The Zimmerman Verdict: Liberals Outrageously Outraged

chickenlittleAll day yesterday, the cable news channels were all abuzz over the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of 17 year old Trayvon Martin.

Of course, just as President Barack Hussein Obama helped to originally fan the flames of Racial Animus over what was ruled a case of self-defense, so did he use the trial’s aftermath to make a classless pitch, once again, for gun control:

I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.

Gun Control? Seriously, Mr. President? If George Zimmerman was not armed, pieces of the back of his head would still be all over that sidewalk.

Obama was not alone in his “grief”.

R&B Singer/Wannabe Actress/Personal Friend of Obama, Beyonce, held a moment of silence for Tray-Tray in her concert last night.

In fact, some Black “Pastor” even preached in a hoodie, yesterday morning.

If Trayvon was killed by another Black Thug Wannabe in a hoodie, he would have been just another horrible statistic in a national disgrace. Americans would have never known who he was.

The Professional Race Baiters, including the Administration, manufactured this whole build-up to divide the country, get Obama re-elected by firing up his base, and to distract from all of Obama’s scandals and the horrible job he has done as president.

Don’t believe me? Read this:

After interviewing nearly three dozen people in the George Zimmerman murder case, the FBI found no evidence that racial bias was a motivating factor in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, records released Thursday show.

Even the lead detective in the case, Sanford Det. Chris Serino, told agents that he thought Zimmerman profiled Trayvon because of his attire and the circumstances — but not his race.

Serino saw Zimmerman as “having little hero complex, but not as a racist.”

The Duval County State Attorney released another collection of evidence in the Zimmerman murder case Thursday, including reports from FBI agents who investigated whether any racial bias was involved in Trayvon’s Feb. 26 killing.

The evidence includes bank surveillance videos from the day of the killing, crime scene photos and memos from prosecutors.

Among the documents is a note from the prosecutor who said one of the witnesses said her son, a minor, had felt pressured by investigators to say the injured man he saw was wearing a red top. The boy’s testimony had been considered key, because it backed up Zimmerman’s allegation that he — wearing red — was being pummeled.

Federal agents interviewed Zimmerman’s neighbors and co-workers, but none said Zimmerman had expressed racial animus at any time prior to the Feb. 26 shooting of Martin, a black teen, in a confrontation at a Sanford housing complex. As Sanford police investigated the circumstances of Martin’s death, the FBI opened a parallel probe to determine if Martin’s civil rights had been violated.

Several co-workers said they had never seen Zimmerman display any prejudice or racial bias.

Two co-workers told agents they spoke with Zimmerman the day after the shooting, and both said they noticed injuries to Zimmerman’s nose and the back of his head. One person said Zimmerman was “absolutely devastated.”

So, Obama and AG Eric Holder knew that this was not a racially motivated incident.

However, just like the Main Stream Media,  desperate in their desire for Zimmerman to be White, erroneously identified him as such, then walked it back, by making up the term “White Hispanic”, Obama and his Administration, assisted in the coordination of the protests against George Zimmerman, putting pressure on the Dade County Prosecutor to file undeserved changes against Zimmerman.

And now, instead of  being able to use the trial as an example of his power, to win back his supporters, and bank some political capital, Obama is sitting there looking like Henny Penny, when the sky did not fall.

With the reports coming about concerning their original findings and Machiavellian malfeasance, the president will have  to explain to his supporters why it would not be a winning strategy to launch a full-fledged Government Investigation , like, for instance, the NAACP wants him to…against George Zimmerman.

Ben Jealous, president of the NAACP, declared in a statement,

A jury acquitted George Zimmerman, but we are not done demanding justice for Trayvon Martin.

Justice? Justice has been done, Mr. Jealous. You want more publicity.

The great Conservative Economist and Thinker, Dr. Thomas Sowell, who just happens to be Black, wrote the following words in an article posted on March 27, 2013, when all this stuff was hitting the rotary oscillator:

The man who shot the black teenager in Florida may be as guilty as sin, for all I know — or he may be innocent. We pay taxes so that there can be judges and jurors who sort out the facts. We do not need Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton or the president of the United States spouting off before the trial has even begun. Have we forgotten the media’s rush to judgment in the Duke University “rape” case that blew up completely when the facts came out?

If the facts show that a teenager who was no threat to anyone was shot and killed, it will be time to call for the death penalty. But if the facts show that the shooter was innocent, then it will be time to call for people in the media and in politics to keep their big mouths shut until they know what they are talking about.

Playing with racial polarization is playing with fire.

And, it appears that the president, his Administration, the MSM, and America’s Liberal Black Leadership are all fighting over who gets to light the match.

National Biometric Database Hidden in Immigration Bill

biometric databaseHave you ever wondered just exactly how much the U.S. Government knows about you? As I have written before, part of Obamacare involves the sharing of your medical information online, with doctors’ offices and other medical professionals. Right now, the implementation of that process is not going too well. Mainly, because the Obama Administration did not put any clear-cut procedures in place to facilitate the transferal of medical records into a digital format, and just how those records will be shared.

Comforting, huh?

Well, grab hold of your socks and pull, because, it’s not just your medical records that will be shared with the world on the Digital Highway.

On December 21, 2007, the following story was published in The Washington Post.

The FBI is embarking on a $1 billion effort to build the world’s largest computer database of peoples’ physical characteristics, a project that would give the government unprecedented abilities to identify individuals in the United States and abroad.

Digital images of faces, fingerprints and palm patterns are already flowing into FBI systems in a climate-controlled, secure basement here. Next month, the FBI intends to award a 10-year contract that would significantly expand the amount and kinds of biometric information it receives. And in the coming years, law enforcement authorities around the world will be able to rely on iris patterns, face-shape data, scars and perhaps even the unique ways people walk and talk, to solve crimes and identify criminals and terrorists. The FBI will also retain, upon request by employers, the fingerprints of employees who have undergone criminal background checks so the employers can be notified if employees have brushes with the law.

“Bigger. Faster. Better. That’s the bottom line,” said Thomas E. Bush III, assistant director of the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division, which operates the database from its headquarters in the Appalachian foothills.

The increasing use of biometrics for identification is raising questions about the ability of Americans to avoid unwanted scrutiny. It is drawing criticism from those who worry that people’s bodies will become de facto national identification cards. Critics say that such government initiatives should not proceed without proof that the technology really can pick a criminal out of a crowd.

The use of biometric data is increasing throughout the government. For the past two years, the Defense Department has been storing in a database images of fingerprints, irises and faces of more than 1.5 million Iraqi and Afghan detainees, Iraqi citizens and foreigners who need access to U.S. military bases. The Pentagon also collects DNA samples from some Iraqi detainees, which are stored separately.

The Department of Homeland Security has been using iris scans at some airports to verify the identity of travelers who have passed background checks and who want to move through lines quickly. The department is also looking to apply iris- and face-recognition techniques to other programs. The DHS already has a database of millions of sets of fingerprints, which includes records collected from U.S. and foreign travelers stopped at borders for criminal violations, from U.S. citizens adopting children overseas, and from visa applicants abroad. There could be multiple records of one person’s prints.

“It’s going to be an essential component of tracking,” said Barry Steinhardt, director of the Technology and Liberty Project of the American Civil Liberties Union. “It’s enabling the Always On Surveillance Society.”

Today, in 2013, The Senatorial “Gang of Eight” who have been putting together the Immigration Bill, have decided that all of us need to be tracked.

Per wired.com:

The immigration reform measure the Senate began debating yesterday would create a national biometric database of virtually every adult in the U.S., in what privacy groups fear could be the first step to a ubiquitous national identification system.

Buried in the more than 800 pages of the bipartisan legislation (.pdf) is language mandating the creation of the innocuously-named “photo tool,” a massive federal database administered by the Department of Homeland Security and containing names, ages, Social Security numbers and photographs of everyone in the country with a driver’s license or other state-issued photo ID.

Employers would be obliged to look up every new hire in the database to verify that they match their photo.

This piece of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act is aimed at curbing employment of undocumented immigrants. But privacy advocates fear the inevitable mission creep, ending with the proof of self being required at polling places, to rent a house, buy a gun, open a bank account, acquire credit, board a plane or even attend a sporting event or log on the internet. Think of it as a government version of Foursquare, with Big Brother cataloging every check-in.

“It starts to change the relationship between the citizen and state, you do have to get permission to do things,” said Chris Calabrese, a congressional lobbyist with the American Civil Liberties Union. “More fundamentally, it could be the start of keeping a record of all things.”

For now, the legislation allows the database to be used solely for employment purposes. But historically such limitations don’t last. The Social Security card, for example, was created to track your government retirement benefits. Now you need it to purchase health insurance.

“The Social Security number itself, it’s pretty ubiquitous in your life,” Calabrese said.

David Bier, an analyst with the Competitive Enterprise Institute, agrees with the ACLU’s fears.

“The most worrying aspect is that this creates a principle of permission basically to do certain activities and it can be used to restrict activities,” he said. “It’s like a national ID system without the card.”

Can you say, “Politboro”? I knew that you could.

Basically, Americans would not be able to live their lives without being tracked through the Biometric Database . Every move you make will be digitally monitored by our government.

Hey! All you Liberals out there! You thought the Patriot Art was intrusive? You ain’t seen nothing, yet.

With Conservative Bloggers already banned on Government Computers, and the Administration attacking those members of the Military who wish to share their Christian Faith, the National Biometric Database makes the whole effort by the Obama Administration seem positively Orwellian…or, perhaps a scenario straight out of the Book of Revelation.
