of the Durham Report?

“We cannot rely on an election to solve our problems, when the president threatens the very integrity of that election,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y.

FoxNews.com reports that

Former Southern District of New York U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman will testify next week before the House Judiciary committee in a closed door hearing – just weeks after President Trump fired him.

Berman will appear before the Democrat-led House committee next Thursday, Fox News is told.

Attorney General William Barr informed Berman late last month that he was fired from his post as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York.

At the time, Barr said he asked Trump to fire Berman after the Manhattan federal prosecutor said Friday he planned to stay on the job against the Trump Administration’s wishes.

“Unfortunately, with your statement of last night, you have chosen public spectacle over public service,” Barr said in the letter. “Because you have declared that you have no intention of resigning, I have asked the President to remove you as of today, and he has done so.”

Barr said Deputy U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss was appointed to take over until a permanent successor is in place.

Berman’s appearance next week will be the latest event in a highly publicized feud between the former U.S. attorney and the Trump administration.

Barr and the White House announced in June that Trump will nominate Jay Clayton, the current chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), to replace Berman. But Berman, whose office has been a thorn in Trump’s side, said he learned of his “departure” from Barr’s press release and had no intention of leaving the job.

Barr initially said the U.S. attorney in New Jersey, Craig Carpenito, would take over on an acting basis beginning July 3 until Jay Clayton’s SEC confirmation. But Barr switched gears afterwards by announcing Strauss would manage the SDNY in the interim.

Democrats accused the Trump administration of trying to shut down Berman, who is leading investigations into the president’s allies.

“The president has doubled down on his fixer’s obstruction of investigations into him and his allies,” said Rep. Val Demings, D-Fla., a contender to be Joe Biden’s vice-presidential pick. “It is clear that nothing will restrain his corruption. No one is above the law. The American people will have their say.”

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., who helped prosecute the Trump impeachment case before the Senate, announced his committee will launch an investigation into Berman’s ouster, saying it “smacks of corruption and incompetence.”

The Southern District has prosecuted a number of Trump associates, including the president’s former personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, who served a prison sentence for lying to Congress and campaign finance crimes. The office has also been investigating Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s business dealings, including whether he failed to register as a foreign agent, people familiar with the probe told The Associated Press.

Berman has also overseen the prosecution of two Florida businessmen, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, who were associates of Giuliani and tied to the Ukraine impeachment investigation. The men were charged in October with federal campaign finance violations, including hiding the origin of a $325,000 donation to a group supporting Trump’s reelection.

Former Trump national security adviser John Bolton said that Trump sought to interfere in a Southern District investigation into the Turkish Halkbank in an effort to cut deals with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Congressman Jerry Nadler absolutely despises President Trump.

For those of you who do not know how the roots of this hatred…

It began in 1985, when Nadler was a New York State assemblyman. The (Washington) Post reported that Trump, at the time, purchased property in Nadler’s district and wanted to build a development, which he reportedly wanted to call “Television City.” But Nadler wanted the property, which was a former railroad yard, to be upgraded instead. Nadler reportedly blocked Trump from public funds and mortgage insurance.

Trump ultimately began construction on the property and worked to develop residential buildings, but in 2005, after construction delays and pushback from lawmakers, Trump reportedly sold the property for $1.8 billion.

As far as the firing of Berman is concerned…

The Southern District of New York Prosecutor’s Office has been a Democratic Party stronghold for some time now.

The DOJ’s Southern District of New York Office has been the stomping grounds of several of those involved in the failed “Russia Probe” attempt to oust President Trump from office, including Former FBI Director Comey, FBI IG Horowitz, Mueller Investigator Andrew Weissman, Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance, Jr, and Daniel Goldman, who appeared as an attorney for the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee Impeachment Inquiry Hearing.

All of them either worked in that office or had judicial standing in that district.

And, of course, they are the ones who prosecuted and convicted Roger Stone.

Isn’t it interesting that soon after Berman was fired, Ghislaine Maxwell, the girlfriend of the late, unlamented Jeffrey Epstein what finally arrested IN New Hampshire?

And, wouldn’t it be absolutely fascinating if, among the information which will be revealed when the final report is made public of U.S. Attorney John Durham’s inquiry into the Russia Investigation found a corrupt Deep State Operation within the SDNY which tied directly in to the Obama Department of Justice?

Nadler’s obsession could boomerang on him and the rest of the Democrat Elite.

Stay tuned.

Things could be getting very interesting in the very near future.

The Reality of the “Lawless and Brutal” Seattle CHOP Zone’s End Exposes the MSM’s Spin of “a Fun Time With Free Snacks”

spd.jpeg (2)

FoxNews.com reports that

As protesters and armed anarchists seized control last month of a swath of Seattle’s downtown that includes a police station, dubbing it Capitol Hill Organized Protest, the local and mainstream media largely echoed elected leaders by insisting it was a peaceful protest – until people started getting killed.

The spin by the Seattle Times and national outlets that covered it belied the violent and dangerous origin of the area that began on June 8, when Seattle police abandoned their own station and allowed self-described anarchists to create a “police-free” zone. On Wednesday, police went back in and finished clearing out the area, after multiple shootings, an alleged rape and at least two murders.

“CHOP violently seized six blocks of downtown Seattle, guarded the area they stole with semi-automatic rifles and appointed a leader who called himself a warlord and the media spun it as a fun time with ‘free snacks,’” Washington Times columnist Tim Young told Fox News.

“That’s as insane as saying Boko Haram was just trying to start a dating service when they kidnapped nearly 300 women in Nigeria a few years ago,” Young added. “And those liberal outlets probably still can’t figure out why people call them fake news.”

Since it was established, there have been at least four shootings, two of which left a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old dead in separate incidents. Seattle police made more than a dozen arrests after Mayor Jenny Durkan declared the gathering an unlawful assembly – a far cry from how it was originally portrayed by the media and by Durkan herself.

The mayor responded to criticism of her leadership by President Trump by tweeting that he should not be “so afraid of democracy.”

“The CHOP has become lawless and brutal,” Police Chief Carmen Best said Wednesday in a written statement. “Four shootings – two fatal – robberies, assaults, violence and countless property crimes have occurred in this several block area.”

The Seattle Times was perhaps the most egregious when it came to celebrating the cop-free area. The paper boasted about free snacks and pleasant smells inside the zone, called CHAZ at the time, on June 10.

“Free snacks at the No-Cop Co-op. Free gas masks from some guy’s sedan. Free speech at the speaker’s circle, where anyone could say their piece. A free documentary movie – Ava DuVernay’s “13th” – showing after dark,” Seattle Times reporter Evan Bush wrote. “Perhaps most important to demonstrators, the neighborhood core was free of uniformed police.”

Bush described the area as “Seattle’s quirky, lefty Capitol Hill,” noting that organizers “envisioned education initiatives, programs to address homelessness and building a community movement where unarmed police are designed to de-escalate.”

The Seattle Times even reported on the delightful odor the “calm and peaceful crowd” were providing residents.

“The streets smelled like the Fourth of July, as people seared hot dogs on curbside grills,” Bush wrote.

The following day, the Seattle Times focused on poets and artists performing inside the area, noting that despite the “festival-like atmosphere” gatherers are often reminded they’re protesting, not partying.

By June 13, Seattle Times business reporter Paul Roberts praised the “community garden” and ways the demonstrators could “advance the goals” of the city’s “newest tourist attraction.”

“Dozens of people with rakes and wheelbarrows spread topsoil and chicken manure in newly planted gardens,” Roberts wrote. “Others gathered in small groups to discuss plans for no-till farming and fundraising for medical supplies.”

And, of course, the National Main Stream Media followed suit.

“When the shooting and killing started, they (the MSM) tried to cover it up. They refused to report on the black teen who was shot and killed in the zone last Saturday. And there was no mention of the Sunday or Tuesday shooting at any point during the week. It was those shootings that were the impetus for the businesses and residents to band together and sue the city for not protecting their rights and property.” – Nicholas Fondacaro, Media Research Center

Those anarchists might still be the center of Seattle if it wasn’t for the behavior of Seattle City Council Member Kshama Sawant, a self-described socialist.

According to Mayor Jenny Durkan after hours and without following coronavirus health guidelines, Concilwoman Sawant marched protesters to the mayor’s home and encouraged protesters to occupy the city’s East Precinct.

Sawant allegedly led a crowd of protesters to Durkan’s home and delivered a speech outside last weekend.

You see, gentle readers, Far Left Democrat Politicians are fine with anarchists destroying American citizens’ private property…as long as it isn’t theirs.

Just as the Soviet Union’s Politboro lived in luxury while the Proletariat, or working class, lived in poverty, so would the Far Left Democrat Politicians live if their dream of a Democratic Socialist Utopia ever became reality.

Just as the Soviet Union disseminated propaganda describing what a wealthy country they were, while their people were suffering to the point where they could not even buy decent toilet paper…so the Far Left Democrats and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, lied about what was going in in Seattle’s “CHOP”.

Vladimir Lenin said,

The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses.

He would be proud of what we as a nation are witnessing play out right in front of us.

Biden Defends His “Cognitive Ability”…”Can Hardly Wait” to Compare It to Trump’s…Be Careful What You Wish For, Sleepy Joe

Joe-Biden-6-30

FoxNews.com reports that

Joe Biden, at his first press conference in three months, defended his cognitive ability and said he “can hardly wait” to compare it to President Trump’s as the general election matchup heats up.

“I’ve been tested, I’m constantly tested,” Biden said in response to a question from Fox News’ Doug McKelway. “Look, all you’ve got to do is watch me and I can hardly wait to compare my cognitive capability to the cognitive capability of the man I’m running against.”

While Biden’s press conference in Delaware was ostensibly about how he would respond to the coronavirus pandemic, the former vice president also slammed the current White House occupant for his response to reports that Russian intelligence operatives offered to pay bounties to Taliban-linked militants who killed U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

Biden on Tuesday said it was unimaginable that Trump would not have known about the intelligence, and called into question the president’s cognitive abilities.

“The president talks about cognitive capability, but he is not cognitively aware of what’s going on,” Biden said, reversing a hit the president has used against him.

Biden also called on Congress to investigate the matter and, come Election Day, “for the public to decide whether he is fit for office.”

Trump, 74, and his campaign have come after Biden, 77, for his frequent gaffes, in May launching a faux “investigative” series that spotlights his numerous verbal miscues on the campaign trail.

“The American people deserve to know the truth behind Joe Biden’s delirious and nonsensical claims on the campaign trail,” Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said in the video. “When he’s mangling the text of the Declaration of Independence or calling someone a ‘lying, dog-faced pony soldier,’ is he really speaking a language that only he and a select group of others understand?”

Biden, though, opened up in February about his lifelong struggle to overcome stuttering, and his defenders have argued that this sometimes may be a factor in his widely publicized history of stumbling words.

Trump has had his own fair share of verbal miscues, embellished statements and Twitter typos.

Biden, who Trump has famously labeled “Sleepy Joe,” said in a May interview with Vanity Fair, “I can hardly wait to get onto the stage with Donald Trump,” adding “Trump is a master at laying nicknames on people.”

The former vice president stressed that “in terms of energy … I don’t have any problem comparing my energy level to Donald Trump who I’m really resisting giving a nickname to.”

Sure, Joe. Whatever you say.

However, you have a “yuge” problem.

Nearly four-out-of-10 voters believe Joe Biden has dementia. Most voters, including just over half of Democrats, feel it is important for the likely Democratic presidential nominee to publicly address the issue.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 38% of Likely U.S. Voters think Biden is suffering from some form of dementia. Based on what they have seen and read, 48% disagree, but 14% are not sure.

On June 17th, Newsmax.com reported that

Fifty-five percent of likely voters believe presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee Joe Biden is in the early stages of dementia, according to a Zogby poll released Wednesday.

Sleepy Joe Biden is obviously not well.

That is why yesterday’s press conference was his first in 89 days.

His campaign team is trying to limit his public appearances in basically the same manner in which FDR’s Staff limited his public appearances.

In FDR’s case, it was because they did not want the public to see him in a wheelchair.

In Biden’s case, it is because they do not want American’s to confirm what they already know: the presumptive Democratic Party Presidential Candidate has dementia.

From calling someone a “do-faced pony soldier to facing the screen behind a stage instead of the crowd in front of it, Biden’s mental deficiencies have been obvious to the entire country.

I cannot see Dr. Jill Biden and his campaign staff allowing him to debate President Trump.

Biden would not be able to bully the president like his did the RINO, Paul Ryan, during the 2012 Vice-Presidential Debate.

It would not be pretty.

Remember when Professional Boxer Mike Tyson was in his prime, knocking opponents out within the first three rounds of every fight?

A Trump vs. Biden debate would be like that.

And, poor ol’ Joe would be left “stuttering” worse than ever.

But, go ahead, Joe….if you must.

Pride goeth before a fall.

Armed St. Louis Couple Facing Backlash for Defending Themselves and Their Home During BLM “March”

couple-stlouis

FoxNews.com reports that

A Missouri couple under fire for brandishing guns in the front yard of their home as protesters passed told police the group broke a gate to get onto the private street, and the pair say they only retrieved their firearms when they spotted “multiple” people who were already armed, department records show.

Al Watkins, an attorney for Mark McCloskey, 63, and his 61-year-old wife, Patricia, said the protest was largely peaceful and the pair did not bring their guns outside of the home until two men in particular, both of whom were white, started menacing them.

The McCloskeys, he said, were hesitant to come forward with the full story out of fear that they would “disparage the importance of Black Lives Matter.”

“At the time, their fear was, these people, two in particular, that were marching along with the Black Lives Matter protest participants – all peaceful. They were acting in a fashion inconsistent with the message being given,” Watkins said. “My clients were not arming themselves against peaceful protesters, they were arming themselves about people with a really bad motive, a motive that runs afoul of the fundamental tenets of our country.”

After the couple brought the guns outside, Watkins said, others began threatening them, unaware of the reason behind the couple’s interpreted need to arm themselves.

“My clients, though, had to deal with comments that were from two individuals that were perpetrating these acts of violence and, not charging, but coming toward them and doing so in a fashion that was threatening, menacing, and in a fashion inconsistent with the Black Lives Matter message.”

The pair called the St. Louis Police Department shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday. They told arriving officers that they had heard a “commotion” and, upon investigating further, “observed a large group of subjects forcefully break an iron gate marked with ‘No Trespassing’ and ‘Private Street’ signs.” according to an incident summary provided to Fox News by the department.

The police report does not identify the McCloskeys as the victims.

“Once through the gate, the victims advised the group that they were on a private street and trespassing and told them to leave,” the police summary further states. “The group began yelling obscenities and threats of harm to both victims. When the victims observed multiple subjects who were armed, they then armed themselves and contacted police.”

Based on the couple’s account, police labeled the incident a case of trespassing and assault by intimidation, according to the incident summary. No other police reports were filed that night, a department spokesperson told Fox News.

Mark McCloskey told KMOV-TV that a mob rushed toward the home as the family was having dinner and “put us in fear of our lives.”

“This is all private property. There are no public sidewalks or public streets,” McCloskey said. “We were told that we would be killed, our home burned and our dog killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob.”

Viral video posted to Twitter shows the McCloskeys, who are both attorneys, standing outside their Renaissance palazzo-style home in the city’s well-to-do Central West End neighborhood. He could be heard yelling while holding a long-barreled gun. His wife stood next to him with a handgun.

Watkins said the McCloskeys have each practiced law for more than 30 years have and “their practices have included, on an ongoing basis, representing individuals in pursuit of protection of their civil rights.”

“One hundred percent of my client’s clients in those cases have been people of color,” Watkins said.

Meanwhile, the protesters were reportedly marching toward Mayor Lyda Krewson’s home to demand her resignation.

The group of at least 500 people chanted, “Resign, Lyda! Take the cops with you!” news outlets reported.

Krewson has faced demands for her resignation after a Facebook Live briefing on Friday where the white mayor read the names of those wanting to defund the police force. The video was removed and Krewson apologized the same day, saying she didn’t intend to cause distress.

The names and letters are considered public records, but Krewson’s actions caused a heavy backlash.

Protesters nationwide have been pushing to “defund the police ” over the death of George Floyd and other Black people at the hands of law enforcement. Floyd, who was handcuffed, died May 25 after a white Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck for nearly eight minutes.

Well…isn’t that interesting.

Let me get this straight. The McCloskeys had defended “people of color” in civil rights cases for 30 years.

And, when they were threatened by a couple of punk rioters, they exercised their second Amendment Rights and protected themselves.

And now, they are being ostracized by those whom they have defended in courts of law for 30 years, even though they are virtue signaling to anyone and everyone who will listen to them.

It appears to this crazy ol’ cracker that the McCloskeys are receiving a huge reality check.

As I have been writing, these demonstrations and riots have not been about “civil rights”.

They have been about ushering in a “Blue Wave” of Marxism designed to change our Constitutional Republic into a Democratic Socialist Third World Barrio.

Mr. and Mrs. McClosky, when your reality check happened the other night, it was in the former of two “New Bolsheviks” who saw you as just another rich white couple to canalize and assault in the name of “Social Justice and Equality”, i.e. , Marxism.

In a Marist State, the Proletariats are all equal…equally poor.

You are being attacked now because you dared to defend yourselves from “social justice”.

Which is in reality just code words for a failed political philosophy which has failed in every country that foolishly adopted it as the blueprint for their national government.

Your absolutely right in defending yourselves.

You showed more courage in that moment than the majority of politicians on both sides of the political aisle have shown since the riots and ensuing virtue signaling began to rip our Sovereign Nation apart at the seams.

I hope and pray that more Americans will begin to show the courage that you did.

Because if our political leaders will not stand up four us and our Constitutional Republican, then we will have to stand up for ourselves.

Pelosi and Dems Call for a National Face Mask Mandate…Can You Say “Control”?

Nancy-Pelosi-calls-for-national-mask-requirement-ABC-screengrab-e1593355774968

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” – Benjamin Franklin

TheHill.com reports that

Democratic governors and lawmakers on Sunday pushed for a better-coordinated federal response to the coronavirus pandemic as cases spike in several states, particularly in the southern and eastern U.S.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on ABC’s “This Week” that a national mask mandate was “long overdue,” and “it’s time for this administration to take this seriously.”

“[M]y understanding is that the Centers for Disease Control [and Prevention] has recommended the use of masks but not required it because they don’t want to offend the president,” she added, calling on President Trump to “be an example” by wearing a mask and calling on his supporters to do the same.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) made similar comments on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

“We know that’s the solution from a health standpoint and a way to reopen the economy,” he said.

Inslee went on to say Trump had needlessly politicized both the issue of masks and the pandemic in general, citing his endorsement of protests against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) earlier in the year calling for an end to restrictions on public gatherings and businesses.

“The moment Donald Trump tweeted he wanted to liberate Michigan from the health messages of Governor Whitmer, all of the people wearing MAGA hats decided they didn’t want to help out as much,” Inslee added.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), whose state was hardest hit by the virus but has since started to recover, said the Trump administration was “in denial” about the ongoing pandemic.

“If you listen to what the [Health and Human Services] secretary said, if you listen to what the president says, what they said at the White House briefing, they’re saying what they said three months ago. They’re basically in denial about the problem. They don’t want to tell the American people the truth,” Cuomo said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

New York has gradually lifted restrictions throughout the state, region by region, including allowing many businesses in New York City, once a hotspot in the state, to reopen. However, with cases spiking in states like Florida, California, Oklahoma and Texas, Cuomo and the governors of New Jersey and Connecticut are requiring a 14-day quarantine for travelers from hard-hit states.

Vice President Pence defended the White House’s response and lack of a federal mandate on masks, telling CBS News’ John Dickerson “We’ve made it clear that we want to defer to governors. We want to defer to local officials, and people should listen to them.”

Pence also defended the federal approach as reflecting the realities of outbreaks in individual states. With a more standardized federal approach, Pence said, “we’d never have never had the success that we had in the greater New York City area, we’d have never had the success in Michigan or New Orleans because, from early on, we worked closely in partnership with governors to make sure that they had what they needed when they needed it, tailored to the unique circumstances in their states.”

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, meanwhile, denied that Trump has undermined public health messaging.

“I am the president’s health secretary and I am telling people just what President Trump has said from day one of the guidelines,” Azar told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

“I am the president’s health secretary and I am telling people just what President Trump has said from day one of the guidelines,” Azar said.

The HHS secretary went on to dispute that premature reopenings in some states had caused spikes.

“We’ve got many communities in states that are just as reopened as these southern states but aren’t experiencing this,” he said. “We’ve got to get to the bottom of why we’re seeing these cases surge in this area, but at its core, we all own as individuals, our individual behavior to make sure that we are practicing appropriate social distancing and wearing facial covering when we’re not able to, and practicing good personal hygiene and especially protecting our most vulnerable citizens.”

After reading the above article, I asked myself, “Self, how does Nancy Pelosi know that the CDC did not require that the entire country wear masks because “they didn’t want to offend the president”?

And, of course, the answer was she didn’t, she was lying her alcoholic as…err…rear off.

As any American who has paid attention during the pandemic knows, every state was hit differently in terms of the number of people who tested positive and the number of people who actually became sick from COVD-19.

That is because every state is different. Each state has its own unique geography, weather, and location and denseness of population.

Montana is not the same as New Jersey.

Mississippi is not the same as New York…although the Liberals are trying to make it that way.

But, I digress.

I will let you in on a little secret: I am an essential worker.

I have worked my shift this entire time, working the first month without a mask, until my employer made it mandatory.

Except for the usual seasonal allergies triggering my asthma, I have been fine.

Why are the Democrats pushing so hard to mandate that an entire nation of free individuals be required to wear masks, as if we were under the rule of the ones responsible for this pandemic, Communist China?

Make no mistake, I believe that the pandemic was/is real.

However, I also believe, just like the riots, that the Far Left Democrats have a political purpose behind their response to COVID-19.

Gentle readers, do you all remember the story about the frog in a pot of water on the stove?

If you slowly adjust the temperature of the water until it reaches the boiling point, the frog will stay in that pot of water until it is boiled alive.

The Far Left Democrats are “testing the waters” to see if they can control a free nation of people like Lenin, Stalin, and Mao controlled the Soviet Union and Communist China.

That is why President Trump left it up to the states in the first place. And, why he is now trying to open America back up for business again.

Our American Freedom was paid for through the sacrifices made by courageous men and women.

It was won and it has been maintained at much too dear a cost to lose it by Americans cowering and freely giving it up “to purchase a little temporary safety”.

Mississippi and The Duke

Yesterday, 2 things happened that may seem to some to be unconnected.

Down here in the Magnolia State of Mississippi, the State House of Representatives voted to remove the Confederate Battle Flag from our state flag. Today, the State Senate is supposed to take up the measure and will probably vote the same way. We citizens of Mississippi will not have a vote on this.

In all of their caring benevolence, the Mississippi state government is going to allow us to vote for the new design sometime in the near future.

Regardless of what you think about the Stars and Bars, not allowing the citizens of a state to have a say in the matter is just plain wrong.

However, this was done on purpose.

You see, 10 years ago, the citizens of Mississippi voted to retain the Confederate Battle Flag in the state flag.

The Smartest People in the Room decided that they could not have that happen again. I have no doubt that if given the opportunity, the citizens of Mississippi would vote to keep our state flag as it is.

I look for Governor Tate Reeves to sign the measure if the senate passes it as he has shown himself not to be the governor that his predecessor was.

Meanwhile, out in Orange County California, the local Democrats have voted to remove the name of John Wayne from the local airport as they claim that he was a racist.

John Wayne was no different than any man or woman in his generation. In a Playboy Magazine ambush interview, he said some things that have caused the Snowflakes of this present generation to melt in guilt ridden angst.

However, I clearly remember the late, great Roscoe Lee Browne co-starring in “The Cowboys”, and the late, great Scatman Caruthers having a role in the Duke’s last movie, “The Shootist”.

The Duke had their number in this interview from 1975.

…I always thought I was a liberal but I came up terribly surprised when I found I was a right wing conservative extremist…I have always listened to every human being I’ve ever met about how I should feel. But this so-called new liberal group… they never listen to your point of view and they make a decision as to what you think and they’re articulate enough and in control of enough of the press to force that image out for the average person. For some reason, maybe it’s these pictures, they have not been able to do that with me…it hasn’t affected my career in popularity in spite of the fact that they’ve tried to make them do it. There isn’t a hell of a lot we can do to change human behavior. We keep making laws to try to change human behavior but we can’t do it…You’re being conned into Keynesianism and socialism now but it isn’t going to stop the selfishness of human behavior. It isn’t going to stop the greed. If you take $20 and give a dollar to every son of a b!tch in the room, you come back a year later one of the b@st@rds will have most of the money. It’s just human nature. We’re never gonna whip it with a lot of laws.

As communication gets better and you make people conscious of somebody in trouble, starving or something like that, the average person will help…I think there are people who try to affect a thinking where they know more than some other son of a b!tch and try to pull a false impression on what human nature is. We’ve proven we go back to hope at the first opportunity…and bam they’re out there ready to grab it. So we are optimistic; we have to be optimistic. What else would we be if you lose optimism?” – John Wayne

Well sir, I think that you would become one of the Liberal Snowflakes who have become Marxists, thanks to the Liberal College Professors in this nation, and are upset that the rest of us don’t buy into Marxism and who are taking out their frustrations on our historical statues and monuments in an effort to erase history.

What both subjects in this morning’s post have in common is the fact that they are part of American history and American culture which has bound us together as a nation since our Founders put pen to paper and wrote our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. While our freedom as a nation gives its citizens many rights, it does not give anybody the right to erase history simply because it offends them as an individual.

It is time for average Americans to stand up together and say no to those who would erase our history in their attempt to turn this nation into something that it was never meant to be.

Two-Thirds of Money Raised By Biden Cancer Initiative Went Toward Paying Staff Huge Salaries Instead of Fighting Cancer

joe-biden-gty-jc-180615_hpEmbed_3x2_992

PROLOGUE:

Right now, only 5 percent of cancer patients in the U.S. end up in a clinical trial. Most aren’t given access to their own data. At the same time, community oncologists — who treat more than 75 percent of cancer patients — have more limited access to cutting-edge research and advances.

So I plan to do two things.
1.) Increase resources — both private and public — to fight cancer.

2.) Break down silos and bring all the cancer fighters together — to work together, share information, and end cancer as we know it.

And the goal of this initiative is simple — to double the rate of progress. To make a decade worth of advances in five years.

Here’s how we can do it:
Over the next year, I will lead a dedicated, combined effort by governments, private industry, researchers, physicians, patients, and philanthropies to target investment, coordinate across silos, and increase access to information for everyone in the cancer community. – Vice-President Joe Biden, Jan.13, 2016, “Inspiring a New Generation to Defy the Bounds of Innovation: A Moonshot to Cure Cancer”

“The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”

Especially if you are a crooked as a dog’s hind leg.

The Washington Free Beacon reports that

Nearly two-thirds of the money the Biden Cancer Initiative spent since its founding in 2017 went toward staff compensation and six-figure salaries for top executives. The group spent far less on efforts to eradicate cancer.

One of several nonprofits Joe Biden created following his tenure in the White House, the Biden Cancer Initiative paid top executives lavishly, with salaries comprising nearly 65 percent of its total expenditures. That is well above the 25 percent charity watchdogs recommend nonprofits spend on administrative overhead and fundraising costs combined.

The nonprofit raised and spent $4.8 million over its two years in operation, its 2017 and 2018 tax forms show. Slightly more than $3 million of that amount went to salaries, compensation, and benefits. At the same time, the group spent just $1.7 million on all of its other expenses. A bulk of this cash—$740,000—was poured into conferences, conventions, and meetings. It did not cut a single grant to any other group or foundation during its two-year run.

An analysis of nonprofits by Charity Navigator, which rates charities for effectiveness, found that mid-to-large-sized nonprofits paid their chief executives an average salary of $126,000 per year—far less than what the Biden Cancer Initiative paid its president, Greg Simon, who pocketed $224,539 in 2017 and $429,850 in 2018. Charity Navigator’s primary criterion for rating charities is whether they “spend at least 75% of their expenses directly on their programs.”

The Biden cancer group’s financial disclosures may raise new questions about whether the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee allowed associates to profit off their access to him. Before going on to receive six-figure salaries from the Biden Cancer Initiative, Simon and the initiative’s vice president, Danielle Carnival, previously worked for the Obama administration’s Cancer Moonshot program. Biden’s son Hunter received $50,000 a month to sit on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma despite an apparent lack of qualifications. James Biden, Joe Biden’s brother, joined a construction firm in 2010 that later won a $1.5 billion contract to build homes in Iraq while Biden oversaw Iraq policy. Biden’s presidential campaign has been plagued with questions about Hunter’s and James’s financial activities.

Simon was only one of several highly paid Biden Cancer Initiative executives. Carnival was also compensated handsomely, collecting a combined $391,897 in 2017 and 2018. Simon and Carnival were the only two individuals paid both years by the nonprofit. During its second year in operation, the initiative added others to its payroll, including director of communications Cecilia Arradaza (who was paid $171,012), director of engagement Lisa Simms Booth ($197,544), and director of science policy Catherine Young ($170,904).

Biden stepped away from the initiative and his other nonprofits shortly before entering the presidential race to avoid conflicts of interest. Many of the health companies that Biden touted during his time with the nonprofit have financial and regulatory interests with the federal government. Simon told the Associated Press in 2019 that many of the group’s attempted partnerships with medical organizations were “not successful.”

The Biden Cancer Initiative was launched to continue the agenda of the Cancer Moonshot program, which President Obama created toward the end of his second term in hopes of accelerating research in the field. Biden, whose son Beau died from the disease, led the program with Simon’s help.

The nonprofit operated primarily through indirect money pledges from 57 partnerships, which included drug and health insurance companies. The group also pushed for data sharing, patient support, and other medical initiatives.

The Biden campaign did not respond to a request for comment. Simon did not respond to inquiries on the Biden Cancer Initiative’s finances and what the group had ultimately achieved before ceasing its operations.

Gosh… I wonder why?

Could it be because of this?

Voters think Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden used his former position as vice president to financially benefit his family and friends, according to a newJust the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.

The poll found 53% of U.S. voters think it’s likely Biden like used his post as a two-term vice president for President Obama for such financial gains. Just 29% consider it unlikely.

I have always said that the Modern American Liberals in the Far Left Democratic Party are the most hypocritical people waling the face of God’s green Earth.

Back during the 8-year nightmare that was the Obama Presidency, everyone used to joke about “Crazy Uncle Joe” Biden being handcuffed to a chair in the bunker under the White House with duct tape over his mouth to keep him from saying stupid things that would further damage the Obama Presidency (if such a thing was actually possible…Obama did that all by himself).

Little did we know how close to reality that joke was.

It should be obvious to all Americans by now that Biden has been hiding out in his basement for several reasons.

His rapidly deteriorating mental condition.

His “Friends and Family Plan” as mentioned above during his time as Vice-President

The Far Left Bernie Bots are still upset about the Democratic Primary.

With all that is known about Biden, it makes all of the weighted “Push Polls” that Fox news and others are publishing showing “commanding leads” by Biden over Trump even more unbelievable than the silly polls leading up to the 2016 Presidential Election.

How could anybody trust Joe Biden to lead our Sovereign Nation?

What kind of man would make a big deal about heading a Cancer Initiative in honor of his deceased son and then allow it to be as phony as Michelle Obama’s smile?

The presumed Democratic Nominee for President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, that’s who.

And, they call us “deplorable”.

Trump Talks to Hannity About Bolton, Seattle, Schumer, Pelosi, and Mueller in Free-Wheeling Interview Which Shows Why He Must Be Re-elected

30071342-8461929-President_Donald_Trump_blasted_Seattle_officials_in_an_interview-a-68_1593136610232

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump on Thursday blasted John Bolton ahead of the publication of his tell-all memoir “The Room Where It Happened,” calling his former national security adviser “crazy” and saying that “all he wants to do is bomb people.”

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Fox News’ “Hannity” airing Thursday at 9 p.m. ET, Trump digs into Bolton just days after the former national security adviser won a court battle allowing him to publish his memoir despite objections from the White House that it contained classified information.

“He didn’t do a good job,” Trump said of Bolton. “He wasn’t smart. He wasn’t sharp.”

Trump added: “He’s the only man I think I ever met — I knew him for a year — I don’t think I ever saw him smile once. I said to him, ‘John, do you ever smile?’ And it tells you something about somebody.’”

Bolton earlier this week defended his decision to write a tell-all about his time in the Trump administration and denied violating record-keeping laws by destroying his notes while in the White House.

Bolton, who gave an interview Tuesday on Fox News’ “Special Report with Bret Baier,” was just as critical of the president as Trump was of him when he compared him to presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

“The difference between [Joe] Biden and Trump is that Biden has a view, and Trump has no view,” Bolton said, tying Trump’s perceived erraticism to the coronavirus pandemic: “On any given day, any decision is possible. And I find that frightening. I find the response to the coronavirus demonstrates exactly the kind of fear that I have.”

Bolton continued, saying that “the response was herky-jerky, incoherent, sporadic and not as effective as it could have been.” He then warned that this “only gives a preview of what could happen in an even more severe crisis.”

Trump gave a wide-ranging interview on Hannity and touched on a number of topics — from the Russia Investigation and his Democratic rivals, to the semi-autonomous zone set up in downtown Seattle.

“If they don’t do something with Seattle, we’re going to do that — we’re going to go in there,” Trump told host Sean Hannity. “Because what’s happening, they’re taking over American cities.”

He also ripped into Democrat leaders on the Hill, saying: “We have [Charles] Schumer and [Nancy] Pelosi and people that are bad people that I honestly believe don’t love our country.  What they do to our country and what they’ve done with this scam, the whole scam — [Michae] Flynn is a piece of it. The Mueller scam.”

Continuing, Trump said: “Now it came out that Mueller should have announced in the first week that we did nothing wrong. They had evidence in the first few days that there was no collusion with Russia. There was nothing to do with Russia. They knew that immediately.”

And yet, they let that circus continue because it was never about PROVING that Trump colluded with the Russians. In actuality, the Democrats knew that it was all B.S.

It was all about getting the American public to BELIEVE that Trump did something wrong.

The betrayal of President Trump by John Bolton and all of this violent activity by Antifa and BLM representing the Far Left Democrats is the latest chapter of a National Liberal Temper Tantrum which began the night of November 8, 2016, when Republican Candidate Donald J. Trump beat Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton for the job of President of the United States of America.

However, I feel that there is much more at state than just Far Left Ideologues hyperventilating and Liberals rioting for the sake of  “equality”.

Gentle readers, we are in a civil war for the very soul of our Sovereign Nation.

Please notice that one of the leaders of Black Lives Matter admitted in a recent interview that they were “trained Marxists”, “New Bolsheviks”, if you will.

As was the case in the Russian Revolution, any “Democratic Socialist” nation we see around our Modern World, went through a course-altering revolution, whether through a violent overthrow of the Government or through a “radical change” in the political ideology of their nation and the way that their populace voted in the subsequent election.

I firmly believe that the mission of Billionaire Financier George Soros and all of the Far Left Organizations and Democratic Party Politicians whom he supports, is what his political puppet, Former (Thank God) President Barack Hussein Obama, said that his was during his first presidential campaign: to “radically change” our nation into something that every patriotic American will no longer recognize.

America’s Alt-Left, which President Trump identified by name during the 2017 “Press Conference which shall forever be known as the “Trump Tower Thrashing” is a fringe group of radicalized young people, who grew up during the Obama Administration being programmed by “Organizing for America”, Liberal College Professors, and a pop culture which told them that to love America and to respect her history and those who had gone before them, was “jingoistic”.

They were told that it was evil to try to be better than others….to achieve and make their own way.

They were told that everyone “should be equal” and those who do achieve should “share the wealth”.

This programming led these young minds full of mush to become the “useful idiots” (as Communists used to call their dupes in the Cold War) whom we have been watching on television as they attack and attempting to erase monuments to America’s History, our Constitutional method of deciding our leaders, and our duly elected President.

Now, with the push to take away historical monuments, names of historic figures from buildings, and to do away with our National Anthem, average Americans are watching our Sovereign Nation under siege as George Soros’ covert and overt support of perpetually-grieved protesters, paid to stage organized demonstrations which morph into riots, and the “Alt” or Far-Left, through funding by Soros, Communist Organizations, and other sources, is bring our own version of the Russian Revolution to 2020 America, complete with our own version of Lenin’s Bolsheviks.

That is why the re-election of Donald J. Trump to the Presidency is so very important.

Trump was elected to put the brakes on this “New Revolution” purposefully designed to “radically change” America into just another “Democratic Socialist Nation”.

Thanks to everything which he has had to deal with in his first term, including continuous plots against him by the Democrats and their Vichy Republican allies, and a National Pandemic, Trump has seen all of the great things which he had accomplished in his first term be damaged and delayed.

If Americans re-elect Trump, I truly believe that he will do everything in his power to continue what he began in his first term.

We must re-elect Trump in order to stop George Soros and these “New Bolsheviks”, before history repeats itself on this side of the Atlantic, over 100 years later.

America’s survival as a free nation depends on it.

Vichy Republicans Want Trump to Make a Course Correction and Be More of a “Moderate”…Like They Are

TheHill.com reports that

Republicans say President Trump should make a course correction and shift his strategy after a series of dismal polls showed him badly trailing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Republican senators thought Trump was cruising to reelection only a few months ago but they now worry his relentless focus on revving up his party’s base is hurting his chances, as well as their own of staying in control of the upper chamber.

“I think right now obviously Trump has a problem with the middle of the electorate, with independents, and they’re the people who are going to decide a national election,” Senate Majority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) said Wednesday.

“I think he can win those back, but it will probably require not only a message that deals with substance and policy, but I think a message that conveys a perhaps different tone,” he added.

Asked if the polling showing Trump well behind Biden is a wake-up call, Thune said it’s a “message” the White House needs to change its strategy.

“These polls are a snapshot in time and the electorate as we know can be very fluid, but I do think it’s a message that there needs to be certainly a change in probably strategy as far as the White House’s messaging is concerned,” he said.

A New York Times-Siena College poll released Wednesday showed Biden leading Trump by 14 points in a nationwide survey of 1,337 registered voters. Biden’s lead was bigger among some key groups. He held a 21-point lead among independents, a 22-point lead among women and a 28-point advantage among white, college-educated voters.

That’s a problem for Senate Republicans, who see women and college-educated voters in the suburbs as critical to keeping their majority.

Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.), a counselor to the Senate GOP leadership, said Trump’s fortunes have shifted with the coronavirus pandemic.

“Pre-COVID … I thought the president could carry the day with women and college-educated voters,” she said, pointing to the nation’s low unemployment and rising wages at the time.

“With high unemployment and the economy shredded by COVID he needed to adjust his message,” she said. “That’s where he probably began slippage.”

“I’m an American woman, I’ve got three kids and seven grandchildren. I want a message of optimism and hope and that’s the measure I think people are looking for,” she added. “That’s not his A-1 message.”

Capito also said the president should focus on “reinforcing to people where we’ve made great progress” such as “improving economic conditions, more women in the workforce” and the “funding of universities and colleges.”

Other Senate Republicans acknowledge that Trump’s polling raises red flags.

“Does it cause concern? Of course. One always has to understand and recognize the current situation,” said Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho).

Asked whether Trump needs to overhaul his political strategy, Crapo responded: “I’m not going to give the president advice on this.”

He also said the political picture could change.

“Polls are always — whether they are good or bad — always instructive, but I’ve learned that a poll is taking a pulse in a specific time frame and they change,” he said.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) identified women and college-educated voters early in the election cycle as key to preserving the Senate GOP majority. He said last year that Republicans lost the House in the 2018 midterms because “we got crushed in the suburbs.”

“We lost college graduates and women in the suburbs, which led in the House to losses in suburban Kansas City; Oklahoma City; Houston; Dallas; Atlanta; Charleston, S.C.,” the GOP leader told reporters last April. “We’re determined not to lose women, certainly not by 19 points, and college graduates in our Senate races. And I don’t think we will.”

Polling released Wednesday shows that Democrats could again have a massive lead among women and college graduates in an election year where the GOP is defending 23 Senate seats while Democrats only have to protect 12.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday showed that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.

Oh, noes! Just 47%!

But, wait…

According to Gallup.com, on this day back in 2012, Obama also had a 47% approval rating.

Say, didn’t Obama win re-election?

Why, yes. He did.

In his tweets lately, President Trump has been referring to America’s “Silent Majority” being bigger than ever.

He’s right.

Average Americans have been going on with their lives as best as they could during the last three months, Watching the President l manner, handling the Kung Flu Pandemic as best as his possible while keeping the economy in a position to take off like a rocket at the first opportunity.

Meanwhile, what have the Democrats been doing?

Well, they have been complaining about President Trump, while Pelosi gave a TV in front of her gigantic freezer filled with gourmet ice cream. Then, when Kung Flu Pandemic wasalmost over and the rioting by BLM and Antifa was in full swing, the Democrats defended their violence and vandals.

And, what about their presumptive Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden?

He’s been hiding in his basement, not giving press conferences because he can’t string 2 sentences together in a coherent fashion.

So, why are these Vichy Republicans tearing Trump apart in the above article?

Well, they are from the John McClain School of Politics which teaches its students that Republicans always bend over backwards for the Democrats and to believe that the Conservative Base is only to be listened to as a political expediency to be ignored until campaign time.

Trump remains a threat to the Vichy Republicans because he actually listens to average Americans, the “Silent Majority”, if you will.

These are the Americans who Hillary Clinton referred to as “Deplorables” in the Presidential Campaign of 2016…the average Americans living in America’s heartland between the coasts.

Y’know…the ones who elected Citizen Statesman Donald J. Trump the 45th President of the United States of America.

The same ones who are going to reelect him on November 3, 2020.

…Regardless of what the professional politicians on either side of the political aisle want.

Liberals are Doing to NASCAR What They Did to Country Music…and It “Ain’t” Good

Richard-Petty-Motorsports-Black-Lives-Matter-car

https://twitter.com/toddstarnes/status/1275618763258441728?s=20

Back on February 21st of this year, Zachary J. Lechner, a historian at the State Historical Society of North Dakota and author of “The South of the Mind: American Imaginings of White Southernness, 1960-1980.”, wrote the following op ed for WashingtonPost.com

On Sunday, President Trump went racing. More accurately, this “man of the people,” in the words of driver Kurt Busch, opened the Daytona 500, known as the Super Bowl of auto racing. Besides calling out, “Gentlemen, start your engines,” and taking a lap around the track in his presidential limousine, Trump reinforced the Republican Party’s recent success in yoking itself to the cultural allure of NASCAR.

The president reminded the enthusiastic crowd of more than 100,000 people (and an even larger television audience) that “NASCAR fans never forget that no matter who wins the race, what matters most is God, family and country.” This rhetoric recalls comments made by President Richard M. Nixon during the opening of the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville in March 1974. On stage that evening, Nixon told musician Roy Acuff that country music “talks about family, it talks about religion, the faith in God that is so important to our country and particularly to our family life. And as we all know, country music radiates a love of this nation, patriotism.”

The similarity is no coincidence. While country music and NASCAR have grown in national popularity over the past 50 years, both are still distinguished by their associations with white Southern culture. These two moments expose how the GOP has adopted a symbolic politics based on a singular version of working-class white Southernness as a predominantly right-leaning cultural entity. Privileging patriotism, Christian faith, family-centeredness and masculinity — basically anything conservatives consider “traditional” — and harnessing the power and popularity of country music and stock-car racing, the GOP has redefined the common man and staked out a challenge to the Democratic Party’s claim to be the party of the common man.

…The GOP’s NASCAR/Nashville linkage is a crucial aspect of its divisive efforts to weaponize working-class white Southernness as uniquely authentic and quintessentially American. Trump critic and country artist Maren Morris lamented that the country music community was deeply polarized (in more colorful language). So, too, is the nation. And with savviness — and a fair amount of cynicism hiding behind the flag-waving — Republicans continue to deploy their cultural Southern strategy to profit from that polarization.

Now, what it the name of Cousin Minnie Pearl’s Hat Tag a professor from North Dakota has done to consider him to be an expert on NASCAR or country music is anybody’s guess.

Judging from the content of the article, I would say, not much.

Anyway, if you will notice, the professor trashed both NASCAR and traditional country music as being too masculine and too Southern.

As a lifelong Son of the South, I would answer in return,

“So, what’s wrong with that, Skippy?’

Evidently, in the eyes of Modern American Liberals, a lot was wrong with both, as they have turned country music produced in Nashville into pop music, sung by guys and galls whose only experience riding a horse lasted as long as their Dad put quarters in the machine in front of Walmart.

Having been successful in infiltrating country music with a bunch of “pajamaboys” and “Karens”, the Liberals have now turned their sights on Nascar, beginning with banning the historical flag of the region in which the sport began and where the overwhelming majority of their fans live and work.

According to History.com

NASCAR held its first Strictly Stock race on June 19, 1949, at the Charlotte Speedway in North Carolina. Some 13,000 fans were on hand to watch Glenn Dunnaway finish the 200-lap race first in his Ford; however, Jim Roper (who drove a Lincoln) collected the $2,000 prize after Dunnaway was disqualified for illegal rear springs on his vehicle. In the early years of NASCAR, competitors drove the same types of cars that people drove on the street–Buicks, Cadillacs, Oldsmobiles, among others–with minimal modifications. (Today, the cars are highly customized.)

In 1950, the first NASCAR-based track, the Darlington Raceway in South Carolina, opened. More new raceways followed, including the Daytona International Speedway, which opened in 1959. Lee Petty won the first Daytona 500, which was run on February 22 of that year. The Daytona 500 became NASCAR’s season opener and one of its premiere events. Lee Petty’s son Richard, who began his racing career in 1958, won the Daytona 500 a record seven times and became NASCAR’s first superstar before retiring in 1992. On February 18, 1979, the first live flag-to-flag coverage of the Daytona 500 was broadcast on television. An end-of-the-race brawl between drivers Cale Yarborough and Donnie and Bobby Allison was a huge publicity generator and helped boost NASCAR’s popularity on a national scale.

In 1972, France’s son, William France Jr., took over the presidency of NASCAR from his father. Over the next three decades, the younger France (1933-2007) was instrumental in transforming NASCAR from a regional sport popular primarily in the southeast U.S. into one with a global fan base. France led NASCAR into a new era of lucrative corporate sponsorships and billion-dollar TV contracts, which continues to this day.

As recent events, such as the banning of the Confederate Battle Flag and the kerfluffle over Bubba Wallace seeing a noose that wasn’t really there, demonstrate, Liberals are well on their way to taking over the “divisive” product of “Southern Culture” that was the glorious, gritty, exciting sport of NASCAR.

So, with Bubba Wallace proudly displaying “Black Lives Matter” on his car, can we expect the LGBTQ Pick Satin Special to be at the Daytona 500 in the near future?

That would give “Drag Racing” a whole new meaning, wouldn’t it?

…Forgive me, Lord, and be with all the starving pygmies in New Guinea. Amen.

KJ
