Biden Accepts Democrat Presidential Nomination, Promises to Fix Things He Didn’t Fix in 47 Years in DC

Former Vice President Joe Biden said he’d lead the country out of what he called a “season of darkness” and vowed to “draw on the best” of what America has to offer as he accepted the Democratic presidential nomination on Thursday night, setting up a general election battle with President Trump in November.

In his speech, Biden sought to cast himself as a leader who would unite the country.

“The current president has cloaked American anger for far too long. Too much anger, too much division. Here and now I give you my word — if you entrust me with the presidency, I’ll draw on the best of us, not the worst,” Biden said. “I’ll draw on the light, not the darkness. It’s time for us, for we the people to come together, and make no mistake, we can and will overcome this season of darkness in America. We’ll choose hope over fear, facts over fiction, fairness over privilege.”

Because of the coronavirus, Biden spoke from the mostly empty Chase Center in front of about two dozen reporters. He stood at a lectern emblazoned with “D20” in front of 16 American flags.

“I’m a proud Democrat, and I’ll be proud to carry our banner into the general election,” he said. “So it’s with great humility and a proud honor that I accept this nomination for president of the United States of America.”

For Biden, becoming the Democratic nominee is the culmination of a decades-long political career that has taken him from the Senate to the White House, as vice president under former President Obama.

Biden’s path to the Democratic nomination was also defined by personal tragedy, including the loss of his first wife and young daughter to a car crash in the early 1970s and the death of his son Beau Biden, who passed away from brain cancer in 2015.

Biden prepared for his address Thursday with family, longtime advisers including chief strategist Mike Donilon, speechwriters Vinay Reddy and Carlyn Reichel, and even presidential historian Jon Meacham, who recently penned the book “The Soul of America” and also had a speaking role at the convention. 

Biden was introduced by his children Ashley and Hunter Biden, and a video of his late son Beau Biden introducing his father at the 2012 Democratic convention.

The campaign also played a new video touting Biden’s past efforts to reach across the aisle and work with Republicans. The video told the story about how as vice president Biden worked with Republican lawmakers on an economic rescue package following the 2008 financial crisis.

Y’know, it was fitting that Hunter Biden and his Sister, Ashley introduced their father last night.

Hunter Biden was the point of the spear in a Foreign Policy scandal which is just a small part of what will go down as the most corrupt Presidential Administration in history, making the Warren G. Harding Teapot Dome Scandal pale in comparison.

All of this boggles the mind. Think about it:

This whole continuous attack on President Trump…the Special Counsel’s “Russian Collusion” investigation and the hurried Democratic Sham Impeachment are all part of a strategy to cover up the out-of-control corruption, both foreign and domestic, which took place during the Obama Administration with the knowledge and consent of President Barack Hussein Obama, himself.

That would certainly explain the Democrats’ over-the-top reaction to losing the 2016 Presidential Election and their vicious rhetoric and unconstitutional political actions and schemes since.

When Obama and Biden left office, Joe gave an “exit interview” to the Los Angeles Times.

He said his party failed to connect with working-class, largely white voters, and warned that “a bit of elitism” has “crept in” to party thinking.

He recalled watching a Trump rally in Pennsylvania near where he grew up.  “They’re all the people I grew up with,” he said. “They’re their kids. And they’re not racist. They’re not sexist. But we didn’t talk to them.”

The Democrats still are not talking to us.

They continue to talk at us.

They do not cherish or respect average Americans.

Remember how refreshing Donald J. Trump’s speech was when he accepted the nomination as the Presidential Candidate of the Republican Party?

What a contrast to what we had heard for 7 and one-half long years from the former occupier of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

No racially-divisive rhetoric, no allusions to the Marxism Axioms revolving around Class Warfare, no self-deification, such as

This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.

By the way, how did that “Hope and Change” work out for ya?

But, I digress…

Instead, we heard from a man who genuinely LOVED America and her people, instead of viewing us all as racist, misogynist, xenophobes.

And, therein lies the secret of Donald J. Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton on November 8th, 2016.

It was a direct “repudiation” of Obama and his Presidency.

What Trump did, with his refusal earlier in the campaign to “act more presidential”, was to implement a strategy.

Trump has always been a “people person”.

That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox News, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.

As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.

“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.

He knew that the only was to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Trump continues to strike a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the Modern Democratic Party refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

The Democrats, including Presidential Candidate Joe Biden, did not say a thing about the special interest groups whom they support, like BLM and Antifa during their Bore-a-thon this week.

The violent anti-Americanism being displayed by the riots happening in our major cities is not only condoned by he Far Left Democratic Party…it is encouraged.

Joe Biden, in his diminished state, will not do a darn thing about it.

His handlers will not let him.

We MUST reelect President Donald J. Trump.

Obama Accuses Trump of Tearing Down “Our Democracy”…Once Again, Irony is Embarrassed

Former President Barack Obama on Wednesday warned Americans that democracy is at stake in November’s election, admonishing President Trump as categorically unfit for the job and pleading with voters to back his one-time vice president. 

“I am also asking you to believe in your own ability – to embrace your own responsibility as citizens – to make sure that the basic tenets of our democracy endure,” Obama said from the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, where he was flanked by the text of the U.S. Constitution. “Because that’s what’s at stake right now. Our democracy.” 

Obama used Wednesday’s speech and its symbolic backdrop to frame the upcoming election in stark terms. He warned against complacency, arguing that cynicism and apathy in the face of Trump’s attacks on democratic norms would cause the entire system to wither away “until there’s no democracy at all.”

“This administration has shown it will tear our democracy down if that’s what it takes to win,” Obama said. “So we have to get busy building it up – by pouring all our effort into these 76 days, and by voting like never before – for Joe and Kamala, and candidates up and down the ticket, so that we leave no doubt about what this country we love stands for – today and for all our days to come.”

Obama’s stinging remarks mark his most direct attacks against Trump to date, and a remarkable rebuke by a former president of his successor. He has periodically swiped at Trump, but otherwise remained out of the public eye save for a role in the 2018 midterms.

He hammered Trump on Wednesday over his character, his treatment of protesters, his attacks on the free press and his lack of commitment to the job.

“I did hope, for the sake of our country, that Donald Trump might show some interest in taking the job seriously; that he might come to feel the weight of the office and discover some reverence for the democracy that had been placed in his care,” Obama said, echoing a theme that has also been brought up by other speakers at the convention.

“But he never did,” he continued. “For close to four years now, he’s shown no interest in putting in the work; no interest in finding common ground; no interest in using the awesome power of his office to help anyone but himself and his friends; no interest in treating the presidency as anything but one more reality show that he can use to get the attention he craves.”

The former president went on to lament the consequences of Trump not growing into the job as presidency, citing the coronavirus death toll and the economic fallout from the pandemic. 

That whirring sound you heard lat night was our Founding fathers spinning like pinwheels in their graves over the Far Left Democratic Party having the audacity to present Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) standing by the United States Constitution, a document which he wanted to revise to suit the wants of the Far Left.

For the statement that Trump is a threat to Democracy to come out of the mouth of a Far Left Ideologue, whose political career was launched in the home of a member of the notorious Radical Cop Killers known as “The Weather Underground” not only strains credulity, it stretches it until it snaps.

And, Former President Obama, we are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a “Democracy”…and that really sticks in your craw, doesn’t it?

You want to claim that Donald J. Trump is “tearing our Democracy down”?

Let’s take a little trip down memory lane, shall we?

Before you left office (by the Grace of God) I wrote the following homage to the late Paul Harvey, titled

If I were a Socialist United States President…

I would begin to plant seeds during my Inaugural Address, concerning the disparity between the Haves and the Have-nots. In other words, I would intentionally begin to divide the nation through the use of Racial Animus and Class Warfare.

Also, during that address I would push for a National Healthcare System, regardless of the fact that such a monstrous entity has never worked, anywhere it has been tried.

I would preach about hope and change, but like all Marxists, I would be hoping to bring subjugation and looking to “radically change” a nation, all in the name of “Fairness and Equality”.

The first thing I would do, when I took office, would be to send money around the world, to finance abortions. In this way, I would show the world that there is a new boss in the United States, who wants to radically change the Shining City on a Hill into just another country.

Next, I would push for the passage of an outrageous spending bill that would actually be a cover for paying back political favors.

I would invite the already-sycophantic Main Stream Media to come to the White House for closed-door meetings, where I would tell them to “get with the program”, if they wanted to receive any news stories from this White House at all.

I would make speeches about how marvelous a Government-run National Healthcare System would be, making hollow promises like,

If you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance. if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.

…all the while knowing that I was lying my hindquarters off.

Once I got my slaves in the Congress to pass this nation-changing National Healthcare Law, I would put the pedal to the metal and continuously push for other outrageous and expensive programs designed to grow the central government.

I would convince Americans that growing the central government is the only solution to a rapidly failing economy and that being unemployed and unable to provide for your family is actually a “fun-cation”.

And, while Americans were suffering through this Economic Depression, I would rant and rave about “Income Inequality”, while my family and I would take frequent vacations, costing the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars, and throw lavish private parties at the White House, in a manner reminiscent of the old Soviet Union’s Politburo.

Realizing that the Heartland of America was still Conservative in nature, I would reach out to those Americans who believe themselves to be a mistreated minority. I would reach out to those on the fringes of society. Those Americans, who because of poor upbringing, poor education, or simply making bad decisions concerning their lives, now consider themselves deprived of the American Dream.

These people would compose about 47 percent of the population. They would be my core supporters, much like Nikolai Lenin and the Bolsheviks.

Having done a miserable job in my First Term as President, I would promise these Bolsheviks that if reelected, I would be their Santa Claus.

And, I would continue to blame my predecessor for the wretched state of the economy, even though, by now, it would be my responsibility.

Once I was reelected, there would be no stopping me. It would not matter to me what the popularity polls said, I would continue to claim that those who provide Americans with jobs were “the evil 1%” and identify their success in creating the Greatest Economic System in the World, as the “real reason” for the Economic Depression that America was in.

I would change the Moderate political stances which I “supposedly” held during the campaign for my first election as President, and show my true colors, following a political path pursuant to my true Far Left Radical Political Ideology.

Reverting back to the one job in my life that I was good at, that of being a “Community Organizer”, I would encourage an “Us Vs. Them” Racial Division in America, supporting out-of-control rioters over those who protect the Citizens of the United States, the Thin Blue Line, America’s Police Departments, because then, I could use the situation to create my own National Police Force.

I would alienate Conservative Christians living in America’s Heartland by vilifying them as “Bitter Clingers”, marginalizing them throughout my presidency, even to the point of lecturing them in my Easter Address, telling them to get off their “high horse”, basically saying that the followers of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, are no better than the murderous followers of Mohammed, whose Ideological Brethren continue to murder Christians in the Middle East.

I would push for “gay marriage”, demonizing Bible-believing Christians, who might oppose it as “bigots” and “haters” and I would voice my support for the legalization of marijuana.

Through redefining the definition of the family unit, and eliminating Christianity from everyday American Life, I will eliminate the “backbone” of the nation…the two main barriers that will keep me from radically changing America into a socialist nation.

Through pushing for the legalization of marijuana, I would succeed in dumbing down the population and eliminating their desire to succeed as individuals, making them even more subservient and reliant on the Almighty State for their very existence, thus creating a new “Proletariat”.

Regarding Foreign Policy, I would bow in deference to other world leaders, demonstrating to them and the rest of the world, that I do not believe that the United States of America, whom I am supposed to be the Biggest Advocate for, is exceptional in any way.

I would not negotiate with America’s Enemies from a position of strength. Instead, I would blindly trust those who have sworn to kill us, even if they are on the threshold of building a nuclear bomb, simply because I identify with their Political Ideology, which masquerades as a religion.

I would pull out of still turbulent areas in the Middle East, encouraging the Barbaric Forces of Radical Islam to move in and conquer the very cities where our Brightest and Best sacrificed their lives in service to America.

On the 70th Anniversary of D-Day, I would sit at a solemn International Memorial Service, smacking my gum like a cow chews his cud, as if I was behind the bench at a Chicago Bulls Basketball Game, dishonoring our fallen and enraging our allies.

In other words, I would embrace America’s Enemies, and alienate America’s Friends.

I would use the finest military in the world as a subject for Social Engineering Experiments, ending “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and moving women into combat positions, even though their lack of physical strength would endanger the American Soldiers they are fighting beside.

Following this, I would eventually allowing the “Transgendered” to serve in our Armed Forces.

I would remove God from the Armed Forces and forbid soldiers from speaking about Christ to others. I would also begin Military Training which would identify Evangelicals as “Terrorists”.

While I am at it, I would push for my wife to be able to place the military on a diet plan that is similar to the one which would already be failing in America’s Public Schools.

I would trade 5 Murderous Muslim Terrorist Generals, for one useless, traitorous, American Army Deserter, who was discharged in 2006 from the Coast Guard for Psychological Issues, who later converted to the Religious/Political Ideology of his Captors, and whose Father’s Youtube Account praised the same Radical Muslims and their Political Ideology which poses as a religion, just because I wish to make a Political Point about closing the prison in which the enemies of our country were being held.

I would use the Judicial System, The Department of Justice, the NSA, and Internal Revenue Service as my Palace Guard, using Activist judges to overturn the will of the people and harassing political opposition through uncalled-for Tax Audits.

I would use unmanned drones and blimps for unwarranted surveillance on American Citizens.

I would push for Gun Confiscation, calling it “Gun Control”, in the “name of the children”, all the while supporting the murder of the unborn in their mothers’ wombs, because having a baby is “a punishment”.

Because, after all, as Vladimir Lenin said,

One man with a gun can control 100 without one.

I would imperiously announce that if Congress did not pass the laws that I wanted them to pass, I would go around them and rule by Executive Order.

I would open our Southern Borders, bypassing our immigration laws, encouraging millions of illegal aliens to enter our nation, including unaccompanied minors, spurred on by propaganda intentionally leaked to their Latin American Home Nations in support of this Mexican Munchkin Migration.

All the while, pushing Congress for “Immigration Reform”, i.e., “Amnesty”, in order to assure that my Political Party would hold onto their Political Power, in order to finish the intentional “Radical Change” of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

And, if Congress refused to follow my wishes, I would attempt to grant Amnesty through “Executive Order”, bypassing the System of Checks and Balances that America’s Founding Fathers put into place, so long ago, in order to avoid a monarchy, such as they rebelled against.

I would blame others for my incompetency. I would portray myself as a victim of a Capitalist System and a Racist Ideology that was still prevalent in a nation that was too narrow-minded to allow me to lead them to a Socialist Paradise, even though my wife and I were worth millions or dollars, I was the President of the United States of America, and we took numerous vacations and went on “fact-finding missions” at the expense of the American Taxpayers.

Finally, if I were a Socialist U.S. President, I would desperately try to deflect any blame away from my political party and My Former Secretary of State, a lousy candidate, for losing the Presidency to a “rank outsider, an American Businessman and Entrepreneur, a “Citizen Statesman”, if you will.

I would have my intelligence agencies publicize a story that Vladimir Putin, a man who believes me to be nothing but a wuss and to be a poor excuse for a leader of a country, to have used cyber-technology to somehow influence the election. Later, as more information would be revealed, I would be forced to admit that “Russian Interference” actually did not have any influence over the election. Then, I would park American Tanks on the Russian Border, simply to prove what a “tough guy” I was.

…In summation, America suffered for 8 years under a Former Community Organizer who suffers from a massive ego fueled by a condition which I have dubbed “Educated Beyond His Intelligence Syndrome.” Obama firmly believes that he is the most intelligent person in any room which he enters.

The reality, however, is that Obama was a miserable failure as President.

Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden’s description years ago of Obama as being “clean and articulate” proved to be a poor substitution for having a spine and being a capable leader.

All his reappearance is doing is encouraging Americans to go to the polls and reelect President Donald J. Trump.

When that happens, then his Comeback Appearance on behalf of  his ol’ buddy, Joe Biden, WILL be a success…for President Donald J. Trump…the Republican Party…and all of us “Deplorables”.

Democrats Nominate Biden After a Boring 2 Nights of a “Virtual Convention”…McGovern Deja Vu?

Two of the most boring nights of television in the history of American Politics is finally over.

With the nomination of dementia-addled Joe Biden as their Presidential Candidate and the extremely unpopular Kamala Harris as his Vice-Presidential running mate, Democrats have proven that they have learned nothing at all from their time out of power.

The absurdity and downright anti-Americanism of their “Tenets of Faith” have been anathema to Americans living in America’s Heartland, the ones responsible for an American Businessman and Entrepreneur being elected our 45th President.

For the Democratic Party to begin winning elections again, they are going to have to abandon the Far Left Political Ideology, inspired by Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky, which they have bitterly clung to as their “religion” for the past several decades.

Those who sit in judgment of us average Americans like the Pharisees in the ancient Holy Land are going to have to climb down from their bar stools at the Washington Capitol Hill Country Club, and come home to visit us “common” people, attend ballgames, picnics, charitable public events, and even…GASP!…attend church with us, if they wish to represent average Americans in our Sovereign Nation’s Halls of Power again.

However, realistically, and as proven during the last two nights of a boring non-stop infomercial attacking America, I do not see any of my suggestions coming to pass.

Democrats are too ensconced is their own belief system which states that…

  1. Americans are “jingoistic”.
  2. America is responsible for all of the world’s ills.
  3. The evils of American Capitalism are responsible for the world’s climate, not the God of Abraham.
  4. Perversion is perfectly normal.
  5. They ARE “The Smartest People in the Room”.

There are many more “Tenets of Faith” that the Democrats believe. However, for the sake of brevity, I will move on.

Years ago, the Democratic Party and reality took divergent paths.

In fact, the seeds for today’s “New Bolsheviks” were probably planted with the nomination of George McGovern as the Democratic Party Presidential Candidate in 1972.

And speaking of the late Senator, I fully expect a repeat of of his failure to win the Presidency.

While Gropin’ Joe Biden is a career politician, he has accomplished absolutely nothing in his decades in Washington.

And now, as his illness consumes him before a worldwide audience, there is a serious doubt among Americans as to whether, if elected, he could finish his first year in office, much less a full term.

Unless they can find their way back to reality, their political party is destined to go the way of the Whigs.

Considering their fondness for relative morality, situational ethics, and purposeful obtuseness, perhaps they should keep traveling the path that they are presently on…attempting to find something…ANYTHING to impeach President Trump on, like their stupid accusations concerning the United States Post Office.

Last night, they placed a death sentence on their chances to win in November by nominating Joe Biden

Their party’s slow, painful demise as they continue to move farther and farther left on the Political Spectrum twill be great for the Popcorn Industry….

and America.

The Pelosi-led House of Representatives has already shown their bubble-living super-sized egos do not care about average Americans.

And, it is this very attitude which has begun the Dems’ downward descent into oblivion.

Get your popcorn ready for the night of November 3, 2020 and pass the salt and butter, please.

In Recorded Speech at Virtual DNC, Michelle Obama Accuses the President of “Division”…Why Irony is Embarrassed

Former first lady Michelle Obama, in a measured but searing address to close out Democrats’ opening convention night, accused President Trump’s White House of operating in “chaos” and without “empathy” as she urged voters to cast their ballots for Joe Biden like their lives depend on it.

In prerecorded remarks, Obama stressed the “awesome power of the presidency,” while saying the job “requires clear-headed judgment, a masterly of complex and competing issues, a moral compass and an ability to listen.”

She added: “Whenever we look to this White House for some leadership or consultation or any semblance of steadiness, what we get instead is chaos, division and a total and utter lack of empathy.”

The address was widely praised by Democrats as a powerful indictment of the administration. But it also came at the close of a first-night program that was awfully bleak at times, especially with Sen. Bernie Sanders repeatedly saying the country is facing the threat of “authoritarianism.”

Trump campaign adviser Steve Cortes told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham that they presented a “dystopian” picture of the country. And the unusual format, at the first-ever virtual political convention, also raised eyebrows as videos of musical performances and news-style segments hosted by Eva Longoria were interspersed with remarks from lawmakers.

But Michelle Obama, in an impassioned address, sought to tie the strings together, concluding Trump is “the wrong president for our country.”

“He has had more than enough time…He is clearly in over his head,” she said. “He cannot meet this moment. He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us.”

She added: “It is what it is.” (This may have been a swipe at Trump’s infamous comment on coronavirus deaths.)

Obama went on to warn: “If you think things cannot possibly get worse, trust me, they can, and they will if we don’t make a change in this election.”

“If we have any hope of ending this chaos, we have got to vote for Joe Biden like our lives depend on it,” she said. “I know Joe. He is a profoundly decent man guided by faith.”

Obama did not mention Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., who is the first woman of color to be named as a vice presidential nominee for a major party. It’s possible the video was recorded before she was named.

Obama also slammed “the America that is on display for the next generation.”

“A nation that’s underperforming, not simply on matters of policy, but on matters of character, and that’s not just disappointing, it’s downright infuriating,” she said, noting she knows “the goodness and grace” across the country.

Obama said “empathy” was something she has “been thinking a lot about lately.”

“The ability to walk in someone else’s shoes. The recognition that someone else’s experience has values too,” she said. “Most of us practice this without a second thought.”

She went on to say that children in the U.S. “are seeing what happens when we stop requiring empathy of one another.”

“They’re looking around wondering if we’ve been lying to them this whole time,” she said. “They see people shouting in grocery stores unwilling to wear a mask to keep us all safe; they see people calling the police on folks minding their own business just because of the color of their skin…They see our leaders labeling fellow citizens enemy of the state, while emboldening torch-baring white supremacists.”

Meanwhile, Obama referenced her “they go low, we go high” catchphrase, explaining that “going high is the only thing that works” but doesn’t always mean being nice.

“When we go low, degrading and dehumanizing others, we just become part of the other noise that’s drowning out everything else,” she said. “Let’s be clear: going high does not mean putting on a smile and saying nice things when confronted by viciousness and cruelty.”

She added: “Going high means going the higher path—scraping and clawing to that mountain top.”

Let’s review Michelle Obama taking that “higher path” that she referred to last night…

On January 23rd, 2008, during a speech given in Columbia, South Carolina, Michelle Obama said:

We don’t like being pushed outside of our comfort zones. You know it right here on this campus. You know people sitting at different tables, y’all living in different dorms. I was there. Y’all not talking to each another, taking advantage of the fact that you’re in this diverse community because sometimes it’s easier to hold onto your own stereotypes and misconceptions, it makes you feel justified in your ignorance. That’s America. So the challenge for us is, are we ready for change?

Then, in February of 2008, while campaigning for her husband in Wisconsin, Mrs. Obama said:

Let me tell you something. For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.

And let me tell you something. I need to believe that we live in that kind of nation, where hope and possibility and unity is still what drives us.

She made the “proud” comment twice in 2 different speeches. David Axlerod, Obama’s Chief Strategist, tried to explain it away at the time, saying:

She gives this talk all the time, and I don’t think she formulates the words quite that way generally. But if you look at the whole quote and read beyond it, she was plainly talking about this burst of participation, this sense of hope, the sense of possibility and so on. And she was talking about the politics of our country.

In an article titled “The Other Obama”, published on March 10, 2008, in The New Yorker Magazine, writer Lauren Collins gave us the following insights into the Future First Lady’s true feelings about America:

The four times I heard her give the speech—in a ballroom at the University of South Carolina, from the pulpit of Pee Dee Union, at an art gallery in Charleston, and in the auditorium of St. Norbert College, in De Pere, Wisconsin—its content was admirably consistent, with few of the politician’s customary tweaks and nods to the demographic predilections, or prejudices, of a particular audience.

Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents. “We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day,” she said, as heads bobbed in the pews. “Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four!”

From these bleak generalities, Obama moves into specific complaints. Used to be, she will say, that you could count on a decent education in the neighborhood. But now there are all these charter schools and magnet schools that you have to “finagle” to get into. (Obama herself attended a magnet school, but never mind.) Health care is out of reach (“Let me tell you, don’t get sick in America”), pensions are disappearing, college is too expensive, and even if you can figure out a way to go to college you won’t be able to recoup the cost of the degree in many of the professions for which you needed it in the first place. “You’re looking at a young couple that’s just a few years out of debt,” Obama said. “See, because, we went to those good schools, and we didn’t have trust funds. I’m still waiting for Barack’s trust fund. Especially after I heard that Dick Cheney was s’posed to be a relative or something. Give us something here!”

Her expensive tastes, during her time as “First Lady”, which included Wagyu Beef and Lobster, her penchant for taking the most expensive vacations ever imagined by man (with larger entourages than an NBA Player), along with her attempts at telling Americans what we HAVE to feed our children and grandchildren, and how we should be raising them, did not exactly endear herself to the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Especially when she started telling us how to feed our children and grandchildren…

Past First Ladies always took a cause to tackle during their husbands’ terms.

Usually, it was a non-intrusive cause such as literacy or combating hunger in America.

Not, in the case of our globe-trotting (on our dime) Former First Lady, “Moochelle” Obama. Under the guise of battling Childhood Obesity, she decided to sic the food police on America’s school menus, turning our children into the Liberal Administrations’ own personal lab rats and overruling the parental authority of the average American Family.

Mrs. Obama eventually had to adjust her diet plan, because children were not receiving enough nourishment from her Diet Plan and literally falling out by the middle of the afternoon.

In response to this danger to the health of their students, several school systems across the nation told the First Lady what she could do with her non-nutritious Diet Plan, including the Liberal Bastion of New York State!

Most of the other First Ladies in my 61 years, such as our current one, Melania Trump, have brought a certain degree of class and decorum to their unelected position as “FLOTUS”.

Hillary Clinton being a notable exception.

Where that woman spits, grass never grows again.

But, I digress…

First Lady Melania Trump speaks six different languages fluently and came here on a special Visa which they call the “Einstein” Visa. Plus, she always presents herself as an asset to our nation in public.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama thinks decorum is something you do to a room.

And now, this “mooch” has the nerve to call President Trump “divisive” while calling for average Americans to elect  a man clearly in the throes of dementia as President of the greatest country on the face of God’s green Earth?

America has not forgotten the damage that her, her husband, and Sleepy Joe did in the long, nightmarish 8 years that they were in the White House.

Pelosi Wants House to Return Late This Week to Address USPS “Issues”…Instead of Coronavirus Stimulus

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested members could be brought back from August recess to address issues regarding the U.S. Postal Service, while urging Democrats to appear at their local post offices amid the battle to protect mail-in ballots for the 2020 presidential election.

Pelosi, D-Calif., on Sunday said the post office has become “Election Central” thanks to the coronavirus pandemic even as President Trump and Republicans have warned for months that universal mail-in ballots would cause widespread voter fraud in the election.

“Alarmingly, across the nation, we see the devastating effects of the President’s campaign to sabotage the election by manipulating the Postal Service to disenfranchise voters,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi went on to slam Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, calling him a “top Trump mega-donor” who has “proven a complicit crony as he continues to push forward sweeping new operational changes that degrade postal service, delay the mail, and – according to the Postal Service itself – threaten to deny the ability of eligible Americans to cast their votes through the mail in the upcoming elections in a timely fashion.”

“These delays also threaten the health and economic security of the American people by delaying delivery of life-saving medicines and payments,” Pelosi said. “Lives, livelihoods and the life of our American Democracy are under threat from the President.”

She added: “That is why I am calling upon the House to return to session later this week to vote on Oversight and Reform Committee Chairwoman Maloney’s ‘Delivering for America Act,’ which prohibits the Postal Service from implementing any changes to operations or level of service it had in place on January 1, 2020.”

Pelosi also said in an effort “to save the Postal Service,” that members should “participate in a Day of Action on Tuesday by appearing at a Post Office in their districts for a press event.”

“In a time of a pandemic, the Postal Service is Election Central,” Pelosi said. “Americans should not have to choose between their health and their vote.”

A senior Democratic aide told Fox News that Pelosi could have members return to Capitol Hill from August recess on Friday, and to be ready for deliberations on legislation for the USPS on Saturday—the weekend in between the Democratic National Convention and the Republican National Convention.

Pelosi’s comments come after she, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., House Oversight Committee Chair Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., and the top Democrat on the Senate Homeland Security Committee Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., demanded the postmaster general and chairman of the U.S. Postal Service testify before Congress on Aug. 24. The Democrats said the testimony would be about the recent “sweeping and dangerous operational changes” at the agency that they claimed are “slowing” the mail and “jeopardizing the integrity” of the 2020 election.

Trump and the Republican Party have been warning for months about possible fraud connected to mail-in voting. The RNC and the Trump campaign have filed lawsuits to hit back against efforts by Democrats to overhaul voting laws in response to the pandemic; this, while Democrats say that cases of actual voter fraud are limited and claim that Republicans are trying to suppress voter turnout to improve their chances of winning elections.

Earlier this week, the USPS warned 46 states and the District of Columbia that it cannot guarantee all ballots cast by mail will arrive in time to be counted in the November election.

Democrats have asked for $25 billion, including $3.5 billion in election resources, to fortify the Postal Service in time for the election to be included in the fourth coronavirus stimulus package. Trump has said the Postal Service money won’t be coming through unless Democrats come to the negotiating table on coronavirus relief and give concessions to Republicans.

“Sure, if they give us what we want,” the president said of the post office money during a press conference Friday. “And it’s not what I want, it’s what the American people want.”

Consider the following, boys and girls…

The Democrats have not said a mumbling word about the rioting by the Marxist Anarchists of Antifa and BLM going on in our major cities.

However, they are afraid of Americans exercising their First Amendment Right to vote at their local polling place because of “fear of contagion”?

Trump Derangement syndrome has warped whatever sense they had left.

Does Pelosi and her gang of thieves actually believe that Average Americans are going to go along with them coming back to Washington to vote on giving money to the already bloated coffers of the USPS without signing off on another Coronavirus Stimulus Package to help Americans, like President Trump has already tried to do?

Average Americans, who were looking forward to another $1,200 Stimulus Check, are already mad at the Democrats in Congress for leaving town without taking care of business.

Their Propaganda campaign to confuse the meanings of voting by absentee ballot and mail-in voting has not worked.

So now, in a purely self-serving move, which is as unfounded and unnecessary as the Russian Collusion Probe, Queen Nancy wants to summon her serfs back to the castle because their plan to win the 2020 Presidential Election by means of Mail Fraud is being threatened.

The problem that Speaker Pelosi is not mentioning is the fact that, unless her and her co-conspirators sit down and actually negotiate an appropriate Stimulus Relief Package with President Trump and the Republicans, the Senate will not pass a Post Office Bill. And, even if they do, the President will veto it.

Something as blatantly arrogant and out-of-touch as what Pelosi is proposing would be a fitting finale for the circus clown act that the Democratic National Convention will be earlier this week.

Please, everybody, do not tell Pelosi and Company how arrogantly ignorant that they’re being.

At the rate they are going, President Trump is going to win all “57 states”.

Dems Upset That NYPD Union Endorses Trump…Actions Have Consequences

De Blasio, AOC, and their fellow Democrats are so corrupt and power-hungry, that they are sacrificing the safety of New Yorkers in order to cause chaos and unrest by defunding and demeaning the NYPD and other police departments across the country, moves which they hope will provide them leverage in order to win the Presidency and to usher in Democratic Socialism.

Guess what? The police are fighting back.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) union faced blowback from local Democrats after it endorsed President Trump’s reelection amid budget cuts and tensions between police and city lawmakers.

On Friday night, Trump spoke to members of the New York City Police Benevolent Association (PBA), an organization that represents 24,000 officers, at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J. Trump was formally endorsed by the group.

PBA President Pat Lynch said it was the first time he could recall the group ever endorsing a president.

“I have 36 years on this job, 21 as the president of this fine organization. I cannot remember when we’ve ever endorsed for Office of the President of the United States, until now. That’s how important this is,” Lynch said.

“Many times people say that a union like ours, law enforcement groups, give endorsements. Not in the New York City PBA, sir,” Lynch continued. “In the New York City PBA, Mr. President, you earn the endorsement and you’ve earned this endorsement. I’m proud to give it.”

“I’ve admired you my whole life, watched you do a job like nobody else, nobody else done it. Best of the best and I’m grateful happy you’re here,” the president said to the group of officers in attendance.

He mentioned his brother, Robert, who he visited in a New York City hospital Friday. “He’s having a hard time, but he respected you like I respect you.”

He again repeated his law-and-order message, telling the crowd “No one will be safe in Biden’s America.”

“This guy has been taking your dignity away and your respect,” Trump said of former Vice President Joe Biden. “And I’m telling you on Nov. 3 you’re going to be getting it back.”

New York Democrats said the police union’s endorsement of such a highly unpopular politician within the city was exacerbating tensions between them and the community.

“NYPD union endorsed Trump. I’m sure this is part of their neighborhood outreach plan,” tweeted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose district spans the Bronx and Queens.

“Also, does anyone else see a potential problem with police unions – enforcement arms of the state with lethal weapons – promoting “preferred” candidates for office or is that just me?” she added.

“I’m speechless. NYC is a beautifully diverse, working class, democratic city. The NYPD is clearly showing they are not interested in working with the people of our city,” tweeted Jamaal Bowman, a progressive newcomer who overthrew longtime Rep. Elliot Engel in a June primary.

“This explains their continued aggression against innocent people. It’s time for dramatic change,” he said.

New York City cops have faced a campaign against them in the wake of police brutality protests following the death of George Floyd.

As New York politicians cut $1 billion from the police budget among other police reforms, crime has spiked throughout the city. In July 2020, there were 244 shootings in New York, a 177 percent increase from the 88 which occurred last July.

Crimes such as murder, burglary and grand larceny auto also rose, but crimes such as rape, robbery and assault fell.

Meanwhile, Mayor Bill de Blasio and the city council recently barred officers from using chokeholds and other forms of restraint to detain suspects.

At the same time, state lawmakers passed a law to publicly disclose the disciplinary records of police officers accused of misconduct.

On July 31, Lynch met with the president at the White House to discuss the crime problem.

“In our city, we’re going through a difficult time. We have a progressive mayor that’s anti-police; the city council that’s anti-police; and the statehouse is anti-police. So they’re changing the law where it’s becoming impossible to do our job,” Lynch told the president, as reported by the New York Post.

“And remember what our job is: to keep folks safe. You do that by helping the good people, going after the bad people. They’re stopping us from doing that.”

Now, let me get this straight.

The local Democrat politicians, including Commie Mayor Bill de Blasio treat the NYPD like THEY are the thugs, defunding and treating them like garbage, and then the Dems have the nerve to act surprised when they endorse President Trump?

Their arrogance knows no bounds.

the Far Left Democratsz, his handlers have made a huge mistake by not “Backing the Blue”.

The overwhelming majority of American citizens support the police and sheriff’s departments within their municipalities and counties.

These same Americans, living between the coasts, are the ones Hillary Clinton referred to as “Deplorables”.

And, these are the Americans who elected Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America.

Average Americans are very aware as to what the Democrats are doing by championing the “Defund the Police” movement….they are pandering to special interest groups while clearing another obstacle in their path to radically changing America into a Marxist nation.

There is nothing at all altruistic in the Democrats attempting to defund the police.

If you will notice, Democrat politicians, both local and national, either live in a gated community or hire private security for themselves.

They are not shy about protecting themselves.

They don’t care about average Americans, though.

Back in July, the National Association of Police Organizations endorsed President Trump for reelection

Their bowing down to the Radical Left has now cost Joe Biden and the Democrat Party the support of those who keep us safe.

The Great American Broadcaster, the late Paul Harvey, was the son of a policeman who died in the line of duty. He wrote the following tribute for one of his daily updates…

Former FBI Attorney Clinesmith Pleads Guilty to Making a False Statement Over Altered E-mail…Trump: “This is Just the Beginning”

President Trump said Friday the news that former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith will plead guilty to making a false statement is “just the beginning” of the fallout from U.S. Attorney John Durham’s review of the Russia investigation.

“That’s just the beginning, I would imagine. This… what happened should never happen again,” Trump said at a White House briefing Friday afternoon. “You’ll be hearing more.”

He also called Clinesmith a “corrupt FBI attorney,” part of former FBI Director James Comey’s “very corrupt FBI.”

Clinesmith was referred for potential prosecution by the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office over an altered email about former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page claiming he was “not a source” for another government agency. Page has said he was a source for the CIA.

The DOJ relied on that assertion as it submitted a third and final renewal application in 2017 to eavesdrop on Page under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Two sources close to the investigation told Fox News on Friday that Clinesmith will plead guilty.

“Kevin deeply regrets having altered the email. It was never his intent to mislead the court or his colleagues as he believed the information he relayed was accurate,” Shur said in a statement.  “But Kevin understands what he did was wrong and accepts responsibility.”

The Department of Justice charging document states the Clinesmith “did willfully and knowingly make and use a false writing and document, knowing the same to contain a materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statement and entry in a matter before the jurisdiction of the executive branch and judicial branch of the Government of the United States.”

The charges say that Clinesmith altered another officials email to say that Page, was not a CIA “source,” which had not be specified in the original email. Page was in fact a CIA informant, which was committed in the 2017 FISA warrant.

Durham was appointed by Attorney General Bill Barr in 2019 to investigate the FBI’s origins of the Russia Probe.

“I said the American people need to know what actually happened, we need to get the story of what happened in 2016 and ’17 out. That will be done,” Barr said in an interview with Fox News’ “Hannity.”

Adding that “if people crossed the line, if people involved in that activity violated criminal law, they will be charged.”

Trump has voiced his vested interest in the case saying that he hopes Durham will not be “politically correct” and added that Barr could go down in history as “the greatest attorney general” or just “an average guy,” depending on the outcome of the investigation.

Democrats have voiced their concerns that Barr will use his position as AG to go after Trumps “enemies.”

In a recent podcast, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif, said Barr “may be using the power of the Justice Department through Durham or others to go after the president’s enemies.”

Schiff’s statement just reeks of irony and a lack of self-awareness, doesn’t it, boys and girls?

Haven’t the Democrats spent President Trump’s entire first term attempting to remove him from office via means of the Legislature, one of our three branches of government?

When everything is said and done, Americans will discover that this whole Democrat-supported “Lawfare” against Trump resembles a spider’s web in its malevolent intricacy with its “alarm thread” leading directly back to the Obama and Hillary.

The incestuous nature of “Spygate” resembles something out of a Tom Clancy Novel, only twice as large a conspiracy and three times as unbelievably dangerous.

This was a well-planned “silent coup” designed to keep the Democratic Party in control of the Presidency and to further their goal of turning the United States of America into a Democratic Socialist Country, where the Politboro (Central Government) would prosper and us average Americans would spend our lives working for the glory of the State.

The election of a “Citizen Statesman” in the form of Donald J. Trump to the office of the Presidency ruined their plans.

That is why they are feverishly attempting to prevent him from being reelected to a second term.

That being said, the intentional interference in the passage of Presidential Authority from one political party to another as the result of a fairly held election as prescribed by our Constitution can not be considered to be anything less. According to Federal Law, the punishment for Seditious Conspiracy is detailed as follows..

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

The Trump Administration and its specified duties regarding the operation of the Government of the United States of America and the oversight of the safety and welfare of its citizens have been under attack by both members of a Former Presidential Administration and by past members of our own Department of Justice.

I believe that it is time that the laws against interference with our fairly elected government be enforced against those who would sabotage their own country for the sake of their own egos, to assuage their hurt and anger from a lost Presidential Election, and to preserve a legacy of failure which average Americans did not wish to continue.

I also believe that the long-awaited results of the Durham Investigation must result in no less than indictments against all of those former and present “public servants” who have engaged in the Seditious Conspiracy to subjugate the will of the American people and to overthrow our nation’s government from within.

Our Sovereign Nation must remain a Constitutional Republic in order to preserve our liberty.

Biden Calls for a 3 Month National Mask Mandate…Trump: “All Americans Must Have Their Freedoms”

President Trump accused presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden of attempting “to politicize a pandemic” following his call Thursday for a nationwide mask mandate to slow the spread of coronavirus.

During an evening press briefing, Trump told Biden to “stop playing politics with the virus.”

Trump argued that Biden’s approach was “regressive, unscientific and bad for our country.” He accused the former vice president of opposing Trump administration policies that proved effective, such as travel bans, even as he pushes for a mask mandate that fails to take into account how the pandemic was impacting specific communities.

“At every turn, Biden has been wrong about the virus, ignoring the scientific evidence and putting left-wing politics before facts,” Trump said at the briefing. “Sleepy Joe opposed both the China and Europe travel bans. He opposed the China travel ban that I instituted very early and the Europe ban I instituted quite early.”

Trump’s remarks came hours after Biden appeared alongside Democratic presidential running mate Kamala Harris ahead of a virtual fundraiser in Wilmington, Del. At the event, Biden called for a nationwide mask mandate, pushing governors to require masks in all states for at least the next three months.

Biden cited estimates saying a mask mandate would save at least 40,000 lives over the three-month period. Biden and Harris did not take questions at the event.

”Wearing the mask is less about you contracting the virus,” Biden said. “It’s about preventing other people from getting sick.”

Trump accused Biden of pushing for a federal mask mandate that would overstep the bounds of the office and infringe on the rights of Americans.

“All Americans must have their freedoms. I trust the American people and their governors very much,” Trump said. “Joe doesn’t know too much.”

Sleepy Joe has it backwards. (I know that you’re shocked.)

Americans have been told that the purpose of wearing a mask in public it to prevent others from spreading the disease to you.

The President is right.

Joe’s demand for a nationwide mask mandate is not medicinal.

It is political.

It is about controlling something, alright…but it is not the Chinese Coronavirus which Joe and the rest of the Democrat Elite want to control.

It is the lives of average Americans.

If Americans were forced to wear masks from coast to coast, every day, in every situation, individual isolation and non-communication would be even more prevalent than it is now.

There are grandparents who have not seen their “children” or their grandchildren since the entire nation was placed in a lockdown.

Some businesses have still not reopened.

And, instead of helping them to reopen and helping average Americans, Congress has run away from Washington D.C., leaving as fast as a bunch of barflies trying to avoid paying their tab at closing time.

But, I digress…

So, why do “Groping” Joe and “Heels Up” Harris want every single American to wear a mask for a duration of three months? What is so special about that duration of time?

Let’s think about that for a moment, boys and girls.

What happens in 3 months from now?

You guessed it, the 2020 Presidential Election.

Just as they have been doing, the Democrats are attempting to sway the election by making Americans afraid to leave the safety of their homes to go vote on November 3, 2020.

Their hope is that average Americans, “Deplorables”, if you will, will stay at home and vote by mail.

Why?

Because it is far easier for the Democrats to commit voter Fraud that way.

It’s hard to “lose ballets” in car trucks.

It’s easy to lose them in the mail.

Voting in person is our Constitutional Right.

If the Democrats believe that Americans will so easily surrender their freedom by going along with a nationwide mask mandate, they have greatly underestimated the will of average Americans living between the coasts.

They have learned noting from the night of November 8, 2016.

It is time for average Americans to teach them another lesson.

Are Americans about to witness history repeat itself?

Seth Masket is a political scientist at the University of Denver, specializing in political parties, state legislatures, campaigns and elections, and social networks. In an article posted on psmag.com on August 21, 2018, he attempted to analyze Reagan’s 1984 landslide victory over Mondale.

In his article, he quotes from a post-election analysis by political scientist Marjorie Hershey…

In a study released in 1992, Hershey looked at newspaper coverage in the immediate aftermath of the 1984 election. She recorded over 80 explanations for the election’s outcome across various news articles in the immediate post-election weeks; just two months later, she could count only around 10 such explanations.

These interpretations focused on the candidates’ personalities and different campaign promises, particularly Mondale’s pledge to raise taxes. Mondale and the Democrats also were blamed for prioritizing “special interests” (mainly racial minorities) over working-class white voters. (It’s a narrative that continues to plague Democrats.) In her study, Hershey cites a leading Democratic consultant at the time who said shortly after the election:

We have to realize that we’re getting out of touch with normal, regular people. We’re forgetting that the white middle-class is rejecting us. We’re being wagged by the tail of Jesse Jackson, of feminists or gay activists. The average voter is saying, “What about me?”

That election postmortem was echoed by political scientist Phil Klinkner in his 1994 book on election losses. Quoting a handful of different Democrats heavyweights, Klinkner finds the inability to court working-class white voters to be a constant source of intraparty frustration.

No, this is not 1984.

Things have changed.

The Middle Class is not just “white” anymore.

A significant percentage of black Americans are now comfortably in the economic middle class and…thanks to political activists like Candace Owen and the Trump Economy booming before the Chinese Coronavirus sidetracked it for a while, they are prepared to join other middle class Americans in voting for President Trump on November 3rd.

For those who believe that black Americans will change their minds and vote for Biden since he chose Kamala Harris as his running mate…you are forgetting your history.

Leading up to the 1984 Presidential Election, all of the pundits were predicting that American women would vote for Mondale because he chose Geraldine Ferraro as his running mate.

They were wrong.

However, one thing has remained the same concerning the focus of the Democratic Party:

They long ago abandoned average Americans in the Middle Class for special interest groups.

And, even more egregious is the fact that the special interest groups whom they are presently aligning themselves with are anti-American Marxist Anarchist groups like Antifa and BLM, who oppose Traditional American Values like respecting and supporting the man and women of Law Enforcement.

Today’s Democratic Party is even more isolated and short-sighted than they were in 1984 if they believe that Americans are going to vote for an 78 year-old man suffering from dementia and a woman who slept her way to political prominence.

Or perhaps, they are using Biden and Harris as sacrificial lambs because they are attempting to further tear apart this country when Trump is reelected, finishing what they have started these last four years.

Either way, the Democratic Party has greatly underestimated average Americans…

…again.

Some Progressive Political Activists Are Not Happy That Biden Picked Harris

Some progressives expressed their frustration and condemnation of Joe Biden’s selection of Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., as his running mate.

Ever since Biden became the presumptive Democratic nominee, there has been an ongoing debate on the left as to who he could pick as his vice president that can motivate enough of the base, including supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., to support the ticket in November.

On Tuesday, Biden announced that Harris would be his vice president.

Sanders himself extended his support for his Senate colleague and former 2020 rival.

“Congratulations to @KamalaHarris, who will make history as our next Vice President. She understands what it takes to stand up for working people, fight for health care for all, and take down the most corrupt administration in history. Let’s get to work and win,” the Vermont senator tweeted.

However, several Bernie supporters and other progressive journalists slammed the Biden-Harris ticket.

Briahna Joy Gray, who previously served as Sanders’ national press secretary and has been an outspoken critic of Biden since her former boss withdrew from the race, invoked Harris’ tenure as the California attorney general.

“We are in the midst of the largest protest movement in American history, the subject of which is excessive policing, and the Democratic Party chose a “top cop” and the author of the Joe Biden crime bill to save us from Trump. The contempt for the base is, wow,” Gray reacted.

Left-leaning journalist Michael Tracey called Biden’s selection a “nightmarishly bad pick in every way.”

“Kamala’s presidential campaign was a total humiliating disaster. One of the worst of all time, considering the amount of unearned hype she received. Did everybody miss that, or what?” Tracey asked.

“Well, there you have it. @JoeBiden gives the middle finger to progressives, #BlackLivesMatter protesters, and black voters under the age of 50,” Status Coup co-founder Jordan Chariton tweeted.

“Crime bill author Joe Biden selects ‘top cop’ Kamala Harris for VP as racial justice and police abolition protests continue across the country,” progressive journalist Walker Bragman wrote.

“Apparently the answer to a movement for black lives is someone who helped perpetuate a lock em up regime while letting the powerful in Silicon Valley and Wall Streeters like Steve Mnuchin loot with impunity. Happy 2020,” The Hill’s Krystal Ball wrote.

“Biden going with the strategically brilliant move of picking somebody for VP who is despised by both the right and the left,” progressive commentator Kyle Kulinski quipped.

“This is when everyone who either said they would never vote for Bernie in the general or argued that he could never win bc he’s a socialist Jew will attack anyone criticizing Harris for strategic or moral reasons as handing the election to Trump,” podcast host Katie Halper tweeted.

So, we have quite a Presidential ticket on the Democrat side…a serial groper and a woman who, as Roseanne Barr described her to Candace Owens, “slept her way to he bottom”.

Yesterday morning, the following story ran on nypost.com…

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown has urged ex-girlfriend Sen. Kamala Harris to reject presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden if he asks her to be his running mate.

In an op-ed published in the San Francisco Chronicle over the weekend, Brown advised his ex to “politely decline” Biden’s vice presidential offer, arguing that she should instead aim for US attorney general.

“Harris is a tested and proven campaigner who will work her backside off to get Biden elected. That said, the vice presidency is not the job she should go for — asking to be considered as attorney general in a Biden administration would be more like it,” Brown wrote of the California Democrat, who is widely considered to be the front-runner in the VP race.

Brown, 86, argued that while being included on a presidential ticket “is obviously a huge honor … the glory would be short-lived.”

“Historically, the vice presidency has often ended up being a dead end. For every George H.W. Bush, who ascended from the job to the presidency, there’s an Al Gore, who never got there.”

By the way, Willie Brown was still married while he and Kamala Harris were “dating”.

Classy, huh?

During the upcoming campaign, Harris will probably describe herself as a “progressive prosecutor”, according to University of San Francisco Law Professor Lara Bazelon, in an article she wrote for the New York Times, which was published on January 17, 2019, don’t you believe it.

Time after time, when progressives urged her to embrace criminal justice reforms as a district attorney and then the state’s attorney general, Ms. Harris opposed them or stayed silent. Most troubling, Ms. Harris fought tooth and nail to uphold wrongful convictions that had been secured through official misconduct that included evidence tampering, false testimony and the suppression of crucial information by prosecutors.

Consider her record as San Francisco’s district attorney from 2004 to 2011. Ms. Harris was criticized in 2010 for withholding information about a police laboratory technician who had been accused of “intentionally sabotaging” her work and stealing drugs from the lab. After a memo surfaced showing that Ms. Harris’s deputies knew about the technician’s wrongdoing and recent conviction, but failed to alert defense lawyers, a judge condemned Ms. Harris’s indifference to the systemic violation of the defendants’ constitutional rights.

Ms. Harris contested the ruling by arguing that the judge, whose husband was a defense attorney and had spoken publicly about the importance of disclosing evidence, had a conflict of interest. Ms. Harris lost. More than 600 cases handled by the corrupt technician were dismissed.

Impressive legal career? Hardly.

As the Fox News article above shows, her behavior as prosecutor is not going to make her a popular Vice-residential choice among the members of Black Lives Matter.

Come to think of it, her beneficial “romance” with a married man is not going o endear her to black church-going Americans, either.

Okay, so to say that the choice of Harris as VP Candidate is going to offend some Democrats is an understatement. And, that being the case, her and Sleepy Joe are going t have to present a united front.

But, can they?

Yesterday, FoxNews.com posted the following reminder…

Sen. Kamala Harris, who was announced as presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s running mate on Tuesday, once said that she believed women who accused Biden of inappropriate touching.

“I believe them, and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” the California senator told reporters in April 2019.

Biden had been accused by a number of women of inappropriate touching and kissing, including by a Nevada politician who said he came up behind her at a 2014 campaign stop and kissed her on the back of her head.

“He’s going to have to make that decision for himself,” Harris said when asked if Biden, who hadn’t announced a presidential bid at the point, should still run. “I wouldn’t tell him what to do.”

Well, I was going to call Kamala Harris a hypocrite for accepting the offer to be Sleepy Joe’s VP.

But, considering the fact that she not only was “in a relationship” with a married man but flaunted it around town and as prosecutor she violated defendant’s rights, I would say that she really does not have a moral and ethical stance which she could betray through hypocrisy.

That being said, she and the serial groper should get along just fine.
