It’s Saturday! Here’s your quick thought for today: New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani ticked off New Yorkers once again. This time he vetoed a bill which aimed at combating antisemitism by expanding protest security safeguards for places of education.
In other words, the radical Islamic communist mayor is standing on the side of his fellow travelers.
This will make him very popular with those who were stupid enough to elect him, the foreign-born, the Democrat Elite, and the useful idiots.
The only way I can rationalize this wave of so-called socialist politicians is the fact that they are promising “bread and circuses”. They promise a lot, like Mamdani has, and find their promises to be very hard to fulfill, like the mayor’s promise of free bus rides.
Why are Americans voting for these marxists?
Well, it’s because we have a generation who were taught in school about how glorious Marxism is. They have been programmed to view the government as their mommy, their daddy, and their teddy bear who will make things right if they just hold on to it.
It’s like President Ronald Reagan said,
“How do you tell a Communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It’s someone who understands Marx and Lenin”.
Those who have read Marx and Lenin know that Marxism in all its forms relies on the gullibility and desperation of the average man and woman who are looking for some way out of poverty that will not be as slow and arduous as actually working their way out of it and taking responsibility for themselves.
It requires individuals to give up their individual freedom for a life that is run by a huge central government and its backers from cradle to grave.
It also requires men and women to give up their faith in God and themselves and invest it in lying politicians and those who pull their strings behind the scenes.
The problem with all that, is that in World history, Marxism has never worked.
And, our country’s Democrat Elite, “the smartest people in the room”, just ask them, will not be able to make it work either, no matter what the educated-beyond-their-intelligence political pundits tell the masses yearning for an easy life.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is providing an object lesson about the realities of the failed political theory of Marxism.
I only hope that those who have not paid attention to history, pay attention now.
Until He Comes,
KJ
