The New Fascism (July 2nd, 2014 Edition)

White House Youth CorpsMy late father was one of thousands of brave young American men, who landed on the beaches of Normandy , France on June 6, 1944, in the military operation which broke the backs of the German National Socialist Party, leading to the end of World War II,  now known as D-Day.

World War II was a war against Fascism.

What is Fascism? Per merriam-webster.com, it is a

political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

Ladies and gentlemen, I firmly believe that America is now fighting a new war against fascism.

It’s not a war that is being fought fought with guns and bullets, but instead, with state referendums, Congressional votes, Executive Order, and Judicial Activism.

And, it’s not our Best and Brightest who are dying on this field of battle, but rather, it is our Constitutional Freedoms which are dying an ignoble death, pierced by the arrows of Socialism and Political Correctness.

By now, there’s some out there in the audience saying, “Oh Lord, the crazy old cracker’s overreacting again.”

No, Skippy, I’m not.

Not too long ago, the Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio, Rush Limbaugh, said the following,

You know as well as I do that people are scared to death to tell you what they really think. The left has politicized everything — everything — to the point that people are afraid to go against what they know to be political correctness, which is nothing more than liberal fascism, nothing more than censorship.

When Barack Hussein Obama assumed the position of President of the United States, the Far Left became empowered. Obama’s handlers saw the opportunity to “radically change” America into a Democratic Socialist Republic. You know, the kind of government that is currently failing over in Europe.

Every piece of legislation that Barack Hussein Obama has tried to get passed, has been designed to either overtly or covertly limit our freedom.

From the stimulus bill on through the latest changes to Obamacare by Executive Order, every single piece of legislation has been designed to further the Far Left’s agenda.

Remember when Obama was campaigning so hard to get the Affordable Health Care Act passed?

He always used people as props for his speeches, whether it was just normal people or people dressed in white coats like doctors.

When he was trying to get gun control passed, he used the parents from the Newtown Massacre in Connecticut as human props to try to get his repressive agenda passed.

The use of human props is an old propaganda trick, which was used by Joseph Goebbels to make his boss, Adolf Hitler, seem like a man of the people, who really cared about the German citizenry.

The use of propaganda to further the aims of a fascist governments is an old and effective method of camouflaging fascism, which Obama’s handlers realize all too well.

In addition to the use of human props during a speech, another strategy used in a propaganda campaign is to select an enemy and target them with the aid of a sympathetic press behind you.

During Hitler’s rise to power, the German Press demonized European Jews, betraying them as evil and money grubbing…painting them as being different from normal German citizens. It was this classification of the European Jews as the enemy that almost led to the extinction of them in that horrible attempted genocide, known as the Holocaust.

Now, in the early 21st century, the Far Left, the Democratic Party, and the Obama Administration (but, I repeat myself) are using propaganda to isolate and demonize average Americans, who through hard work, have risen to a high station in life or through their strong Christian faith and love of their country refuse to follow a popular culture-worshiping Administration, when it issues Executive Orders or has its Democratic Congress pass legislation which clearly contradicts the Word of God and the Judeo-Christian Belief System, upon which America was built.

Monday, President Obama declared, in a speech which was both petulant and divisive, that he was going to bypass the system of Checks and Balances, which our Founding Fathers put in place, in order to tackle Immigration Reform”. Through passing Executive Orders, Obama will declare to be citizens of the United States of America, tens of thousand of unvetted illegal aliens, bypassing all of the normal requirements for citizenship, including the Oath of Loyalty to the United States of America.

For all Obama knows, he will be granting amnesty to members of Hamas and al Qaeda, who crossed our Southern Borders, disguised as Mexicans and other Latin Americans.

If you try to talk to a liberal about this New Fascism, they will deny that there is any fascism going on at all. In fact, they will tell you that this is “the will of the people” and they will site Democratically-stacked push polls in order to back their opinion up.

When you ask them if , for example, “homosexual marriage” is the “will of the people”, why did voters in the overwhelming majority of states, including California, vote against it? And, if there is “no fascism”, what do you call the fact that 2% of the population is having activist judges overturn the actual will of the people in order to get their way, in their attempt to redefine a word that has meant the same thing since time immemorial, such as happened in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, yesterday?

In response, you will usually see their eyes glaze over, like a deer in the headlights.

Or, their response will be one of sputtering invectives, filled with condescension and seething rage. For example…

The Supreme Court’s Decision, in support of Hobby Lobby and Conestoga on Monday,produced a Liberal Meltdown of literally, and quite ironically, Biblical Proportions.

However, even with all of their ranting, raving, b!@#hing, cursing, and moaning, one thing became very clear:

Liberals can not legitimately defend the suppression of the First Amendment Rights of Christian Americans.

Fascism, in any form, remains indefensible.

Malfeasance in Mississippi: Cochran Campaign Accused of Buying Black Democratic Votes

It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer to sell his vote and it shall be likewise unlawful for any person to offer money or anything of substantial value to anyone for his vote. Anyone violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than Fifty Dollars ($ 50.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($ 500.00), or imprisoned not more than six (6) months, or both.

On Monday, news broke that new evidence had come out, regarding dirty politics being the cause of 40-year incumbent Thad Cochran’s narrow victory over TEA Party Favorite Chris McDaniel, in the race for Mississippi’s Senate Seat, a controversial victory, to say the least.

Word has already gotten out that the Cochran Campaign convinced Mississippi’s Black Democratic Voters to come to the polls in the recent Run-off Election, and vote for the ol’ cracka, a move hailed by Establishment Republicans as “brilliant political strategy” and denounced by Mississippi Conservatives as being “crooked as a dog’s hind leg”.

Breitbartnews.com reports that

Rev. Stevie Fielder, an associate pastor at First Union Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi, says Cochran’s campaign “told me to offer blacks $15 each and to vote for Thad.”

Fielder, who was paid by freelance journalist Charles C. Johnson for the story, provided a new outlet launched by Johnson—GotNews.com—with four text messages from a person purporting to be Cochran campaign staffer Saleem Baird.

The messages cite an official Cochran campaign email address—Saleem@ThadForMs.com—and include detailed discussions of the campaign providing envelopes of money to distribute to people who vote.

“Send me individual names and amounts along with home address to saleem@thadforms.com and I’ll have money separated in envelopes at the office waiting for you,” one message, sent three days before the runoff, says.

Fielder said he helped distribute the Cochran cash for votes on a promise of eventually getting paid $16,000—and because a key Cochran campaign staffer convinced him that Cochran’s conservative challenger state Sen. Chris McDaniel was racist.

“They sold me on the fact that he was a racist and that the right thing to do was to keep him out of office,” Fielder said.

But Cochran’s campaign never paid, Fielder said.

Fielder also now says he was wrong about McDaniel’s character. He said he “took a good look at the campaign ads” and came to understand that “McDaniel was not a racist.”

“Me and other people were misguided and misled,” Fielder said.

In a brief phone interview with Breitbart News, Fielder confirmed that he is an associate pastor at First Union Missionary Baptist Church and that he leveled the allegations in an interview with Johnson.

The Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics says, “Be wary of sources offering information for favors or money; avoid bidding for news.” Johnson defended paying for the story in an email, saying, “Why wouldn’t I pay for an awesome story?”

“Gawker, the Daily Mail, TMZ all pay for information (and they pay poorly, by the way). There’s also a long history of ‘checkbook journalism’ in America. I’m bringing it back. Indeed, every press baron in American history has relied on it. Pulitzer, Hearst, Luce, and, yes, Oprah are all supporters of it. David Frost paid for the Nixon tapes, goodness sake.”

Though Fielder himself has not been paid the $16,000 he claims he was promised for his services, he alleges he was given the enveloped cash to distribute amongst the black community in Mississippi in exchange for Cochran votes—and further alleges that others like him were similar given such cash. Fielder, a Democrat, says he has voted for Republicans in the past and that his motive to come forward with this information at this time is that he now thinks what he did was “wrong.” He says he was mostly motivated by the claims—which he now understands are untrue—that McDaniel was a racist, not by the money. “Definitely the election should not be allowed to stand,” Fielder said, adding that he’d support McDaniel in the event a judge orders a new runoff election as a result of alleged voter fraud. “He’s been done wrong,” Fielder said of McDaniel. “He’s not what they said that he is.”

In his interview with Johnson’s Got News outlet, Fielder says Baird was just one of the several Cochran staffers he interacted with about this matter pre-election. Fielder claims in his interview with Mr. Johnson that he also discussed the alleged vote buying matter with Cochran’s campaign manager Kirk Sims and a woman named “Amanda.”

Baird is a top legislative staffer for Cochran’s Mississippi U.S. Senate colleague Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS). In 2011, Baird was arrested because a club he was the manager of allegedly featured a strip show and allegedly did not have a license to feature women stripping. The charges were later dropped and Wicker kept Baird on as an employee.

Both before and after the recent election, the Mississippi State GOP have been calling for unity, no matter who won the run-off, like an abusive husband, begging his wife not to leave him.

The following excerpt is from the Hattiesburg American, posted on 6/29/2014:

“The same guys who have ridiculed and mocked not just the tea party but true conservatives are calling for unity,” said Roy Nicholson, founding chairman of the Mississippi Tea Party. “The same people who so villainously stabbed us in the back now call on us to elect the same person who they stabbed us over? … In two to six years, (the tea party) will be at the head of some party or another … We want smaller government, less taxes and more freedom. Since our Republican leadership refuses to listen to that, they have brought on the destruction of the Mississippi GOP.”

Tea party leaders and Chris McDaniel say the GOP establishment “stole” the U.S. Senate nomination from McDaniel by bringing in thousands of “liberal Democrats” to sway Tuesday’s runoff for Cochran. The Southwest Mississippi Tea Party on its Facebook site refers to the GOP establishment as the “Republican Mafia.”

McDaniel says he won the true Republican majority and is investigating a legal challenge. As he made national conservative talk show rounds last week, he was asked whether he would support Cochran and the state GOP if results stand.

He said he’s been praying about it, but still could not answer. McDaniel, now the voice for a large number of Mississippi Republicans — at the least roughly half, it would appear — said the party leadership appears to lack principles and conservatism and is no longer “the party of Reagan.”

State Republican Party Chairman Joe Nosef has been at the center of the primary maelstrom. Before the June 3 vote, tea party leaders called for his resignation, claiming he was in the bag for Cochran. They’re now calling on him to help overturn the runoff results.

Nosef has insisted the Republican divide is being overblown, that only a small but vocal group of tea party leaders are responsible for “all the vitriol” and “shenanigans” and that the Grand Old Party can be reunified in the Magnolia State.

“I’ve always felt there’s a big difference between the grassroots tea party folks and the leadership,” Nosef said. “I want to bring together the other 180,000 people who voted for Chris, and the ones who voted for Thad. I think we can do that.”

I’ve got two words for ya, Joe: FAT CHANCE.

It’s bad enough that the members of the Northeast Republicans’ Club, up in the Beltway, look down their noses as us “poor, ignorant, hard-working, blue-collar, stereotypical Mississippi Conservatives”. We are used to their opinion. It means nothing to us. We just consider the source.

But, for you guys to take the advice of tight-sphinctered Vichy Republicans, like John McCain, and alienate your entire Conservative Base, just so you can put Haley Barbour’s nephew in Cochran’s Senate seat, after he retires in a year of so, due to his old and feeble condition, completely dishonors your Southern Heritage of honor and gentility.

In fact, it makes y’all seem no better than a bunch of carpet baggers.

C’mon back to you, so you can abuse us some more?

Not unless the election is overturned.

The Hobby Lobby Decision: The First Amendment Holds. Religious Freedom Stands.

The Supreme Court, in a in a 5-4 ruling, found that “closely held” businesses do not have to provide contraception to their employees, if the ownership of said company opposes birth control on the grounds that it conflicts with the Religious Beliefs.

In other words, if you want to behave like Sandra Fluke, and if I am a business owner of a “closely held” business, I cannot be forced by the Obama Administration to provide your “protection”, either before or after that “special moment”.

Rush Limbaugh, per usual made an excellent point on his nationally-syndicated radio program, yesterday:

…the thinking everywhere on the left, is either Obama’s gonna pay for it from his stash like they think exists in Detroit, or the insurance company will be forced to pay for it. But they won’t pay for it, they’ll just bill it back to Hobby Lobby. (interruption) No, the principle stands, that’s the point. When all this is said and done, the Supreme Court still ruled that the federal government cannot make a “closely held” corporation violate its own personal religious beliefs. I’m gonna have to double-check this, but I really do think that in that sense we’ve not had a ruling this direct in that regard before, whatever the issue was. I think I saw that somewhere this morning in the mounds of show prep that I was going through.

Look, it means here that Obama cannot unilaterally dictate how religion is to be practiced via laws or regulations or executive orders. It means that the First Amendment is not a casual plaything for cavalier statists whether in the executive branch or whether in Congress. There also was another ruling on the union’s and whether or not parents and nannies taking care of their own loved ones at home can be forced to pay union dues, and that was rejected, too. The headline says: “Sweeping Loss for Unions.” Oh, horrible, the Supreme Court just dealt a devastating blow to public unions. But this one really is kind of narrow. But the principle still stands.

What is really important, yet really small in this case, is that even after the Hobby Lobby decision, women can still go to Target or Walmart and buy a month’s worth of conception for nine dollars. What’s kind of being overlooked here in all this — and we did look at it in great detail on the previous occasion on this program — is that somehow we’ve gotten to the point where women should not have to pay for their own birth control. Somebody else is gonna pay for it, no matter how much they want, no matter how often they want it, no matter for what reason, somebody else is going to pay for it. That’s the root of all this. The employer should pay it, the insurance company will pay it, but in no way in 2014 America are women going to being pay for it, even though you can go to Target or Walmart and get a month’s supply for nine bucks.

So the ruling does not apply to, say, an Exxon or a General Motors. That’s not a “closely held” corporation. But the Christian owners of Hobby Lobby cannot be forced to fund the contraception mandate. Their liberty was defended here, no matter how narrow the left wants to say the ruling was, no matter what the practical application is, when it’s all over the First Amendment was enforced, or maybe reinforced today.

On March 8, 1983, President Ronald Wilson Reagan gave a speech to the National Association of Evangelicals, which came to be know as the “Evil Empire Speech”. Here is an excerpt:

Well, I’m pleased to be here today with you who are keeping America great by keeping her good. Only through your work and prayers and those of millions of others can we hope to survive this perilous century and keep alive this experiment in liberty, this last, best hope of man.

I want you to know that this administration is motivated by a political philosophy that sees the greatness of America in you, her people, and in your families, churches, neighborhoods, communities–the institutions that foster and nourish values like concern for others and respect for the rule of law under God.

 Now, I don’t have to tell you that this puts us in opposition to, or at least out of step with, a–a prevailing attitude of many who have turned to a modern-day secularism, discarding the tried and time-tested values upon which our very civilization is based. No matter how well intentioned, their value system is radically different from that of most Americans. And while they proclaim that they’re freeing us from superstitions of the past, they’ve taken upon themselves the job of superintending us by government rule and regulation. Sometimes their voices are louder than ours, but they are not yet a majority. [Applause]

An example of that vocal superiority is evident in a controversy now going on in Washington. And since I’m involved, I’ve been waiting to hear from the parents of young America. How far are they willing to go in giving to government their prerogatives as parents?

Let me state the case as briefly and simply as I can. An organization of citizens, sincerely motivated, deeply concerned about the increase in illegitimate births and abortions involving girls well below the age of consent, some time ago established a nationwide network of clinics to offer help to these girls and, hopefully, alleviate this situation. Now, again, let me say, I do not fault their intent. However, in their well-intentioned effort, these clinics decided to provide advice and birth control drugs and devices to underage girls without the knowledge of their parents.

For some years now, the federal government has helped with funds to subsidize these clinics. In providing for this, the Congress decreed that every effort would be made to maximize parental participation. Nevertheless, the drugs and devices are prescribed without getting parental consent or giving notification after they’ve done so. Girls termed “sexually active”–and that has replaced the word “promiscuous”–are given this help in order to prevent illegitimate worth/birth (quickly corrects himself) eh or abortion.

Well, we have ordered clinics receiving federal funds to notify the parents such help has been given. [Applause] One of the nation’s leading newspapers has created the term “squeal rule” in editorializing against us for doing this, and we’re being criticized for violating the privacy of young people. A judge has recently granted an injunction against an enforcement of our rule. I’ve watched TV panel shows discuss this issue, seen columnists pontificating on our error, but no one seems to mention morality as playing a part in the subject of sex. [Applause]

Is all of Judeo-Christian tradition wrong? Are we to believe that something so sacred can be looked upon as a purely physical thing with no potential for emotional and psychological harm? And isn’t it the parents’ right to give counsel and advice to keep their children from making mistakes that may affect their entire lives? [Slight crescendo of voice and emphasis–Long Applause]

Many of us in government would like to know what parents think about this intrusion in their family by government. We’re going to fight in the courts. The right of parents and the rights of family take precedence over those of Washington-based bureaucrats and social engineers. [Applause]

But the fight against parental notification is really only one example of many attempts to water down traditional values and even abrogate the original terms of American democracy. Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged. [Applause] When our founding fathers passed the First Amendment, they sought to protect churches from government interference. They never intended to construct a wall of hostility between government and the concept of religious belief itself.

Yesterday afternoon, the current POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama, did not address the Supreme Court’s ruling. Instead, he gave a petulant speech blaming the Republicans in Congress  for failing to deal with the Mexican Munchkin Migration, a horrible, sovereignty-threatening situation on our Southern Border, which he himself encouraged. The Petulant President threatened to issue Executive Orders to “deal with the problem”, a solution which is actually outside the reach of his Presidential Powers.

Now, I’m not naive. As Rush alluded to, I fully expect Obama to administratively arrange for our tax dollars to pay for birth control pills and abortiafacients for employees of these companies who choose not to provide them, due to their religious principles.

Which brings me to the following observation:

The President of the United States of America in 1983 was against the United States Government promoting immorality.

The President of the United States of America in 2014 is promoting immoral behavior and individual irresponsibility…and is expecting taxpayers to pay for it.

The Obama Administration Vs. Hobby Lobby…Waiting on a Decision (UPDATE: The Constitution Wins!)

Today, the Supreme Court of the United States is scheduled to announce their ruling on the issue of whether Hobby Lobby, a Christian-owned Business, should be able to refuse to provide abortifacients to his employees, defying the Administration’s State-Run Healthcare System, Obamacare, because killing babies is against their faith.

Hobby Lobby already provides insurance coverage for 16 other forms of birth control, including pills that prevent ovulation. But they contend their religious freedom rights would be violated if they are required to cover four specific forms of birth control — implanted devices such as intrauterine devices (known as IUDs), a contraceptive rod implanted in a woman’s arm, and two forms of emergency contraception commonly called “morning after pills”, also known as “abortiafacients”.

Yes, I said killing babies earlier…because life begins at the moment of conception, and an abortion stops a beating heart.

There is no way around that.

However, I realize that referring to the act of abortion as “killing a baby” makes pro-abortion advocates lose their feeble minds.

Frankly, Scarlett…well. you know.

They have spent years and years trying to convince the gullible among us, that it is not really a human being growing inside the mothers womb. And, even if it is, it is a punishment or, at least, that’s what the President of the United States referred to an unwanted baby as.

So, it is not surprising that this case has gone all the way to the Supreme Court. President Obama and his Department of Justice are fighting for the right to allow women to kill their babies in the womb… it is as simple as that.

You see, boys and girls, there are options for unwed mothers. For instance, there’s this wonderful thing called adoption, through which a woman who does not want to be a single mother, can give her unwanted baby to a couple who will love and cherish that human life, and raise it in the way in which it should go.

Have you ever thought about why the Obama administration does not focus on that option, but instead advocates for the disposal of human life?

There is a simple and chilling explanation: Couples who want to adopt are responsible, loving people, who are less likely to run to Uncle Sugar for help in raising their child.

While women who seek abortions, tend to be of a lower economic strata, and a more government- dependent lifestyle.

Like the purpose for passing the  national nightmare known as Obamacare, it all boils down to State Control of the populace.

In a State-Controlled Nation, there will be, by necessity, no room for Religious Freedom. For in a state-controlled nation, the Central Government itself is god.

Read this excerpt from a paper by the Marxist Leader, Vladimir Lenin, titled “Socialism and Religion”…and shiver:

So far as the party of the socialist proletariat is concerned, religion is not a private affair. Our Party is an association of class-conscious, advanced fighters for the emancipation of the working class. By attempting to force Christian businesses, hospitals, and schools to observe the Contraception Mandate in Obamacare, the Obama Administration and Congress, by virtue of their passing the bill that fateful night on Capitol Hill, are in violation of the First Amendment.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. – Amendment I, The Constitution of the United States

Regarding a statement made by the Liberal Obama sycophants (but, I repeat myself) at the George Soros-funded website,  Think Progress,  back in December of 2012, that the owners of Hobby Lobby were trying to “force their religion” on their employees:

Seems to me, that it’s the Obama Administration attempting to force their secular socialist belief system on Hobby Lobby.

As an American Business Owner, they have the right to do business as they see fit, and , if they are in a “Right to Work” state, they can hire and fire whom they want to as well. It is way beyond the purpose and scope of government to tell Americans how they can practice their faith.

In the Message from John Adams to the Officers of the First Brigade of the Third Division of the Militia of Massachusetts, written on October 11, 1798, the Second President of these United States laid it out very plainly:

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Perhaps their own lack of these virtues is the reason that Obama and his minions do not seem to care that they are ignoring Our Constitution.

It is a bit of ironic hypocrisy that, the same people who claim to the “the smartest ones in the room”, and are now seeking to curtail OUR Constitutional Rights, “for our own good”, i.e., “the good of the collective”,  are those very same hippies, who, in the 60s and 70s, were whining and screaming to anyone who would listen, that their Constitutional Rights were being violated, when, like Obama himself, they were dragged, kicking and screaming, from their “sit-in” in the Dean’s Office.

Pelosi to Illegals: “We Are All Americans.” NO. “WE” AREN’T.

illegalsmarchA new poll, just published by the Pew Research Center, on American Patriotism, shows some interesting, if not expected results. Rick Moran of americanthinker.com reports that

 A new study by the Pew Research Center that breaks down liberals and conservatives into 7 different groups, finds that those who identify as “solid liberals” don’t think much of you, or America, or “honor and duty” as core values.

The finding is contained in Pew’s new “Political Typology” report, which breaks Americans down into seven different categories — rather than the usual three. Among the seven categories, “solid liberals” are the only group in which a majority say they aren’t regularly proud to be Americans.

By contrast, more than seven in 10 “steadfast conservatives” and eight in 10 “business conservatives” say they are generally proud to be Americans.

The poll also shows many liberals don’t liken themselves to your average American. Just 51 percent say they feel as though they are “typical Americans” — as compared to three-quarters of conservatives and at least two-thirds of all the other groups.

The results differ from other recent polling which has tested a similar question. Gallup found strong majorities of all political groups say they are generally proud to be Americans, and Fox News in 2011 actually found more Democrats than Republicans said they were proud.

Part of the difference in the new poll, undoubtedly, is that Pew drills down a little more to highlight differences between true liberals and other liberals who might not be as consistent. Pew’s definition of “solid liberals” comprises just 15 percent of the American population — a much smaller group than just “liberals” or Democrats.

So, to sum up: the Hard Left is bereft of honor and scoffs at duty as a core value; they are elitists who look down on everyone else as inferior; and they don’t like America very much.

Sounds like most Democrats in Congress to me.

A prime example of that is Former (Thank the Lord) Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who, during a photo op down at our Southern Border yesterday, came came up with this wheelbarrow of fertilizer:

Saturday at a press conference from the Rio Grande Valley, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) discussed her tour of a border holding facility and addressed the humanitarian crisis of thousands unaccompanied minors flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border, which she called a “humanitarian opportunity.”

Pelosi explained, “We are all Americans — north and south in this hemisphere,” and urged America to see this as not a crisis but an opportunity “to be helpful.” She also said she wished she could simply “take home” the thousands of children temporarily housed in the overburden facilities.

According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, in the past fiscal year more than 47,000 unaccompanied children have crossed the border into the United States through Mexico with the majority coming from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

In 1974, Ronald Wilson Reagan would give a speech which is now known as “The City Upon a Hill Speech”. Here is a excerpt:

You can call it mysticism if you want to, but I have always believed that there was some divine plan that placed this great continent between two oceans to be sought out by those who were possessed of an abiding love of freedom and a special kind of courage.

This was true of those who pioneered the great wilderness in the beginning of this country, as it is also true of those later immigrants who were willing to leave the land of their birth and come to a land where even the language was unknown to them. Call it chauvinistic, but our heritage does set us apart. Some years ago a writer, who happened to be an avid student of history, told me a story about that day in the little hall in Philadelphia where honorable men, hard-pressed by a King who was flouting the very law they were willing to obey, debated whether they should take the fateful step of declaring their independence from that king. I was told by this man that the story could be found in the writings of Jefferson. I confess, I never researched or made an effort to verify it. Perhaps it is only legend. But story, or legend, he described the atmosphere, the strain, the debate, and that as men for the first time faced the consequences of such an irretrievable act, the walls resounded with the dread word of treason and its price — the gallows and the headman’s axe. As the day wore on the issue hung in the balance, and then, according to the story, a man rose in the small gallery. He was not a young man and was obviously calling on all the energy he could muster. Citing the grievances that had brought them to this moment, he said, “Sign that parchment. They may turn every tree into a gallows, every home into a grave and yet the words of that parchment can never die. For the mechanic in his workshop, they will be words of hope, to the slave in the mines — freedom.” And he added, “If my hands were freezing in death, I would sign that parchment with my last ounce of strength. Sign, sign if the next moment the noose is around your neck, sign even if the hall is ringing with the sound of headman’s axe, for that parchment will be the textbook of freedom, the bible of the rights of man forever.” And then it is said he fell back exhausted. But 56 delegates, swept by his eloquence, signed the Declaration of Independence, a document destined to be as immortal as any work of man can be. And according to the story, when they turned to thank him for his timely oratory, he could not be found nor were there any who knew who he was or how he had come in or gone out through the locked and guarded doors.

Well, as I say, whether story or legend, the signing of the document that day in Independence Hall was miracle enough. Fifty-six men, a little band so unique — we have never seen their like since — pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. Sixteen gave their lives, most gave their fortunes and all of them preserved their sacred honor. What manner of men were they? Certainly they were not an unwashed, revolutionary rabble, nor were they adventurers in a heroic mood. Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists, 11 were merchants and tradesmen, nine were farmers. They were men who would achieve security but valued freedom more.

…Standing on the tiny deck of the Arabella in 1630 off the Massachusetts coast, John Winthrop said, “We will be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us, so that if we deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword throughout the world.”

Since the birth of our nation, immigrants from all over the world, have made long and treacherous journeys to this “Shining City Upon a Hill, where they came to become AMERICANS, swearing an Oath of Allegiance to OUR COUNTRY, an oath taken “without hesitation or purpose of evasion”.

They came here in compliance with our nation’s laws.

These Illegal Aliens, including this overwhelming influx of tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors, being dropped off at our border by the Drug Cartels, are not the same, no matter what Nancy Pelosi says.

By refusing to enter our country by the legal and proper way in which millions of legal immigrants did before them, they show a disdain and disregard of our nations laws, as do the preening politicians who are so eager to forgive them of their crime, in order to add potential voters to their political party.

NO, REPRESENTATIVE PELOSI. THESE LAWBREAKERS ARE NOT AMERICANS. …NOT UNTIL THEY ENTER OUR SOVEREIGN NATION IN THE RIGHT WAY, AND SWEAR THEIR ALLEGIANCE AND LOYALTY TO IT.

BEING AN AMERICAN IS NOT A RIGHT. IT IS A PRIVILEGE.

American Christianity and the Illegal Alien Invasion: What is My Christian Duty?

illegal immigration 3PROLOGUE: I got into a “discussion” on a Facebook Page with several Liberal “friends”, concerning the current invasion of illegal aliens happening at our Southern Border. They jumped on me, giving me instructions as to how I should think and act, due to my unashamed pronouncement of my Christian Faith. While answering them back as best as I could at the time, I felt that they deserved a more complete answer, so that I would not be misunderstood.

So, hold on to something. Here we go.

Romans 13:1-7 This Biblical passage leaves no doubt  that God expects us to obey the laws of the government. The only exception to this is when a law of the government is in opposition to one of God’s commands (Acts 5:29).

The current invasion of underage Latin American Minors, bein transported up to our southern Border by the Drug Cartels is an example of Roman 13: 1-7.

Illegal immigration is the breaking of a governmental law. There is no scripture in the Holy Bible that contradicts a nation having immigration laws. Therefore, it is a sin, rebellion against God, to illegally enter into another country.

Illegal immigration is definitely a controversial issue, not only in the United States, but in European countries, as well, as they are being invaded by Muslims who are setting up Sharia Law in countries such as the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Denmark.

The fact of the matter is, Romans 13:1-7 does not give any Christian permission to violate a law just because it is unjust. Again, the issue is not the fairness of a law.

Judge Roy Stewart Moore (born February 11, 1947) is an American judge and Republican politician and the former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. He is noted for his prior refusal, in 2003, as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, to remove a monument of the Ten Commandments from the Alabama Judicial Building despite orders to do so from a federal judge. On November 13, 2003, the Alabama Court of the Judiciary unanimously removed Moore from his post as Chief Justice.

On November 6, 2012, Moore won election back to the office of Alabama Chief Justice, defeating replacement Democratic candidate Bob Vance.

Immigration and Christian Duty 

Just last week a reporter covering the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention asked me about the debate in the Christian community over the treatment of illegal immigrants: should we demonstrate Christian love and concern for their salvation or should we oppose amnesty legislation and enforce the immigration laws? The answer is yes: we can and should do both. America is a nation of immigrants. From the beginning, people have come here for freedom and prosperity. As early as 1783, George Washington wisely explained the privileges and duties of those seeking to become citizens of our Country: The bosom of America is open to receive not only the Opulent and respectable Stranger, but the oppressed and persecuted of all Nations and Religions; whom we shall welcome to a participation of all our rights and privileges, if by decency and propriety of conduct they appear to merit the enjoyment.

…The Statue of Liberty still beckons from the New York Harbor, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” We should never turn our backs to those who show by their “decency and propriety of conduct” that they deserve to live here as an American citizen. But as Washington explained, citizenship entails not only the rights and privileges which flow from it, but also the duties and responsibilities which entitle an individual to its enjoyment.

Immigration is the legal means by which one becomes a citizen of the United States. It has historically required an application process for citizenship, including a test, an investigation, and an oath of allegiance to our Country and Constitution. To call those illegally residing here “immigrants” is an insult to those who have demonstrated the patience, responsibility, and fortitude to immigrate here legally.

When a person – from any country – enters our Country illegally, makes no application for citizenship, does not learn our language, does not care for our customs, and seeks only the benefits of living in America, they have not “immigrated” here at all. They are not “immigrants,” but rather, “illegal aliens.” Recent “May Day” demonstrations by illegal aliens that feature Mexican flags, anti-American slogans, and racist statements against “gringos” only confirm the intentions of many illegal aliens to not assimilate into our culture and way of life, but to displace it with their own. Their lack of “decency and propriety of conduct” show they neither desire nor deserve to be legal citizens.

…Unfortunately, too many Christians have been deceived to think that our duty to love and care for illegal aliens means that we should ignore immigration laws and disregard our borders. But as President Ronald Reagan once said, “A nation without borders is not a nation.” Our borders are compromised by illegal immigration, infiltration of terrorists, and by government policies of regional partnership that actually dilute the sovereignty of the United States. The choice is not between our Christian duty and our border laws,  it’s a matter of life or death for our nation. The same God who commands that we treat aliens and “strangers” with righteousness and justice also clearly defined the physical borders for the nation of Israel, in detailed geographical terms, in Numbers 34. Israel, then and today, would not exist without borders?and neither will America. We should love and care for “the stranger among us” and always be mindful of their need for salvation. But we also have a duty to apply all laws equally and fairly without regard to race, creed, color, or national origin. Our immigration laws must be strictly and justly enforced. It’s not only a matter of national survival. It’s our Christian duty. 

The vast majority of illegal immigrants in the United States have come for the purpose of having a better life, providing for their families, and escaping from poverty. These are good goals and motivations. However, it is not biblical to violate a law to achieve something “good.” Caring for the poor, orphans, and widows is something the Bible commands us to do (Galatians 2:10; James 1:27; 2:2-15). However, the biblical fact that we are to care for the misfortune does not mean we should violate the law in doing so. Supporting, enabling, and/or encouraging illegal immigration is, therefore, also a violation of God’s Word. Those seeking to immigrate to another country should always obey the immigration laws of that country. While this may cause delays and frustrations, these reasons do not give a person the right to violate a law.

So, what is the biblical solution to illegal immigration? Simple…don’t do it; obey the laws.

Liberals tend to attempt to set the boundaries and to change the teachings of Jesus Christ to fit with their “political collective” mindset. The turning of a political situation, such as “The Mexican Munchkin Migration”, into a “humanitarian catastrophe” is just the most recent example.

Their claim concerning salvation is framed in similar terms. Liberals, including President Barack Hussein Obama, put forth the opinion that Salvation is a group experience, , likening it to a political movement, which could not be further from the truth, couching their political ideology-driven benevolence behind the term “Social Justice”.

I do not believe that Jesus would be a part of the social justice movement. His was and is a soul-saving movement. One that still brings hundreds of thousand of people to salvation on this terrestrial ball every day. A movement that, in fact, was embraced by the Founders of this cherished land.

It is interesting to me, that the “most caring people in the room”, whom, under normal circumstances, want Conservative American Christians to sit down, shuddup, and limit their faith to Sunday mornings from 10 a.m. – Noon, now are lecturing us about how we should support their fallen messiah’s “Illegal Immigrant Initiative”.

I will wrap up this post by quoting  Dr. Albert Mohler, President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary:

Regrettably, there is no shortage of preachers who have traded the Gospel for a platform of political and economic change, most often packaged as a call for social justice…

The church is not to adopt a social reform platform as its message, but the faithful church, wherever it is found, is itself a social reform movement precisely because it is populated by redeemed sinners who are called to faithfulness in following Christ. The Gospel is not a message of social (collective) salvation, but it does have social implications.

Obama’s Illegal Immigration Initiative: Possible Amnesty EO in the Works. Witch Pelosi to Welcome Mexican Munchkin Migration

obamaillegalimmigrationThe last bipartisan U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform wrangled with this hot topic for six years. President Clinton appointed former congresswoman and Democratic icon Barbara Jordan as its chair. Jordan came from humble beginnings to become a lawyer and the first Southern black woman elected to the House of Representatives. A DEMOCRAT, she was a leader in the civil rights movement, a professor of ethics, a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a world-class orator (two of her speeches are considered among the greatest of the 20th century). Her appointment gave the commission instant credibility. According to Jordan, she believed her responsibility as the head of the commission was to restore credibility to the U.S. immigration system. On the issue of illegal immigration, Jordan was very clear and succinct:

Unlawful immigration is unacceptable. Those who should not be here will be required to leave.

I wonder what Rep. Jordan would think of her beloved Democratic Party, now that they have embraced and are welcoming the same illegality, which she was so clear about ?

President Obama, tired of waiting for Congress to act on immigration reform, is currently exploring ways to address issues with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.

During an interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that the Obama administration was getting impatient with Congress.

“[W]e’re not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress,” he explained. “We’ve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.”

Earnest added that, although Obama was exploring executive action, it was “not a substitute for robust Congressional action” on immigration reform.

“That’s why we’re trying to focus on getting that done,” he concluded.

Obama has been heavily criticized after his 2012 executive decision to defer the deportations of some young illegal immigrants, which critics argue was a key incentive for more children to cross the border illegally.

And, where the fallen messiah goes, his acolytes must follow (especially if there will be cameras involved).

According to politico.com,

pelosiwitchHouse Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will travel to the southern border of the U.S. on Saturday to be briefed by Customs and Border Protection on the flood of unaccompanied minors entering the country.

The California Democrat will also meet with a group of children held at the South Texas Detention Facility.

“The humanitarian crisis unfolding across our nation’s southern border demands Congress come together and find thoughtful, compassionate and bipartisan solutions,” Pelosi said. “We must ensure our laws are fully enforced, so that due process is provided to unaccompanied children and the safety and well-being of unaccompanied children is protected. We must also work to address the root causes of the problem.

More than 50,000 unaccompanied children from central America have crossed the border into the United States since last October, but federal law says the U.S. cannot immediately turn the minors away if they are from non-contiguous countries such as Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

The rush of children has turned into a crisis for Customs and Border Protection, which does not have the capacity to house the children for the 72 hours before they are transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services to await an immigration hearing.

Pelosi will be joined by Democratic Reps. Filemon Vela of Texas, Rubén E. Hinojosa of Texas and Steven Horsford of Nevada. Hinojosa is the chairman of the Chairman, Congressional Hispanic Caucus and Vela sits on the House Homeland Security Committee.

The sight of San Fran Nan, greeting them at the Border, may make all the illegals turn tail and run back home.

When she was young, they fed her with a slingshot.

But, I digress…

What makes the current influx of illegal immigrants exempt from the rules and regulations that every other generation of immigrants to this country had to abide by in order to become legal citizens of the greatest nation in the world? By being here illegally, they are not entitled to the same rights as natural-born or naturalized American citizens.

And, yet, even as I write this, they are in our hospitals, taking advantage of our charity and the finest health care system in the world, and driving our streets, with either forged drivers licenses or those obtained from states who have acquiesced and given them to these “undocumented workers”.

This is in no way a human rights issue. Freedom is God-given, and with freedom comes responsibility. With citizenship comes responsibility, like paying taxes and making your own way.

My concerns about this whole “Path to Citizenship” business, can be divided into three bullet points. (Hey, I’m a VP of Marketing. What do you expect?)

1. Patriotism – Will these new “citizens” be willing to fly our flag above theirs? Will they be willing, if called upon, to serve in our Armed Forces, at home or abroad? Will they love this country, more than the one they left?

2. Loyalty – When these “new Americans” achieve the right to vote, are they all going to vote Democrat, so that they can receive more FREE STUFF? Is the Republican Party shooting themselves in both feet by pushing an outcome which will simply add new Democratic Voters? As I asked in the first point, will they honestly embrace our sovereign nation as their new home? Or, will they remain loyal to Mexico?

3. Immigration – Are we rewarding illegal behavior, while at the same time, insulting all of the brave souls who have come here legally, seeking a better life for themselves and their families?

I understand that people want a better life for themselves and their children. We are all immigrants in this land, except for American Indians, and they got here by crossing the Bering Straight. But there is a huge difference between immigrating here legally and sneaking in illegally, between assimilating into an existing culture, and insisting on replacing a country’s existing culture with that of the country you left.

I’m all for assisting anyone in becoming a legal citizen of the United States, if that is their wish. But, it must be done the right way, and they must accept responsibility for their illegal entry, show a willingness to learn our language, and embrace our American way of life, including respecting the American Flag.

So, let’s take this one step at a time. Secure our borders. Enforce the anti-illegal immigration laws. And if the Federal Government won’t, the states, like Arizona, will have to pass their own laws. America became a great nation because it is a melting pot of American-born and legally immigrated citizens with a shared allegiance, not a multi-cultural United Nations with everyone loyal to their home country.

A wide-open Southern Border is as big a threat to the sovereignty of the United States as anything that our enemies can throw at us right now. All of OUR SERVANTS, up on Capitol HIll, need to quit playing political games. The safety of America is at stake . SECURE THE BORDER NOW.

Oh, and if John Boehner and the Vichy Republicans think that being pro-Amnesty will win the presidency for them, I have two words for them:

UNEMPLOYED AMERICANS.

Cochran’s Pyrrhic Victory: Bribery, Racism, and Fear…Oh, My!

The fallout continues, as more and more information pours in, as to how incumbent Mississippi Republican Senator Thad Cochran achieved his victory in Monday night’s Primary Election against TEA Party Candidate Chris McDaniel.

The truth ain’t pretty.

The New York Times reported that

With an unusual assist from African-American voters and other Democrats who feared his opponent, Senator Thad Cochran on Tuesday beat back a spirited challenge from State Senator Chris McDaniel, triumphing in a Republican runoff and defeating the Tea Party in the state where the movement’s hopes were bright.

“We all have a right to be proud of our state tonight,” Mr. Cochran said at his victory party in Jackson, Miss. “This is your victory.”

Mr. McDaniel, speaking in Hattiesburg, was angry, and he did not hesitate to say so. “There is something a bit strange, there is something a bit unusual about a Republican primary that’s decided by liberal Democrats,” he said.

He accused Mr. Cochran of abandoning the conservative movement. “So much for principles,” he said.

Mr. McDaniel, an uncompromising conservative, relied on the muscle of outside groups and the enthusiasm of conservative voters who are weary of Mr. Cochran’s old-school Washington ways.

The 76-year-old senator ran a largely sleepy campaign until the primary on June 3, when he was edged out by Mr. McDaniel but won enough votes to keep his opponent from outright victory. Mr. Cochran, who is seeking his seventh term, used the past three weeks to turn out Democratic voters — especially African-Americans — to make up that deficit.

Which begs the question: Why would a bunch of Black Democrats down here in Mississippi, vote for a 76-year-old “cracka”, who bills himself as a “Conservative Republican”?

Back on June 17th, Breitbart News reported the following:

Rickey Cole, the chairman of the Mississippi Democratic Party, says Cochran’s allies are paying Democratic operatives to help get out the vote with a questionable tactic.

“Pete Perry” – the chairman of the Hinds County Republican Party – “is paying James ‘Scooby Doo’ Warren thousands of dollars to funnel to black preachers and others to get-out-the-vote for Cochran,” Cole wrote in a Facebook message sent to a top aide of state Sen. Chris McDaniel’s campaign, Ric McCluskey, just after midnight Tuesday.

“Large sums of cash are being passed around. These guys are old school ‘walking around money’ vote buyers,” Cole wrote in the message, obtained by Breitbart News, adding, “Need some out of state media to put some heavy scrutiny on Pete asap.”

In a phone interview, Cole confirmed he made the allegations and that he thinks there should be an investigation. “I can’t prove any of it yet,” Cole said. “This is just what I had heard. It think it warrants investigating, because I don’t know all of the details on it I just got word that James [‘Scooby Doo’ Warren] was bragging that he got money.”

“The reason I sent that text is because I wanted the McDaniel people to know that there was an effort out here ongoing to mobilize Democratic voters to vote for Cochran,” Cole added. “That’s simply because I don’t like the idea of Democrats voting in the Republican primary or Republicans voting in the Democratic primary. I believe members of each party should vote in their own primaries.”

Warren confirmed to the Clarion-Ledger that he is working for Cochran, and got approval from Washington, D.C., Democrats to do so. “I called D.C. and told them what was going on with the tea party,” Warren said. “But I can’t do anything after the 24th because I’m a Democrat … Whoever wins will have to deal with me in November.”

In the story, Warren is not quoted addressing allegations of impropriety from Cole.

In an interview Monday, Perry said he hopes that money routed through him won’t end up used to pay for votes.

When asked if he thinks there’s payments for votes happening in this election, Perry said that “I certainly hope not” adding that while he’s “been against that all my life since the 60s” he has “seen it done and I’m totally against it.”

And, if paying them off did not motivate Black Democrats to vote for an old White Republican, the Cochran Campaign used another time-proven tactic.

The undisputed Godfather of Conservative Radio Talk Show Hosts, Rush Limbaugh, said the following about this disgusting flyer on his program , yesterday:

Now, it would be one thing if the Democrats did that. They do it every election cycle anyway. But for them to be joined, even if from a distance, by the Republican establishment here, simply confirms what we have long said on this program about establishment Washington. It is ruling class vs. country class. It’s elites vs. the plebes. You and me are the plebes, and they are the elites, and they are aligning together.

My friend Mark Levin, F. Lee Levin, makes the point that Washington is not going to be fixed from Washington. This proves it, if there was any proof needed. Washington is not going to be fixed in Washington. The establishment is going to align itself every which way it can against any outside challenger, like this Tea Party candidate. But it does look like African-Americans.

Democrat African-Americans really did secure the victory for Thad Cochran in a Republican primary. So here we have a result that is not representative of the Republican Party thinking in Mississippi. The technique that was used and the manner in which this was achieved is reprehensible.

With Friends Like These, Who Needs Liberals?

As we pointed out last week (see: http://t.co/y8T64iZQyR), there were several potentially illegal political games afoot in Mississippi to motivate Democrat voters to “switch” over to the GOP for a day to help save a 42 year Republican member of Congress. On top of that, millions of dollars from out of state liberal billionaires like Mike Bloomberg poured in at the last minute on that same incumbent’s behalf. You have to ask yourself why? When a primary election is lost fairly, I am all for unifying behind the victor and joining forces to fight in November. When an election is questionable, with potential legal violations, politics MUST be put aside and the irregularities MUST be fully investigated. Regardless of party, we owe it to voters and to democracy within our Republic. The integrity of the vote speaks directly to the integrity of those who serve and the trust we ask the American public to put in our institutions. I told Chris McDaniel last night that I stand with his effort to get to the bottom of this – he needs to know average, but tremendously concerned, citizens want to make sure the integrity of last night’s results in Mississippi are verified. Voting shenanigans never cease to amaze, but they had better cease altogether for the sake of ethical elections. And any GOP “architect” behind these abhorrent voting shenanigans should be ashamed of this Pyrrhic victory for the establishment. If we find out it’s true that some of the characters alleged to have masterminded this Mississippi hijacking are the same ones who’ve tried to destroy other Republicans’ careers, they need to be taken to task and only be hired by unethical campaigns. Fool us once, shame on you; fool us twice, shame on us. And if any news organization ignores a free and fair elections issue like this, than whether left-leaning or center right, their silence will speak volumes.

As a Mississippian, I have lost all faith in my state’s Republican Party. As regular readers know, I have gone after the out-of-touch National GOP Establishment incessantly, bestowing upon them the title of “Vichy Republicans”. However, in my naiveté, it never occurred to me that a politician from the Magnolia State, where we pride ourselves on our gentlemanly manners and Christian upbringing, could be just a big a cold-hearted snake as the spineless Speaker of the House and that product of Chicago Backroom Politics, the fallen messiah in the White House.

Brother,was I wrong.

So, don’t come begging to me and my fellow Conservative Mississippi Republicans for “unity” this November, Senator Cochran. After last night, it will probably fall on deaf ears.

Vichy Republican Thad Cochran Wins Mississippi Primary Run-off With Black Democratic Votes

conservative1The term “carpetbaggers” was used in the South after the Civil War to describe Northerners who came to the South during Reconstruction to make money off of the defeated and disadvantaged populace.

Southerners regarded them as interlopers who were just passing through because of the carpetbags in which they carried their possessions (hence the name carpetbaggers).

The majority of the carpetbaggers planned on settling down in the South and taking advantage of the war-ravaged South and the commercial opportunities that Reconstruction offered.

History has made the term carpetbagger synonymous with corruption in political affairs.

Unfortunately, America now has a new group of carpetbaggers profiting from our national misery.

WashingtonPost.com reports that

Cochran outperformed his vote totals from the primary election three weeks ago in many parts of Mississippi and he held a lead throughout the night. With 99 percent of precincts reporting, Cochran beat McDaniel 50.9 percent to 49.1 percent. They were separated by about 6,600 votes out of more than 372,000 cast.

Cochran relied heavily on boosting voter turnout in the runoff among not only mainstream Republicans but also black Democrats, whom his campaign and its allies aggressively courted in the final days of the campaign.

The contest between the entrenched Cochran and the more combative and youthful McDaniel divided the Republican Party here in one of the nation’s most conservative states and delivered a stinging blow to the tea party movement.

In a bitter and angry speech to supporters in Hattiesburg late Tuesday, McDaniel refused to concede and said, “we are not prone to surrender.” He cited “voting irregularities” and thundered that the “Republican primary [was] decided by liberal Democrats.”

“We’re not done fighting,” McDaniel vowed.

In nearly every Mississippi county, voter turnout was up over the inconclusive June 3 primary. But precinct totals show it was substantially higher in heavily African American areas. In the 24 counties with a majority black population, turnout increased by 39.4 percent, giving Cochran a big edge.

For example, in densely populated Hinds County, which includes the capital of Jackson, turnout was up nearly 50 percent over the June 3 primary and Cochran beat McDaniel by nearly 11,000 votes.

McDaniel, who had been backed by the money and manpower of the tea party movement, was hoping to channel the anti-establishment fervor of Mississippi Republican activists. He had the momentum heading into the runoff, but Cochran, a 36-year member of the Senate, gambled that stressing his seniority in Washington and his long history of procuring largess for this poor state.

So says the Liberal Yankee Newspaper.

As the halcyon days of the Reagan Administration passed by, and time moved on, the Republican Party slowly, but surely, began to distance themselves from us rubes living out here in America’s Heartland, otherwise known as “Flyover Country”.

And, as they became more isolated from the people they were supposed to be serving, they started losing elections. Sure, Dubya was elected for two terms (Thank God.), but, can you imagine either Al Gore or John Kerry as President? Without throwing up, that is?

With the election of Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), and with the Democrats controlling both the House and Senate,this nation was taken on a madcap plunge toward socialism faster than Elvis going down the last hill on the Zippin Pippin at the old Mid-South Fairgrounds.

And then, Americans stood up on their hind legs and started the TEA Party Movement.

Obama and the Democrats, and the Status Quo-loving Establishment Republicans, could not believe their eyes. “What was this mess? How dare these sheep break away from the flock!”

While Obama and the Democrats attacked us every which-way they could think us, accusing us of RAAACIIISM, carrying guns to rallies, etc., the “Moderate” Republicans, played it very cagey. They used the TEA Party during the months leading up to the 2010 Mid-terms, to get themselves elected, and win back the House of Representatives, on the promise that they would govern “Conservatively”.

Allow me to pause for a moment and say this: I am not speaking about actual Reagan Conservatives and TEA Party Members like Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and sometimes, Rand Paul. I am speaking of those Vichy Republicans, like John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, and Marco Rubio, who should just switch parties, and get it over with.

In the two years since the TEA Party propelled them to victory in the Mid-terms, the Establishment Republicans, who rode our coat tails back to the Halls of Power, have increasingly treated us badly, at first, shunning Conservatives like we were red-headed step-children, and now, insulting and degrading us like we are lepers…or their enemy.

And now, with Obama failing miserably, tanking in every single Popularity Poll, making about as much sense as a punch-drunk boxer, the Republicans appear ready to commit mass seppuku (hari kari), as I wrote yesterday, “snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory” by pushing for Amnesty for illegal aliens, in order to supply their Big Money Donors, in the US Chamber of Commerce, with cheap labor.

As our forefathers experienced, we are presently under the thumb of a government, which is traveling in an opposite course from the overwhelming majority of its citizens. What makes our present situation intolerable, is the fact that , those who believe that they are “over us”, were actually chosen by us, to be our public servants.

These “Public Servants”, through the corruption of power and avarice, have become a New Aristocracy, answerable, or so they believe, only to themselves.

Which is what just happened in Mississippi. With help from fellow Vichy Republican John McCain, Professional Politician Thad Cochran accomplished a Pyrrhic victory in the Mississippi Republican Run-off.

Now, the Vichy Republicans will cry out for unity, expecting Mississippi Conservatives to vote for Cochran in November, running back to them, like an abused wife runs back to her brutish lout of a husband.

Self-serving arrogance and corruption is the same, no matter what side of the political aisle it is practiced on.

We have an opportunity in front of us, Americans…and choices to make. We can either throw off this Marxist-inspired, tyranny and corruption, which we find ourselves under, relying only on our own limited devices, or we can return to the Faith of our Fathers, the Divine Providence which secured our AMERICAN FREEDOM for us in the first place. History has shown us what happens when men endeavor to strike out on our own: We usually wind up back under the tyranny of men, instead of the Sovereignty of God.

God has given us a remarkable system of government. We have the opportunity in 2014, to “muck out the stalls” in Washington, DC. Our “hoses,shovels, and brooms” will consist of the tools given to us by our Creator, enumerated in our Founding Documents: Freedom of Speech, Freedom to Assemble, and the Right to Vote.

Americans, through a groundswell movement, which became known as the Tea Party, named so in honor of the American Revolution, changed the make-up of Congress.

What we did not count on, was the fact that

Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.

Hence, it is time to begin a New Tea Party Movement, not just relying on our own limited devices, but, as our Founding Fathers before us,

with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

It’s TEA Time in Mississippi!

Cochran McDanielsWhen our Founding Fathers were deciding what sort of government that they would put in place in this brave new world, they came up with the idea of a Constitutional Republic.

Quite different from a democracy, this new government would rely on representatives of the people, who would be chosen by popular vote to come to the capital of the nation and represent their community.

Our Founders decided to base the government on a political structure, which they were familiar with. They decided to have three branches to this government:  the Judicial, the Legislative, and the Executive.

The Legislative Branch was based on Parliament with the Senate being the Upper House or House of Lords and the House of Representatives being the Lower House or House of Commons. The Founding Fathers envisioned this to be a citizen-led government. A government populated by citizen farmers, who came to the nation’s capital, served their term,and then went home to their communities, giving another servant a chance to serve their nation. As time went on, these servants would be elected to more than one term, and became enticed by Lobbyists and Special Interest Groups  during their time in Washington to the point that they decided that they liked the power and prestige of being in the nation’s capital,  better than they did coming home to be with their communities. And, thus, the professional politician was born.

Today, in my home state of Mississippi, we have a chance to end the four-decade term of a professional politician: A Republican, who has crossed the political aisle time and again, to vote alongside his fellow professional politicians on the Democrat side of the before-mentioned aisle.

Thad Cochran has been in the United States Senate for 40 years. He is being challenged by TEA party Conservative Republican, Chris McDaniels, whose impressive performance during the Republican Primary Campaign, forced Cochran into today’s Run-off Election.

Living here in the Northwest Corner of the Magnolia State has provided me a bird’s-eye view of the political fight between Cochran, a member of the “Moderate” GOP Establishment, and the newcomer, McDaniels, who has run the same sort of Grassroots Campaign which won the House of Representatives for the Republicans in 2010.

Of course, Cochran had a seemingly unlimited Campaign Budget, being funded by the GOP Establishment, and the Political Action Committees which support them. The majority of the political ads from Cochran’s Campaign curiously spent more time tearing down McDaniels’ qualifications for the Senate Seat, than they did listing Cochran’s accomplishments.

McDaniels’ modest ads simply put forth the notion that Cochran has been in the Senate way too long, and new, fresh, Conservative ideas are needed.

To say that this was a knockdown drag-out, mud-slinging campaign, would be an understatement.

It started out with a supposed McDaniels supporter sneaking into the Nursing Home where Cochran’s wife lives, in order to take pictures of her. McDaniels’ Campaign stated after it happened that they don’t know the idiot.

Now, up here in my town, one of the official members of Cochran’s Campaign Staff, just got the boot for being caught pulling up and defacing McDaniels Campaign Signs.

Three years after the now-legendary Grassroots Movement known as “The Tea Party”, the Republican Party is in a state of disarray and discontent, to put it mildly. The Republican Establishment, or Vichy Republicans, as I have dubbed them, are desperately clinging to the Washingtonian Status Quo: reaching across the aisle, and going along to get along, known non-politically as “caving in”, while pushing potential Presidential Candidates for 2016 whose platforms are so similar to those of their potential Democrat Opponents as to be virtually indistinguishable.

Oblivious of their past failures (i.e., Dole, McCain, and Romney), while pursuing their milksop Political Philosophy, the Vichy Republicans, or GOPe, as an internet friend has named them, cling to their mission to hold onto their cushy Seats of Power, by playing an old, tired political game.

Make no mistake, they will defend the Washingtonian Status Quo to their last breath, and savage anyone who threatens it, with the help of their allies from “across the aisle”, the Democrats and their minions in the Main Stream media. Look at how they have attacked Former Alaskan Governor and Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate, Sarah Palin, in the past, and now the TEA Party Conservatives in the House and Senate.

They have called their fellow Republicans everything but Children of God.

The greatest U.S. President of our Generation, Ronald Wilson Reagan, once said,

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.

Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and other “New Conservatives” seem to be willing to do just that.

If the old guard Vichy Republicans, like Senator Thad Cochran, care more about their Capitol Hill way of life than their country and their constituents, then it is time for them to get out of the way, and allow Sen. Cruz and these new TEA Party Conservatives, like Chris McDaniels, to lead the battle against this corrupt anti-American Administration.

Because, as the old saying goes,

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
