Misplaced Priorities: America’s Jobless and the Push for Amnesty

UnemploymentAs the attention of Americans remains focused on the disaster known as Obamacare, another disaster has slipped by the public’s watchful eye.

CNSNews.com reports that

The number of Americans who are 16 years or older and who have decided not to participate in the nation’s labor force has climbed to a record 90,609,000 in September, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The BLS counts a person as participating in the labor force if they are 16 years or older and either have a job or have actively sought a job in the last four weeks. A person is not participating in the labor force if they are 16 or older and have not sought a job in the last four weeks.

In from July to August, according to BLS, Americans not participating in the labor force climbed from 89,957,000 to 90,473,000, pushing past 90,000,000 for the first time, with a one month increase of 516,000.

In September, it climbed again to 90,609,000, an increase of 136,000 during the month.

In January 2009, when President Barack Obama took office, there were 80,507,000 Americans not in the labor force. Thus, the number of Americans not in the labor force has increased by 10,102,000 during Obama’s presidency.

The labor force participation rate, which is the percentage of the non-institutionalized population 16 years or older who either have a job or actively sought one in the last four weeks, was 63.2 percent in September. That was unchanged from August.

When President Obama took office in January 2009, the labor force participation rate was 65.7 percent.

In other words, ladies and gentlemen, Americans have given up looking for jobs. And, this is a subject I know a little something about.

I used to work the Front Desk at a State-run Employment office.

While there, I was able to observe folks down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy.

I also saw American families, whose existence living on the Government Dole, had become generational.

It is these people whom Obama and the Democrats have hypnotized into believing that Uncle Sugar loves them, and is their only solution to surviving a stifling existence.

They are so, so wrong.

The strength and vitality of America does not come from the benevolence of a Nanny-state Federal Government.

As the greatest American President of our lifetime, Ronald Reagan said:

The nine words you never want to hear are:  I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

Being enslaved to the Government Dole steals one’s ambition.  It takes away any impetus or desire to create a better life for yourself and your family, to challenge yourself to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and pursue the American Dream.  It makes you reliant on a politically motivated spider’s web full of government bureaucrats who view you and your family as job security.

I watched American citizens trapped in this web of government bureaucracy,  so numbed of any initiative that they once had, that they seemed offended that they actually had to prove that they inquired about three jobs that week in order to keep their “benefits”.  Others seemed puzzled that they had to search through the state data base and pick out a job that they wanted to talk to an interviewer about receiving a referral to, and weren’t just simply handed a job when they walked through the door.

So, yesterday’s news was not a huge surprise for me. With an Administration who positively revels in their growing control of American Citizens’ lives, cradle to grave, it is a fait accompli that the amount of people who forgo providing for their families by the sweat of their brow, to embrace “Free Lifetime Benefits” given so graciously to them by Uncle Sugar, should rise.

That being said, what is the Administration and the Vichy Republicans doing to correct this problem, and get America working again?

Answer: Absolutely Nothing (Say it again!)  The Administration and their “friends across the aisle are making plans to grant amnesty to 10 million Illegal Aliens, in a fight to see who can create more voters for their political party.

in fact, per  Breitbart.com,

According to Politico, pro-immigration reform groups will target House Republican leaders and over 20 Republicans they think are vulnerable on the issue. Their goal is to get a vote on immigration reform this year.

Republican mega-donor Paul Singer has teamed up with George Soros to finance pro-comprehensive immigration reform groups like the Evangelical Immigration Table, which released a letter on Monday urging lawmakers to support a pathway to citizenship, and the National Immigration Forum, which will also be mobilizing support.

The Fair Immigration Reform Movement, described as “an umbrella organization for an array of immigration rights groups nationwide,” will “intensify the pressure on House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as well as 26 Republicans” representing districts with a significant number of minorities.

Both Political Parties need to realize that if they free up our Capitalist System to run in the manner in which is has for over 200 years, Americans will have jobs, their outlook will be more hopeful, and both parties will have happy voters. And then, they can decide what to do with the 10 million who have broken our country’s Immigration Laws.

Our American Leadership have misplaced priorities.

It’s still the economy, stupid.

Obama’s Website Speech: Would You Buy a Used Car From This Man?

Obama-Used-Car-salesmanYesterday Morning, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, walked out into the Rose Garden, surrounded by Human Props, and made what was essentially a Campaign Speech, in a desperate attempt to save face, after the humiliation of the biggest failure to launch since the Rosie O’Donnell Variety Hour:

Over the past two and a half weeks, millions of Americans visited HealthCare.gov to look at their new health care options under the Affordable Care Act. In that time, nearly half a million applications for coverage have been submitted from across the nation. This tremendous interest – with over 19 million unique visits to date to HealthCare.gov– confirms that the American people are looking for quality, affordable health coverage, and want to find it online.

Unfortunately, the experience on HealthCare.gov has been frustrating for many Americans. Some have had trouble creating accounts and logging in to the site, while others have received confusing error messages, or had to wait for slow page loads or forms that failed to respond in a timely fashion. The initial consumer experience of HealthCare.gov has not lived up to the expectations of the American people. We are committed to doing better.

Aside from the difficulties since launching the site, there are parts of the overall system that have proved up to the task. The “Data Hub,” component, which provides HealthCare.gov with information that aids in determining eligibility for qualified health plans, is working. Individuals have been able to verify their eligibility for credits, enabling them to shop for and enroll in low or even no-cost health plans.

Since launch, when we first recognized these issues, we have been working around the clock to make improvements. We have updated the site several times with new code that includes bug fixes that have greatly improved the HealthCare.gov experience. The initial wave of interest stressed the account service, resulting in many consumers experiencing trouble signing up, while those that were able to sign up sometimes had problems logging in.

In response, we have made a number of improvements to the account service. Initially, we implemented a virtual “waiting room,” but many found this experience to be confusing. We continued to add more capacity in order to meet demand and execute software fixes to address the sign up and log in issues, stabilizing those parts of the service and allowing us to remove the virtual “waiting room.” Today, more and more individuals are successfully creating accounts, logging in, and moving on to apply for coverage and shop for plans. We’re proud of these quick improvements, but we know there’s still more work to be done. We will continue to conduct regular maintenance nearly every night to improve the experience.

To ensure that we make swift progress, and that the consumer experience continues to improve, our team has called in additional help to solve some of the more complex technical issues we are encountering.

I am surprised that the Cheesey Preezy didn’t try to work in the statement,

Can you hear me now?

According to USA Today…

An informed source in the telecommunications industry said Verizon’s Enterprise Solutions division has been asked by the Department of Health and Human Services to improve the performance of the HealthCare.gov site, which is a key component of the Affordable Care Act. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement had not been made official.

It makes sense for HHS to seek Verizon’s help, said Aneesh Chopra, the Obama administration’s former chief technology officer and now a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress. “There is an existing ‘best and brightest’ available to call in,” Chopra said. “Verizon is one of those already under contract.”

The odds that the problem will be fixed are “50-50,” said Clark Kelso, California’s chief information officer under governors Gray Davis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. “They’ve got a short window here to try to fix things,” Kelso said. “Simply throwing a lot of new programmers at something like this does not guarantee success.”

It makes even more sense, if you do a little research, like I did.

Per opensecrets.org, Verizon’s biggest Political Contribution in the 2012 election was to…you guessed it…the Re-election Campaign of Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm). Verizon contributed $223,741.

Can you say “rewarding your friends”, boys and girls? Sure you can.

Back in 1980, a movie came out, which has since become a cult favorite. Its title was “Used Cars”. It starred Kurt Russell as a sleazy Used Car Salesman named Rudy Russo, who would do or say anything he had to, in order to make a sale.

Rudy’s favorite line, when making a sale,or devising a scheme, was

Trust me.

That movie, and the character of Rudy Russo, reminded me of Obama and his speech, yesterday,

Obama’s desperate. His Signature Legislation, the misnamed “Affordable Care Act”, passed in the dark of night by his Congressional Minions, is circling down the ol’ porcelain receptacle at an ever-accelerating rate.

In fact, it has already been declared a disaster by a lot of objective experts, including Consumer Reports…

On October 1, the day the Obamacare exchanges went online, the magazine told people to be patient: “Don’t worry if you can’t sign up today or even within the next couple of weeks.” A week into enrollment, they urged again to “wait a couple weeks and hope that the site irons out its many problems” because the HealthCare.gov is “barely operational.”

As the editors continued to review the website over the next few days, they only had one positive statement: “On the plus side,” they noted, “consumers coming to HealthCare.gov are no longer stopped cold by an error message or a screen saying they’ve been put in a waiting line.”

Now three weeks into the exchanges, having offered reviews and advice, Consumer Reports said that “if all [these suggestions] are too much to absorb, follow our previous advice: Stay away from Healthcare.gov,” at least for the time being.

Good Advice.  As I reported the other day, the designers of the website, CGI Federal, Obama Donors in their own right, were fired for poor performance by Canadian Health Officials, before being given the contract for Healthcare.gov by Obama.

Now, Obama is calling upon another major donor, Verizon, to fix the “tore up from the floor up” website.

Evidently, the corruption and cronyism which Obama surrounds himself with, just like the character Rudy Russo, from “Used Cars” are just the way ol’ Scooter rolls. Except, in the movie, Rudy actually turned out to have some redeeming qualities.

In 2007, Biden said that Obama was “story book”. He is: Pinocchio. But, instead of his nose growing when he lies, our National Debt does. And, his Political Patrons get richer.

Political Correctness and the Washington Redskins

political correctnessWhen ol’ Billy Shakespeare wrote,

What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

He most assuredly was not talking about an athletic team.

As you probably heard by now (if you’re now living under a rock like those guys in the Geico Commercial), the Forces of Political Correctness are aligning themselves in a concerted effort to force the NFL’s Washington Redskins to change the name of the storied franchise.

However, just as Liberals are wont to, they disregard whether as many people are as offended as they think there  are.

Foxnews.com reports that

Two Washington D.C. radio stations have pulled advertisements paid for by a group calling on the NFL’s Washington Redskins to change their name.

The ad was scheduled to air this weekend on WJFK-FM, a sports-talk station, and WPGC-FM, a so-called “Rhythmic” station. Paid for by the Oneida Indian Nation, the spot called for Redskins owner Daniel Snyder to change the team’s nickname, which it has had since 1933.

“By changing his team’s name, Mr. Snyder can create a better historical legacy for himself — one of tolerance and mutual respect, not of racial epithets,” reads part of the ad’s script. “Native Americans do not want their people to be hurt by such painful epithets. We just want to be treated as what we all are: Americans.”

According to the Washington Post, Steve Swenson, senior vice president of CBS Radio Washington, said in an e-mail to the Oneida Indian Nation that “[b]ased on the amount of on-air debate, adding paid commercials from one side is not something that we think is beneficial for this discussion and for our audience.” Both WJFK and WPGC are owned by CBS Radio.

“It is unfortunate and un-American that the station permits the team to slander Native Americans on the public airwaves with the use of the r-word, but doesn’t permit Native Americans to use the same airwaves to object to the use of a racial slur,” Oneida Indian Nation spokesman Ray Halbritter told the Post.

Ads calling on the Redskins to change the team’s name have aired in every market where Washington has played this season. The Redskins host the Chicago Bears Sunday afternoon. Snyder has vowed never to change the team’s name.

The Oneida Indian Nation may Object, but that doesn’t mean that all Indians object to the name, as ABC News Reports…

There are Native American schools that call their teams Redskins. The term is used affectionately by some natives, similar to the way the N-word is used by some African-Americans. In the only recent poll to ask native people about the subject, 90 percent of respondents did not consider the term offensive, although many question the cultural credentials of the respondents.

All of which underscores the oft-overlooked diversity within Indian Country.

“Marginalized communities are too often treated monolithically,” said Carter Meland, a professor of American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota.

“Stories on the mascot issue always end up exploring whether it is right or it is wrong, respectful or disrespectful,” said Meland, an Ojibwe Indian.

He believes Indian mascots are disrespectful, but said: “It would be interesting to get a sense of the diversity of opinion within a native community.”

Those communities vary widely.

Tommy Yazzie, superintendent of the Red Mesa school district on the Navajo Nation reservation, grew up when Navajo children were forced into boarding schools to disconnect them from their culture. Some were punished for speaking their native language. Today, he sees environmental issues as the biggest threat to his people.

The high school football team in his district is the Red Mesa Redskins.

“We just don’t think that (name) is an issue,” Yazzie said. “There are more important things like busing our kids to school, the water settlement, the land quality, the air that surrounds us. Those are issues we can take sides on.”

“Society, they think it’s more derogatory because of the recent discussions,” Yazzie said. “In its pure form, a lot of Native American men, you go into the sweat lodge with what you’ve got — your skin. I don’t see it as derogatory.”

Neither does Eunice Davidson, a Dakota Sioux who lives on the Spirit Lake reservation in North Dakota. “It more or less shows that they approve of our history,” she said.

Political Correctness is actually nothing more than censorship. It’s a censorship of words, thoughts,  even dreams, by people who believe that not only are they the “smartest people on the room” but also the most caring.

And, because, in their own minds, they are the “smartest people on the room”, Liberals do not care what you and I think about the efforts toward changing the name of an NFL Franchise, they just want to show America and the wide, wide World how enlightened they are.

Pay no attention to the storied history of the Washington Franchise.,, say the Liberals, it is more important that those aggrieved get the notoriety that they deserve…and possible some remuneration.

Who will the Liberals try to get to get of their name, next? The Atlanta Braves, the Florida State Seminoles?

Distinguished actor Gary Oldham, Commissioner Gordon of Batman fame said that,

Political correctness has become a straightjacket.

Indeed it has.

archiesammyIf there had been this straightjacket in place back in the 1970s, Archie Bunker’s chair would not be sitting in a place of prominence in the Smithsonian Museum, as a tribute to one of the most successful, ground-breaking shows in television histor. “All in the Family”, revolved around an average working class stiff in New York. The program, produced by Norman Lear (himself a politically-active Liberal) made us laugh at our own misconceptions, while showing us that “sticks and stones, or life’s vicissitudes, may break our bones, or our hearts, but words will never hurt us”, and turned a character, who was originally planned to be an example of a  hateful bigot, into a beloved television icon, as Americans identified with Archie…laughing with him, instead of at him.

This push to change the name of the Washington Redskins, led by a bunch of wussified “smartest people in the room”, including President Barack Hussein Obama, is , as ol’ Billy Shakespeare would have described it,

“Much Ado About Nothing”.

The Republican Civil War: Bold Colors Vs. Pale Pastels

Cartoon-Cruz-Vs-Establishment-600Three years after the now-legendary Grassroots Movement known as “The Tea Party”, the Republican Party is in a state of disarray and discontent, to put it mildly. The Republican Establishment, or Vichy Republicans, as I have dubbed them, are desperately clinging to the Washingtonian Status Quo: reaching across the aisle, and going along to get along, known non-politically as “caving in”, while pushing potential Presidential Candidates for 2016 whose platforms are so similar to those of their potential Democrat Opponents are to be virtually indistinguishable.

Oblivious of their past failures (i.e., Dole, McCain, and Romney), while pursuing their milksop Political Philosophy, the Vichy Republicans, or GOPe, as an internet friend has named them, cling to their mission to hold onto their cushy Seats of Power, by playing an old, tired political game.

Make no mistake, they will defend the Washingtonian Status Quo to their last breath, and savage anyone who threatens it, with the help of their allies from “across the aisle”, the Democrats and their minions in the Main Stream media. Look at how they have attacked Former Alaskan Governor and Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate, Sarah Palin., and now the Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.

They have called them both everything but Children of God.

However, they are not the first Conservative Republican Politicians to be attacked in this manner, in this generation.  That honor belonged to the greatest United States President in our lifetime.

On March 1, 1975, the Great Communicator and Future President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan, spoke the following words at the 2nd Annual CPAC Convention. He may as well have been speaking yesterday.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

Let us show that we stand for fiscal integrity and sound money and above all for an end to deficit spending, with ultimate retirement of the national debt.

Let us also include a permanent limit on the percentage of the people’s earnings government can take without their consent.

Let our banner proclaim a genuine tax reform that will begin by simplifying the income tax so that workers can compute their obligation without having to employ legal help.

And let it provide indexing — adjusting the brackets to the cost of living — so that an increase in salary merely to keep pace with inflation does not move the taxpayer into a surtax bracket. Failure to provide this means an increase in government’s share and would make the worker worse off than he was before he got the raise.

Let our banner proclaim our belief in a free market as the greatest provider for the people. Let us also call for an end to the nit-picking, the harassment and over-regulation of business and industry which restricts expansion and our ability to compete in world markets.

Let us explore ways to ward off socialism, not by increasing government’s coercive power, but by increasing participation by the people in the ownership of our industrial machine.

Our banner must recognize the responsibility of government to protect the law-abiding, holding those who commit misdeeds personally accountable.

And we must make it plain to international adventurers that our love of peace stops short of “peace at any price.”

We will maintain whatever level of strength is necessary to preserve our free way of life.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

Timeless Advice.

Here’s some from ol’ KJ, if I may be so bold: you members of the Republican Establishment need to climb down off of your bar stools at the Congressional Country Club, and travel outside the Echo Chamber of the Beltway, where actual, average Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, trying to provide for their families, while attempting to make a better life for their children and grandchildren.

Come on down to Mississippi and sit a spell and have some barbecue, sweet tea, and ‘nana puddin’ with us average Americans, instead of hanging out with Obama at the White House and partaking of Arugula and Wagyu Beef.

You want to know why Folks like Sarah Palin, Mike Lee, and Ted Cruz are so popular with average, real-life Americans (as opposed to statistics in an anonymous poll)?

Check out the pictures from a week ago Saturday of the Veterans March on Washington. They were there, GOPe. Why weren’t you?

Obamacare: The Failure of Healthcare.Gov Due to Old-Fashioned Political Shenanigans

obamadoctorRemember all the promises that President Obama made concerning his plan for a National Healthcare System?

It was going to be the great thing since sliced bread. Millions would have access to “affordable Healthcare”.

Well, to say that Scooter’s Signature Program’s Launch has not lived up to expectations is like saying The Titanic ran into an ice cube.

There are more problems with this fiasco than you can shake a stick at.

For example, let’s look at the first point-of-contact with the program for an American Insurance-seeker: the website, Healthcare.gov.

According to reuters.com…

A Reuters review of government documents shows that the contract to build the federal Healthcare.gov online insurance website – key to President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare reform – tripled in potential total value to nearly $292 million as new money was assigned to the work beginning in April this year.

The increase coincided with warnings from federal and state officials that the information technology underlying the online marketplaces, or exchanges, where people could buy Obamacare health insurance was in trouble.

In March, Henry Chao, deputy chief information officer at the lead Obamacare agency, said at an insurance-industry meeting that he was “pretty nervous” about the exchanges being ready by October 1, adding, “let’s just make sure it’s not a third-world experience.” At the same event, his colleague Gary Cohen said, “Everyone recognizes that day one will not be perfect.”

The contract to build Healthcare.gov, issued to the CGI Federal unit of Montreal-based CGI Group, has come under scrutiny after the site, offering new subsidized health insurance in 36 states, stalled within minutes of its October 1 launch, leaving millions of Americans unable to create accounts or shop for plans.

In its third week of operations, the website continues to experience problems, which government officials say they are working day and night to repair. Even allies of the Obama administration have been highly critical, with former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs calling it “excruciatingly embarrassing” and calling for “some people” to be fired.

How and why the system failed, and how long it will take to fix, remains unclear. But evidence of a last-minute surge in spending suggests the needs of the project were growing well beyond the initial expectations of the contractor and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“Why this went from a ceiling of $93.7 million to $292 million is hard to fathom,” said Scott Amey, general counsel at the Project on Government Oversight, a Washington, D.C.-based watchdog group that analyzes government contracting.

“Something changed. It suggests they ran into problems and knew last spring that they couldn’t do it for $93.7 million. They just blew through the original ceiling. Where was the contract oversight?”

Just who is the CGI Group? What sort of reputation did they have, even before they built this massive failure of a website?

According to a website, out of Fairfax County, VA, fairfaxunderground.com

Canadian provincial health officials last year fired the parent company of CGI Federal, the prime contractor for the problem-plagued Obamacare health exchange websites, the Washington Examiner has learned.

CGI Federal’s parent company, Montreal-based CGI Group, was officially terminated in September 2012 by a Ontario government health agency after the firm missed three years of deadlines and failed to deliver the province’s flagship online medical registry.

The online registry was supposed to be up and running by June 2011.

The CMS officials refused to say if federal officials knew of its parent company’s IT failure in Canada when awarding the six contracts.

It wasn’t just those contracts. As mentioned earlier, Obama dumped huge amounts of money on CGI.

CGI Federal is a subsidiary of Montreal-based CGI Group. With offices in Fairfax, Va., the subsidiary has been a darling of the Obama administration, which since 2009 has bestowed it with $1.4 billion in federal contracts, according to USAspending.gov.

HHS is by far the single largest federal contractor of CGI, showering it with $645 million in contracts. The Defense Department pays the Canadian company $254 million, the EPA $58 million and the Justice Department $36 million.

In comparison, in 2008, under President George W. Bush, CGI contracts totaled only $16.5 million for all federal departments and agencies.

The interesting question is why Obama dumped 1.4 billion in taxpayer money on a company this incompetent and ignored all the warnings.

It’s one more thing that ought to be investigated.

I agree. Let’s investigate. With any corporation, all negotiations begin with the CEO.  CGI Group, Inc. is no different.

Allow me to introduce you to Mr. George Schindler…

Mr. George D. Schindler has been the President of United States and Canada at CGI Group Inc. since January 2013 and served as the President U.S. Operations since October 2011. As a member of CGI’s Management Committee, Mr. Schindler also participates in the development and execution of CGI’s global strategy. Mr. Schindler served as the President of Stanley, Inc. since August 2010. Mr. Schindler served as the President of CGI Federal Inc. from 2006 to October 1, 2011, where he led CGI’s business with the Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Sectors of the U.S. government. Under his leadership, CGI Federal was named the 2010 Greater Washington U.S. Government Contractor of the Year (greater than $300 million) by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, PSC and Washington Technology. CGI was also named one of the “9 Hot Companies to Watch” by Federal Computer Week.

In August 2012, Schindler donated $1,000 to Obama’s Re-Election Campaign, according to opensecrets.org. However, by then, his company had already secured the contract to build the website.

That donation was made at the very same time that a bunch of business leaders, including Schindler, met with the president at the White House, to talk about “insourcing”, a pleasant little term which the Administration made up to describe their pleading with American Corporations not to move their assets out of the country to get away from all the taxes that the same Obama Administration was penalizing them with.

Informationweek.com reported at the time that…

“You’ve heard of outsourcing. Well, these companies are insourcing,” the president said. “That’s exactly the kind of commitment to country that we need–especially right now, when we’re in a make-or-break moment for the middle class and those aspiring to get to the middle class here in the United States.”

Obama added: “When a lot of folks are still looking for work, now is the time for us to step on the gas.” And while he gave a nod to what he said were the “the bottom line” benefits of sourcing domestically, Obama asserted “a moral case” for insourcing.

Great sound bites, especially in a political season where attention is focused on 99 percenters, Occupy protesters, and general class warfare. But here’s the reality: There’s no broad trend toward insourcing, but there is a recognition that the pressure to cut costs over the past decade led many companies to push the envelope on offshoring a bit too far, and that it’s time for some rebalancing.

…CGI Group is a midsize tech services company based in Quebec, with offices in more than 40 U.S. locations as well as centers in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, India. CGI employs roughly 10,000 workers in the U.S. and 20,000 elsewhere.

Of late, the company has been opening development centers in small U.S. towns such as Belton, Texas, Lebanon, Va., and Troy, Ala. CGI U.S. president George Schindler, who attended Obama’s insourcing summit, told me that such locales are becoming more cost competitive with India and offer a pool of untapped IT talent that can add some geographic balance to CGI’s workforce.

“These are areas that have been harder hit by the downturn than others, but they offer a set of dynamics that are working in our favor,” Schindler told me following his visit to the White House. “They offer a great cost of living, they are motivated from a local government perspective, and there’s partnerships with community colleges that can train people in the skills we need. It makes an attractive cost case, whereas the opposite is happening in some other parts of the world.”

As for creating jobs in the U.S., Schindler says it’s great to be able to contribute to local communities. “But it’s business first–the economics have to be there,” he says.

Since Schindler had already secured the Healthcare.gov contract, several months before Obama’s “Insourcing” Meeting, that means that the August 2012 meeting was, like everything else Obama does, a Dog and Pony Show, held for the purpose of Propaganda.

And, as reported above, Schindler’s Corporation had already been “outsourcing” to Canada., where their work was “less than stellar”, to say the least.

To summarize, the failure of Obama’s Rollout of Obamacare , specifically, his miserable excuse of a website, is the result of old-fashioned, “you-scratch-my-back-I’ll-scratch-your’s” political shenanigans.

How’s that “Hope and Change” thingy workin’ out for y’all?

President Obama Told You to Ignore Me

obamabillofrightsI don’t know why the president wants you to ignore me. I mean, what harm can my daily posts, which I have been writing since April of 2010, do to the Leader of the Free World? After all, he has the entire Federal Government at his disposal, along with the Democrat Party and, now it seems, a majority of the Republican Party, as well. However, yesterday, he appeared on national television and said,

Because we’ve all got a lot of work to do on behalf of the American people – and that includes the hard work of regaining their trust. Our system of self-government doesn’t function without it. And now that the government is reopened, and this threat to our economy is removed, all of us need to stop focusing on the lobbyists, and the bloggers, and the talking heads on radio, and the professional activists who profit from conflict, and focus on what the majority of Americans sent us here to do – and that’s grow this economy, create good jobs, strengthen the middle class, lay the foundation for broad-based prosperity, and get our fiscal house in order for the long haul.

Why does he want you to ignore me? After all, I’m just a little nobody. Heck, I don’t even get paid to write. It’s just something I do to vent. I do it because I enjoy it. I’m just an average Christian American, living an average life, in one of the “57 states”, as the president once referred to our country.

Obama is supposedly the smartest person in any room he walks into. Just ask the Main Stream Media…they will confirm that. And, if they won’t…Obama most certainly will.

How does little ol’ me threaten the most powerful man on the face of the world?

Is he intimidated by “words, just words” from anonymous Americans? Surely he isn’t. (And, don’t call me Shirley.) He mentioned “regaining the trust” of the American people. Coming out the day after the opposition party capitulated to you against the wishes of their Conservative Base, and calling out that same base, in no uncertain terms, reminds me of an imperious, didactic visiting lecturer, who believes that he intrinsically knows more that every student in his classroom. (Oh wait. That used to be you, at the University of Chicago, didn’t it, Mr. President? Oops. My bad.)

Being petulant and arrogant will not help you “win back America’s trust”, Scooter. Especially, since you never had it in the first place.

As far as growing the economy, that is the job of American Entrepreneurs. You remember them, don’t you Mr. President? They’re the ones whom you have taxed and penalized so harshly that they moved their businesses overseas.

Socialism does not lead to prosperity, sir. It has been tried numerous times…and has failed wherever it was put in place.  Capitalism leads to prosperity. All it takes is hard work, inspiration, and perspiration.

It takes Pookie getting off the coach, and earning her own money, instead of living off of those Americans who actually go to a job everyday.

During your “I won” Speech yesterday, you also said,

Those of us who have the privilege to serve this country have an obligation to do our job as best we can. We come from different parties, but we are Americans first. And that’s why disagreement cannot mean dysfunction. It can’t degenerate into hatred. The American people’s hopes and dreams are what matters, not ours. Our obligations are to them. Our regard for them compels us all, Democrats and Republicans, to cooperate, and compromise, and act in the best interests of our nation –- one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

Allow me to translate. after all, ignorant ol’ crackas like myself, living here in America’s Heartland, may have trouble understanding a brilliant Hahvahd Graduate like yourself. What I believe you were saying was…

All of you peons need to understand who is charge around here. Dissent will not be tolerated. You will bow down and obey my commands, fulfilling my desire to make America a socialist nation. If you disagree with me, I will pout. Then, I will call you out, in front of the Main Stream Media, who will then attack you like a bunch of coyotes attacking a wounded deer. Placating the 47% is what is important…for as long as we give them their “benefits”, we Democrats will keep getting re-elected. And, if you Vichy Republicans want to keep your perks and privileged status, you will shut up and go along with whatever I want. Because, whatever I want, is what is best for the country…regardless of what Americans actually want. After all…what do they know?

Now, some of you may think that I am being a bit harsh with my translation. However, when you think about the present state of America The Beautiful, the harsh reality is…I was not harsh enough. There is no doubt in my mind that our Founding Fathers would be highly upset with today’s professional politicians and the Petulant President. Jefferson, Franklin, and Madison would read Congress the Riot Act. Gen. Washington would probably bust ol’ Scooter right in the proboscis.

You see, President Obama, that last line you threw in there: “one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all”…when you say it, it reeks of unfathomable hypocrisy.

For the last 5 years, you have done your best to divide this nation, through your rhetoric espousing Class Warfare.

You have sought to limit American Christians’ daily walk with God, while glorifying the political ideology of Islam, even though their most ardent practitioners want to behead each and every American, while American Christians simply want to be allowed to speak to someone who needs to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ.

As far as liberty and justice are concerned, you and your Administration seem to be more concerned about protecting the “rights” of illegal immigrants, the Occupy Movement and Muslim Terrorists, than the rights of American Veterans to visit the National Monuments built to honor their sacrifice on our behalf.

To repeat my original question: What harm can my daily posts, which I have been writing since April of 2010, do to the Leader of the Free World?

Sunshine illuminates everything.

The Shutdown: The Surrender of the GOP Elite

Republicans Vs. Tea PartyUnited we stand, Divided we fall. – Aesop

As my mind began to attempt to wrap itself around the sorry events of yesterday, the ancient saying above, came to mind.

I was going to say that no other words describe the present-day Republican Party as well, but, that would be wrong. I can think of several words to describe the Republican Establishment, or Vichy Republicans, as I dubbed them, a while back. However, forbearance precludes me from using those words, lest I “lose my witness”. (That’s a Southern Evangelical thang, y’all. Ask somebody.)

The Republican Party, itself, is right on the verge of a Civil War. You have the Vichy Republicans, the Moderate Republican Elite, who firmly believe that they speak for all Republicans, even though most of them have been up on Capital Hill so long, their chauffeur has to use a Garmin GPS to find their way back to their constituency. (Pardon me…but do you have any Gray Poupon?)

Opposing the Vichy Republicans are the Tea Party, or Reagan, Republicans. These are public servants who were elected on the promise to cut government spending, and shrink the size of the Federal Government, while opposing the policies of President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) at every turn. The Tea Party Republicans are Conservatives who were placed in office during the Great Purge, otherwise known as the Mid-Term Elections of 2010.

They were, of course, named for the Grassroots Movement who put them in office.

As opposed to the Vichy Republicans, they truly seem to be down-to-earth individuals, with a servant’s heart, as was proven recently by Senators Mike Lee and Ted Cruz’s speaking to the Veterans last weekend, during their March on Washington, along with their gracious supporter, Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin.

As a result of their popularity and attempts to go to Washington and get something done, the Tea Party Republicans have been vilified during the entire Government Shutdown Ordeal, by the Democrats, the Main Stream Media, and the Vichy Republicans.

The Vichy Republicans have responded to the Tea Party Republicans, as if they are jealous of and embarrassed by the zealousness and popularity of these political “newcomers”, who have stolen their thunder. These “do-gooders” cramp their style and disrupt the Washingtonian Status Quo.

Sen. Ted Cruz has been their biggest target, as his charisma and common sense have made him one of the Tea Party Movements favorite politicians. Just as Sarah Palin before him, he is being called everything but a child of God

Every since his “Not-a-Filibuster” against Obamacare, leading up to the Government Shutdown, the MSM, the Democrats, and the Vichy Republicans have formed a new “Axis” (to borrow a World War II term) , launching a smear campaign against the Senator From Texas, who dares to call them out, concerning their nefarious duplicity and political maneuvering.

It’s high time someone did.

As Former Representative, Lt. Col. Allen West (another Tea Party Favorite) observed yesterday,

I’m watching the spectacle occurring on the Senate floor. They have passed the 60 vote threshold for ending cloture. I want the American people to understand that tonight the Constitutional Republic we know as America has suffered a horrible defeat. Obamacare is not the law of the land. It is an edict handed down by a tyrant, not a President. The US Senate has just voted to affirm a new precedent that the executive branch can amend law without Congressional approval, and Congress allows it. The waivers, exemptions, and delays implemented by President Obama have delineated a separation, not of powers, but between the political elite and their cronies – and you, my fellow Americans. This is reprehensible, and we can expect even more bad behavior from a President that continues to spit on our Constitution and in our eyes…and smile. The incessant government spending continues with no solution for economic growth. Anyone voting for this tonight owes some explaining to Americans….but maybe not. As Obama stated, “I won.”

After Lt. Col. West watched that spectacle, he was treated to another, as the House of Representatives, led by the Spelunker of the House,  Cryin’ John Boehner, passed the Senate Bill, completing the capitulation, and another sell-out of the Republican Party’s Conservative Base.

The problem with all of the old Vichy Republicans, is the fact that they have been up on Capital Hill so long, the lines between ethical and unethical, and public-serving behavior and self-serving behavior, in their minds, have become blurred.

For instance, within Sen. McConnell/Sen. Reid’s bill,, it has been discovered that the bill includes a nearly $3 billion earmark for a Kentucky project.

Language in a draft of the McConnell-Reid deal (see page 13, section 123)shows a provision that increases funding for the massive Olmsted Dam Lock in Paducah, Ky., from $775 million to nearly $2.9 billion.

Nothing like a little pork to insure your re-election by the home folks, huh, Sen. McConnell?

It seems to me that the Republican Establishment have reacted to the resurgence of the Tea Party Republicans, like, excuse the expression, a bunch of cockroaches in the kitchen, scurrying for cover when the lights got turned on them.

When they regrouped from the initial shock, they became even more determined that no one, and I mean, no one, would disrupt “business as usual” in Washington, DC. Not Cruz, Lee, Palin, West, or any of us “smelly” Conservatives, living in America’s Heartland.

This obstinate “smartest people in the room” conceit, led directly to the spectacle that Lt. Col. West and the rest of us watched  yesterday.

The last time people saw something like that, was when the French Soldiers, defending their country from the German Invasion in World War II, dropped their rifles, and ran like scalded dogs.

Same thing.

The Shutdown: The Blame is Obama’s. Period.

chickenlittleSo, will this be the day that Boehner or McConnell go ahead and end the Government Shutdown, capitulating to the Petulant President, completing the caving-in process and once again selling out the Conservative Base of the Republican Party?

Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen, because their failures yesterday sure weren’t from a lack of trying, as The New York Times reports…

With the federal government on the brink of a default, a House Republican effort to end the shutdown and extend the Treasury’s borrowing authority collapsed Tuesday night as a major credit agency warned that the United States was on the verge of a costly ratings downgrade.

After the failure of the House Republican leadership to find enough support for its latest proposal to end the fiscal crisis, the Senate’s Democratic and Republican leaders immediately restarted negotiations to find a bipartisan path forward. A spokesman for Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, said Mr. Reid was “optimistic that an agreement is within reach” with Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader.

With so little time left, chances rose that a resolution would not be approved by Congress and sent to President Obama before Thursday, when the government is left with only its cash on hand to pay the nation’s bills.

“It’s very, very serious,” warned Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona. “Republicans have to understand we have lost this battle, as I predicted weeks ago, that we would not b able to win because we were demanding something that was not achievable.”

A day that was supposed to bring Washington to the edge of resolving the fiscal showdown instead seemed to bring chaos and retrenching. And a bitter fight that had begun over stripping money from the president’s signature health care law had essentially descended in the House into one over whether lawmakers and their staff members would pay the full cost of their health insurance premiums, unlike most workers at American companies, and how to restrict the administration from using flexibility to extend the debt limit beyond a fixed deadline.

Even so, the House speaker, John A. Boehner, Republican of Ohio, and his leadership team failed in repeated, daylong attempts to bring their troops behind any bill that would reopen the government and extend the Treasury’s debt limit on terms significantly reduced from their original push against funding for the health care law. The House’s hard-core conservatives and some more pragmatic Republicans were nearing open revolt, and the leadership was forced twice to back away from proposals it had floated, the second time sending lawmakers home for the night to await a decision on how to proceed Wednesday.

So, as this new Soap Opera, “While Congress Turns”, proceeds, all attention has been diverted from the the individual who is actually responsible for this unholy mess, President Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm).

His refusal to negotiate..about anything…was brought into focus yesterday by, of all people, Former CIA Director and Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta (a Clinton Loyalist).speaking at a Breakfast Meeting

“We govern either by leadership or crisis. . . . If leadership is not there, then we govern by crisis,” Panetta said at the start of the session, sponsored by The Wall Street Journal. “Clearly, this town has been governing by crisis after crisis after crisis.”

Which raised the obvious question: What does this say about the president’s leadership?

Several observations ensued. “This town has gotten a lot meaner in the last few years.” Relationships have deteriorated. Redistricting into safe seats hasn’t helped. Neither has the explosion of money in campaigns, or the elimination of earmarks. (Negotiating one Clinton budget, Panetta recalled, “I think I sold about six bridges to get there.”)

Then, to Obama. “This president — he’s extremely bright, he’s extremely able, he’s somebody who I think certainly understands the issues, asks the right questions, and I think has the right instincts about what needs to be done for the country.”

Next came the “but” — without a name but with a clear message. “You have to engage in the process. This is a town where it’s not enough to feel you have the right answers. You’ve got to roll up your sleeves and you’ve got to really engage in the process . . . that’s what governing is all about.”

The difference between “Bubba” Clinton and “Scooter” Obama is a huge one. As Panetta points out, Bubba is a people person. Scooter is not. As long as Obama has himself, he will never be alone.

Bubba is the kind of guy whom, despite the fact that he’s a Liberal Democrat and morally reprehensible,  you could sit next to, at the counter at the Waffle House, and have a pleasant conversation with.

On the other hand, in Obama’s eyes, we are all filthy Capitalistic Colonials…oppressive, brutish people, whose antiquated system of ethics and values, based on American Christianity and Patriotism, needs to be “radically changed” by social experimentation, Executive Order, and huge, government-expanding laws, which nobody wants, such as the so-far-disastrous “Affordable Care Act”, passed in the middle of the night by a Congress, controlled by mindless minions, who, to this day, have no idea what is in the huge, horrible, life-changing bill that they passed.

The schadenfreude I have been experiencing, through watching the reactions of the young and dumb, when they realize that they are actually going to have to pay money for Obamacare Coverage, is priceless.

But, I digress…

I truly believe that Obama has never liked the concept of America. As others have written, he views our Blessed Land as being “just another flawed country”.

And now, having ascended to the Presidency, the punitive measures he has taken against our veterans and other citizens, by needlessly blocking admittance to our open-air National Parks and Monuments, show his true feelings toward the very Americans that he is supposed to be serving and protecting, in no uncertain terms.

As we head toward the “Fiscal Cliff”, if you want to know who the Head Lemming is…I’ll give you a clue: His name used to be Barry Soetoro.

The Shutdown: Clowns to the Left of Me…Jokers to the “Right”

clowncarAs the Government Shutdown wanes on, polls are coming out, seemingly every day, blaming the 17% Shutdown on Congress. Heck, some are even actually laying the blame on the shoulders of President Barack Hussein Obama, where is most certainly belongs.

As yesterday ended, Congress found themselves still without any sort of agreement, as the Wall Street Journal reports…

Top Senate leaders said they were within striking distance of an agreement Monday to reopen the federal government and defuse a looming debt crisis just days before the U.S. could run out of money to pay its bills.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) said on the Senate floor that the leaders had made “tremendous progress” toward a deal and that he was hopeful Tuesday would be a “bright day.” The Senate’s Republican leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, seconded Mr. Reid’s optimism. “We’ve had a good day,” he said.

The White House postponed a planned afternoon meeting of congressional leaders with President Barack Obama, saying the schedule change would give Senate leaders time to hash out a deal.

The latest proposal would reopen the government at current spending levels until Jan. 15 and extend the federal borrowing limit until early February, according to aides familiar with the talks. Lawmakers also would begin longer-term negotiations on the budget, with the task of reaching an agreement by Dec. 13.

Even before the deal was unveiled, it provoked grumbling Monday night among restive House Republicans. Mr. McConnell said Monday he expected to “get a result that will be acceptable to both sides.”

By setting up yet another series of fiscal deadlines, the agreement, if embraced, would carry the hallmark of other deadline-driven deals that have become typical of the increasingly polarized Capitol.

“Everybody realizes that whatever happens, we’re going to be litigating this another day,” said Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, a member of the Senate GOP leadership.

…Republicans who entered the budget battle determined to gut the health law have steadily scaled back their demands in the face of Democratic resistance. Still, many could find it hard to accept the Senate proposal, especially if it makes no changes to the health law.

Some House Republicans would likely resist the deal, putting House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) in a tight spot.

Mr. Boehner could face a rebellion from the House’s most fiscally conservative lawmakers, many of whom were elected with tea-party support. That would force Mr. Boehner to rely on Democrats to pass the Senate measure.

The lack of immediate spending cuts, as well as the absence of major changes to the health law, could prompt conservative opposition.

“I can’t vote for something that doesn’t have substantive spending cuts right now,” said Rep. Joe Barton (R., Texas).

Many House Republicans declined to comment until they saw the final Senate proposal. Some still were smarting from Mr. Obama’s decision to end discussions with them on Friday, which effectively sidelined the House GOP and accelerated talks in the Senate. The House offer abandoned many of the GOP’s initial policy demands. It would have raised the debt ceiling for six weeks without making other policy changes. But it didn’t appear to contain any explicit agreement to reopen the government immediately.

“We believed that we could have worked with the president,” said Rep. Pete Sessions (R., Texas) “and then the president dropped us like a hot potato.”

There is actually more animus from the House Republicans toward the RINOs in the Senate, than the WSJ alluded to, as Breitbart.com tells us…

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), chair of the House Budget Committee, told conservative talk radio host Charlie Sykes Monday morning that House Republicans had demanded a one-year delay in Obamacare’s individual mandate, along with an end to congressional exemptions, while offering a six-week debt ceiling hike to allow room for negotiations on broader budget issues. The offer was made to President Barack Obama last Thursday.

President Obama, said Ryan, listened but declined to respond. In the meantime, Ryan said, it became clear the president was negotiating separately to obtain more favorable terms from Senate Republicans, trying to “jam” the House Republicans in the process. Ryan told Sykes that Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had “overplayed their hand” in attempting to prolong the crisis to maximize political damage to Republicans.

Ryan described the delay to the individual mandate as an “obvious” step to take, given that technical issues with the Obamacare exchanges might prevent the mandate from being enforced at all. “We could have spent the weekend putting an agreement together that says we’re gonna deal with the debt, we’re gonna deal with this economy, and we’re gonna fix these big flaws in Obamacare, or at least give people delays in these penalties.”

While Ryan actually makes a good point, concerning delaying the Individual Mandate, that is like using a slingshot to bring down an elephant.

The fact of the matter is that Americans do not want Obamacare…period…as proven by the fact that only 51,000 nationally, signed up for Obamacare in its first week.

That is less Americans than attend a College or Professional Football Game.

Evidently, the Manchurian President feels like he can more easily con the old RINO’s in the Senate, like McConnell, McCain, and Graham, who have been publicly bashing Conservatives for a while now, including the last week, than he can Cryin’ John and Company, in the House.

Meanwhile, average Americans, like you and me, are forced to watch these clowns and jokers, as they hurl accusations at one another, making Capital Hill and the White House sound more like a Daycare Center, rather than the Seat of Government.

Judging from the fact that Obama is the one who refuses to negotiate…

I’d say that somebody needs a nap.

The Shutdown: The Million Vet March

veterans marchYesterday was a very special day in this country. Our Brightest and Best, along with other Patriotic Americans, including Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, and Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, gathered for a celebration of American Freedom, and a protest against tyranny.

Per foxnews.com…

Veterans marched on Sunday in Washington in protest of the partial government shutdown that has kept them and other Americans from visiting war memorials across the country, with support from several star conservatives.

“This is the people’s memorial,” Texas Sen. Ted Cruz told a crowd of several hundred gathered near the WWII Memorial on the closed National Mall, which has become a national symbol of the shutdown and the country’s response. “Simple question: Why is the federal government spending money to keep veterans out of the memorial? Why did they spend money to keep people out of Mount Vernon, Mount Rushmore? Our veterans should be above political games.”

Veterans, including many in wheelchairs, took down police barricades and entered the memorial at about midday as others took the protest to the edge of the White House South Lawn.

“Today somebody’s wife [or] husband is dead in Afghanistan. Is somebody going to pay her husband [or] his wife or their children?” one protester shouted at the White House, referring to the partial shutdown cutting off benefits for the survivors of military personnel.

Some of the metal barricades were carried the roughly half-mile walk from the memorial to the White House, where they were left near the fence in front of Pennsylvania Avenue.

A man was arrested at the event in connection with bringing at least one gun in a bag.

A witness named Jacob Reed told Fox News the man was standing in line to talk to Washington Republican Rep. David G. Reichert.

Reed said a police officer asked the man what he was doing, then asked him to take his bag off his back. The man complied and said the bag contained a bunch of firearms, at which point he was handcuffed and taken into custody.

Cruz was joined by 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, on a gray, rainy day in the nation’s capital.

“Veterans have proven they are not timid. And we will not be timid in calling out anybody that uses the military as pawns,” Palin told the crowd assembled at the Million Vet March on Memorials. “We can only be America, home of the free, if we are America, home of the brave.”

Protesters shouting “U.S.A.” and “Tear down these walls” put the blame squarely on President Obama and Democratic congressional leaders.

“In a mean-spirited fit of selfish anger, Barack Obama has shut down our nation’s war memorials,” march organizers said in a press release. “And he has declared open war on our honored veterans. The World War II memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, Obama has shut them all down to force his will on the House of Representatives and, frankly, to get revenge on the American people who oppose ObamaCare and his other naked power grabs.”

As America’s Veterans were exercising their Constitutional Rights, where was the Commander-in-Chief? Was he negotiating with Republicans to end the Government Shutdown? Did he go outside to address the tumultuous crowd outside his front door?

Oh, heck no.

According to reuters.com…

Just before noon, the White House gave the pool of reporters and photographers who travel with the president notice that it would be highly unlikely that Obama would leave the White House or speak publicly for the rest of the day.

Senator Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader, was slated to hold talks on Sunday with his Republican counterpart, Mitch McConnell, about how much to raise the debt ceiling, and how to end the ongoing government shutdown, now in its 13th day.

Obama made a series of high-profile public appearances during the early days of the shutdown, where he sought to blame Republicans for the fiscal impasse.

But Obama has stayed away from television cameras since he began meeting with lawmakers on Wednesday afternoon.

Vice President Joe Biden, who has close relationships with lawmakers who he served with during his long service in the U.S. Senate, also has stayed out of the public eye.

Biden’s schedule for the weekend showed that he and his wife Jill Biden would spend time at Camp David, the presidential retreat in rural Maryland.

“Maybe we need to get Joe Biden out of the witness protection program,” Republican Senator John McCain said on CBS Television’s “Face the Nation” program on Sunday morning, alluding to Biden’s legendary ability to clinch deals with Republicans.

Obama’s favorite President, Abraham Lincoln, had an Open Door Policy at the White House. Obama has just the opposite. Using the Sequester as an excuse, he stopped all public tours of the White House. However, that has not stopped him from entertaining lobbyists and friends, including the Muslim Brotherhood.

The protesters yesterday were met by Park Rangers in riot gear, mounted police, and helicopters, with armed men hanging off of the sides.

It was rumored that one of those helicopters took Obama away from the White House, in flight from the American Citizens he is supposed to be serving.

Obama’s punitive measures which he has unnecessarily taken against American Citizens, under the guise of the Government Shutdown, are the reason for the march, yesterday.

If Obama was in any hurry to undo these actions, he would have entered into negotiations with the Republicans to end the Shutdown.

However, being the petulant man-child that he is, he is not finished with his temper tantrum, yet.

Thanks to a bunch of American Heroes, though, he has some “Barry-cades” outside his front door to build a playpen with.

Until He Comes,
