Special Counsel Mueller Hires Dem Donors. Is This an Investigative Staff or a “Firing Squad”?

untitled (148)

“This seems more like an effort to prosecute Donald Trump.”
“What the hell are we investigating?” “Why are we going through with this charade?” –  U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (R-Wis.)

Laura Ingraham’s website, lifezette.com reports that

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich sparked a mini-meltdown in the media Monday with a tweet challenging the fairness of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Gingrich, who also appeared on “The Laura Ingraham Show,” pointed to the early hires special counsel Robert Mueller has made.

“Republicans are delusional if they think the special counsel is going to be fair,” he tweeted. “Look who he is hiring.check fec [sic] reports. Time to rethink.”

He’s not wrong about the donations. Four top lawyers hired by Mueller have contributed tens of thousands of dollars over the years to the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates, including former President Barack Obama and President Donald Trump’s 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton.

One of the hires, Jeannie Rhee, also worked as a lawyer for the Clinton Foundation and helped persuade a federal judge to block a conservative activist’s attempts to force Bill and Hillary Clinton to answer questions under oath about operations of the family-run charity.

Campaign-finance reports show that Rhee gave Clinton the maximum contributions of $2,700 in 2015 and again last year to support her presidential campaign. She also donated $2,300 to Obama in 2008 and $2,500 in 2011. While still at the Justice Department, she gave $250 to the Democratic National Committee Services Corp.

Rhee also has contributed to a trio of Democratic senators: Mark Udall of New Mexico, Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, and Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island.

James Quarles, who worked on the Watergate investigation as a young prosecutor, has an even longer history of supporting Democratic politicians. He gave $1,300 to Obama in 2007 and $2,300 in 2008. He also gave $2,700 to Clinton last year.

He has supported a number of other Democratic candidates, including Van Hollen, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), former Rep. John Spratt (D-S.C.), former Vice President Al Gore, 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry, former Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), and Colorado congressional candidate Gail Schwartz.

In addition, Quarles gave money to former Sen. John Walsh (D-Mont.) and three current Democratic senators — Ron Wyden of Oregon, Ed Markey of Massachusetts, and Robert Menendez of New Jersey. He chipped in $300 to the DNC Services Corp. $300 in 2012.

Quarles did donate to a couple of GOP politicians — $250 to then-Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) in 2006 and $2,500 to Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) in 2015.

Andrew Weissmann, a former Justice Department lawyer who now is at Jenner & Block, contributed $2,300 to Obama in 2008 and $2,000 to the DNC Services Corp. in 2006. Weissmann served as chief of the Justice Department’s criminal fraud section and worked on the Enron fraud case.

A fourth lawyer on Mueller’s staff, Michael Dreeben, donated $1,000 to Clinton 2006 and $250 to Obama in both 2007 and 2008. He was deputy solicitor general and has appeared many times before the Supreme Court.

Media pundits generally dismissed concerns over the Democratic Party ties of the staff Mueller is building. Several Trump critics noted that Gingrich previously had tweeted that Mueller was a “superb choice to be special counsel” and that his reputation was “impeccable for honesty and integrity.”

Journalist Paul Vale, who has written for the Huffington Post and The Times of London, tweeted, “Boiled cabbage Gingrich lays out the White House plan to discredit career lawman Mueller — all in the service of his babbling paymaster.”

CNN anchor John King on Monday asked the network’s chief congressional correspondent, Manu Raju, if it should be a concern.

“No, because Bob Mueller is the one who’s in charge of this investigation and will ultimately decide how to proceed, and there is some oversight over him by [Deputy Attorney General] Rod Rosenstein, even though there is a special counsel,” he said.

When a representative of The Huffington Post or CNN defends someone’s integrity, the little hairs on the back of your neck should stand straight up.

The thing is Muller was appointed FBI Director by George W. Bush whom he served under for 10 years.

When Barack Hussein Obama became President, Mueller served under him for 2 more years.

His past, plus his present staff activity has lead me and others to throw up a red flag about this guy, fearing that he may be another Establishment Political Weasel like James Comey, who followed Mueller as Director of the FBI.

Why would a Special Counsel hire so many financial supporters of the Democratic Party to assist in investigating a matter which the Democratic Party has erroneously linked to a President?

Is Professional Bureaucrat Mueller putting together an Investigative Staff or a Firing Squad?

Trump rode the crest of an ever-growing anger over the inaction of Professional Politicians, whom, after being voted into National Office by their constituents back home, literally bit the hand that fed them, tossing Ma and Pa Kettle aside for Big Money Donors and the Political Prestige of “reaching across the aisle”, i.e.. “selling out”.

Conversely, Trump has always been a “people person”.

That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox news, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.

As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.

“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.

He knew that the only was to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Bypassing the borders to communication, historically determined by both political parties and the Main Stream Media, is a concept which I first witnessed being employed by a Presidential Candidate in the 1980 Presidential Election, named Ronald Wilson Reagan.

While I am not comparing the two, I am noting that this strategy has proved and is proving effective.

Trump is still striking a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the snobbish Political Elites refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”, despite what the purveyors of Fake News at Liberal Propaganda Factories like The Huffington Post and CNN might wish for you to believe.

It appears to this average American that Mueller, being well-connected in the Washington Establishment may be cut from the same cloth as Comey.

President Trump needs to go ahead and fire Mueller and appoint a new Special Prosecutor.

One Former FBI Director/Washington Establishment Political Weasel on his staff caused enough trouble already.

Comparing Generations: The Greatest Generation Vs. Generation Snowflake (A KJ Rant)

american-manhood

There has been a question gnawing at me for quite a while now. Ever since all of the Astroturf National Protests featuring the BLM, illegal aliens, and millennials in desperate need of a “safe space” started greeting average Americans like you and me when we turned on the television to watch the news.

If America was led by the likes of Modern American Liberals during the frightening days when Hitler rose to power after the Beer Hall Putsch and that faithful day of December 7, 1941, “a day which will live in infamy”, while at the same time the young Americans of that era were the millennials of today, would America have stood up the Axis of Evil?

Would the millennials that we are watching throwing hissy fits and railing against the President and traditional American Faith and Values on the Evening News and the Social Media have the guts to do what the Greatest Generation did?

Would Modern American Liberals be willing to make the sacrifices that my Daddy and Mother and the rest of their generation did?

I seriously doubt it.

There wouldn’t be long lines at the Armed Forces Recruitment Office trying to sign up to serve their country.

Heck, these days it is hard to get them to move out of their parents’ house, much less be willing to fight and die for their country.

There are those millennials out there who would rather defecate on our flag than to die for it.

And, while they talk a good game about being “Stronger Together”, when the rubber meets the road, it’s every man (or woman) for themselves.

Instead of the Greatest Generation, we are presently having to deal with the selfish “Generation Snowflake”.

It’s like watching an angry child in their Mom’s shopping cart at Walmart.

I want…I want…I…I…I…me…me…me…

No wonder they viewed Obama as their “messiah”.

As long as he had himself, he was never alone.

The last 48 hours have really driven this home to me.

Even with Former FBI Director Comey telling the world that President Donald J. Trump was not under investigation and did not collude with the Russians to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential Election, Generation Snowflake like the child at Walmart who is told that they are not getting a toy that  they see, firmly believes that if they keep crying, whining, and making stories up about how bad and evil that Trump is, somehow, Hillary Clinton, the deserving heir to their messiah, will magically become the President of the United States of America.

And, just like you have to tell a petulant child over and over again why they cannot have a toy, average Americans here in the Heartland are having to explain ad infinitum to  Generation Snowflake that WE are responsible for Donald J. Trump being the President of the United States of America.

There was no collusion.

There was no obstruction.

There was no Russian inference.

There WAS a visceral anger over the poor stewardship and performance of the Previous President and a deep and abiding concern for our children’s and grandchildren’s future.

And a lousy, unlikable Democratic Presidential Candidate who was and is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.

It is time for these precious snowflakes to understand that there are no safe spaces and you do not always get your way in this life.

It is time for the National Temper Tantrum to end.

And for those throwing it to place country over self.

Comey, Comey, Comey Chameleon: Comey’s Testimony Reveals Obstruction of Justice…But, It Wasn’t Under Trump

Nauseous-Comey-600a-LA (2)

In yesterday’s post, I wrote,

Today, the Constitution will stop the Lynch Mob.

Instead of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and Randolph Scott stopping an innocent man from a Lynch Mob, today’s heroes will be Jefferson, Franklin, and Madison.

I love it when I’m right.

Here’s a very good summary of Former Director Jim Comey’s testimony, courtesy of Laura Ingraham’s Lifezette.com

Former FBI Director James Comey said Thursday that he doubted President Donald Trump’s honesty and suggested that he made inappropriate requests of him regarding fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

At the same time, Comey reiterated before the Senate Intelligence Committee his written testimony, released Wednesday, that he had volunteered to Trump he was not a subject of the FBI’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election campaign. He also testified that Trump never asked him to stop the counterintelligence investigation.

Comey’s testimony Thursday was his first public appearance since his May 9 firing and one of the most widely anticipated hearings in recent memory. Long lines formed as people sought one of the limited number of seats in the hearing room.

Here are the main takeaways:

Trump was frustrated that Comey would not confirm in public what he was saying privately.

Comey acknowledged that he told Trump on three separate occasions — including unprompted the first time — that he was not under investigation. He testified that he briefed congressional leaders on Americans who were the subjects of the counterintelligence investigation.

“And we specifically said the president is not one of those Americans,” he said.

Comey confirmed this still was the case at the time of his dismissal.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) alluded to the frustration that Trump must have felt.

“Do you think it’s unreasonable for them to want the FBI director to publicly announce that so that this cloud over his administration could be publicly removed?” he asked.

Responded Comey: “I think that’s a reasonable point of view. The concern, obviously, would be is if that boomerang comes back, it’s going to be a very big deal, because there will be a duty to correct.”

Sen Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) questioned why that fact remained a secret for so long.

“You know this investigation is full of leaks left and right. I mean we’ve learned more from the newspapers sometimes than we do from our open hearings, for sure,” Rubio said. “You ever wonder why of all things in this investigation, the only thing that’s never been leaked is the fact that the president is not personally under investigation despite the fact that both Democrats and Republicans and leadership of Congress knew that and have known that for weeks?”

Comey responded that information given to the eight congressional leaders authorized for top-secret briefings generally is tightly held.

Comey tried to manipulate the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel.

For the first time, Comey explained how the contents of the memos he wrote documenting his interactions with Trump ended up on the front page of The New York Times.

Comey testified that he gave his memos to a friend who teaches at Columbia University’s law school and asked him to get them out in the public. And Comey made clear his motivation was not just to promote his side of the story.

“I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel,” he said.

In fact, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein did appoint a special counsel. Former FBI Director Robert Mueller now has control of the Russia investigation.

Two senators, Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and James Lankford (R-Okla.), both asked Comey to ask his friend to turn over the notes to the committee. Comey said he would.

Comey had great concerns about Trump’s conduct but kept those concerns to himself and a small circle of people at the FBI.

Comey said that he interpreted Trump’s request that Comey could see his “way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go” as more than a request.

“I took it as a direction … I didn’t obey that, but that’s how I took it,” he said.

Comey acknowledged, though, that it was not an explicit order.

“Not in his words, no,” he said.

Asked again by Sen. James Risch (R-Idaho), Comey said, “Again, those words are not an order.”

Comey also said he does not know of anyone being charged with obstruction of justice for expressing a desire for an outcome.

Comey said he does not know why he did not respond to Trump’s request in a stronger way by insisting that the conversation was inappropriate.

“Maybe if I were stronger, I would have,” he said. “I was so stunned by the conversation that I just took it in.”

Comey didn’t accept the initial explanation of his firing.

Comey testified that he recognized that the president has the authority to fire the FBI director for any reason or no reason at all.

“But then the explanations, the shifting explanations, confused me and increasingly concerned me,” he said. “They confused me because the president and I had multiple conversations about my job and he had repeatedly told me I was doing a great job and had hoped I would stay.”

Comey said he also was upset that the administration “then chose to defame me and more importantly the FBI.”

About the White House description of the FBI being in disarray, he said, “Those were lies, plain and simple.”

Comey said it was for Mueller, not him, to conclude whether Trump’s request regarding Flynn amounts to obstruction.

Comey was troubled by the conduct of then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch during the investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information.

Comey said that Lynch directed him to call the Clinton probe a “matter” and not an investigation. He said he was troubled when the Clinton campaign for president started using that same language.

“It gave the impression that the attorney general was looking to align the way we talked about our work with the way a political campaign was describing the same activity, which was inaccurate,” he said. “We had a criminal investigation open … That gave me a queasy feeling.”

That, Comey said, is one of the reasons he decided to call a news conference in July announcing that he was recommending no charges in the case. That news conference broke with Justice Department protocol.

First things first.

About that queasy feeling when AG Lynch told you to call the Clinton E-mail/Clinton Foundation Investigation a “matter”, Former Director Comey: Why didn’t you tell somebody that you have reservations about it?

Why didn’t you accuse her and her boss, President Obama, of Obstruction of Justice?

Rush Limbaugh revealed the answer to my question on his program yesterday:

Comey’s out there giving red meat to all sides. In the process, though, this guy’s doing some amazing things. He’s admitting that he’s a coward. He admitted that he let Loretta Lynch shape the language used in describing the Hillary investigation. He has admitted that she pressured him to do that and that he fell for her pressure. He has admitted to orchestrating a memo leak! You know, the famous memos that Comey was said to have? When we first heard about Comey’s memos, we were told that Comey had, as a general practice throughout all of his years as a lawyer — after big meetings — that he would memorialize what had happened, who had said what, as an exercise in remembering what was said or in preserving the record should there be disputes.

We were told that he’d been doing this for quite a while, which led me to ask publicly here, “Man, I’d like to see some of the memos he wrote after conversations with Obama.” Well, then we learned that he never had but two conversations with Obama and really only one. The second one was when Obama called to say good-bye after he was leaving office, and the other time was talking about — I forget — whatever it was. But I’m sitting here thinking, is this…?

We’re supposed to believe with Obama over there in the White House and Eric Holder here as attorney general, then Loretta Lynch, that Comey (chuckling) never, never was aware what Obama wanted? It’s kind of like Lois Lerner. Everybody was saying they hoped they’d find the smoking gun memo that directed her to discriminate against Tea Party groups at the IRS. You’re never gonna find that because one’s not needed. Obama hires like-minded people who know what to do without having to be told.

I think Comey is shaping up to be one of these people.

Yep. Of course he is.

Obama hired him.

Comey is a Professional Bureaucrat. He is a Political Weasel.

He remained loyal to King Barack The First after President Trump decided to keep him on as FBI Director.

That is why he took notes in meetings with Trump and did not document his meetings with anyone in the Previous Administration, including Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

So, where do we stand, one day removed from Comey’s testimony, boys and girls?

What have we learned?

Just as anyone with any common sense whatsoever has been saying from the get-go…

There is no “there”, there.

No Trump/Russia Collusion

No Obstruction of Just by President Trump

The Democrats, from the moment that Hillary and Podesta came up with the Trump/Russian Collusion Strategy on the night of November 8, 2016, actually expectedaverage Americans to believe that the 63 million of us who voted for Donald J., Trump were somehow made to do so by the Russians.

They refused to smell what they were shoveling.

Trump carried 31 out of 50 states. Those weren’t Russians out there voting in America’s Heartland.

Average Americans, disgusted with the bias of the Main Stream Media, used the Social Media to spread the truth about the Democrats and their Presidential Candidate. I didn’t see any Russians showing their cat videos or influencing Americans as to how to vote on Facebook.

It wasn’t a Russian who called us all “Deplorables”. It was the “The Queen of Mean”, Hillary Clinton herself.

Average Americans, from the Rust Belt to the Bible Belt, were familiar with Mrs. Clinton. They knew who she was and what she was. They knew that she would walk 20 miles across the scorching desert sand to tell a lie rather than step across one of Obama’s infamous Red Lines and tell the truth. Hillary has no one to blame but herself for losing the Presidency to Donald J. Trump.

All of the paid and unpaid Internet Trolls, all of the Pajamaboys living in Mom’s Basements, that you can see in Walmarts across the country in their Avengers pajama bottoms, watching as their 80 year-old Mom buys them a video game for their PlayStation 4, need to move on and somehow get a life.

Yesterday, it was confirmed that the Russians did not cost Hillary the election.

I did…along with 63 million other average Americans exercising our Constitutional Right to determine the future of our Sovereign Nation.

And, I am proud to have been able to stand with them to do the right thing in order to

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Clinton Continues Blaming Everyone But Herself For Losing the 2016 Presidential Election

2

Hillary Clinton is not that fascinating a person. According to those who have spent time with her, she’s harsh and demanding. According to those who haven’t – like her husband – she’s a delight. – Ben Shapiro

Laura Ingraham’s News and Information Website, Lifezette.com, reports that

Hillary Clinton spoke to Goldman Sachs for the very simple reason that she got paid, the former Democratic presidential candidate told an audience at Recode’s annual coding conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Clinton took the opportunity to blame numerous players for her Nov. 8 election defeat, and also to justify her use of the term “vast right-wing conspiracy” all the way back in 1998. The “conspiracy” against her, she suggested, is still alive.

“The Russians … could not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been … guided by Americans. And guided by people who had polling and data and information.”

Clinton, speaking to Recode founders Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher, said she didn’t lose because of her own choices or flaws — such as taking money to speak to big banks, or her odd failure to substantially campaign in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

“I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that’s not why I lost,” said Clinton, blaming Russia, “weaponized information,” the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United, and many more players.

Clinton blamed propaganda and “content” that was used by President Donald Trump’s campaign and allies to influence voters in a covert type of manner.

Clinton blamed “the other side” for using “content farms” and fake news to target her.

“How about lies?” said Mossberg, to applause from the liberal-leaning audience.

While Clinton told Mossberg and Swisher she did not engage in lies during her campaign, she said Trump’s side did. Clinton also raised the theory that “1,000 Russian agents” were working every day to make sure that distorted “content” was appearing before internet users. Clinton did not cite her source for the claim.

Another bizarre claim Clinton made was that Trump advisers Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway were chosen to run the final months of the Trump campaign because of the urging of Cambridge Analytica, which is owned by billionaire Rebecca Mercer and family. The Mercers said they would “wed” their data with the RNC and Trump’s data if the hires were made.

Bannon and Conway did not immediately return a request from LifeZette to respond.

Clinton also blamed the Democratic National Committee for being in poor shape, after eight years of what should have been salad days for the party, given former President Barack Obama’s tenure.

“I set up my campaign, and we have our own data operation,” said Clinton. “I get the nomination. So I’m now the nominee of the Democratic party. I inherit nothing from the Democratic party. I mean, it was bankrupt. It was on the verge of insolvency. Its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong. I had to inject money into it.”

The question of data was on Clinton’s mind, quite a bit, and not just because she was at a coding conference. Clinton laid out a three-part conspiracy in which weaponized information was coordinated on Facebook and elsewhere. Clinton came very close to suggesting Cambridge Analytica coordinated with the Russians.

The three-part conspiracy started, Clinton said, when the Russians stole information from the Democrats and Clinton’s campaign manager, John Podesta.

The next step was coordination, Clinton said. There was no possible way, Clinton said, that the Russians would know how to distribute the information in the most damaging way, without American help. (Clinton brushed aside the fact that WikiLeaks began leaking the information on Oct. 7, because she said WikiLeaks is the same thing as the Russian secret service.)

“The Russians, in my opinion, and based on the intel and counterintel people I’ve talked to, could not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been guided,” said Clinton. “Guided by Americans. And guided by people who had polling and data and information.”

Then came FBI Director James Comey’s decision to order a new investigation into Clinton’s email server on Oct. 28. Clinton had gotten into trouble in 2015 for running State Department emails through her private server.

Clinton said Comey acted upon false Russian information to order the new investigation just before the election.

Clinton said she is “leaning” in the direction of blaming Trump for the coordination and the fake news.

“I think it’s pretty hard not to,” said Clinton.

I honestly believe that Hillary Rodham Clinton has never taken any blame for any failure in her life.

Not even for Bubba’s philandering.

Boys and girls, her maniacal statements in this interview show us exactly where thes cockamamie Russian Collusion Story came from.

It came from her and her lackey, Podesta, immediately after she got drubbed by Donald J. Trump on November 8, 2016.

Her alcohol-riddled mind simply could not cope with the reality that average Americans believe that she stinks on ice.

She ran a lousy campaign, in which she spouted epitaphs and insults aimed at the very Americans whose confidence she needed to gain in our to be elected President: the Middle C;lass.

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic—you name it.”

Hillary is a sociopath, who envisioned herself to be smarter than everybody else, above the law, and White House-bound, because she believed that she was going to be handed the Presidency, simply because “it’s her turn”.

Oopsie.

Americans disagreed.

The name Hillary Rodham Clinton will become synonymous with the untrustworthy nature of professional politicians.

A President of the United States must be trustworthy, not only for the reassurance of its citizens that they will do the right thing when a crisis occurs, but also for the assurance of our overseas allies, that we will have their backs in case of a crisis in their nation.

Whether the revelation of “the gift” of massive quantities of Uranium to the Russians or the formation of an Iranian Connection, as a result of money given to the Clinton Foundation,  as was previously  reported in 2015, or this recent revelation involving “dual-staffer” Cheryl Mills, this is not just a scandal involving money and unscrupulous political ladder-climbing through the peddling of “favors”, the actions of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State crossed the line into the abhorrent abyss of a Conflict of Interest involving possible Treason.

Time and time again, from Watergate to Travelgate to Benghazigate, and Emailgate, Hillary Clinton proved to be a ruthless, untrustworthy, Machiavellian professional politician, who only cared about herself and her ascension to the Presidency of the United States of America.

In conclusion, it was not just one incident which cost Hillary Clinton the Presidency .

It was A LIFETIME OF LIES.

Average Americans, from the Rust Belt to the Bible Belt, were familiar with Mrs. Clinton.

They knew who she was and what she was.

They knew that she would walk 20 miles across the scorching desert sand to tell a lie rather than step across on of Obama’s infamous Red Lines and tell the truth.

Hillary has no one to blame but herself for losing to Donald J. Trump.

But, of course, she never will.

For, after all, accepting responsibility for one’s words and actions is as repulsive to a Modern American Liberal as a Crucifix is to a Vampire.

So, perhaps Hillary will come up with more excuses for losing the 2016 Presidential Election, but, to quote the Former First Lady herself,

What difference at this point does it make?

Hillary Covertly Calls For Trump Impeachment in Commencement Address. Irony is Embarrassed.

hillary-clinton-used-her-college-commencement-speech-to-extensively-troll-trump

Hillary Clinton is an unemployed Professional Politician.

From the time that she spent behind the scenes of her husband’s political career in Arkansas to the days she occupied the White House as “Co-President” to her days as Senator from the State of New York to her defeat as the Democratic Presidential Candidate in the November 8th, 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton engaged in political activities involving corruption and downright criminality that would make Machiavelli blush.

A fact which makes what she said while making a commencement speech to college students yesterday all the more ironic and hypocritical.

Foxnews.com reports that

Hillary Clinton delivered the commencement address at her alma mater, Wellesley College, on Friday, using the speech to criticize President Donald Trump and his policies.

Without naming Trump by name, she implicitly compared him to former President Richard Nixon while talking about her own graduation from Wellesley in 1969.

“We were furious about the past presidential election of a man whose presidency would eventually end in disgrace for impeachment for obstruction of justice, after firing the person running the investigation into him at the Department of Justice,” Clinton said to cheers and applause.

“But here’s what I want you to know: We got through that tumultuous time,” she continued.

She went on to criticize the Trump administration’s use of “alternative facts.”

“When people in power invent their own facts and attack those who question them, it can mark the beginning of the end of a free society,” Clinton said. “That is not hyperbole, it is what authoritarian regimes throughout history have done.”

Despite her criticism of Trump, Clinton finished her remarks on a note of optimism.

“I believe in you with all my heart,” she said to the all-female graduating class. “I want you to believe in yourselves. So go forth, be great, but first, graduate. Congratulations!”

The utterly humiliated Former Democratic Presidential Candidate has forgotten that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

That woman has more baggage than was lost on the Titanic.

Let’s take a magical journey through the sunken cargo hold of barnacle-covered scandals that is the political History of Hillary Clinton, shall we?

Rose Law Firm Billing – As I wrote previously, in 1978, while Bubba was Attorney General of Arkansas, Hil and he partnered with James and Susan McDougal in a purchase 220 acres of land that would evolve into the Whitewater Development Corporation. The real estate venture tanked, costing the Clintons a reported $40,000 in losses. After that James McDougal went into the banking industry, forming Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan.

In 1986, federal regulators investigated another real estate investment backed by James McDougal. The investigation led to McDougal’s resignation from Madison Guaranty and the eventual collapse of the bank. Questions surrounding the Clintons’ involvement in the Whitewater deal grew during President Clinton’s first term in office and an investigation into the legality of the Whitewater transactions was launched.

After nearly two years of searches and subpoenas, the White House announced on the evening of January 6, 1996, that it had unexpectedlydiscovered copies of missing documents from the Rose Law Firm that describe Hillary Rodham Clinton’s work for a failing savings and loan association in the 1980′s.

Federal and Congressional investigators had issued subpoenas for the documents since 1994, and the White House claimed not have them. The originals disappeared from the Rose Law Firm, shortly before Bill Clinton was inaugurated as President.

The newly discovered documents were copies of billing records from the Rose firm. The originals were found under the Clintons’ bed in the White House, shortly after the statute of limitations ran out.

All subsequent inquiries into the Whitewater land deal yielded insufficient evidence to charge the Clintons with criminal conduct. However, several of their associates were convicted as a result of the investigations.

Death of Vince Foster – On July 20, 1993, Vincent W. Foster Jr., the deputy counsel to the president of the United States, and former partner with Hillary, in The Rose Law Firm, was found lying neatly face-up on a steep embankment in Marcy Park with his feet pointing down, dressed in expensive trousers and a white dress shirt, less than eight miles from the White House, with a single gun-shot wound to the head. Dead. Some of the blood on Foster’s face was still wet, but starting to dry. A trail of blood flowed upwards from his nose to above his ear. The man who found his body said there was no gun, but after he left to notify police, a gun appeared in Foster’s hand. President William Jefferson Clinton’s Arkansas childhood friend, First Lady Hillary Clinton’s Rose Law Firm partner, and White House confidante’s death was to become the subject of controversy.

Due to Foster’s involvement in Whitewater, both at Rose and in the White House, the Senate Whitewater Committee investigation’s conclusion revealed that there was “a concerted effort by senior White House officials to block career law enforcement investigators from conducting a thorough investigation” into Foster’s death, and recommended “that steps be taken to insure that such misuse of the White House counsel’s office does not recur in this, or any future, administration.”

So, was Vince Foster murdered? And, why?

In 1999, a book titled, “Bill and Hillary: The Marriage”, caused a lot of consternation among the Clintons and their supporters.

The author, Christopher Andersen, claimed that in 1977 she began an intensely passionate affair with Vince Foster.

The affair supposedly took place when the two were lawyers at The Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, Arkansas, while Bubba was governor.

Rumors of an affair first started buzzing around after Foster was found in Marcy Park. The book did not say when the relationship ended.

To this day, the circumstances surrounding the death of Vince Foster, remain a topic for conjecture.

Travelgate – In early summer of 1993, 6 employees of the White House Travel Office were fired, after Hil and Bubba determined that the Travel Office workers, who served at the pleasure of the president, could be fired and that the Travel Office business, and the commissions that came along with it, Coulée be taken over by a cousin of President Clinton’s, Catherine Cornelius, who already owned her own travel agency.

However, they could not just go ahead and hand over a governmental office to a relative, without a backlash, so the Clintons made up a story, claiming that the Travel Office was rife with corruption and the workers there had to be fired. An audit of the Travel Office ensued, and while the record-keeping at the office was found to have been pretty inadequate, no corruption or embezzlement were found. That did not matter to the Clintons, so they went ahead and pressured the FBI to make arrests, and the local US Attorney was given instructions to prosecute the employees for corruption.

Of course, the Clintons denied being behind any sort of scheme in the matter. However, leaks by those involved, led to a firestorm of media criticism. Most of the Travel Office employees were eventually given other government jobs or retired and the trial for corruption of the head of the Travel Office, Billy Dale, ended in a verdict of “NOT GUILTY”.

Clinton’s cousin was subsequently removed as new head of the Travel Office.

Afterward, Independent Counsel Robert Ray wrote a report that concluded that, while she did not make any knowingly-false statements under oath, First Lady Hillary Clinton had made a number of inaccurate statements concerning the firings and her role in them.

Bimbo Eruptions – Back in the Bill Clinton era, White House advisor Betsey Wright coined the term “bimbo eruptions” to describe a long list of presidential gal pals.

BIll “Bubba” Clinton’s Bimbo List” included, but is not limited to (I’m sure) Jennifer Flowers, Former Miss America Elizabeth Ward, Paul Corbin Jones, and, of course, Monica Lewinsky.

The Lewinsky scandal was a sensation that enveloped the presidency of Bill Clinton in 1998–99, leading to his impeachment by the U.S. House of Representatives and acquittal by the Senate.

Paula Corbin Jones, a former Arkansas state worker who claimed that Bill Clinton had accosted her sexually in 1991 when he was governor of Arkansas, had brought a sexual harassment lawsuit against the president. In order to show a pattern of behavior on Clinton’s part, Jones’s lawyers questioned several women believed to have been engaging in sex  with him. On Jan. 17, 1998, Bubba took the stand, becoming the first sitting president to testify as a civil defendant.

During this testimony, Clinton denied having had an affair with Monica S. Lewinsky, an unpaid intern and later a paid staffer at the White House who worked in the White House from 1995–96. Lewinsky had earlier, in a deposition in the same case, also denied having such a relationship. Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel in the Whitewater case, had already received tape recordings made by Linda R. Tripp (a former coworker of Lewinsky’s) of telephone conversations in which Lewinsky described her involvement with the president. Asserting that there was a “pattern of deception,” Starr obtained from Attorney General Janet Reno permission to investigate the matter.

The president publicly denied having had a relationship with Lewinsky and charges of covering it up. His adviser, Vernon Jordan, denied having counseled Lewinsky to lie in the Jones case, or having arranged a job for her outside Washington, to help cover up the affair. Hillary Clinton claimed that a “vast right-wing conspiracy” was trying to destroy her husband, while Republicans and conservatives portrayed him as immoral and a liar.

In March, Jordan and others testified before Starr’s grand jury, and lawyers for Paula Jones released papers revealing, among other things, that Clinton, in his January deposition, had admitted to a sexual relationship in the 1980s with Arkansas entertainer Gennifer Flowers, a charge he had long denied. In April, however, Arkansas federal judge Susan Webber Wright dismissed the Jones suit, ruling that Jones’s story, if true, showed that she had been exposed to “boorish” behavior but not sexual harassment; Jones appealed.

In July, Starr granted Lewinsky immunity from perjury charges, and Clinton agreed to testify before the grand jury. He did so on Aug. 17, then went on television to admit the affair with Lewinsky and ask for forgiveness. In September, Starr sent a 445-page report to the House of Representatives, recommending four possible grounds for impeachment: perjury, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and abuse of authority.

On Dec. 19, Clinton became the second president (after Andrew Johnson) to be impeached, on two charges: perjury—in his Aug., 1998, testimony—and obstruction of justice. The vote in the House was largely along party lines.

In Jan., 1999, the trial began in the Senate. On Feb. 12, after a trial in which testimony relating to the charges was limited, the Senate rejected both counts of impeachment. The perjury charge lost, 55–45, with 10 Republicans joining all 45 Democrats in voting against it; the obstruction charge drew a 50–50 vote. Subsequently, on Apr. 12, Judge Wright, who had dismissed the Jones case, found the president in contempt for lying in his Jan., 1998, testimony, when he denied the Lewinsky affair. In July, Judge Wright ordered the president to pay nearly $90,000 to Ms. Jones’s lawyers. On Jan. 19, 2001, the day before he left office, President Clinton agreed to admit to giving false testimony in the Jones case and to accept a five-year suspension of his law license and a $25,000 fine in return for an agreement by the independent counsel, Robert W. Ray (Starr’s successor), to end the investigation and not prosecute him.

In a later interview, Hillary claimed that Bill suffered childhood abuse which may have caused him to philanderer and experience “bimbo eruptions” later in life. She described her philandering husband as “a hard dog to keep on the porch”.

Fast forwarding to her most recent scandals…

What Americans witnessed during the FBI’s lackadaisical investigation of Hillary Clinton’s Scandal known as E-mailgate, was an unequal application of the rule of law as applies to Professional Politicians in general and, in this case, specifically, a former member of the Obama Administration.

Leading up to that fateful day on which Hillary Clinton’s unholy quest for power got derailed, the CBS Morning News presented a poll in which 60% of Americans believed that Clinton lied about her mishandling of emails containing top secret information which could have potentially put the lives of our military and covert operatives at risk.

Now, that was a CBS poll, which of course is weighted heavily in favor of Liberals, so you can imagine how folks like you and me out here in Flyover Country feel about the situation to this very day.

On top of that was the Clinton Foundation Scandal…

Senior foundation officials coordinated with the State Department to give “Friends of Bill” Clinton preferential treatment during earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti in 2010, according to emails obtained by the Republican National Committee through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

Canadian mining magnate Frank Giustra pledged $100 million to the foundation in 2005 and later benefited from the foundation’s work in Colombia, where he used the land he acquired in the country to set up an oil business, according to the Post.

The foundation has received millions of dollars from foreign governments such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Canada, Sweden and Ireland.

But donations to the foundation have dropped by 37 percent to $108 million last year after allegations that Hillary Clinton used the charity to solicit million-dollar donations from foreign governments and corporations in exchange for favorable treatment from the State Department while Hillary was Secretary of State.

Hillary Clinton left the Clinton Foundation in April 2015 to run for president.

Our government was never meant to be a feudal system. America remains a Constitutional Republic.

American  Politicians were never meant to be Lords, who would remain in power in perpetuity. Our Founding Fathers envisioned Citizen Statesman, who after serving their country and their communities for a short period of time, would return to their homes, to their families, and to their trades.

The Democrats wanted to rule our nation in perpetuity and are throwing a never-ending National Temper Tantrum, which they have named “The Resistance”, over the fact that average Americans, like you and me, ruined the best-laid plans of mice and Pajama-boys by electing Donald J. Trump to be the 45th President of the United States of America.

Hillary’s “covert” talk of impeachment is just that” talk.

For all of the Liberal’s “concern of Trump, they have yet to show evidence of collusion with the Russians nor evidence of a crime which he has committed.

And, for Hillary to be encouraging a continued division of America, is the biggest display of sour grapes that America has ever seen.

Like Golem went into the volcano after his “Precious”, so the Liberal Democrats, including Hillary, are ending their political lives with their quest to overthrow the wish of the American People to have Donald J. Trump as our 45th President.

And, they have no one to blame but themselves.

What If “Professional Sexter” Anthony Weiner Was Not the Only Relative Whom Huma Abedin Shared Clinton’s E-mails With?

hillary-huma-bill-clinton-huma-perverts

Do you realize that if The Queen of Mean, Hillary Rodham Clinton, had won the election, that her BFF, Huma Abedin, would have played a key role in her Administration?

Please allow me to tell you why America dodged more than one bullet on November 8, 2016.

The New York Post reports that

Huma Abedin on Thursday refused to explain why she sent classified emails to her disgraced hubby Anthony Weiner when confronted by The Post.

Hillary Clinton’s top aide, wearing shades and a colorful scarf, ignored a reporter’s repeated questions after she left the subway station in Times Square — instead staring straight ahead with a smirk on her face.

“Do you have any comment on what James Comey said yesterday during the hearings?” a reporter asked, referring to the FBI director’s testimony Wednesday.

Comey had told a Senate panel that Abedin broke the law but was not charged because she was clueless that what she was doing was illegal.

Abedin’s smirk gave way to a clenched jaw when she was asked if she felt at least partially responsible for Clinton’s defeat since it was her misuse of the emails that prompted Comey to reopen the probe just days before the election.

Clinton earlier this week blamed Comey’s decision, among other factors, for her stunning loss to Donald Trump.

“Did you know that what you were doing was illegal? Mr. Comey said you weren’t aware of that,” The Post asked as Abedin walked away, heels clicking on the pavement.

She also declined to respond when asked why she would send classified emails to Weiner, who was forced to resign from Congress after the first of several sexting scandals was revealed.

She left her building at 1 Irving Place at roughly 10:15 a.m., ducked into the Union Square station and took a northbound N train to Times Square.

Comey said Wednesday that Abedin forwarded thousands of emails from Clinton to Weiner as a “matter of convenience” so he could print them out because her boss preferred reading information on paper.

“Somehow, her emails were being forwarded to Anthony Weiner, including classified information,” Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee. “His then-spouse Huma Abedin appears to have had a regular practice of forwarding emails to him for him to print out for her so she could deliver them to the secretary of state.”

Comey confirmed the FBI investigated Abedin, but concluded she did nothing criminally wrong.

Now, I might be totally wrong, but I wonder if the “King of Selfies-That-No-One-Wanted-to-See” Anthony Weiner was the only member of Huma’s family seeing these classified e-mailed regarding America’s Foreign Policy?

For those of you who are not aware of  Ms. Abedin’s troubling past and familial connections, here are some bullet points, courtesy of discoverthenetworks.org…

Huma Abedin was born in 1976 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

…From 1997 until sometime before early 1999, Abedin, while still interning at the White House, was an executive board member of George Washington University’s (GWU) Muslim Students Association (MSA), heading the organization’s “Social Committee.”

It is noteworthy that in 2001-02, soon after Abedin left that executive board, the chaplain and “spritual guide” of GWU’s MSA was Anwar al-Awlaki, the al Qaeda operative who ministered to some of the men who were among the 9/11 hijackers. Another chaplain at GWU’s MSA (from at least October 1999 through April 2002) was Mohamed Omeish, who headed the International Islamic Relief Organization, which has been tied to the funding of al Qaeda.

[As detailed in the previous article] From 1996-2008, Abedin was employed by the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA) as the assistant editor of its in-house publication, the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs (JMMA).

****At least the first seven of those years overlapped with the al Qaeda-affiliated Abdullah Omar Naseef’s active presence at IMMA. Abedin’s last six years at the Institute (2002-2008) were spent as a JMMA editorial board member; for one of those years, 2003, Naseef and Abedin served together on that board.****

Abedin went on maternity leave after giving birth to a baby boy in early December 2011. When she returned to work in June 2012, the State Department granted her an arrangement that allowed her to do outside consulting work as a “special government employee,” even as she remained a top advisor in the Department. Abedin did not disclose on her financial report either the arrangement or the$135,000 she earned from it, in violation of a law mandating that public officials disclose significant sources of income. Abedin’s outside clients included the U.S. State Department, Hillary Clinton, the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation, and Teneo (a firm co-founded by Doug Band, a former counselor for Bill Clinton). Good-government groups warned of the potential conflict-of-interest inherent in an arrangement where a government employee maintains private clients.

On February 1, 2013—Hillary Clinton’s final day as Secretary of State—Abedin resigned her post as Mrs. Clinton’s deputy chief of staff. Yet she would continue to serve as a close aide to Clinton.

On March 1, 2013, Abedin was tapped to run Clinton’s post-State Department transition team, comprised of a six-person “transition office” located in Washington.

Huma Abedin’s brother, Hassan Abedin, has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and is currently an associate editor with the JMMA. Hassan was once a fellow at the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies, at a time when the Center’s board included such Brotherhood-affiliated figures as Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Abdullah Omar Naseef.

Huma’s sister, Heba Abedin (formerly known as “Heba A. Khaled”), is an assistant editor with JMMA, where she served alongside Huma prior to the latter’s departure.

It is a measure of the height of willful ignorance on the part of President Barack Hussein Obama and Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that during the time of Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State, someone with direct ties to our sworn enemies, the Muslim Brotherhood, had access to the highest level of Top Secret Information contained in our State Department, being sent to her over Secretary Clinton’s own unsecured e-mail Server.

And, the thing is, she not only had access through her job as Assistant to Secretary of State Clinton, she also had access to government information through pillow talk with her husband, then-Congressman and “Professional Sexter” Anthony Weiner.

During the Primaries,  Fox News reported that

Huma Abedin, the longtime confidant to Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton, took aim at Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States in an email with the subject line: “I’m a proud Muslim.”

“Donald Trump is leading in every national poll to be the Republican nominee for president. And earlier today, he released his latest policy proposal: to ban all Muslims from entering our country,” wrote Ms. Abedin, in an email Monday evening to Mrs. Clinton’s supporters. “I’m a proud Muslim — but you don’t have to share my faith to share my disgust.”

Being the “proud Muslim” that she has proclaimed herself to be, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that this information found its way to her “troubling Familial Affiliations”?

Which brings up a troubling question:

Considering her familial ties, how deeply was Ms. Abedin involved in “BenghaziGate”?

Just how many secrets did Ms. Abedin pass along to her family?

I believe that this is certainly a concern worth investigating by the Trump  Administration.

The old axiom is true. We ARE judged by the company that we keep…and Hillary is no exception.

Ms. Abedin will certainly not be missed in our Federal Government.

She should never have been a part of it in the first place.

Until He Comes,

Welcome to “The Age of the Deplorables”: President Trump’s Pennsylvania Rally (A KJ Sunday Morning Analysis)

Trump-Rally-tonight-in-Harrisburg-PA-640x417

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.” – Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton, September 16, 1916

Foxnews.com reports that

President Trump hosted a patriotic rally in Pennsylvania Saturday with thousands of supporters to mark the promises made and promises kept during his first 100 days of action in the White House.

“There is no place I would rather be than right here in Pennsylvania to celebrate our 100-day milestone to reflect on an incredible journey together and to get ready for the great, great battles to come and that we will win in every case,” the president told an enthusiastic throng in Harrisburg. “Make no mistake, we are just beginning in our fight to make America great again!”

Vice President Mike Pence introduced the president as “a man of his word and a man of action,” acknowledging their 2016 “big, beautiful victory” in the blue-leaning state.

This was, of course, miles away from the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, which Trump ceremoniously said he would not attend, amid his repeated accusations about “fake news” and a press corps of “dishonest media” eager to challenge his agenda. At the start of the rally, Trump told the roaring crowd that more than half of Americans say that the media is out of touch with everyday people.

His return to Pennsylvania was a thank you, like the one he delivered to Florida voters last month in Tampa. To screams and cheers, the President said “now arrives the hour of action” –rallying his base with the credo: “Buy American and hire American!”

“For the last 100 days my administration has been delivering every single day for the great citizens of our country, whether it’s putting our coal miners back to work, protecting America’s steel and aluminum workers, or eliminating job killing regulations, we are keeping one promise after another and frankly the people are really happy about it,” Trump said.

“The previous administration gave us a mess. For decades our country has lived through the greatest jobs’ theft in the history of the world. Our factories were shuttered. Our steel mills closed down,” he said. “Our jobs were stolen away and shipped far away to other countries, some of which you have never even heard of. Politicians sent troops to protect the borders of foreign nations but left America’s borders wide open for all to violate.”

Trump also listed several accomplishments including getting Judge Neil Gorsuch appointed to the Supreme Court with relative ease in a politically divided Senate as well as approval of the Keystone pipeline.

As I write my analysis of this event, it is 10:46 p.m. Central, and I am sitting at my computer in my man cave, having worked from 12:30 to 9:30p.m. on what is essentially my “Thursday”.

I’m tired.

To a struggling Middle Class 58-year old average American like myself, Donald J Trump, his actions, and the way that he has conducted himself since Inauguration Day is a much-appreciated breath of fresh air.

Here is this New York City Billionaire, handing over his companies to his kids, taking no salary, so that he can hold the hardest, most thankless job in the whole wide world, that of President of United States of America. A job which, by the way, he is refusing to take a salary for…unlike his predecessor.

But, I digress…

He is trying to keep all of his Campaign Promises, despite having to do battle everyday with an uncooperative Democrat Minority in Congress, who are trying their best to sabotage him every single day in every single way that their Liberally-corrupt minds can think of.

Additionally, as he referenced at his rally Saturday Night, he is having to defend himself and his Administration from scurrilous attacks by the Purveyors of Fake News, still, after 100 days, publishing baseless story after baseless story, seemingly working in lockstep with Internet Liberal Trolls, paid and unpaid, who are posting these lies on social media like rabbits churning out baby bunnies and attacking the President like the mindless bots they are the moment that he posts a tweet on Twitter.

Y’know, boys and girls, as I have noted previously, I have never seen a Political Ideology lose their collective shi…err…minds like the Far Left Liberals of the Democratic Party have.

I have never seen this many people show their backsides at the same time, since the streaking craze back when I was in high school in the 70s.

And, as I have chronicled, some of these idiots are actually getting paid for it.

Meanwhile, outside our Sovereign Nation, in the little country of North Korea, a pudgy little  named Kim Jong Un is purposefully trying to pick a fight with us by threatening us with nuclear annihilation.

And yet, there President Trump was, smiling, being positive about our country, while telling that crowd of average Americans like me, that WE ARE HIS FRIENDS.

What a change from his predecessor, who told us average Americans that IT WAS ALL OUR FAULT.

But again…I digress…

In fact, at a previous rally in Melbourne, Florida, President Trump brought one of US up on that stage to stand with him, because HIS OPINION MATTERED.

Get that? WE MATTER!!!

The hopes and dreams of average Americans have not mattered for the last 8 years.

While spoiled, ungrateful college kids and Internet Trolls continue to cry, whine, and cling to fake news stories about “horrible ” president Trump is, those of us out here in “Realityville”, as Rush Limbaugh calls “Real Life” in America’s Heartland, are relishing the fact that we (not the Russians) elected a President who means what he says and says what he means.

The “Age of the Special Interest Groups” passed when the Obamas left the White House.

Welcome to the “Age of the ‘Deplorables'”. (Otherwise known as “Average Americans”.)

And, the great thing is…

President Trump is just getting started!

Until He Comes,

L.A. Times, Still Throwing a Temper Tantrum Over the Election, Begins a Series of Articles “Defending Democracy” By Relentlessly Attacking President Trump

Media-Wolf-NRD-600

Years ago, there were a couple of movies titled “Escape From New York” and “Escape From L.A.”. In these movies, Kurt Russell played Snake Plissken, an anti-hero loner, who was forced by those in charge of the country to enter these two cities, which had been isolated from the rest of the nation in a future time.

Considering the strife which our nation is facing right now, emanating from out-of-their minds Modern American Liberals from the East and West Coasts, the idea of isolating theses areas sounds pretty good to me.

Here is an editorial from the Los Angeles Times which proves my point…

It was no secret during the campaign that Donald Trump was a narcissist and a demagogue who used fear and dishonesty to appeal to the worst in American voters. The Times called him unprepared and unsuited for the job he was seeking, and said his election would be a “catastrophe.” Still, nothing prepared us for the magnitude of this train wreck. Like millions of other Americans, we clung to a slim hope that the new president would turn out to be all noise and bluster, or that the people around him in the White House would act as a check on his worst instincts, or that he would be sobered and transformed by the awesome responsibilities of office.

Instead, seventy-some days in — and with about 1,400 to go before his term is completed — it is increasingly clear that those hopes were misplaced.

In a matter of weeks, President Trump has taken dozens of real-life steps that, if they are not reversed, will rip families apart, foul rivers and pollute the air, intensify the calamitous effects of climate change and profoundly weaken the system of American public education for all.

His attempt to de-insure millions of people who had finally received healthcare coverage and, along the way, enact a massive transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich has been put on hold for the moment. But he is proceeding with his efforts to defang the government’s regulatory agencies and bloat the Pentagon’s budget even as he supposedly retreats from the global stage.

“It is impossible to know where his presidency will lead or how much damage he will do to our nation. ” Share this quote
These are immensely dangerous developments which threaten to weaken this country’s moral standing in the world, imperil the planet and reverse years of slow but steady gains by marginalized or impoverished Americans. But, chilling as they are, these radically wrongheaded policy choices are not, in fact, the most frightening aspect of the Trump presidency.

What is most worrisome about Trump is Trump himself. He is a man so unpredictable, so reckless, so petulant, so full of blind self-regard, so untethered to reality that it is impossible to know where his presidency will lead or how much damage he will do to our nation. His obsession with his own fame, wealth and success, his determination to vanquish enemies real and imagined, his craving for adulation — these traits were, of course, at the very heart of his scorched-earth outsider campaign; indeed, some of them helped get him elected. But in a real presidency in which he wields unimaginable power, they are nothing short of disastrous.

Although his policies are, for the most part, variations on classic Republican positions (many of which would have been undertaken by a President Ted Cruz or a President Marco Rubio), they become far more dangerous in the hands of this imprudent and erratic man. Many Republicans, for instance, support tighter border security and a tougher response to illegal immigration, but Trump’s cockamamie border wall, his impracticable campaign promise to deport all 11 million people living in the country illegally and his blithe disregard for the effect of such proposals on the U.S. relationship with Mexico turn a very bad policy into an appalling one.

In the days ahead, The Times editorial board will look more closely at the new president, with a special attention to three troubling traits:

1Trump’s shocking lack of respect for those fundamental rules and institutions on which our government is based. Since Jan. 20, he has repeatedly disparaged and challenged those entities that have threatened his agenda, stoking public distrust of essential institutions in a way that undermines faith in American democracy. He has questioned the qualifications of judges and the integrity of their decisions, rather than acknowledging that even the president must submit to the rule of law. He has clashed with his own intelligence agencies, demeaned government workers and questioned the credibility of the electoral system and the Federal Reserve. He has lashed out at journalists, declaring them “enemies of the people,” rather than defending the importance of a critical, independent free press. His contempt for the rule of law and the norms of government are palpable.

2His utter lack of regard for truth. Whether it is the easily disprovable boasts about the size of his inauguration crowd or his unsubstantiated assertion that Barack Obama bugged Trump Tower, the new president regularly muddies the waters of fact and fiction. It’s difficult to know whether he actually can’t distinguish the real from the unreal — or whether he intentionally conflates the two to befuddle voters, deflect criticism and undermine the very idea of objective truth. Whatever the explanation, he is encouraging Americans to reject facts, to disrespect science, documents, nonpartisanship and the mainstream media — and instead to simply take positions on the basis of ideology and preconceived notions. This is a recipe for a divided country in which differences grow deeper and rational compromise becomes impossible.

3His scary willingness to repeat alt-right conspiracy theories, racist memes and crackpot, out-of-the-mainstream ideas. Again, it is not clear whether he believes them or merely uses them. But to cling to disproven “alternative” facts; to retweet racists; to make unverifiable or false statements about rigged elections and fraudulent voters; to buy into discredited conspiracy theories first floated on fringe websites and in supermarket tabloids — these are all of a piece with the Barack Obama birther claptrap that Trump was peddling years ago and which brought him to political prominence. It is deeply alarming that a president would lend the credibility of his office to ideas that have been rightly rejected by politicians from both major political parties.

Where will this end? Will Trump moderate his crazier campaign positions as time passes? Or will he provoke confrontation with Iran, North Korea or China, or disobey a judge’s order or order a soldier to violate the Constitution? Or, alternately, will the system itself — the Constitution, the courts, the permanent bureaucracy, the Congress, the Democrats, the marchers in the streets — protect us from him as he alienates more and more allies at home and abroad, steps on his own message and creates chaos at the expense of his ability to accomplish his goals? Already, Trump’s job approval rating has been hovering in the mid-30s, according to Gallup, a shockingly low level of support for a new president. And that was before his former national security advisor, Michael Flynn, offered to cooperate last week with congressional investigators looking into the connection between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.

On Inauguration Day, we wrote on this page that it was not yet time to declare a state of “wholesale panic” or to call for blanket “non-cooperation” with the Trump administration. Despite plenty of dispiriting signals, that is still our view. The role of the rational opposition is to stand up for the rule of law, the electoral process, the peaceful transfer of power and the role of institutions; we should not underestimate the resiliency of a system in which laws are greater than individuals and voters are as powerful as presidents. This nation survived Andrew Jackson and Richard Nixon. It survived slavery. It survived devastating wars. Most likely, it will survive again.

But if it is to do so, those who oppose the new president’s reckless and heartless agenda must make their voices heard. Protesters must raise their banners. Voters must turn out for elections. Members of Congress — including and especially Republicans — must find the political courage to stand up to Trump. Courts must safeguard the Constitution. State legislators must pass laws to protect their citizens and their policies from federal meddling. All of us who are in the business of holding leaders accountable must redouble our efforts to defend the truth from his cynical assaults.

The United States is not a perfect country, and it has a great distance to go before it fully achieves its goals of liberty and equality. But preserving what works and defending the rules and values on which democracy depends are a shared responsibility. Everybody has a role to play in this drama.

Pardon my lapsing into the vernacular for a moment, but, have you ever read such a bunch of horse crap in your life?

It’s like these fools at the Times were asleep for the last 8 long, difficult years.

Have they forgotten Benghazigate?

Have they Forgotten “Arab Spring”?

Have they forgotten under whose watch ISIS came to power?

Have they forgotten the Iranian Nuclear Fiasco, facetiously referred to as a “deal”?

Have they forgotten that 95,00,000 Americans are displaced from our Workforce, thanks to “Obamanomics”?

Have they forgotten the failed Obamacare Website Launch, the prelude to the Obamacare Implosion which we, as a nation, are witnessing before our very eyes right now?

Have they forgotten the Homegrown Islamic Terrorism Attacks which occurred under Obama’s watch?

Have they forgotten the Hillary Clinton E-mail Scandal?

Have they forgotten that the Clinton Foundation was selling access to favors from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in exchange for bribes, which were laundered through her and Bubba’s “Foundation”?

Have they forgotten that Donald J, Trump won the Presidency in a fair and legal election in which average Americans, living in America’s Heartland, rose up on our hind legs and “refudiated” their failed Political Philosophy and the incestuous swamp which is Politics in the Beltway?

Have they forgotten that they have produced NO EVIDENCE WHATSOVER to link Trump’s Election Victory to “colluding” by him or his staff with the Russians?

Have they forgotten that it has been proven that the Obama Administration was eavesdropping on Trump and his Campaign Staff?

Evidently so.

Or, as we say in Dixie,

They ain’t smellin’ what they’re shoveling.

The Democrats, as a result of their own regional bias toward the major metropolitan areas on the East and West Coasts, which has been obvious to average Americans for the last several decades, effectively divorced themselves from the people whom they claimed in every previous election cycle to “love”…Average Working Class Americans.

To put it in Marital Terms, Average Working Class Americans and the Democratic Party are no longer “evenly yoked”.

The Democrats became the party of the “Upper Crust” and Special Interest Groups, who look down their noses at Americans who live here in “Flyover Country”.

The Democrats assumed, after reading their own press clippings, that all Americans wanted the Progressive/Marxist Political Ideology and style of governance which Barack Hussein Obama practiced during his time as President.

Well, we all know what assuming does, don’t we, boys and girls?

As I write earlier, the American People overthrew the “Tyranny of the Minority”, which we have suffered under for the last 8 years on November 8th.

An article, written a few months ago by a member of the Main Stream Media, strategically placed the word “mandate”, which Vice-President Mike Pence used while speaking about President Trump, in quotes, as a form of derision.

The Oxford Dictionaries define the word “mandate” as

the authority to carry out a policy or course of action, regarded as given by the electorate to a candidate or party that is victorious in an election.

Guess what, all of you “Special Snowflakes” at the Los Angeles Times, who have divorced yourself from reality and who still throwing a National Temper Tantrum?

Trump won! Therefore, he does have a mandate.

It is to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Enjoy the ride.

I dedicate the following song which I have written to each and every one of the “Special Snowflakes’ in the Main Stream Media and on the East and West Coasts, who are still attempting to “get their way” by attempting to present blatant fiction as reality:

AND, DONALD TRUMP IS STILL THE PRESIDENT

(sung to the tune of “The Times They Are Changing”)

Listen to me, you Liberals who are throwing a fit
On November the 8th your egos took a hit
Americans aren’t fooled yet you refuse to admit

Your political party has just failed you
It’s time you grew up, and go ahead and submit
Because Donald Trump is still the President.

Hey, Congressmen and Senators way up on the Hill
There’s a new Boss in town, this is no fire drill
Both Republicans and Dems should extend their goodwill

It won’t be business as usual
So you better get movin’ up in your anthill

Because Donald Trump is still the President.

Yes, Donald Trump is still the President.

Hey, MSM and George Soros, too
You can save your breath, America’s not listening to you
Try as you might, you won’t change our worldview

Americans just simply were outraged
So we took back our country after an 8-year miscue

And, Donald Trump is still the President.

Kleenex?

The Russia-Trump Collusion Fable: Of Comey, Clinton, and Crybabies

No-Fire-600a-CI

In an article first posted on November 12, 2016, Foxnews.com reported that

Hillary Clinton has offered a couple of private but candid explanations about why she lost her White House bid, telling high-dollar fundraisers Saturday that FBI announcements about a second probe into her emails from her time as secretary of state were too damaging.

Clinton said, “Our analysis is that Comey’s letter raised doubts that were groundless and baseless…” and “stopped our momentum,” a DNC fundraising source who was on the call told Fox News.

Clinton made the remark on a roughly 30-minute conference call with Democrats who raised more than $100,000, according to Politico.

The former State Department leader lost in a surprising defeat to Republican nominee Donald Trump — a first-time candidate who essentially trailed in almost every major poll for the entire campaign.

FBI Director James Comey told Congress in an Oct. 30 letter that the agency was looking at emails found in an unrelated case that could be related to a closed FBI case specifically about the Clinton emails.

Clinton suggested her campaign’s internal poll numbers plunged after the letter but nevertheless rebounded, a person on the Saturday call told Politico.

However, she said the second Comey letter, three days before Election Day, saying that she had essentially been cleared in the unrelated case, awakened Trump voters.

The FBI investigated Clinton using a private email server system while secretary of state. Comey said some of the emails included classified information and that she was “extremely careless” in her action. But he concluded the case in July without recommending criminal charges.

Clinton on Thursday told her campaign staff that she had “stepped in it” by saying half of Trump’s supporters were “deplorables,” according to The New York Times.

She and her campaign essentially defended the remark by saying she regretted saying “half” of the supporters were “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” people.

Now, four months later, Foxnews.com reports that

FBI Director James Comey will enter the House hearing Monday on Russian activities during the presidential election as an imposing figure in many ways — standing 6-foot-8 and having been at the center of numerous, high-profile criminal probes.

His law-enforcement career began in the late 1980s. His relatively short time as head of the FBI includes his decision in July 2016 to investigate Hillary Clinton’s use of private email servers as secretary of state. The agency concluded the probe roughly three months later without recommending criminal charges, but it was considered a severe blow to Clinton’s ultimately failed White House bid.

Comey, a former registered Republican, was appointed in 2013 by then-President Obama to run the FBI.

As a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York in the early 2000s, he prosecuted businesswoman Martha Stewart, who was convicted in 2004 in connection with stock deals and sentenced to five months in prison.

He also helped prosecute the Gambino crime family when he previously worked in that office, from roughly 1987 to 1993.

Comey also supported federal agents who sought felony charges in 2015 against then-CIA Director David Petraeus, related to his mishandling of classified information.

Comey was appointed by the George W. Bush administration to the position of deputy attorney general, responsible for overseeing Justice Department operations. (He has insisted the FBI is apolitical in its investigations.)

He left the Justice Department in 2005 to become a vice president and general counsel for defense contractor Lockheed Martin through 2010. He then joined the Connecticut-based hedge fund Bridgewater Associates before leaving in 2013 to teach at Columbia Law School in New York City.

Comey was born in Yonkers, N.Y., attended the College of William and Mary and earned a law degree from the University of Chicago. He is married with five children.

About this Democrat accusation of collusion between Trump and the “Russkies”…

Glenn Greenwald wrote in an article posted on March 16th that

For so long, Democrats demonized and smeared anyone trying to inject basic reason, rationality, and skepticism into this Trump/Russia discourse by labeling them all Kremlin agents and Putin lovers. Just this week, the Center for American Progress released a report using the language of treason to announce the existence of a “Fifth Column” in the U.S. that serves Russia (similar to Andrew Sullivan’s notorious 2001 decree that anyone opposing the war on terror composed an anti-American “Fifth Column”), while John McCain listened to Rand Paul express doubts about the wisdom of NATO further expanding to include Montenegro and then promptly announced: “Paul is working for Vladimir Putin.”

But with serious doubts — and fears — now emerging about what the Democratic base has been led to believe by self-interested carnival barkers and partisan hacks, there is a sudden, concerted effort to rein in the excesses of this story. With so many people now doing this, it will be increasingly difficult to smear them all as traitors and Russian loyalists, but it may be far too little, too late, given the pitched hysteria that has been deliberately cultivated around these issues for months. Many Democrats have reached the classic stage of deranged conspiracists where evidence that disproves the theory is viewed as further proof of its existence, and those pointing to it are instantly deemed suspect.

FBI Director Comey’s second investigation of Clinton’s e-mails is not the reason that Hillary Clinton does not occupy the Oval Office.

Neither are the Russians.

Hillary Clinton, as shown by her “sound bites’, before, during, and after 2016’s history-making Presidential Election, views herself as smarter than average Americans.

She comes off in public as being snotty, cold, and insincere…because she is

This is nothing new.

In the Spring of 1974, Hillary became a member of the Presidential Impeachment Inquiry Staff, advising the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives during the Watergate Scandal. Her boss back then, Jerry Zeifman, now-retired General Counsel and Chief of Staff of the House Judiciary Committee, tells a very revealing story concerning her work there.According to Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former Yale Law Professor, Burke Marshall, also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the Watergate Investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation. That made the Future First Lady and Secretary of State one of only three people who earned that badge of dishonor in Zeifman’s 17-year career. Why?

According to Zeifman,

Because she was a liar. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.

Witness her behavior during the entire investigation regarding the events of that horrific night of September 11, 2012, on the grounds of the U.S. Embassy Compound in Benghazi, Libya.

We learned on October 26, 2012, that there were two drones circling overhead, as four brave Americans were being slaughtered. Obama and his Administration knew exactly what was happening, yet, for the sake of political expediency, chose to do nothing about it.

What Hillary’s appearance before the Benghazi Hearings showed, was a pathological predilection for dishonesty, insincerity, and inappropriateness, not only on the part of Former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton,  but the whole Obama Administration, as well, from the top on down.

They all knew that the cause of the attacks was not some stupid Youtube Video, but a full-blown Muslim Terrorist Attack.

However, for the sake of Political Expediency…and the re-election of President Barack Hussein Obama and the legacy of his rapidly failing Foreign Policy, known as Smart Power!, they had to quickly come up with an excuse for their liability in the deaths of those four brave Americans.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, with her Oscar-worthy Performance in front of the House Committee, which included circuitous answers to Yes or No Questions and inappropriate smirks, accompanied by cackling laughter, echoes across the years, proved completely true and accurate as to what I and my fellow Conservative Bloggers were saying about her all along:

Whether the revelation of “the gift” of massive quantities of Uranium to the Russians (an irony lost on the conspiratorial Democrats perpetuating the Russia-Trump Collusion Fable)  or the formation of an Iranian Connection, as a result of money given to the Clinton Foundation,  as was previously  reported in 2015, or the revelation involving “dual-staffer” Cheryl Mills, this is not just a scandal involving money and unscrupulous political ladder-climbing through the peddling of “favors”, the actions of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State crossed the line into the abhorrent abyss of a Conflict of Interest involving possible Treason.

Hillary has no one to blame but herself for losing the Presidency to Donald J. Trump.

But, of course, she never will.

For, after all, accepting responsibility for one’s words and actions is as repulsive to a Modern American Liberal as a Crucifix is to a Vampire, jus as she showed in her speech about a “Divided America” the other day, when she “came out of the woods”.

Just like their failed Presidential Candidate, the Democrats and their operatives in the Main Stream Media who have made up all of the Fake News Stories concerning the Russians somehow tampering with the election, refuse to accept the reality that average American rejected their political ideology and sent a Citizen Statesman to Washington on November 8, 2016, instead of a Professional Politician.

Donald J. Trump remains the President of the United States of America.

And, all of the “Special Snowflakes” can continue their National Temper Tantrum, if they wish.

For after all,

What difference at this point does it make?

Until He Comes,

Reclaiming America’s Place in the World: “Smart Power” is Gone. Has”Peace Through Strength” Returned?

rextillersonfeuerherdjapan

For those of you who are, or have been, parents…have you ever tried to clean up the mess of a teenager’s bedroom?

Then you know how President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson feel and they start to try to clean up the Foreign Policy Disaster that Obama, Clinton, and Kerry left behind.

Foxnews.com  filed the following report yesterday…

EXCLUSIVE: Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, in an exclusive interview with Fox News, refused to rule out increased weaponization and even nuclearization of America’s East Asian allies to deter North Korean aggression. “We’re exchanging views,” Tillerson said, while standing a few feet within what is technically North Korean territory inside what is known as the Joint Security Area.

“Nothing has been taken off the table,” he said, when asked whether he would rule out nuclearization of the peninsula, during the interview with Fox News.

Tillerson, who’s called the past 20 years of diplomacy toward North Korea a failure, has said the world needs a new strategy.

“Let me be very clear: the policy of strategic patience has ended,” said Tillerson in a later press availability in Seoul with South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se.

“If they elevate the threat of their weapons program to a level we believe requires action that option is on the table,” Tillerson also said, adding the U.S. wants to avoid military conflict and hopes other measures convince North Korea to suspend its weapons programs.

President Trump, bolstering his secretary of state’s comments, tweeted Friday morning that North Korea is “behaving very badly.”

Then-candidate Donald Trump received criticism when, in a March 2016 interview with The New York Times, he said of nuclear weapons: “would I rather have North Korea have them with Japan sitting there having them also? You may very well be better off if that’s the case.”

In a tweet, Trump later denied he said more countries should have nuclear weapons. Tillerson is in the middle of a trip to Japan, South Korea and China, largely to discuss coordinated efforts to halt North Korea’s advancing nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

He travels to China Friday, after pressuring that government to further curtail the threat from its ally, calling its approach to North Korean aggression “troubling” and “inappropriate”.

As Secretary of State Tillerson begins the job of reclaiming America’s rightful position as a Global Leader, on behalf of President Trump, I believe that is important to remember the disaster that was America’s Foreign Policy under Barack Hussein Obama.

Before Barack Hussein Obama (mm mmm mmmm) ascended to the throne of The Regime, he did something no other candidate for American President has ever done.  He campaigned in Europe, where he was treated like a rock star, by both the Europeans and the sycophantic Main Stream Media.  This set the stage for Obama’s Foreign Policy efforts as President.

There were so many issues that weakened America on the world stage as Obama pursued his Foreign Policy, it’s hard to know where to begin.  Come along as I try to relate a few high (low?) points.

1.  The World Apology Tour – Shortly after he took office, President Obama set off for the first of a two-part “World Apology Tour”.   After less than 100 days, he had apologized on three continents for what he viewed as the sins of America and previous presidents.

Per Karl Rove:

Mr. Obama told the French (the French!) that America “has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” toward Europe.  In Prague, he said America has “a moral responsibility to act” on arms control because only the U.S. had “used a nuclear weapon.” In London, he said that decisions about the world financial system were no longer made by “just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy” — as if that were a bad thing. And in Latin America, he said the U.S. had not “pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors” because we “failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas.”

By apologizing to the world, then- White House Press Secretary Robert “Baghdad Bob” Gibbs said that Scooter had “changed the image of America around the world” and made the U.S. “safer and stronger.”

Having the British call him “President Pantywaist” made us “safer and stronger”?

2.  Global War on Terror –  In a memo e-mailed the week of March 25th, 2009, in the middle of the World Apology Tour, to Pentagon staff members, the Defense Department’s office of security review proclaimed that “this administration prefers to avoid using the term ‘Long War’ or ‘Global War on Terror’ [GWOT.] Please use ‘Overseas Contingency Operation.’ ”  And so it began.

On Thursday, June 4th, 2009 at the University of Cairo, Obama addressed the Muslim World.  Here is an excerpt from the 6:35 a.m. speech:

Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition. I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. That is the spirit we need today. People in every country should be free to choose and live their faith-based lives upon the persuasion of the mind, heart, and soul. This tolerance is essential for religion to thrive, but it is being challenged in many different ways.

Among some Muslims, there is a disturbing tendency to measure one’s own faith by the rejection of another’s. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld – whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. And fault lines must be closed among Muslims as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq.

Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That is why I am committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit – for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We cannot disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism.

Scooter believed that by reaching out to the Muslim world through changing and softening our terminology as it pertained to the Jihad declared against the United States by Muslim Extremists, his administration would make huge inroads in America’s relationship with the Islamic World.  It actually accompished nothing but to encourage our enemies, as evidenced by the increased number of attacks by Muslim Extremists here in our country during his time as President.

3.  Smart Power! – At her confirmation hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Secretary of State nominee Hillary Clinton said:

We must use what has been called smart power, the full range of tools at our disposal—diplomatic, economic, military, political, legal, and cultural—picking the right tool, or combination of tools, for each situation. With smart power, diplomacy will be the vanguard of our foreign policy. This is not a radical idea. The ancient Roman poet Terence declared that “in every endeavor, the seemly course for wise men is to try persuasion first.” The same truth binds wise women as well.

Excessive humility has never been one of Hil’s problems.

Of course, Smart Power led to Arab Spring, which replaced Moderate Muslim Dictators, with Radical Muslim Dictators, backed by the Muslim Brotherhood. Great plan, y’all.

4.  Afghanistan – When Obama took office, he announced that Afghanistan was the true center of extremist activities.  He then told us that the Overseas Contingency Operation would be making a hard pivot from the main focus being on Iran to the main focus being on Afghanistan.  From there, he decided that the mountainous country of Pakistan (pronounced by the president, Pock-ee-stahn) was where all the truly evil Extremists were hiding.  He had two problems with this strategy:  the mountainous geography and unfriendly government of  Pock-ee-stahn.  Obama was advised by his military advisors that the best strategy was to use unmanned drones to attack Taliban (pronounced Tawl-ee-bohn by Obama) strongholds.  While the drones were very successful in killing members of the Tawl-ee-bohn, they have occasionally killed civilians as well.   That did not endeared us to that country’s government. Obama subsequently pulled out the majority of troops in Afghanistan, only recently to have had to send troops back in again.

While no President can control the actions of other countries come in their own affairs, the position of President of the United States has not historically been referred to as the Leader of the Free World for no reason.

That position has historically been the Vanguard in the fight against despotism and tyranny.

Unfortunately, for lovers of freedom the world over, instead of being the leader that the world and America itself needed, Barack Hussein Obama instead was an example of the Peter Principle.

He rose to his level of incompetence.

Obama believed in a “Chamberlain-esque” Foreign Policy of appeasement, consisting of vague warnings, pay-offs, and drawing red lines in the sand.

It didn’t work.

President Donald J. Trump appears to be adopting President Ronald Reagan’s Foreign Policy of “Peace Through Strength.”

Knowing that, I feel safer already.

Until He Comes,

KJ
