Massacre at the Navy Yard: 13 Americans Die. Obama Pontificates on How Bad the Republicans Are.

American flag half mastYesterday morning, America witnessed another incident of “workplace violence”. Only this time, it occurred right in the heart of our nation’s capital, at the U.S. Navy Yard.

The Washington Post reports that

…13 people are dead and 14 others were injured after a gunman opened fire at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday, Navy officials said, spreading fear and chaos across the region as authorities sought to contain the panic.

The incident, in which the death toll rose almost hourly, represents the single worst loss of life in the District since an airliner plunged into the Potomac River in 1982, killing 78.

D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier and Mayor Vincent C. Gray announced the mounting number of casualties in a series of news conferences. The suspected shooter, identified by the FBI as Aaron Alexis, 34, living in Fort Worth, is among the 13 dead. Alexis was a military contractor, one official said.

But even hours after the rampage began, it was still unclear whether the shooting was the act of a lone gunman, or if other shooters were involved. Lanier initially said authorities were looking for two more potential shooters dressed in military style clothing. But shortly after she announced a detailed description of two suspects, city officials said one had been located and cleared.

Lanier described the other possible suspect, who has not been located, as a black man in his 40s with gray sideburns, wearing an olive-drab military-style uniform. He, and the man who was cleared, came under suspicion when they were seen on surveillance videos.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect to call 202-727-9099.

Gray said no motive is known yet. He said there is no reason to believe it was an act of terrorism, though he added that he could not rule it out.

Gray said that in addition to those killed, about a dozen people were hurt. Later in the evening Vice Adm. Bill French said the number of injured was 14.

It was not clear whether those people were shot or suffered other injuries.

Pentagon officials said the Navy will wait 24 hours before releasing the names of people killed in the attack.

As of 8:30 p.m. Monday, Navy officials said about 2,000 people remained on base, and that it could take another 3-4 hours before everyone was cleared to leave.

The FBI was still interviewing every person leaving the base out of concern that a second suspect may still be at large, French said. And SWAT teams are still finding people hiding in places on the base, where some had remained hunkered down since the initial attack early Monday morning. One city officials said that shortly before 7 p.m., officers found an employee hiding in a locker, where the employee had been for nearly 11 hours.

Throughout the day, people had been warned to stay in their homes and offices on the Naval Base as the incident unfolded.

Alexis was armed with an assault rifle and a handgun, two law enforcement officials said. One said he also had a shotgun. One official said all the weapons have not been accounted for.

Shortly after the massacre, President Barack Hussein Obama came out to deliver a previously scheduled speech on the Economy. He prefaced his prepared speech, with brief remarks on the Navy Yard Massacre, before launching into one of his usual partisan, didactic lectures about how he, the Lightbringer, could fix this rotten economy (which he is responsible for), if Republicans would just shut up and get out of his way.

What happens up on Capitol Hill is going to help determine not only the pace of our growth, but also the quality of jobs, the quality of opportunity for this generation and future generations.

The problem is at the moment, Republicans in Congress don’t seem to be focused on how to grow the economy and build the middle class. I say “at the moment” because I’m still hoping that a light bulb goes off here. (Laughter.)

So far, their budget ideas revolve primarily around even deeper cuts to education, even deeper cuts that would gut America’s scientific research and development, even deeper cuts to America’s infrastructure investment — our roads, our bridges, our schools, our energy grid. These aren’t the policies that would grow the economy faster. They’re not the policies that would help grow the middle class. In fact, they’d do the opposite.

Obama continued to expound on how horrible the opposition party, who stands in his path of  implementing socialism, err…fairness…is.

Meanwhile…at the Navy Yard…Americans lay dead, dying, and wounded. Their political affiliation did not matter, nor did their race, or their sexual preference. They were Americans, shot by a lunatic, who at the time, was thought to have two accomplices.

However, Obama was on a mission yesterday. He had his wonderful (just ask him) speech prepared, and by God, he was going to give it, come Hell…or dead Americans.

In fact, if Valerie Jarrett, or one of his other aides, had not told him and Moochelle how horrible an optic it would have been last night, Obama would have been shaking his groove thing, at the Latino Par-tay that was scheduled for Monday Night at the White House. Word did not come out until yesterday afternoon, that the event had been cancelled .

There has never been such a self-involved president in United States History.

As evidenced by the Syria Fiasco, our opinion does not matter to him.

And, as he showed yesterday morning, American lives are not that high a priority to this United States President, either.

Because, after all, it is all about Obama, isn’t it?

The Syria Situation: Style Over Substance

ObamaSyriaOptionsWell, it’s 1…2…3 what are we fightin’ for?

Don’t tell me, I don’t give a da!@,

The next stop might be Iran.

Telegraph.co.uk reports that

Opposition forces battling Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria now number around 100,000 fighters, but after more than two years of fighting they are fragmented into as many as 1,000 bands.

The new study by IHS Jane’s, a defence consultancy, estimates there are around 10,000 jihadists – who would include foreign fighters – fighting for powerful factions linked to al-Qaeda..

Another 30,000 to 35,000 are hardline Islamists who share much of the outlook of the jihadists, but are focused purely on the Syrian war rather than a wider international struggle.

There are also at least a further 30,000 moderates belonging to groups that have an Islamic character, meaning only a small minority of the rebels are linked to secular or purely nationalist groups.

The stark assessment, to be published later this week, accords with the view of Western diplomats estimate that less than one third of the opposition forces are “palatable” to Britain, while American envoys put the figure even lower.

Fears that the rebellion against the Assad regime is being increasingly dominated by extremists has fuelled concerns in the West over supplying weaponry that will fall into hostile hands. These fears contributed to unease in the US and elsewhere over military intervention in Syria.

Charles Lister, author of the analysis, said: “The insurgency is now dominated by groups which have at least an Islamist viewpoint on the conflict. The idea that it is mostly secular groups leading the opposition is just not borne out.”

That goes against the narrative that Obama, Kerry, McCain and all of the rest of the new “Warhawks” have been issuing , about how “noble” the Syrian “Rebel Forces” are.

Another bit of rhetoric from Obama and his supporters has been their denial that, if we get involved in Syria’s Civil War, there will be no need for our servicemen to put their “boots on the ground”.

Defense Department officials were less certain Thursday on whether U.S. military personnel might be sent to help secure or destroy Syria’s chemical weapons.

Pentagon Press Secretary George Little gave a vague answer when asked if U.S. troops were prepared to assist should an international agreement allow Russia to take control of the tons of chemical weapons believed to be in the stockpiles of President Bashar al-Assad.

“I’m not going to speculate on who may or may not be participating in a process that may or may not take place,” Little said. “We’ve got to see where the process goes” before the U.S. military considers involvement, he said.

The first steps in the process were taking place in Geneva, where Secretary of State John Kerry was meeting for a second day with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Moscow’s proposal to have international teams take control of the chemical weapons.

Syria has tentatively agreed to the Russian initiative and also agreed to join the international ban on chemical and biological weapons.

Lavrov has urged the U.S. to speed the negotiations by dropping the threat to launch strikes on Syria, but Little said “the threat of military action is driving the process forward.”

To back up the threat, the U.S. was keeping four destroyers off the Syrian coast and the Nimitz carrier strike group in the Red Sea, though some of the ships may be replaced if the negotiations are drawn out, Little said.

God’s gift to American Foreign Policy, the Lightbringer himself, appeared on ABC’s “This Week”, yesterday, where he said

“Folks here in Washington like to grade on style,” he said during an interview with ABC’s “This Week.” “Had we rolled out something that was very smooth and disciplined and linear they would have graded it well, even if it was a disastrous policy. … We know that because that’s exactly how they graded the Iraq War until it ended up blowing [up] in our face.

…“I’m less concerned about style points. I’m much more concerned about getting the policy right,” he said in a wide-ranging interview in which he talked about Iran’s pursuit of a nuclear weapon and criticized House Republicans’ approach to fiscal negotiations, including an upcoming talk on increasing the federal debt limit.

Obama said the United States’ approach to Syria should show Iran that there’s the potential for diplomatic solutions to arms standoffs.

But he says Iran shouldn’t assume that his preference for diplomacy means the U.S. won’t strike Tehran.

Obama said Iranians understand that their pursuit of a nuclear weapon is “a far larger issue for us” than the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

The president also said he has exchanged letters with Iran’s new president, but the two have not spoken directly.

Obama said he believes Iranian President Hasan Rouhani understands the potential for a diplomatic solution to his country’s disputed nuclear program but will not “suddenly make it easy.”

Iran says its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

On June 4, 2009, in his “Speech to the Muslim World, titled “A New Beginning”, given at the University of Cairo, United States President Barack Hussein Obama said,

It’s easier to start wars than to end them. It’s easier to blame others than to look inward. It’s easier to see what is different about someone than to find the things we share. But we should choose the right path, not just the easy path. There’s one rule that lies at the heart of every religion — that we do unto others as we would have them do unto us. (Applause.) This truth transcends nations and peoples — a belief that isn’t new; that isn’t black or white or brown; that isn’t Christian or Muslim or Jew. It’s a belief that pulsed in the cradle of civilization, and that still beats in the hearts of billions around the world. It’s a faith in other people, and it’s what brought me here today.

When Obama became President, Britain and Israel were our allies, and the Islamic Terrorists Organizations, the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda, were our sworn enemies.

Now, in 2013, Britain and Israel have been cast aside and the Muslim Terrorists have been invited to our White House, wined and dined, and supported in their efforts to take over the Middle East by our Administration.

Oh, these Terrorist Groups still want to kill each and every one of us infidels, but that doesn’t matter to Obama. He has another Nobel Peace Price to win.

Congress: I’d Like to Buy ’em for What They’re Worth and Sell ’em for What They Think They’re Worth

clowncarThe only difference between death and taxes is that death doesn’t get worse every time Congress meets. – Will Rogers

I started writing daily, back in April of 2010, as a way to vent my frustrations with the Marxist Buffoon, who was and is living in OUR House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C.. and all the chicanery found in the Halls of Congress. Of course back then, the Democrats controlled both Houses of Congress, and they we going ahead with Obama’s plan for radically changing America, regardless of the wishes of the majority of Americans.

Unfortunately, even with the valiant effort of American Conservatives, who voted en masse in 2010 to secure the House of Representatives for the Republicans, things have actually gotten worse.

What we did not count on was the entrenched Republican Elite, settled in the muddy bottom of the Congressional Cesspool, dangling power and prestige to Freshman Congresscritters, like an alligator snapping turtle wiggling his pink tongue like a worm to lure in an unsuspecting fish.

Total power corrupts totally….and, it did.

Now, in Obama’s second term, average Americans such as you and I, are watching in disgust as those whom we voted for , have turned on us like Rosie O’Donnell and Roseanne Barr fighting over the last fried chicken leg.

Instead of getting rid of the abomination known  as Obamacare, as they promised, Speaker John Boehner and Company seem perfectly pleased to stand by and wave at the monster, as “the parade” passes them by.

It’s bad enough when Dingy Harry Reid, shows no shame at all in telling us that our servants deserve to be exempt from Obamacare, because “that’s the way the law is written”.

I guess he finally read it, huh?

The Republican Elite, who are so much smarter than us inbred hicks from the Heartland (just ask them), have decided to delay Obamacare, not defund it, as they promised during the Midterm Elections in 2010 and the General Elections in 2012.

Back on August 23rd, the Washington Post reported that

Speaker of the House John Boehner (Ohio), in a call with his conference Thursday evening, told Republicans the best move would to be secure the sequester cuts in a continuing resolution rather than threaten to shut down the government, a source on the call told Right Turn. As for Obamacare, the House would seek to delay the individual mandate, not defund the president’s pet legislation, a move that effectively pulls the rug out from Senate hardliners threatening to shut down the government.

The source related that Boehner told his members, “The president is desperate to get rid of the sequester. . . . So desperate that he says he’ll shut down the government if

Congress follows the law and funds the government at the levels his sequester

mandates. The president’s threat to shut down the government if we implement his sequester is not a defensible position. The American people won’t stand for it, and we’re not going to be swayed by it.” According to the source, Boehner then said, “When we return, our intent is to move quickly on a short-term continuing resolution that keeps the government running and maintains current sequester spending levels. Our message will remain clear: Until the president agrees to better cuts and reforms that help grow the economy and put us on path to a balanced budget, his sequester — the sequester he himself proposed, insisted on and signed into law — stays in place.”

A senior GOP aide told me that no final decisions have been made on defunding Obamacare as it relates to the continuing resolution. However, Boehner clearly intends to thwart what many sober conservatives see as a suicidal plan to defund Obamacare.

Let’s face it. Obamacare is here…and the Republican Brain Trust hasn’t done squat about it.

But, then again, they also haven’t done anything about the economy, either.

Plus, several of them are siding with Obama and Secretary of State Kerry in their quest to pave the way for al Qaeda to ascend to the Presidency of Syria.

It is behavior like this that led Mark Twain to quip,

It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly native criminal class except Congress.

Now, there are several fine Conservatives in Congress, like Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and err…umm…well, I’m sure there are more fine Conservatives in there somewhere.

Anyway, the problem we have with Congress is an age-old addiction. President Ronald Reagan was quite familiar with it. He described Congress’ condition perfectly,

Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other.

As all of us parents and grandparents know, babies are expensive and unruly…if you do not discipline them.

As we head toward the 2014 Midterm Elections, it time for the Tea Party to reform. We need a complete Grass Roosts Effort  to remind the “dedicated (to themselves) public servants just exactly who pays for their salaries, perks, and pensions.

Being an American by Birth, and Southern by the Grace of God,my favorite play of all time is “Lil’ Abner”. One of my favorite scenes in the movie they made of it, which starred Petter Palmer as Abner, Stubby Kaye as Marryin’ Sam, and the great Billie Hayes as Mammy Yoakum, was when Senator Fogbound (what a great name) holds a meeting with the townsfolk of Dogpatch, to tell them that they had to evacuate, due to an upcoming “A-tomic” Bomb Test.

Sen. Fogbound: I know y’all have been wondering what I have been doing up there in Washington on your behalf.

Mammy Yoakum: We didn’t care…as long as you wuz up there…and we wuz down here!

That’s the way that Low Information Voters feel about Congress. However, we can not allow that ignorance any more.

It’s time to get involved. It’s time to once again, rise up, get organized and ready to go to the polls in 2014.

It’s time to prepare to take our country back.

Elizabeth O’Bagy and the Syrian Emergency Task Force: Taypayer-Funded Regime Change

Elizabeth O'BagyYou’re the Secretary of State of the United States of America. Your job is to carry out the Foreign Affairs Strategy of the President. Of course, you can’t do it by yourself. You need help.

So, who do you turn, too? Henry Kissinger is not available and Former Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, thinks you stink on ice.

Well, I would think that you would reach for whatever resources you could…especially, if you were trying to justify inserting America’s Armed Forces into another nation’s Civil War, in an effort to assist the very Terrorist Group that killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11/01 and 4 brave Americans in Benghazi on 9/11/12. Perhaps, you would even accept the expert opinion of an op ed writer for the Wall Street Journal, whose own viewpoint matches your own.

Why, she even had a PhD! Or…maybe not.

The Syria researcher whose Wall Street Journal op-ed piece was cited by Secretary of State John Kerry and Sen. John McCain during congressional hearings about the use of force has been fired from the Institute for the Study of War for lying about having a Ph.D., the group announced on Wednesday.

“The Institute for the Study of War has learned and confirmed that, contrary to her representations, Ms. Elizabeth O’Bagy does not in fact have a Ph.D. degree from Georgetown University,” the institute said in a statement. “ISW has accordingly terminated Ms. O’Bagy’s employment, effective immediately.”

O’Bagy told POLITICO in an interview Monday that she had submitted and defended her dissertation and was waiting for Georgetown University to confer her degree. O’Bagy said she was in a dual master’s and doctorate program at Georgetown.

Kimberly Kagan, who founded the ISW in 2007, said in an interview that while she was “deeply saddened” by the situation, she stands by O’Bagy’s work on Syria.

”Everything I’ve looked at is rock solid,” Kagan told POLITICO. “Every thread that we have pulled upon has been verified through multiple sources.”

Paul Gigot, editorial page editor of The Wall Street Journal, told POLITICO in a statement that “we were not aware of Elizabeth O’Bagy’s academic claims or credentials when we published her Aug. 31 op-ed, and the op-ed made no reference to them.”

“We also were not aware of her affiliation with the Syrian Emergency Task Force, and we published a clarification when we learned of it,” Gigot said. “We are investigating the contents of her op-ed to the best of our ability, but to date we have seen no evidence to suggest any information in the piece was false.”

O’Bagy started at the institute as an unpaid intern and was pulled into their work on Syria when a researcher needed a fluent Arabic speaker, which transformed her internship into a much longer gig. Kagan hired O’Bagy as an analyst around August or September 2012, and said her understanding was that O’Bagy was working toward her Ph.D. at Georgetown.

The website known as Right Web, an arm of the Institute for Policy Studies, has a profile of Dr. *cough* O’Bagy, which states

Elizabeth O’Bagy is a research analyst based at the neoconservative Institute for the Study of War (ISW), where she has written several reports on the Syrian opposition.[1] She has also worked as the political director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF),[2] a D.C.-based advocacy group closely linked to the Syrian opposition that “aims to expedite the fall of the [Assad] dictatorship regime,” according to a statement on its website.[3]

O’Bagy has traveled to Syria several times and visited with armed opposition groups there. She is the author of numerous reports and op-ed pieces calling on the United States to provide heavy weaponry to the Syrian rebels and to launch missile strikes on critical regime infrastructure. “Any swift and decisive decision to materially aid the Free Syrian Army,” she wrote for the Atlantic in June 2013, “will necessarily include degrading or destroying the runways and infrastructure of Syria’s military airbases and commercial airports.”[4]

However, O’Bagy’s dual affiliation with ISW and SETF has been the source of some controversy, particularly after the publication of an August 2013 Wall Street Journal op-ed in which O’Bagy claimed that extremist groups were less prominent components of the armed Syrian opposition than is typically reported.

Information now shows that al Qaeda and affiliated groups actually make up the majority of the “Syrian Rebel Forces”.

Okay. So, whose checks was this overpaid, under-qualified blooming idiot cashing?

“Most of the contracts that I’ve been a part of through the Task Force have been through CSO, which is the Conflict and Stabilization Office[sic],” O’Bagy told The Daily Caller. O’Bagy was likely referring to the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations, a State Department-funded organization.

In other words, boys and girls…YOU AND I WERE!!!

Our money has been going to a bunch of pointy-headed bureaucrats, who have been trying to figure out a way to engineer a “regime change” in Syria.

The plot sickens.

Obama, Kerry, and all their “Warhawks” have been insisting that the goal of Obama’s “limited engagement” plan in Syria is not “regime change.”

If it is not, why has the Obama Administration spent Our Money studying a Civil War, which has no effect on the daily lives of Americans?

Methinks they doth protest too much.

A Reply to President Putin Concerning American Exceptionalism

americaneagleflag

Over the past couple of weeks, I have felt like a witness to some macabre play, in which the United States of America is saddled with a weak, sniveling, clueless milk toast of a President, whose entire Administration is comprised of a bunch of unqualified and unprincipled neophytes, who have no qualms about embarrassing our country and making us look like fools on the World Stage.

And, today, I realize that what I am watching with such horror and disgust…is reality.

And, I don’t like it. One bit.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, the new leader of the “Free” World, since United States President Barack Hussein Obama abdicated the role, says that every little t’ing is gonna be alright ( Hey. That would make great song. Oh…never mind.), if we just remember that America is now just another country.

I welcome the president’s interest in continuing the dialogue with Russia on Syria. We must work together to keep this hope alive, as we agreed to at the Group of 8 meeting in Lough Erne in Northern Ireland in June, and steer the discussion back toward negotiations.

If we can avoid force against Syria, this will improve the atmosphere in international affairs and strengthen mutual trust. It will be our shared success and open the door to cooperation on other critical issues.

My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional.” It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.

On July 17, 1980, Ronald Wilson Reagan, at the Republican National Convention, accepting their Nomination as the Presidential Candidate, spoke the following prophetic words:

The major issue of this campaign is the direct political, personal and moral responsibility of Democratic Party leadership — in the White House and in Congress — for this unprecedented calamity which has befallen us. They tell us they have done the most that humanly could be done. They say that the United States has had its day in the sun; that our nation has passed its zenith. They expect you to tell your children that the American people no longer have the will to cope with their problems; that the future will be one of sacrifice and few opportunities.

My fellow citizens, I utterly reject that view. The American people, the most generous on earth, who created the highest standard of living, are not going to accept the notion that we can only make a better world for others by moving backwards ourselves. Those who believe we can have no business leading the nation.

I will not stand by and watch this great country destroy itself under mediocre leadership that drifts from one crisis to the next, eroding our national will and purpose. We have come together here because the American people deserve better from those to whom they entrust our nation’s highest offices, and we stand united in our resolve to do something about it.

We need rebirth of the American tradition of leadership at every level of government and in private life as well. The United States of America is unique in world history because it has a genius for leaders — many leaders, on many levels. But back in 1976, Mr. Carter said, “Trust me.” And a lot of people did. Now, many of those people are out of work. Many have seen their savings eaten away by inflation. Many others on fixed incomes, especially the elderly, have watched helplessly as the cruel tax of inflation wasted away their purchasing power. And, today, a great many who trusted Mr. Carter wonder if we can survive the Carter policies of national defense.

“Trust me” government asks that we concentrate our hopes and dreams on one man; that we trust him to do what’s best for us. My view of government places trust not in one person or one party, but in those values that transcend persons and parties. The trust is where it belongs — in the people. The responsibility to live up to that trust is where it belongs, in their elected leaders. That kind of relationship, between the people and their elected leaders, is a special kind of compact.

You see, President Putin…President Obama, that is where the exceptionalism of America lies…not in the Halls of Power…but in the courage and spirit of the average American. The 9 to 5’er, working himself crazy to try to provide for his family. It was this same average Joe, who fired the shot heard around the world and began the War for American Independence, who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II, who waded through rice paddies in Vietnam, and who swallowed sand in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The same average Joe who, as a New York City Policeman or Fireman, ran up the stairs of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, instead of running down them. The same average Joe, who simply wants things to be easier in this life for his children and grandchildren, than he had it.

The same average Joe who takes family and friends in, when they are in the midst of a life-altering tragedy. The same average Joe who gets misty-eyed when he sees an advertisement for St. Jude’s Children Hospital. The same average American who volunteers on a soup line or at a Senior Citizens Home.

Yes, President Putin, you have played our President and our Administration like a Stradivarius, pulling their strings like Gepetto pulled Pinocchio’s.

It doesn’t matter. They are professional political prevaricators. Men and women, whose ethics and morality change with the direction of the wind, and whose egos override their judgement…every time.

America is a Constitutional Republic. We are not ruled by a faceless all-powerful government. America’s politicians are OUR SERVANTS. “Average Joes”, like myself, are THEIR BOSSES. We can hire and fire them at our pleasure. You cannot understand this concept, because in your country, the Politburo ruled the Proletariat, until an American President, whom your leaders referred to as a “crazy cowboy”, told your president to “Tear down this wall!” and, that was the beginning of the end for the old Soviet Union.

And, yes, President Putin, God did create us all equal.

However, He blessed America.

Until He Comes,

In other ways, it seems like an eternity.

That horrible day was so surreal. It seemed to me like I was stuck in a nightmare.

Certainly this couldn’t be happening to us? We’re the greatest nation in the world.  Who in their right mind, would dare attack the United States of America? Who would be brazen enough to attack us, using instruments of our own design? Who would actually dare flying planes into the Twin Towers, a living symbol of American Prosperity?

For that matter,. who would fly a plane into the Pentagon? The Seat of Power behind our nation’s awesome Military, the finest collection of Fighting Men and Women on Earth?

Last year, America experienced a second tragedy. And, the difference in the way the current President and his Administration handled it, and the way that the previous Administration handled the original 9/11, was like night and day.

Shortly after Radical Muslims from al Qaeda murdered 4 Americans at the Benghazi, Libya U.S. Embassy Compound, it was reported by the British Newspaper, The Independent, that

American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.

The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the “safe house” in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed “safe”.

Some of the missing papers from the consulate are said to list names of Libyans who are working with Americans, putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups, while some of the other documents are said to relate to oil contracts.

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and “lockdown”, under which movement is severely restricted.

Mr Stevens had been on a visit to Germany, Austria and Sweden and had just returned to Libya when the Benghazi trip took place with the US embassy’s security staff deciding that the trip could be undertaken safely.

Eight Americans, some from the military, were wounded in the attack which claimed the lives of Mr Stevens, Sean Smith, an information officer, and two US Marines. All staff from Benghazi have now been moved to the capital, Tripoli, and those whose work is deemed to be non-essential may be flown out of Libya.

From there, the pro-Muslim Spin, and out-and-out lies by Obama and his Administration rapidly spun out of control, until Obama himself, appeared in front of the UN, insisting that an unwatched youtube.com video, had been responsible for the horrific scene in Benghazi, rather than admit that it was al Qaeda, and accept responsibility for the lack of security at the Compound.

And now, on this anniversary of these horrific events in the life of the greatest country on God’s green Earth, we find the “land of the pilgrims’ pride” in danger and diminished by a feckless, sniveling, Pee Wee Herman impersonating, didactic former visiting lecturer and present empty suit, taking up space in the Oval Office, who gave a 15 minute speech last night on an international situation which he caused, in which he took credit for things which he had no hand in.

The very hubris of Obama overwhelmed the TV screen last night, as  he sought to lecture and shame Americans into supporting his clandestine mission to remove Syria’s President Assad from power and replace him with the Syrian Rebels, led by the self-same Radical Muslims who killed 3,000 Americans 12 years ago.

His ineptitude in handling the whole Syria Situation has been such an embarrassment, that even his own fundraising lackeys, Organizing for America, will not support him and his desire for an “unbelievably small” war with Syria.

The Emperor has no clothes and the clothes have no Emperor.

In conclusion I ask you to pray today.

Pray for our Embassies around the world, for the world has now realized what a feckless disaster of a President that America is stuck with.

Pray for our Brightest and Best, as they protect us and our nation with their very lives, around the world.

Pray for those left behind, on both 9/11/01 and 9/11/12, that God will grant them peace.

And, finally pray for our nation, that we survive this Anti-American President.

The Syria Situation: A Faux Pas or Escape Clause?

Obama-Shrinks-2Yesterday was an interesting day. It started out with  Sec. of State John (I served in Vietnam) Kerry, putting his foot in his foot in his mouth.

Kerry was speaking on Monday alongside the UK foreign secretary, William Hague, who was forced to deny that he had been pushed to the sidelines by the House of Commons decision 10 days ago to reject the use of UK force in Syria.

The US Senate is due to vote this week on whether to approve an attack and Kerry was ambivalent over whether Barack Obama would use his powers to ignore the legislative chamber, if it were to reject an attack.

The US state department stressed that Kerry was making a rhetorical argument about the one-week deadline and unlikelihood of Assad turning over Syria’s chemical weapons stockpile. In a statement, the department added: “His point was that this brutal dictator with a history of playing fast and loose with the facts cannot be trusted to turn over chemical weapons, otherwise he would have done so long ago. That’s why the world faces this moment.”

Kerry said the US had tracked the Syrian chemical weapons stock for many years, adding that it “was controlled in a very tight manner by the Assad regime … Bashar al-Assad and his brother Maher al-Assad, and a general are the three people that have the control over the movement and use of chemical weapons.

“But under any circumstances, the Assad regime is the Assad regime, and the regime issues orders, and we have regime members giving these instructions and engaging in these preparations with results going directly to President Assad.

“We are aware of that so we have no issue here about responsibility. They have a very threatening level of stocks remaining.”

Kerry said Assad might avoid an attack if he handed every bit of his chemical weapons stock, but added that the Syrian president was not going to do that. He warned that if other nations were not prepared to act on the issue of chemical weapons, “you are giving people complete licence to do whatever they want and to feel so they can do with impunity”.

Kerry said the Americans were planning an “unbelievably small” attack on Syria. “We will be able to hold Bashar al-Assad accountable without engaging in troops on the ground or any other prolonged kind of effort in a very limited, very targeted, short-term effort that degrades his capacity to deliver chemical weapons without assuming responsibility for Syria’s civil war. That is exactly what we are talking about doing – unbelievably small, limited kind of effort.”

By mid-morning yesterday, Russian President Putin had taken ol’ Horseface up on his magnanimous offer:

Russia and Syria embraced Secretary of State John F. Kerry’s suggestion Monday that the Syrian government could avert a U.S. attack by placing its chemical weapons under international control, upending the Obama administration’s efforts to sharpen its case for military action.

U.S. officials said Kerry’s comment, made in response to a question at a news conference in London, was not intended to be a diplomatic opening. But Kerry’s Russian and Syrian counterparts quickly followed up, and the idea drew immediate interest internationally and from top Democrats in Washington.

By the end of the day, President Obama conceded that the idea of monitoring and ultimately destroying Syria’s arsenal “could potentially be a significant breakthrough.” The Senate postponed a vote scheduled for Wednesday on whether to back a proposed punitive strike.

“I think you have to take it with a grain of salt, initially,” Obama said in an interview with NBC that was among several he gave Monday in pursuit of public backing for a military strike in response to an alleged Aug. 21 gas attack on Syrian civilians.

“We are going to run this to ground,” Obama said. “We’re going to make sure that we see how serious these proposals are.”

The President of these United States made the rounds of the news programs all day, as if he was running for another term in office, desperately trying to drum up support for getting America involved in the Syrian Civil War, on the side of al Qaeda. Here is an excerpt from an interview with Scott Pelley, Anchor of the CBS Evening News:

…I’m not looking for an excuse to engage in military action.

And I understand deeply how the American people, after a decade of war, are not interested in any kind of military action that they don’t believe involves our direct national security interests. I– I get that. And members of Congress I think understand that. But in this situation where there’s clear evidence that nobody credible around the world disputes that chemical weapons were used, that over a thousand people were killed, that the way that these weapons were delivered makes it almost certain that Assad’s forces used them, when even Iran has acknowledged that chemical weapons were used inside of Syria.

In that situation, I think the issue is not the evidence — most people around the world are not questioning that chemical weapons were used. I think the question now is what– how does the– how does the international community respond. And I think it is important for us to run to ground every diplomatic channel that we can. There’s a reason why I went to Congress in part to allow further deliberation, not just here domestically but also internationally.

But I think it’s very important for us to make sure that we understand this is important. And if the American people– are not prepared to stand up for what is a really important international norm, then I think a lot of people around the world will take that signal — that this norm is not important.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Yeah, well, not yet. And I, as I said, I understand that. So I’ll have a chance to talk to the American people directly tomorrow. I don’t expect that it’s gonna suddenly swing the polls wildly in the direction of another military engagement. If you ask the average person — including my household — “Do we need another military engagement?” I think the answer generally is gonna be no.

But what I’m gonna try to propose is, is that we have a very specific objective, a very narrow military option, and one that will not lead into some large-scale invasion of Syria or involvement or boots on the ground, nothing like that. This isn’t like Iraq, it’s not like Afghanistan, it’s not even like Libya. Then hopefully people will recognize why I think this is so important.

And that we should all be haunted by those images of those children that were killed. But more importantly, we should understand that when we start saying it’s okay to — or at least that there’s no response to the gassing of children, that’s the kind of slippery slope that leads eventually to these chemical weapons being used more broadly around the world. That’s not the kind of world that we want to leave to our children.

Dear Lord. So, swinging the balance of power in Syria toward the al Qaeda-infiltrated “Rebels” is what is best “for the children”?

Not to be crass, Obama, but why didn’t you just show pictures behind you of those babies’ corpses, while you were speaking?

You wonder why we, the American people, are not supporting you? It’s garbage like that, right there.

You are a wannabe. That’s all you ever have been.

You were a wannabe Muslim (still are), “playing on the streets of Jakarta”.

You were a wannabe “cool kid”, hanging out with the Choom Gang, toking up to hide your own insecurities.

You were a wannabe “foreign student”, from all accounts, identifying yourself as such, so you could get a free ride in college.

You were a wannabe Law Review Editor at Hahvahd, never writing a single thing.

You were a wannabe Community Organizer, who sought out the local religious leaders, like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who used their calls for “Social Justice” to hide the fact that they were Marxist, just like you.

You were a wannabe Illinois State Senator, who voted present on everything, except for passing a bill to murder babies, still in their mothers’ wombs, in the third trimester.

You were a wannabe U.S. Senator, who opposed President Bush, every chance he got, still trying to hang out with the “cool Kids”, all those years later.

And now, you are a wannabe President of the United States, lacking the leadership and administrative abilities necessary for the post of Leader of the Free World.

You think that Presidentin’ is all about campaigning. And , then you wonder why you are referred to as an “empty suit”.

Tonight, you are going to speak to us, the American People, finally, from your Ivory Tower at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, which used to be “The People’s House”, until you banned us from visiting it, using the “sequester” as an excuse.

An excuse which did not apply to your friends, the Muslim Brotherhood.

If you expect to gain any backing, after your platitudes tonight, for your Syrian Intervention, Obama, you are sorely mistaken.

The well-known Christian American Author, John C. Maxwell, wrote,

Leaders must be close enough to relate to others, but far enough ahead to motivate them.

You are neither.

The Syria Situation: Are We “On the Eve of Destruction”?

atomic blastDon’t you understand what I’’m tryin’ to say

Can’t you feel the fears I’’m feelin’ today?

If the button is pushed, there’s no runnin’ away

There’’ll be no one to save, with the world in a grave

[Take a look around ya boy, it’s bound to scare ya boy]

And you tell me

Over and over and over again, my friend

Ah, you don’t believe

We’re on the eve

Of destruction.

– “Eve of Destruction” Barry McGuire

I know that every generation since my parents’, the Greatest Generation, have had to live with the specter of nuclear annihilation hanging over their heads.

It has been a fact of life.

I even remember the old “Duck and Cover” movies, which they showed to school children. Those movies advised kids to get under their desk in the event of a nuclear attack by a foreign power.

Also, when I was young, I remember having the stew scared out of me by a low budget movie titled “This is Not a Test”. It concerned a Sheriff’s Deputy, out on a highway stopping people and herding them into a tractor trailer, because a bunch of nuclear warheads were on their way.

Then, of course, there was “The Day After” a made-for-TV movie starring the late, great Jason Robards and Police Academy’s Steve Guttenberg.  Again, this movie was about a nuclear attack and it’s aftermath.

All these images had an impact on me as I got older.

Now, the Republican Senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham, is trying to instill that same fear into all of us, over the Syria situation

“I don’t want another Iraq or Afghanistan war because that’s just not what we need to do,” he said, before outlining his support for a contained military strike designed to degrade Syria’s ability to deliver chemical weapons in the future and assist those who want to overthrow President Bashar Assad.

But Graham has heard the counterarguments. He knows many are skeptical that replacing Assad would install leadership that’s any more favorable to U.S. interests, even in the military friendly Palmetto State. In fact, a common refrain across the country is that the alternative could be far worse.

“Rebel opposition forces are our sworn enemies. We’ve spent billions of dollars in one country trying to wipe them off the face of the planet al-Qaida. And yet we employ the strategy of funding them and giving them weapons in Syria to get Assad?” asked Jesse Graston, who traveled nearly three hours from Rock Hill, S.C., and forked over the $12 in order to corner the senator.

Facing that strain of skepticism, Graham wound up his case on Syria intervention by raising the stakes considerably. He painted a frightening picture of cascading world events that would reverberate far beyond the borders of a civil war in one Middle Eastern country.

If the United States doesn’t deal with Syria, Graham promised Iran would acquire a nuclear weapon by 2014, the King of Jordan would be deposed and Israel would start preparing to protect itself.

“I believe that if we get Syria wrong, within six months — and you can quote me on this,” Graham said, pausing for dramatic effect. “There will be a war between Iran and Israel over their nuclear program.”

But it wouldn’t even end there, Graham surmised. Undoubtedly, he said ominously, the Iranians would share its nuclear technology with U.S. enemies.

“My fear is that it won’t come to America on top of a missile, it’ll come in the belly of a ship in the Charleston or New York harbor,” he said.

And now, for the first time in my 54 years, I am afraid of the President of the United States.

I am afraid that Barack Hussein Obama is leading us straight into World War III.

Lt. Col. Allen West, is as concerned as I am…

When you study history and understand the series of uncontrollable events that began WW I, we find ourselves not too far from that position now. It’s not just about taking military action against Assad (which in the press conference Obama seemed reticent about), it is about the unintended consequences. President Putin has vowed to continue arms shipments and support, and Iran is issuing orders to its Islamic terrorist dogs for release. The window of opportunity for a quick’ decisive response against Assad has closed. We cannot afford to destabilize another Middle Eastern country in favor of Islamists and establish terrorist sanctuaries. My recommendation? Instead of President Obama delivering a weak’ politically-scripted speech on Tuesday, read “The Guns of August” and learn something about leadership and strategic policymaking.

Growing up, my generation was always told that it only takes one weak, vacillating person in power, who hates America, pressing a button, to bring about total annihilation.

We just never dreamed that it could be the President of the United States.

The Syria Situation: Time to Put “The Maverick” Out to Pasture

McCainObamaJohn McCain, the Republican Party’s ill-advised 2008 Presidential Candidate, has become the Poster Boy for Senility.

As America stands on the precipice of Word War III, “Maverick” is prancing around like a show pony, for President Barack Hussein Obama, and an all-too-willing dhimmi for the Muslim Brotherhood and their off-shoot, al Qaeda.

Yesterday morning, Senator McCain made the suggestion that Fox and Friend’s Brian Kilmeade was Islamophobic. Kilmeade had informed McCain that Radical Islamists had shouted “Allahu Akbar” as their rockets hit government offices in Syria.

“I have a problem helping those people screaming that after a hit,” Kilmeade said. McCain responded: “Would you have a problem with an American or Christians saying ‘thank God? Thank God?’” He added, “That’s what they’re saying. Come on! Of course they’re Muslims, but they’re moderates and I guarantee you they are moderates.” McCain provided no evidence to suggest that Syrian opposition groups are moderate, as opposed to the wide swath of evidence suggesting that the opposition is heavily infested with al Qaeda.

Al Qaeda…Moderates? Are you kiddin’ .me?

Per pjmedia.com…

One of the English translators of the great 14th century Muslim jurist (d. 1350) Ibn Qayyim’s “The Way to Patience and Gratitude” opts for “Allah is Greater” as the specific translation of Allahu Akbar. On page 463, the following explanation is provided:

…I preferred using “the Greater” to “the Greatest”… Allahu Akbar literally means, “Allah is Greater” with the comparative mode. Yet, this does not mean that He (Glory be to Him) is not the Greatest, nor does it mean that there is anything that is put in comparison with Him. This is because when the Muslim says it, he means He is “Greater” than anything else, which, consequently, means He is the Greatest. This use gives more influence. This may be why it is used in Arabic this way, otherwise it should have been used as “Allahu al-Akbar”, in the superlative mode. Surely, Allah Knows best.

“Allahu Akbar” is heard every time a Muslim Terrorist commits an act of violence.

After 9/11, the FBI released a letter reportedly handwritten by the hijackers and found in three separate copies on 9/11—at Dulles, at the Pennsylvania crash site, and in Mohamed Atta’s suitcase. It included a checklist of final reminders for the 9/11 hijackers. An excerpt reads: “When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.”

When in March 2002 Maryam Mohammad Yousif Farhat of Hamas, popularized as “Umm Nidal” (and subsequently elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council) learned that her 17-year-old son had been killed on a suicide mission in which he killed five teenagers, she celebrated by proclaiming “Allahu Akbar!” and giving out boxes of halva and chocolates. In 2003, when Imam Samudra became the second Bali bomber from a violent Islamist group to be sentenced to death for his role in the 2002 Bali bombings that killed 202 people, Samudra greeted his sentence with chants of “Allahu Akbar”.

In 2004, in an execution video of Nick Berg being beheaded in Iraq, as one man sawed off Berg’s head the other captors shouted: “Allahu Akbar!”. And in the 2007 Fort Dix attack plot, a group of radical Islamists who were convicted of plotting an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey had videotaped themselves shooting weapons and shouting Allahu Akbar. In 2008, Aafia Siddiqui yelled “Allah Akbar” as she allegedly fired at U.S. interrogators.

During the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, witnesses reported that gunman Nidal Malik Hasan shouted “Allahu Akbar” before opening fire, killing 13 people and wounding 30 others. And Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad smiled and said “Allahu Akbar” after receiving a life sentence in 2010 for his attempted bombing.

During the incident aboard American Airlines Flight 1561, the person attempting to bash his way into the cockpit was heard shouting “Allahu Akbar”. Mohammed Merah recorded himself shouting Allahu Akbar as he killed three French paratroopers in the 2012 Midi-Pyrénées shootings.

Senator, you sure don’t hear Christians running around screaming “Thank God!” as they are blowing themselves up and killing people, do you?

I know that you had a long day yesterday, Maverick, but shouldn’t you have been paying attention to the Senate Hearings concerning  going to war, err. I mean having a “limited engagement” with Syria? I mean, after all, that’s your job, isn’t it?

Senility is a horrible thing.

Why on earth are you supporting intervening in Syria, on behalf of a bunch of Muslim Terrorists, John?

Perhaps…you are just repaying them for their support.

Back in 2008, the BBC reported that

Supporters of al-Qaeda have said they would prefer Republican candidate John McCain to win the US election because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In a message broadcast on the password-protected al-Hesbah site, the group said they would also welcome a pre-election terror attack on the US because that would make a McCain win more likely.

In an endorsement that will not be welcomed by Mr McCain’s flagging campaign, the group said that if al-Qaeda wants to exhaust the US, militarily and economically, the “impetuous” Republican presidential candidate is the better choice.

“This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier,” the message said.

“Then, al-Qaeda will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush.”

“If al-Qaeda carries out a big operation against American interests,” it said, “this act will be support of McCain because it will push the Americans deliberately to vote for McCain so that he takes revenge for them against al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda then will succeed in exhausting America till its last year in it.”

Mark Salter, a senior McCain adviser, had no immediate comment.

As an official “Wacko Bird”, i.e., Conservative, I would like to say that Progressive Republicans, like John McCain, and his pet dog, Lindsey Graham, are one of the reasons that Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) is the President of these United States.

Not only are Progressive Republicans, like “The Sunshine Boys”, and Obama’s golfing buddy, Cryin’ John Boehner, weak and ineffectual, if they had any tes…err…intestinal fortitude whatsoever, that would be jumping on America’s scandal-ridden Administration with both feet. Instead, they’re acting like the wussified Country Club Elite that they are…whether they are reaching across the aisle to intervene on behalf of these Syrian [al Qaeda] Rebels or trying to pass “Immigration Reform”, which will do nothing but add new Democratic Voters to the rolls.

It’s getting more and more difficult to tell the Republican Leadership from the Democratic Leadership.

Straight talk, from Conservative American Leaders like Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, and Lt. Col. Allen West, is what America needs to hear, not rhetoric about “America’s responsibility to bomb Assad”, “sharing the wealth” or “social justice”. And, we especially do not need for Vichy Republicans like Juan McAmnesty to continue sucking up to our enemies, foreign and domestic.

The resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC is doing more than enough of that, all by himself.

The Syria Situation: Tyrants and Turncoats and RINOs…Oh, My!

kerryassaddinnerMay I ask you something? If somebody is a tyrant and a dictator who hates your country with a passion,, and you were a sitting United States Senator, would you be having a “couples dinner” with him?

Well, back in 2011, as this picture which I have posted shows, that is exactly what our present Secretary of State John F. (I served in Vietnam) Kerry, did.

In fact, later in 2011, speaking at a think tank, Kerry said,

Well, I personally believe that — I mean, this is my belief, okay? But President Assad has been very generous with me in terms of the discussions we have had. And when I last went to — the last several trips to Syria — I asked President Assad to do certain things to build the relationship with the United States and sort of show the good faith that would help us to move the process forward.

The thing is, Kerry, by 2011, had a well-established history with Syrian President Assad, per David Horowitz’s discoverthenetworks.org…

Since the early 2000s, Kerry has been the federal government’s highest-ranking apologist for Syrian President Bashar Assad. Indeed it was Kerry who made numerous efforts to undermine the Bush administration’s attempt to isolate the Syrian dictator after its courtship of him ended in failure in 2003; after Bush repeatedly accused Syria of supporting terrorists in Iraq and elsewhere; and after the United States withdrew its ambassador to Syria following the 2005 assassination of Lebanon’s former premier Rafiq Hariri in a car bombing most likely orchestrated by the Assad regime.

In January 2009, just days after Barack Obama’s inauguration, Kerry was sent to Syria as part of a policy review by an Obama administration looking to establish new relationships with countries the Bush administration had considered hostile. (This was the first of five trips Kerry would make to Syria between 2009 and 2011.)

During the January 2009 trip, Kerry listened to Bashar Assad advise him that Washington must “move away from a policy based on dictating decisions,” and that future relations between the U.S. and Syria should be based on a “proper understanding” by Washington of Middle East issues and interests. In return, Kerry used the occasion to bash the former administration. “Unlike the Bush administration that believed you could simply tell people what to do and walk away and wait for them to do it, we believe you have to engage in a discussion,” he said.

A year later, Kerry, as the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, sat down once again with Assad. “Syria is an essential player in bringing peace and stability to the region,” he said in April 2010. “Both the United States and Syria have a very deep interest … in having a very frank exchange on any differences [and] agreements that we have about the possibilities of peace in this region.” And once again, he called on Syria to stop supplying weapons to Hezbollah.

In November 2010, disclosures of diplomatic cables by the WikiLeaks website revealed that Kerry had been busy undermining Israel as well: He had told leaders in Qatar that the Golan Heights should be returned to Syria, and that the capital of a Palestinian state should be established in East Jerusalem, as part of the “peace process.”

Now, in 2013, just last week, in the nationally-televised speech his boss did not have the nerve to make, Secretary of State, John Kerry, said,

In an increasingly complicated world of sectarian and religious extremist violence, what we choose to do — or not do — matters in real ways to our own security. Some cite the risk of doing things. We need to ask what is the risk of doing nothing.

It matters because if we choose to live in a world where a thug and a murderer like Bashar al-Assad can gas thousands of his own people with impunity, even after the United States and our allies said no, and then the world does nothing about it, there will be no end to the test of our resolve and the dangers that will flow from those others who believe that they can do as they will.

President Barack Hussein Obama and SOS John Kerry are playing a very dangerous game. Obama met with Senate RINO’s John “Juan McAmnesty” McCain, and his pet dog, Lindsey “Tiddie” Graham, trying to convince them to, once again, betray their party, and their nation.

The “Sunshine Boys” held a press conference after the meeting. Lt. Col. Allen West was watching, and made this observation:

Watched Senators McCain and Graham’s press conference after their meeting with President Obama on the subject of Syria. It seems the tagline to be used is ‘degrade Assad and upgrade the resistance.’ I hate to be the one to ruin the party, but this administration did exactly that in Libya and never considered the unintended consequences. Now in Libya we have a proliferation of Islamist forces who are training terrorist insurgents to head to Syria, supported by the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda, as well as a consulate attack resulting in the death of four Americans, one being an Ambassador. In Egypt we ‘deposed’ Mubarak and enabled the Muslim Brotherhood and the unintended consequences are a civil war in Egypt and increased persecution of the Coptic Christians. So here we go again with the Obama administration, and useful tools from Congress, embarking America on a nebulous endeavor in the Middle East without consideration of the untended consequences. The opposition in Syria are Islamists supported by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and Al Qaeda, and the Muslim Brotherhood. The Obama administration has not supported the Free Syrian Army under COL Riad. NO, to any US military action in Syria. The Obama administration has a confused Middle East policy and has shown ineptness in understanding the second and third order effects.

Indeed.

As I have written before, I believe that Obama has made promises to the Muslim Brotherhood and its off-shoots like al-Qaeda. And, as we all know, he certainly doesn’t care what happens to Israel.

As for Juan the Maverick and his faithful dog, Tiddie, they are two full of their own self-importance and superior intellect, like the rest of the GOP Moderate Elite are, to realize that they are putting our entire nation at risk.

Dr. Charles Krauthammer called this while situation “Amateur Hour”.

Given the fact that there is plenty of amateurish behavior to go around, I would say that it is more like “The Gong Show”.

And, we desperately need Jaye P. Morgan to ring the Gong.
