Dems Upset That NYPD Union Endorses Trump…Actions Have Consequences

NYPD de Blasio

De Blasio, AOC, and their fellow Democrats are so corrupt and power-hungry, that they are sacrificing the safety of New Yorkers in order to cause chaos and unrest by defunding and demeaning the NYPD and other police departments across the country, moves which they hope will provide them leverage in order to win the Presidency and to usher in Democratic Socialism.

Guess what? The police are fighting back.

FoxNews.com reports that

The New York Police Department (NYPD) union faced blowback from local Democrats after it endorsed President Trump’s reelection amid budget cuts and tensions between police and city lawmakers.

On Friday night, Trump spoke to members of the New York City Police Benevolent Association (PBA), an organization that represents 24,000 officers, at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J. Trump was formally endorsed by the group.

PBA President Pat Lynch said it was the first time he could recall the group ever endorsing a president.

“I have 36 years on this job, 21 as the president of this fine organization. I cannot remember when we’ve ever endorsed for Office of the President of the United States, until now. That’s how important this is,” Lynch said.

“Many times people say that a union like ours, law enforcement groups, give endorsements. Not in the New York City PBA, sir,” Lynch continued. “In the New York City PBA, Mr. President, you earn the endorsement and you’ve earned this endorsement. I’m proud to give it.”

“I’ve admired you my whole life, watched you do a job like nobody else, nobody else done it. Best of the best and I’m grateful happy you’re here,” the president said to the group of officers in attendance.

He mentioned his brother, Robert, who he visited in a New York City hospital Friday. “He’s having a hard time, but he respected you like I respect you.”

He again repeated his law-and-order message, telling the crowd “No one will be safe in Biden’s America.”

“This guy has been taking your dignity away and your respect,” Trump said of former Vice President Joe Biden. “And I’m telling you on Nov. 3 you’re going to be getting it back.”

New York Democrats said the police union’s endorsement of such a highly unpopular politician within the city was exacerbating tensions between them and the community.

“NYPD union endorsed Trump. I’m sure this is part of their neighborhood outreach plan,” tweeted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose district spans the Bronx and Queens.

“Also, does anyone else see a potential problem with police unions – enforcement arms of the state with lethal weapons – promoting “preferred” candidates for office or is that just me?” she added.

“I’m speechless. NYC is a beautifully diverse, working class, democratic city. The NYPD is clearly showing they are not interested in working with the people of our city,” tweeted Jamaal Bowman, a progressive newcomer who overthrew longtime Rep. Elliot Engel in a June primary.

“This explains their continued aggression against innocent people. It’s time for dramatic change,” he said.

New York City cops have faced a campaign against them in the wake of police brutality protests following the death of George Floyd.

As New York politicians cut $1 billion from the police budget among other police reforms, crime has spiked throughout the city. In July 2020, there were 244 shootings in New York, a 177 percent increase from the 88 which occurred last July.

Crimes such as murder, burglary and grand larceny auto also rose, but crimes such as rape, robbery and assault fell.

Meanwhile, Mayor Bill de Blasio and the city council recently barred officers from using chokeholds and other forms of restraint to detain suspects.

At the same time, state lawmakers passed a law to publicly disclose the disciplinary records of police officers accused of misconduct.

On July 31, Lynch met with the president at the White House to discuss the crime problem.

“In our city, we’re going through a difficult time. We have a progressive mayor that’s anti-police; the city council that’s anti-police; and the statehouse is anti-police. So they’re changing the law where it’s becoming impossible to do our job,” Lynch told the president, as reported by the New York Post.

“And remember what our job is: to keep folks safe. You do that by helping the good people, going after the bad people. They’re stopping us from doing that.”

Now, let me get this straight.

The local Democrat politicians, including Commie Mayor Bill de Blasio treat the NYPD like THEY are the thugs, defunding and treating them like garbage, and then the Dems have the nerve to act surprised when they endorse President Trump?

Their arrogance knows no bounds.

the Far Left Democratsz, his handlers have made a huge mistake by not “Backing the Blue”.

The overwhelming majority of American citizens support the police and sheriff’s departments within their municipalities and counties.

These same Americans, living between the coasts, are the ones Hillary Clinton referred to as “Deplorables”.

And, these are the Americans who elected Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America.

Average Americans are very aware as to what the Democrats are doing by championing the “Defund the Police” movement….they are pandering to special interest groups while clearing another obstacle in their path to radically changing America into a Marxist nation.

There is nothing at all altruistic in the Democrats attempting to defund the police.

If you will notice, Democrat politicians, both local and national, either live in a gated community or hire private security for themselves.

They are not shy about protecting themselves.

They don’t care about average Americans, though.

Back in July, the National Association of Police Organizations endorsed President Trump for reelection

Their bowing down to the Radical Left has now cost Joe Biden and the Democrat Party the support of those who keep us safe.

The Great American Broadcaster, the late Paul Harvey, was the son of a policeman who died in the line of duty. He wrote the following tribute for one of his daily updates…

“What is a policeman?

“A policeman is a composite of what all men are, I guess, a mingling of saint and sinner, dust and deity. What that really means is that they are exceptional, they are unusual. They are not commonplace. Buried under the froth is the fact, the fact is that less than one half of one percent of policeman misfit that uniform, and that is a better average than you’d find among clergymen.

“He of all men is at once the most needed, and the most wanted, a strangely nameless creature who is sir to his face and pig or worse behind his back. He must be such a diplomat that he can settle differences between individuals so that each will think he won, but, if a policeman is neat, he’s conceited, if he’s careless he’s a bum, if he’s pleasant, he’s a flirt, if he’s not, he’s a grouch.

“He must make instant decisions that would require months for a lawyer but if he hurries he’s careless, if he’s deliberate, he’s lazy. He must be first to an accident, infallible with diagnoses. He must be able to start breathing, stop bleeding, tie splints and above all, be sure the victim goes home without a limp.

“The police officer must know every gun, draw on the run and hit where it doesn’t hurt.

“He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform, and without being brutal. If you hit him he’s a coward, if he hits you, he’s a bully. The policeman from a single human hair must be able to describe the crime, the weapon the criminal, and tell you where the criminal is hiding but, if he catches the criminal he’s lucky, if he doesn’t he’s a dunce.

“He runs files and writes reports until his eyes ache to build a case against some felon who will get dealt out by some shameless shamus. The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy, and a gentle man. And of course, he’ll have to be a genius, because he’ll have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.”

The Democrats are a bunch of ungrateful arrogant fools.

Back the Blue.

AOC Says NYC Crime Surge Because Unemployed “Need to Shoplift Some Bread or Go Hungry”…Yes, Really

Committee on Oversight and Reform Contempt Markup

FoxNews.com reports that

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggested over the weekend that the crime surge in New York City is likely because struggling residents are forced to shoplift in order to “feed their child.”

In a virtual town hall meeting she hosted Thursday, some clips of which were shared by The Hill, the 30-year-old Democratic congresswoman was asked about the troubling uptick in violent crimes overtaking the city.

“Do we think this has to do with the fact that there’s record unemployment in the United States right now?” she responded. “The fact that people are at a level of economic desperation that we have not seen since the Great Recession?”

“Maybe this has to do with the fact that people aren’t paying their rent and are scared to pay their rent and so they go out, and they need to feed their child and they don’t have money,” Ocasio-Cortez continued, “so they feel like they either need to shoplift some bread or go hungry.”

The New York Police Department (NYPD) has reported a staggering increase in shootings and violent crimes in recent weeks, as officials warn there’s “a storm on the horizon” amid calls for changes.

On Saturday, the New York Post reported 15 shootings in 15 hours, just one week after the city saw a bloody July Fourth weekend with 44 shootings and at least eight killed.

The congresswoman and vocal supporter of the “defund police” movement insisted, however, that the crime spike is unrelated to the $1 billion NYPD budget cuts announced by Mayor Bill de Blasio, which have not yet taken effect, she claimed.

The New York Democrat recently spoke out against the budget cuts, arguing that they don’t go far enough to entirely defund the department, and accused de Blasio of using “budget tricks” and “funny math” in the calculation.

When asked later to comment on the issue, the congresswoman told viewers: “When people ask me ‘What does a world where we defund the police look like?’, I tell them it looks like a suburb.”

Oh, Dear Lord.

This woman is completely oblivious to her own stupidity.

New York City is experiencing an crime surge because Communist Mayor Bill de Blasio, the city council, and Far Left Democrats like AOC are encouraging criminals to break the law.

Does AOC really believe that if New York City had no police  presence at all it would look like a “suburb”?

Does she actually believe that it is the “poor unemployed” stealing food to avoid going hungry that is the cause of the uptick in crime?

The weekly amount given to Unemployment Recipients in New York City is $405 per week.

As part of the Coronavirus Stimulus Package, unemployed Americans have been receiving an extra $600 per week on top of their regular unemployment check.

That means that unemployed New Yorkers have been making $4,020 per month!

That much money will allow you to pay your rent and feed your family…even in New York City.

So no, Congresswoman…the uptick in crime in the Big Apple is not due to hungry citizens.

It is due to the lack of policemen and policewomen patrolling the city due to you and your fellow Democrat’s putting the city in danger for the sake of political expediency.

What do I mean by that?

I mean that you and your fellow Democrats are so corrupt and power-hungry, that you are sacrificing the safety of Americans in order to cause chaos and unrest, which you hope to leverage in order to win the Presidency and to usher in Democratic Socialism.

Then, all of you will make yourselves appear to be benevolent and then, just like the Soviet Politboro, you will line your pockets on the hard work of the Proletariat (average Americans).

However, because you political vultures all live in a bubble, you have made a huge mistake.

You have no idea how average Americans feel about your stupid “Defund The Police” conspiracy.

You also believe the 2020 Presidential Election Polls.

That’s fine. Keep on overestimating your own intelligence and underestimating average Americans.

By the way, how is President Hillary Clinton doing these days?

DeBlasio Vs. the NYPD Continues

AFBrancoDeBlasio12282014On Saturday, 28,000 Law Enforcement Officers come to New York City to honor…and bury…one of their own.  While there, New York’s Men in Blue let their feelings be known, once again, concerning current Mayor Bill DeBlasio.

The New York Post reported yesterday that

Thousands of NYPD cops turned their backs on Mayor de Blasio on Sunday outside a Brooklyn funeral home as he eulogized a murdered NYPD officer inside.

As de Blasio addressed the loved ones of Detective Wenjian Liu in the Aievoli Funeral Home in Bensonhurst, the sea of blue watching the funeral on huge TV screens outside showed their disgust for Hizzoner by turning around as he spoke.

Cops have been furious with de Blasio mainly since the grand-jury rulings involving the deaths of Staten Island dad Eric Garner and Missouri teen Michael Brown, two unarmed black men who died during confrontations with white cops. Neither cop was criminally charged.

The mayor said afterward that he worries about how his son, Dante, who is half-black, might be treated by police because of his race.

The cops say de Blasio’s comment is just another instance in which he has added to the anti-cop sentiment in the city.

Liu and Officer Rafael Ramos were sitting in their patrol car in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Dec. 20 when deranged, cop-hating killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley came up from behind to execute them. Brinsley committed suicide before cops could catch him.

Officers first turned their backs to de Blasio when he visited the hospital where Ramos and Liu were treated. They then also turned turned their backs to him outside the church where Ramos’ funeral was held Dec. 27.

NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton asked officers not to repeat that silent protest at Liu’s funeral Sunday.

There’s more to the story than that…

On Dec. 2, 2914, The New York Post reported that

… De Blasio and the race-baiting Rev met withPresident Obama and other clergy, cops and pols Monday about “simmering” tensions between the police and minorities across the United States.

Sharpton, a White House regular under Obama, got a prime seat at the table — directly facing the president — during the two-hour session at the Eisenhower Office Building.

Hizzoner, meanwhile, got a seat farther away from Obama.

…Sharpton’s police power play began over the summer at an event at City Hall dealing with the chokehold death of Eric Garner, where he humiliated de Blasio and NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton by lecturing them on the department’s supposed ills.

“If Dante wasn’t your son, he’d be a candidate for a chokehold. And we’ve got to deal with that reality,” Sharpton said at the time, referring to Hizzoner’s biracial son.

At the Monday meeting, Dante’s name came up again — this time from Obama.

“The president referred to when he met my son, Dante. Well, I can tell you I think every night about my son, making sure he comes home safely . . . We have to make sure all our children are safe, living in justice,” de Blasio said.

The August killing of unarmed black teenMichael Brown by white Police OfficerDarren Wilson in Ferguson, Mo., prompted Monday’s meeting — but Sharpton said he also mentioned Garner’s death.

Tensions have been rising across New York City as a grand jury nears a decision on whether to indict in the Garner case, but Sharpton refused on Monday to make predictions about any possible fallout from a ruling.

“I could not talk about aftermath when I don’t know what the decision is,” he told The Post.

The issue of leveling government “sanctions” at police departments that violate standards came up at the meeting, he said.

Sharpton had raised the issue after the Trayvon Martin shooting in Florida in 2012.

Participants said Obama didn’t state an opinion on the grand jury’s failure to indict Wilson.

Obama said the situation was emblematic of a larger issue.

“Ferguson laid bare a problem that is not unique to St. Louis, and that is a simmering distrust that exists between too many police departments and too many communities of color,” he said.

The White House also announced plans to outfit 50,000 cops nationwide with body cameras.

Officials proposed spending $75 million in 2015 to help local police buy the devices as part of a $263 million request by Congress to aid local law enforcement.

As I wrote last week, it’s a funny thing about that word “respect”. It works both ways.

When New York City’s Communist mayor, Bill DeBlasio, prissed around, preening and grandstanding for the cameras with Al Sharpton and the other race-baiters, taking their side in the protests over Brown and Gardner, he quite literally showed his backside to New York’s Finest.

Just as Obama has not seemed to figure out, yet, being a leader of a diverse group of citizens, means just that: leading all of them.

You’re not just a community organizer, anymore

You are actually part of the Establishment, meaning that you have to put your old anti-Establishment Ways in your toy chest with your childhood possessions.

It’s time to be a grown-up, and to know the difference between playtime and reality.

And, when it comes to the lives of two police officers, killed in the coldest of blood, while sitting in their patrol car, that is as real as it gets.

DeBlasio has yet to apologize for his comments and his actions.

Once again, he’s lucky that they just turned their backs on him at their fellow officer’s funeral, instead of giving him a mass one-finger salute.

But, these are Men of Honor, unlike Politicians.

DeBlasio is quickly undoing every good thing that Rudy Giuiliani accomplished as the Mayor of New York City.

It is truly sad that the Mayor of the Big Apple is such a worm.

DeBlasio Vs. the NYPD

AFBrancoDeBlasio12282014The New York City Police Department let their feelings about their City’s Mayor be known, loud and clear, once again, at the funeral of a fellow offer, shot down like a dog, while sitting in his patrol car.

The Washington Post reports that

…Brown and Garner’s killings sparked a nationwide protest movement and debate about the treatment of African Americans by law enforcement, with social-media slogans such as “Black lives matter” and “I can’t breathe,” Garner’s last words.

After “respecting First Amendment rights and handling false and abusive insults,” as Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (D) put it during his remarks at the funeral, it was police officers’ time to be heard.

And, in one tense gesture, seen.

Hundreds of officers watching the services outside Christ Tabernacle Church turned their backs on the screens when Mayor Bill de Blasio spoke. The mayor has been heavily criticized by New York police union officials, accused of causing a mood of mistrust that they say contributed to the killings of Ramos and Liu. Tensions between the mayor and police had already grown in recent months after de Blasio said he was worried about how police might treat his son, who is biracial.

Vice President Biden, who attended the funeral, promised that the “incredibly diverse city can and will show the nation how to bridge any divide.”

New York City Police Commissioner William J. Bratton called Ramos “a hero” and gave the officer and his partner posthumous promotions, which will boost the department’s financial benefits to their families. He had words of hope for a way forward.

“If we can learn to see each other,” Bratton said, “to see that our cops are people like Officer Ramos and Officer Liu, to see our communities filled with people like them, too — if we can learn to see each other, then when we see each other we’ll heal.”

Still, unease and uncertainty filled the air.

One man held a sign reading “God Bless the NYPD” and “Dump DeBlasio.”

A group of police spouses gathered and said the show of support was a sort of release after watching month after month of protests directed at police.

“You think about how people just hate your husband for what he does,” said Lisa, who wanted to give only her first name. She is also training to be a police officer, “because I want to protect and serve my city,” she said.

But she said she feels for the families of Brown and Garner, too.

“I was raised in the projects. I get it,” she said. “But I feel like the department and police generally are being blamed for racial problems that are much deeper.”

Ismaaiyl Brinsley, the man who police say shot Ramos and Liu as they sat in their patrol car before killing himself, had promised on social media to put “Wings On Pigs.”

He had vowed revenge over the police actions in Ferguson and Staten Island.

Funeral details for Liu have yet to be announced. Officials say it will be held when relatives arrive from China.

On CBS’ “Face The Nation” yesterday…

New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton said it was “very inappropriate” for officers to turn their backs on New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio at the funeral for slain NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos. It was the second time officers had done so since the slaying of two NYPD cops.

“That funeral was held to honor Officer Ramos, and to bring politics, to bring issues into that event I think was very inappropriate and I do not support it. He is the mayor of New York, he was there representing the citizens of New York to express their remorse and their regret at that death,” Bratton said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

“At the same time it is reflective unfortunately of the feelings of some of our officers at this juncture about not just the mayor but I think about some of the many issues that are afflicting the city at this time and this particular police department,” he added.

Tensions have been running high between DeBlasio and some of the city’s police officers since Ramos and another officer, Wenjian Liu, were shot and killed in their patrol car earlier this month. Police union officials blamed DeBlasio for their deaths, in part because of his public support for people protesting grand jury decisions not to indict police officers who had killed two black men, Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

Bratton defended DeBlasio, calling him “totally supportive of his personnel” and praising the city for investing hundreds of millions of dollars in additional training, equipment and technology to enhance officer safety.

“This is a mayor that cares very deeply about New York City police officers, cares very deeply about the divide in this city at this time and is working very hard to heal that divide,” Bratton said.

Still, he said that, “morale in the department at this time is low, there’s no getting around that.” He said it was due to a number of factors, including contract negotiations with the city as well as the national discussions about race and policing. He praised officers for showing “remarkable professional restraint when so much of the invective is directed directly against them, personally against them.”

You know, it’s a funny thing about that word “respect”.

DeBlasio needs to apologize for his comments and his actions.

He’s lucky that they just turned their backs on him, instead of giving him a mass one-finger salute.

But, these are Men of Honor, unlike Politicians.

Perhaps DeBlasio needs to watch “Blue Bloods” and get a clue.

Burying Heroes, Rioting for Criminals, and Glorifying the Darkness

AFBrancoFallen12272014A public servant, a father, and an everyday hero is being laid to rest today.

The local CBS Affiliate in New York City reports that

Thousands are gathering at a Queens church Saturday morning for the final farewell to slain NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos.

Mayor Bill de Blasio, Vice President Joe Biden and hundreds of police officers from the NYPD and all over the country are expected at the service set for at 10 a.m. at Christ Tabernacle Church in Glendale.

“He was my rock, a beacon of wisdom; he was my absolute best friend,” said Ramos’ son Justin Ramos.

Justin was in the middle of his sophomore year at Bowdoin College in Maine when his father was gunned down one week ago, CBS2’s Janelle Burrell reported.

As he spoke about the man his father was, Justin’s image was watched on a jumbotron by thousands waiting outside his father’s wake Friday night.

“My dad would have been there for everyone and to see so many people here for him is a testament to who he is as a person. It has been so helpful during this time,” Justin said.

The Ramos family leaning on that support, not only from friends, but countless officers, community members and even strangers.

For more than seven hours, a steady crowd of people offered their condolences.

Among the guests, de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who asked for continued support for the family, especially Ramos’ two sons.

And even in their pain, they managed a few smiles.

“I’ll keep this short and sweet, just like my brother,” said Ramos’ sister Cindy Ramos.

Ramos and NYPD Officer Wenjian Liu were killed as they sat in their patrol car on a Brooklyn street last Saturday. The shooter,Ismaaiyl Brinsley, later killed himself.

Investigators say Brinsley was an emotionally disturbed loner who started off his rampage by shooting an ex-girlfriend in Baltimore.

He also posted online threats to police and made references to Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

The killings ramped up emotions in the already tense national debate over police conduct.

Additionally,

Commissioner Bil Bratton visited a memorial to two fallen NYPD officers on Friday.

Commissioner Bratton worked his way down the line shaking hands with officers who were there, as the memorial continued to grow.

As CBS2’s Weijia Jiang reported, efforts were also underway to help the families of the two fallen heroes.

A 9/11 charity is working to help pay off the mortgages on the homes of the two NYPD officers who were ambushed and killed in Brooklyn.

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundationannounced Friday that it will be paying the mortgages in full for the families of Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.

The foundation made the announcement in Staten Island along with former Mayor Rudy Guiliani and Liu’s widow, Pei Xia Chen.

“We want to help lift them out of some of the despair that they’re in today,” said Chairman Frank Siller.

Chen is feeling a pain that Siller knows all too well. He lost his brother on 9/11.

Mortgages Of Fallen NYPD Cops To Be Paid In Full

Peter Haskell reports

play

So far, the foundation has raised $70,000 with a goal of $800,000. Giuliani said he was pledging $20,000 of his own money.

“They should be in a position where, so that for the rest of their lives, they never have to worry about material things,” Giuliani said. “It doesn’t bring back either one of these great men. But it does help.”

Governor Andrew Cuomo agreed. He stressed the importance of helping the families, not only emotionally, but practically too.

“Let’s respect the family. Let’s help the family grieve, find ways to help the family through this. Whether it’s financial support, education with kids, and then we’ll move forward with learning lessons,” the governor said.

Donations have been pouring in.

The Brooklyn Nets gave $10,000, the New York Yankees will pay for the education of Ramos’ sons. Even strangers have been opening their wallets.

“Seeing everyone pull together shows strength, and that you can pull through,” Andreana Simonelli said.

Earlier this week, Liu’s widow came out of their Gravesend, Brooklyn home and spoke tearfully about the road ahead and how loved ones and strangers are helping the family.

While this solemn ceremony to honor someone who gave his life in the service of others is going on, there will be Police Snipers lining the rooftops, in response to numerous threats to disrupt the church service.

How did we get here? Why do we have so many out there who are calling for “dead cops”, while protesting over the deaths of criminals?

By the time President Johnson came into office, after the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the majority of Americans totally believed that our government always had our best interest at heart.

President Johnson came into office and immediately started his push for the Great Society. These programs were designed to make Americans even more dependent on the Federal Government for their very survival.

As the Vietnam War grew more and more and unpopular, Americans’ trust in the government became more and more compromised.  Protests against the Federal Government became more and more common and it became cool to be a rebel or “hippie”.

Time passed, and while rebellious Americans calmed down, Americans’ dependence upon government programs became generational, as multiple family members from one generation to the next, relied on Uncle Sugar for their daily existence.

Meanwhile, the rebels of the 1960’s got older and began to work within the system, taking jobs within the private and public sectors.

Eventually, they moved into positions of power, becoming heads of corporations and local and national politicians.

It is not really necessary to tell you what the political ideology of these rebels was, is it?

As the last century ended and the new one began, these hippies and their offspring, solidly in place in the halls of power, began to pass more more legislation designed to keep generations of Americans enslaved to Uncle Sugar.

With the President of the United States and the Attorney General backing their efforts, the Professionally Perpetually Aggrieved” have been emboldened in their efforts to turn the deaths of two criminals into a “Cause de Celebre”, raising money and gaining face time on every news outlet stupid enough to give it to them.

So, why are the majority of Americans not buying this money-grubbing, disrespectful con job, seeking to turn two people with a history of breaking the law into some sort of “martyrs”?

Now you can call it genetics, you can call it socialization, you can call it the proper alignment of the moon and stars…I choose to call it the Grace of God.

It is a comforting old saying which states

There, but for the grace of God, go I.

We are given free will by our Creator will to make choices and decisions on the direction of our lives. Being human, we often don’t make the right decisions and being human, those decisions have the potential to lead us down a dark path.

Whether is in reality or strictly in the close quarters of our own consciousness, the path we choose to follow is up to us. However, our parents, family, and friends can make a difference in our journey and I thank God that through His Grace I was given a Father who made sure that I received loving instruction in The Way in which I should go.

We still live in the greatest country on the face of the earth and we still have a responsibility to one another.

The Light or the Darkness. The choice is up to each and every one of us.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:14 (ESV)
