Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and the Dissolution of the Black American Family Unit

Black Crime Statistics Fox News 12614I posted the above statistics, in an effort to share some truth with you, this morning.

As a lifelong (56 years young) resident of the Memphis area, I continue to witness the dissolution of the once strong and proud Black American Family Unit.

I am also, as are most of you, bearing witness to Black and White Liberal Politicians making excuses for the out-of-control, self-inflicted genocide of 13% of America’s Population. as they blame it on “Racial Inequality”, while a Black Man sits behind a desk in the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, holding the most powerful leadership position in the Free World.

America’s Far Left Political Activists, including the President of the United States, are presently attempting, what is known in both sports and military strategy, as a “misdirection” play.

CNN.com reports that

Red tail lights snaked for hundreds of yards down an interstate in Oakland, California, as motorists stood still for protesters blocking traffic for a few minutes.

The marchers were making a statement about alleged unchecked police brutality and racially uneven justice in America on the third day of marches, sit-ins and die-ins over a grand jury decision in the death of African-American Eric Garner in Staten Island, New York.

Many people around the country have been as shocked by the decision not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who put Garner in a chokehold, as they have been horrified by the cell phone video of it that went viral.

The outrage has weighed heavily especially after the police shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. When the jury announced it will not indict Pantaleo, protests dotted the American map.

A coast away in New York City, protesters attempted to block traffic on FDR Drive — a six-lane thoroughfare that hugs eastern Manhattan — and on the iron trellised Manhattan Bridge, which connects the island to Brooklyn.

But at the end of a long, cold, wet Friday, police had had enough and pulled up in detention buses. The sight of them alone was a deterrent to most protesters.

After a handful were arrested, the remaining group called it a night.

New York multitudes

Nowhere in the country have streets overflowed with as many outraged people as in New York City.

Friday’s crowds appeared to be smaller than previous nights’, as cold rain trickled down jackets and hats. But marchers were still passionate about being heard. Some passed out a list of demands to the media regarding Garner’s death.

All officers involved should be fired, they demanded, and a special prosecutor should investigate complaints of excessive force. The state legislature should make chokeholds punishable.

Earlier, Eric Garner’s daughter, Erica, told CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper” that she wanted to see people punished for her father’s killing.

“Justice to me is basically doing what’s right,” she said. “I wouldn’t be happy with (Pantaleo) just losing his job or being suspended or still getting paid. I wouldn’t want that. I would want him to face time in jail.”

She said that anyone who contributed to her father’s death should go to prison.

Christmas tree die-ins

At Herald Square, where Broadway cuts an elegantly slanted path through streets and avenues to create a picturesque gathering place, protesters flooded Macy’s century old flagship store — a national historic landmark.

Store management allowed them to stage a die-in under the eyes of holiday shoppers and ceilings decked with Christmas cheer.

They marched up a few blocks to Times Square and blocked traffic for 10 minutes, then turned down 42nd Street chanting, “This is what democracy looks like.”

They stopped again in Bryant Park and encircled some shops. Many of the workers in those stores came out and, in support, raised their hands in the air.

The crowd set off up Sixth Avenue, traversing against the flow of yellow cabs and other cars. A cacophony of horns greeted them, and cab drivers held their hands out of their windows in approval.

Eric Garner had a criminal record that included more than 30 arrests dating back to 1980 on charges such as assault, resisting arrest, grand larceny. An official said the charges included multiple incidents in which he was arrested for selling unlicensed cigarettes.

This is a fact that has been scrubbed off of just about all Liberal Websites, including Wikipedia, literally overnight.

Why are these black Americans, along with their stupid white Liberal Brethren, glorifying a career criminal?

Simple. These Americans, unlike the majority of us, have grown up without appropriate parental guidance, i.e., no one teaching them “the way in which they should go”

Take Michael Brown, for example. Here’s a photo from Conservative Talk Show Host’s Ben Ferguson’s Facebook Page, that explains Big Mike’s affinity for “Thug Life”.

Michael Brown's Parents 12614

Back in the 60s, President Lyndon Johnson (whose big hand I once shook, at his ranch, as a little boy, after his presidential term) and the Democrats, brought forth a plan, called “the Great Society”. It was decided, in order to ensure that everyone would have an equal opportunity in America, that Uncle Sugar would step in to fill in the gaps.

Two seminal pieces of legislation were passed.

First, the Civil Rights Bill that JFK promised to sign, before his assassination, was passed into law. This Act banned discrimination based on race and gender in employment and ending segregation in all public facilities.

It also helped to cement in stone, minorities’ loyalty to the Democratic Party, which continues to this day.

The second bill that LBJ signed into law was the sweeping ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY ACT OF 1964. It created the Office of Economic Opportunity whose stated purpose was to attack the roots of American poverty. A Job Corps was then established to provide vocational training.

A preschool program designed to help disadvantaged students arrive at kindergarten ready to learn, named HEADSTART, was then established. Then came VOLUNTEERS IN SERVICE TO AMERICA (VISTA), which was set up as a domestic Peace Corps. Schools in impoverished American regions would now receive volunteer teaching attention. Federal funds were sent to struggling communities to attack unemployment and illiteracy.

What Johnson told Americans, as he campaigned in 1964, was that the establishment of this “Great Society” was going to eliminate the problems of America’s poor.

It had the opposite effect

The Great Society created a dependent class, which, instead of diminishing as it’s members joined the workforce, increased from generation to generation, relying on the federal government to provide their every need.

Uncle Sugar became Mother, Father, Preacher, and Doctor to generations of Americans. This “plantation mentality” continues to this day.

A couple of years ago, I worked at our county’s State Employment Center Office.

While at the Employment Office, I was able to observe Americans, both Black and White, down on their luck, struggling to find work and survive in this economy. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of “unemployed ” who came to this particular office were Black.

I saw Black American Families whose existence living on the Government Dole, had become generational.

It is these people whom Obama and the Democrats have hypnotized into believing that Uncle Sugar loves them, and is their only solution to surviving a stifling existence.

They are so, so wrong.

The strength and vitality of America does not come from the benevolence of a Nanny-state Federal Government.

As the greatest American President of my lifetime, Ronald Reagan said:

The nine words you never want to hear are: I’m from the Government and I’m here to help.

Being enslaved to the Government Dole steals one’s ambition. It takes away any impetus or desire to create a better life for yourself and your family, to challenge yourself to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and pursue the American Dream. It makes you reliant on a politically motivated spider’s web full of government bureaucrats who view you and your family as job security.

I watched American citizens trapped in this web of government bureaucracy, so numbed of any initiative that they once had, that they seemed offended that they actually had to prove that they inquired about three jobs that week in order to keep their “benefits”. Others seemed puzzled that they had to search through the state data base and pick out a job that they wanted to talk to an interviewer about receiving a referral to, and weren’t just simply handed a job when they walked through the door.

Instead of moving forward, by exercising the self-reliance that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached so well, these people I saw, were content on being “taken care of” by Uncle Sugar, as if being held down by their own poor, miserable circumstance, was a good thing.

As a Republican, I am sure that it would have offended you, Dr. King, to hear the tenants of Marxism, i.e., “sharing the wealth” and Class Envy, being “preached” to the same Black Americans whom you tried so mightily to raise up and inspire.

This week, the results of LBJ’s “Great Society” have been the lead story in every television newscast, on every newspaper front page, and on every internet news/political website.

Dr King, I am sorry to tell you that racism and injustice is still going on in America. Unfortunately, it will not end any time soon, There are too many race-baiters profiting off of it.

Including, the President of the United States.

The part of your magnificent speech about “the content of their character” has been purposefully ignored by the professional race-baiters and assorted politicians (but, I repeat myself), once again, in the aftermath of the death pf Career Criminal Eric Garner.

Dr. King, your call for self-reliance took a back seat to their self-serving agenda, a long time ago.

Ferguson Redux: NYC Cop Not Indicted. “Perpetually Aggrieved” Ready to Rumble…Again.

AFBrancoFergusonWolvesAmerica, under the failed leadership of its First Post-Racial President, continues to be anything but Post-Racial.

FoxNews.com reports that

A Staten Island grand jury declined Wednesday to indict a white New York City police officer in connection with the July chokehold death of an unarmed black man.

Police Officer Daniel Pantaleo, a 29-year-old, eight-year veteran of the force, faced possible charges in the July 17 death of Eric Garner, who was stopped on suspicion of selling loose cigarettes. Video captured Pantaleo using what appeared to be an illegal chokehold on Garner, a 43-year-old father of six with a lengthy criminal record. Garner, who had health problems, died as a result of the encounter.

In the video, Garner can be heard yelling, “I can’t breathe!”

Jonathan Moore, an attorney for the victim’s family, said he is “astonished by the decision.”

In a statement, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday was “a deeply emotional day” and called for any protests to remain peaceful.

President Obama, speaking at the Tribal Nations Conference in Washington after the grand jury’s decision was announced, said many minority communities across the United States feel that law enforcement is not working with them “in a fair way.”

“We are not going to let up until we see a strengthening of the trust and strengthening of the accountability that exists between our communities and our law enforcement,” Obama said.

By mid-afternoon, protests began to bubble up around the city. A Twitter hashtag,#ShutItDown, called on demonstrators to protest Wednesday night’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan. A “lie-in” was held at the main concourse of Grand Central Station in Manhattan, though MyFoxNY.com reported that protesters were not blocking commuters and no arrests were made.

And now, we pause, for this moment of truth…and sanity.

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley is defending police officers, calling it “ridiculous” that people claim white cops are just out there killing black people.

Speaking to CNN on Tuesday, Barkley stated that if it wasn’t for police, the ghetto would be like the “wild, wild west.”

“The notion that white cops are out there just killing black people – that’s ridiculous. That’s just flat-out ridiculous,” the TNT basketball analyst told CNN. “I challenge any black person to try to make that point. Cops are actually awesome. They are the only thing in the ghetto between this place being the wild, wild west. So this notion that cops are out there just killing black men is ridiculous and I hate that narrative coming out of this entire situation.”

Barkley previously had strong words about the violent protesters in Ferguson, calling them “scumbags” for looting and setting businesses on fire after officer Darren Wilson was not indicted in the death of Michael Brown. He told CNN the only time America discusses race is when something bad happens.

“We’ve always had a racial issue in this country and the biggest problem with it is we never discuss race until something bad happens. We never have meaningful dialogue over a cold beer when things are going good,” Barkley explained to CNN. “When something bad happens, everybody has a tribe mentality. Everybody wants to protect their own tribe, whether they’re right or wrong.”

Barkley stated that there’s a reason why police racially profile the black community.

“We as black people, we got a lot of crooks. We can’t just wait until something like this happens. We have to look at ourselves in the mirror,” Barkley told CNN. “There’s a reason they racially profile us at times. Sometimes it’s wrong, sometimes it’s right. To act like we hold no responsibility for some of this stuff is disingenuous.”

Barkley also said that there needs to be stronger black leaders, and not the same case of “sad characters.”

“Every time something happens in the black community, we have the same cast of sad characters. We don’t have to have Al Sharpton go there.”

Barkley continued: “We need some strong black men in St. Louis to stand up and say ‘Hey, let’s handle this situation.’”

Hundreds of protesters around the country have been arrested following last week’s grand jury announcement. The presence of police and National Guard in the Ferguson area has been scaled back following violent protests.

Back in the 1970s, one of my favorite television shows was “Baretta”, starring Robert Blake. Beretta was a no-nonsense New York City Plain Clothes Cop, who wore a jaunty hat, blue jeans, and a short sleeve sweatshirt, and had a cockatoo named Fred.

The title song, “Keep Your Eye on the Sparrow”, was performed by Sammy Davis, Jr.

The catchphrase to the song, which became popular nationwide, was, “If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.”

It meant that if you cannot take responsibility for your actions, then perhaps you should not do something illegal in the first place.

Perhaps someone should have instructed the two young men, who were killed in these unfortunate incidents in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City, as to the difference between right and wrong, and the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions.

I find it very ironic, that the same protesters who are screaming and shouting at the top of their lungs that there is a different standard for black Americans and white Americans, in terms of dealing with our legal system, are the same ones who are expecting to be treated differently, and to have some sort of special privilege, that excuses them from unlawful behavior and the consequences of their own actions .

When you break our laws, you just cannot expect to get away scot-free. You should expect that there will be consequences for your actions. That is, unless you have broken into this country, as I wrote about yesterday.

But, I digress…

It is also ironic that the same radical Americans, who years ago, wanted to take down the Establishment, actually now, are the Establishment.

In their quest to create a Socialist Utopia, where everyone is the same, and there are no overachievers or underachievers , the Obama Administration and their sycophants have actually set the stage for the chaos and animus regarding race relations that is gripping our country.

Without respect for our legal system, and for those in authority, whose job it is to enforce our system of laws, a civilized society can quickly evolve into a scene from Lord of the Flies, where the most barbaric will have the most power and privilege. In other words, rule by intimidation.

As is presently happening in my hometown of Memphis Tennessee, the Obama White House finds itself in the trap of its own making. By promising Americans that they will take care of everything from cradle to grave, Obama and his administration, like other administrations before them, have “freed” parents from their duties, creating a generational cycle of neediness, lawlessness, and disrespect for authority.

The Bible tells us that we reap what we sow.

Obama has sown class warfare and racial division… and now, America is reaping the results.

POTUS Vs. The Police: Once a Community Organizer…

AFBrancoBlackLeadereship12114Liberals seem to assume that, if you don’t believe in their particular political solutions, then you don’t really care about the people that they claim to want to help. – Dr. Thomas Sowell

DATELINE: Chicago, January 31, 2013 –
With outrage over Hadiya Pendleton’s slaying spreading from City Hall to the White House, the 15-year-old became a symbol Wednesday of escalating violence in Chicago while fueling the national debate over guns and crime.

A little more than a week after performing with the King College Prep band in Washington during President Barack Obama’s inauguration festivities, Hadiya was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in a park about a mile north of Obama’s Kenwood home. Two other teens were wounded.

Young, talented Hadiya was killed by Chicago “Gang Bangers”, who just happened to have been black.

How quickly they forget.

The New York Post reports that

Obama is proposing a three-year, $263 million spending package to increase use of body-worn cameras, expand training for law enforcement and add more resources for police department reform. The package includes $75 million for the small, lapel-mounted cameras to record police on the job.

The White House has said the cameras could help bridge deep mistrust between law enforcement and the public. It also potentially could help resolve the type of disputes between police and witnesses that arose in the Ferguson shooting.

After the shooting and resulting protests in August, Obama ordered a review of federal programs that fund military gear for local police after critics questioned why police in full body armor with armored trucks responded to dispel demonstrators. Obama seemed to sympathize when announcing the review over the summer.

“There is a big difference between our military and our local law enforcement and we don’t want those lines blurred,” Obama said at the time.

Senior administration officials said Friday that five federal agencies have programs to supply the equipment that are authorized by Congress, but Obama’s focus is not supporting legislation to repeal them but to make sure there are standards to ensure the equipment is used safely.

Obama’s staff is drafting an executive order that will require federal agencies that run the programs to work with law enforcement and civil rights and civil liberties organizations to recommend changes.

Demands for police to wear the cameras have increased across the country since Brown’s death. Some officers in the St. Louis suburb have since started wearing the cameras, and the New York Police Department became the largest department in the US to adopt the technology when it launched a pilot program in early September.

A report from the Justice Department, which had been in the works before the Ferguson shooting, said there’s evidence that both police and civilians behave better when they know there are cameras around. The report also cites how footage from the cameras can be used to train officers.

So, somehow, it’s America’s Law Enforcement Officers’ Fault that a young thug got himself killed while attacking a police officer?

What ever happened to personal responsibility?

President Ronald Reagan once said,

There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect.

Compare it to these words:

It’s not to make excuses for that fact — although black folks do interpret the reasons for that in a historical context. They understand that some of the violence that takes place in poor black neighborhoods around the country is born out of a very violent past in this country, and that the poverty and dysfunction that we see in those communities can be traced to a very difficult history. – President Barack Hussein Obama, 7/19/2014

President Obama, for his own political reasons, reinforces, at every opportunity, the self-fulfilling prophecy that the Black Community is still shackled and limited in their freedom.

Which is an ironic statement, considering, as a Black man, that he presently holds the position of President of the most powerful country on the face of the Earth.

On November 25th, The Daily Caller reported that

Retired neurosurgeon and potential GOP 2016 candidate Ben Carson believes race relations in America, as a whole, have “gotten worse” under President Barack Obama’s leadership, saying he should take a ”balanced, objective look at things” instead of invoking the race card.

Carson made the comments to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt Tuesday night.

“I actually believe that things were better before this president was elected,” Carson told Hewitt, “and I think that things have gotten worse because of his unusual emphasis on race.”

“Can you explain more? What do you mean by that?” asked Hewitt. “How did they get worse, and how did he contribute to it?”

“Well, for instance, in the incident with Henry Louis Gates, Skip Gates and him calling out the police, and you know, how they always do this kind of thing, and the Trayvon Martin case, you know, if I had a son, this is what he would look like, rather than trying to take the balanced, objective look at things, and then, you know, what’s happened here,” responded Carson.

“And then the way, which really irritates me to some degree, the way he and a bunch of progressives manipulate, particularly minority communities, to make them feel that they are victims. And of course if you think you’re a victim, you are a victim,” Carson continued.

Back in High School, during the 1974-1975 school year, I was a Sophomore Commissioner on the Student Council with a fellow named James. James was one of those students who were bused to our school. He went on to play football and run track. More importantly, James went on to have a 4.5 GPA, make a 32 on his ACT, and receive a full scholarship to Harvard, and later, went on to Johns Hopkins Medical School. James worked hard and he achieved.

Millions of other Black Americans have, as well.

The current race-baiting and racially-based pandering by the President and his Administration dishonors those who have achieved and has constrained those who might otherwise achieve.

Community Organizer-In-Chief To Hold “Ferguson Beer Summit” Today

AFBrancoPants-Up-LA-600-578x420If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labeled a radical 60 years ago, a liberal 30 years ago and a racist today. – Dr. Thomas Sowell

From 1985 – 1988, President Barack Hussein Obama was a Community Organizer in Chicago. What does a Community Organizer do? I’m glad you asked.

Per Byron York in an article found at nationalreview.com:

Community organizing is most identified with the left-wing Chicago activist Saul Alinsky (1909-72), who pretty much defined the profession. In his classic book, Rules for Radicals, Alinsky wrote that a successful organizer should be “an abrasive agent to rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; to fan latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expressions.” Once such hostilities were “whipped up to a fighting pitch,” Alinsky continued, the organizer steered his group toward confrontation, in the form of picketing, demonstrating, and general hell-raising.

Obama was hired by Jerry Kellman, a New Yorker who had gotten into organizing in the 1960s. Kellman was trying to help laid-off factory workers on the far South Side of Chicago, in a nearly 100% black community. He led a group, the Calumet Community Religious Conference, that had been created by several local Catholic churches in the industrial community. Kellman was advised to hire a black organizer for a new spinoff from CCRC. They called it the Developing Communities Project, designed to focus solely on the Chicago part of the area.

One of Obama’s projects while he was there, was to try to build an alliance of white and black churches and enlist them in the cause of social justice. Obama had a problem, though. He didn’t go to church himself. And that, brothers and sisters, is how Obama, drawn to the preaching of Rev. Jeremiah Wright (and a political opportunity), joined Trinity United Church of Christ on 95th Street.

If you ask Obama’s fellow Community Organizers what his most significant accomplishments were, they’ll say two things: the expansion of a city summer-job program for South Side teenagers and the removal of asbestos from one of the area’s oldest housing projects. Those were his biggest victories.

Remember all of that as you read this…

NBCNews.com reports that

President Barack Obama will meet with young civil rights leaders, politicians and law enforcement from around the country as protests continue over Ferguson in a bid to build trust among communities of color and police, the White House said Sunday.

Obama will welcome the civil rights activists in the Oval Office on Monday. He then will sit down with local leaders, elected officials and police, the White House said.

“Recent events in Ferguson, Missouri and around the country have shone a spotlight on the importance of strong, collaborative relationships between local police and the communities they protect and serve,” the White House said in a statement.

“As the country has witnessed, disintegration of trust between law enforcement agencies and the people they protect and serve can destabilize communities, undermine the legitimacy of the criminal justice system, undermine public safety, create resentment in local communities, and make the job of delivering police services less safe and more difficult,” the White House added.

Protests have continued nationwide since a grand jury decided not to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. Wilson resigned from the police force on Saturday.

As I have written before, Obama ascended to the throne of the Regime during a period when our nation was experiencing a period of economic recession, by appealing to the masses by promising that if he was elected, the oceans would rise and fall, the sun would come out tomorrow (Hey, that sounds like a song. Oh…never mind.) and everybody would receive a unicorn in their backyard. (Okay. He didn’t really promise that. But, heck, he promised everything else.)

Obama’s “speechifying” sounded great to the 47%, who have relied on Uncle Sugar’s largesse for generations.

Obama has always aimed his “soaring rhetoric” toward that audience, preaching not only economic class division, but racial division, as well.

The attention which he has paid to isolated racial incidents, like the shooting of the young thug, Michael Brown, blown up to national attention by the Democrat Party and their professional race-baiters, including Obama himself, diminishes the presidency.

When Ronald Reagan was president, he was in the Oval Office by 7:00 a.m. every morning, in a coat and tie, because he felt like his being in shirt sleeves was unseemly for the highest office in the land.

Obama saunters into the Oval Office every day about 10 a.m. or so, in shirt sleeves. Quite frankly, I’m surprised that he doesn’t wear his golf shorts and an Izod golf shirt.

Going to college, back in the day, one of the books I had to read for a Business Communications Course was “The Peter Principle”, which states that everyone, in their chosen profession, rises to their level of incompetence.

Unfortunately, for average hard-working Americans, Obama’s level of competence ended in 1988.

And, he’s been Community Organizing ever since.

MLK, BHO, The Ferguson Riots, And “The Great Society”

Obama Split-Screen 11252014It was August of 1976, and I was a Freshman at (then) Memphis State University, sitting in Professor Williams’ “Introduction to Journalism” Class. The Professor, whom we swore was George Washington’s Press Secretary, was telling us about Marshall McLuhan, universally regarded as the father of communications and media studies and prophet of the information Age, and his observation that “the medium is the message”.

Well, Monday night, a seminal moment in cable news proved, not only that McLuhan was a prophet, but that

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Foxnews.com reports that

President Obama couldn’t beat the rioters to the airwaves. Moments after the announcement of a grand jury’s decision to not charge Officer Darren Wilson with a crime for shooting robbery suspect Michael Brown, Obama came before television viewers to call for calm and for media outlets to focus on peaceful protests taking place. But before Obama could get off the dais, the arson, riots and looting that would rage through the night had already begun. That split-screen image was the starkest illustration yet of the limitations of a man whose rationale for seeking the presidency despite a slim resume was his ability to meet what he said was America’s greatest need: Someone “to bring the country together.” Obama explained in February 2007 that he would run because “one of the skills that [he brings] to bear is being able to pull together the different strands of American life and focus on what we have in common.” Nearly seven years later, quite the opposite has proven to be true.

… In his remarks amid the opening moments of Monday’s riot, Obama said America has “made enormous progress in race relations” over the past “several decades.” But any of Obama’s recent predecessors certainly could have said the same thing. The more important question: How is Obama, who rationalized his upstart candidacy on his skills on the subject, doing at pulling together “the different strands” of our culture? The broad consensus is strongly negative. Many on the left blame a racist backlash against the first non-white president, while many on the right blame a president who has embraced divisive politics and demonized rivals. But whatever the reasons, Obama’s presidency has witnessed a marked decline in race relations in America. Americans have a dimmer view of race relations, with one poll showing a 10-point drop from 2013 to 2014 alone.

Perhaps, it is because the Community Organizing Race-Baiter-In-Chief, through his Racially Divisive Rhetoric, has empowered some of his followers to think that it is okay to act like a bunch of Attila the Hun’s Barbarians burning, looting, and vandalizing their neighbors’ properties.

What has caused this lack of personal morals, ethics, and responsibility, not only in Ferguson, but also in Oakland, Memphis, and in other racial hot spots in our nation?

I think I know.

Back in the 60s, President Lyndon Johnson (whose big hand I once shook, at his ranch, as a little boy, after his presidential term) and the Democrats, brought forth a plan, called “the Great Society”. Michael Brown Riots 8132014Last night, Americans sat in front of our television sets waiting for the verdict in the Michael Brown Case. This was not a trial, although many had already convicted Officer Darren Wilson before deliberations even begun.

The verdict would come from the Grand Jury, who was hearing evidence in this controversial case. What a Grand Jury does, and I can tell you from first hand experience, having been a Juror on both a Federal Grand Jury and a State Grand Jury, is review evidence with the prosecuting attorney, who presents witnesses testifying on behalf of the Prosecution, in an effort to figure out whether the Federal or State Government has enough evidence to take the accused to trial. This is called handing down an indictment.

In the case of officer Darren Wilson, accused of shooting young thug Michael Brown in cold blood, it seems like the President of the United States and his administration already had Officer Wilson convicted before the Grand Jury even begin to deliberate.

What bothered me and most Americans, was the fact that there was a video which showed the character of Michael Brown, as he plainly stole cigarillos from the local convenience store, strong- arming the Asian owner who tried to stop him, pushing him into a potato chip rack. Even the most ignorant among us knew the reason that Michael was stealing those cigarillos. It was to smoke something other than tobacco.

Obama even sent down Attorney General Eric Holder to try to intimidate the Grand Jury into indicting Officer Wilson, or at least to put pressure on them to move in that direction. In fact, the Obama Administration even sent three representatives to the funeral of a young thug.

The best laid plans of mice and often go awry – Robert Burns

USA Today reports that

A white police officer will not face charges for fatally shooting an unarmed black teenager in a case that set off violent protests and racial unrest throughout the nation.

A St. Louis County grand jury declined to indict officer Darren Wilson, 28, for firing six shots in an August confrontation that killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, St. Louis County prosecutor Robert McCulloch said Monday night.

The decision had been long awaited and followed rioting that resembled war-zone news footage in this predominantly black suburb of St. Louis.

Prosecutor McCullough made the announcement in an unusual nighttime presentation in a courtroom. He spoke at length about media coverage of the case and what he called the unreliability of eyewitness accounts. He said the grand jury weighed evidence and testimony before concluding there was no probable cause to indict the officer.

“The duty of the grand jury is to separate fact from fiction,” McCulloch said.

He said prosecuting attorneys presented five potential indictments to the grand jury, and all were rejected.

A traditional Chinese curse states,

May you live in interesting times.

And, we most certainly do.

Something that puzzles all of us is why someone would want to riot over the death of a young thug obviously engaging in illegal activities, who according to the number one medical examiner in the country , Dr Michael Baden, was shot while attempting to climb into the car with Officer Wilson and take his gun away from him. Michael was shot in the top of the head and the front, not in the back trying to run away, or strictly in the chest, with his hands held high, as the original claims made by “witnesses” were documented.

So, why have these people been rioting?

Could it be because of the poverty they’ve experienced? No. There are a lot of poverty-stricken Americans who have never acted in such a reprehensible manner.

No, I believe it is another reason.

Spurred on by President Barack Hussein Obama, who met with the organizers in private on November 5th, these rioters are after something else. They are after a “radical change” in America.

Check out the Race-Baiter-in-Chief’s remarks to the nation after the decision not to indict was announced last night, courtesy of nationaljournal.com,

“The fact is, in too many parts of this country, a deep distrust exists between law enforcement and communities of color. Some of this is the result of the legacy of racial discrimination in this country. And this is tragic because nobody needs good policing more than poor communities with higher crime rates,” Obama said, highlighting the need for criminal justice reform. “We need to recognize that this is not just an issue for Ferguson, this is an issue for America.”

Already, there are reports of possible gunshots in Ferguson among large crowds. Obama asked police in the area “to show care and restraint in managing peaceful protests that may occur.” While saying that police have a “tough job” to do, he asked that “as they do their jobs in the coming days, they need to work with the community, not against the community, to distinguish the handful of people who may use the grand jury’s decision as an excuse for violence.”

Just as the Bolsheviks provided cover for Vladimir Lenin in the Russian Revolution, so are these modern-day Bolsheviks providing a Vanguard for the implementation of the promise that Obama made us when he was running for president, that he would “radically change” America.

You see, it does not matter to the animals out there rioting, that Michael Brown was a thug. The color of his skin matters to them more than the content of his character.

These misbegotten individuals who are expressing themselves through violence are doing so in order to gain something that their political ideology never has been able to. They want an overthrow of the “Establishment”. Just as her parents and grandparents before them sat around smoking dope in the Dean’s Office, these rioters want something that the majority of Americans do not. They want America to become a socialist state.

Fortunately for you, me, our children, and our grandchildren, no matter how loud they shout, or how violently they riot, these protesters, paid and unpaid, will not achieve their goal.

The concept of America, as documented by our Founding Fathers, and as paid for by the blood of previous generations of Americans, is as eternal as the sky above us.

It is a concept of a Constitutional Republic, based on liberty. And liberty, is freedom…with responsibility.

Neither the Obama Administration nor the rioters will probably understand what I am saying today, but, thank God that the overwhelming majority of Americans still do.

First “Post-Racial” President Weighs in One Mo’ Time on Upcoming Ferguson Verdict

Ferguson MO8202014As I sit here, writing today’s blog, America waits on “the other shoe to drop. Obama, last Thursday, dropped the “Amnesty Shoe”, now we’re waiting on the “Race-Baiting Shoe”.

Obama prepared us for it, yesterday morning.

Foxnews.com reports that

President Obama on Sunday called for calm after the announcement of the pending grand jury decision in Ferguson, Mo., and argued that race relations in the U.S. have significantly improved in the past 10 years.

“My own experience tells me race relations continue to improve,” Obama said on ABC’s “This Week,” in an interview taped last week. “There’s no way to say race relations are worse than 20, 50 years ago.”

The much-anticipated announcement — whether a white police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown, an unarmed black man, will be indicted in connection with the incident — is now not expected until at least Monday.

The days following the Aug. 9 incident were marked by mass protests and a strong police response. And officials are preparing for a similar situation if Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson in not indicted and brought to trial.

“First and foremost, keep protests peaceful,” Obama told ABC. “This is a country that allows everybody to express their views, allows them to peacefully assemble, to protest actions that they think are unjust, but using any event as an excuse for violence is contrary to rule of law and contrary to who we are.”

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon on Monday declared a state of emergency in anticipation of problems following the announcement.

The FBI has sent nearly 100 additional agents to Ferguson to help law enforcement agencies, according to a U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to discuss the FBI plans.

Crews this weekend erected barricades around the Clayton, Mo., judicial center where the grand jury has been considering whether to indict Wilson.

Tensions have been mounting in Ferguson and elsewhere in the St. Louis area in recent days, with many speculating that the grand jury’s decision would be announced on Sunday.

Police arrested three protesters on Friday night — the third straight night of unrest in Ferguson.

Barricades also have been erected in Ferguson where police had set up a makeshift command center in the immediate aftermath of Brown’s death.

Obama also said the country needs to do a better job training law enforcement officials and seemed to make a reference to Trayvon Martin.

He said law enforcement needs to “distinguish between a gang banger and a kid who just happens to be wearing a hoodie but otherwise is a good kid and not doing anything wrong.”

Martin was shot and killed on the night of Feb. 26, 2012 by Florida neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman.

The unarmed teen, who was wearing a hoodie, and 28-year-old Zimmerman got into a fatal altercation. Zimmerman was acquitted on manslaughter and murder charges.

Obama would not say whether he will go to Ferguson after the announcement and declined to compare the situation to the 1965 civil rights march in Selma, Ala.

Point of Order, Mr. President.  About this RAAACIIISM Thingy…for 20 years you sat under the former American Black Muslim Rev. Jeremiah Wright, at the Trinity Church of Christ, a “Black Liberation Theology” Church.

What is “Black Liberation Theology”? I’m glad you asked.

The chief architect of black liberation theology was James Cone, author of Black Theology and Black Power. One of the tasks of this movement, according to Cone, is to analyze the nature of the gospel of Jesus Christ in light of the experience of blacks who have long been victimized by white oppressors. According to black liberation theology, the inherent racism of white people precludes them from being able to recognize the humanity of nonwhites; moreover, their white supremacist orientation allegedly results in the establishment of a “white theology” that is irrevocably disconnected from the black experience. Consequently, liberation theologians contend that blacks need their own, race-specific theology to affirm their identity and their worth.

“What we need,” says Cone, “is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of Black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.” Observing that America was founded for white people, Cone calls for “the destruction of whiteness, which is the source of human misery in the world.” He advocates the use of Marxism as a tool of social analysis to help Christians to see “how things really are.”

Another prominent exponent of black liberation theology is the Ivy League professor Cornel West, who calls for “a serious dialogue between Black theologians and Marxist thinkers” — a dialogue that centers on the possibility of “mutually arrived-at political action.”

In the past, Obama has credited a sermon of Mr. Wright’s, “The Audacity of Hope,” with drawing him to what he identified back in 2008 as, “Christianity”.

On Page 293 of his first book,  “Dreams for My Father,” Obama recounts Wright’s “The Audacity of Hope” sermon.

Obama quotes this passage:

It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!

In fact, Wright had so influenced the young Illinois Senator that Obama made the phrase “The Audacity of Hope” the title of his second book.

However, right before he announced his presidential campaign, Obama started to put distance between himself and his pastor of 20 years, cancelling plans for him to deliver the convocation prayer at the campaign’s formal announcement.

The president has been physically distancing himself from Rev. Wright ever since.

Can you say hypocrisy, boys and girls? Sure you can.

I have been thinking about Michael Brown and what his childhood might have been like, especially after seeing the way his parents have reacted to his death, ranging from the scuffle his Mudear got in over the selling of t-shirts, to both of his parents wishing to appear before the United Nations.

And then, I flash on that video of the young thug that Michael Brown had become, stealing those cigarillos from that local convenience store, in order to make blunts, and him roughing up that much smaller shop owner.

I have never been able to stomach mistreatment of children. I know it is because of my upbringing, in a stable Christian home. Nowadays, that familial situation, which my generation was so familiar with, is becoming more and more scarce. In fact, it’s on the Obama’ Administration’s Hit List. You see, Liberals, Progressives, socialists, Alinskyites, worshipers of Molech, or whatever you want to call these yahoos, , want the “gub’mit”, good ol’ Uncle Sugar, to raise , educate, and pay for (with OUR tax money) their “chirren”.

Oh…they also want US to pay for the killing of their “inconvenient” babies, as well.

These “parents”, if they are not “Pookies”, sitting around on the couch, drinking Purple “drank” and smoking Blunts all day, while waiting on their “benefits”, are middle-class, self-absorbed , materialistic heathens, who are 30 year old adolescents, caring more about their own careers and social lives, than they are about leading a child “in the way in which they should go”.

The children, in both instances, are left to fend for themselves, and grow up thinking that the behavior they see on television and at home, is the behavior of every adult in America.

And, that is how that young man wound up strong-arming that shop owner and later, assaulting that police officer, an act for which he lost his life.

In the church I grew up in, in one of the Sunday School classrooms, was a painting of Jesus, seated, with a child on his lap, surrounded by little children, smiling and talking to them.

As a child growing up, I thought to myself, how great that must have to been to have Him for a friend.

Then, as I became older, I realized that I already did.

It breaks my heart that the young thug, Michael Brown, who is now being made a meal of by Race-Baiting Vultures, wase not properly introduced to such a Friend.

He would have made all the difference in his young life.

Riot Preparation For the Verdict in Ferguson. Obama Secretly Meets with Ferguson “Protestors”.

Ferguson1Missouri State Authorities are getting their assets in place as the decision by the Grand Jury, who are deliberating, after hearing the evidence for or against indictment in the case of the shooting of Ferguson , Missouri young thug, Michael Brown, by Police Office Darren Wilson looms nigh.

The New York Times reports that

Since August, a disparate array of demonstrators — some from longstanding organizations, others from new groups with names like Hands Up United and Lost Voices — has been drawn here to protest not just the shooting of Mr. Brown, but also the broader issues of racial profiling and police conduct.

Now, with the grand jury’s decision expected in the coming days, the groups are preparing with intricate precision to protest the no-indictment vote most consider inevitable. Organizers are outlining “rules of engagement” for dealing with the police, circulating long lists of equipment, including bandages and shatterproof goggles, and establishing “safe spaces” where protesters can escape the cold — or the tear gas.

Graphic | What Happened in Ferguson? Why did the police shoot an unarmed black teenager in a St. Louis suburb, and what has unfolded since then? Here’s what you need to know about the situation in Missouri.

Yet the most important part of the planning may also be the hardest: how to prevent demonstrations from turning violent. Organizers say they want their efforts here to blossom into a lasting, national movement. So they say they hope for the protests to be forceful, loud and unrelenting, but without the looting or arson that could undermine their message. But they also know that some among the ranks may be more volatile and harder to control.

“We’ve come to the conclusion that we really don’t want violence,” said one organizer with Lost Voices, who goes by the name Bud Cuzz. “We want to fix this. We still want to fight to make the laws change. We still want to raise awareness. But we don’t want the city to turn upside down.”

Montague Simmons, a leader of theOrganization for Black Struggle, said there was a growing circle of demonstrators with “a clear message about what we are about and what kind of behavior we are looking for.” Yet beyond their carefully orchestrated plans for a series of shows of protest and civil disobedience, leaders here acknowledge that there are disagreements about what form of response is fitting and whether militant acts might spill over into violence.

At least one group has said on Twitter that it was offering a reward for information on the whereabouts of the officer, Darren Wilson, and, at another point, that it was “restocking on 7.62 & 9mm ammo.” Law enforcement authorities said they would not discuss individual groups, but that they were “constantly looking,” at several groups, according to Brian Schellman of the St. Louis County Police, “trying to separate the rhetoric from the actual threats.”

Immediately after Mr. Brown’s death on Aug. 9, protests began. For days, people marched and chanted along West Florissant Avenue, not far from where the shooting took place and, for brief periods, the protests grew violent. Stores were looted, and the police said demonstrators threw gasoline bombs and tried to set fires. The police used tear gas and rubber bullets. Protesters said the police response was an overreaction to just a few in the otherwise peaceful crowd.

Though the confrontations quieted, the demonstrations have continued nearly nightly since. About 50 organizations, including Mr. Simmons’s, have joined forces in a “Don’t Shoot Coalition,” and the level of planning is intense.

And what is the First Black President of the United States of America doing about this incendiary situatio0n?

Why, Barack Hussein Obama is throwing kerosene on it, of course.

Jim Hoft at gatewaypundit.com reported yesterday that,

President Obama met with Ferguson protest leaders on November 5th, the day after the midterm elections. The meeting was not on his daily schedule. He was concerned that the protesters “stay on course.”

What does that mean?

And why is the president meeting with the violent Mike Brown protesters before a verdict is reached in the court case?

The Ferguson protesters have looted over 100 businesses in the St. Louis area.

The New York Times hid this in the 21st paragraph of their report:

But leaders here say that is the nature of a movement that has taken place, in part, on social media and that does not match an earlier-era protest structure where a single, outspoken leader might have led the way. “This is not your momma’s civil rights movement,” said Ashley Yates, a leader of Millennial Activists United. “This is a movement where you have several difference voices, different people. The person in charge is really — the people. But the message from everyone is the same: Stop killing us.”

At times, there has been a split between national civil rights leaders and the younger leaders on the ground here, who see their efforts as more immediate, less passive than an older generation’s. But some here said relations have improved in recent weeks.

Some of the national leaders met with President Obama on Nov. 5 for a gathering that included a conversation about Ferguson.

According to the Rev. Al Sharpton, who has appeared frequently in St. Louis with the Brown family and delivered a speech at Mr. Brown’s funeral, Mr. Obama “was concerned about Ferguson staying on course in terms of pursuing what it was that he knew we were advocating. He said he hopes that we’re doing all we can to keep peace.”

Obama wants the protesters to stay on course?

Unbelievable.

I have watching in fascination…and disgust…as the situation in Ferguson, Missouri has devolved into some sort of bizarre rush to judgement, for the purpose of some kind of strange racial reparation.

As the evidence against Michael Brown makes its way into the harsh light of day, the professional race-baiters, who have besieged the tiny town of Ferguson, and their supporting Liberal Pundits and sycophants on the World Wide Web, have continued their chorus of “innocence due to perpetual victimhood”, in the case of Michael Brown, proving that denial is not just a river in Egypt.

You see, boys and girls, at this point in the Liberal fairy tale narrative of “Mike the Gentle Giant”, with all of the blood-thirsty Liberal Trolls, who have descended upon the town of Ferguson, publicly writhing in anticipation of a presumed guilty verdict in the trial of Officer Darren Vinson, anything less than a guilty verdict will not satisfy their blood lust.

Of course, Obama will not tell the terminally aggrieved to stand down.

Since he took office, Obama has combined the political philosophies of Marx and Alinsky, and used them to turn a rhetorical political mixture of the rhetoric of Class Warfare and “perceived racial discrimination”, fueled by racial animus, into a political weapon, a skill which he learned during his time as a community organizer in Chicago.

That is why President Barack Hussein Obama sent Attorney General Eric Holder down to Ferguson. Holder went there to make sure that Officer Vinson was indicted in the “wrongful death” of “Gentle Giant” Michael Brown.

Even if the shooting of the 6’4″, 290 lb. thieving, store owner-bullying, dope-smoking, 18 year-old thug was justified.

Decades ago, when the Ku Klux Klan rode through the nation, innocent black men were hung from the nearest tree, simply because of the color of their skin.

Today, in 2014, it appears that those roles have been reversed.

And, it has been sanctioned by Presidential Decree.

President Barack Hussein Obama, who swore an oath, at least twice, to defend this nation, seems determined to tear it apart.

Two wrongs do not make a right…”civil” or otherwise.

Of Ferguson, Falsehoods, and a Failed “Great Society”

Ferguson MO8202014With the reality of a historic drubbing in the 2014 Midterm Elections beginning to sink in among the grieving politically-active Liberal Element of our society, the situation in Ferguson, Missouri, where citizens and outside agitators are waiting on a decision by the Grand Jury deliberating whether or not to indict Police Officer Darren Vinson in the shooting of local thug Michael Brown, has assumed the National Spotlight again.

CNN.com reports that

Ferguson Mayor James Knowles told local media this week that authorities must “prepare for the worst” and he expects demonstrations across the area.

He and his administration didn’t respond to CNN’s inquiries about whether city officials would agree to the coalition’s requests. Ferguson police also did not respond to CNN’s questions about what that department thinks of the “rules,” but St. Louis County police said their department “endorses the statement from the Don’t Shoot Coalition regarding the sanctity and preservation of human life. To that end, and in the spirit of building communications, members of the Unified Command have met with the coalition to define common goals.”

Many protesters were furious because they feel Brown’s killing was an example of excessive use of force. They and heavily armed law enforcement clashed in the streets for days after Brown’s death.

Authorities, who drove armored vehicles and wore military gear, were roundly criticized by members of the media, other law enforcement officials and demonstrators for escalating the violence, rather than tempering it. Law enforcement also was accused of blocking and, in some cases, attacking journalists who were trying to report on the situation.

Some of the coalition’s “rules” ask that police provide information that makes clear law enforcement’s chain of command, who is making what decisions and why, and assurances that neither police nor the government will interfere with the flow of information. That means, according to the “rules,” there will be no unwarranted wiretapping or attempts to interfere with internet and cellular access. The rules ask the police not to use rubber bullets, armored vehicles, rifles and tear gas.

The organization also has written stipulations about how it wants police to present themselves, including a request that officers wear attire “minimally required for their safety” and that “specialized riot gear will be avoided except as a last resort.”

Knowles would not give details on law enforcement’s plan following the grand jury’s decision,CNN affiliate Fox 2 reported Wednesday. But he spoke in broad terms about the approach law enforcement is going to take.

“It’s not going to be about lining up a fixed line of law enforcement officers somewhere, it’s going to be about being prepared, being reactive, being mobile, being able to respond to wherever an issue breaks out,” the mayor said.

Knowles also expects there’s going to be unrest outside of Ferguson.

“It’s not going to be about Ferguson,” he said. “The threats that are out there are threats across the region. Our expectation is that demonstrations will probably break out in several places.”

The mayor told Fox 2 that people who are close to organizers and protesters have informed him that demonstrators are planning to focus on areas around St. Louis and the city’s downtown.

Area school superintendents have written a letter urging that when the grand jury comes to a decision that it be announced on a weekend or at least not on a weekday until after 5 p.m. The superintendents are concerned that if chaos happens, that could affect the ability of nearly 20,000 students who use transportation to get to and from school.

Like most Americans, I have watched in fascination…and disgust…as the situation in Ferguson, Missouri has devolved into some sort of bizarre rush to judgement, for the purpose of some kind of strange racial reparation.

That is why President Barack Hussein Obama sent Attorney General Eric Holder down to Ferguson. Holder was there to make sure that Officer Vinson in indicted in the “wrongful death” of “Gentle Giant” Michael Brown.

Two wrongs do not make a right…”civil” or otherwise.

Obama Speaks to Black Caucus on Ferguson, Blames Cops, While Memphis Experiences More Youth Mob Violence

policeline9292014President Barack Hussein Obama addressed the Congressional Black Caucus this past weekend. And, of course, our National Community Organizer spoke about the Ferguson Riots, from the viewpoint that you would expect a Community Organizer to have…

The widespread mistrust of law enforcement that was exposed by the fatal police shooting of an unarmed black man in Missouri exists in too many other communities and is having a corrosive effect on the nation, particularly on its children, President Obama says. He blames the feeling of wariness on persistent racial disparities in the administration of justice.

Obama said these misgivings only serve to harm communities that are most in need of effective law enforcement.

“It makes folks who are victimized by crime and need strong policing reluctant to go to the police because they may not trust them,” he said Saturday night in an address at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual awards dinner.

“And the worst part of it is it scars the hearts of our children,” Obama said, adding that it leads some youngsters to unnecessarily fear people who do not look like them and others to constantly feel under suspicion no matter what they do.

“That is not the society we want,” he said. “It’s not the society that our children deserve.”

Obama addressed the Aug. 9 shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown carefully but firmly, saying his death and the raw emotion it produced had reawakened the country to the fact that “a gulf of mistrust” exists between residents and police in too many communities.

The shooting sparked days of violent protests and racial unrest in the predominantly black St. Louis suburb of Ferguson. The police officer who shot Brown was white.

“Too many young men of color feel targeted by law enforcement – guilty of walking while black or driving while black, judged by stereotypes that fuel fear and resentment and hopelessness,” said Obama, who has spoken of enduring similar treatment as a younger man.

He said significant racial disparities remain in the enforcement of law, from drug sentencing to application of the death penalty, and that a majority of Americans think the justice system treats people of different races unequally.

Now, I realize that, in Obama’s world, it is much more politically expedient to blame those trying to uphold the law, instead of those breaking it.

But, it takes two to tango.

Take my Hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, for example…

TheBlaze.com reports that

Another teenage mob went wild Friday, WREG-TV reported, allegedly flooding streets, damaging cars and beating an elderly man:

Police said a large group of teens flooded the streets near Central High School Friday just before 10:00 p.m.

“Had I had been armed we would have had a lot of kids laying in the Bellevue street that night,” Sharon Mourning said.

Mourning said she would have done whatever she needed to protect herself.

“So we just driving and all of a sudden all of the kids ran into the middle of the street,” Mourning explained.

Mourning and her daughter Princess were driving on Bellevue Friday evening.

“It was like a whole group of kids coming from the game,” Princess Onwibiko said.

“All of a sudden just bout 20 kids are on top of my car with about 40 more kids around my car and they kicking, they stomping, they jumping, you know they hitting the windows,” Mourning said. […]

Police reported another man was attacked in his car after honking his horn at the teenagers to move out of the way.

“They had done bricked his car, stomped his car, did the same thing,” Mourning explained.

Mourning reported seeing the teenagers beat an elderly man and another teenager.

“I actually looked at the child. His face was bleeding. You know they had done beat him,” Mourning said.

Did police lay down the law?

Not exactly; WREG reported that two 17-year-old were given juvenile summons and sent home.

Mourning said law enforcement’s response was insufficient.

“Memphis is going to burn if they don’t control these children,” she said.

Memphis’ sky-high levels of violent crime helped make Tennessee the most dangerous state in America in 2012, and while the city’s schools have improved somewhat since the “dropout factory” days of 2002, Memphis students’ high school graduation rate was barely above 70 percent in 2013 — leaving a depressingly large chunk of the city’s youth with days (and nights) free for mob outings.

So, how does Memphis’ Leadership plan on combating youth violence?

By rewarding it.

Back on September 25th, Mayor A.C Wharton announced his plan to stop these mobs of “poor, impoverished” youth (carrying the latest in cell phones) from vandalizing businesses and attacking innocent people.

Promising more still to come: Thursday night Mayor A C Wharton revealed part of his battle plan to fight youth violence.

For the first time since his youth violence forum three weeks ago, Mayor Wharton told WREG community centers and youth programs may be a part of the answer.

Mayor Wharton said his plan will be ready by the end of the year, so if more money is needed, it can be worked into the budget.

In the meantime, he’s got a few ideas in the works, like keeping community centers open on the weekends.

“We are now keeping those centers open on Friday and Saturday nights for basketball and fun things,” said Wharton

Each of the four centers attracts one hundred kids, and it will cost the city $80,000 to keep them open for the rest of the year.

“If there are one hundred boys in a community center on a Friday night, at 8:30 and 9 p.m., they are not getting shot and not shooting anybody,” said Wharton. “Then maybe when the churches will see the city is keeping its community centers open, and then the churches will maybe open their gyms on Friday and Saturday nights.”

He said he got word Thursday that Memphis was accepted to ‘My Brother’s Keeper.’ It’s a federal program for boys and young men of color that offers mentoring and skills to help them succeed.

Wharton applied to the program, and has the next 120 days to create a plan of action.

Wharton said he’s also expanding the Memphis Ambassadors‘ program from 400 kids to 1,000.

Right now, 2,000 kids apply for the program.

“They are required to adopt community service programs, maintain good character, stay in school , stay out of trouble and they get a stipend,” he said.

Wharton said he is also working on creating programs that offer career guidance and character building.

He activated a Youth City Council, which was created in 2007 but never formed.

Wharton said, “by the end of this year,” he will have a concrete plan, so if more money is needed, he can work that into the budget.

Wharton said he talks to Director Toney Armstrong every day, and doesn’t think more cops need to be hired to stop youth violence.

However, he said MPD is creating their own plan like cracking down on hot spots where youth violence is happening.

“For those who for whatever reason are beyond a reach of these programs, we have stepped up enforcement,” Wharton added.

With more than a month into the school year, thousands of students have not shown up for class.

Shelby County Schools officials put the number of no shows this year at 9,052. That data comes from the board of education’s Tuesday meeting.

Educators say the report doesn’t necessarily mean that all 9,000 plus kids are truant. Some may have moved away, changed schools, or registered privately.

“In this age and era of kids having multiple options: charter Schools, ASD, municipality districts,” William White with SCS Planning and Accountability said. “It gets a little more complicated trying to get these numbers.”

Superintendent Dorsey Hopson says this is still a big problem. He says one complicating factor is the lack of a shared student data between districts.

School board members offered suggestions. They suggested moving up registration to start the process sooner or being proactive about recruiting. Others suggested working with individuals schools and principals, as well as community leaders to track down students.

“I don’t want the headline to be that the numbers don’t support truancy, because we have a truancy problem here that we need to figured it out,” Hopson said.

Hopson says right now they have no way to cross reference other school districts and figure out whether the no shows are registered at municipal schools.

Whether through truancy or miscalculations, SCS predicted a total number of students around 117,000. At a cost of about $8,000 per student, only having 108,000 could cost the district money to use in the classroom.

My beloved hometown of Memphis, Tennessee has been gutted by decades of poor financial stewardship and corrupt Black Democratic Leadership, who never saw a dollar they couldn’t spend, or a relative or friend that they couldn’t give a job with the city to.

And now, Memphis’ chickens have come home… to roost…brought about by a failed school system which turned in its charter in a successful scheme to take over the more affluent county school system, only to see the county municipalities start their own individual systems, Memphis’ black citizens murdering each other every night, and gangs of black teenagers beatomg the snot out of innocent people, simply because they’re bored, they have no parental guidance, and they know, as “juvenile offenders”, that nothing will happen to them.

There will be very little national news coverage about what happened to this lady and her child, just around the corner from historic Crump Stadium, just as the beat-down at the Kroger Parking Lot has faded from the National Scene .

President Obama will not address Memphis’ problem.

And, Outgoing (Praise the Lord) Attorney General Eric Holder is noticeably silent as well as are the Justice Brothers, Revs. Jackson and Sharpton.

For, boys and girls, the harsh reality of  an out-of-control populace of a Democratically-ran city, well on its way to becoming another Detroit, must be ignored at all costs…due to political expediencies.

Because, for these self-serving Democrat Liberal Politicians, as President Barack Hussein Obama himself has conceded, it is not about the content of the character of those who break the law, but rather, the color of their skin.

Until He Comes,
