California School Teacher Makes Fun of Our Flag and Suggests That Students Pledge Allegiance to Gay Pride Flag Instead

FoxNews.com reports that

A California school district is investigating a teacher after she posted a video admitting that she encouraged her students to pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag after she removed the American flag from her classroom.

“Okay, so during third period, we have announcements and they do the pledge of allegiance,” the teacher, identified as Kristin Pitzen of Newport Mesa School District in Orange County, said in a video posted to social media. “I always tell my class, stand if you feel like it, don’t stand if you feel like it, say the words if you want, you don’t have to say the words.”

“So, my class decided to stand but not say the words. Totally fine,” she continued in the now-viral video.

“Except for the fact that my room does not have a flag,” she said, explaining that she removed the flag during the pandemic and then whispered to the camera, “because it made me uncomfortable.”

She went on to say that one of her students asked where they should look during the pledge of allegiance since there is no American flag in the classroom.

“In the meantime, I tell this kid, ‘We do have a flag in the class that you can pledge your allegiance to. And he like, looks around and goes, ‘Oh, that one?'” and points to the pride flag.

The Newport Mesa School District told Fox News on Saturday that the incident is under investigation, but could not provide more details as it does not “discuss employee related matters.”

“We are aware of this incident and are investigating. While we do not discuss employee related matters, we can tell you that showing respect and honor for our nation’s flag is a value that we instill in our students and an expectation of our employees. We take matters like this seriously and will be taking action to address it,” public relations officer for the district, Annette Franco, told Fox News.

The video has meanwhile garnered backlash on social media, including from former acting director of national intelligence Ric Grenell.

“What kind of parent would allow their child to be taught by this wacko? Why are parents turning their kids over to someone they don’t know? I’d like to talk to people who think this is good?!?” Grenell wrote on Twitter, accompanied by the video.

Why would a teacher in a public school purposefully denigrate our nation’s flag while endorsing the lifestyle of approximately 2% of America’s population?

Simple. This young woman has been raised under the freedom-stifling indoctrination of a State Educational System which genuflects to the ideology of Political Correctness.

This ideology preaches that all cultures are equally good, all “religions” lead to God, America is NOT exceptional, and American Patriotism is “jingoistic”.

Oh, and if your parents do not believe this “truth”, you should ignore them….and snitch on them to the authorities…especially if they own a gun.

The multi-headed snake of Political Correctness has been slithering its way into our Popular Culture for years.

However, it really kicked into high gear with the immaculation…err…inauguration of its messiah, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), who stated that America was “not Just a Christian Nation” and those of us here in the Heartland, were “bitterly clinging to our Bibles and guns”.

Growing up in the Heartland of America, starting in elementary school, every student said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, facing the American Flag in the corner of our classroom with our hands placed firmly over our hearts.

And, I can tell you from first hand experience, that act of allegiance and reverence for our country still takes place every morning in schools across this country, including those here in Mississippi.

Why is this done?

Is it some sort of arcane ritual that has no meaning in this Modern America, where our Liberal politicians preach that diversity is what makes America strong and that the “Melting Pot” image of a unified America is no longer relevant?

Liberals, all over the Internet, have been asking what difference does it make if kids recite the pledge or not?

I’m glad you asked, Libs.

The Pledge of Allegiance is more than just words being said to an inanimate object.

Just as America’s Founding Fathers pledged “their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor” to one another, as they fought to secure our American Freedom from the forces of tyranny, every time Americans recite our Pledge of Allegiance, we are pledging our loyalty to each other as Americans, and to our country.

This is not a pledge to be taken lightly. This is not a pledge which was designed to be said in the language of our enemies.

This is a pledge which was meant to be said sincerely and said in a way that honors the flag of our country, a symbol which brave men have fought and died for in defense of our liberty.

As I have written before, my friend Johnny McDonald once wrote that “liberty is freedom with responsibility”. Our nation’s Pledge of Allegiance is a pledge of responsibility… a responsibility to keep America “The Shining City on a Hill”… a country where legal immigrants can begin their new lives as Americans…”one nation under God with liberty and justice for all”.

Maybe this teacher in California was never properly explained the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance.

As I take my leave today, America’s Clown Prince, Mr. Richard (Red) Skelton, will explain it, so that even she might understand.  God Bless America!

American Humanist Association Demands “Under God” Be Removed From the Pledge. Americans Say “No”.

pledgeofallegianceBefore I start in with the particulars of today’s Blog, please allow me to present three facts…

  • Per Gallup.com, 76% of Americans are Christians.
  • 92% of Americans believe in God.
  • Therefore, atheists make up just 8% of America’s Population.

Small, but vocal. You won’t believe what they’re claiming concerning our country’s Pledge of Allegiance.

TheBlaze.com reports that

More than one-third of Americans support removing “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance, according to an atheist activist group.

The American Humanist Association claims that a survey it commissioned through the Seidewitz Group, a research firm, found that, when given details about the history of the national expression of loyalty, 34 percent of Americans actually support removing “under God” from the Pledge.

This is significant, as the proportions differ greatly from the single-digit support seen for the removal in at least one recent survey — and the atheist group believes that’s because of one key difference in the way it posed the question.

Before being asked for their opinion on the removal of the controversial phrase, respondents were given some background on the issue.

“For its first 62 years, the Pledge of Allegiance did not include the phrase ‘under God,’” those taking the poll were told before answering the question. “During the Cold War, in 1954, the phrase ‘one nation indivisible’ was changed to read ‘one nation, under God, indivisible.’ Some people feel this phrase in our national pledge should focus on unity rather than religion.”

Based on this information, respondents were then asked if the U.S. should return to the “unchanged version” or continue with the “changed version” of the Pledge.

A majority — 66 percent of Americans — said they’d like to see “under God” remain, with one-third of the nation supporting a removal.

The American Humanist Association, though, has made it clear that it opposes the current wording, with executive director Roy Speckhardt claiming that it ”marginalizes atheists, agnostics, humanists and other nontheists because it presents them as less patriotic, simply because they do not believe in God.”

The atheist group noted that these proportions are intriguing, as they differ from past research on the matter. As TheBlaze reported earlier this year, a survey from LifeWay Research, a Christian polling firm, found that the vast majority of Americans have no problem with the words “under God” in the Pledge.

When asked, “Should the words ‘under God’ be removed from or remain in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America?,” 85 percent of respondents opted to keep the current wording. Only 8 percent of those surveyed said it should be removed.

The American Humanist Association believes that educating Americans about the origins of the wording in its survey actually helped increase the proportion of those opposing “under God.”

“We are encouraged by these findings, which suggest with even a small amount of education, more Americans are in favor of restoring the Pledge to its original wording,” Speckhardt said.

The organization also asked Americans about the appropriateness of opening meetings in the names of Jesus or Allah. While 47.7 percent felt it was inappropriate to open prayers in Jesus’ name, this proportion jumped to 75.6 percent when respondents were asked about Allah.

The sample size of 1,000 Americans were drawn in May from an online panel with a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percent at the 95 percent confidence level.

Why does the American Humanist Association believe that they can get by with such a ludicrous proposal, backed-up with an obviously-rigged poll?

It’s because respect for our nation’s flag is non-existent in our nation’s Halls of Power.

For example. let’s go back to 9/13/11, 2 days after America solemnly remembered the 10th anniversary of the worst attack ever on American soil by Islamic Terrorists.  James Robbins wrote the following story for The Washington Times, in which he illuminated a whispered conversation between the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, and First Lady, Michelle Obama:

The internet was buzzing this week with video of First Lady Michelle Obama apparently showing extreme disrespect to the American flag at a ceremony in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. As police and firefighters fold the flag to the sound of marching bagpipers, a skeptical looking Mrs. Obama leans to her husband and appears to say, “all this just for a flag.” She then purses her lips and shakes her head slightly as Mr. Obama nods.

Yes.  All this for a flag.  And, for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in its service

Dear Lord.

Section 4 of the Flag Code states:

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”, should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute.”

So, why should “under God” remain in Pledge of Allegiance to Our Flag?

The Godfather of Conservative Radio Talk Show Hosts, Rush Limbaugh, wrote the following, in a piece titled “The Americans Who Risked Everything:

Of those 56 who signed the Declaration of Independence, nine died of wounds or hardships during the war. Five were captured and imprisoned, in each case with brutal treatment. Several lost wives, sons or entire families. One lost his 13 children. Two wives were brutally treated. All were at one time or another the victims of manhunts and driven from their homes. Twelve signers had their homes completely burned. Seventeen lost everything they owned. Yet not one defected or went back on his pledged word. Their honor, and the nation they sacrificed so much to create, is still intact.

And, finally, there is the New Jersey signer, Abraham Clark. He gave two sons to the officer corps in the Revolutionary Army. They were captured and sent to the infamous British prison hulk afloat in New York harbor known as the hell ship “Jersey,” where 11,000 American captives were to die. The younger Clarks were treated with a special brutality because of their father. One was put in solitary and given no food. With the end almost in sight, with the war almost won, no one could have blamed Abraham Clark for acceding to the British request when they offered him his sons’ lives if he would recant and come out for the King and parliament. The utter despair in this man’s heart, the anguish in his very soul, must reach out to each one of us down through 200 years with his answer: “No.”

The 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence proved by their every deed that they made no idle boast when they composed the most magnificent curtain line in history. “And for the support of this Declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.”

If those remarkable Patriots, our Founding Fathers, who risked it all to form the Greatest Nation the World Has Ever Seen, can rely on “Divine Providence” for guidance… can we do no less?

And now, gentle readers, in conclusion, may I present America’s Clown Prince of Comedy, Mr. Richard “Red” Skelton, to further explain the reason Americans pledge allegiance to OUR flag:

God Bless America!

Pledge Allegiance to Obama? Fuhgeddaboudit.

Just when you thought that the idolatrous nature of the Obama Campaign can’t get any worse… they come out with this little display of gross disrespect for the nation he’s supposed to be the leader of:

TheBlaze.com has the story:

If you go to barackobama.com right now, you can buy your very own limited edition American flag print. But this isn’t any ordinary American flag; this is an American flag that replaces the 50 stars representing the 50 states with President Obama’s campaign logo.

The Obama campaign is selling the limited edition “Our Stripes: Flag poster” for $35 on its official website. The screen print was designed by Ross Bruggink and Dan Olson, according to the site.

As Fox News’ Todd Starnes points out, there is also another print for sale called “Our Stripes: Country Print” that also looks like an American flag but in the shape of the United States. Again, in the top left corner sits the Obama campaign logo instead of the 50 stars.

“The United States of Obama?” Starnes asks in his headline.

Find out how people are reacting to the Obama campaign’s version of the American flag on Twitter at Twitchy.com.

Just for the record, an American flag should never bear “any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature,” according to U.S. flag code.

Additionally, U.S. Flag Code-Title 4, Ch. 1, Sec. 3 prohibits the “Use of flag for advertising purposes.”

Hold on a minute, that’s not the grossest part, per thegatewaypundit.com:

If the image looks familiar it could be because the red stripes resemble the bloody Benghazi hand prints. The bloodstained walls at the US consulate revealed that the US officials were dragged to their death by peaceful protesters terrorists.

It’s hard to know what’s more offensive… That they desecrated the flag, or that they’re pushing a product that reminds Americans of the slaughter in Benghazi?

And to top it off, a Hollywood starlet wants us all to pledge allegiance to the “messiah” behind that flag, per WashingtonExaminer.com:

The Obama campaign has launched its “For All” campaign, encouraging supporters to take pictures of themselves with their hands on their hearts and a note explaining why they support President Obama.

Actress Jessica Alba uses the Pledge of Allegiance as an example of the campaign in an email to supporters.

“Growing up, my classmates and I started every day with a ritual: We’d stand up, put our right hand over our hearts, and say the Pledge of Allegiance,” explains Alba. “To me, that gesture was a promise. A promise to be involved and engaged in this country’s future. A promise to work for liberty and justice — and for affordable education, health care, and equality — for all.”

Alba joins Hollywood actresses Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson by photographing herself with her hand on her heart pledging to vote for Obama.

“That’s why all across the country, people like you and I are proudly writing down our reasons for getting involved, and then taking the pledge — to vote.”

Obama campaign staffers have also begun posting photos of themselves with the pledge.

“Make sure you’re ready to vote this fall,” Alba writes. “Putting your hand over your heart is making a promise. Casting your ballot is keeping it.”

Dear Lord.

Let’s have a history lesson concerning this symbol of our country that the Obama Campaign is disrespecting, and, at the same time, try to give Obama’s worshipers, like Ms. Alba, some sort of clue as to what they are really supposed to be pledging their allegiance to:

The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth’s Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country.

In its original form it read:

“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

In 1923, the words, “the Flag of the United States of America” were added. At this time it read:

“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words “under God,” creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Bellamy’s daughter objected to this alteration. Today it reads:

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

And now, gentle readers, in conclusion, may I present America’s Clown Prince of Comedy, Mr. Richard “Red” Skelton, to further explain the reason Americans pledge allegiance to OUR flag:
