Will the President and First Lady Contracting COVID-19 FInally Lead to China Being Held Accountable for the Pandemic?

FoxNews.com reports that

The global fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, which includes 34.4 million people infected and over 1.2 million lives lost, economic devastation and countless lives turned upside down, took a dramatic twist with the announcement President Trump was ill with what he has referred to as the “China Virus.”

Despite criticism from Trump and a handful of international leaders, Beijing has passed mostly unscathed by the world community even though it was slow to reveal to the world the true scale of the threat posed by the virus. The president and first lady Melania Trump’s infections could change that, according to experts.

“The POTUS/FLOTUS diagnosis is unprecedented. Its impact will be immense – and is difficult to predict,” Emily de La Bruyere, a senior fellow focused on China policy at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), told Fox News. “What it should do is make that much more clear the degree to which China’s improper handling of COVID has devastated the global order, and the domestic U.S. system.”

Trump’s own views are likely to only harden about China’s early handling and well-documented cover-up in the early stages of the virus’s onslaught. Last month, he took center stage at the U.N. General Assembly (UNGA) with a pre-recorded message lambasting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and urging fellow world leaders to hold the government to account.

“The United Nations must hold China accountable for their actions,” Trump said in his eight-minute speech. “In the earliest days of the virus, China locked down travel domestically while allowing flights to leave China and infect the world. China condemned my travel ban on their country, even as they canceled domestic flights and locked citizens in their homes.”

Trump also took aim at the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations-backed global health body.

“The Chinese government and the World Health Organization, which is virtually controlled by China, falsely declared that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission,” Trump said.

Indeed, some policy analysts also point fingers at the United Nations for failing to hold Beijing responsible for the damage the virus has caused.

Dean Cheng, a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation, observed that while a number of European and African nations have joined in the call for a WHO investigation into the outbreak and spread of the virus, “the Chinese influenced the measure so that it is a survey of global responses, rather than one focused on Chinese failings.”

“No country has held China accountable. Some U.S. and European rhetoric have – but that rhetoric has not translated to action,” de La Bruyere lamented. “Instead of being taken to task, Beijing is, as China’s own policy documents put it, “seizing the opportunity” – setting international standards, shoring up influence over international organizations, investing in depreciated assets. And no one is conducting the necessary due diligence to uncover where and how this virus originated in China to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

However, some U.S. lawmakers, mostly Republicans, are following the president’s lead in urging answers from China.

Earlier this year, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., announced the Justice for Victims of Coronavirus Act, which would make the Chinese government liable for civil claims in U.S. courts. The act would additionally enable U.S. courts to freeze Chinese government assets and launch a task force to examine the government’s role in the pandemic assault.

In addition, Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, and Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., introduced the Holding the Chinese Communist Party Accountable for Infecting Americans Act in a quest to amend the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA) to pave the way for litigation against a foreign state that deliberately conceals or distorts information about an international public health emergency.

And Republican Senators Marsha Blackburn, from Tennessee, and Martha McSally, from Arizona, added to the push by putting forth the Stop China-Originated Viral Infectious Diseases Act of 2020, designed to carve out an exception to sovereign immunity if a foreign state is alleged to have discharged a biological weapon, whether intentional or accidental.

The FSIA – which essentially protects one foreign government from being sued by another under the guise of sovereign immunity – complicates efforts to directly hold Beijing to legal account, international legal experts say.

But the multitude of critical questions surrounding coronavirus, its origins and China’s behavior regarding it, present new issues, say foreign policy experts.

What is China’s responsibility for this ongoing Worldwide Pandemic?

Do they expect us to still believe a Worldwide Pandemic started because a little old lady at a Wet Market in Wuhan Province in Communist China ate a diseased bat?

And, as a result, the coronavirus circled the globe within 2 months time?

Perhaps this modern-day plague did come from bats…only not in the way that the Chinese Government claims that it did.

WashingtonTimes.com reported March 30th that

Chinese government researchers isolated more than 2,000 new viruses, including deadly bat coronaviruses, and carried out scientific work on them just three miles from a wild animal market identified as the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several Chinese state media outlets in recent months touted the virus research and lionized in particular a key researcher in Wuhan, Tian Junhua, as a leader in bat virus work.

The coronavirus strain now infecting hundreds of thousands of people globally mutated from bats believed to have infected animals and people at a wild animal market in Wuhan. The exact origin of the virus, however, remains a mystery.

Reports of the extensive Chinese research on bat viruses likely will fuel more calls for Beijing to make public what it knows about such work.

“This is one of the worst cover-ups in human history, and now the world is facing a global pandemic,” Rep. Michael T. McCaul, Texas Republican and ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said last week. Mr. McCaul has said China should be held accountable for the pandemic.

A video posted online in December and funded by the Chinese government shows Mr. Tian inside caves in Hubei province taking samples from captured bats and storing them in vials.

“I am not a doctor, but I work to cure and save people,” Mr. Tian says in the video. “I am not a soldier, but I work to safeguard an invisible national defense line.”

Now, I’m just spitballin’ here (And, I can do this because it is an “Opinion Piece”) but, it is beyond logic that “Mr.” Tian’s samples wound up in a certain local laboratory?

China’s most advanced virus research laboratory, known the Wuhan Institute of Virology, is the only declared site in China capable of working with deadly viruses.

Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese biological warfare, said the institute is linked to Beijing’s covert bio-weapons program.

“Certain laboratories in the institute have probably been engaged, in terms of research and development, in Chinese [biological weapons], at least collaterally, yet not as a principal facility of the Chinese BW Alignment.

…In 1993, China declared a second facility, the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products, as one of eight biological warfare research facilities covered by the Biological Weapons Convention, which China joined in 1985.

The Wuhan Institute of Biological Products is a civilian facility but is linked to the Chinese defense establishment. Mr. Shoham said it is thought to be involved in the Chinese Biological Weapons Convention program. China’s vaccine against SARS is probably produced there. The Washington Times, 1/26/20

Now, I realize that I am just an ol’ cracka’. However, it strains credulity to the breaking point to ignore the coincidences of two related biological research facilities, along with a “gentleman” who just happens to research bat viruses in the Chinese Province where the diseased bat” which supposedly started a Global Pandemic was “consumed”.

Call me a cynic, but if you believe the Chinese Government’s story about the Wuhan Wet Markets that you probably also believe that the highly reported Chinese government-mandated abortions of girl babies, which has been occurring for several decades, is anti-Chinese Propaganda.

The Chinese still need to be held accountable for the Coronavirus Pandemic as well as those political figures and members of the Main Stream Media who have been defending them and covering for them.

Whether it was an accident or it was deliberate, all of those Americans and all of those around the world who have died deserve for the truth to be known and for responsibility to be taken.

It is a shame and it is unfathomable to think that President Trump and the First Lady contracting COVID-19 has to be the engine to start the Wheels of Justice turning against Communist China.

That should have happened months ago.

Generation Brat: Melania Trump Addresses Baltimore Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness…”Yutes” Try to Shout Her Down By Booing

WBAL.com reports that

Melania Trump on Tuesday defended the rights of teenagers who booed her when she addressed them in Baltimore, a city her husband, President Donald Trump, has disparaged as “rat and rodent infested.”She traveled there to urge hundreds of middle and high school students to avoid misusing drugs, saying that would make it harder for them to achieve their life’s goals. But her remarks drew a mix of boos and cheers, and the audience remained noisy throughout her five-minute address.

It is highly unusual for a first lady to be booed at a public appearance. Mrs. Trump released a statement hours after she had returned to the White House, defending the principle of freedom of expression while reaffirming her commitment to the issue that drew her to Baltimore.

“We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the fact is we have a serious crisis in our country and I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse,” Mrs. Trump said.

The first lady has been using her prominence to spotlight programs she thinks can help young people, whether it’s to teach them to be positive online or to avoid drug misuse and addiction.

She went to Maryland to address the Baltimore Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness, appearing on behalf of her “Be Best” youth campaign, which includes a focus on the U.S. epidemic of opioid misuse.

Students simultaneously booed and cheered her introduction.

When the audience remained rowdy after she began to speak, she interrupted her remarks to say, “Hello, everyone,” before continuing.

The first lady said she wants to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic and help educate young people about living drug free.

“I am in this fight with you, and I am fighting for you,” she said, and urged anyone struggling with addiction to ask someone for help.

“I know each one of you has hopes and dreams for the future, whether it is college, joining the military, or playing a sport. Your future will be determined by the choices you make,” Mrs. Trump said. “Using drugs will only slow you down and prevent you from achieving those goals.”

Last night, as I was running down to the local Chinese Restaurant for some Chicken Fried Rice and Sween and Sour Chicken to bring back home to my bride, I heard on the car radio about what happened to our beautiful, classy First Lady.

It was then that I realized that something has been sticking in my craw lately. Maybe I’m just getting old.

Anyway, one of the things that is currently troubling me, is this unpleasant fact:

This current generation are a bunch of self-centered brats.

It’s not just the J.R. Ewing kind of selfishness, otherwise known as a thirst for money and power. It’s different than that. It’s more along the lines of adults, who have never grown up.

It is pervasive throughout American Society. It is taught in our homes, by parents who, wanting the best for their children, teach them, from the time that they are old enough to understand, to look out for number one. Then, these little darlings go to school, where they’re taught that morals, values, and ethics are situational things, and that they owe neither allegiance nor respect to no one, neither God nor Country.

This didn’t happen when I was school age. In Elementary school, we prayed every morning, sang “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning”, and said the Pledge of Allegiance, with our hands solemnly over our hearts.

In fact, by the time we were school age, our parents had already taught us to say “Yes, ma’am” and “No, ma’am” and “Yes, sir” and “No, sir”. If we didn’t, we were disciplined. To this day, the back of my legs faintly read “4…5…6” from my Mother’s yardstick.

Nowadays, in schools across the country, young boys and girls disrespect their teachers, rolling their eyes at them, and back-talking them. When the staff tries to discipline them, the parents come up to the school and chew them out for treating their little darlings so badly.

The young adults in this country, who were raised in such an ego-swelling, egocentric, lax environment, seem to be having trouble comprehending why they should give a..err..hoot ‘n holler about how their behavior effects those around them.

I, being the old fa…fogey that I am, am always attempting to explain to them that no man is a island. There are consequences for your actions, and, those consequences affect more than just you.

On May 18, 1800, Reverend Joseph McKeen, Pastor of the First Church of Beverly, gave a timeless warning, in a sermon given to the House of Representatives and the Senate of the State of Massachusetts…

Good example acts with the greater effect, because it reproves without upbraiding, and teaches us to correct our faults without giving us the mortification of knowing that any but ourselves, have ever observed them. We feel the force of counsel or persuasion much more sensibly, when we see that one does what he advises or requires us to do. But the best counsel from one, who obeys not his own precepts, nor practices upon the principles of his own advice, will generally be little regarded. We do not believe a man to be in earnest, who advises one thing, and does the contrary.

To resist the progress of irreligion, injustice, luxury, selfishness, and an impatience of legal restraint, is a duty imposed by patriotism.

…The love of liberty we inherit from our fathers; it is so “interwoven with the ligaments of our hearts”, that there can be little doubt of our enjoying it, and little danger of its being wrested from us so long as we are capable and worthy of it. But a capacity for enjoying it depends on a sound and healthful state of the body politic.

The more freedom we have, the more necessary is the aid of religious and moral principles to the maintenance of order and tranquility. When these are lost, or very much relaxed, severe restraints, which cannot always admit of those legal forms, that are essential to the security of liberty, become necessary; yet the people may retain a love of liberty, or rather an impatience of restraint, as the sensualist retains a passion for pleasure, after his constitution is so much impaired by excess, that indulgence would be fatal to him. Liberty, like the pleasures of sense, must be enjoyed with temperance and moderation, lest degenerating into licentiousness it prove destructive. There are none, it may be presumed, who will openly avow that political liberty is, or ought to be, a license for every one to do what is right in his own eyes; yet where the love of liberty is strong, and its nature not distinctly understood, there is too often a disposition to look with an indulgent eye on licentiousness, as only the extreme of a good thing, and therefore pardonable. But the difference between them is greater than some imagine: They are indeed so different, as to be incompatible in society. When one has an excess of liberty, he invades the rights of his neighbor, who is thereby deprived of a portion of the liberty which a free constitution promises him. Liberty in that case becomes exclusively the possession of the strong, the unprincipled, the artful, who makes a prey of the innocent, weak and unsuspicious. A state of things like this is a real despotism, and of the worst kind. It is a poor consolation to the plundered, abused sufferer to be told, that he must not complain; for his oppressor is not an hereditary monarch, acting by a pretended divine right, but only a fellow citizen, acting in the name of “liberty and equality”.

I believe that a lot of this selfishness, rudeness, and out of control behavior we see around us in Today’s America comes from a generation not “being trained in the way that they should go”. Without strong role models, Christian, Jewish, or otherwise, children have no one to model themselves after. If the parents are selfish themselves, or, enablers, guess what their precious little darling is going to turn out to be?

The precious little darlings of the last few decades, who were raised to be selfish, are now selfish adults.

Unfortunately, selfish children tend to grow up to embrace a like-minded political ideology. And, then, they vote for those politicians who offer money for nothing and all the free stuff their hearts desire.

In other words, they vote for the Democrats.

God Save the Union.

Michelle Obama Wants to Create “Thousands of Me”. Yikes.

As long as the Former First Lady has herself, she will never be alone.

BusinessInsider.com reports that

Michelle Obama is hopeful about the next generation of leaders in the US.The former first lady has been meeting many younger leaders through her work with the Obama Foundation. She says it has given her a lot of optimism about their approach to leading the country.

“They’re tired of watching us do the same old thing and expect different results,” Obama, 54, said at Klick Health’s Muse event in New York on Tuesday. “So I’m optimistic about the future. There are some bright young people out there doing some amazing things.”

Those interactions have helped to solidify her plans, which aren’t likely to involve running for office.

“This is why I’m not going to run for president,” she said. “Because I think it’s a better investment to invest in creating thousands of mes.”

Rather than having one “Michelle Obama” vying for the presidency, she hopes to help more people get into leadership positions.

“We don’t need just one — we need thousands and thousands,” Obama said.

Obama spent eight years in the White House as the first lady. The idea of swapping spots with her husband, former President Barack Obama, doesn’t appeal to her.

“As an older leader, I think an important part of leadership is stepping out of the way and making room,” Michelle Obama said.

If she were to decide to run for office, it would limit the country, she said.

“We’re not finding that new energy out there,” she said.

Thank God.

Like her husband, President Barack Hussein Obama, Michelle Obama has always done her best to play The Race Card at every opportunity.

On January 23rd, 2008, during a speech given in Columbia, South Carolina, Michelle Obama said:

We don’t like being pushed outside of our comfort zones. You know it right here on this campus. You know people sitting at different tables, y’all living in different dorms. I was there. Y’all not talking to each another, taking advantage of the fact that you’re in this diverse community because sometimes it’s easier to hold onto your own stereotypes and misconceptions, it makes you feel justified in your ignorance. That’s America. So the challenge for us is, are we ready for change?

Then, in February of 2008, while campaigning for her husband in Wisconsin, Mrs. Obama said:

Let me tell you something. For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.

And let me tell you something. I need to believe that we live in that kind of nation, where hope and possibility and unity is still what drives us.

She made the “proud” comment twice in 2 different speeches. David Axlerod, Obama’s Chief Strategist, tried to explain it away at the time, saying:

She gives this talk all the time, and I don’t think she formulates the words quite that way generally. But if you look at the whole quote and read beyond it, she was plainly talking about this burst of participation, this sense of hope, the sense of possibility and so on. And she was talking about the politics of our country.

In an article titled “The Other Obama”, published on March 10, 2008, in The New Yorker Magazine, writer Lauren Collins gives us the following insights into the Future First Lady’s true feelings about America:

The four times I heard her give the speech—in a ballroom at the University of South Carolina, from the pulpit of Pee Dee Union, at an art gallery in Charleston, and in the auditorium of St. Norbert College, in De Pere, Wisconsin—its content was admirably consistent, with few of the politician’s customary tweaks and nods to the demographic predilections, or prejudices, of a particular audience.

Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents. “We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day,” she said, as heads bobbed in the pews. “Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four!”

From these bleak generalities, Obama moves into specific complaints. Used to be, she will say, that you could count on a decent education in the neighborhood. But now there are all these charter schools and magnet schools that you have to “finagle” to get into. (Obama herself attended a magnet school, but never mind.) Health care is out of reach (“Let me tell you, don’t get sick in America”), pensions are disappearing, college is too expensive, and even if you can figure out a way to go to college you won’t be able to recoup the cost of the degree in many of the professions for which you needed it in the first place. “You’re looking at a young couple that’s just a few years out of debt,” Obama said. “See, because, we went to those good schools, and we didn’t have trust funds. I’m still waiting for Barack’s trust fund. Especially after I heard that Dick Cheney was s’posed to be a relative or something. Give us something here!”

Her expensive tastes, during her time as “First Lady”, which included Wagyu Beef and Lobster, her penchant for taking the most expensive vacations ever imagined by man (with larger entourages than an NBA Player), along with her attempts at telling Americans what we HAVE to feed our children and grandchildren, and how we should be raising them, did not exactly endear herself to the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Especially when she started telling us how to feed our children and grandchildren…

Past First Ladies always took a cause to tackle during their husbands’ terms.

Usually, it was a non-intrusive cause such as literacy or combating hunger in America.

Not, in the case of our globe-trotting (on our dime) Former First Lady, “Moochelle” Obama. Under the guise of battling Childhood Obesity, she decided to sic the food police on America’s school menus, turning our children into the Liberal Administrations’ own personal lab rats and overruling the parental authority of the average American Family.

Mrs. Obama eventually had to adjust her diet plan, because children were not receiving enough nourishment from her Diet Plan and literally falling out by the middle of the afternoon.

In response to this danger to the health of their students, several school systems across the nation told the First Lady what she could do with her non-nutritious Diet Plan, including the Liberal Bastion of New York State!

Most of the other First Ladies in my 59 years, such as our current one, Melania Trump, have brought a certain degree of class and decorum to their unelected position as “FLOTUS”.

Hillary Clinton being a notable exception.

Where that woman spits, grass never grows again.

But, I digress…

I tell you what.

First Lady Melania Trump speaks six different languages fluently and came here on a special Visa which they call the “Einstein” Visa. Plus, she always presents herself as an asset to our nation in public.

Why don’t we create “thousands” of her, instead?

Trump’s Melbourne Rally: “Rising Above the Noise and Clutter” (A KJ Sunday Morning Analysis)

“I’m not a politician, and have never wanted to be one. But when I saw the trouble our country was in, I knew I couldn’t stand by and watch any longer. Our country has been so good to me, I love our country, I felt I had to act,”

“Change has to come from outside this broken system. The fact that the Washington establishment has tried so hard to stop our campaign is only more proof that our campaign represents the kind of change that only arrives once in a lifetime,” he continued.

“I am asking the American people to rise above the noise and the clutter of our broken politics, and to embrace that great faith and optimism that has always been the central ingredient in the American character. I am asking you to dream big. – President Donald J. Trump

Foxnews.com reports that

President Trump returned Saturday to campaign mode — holding a rally in a Florida airport hangar in which he again railed against the “dishonest media” and repeated his promises to build a “beautiful” border wall, replace “disastrous” ObamaCare and other familiar lines that rallied him to an unexpected White House win.

The roughly 50-minute speech outside Melbourne, Florida, was quintessential Trump — with the president vowing to help disillusioned Americans find better jobs and live safer, while attacking the news media for unfavorable stories and calling it “a big part of the problem” toward his mission to “make America great again.”

“I am here to tell you about our great progress … and our incredible plans for our future,” said Trump, who since officially taking over the White House in late-January has been unable to hold campaign-style rallies. “I am here because I want to be among my friends and among my people. This was truly a great movement.”

Trump essentially picked up from where he left off during Thursday’s freewheeling, 77-minute press conference in which he accused reporters of knowingly writing incorrect stories to hurt his young administration and perpetuating damaging “fake news.”

“I also want to talk to you without the filters of fake news,” Trump told the estimated crowd of 9,000 at the Orlando Melbourne International Airport near Melbourne. “They have their own agenda.”

On Saturday, he also repeated what he said Thursday about his administration running like a “fine-tuned machine” and that he inherited “one big mess,” knocking back criticism about a rocky start and suggestions that he and his administration are working in coordination with Russia.

The Republican president visited Florida nearly two dozen times during the 2016 presidential campaign, winning the state after President Obama’s 2008 and 2012 victories.

“Thank you,” he said. “This is a state where we all had great victory together.”

The rally, which included about 2,500 protesters outside, also included the kind of unscripted, unconventional stage-craft that riveted voters for roughly 18 months.

This time, first lady Melania Trump started the rally with The Lord’s Prayer. And Trump brought supporter Gene Huber on stage to speak, then admitted such impromptu acts rattle the Secret Service agents who protect him.

Big rowdy events were the hallmark of Trump’s winning presidential campaign.

He has continued to do them, although with smaller crowds, throughout the early part of the transition, during what he called a “thank you” tour.

But until this week, Trump has mostly relied on Twitter to sidestep reporters and on spokespeople, who have struggled at times to deliver his agenda — including plans to temporarily ban travel from seven mostly Muslim nations — to a largely combative press corps.

The event Saturday was put on by Trump’s campaign, rather than the White House.

“I hear your demands. I hear your voices,” Trump said. “And I promise you, I will deliver.”

Asked if the rally was for the 2020 election, spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders called it “a campaign rally for America.”

Asked by reporters aboard Air Force One if a campaign rally was too early, Trump said that “life is a campaign” and that making America great again is a campaign. He added that “it’s not easy, especially when we’re also fighting the press and the media.”

The speech was not without Trump’s familiar, tough talk on crime, border security, radical Islamic terrorism and illegal immigration, too.

“I know you want safer neighborhoods where the streets belong to families and communities, not gang members and drug dealers who right now, as I speak, are being thrown out of the country and will not be let back in,” he said. “We will have strong borders. … Get them to hell out of here.”

As I write my analysis of this event, it is a little after 10:00 p.m. my time, and I am sitting at my computer in my man cave, having worked from 12:30-9:00p.m.on what is essentially my “Thursday”.

I’m tired.

To a struggling Middle Class 58-year old average American like myself, Donald J Trump, his actions, and the way that he has conducted himself since Inauguration Day is a much-appreciated breath of fresh air.

Here is this New York City Billionaire, handing over his companies to his kids, taking no salary, so that he can hold the hardest, most thankless job in the whole wide world, that of President of United States of America. A job which, by the way, he is refusing to take a salary for…unlike his predecessor.

But, I digress…

He is trying to keep all of his Campaign Promises, despite having to do battle everyday with an uncooperative Democrat Minority in Congress, who are trying their best to slow him down by delaying the approval of his Cabinet Picks.

Additionally, as he referenced at his rally yesterday, he is having to defend himself and his Administration from scurrilous attacks by the Purveyors of Fake News, publishing baseless story after baseless story, seemingly working in lockstep with Internet Liberal Trolls, paid and unpaid, who are posting these lies on social media like rabbits churning out baby bunnies.

Y’know, boys and girls, I have never seen a Political Ideology lose their collective shi…err…minds like the Far Left Liberals of the Democratic Party have.

I have never seen this many people show their backsides at the same time, since the streaking craze back when I was in high school in the 70s.

And, as I have chronicled, some of these idiots are actually getting paid for it.

Meanwhile, outside our Sovereign Nation, lies a Russian Spy Ship just off our coast, a bunch of Mad Radical Islamic Iranian Mullahs who want to kill all Americans, and a little punk dictator in North Korea with an itchy trigger finger .

And yet, there President Trump was, smiling, being positive about our country, while telling that crowd of average Americans like me, that WE ARE HIS FRIENDS.

What a change from his predecessor, who told us average Americans that IT WAS ALL OUR FAULT.

But again…I digress…

In fact, President Trump brought one of US up on that stage to stand with him, because HIS OPINION MATTERED.

Get that? WE MATTER!!!

But you know, boys and girls, what REALLY gives me HOPE on this Sunday Morning, as I prepare to attend the 9:00 a.m. Service at my local church with my wife and then, go and work for 8 hours?

The Beautiful First Lady, Melania Trump, before she introduced her husband, the President, led 9,000 Americans in a recitation of the Lord’s Prayer.

That glimmer of light, piercing the darkness, makes me believe that America’s going to be alright.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. – Psalm 33:12

Until He Comes,
