Biden Accepts Democrat Presidential Nomination, Promises to Fix Things He Didn’t Fix in 47 Years in DC

Former Vice President Joe Biden said he’d lead the country out of what he called a “season of darkness” and vowed to “draw on the best” of what America has to offer as he accepted the Democratic presidential nomination on Thursday night, setting up a general election battle with President Trump in November.

In his speech, Biden sought to cast himself as a leader who would unite the country.

“The current president has cloaked American anger for far too long. Too much anger, too much division. Here and now I give you my word — if you entrust me with the presidency, I’ll draw on the best of us, not the worst,” Biden said. “I’ll draw on the light, not the darkness. It’s time for us, for we the people to come together, and make no mistake, we can and will overcome this season of darkness in America. We’ll choose hope over fear, facts over fiction, fairness over privilege.”

Because of the coronavirus, Biden spoke from the mostly empty Chase Center in front of about two dozen reporters. He stood at a lectern emblazoned with “D20” in front of 16 American flags.

“I’m a proud Democrat, and I’ll be proud to carry our banner into the general election,” he said. “So it’s with great humility and a proud honor that I accept this nomination for president of the United States of America.”

For Biden, becoming the Democratic nominee is the culmination of a decades-long political career that has taken him from the Senate to the White House, as vice president under former President Obama.

Biden’s path to the Democratic nomination was also defined by personal tragedy, including the loss of his first wife and young daughter to a car crash in the early 1970s and the death of his son Beau Biden, who passed away from brain cancer in 2015.

Biden prepared for his address Thursday with family, longtime advisers including chief strategist Mike Donilon, speechwriters Vinay Reddy and Carlyn Reichel, and even presidential historian Jon Meacham, who recently penned the book “The Soul of America” and also had a speaking role at the convention. 

Biden was introduced by his children Ashley and Hunter Biden, and a video of his late son Beau Biden introducing his father at the 2012 Democratic convention.

The campaign also played a new video touting Biden’s past efforts to reach across the aisle and work with Republicans. The video told the story about how as vice president Biden worked with Republican lawmakers on an economic rescue package following the 2008 financial crisis.

Y’know, it was fitting that Hunter Biden and his Sister, Ashley introduced their father last night.

Hunter Biden was the point of the spear in a Foreign Policy scandal which is just a small part of what will go down as the most corrupt Presidential Administration in history, making the Warren G. Harding Teapot Dome Scandal pale in comparison.

All of this boggles the mind. Think about it:

This whole continuous attack on President Trump…the Special Counsel’s “Russian Collusion” investigation and the hurried Democratic Sham Impeachment are all part of a strategy to cover up the out-of-control corruption, both foreign and domestic, which took place during the Obama Administration with the knowledge and consent of President Barack Hussein Obama, himself.

That would certainly explain the Democrats’ over-the-top reaction to losing the 2016 Presidential Election and their vicious rhetoric and unconstitutional political actions and schemes since.

When Obama and Biden left office, Joe gave an “exit interview” to the Los Angeles Times.

He said his party failed to connect with working-class, largely white voters, and warned that “a bit of elitism” has “crept in” to party thinking.

He recalled watching a Trump rally in Pennsylvania near where he grew up.  “They’re all the people I grew up with,” he said. “They’re their kids. And they’re not racist. They’re not sexist. But we didn’t talk to them.”

The Democrats still are not talking to us.

They continue to talk at us.

They do not cherish or respect average Americans.

Remember how refreshing Donald J. Trump’s speech was when he accepted the nomination as the Presidential Candidate of the Republican Party?

What a contrast to what we had heard for 7 and one-half long years from the former occupier of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

No racially-divisive rhetoric, no allusions to the Marxism Axioms revolving around Class Warfare, no self-deification, such as

This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.

By the way, how did that “Hope and Change” work out for ya?

But, I digress…

Instead, we heard from a man who genuinely LOVED America and her people, instead of viewing us all as racist, misogynist, xenophobes.

And, therein lies the secret of Donald J. Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton on November 8th, 2016.

It was a direct “repudiation” of Obama and his Presidency.

What Trump did, with his refusal earlier in the campaign to “act more presidential”, was to implement a strategy.

Trump has always been a “people person”.

That is the reason that, when he was still a contributor to Fox News, he would speak to everyone in the building, from the maintenance crew, on up the ladder.

As Sam Walton, the Founder of Walmart, knew, you don’t inspire people by acting imperious and above it all.

“Mr. Sam”, until his health would no longer allow him to do so, would travel to Walmart Stores in his old pickup truck, with a tie and a baseball cap on, visiting the employees, in order to find out how his stores were doing.

He knew that the only was to be successful and to stay in touch with the public, was to be out among them, and speak to them honestly and directly, as one would speak to a friend.

The Political Establishment, of both parties, lost that concept, a long time ago.

Trump continues to strike a resonant chord in the hearts of Average Americans, living here in the part of America, which the Modern Democratic Party refer to as “Flyover Country”, but which we refer to as “America’s Heartland”, or, quite simply, “HOME”.

The Democrats, including Presidential Candidate Joe Biden, did not say a thing about the special interest groups whom they support, like BLM and Antifa during their Bore-a-thon this week.

The violent anti-Americanism being displayed by the riots happening in our major cities is not only condoned by he Far Left Democratic Party…it is encouraged.

Joe Biden, in his diminished state, will not do a darn thing about it.

His handlers will not let him.

We MUST reelect President Donald J. Trump.

America’s future depends on it.

In Recorded Speech at Virtual DNC, Michelle Obama Accuses the President of “Division”…Why Irony is Embarrassed

Former first lady Michelle Obama, in a measured but searing address to close out Democrats’ opening convention night, accused President Trump’s White House of operating in “chaos” and without “empathy” as she urged voters to cast their ballots for Joe Biden like their lives depend on it.

In prerecorded remarks, Obama stressed the “awesome power of the presidency,” while saying the job “requires clear-headed judgment, a masterly of complex and competing issues, a moral compass and an ability to listen.”

She added: “Whenever we look to this White House for some leadership or consultation or any semblance of steadiness, what we get instead is chaos, division and a total and utter lack of empathy.”

The address was widely praised by Democrats as a powerful indictment of the administration. But it also came at the close of a first-night program that was awfully bleak at times, especially with Sen. Bernie Sanders repeatedly saying the country is facing the threat of “authoritarianism.”

Trump campaign adviser Steve Cortes told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham that they presented a “dystopian” picture of the country. And the unusual format, at the first-ever virtual political convention, also raised eyebrows as videos of musical performances and news-style segments hosted by Eva Longoria were interspersed with remarks from lawmakers.

But Michelle Obama, in an impassioned address, sought to tie the strings together, concluding Trump is “the wrong president for our country.”

“He has had more than enough time…He is clearly in over his head,” she said. “He cannot meet this moment. He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us.”

She added: “It is what it is.” (This may have been a swipe at Trump’s infamous comment on coronavirus deaths.)

Obama went on to warn: “If you think things cannot possibly get worse, trust me, they can, and they will if we don’t make a change in this election.”

“If we have any hope of ending this chaos, we have got to vote for Joe Biden like our lives depend on it,” she said. “I know Joe. He is a profoundly decent man guided by faith.”

Obama did not mention Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., who is the first woman of color to be named as a vice presidential nominee for a major party. It’s possible the video was recorded before she was named.

Obama also slammed “the America that is on display for the next generation.”

“A nation that’s underperforming, not simply on matters of policy, but on matters of character, and that’s not just disappointing, it’s downright infuriating,” she said, noting she knows “the goodness and grace” across the country.

Obama said “empathy” was something she has “been thinking a lot about lately.”

“The ability to walk in someone else’s shoes. The recognition that someone else’s experience has values too,” she said. “Most of us practice this without a second thought.”

She went on to say that children in the U.S. “are seeing what happens when we stop requiring empathy of one another.”

“They’re looking around wondering if we’ve been lying to them this whole time,” she said. “They see people shouting in grocery stores unwilling to wear a mask to keep us all safe; they see people calling the police on folks minding their own business just because of the color of their skin…They see our leaders labeling fellow citizens enemy of the state, while emboldening torch-baring white supremacists.”

Meanwhile, Obama referenced her “they go low, we go high” catchphrase, explaining that “going high is the only thing that works” but doesn’t always mean being nice.

“When we go low, degrading and dehumanizing others, we just become part of the other noise that’s drowning out everything else,” she said. “Let’s be clear: going high does not mean putting on a smile and saying nice things when confronted by viciousness and cruelty.”

She added: “Going high means going the higher path—scraping and clawing to that mountain top.”

Let’s review Michelle Obama taking that “higher path” that she referred to last night…

On January 23rd, 2008, during a speech given in Columbia, South Carolina, Michelle Obama said:

We don’t like being pushed outside of our comfort zones. You know it right here on this campus. You know people sitting at different tables, y’all living in different dorms. I was there. Y’all not talking to each another, taking advantage of the fact that you’re in this diverse community because sometimes it’s easier to hold onto your own stereotypes and misconceptions, it makes you feel justified in your ignorance. That’s America. So the challenge for us is, are we ready for change?

Then, in February of 2008, while campaigning for her husband in Wisconsin, Mrs. Obama said:

Let me tell you something. For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.

And let me tell you something. I need to believe that we live in that kind of nation, where hope and possibility and unity is still what drives us.

She made the “proud” comment twice in 2 different speeches. David Axlerod, Obama’s Chief Strategist, tried to explain it away at the time, saying:

She gives this talk all the time, and I don’t think she formulates the words quite that way generally. But if you look at the whole quote and read beyond it, she was plainly talking about this burst of participation, this sense of hope, the sense of possibility and so on. And she was talking about the politics of our country.

In an article titled “The Other Obama”, published on March 10, 2008, in The New Yorker Magazine, writer Lauren Collins gave us the following insights into the Future First Lady’s true feelings about America:

The four times I heard her give the speech—in a ballroom at the University of South Carolina, from the pulpit of Pee Dee Union, at an art gallery in Charleston, and in the auditorium of St. Norbert College, in De Pere, Wisconsin—its content was admirably consistent, with few of the politician’s customary tweaks and nods to the demographic predilections, or prejudices, of a particular audience.

Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents. “We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day,” she said, as heads bobbed in the pews. “Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four!”

From these bleak generalities, Obama moves into specific complaints. Used to be, she will say, that you could count on a decent education in the neighborhood. But now there are all these charter schools and magnet schools that you have to “finagle” to get into. (Obama herself attended a magnet school, but never mind.) Health care is out of reach (“Let me tell you, don’t get sick in America”), pensions are disappearing, college is too expensive, and even if you can figure out a way to go to college you won’t be able to recoup the cost of the degree in many of the professions for which you needed it in the first place. “You’re looking at a young couple that’s just a few years out of debt,” Obama said. “See, because, we went to those good schools, and we didn’t have trust funds. I’m still waiting for Barack’s trust fund. Especially after I heard that Dick Cheney was s’posed to be a relative or something. Give us something here!”

Her expensive tastes, during her time as “First Lady”, which included Wagyu Beef and Lobster, her penchant for taking the most expensive vacations ever imagined by man (with larger entourages than an NBA Player), along with her attempts at telling Americans what we HAVE to feed our children and grandchildren, and how we should be raising them, did not exactly endear herself to the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Especially when she started telling us how to feed our children and grandchildren…

Past First Ladies always took a cause to tackle during their husbands’ terms.

Usually, it was a non-intrusive cause such as literacy or combating hunger in America.

Not, in the case of our globe-trotting (on our dime) Former First Lady, “Moochelle” Obama. Under the guise of battling Childhood Obesity, she decided to sic the food police on America’s school menus, turning our children into the Liberal Administrations’ own personal lab rats and overruling the parental authority of the average American Family.

Mrs. Obama eventually had to adjust her diet plan, because children were not receiving enough nourishment from her Diet Plan and literally falling out by the middle of the afternoon.

In response to this danger to the health of their students, several school systems across the nation told the First Lady what she could do with her non-nutritious Diet Plan, including the Liberal Bastion of New York State!

Most of the other First Ladies in my 61 years, such as our current one, Melania Trump, have brought a certain degree of class and decorum to their unelected position as “FLOTUS”.

Hillary Clinton being a notable exception.

Where that woman spits, grass never grows again.

But, I digress…

First Lady Melania Trump speaks six different languages fluently and came here on a special Visa which they call the “Einstein” Visa. Plus, she always presents herself as an asset to our nation in public.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama thinks decorum is something you do to a room.

And now, this “mooch” has the nerve to call President Trump “divisive” while calling for average Americans to elect  a man clearly in the throes of dementia as President of the greatest country on the face of God’s green Earth?

America has not forgotten the damage that her, her husband, and Sleepy Joe did in the long, nightmarish 8 years that they were in the White House.

Dems Upset That NYPD Union Endorses Trump…Actions Have Consequences

De Blasio, AOC, and their fellow Democrats are so corrupt and power-hungry, that they are sacrificing the safety of New Yorkers in order to cause chaos and unrest by defunding and demeaning the NYPD and other police departments across the country, moves which they hope will provide them leverage in order to win the Presidency and to usher in Democratic Socialism.

Guess what? The police are fighting back.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) union faced blowback from local Democrats after it endorsed President Trump’s reelection amid budget cuts and tensions between police and city lawmakers.

On Friday night, Trump spoke to members of the New York City Police Benevolent Association (PBA), an organization that represents 24,000 officers, at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J. Trump was formally endorsed by the group.

PBA President Pat Lynch said it was the first time he could recall the group ever endorsing a president.

“I have 36 years on this job, 21 as the president of this fine organization. I cannot remember when we’ve ever endorsed for Office of the President of the United States, until now. That’s how important this is,” Lynch said.

“Many times people say that a union like ours, law enforcement groups, give endorsements. Not in the New York City PBA, sir,” Lynch continued. “In the New York City PBA, Mr. President, you earn the endorsement and you’ve earned this endorsement. I’m proud to give it.”

“I’ve admired you my whole life, watched you do a job like nobody else, nobody else done it. Best of the best and I’m grateful happy you’re here,” the president said to the group of officers in attendance.

He mentioned his brother, Robert, who he visited in a New York City hospital Friday. “He’s having a hard time, but he respected you like I respect you.”

He again repeated his law-and-order message, telling the crowd “No one will be safe in Biden’s America.”

“This guy has been taking your dignity away and your respect,” Trump said of former Vice President Joe Biden. “And I’m telling you on Nov. 3 you’re going to be getting it back.”

New York Democrats said the police union’s endorsement of such a highly unpopular politician within the city was exacerbating tensions between them and the community.

“NYPD union endorsed Trump. I’m sure this is part of their neighborhood outreach plan,” tweeted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose district spans the Bronx and Queens.

“Also, does anyone else see a potential problem with police unions – enforcement arms of the state with lethal weapons – promoting “preferred” candidates for office or is that just me?” she added.

“I’m speechless. NYC is a beautifully diverse, working class, democratic city. The NYPD is clearly showing they are not interested in working with the people of our city,” tweeted Jamaal Bowman, a progressive newcomer who overthrew longtime Rep. Elliot Engel in a June primary.

“This explains their continued aggression against innocent people. It’s time for dramatic change,” he said.

New York City cops have faced a campaign against them in the wake of police brutality protests following the death of George Floyd.

As New York politicians cut $1 billion from the police budget among other police reforms, crime has spiked throughout the city. In July 2020, there were 244 shootings in New York, a 177 percent increase from the 88 which occurred last July.

Crimes such as murder, burglary and grand larceny auto also rose, but crimes such as rape, robbery and assault fell.

Meanwhile, Mayor Bill de Blasio and the city council recently barred officers from using chokeholds and other forms of restraint to detain suspects.

At the same time, state lawmakers passed a law to publicly disclose the disciplinary records of police officers accused of misconduct.

On July 31, Lynch met with the president at the White House to discuss the crime problem.

“In our city, we’re going through a difficult time. We have a progressive mayor that’s anti-police; the city council that’s anti-police; and the statehouse is anti-police. So they’re changing the law where it’s becoming impossible to do our job,” Lynch told the president, as reported by the New York Post.

“And remember what our job is: to keep folks safe. You do that by helping the good people, going after the bad people. They’re stopping us from doing that.”

Now, let me get this straight.

The local Democrat politicians, including Commie Mayor Bill de Blasio treat the NYPD like THEY are the thugs, defunding and treating them like garbage, and then the Dems have the nerve to act surprised when they endorse President Trump?

Their arrogance knows no bounds.

the Far Left Democratsz, his handlers have made a huge mistake by not “Backing the Blue”.

The overwhelming majority of American citizens support the police and sheriff’s departments within their municipalities and counties.

These same Americans, living between the coasts, are the ones Hillary Clinton referred to as “Deplorables”.

And, these are the Americans who elected Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America.

Average Americans are very aware as to what the Democrats are doing by championing the “Defund the Police” movement….they are pandering to special interest groups while clearing another obstacle in their path to radically changing America into a Marxist nation.

There is nothing at all altruistic in the Democrats attempting to defund the police.

If you will notice, Democrat politicians, both local and national, either live in a gated community or hire private security for themselves.

They are not shy about protecting themselves.

They don’t care about average Americans, though.

Back in July, the National Association of Police Organizations endorsed President Trump for reelection

Their bowing down to the Radical Left has now cost Joe Biden and the Democrat Party the support of those who keep us safe.

The Great American Broadcaster, the late Paul Harvey, was the son of a policeman who died in the line of duty. He wrote the following tribute for one of his daily updates…

“What is a policeman?

“A policeman is a composite of what all men are, I guess, a mingling of saint and sinner, dust and deity. What that really means is that they are exceptional, they are unusual. They are not commonplace. Buried under the froth is the fact, the fact is that less than one half of one percent of policeman misfit that uniform, and that is a better average than you’d find among clergymen.

“He of all men is at once the most needed, and the most wanted, a strangely nameless creature who is sir to his face and pig or worse behind his back. He must be such a diplomat that he can settle differences between individuals so that each will think he won, but, if a policeman is neat, he’s conceited, if he’s careless he’s a bum, if he’s pleasant, he’s a flirt, if he’s not, he’s a grouch.

“He must make instant decisions that would require months for a lawyer but if he hurries he’s careless, if he’s deliberate, he’s lazy. He must be first to an accident, infallible with diagnoses. He must be able to start breathing, stop bleeding, tie splints and above all, be sure the victim goes home without a limp.

“The police officer must know every gun, draw on the run and hit where it doesn’t hurt.

“He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform, and without being brutal. If you hit him he’s a coward, if he hits you, he’s a bully. The policeman from a single human hair must be able to describe the crime, the weapon the criminal, and tell you where the criminal is hiding but, if he catches the criminal he’s lucky, if he doesn’t he’s a dunce.

“He runs files and writes reports until his eyes ache to build a case against some felon who will get dealt out by some shameless shamus. The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy, and a gentle man. And of course, he’ll have to be a genius, because he’ll have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.”

The Democrats are a bunch of ungrateful arrogant fools.

The Far Left Tweets For the MSM to #InterruptTrump During his Press Briefings and This Happens…Coincidence?

President Trump on Monday was abruptly escorted away from the White House briefing room just a few minutes after taking the podium for a press briefing, but quickly returned to tell reporters, “There was a shooting outside of the White House.”

Describing what he knew about the situation, the president said it “seems” an armed person was shot by Secret Service and had been taken to the hospital.

The Secret Service provided details of the shooting in a tweet late Monday. A 51-year-old male allegedly approached a Uniformed Division officer who was standing at his post on the corner of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue near the White House. The man told the agent he had a weapon and, while he approached, took off in a sprint and “in a drawing motion, withdrew an object from his clothing,” the statement read.

“The suspect then crouched into a shooter’s stance as if about to fire a weapon,” the statement read. At that point, the agent fired his weapon and struck the subject in the torso.

That intersection is right outside the White House grounds.

The Secret Service said in a tweet that a male subject and a USSS officer were both transported to a local hospital. “At no time during this incident was the White House complex breached or were any protectees in danger,” the agency said, adding the investigation is ongoing.

A law enforcement source told Fox News it appears the wounds to the suspect in the officer-involved shooting are not fatal.

There was a brief, joint press conference late Monday night with the Secret Service and the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department that stressed that the investigation was in its early stages. City police will play a supporting role.

On Monday afternoon, several minutes after initially taking the podium, someone – who appeared to be a Secret Service agent – told the president shots had been fired outside before Trump stopped and walked out of the room.

“Excuse me?” the president said to the agent before exiting.

Fox News’ John Roberts reported hearing the sound of gunshots outside the White House as the briefing began.

After returning to the podium, Trump said a shooting took place outside the premises of the White House near the fence. He said more information would be released later.

The president said he was not taken to the White House bunker, but was rather ushered to the Oval Office.

When a reporter asked the president, “Are you rattled by this at all, Mr. President?” Trump replied, “Do I seem rattled?”

The president then moved on to discussing other issues, including the stock market and the coronavirus crisis.

Multiple sources told Fox News there is no believed threat to the Capitol after the White House incident.

After the president’s remarks, the White House was still on lockdown, with press told to stay in the briefing room. By 7:30 p.m., the lockdown had been lifted.

After almost four years, the Main Stream Media are still desperately trying to bring down President Donald J. Trump. Publishing unsubstantiated lie after unsubstantiated lie in order to assuage their own hurt feelings about their failure to aid lousy Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton in her quest to become the 45th President of the United States of America  hasn’t worked.

Neither has attempting to continuously interrupting him in press conferences and briefings, like the Far Left Radicals are once again telling them to.

The depth of their grief and the blind rage of their ensuing temper tantrum has, without a doubt, wiped out any vestiges of journalistic integrity that remained after decades of being the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.

President Trump will never be able to please the Main Stream Media.

Nor should he have to.

The Presidency of the United States of America is the most important leadership position on the Face of God’s Green Earth.

The Main Stream Media knows that.

As I have noted before, Trump has made the Media look tremendously naïve and stupid on several occasions, in scenes reminiscent of Lucy Van Pelt promising to hold the football for Charlie Brown to kick, only to pull it away at the last minute leaving a helpless Charlie Brown to wipe out, tumbling head over heels.

The Main Stream Media are no longer in control of the dissemination of the news…and they know it.

Between Trump’s playing them like the late great Charlie Daniels used to play a fiddle and average Americans becoming their own reporters through the use of Social Media, “professional journalists” have watched their influence over the daily lives of Americans dwindle and diminish right before their very eyes.

Unfortunately, the lies will just keep on coming from both the Democratic Party and their Propaganda Arm, the Main Stream Media.

Like the attention-seeking spoiled brats that they are, the Main Stream Media believe that they can get away with anything.

So does the Far Left radicals like Antifa and BLM after sineless DEmocrat Politicians have allowed them to riot, disrespect the police and law and order in general, while tearing up our major cities and beating up innocent Americans.

It appears that the spoiled ungrateful brats who are calling themselves Antifa and BLM, and who frequent websites like Bomber Bill Ayers’ “RefuseFascism.org, are moving into attack mode against President Trump, reminiscent of the actions of Vladimir Lenin and his Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution.

It is time for those in authority to stop these “New Bolsheviks” before average Americans start taking things into their own hands.

Barr to Levin: Antifa/BLM Riots are a New Form of “Urban Guerrilla Warfare” Driven by the Left’s “Lust for Power”

The United States is grappling with a new form of “urban guerrilla warfare” driven by the left’s “lust for power,” Attorney General William Barr told “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Sunday.

Discussing the ongoing Black Lives Matter riots rippling through several U.S. cities, Barr told host Mark Levin that the organization —  which has been characterized by the media as a fed-up activist group —  is comprised of “Bolsheviks” with a focus on on “some form of socialism, communism.”

“They are a revolutionary group that is interested in some form of socialism, communism. They’re essentially Bolsheviks. Their tactics are fascistic,” he said.

Barr compared the nationwide riots organized by Antifa to “a new form of urban guerrilla warfare.”

“The way the guerrilla…hides out among the people as a fish in the ocean…what they do is they are essentially shielding themselves or shrouding themselves in First Amendment activity,” he explained. “They go into the demonstrations, which are exercising First Amendment activity, and they insinuate themselves in there to shield themselves. That’s where they swim. And what they do is they hijack these demonstrations and they and they provoke violence.”

The group’s radical leanings are reflective of the Democratic party’s far-left shift in recent years, Barr said. “The left has “pulled away from the umbrella of classical liberal values that have undergirded” America and made a “secular religion” out of seeking “complete political victory,” he argued.

It began the day Trump won in 2016, “and from that point forward, there’s been the resistance,” Barr told Levin.  “They were trying to impeach him from Day One. They have done everything they can..and I think it’s because of the desire for power that the left wants.”

Power has become a “secular religion of the left,”  Barr asserted. “They want to run people’s lives so they can design utopia for all of us…and it’s the lust for power. And they weren’t expecting Trump’s victory. And it outrages them.”

Barr later condemned the media for “projecting a narrative” and selling a “lie” to the American people in their watered-down coverage of the civil unrest.

“You don’t see it on the networks. You don’t see it on the other cable stations. And yet you hear about these peaceful demonstrators. So it’s you know, it’s just it’s a lie. The American people are being told a lie by the media,” Barr said.

The media has become “extremely monolithic,” he concluded, “and it’s wedded in many ways to the Democratic Party.”

Well before the deadly Aug. 12 rally in Charlottesville and the ongoing violent clashes with white supremacists and other groups, federal authorities warned local officials the actions of left-wing extremists were becoming increasingly confrontational and dangerous.

Federal agencies warned of the growing likelihood of lethal violence between left-wing anarchists and right-wing white supremacists.

Some even classified their activities as “domestic terrorist violence.”

In previously unreported documents dating back to April 2016 and viewed by Fox News, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security wrote that “anarchist extremists” and Antifa groups were the primary instigators of violence at public rallies. They blamed these groups for attacks on police, government and political institutions, racists, fascists and “symbols of capitalism.”

The FBI and DHS had no comment on the assessments, saying they were not intended to be made public.

Well, gosh. Why did the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, not act upon the threat of violence from a Radical Leftist Group?

And, of course, the Puppet Master himself, George Soros, helped to fund Obama as well.

Obama chose not to pursue any investigations of the Antifa and other Far Left Groups like BLM, who might possibly turn violent in the future, because his own political ideology, while not overtly violent, was similar enough that he completely understood and empathized with his “Fellow Travelers.”.

And now, here we are.

America’s New Bolsheviks are attempting to accomplish what Lenin’s Bolsheviks achieved: an overthrow of a sitting government.

It is apparent that the Far Left Democrats, including Ex-President Obama and his Mentors and Benefactors George Soros and “Bomber” Bill Ayers, are a part of a movement whose purpose is to make average Americans submit to their political ideology of “forced Socialism through Fascism” by sabotaging the Presidency of Donald J. Trump and eliminate the Constitutional Right to Free Speech for Conservative Americans “by any means necessary”.

President Trump has already started to deal with this situation head on by using Federal Agents to arrest the “New Bolsheviks”.

Sen. Hirono Walks Out of Cruz’s Senate Judiciary Committee Mtg After Dems Refuse to Condemn Antifa

Tensions flared at a Senate hearing on Antifa when a top Democrat walked out of the room declaring she couldn’t sit through Sen. Ted Cruz’s rhetorical speeches any longer.

The dustup occurred when Cruz, R-Texas, blasted Democrats for not condemning Antifa more directly for the violence and destruction that has taken hold in certain U.S. cities in the wake of George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis.

But Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, said Cruz just wasn’t listening during the more than three-hour hearing when Democrats said violence is not acceptable.

“Sometimes I don’t think you listen,” Hirono told Cruz at the Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing as he finished up with a nearly 10-minute speech.  “So, how many times have I had to say that we all should be denouncing violent extremists of every stripe.”

“Does that include Antifa?” said Cruz, who was chairing the hearing.

“I have the time,” Hirono shot back.

“…I hope this is the end of this hearing, Mr. Chairman, and that we don’t have to listen to any more of your rhetorical speeches,” Hirono concluded.  “Thank you very much. I’m leaving.”

Hirono then packed up to leave the hearing before Cruz adjourned it.

“Well I appreciate the, as always, kind of uplifting words of Senator Hirono,” Cruz said. “And I would also note that throughout her remarks she still did not say a negative word about Antifa nor has any Democrat here.”

He urged her again to denounce the leftist extremist group. “You’re welcome to say something negative about Antifa right now,” Cruz said to his departing colleague.

Hirono, who had stood up and walked away from the microphone, responded to Cruz with something inaudible before heading out of the room.

“Okay, she declined to speak so that is the position of the Democratic Party,” Cruz said.

It was a tense ending to a hearing that kicked off Tuesday afternoon with Democrats and Republicans disagreeing on what the hearing should even be about.

The hearing Tuesday titled “The Right of the People Peaceably to Assemble: Protecting Speech by Stopping Anarchist Violence” revealed deep divisions in how Republicans and Democrats view the sustained protests that have gripped the nation since Floyd’s death while in police custody.

Cruz focused on rioters and anti-government activists that have “hijacked” peaceful protests and unleashed harm and violence in certain cities, like Portland. He kicked off the hearing by playing a video contrasting the protests from Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi and the March for Life with the recent riots, the chaos it has caused, and the Democratic response to it.

“Their actions are profoundly racist,” Cruz said. “The rioters …. destroy minority communities, minority businesses and minority lives across this country. This shouldn’t be complicated: peaceful protests must be protected. Riots must be stopped.”

Meanwhile, Democrats focused on the prevalence of white nationalist extremist groups and the federal government’s sometimes aggressive tactics in places like Portland and Washington, D.C., in dispersing crowds that they view as largely peaceful.

Hirono played her own video at the start of the hearing video of what she says is violence against peaceful protesters and disproportionate force.

Hirono says Tuesday’s hearing should instead be called: “The right of the people peaceably to assemble without being beaten up by unidentifiable federal agents.”

“That would address an actual problem lawful protesters are facing and the rest of us are seeing in this country,” Hirono said.

There is none so blind as he or she who will not see.

What has been described by the Main Stream media as “loosely-connected anarchist groups” have staged coordinated protests in virtually every major city across America.

And yet, the Democrats refuse to condemn them.

Well, Senator Hirono, if you believe that the riots over the last several days all “just happened” to pop up at the same time in every major and some minor cities in America caused by a bunch of bussed-in young punks dressed in all black with black masks on then I have two bridges over the Mississippi River at Memphis to sell you.

Antifa follows the teaching of Saul Alinsky and Adolph Hitler, and picks a target, in this case, the perceived “murder” of George Floyd by a Minneapolis Policeman, as an excuse for their “Revolution”, in an attempt to “get what’s coming to them”.

Like Hitler did his followers, the Leaders of these “Revolutionaries”, like Former Weather Underground member “Bomber” Bill Ayers, founder of RefuseFascism.org are promising prosperity to all who follow them.

And, like these type of movements, there seems to be an endless supply of “Useful Idiots”.

Of course, the irony is, they are being funded by “Secret Power Brokers”,  including the Puppet Master himself, George Soros.

The problem that these “Revolutionaries” are facing is the fact that they remain in the minority.

The majority of Americans disagree with them.

Otherwise, Hillary Clinton would have won the Presidency.

If you try to talk to a Liberal about this New Fascism, they will deny that there is any fascism going on at all. In fact, they will tell you that this is “the will of the people” and “White Supremacists” are responsible for the riots.

They have no “home training”, either.

These “spoiled brats”, like the Former Imperious President whom they worshipped as a living deity, do not care about the “Will of the People”, but, rather, they are intent on implementing and enforcing their Far Left Political Ideology, resulting in a “Tyranny of the Minority”, which we are seeing play out, as they attempt to bully and strike fear into average Americans, in order to regain the perceived power which they had under Obama’s failed presidency, while they collected their “FREE STUFF” bestowed upon them by the “benevolent masters” of the Democrat Party.

These protesters, in their immature, ego-driven rage, do not comprehend our nation’s Constitution, which they firmly believe is an antiquated “Dead ” document, with no more worth than a normal everyday piece of paper.

That Sacred Document, our United States Constitution, gives each of us the right, including the average Americans who live between the coasts and who elected President Trump, to speak our minds and be heard.

It gives those protesters that right, too…but, not at the expense of others, or damaging property like the fascist communists of Lenin’s Revolution, whom they are seeking to emulate through their attempts to circumvent the Constitution of the United States of America.

Their actions are far from noble. They are the actions taken by miserable little cowards who simply cannot accept that the majority of Americans do not believe the way that they do.

That is called “INTOLERANCE”.

It is also called FASCISM.

And, evidently the Democrats support them.

Senator Cruz should be commended for showing the nation that the Democrats support a bunch of violent anarchistic punks.

Hannity Tells Levin That the MSM “are State-Run Propaganda TV”…Why He is Exactly Right

Fox News host Sean Hannity compared the mainstream media to “state-run propaganda TV” in an interview on “Life, Liberty & Levin” Sunday, striking a serious tone as he detailed for viewers the significance of the upcoming November election.

“The media, the 99 percent… They are the propaganda wing of everything radical, extreme, Democratic, socialist. That’s it,” Hannity, the host of “Hannity” on Fox News Channel and the author of the forthcoming book “Live Free Or Die: America on the Brink,” told host Mark Levin.

“They are state-run propaganda TV.”

Hannity discussed what he described as the dire situation facing the United States should former Vice President Joe Biden defeat President Trump in November’s election, and condemned the media for “lying to the country for four years straight” in an effort to boot Trump from office and prevent him from winning a second term.

“The country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and it has made us great,” Hannity said. “We’re moral people, we’re good people. Freedom has made us a better people. The media is so corrupt. They lied to this country for four straight years. They lied about Russia. They lied about collusion.”

Detailing the Democratic policies that threaten the values and rights enshrined in the American system, Hannity told Levin: “I have a five-alarm fire in my heart, my mind and my soul right now for this country.”

“Whenever you have socialism, radicalism, statism, that [tyranny] is usually what follows thereafter. I think everything that has made this country great, everything that has made us the shining city on the hill, is riding on this election,” he said.

Hannity theorized that socialist policies hold a “psychological appeal” to voters by implicitly promising to “remove all the natural stress in one’s life.”

“[Socialists say], ‘We’ll be taking care of a guaranteed government job, guaranteed government wage. We’re going to guarantee a government vacation. We’re going to guarantee government healthy food. We’re going to guarantee government health care. We’re going to guarantee government retirement,'” he said.

“Well, OK, let’s look at the history of how government in this country alone is now working,” he added. “You know, we see the anarchy. We see the violence. New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles. It’s unfolding right before our very eyes. What do all of those cities have in common? They’ve all been run by liberal Democrats now for decades.”

Sean Hannity is exactly right.

For the last several decades, Americans have witnessed the Fourth Estate, America’s Main Stream Media, slowly but surely lose their objectivity to become a Propaganda Arm for the Democratic Party.

While their reporting became decidedly one-sided, it was not a great danger to the country even though it was a completely different sort of propaganda than when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt used the Main Stream Media to support the American effort in World War II.

Then, the 1980s arrived and along with it a new era in mass communications. Cable News Networks began springing up, increasing the role of the media in our daily lives.

Because of this new role, news organizations increased in their power and their influence in our daily lives. However, with this increased role came the responsibility to fill a 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, with new stories.

When actual new stories became hard to find, human interest stories began to fill the time, and when they ran out, news organizations decided to act like the National Enquirer and started to make news up.

Also, as the years wore on, America’s newsrooms became bastions of Liberal thought as more and more Conservatives left the business simply due to attrition and being squeezed out by young Liberal reporters who were a product of American universities which had become fountains of anti-American Political Activism.

Of course, these Liberal news reporters were members of the Democratic Party as it moved to the left of the political Spectrum. So, naturally, these reporters started reporting news more and more favorably to their political party of choice while keeping with their own personal political philosophy.

We all remember what happened when Barack Obama appeared on the political scene.

The Main Stream Media treated him as if it his appearance on the political scene was the Second Coming.

The Main Stream Media had finally become political activists instead of just political observers and pundits.

And, that is where we find ourselves today.

The Main Stream Media did everything in its power as political activists, working as the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party, to keep Donald J. Trump from being elected President of the United States of America.

Since his election, they have deliberately posted false and scurrilous news stories designed to impede and threaten his presidency.

While Americans remain in danger of losing both our lives and our freedom from a coronavirus which originated in a country which would love for America to be knocked down a peg or two, China, all of the MSM and their masters, the Democratic Party Elite, can think about is trying to use the crisis to damage President Trump, who is doing his job and trying to save American lives.

Additionally, while President Trump continues to work hard for the American people, the Main Stream Media continues to work against all of us…except for the Far Left Democrat Party and their foot soldiers in Antifa and BLM, who are doing their best to destroy major American cities.

And, they wonder why Trump’s Popularity Poll numbers keep rising and nobody trusts them anymore.

Of Bible Burning, BLM, Antifa, and the New Fascism

Protesters burned an American flag and a Bible in Portland, Oregon, sparking outrage just as weeks of violent demonstrations seemed to be coming to a close.

For more than 60 days, Black Lives Matters demonstrators, including a “Wall of Moms” and a “Wall of Vets,” have clashed with federal agents in the city, drawing national attention as authorities blasted marchers with tear gas and the civilians at times responded with weapons of their own — such as feces, bleach, bricks or batteries.

Friday night’s demonstrations were largely peaceful, appearing to mark a break from the chaos as federal agents made a recent deal to allow local authorities to handle the protests.

But just after midnight, marchers were caught on video using the flag and holy book as kindling for bonfires lit outside the federal courthouse, which has been a focal point of rioting after the death of George Floyd in police custody in May, according to a news report.

“Left-wing activists bring a stack of Bibles to burn in front of the federal courthouse in Portland,” claimed Ian Miles Cheong on Twitter Saturday.

The post featured a video which showed protestors with “Black Lives Matter” signs tossing bibles into a raging bonfire. The video, which has gone viral, had more than 1.8 million views and thousands of retweets.

“Now we move to the book burning phase,” said Donald Trump Jr. in a tweet Saturday. “I’m pretty sure ANTIFA doesn’t actually stand for what they say it stands for. Maybe just remove the anti part of [their] name and it’s perfect,” he wrote.

The fire was later put out by members of Moms United for Black Lives Matter, who doused the flames with bottles of water and stomped on the embers, according to KOIN 6, a local CBS affiliate television station in Portland.

So, what does ANTIFA stand for? What is their agenda?

Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”, a favorite of the 60s counter-culture, was on the reading list of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, and his First Secretary of State and Failed 2016 Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Let’s look at rule #8 – rule #13:

8. Keep the pressure on with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.

9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

10. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside.

12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

It’s very apparent from what is happening during Trump’s Presidency that somebody’s read Alinsky’s book.

When our Founding Fathers sat down to provide form and substance to the laws and procedures for governing this new country, which they had fought and won a bloody war over, by pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, they were very aware of the price of tyranny.

They determined that this new nation would be a Constitutional Republic, having had their fill of monarchies.

In order to ensure that no leader of this new nation would go mad with power, and become a tyrannical despot, our Founders set up a System of Checks and Balances, overseen by Three Branches of Government: the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial, with each branch having a distinct and LIMITED role.

The situation, which we as a nation, find ourselves in today, is one which our Founding Fathers sought valiantly to avoid.

During 8 years of a Previous Imperious Presidency, we suffered under a “Tyranny of the Minority”.

This minority was not based on color, rather, it was one based on political ideology and self-interest.

As the past several years showed before the election of Donald J. Trump as President, this minority, buoyed by money from this “sponsors”, including the Halls of Power in Washington, DC, were willing to shut down anyone who threatened “what they had” by ANY MEANS NECESSARY, including political devices and beliefs, which we, as a country, had gone to war against in the past.

This quote comes from the Jewish Virtual Library. It is taken from a speech, delivered in 1942, given on the 19th Anniversary of the “Beer Hall Putsch”, by German Chancellor Adolph Hitler.

The Beer Hall Putsch was an incident that took place on November 8, 1923, when Nazi troops under the direction of Hermann Goering surrounded the a beer hall in Munich, Germany. At 8:30 p.m., Hitler and his storm troopers burst into the beer hall causing instant panic. Hitler announced to the crowd that the Revolution had begun, and went to the back room of the hall to try to persuade the local officials to capitulate to him. They wouldn’t. As I have related before, according to various sources, during the Nazi Occupation of Hungary in the 1940s, the Funder of moveon.org and the never-ending protests against President Donald J. Trump by groups such as Refuse Fascism and BLM, George Soros , reported his own countrymen to the Nazis, facilitating their removal via “the long train ride from which very few ever returned”.

These Modern Day Bolsheviks are unknowingly doing the bidding of evil fascists themselves, just as the original Bolsheviks did.

The Antifa, the BLM, and all of the other radicalized “Social Organizations” are carrying out the Machiavellian Plans of a very evil man, who almost bankrupted England, and, in his long life, has stood for the very things which these “Social Justice Warriors” claim to be fighting against.

Trump Tweets About Possibly Delaying the Election Due to Mail-In Voting Fraud…Dems Throw Hissy Fit…Trolling Accomplished

Claiming at Thursday’s White House briefing that the 2020 elections could be “fixed” and “rigged,” President Trump again highlighted the risks of nationwide, universal mail-in balloting in stark terms — including by citing news articles and experts who have raised similar concerns.

Before taking questions, Trump honored former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, noting that “unfortunately, he passed away from a thing called the China virus.” Trump also hit Democrats’ plans to keep schools and businesses closed, saying they would cause “probably more death” and economic destruction than coronavirus itself.

Within seconds, Trump was pressed on his tweet earlier in the day that suggested the election could be delayed due to mail-in ballot fraud. He responded that delays in mail-in ballot results, including lost ballots, could mean the election winner isn’t clear for weeks or even months after Election Day.

“You’re sending out hundreds of millions of universal mail-in ballots. Hundreds of millions. Where are they going? Who are they being sent to? It’s common sense,” Trump said. “I want an election, and a result, much more than you. I think we’re doing very well. … I don’t want to see a rigged election.”

The president held up a Wall Street Journal article entitled “New York’s Mail-Vote Disaster,” as well as a CBS News article entitled “Vote-by-mail experiment reveals potential problems within postal voting system ahead of November election.” He cited a similar piece in The Washington Post.

The press conference followed a backlash against Trump’s comments from both sides of the aisle on Thursday, with Democrats railing against the suggestion and some Republicans saying they opposed it. The Senate’s top Republican, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, flatly told a Kentucky news station the election would not be moving.

Earlier this month, a Fox News review found a slew of issues with mail-in ballots in recent elections. A dramatic local news report this week, tweeted out by the president on Thursday, highlighted missing ballots in a test of the United States Postal Service’s ability to handle mail-in ballots.

“We all agree that absentee voting is good,” Trump said, referring to votes by mail where citizens provide a justification for sending in a ballot remotely. He then hit Democrats for voicing concerns about Russian election interference, only to ignore the risks posed by mail-in voting.

“Mail-in voting will lead to the greatest fraud,” he added. “Stupid people may not know it.”

The brouhaha began when Trump tweeted at 8:46 a.m. ET: “With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???”

Hours later, Trump appeared to suggest he was trying to raise awareness, not seriously suggest he would try to delay the election. “Glad I was able to get the very dishonest LameStream Media to finally start talking about the RISKS to our Democracy from dangerous Universal Mail-In-Voting (not Absentee Voting, which I totally support!),” he wrote.

Several experts have long called mail-in balloting an invitation to widespread fraud.

“Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud,” read the conclusion of a bipartisan 2005 report authored by the Commission on Federal Election Reform, which was chaired by former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker.

And a 2012 article in The New York Times was headlined, “Error and Fraud at Issue as Absentee Voting Rises.” The article states that “votes cast by mail are less likely to be counted, more likely to be compromised and more likely to be contested than those cast in a voting booth, statistics show.”

Twitter has previously slapped a warning label on Trump’s tweets about mail-in ballots. Fox News has reported that Twitter’s “Head of Site Integrity” Yoel Roth is in charge of fact-checking efforts – and that he has previously referred to Trump and his team as “ACTUAL NAZIS,” mocked Trump supporters by saying that “we fly over those states that voted for a racist tangerine for a reason,” and called Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., a “personality-free bag of farts.”

Why do Democrats keep proposing dumb things like mail-in voting?

Well, it is probably because they do not have a very high opinion of the intelligence of average Americans.

Like the Medicine Shows of the Old West or the old Carnival Sideshows, the Democrats rely on the gullibility of average Americans.

Anyone who has ever received a Christmas Card on the 4th of July knows that the U.S. Mail is famous for is slow delivery and just downright losing letters and packages in transit.

The Democrats, who for the past several decades have said that “Every Vote Counts” , now, all of the sudden, want to place the future of our country in the hands of the United States Postal Service.

Why? Because fraud and deception is what today’s Far Left Democrats, like Marxists who have come before them, are good at.

So, why did the President tweet about possibly delaying the 2020 Presidential Election over this issue?

Have you ever shined a laser pen light in front of a cat and watched it chase that laser for hours?

Boys and girls, President Trump kept the entire Far Left Democratic Party, the MSM, SWJs, and Social Media Amateur Political Pundits having a hissy fit all day yesterday with one little tweet.

If America’s children can go back to school and the anthem-kneeling NBA and MLB can play sports for money, then certainly Americans can safely vote in person on November 3rd.

AG Barr to Dems on House Judiciary Committee: “This is a Hearing…I Thought I Was the One Who Was Supposed to be Heard?” Why Were the Dems Afraid?

Attorney General Bill Barr clashed with Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday over accusations that he is carrying out President Trump’s political wishes, as he appeared for a long-awaited hearing where tensions also flared over protests and riots following George Floyd’s death in police custody.

The hearing, originally scheduled for 10 a.m. local time, was delayed after committee chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., was in a car accident. Nadler did not suffer any injuries.

Once the hearing, which lasted until mid-afternoon, Nadler did not hesitate to express his scorn for Barr and his Justice Department.

“Thank you for being here, Mr. Barr,” Nadler said with a note of sarcasm, pointing out that this was the attorney general’s first time appearing before the committee.

The chairman went on to claim that Barr and his department have “downplayed the effects of systemic racism” in the wake of Floyd’s death and ongoing protests.

Addressing the department’s approach to cases related to the Russia probe, Nadler summed up the DOJ’s attitude by claiming that “the president’s enemies will be punished, his friends will be protected,” no matter the cost, and saying that the DOJ’s actions have caused “real damage to our democratic norms.”

“In your time at the department, you have aided and abetted the worst failings of the president,” Nadler said.

Ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, fired back in his opening that Democrats’ hostility toward Barr is based on one thing: “Spying.”

Jordan said that Democrats took exception to Barr accusing the Obama administration of spying on the Trump campaign, despite evidence that has come out revealing flaws in the FBI’s process in acquiring a warrant to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Jordan also pointed to evidence that the FBI engaged in questionable tactics in investigating Michael Flynn, whose criminal case the DOJ requested be dismissed. At another point in the hearing, Barr affirmed earlier reporting that he has appointed U.S. Attorney John Bash of the Western District of Texas to investigate the practice of “unmasking” Americans who have had conversations with foreign officials.

Jordan then addressed the ongoing unrest in the U.S., showing a lengthy montage of media clips that began with reporters calling the incidents “peaceful protests” and then going into a string of clips of violence and fires in various parts of the country.

Barr, speaking next with his opening remarks, did not shy away from Democrats’ accusations against him. He insisted that he acts independently of the president and that his goal is to make sure that everyone is treated equally under the law.

He emphatically stated that Trump “has not attempted to interfere” in decisions regarding the handling of criminal matters.

“On the contrary, he has told me from the start that he expects me to exercise my independent judgment to make whatever call I think is right,” he continued. “That is precisely what I have done.”

Barr also addressed the racial tension following Floyd’s death. While acknowledging the tragedy, he defended the criminal justice system by arguing that in the past 50 years progress has been made and that any racism on the part of individual officers is not due to “some deep-seated racism generally infecting our police departments.” He noted that “[p]olice forces today are far more diverse than ever before.”

The attorney general responded by recent calls to defund police as “grossly irresponsible.”

Barr also spoke out against “violent rioters and anarchists” that he said have “hijacked legitimate protests,” specifically mentioning the ongoing unrest in Portland as an example.

The Trump administration has been blasted in the media for sending federal officers in to quell the unrest, but Barr defended the effort, arguing that these are not peaceful protests, but “an assault on the Government of the United States.” He described the weapons that some demonstrators have used, and noted that a federal courthouse has been under siege.

The tension only escalated once the questioning began, with Nadler implying that Barr was using federal forces responding to unrest to provide material to aid Trump’s campaign.

When asked if he has discussed the campaign with Trump, Barr answered sharply, stating, “I’m a member of the Cabinet and there’s an election going on, obviously the topic comes up,” adding that “it shouldn’t be a surprise.”

Nadler later accused Barr of using federal forces to provide Trump with footage for campaign ads. When Barr tried to respond and say that he was not using federal law enforcement to help Trump’s campaign, Nadler spoke over him.

Later in the hearing, Barr got an opportunity to explain federal activities in Portland.

“Federal courts are under attack. Since when is it OK to burn down a federal court?” Barr said.

He said: “If someone went down the street to the Prettyman Court here, that beautiful courthouse we have right at the bottom of the hill and started breaking windows and firing industrial-grade fireworks in to start a fire, throw kerosene balloons in and start fires in the court, is that OK? Is that OK now? No, the U.S. Marshals have a duty to stop that and defend the courthouse, and that’s what we are doing in Portland. We are at the courthouse, defending the courthouse.”

“We are not out looking for trouble.”

At another point in the hearing, Barr lamented that only one political party seemed to be sticking up for federal property and condemning mobs.

“What makes me concerned for the country is this is the first time in my memory that the leaders of one of our two great political parties, the democratic party are not coming out and condemning mob violence and the attack on federal courts,” Barr said. “Why can’t we just say, you know, violence against federal courts has to stop? Could we hear something like that?”

Barr also had an opportunity to explain his positions in the Michael Flynn and Roger Stone cases, and launched an impassioned defense against the accusations that he has treated the president’s friends with particular and improper favor and gone after his enemies.

…The hearing was also full of tension between Barr and Democratic lawmakers as they fought to speak over one another. The questioning from Reps. Lou Correa, D-Calif., and Mary Gay Scanlon, D-Pa., became particularly heated as kept trying to respond to their comments.

“This is a hearing,” Barr said. “I thought I was the one who was supposed to be heard?”

Jordan came to Barr’s defense when he questioned Nadler on why he was permitting Democratic lawmakers to interrupt the attorney general and not let him respond to questions.

“For months you’ve tried to get the attorney to come,” Jordan told Nadler. “He’s here. Why don’t you let him speak? Why don’t you let him answer the questions?”

Jordan continued: “If you want the attorney general to come at least let him answer the accusations made against him…Time after time you refuse to let the attorney general answer the questions posed to him.“

I thought that AG Barr did a very good job yesterday.

The Democrats in the Judicial Committee did everything that they could to try to rattle him and get him to explode and be unprofessional,

They also knew that, if they let him answer that he would have made them look like the fanatical idiots that they are.

The problem is, by not letting him answer, they achieved the same outcome.

Average Americans were remarking all over Social Media yesterday about how badly the Dems were treating the Attorney General.

If they hoped that yesterday’s Inquisition was going to help the poor impression that average Americans already had of them, they overestimated themselves.

Their support of the rioters…err…”peaceful protesters” did not help the public’s perception of them, either.

The reason that the Democratic Elite refuse to condemn the rioters is the fact that hey are afraid of losing their positions within they political party if they don’t.

Their party chairman, Tom Perez, is a radical…a Latino Activist.

And, don’t forget about “The Squad” and their supporters.

Not to mention the fact that the money behind Antifa and BLM also lines the pockets of the Democrat Elite.

The fact is the Democrats would love to see this country become a “Socialist Paradise”.

The, they could grow even richer, just like the members of the Soviet Politburo did.

And, if those who enforce or laws are “defunded”, who would be left to stop them?
