It Turns Out, After WaPo Released the Non-Edited Version of the Trump/Raffensperger Call, That Trump Made Another “Perfect Phone Call”

.However, every bit of it is important and should be read by Patriots everywhere!

The Washington Post on Sunday released audio of a Saturday phone call between himself and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which the two can be heard discussing election results.

The Post initially released snippets of the hour-long call in which Trump can be heard discussing election results with Raffensperger and his lawyer Ryan Germany.

Also joining the call was White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Trump campaign lawyer Cleta Mitchell.

Trump lays out numerous examples of double voting, dead people voting and other ballot irregularities and anomalies.

Raffensperger and Germany counter Trump’s assertions largely with simple claims that the matters Trump raised have been investigated.

Trump insists he won Georgia’s presidential election on Nov. 3 and claims widespread fraud deprived him of that victory.

The Washington Post claimed that in his talk with Raffensperger Trump “repeatedly urged him to alter the outcome of the presidential vote in the state.”

This claim is false.

The transcript of the call shows Trump demanding an honest accounting of the ballots, which he says would give him more than 11,000 votes.

Several key excerpts of the conversation follow.

Trump Lays Out Ballot Fraud, Irregularities:

But we’ve had hundreds of thousands of ballots that we’re able to actually — we’ll get you a pretty accurate number.

You don’t need much of a number because the number that in theory I lost by, the margin would be 11,779.

But you also have a substantial numbers of people, thousands and thousands, who went to the voting place on November 3, were told they couldn’t vote, were told they couldn’t vote because a ballot had been put on their name. And you know that’s very, very, very, very sad.

We had, I believe it’s about 4,502 voters who voted but who weren’t on the voter registration list, so it’s 4,502 who voted, but they weren’t on the voter registration roll, which they had to be. You had 18,325 vacant address voters. The address was vacant, and they’re not allowed to be counted. That’s 18,325.

Smaller number — you had 904 who only voted where they had just a P.O. — a post office box number — and they had a post office box number, and that’s not allowed.

Trump Says Fulton County Videotape Shows Massive Fraud:

We had at least 18,000 — that’s on tape, we had them counted very painstakingly — 18,000 voters having to do with [name]. She’s a vote scammer, a professional vote scammer and hustler [name].

That was the [Fulton County] tape that’s been shown all over the world that makes everybody look bad, you, me and everybody else.

Where they got — number one they said very clearly and it’s been reported that they said there was a major water main break. Everybody fled the area.

And then they came back, [name] and her daughter and a few people.

There were no Republican poll watchers.

Actually, there were no Democrat poll watchers, I guess they were them.

But there were no Democrats, either, and there was no law enforcement. Late in the morning, early in the morning, they went to the table with the black robe and the black shield, and they pulled out the votes.

Those votes were put there a number of hours before — the table was put there — I think it was, Brad, you would know, it was probably eight hours or seven hours before, and then it was stuffed with votes.

They weren’t in an official voter box; they were in what looked to be suitcases or trunks, suitcases, but they weren’t in voter boxes.

The minimum number it could be because we watched it, and they watched it certified in slow motion instant replay if you can believe it, but slow motion, and it was magnified many times over, and the minimum it was 18,000 ballots, all for Biden.

Trump Cites More Examples of Fraud:

You had out-of-state voters. They voted in Georgia, but they were from out of state, of 4,925.

You had absentee ballots sent to vacant, they were absentee ballots sent to vacant addresses. They had nothing on them about addresses, that’s 2,326.

And you had dropboxes, which is very bad. You had dropboxes that were picked up. We have photographs, and we have affidavits from many people.

I don’t know if you saw the hearings, but you have dropboxes where the box was picked up but not delivered for three days.

So all sorts of things could have happened to that box, including, you know, putting in the votes that you wanted.

So there were many infractions, and the bottom line is, many, many times the 11,779 margin that they said we lost by — we had vast, I mean the state is in turmoil over this.

Trump: Says Many Dead People Voted:

The other thing, dead people.

So dead people voted, and I think the number is close to 5,000 people. And they went to obituaries. They went to all sorts of methods to come up with an accurate number, and a minimum is close to about 5,000 voters.

The bottom line is, when you add it all up and then you start adding, you know, 300,000 fake ballots.

Then the other thing they said is in Fulton County and other areas. And this may or may not be true . . . this just came up this morning, that they are burning their ballots, that they are shredding, shredding ballots and removing equipment. . . .

And they supposedly shredded I think they said 300 pounds of, 3,000 pounds of ballots. And that just came to us as a report today. And it is a very sad situation.

But Brad, if you took the minimum numbers where many, many times above the 11,779, and many of those numbers are certified, or they will be certified, but they are certified.

And those are numbers that are there, that exist. And that beat the margin of loss, they beat it, I mean, by a lot, and people should be happy to have an accurate count instead of an election where there’s turmoil.

Trump Sees Fraud Also in Michigan, Pennsylvania:

I mean there’s turmoil in Georgia and other places.

You’re not the only one, I mean, we have other states that I believe will be flipping to us very shortly. And this is something that — you know, as an example, I think it in Detroit, I think there’s a section, a good section of your state actually, which we’re not sure so we’re not going to report it yet.

But in Detroit, we had, I think it was, 139 percent of the people voted. That’s not too good.

In Pennsylvania, they had well over 200,000 more votes than they had people voting. And that doesn’t play too well, and the legislature there is, which is Republican, is extremely activist and angry.

I mean, there were other things also that were almost as bad as that. But they had as an example, in Michigan, a tremendous number of dead people that voted.

I think it was, I think, Mark, it was 18,000.

Some unbelievably high number, much higher than yours, you were in the 4-5,000 category.

Raffensperger Claims Only 2 Dead People Voted:

Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is the data you have is wrong. We talked to the congressmen, and they were surprised.

But they — I guess there was a person named Mr. Braynard who came to these meetings and presented data, and he said that there was dead people, I believe it was upward of 5,000.

The actual number were two. Two. Two people that were dead that voted. So that’s wrong.

Raffensperger Claims Video Did Not Show Fraud:

You’re talking about the State Farm video.

And I think it’s extremely unfortunate that Rudy Giuliani or his people, they sliced and diced that video and took it out of context.

The next day, we brought in WSB-TV, and we let them show, see the full run of tape, and what you’ll see, the events that transpired are nowhere near what was projected by, you know —

Trump Disputes Raffensperger:

But where were the poll watchers, Brad?

There were no poll watchers there. There were no Democrats or Republicans. There was no security there.

It was late in the evening, late in the, early in the morning, and there was nobody else in the room.

Where were the poll watchers, and why did they say a water main broke, which they did and which was reported in the newspapers? They said they left.

They ran out because of a water main break, and there was no water main. There was nothing. There was no break. There was no water main break.

But we’re, if you take out everything, where were the Republican poll watchers, even where were the Democrat pollwatchers, because there were none.

And then you say, well, they left their station, you know, if you look at the tape, and this was, this was reviewed by professional police and detectives and other people, when they left in a rush, everybody left in a rush because of the water main, but everybody left in a rush.

These people left their station.

When they came back, they didn’t go to their station.

They went to the apron, wrapped around the table, under which were thousands and thousands of ballots in a box that was not an official or a sealed box. And then they took those.

They went back to a different station.

So if they would have come back, they would have walked to their station, and they would have continued to work.

But they couldn’t do even that because that’s illegal, because they had no Republican poll watchers.

And remember, her reputation is — she’s known all over the Internet, Brad. She’s known all over.

I’m telling you, “Where’s [name] ” was one of the hot items . . . [name] They knew her. “Where’s [name]?” So Brad, there can be no justification for that. And I, you know, I give everybody the benefit of the doubt. But that was — and Brad, why did they put the votes in three times? You know, they put ’em in three times.

Raffensperger Disputes:

Mr. President, they did not put that. We did an audit of that, and we proved conclusively that they were not scanned three times.

Trump Demands to Know:

Where was everybody else at that late time in the morning? Where was everybody? Where were the Republicans? Where were the security guards?

Were the people that were there just a little while before when everyone ran out of the room.

How come we had no security in the room. Why did they run to the bottom of the table?

Why do they run there and just open the skirt and rip out the votes. I mean, Brad.

And they were sitting there, I think for five hours or something like that, the votes.

Raffensperger Dismisses the Question:

Mr. President, we’ll send you the link from WSB.

Trump Says No Signature Verification:

No, no you don’t [Brad]. No, no you don’t. You don’t have. Not even close.

You’re off by hundreds of thousands of votes.

And just on the small numbers, you’re off on these numbers, and these numbers can’t be just — well, why wont? — Okay.

So you sent us into Cobb County for signature verification, right?

You sent us into Cobb County, which we didn’t want to go into. And you said it would be open to the public. So we had our experts there, they weren’t allowed into the room.

But we didn’t want Cobb County. We wanted Fulton County.

And you wouldn’t give it to us. Now, why aren’t we doing signature — and why can’t it be open to the public?

And why can’t we have professionals do it instead of rank amateurs who will never find anything and don’t want to find anything?

They don’t want to find, you know they don’t want to find anything.

Someday you’ll tell me the reason why, because I don’t understand your reasoning, but someday you’ll tell me the reason why. But why don’t you want to find?

Trump Says 100% of Military Ballots Go for Biden:

And what about that batch of military ballots that came in.

And even though I won the military by a lot, it was 100 percent Trump. I mean 100 percent Biden. Do you know about that?

A large group of ballots came in, I think it was to Fulton County, and they just happened to be 100 percent for Trump — for Biden — even though Trump won the military by a lot, you know, a tremendous amount. But these ballots were 100 percent for Biden.

And do you know about that?

A very substantial number came in, all for Biden. Does anybody know about it? . . .

Okay, Cleta, I’m not asking you, Cleta, honestly. I’m asking Brad. Do you know about the military ballots that we have confirmed now. Do you know about the military ballots that came in that were 100 percent, I mean 100 percent, for Biden. Do you know about that?

Raffensperger Attorney Germany Responds:

I don’t know about that. I do know that we have, when military ballots come in, it’s not just military, it’s also military and overseas citizens. The military part of that does generally go Republican. The overseas citizen part of it generally goes very Democrat. This was a mix of ’em.

Trump Continues:

No, but this was. That’s okay. But I got like 78 percent of the military. These ballots were all for . . . They didn’t tell me overseas.

Could be overseas, too, but I get votes overseas, too, Ryan, in all fairness.

No they came in, a large batch came in, and it was, quote, 100 percent for Biden. And that is criminal.

You know, that’s criminal. Okay. That’s another criminal, that’s another of the many criminal events, many criminal events here.

I don’t know, look, Brad. I got to get . . . I have to find 12,000 votes, and I have them times a lot. And therefore, I won the state. That’s before we go to the next step, which is in the process of right now. You know, and I watched you this morning, and you said, well, there was no criminality.

But I mean all of this stuff is very dangerous stuff. When you talk about no criminality, I think it’s very dangerous for you to say that.

Trump: I Only Need 11,000 Votes

So what are we going to do here, folks?

I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break.

You know, we have that in spades already.

Or we can keep it going, but that’s not fair to the voters of Georgia because they’re going to see what happened, and they’re going to see what happened.

I mean, I’ll, I’ll take on anybody you want with regard to [name] and her lovely daughter, a very lovely young lady, I’m sure. But, but [name] . . . I will take on anybody you want.

And the minimum, there were 18,000 ballots, but they used them three times. So that’s, you know, a lot of votes. And they were all to Biden, by the way, that’s the other thing we didn’t say.

You know, [name] , the one thing I forgot to say, which was the most important. You know that every single ballot she did went to Biden. You know that, right? Do you know that, by the way, Brad?

Every single ballot that she did through the machines at early, early in the morning went to Biden. Did you know that, Ryan?

Germany Responds:

That’s not accurate, Mr. President. . . . The numbers that we are showing are accurate.

Regarding those “Vichy Republicans” like Raffensberger who continue to insist that they are on “our side” and are opposing President Trump contesting rigged Presidential Election “for the good of the country”…

Holding one’s breath until they turn blue, or telling average Amereicans that they are somehow immature, unpatriotic, or treasonous for supporting Donald J. Trump, is not going to change the reality of the situation.

Neither will calls for “unity”..

That’s been tried before.

That is how we got stuck with Petulant President Pantywaist.

If the Republican Establishment keeps mooning average Americans and showcasing their Spines of Jello, instead of supporting a Republican President and his fight against Election Fraud, average Americans are going to show them what they think of them by decimating the House and Senate Republicans in the next Midterm Elections.

However, I am beginning to believe that the Vichy Republicans. for all of their bluster, could care less.

They appear to be willing to do whatever it takes to preserve the Washingtonian Status Quo…including ignoring the wishes of the American Voters, who gave them their cushy jobs.

As it has  proven, without a doubt in the past, the Republican Establishment’s arrogance will be their undoing.

In summation, the American people are tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, remains a breath of fresh air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He’s not a professional politician. He is a businessman who became President of the United States of America…and outworked any professional politician who took on that job in recent memory.

Only if he wants to be a member of the Spineless Vichy Republican Establishment..

New Years Day 2021: Facing America’s Uncertain Future

As we begin a New Year, we find our Sovereign Nation more divided than it has been in decades, almost as it was before the start of the Civil War.

Americans have had to endure a devastating coronavirus, released by Communist China, which took a  horrible toll in terms of American lives, businesses and jobs.

Then, just as Americans were starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel, it turned out to be an oncoming train in the form of Election Fraud, in which a demented old man, who could not even draw a campaign crowd of 200, supposedly inspired 80 million Americans to vote him in as President of the United States of America.

And now, the Democratic Hierarchy and the Vichy Republicans are reticent to actually expose the truth about what actually happened on November 3, 2020, while polls show that the majority of Americans want to know.

Why are those who claim to be our “public servants” so adamant about going against the wishes of the American people?

According to a man who was an American Legend, it all has to do with the way Liberals look at things…

For proof of this, please check out the protests during the Confirmation Hearings for Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, in which Liberals were bussed to Capitol Hill in order to not only disrupt those hearings but intimidate Republican Senators and the sham impeachment of President Trump over a normal phone call with the President of Ukraine.

Luckily, the overwhelming majority of those of us who live between the coasts did not live our lives like the mindless lemmings whom I have named the “New Bolsheviks”.

The rugged individualism of previous generations of Americans flows through our veins. The American “Can-Do” Spirit has taken us from the bottom of the Ocean to the surface of the moon.

The overwhelming majority of Americans will stand by one another in times of crisis, as shown be the outpouring of support throughout the past year’s hurricanes and horrible events such as the California Wildfires.

The intestinal fortitude that is our heritage as Americans…along with that Still, Small Voice which still resides in each and every one of us, will continue, I pray, to guide our nation, and spur us on, to stay vigilant and protect our American Freedom, just as my Parents’ Generation did, against the Axis of Evil.

It is that same Divine Spark which leads our Best and Brightest as they protest and serve our nation’s interests in all corners of the globe. It is also found in our First Responders and the men and women of Law Enforcement who are willing to give their lives to protect our municipalities, such as Corporal Ronil Singh,

I thank God that we have had an AMERICAN PRESIDENT who is not afraid to support them and to take the stand he has for our nation’s safety.

The Great Communicator, President Ronald Reagan, summarized what I have been trying to say better than I ever could.

In 1964, in his famous stump speech, “A Time for Choosing”, The Great Communicator said,

It’s time we asked ourselves if we still know the freedoms intended for us by the Founding Fathers. James Madison said, “We base all our experiments on the capacity of mankind for self government.”

This idea — that government was beholden to the people, that it had no other source of power — is still the newest, most unique idea in all the long history of man’s relation to man. This is the issue of this election: Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American Revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capital can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.

You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man’s age-old dream–the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order — or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism.

As we enter the New Year with an uncertain and frightening future facing our country, it will be up to us to continue what was begun on the night of November 8, 2016 and continue the fight to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, regardless of what happens next Wednesday during the certification.

While I do not know what tomorrow holds, I know Who holds tomorrow…and me.

Vichy Republicans Kemp and Raffensperger Defy and Insult Trump on MSM Sunday Morning Talk Shows, Will Not Call Special Session

Georgia officials rejected President Donald Trump’s effort to pressure them to reverse the state’s election result, a day after he repeated claims of voting fraud and berated the Republican governor and secretary of state.

Trump has suggested calling a special session of the Georgia legislature to consider overturning President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the state, a move that Gov. Brian Kemp isn’t planning to make, Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan said on Sunday.

Calling the special session would be “a solution trying to find a problem,” Duncan, also a Republican, said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “And we’re certainly not going to move the goalposts at this point in the election.”

Holding the session would lead the state down the path of “nullifying the will of people,” said GOP Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on ABC’s “This Week.”

The officials spoke out after Trump held a Saturday rally in Valdosta, Georgia, in which he took aim at Kemp and Raffensperger for not doing more to help throw out Biden’s victory. The president repeated unsubstantiated and outlandish claims that there was a multistate conspiracy by Democrats to cheat in the Nov. 3 election.

The stated purpose of Trump’s rally had been to urge support for two GOP senators facing re-election in contests that will determine control of the upper chamber. But influential Republicans in the state have expressed concern that Trump’s relentless attacks on the election could backfire, hurting GOP Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, who face Jan. 5 run-offs against Democratic challengers.

At the rally, Trump called on his supporters to vote for the two GOP senators even while insisting the Nov. 3 election was corrupt. He even told them to request absentee ballots, a form of voting the president has repeatedly said corrupted the result of his contest with Biden.

Gabriel Sterling, a Republican who’s the state’s voting system manager, said he’s concerned that Trump’s stance could cost Loeffler and Perdue their Senate seats.

“It’s mixed messaging,” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. “It’s confusing and if you’re telling people don’t trust the election system, why would they bother to show up?”

So, Georgia is run by a bunch of Vichy Republicans doing the Democrats’ dirty work for them.

I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

Not really.

If those listed in the above article were Conservative Republicans, they would not be standing up against President Trump on the Liberal Sunday Morning Talk Shows of the Main Stream Media.

They would have sense enough to be able to observe all of the backlash against the Fox News Channel and all of the other Vichy Republicans who have cove out against the President and his team’s efforts to #StopTheSteal and preserve the rights of those American citizens who legally voted.

Instead, Kemp and company are behaving like Stacey Abrams’ lap dogs.

They must have taken Mitt Romney’s Video Training Seminar “How to Be Democrat in Republican’s Clothing”.

I always wonder how sell-outs like these disgraces to the South look at themselves in the mirror.

Then I say to myself,

Self, they’re not looking the mirror. They’re too busy counting all of money that the Democrats are paying them under the table to betray those who trusted them.

Just like the Fox News Channel has.

These Vichy Republicans in Georgia are just like the underachieving employee who sucks up to the Personnel Director or upper management of a company in order to move up to a better paying position without actually doing anything.

Dr. Laurence J. Peter wrote in his 1968 Best Seller “The Peter Principle”, that

Gov. Kemp and his merry band of Vichy Republicans have gone about as far as they are going to rise in politics.

Vichy Republicans Want Trump to Make a Course Correction and Be More of a “Moderate”…Like They Are

Republicans say President Trump should make a course correction and shift his strategy after a series of dismal polls showed him badly trailing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Republican senators thought Trump was cruising to reelection only a few months ago but they now worry his relentless focus on revving up his party’s base is hurting his chances, as well as their own of staying in control of the upper chamber.

“I think right now obviously Trump has a problem with the middle of the electorate, with independents, and they’re the people who are going to decide a national election,” Senate Majority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) said Wednesday.

“I think he can win those back, but it will probably require not only a message that deals with substance and policy, but I think a message that conveys a perhaps different tone,” he added.

Asked if the polling showing Trump well behind Biden is a wake-up call, Thune said it’s a “message” the White House needs to change its strategy.

“These polls are a snapshot in time and the electorate as we know can be very fluid, but I do think it’s a message that there needs to be certainly a change in probably strategy as far as the White House’s messaging is concerned,” he said.

A New York Times-Siena College poll released Wednesday showed Biden leading Trump by 14 points in a nationwide survey of 1,337 registered voters. Biden’s lead was bigger among some key groups. He held a 21-point lead among independents, a 22-point lead among women and a 28-point advantage among white, college-educated voters.

That’s a problem for Senate Republicans, who see women and college-educated voters in the suburbs as critical to keeping their majority.

Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.), a counselor to the Senate GOP leadership, said Trump’s fortunes have shifted with the coronavirus pandemic.

“Pre-COVID … I thought the president could carry the day with women and college-educated voters,” she said, pointing to the nation’s low unemployment and rising wages at the time.

“With high unemployment and the economy shredded by COVID he needed to adjust his message,” she said. “That’s where he probably began slippage.”

“I’m an American woman, I’ve got three kids and seven grandchildren. I want a message of optimism and hope and that’s the measure I think people are looking for,” she added. “That’s not his A-1 message.”

Capito also said the president should focus on “reinforcing to people where we’ve made great progress” such as “improving economic conditions, more women in the workforce” and the “funding of universities and colleges.”

Other Senate Republicans acknowledge that Trump’s polling raises red flags.

“Does it cause concern? Of course. One always has to understand and recognize the current situation,” said Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho).

Asked whether Trump needs to overhaul his political strategy, Crapo responded: “I’m not going to give the president advice on this.”

He also said the political picture could change.

“Polls are always — whether they are good or bad — always instructive, but I’ve learned that a poll is taking a pulse in a specific time frame and they change,” he said.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) identified women and college-educated voters early in the election cycle as key to preserving the Senate GOP majority. He said last year that Republicans lost the House in the 2018 midterms because “we got crushed in the suburbs.”

“We lost college graduates and women in the suburbs, which led in the House to losses in suburban Kansas City; Oklahoma City; Houston; Dallas; Atlanta; Charleston, S.C.,” the GOP leader told reporters last April. “We’re determined not to lose women, certainly not by 19 points, and college graduates in our Senate races. And I don’t think we will.”

Polling released Wednesday shows that Democrats could again have a massive lead among women and college graduates in an election year where the GOP is defending 23 Senate seats while Democrats only have to protect 12.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday showed that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.

Oh, noes! Just 47%!

But, wait…

According to Gallup.com, on this day back in 2012, Obama also had a 47% approval rating.

Say, didn’t Obama win re-election?

Why, yes. He did.

In his tweets lately, President Trump has been referring to America’s “Silent Majority” being bigger than ever.

He’s right.

Average Americans have been going on with their lives as best as they could during the last three months, Watching the President l manner, handling the Kung Flu Pandemic as best as his possible while keeping the economy in a position to take off like a rocket at the first opportunity.

Meanwhile, what have the Democrats been doing?

Well, they have been complaining about President Trump, while Pelosi gave a TV in front of her gigantic freezer filled with gourmet ice cream. Then, when Kung Flu Pandemic wasalmost over and the rioting by BLM and Antifa was in full swing, the Democrats defended their violence and vandals.

And, what about their presumptive Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden?

He’s been hiding in his basement, not giving press conferences because he can’t string 2 sentences together in a coherent fashion.

So, why are these Vichy Republicans tearing Trump apart in the above article?

Well, they are from the John McClain School of Politics which teaches its students that Republicans always bend over backwards for the Democrats and to believe that the Conservative Base is only to be listened to as a political expediency to be ignored until campaign time.

Vichy Republicans on Senate Judiciary Committee Subpoena Trump Jr.

The Senate Intelligence Committee has issued a subpoena for Donald Trump Jr., a source confirmed to Fox News on Wednesday.

The subpoena is in regards to remarks President Trump’s oldest son made while testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2017, The Associated Press reported, citing a person familiar with the situation.

The committee’s desire to speak to Trump Jr. follows testimony from Michael Cohen, the president’s former attorney, in February.

Cohen told a House committee at the time that he had briefed Trump Jr. approximately 10 times about a plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. Trump Jr. told the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2017 he was only “peripherally aware” of the proposal.

The Senate Intelligence Committee has been looking into Russian election interference and Trump’s ties to Russia for the last two years.

The move to subpoena Trump Jr. was met with disapproval from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., who argued that politicians should redirect their energy away from investigating potential Russian collusion.

“.@DonaldJTrumpJr has already spent dozens of hours testifying in front of Congressional committees,” McCarthy tweeted. “Endless investigations—by either party—won’t change the fact that there was NO collusion. It’s time to move on. It’s time to focus on ISSUES, not investigations.”

A source close to Trump Jr. also aired their frustrations about the subpoena to Fox News while slamming Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C. The source spoke about Trump Jr.’s prior testimony, arguing that he has consistently been cooperative.

“Don is a private citizen, who has already been cleared by Mueller after a two-year investigation. He has done 8-9 hours of testimony in front of Senate Intel already and 27 hours of testimony in front of various committees in total,” the source said. “When he originally agreed to testify in front of the Senate Intel Committee in 2017, there was an agreement between Don and the Committee that he would only have to come in and testify a single time as long as he was willing to stay for as long as they’d like, which Don did.”

A comment from Trump Jr. was not immediately available.

It probably would not be repeatable …and wouldn’t blame one bit.

So, why is the Senate Intelligence Committee, chaired by Richard Burr, subpoenaing him to come back to be grilled some more?

While the Vichy Republicans who remain in Washington, DC, like Sen. Richard Burr, continue to be offended by the fact that Donald J. Trump is President, average Americans living between the coasts continue to be offended by “NeverTrumper” Professional Politicians like him.

In fact, the professional politicians on BOTH sides of the political aisle who refuse to accept the findings of the Mueller Report and to let it go, are making those same average Americans ANGRY.

Anger has played an important part in the forging of this great country.

It was anger that formed our country….an anger over being held captive to “Taxation Without Representation”…an anger which, as a prime example of history repeating itself, led Americans to choose a Citizen Statesman for their 45th President over a Professional Politician.

The funny thing is, for all of their angst and “concern”, if they had not accepted the reality of his Primary Victory, and the fact that Americans were angry, they would have gone down to defeat in 2016 and the company would be suffering under the oppressive rule of President Hillary Clinton.

The Republican Establishment would have never achieved victory by once again trying to push the Jello of “Liberal Moderation” up a hill.

Democrats still do not understand how Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election, says talk titan Rush Limbaugh, host of ‘The Rush Limbaugh Show.’

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh didn’t mince words while addressing multiple issues Tuesday on “The Story with Martha MacCallum” but his strongest hits were aimed at Republicans who had yet to fully jump on the President Trump bandwagon.

“Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, we are not in politics. We are media titans, but we are not in politics. It is the party of Donald Trump right now, and the Republicans that don’t realize that had better get on board,” Limbaugh said, reacting to a New York Times op-ed by Joe Lockhart, a press secretary to then-President Bill Clinton.

“Republicans today are the party of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson — a coalition that, in the face of every demographic trend in America, will mean the long-term realignment of the federal government behind the Democrats,” Lockhart wrote Monday.

Limbaugh said Lockhart’s words were an example of frustration within the Democrats.

“They haven’t been able to ‘defeat me’ in 30 years. They can’t defeat Trump. They haven’t been able to stop him, and I think they are frustrated. They have thrown every weapon they have in their arsenal at Donald Trump, and nothing’s worked. Things they’ve used over the years that have been readily available to get rid and take out any Republican they want, they have bounced off of Trump,” Limbaugh told Martha MacCallum.

Limbaugh criticized the Republican party for not fully standing behind Trump and celebrating his “victory” when the Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report was released. He also noted that Trump wasn’t just taking on the Democratis but was battling the Washington establishment — including Republicans.

“Where’s the Republican party with the celebratory emails to their voters? Even fund-raising, or just celebrating the victory, where are they? You don’t hear them. The reason is, Martha, because this is a battle not between two parties, this is a battle between the Washington establishment and the deep state, I call them the administrative state, and outsiders and Americans who feel disenfranchised or unattached,” Limbaugh said.

Limbaugh also went after Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, for saying he was “sickened” by the president’s actions as documented in the Mueller report.

“There is no reason not to get behind him unless you don’t like his voters, and that is where I think the key to understanding this is,” Limbaugh said

Senate Vichy Reps Help Dems Vote to End Emergency Declaration…Trump Will Veto…Vichy Reps Still Clueless

Senate Republicans joined their Democratic colleagues on Thursday in voting to block President Trump’s border emergency declaration — a move that will prompt the president’s first-ever veto.

The president made his intentions crystal clear, tweeting “VETO!” moments after the resolution cleared Congress. The White House said Trump likely would issue the veto Friday.

The measure passed 59-41 as a dozen Republicans joined Democrats in voting for the resolution, despite White House efforts to keep the GOP united on the issue of border security. Those GOP members who backed the resolution cited concerns about the expansion of presidential powers.

“I’m going to be voting in favor of the resolution of disapproval,” Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, told reporters ahead of the vote. “This is a constitutional question, it’s a question of the balance of power that is core to our constitution.”

“This is not about the president or border security, in fact I support border security, I support a barrier,” he said.

The other Republicans who voted to oppose the declaration were Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah; Rob Portman, R-Ohio; Susan Collins, R-Maine; Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska; Marco Rubio, R-Fla.; Rand Paul, R-Ky.; Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.; Roger Wicker, R-Miss.; Roy Blunt, R-Mo.; Jerry Moran, R-Kan.; and Pat Toomey, R-Pa.

Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., had said he would oppose the declaration but reversed course on the Senate floor, saying that he was “sympathetic” to Trump’s push to deal with the crisis at the border.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., before the vote, said he “takes his hat off” to Republicans voting with Democrats, while accusing Trump of “going around Congress” with the declaration.

“This is a momentous day,” he said, declaring that the balance of power was shifting back toward Congress.

The measure heads next to Trump’s desk, having previously passed the House. However, Trump plans to veto, and it’s unlikely the House and Senate could muster the required two-thirds majority to override.

Trump originally issued the emergency declaration last month after Congress granted only a fraction of the $5.7 billion he requested for a wall on the southern border. Declaring a national emergency allows Trump to steer an extra $3.6 billion to the wall.

I have been posting my thoughts and opinions everyday since April of 2018.

Somewhere along the way, I coined the term “Vichy Republicans” to describe those professional politicians up on Capitol Hill who acted more like squishy left-leaning members of the opposite party than Rock-ribbed Republicans.

Instead, they were and apparently remain “go along to get along” milksops, whose closest thing to a spine which they could ever claim was found on the side of their college textbooks.

Now, just as they did throughout the nightmarish years of the Obama Administration, these Vichy Republicans have proven that they are clueless as to the wishes of the average American Voters who gave them their cushy government jobs.

Their fear as to what the next Democrat President might do in regards to issuing their own “Emergency Declarations” (assuming that the Dems ever have another Presidential Candidate elected), has apparently overwhelmed their concern for the safety of their fellow Americans and their compassion for the “Angel Moms” and other family members of those already murdered by illegal aliens who should not have been in our country to begin with.

The cluelessness of these Vichy Republicans also extends to a lack of understanding as to why none of their hand-picked 2016 Presidential Candidates became the 45th President of the United States of America and American Businessman and Citizen Statesman Donald J. Trump was elected.

The simple reason for Trump’s election was average Americans’ anger as the Washingtonian Status Quo…the same status quo that was on display in the Senate, yesterday.

Americans voted for Trump because they wanted someone in the Oval Office who cared more about us than the opinion of their fellow politicians representing the Democratic Party. A party which, while holding the office of the presidency, attempted to flush America down the porcelain receptacle and replace our Constitutional Republic with a form of Marxism they euphemistically call “Democratic Socialism”.

Evidently, those 12 Republicans who voted with their Democratic Brethren yesterday, miss the days of the Washingtonian Status Quo.

Too bad.

President Trump, with the stroke of a pen, is about to remind them of the efficacy of his Presidential Powers.

He is trying to make America great again.

The Vichy Republicans in the Senate can either help him AND US AVERAGE AMERICANS in that effort or simply resign, like others of their ilk already have, and go home.

America has already experienced one Benedict Arnold.

The Emp…err…Establishment Strikes Back: The Defeat of Roy Moore – A KJ Analysis

I am so glad that a bunch of stuffed shirts in (said in my best Pace Picante Sauce commercial voice) New York City, the Beltway, and the Left Coast, knew what was best for voters in Alabama.

Evidently, those who are aligned with the DC Republican Establishment up in the Northeast Corridor are just as clueless as the Democratic Elite who believed that America would elect a stone cold bi…err….Hillary Clinton as our president.

Just as it was blatantly obvious that the “Trial By Media” of Judge Roy Moore was a set-up, it has also now come into sharp focus as to who was pulling the strings of the marionettes involved and why.

Politico reported on Monday that the George Soros-funded Priorities USA Action and Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) Senate Majority PAC are the dark money behind the Alabama shell group that has spent more than $4.1 million to defeat conservative Republican Roy Moore in Tuesday’s Alabama U.S. Senate special election in which he faces liberal Democrat Doug Jones:

Highway 31, which has dropped more than $4.1 million in support of Jones and against Roy Moore ahead of Tuesday’s Senate special election, is a joint project of two of the largest national Democratic super PACs — Senate Majority PAC and Priorities USA Action — along with a group of Alabama Democrats, multiple senior officials familiar with the arrangement told POLITICO.

Highway 31 filed its statement of organization with the Federal Election Commission on November 6, and in its 36 days of existence has delivered almost all of its $4.1 million of political messaging on credit provided by its largest vendors, three secretive Washington D.C. based consulting firms founded and run by former Obama campaign staffers.

The firms are Waterfront Strategies, a wholly owned subsidiary of GMMB Consulting, founded and run by former Obama campaign staffer Jim Margolis; Bully Pulpit Interactive, founded and run by former Obama campaign staffer Andrew Bleeker; and Putnam Partners, founded and run by former Obama campaign staffer Mark Putnam.

Federal Election Commission records show that Priorities Action USA raised and spent $192 million in the 2016 election cycle. The vast majority of the funds raised–$130 million out of $192 million–was donated by 37 individuals, each of whom donated more than $500,000. Among the top donors were New York City financier James Simons, who donated $11 million; Fred Eyechaner of Chicago, Illinois, who donated $11 million; George Soros, who donated $9.5 million; his son Alex Soros, who donated $1 million; and Hollywood mavens Steven Spielberg and Jeff Katzenberg, who donated $1 million each.

Not a single one of these 37 individuals are residents of Alabama–14 are from California, nine are from New York, five are from Florida, three are from Illinois, two are from Connecticut, and one each are from Washington, D.C., Michigan, Texas, and Nevada.

The Senate Majority PAC spent almost all the $92 million it raised in the 2016 election cycle. Two-thirds of the money it raised came from donors who gave more than $200. George Soros was among those larger donors, contributing $1.5 million, as was his son, Alex Soros, who contributed $3.5 million.

Neither PAC has filed a report with the FEC since the period ending on June 30, 2017. Their next required filings, covering the period between July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, are not required to be filed with the FEC, by law, until January of 2018.

Nor is the Alabama-based shell independent organization it spawned, Highway 31, required to file another financial status report with the FEC until January 21, 2018, more than a month after Tuesday’s election.

Circumstantial evidence to support Monday’s report in Politico that Highway 31 “is a joint project” between Priorities USA Action PAC and the Senate Majority PAC can be found in the 2016 election cycle reports filed with the FEC by the Senate Majority PAC. The majority of the $91 million it spent in the 2016 election cycle–a little more than $65 million–was paid to a single vendor: Waterfront Strategies, the same consulting firm that provided more than $1 million of advertising services to Highway 31 between November 6 and November 22, entirely on credit.

November 22 was the ending period of the first and only financial status report that Highway 31 filed with the FEC. It showed that as of that date, the shell group had no assets and no cash, but owed Waterfront Strategies, Bully Pulpit Interactive, and Putnam Partners a little more than $1.7 million for services provided between November 6 and November 22.

Since November 22, Highway 31 incurred an additional $2.4 million in advertising expenditures, bringing its total to $4.1 million.

It is not known if Highway 31’s vendors have provided these additional services on credit to date.

It hardly matters, because it seems quite likely that at some point subsequent to the election on Tuesday, any one of the wealthy liberal donors who have funded Priorities USA Action PAC and the Senate Majority Fund–George Soros, James Simon, Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg–can stroke a check for the full amount of any debts incurred by Highway 31, and the money will be passed through the Priorities USA Action PAC or the Senate Majority Fund to Highway 31 and immediately moved on to the vendors.

Though “multiple senior officials familiar with the arrangement”– presumably at Priorities USA Action PAC and the Senate Majority Fund –appeared eager to share their dark money secret, on background of course, with Politico the day before the Alabama U.S. Senate special election, a spokesperson for Highway 31 chose to play it coy when contacted by Breitbart News.

“Highway 31 continues to follow every appropriate rule and regulation. Highway 31 will file contributors per the FEC reporting schedule,” Highway 31 executive director Adam Muhlendorf told Breitbart News when asked to confirm or deny the Politico report that the PAC “is a joint project of two of the largest national Democratic super PACs — Senate Majority PAC and Priorities USA Action.”

It wasn’t bad enough that Moore was fighting against these two huge Progressive Democrat Super Pacs…he was fighting the GOP Elite…the Vichy Republicans…also!!!

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies as “friends”, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It was especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. and now, at almost the end of the first year of Trump’s Presidency, Congress remains oblivious to the anger of average Americans, living here in the Heartland, during the 2016 President Election, which gave them control of Capitol Hill.

It is that same anger that led to the defeat of Luther Strange and the victory of the “outsider”, Former Judge Roy Moore, who seemed to be a shoo-in to be a two-year Replacement Senator from Alabama.

The President needs to hold meetings with Congressional Leaders and point out the glaring lesson in the state of Modern American Politics that Alabama taught yesterday.

That lesson is the fact that the Republican Establishment teamed up with the Democrats and George Soros to defeat an individual whom they deemed “not worthy enough” to be a U.S. Senator.

The same fate would have befallen Donald J. Trump in November of 2016, if this new “Axis of Evil” had not greatly underestimated “the Trump Train”.

I hope that the Vichy Republicans, sitting on their bar stools at the GOP Elite Country Club, are ready for the blowback which they are about to receive.

Americans have had their fill of Establishment Politicians on both sides of the aisle, who only pretend to listen to “the folks back home” during obligatory Town Hall Meetings and when they are out stumping for re-election to their phony baloney jobs.

“Hrumph!”

Like the Far Left Democrats, the Vichy Republicans once again, of their own volition, have placed themselves, like the mythical gods on Mount Olympus, completely out-of-touch with us “little people”…the Americans whom they purport to represent.

And, like the before-mentioned Democrats, McConnell, Ryan, et al, will also find themselves out of power after the Mid-term Elections of 2018, if they do not immediately start treating average Americans here in the Heartland who placed an “outsider” in the Presidency, with the respect due us…

And, if they don’t, then it will be up to us voters to continue the job of “Draining the Swamp” that President Trump has started.

Vichy (Establishment) Republicans Consider Distancing Themselves From the President Who Got Elected Due to Their Tone-Deaf Failure to Do Their Jobs.

I believe that the Republican Party is stuck in a cycle in which their desire to protect their own hindquarters and cushy “jobs” has lead to a self-imposed isolation from the very American Citizens who were responsible for their having those cushy “jobs” in the first place. – kingsjester, 12/13/16

Sweeping losses in Tuesday’s elections have exacerbated a growing rift inside the GOP over whether the party’s candidates should embrace President Donald Trump in next year’s midterms — or make a clean break.

With Trump’s approval ratings cratering in swing states across the country, some senior party strategists are imploring lawmakers to abandon the president. Others argue that shunning Trump and his populist base is simply out of the question and that anything other than a full embrace of the president would spell electoral disaster.

In the Virginia gubernatorial race, Republican Ed Gillespie tried to have it both ways — with disastrous consequences. Gillespie, who privately agonized about the degree to which Trump should be involved in the contest, refused to campaign with the president. But at the same time, he trumpeted Trump’s culture war issues in ads.

White House advisers spent Wednesday combing through the election results and fuming about Gillespie’s have-it-both-ways approach. By keeping Trump at arm’s length, they said, Gillespie squandered an opportunity to motivate conservatives whose support he needed.

“He wouldn’t embrace the president, so the base that came out to vote for the president and that voted for me, didn’t come out,” said Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart, a Trump campaign official who nearly defeated Gillespie in the June GOP primary. “The Trump-Stewart base just didn’t turn out.”

Others, however, said Gillespie — an establishment-minded former Beltway lobbyist who never felt entirely at ease highlighting populist issues — went too far in aligning himself with the president. By vowing to preserve the state’s Confederate monuments and to combat MS-13 gang violence, they argued, the candidate fired up Democrats in the state’s population centers and liberal northern suburbs.

“Be yourself and run your own campaign,” said GOP strategist John Weaver, a veteran of presidential campaigns. “Don’t embrace this nationalist approach.”

Trump, he added, “is a tremendous drag in a general election.”

Republicans running down-ballot have long grappled with how to deal with the president. But as Trump’s poll numbers wane and the midterm season grows closer, the debate has taken on greater urgency. While the president’s approval ratings have plummeted in moderate and liberal areas, his core base of supporters has remained steadfast.

The dilemma is expected to be a major topic of discussion next week at the Republican Governors Association annual meeting in Austin, Texas. And top House GOP campaign strategists, trying to preserve their now-tenuous majority, said they wanted to look more deeply into the Virginia results before drawing conclusions.

“It’s quite a predicament,” said Tony Fabrizio, a longtime GOP pollster who worked on the Trump campaign.

“You can’t be the anti-Trump guy in the primary. But you don’t want to be the 100-percent-for-Trump guy in the general,” he added. “When you go to one extreme or the other, that’s when you fall short.”

Gillespie spent months trying to perform a balancing act. He emerged from the June primary deeply frustrated, after Trump supporters nearly powered Stewart to an upset victory. Gillespie vented about his political operation and even considered a staff shakeup. The former national party chairman sketched out several possible paths forward, including a full-on embrace of the president.

But Gillespie — who in 2006 penned an op-ed in which he warned the GOP against becoming an “anti-immigration party” — never felt truly comfortable running under the Trump banner, people close to the campaign said. So he adopted a moderated approach, airing commercials that spotlighted Trump-centric issues like MS-13 and the Confederate monuments, while avoiding attaching himself to the president personally.

Gillespie’s team deliberated extensively about whether to bring in Trump for a campaign event in conservative southwest Virginia. The candidate ended up having Vice President Mike Pence hold a campaign rally and fundraiser for him. Gillespie never made a hard ask for the commander-in-chief.

In the end, Gillespie released about $500,000 worth of mailers highlighting the president’s endorsement of him. Trump also sent a batch of tweets highlighting his support. On Monday evening and then on Election Day, Trump released a robocall bashing Democratic candidate Ralph Northam. One wave of the calls was directed to southwestern Virginia.

White House officials were dismayed by Gillespie’s approach, convinced that he ultimately got the worst of both worlds — ginning up liberal turnout without ever fully motivating Trump’s core supporters.

“GOP candidates cannot keep Trump at arm’s length right up until the end and then expect to energize the base,” said conservative radio show host Laura Ingraham, an outspoken Trump backer. “It seems inauthentic because it is.”

Stewart, for his part, said he reached out to Gillespie multiple times after the primary in hopes of persuading him to run a more pro-Trump campaign. But he said Gillespie never expressed much interest.

Tying oneself to Trump, however, may do little to stem a rising tide of liberal enthusiasm. As they pored over voter figures on Wednesday, Gillespie’s strategists conceded they had been caught off guard by the wave of Democratic turnout.

“If you’re in a district or state with a high percentage of college-educated white voters, you should be quaking in your boots right now,” said Phil Cox, a Gillespie adviser and former executive director of the Republican Governors Association.

He noted that Democrats far outperformed turnout expectations in an off-year election.

As to the difficult question of whether Republicans should align themselves with the president, “There will be a political market test,” Cox said. “Candidates will determine the outcome.”

These Vichy Republicans do understand that Trump won with 46% of the vote and according to RasmussenReports,com , his popularity is polling at 42%, don’t they?

That’s hardly “cratering”.

Our economy has come roaring back under the 45th President.

The Unemployment Rate is down to a percentage not seen since 2000.

Stocks are through the roof.

Corporations are moving back to America.

Consumer Confidence is up.

So is the confidence of our allies.

Trump was called the “Leader of the World” by one of the Foreign Dignitaries on his ongoing 11-Day Asia Trip.

And this is the guy whom they want to distance themselves from?

Do the Vichy Republicans want to be the Democrats’ whipping boy for the next millennium?

What slays me about the Establishment Republicans is that they seem to be quite content, in their moderately Left-leaning stupor, even after the mandate that We The People delivered to them on November 8th, 2016, to be totally oblivious and tone-deaf of their Base, average hard-working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies as “friends”, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It was especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. And that is why they lost those Gubernatorial Elections on Tuesday.

In 1975, Ronald Wilson Reagan gave a speech which sums up our present situation and average Americans’ visceral disdain for the Professional Politicians, who value the Washingtonian Status Quo, above US.

Americans are hungry to feel once again a sense of mission and greatness.

I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” — when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

Note to the GOP Elite:

You guys are now facing the same situation that faced Victor von Frankenstein, in the classic movie: You have created this “monster”.

…a pi$$ed-off base who voted for an “outsider”, a non-professional politician talking directly to the people…

And, you have lost control.

Your only hope is to catch this lighting in a bottle and to ride this lightning bolt all the way through Donald J. Trump’s tenure as President of the United States of America, supporting him and passing legislation in accordance with the wishes of the American Voters who made him the “Leader of your Political Party”.

Your phony baloney jobs are at stake.

If you do not straighten up and perform your job under the mandate which we gave you on November 8, 2016, those jobs which you have become so comfortable in, can and will be taken away in the next Midterm Elections, as demonstrated on Tuesday Night.

The American People replaced a Professional Politician who screwed up the country with a Citizen Statesman.

You are not exempt from the same fate.

Moore Defeats Strange. A Refudiation of Trump or An Object Lesson for the Vichy Republicans? – A KJ Analysis

As “Stars Fell on Alabama” last night, another Professional Politician was defeated by an “outsider”.

Foxnews.com reports that

Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore was projected to soundly defeat Sen. Luther Strange in a GOP primary runoff that pitted President Donald Trump against some of his most loyal supporters, including former chief strategist Steve Bannon, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and a slew of conservative members of the House of Representatives.

With 42 percent of the precincts reporting, Moore lead Strange 57 percent to 43 percent, a margin of just over 25,000 votes. State officials estimated a low turnout of between 12 and 15 percent of eligible voters.

Moore is now the favorite in December’s general election against Democrat Doug Jones, a lawyer and former U.S. attorney during President Bill Clinton’s administration. The winner of that race will complete the Senate term started by Attorney General Jeff Sessions and be up for re-election in 2020.

Strange lost despite the endorsement of Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, both of whom traveled to Alabama to make the case for the incumbent in the final week of the race.

At a rally in Huntsville Friday, Trump portrayed Strange as loyal to him and said he appreciated how Strange agreed to vote for ObamaCare replacement legislation this summer without asking any favors from him. However, Trump’s endorsement was overshadowed nationally by his attack on NFL players who kneel during the National Anthem prior to games.

Trump posted a Tweet before voting began Tuesday morning, imploring Alabamians to “Finish the job [and] vote for ‘Big Luther.'”

Pence also flew to Birmingham on Monday evening to campaign for Strange.

“Luther Strange is a real conservative. He’s a leader and a real friend to President Trump. I got to tell you, Big Luther has been making a big difference in Washington,” Pence said before exiting the stage to the tune of “Sweet Home Alabama.”

A super PAC aligned with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Kentucky also pumped millions of dollars into the race on behalf of Strange – a move that likely played into Moore’s pitch as the anti-establishment candidate.

“Mitch McConnell needs to be replaced and your vote tomorrow may determine that,” Moore said Monday at a Fairhope rally attended by Bannon, Brexit leader Nigel Farage, and “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson.

Bannon told the crowd that Alabama can show the world “that this populist, nationalist, conservative movement is on the rise.”

“A vote for Roy Moore is a vote for Donald J. Trump,” Bannon said.

Wearing a white cowboy hat and leather vest at the rally Monday night, Moore repeated the conservative Christian themes he has used his entire public career. He also lashed out at attack ads run against him in the race, including one suggesting he was weak on gun rights. “I believe in the Second Amendment,” Moore said, pulling a handgun from his pocket.

Moore, known in Alabama as the “Ten Commandments Judge,” has a colorful political history that has both fueled and complicated his rise.

Moore first received national attention in the 1990s as a county judge when he hung a wooden Ten Commandments plaque on the wall of his courtroom. The ACLU filed a lawsuit against him.

Benefiting from his popularity after the episode, Moore then ran and won a race for chief justice of the state’s Supreme Court in 2000. But he was ousted after refusing to remove a 5,280-pound granite Ten Commandments monument from the rotunda of the state judicial building.

Moore resurrected his political career in 2012, when he was elected chief justice again. But his second tenure was short-lived: in 2016, Moore was suspended as chief justice after he directed probate judges not to issue marriage certificates to gay couples.

Strange, the former attorney general in Alabama, was temporarily appointed to the seat in April by then-Gov. Robert Bentley, who has since resigned in disgrace. Opponents have used the appointment against Strange, accusing Bentley of naming him to the seat so he could install someone who might be more sympathetic to him in the state attorney general’s office.

On the outskirts of Montgomery, 76-year-old Air Force retiree John Lauer said Trump’s endorsement swayed him to vote for Strange on Tuesday.

“I voted for Strange. I’m a Trump voter. Either one is going to basically do the Trump agenda, but since Trump came out for Luther, I voted for Luther,” said Lauer said.

Merlene Bohannon, a widow with three grown children, said she had planned to vote for Strange until seeing Bannon stump for Moore on Fox News on Monday night.

“Steve Bannon and God spoke to me, and this morning when I went in I voted for Moore,” said Bohannon, 74.

What you will be hearing and seeing through the Main Stream Media all day long today, is how this is a repudiation of president Trump, since he went out to stump for him.

The thing is, as an “outsider” who is desperately trying to get Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Vichy Republicans in the Senate to get up off their posteriors and help him fulfill his campaign promises to the American People, he really had no choice.

I am sure that the behind he scene conversation between the President and Mitch “Turtle” McConnell included some wheeling and dealing which lead to the President and Vice-President endorsing “Big Luther” over Roy Moore, in exchange for the Vichy Republicans’ “co-operation”.

While Trump was fulfilling his part of the likely bargain, the Establishment Republicans whom he was stumping for were, once again, doing what they do best…nothing.

The Senate will not vote on the Graham-Cassidy bill to repeal Obamacare, Republican leaders announced Tuesday, dealing a devastating blow to President Donald Trump and GOP lawmakers who tried to make a last-ditch attempt to deliver on the party’s years-long campaign promise. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced the decision at a lunch with fellow Republicans on Capitol Hill, conceding what had become clear Monday night: They didn’t have the votes.

“We haven’t given up on changing the American health care system. We are not going to be able to do that this week,” McConnell told reporters Tuesday. “But it still lies ahead of us, and we haven’t given up on that.”
 
Even as McConnell and his colleagues vowed that their goal of overhauling the country’s health care system was far from over, Tuesday marked a clear end to the latest campaign to try to jam through a partisan bill to gut the Affordable Care Act. The budget vehicle Republicans were using to move the bill forward without any Democratic support was set to expire at the end of this week.

The sponsors of Graham-Cassidy said they were disappointed but would try again — next time through a more transparent process. The new plan, they said, is to take another crack at health care through the 2019 budget reconciliation process (which would again only require 50 votes for passage) and hold committee hearings, markups and reach out to Democrats.
