Vice President Kamala Harris denigrated the European explorers who discovered the Americas during a Tuesday speech at the National Congress of American Indians 78th Annual Convention.

“Since 1934, every October, the United States has recognized the voyage of the European explorers who first landed on the shores of the Americas,” said Harris. “But that is not the whole story. That has never been the whole story.

“Those explorers ushered in a wave of devastation for Tribal nations — perpetrating violence, stealing land, and spreading disease,” she continued. “We must not shy away from this shameful past, and we must shed light on it and do everything we can to address the impact of the past on Native communities today.”

Harris also claimed that President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda will have “a significant impact on Indian Country.”

After citing the statistics of missing Native American women and girls and claiming the voting rights of Native Americans are suppressed, Harris said, “Native Americans are more likely to live in poverty, to be unemployed, and often struggle to get quality healthcare and to find affordable housing.”

“This persistent inequity, this persistent injustice is not right. And the pandemic has only made it worse,” she added.

Harris said Biden’s $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill will help many of the problems Native Americans face.

“This bill represents the largest infrastructure investment our nation has made since before World War II and presents, right now, an important opportunity to strengthen Indian Country,” she said.

On Monday, Biden became the first president to mark the second Monday in October as Indigenous Peoples Day with a presidential proclamation.

“For generations, Federal policies systematically sought to assimilate and displace Native people and eradicate Native cultures,” Biden wrote. “Today, we recognize Indigenous peoples’ resilience and strength as well as the immeasurable positive impact that they have made on every aspect of American society.”

…it wasn’t all one sided. It’s believed that one Native American disease did slip on to the European ships and sailed onward to Europe doing some major damage in the process. That disease was syphilis.

Columbus “sailed the ocean blue” in 1492. Just three years later, in 1495, the first syphilis epidemic broke out among armies in Italy at the Siege of Naples, seemingly brought by French soldiers who in turn probably got the disease from Spanish mercenaries. Because of the French popularly spreading it, syphilis was initially known as the “French disease.”

There was up until very recently some debate about whether or not syphilis was in fact a “New World” disease because there are over 50 skeletons that have been found with all the markings of syphilis being the cause of death and that were once thought to date to pre-Columbian times. However, advancements in dating technology and a recent (2011) comprehensive study published in the Yearbook of Physical Anthropology looking at all of the skeletons placed those people’s deaths after Columbus returned from the Americas.

The initial syphilis epidemic is thought to have killed upwards of a few million Europeans as it made its rounds.

Don’t you just cringe when somebody like VP Kamala Harris, who was elected by a bunch of “Europeans”, disparages how awful that it was that Columbus began the movement toward the colonization of what is now the United States of America?

Man is a fallen creature. No one is perfect.

The Constantly-warring tribes in Africa would capture a weaker tribe and sell them as slaves to the European Traders.

The North American Indians did not exactly live in peace and harmony with each other, either.

Between this load of garbage and the staged NASA Event with the child actors, Harris continues to prove what a self-centered lightweight that she is.

Even her one-time paramour, Willie Brown, did not think that she should be the Vice-President of the United States of America.

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown has urged ex-girlfriend Sen. Kamala Harris to reject presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden if he asks her to be his running mate.

In an op-ed published in the San Francisco Chronicle over the weekend, Brown advised his ex to “politely decline” Biden’s vice presidential offer, arguing that she should instead aim for US attorney general.

“Harris is a tested and proven campaigner who will work her backside off to get Biden elected. That said, the vice presidency is not the job she should go for — asking to be considered as attorney general in a Biden administration would be more like it,” Brown wrote of the California Democrat, who is widely considered to be the front-runner in the VP race.

Brown, 86, argued that while being included on a presidential ticket “is obviously a huge honor … the glory would be short-lived.”

“Historically, the vice presidency has often ended up being a dead end. For every George H.W. Bush, who ascended from the job to the presidency, there’s an Al Gore, who never got there.”

By the way, Willie Brown was still married while he and Kamala Harris were “dating”.

Classy, huh?

Willie Brown knew that Kamala could not handle the job of Vice-President. He just said it in a tactful, political way.

The woman is unethical, immoral, and clueless.

Perhaps that is why the Democrat Elite chose her to be Joe’s running mate.

They believed that they would be “two peas in a pod”.

The problem with Kamala, as they have found out, is that her arrogance not only exceeds her stupidity, it makes it unbearable and forces it right out in the open.

I shudder to think that she will be Biden’s successor if he has to step down or is impeached.

I was thinking, for just a moment that it would be a good thing if they both got the boot.

Then, I remembers that Nancy Pelosi is third in the line of secession.

…And, I hurled.
