Trump Tells Hannity He Hopes AG Barr Looks Into Clinton-Ukraine Collusion…Wait…What? I’m Glad You Asked

Ukraine focus isn’t about 2020 election assistance, as some keep claiming, but the ***2016*** election assistance they already gave … to Hillary Clinton. “Its Not All About the Bidens: Why Trump Has Ukraine on the Brain” – Mollie Hemingway

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump told Fox News he hopes Attorney General William Barr looks into potential ties between Ukraine, Hillary Clinton and the controversial anti-Trump dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele.

Speaking to Sean Hannity in an exclusive interview Monday, Trump discussed potential ties between Clinton, the dossier and Ukraine, something he said he has been “hearing about.”

“You hear about Ukraine, and you’ve been hearing about it. I heard Clinton was involved,” the president told “Hannity.”

“I heard they got somebody who wrote the fake dossier was out of Ukraine. All of the things that happened.

“And, I assume that the attorney general — I would like the attorney general to find out what’s going on. Because, you know what? We are investigating corruption.”

Trump has continued to face criticism over allegations he temporarily delayed $391 million in aid in order to leverage Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into investigating potential Ukrainian involvement with Democrats during the 2016 election.

The investigation request was part of a phone call between the two world leaders, but both Trump and Zelensky have insisted there was no pressure involved.

The call was the basis for an anonymous whistleblower complaint that sparked House Democrats to launch an impeachment inquiry that has included several closed-door interviews with officials related to U.S.-Ukraine relations.

The complaint also alleged that Trump wanted Ukraine to help the president’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s business dealings with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.

House Democrats have been investigating whether the president engaged in a political quid pro quo when he asked the new Ukraine president to do a “favor” during the controversial conversation.

It is illegal to solicit or receive anything of value from a foreign entity in U.S. elections.

About the Clinton-Ukraine Collusion…

Politico.com reported on January 11, 2017 that

Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.

A Ukrainian-American operative who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee met with top officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia, according to people with direct knowledge of the situation.

The Ukrainian efforts had an impact in the race, helping to force Manafort’s resignation and advancing the narrative that Trump’s campaign was deeply connected to Ukraine’s foe to the east, Russia. But they were far less concerted or centrally directed than Russia’s alleged hacking and dissemination of Democratic emails.

Newsbusters.org reported on July 12, 2017 that

Politico found that a veteran DNC operative, Alexandra Chalupa, sought out information to damage the Trump campaign after media reports speculated Paul Manafort had ties to Russia. She sought out help to do this from the Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. and one of his top aides, “with the DNC’s encouragement,” Politico reported.

Chalupa spoke to Politico, which recalled:

“She [Chalupa] said that, when Trump’s unlikely presidential campaign began surging in late 2015, she began focusing more on the research, and expanded it to include Trump’s ties to Russia, as well. She occasionally shared her findings with officials from the DNC and Clinton’s campaign, Chalupa said.”

The report went into further detail, but the long and short of it explained how Ukrainian officials admitted to “working very closely” with Chalupa, who then shared this information with the DNC.

One official, Andrii Telizhenko told Politico:

“They were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa.”

Telizhenko recalled that Chalupa told him and Shulyar that, “If we can get enough information on Paul [Manafort] or Trump’s involvement with Russia, she can get a hearing in Congress by September.”

Boys and girls, now you know why Attorney General Barr and his investigators are taking so long to investigate the origins of the Russia Collusion Delusion.

The tentacles of the Obama Administration’s Deep State Operation literally reached around the world.

This also explains why the Democrats are attempting to impeach President Trump over a “perfect” phone call with the President of Ukraine.

Not only were the children of several high-ranking Dems like Sleepy Joe Biden heavily involved in lucrative schemes with the Ukraine, Hillary was using them to make up a fictional tale of Russian Collusion through which to stop Donald J. Trump.

By now you have heard that Ukraine’s Former President encouraged corruption throughout Ukraine and their current President was elected to clean it up.

Sound familiar?

It should.

If anything about the first three years of the Trump Presidency has shown us, it is the fact that the Obama Administration, including the DOJ and FBI was riddled with corrupt “Deep Staters” who would do ANYTHING in order to maintain the Washingtonian Status Quo.

So the fact that Hillary, Biden, et al, were all secretly lining their own coffers thanks to the corruption of the government of another country should not be a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention.

This whole silent coup attempt so meticulously planned and carried out by the Democrats, all the way up to the Soviet-Style secret meetings which Rep. Adam Schiff is now holding on Capitol Hill, has been an attempt by the Dems to hold on to not only their governmental power but all of the monetary perks which go with it, including their kids’ high-paying jobs in the Ukraine, which they are hopelessly unqualified for.

President Trump should not be the subject of these meetings in Washington.

If the Democrats wanted to investigate corrupt politicians…

They should have began with themselves.

“Clinton Collusion”: Manafort and Uranium One…Rudy Says “Keep Your Eye on Ukraine”

rudy-giuliani-donald-trump-a0327630-ce86-4edc-b902-d644d75b96d3 (2)

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump told Fox News’ “Hannity” in a wide-ranging interview Thursday night that Attorney General Bill Barr is handling the “incredible” and “big” new revelations that Ukrainian actors apparently leaked damaging information about then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort to help Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Last month, Ukraine Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko opened a probe into the so-called “black ledger” files that led to Manafort’s abrupt departure from the Trump campaign. The investigation commenced after an unearthed audio recording showed that a senior Ukrainian anticorruption official apparently admitted to leaking Manafort’s financial information in 2016 — including his ties to pro-Russian actors in Ukraine — to benefit Clinton.

Ukrainian law enforcement officials said earlier this month they have a slew of evidence of collusion and wrongdoing by Democrats, and that they have been trying to share this information with U.S. officials in the Justice Department. A Ukrainian court recently ruled that the Manafort leak amounted to illegal interference in the U.S. election.

Asked by host Sean Hannity whether Americans need to see the results of Ukraine’s ongoing investigation into whether officials in that country worked with the Clinton team, Trump replied, “I think we do.”

The leak of damaging financial information on former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort’s links to pro-Russia actors in Ukraine led to his departure from the Trump team. Now, it’s the subject of a Ukrainian probe into possible Clinton collusion. (AP)

“I would imagine [Barr] would want to see this. … I would certainly defer to the attorney general, and we’ll see what he says about it,” Trump said. “He calls ’em straight.”

Trump continued: “It sounds like big stuff, very interesting with Ukraine. I just spoke with the new president a while ago, and congratulated him. … But that sounds like big, big stuff, and I’m not surprised.”

With those remarks, Trump echoed his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, who wrote on Twitter on Wednesday: “Keep your eye on Ukraine.”

A 2017 investigation by Politico found that Ukrainian officials not only publicly sought to undermine Trump by questioning his fitness for office, but also worked behind the scenes to secure a Clinton victory.

Among other initiatives, Politico found, the Ukrainian government worked with a DNC consultant to conduct opposition research against Trump, including going after Manafort for Russian ties, helping lead to his resignation.

Why the interest in Ukraine? And, why were Ukrainian Officials acting as operatives for Hillary Clinton?

Simple: They owe her…BIG TIME.

Back in November of 2017, Peter Schweizer of Breitbart News and author of “Clinton Cash”, discussed the “favor” that then-Secretary of State Clinton did for the Ukrainian Government on Sean Hannity’s Fox News Channel Program along with Dr. Sebastian Gorka…

HANNITY: Joining us now, the man who got the started, author of the book, “Clinton Cash,” Peter Schweizer, Fox News contributor, former deputy assistant to the President, Sebastian Gorka. Peter, you got this started, you watch this unfold today, and I want to get your initial reaction. I also want to talk about — I want you to give us the money aspect to this as it relates to the Clintons, who paid who, when and where, and how active and involved were they in this deal?

SCHWEIZER: Well, look, Sean, I’ve always felt the evidence was very clear. And I don’t know that hesitation is at the Department of Justice. There were several facts that no one debates. Fact number one, you have the Kazakh uranium minister Moukhtar Dzhakishev in a 2010 video deposition describing in great detail how Bill and Hillary Clinton shook him down and shook down Kazakh officials to compel them to give uranium assets to Frank Giustra, who is the founder of Uranium One. Nobody disputes that. That is clear.

We now have this whistle-blower that has come forward who reportedly has audio recordings of Russian officials talking about using bribery to get favors from the Clintons, giving donations to the Clinton Foundation. That has yet to appear, but I think that will be pretty strong. The third part of this ingredient is we have the actual flow of money. Tens of millions of dollars to the Clintons as this deal is going down.

I would dare say, Sean, anybody in Washington, D.C., elected office, from President Trump to Vice President Pence, the members of Congress or the Senate, if that body of evidence existed, there would be an investigation today on corruption charges and bribery. I just think it’s that crystal clear.

HANNITY: Dr. Gorka, let’s go back to the simple part of uranium one in the sense. We import uranium, the foundational material for nuclear weapons, that means we don’t have enough. Why would anybody ever think it’s a good idea to give Vladimir Putin 20 percent? Especially as we have now learned through investigative reporting, Putin’s agents in America were involved in bribery, extortion, racketeering, money laundering and kickbacks. These are now facts. [Robert] Mueller knew it, and Eric Holder knew it. Why would we give away uranium, or rights to uranium when, in fact, we need uranium?

GORKA: Why? Because the key people involved in that sale were paid off to the tune of millions. I want to make a statement here, Sean. PETA needs to be recognized for the person who put this all together, but what you just did in two segments ago, those graphics, Sean, I pray to the good lord that one day they will be used in a court of law to bring justice back to America. The New York Times, CNN, The Washington Post will not show you the truth and you and your team put it out so everyone can see it. I said it before, and it made the left blow up, but I will say it again. The Rosenberg’s were executed for giving away the secrets on how to make a bomb. The Clinton crime cartel sold those things that you need to make a bomb, which is American uranium, and they gave it to a Russian government that is in league with rogue nations. None of that should ever have been sold to anybody.

HANNITY: Mueller knew as the FBI Director. It was an FBI informant. That means Holder had to know. They have not only has four-plus years’ experience as an undercover agent, informant, they also have tapes, and they also have documents, and they also have emails, and they slapped an NDA on this guy, like putting a muzzle on him. Wait until he now discloses this. I’m imaging this is devastating — Sebastian first.

GORKA: Look, you’ve done the amazing mapping of all the corruption, the pay for play, the emails server and everything else. You can do it again for simply network analysis. Look at who was in key decision-making positions for the last eight years. Look at the connections between the directors of the FBI, Comey, Mueller. Look at the AGs Holder, Lynch. This is really important — look at who Rob Rosenstein’s best buddies are for the last 10 years and the fact that this is still at the top of the Department of Justice today in the Trump administration. Just the network analysis tells you that there is something rotten in the heart of Denmark, and it is now time to clean it out.

HANNITY: It is so extensive because I keep talking about this dual justice system, Peter. It is the dossier, propaganda bought and paid for by Hillary and the DNC. It doesn’t make sense to give away our uranium, ever. I’ll give you the last word.

SCHWEIZER: Yeah, you are exactly right, Sean. And look, the Clinton defense thus far has been pitiful. Essentially they say, first of all, nine government agencies have reviewed this. That has nothing to do with bribery. The fact of the matter is bribery exist whether it’s a close vote or not. The second offense, Hillary Clinton is saying that she was not involved in the decision. I’m sorry, but she does not have a great track record of speaking the truth. The person that they sort of prop out, Assistant Secretary of State Fernandez to say she was not involved in this decision — four days before he first made that statement, Sean, he is in the Podesta email saying he wants to do whatever he can to help Hillary Clinton get elected. He is not a disinterested party. This has to be investigated.

Rudy Giuliani was absolutely right when he said “Keep your eye on Ukraine”.

I believe that as more is found out about Ukraine’s involvement with Hillary Clinton, Robert Mueller, and the rest of the “Deep State” Americans will figure out for themselves that the Trump Russian Collusion Fairy tale was actually a False Flag Operation designed by the Democratic Party Hierarchy, their Propaganda Arm, the Main Street Media, and their operatives on Capitol Hill and within the Trump Administration itself, to keep the nation’s attention diverted to the Trump/Russia Lie, when in reality the Uranium One Treasonous Operation by Hillary Clinton WAS AND REMAINS THE STORY.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller was appointed FBI Director by George W. Bush, whom he served under for 10 years.

As Hannity mentioned, when Barack Hussein Obama became President, Mueller served under him for 2 more years. During that time, he acted as a “mule” for Secretary of State Clinton, carrying a sample of the before-mentioned seized uranium BACK to Vladimir Putin via the Russian Embassy.

Mueller’s past, plus the fact that he intentionally recruited lawyers who were Democratic Donors to fill out his “Investigative Staff” led me and others at the time to throw up a red flag about this guy, believing that he was another Establishment Political Weasel like James Comey, who followed Mueller as Director of the FBI.

Trump’s “Russiagate” was an invention of the Democratic Party in more ways than one. Not only was Hillary Clinton guilty of nefarious dealings with the Ukrainians when she was Obama’s Secretary of State, she and her Campaign Staff attempted to work with the Russians and the Ukrainians in an attempt to sabotage the campaign of Donald J. Trump in order to overcome her own shortcomings and win the Presidency. When that didn’t happen, she, along with the Democrat Elite, made up the version of “Russiagate” which the MSM and Liberal Political Activists (but, I repeat myself) continue to bombard skeptical Americans with in order to somehow force President Trump from office, even though the Mueller Investigation found NO COLLUSION and not enough to file obstruction charges against President Donald J. Trump.

There are several players involved in the Obama Administration who knew about Uranium One and the Ukrainians’  takedown of Paul Manafort and they ALL need to be heard from, including Obama, Hillary, and Holder.

The whole massive misdirection play which I named the Trump-Russian Collusion Fairy Tale is to going to go down as one of the biggest “nothingburgers” in American History.

And, the Obama Administration will be known as the most corrupt Administration in American History, which Hillary Clinton being the most corrupt Secretary of State.

Make no mistake…the truth will always come out.

Gent your popcorn ready.

The Manafort Sentencing, the New Charges, the Mueller Probe, and the SDNY – The Ties That Bind

untitled (267)

https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1105936057743364104

FoxNews.com reports that

Ex-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort was indicted on a raft of state charges in New York Wednesday – moments after a federal judge handed down a sentence in a separate case that ensured the longtime GOP operative will serve nearly seven more years in prison.

The New York indictment on mortgage fraud, conspiracy, and other state charges alleges that the 69-year-old Manafort and others falsified business records to illegally obtain millions of dollars. The new charges were announced by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance just minutes after U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson, of the District of Columbia, sentenced Manafort as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, leaving him with 81 months to serve behind bars as part of that case.

Vance’s charges are at the state level, and allege that Manafort committed residential mortgage fraud, attempted residential mortgage fraud, conspiracy and falsification of business records. If convicted of all charges, Manafort could face up to 25 years in prison.

“No one is beyond the law in New York,” Vance said in a statement Wednesday. “Following an investigation commenced by our office in March 2017, a Manhattan grand jury has charged Mr. Manafort with state criminal violations which strike at the heart of New York’s sovereign interests, including the integrity of our residential mortgage market.”

According to the indictment, Manafort, from Dec. 22, 2015 through Jan. 17, 2017, “engaged in a scheme constituting a systematic ongoing course of conduct with intent to defraud more than one person and to obtain property from more than one person by false and fraudulent pretenses, representations and promises, and so obtained property with a value in excess of one thousand dollars from one and more such persons.”

Meanwhile, minutes earlier in Washington D.C., Jackson nearly doubled Manafort’s prison term. Jackson’s term was for 73 months in connection with Manafort’s guilty plea related to foreign lobbying and witness tampering. But Jackson ordered a portion to be served concurrently with a 47-month sentence given by Judge T.S. Ellis in federal court in Virginia last week. Manafort, though, was credited with nine months time served.

The sentencing concluded one of the highest-profile cases to emerge from Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates, though the charges against Manafort did not pertain to Russia collusion or any work he did with the Trump campaign in 2016.

In a related story from 12/8/17 found on TheHIll.com,

Conservative group FreedomWatch is arguing for the dismissal of the judge presiding over its lawsuit seeking the removal of Robert Mueller from the special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the presidential election, citing the judge’s political bias toward Democrats.

The group, helmed by conservative lawyer Larry Klayman, also alleges that Judge Amy Berman Jackson has a “manifest conflict of interest” in the case because she is also presiding over the trial of Paul Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman who has been charged in connection with Mueller’s investigation.

FreedomWatch in November sued to force the Justice Department to investigate leaks coming from the special counsel and alleged conflicts of interest among staff, arguing that Mueller should be removed from the case.

In a new motion filed in U.S. district court in Washington, the conservative group argues that Jackson should recuse herself or be disqualified from the case, citing her “inherent manifest political biases and conflicts of interest.”

In particular, Klayman argues that Jackson exhibited a “deep-seated favoritism toward Democrat political interests” and Hillary Clinton, Trump’s Democratic opponent in the presidential race, when she dismissed a case he litigated on behalf of the parents of two Americans killed in the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks.

In that case, the plaintiffs alleged that Clinton’s use of a private email server to transmit sensitive information during her time as secretary of State led to the deaths of their sons.

They also alleged that Clinton defamed the fallen Americans when she publicly disputed their accounts of the circumstances around the attack on the campaign trail. Jackson dismissed the lawsuit in May.

Klayman also argues that Jackson “rushed” to issue an order to show cause in the FreedomWatch case against the Justice Department, which he says “evidences her mindset of having pre-judged this matter from the inception.”

Huh.

In perhaps another related story posted Tuesday by the CBS Local Affiliate in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

United States Representative John Ratcliffe (R-TX) tweeted late Tuesday that, according to former Federal Bureau of Investigation lawyer Lisa Page, President Barack Obama’s Department of Justice was influencing the FBI’s investigation into the Hillary Clinton classified email investigation.

“Lisa Page confirmed to me under oath that the FBI was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in the handling of classified information,” Ratcliffe tweeted.

What makes things interesting is that Judge Jackson is a Liberal Democrat, who was nominated for her position by Hillary Clinton’s Boss as Secretary of State, President Barack Hussein Obama.

As far as the New York charges filed against Manafort are concerned, isn’t it interesting how so much of the fallout and judicial action being taken in the “Russian Collusion Investigation by Mueller and his Democratic Lynch Mob is centered around the State of New York, specifically the Southern District of New York in addition to the courtroom of Judge Amy Berman Jackson?

The SDNY has been the stomping grounds of several of those involved in this ongoing Legal Lynch Mob out to get President Trump, including Former FBI Director Comey, FBI IG Horowitz, Mueller Investigator Andrew Weissman, and Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance, Jr.

All of them either worked in that office or had judicial standing in that district.

For a long time, I have been stating that the Mueller Investigation, otherwise known as the Russian Collusion Fairy Tale, was like a giant spider’s web, leading back to the Obama Administration, during which the Deep State Operation to stop Donald J. Trump from becoming President began.

I also observed early on that the Southern District of New York was playing a major role, as well.

As the late, great Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock used to observe,

Fascinating.

Mueller’s “Witch Hunt” Reeks of Desperation and Needs to End

BeeleN20171220_low

https://twitter.com/dbongino/status/1067870479636185089

FoxNews.com reports that

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s tough tactics with investigation targets and witnesses are fueling complaints about the probe from President Trump and his allies at a critical stage, as key cooperation efforts seem to break down.

Just this week, conservative author Jerome Corsi balked at a plea deal after complaining the Mueller team wanted him to admit to lying (which he claims he didn’t do) only after he “couldn’t give them what they wanted.” He tweeted Wednesday he now plans to pursue a complaint against Mueller’s team.

Further, Mueller’s team has accused ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort of violating his plea deal by lying to investigators, amid reports his cooperation agreement was not panning out how prosecutors had hoped.

More information also has come to light about the nature of those Mueller-Manafort interactions, as it emerged Manafort’s legal team has been briefing Trump’s team about their discussions. The briefings reportedly fueled tensions with Mueller’s investigators, though it was already known that the president’s and Manafort’s legal teams have a joint defense agreement, meaning they share information.

But through these briefings, Trump’s team learned about Mueller’s focused line of questioning.

Specifically, top prosecutor Andrew Weissmann has been pumping Manafort for information about the president, with a focus on the highly scrutinized meeting at Trump Tower in June 2016 with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, and whether Trump knew about it in advance.

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani said the president is very upset with how Manafort has been treated, saying they keep hammering him with the same questions apparently seeking different answers.

Manafort already was convicted on multiple counts of financial fraud over the summer in connection with work he completed in Ukraine as a political consultant. A subsequent deal in a related case was seen as an opening for Mueller’s prosecutors to get new information, but that possibility seems to be diminishing.

In a court filing on Monday, Mueller, Weissmann and several other investigators accused Manafort of violating his plea deal, which was agreed upon in September.

“After signing the plea agreement, Manafort committed federal crimes by lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Counsel’s Office on a variety of subject matters, which constitute breaches of the agreement,” Mueller, Weissmann, Jeannie Rhee and Greg Andres wrote in a court filing Monday.

The President and Rudy’s instincts are dead on.

Andrew Weissmann is a veteran government prosecutor known for his work on the Enron task force and for going after mob figures in New York. He is an expert at “flipping” lower level defendants.

Per Heavy.com,

1. Weissmann Served as the FBI’s General Counsel Under Robert Mueller – Before his tenure at the FBI, Weissmann was a partner at Jenner & Block in New York for five years.

2. Weissmann Led the Enron Task Force but Not Without Controversy – Time after time, courts have reversed Weissmann’s most touted ‘victories’ for his tactics. This is hardly the stuff of a hero in the law. Weissmann, as deputy and later director of the Enron Task Force, destroyed the venerable accounting firm of Arthur Andersen LLP and its 85,000 jobs worldwide — only to be reversed several years later by a unanimous Supreme Court.

3. Weissmann Donated Money to President Barack Obama – Weissmann is a Barack Obama and Democratic campaign donor, according to federal records. “Weissmann, who led the Enron investigation, previously gave $2,300 to Obama’s first presidential campaign in 2008 and $2,000 to the Democratic National Committee in 2006, the same year Democrats won control of Congress.

4. Weissmann Attended Princeton & Columbia Universities & Prosecuted Mafia Crime Families – According to the DOJ press release, Weissmann “began his career with the Department of Justice in 1991 at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York, where he served in various leadership positions, including as chief of the Criminal Division. According to Mother Jones, one of the people Weissmann prosecuted had ties to Trump. “As a prosecutor in the Eastern District, Weissmann signed a 1998 cooperation agreement between the US government and Felix Sater, a violent felon and securities trader who had pleaded guilty to financial crimes. Sater went on to become a confidential informant for the FBI and a Trump business partner,” the magazine noted.

5. Some Conservatives Have Noted That Weissmann Was in a Position of Power During the Clinton Uranium Controversy – Some conservatives contend that Mueller has a conflict of interest because they argue the FBI, under his stewardship, should have more thoroughly investigated Bill and Hillary Clinton over a uranium deal known as Uranium One. National Review notes that Andrew Weissmann ran Obama DOJ’s Fraud Section during this time frame.

President Trump has been right all along.

This is nothing more than a Witch Hunt coordinated by a bunch of Democrats to attempt to either evict Trump from the White House or, at least, slow down his wonderful rapid progress on behalf of our Sovereign Nation to a crawl.

Mueller and his entire staff are nothing more than a Democratic Party Lynch Mob, being allowed to run amok and cause chaos in the heart of a Republican Administration.

Rush Limbaugh agrees with me.

If there were any integrity — and I mean this from the bottom of my sizable and beating-in-rhythm heart — if there were any integrity in this investigative team, they would have shut this thing down a month after they learned what has never happened and they would have shifted their direction toward the Democrats and the Hillary campaign and all of the fraud that existed in taking a phony document to the FISA court to get warrants to spy on innocent people while the FBI planted spies in the Trump campaign.

People with integrity, the kind of integrity we’re told Mueller has in abundance, would have immediately seen what’s gone on and brought a stop to all this. But no. That’s not what happened. It’s very clear what this is. This is the Washington establishment, the elites, the deep state, whatever you want to call it, remaining focused and using every ounce of federal power they can amass to continue their efforts to overturn the results of the election of 2016 and to destroy anybody they can who had anything to do with Trump winning.

Special Counsel Mueller has accomplished nothing but some low level political indictments through massively excessive spending of American Taxpayers’ money.

To go after 70-year old Jerome Corsi because he can not remember any information which could be used against President Trump is not only political vindictiveness, it is ruthless and petty.

Mueller and his gang of Democratic Donors need to present their findings and close up shop.

At this point, their efforts appear to the American Public as ineffectual as the reboot of “Murphy Brown”.

And, just like that anti-Trump Hate Fest, Mueller’s Witch Hunt needs to be cancelled.

Until He Comes,

Obama’s “Ethics Czar” Says Trump Won’t Survive Manafort’s Testimony…Just Who is He?

775724-img-norman-eisen

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1041330897948160002

FoxNews.com reports that

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s plea deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team is a sign that he has some “very helpful information” for the ongoing Russia probe, onetime Independent Counsel Ken Starr said Sunday.

And Norman Eisen, who served as White House Special Counsel for Ethics and Government Reform in the Obama administration, flatly predicted that President Trump wouldn’t “survive” Manafort’s testimony.

Manafort pleaded guilty in his Washington, D.C., trial on Friday and agreed to fully cooperate with federal officials looking into the possibility of illegal cooperation between President Trump’s campaign and the Russian government, although none of Manafort’s charges directly related to any alleged collusion.

Joined by Eisen, Starr told ABC’s “This Week” that the news was a “very significant breakthrough.”

“I think this is really good for the country,” Starr, who led federal probes into former President Bill Clinton, told host Jon Karl, suggesting that the deal might help bring an end to the long-running Russia probe. “Let’s get to the truth of the matter.”

As part of the deal, Manafort has forfeited multiple bank accounts and several properties in New York. However, he will keep his properties in Florida and Virginia, where his family lives.

“Given the seriousness of the charges that were awaiting him, he did the right thing,” Starr said. “He did the smart thing.”

In August, in a separate trial in Virginia, a federal jury found Manafort guilty on eight counts of federal tax and banking crimes. He is still awaiting sentencing in that case.

President Trump had praised Manafort for not accepting a plea agreement prior to that case, writing on Twitter in August that his former aide was a “brave man” who had “refused to ‘break.'”

Eisen, the Obama ethics lawyer, said there is a possibility Manafort will lead prosecutors to Trump — which many observers, including the presiding judge in Manafort’s Virginia trial, have said was the goal of prosecuting Manafort for tax and bank fraud in the first place.

“In our profession, those who defend and prosecute criminal matters, you only get a deal like this if you go up the chain,” Eisen said. “Who is up the chain from Paul Manafort, who was the chair of the Trump campaign? Don Jr., [political consultant] Roger Stone, the campaign itself, and perhaps ultimately the president. … I think there’s a substantial possibility that this evidence that Manafort is offering will implicate somebody up the chain.”

…“He’s not going to survive Manafort’s testimony,” Eisen said, referring to Trump.

Uh huh.

Isn’t being “Obama’s Ethics Czar” like being the old Maytag Repairman from the commercials?

No one visited him, either.

So, who is this guy?

Norman Eisen is the Chairman of the Board for CREW. And, who are they?

I’m glad you asked. According to their website…

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) uses aggressive legal action, in-depth research, and bold communications to reduce the influence of money in politics and help foster a government that is ethical and accountable. We highlight abuses, change behavior, and lay the groundwork for new policies and approaches that encourage public officials to work for the benefit of the people, not powerful interests, in accordance with the principles of ethical government the founders set out in the Constitution.

At CREW, we believe that government, subject to appropriate checks and balances, can and often does have a positive impact on the lives of Americans. It has become abundantly clear, though, that the corrupting influences of money from powerful interests and of unchecked conflicts of interest create major barriers to even the most well-intentioned politicians and officials working effectively for the common good. If we work together to reduce that negative influence, we can create a government that is responsive, open, and effective.

CREW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization composed of a small but nimble group of lawyers, researchers, and communicators. Together we not only highlight the negative impact of money in politics, but take direct action to ensure accountability for those who abuse the political system and to change that system for the better.

When we find abuses of the campaign finance, ethics, or tax rules, CREW files complaints asking appropriate government agencies to investigate and hold accountable those who violate the rules.

Groovy. Where do you guys get your funding from?

Again, I’m glad you asked. Well, actually I did the asking. Moving on…

According to the Center For Consumer Freedom, a consumer protection and information organization whom the CREW attacked several years back…

Among the foundations that have made significant contributions to CREW in recent years:

  • The Foundation to Promote Open Society (controlled by liberal billionaire financier George Soros and his family): $740,000 since 2010
  • The Open Society Institute (another foundation controlled by Soros): $150,000 in 2010
  • The Bohemian Foundation (controlled by Colorado Democratic donor Pat Stryker and her political operatives): $850,000 since 2010
  • Gill Foundation (private foundation of Colorado Democratic mega-donor Tim Gill): $608,615 since 2010
  • Dyson Foundation (family foundation of the late Charles Dyson, an FDR Administration official, leveraged-buyout titan, and longtime board member of liberal group Common Cause): $500,000 since 2011
  • Steven M. Silberstein Foundation (run by Steven Silberstein, a Democracy Alliance financier and member of the board of advisers for U.C. Berkeley’s public policy school who made his money in the software industry): $500,000 since 2010
  • Marisla Foundation (environmentalist foundation run by J. Paul Getty oil fortune heiress Anne Getty Earheart): $425,000
  • Leland Fikes Foundation (controlled by Lee Fikes, Texas oilman and major donor to Democrats and abortion-rights causes): $200,000
  • Daniel and Janet Mordecai Foundation (foundation controlled by major Colorado Democratic Party donor Janet Mordecai): $100,000

The foundation funders of CREW, many of which are members of or otherwise linked with the Democracy Alliance group of liberal megadonors, clearly demonstrate the partisan and ideological alignment of the organization. Among the groups in the Democracy Alliance’s funding orbit is one of CREW’s stablemates in the David Brock liberal group empire, Media Matters for America.

Gosh, a group of Democratic megadonors working in unison in the name of “justice” and “ethics”.

That sounds familiar. Now, where…

Oh, yeah. Special Counsel Paul Mueller and his “17 Angry Democrats”.

The ones who convicted Paul Manafort and who would convict anyone who ever knew President Donald J. Trump if they could get by with it.

The longer this mockery of an investigation goes on, the more the layers of this onion are being pulled back to expose a rotten core.

We knew that this whole mess was nothing but a Deep State Operation conceived during the Obama Administration with the blessings of Petulant President Pantywaist, himself, sitting at the end of a tripwire leading to a very intricate spider’s web consisting of Democratic Operatives both within and affiliated with our own Federal Government.

But, this…

Something told me that Obama’s Former “Ethics Czar” piping up about Manafort’s deal that he just cut with Mueller being the “end of Trump”  just didn’t seem “right”.

Gentle readers, the “Silent Coup” isn’t silent any more.

Things have become so desperate that its members are now bolding working to undo the results of the 2016 Presidential Election in the light of day.

Or, as the late, great Professional Wrestler Dusty Rhodes used to say,

In public, if you will.

I was going to say that this is getting ridiculous.

However, it is not ridiculous. This is just plain scary.

Trump Approval Rating Holds Steady, Despite “Legal Investigations” and Fake News Stories

deranged-600-la

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1033876658439245825

The Washington Post “reports” that

Whether the president faces legal peril is not clear, but his presidency is at a precarious point. Recent polls suggest his repeated attacks on Mueller for leading a “witch hunt” have lost their effectiveness. And if the Democrats win a majority in at least one house of Congress in the midterm elections, now less than 10 weeks away, they would gain the power to investigate or even impeach.

“The whole reason he is freaking out is he can’t get rid of any of this,” said a longtime adviser to Trump, who, like others interviewed for this story, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal White House dynamics.

The president’s sense of betrayal came through last week when he derided cooperating witnesses as “flippers.” “Everything’s wonderful and then they get 10 years in jail and they – they flip on whoever the next highest one is, or as high as you can go,” he told Fox News. In contrast, he tweeted that his “brave” former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, who was convicted last week of bank fraud and tax fraud, had “refused to ‘break.’ “

Trump has also focused his ire on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, whom he has repeatedly and publicly attacked for his decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation. White House aides have explained to him that firing Sessions would not end the probe, but he remains livid, officials said, particularly after Sessions responded last week with a statement declaring that “the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.”

The Trump Organization declined to comment for this story. The White House referred questions to Trump’s outside lawyers, who also declined to comment for this story.

And, with good reason.

This Fake News Story is nothing but wish-casting on the part of its writers.

Laura Ingraham’s Lifezette.com reports that

President Donald Trump’s approval rating remains almost unchanged following a week brimming with bad news for his former personal lawyer and former presidential campaign chairman, according to back-to-back NBC News/Wall Street Journal surveys released Sunday.

“We’ve had this enormous series of events, and these numbers don’t change very much,” said GOP pollster Bill McInturff, according to the WSJ.

McInturff and Democratic pollster Peter Hart worked on the two surveys in the days before and after former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen struck a plea deal and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was convicted on eight of 18 counts.

“For the 2018 Democratic strategy, the Manafort and Cohen convictions represent a fool’s gold opportunity rather than a silver bullet solution,” Hart said, pointing to the upcoming midterm elections in November, according to the WSJ.

The first poll found that 46 percent of American voters approved of Trump’s presidential performance while 51 percent disapproved. The follow-up poll found that 44 percent of American voters approved while 52 percent disapproved.

News of Manafort’s convictions and Cohen’s plea deal broke August 21. The first poll of 900 U.S. voters was conducted from August 18-22 and the second survey of 600 voters took place between August 22-25.

Although mainstream media members and the president’s regular critics immediately pounced on the Cohen-Manafort news as proof that Trump was heading closer to impeachment proceedings and permeated the news cycle with their speculation, Trump’s popularity remained virtually unchanged.

As the late Jim Nabors would say as Gomer Pyle,

“Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!”

As I wrote on Saturday, average Americans can recognize a political railroading job when they see one.

The Democratic Party continues to overplay their hand, grossly overestimating their own intelligence while underestimating the intelligence of us Americans who live between the coasts in the Heartland of America.

You would have thought that they would have learned not to do that after their plans for a “Democratic Socialist Paradise” were obliterated on the night of November 8, 2016, when we “forgotten Americans” MADE them remember who we were.

But, no.

Modern American Liberals, especially the Far Left Democratic Party, view themselves as “The Smartest People in the Room”

You can’t tell them a thing. They already know it all.

They thought beyond a shadow of a doubt that if they came up with a cockamamie story about Trump colluding with the Russians to sabotage the 2016 Presidential Election in order to defeat their “chosen one”, Hillary Clinton, that the American People would buy it hook, line, and sinker. All they thought they had to do was get a Special Counsel appointed who had political ties to both Clinton and Obama and who would, in turn, appoint Democratic Donors as his “investigators”.

Then that Special Counsel would be given free rein to broaden the scope of his “investigation”, charging everyone who ever even knew Trump with questionable crimes in order to flip them so that they could get to their real target, President Donald J. Trump.

And so far, their plan has been sort of successful…except for one little problem: The Americans who elected Donald J. Trump are still supporting the President, making the Democrats look like fools and their “not-so-silent” coup attempt appear feckless and nothing but Political Shenanigans or as Trump himself describes it, “A WITCH HUNT”.

So, what’s next?

Next, the Special Counsel and his “17 Angry Democrats” will enlist their brethren in the Southern District of New York to go after Trump’s Organization and his family.

Because, as the Democratic Party proved at least of couple of times during the Obama Administration, if they can’t beat our candidates or our traditional Americans Faith and Vlaues,  they will use Liberals working in our Legal System to tear them down.

A strong, prosperous America and the safety and prosperity of average Americans do not matter to the self-righteous Power Brokers of the Far Left Democratic Party.

Regaining their power in Washington, D.C. does.

Manafort/Cohen/Mueller…It’s All Still Just About Hillary Losing

cohen-trump

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1032431371728445441

The one thing that hasn’t changed here, the one thing that all of this is about is forcing Donald Trump out of office because the Democrats lost an election. There are no crimes that have occurred here that involve the president of the United States starting with Russian collusion, moving on to obstruction of justice, and even this stuff now with the porn star, Stormy Daniels, Kara McDougal, and the stuff with Paul Manafort, none of it, none of it is going to result in criminal charges against Donald Trump. None of is gonna result in high crimes and misdemeanors. What it’s all gonna lead to is the forthcoming blistering report from the special counsel, Robert Mueller, who remains blind to the actual crimes that have taken place in this entire sordid story. There is clearly now a double standard, a dual system of justice at the highest levels of our Department of Justice. You can see it in the way the DOJ and the FBI exonerated the Democrat presidential candidate when real crimes were taking place for years and years right under their noses, crimes they perhaps even participated in.

Those crimes, because they involved the Democrat nominee, were exonerated. The Democrat nominee herself was exonerated. You go to the Trump campaign, the Republican, the opponent, where there aren’t any crimes, there wasn’t any collusion with Russia, there hasn’t been any obstruction of justice, and yet this is where the allegation of crimes is occurring? And it’s occurring with people who are peripheral to the original charge of all this — Russian collusion, stealing the election?

What is actually happening now is the losers of the election attempting to steal it back. And that’s what all of this yesterday means, it’s why it all happened, and it is what it continues to add up to. The people who lost the election simply can’t accept it and are doing everything they can to overturn that election result. – Rush Limbaugh, 8/22/18

Rush is exactly right.

Did you pay any attention to the Democratic Talking Points being spewed out on all of the cable News Channels yesterday?

The Democrats and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media, were doing everything they possibly could to drive President Trump out of office, which, if you step back and look at it, as Rush says, is the same thing that they have been doing since before Trump was even inaugurated.

The Liberal Pundits are desperately attempting to compare what is going on to Watergate and are attempting to somehow, someway make whatever they are accusing Trump of doing into some sort of impeachable offense.

Where were these Paragons of Virtue when Hillary Clinton was sharing top secret e-mails on a private server while she was running a pay-for-play scheme out of the Clinton Foundation, selling access to foreign countries while she was Secretary of State under Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm)?

Why aren’t they investigating “Spygate” and the Clinton-funded FISA Dossier, including the involvement of Clintonistas Cody Shearer and Richard Blumenthal?

Regarding Watergate, the only tape recording going on was that of Michael Cohen’s and that was an abuse of Attorney-Client Privilege.

In this American’s opinion, everything that the Democrats, their Deep State Operatives, and Special Counsel Mueller and his “17 Angry Democrats” have accomplished by all of their efforts to bring down President Donald J. Trump is to cause me to support him that much more.

This all smells like the sort of dirty political “shenanigans” that Sam “Mooney” Giancana and the Chicago Branch of the Mafia used to use when they could not overtly “take out” a politician who would not “play along” with their wishes.

In case you did not know, “Mooney” and the “Boys” delivered Illinois for John F. Kennedy in the 1960 President Election, supposedly after Kennedy Supporter Frank Sinatra asked him to.

But, I digress.

As long as Mueller is allowed to operate outside of the scope of his original mission, he will continue to interfere in the Presidency of Donald J. Trump on behalf of “The Resistance”.

If the President does wait until after the Midterms to relieve Mueller and the “17 Angry Democrats” of their duties, they will not doubt be a part of a purging of the DOJ and FBI that, alluding back to the Mafia, will resemble the activities which went on during the Baptismal Ceremony in “The Godfather”…in a strictly political way, of course.

And that, in itself, would be very entertaining.

Manafort Found Guilty, Cohen Gets Plea Deal, and the Man That Americans Elected is STILL President

f_trump_westvirginia_rally_full_event_170803.nbcnews-ux-1080-600

https://twitter.com/dbongino/status/1032068377773318144

Per FoxNews.com,

A federal jury in Virginia convicted former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on eight counts of bank and tax fraud, making him the first campaign associate of President Trump found guilty by a jury as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

But after four days of deliberations, the jury told Judge T.S. Ellis III on Tuesday afternoon that it could not come to a decision on ten other counts related to financial crimes. A mistrial was declared on those counts.

FoxNews.com also reports that

Michael Cohen, President Trump’s longtime personal attorney, admitted Tuesday to violating federal campaign finance laws by arranging hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal “at the direction” of then-candidate Trump.

In entering the plea, Cohen did not specifically name the two women or even Trump, recounting instead that he worked with an “unnamed candidate.” But the amounts and the dates all lined up with the payments made to Daniels and McDougal.

In total, Cohen pleaded guilty to five counts of tax evasion, one count of making false statements to a financial institution, one count of willfully causing an unlawful corporate contribution, and one count of making an excessive campaign contribution.

Cohen could have received up to 65 years in prison if convicted of all charges. However, as part of his plea deal, Cohen agreed not to challenge any sentence between 46 and 63 months. The deal does not involve a cooperation agreement with federal prosecutors.

So what does this all mean, gentle readers?

  1. A Former Campaign Manager of President Trump was found guilty of charges which did NOT involve the President.
  2. Trump’s Attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty of violating campaign finance charges by paying off a couple of gold-diggers.
  3. No Russian Collusion has been found or formally charged to any member of the Trump Campaign nor the President, himself.
  4. Donald J. Trump is still President of the United States of America.

As I sit here writing this post, a visual history unfolds before my eyes concerning how we got to the legal events of the day.

I am remembering the night of November 8, 2016…the scene of astonishment, disbelief, and unstoppable grief among Hillary Supporters…from those who had gathered to hear her presumed Victory Speech who were sent on their way by John Podesta to the panel of anchors and “Political Pundits” on MSNBC who were so dejected that they resembled an  extended version of the painting of the solemn farmer and his wife by Grant Wood, titled “American Gothic”.

The unstoppable grief of Modern American Liberals over the victory of Donald J. Trump that night led them to carry on a National Temper Tantrum highlighted by Fake News Stories, unsubstantiated rumors, and Machiavellian plans and schemes being carried out in the halls of our Nation’s Capitol.

Which brings me to the next images running through my head…scenes from the classic movie starring Jimmy Stewart, “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”.

Naive and idealistic Jefferson Smith, leader of the Boy Rangers, is appointed on a lark by the spineless governor of his state. He is reunited with the state’s senior senator–presidential hopeful and childhood hero, Senator Joseph Paine. In Washington, however, Smith discovers many of the shortcomings of the political process as his earnest goal of a national boys’ camp leads to a conflict with the state political boss, Jim Taylor. Taylor first tries to corrupt Smith and then later attempts to destroy Smith through a scandal.

I have been chronicling since President Trump’s Campaign started as to how he threatened to upset the Washingtonian Status Quo and how the Democratic Elite and the Vichy Republicans as well, viewed him as an “outsider” unfit to hold the highest office in the land.

Follow me, gentle readers

As I have chronicled time and time again, Muller’s team includes 17 lawyers  investigating for “corruption”, who are Democrats who are heavy donors to the DNC.

Therefore, they are hardly “objective”.

As I have written before, the frenzy which those who are still grieving Hillary’s loss have built themselves into as a group resembles the mentality of an old West Lynch Mob.

And that mob stretches from UC Berkeley to Capitol Hill.

They want a hanging, and by gum, there WILL be a “hanging”, even is it has to be past and present employees of President Trump’s, in order to teach him a “lesson” as to who is REALLY in charge of this country.

Being the minority Political Ideology in America has never stopped Modern American Liberals from trying to enforce their will upon the American people.

On November 8th, the Electoral College, put in place by our Founding Fathers, stopped them.

The Russia-Trump Collusion Fairy Tale and all of the subsequent legal “rabbit holes” are all a part of their attempt to change the results of the 2016 President Election and to circumvent our Constitution.

It is more than apparent that Mueller is a part of “The Resistance”.

And, all of us average Americans, living between the coasts, who put Trump in office are watching the biggest example of the “railroading” of a public official in our nation’s history.

Mr. President, it is past time to “Drain the Swamp”.

It’s time to FLUSH IT!

As the Manafort Jury Deliberates, Let’s Look at the Background of Mueller’s Prosecutors

manafort-trial-closing-arguments

Reasonable Doubt – A standard of proof that must be surpassed to convict an accused in a criminal proceeding. Reasonable doubt is a standard of proof used in criminal trials. When a criminal defendant is prosecuted, the prosecutor must prove the defendant’s guilt Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. If the jury—or the judge in a bench trial—has a reasonable doubt as to the defendant’s guilt, the jury or judge should pronounce the defendant not guilty. Conversely, if the jurors or judge have no doubt as to the defendant’s guilt, or if their only doubts are unreasonable doubts, then the prosecutor has proven the defendant’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and the defendant should be pronounced guilty.

FoxNews.com reports that

The jury in the federal trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort ended the first day of deliberations Thursday without a verdict, but did ask the judge a series of questions before breaking — a development the defense took as good news.

One source close to the Manafort team told Fox News, “We’re in the game.”

Before court was adjourned in the afternoon, U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III announced that jurors would continue their work on Friday morning.

Ellis read aloud a note detailing four questions from the jury, which covered foreign financial accounts, shell companies, the definition of reasonable doubt and other evidence in the case.

Outside court on Thursday, Manafort’s defense attorney, Kevin Downing, called the questions from the jury — especially the one about reasonable doubt — a “good sign.”

“So, overall a very good day for Mr. Manafort,” Downing told reporters.

After a trial spanning nearly three weeks, Manafort, 69, is awaiting a verdict on tax evasion and bank fraud charges. He has been accused of hiding income earned from his Ukrainian political work from the IRS. He’s also accused of fraudulently obtaining millions in bank loans.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

A humorous moment occurred earlier Thursday after Ellis excused the jury from the courtroom.

“Mr. Trump, are you here?” the judge asked, eliciting an audible gasp from the many reporters in the room.

It turned out the judge was referring to a man named Jim Trump, a prosecutor who was present in court for the next case and has no relation to President Trump. The moment resulted in a smile and a laugh from Manafort.

Before deliberations started, Ellis acknowledged that the jury room is small. He offered to let the jurors use his conference room to deliberate instead. The jury, though, informed the judge that the members would prefer to deliberate in the break room, where they eat lunch. Ellis granted the request.

A unanimous verdict from the 12 jurors is required to convict Manafort on each of the 18 counts against him.

During closing arguments on Wednesday, attorneys for Manafort suggested that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team had improperly ensnared their client in his ongoing probe of alleged Russian influence in U.S. politics.

Manafort attorney Richard Westling told jurors that banks had not reported any problems with Manafort to regulators “until the special counsel came and asked questions,” and he accused prosecutors of “stacking” charges against Manafort. And Downing, the other defense attorney, said several times the prosecution should have been handled by an IRS audit, rather than through a high-profile federal prosecution by the special counsel’s office.

Prosecutors said both arguments violated a pretrial agreement not to discuss the larger political context of the case. Later in the day, during jury instructions that lasted well over an hour, Ellis told jurors to ignore the defense team’s suggestion that the Mueller prosecution was politically motivated.

Throughout their closing arguments during the day, defense attorneys claimed prosecutors had produced “not a single bit” of evidence in support of their charges.

On Wednesday, prosecutors used their closing arguments to paint the former Trump campaign chairman as a chronic liar, telling jurors Manafort is “not above the law.”

The prosecution’s star witness, Rick Gates – Manafort’s former business partner, who struck a plea deal to cooperate with the government — testified that he and Manafort committed bank and tax fraud together.

Manafort’s legal troubles won’t end with this trial. He is also facing charges in a separate federal court case in Washington, including allegations of conspiring against the United States, conspiring to launder money, failing to register as an agent of a foreign principal and providing false statements.

In an article from WRAL.com, they report that Mueller’s prosecutorial team is stay across the street at The Westin Hotel.

Guess whose dime they are staying on?

If you guessed the American Taxpayers’, you are absolutely correct.

Two of the members of the Special Counsel’s team of prosecutors mention in the article are Greg D. Andres and Andrew Weissmann, one of Mueller’s top deputies.

Greg D. Andres attended the University of Chicago Law School, where he graduated in 1995.

He was most recently employed as a white-collar criminal defense lawyer with New York law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Per opensecrets.org, here are the top five political campaigns whom the organizations’ PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals’ immediate families contributed to during the 2016 Presidential Election Campaign Season.

Clinton, Hillary (D) Pres $165,612
Rubio, Marco (R-FL) Senate $11,150
Schumer, Charles E (D-NY) Senate $10,600
Van Hollen, Chris (D-MD) House $10,142
Kasich, John (R) Pres $8,350

Andres, 50, also served in the Obama/Holder Department of Justice from 2010 to 2012. He was deputy assistant attorney general in the criminal division, where he oversaw the fraud unit and managed the program that targeted illegal foreign bribery.

He was the 16th “investigator” hired by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

The very fact that Paul Manafort remains in jail while the Radical Muslims who killed a 3-year old innocent child in New Mexico are out walking the streets is a travesty in itself.

This “Russia Probe” being conducted by a politically biased Special Counsel is nothing more than an extension of the Deep State Operation involving the DOJ and the FBI which began under the Obama Administration, producing a phony FISA Dossier which just like Muller’s lawyers rooms at The Westin Hotel, our tax dollars paid for.

The fact that the jury asked the sort of questions that they did of Judge Ellis is a good sign that they are having serious doubts about the “chain of evidence” presented by Mueller’s team of “Angry Democrats” and the efficacy of their case.

Now…America waits.

Regarding the Manafort Indictment, When Do the Tony Podesta, Lanny Davis, and Rep. John Conyers Get Indicted, Too? – A KJ Investigative Report

Chasing-Story-600-LI

Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his Investigative Staff, made up of Democratic Donors, handed down their first indictment yesterday. The target was Paul Manafort, Former Presidential Campaign Manager for the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

As you can imagine, it was the focus of much Media and Political scrutiny, featuring, dissection, castigation, and insinuation.

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump fired back on Monday in an attempt to distance his White House from the grand jury indictments of his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and an aide, noting their crimes were committed “years” before they worked on the campaign.

The president led a chorus of critics of the investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, noting that the crimes for which Manafort and his aide, Rick Gates, are charged appear to predate the presidential campaign by years.

“Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign. But why aren’t Crooked Hillary & the Dems the focus?????” Trump tweeted Monday. “….Also, there is NO COLLUSION!”

Manafort and Gates were indicted by a federal grand jury Friday on 12 counts, including conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading Foreign Agent Registration (FARA) statements, false statements and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign banks and financial accounts. The indictments were announced Monday.

Mueller’s team also unsealed a guilty plea by former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos, who admitted to making false statements to FBI agents as part of the investigation. According to court documents, Papadopoulos’ false statements were in regards to his relationship with a Russian ‘professor,’ who had ties to Russian government officials.

The special counsel probe and Russia “hoax,” as the president has described it, has cast a cloud over the Trump administration. But last week, the White House enjoyed a shift in focus, amid new revelations in the controversial Obama-era Uranium One deal and the payments behind the salacious anti-Trump dossier.

Reports last week revealed that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid more than $9 million to law firm Perkins Coie, which commissioned Fusion GPS to conduct opposition research that ultimately led to the now-infamous dossier.

Over the weekend, it was revealed that the conservative Washington Free Beacon website initially funded the opposition research into then-candidate Donald Trump and other GOP contenders for the White House. Lawyers for the Free Beacon told the House Intelligence Committee that the website funded the research between fall 2015 and spring 2016.

But some Republicans say that the Manafort-Gates indictments provide “no evidence” in the Russian collusion narrative.

Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., who has repeatedly called for Mueller’s resignation, over the special counsel’s relationship with former FBI Director James Comey, said the indictment “doesn’t have anything to do with Donald Trump.”

“I believe that Mr. Mueller’s conflict of interest is absolutely incontrovertible, and I think this is further indication he’s headed in this direction no matter what,” Franks said on his local radio station, KTAR-FM Morning News, Monday. “It’s ironic because ostensibly his investigation is supposed to be into Donald Trump’s potential involvement with Russia, yet this doesn’t have anything to do with Donald Trump.”

Franks added: “They may try to parlay it into something to hook President Trump in, but right now, this is par for the course. I should suggest this was kind of predictable.”

Rep. Pete King, R-N.Y., who is a member of the House Intelligence Committee, which is leading its own Russia probe, echoed a similar sentiment.

“This pre-dates the campaign entirely, and could pre-date Paul Manafort even meeting Donald Trump. This has nothing to do with the campaign,” King told Fox News on “America’s Newsroom” Monday. “The investigation still has to go forward but what I’ve seen so far, is there is no evidence at all linking the Trump campaign to Russian influence or collusion.”

The Senate Intelligence Committee is also leading a bipartisan Russia probe, and said that the indictment “doesn’t change” their investigation.

“The special counsel has found a reason on criminal violations to indict two individuals and I will leave that up to the special counsel to make that determination. It doesn’t change anything with our investigation,” Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C. said in a statement to Fox News. “We received documents from and had interest in two of the individuals named, but clearly the criminal charges put them in the Special Counsel’s purview.”

But Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., the ranking member of the Senate Intelligence Committee said that the indictments are “significant” and a “sobering step” in the special counsel’s investigation.

“That’s why it is imperative that Congress take action now to protect the independence of the Special Counsel, wherever, or however high his investigation may lead,” Warner said in a statement Monday. “Members of Congress, Republican and Democrat, must also make clear to the President that issuing pardons to any of his associates or to himself would be unacceptable and result in immediate, bipartisan action by Congress.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., also said that the president “must not, under any circumstances, interfere” with Mueller’s work.

“If he does so, Congress must respond swiftly, unequivocally, and in a bipartisan way to ensure that the investigation continues,” Schumer said in a statement Monday.

While Trump has not suggested any plans to interfere with the special counsel investigation, there are currently two pieces of legislation in the Senate, with bipartisan sponsorship, that would ensure a judicial check on the executive branch’s ability to remove a special counsel. Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., are behind the bills, along with Democratic senators.

“The president is not firing the special counsel,” Trump’s attorney, Jay Sekulow, said on CNN Monday.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders also said Monday the president has “no intention or plan to make any changes in regard to Special Counsel.”

Though some argue the indictments are irrelevant to the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, former top-ranking Justice Department official under both Bush and Obama administrations, James Trusty, told Fox News that this is what happens during a broad investigation.

Last week, Mueller expanded his probe to investigate Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta’s dealings with Manafort and a Ukrainian nonprofit. The Podesta Group told Fox News last week they were “cooperating” with the special counsel’s office.

Trusty said last week that Mueller has “a lot of room to legitimately poke around and find information on one party or another.”

“It’s a cliché, but a good cliché –prosecutors go where the evidence leads them,” Trusty told Fox News last week. “When you define the mission broadly, there is a lot of room for [an independent prosecutor’s] exploration.”

Trusty said that if a special counsel’s mission is defined broadly, “it is all fair game if the independent prosecutor is doing his job the right way.”

Okay. So, Mueller has the power to investigation anything he wants to.

That’s fine.

Because, as the Maha Rushie, himself, Rush Limbaugh, explained on his radio program yesterday, there is no “there” there.

No crime here. No crime has been specified. You could look at the document that charters the Mueller special counsel investigation team. You won’t find a crime. There are no limits on the number of people they can hire. There’s no limit on the amount of money he can spend. And there’s no limit on the amount of time. Ao he can do and go wherever he wants. And for Manafort, he went back from 2006 to 2015. And that’s what he’s gonna do with Trump because there isn’t any evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. There just isn’t anything. The only thing there is is the Trump dossier, and that’s fake and made up. I don’t care what you hear, none of it’s been corroborated. A lot of it has been officially blown to smithereens as not credible, and not just the golden showers aspect of it. So to the extent that that dossier has been used to form an official investigation, if that dossier is ever the reason for any indictments, then I can see — well, I don’t know. Depends on the judge. Depends on the court.

Everything’s been so corrupted because it’s been so politicized. I’ll just tell you this. In a just world — and I’m not trying to make a pun here. In a world where the justice system reigns supreme, any indictment resulting from whatever’s in the Trump dossier would have to be thrown out. It’s not real. It’s a political document. It was bought and paid for by a political campaign to do damage against the political presidential opponent! It’s not an intelligence document. It’s bought and paid for. So anything in it that leads to an indictment, to me, would be extremely risky.

So, I will have to defer to actual legal experts on that last claim, but it just seems common sense to me that if indictments occur because of things that are not true in that dossier are used as evidence, then what good is it? It’s gotta be thrown out. So here’s the next question I got. “Rush, I’m thinking that there’s a possibility that Manafort is not actually aiming at Trump here.” Meaning with the indictment of Manafort. That Mueller is not actually aiming at Trump but may in fact be trying to get Podesta. What Mueller and his investigators are looking into is Russian influence in general, not from the Trump campaign, but from Manafort for years before and the Podesta — Now, Manafort’s political entanglements involve him with the government of Ukraine, which is not Russia! And the things that Manafort’s firm, things they were engaged in, the Podesta firm was engaged in very similar behavior.

Now, I just need to do a little test here. How many of you actually would accept the premise that Mueller is using the Manafort indictment to tighten the screws on Podesta? Anybody think that’s got any, any shred of possibility? Because everybody assumes Mueller, Mister Big, Washington establishment, unassailable reputation, not covered, not tainted by the corruption of politics, strictly — same things that we’ve heard about Comey which now we have reason to question.

But there’s nothing here with Trump and collusion with Russia. There simply isn’t anything there. Now, Manafort did do some stuff. Maybe money laundering, maybe colluding or something with Ukraine, but so did Podesta. Is it feasible that this guy with 16 Obama and Hillary lawyers on his team would be going after a Democrat? Remember, Mueller is, supposedly, a Republican, former FBI director. Remember, untainted, one of the maybe two people in town untainted reputationally by the swamp.

According to the Podesta Group’s website profile page, they are

That’s why Bloomberg Businessweek calls us a “Beltway blackbelt” and why organizations large and small, from Fortune 500s and national foundations to local nonprofits, startups and foreign corporations have entrusted us with their public affairs agendas since 1987.

Back of February 18th of this year, Forbes.com posted an article titled “No One Mentions That The Russian Trail Leads To Democratic Lobbyists” by Paul Roderick Gregory, which makes the keen observation that

Thanks to the Panama Papers, we know that the Podesta Group (founded by John Podesta’s brother, Tony) lobbied for Russia’s largest bank, Sberbank. “Sberbank is the Kremlin, they don’t do anything major without Putin’s go-ahead, and they don’t tell him ‘no’ either,” explained a retired senior U.S. intelligence official. According to a Reuters report, Tony Podesta was “among the high-profile lobbyists registered to represent organizations backing Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich.” Among these was the European Center, which paid Podesta $900,000 for his lobbying.

That’s not all: The busy Podesta Group also represented Uranium One, a uranium company acquired by the Russian government which received approval from Hillary Clinton’s State Department to mine for uranium in the U.S. and gave Russia twenty percent control of US uranium. The New York Times reported Uranium One’s chairman, Frank Giustra, made significant donations to the Clinton Foundation, and Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 for one speech from a Russian investment bank that has “links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.”  Notably, Frank Giustra, the Clinton Foundation’s largest and most controversial donor, does not appear anywhere in Clinton’s “non-private” emails. It is possible that the emails of such key donors were automatically scrubbed to protect the Clinton Foundation.

Let’s not leave out fugitive Ukrainian oligarch, Dymtro Fortrash. He is represented by Democratic heavyweight lawyer, Lanny Davis, who accused Trump of “inviting Putin to commit espionage”

That’s still not all: Rep. John Conyers (D., Mich.) read Kremlin propaganda into the Congressional Record, referring to Ukrainian militia as “repulsive Neo Nazis” in denying Ukrainian forces ManPad weapons. Conyers floor speech was surely a notable success of some Kremlin lobbyist.

Lobbying for Russia is a bi-partisan activity. Gazprombank GPB, a subsidiary of Russia’s third largest bank, Gazprombank, is represented by former Sen. John Breaux, (D., La.), and former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R., Miss.), as main lobbyists on “banking laws and regulations, including applicable sanctions.” The Breaux-Lott client is currently in the Treasury Department list of Russian firms prohibited from debt financing with U.S. banks.

In his February 16 press conference, President Trump declared in response to the intensifying media drumbeat on his Russian connections: “I haven’t done anything for Russia.” K-Street lobbyists, on the other hand, have done a lot to help Russia. They greased the skids for a strategic deal (that required the Secretary of State’s approval) that multiplied the Kremlin’s command of world uranium supplies. They likely prevented the shipment of strategic weapons needed by Ukraine to repulse well-armed pro-Russian forces. A fugitive billionaire who robbed the Ukrainian people of billions is represented by one of the establishment’s most connected lawyers.

Gazprombank GPB hired Breux and Lott to gain repeal of sanctions. That’s perfectly fine in Washington; they are playing according established “swamp rules” in their tailored suits and fine D.C. restaurants. General Flynn lost his job when the subject of sanctions was mentioned by the Russian ambassador in their telephone conversation, but that’s the way the media and Washington play.

 As I always say,

The problem with pointing a finger at somebody is that you have three fingers pointing back at you.

All of the Liberal Political Pundits who were all over Cable and Broadcast News and all of the self-proclaimed trollish little Liberal know-it-alls who were all over Social Media Yesterday, crowing about Manafort’s Indictment, are soon going to have a rude awakening.

Democrat Politicians and their operatives have been wheeling and dealing with Putin and his henchmen for years. And, once the hearings concerning Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama’s Uranium One Scandal get started, even their seemingly well-planned distraction, known as the Trump-Russian Collusion Fairy Tale, won’t be about to stop the Sword of Damocles from ripping their political and professional futures to shreds.

The Dems are about to figure out that the old adage is true,

If you lay down with dogs, (even Siberian Huskies”) you get up with fleas.

Until He Comes,
