Judicial Activism is on the verge of changing our nation from one which cherishes the Faith and Heritage, which those before us sacrificed their very lives for, to a shallow, live-for-the-moment collection of individuals, worshiping at the altar of Popular Culture and Political Correctness.

Fox News reports that

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and his conservative colleagues may have been overruled in Thursday’s decision upholding ObamaCare subsidies, but they didn’t go down without a fight.

The firebrand conservative justice delivered one of the most scathing and linguistically creative dissents in recent memory. In a 21-page rebuttal, Scalia and two other justices tore into the Affordable Care Act and the court’s handling of it over the years — effectively accusing their colleagues of twisting the law for the sake of preserving President Obama’s signature policy.

“Today’s interpretation is not merely unnatural; it is unheard of,” Scalia wrote, joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.

The case itself centered on language in the original law that technically limited subsidies to people buying insurance in exchanges set up by the states. Opponents said this made subsidies through the federal exchange invalid.

“You would think the answer would be obvious — so obvious there would hardly be a need for the Supreme Court to hear a case about it,” Scalia wrote.

The majority, though, upheld subsidies everywhere, arguing that is what Congress intended.

Scalia in his dissent scolded his colleagues’ handling of Affordable Care Act challenges, writing, “We should just start calling this law SCOTUScare,” referring to the several times the high court has ruled on controversial parts of ObamaCare.

At one point, he panned the majority’s reasoning as “pure applesauce.”

Scalia essentially made two major points: he accused the court of playing favorites by letting politics get in the way, and claimed the majority’s opinion contained “somersaults of statutory interpretation.”

The conservative justice attacked the logic behind the ruling as “interpretive jiggery-pokery” and said the result shows “words no longer have meaning.”

He wrote: “The Court forgets that ours is a government of laws and not of men. That means we are governed by the terms of our laws, not by the unenacted will of our lawmakers.”

Drilling down to the language of the case itself, he wrote: “The court holds that when the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act says ‘Exchange established by the State’ it means ‘Exchange established by the State or the Federal Government,’ That is of course quite absurd, and the court’s 21 pages of explanation make it no less so.”

He noted the other justices have stepped in twice now to block what he considered worthy challenges to the law, including the 2012 case challenging the individual mandate. Scalia suggested the court is now in a position of protecting the law, writing: “Under all the usual rules of interpretation, in short, the Government should lose this case. But normal rules of interpretation seem always to yield to the overriding principle of the present Court: The Affordable Care Act must be saved.”

The Thursday decision was 6-3.

Chief Justice John Roberts delivered the majority opinion. He said that while the law’s wording was problematic, Congress’ intent was clear.

“Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them. If at all possible, we must interpret the Act in a way that is consistent with the former, and avoids the latter,” he wrote. “Those credits are necessary for the Federal Exchanges to function like their State Exchange counterparts, and to avoid the type of calamitous result that Congress plainly meant to avoid.”

Justices Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Stephen Breyer ruled in favor of the subsidies.

TheHill.com reports that

A House Republican on Thursday proposed forcing the Supreme Court justices and their staff to enroll in ObamaCare.

Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) said that his SCOTUScare Act would make all nine justices and their employees join the national healthcare law’s exchanges.

“As the Supreme Court continues to ignore the letter of the law, it’s important that these six individuals understand the full impact of their decisions on the American people,” he said.

“That’s why I introduced the SCOTUScare Act to require the Supreme Court and all of its employees to sign up for ObamaCare,” Babin said.

Babin’s potential legislation would only let the federal government provide healthcare to the Supreme Court and its staff via ObamaCare exchanges.

“By eliminating their exemption from ObamaCare, they will see firsthand what the Americanpeople are forced to live with,” he added.

It has been a rough week for America. We have seen the Southern Half of our contiguous 48 states mercilessly attacked by those who would rather that we ignore our history, than grow because of it, to rewrite history, rather than to learn from it, and, to blame an inanimate object, a flag, for the actions of a racist sociopath.

And now, we have witness the Judicial Branch of our Government, assume the duties of the Legislative Branch, in blatant protection of the Executive Branch.

In the midst of my anger, I thought about this moment in history…so very long ago…

To avoid interference from Lieutenant-Governor Dunmore and his Royal Marines, the Second Virginia Convention met March 20, 1775 inland at Richmond–in what is now called St. John’s Church–instead of the Capitol in Williamsburg. Delegate Patrick Henry presented resolutions to raise a militia, and to put Virginia in a posture of defense. Henry’s opponents urged caution and patience until the crown replied to Congress’ latest petition for reconciliation.

On the 23rd, Henry presented a proposal to organize a volunteer company of cavalry or infantry in every Virginia county. By custom, Henry addressed himself to the Convention’s president, Peyton Randolph of Williamsburg. Henry’s words were not transcribed, but no one who heard them forgot their eloquence, or Henry’s closing words: “Give me liberty, or give me death!”

…And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves. Sir, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable–and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

OUR Revolution will be a peaceful one. Our weapons will be our ballots. The outcome will be the same: Freedom from those who would rule our lives.

On November 8, 2016, Americans will once again fire the shot heard ’round the world.

Michelle Obama Tells Graduates to “Rise Above the Noise”. Irony Abounds.

The least-admired First Lady in my lifetime gave a Graduation Speech this weekend.

It was…interesting.

The Weekly Standard reported yesterday, that

First Lady Michelle Obama spoke today to graduates of Oberlin College. She encouraged the graduating class to “rise above the noise and shape the revolutions of your time.”

“[T]hink about how even with all the gridlock and polarization in Washington, we have made so much change these past six years: 12 million new jobs. Sixteen million people who finally have health insurance. Historic agreements to fight climate change. Epic increases in college financial aid. More progress on LGBT rights than any time in our history. And today, it is no longer remarkable to see two beautiful black girls walking their dogs on the South Lawn of the White House lawn. That’s just the way things are now,” Obama said to applause at the liberal arts college.

“See, graduates, this is what happens when you turn your attention outward and decide to brave the noise and engage yourself in the struggles of our time. And that’s why, in his remarks 50 years ago, Dr. King urged the class of ‘65 to “stand up” and “be a concerned generation.” And, graduates, that call to action applies just as much to all of you today.

” And I want to be very clear: Every city ordinance, every ballot measure, every law on the books in this country –- that is your concern. What happens at every school board meeting, every legislative session –- that is your concern. Every elected official who represents you, from dog catcher all the way to President of the United States –- they are your concern.

“So get out there and volunteer on campaigns, and then hold the folks you elect accountable. Follow what’s happening in your city hall, your statehouse, Washington, D.C. Better yet, run for office yourself. Get in there. Shake things up. Don’t be afraid. (Applause.) And get out and vote in every election -– not just the big national ones that get all the attention, but every single election. Make sure the folks who represent you share your values and aspirations.

“See, that is how you will rise above the noise and shape the revolutions of your time. That is how you will have a meaningful journey on those clamorous highways of life. And, graduates, that is how you will carry on the proud legacy of this great institution for generations to come.”

Please note that “Mooch” did not mention the fact that 40% of America’s Workforce has given up trying to find a job. Or, the fact that the LGBT Community is only, according to the experts, from 1.6-3% of America’s total population. Or, the fact that Obamacare will soon collapse in upon itself, because as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher so rightly said,

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.

And, who is paying for all of that collegiate “financial aid”? I’ll give you a clue, gentle readers, it’s you and me, kids. Those of us who are fortunate enough to still have a job.

Michelle Robinson Obama is the most useless, racially divisive, and downright hateful excuse for a First Lady that this country has ever seen.

Bess Truman was Mother Teresa compared with the woman whom I affectionately refer to as “Mooch”…

On January 23rd, 2008, during a speech given in Columbia, South Carolina, Michelle Obama said:

We don’t like being pushed outside of our comfort zones. You know it right here on this campus. You know people sitting at different tables, y’all living in different dorms. I was there. Y’all not talking to each another, taking advantage of the fact that you’re in this diverse community because sometimes it’s easier to hold onto your own stereotypes and misconceptions, it makes you feel justified in your ignorance. That’s America. So the challenge for us is, are we ready for change?

Then, in February of 2008, while campaigning for her husband in Wisconsin, Mrs. Obama said:

Let me tell you something. For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.

And let me tell you something. I need to believe that we live in that kind of nation, where hope and possibility and unity is still what drives us.

She made the “proud” comment twice in 2 different speeches. David Axlerod, Obama’s Chief Strategist, tried to explain it away at the time, saying:

She gives this talk all the time, and I don’t think she formulates the words quite that way generally. But if you look at the whole quote and read beyond it, she was plainly talking about this burst of participation, this sense of hope, the sense of possibility and so on. And she was talking about the politics of our country.

In an article titled “The Other Obama”, published on March 10, 2008, in The New Yorker Magazine, writer Lauren Collins gives us the following insights into the Future First Lady’s true feelings about America:

The four times I heard her give the speech—in a ballroom at the University of South Carolina, from the pulpit of Pee Dee Union, at an art gallery in Charleston, and in the auditorium of St. Norbert College, in De Pere, Wisconsin—its content was admirably consistent, with few of the politician’s customary tweaks and nods to the demographic predilections, or prejudices, of a particular audience.

Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents. “We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day,” she said, as heads bobbed in the pews. “Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four!”

From these bleak generalities, Obama moves into specific complaints. Used to be, she will say, that you could count on a decent education in the neighborhood. But now there are all these charter schools and magnet schools that you have to “finagle” to get into. (Obama herself attended a magnet school, but never mind.) Health care is out of reach (“Let me tell you, don’t get sick in America”), pensions are disappearing, college is too expensive, and even if you can figure out a way to go to college you won’t be able to recoup the cost of the degree in many of the professions for which you needed it in the first place. “You’re looking at a young couple that’s just a few years out of debt,” Obama said. “See, because, we went to those good schools, and we didn’t have trust funds. I’m still waiting for Barack’s trust fund. Especially after I heard that Dick Cheney was s’posed to be a relative or something. Give us something here!”

Her expensive tastes, during his time as “First Lady”, which include Wagyu Beef and Lobster, her penchant for taking the most expensive vacations ever imagined by man (with larger entourages than an NBA Player), along with her attempts at telling Americans what we HAVE to feed our children and grandchildren, and how we should be raising them, have not exactly endeared herself to the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Especially when she started telling us how to feed our children and grandchildren…

Past First Ladies always took a cause to tackle during their husbands’ terms.

Usually, it was a non-intrusive cause such as literacy or combating hunger in America.

Not, in the case of our globe-trotting (on our dime) present First Lady, “Moochelle” Obama. Under the guise of battling Childhood Obesity, she decided to sic the food police on America’s school menus, turning our children into the Liberal Administrations’ own personal lab rats and overruling the parental authority of the average American Family.

Mrs. Obama has had to adjust her diet plan over the last few years, because children were not receiving enough nourishment from her Diet Plan and literally falling out by the middle of the afternoon.

In response to this danger to the health of their students, several school systems across the nation have told the First Lady what she can do with her non-nutritious Diet Plan, the latest being the Liberal Bastion of New York State!

Do Americans a favor, Mrs. Obama. Stand in front of a full-length mirror, with your back to it, and look over your shoulder. Perhaps then, you’ll realize just how hypocritical you’re being.

Americans Angry as Obamacare Tax Hits Their Pocketbooks

The Obama Administration is caught in a trap of their own making.

And, it’s name is Obamacare.

From the start, Obama and his minions in his Administration, the Congress, and the sycophantic Main Stream Media, have all lied about Obamacare. ..starting with the preliminary information posted, “back in the day”, on change.gov…

The Obama-Biden plan provides affordable, accessible health care for all Americans, builds on the existing health care system, and uses existing providers, doctors, and plans. Under the Obama-Biden plan, patients will be able to make health care decisions with their doctors, instead of being blocked by insurance company bureaucrats.

Under the plan, if you like your current health insurance, nothing changes, except your costs will go down by as much as $2,500 per year. If you don’t have health insurance, you will have a choice of new, affordable health insurance options.

Make Health Insurance Work for People and Businesses — Not Just Insurance and Drug Companies.

Require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions so all Americans regardless of their health status or history can get comprehensive benefits at fair and stable premiums.

Create a new Small Business Health Tax Credit to help small businesses provide affordable health insurance to their employees.

Lower costs for businesses by covering a portion of the catastrophic health costs they pay in return for lower premiums for employees.

Prevent insurers from overcharging doctors for their malpractice insurance and invest in proven strategies to reduce preventable medical errors.

Make employer contributions more fair by requiring large employers that do not offer coverage or make a meaningful contribution to the cost of quality health coverage for their employees to contribute a percentage of payroll toward the costs of their employees’ health care.

Establish a National Health Insurance Exchange with a range of private insurance options as well as a new public plan based on benefits available to members of Congress that will allow individuals and small businesses to buy affordable health coverage.

Ensure everyone who needs it will receive a tax credit for their premiums.

Reduce Costs and Save a Typical American Family up to $2,500 as reforms phase in:

Lower drug costs by allowing the importation of safe medicines from other developed countries, increasing the use of generic drugs in public programs, and taking on drug companies that block cheaper generic medicines from the market.

Require hospitals to collect and report health care cost and quality data.

Reduce the costs of catastrophic illnesses for employers and their employees.

Reform the insurance market to increase competition by taking on anticompetitive activity that drives up prices without improving quality of care.

The Obama-Biden plan will promote public health. It will require coverage of preventive services, including cancer screenings, and increase state and local preparedness for terrorist attacks and natural disasters.

A Commitment to Fiscal Responsibility: Barack Obama will pay for his $50 – $65 billion health care reform effort by rolling back the Bush tax cuts for Americans earning more than $250,000 per year and retaining the estate tax at its 2009 level.

Sounds wonderful, Huh?

Time for a REALITY CHECK!

The New York Times has the story.

Obama administration officials and other supporters of the Affordable Care Act say they worry that the tax-filing season will generate new anger as uninsured consumers learn that they must pay tax penalties and as many people struggle with complex forms needed to justify tax credits they received in 2014 to pay for health insurance.

The White House has already granted some exemptions and is considering more to avoid a political firestorm.

Mark J. Mazur, the assistant Treasury secretary for tax policy, said up to six million taxpayers would have to “pay a fee this year because they made a choice not to obtain health care coverage that they could have afforded.”

But Christine Speidel, a tax lawyer atVermont Legal Aid, said: “A lot of people do not feel that health insurance plans in the marketplace were affordable to them, even with subsidies. Some went without coverage and will therefore be subject to penalties.”

The penalties, approaching 1 percent of income for some households, are supposed to be paid with income taxes due April 15. In addition, officials said, many people with subsidized coverage purchased through the new public insurance exchanges will need to repay some of the subsidies because they received more than they were entitled to.

More than 6.5 million people had insurance through the exchanges at some point last year, and 85 percent of them qualified for financial assistance, in the form of tax credits, to lower their premiums. Most people chose to have the subsidies paid in advance, based on projected income for 2014. If their actual income was higher — because they got a raise or found a new job — they will be entitled to a smaller subsidy and must repay the difference, subject to certain limits.

I am one of those Americans who may be penalized. From April through September of this past year, I was unemployed, due to having been laid off, because my employer did not have the money to pay me.

I attempted to get health insurance, first through my wife’s employer, which would have cost us $350 a month, which we could not afford.

Next, I went to healthcare.gov, and I went through the myriad of pages therein. Seeking and insurance rates. Guess what? Because my wife had a job, I was not eligible for Free Obamacare. Since it was all we could do at that time, to tread water, and to keep a roof over our heads, I could not afford the $450 per month for the policy which was available to me under State-run Healthcare.

Last October, the Good Lord blessed me, and I am now working at a great job,in fact, the best job I have ever had, and that’s saying a lot.

This position has great insurance, which is being activated for me, even as I write this.

Why should I, like millions of other Americans, be punished by this President and his poorly-thought-out national health care plan, passed in the mid of the night, which the majority of Americans did not want in the first place? ?

Now, I realize that Obamacare was the Holy Grail to Brock Hussein Obama and all of his Democratic minions in Congress, who shared his vision turning the shining city on the hill into another socialist nation. However, perhaps they should have actually read the bill before they passed it, Nancy Pelosi notwithstanding.

Obamacare is proving to be just another failed plan, by a president who is in way over his head, and who believes that Marxist Theory has only failed in other countries, because it has never been properly implemented in America.

Anytime someone tries to punish innocent Americans, for fun and / or profit, they pay the price.

As the Democrats found out in November of last year, and we’ll find out in November of 2016…

KJ’s 2015 State of the Union (A KJ Op Ed)

Tonight, the 44th President of the United States of America (all 57 of them), Barack Hussein Obama, will stand before a Joint Session of Congress, , and deliver a speech rife with the Rhetoric of Class Warfare and Racial Animus.

Marx, Lenin, and Alinsky would be so proud.

Don’t eat a heavy supper.

Do you remember when Barack Hussein Obama first burst onto the scene? It was during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Here was this young Senator from the state of Illinois, who received the opportunity of a lifetime, to be one of the main speakers at the convention.

Meticulously prepared by his handlers, when the young senator took the stage, you would have thought it was the second coming of Elvis.

George Soros, David Axelrod ,and all of the powers behind the scenes in the Democratic Party made sure that the Main Stream Media would trumpet the triumphant arrival of their next “Golden Boy”, a charismatic individual who would carry the Democrat Party on his back in their quest to reclaim the White House.

And sure enough, thanks to a propaganda campaign by the Main Stream Media and a Democrat ground game spearheaded by the illegal efforts of ACORN, America’s low information voters, desperately wanting to ride the wave of an event which they were told would be historic, the election of America’s first black president, elected instead, America’s first Anti-American president.

As our country quickly found out, we did not elect a world leader, we elected a community organizer.

One of his first actions, as a time-tested product of Chicago politics, was to repay those who got him elected bypassing the phony stimulus bill, which actually turned out to be nothing but a Pork-Laden, Graft-Riddled piece of Political Patronage.

Then, the Community Organizer-In-Chief set about to take over the finest healthcare system in the world.

He knew that he could not accomplish this by being honest, so instead he told the American public, that our National- run Healthcare System would be different from Canada’s and the United Kingdom’s, in which their citizens are subject to long waiting lines for needed operations or they are simply denied them. Obama told Americans that if “you like your doctor you can keep your doctor” and “if you like your health insurance you can keep your health insurance”.

To paraphrase Representative Joe Wilson, he lied.

And, because the launch of “Obamacare” turned out to be such an unmitigated disaster, Obama was forced to issue a bunch of Executive Orders, in an weak, and ultimately, failed, attempt to keep his fellow Democrats for being politically slaughtered in the Mid-Term Elections last November.

So much for Obama’s failed Domestic Policy.

Next, let us focus on Obama’s Foreign Policy, shall we?

From the moment, Obama announced the appointment of his Democratic Primary Opponent, Hillary Rodham Clinton, to be his Secretary of State, Americans felt a prophetic shiver go up their spine.

The Former First Lady had about as much experience in foreign affairs as Michelle Obama has in pushing away from a buffet table.

Obama and Clinton decided to call their Foreign Policy Initiative “Smart Power”.

Unfortunately, for our nation’s safety, it has turned out to be anything but “smart” or “powerful”.

Obama’s failure at Foreign Policy has led to the entire Middle East being consumed by the Bonfire of The Vanities, known as “Arab Spring” in which Moderate Muslims dictators were replaced by Radical Muslim Dictators.

Additionally, during this Arab Spring, on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on American soil in history, 4 brave American,s including our ambassador, were slaughtered at the US Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya.

No effort to save them that night was made by the Obama administration.

And, the “Leader of the Free World”, blamed a Youtube Video for “stirring up” “peaceful Muslims”.

Since then, Obama has made threats and has drawn red lines in the desert sand in an attempt to show the world that he is a powerful leader.

Unfortunately for our safety as nation, Obama’s Fantasyland view of the world, which is not unlike the old Coca Cola Advertisement where everyone had a Coke and a smile, set him up to be a disastrous failure at Foreign Policy.

Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm), the 44th President of these United States, has a problem.

(No, I don’t mean his overbearing wife, Mooch, and her desire to build shopping carts, which will tell us what “healthy” foods to buy. That’s a subject for another blog. Besides, it takes that heifer two rips to haul a.. …well, you know.)

Obama’s problem is one of MISPLACED PRIORITIES.

This problem started the very first time he took the Oath of Office, which clearly outlines his duties as President of the United States of America…

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Let’s examine the President’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES by using the three words which I underlined in the Oath of Office as topic headings, shall we?

To begin with, let’s examine the word PRESERVE.

It is a conflict of interest to swear to “preserve” a country which you have already promised to “radically change”.

As we have discovered, since Obama’s First Inauguration, all those long years ago, Obama has no intention of “preserving” the Land of our Founding Fathers and of hard-working Patriotic Americans, who sacrificed so much, for this Shining City Upon a Hill.

Yes, Mrs. Obama. Those before us, sacrificed “All this for a flag.”

Then, there is Obama’s Domestic Policy, in keeping with his promise to “radically change” this country, which has resulted in 92,000,000 Americans “dropping out” of our Work Force, because they cannot find meaningful jobs in a stagnant economy, controlled by a huge all-powerful Central Government, who rewards the slackers, by giving them FREE STUFF from cradle to grave and punishes those Entrepreneurial Americans who actually hire Americans,with onerous tax burdens, stifling competitiveness and creativity, literally bringing to a halt America’s Engine of Economic Growth.

And, finally, under this “PRESERVE” heading, there is Obama and his Administration’s misplaced priority of establishing a “Tyranny of the Minority”, when it comes to imposing the immorality and situational ethics of a very small minority of Americans on the overwhelming majority of the rest of us, through the use of “Push Polls” perpetuated by the sycophantic Main Stream Media and Liberal Activist Judges, whose sole purpose is to further Obama’s original promise to “radically change” our country, including the definition of a word which has meant the same thing for thousands of years.

Next, Obama swore an oath to PROTECT America.

Obama started his presidency by bowing in front of America’s enemies, during his World Apology Tour.

No President of the United States has every effectively protected our nation from a POSITION OF WEAKNESS.

Ask Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, whose milksop endeavors in Foreign Policy led to increased attacks by the Radical Adherents of the “Religion of Peace’, otherwise known as Muslim Terrorism, or as Obama’s staff immediately renamed these wanton acts of violence, “Man-caused Disasters”.

Also, how can you “protect” a nation whose Southern Border is WIDE OPEN, presently allowing entrance to our Sovereign Nation by our enemies and virulent disease, alike?

By allowing the present Illegal Alien Invasion, Obama is saying to the world,

Hey, C’mon in! Our Estados Unidos es tu Estados Unidos! Sit a spell. Unstrap your sidearm. Take us over.

And, that leads us to our final topic heading, DEFEND.

How can the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave be defended by a President and his Administration who are so naive that they actually believe that they can effectively defend our Sovereign Nation by cutting down our Military to pre-World War II Levels?

Our soldiers were recently being handed their “pink slips” in the field. (And, no, I am not talking about the repeal of DADT.) Our Brightest and Best are receiving “Termination Notices” while on Active Duty).

Brilliant, huh?

I realize that I could have grown this Blog exponentially, by listing all of Obama’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES en masse.

However, I believe that simplicity in communication is the best way to get one’s point across.

The point I have been attempting to make today, is a rather simplistic one, in deference to the Liberals whom I know read this blog on a daily basis, attempting to catch me in some sort of “lie”, which only they can see.

Obama’s MISPLACED PRIORITIES have not only tarnished this Shining City Upon a Hill, but it has endangered the continued existence of America and her citizens, with every day this past week, bringing a new example of Obama’s deliberate ineptness and shallow behavior, in the poor fulfillment of his Oath of Office, to the degree to which average Americans are concerned about their children’s’ and grandchildren’s future.

Obama has failed miserably in his sworn duties as President of the United States.

But, then again, perhaps the only promise he intended to keep, was to “radically change” America.

…for the worse.

Valerie Jarrett: The Power Behind The Throne (A KJ Unauthorized Biography)

Every American who has paid any attention at all to the goings-on at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, knows who Valerie Jarrett is.

Valerie Jarrett was born in November 1956 to American parents in Shiraz, Iran, where her well-known physician father ran a children’s hospital. When Valerie was five, her family moved to London for one year before arriving in Chicago’s elite Hyde Park neighborhood in 1963.

Jarrett’s maternal grandfather was a Chicago Communist named Robert Taylor, who was involved in the 1940s with the Communist Organizations, the American Peace Mobilization and the Chicago Civil Liberties Committee. Also a member of these groups was Frank Marshall Davis.

Frank Marshall Davis (1905 – 1987) was an author, liberal activist, Stalinist agent, and self-admitted pedophile (Would you let your children hang around him?) . Davis was involved in Chicago’s South Side Community Art Center, “a meeting place for young African-American writers and artists during the 1940s”. Coming out of the New Deal Federal Art Project, the Art Center was a hangout for the “Culture Group,” a circle of Communist Party members and sympathizers including Richard Wright, Margaret Burroughs, Marion Perkins and Arna Bontemps.

Jarrett’s mother (Robert Taylor’s daughter) is early childhood education author Barbara Taylor Bowman. She was a co-founder of a Chicago-based graduate school in child development known as the Erikson Institute, named after the psychoanalyst Erik Erikson. Back in 1950, Erikson became a hero to the Radical Left when he resigned from professorship at the University of California, rather than submit to sign an anti-communist loyalty oath as the school required.

Additional evidence of the Erikson Institute’s Radical Left political orientation is the make-up of its board of trustees, which has included, along with Bowman, Tom Ayers (father of Marxist Bomber Bill Ayers (the man Obama called “just a guy in the neighborhood”) and Bill Ayer’s wife, Bernardine Dohrn. Bill Ayers referred to Bowman as “a neighbor and friend” in his 1997 book “A Kind and Just Parent”, in which he wrote that his neighbors also included Louis Farrakhan and “writer Barack Obama”.

Jarrett received a B.A. in psychology from Stanford University in 1978, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School in 1981. In 1983, she married Dr. William Robert Jarrett, son of the Chicago Sun-Times reporter Vernon Jarrett. Vernon Jarrett was a pioneering black journalist who in the 1940s wrote columns for the communist-influenced Chicago Defender extolling Communist poet Langston Hughes and lifelong Stalinists W.E.B. DuBois and Paul Robeson. Also in the 1940s, Mr. Jarrett was a leader of the Chicago chapter of American Youth for Democracy—youth wing of the Communist Party USA. He also served on a publicity committee for the Packinghouse Workers Union, a Chicago-based entity dominated by the CPUSA. During his time with each of these Communist Organizations, Mr. Jarrett had close contact with Frank Marshall Davis.

The plot sickens.

Jarrett worked as a Freelance Writer at Kansas City’s The Call from 1954-58, then returned to Chicago to become the first nationally syndicated black columnist for the Chicago Tribune, before going to write for the Chicago Sun-Times. Mr. Jarrett once sat on a union publicity committee (for the communist-controlled Packinghouse Workers Union) with Frank Marshall Davis. When Vernon Jarrett died in 2004, he was saluted in the pages of People’s Weekly Worker, the house organ of the Communist Party USA.

Valerie Jarrett began her political profession by jumping into Chicago politics in 1987. She accepted a position as Deputy Corporation Counsel for Finance and Development in the administration of Harold Washington, the city’s first African-American mayor. Jarrett’s father-in-law, whom The Washington Post called “a key influence in [Harold] Washington’s decision to run for the Chicago mayoralty,” is rumored to have been the “Kingmaker” responsible for Valerie’s rise through Chicago’s political ranks.

Following Mayor Washington’s death in 1987, Valerie Jarrett worked for his successor, Richard M. Daley, as his Deputy Chief of Staff. In 1991, Jarrett and her colleague Susan Sher recruited to Chicago’s City Hall Michelle Robinson (the future Michelle “Mooch” Obama), who was engaged to Barack Obama. Jarrett quickly became a trusted confidante of both the Obamas.

SIDE NOTE: ***In the summer of 1988, while still at Harvard, Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) landed a job as an intern in the Chicago office of the influential law firm of Sidley Austin. ( How does a first-year law student get an internship at such a prestigious law firm?) He was dating Michelle Robinson, a young lawyer from a working-class family in the South Shore area of the South Side. She also just happened to be his mentor at the firm. The lovebirds got married in 1990, and settled in the Hyde Park neighborhood on the South Side along the lakefront. Built around the University of Chicago, both black and white affluent families lived among the middle class and the poor. Hyde Park boasts a strong base of independent voters who are committed to political reform, which influenced Obama’s political message.***

Jarrett was Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development from 1992 through 1995. After that, she chaired the Chicago Transit Board from 1995 to 2005. Then, from 1995 to 2008, she was the CEO of The Habitat Company, a real estate firm headed by Daniel Levin (cousin of Senator Carl Levin and Representative Sander Levin of Michigan). Marilyn Katz, an activist/public-affairs consultant with close ties to City Hall (and a former Students for a Democratic Society radical) introduced Jarrett to Daniel Levin.

During the years 2000 to 2007, Jarrett was a board member of the Chicago Stock Exchange. She still serves as Chairman of the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Board of Trustees; Vice Chairman of the University of Chicago’s Board of Trustees; a Trustee of Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry; and a Board of Directors member of USG Corporation, a Chicago-based building-materials company.

In 2008, Jarrett was the co-chair of the Obama-Biden Transition Project.

In appreciation of her hard work (and the fact that she was a “bud”), she was appointed to the position of Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Obama Administration.

Jarrett swiftly became one of President Obama’s (and Mrs. Obama’s) closest and most trusted advisers. According to what an Obama 2008 campaign official told the New York Times,

If you want [Barack Obama] to do something, there are two people [he’s] not going to say no to: Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama.

Also in 2008, Susan Sher, who had helped Jarrett recruit Michelle Obama to the Chicago Mayor’s Office in 1991, made a point to emphasize “how incredibly instrumental [Jarrett will] be in virtually everything” in the White House.

Barack Obama thinks that Valerie Jarrett hung the moon and stars.

In July 2009, Obama informed New York Times reporter Robert Draper that,

I trust her completely … She is family.

Obama trusts Jarrett “to speak for me, particularly when we’re dealing with delicate issues.”

The president readily admits that he runs every decision by her.

Concerning her relationship with President Obama, Jarrett says that

We have kind of a mind meld. And chances are, what he wants to do is what I’d want to do.

Valerie Jarrett is the Senior Adviser and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement. However, her official title belies the wide-reaching power she holds in the Obama Administration. As the President and First Lady’s closest friend and confidante, she is often the last person to leave the Oval Office after meetings, and frequently dines with the first family in their private quarters upstairs in “The People’s House”.

Ms. Jarrett is said to be, by those who would know, “the eyes, ears, and nose of the president and first lady. She tells them who’s saying what about who, who’s loyal and who’s not. She advises them about who they should see when they visit a city or a foreign country. She determines who gets invited to the White House and who is left out in the cold.”

Jarrett is actually more powerful than the White House Chief of Staff, as was demonstrated in the “White House Civil Wars” which occurred between her and Rahm Emmanuel and later, Jarrett and William M. Daley.

As was documented in Jodi Kantor’s book, “The Obamas’”, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel went to President Barack Obama, offering to resign in the winter of 2010, after a series of newspapers columns were published, which proclaimed him as the only thing keeping the Obama presidency intact. Former Senior Adviser David Axelrod claims that Emanuel knew that those stories “were an embarrassment” to Obama. The president, already doing poorly in his effort to ram Government-run Healthcare down Americans’ throats, refused the offer to resign, despite being convinced that Emmanuel was actually leaking information to those who were writing the columns.

Michelle Obama and Valerie Jarrett formed a coalition, working together against Rahm Emmanuel’s advice concerning what came to be known as the Affordable Care Act. The “team up” to get the president’s ear on the matter, an effort which eventually led to Rahm Emmanuel’s department from the Obama White House.

Chicago Politician William M. Daley, served as Obama’s Chief of Staff from 2011-2012. He is the brother of Former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and the youngest son of legendary Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley. Obama chose Daley to be his White House chief of staff back in January 2011, but the former banker and veteran political fighter had a rocky road to hoe, to say the least. To say that the job, was not the best fit for him, would be an understatement.

Daley was brought in to improve relations with the business community, Republican Congressmen and women, and others with whom he had built ties over the years. His attempts to create some sort of a ‘grand bargain’ to solve the debt and deficit row fell apart, due to the influence of Tea Party hardliners in Congress, who refused to back down.

First Lady Michelle Obama become upset over the dominance of Chicago Politicians in the White House.

Additionally, the Obamas were particularly ‘horrified’ when Valerie Jarrett was forced out of her high-ranking job at Chicago’s City Hall in 1995, so Valerie and her gal pal “Mooch” double-teamed Barry’s ear lobes again…and POOF! Sayonara Chief of Staff Daley.

Just because Ms. Jarrett is the president’s Senior Adviser, does not mean that she makes good decisions.

Jarrett is, quite frankly, Obama’s “Bad Idea Friend”.

For example,

Obamacare – Even though both Emanuel and political strategist David Axelrod had warned Obama time and again that he didn’t have the votes to ram Obamacare through Congress, Jarrett was among those who got the president to go full stream ahead and ram it down our throats. And, of course, the rest is history…as Obama’s poll numbers continue to slide.

Bringing the Olympics to Chicago – Emanuel fought with “ValJar” over her plans to have Obama give his Presidential Support to Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics. It was Emanuel’s belief that Jarrett was in cahoots with her old boss, Mayor Daley, and his political cronies in the back rooms of Chicago, who would reap a healthy profit from the billions of dollars that would be spent on the Olympics. Rahmbo’s pleas fell on deaf ears, as Obama and his entourage, including Oprah Winfrey, hopped on Air Force One and jetted to Copenhagen to make an impassioned plea for the Olympics, and came back home with egg on his face.

During that time, it came out that

In an uncommonly hard-hitting investigative piece, the Boston Globe’s Binyamin Appelbaum blew the whistle on the rodent-infested, sewage-clogged Chicago slums run by the Obamas’ most trusted confidante. Jarrett refused to answer any questions about Grove Parc, “citing what she called a continuing duty to Habitat’s former business partners.” A “continuing duty,” presumably, to whitewash the inconvenient truth about the failed public-private partnerships the Obamas continue to promote in the White House:

…In one of those endless Chicago coincidences, Grove Parc Plaza Apartments—now targeted for demolition as a result of years of neglect by Obama’s developer friends—sits in the shadows of the proposed site of the city’s 2016 Olympics Stadium. Valerie Jarrett is vice chair of Chicago’s Olympics committee.

Solyndra – Jarrett was instrumental in securing the $535 million taxpayer-funded loan guarantee to Solyndra, a California solar company which, of course, as all of these “Green Companies” are wont to do, went belly up. Jarrett was closely connected to the George Kaiser Family Foundation, which controlled 35.7 percent of Solyndra. The foundation had made a sizable donation to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where Jarrett once served as chairwoman and where one of Obama’s best friends, Eric Whitaker, is currently executive vice president.

The Raid on bin Laden – According to author Richard Minter, in his book “Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him”, Obama canceled the mission to kill bin Laden in January 2011, again in February, and a third time in March. According to the author, Jarrett persuaded him to hold off each time, according to the book.

Minter, a two-time New York Times best-selling author, cited an unnamed source with Joint Special Operations Command who had direct knowledge of the operation and its planning, as his source.

Minter also noted that Obama administration officials said after the raid that the president had delayed giving the order to kill the mastermind behind the barbaric slaughter of 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001, the day before the raid was carried out, in what turned out to be his fourth moment of indecision. At the time, the Administration laid the blame for the delay on unfavorable weather conditions near bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

However, when Minter obtained that day’s weather reports from the U.S. Air Force Combat Meteorological Center, he said, they showed perfect weather conditions for the SEALs to carry out their orders.

SUMMARY: So, who is Valerie Jarrett? Yes, she is Obama’s Senior Adviser and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg.

She is the Obamas’ best friend and consigliere. She holds more power that anyone in the White House, except the First Couple themselves. Iranian by both birth and heritage and Communist or, at least, Radical Left, by familial affiliation, she brings a dangerous combination of both religious and political ideologues, espoused by the enemies of America, to a position of political power and governmental authority, in which she is quite capable, in a clandestine fashion, of changing the direction of the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth.

Obamacare: Gruber, Graft, and Money-Grubbing Weasels

Remember when we found out in the 1980s that the Department of Defense had supposedly been buying $500 hammers and $600 toilet seats?

They were pikers.

“My job was just to see if the numbers added up,” Jonathan Gruber, the controversial architect of ObamaCare, told PBS two years ago.

And add up the numbers he did – at least in terms of Gruber’s consulting fees. A Fox News review of state and federal websites, as well as published reports, finds the MIT economist and his firm have secured millions in federal and state contracts stretching back over the last fifteen years.

Most famously, the Department of Health and Human Services retained Gruber in March 2009 to produce, as the contract stipulated, “a series of technical memoranda on the estimated changes in health insurance coverage and associated costs and impacts to the government under alternative specifications of health system reform.”

That contract netted Gruber $95,000, and an additional HHS contract, inked that June, added $297,600 to the deal – steering almost $400,000 to the creator of the Gruber Microsimulation Model. Still another contract with the agency, as reported here, was said to have exceeded $2 million in value since 2007.

The National Institutes of Health clinched a deal for a like amount ($2.05 million), and the Department of Justice contracted with Gruber for nearly $1.74 million. DOJ? You might ask. Why would the Justice Department be hiring the architect of ObamaCare? Records show Gruber earned the DOJ fee for helping to develop viable incentives to be extended to the tobacco companies in order to dissuade them from targeting teen smokers.

Similarly, Gruber collected $103,500 from the State Department for his services as an expert witness, providing testimony in a NAFTA dispute with a Canadian tobacco firm.

Then there are the state governments. The Fox News review finds Gruber and his firm have consulted for, or provided computer modeling to, at least fifteen states. Glenn Kessler, the widely respected Washington Post columnist who writes under the moniker “The Fact Checker,” reported last week that “at least eight states” have hired Gruber to assist with the launching of their health care exchanges – and Kessler added: “It’s safe to say that about $400,000 appears to be the standard rate for gaining access to the Gruber Microsimulation Model.”

Fox News found that Gruber and his firm shared in a $481,050 contract with Michigan, a $400,000 deal with Wisconsin, and a contract with Minnesota worth nearly $330,000. Other contracts included deals with California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts – where Gruber notably worked with then-Gov. Mitt Romney – Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.

Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, a longtime Gruber critic, told Fox News on Monday that the economist has never been as transparent as he should have been in divulging his consulting contracts to lawmakers when he was testifying before them. “This is not saying the amount of money he made was wrong,” Grassley said, “but when he’s testifying before Congress, there ought to be full disclosure of this so that you know if he’s got a non-biased opinion — or not.”

By all accounts, Gruber is among a handful of economists with top-tier expertise in developing the kind of models that HHS and other agencies depend upon in the formulation of massive initiatives like ObamaCare, and one expert in government contracting told Fox News the MIT professor has carved out a “lucrative” niche.

Let’s sum up what Citizen Gruber has related to us, through those off-the-cuff videos, which have surfaced during the last week…

In one of the videos that surfaced in recent days in which the man described by the Obama campaign as having helped to write Obamacare describes the many ways voters he calls stupid were easily misled about the bill by those pushing it, Gruber says the Cadillac tax will do exactly what the president pledged it would not — dissuade employers in general from providing insurance for its employees .

“Economists have called for 40 years to get rid of the regressive, inefficient and expensive tax subsidy provided for employer provider health insurance,” Gruber said at the Pioneer Institute for public policy research in Boston in 2011. The subsidy is “terrible policy,” Gruber said.

“It turns out politically it’s really hard to get rid of,” Gruber said.

Gruber said the only way those pushing for Obamacare could get rid of the tax subsidy for employer provider health insurance was to tax the more generous, or Cadillac, plans — “mislabeling it, calling it a tax on insurance plans rather than a tax on people when we all know it’s a tax on people who hold those insurance plans.”

The second way was have the tax kick in “late, starting in 2018” and have its rate of growth tied to the consumer price index instead of to the much higher rate of medical inflation. Eventually, the 40% tax on the more expensive plans would impact every employer-provided insurance plan.

“What that means is the tax that starts out hitting only 8% of the insurance plans essentially amounts over the next 20 years essentially getting rid of the exclusion for employer sponsored plans,” Gruber said. “This was the only political way we were ever going to take on one of the worst public policies in America.”

By 2018, Gruber said, those who object to the tax will be obligated to figure out how to come up with the trillion dollars that repealing the tax will take from the U.S. Treasury, or risk significantly adding to the national debt.

This is obviously exactly what Obama told voters in 2009 he had “taken off the table.” It is exactly a process to “eliminate the tax deduction that employers get for providing you with health insurance” that five years ago Obama noted would result in “a lot of employers then would stop providing health care, and we’d probably see more people lose their health insurance than currently have it.”

In other words, Obama and his fellow Liberal Weasels screwed us all.

The harsh reality of my future existence being controlled by a Federal Government, who cannot even properly construct a stinkin’ website, makes me glad I place my faith in God and not in a President.

Now, see if you can follow this:

I have actually been told by Liberals and “Fiscal Conservatives” (but, I repeat myself) that I am “selfish” in my concern that, as a lifelong severe asthmatic, I will not have an affordable, life-saving, health insurance plan available to me in 2014, after ObamaCare.

According to projections, which the Obama Administration itself issued back in July 2010, officials knew the devastating impact of ObamaCare 4 years ago.

Additionally, According to the Federal Register, its mid-range estimate was that by the end of 2014, 76 percent of small group plans would be cancelled, along with 55 percent of large employer plans.

The reason?

Current plans don’t meet the requirements of ObamaCare, which dictate that each plan must cover a list of essential benefits, whether people want them or not.

“Essential benefits” like Free Birth Control and Maternity Care.

Excuse me, Soooper-Geniuses…but, after a certain age, those “benefits” are not longer “essential”.

I am alive today, thanks to the American Healthcare System that your “messiah” and the rest of you Liberal idiots, on both sides of the political aisle, are trying to turn into a money-making arm of the Federal Government, not out of any altruism, but out of an unbridled lust for control of Americans’ lives from cradle to grave.

Now that the little. money-grubbing weasel has spilled the beans, as to how this Administration and their fellow weasels in Congress really feel about the people whom they are supposed to be serving…can’t you just see some of the Democrat Congresscritters, huddled in a Congressional Cloakroom?

We’ve got to protect our phony-boloney jobs, gentlemen! Hrumph!

And, since Obama and his Democrat minions had no clue as to what was actually in The Affordable Care Act”, and they did not want us to either, as Nancy Pelosi, herself, once quipped,

…we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it…

Now, that we have found out what is in it, Americans don’t want it.

And, our entire nation, including Obama and the Democrats, are paying the price for all of their inefficient lies.

Obama at 39%. Does Anyone Know a Good Doctor…Who Hasn’t Closed His Office?

Yesterday, gallup.com reported that President Barack Hussein Obama’s popularity has dropped to 39%.

Quite Frankly, I am surprised that it is that high.

Let’s take a look at the way Americans Feel about his Signature Legislation, the disaster given the ironic name of the Affordable Care Act, or “Obamacare”.

Gallup.com reported on October 8th, that

…Although more provisions of the Affordable Care Act have taken effect over the past year, more Americans still say the law has hurt rather than helped them. Compared with early 2014, fewer Americans say it has had no effect, although this group is still in the majority, at 54%.

…Americans overall are both more positive and more negative about the law’s effect on themselves and their families. Since the start of this year, the percentage saying the law has helped them has increased from 10% to 16%, while the percentage saying it has hurt them has also gone up, and by a similar amount, from 19% to 27%.

At the same time, overall attitudes about the law have stayed constant over the past year. Currently, 41% of Americans approve of the Affordable Care Act, commonly referred to as “Obamacare,” while 53% disapprove.

Attitudes toward the Affordable Care Act remain sharply divided along party lines. Democrats are much more likely than Republicans and independents to say the law has helped them, and Republicans are much more likely to say it has hurt them. Similar percentages of Americans from all three partisan groups say the law has had no effect.

…The 15% of Democrats who say the law has hurt them is up from 6% in May. At the same time, the percentage of Democrats who say the law has helped them has also increased slightly, from 23% to 27%. Republicans’ views now are essentially the same as they were in May.

…Americans’ views on the long-term effect of the healthcare law on the healthcare situation in the U.S. have barely budged over the last year, and remain more negative than positive. Forty-six percent say the law will make things worse in the long run, while 36% say it will make things better and 15% say it will not make much difference.

…Again, the negative tilt toward the law is largely attributable to Republicans’ being much more negative about the law’s effects than Democrats are positive about them. Sixty-six percent of Democrats say the law will make the U.S. healthcare situation better, while 80% of Republicans believe it will make things worse.

…President Barack Obama in a recent speech praised the ACA’s success, saying, “It’s working pretty well in the real world.” Gallup’s ongoing tracking of the uninsured rate shows that the percentage of Americans without health insurance is 3.7 points lower now than it was in late 2013, before the requirement to have health insurance took effect.

Even though the healthcare law appears to have lowered the U.S. uninsured rate, Americans’ views toward the law overall and its effect on the U.S. healthcare situation in the long run continue to be more negative than positive. Views may change as more Americans gain insurance through the 2014 open enrollment period, which begins Nov. 15.

A survey was conducted by fax and online by the Doctor Patriot Medical Association, from April 18 to May 22, 2012. DPMAF obtained the office fax numbers of 36,000 doctors in active clinical practice, and 16, 227 faxes were successfully delivered. Doctors were asked to return their completed surveys by fax, or online at a web address included in the faxed copy. Browser rules prevented doctors from filing duplicate surveys, and respondents were asked to provide personal identification for verification. The response rate was 4.3% for a total of 699 completed surveys.

SURVEY RESPONDENTS

Doctors from 45 states responded, in addition to 130 who did not provide their geographical information.

Most are in solo or small group practice (81%) and office-based (89%) versus hospital-based (11%).

Most of the doctors are mid-career (77%) and have been in practice between 11 and 30 years.

GENERAL CONCLUSIONS:

Almost unanimous that medicine is on the wrong track, and overwhelmingly blame the government;

Government-imposed solutions (PPACA, electronic health information) destined to fail;

Highest numbers ever opting out of Medicare or refuse Medicaid;

Vacuum in leadership in medical profession, feel abandoned by AMA & organized medicine;

Corporate medicine (including hospital and insurance companies) is intentionally trying to destroy private practice;

Doctors are pessimistic – failing financially & assume things will worsen;

See doctors and patients as the solution – not government;

Believe direct payment by patients will restore accountability & patient control;

Restored autonomy, elimination of government involvement, increased patient responsibility and free market reforms are solutions.

KEY FINDINGS

90% say the medical system is on the WRONG TRACK
83% say they are thinking about QUITTING
61% say the system challenges their ETHICS
85% say the patient-physician relationship is in a TAILSPIN
65% say GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT is most to blame for current problems
72% say individual insurance mandate will NOT result in improved access care
49% say they will STOP accepting Medicaid patients
74% say they will STOP ACCEPTING Medicare patients, or leave Medicare completely
52% say they would rather treat some Medicaid/Medicare patient for FREE
57% give the AMA a FAILING GRADE representing them
1 out of 3 doctors is HESITANT to voice their opinion
2 out of 3 say they are JUST SQUEAKING BY OR IN THE RED financially
95% say private practice is losing out to CORPORATE MEDICINE
80% say DOCTORS/MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS are most likely to help solve things
70% say REDUCING GOVERNMENT would be single best fix.

This survey hit home recently, as my and my wife’s primary doctors both decided that they were too old to put up with this mess any longer, both closing their offices. Her’s decided to become a hospitalist, dealing with in-hospital patients only. My doctor joined a local “See You Now”-type clinic.

I was literally raised by 3 doctors. No, I’m not some genetic experiment, like Arnold Schwarzenegger was in the movie “Twins” with Danny DeVito. I was born a severe asthmatic, caused by being born a month premature to a Mother 3 days before her 40th birthday.

These three men worked in the same clinic in Mid-town Memphis, TN. They later went on to become the chairmen of the Medical and Surgery Departments at a local hospital.

Some of my most vivid childhood memories involve laying in one of their examination rooms, with oxygen strapped to my face, as my beloved Daddy waited nervously, by my side.

Asthma treatment back then, consisted of a swig of nasty-tasting yellow Triaminic Syrup, a shot of Epinephrine, an antibiotic shot (usually a Mycin drug), a prescription for Prednisone to alleviate the inflammation, and a prescription for an anti-biotic (again, usually a mycin drug). Thank goodness, back then, (1960s through early 1970s) Sears, where both of my parents worked, had a really good insurance plan.

That being said, I owe my life to those three devoted physicians and the Greatest Healthcare System in the World.

Unfortunately, that Healthcare System, thanks to the megalomaniac who resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC, is in the process of going the way of the Dodo Bird.

So, the question persists, regarding this fiasco euphemistically named the Affordable Care Act, as my wife and I try to figure out whom to choose as our primary physicians, in order to continue the maintenance medicines which we both requite to continue living,

How can a state-run Healthcare System function without any doctors? Answer: it can’t.

Valerie Jarrett: The Power Behind The Throne (A KJ Unauthorized Biography)

Every American who has paid any attention at all to the goings-on at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, knows who Valerie Jarrett is.

The plot sickens.

In 2008, Jarrett was the co-chair of the Obama-Biden Transition Project.

Jarrett swiftly became one of President Obama’s (and Mrs. Obama’s) closest and most trusted advisers. According to what an Obama 2008 campaign official told the New York Times,

If you want [Barack Obama] to do something, there are two people [he’s] not going to say no to: Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama.

Barack Obama thinks that Valerie Jarrett hung the moon and stars.

In July 2009, Obama informed New York Times reporter Robert Draper that,

I trust her completely … She is family.

Obama trusts Jarrett “to speak for me, particularly when we’re dealing with delicate issues.”

The president readily admits that he runs every decision by her.

Concerning her relationship with President Obama, Jarrett says that

We have kind of a mind meld. And chances are, what he wants to do is what I’d want to do.

First Lady Michelle Obama become upset over the dominance of Chicago Politicians in the White House.

Additionally, the Obamas were particularly ‘horrified’ when Valerie Jarrett was forced out of her high-ranking job at Chicago’s City Hall in 1995, So Valerie and her gal pal “Mooch” double-teamed Barry’s ear lobes again…and POOF! Sayonara Chief of Staff Daley.

Just because Ms. Jarrett is the president’s Senior Adviser, does not mean that she makes good decisions.

Jarrett is, quite frankly, Obama’s “Bad Idea Friend”.

Jarrett refused to answer any questions about Grove Parc, “citing what she called a continuing duty to Habitat’s former business partners.” A “continuing duty,” presumably, to whitewash the inconvenient truth about the failed public-private partnerships the Obamas continue to promote in the White House:

…In one of those endless Chicago coincidences, Grove Parc Plaza Apartments—now targeted for demolition as a result of years of neglect by Obama’s developer friends—sits in the shadows of the proposed site of the city’s 2016 Olympics Stadium. Valerie Jarrett is vice chair of Chicago’s Olympics committee.

Minter, a two-time New York Times best-selling author, cited an unnamed source with Joint Special Operations Command who had direct knowledge of the operation and its planning, as his source.

She is the Obamas’ best friend and consigliere. She holds more power that anyone in the White House, except the First Couple themselves. Iranian by both birth and heritage and Communist or, at least, Radical Left, by familial affiliation, she brings a dangerous combination of both religious and political ideologues, espoused n the enemies of America, to a position of political power and governmental authority, in which she is quite capable, in a clandestine fashion, of changing the direction of the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth.

Scary, huh?

To Impeach Or Not To Impeach…That Is the Question

So, here we are…2014…approximately five and one-half years after Barack Hussein Obama assumed the mantle of President of the United States.

This new President, who, according to Vice-President Joe Biden, was clean and articulate, was praised by the Main Stream Media, the Liberal Democrat Hierarchy in Washington, and anybody who was anybody in Hollywood, as being someone “extra-special”who could make the oceans rise and fall , heal the sick, raise the dead, and make the little girls talk out of their head.

American schoolchildren were singing hymns of praise to this new Messiah, written by their school teachers, who foresaw a lucrative career in their futures, under this new wunderkind.

Obama soon hit the ground running, appropriating our tax money to fund abortions around the world…and, he was just getting started!

Before too long, along came Obamacare and the division between our political parties became wider than ever.

It soon became apparent that all of the fears, held by American Conservatives before the election, were absolutely true…and then some.

As his presidency progressed, Obama proved to be a master of the teleprompter and even wrote his own speeches (or, so we were told). However, if you take away the teleprompter of the United States, the “Leader of the Free World” sounds like a tongue tied schoolboy on his first date.

His Foreign Policy of Smart Power!, administered by his Secretary of State, Former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, turned out to be a disaster, which led to the Middle East erupting into a giant bonfire, which was euphemistically named “Arab Spring”, because it was supposed to bring new hope to the Middle East.

Instead, all it did was replace Moderate Muslim Dictators with Radical Muslim Dictators.

“Smart Power!” carries on even now, with Senator John Kerry having replaced Mrs Clinton as the Head of the State Department.

“Ol’ Horse Face” has been less than spectacular since taking over in January of 2013. He and his boss decided that they would try to rain in Russian Leader Vladimir Putin, with sanctions against him and his country. This strategy has proven to be about as effective as Michelle’s diet plan for the nations schools.

Obama has succeeded through his “Smart Power!” Foreign Policy to alienate our friends and empower our enemies.

Yesterday, I read that Secretary of State Kerry was whining that Israel was not listening to him, concerning his attempt to broker a cease-fire between them with Hamas.

Why should Israel listen to Secretary Kerry?

He and his boss have done nothing for Bibi Netanyahu and Israel, except to stab them in the back in private, while claiming to support what they are doing in public.

As one of those affected by this economy and in the middle of a job search, I can state without hesitation that Obama’s Domestic Policy, including his Economy Policy stinks on ice.

Over 92 million Americans have dropped out of our work force, due to frustration in their efforts to find meaningful employment.

It was also announced yesterday that the Gross Domestic Product was up for the 2nd Quarter and judging from the reaction of the Main Stream Media, one would have thought that it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Meanwhile, out here in the real world, America’s Economy remains stagnant, due to Obama’s Socialist Economic Policy, which punishes the job creators and rewards the 47%.

And, to further his goal of “radically changing” America, Obama has encouraged America’s invasion by tens of thousands of illegal aliens, who are being cared for at taxpayers’ expense.

As Americans have watched, Obama’s Foreign and Domestic Policies have lead to a crumbling of America’s economic standing and place of prestige, among the nations of the world.

Over the last few months, it has become very apparent to not only the professional politicians in Washington, but to their constituents back home as well, that Obama has just been “calling it in”.

Obama seems more interested in vacationing and golfing, than he does in doing his job.

His Administration is so corrupt that I would not want to be around them, either.

But, I digress…

The falling down to Earth of the Liberals’ messiah has left the Democratic Party in a quandary as we approach the 2014 Midterm Elections.

How do you stir up excitement to vote for the political party of a failing President?

Simple. You get hold of your friends in the mainstream media and you tell anyone who listens, that the Republican Party wants to impeach President Barack Hussein Obama.

Your hope being, that this action of old white Republicans attempting to oust the First Black President of the United States of America, will anger and energize the Democratic Base so much, that they will ignore the poor track record of Obama and their Democrat Senators and Representatives, and the threat of impeachment will somehow head off the political massacre that is going to befall the Democrat Party in November of 2014.

I believe that the Democrat Hierarchy saw recent polls demonstrating how far the President’s popularity has fallen, such as the one which showed that one-third of the nation wants to impeach Barack Hussein Obama, and they decided to use it as a political tool with which to retain their phony baloney jobs this November.

Now, I’ll be honest with you: I want to impeach the Prevaricator-in-Chief, myself.

However, prudence dictates that we wait until after we regain the Senate in November of this year.

I believe that it is our duty as American Conservatives to get out the vote and elect Conservatives in November.

Once the election is over, we can not-so-subtly remind these newly elected Congressmen and those who have already been up in Washington for years, just exactly who it is that they work for.

Then, “We The People” can decide if we want our elected representatives to impeach the Petulant President.

By then, unless his Democrat Advisors tell him not to, Obama is very likely to have passed Amnesty by Executive Order, and whatever else he can think of.

In his arrogance, Obama truly believes that he is untouchable. It’s good to be the King!

In conclusion, boys and girls, it’s time for us to gear up.

Support your local Conservatives for national office and continue to put pressure on those who are already in Washington.

Remind these “public servants” that November is coming fast.

And, Americans are paying attention.

Former Senior Adviser David Axelrod claims that Emanuel knew that those stories “were an embarrassment” to Obama. The president, already doing poorly in his effort to ram Government-run Healthcare down Americans’ throats, refused the offer to resign, despite being convinced that Emmanuel was actually leaking information to those who were writing the columns.
