Thoughts For a Palm Sunday: What Would Jesus See If He Rode Into Washington?

As I sit here on Palm Sunday morning, I was wondering what Jesus would see if he came into Washington, DC riding on a donkey.

I believe that Christ would see a country divided thanks to the views of two political parties.

What I mean by that is he would see one political party who is trying to bting our country back from a spiraling collapse by trying to reemphasize America’s place as a world leader while strengthening our country domestically and attempting to bring back the traditional American faith and values which made our country strong to begin with.

The other political party and their followers are advocating a cradle-to-grave totalitarian government in which 50% or more of taxpayers’ income would be relegated for use by the state to appease those they deem worthy of Americans’ money.

On this side, he would see a political party trying to rewrite the Bible as a book advocating sin, “non-traditional families”, and “fighting fascism”, while the advocates of this political ideology don’t have a clue as to what fascism is

People have taken the word of God and thrown away salvation through repentance by proclaiming that Jesus would accept people’s sin.

Yes, He loves us all, but he hates sin.

And that’s enough of my preaching for today.

The government viewpoint, which those out of power at this moment, are espousing can be seen in their fight against the elimination of financial corruption in our government.

You can also see what they really believe in their fight against Israel and their support of those who would destroy her and her people ,

The Israelis are proclaimed by God to be his people in Genesis 12: 1-3.

The bottom line is, unless this country can find its way back to embracing what is right and stop embracing what isn’t, this country could very well eventually be assigned to the Dustbin of History.

As a brother-in-Christ always tells me, it’s not politicians who are going to save this country.

It’s God.

Hosanna!

ABC’s Scandal: Abortion Performed to “Silent Night”. Post-Abortion Cocktail to “Ave Maria”. Planned Parenthood Promoted.

th85XTKBQMYesterday, I wrote about this past weekend’s horrible Box Office results, and how out of touch Hollywood Liberals are with the values of average Americans.

Well, last Thursday Night, ABC sunk to a new low, so disgusting and blasphemous, that it defies description.

The word “SICK” doesn’t do it justice.

Last Friday, Ben Shapiro, Senior Editor at Breitbart.com, reported that

How vile is the television industry? They won’t just promote toleration of abortion. They won’t just promote abortion itself. They will sanctify abortion, turn it into a sacred rite of passage.

Last night’s Scandal featured main character Olivia Pope (played by far-left Obama acolyte Kerry Washington) undergoing an abortion. As they wheel Pope into the operating room, the soundtrack underneath plays the Christmas song “Silent Night” – a song dedicated to celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. After her abortion, the show cuts to Pope at home, drinking wine and smiling happily while looking at her Christmas tree. Now the show features “Ave Maria.”

Naturally, Washington saw fit to tweet about the episode by plugging abortion factory Planned Parenthood:

#IStandWithMellie #IStandWithPlannedParenthood

— kerry washington (@kerrywashington) November 20, 2015

The abortion followed character Senator Mellie Grant, a Republican, filibustering her own party to stop defunding of Planned Parenthood – a true television fantasy, if ever there was one, passing former Texas State Senator Wendy Davis off under the guise of Republicanism. Gross.

Planned Parenthood took advantage of the storyline to plug its killing of the unborn:

Tonight the millions of people who tune into Scandal every Thursday night learned that our rights to reproductive health care are under attack. Never one to shy away from critical issues, Shonda Rhimes used her platform to tell the world…We applaud Shonda Rhimes tonight – and every Thursday night – for proving that when women are telling our stories, the world will pause and watch.

Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the show and a television icon, is a major fan of abortion. In 2011, one of her Gray’s Anatomy characters had an abortion; Rhimes justified that decision by saying that the character would have had an abortion, and that it was better for the character to have an abortion rather than resenting her child. Adoption apparently never crossed Rhimes’ mind; better to just off the baby. At the time, she lied in interviews, “I don’t think it’s about the agenda,” although she added that one of the pro-life characters in Private Practice was “viciously” pro-life.In 2014, Rhimes came out of the closet fully on her agenda. She’s on the board of Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles, and she said:

Most accidentally impregnated characters, even young women who have only lived in a post-Roe v. Wade world, don’t bring up or even briefly consider the option of an abortion. It is as if it doesn’t even exist. And [that’s] weird and not realistic…let’s be serious about what’s really going on.
But of course, it’s not about just being serious that people have abortions. That’s just the great Hollywood lie: “We depict, we don’t push values.” Nonsense. Every creative decision is a choice between portrayals of certain values. If Rhimes had shown an abortion and then Pope devastated afterward, that would be one choice; instead, she chose to turn abortion into a full-on holy affair, complete with Christian odes playing in the background. Never do these shows depict a 3D ultrasound. That would be giving the audience too much information.

This is the new Democratic Party and the new left: freed from the shackles of “safe, legal, and rare,” the feminist left now cheers abortion as an affirmative good, something to smile about over cocoa while comfortably listening to religious music – because hey, you don’t have anything to feel bad about. Abortion is just something people do, rather like removing a kidney stone, only with a generalized feeling of empowerment. FXX’s You’re the Worst now terms abortion “abobo” to make a joke of it; NBC’s Parenthood championed a high school abortion in 2013. Abortion is now a pleasant decision with no moral consequences, a fun thing to do in your off-hours if you were just screwing around and decided not to slap on a condom.

Hollywood creates characters we care about. Hollywood creates friends for us, people with whom we schedule time once a week. Then, after creating those characters, Hollywood has them perform activities we find morally repugnant, but portrays those acts as decent. Being entertained requires not merely a willing suspension of disbelief, but a certain suspension of morality – how else could we stand watching the lies, betrayals, and acts of violence of every sort we routinely watch? Hollywood takes advantage of our entertainment-minded nonjudgmentalism and attempts to extend it to our general moral calculus.

It’s gross, and it is a violation of the unspoken compact between entertainers and their audiences. Decent people ought to tune out of Shonda Rhimes’ leftist tripe.

Have you ever tried to have a discussion with an ardent  pro-abortion supporter, either on Facebook or face-to-face? You won’t hear these “Champions of Tolerance” call those innocent lives, babies, human beings, a life, a soul, a gift from God, or anything remotely resembling something that they should feel remorse about killing.

Heck, Pro-Abortionists are opposed to the taking of sonograms of the woman’s womb, before she has a abortion. They’re afraid that the “seed-carrier” will realize that IS a HUMAN BEING inside her, and will decide not to kill that baby.

From the scientific perspective, Dr. Carlo Bellieni, in his book “Dawn of the I: Pain, Memory, Desire, Dream of the Fetus,” writes:

As soon as it is born, the child shows in a scientifically demonstrable way that it recognizes its mother’s voice and distinguishes it from that of a stranger. Where has he learned that voice other than in the maternal womb?

There are also direct proofs. For example, we register how the movements and cardiac frequency of the fetus vary if we transmit unexpected sounds through the uterine wall. And we see that at first the fetus is startled, then it gets used to it, just like we do when we hear something that does not interest us.

In fact, the scientific evidence is immense. We cannot understand how it can be thought that it becomes a person at a certain point, perhaps when coming out of the uterus.

From the physical point of view, at the birth very little really changes: Air enters the lungs, the arrival of blood from the placenta is interrupted, the type of circulation of blood in the heart changes, and not much more.

As I often say, only blind faith in magic arts or some strange divinity can lead one to think that there is a “human” quality leap at a given moment — certainly not science.

I know that there are some of you that read my blog that are non-believers.  For you and for my Christian brothers and sisters, I offer the following closing thoughts:

There is a curious unique enzyme found in the human body.   Laminin is defined by the Webster Medical Dictionary as a “glycoprotein that is a component of connective tissue basement membrane and that promotes cell adhesion.”  In other words, a glue within the body.

Colossians 1:15-17 tells us:

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

I believe that our nation and our leaders should realize that you cannot mock God. With actions come consequences. You know, that “cause and effect” thingy that “the Smartest people in the Room” are so found of bringing up.

Each and every life is precious to The Creator. That baby growing in her womb, is not the property of the mother. Each and every one of us belong to the One who made us. He is our Sovereign Lord.

All those who believe that “it is a woman’s right to choose”…think too highly of themselves.

For every life is a Gift from The Creator to be loved and cherished, as He first loved us.

As far as ABC and all those who cheered that glorification of a human sacrifice are concerned…

I have a warning for “The Smartest People in the Room”…

God will not be mocked.

Rand Paul Wants GOP Conservative Base to “Agree to Disagree on Social Issues”

rand paulKentucky Senator Rand Paul, a second generation politician who learned politics at the feet of his father, the perpetual presidential hopeful Dr Ron Paul, announced yesterday that social issues would just have to take a back seat and Conservatives would basically have to sit down and shut up about them, in order for the GOP to grow and prosper and, therefore, win the Presidency in 2016.

The Washington Post reported that

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) says in a new interview that Republicans should embrace a more tolerant view of those who don’t hold conservative positions on social issues.

“I think that the Republican Party, in order to get bigger, will have to agree to disagree on social issues,” Paul told vocativ.com. “The Republican Party is not going to give up on having quite a few people who do believe in traditional marriage. But the Republican Party also has to find a place for young people and others who don’t want to be festooned by those issues.”

Paul’s comments harken back somewhat to former Indiana governor Mitch Daniels’s (R) call for a “truce” on social issues within the GOP. The comment at the time drew a rebuke from social conservatives.

At that same time, those groups aren’t as influential in today’s Republican Party, where an increasing number of people now support gay marriage, for instance.

Has Rand Paul lost his ever loving mind? Has he forgotten who elected him to public office in the first place? It sure wasn’t the GOP establishment. It was Kentucky conservatives who put him in office.

Rand Paul became a favorite of TEA Party Rallies Before the last midterm elections, which perfectly positioned him as a man of the people and endeared him to Kentucky Conservatives. Since his election to the Senate, there are times when he has been a chameleon, professing to be a TEA Party Conservative with one breath, and being in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens with the next.

Now, he comes forth with this opinion, asking social conservatives aka Reagan Conservatives, To put aside their faith and value system “For the good of the party”.

Does that sound like something a Tea Party Conservative would say? Or, rather, does that sound like something the GOP Establishment would say?

Has Senator Paul, like Senator Rubio before him, been seduced by the power brokers in the Republican Party?

Perhaps.  Or, perhaps his political aspirations have superseded his desire to be a good public servant, and represent the wishes of those who elected him in the first place. As I said before there is a concerted effort within the ranks of the Republican Party to marginalize the conservative base to the point of nonexistence.

And, now it is apparent that Rand Paul is playing both sides against the middle in an effort to be everything to everybody and further his political aspirations.

Why are Conservatives always the ones being asked to compromise their beliefs?

Probably because Liberals change their belief systems as often as George Clooney changes girlfriends.

Rush Limbaugh made some interesting points on his October 1st show, last year:

The Republican Party knows everything, and they believe, …that conservatism is the problem.

That’s why they think they can eliminate, or if not eliminate, they can marginalize this demonization if they are also a little bit for amnesty, and if they moderate on abortion and a woman’s right to choose, or if they go along with some form of national health care. And of course that’s guaranteed to lose because then they’re just pretenders, they’re not the real deal. The Democrats are the real leftists. But it has resulted in so many people, and not just politicians on the Republican side, but Republican media people being literally cowed, literally scared to death.

Now, there are people — you know them, you’ve met them; there’s nothing wrong with this, don’t misunderstand — to whom their reputation is everything. Particularly their reputation with people that don’t know them. And they will do whatever they can to avoid bad press. And if you happen to be a Republican or conservative, and your mission is to avoid bad press, you have to deny who you are. You have to be stealth. You have to cover up who you are, and that’s no good.

…How long did it take them to destroy George W. Bush and everything that he wanted to do? It took them years, but they were relentless, they never stopped. And they didn’t care the outcome. Bush wasn’t even a conservative. Bush was just a good old standard rock ‘n’ roll establishment Republican, and they still had to take him out. As I say, the problem here is that Republicans know this, and people who are just obsessed with their reputations among people that don’t know them, their goose is cooked. They’re going to easily compromise who they are in the pursuit of being liked and loved.

…And I think Ted Cruz, if he ever wants to be president, the biggest thing he’s got going for him is that he’s conservative. This ongoing effort, even now among Republicans, to place an albatross around the necks of conservatives — we’re not the problem. We are not the problem. We are the last-gasp effort to stave all of this off. Conservatives in this country are the only ones fighting any of this, really.

Unfortunately, Republican politicians such as Rand Paul have decided that is better for them to stick with the failed practices of the Moderate Republican Party of the past several elections, than to embrace the Conservative movement which gave them the House of Representatives in 2010.

It appears that Senator Paul, now apparently an adjunct member of the Establishment Republicans , would rather twerk with a Beltway Bimbo than dance with the one who brung him.
