Frustrated Joe Scarborough Asks About Trump Supporters, “Who The Hell Are These People”? Let Me Tell You, Joe…

CNSNews.com reports that

A recent poll shows grassroots Republicans approve of President Donald Trump’s performance in Helsinki, despite the best efforts of liberal Democrats and media pundits to trash the president for absolutely everything he did/does and said/says.

The Axios/SurveyMonkey poll asked,”Do you approve or disapprove of the way Trump handled his press conference with Putin?” Seventy-nine percent of Republicans approved.

“Who the hell are these people?” an incredulous Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” asked on Friday’s show. He and his ilk are stunned that President Trump would invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the United States, when Trump’s recent meeting in Helsinki was “called treasonous” by the elites.

“Who are these people and what have they done to my party?” asked Scarborough, who has left the Republican Party and is about to marry his very liberal “Morning Joe” co-host.

“It was just really shocking that the president of the United States — after being called treasonous by quite a few people in the foreign policy/defense community– still trying to clean up…the mess that he created when he went to Helsinki and kowtowed to an ex-KGB agent, that he rushes to announce that now Vladimir Putin is coming to Washington, before cleaning up the last mess on aisle 7.”

Scarborough gave his own spin to the poll showing that 80 percent of Americans “think it’s okay to cower before an ex-KGB agent, to insult allies. You do wonder, is it just a Donald Trump problem now? This is a problem with the party cast wide.”

Scarborough warned that support for Trump will ultimately “destroy” the Republican Party.

Joining the chorus, contributor John Heilemann said: “I think the corruption and bankruptcy of the Republican Party has been a long time in the making, but there is no Republican Party any more in any sense that you would have defined the Republican Party ten years ago, and the way that you would have, what the Republican Party stood for, at least in the post-World War II era.

“It has become the party of Donald Trump,” Heilemann said. “And so in a thorough way, we’ve seen this, not just in the polling — the startling polling in relation to how Republicans now have seen the performance of Donald Trump in Helsinki, presumably how they will see his invitation now of Vladimir Putin to come to Washington to give him the ultimate kind of — ah, rather than to chastise him, rather than to criticize him for Russia’s role in meddling in an American election, he’s giving him the ultimate kind of cherry-on-top of a sundae. This is a thing that a Russian president would want most of all to get.””

“But, John,” Scarborough said, “it goes to Republicans, though. Rank-and-file Republicans — 75 percent, 80 percent saying they liked what he did in Helsinki when even, again, his closest allies in the media said he was either treasonous or a complete dupe.

“Who are these people that I grew up with that were the most — the toughest on Russia, that fought the cold war alongside with NATO? When the Soviets’ goal during the Cold War is the same goal that Vladimir Putin has now, which is to disrupt Western democracies and break up NATO? The goal is identical to what Republicans always supported. And you talk about trade. 73 percent of Republicans now are telling pollsters that they think tariffs are good for America?

“This — again, who are these people? It’s like — like political body snatchers,” Scarborough lamented.

Heilemann again: “Joe, these are the people who now call themselves — now are the Republican Party. The people who you think of as having constituted the Republican Party in your life growing up in the party — they are now either no longer in the party, or they are, in a kind of weak and craven way, sitting on the sidelines and wringing their hands over what Donald Trump has done to the party, but not really doing much about it. Some of them are speaking out, some of them are not…

“But the rank and file of the party now, the — the grass-roots of the Republican party are people who believe what Donald Trump believes, and not what you believe, and not what Republicans believed in the post-world war II era; they don’t believe in free trade, they don’t believe in immigration, they don’t believe in standing up to Russian, previously Soviet, expansionism, they don’t believe in NATO — they don’t believe those things. That’s not what the Republican Party is anymore. So to answer your question, I don’t know what happens.”

Scarborough said for the past two decades, he could go to any Lincoln-Reagan dinner across America, “and you could say the same thing wherever you went, and you’d get the applause. Now — according to these polls it’s not a split. Now 80 percent of Americans are fine with Donald Trump’s kowtowing to an ex-KGB agent who wants to destroy our allies, and wants to disrupt our elections. And they — now, you look at this poll, they support tariffs.

“What the hell — what the hell — who the hell are these people?! What is wrong with these Republicans?! Where has the party, not of my youth, but of my early 50s gone?!” Scarborough asked.

“It’s gone, Joe,” guest Susan del Percio said.

And the funeral went on from there.

I guess that Joe Scarborough thought that the entire nation would be so gullible as to buy the spin that the Main Stream Media pumped out 24/7 for several days in a row about President Trump’s meeting with Vladimir Putin and the Press Conference after it.

Evidently, Joe and the rest of the Democratic Party lackeys whom we refer to as the Main Stream Media learned nothing from the Presidential Campaign and Election of 2016.

If you will recall, the MSM spent hours upon hours, days upon days attempting to drag Hillary Clinton’s Far Left cantankerous old as…err…self across the finish line.

In fact, they were so certain that Hillary’s victory the evening of November 8, 2016 was a fait accompli, that the look on the faces of the anchors and pundits on Joe’s own network, MSNBC, and the other Liberal News Channels was one of utter shock and disbelief when the returns started pouring in and states that were supposedly in Hillary’s back pocket went to Trump.

My bride and I stayed up and laughed out loud.

But, I digress…

All of these Cable News “Political Pundits”, including Joe Scarborough, still have no clue as to why they lost.

Nor do they understand whom it was that elected Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America and continue to stand by him today with no hesitation.

Hey, Joe…let me explain a little concept I like to call “reality”…

Between the states that butt up against the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, there is a massive area of land where average Americans live in major cities, suburbs, and small towns, known as the “Heartland of America”.

We average Americans live our lives quite differently than you guys in the areas of the Northeast known as the Beltway and the Big Apple and the area on the other side of the nation known as the Left Coast.

We were brought up to believe in a system of Traditional American Faith and Values and in morality and ethics.

We were taught to stand up and place our hands over our hearts during our National Anthem.

We were taught to respect others by using phrases which are probably foreign to you such as “yes, sir” and “no, ma’am” and “please” and “thank you”.

We were also raised to be proud of America and what she stands for and to honor those who protect us at home and abroad while sacrificing their lives in her defense.

We are a Constitutional Republic created by Founders who pledged “their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor” in order to fight a war which freed us from tyranny and which created a country that would not be governed by mob rule.

Thank God.

So, Joe…”who the Hell” are we?

We are the people whom you and your co-members of the Democratic Party forgot about in your zeal to bow to special interest groups and to take this nation on a path which it was never meant to go on….one of “Democratic Socialism”, i.e. “Marxism”.

We are average Americans and WE, not the Russians, elected Donald J Trump the President of the United States of America.

And, we will continue to stand by him as long as he continues to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

He’s doing fine so far.

…And, you guys can’t stand it.

With “Abolish Ice” Failing, Dems Now Pushing for Impeachment…Over What??!!

cheap-seat-600-li

He’s blowing up their very restrictive class distinctions. He’s blowing up the way they talk about things inside the Beltway. He’s blowing up diplomacy. He’s blowing up foreign relations. And it’s being done in a way these people can’t figure out. For the life of them, they can’t understand straight talk. To them, straight talk is thuggery, it’s insulting, and it’s mysterious. And so Trump is like an invader, an alien, and he’s gotta go. – Rush Limbaugh, “The Rush Limbaugh Radio Program”, 7/19/18

FoxNews.com reports that

Liberal lawmakers and pundits, emboldened by bipartisan outrage over President Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, have kicked up calls to pursue impeachment — indicating the issue could fast become the next litmus test for Democratic candidates.

The discussion follows the recent political frenzy over calls to “abolish” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). That effort briefly served as a similar litmus test in the wake of Trump’s zero-tolerance immigration policy, which led to family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The GOP-controlled House countered on Wednesday with a vote on a resolution expressing support for ICE, effectively daring Democrats to go on the record with opposition to the agency. The measure passed, with a total of 133 Democratic representatives voting “present” — amounting to a procedural refusal to take a position despite weeks of heated anti-ICE rhetoric from party leaders.

But where abolishing ICE fizzled for now as a progressive cause, the impeachment controversy could have sturdier legs. At the least, it has forced Democratic leaders to confront and carefully manage pressure from the base.

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, D-Md., on Tuesday charged that Trump’s remarks in Helsinki, Finland, were “nothing short of treason” and marked a “dark day” in American history.

Hoyer characterized impeachment, though, as a “distraction,” while still keeping the door open for the process in the future. “There will be time enough to deal with other issues and oversight of the president’s performance when we take back control of the House of Representatives,” he said.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., a member of the House Judiciary Committee, toed the same line on Monday.

“I think that’s premature at this point — we should do all we can to make sure that he’s held accountable, that we conduct the investigations the Republicans have been unwilling to do,” Swalwell said in an interview with The Hill.

“If impeachment is the case,” he added, “it’s because we found impenetrable evidence that we take to the American people and will be accepted by both Republicans and Democrats.”

Elsewhere, the calls are getting louder.

Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan all but endorsed impeachment when he tweeted that “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors'” and was “nothing short of treasonous.”

Ron Fein, with Free Speech for People, wrote in The Washington Post that while Trump’s conduct might not rise to the level of treason, “it might still be impeachment-worthy regardless.”

In perhaps the most dramatic sign that the impeachment fight may go mainstream, Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke — he is running to unseat GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in November in the deep-red, pro-Trump state — has both advocated impeaching Trump and downplayed the Democratic consequences of such an effort.

“Impeachment, much like an indictment, shows that there is enough there for the case to proceed,” O’Rourke said this week, “and at this point there is certainly enough there for the case to proceed.”

Really? What, exactly?

The fact that he misspoke in Helsinki? Big hairy deal.

“But…but…RUSSIAN COLLUSION!!!”

Prove it. Mueller hasn’t.

The fact that he tweets too much?

He is bypassing the Main Stream Media, just like Ronald Reagan did.

The fact that he wants to place a wall on our Southern Border?

The majority of Americans want him to.

Or, is it because he is actually allowing ICE to do their jobs and they are deporting some of your future Democratic Voters?

They should have come here legally.

The fact that he is allowing Obamacare to collapse on its own?

It was failing before he won the 2016 Presidential Election.

Perhaps you would like to impeach President Trump over the fact that he supports our Armed Forces and he wants them to be better equipped than our enemies?

Over the past several years, under a Democratic President, our Brightest and Best were used as guinea pigs in social experimentation for your political causes.

Perhaps you guys are upset because his Foreign Policy of America First is working?

I thought you guys were in the Congress of the United States of America, not the United Nations.

Perhaps you’re upset that we have such a gracious, classy First Lady who speaks 6 languages and who represents her husband and our nation so well at home and abroad?

In the cellphone sales business, that’s called an “UPGRADE”.

I know what it is that you want to impeach him over!!!

He beat Hillary Clinton on November 8, 2016 for the Presidency of the United States of America despite the best efforts of the Obama Administration’s Department of Justice and FBI Hierarchy and all of George Soros’ money that was spent on “Astroturf Protests”.

Sorry, Skippy.

The fact that you guys in the Far Left Democratic Party are a bunch of undereducated, immature, poor losers whose entire Political Platform is composed of nothing but hate for President Donald J. Trump is NOT grounds for Impeachment.

Keep on pulling away ideologically from average Americans and the Democratic Party will be destined to go the way of the Whigs. (Look it up, if you guys haven’t taken them out of the history books, also.)

And, when this push for Impeachment fails, please don’t try a “Russian” Revolution.

Average Americans still proudly cling to our Bibles and guns.

And, you guys don’t even know which restroom to use.

Trump Fires Back, Calls Former CIA Director Brennan “A Very Bad Guy”

4E5BF4AD00000578-5964479-image-a-2_1531874315085

“I think John Brennan’s completely unhinged”. – Sen. Rand Paul, “The Story”, Fox News Channel. 7/17/18

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump denied he was “pro-Russia” and slammed former CIA Director John Brennan in a Fox News interview airing Tuesday night, after the ex-intelligence chief described Trump’s news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin as “treasonous.”

“I think Brennan is a very bad guy and if you look at it a lot of things happened under his watch,” Trump told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Monday. “I think he’s a very bad person.”

The “Tucker Carlson Tonight” interview was recorded in Helsinki following the Trump-Putin news conference, at which Trump appeared to dismiss the U.S. intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia meddled in the 2016 election. Trump backtracked on Tuesday, claiming he meant to say he didn’t see why Russia “wouldn’t” be responsible for the meddling.

On Monday, Brennan tweeted that Trump’s performance at the news conference “rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors.'”

“Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin,” added Brennan. “Republican Patriots: Where are you???”

In his interview, Trump compared Brennan to FBI official Peter Strzok, former FBI attorney Lisa Page, former FBI Director James Comey and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

“When you watch all of the things that have happened … you look at the deception, the lies,” Trump told Carlson. “These are people that in my opinion are truly bad people, and they’re being exposed for what they are.”

When Carlson asked Trump if he considered Russia America’s greatest adversary, the president answered: “I won’t even use the word adversary. We can all work together. We can do great. Everybody can do well and we can live in peace.”

Trump also invoked the Soviet Union’s role in fighting Nazi Germany during World War II: “In World War II, Russia lost 50 million people and helped us win the war. I was saying to myself the other day, ‘You know, Russia really helped us.'”
“I’m not pro-Russia, pro-anybody,” Trump went on. “I just want to have this country be safe. … You know, Russia and the United States control 90 percent of the nuclear weapons in the world and getting along with Russia – and not only for that reason – it’s a good thing, not a bad thing.”

When President Trump described John O. Brennan as “a very bad guy”, he wasn’t kidding.

Brennan was “Deep State” before “Deep State” was “en vogue”.

Courtesy of discoverthenetworks.org,  here is a brief overview of Former CIA Director John O. Brennan…

  • Longtime CIA official

  • Served as a senior advisor to Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign

  • Said in 2009 that he was “pleased to see that a lot of Hezbollah individuals are in fact renouncing … terrorism and violence and are trying to participate in the political process in a very legitimate fashion”

  • Believes that tactics like waterboarding are not only inconsistent with “our ideals as a nation,” but also “undermine our national security” because they “are a recruitment bonanza for terrorists”

  • Explains that “jihad” means “to purify oneself or to wage a holy struggle for a moral goal”

  • Supports trials of Islamic terrorists in civilian courts rather than in military tribunals

  • In 2011, he called for the FBI to eliminate its “offensive” curriculum/training materials which made reference to “jihad” and “radical Islam.”

  • Was involved in crafting the false talking points that then-Secretary of State Susan Rice gave regarding the 9/11/12 terrorist attack against a U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi

  • Was appointed as CIA director by President Barack Obama in 2013

…In 1976 he voted for Communist Party USA presidential nominee Gus Hall. As historian Ron Radosh points out, “The CPUSA at that time was dedicated to gaining support for Soviet foreign policy, with the intent of defeating the United States in the Cold War…. Moscow regularly gave Hall thousands of dollars to enable the Communists in America to carry on their work.” Brennan has explained that his motivation for supporting Hall was that he (Brennan) was unhappy “with the system” and saw the “need for change.”

…In September 2012, Brennan was involved in crafting the false talking points that then-Secretary of State Susan Rice gave regarding the 9/11/12 terrorist attack against a U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. Specifically, Rice claimed that according to the “best information at present,” the deadly attack was not premeditated, but rather, a “spontaneous reaction” to “a hateful and offensive video that was widely disseminated throughout the Arab and Muslim world.”

…On January 7, 2013, President Obama nominated Brennan for the position of CIA director. During his Senate confirmation hearing on February 7, 2013, he called waterboarding a “reprehensible” practice that “never should’ve taken place in my view.” “As far as I’m concerned, waterboarding is something that never should’ve been employed,” Brennan told Senator Carl Levin, “and, as far I’m concerned, never will be if I have anything to do with it.”

…In February 2013, John Guandolo, a former Marine who subsequently worked eight years in the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division as a “subject matter expert” regarding the Muslim Brotherhood and the global spread of Islam, stated that Brennan had converted to Islam years earlier in Saudi Arabia. Said Guandolo:

“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia. That fact alone is not what is most disturbing. His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either is a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to be the director of Central Intelligence…. The facts of the matter are confirmed by U.S. government officials who were also in Saudi Arabia at the time that John Brennan was serving there and have direct knowledge. These are men who work in very trusted positions, they were direct witnesses to his growing relationship with the individuals who worked for the Saudi government and others and they witnessed his conversion to Islam.”

As you have just read, for Former Director Brennan to call President Trump “treasonous” is the height of irony.

As seems to be the case with a lot of those who served in the hierarchy of America’s Intelligence Agencies under Former President Barack Hussein Obama, they appear to have a skewed perspective, fueled by an egomaniacal sense of self-importance, concerning what it meant to serve our Sovereign Nation and protect America’s “best interests”.

All of these “bad actors” firmly believed that it was in the best interest of themselves, first, and America, second, to stop Donald J. Trump from becoming the President of the United States of America by any means necessary.

Just as I have often referred to the “foot soldiers” of the Far Left Democrats as the “New Bolsheviks”, so these Deep State Operatives, including Brennan, who was involved in the FISA Fiasco, are all involved in this new “Russian Revolution”.

Which is another bit of irony, if you think about it, as those who are seeking to overturn the will of the American people by circumventing our Constitution and nullifying a fair election, are accusing a fairly elected President of “colluding” with the Russians, while it is they who have been “colluding” all along to overthrow a sitting government like Lenin and his followers did a century ago.

All of the hyperbole concerning Trump’s Press Conference after meeting with Putin was purposefully disseminated propaganda meant to divide the American people and to somehow bring down the President, since all of the Far Left Democrats’ schemes, including the Russia Probe itself, have failed miserably so far.

The question is, now that President Trump has explained his comments, what are the desperate Democrats and their Deep State Operatives going to try next?

The Summit Aftermath – Dems, Never-Trumpers, and RINOs, Oh, the “Concern”

90 (2)

FoxNews.com reports that

President Trump faced harsh bipartisan criticism back home for his Helsinki press conference with Vladimir Putin on Monday, as lawmakers claimed the U.S. president missed a chance to “stand up” to the Russian president on election meddling.

The U.S. president, for his part, called the summit with Putin “deeply productive.” After Democrats for days called on him to nix the meeting in the wake of indictments against Russian officers for U.S. campaign hacking, Trump said he would “not make decisions on foreign policy in a futile effort to appease partisan critics.”

He cited progress on a range of issues, and said it would be a “good thing” to get along with Russia.

However, the president angered members of both parties by saying both countries share blame for damaged relations and by not firmly standing by U.S. intelligence assessments that Russia meddled in the 2016 elections.

Trump said he has great confidence in the intelligence community, but Putin gave a “strong and powerful” denial. He said he doesn’t “see any reason why” Russia would be behind election meddling.

“There is no question that Russia interfered in our election and continues attempts to undermine democracy here and around the world,” House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., countered.

Others were less reserved in their response.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who has been out of Washington for months battling brain cancer, issued a blistering statement calling the performance “disgraceful.”

“President Trump proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin. He and Putin seemed to be speaking from the same script as the president made a conscious choice to defend a tyrant against the fair questions of a free press, and to grant Putin an uncontested platform to spew propaganda and lies to the world,” McCain said, calling the president’s comments at the press conference “a recent low point in the history of the American Presidency.”

Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., another Republican often critical of the president, also blasted Trump.

“I never thought I would see the day when our American President would stand on the stage with the Russian President and place blame on the United States for Russian aggression. This is shameful,” Flake tweeted.

Trump later clarified on Twitter: “As I said today and many times before, ‘I have GREAT confidence in MY intelligence people.’ However, I also recognize that in order to build a brighter future, we cannot exclusively focus on the past – as the world’s two largest nuclear powers, we must get along!”

Democrats, meanwhile, cranked up the volume on criticism that had already been building for days — especially after 12 Russians were indicted for allegedly hacking Hillary Clinton campaign and other Democratic groups’ emails in 2016.

Former CIA director John Brennan, another frequent critic of Trump, went so far as to effectively accuse the president of treason.

“Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors.’ It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???”

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said: “President Trump’s weakness in front of Putin was embarrassing, and proves that the Russians have something on the President, personally, financially or politically.”

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer made similar comments, while calling on Congress to ratchet up sanctions on Russia in response to Monday’s events.

“What the president has done is an insult to all Americans,” Schumer said.

Trump is the first non-politician since our nation’s early days to become the President of the United States of America.

As a successful businessman, Trump has always “played the long game” and relied on a keen strategic sense in knowing how to negotiate for not just a short-term win but a long-term win as well.

I believe that is what he was doing yesterday.

If I was in Trump’s position I would not trust the hierarchy of our Intelligence Agencies, either…especially that old Commie, John Brennan.

The Washington Elite and members of the Main Stream Media showed their true colors and their Stage 4 cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome, yesterday.

The Never-Trumpers in the Republican Party joined hands with their brothers and sisters across the Political Aisle in condemning Trump in a show of unity among Professional Politicians who remain offended that a rank outsider somehow became our 45th President.

To put it bluntly, those Washington Insiders on both sides of the Political Aisle who are so offended by President Trump are the ones who put him in office.

Anger has played an important part in the forging of this great country.

It was anger that formed our country….an anger over being held captive to “Taxation Without Representation”…an anger which, as a prime example of history repeating itself, led Americans to choose a Citizen Statesman for their next President over a Professional Politician.

It is this anger, which also propelled Donald J. Trump to his victory in the Republican Primary Race…and those who prefer the Washingtonian Status Quo seem to have forgotten that fact already.

That is why the Republican Establishment, at least some of them, attacked Trump yesterday.

The funny thing is, for all of their angst and “concern” yesterday, if they had not accepted the reality of his Primary Victory, and the fact that Americans were angry, they would have gone down to defeat again in 2016.

They would have never achieved victory by once again trying to push the Jello of “Liberal Moderation” up a hill.

Hence, the failed campaign of Jeb! Bush.

The American people were tired of Political Correctness and anti-American political expediencies being forced down our throats by both political parties and trumpeted by their lackeys in the Main Stream Media.

Donald Trump, for all of his brashness and braggadocio, was a breath of free air and, quite frankly an anomaly. He was not a professional politician. He was a businessman who wanted to become a public servant.

And, so far, what he has accomplished as President has demonstrated that he was up to the challenge.

During his actions since taking office, we have seen Trump exemplify leadership ability and a concern for our country that we did not from his predecessor.

Meanwhile, those on the left are still participating in National Temper Tantrum, as if they have the power to overthrow our Constitution and to end Trump’s Presidency for no reason other than they do not like him.

And, the Never-Trumpers in the GOP Elite would gladly help them.

Unfortunately for the Deep State Operatives within our Intelligence Agencies, Special Counsel Mueller has yet to find any collusion between Trump and the Russians.

So, that will not be happening anytime soon.

And to those Republicans who would rather stand with the Democrats than stand up for a Republican President, it is time for you to go ahead and get it over with and switch parties, go stand with your Democrat Friends, and then sit down and shut up.

It’s not about what you want anymore.

It is about what us average Americans want.

Until He Comes,

Sasha Baron Cohen Wears Disguises to Interview and Mock Americans and Our Values – An “Ignorant Hillbilly” Responds

borat-sacha-baron-cohen-20th-century-fox-everett-030416-1276x850

“The challenge is to Cohen, CBS and Showtime: donate all proceeds to a charitable group that actually respects and supports American Vets. Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country,” – Sarah Palin

FoxNews.com reports that

Sarah Palin apparently wasn’t the only public figure duped by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen for his new show “Who is America?”

Veteran broadcaster Ted Koppel, former U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore and former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio also agreed to interviews with a disguised Cohen, according to reports.

Koppel told the Hollywood Reporter on Thursday that he was asked to be interviewed for an upcoming Showtime series called “Age of Reason.” He said he met a wheelchair-bound man who was equipped with an oxygen tank. He said he was told the show would be about “ordinary folk interviewing the expert.”

However, the former “Nightline” anchor said things took a turn when the interviewer, played by Cohen, started to ask him about President Donald Trump’s inauguration. The actor started to press Koppel on Trump’s crowd being the biggest ever, he told the Hollywood Reporter.

“When I disagreed, he showed me a photograph on his laptop of a huge inaugural crowd and a man holding a digital clock on a pole,” he said. “The clock said 11 p.m. My interviewer pointed out that if the crowd was that huge at 11, hours after the actual inauguration, it had to have been the biggest ever.”

Koppel ended the interview soon after a brief exchange, according to the magazine. Koppel said he never signed a release.

Meanwhile, Moore threatened a lawsuit against Showtime, if the network “airs a defamatory attack on [his] character, Variety reported. Moore said he was tricked when he was invited to receive an award for his “strong support of Israel.”

“I did not know Sacha Cohen or that a Showtime TV series was being planned to embarrass, humiliate, and mock not only Israel, but also religious conservatives such as Sarah Palin, Joe Walsh, and Dick Cheney,” Moore said.

Former Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio admitted in an interview with Breitbart that he, too, was duped by Cohen, who this time posed as a Finnish comedian.

Arpaio said he felt “uncomfortable” by some of the words that Cohen used in the interview, but never walked out.

Palin, the former vice presidential candidate, blasted Cohen on Tuesday for duping her into doing an interview. She claimed she had been approached to participate in a “legit opportunity” to honor “American vets.”

She said she stayed for the interview “out of respect for what I was led to believe would be a thoughtful discussion with someone who had served in uniform.” She ultimately left, however, after claiming to have experienced “a long ‘interview’ full of Hollywoodism’s disrespect and sarcasm.”

Cohen, in character, responded to Palin’s criticisms in a letter. He said he believes Palin was hit by a “b——t grenade.”

Showtime defended Cohen’s antics in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter.

Cohen “is the premier provocateur of our time but not for the sake of ‘gotcha’ moments,” Showtime CEO David Nevins said. “Behind the elaborate setup is a genuine quest for the truth about people, places and politics.”

If there was ever a perfect example of the differences between the Far Left, including those in the “Entertainment Industry” like Sacha Baron Cohen and “average” Americans, like those of us here in the Heartland who are responsible for the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America, here it is,

In keeping with the arrogant smarmy attitudes recently exhibited in front of Congressional Hearings by the Deep State Operatives in the hierarchy of the FBI, Cohen looks down his upturned nose at the traditional values held by average Americans in his new series.

How he accomplishes his “mission” says more about him than the unsuspecting victims whom he takes advantage of.

All of the individuals mentioned in the above article have accomplished a great deal in their chosen fields of endeavor.

If Cohen had chosen to be honest and asked for interviews as himself, he might have received them.

However, honesty and Modern Liberals do not walk the same path.

Instead, Cohen was trying to prove how much smarter Liberals like himself are than Conservatives, or in the case of Ted Koppel “Traditionalists”.

I suppose that the former “Borat” thought that he was being hilarious in his duplicity.

However, like late night talk show hosts such as Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel, Cohen severely overestimates his talent to make people laugh and entertain them.

Liberals always believe themselves to be the smartest ones in any room that they walk into and Sacha Baron Cohen is no exception.

The thing is, though, these “super geniuses” never seem to be able to challenge their targets face to face, one on one. They always have to employ some sort of hook or angle, such as using Liberal Debate Moderators, or in the case of Cohen, cowardly, tasteless disguises.

Hey, Sacha…I have some news for you, Skippy.

Americans between the coasts aren’t impressed.

Just like Hillary Clinton and the Deep State hierarchy ensconced up in the Beltway, you have overestimated your own intelligence.

We “ignorant hillbillies” think that you’re nothing but a pathetic loser.

After Russian Indictment, McCain and Democrats Try to Give Orders to Trump About Putin Meeting

untitled (237)

https://twitter.com/dbongino/status/1017857786569482240

FoxNews.com reports that

Sen. John McCain said Friday that the U.S.-Russia summit in Helsinki “should not move forward” unless President Trump is willing to hold Russia accountable for political meddling. This, after 12 Russian intelligence officers were indicted for allegedly hacking emails from the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party in the 2016 election.

The Republican senator from Arizona released a statement praising the charges, which arose out of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian interference in the election.

The 12 members belonging to the Russian Intelligence agency are accused of hacking into emails from the Hillary campaign and her party, and of leaking damaging discussions between top party members.

“Today’s indictment is a result of the hard work of America’s law enforcement and intelligence officials who dedicate their lives to bringing to justice those who wish to do us harm,” McCain, who has been sidelined while battling cancer, said in a statement.

“These revelations add to a body of evidence confirming an extensive plot by Vladimir Putin’s government to attack the 2016 election, sow chaos and dissension among the American electorate, and undermine faith in our democracy.”

McCain has been a vocal critic of Trump, recently calling his visit to the NATO summit in Brussels “disappointing.”

While not expressing outright support for the meeting with Russia, which is to take place on Monday, McCain said Thursday that that summit represented an opportunity for Trump “to demonstrate his willingness to defend America” against its adversaries.

“Putin is not America’s friend. … Putin is America’s enemy,” McCain said.

He doubled down on that sentiment on Friday, urging Trump to hold the Russian president “accountable.”

“President Trump must be willing to confront Putin from a position of strength and demonstrate that there will be a serious price to pay for his ongoing aggression towards the United States and democracies around the world,” the senator said. “If President Trump is not prepared to hold Putin accountable, the summit in Helsinki should not move forward.”

Trump and Putin will meet in their first official standalone meeting on Monday at the Presidential Palace in Finland. The pair have met twice before, on the sidelines of international meetings.

On Friday, several Democratic leaders also weighed in, in some instances urging the president to consider canceling his summit with Putin.

Sen. Mark Warner, top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, offered Trump an ultimatum for the highly anticipated summit: make Russian interference a priority, or cancel the meeting.

I know that this has been asked numerous times before, but just whose side is Senator John “Maverick” McCain on, anyway?

Anybody with an IQ above double digits can recognize a politically-inspired indictment such as the toothless one that Mueller and Rosenstein announced yesterday coming from a mile away.

Mueller and his team’s sole purpose for conducting their investigation was supposed to be to prove that there was some sort of Russian Collusion with Republican Candidate Donald J. Trump which influenced the outcome of the 2016 Presidential Election.

From the get-go, they have been investigating the Trump Campaign trying to find something…ANYTHING…that would prove that Trump snd his Campaign Staffers “colluded” with those “dirty rotten commies”.

Guess what?

Mueller and his “13 angry Democrats” haven’t found Jack, Jack.

So, gentle readers, if you were a Special Counsel who had failed so miserably in your objective and you found some evidence that the Russians, as they have probably been doing in the last several elections, were cyber-snooping on the Clinton Campaign, wouldn’t you wait for the right moment that, in your mind, would be the optimal opportunity  to somehow hurt the person that you couldn’t find squat on?

Just like Admiral James T. Kirk “vexed” Khan in the Star Trek Movie “The Wrath of Khan”, so does President Donald Trump vex Special Counsel Mueller and all of the GOP Elite RINOs like Sen. McCain.

There is a problem with Mueller’s indictment, though: It doesn’t mean a thing.

He may be able to indict those 12 Russians but how is he going to serve them?

How is he going to “bring them to justice”?

Yesterday’s announcement by Mueller and Rosenstein was, as ol’ Willie Shakespeare would say, a bunch of “sound and fury signifying nothing”.

It was announced yesterday to be a distraction and to hurt Trump’s efforts on his Foreign Policy Trip, especially his meeting with Putin.

But, that’s not going to happen.

President Trump does not answer to the Democrats or the RINOs like “Maverick”.

He answers to the average Americans who elected him President.

And, for you members of the Beltway Elite who may not have noticed, we think that he is doing just fine.

Strzok Lies and the Dems Swear to It

strzok-fbi-hearing-12-gty-jc-180712_hpMain_4x3_992.jpg

FoxNews.com reports that

FBI official Peter Strzok’s first public hearing tumbled into a rancorous and heated political fracas on Thursday, as Republicans clashed with Democrats as well as the former investigator over his anti-Trump texts — and even threatened contempt for initially refusing to answer questions on the Russia probe.

Strzok, throughout it all, remained defiant and maintained that he did not show bias in those infamous messages with former FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

Republicans sharply disputed that assessment, with Rep. Darrell Issa later making Strzok read examples of those texts aloud. Among them, Strzok read one message where he called Trump a “disaster,” and another calling him an “idiot.”

The initial contempt threat surfaced after House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., questioned “how many witnesses” Strzok interviewed before an August 2016 text from Strzok to Page stating “we’ll stop” then-candidate Trump from becoming president.

Strzok said he was not able to answer the question based on instructions from FBI counsel. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., rejected Strzok’s claim.

“Mr. Strzok, you are under subpoena and required to answer the question,” Goodlatte said.

This touched off a heated dispute. Judiciary Ranking Member Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., blasted Goodlatte for putting Strzok in an “impossible position,” while Strzok claimed he was there voluntarily. Goodlatte said Strzok could only consult with his own attorney, not the FBI’s. Several other committee members chimed in, blasting top Republicans on the committee, with Nadler even motioning to adjourn the hearing all together.

Goodlatte, instead, said that at the conclusion of the hearing, Strzok would be subject to “recall to allow the committee to consider proceeding with a contempt citation.”

However, hours later after a break in the hearing, Strzok returned to say that he was advised by FBI counsel that he could in fact answer Gowdy’s earlier question.

But after Gowdy asked it again, Strzok replied only: “I don’t recall. I’d have to check the case file.”

“That’s eerily similar to what you said a couple of hours ago. I’m looking for a number,” Gowdy said. “You don’t recall interviews conducted in the first week of an investigation you originated?”

Strzok maintained that he did not remember, which touched off another heated exchange with Gowdy.

It was one of many throughout the hours-long hearing, which began with Strzok asserting that his political opinions were rooted in “deep patriotism.”

All fascists believe that their actions are “rooted in ‘deep patriotism'”.

When our Founding Fathers sat down to provide form and substance to the laws and procedures for governing this new country, which they had fought and won a bloody war over, by pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, they were very aware of the price of tyranny.

They determined that this new nation would be a Constitutional Republic, having had their fill of monarchies.

In order to ensure that no leader of this new nation would go mad with power, and become a tyrannical despot, our Founders set up a System of Checks and Balances, overseen by Three Branches of Government: the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial, with each branch having a distinct and LIMITED role.

The situation, which we as a nation, find ourselves in today, is one which our Founding Fathers sought valiantly to avoid.

Thanks to the Imperious Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama, which empowered the Far Left, even after 18 months of the advances made by President Donald J. Trump, America is still suffering under a “Tyranny of the Minority”.

This minority is not based on color, rather, it is one based on political ideology and self-interest.

If you try to talk to a Liberal about this New Fascism, they will deny that there is any fascism going on at all. In fact, they will tell you that this is “the will of the people” and they will site Democratically stacked push polls in order to back their opinion up.

What began under the Administration of Former President Barack Hussein Obama is still covertly operating in the Beltway today.

I was watching the proceedings for about an hour or so before I had to go to work yesterday.

I literally had to restrain myself from throwing something at my television whenever Strzok was testifying.

His arrogant smarmy smugness made me want to punch him right in his pie hole.

I have written several posts in the past about the arrogance of those who work up in the Beltway. However, I have never witnessed it so clearly demonstrated “in public if you will” as Dusty Rhodes used to say.

Strzok and the rest of his Deep State Cabal never expected to get caught. They truly believed that Hillary Clinton was going to win in a landslide and their crimes would never see the light of day.

And, the astonishing thing is, they never viewed themselves as treasonous or as being criminals.

In their egotistical minds they did indeed view themselves as “patriots”. They were saving us “smelly Walmart Shoppers” from the catastrophe (in their minds) of Trump being elected President.

However, as was plainly revealed for all of America to see during yesterday’s hearing, Strzok, representing the Deep State, was not the only arrogantly oblivious person in the room.

All the Democratic members of the Committee were pulling out every distraction and silly Parliamentarian Trick that they could think of in order to disrupt and derail the questioning of Strzok by the Republicans because they knew that Lisa Page’s lover had no legitimate defense for his actions except for the feeble lies which he was delivering so smugly in response.

I don’t know where this ongoing investigation will end up but I do know one thing:

Strok, Page, and all of those Democratic Representatives who were acting like clowns in a circus yesterday need to be held in contempt…not just of Congress, but of us average “smelly Walmart shopping” Americans as well.

Oh, and to Representative Steve Cohen, who said that Strzok deserved the Medal of Honor for yesterday’s performance…

Man, you’ve got to give up the weed. That stuff has got you seriously trippin’.

Trump Pushes NATO Countries to Pay Their Fair Share

Nato-summit-Trump-urges-members-urged-to-double-defence-spending

FoxNews.com reports that

NATO leaders pledged their “unwavering commitment” to boost defense spending on Wednesday, following stern words from President Trump criticizing European leaders for spending too little.

The U.S. and European allies signed a declaration stating they are “committed to improving the balance of sharing the costs and responsibilities of alliance membership.”

The declaration comes after confrontational and testy discussions between Trump and other NATO leaders.

Since the election, Trump has criticized NATO countries for not paying their fair share, while suggesting he would only come to the defense of NATO nations that fulfilled their financial obligation.

Trump also has pressed NATO countries to fulfill their goal of spending 2 percent of their gross domestic products on defense by 2024. NATO estimates that 15 members, or just over half, will meet that benchmark based on current trends.

As NATO vows to pursue those targets, Trump is seeking even more.

Via Twitter, he called for members to meet the 2 percent commitment immediately. And in a statement Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Trump, at the summit, “suggested that countries not only meet their commitment of 2 percent of their GDP on defense spending, but that they increase it to 4 percent. Trump wants to see our allies share more of the burden and at a very minimum meet their already stated obligations.”

Before sitting down for the first official meeting of the day, the president engaged in a testy exchange with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. He pressed why the U.S. should continue to pay money to the military alliance while the countries purchase energy from Moscow.

“We are stronger together,” Stoltenberg said, while acknowledging there can be differences among allies.

“But how can you be together when you’re getting energy from the group you want protection from?” Trump responded, using Germany as an example. Trump challenged Stoltenberg to explain why Berlin was getting energy from Russia, and asserted that Germany was “totally controlled” by and “captive to Russia” over a pipeline project.

That pipeline project, Nord Stream 2 pipeline, doubles the amount of gas Russia can send directly to Germany, while sidestepping transit countries like Ukraine. The project is opposed by the U.S. and some European Union members.

“We’re supposed to protect you against Russia and yet you make this deal with Russia,” Trump said of Germany. “Explain that. It can’t be explained.”

Trump followed up on Twitter: “What good is NATO if Germany is paying Russia billions of dollars for gas and energy? Why are there only 5 out of 29 countries that have met their commitment? The U.S. is paying for Europe’s protection, then loses billions on Trade. Must pay 2% of GDP IMMEDIATELY, not by 2025.”

Former Secretary of State John Kerry later blasted Trump’s comments about Germany as “strange” and “counterproductive.”

“It was disgraceful, destructive, and flies in the face of the actual interests of the United States of America,” Kerry said in a statement, claiming Trump “set America back this morning.”

I am sure that they did seem strange to Former Secretary of State Kerry.

Trump is actually conducting business as an AMERICAN PRESIDENT, putting OUR interests above those of every other country.

Trump’s Foreign Policy is 180 degrees opposite from Obama’s “Smart Power” which was anything but.

And, his approach is succeeding.

Under Obama, America was viewed as a patsy, a country to be taken advantage of.

Under the leadership of successful businessman and proven negotiator President Donald J. Trump, other nations are finding out quickly that there is a new sheriff in town. One who is not afraid to speak the truth and to tell it like it is.

America has been the world’s piggy bank for way too long.

For the nations comprising NATO to expect America to continue to send our taxpayers’ hard-earned money to them to pay for protection against a nation whom they are buying energy from, makes them appear to be gold-diggers who are expecting Uncle Sam to be their sugar daddy while they are catting around with another guy.

The cries of anguish from John Kerry and the rest of the losers in the Democratic Elite  mean that Trump is right over the target.

Not only is he erasing Obama’s legacy of horrible domestic policies, he is now working hard to erase the perception that Obama and his Administration left that we are the world’s doormat and piggy bank.

In other words, the 45th President of the United States of America is doing exactly what we elected him to do.

PUTTING AMERICA FIRST.

Lisa Page to Ignore Congressional Subpoena, Refuses to Testify

thCU1F9S9Z

FoxNews.com reports that

Former FBI attorney Lisa Page will not appear for a private interview with two House committees despite being subpoenaed, her attorney told Fox News Tuesday.

In a statement, Amy Jeffress said her client did not have enough time to prepare and had asked the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform Committees to schedule another date.

“The Committees have not honored this request,” Jeffress said. “As a result, Lisa is not going to appear for an interview at this time.”

The committees did not immediately respond.

Jeffress added that the FBI had not given her and Page the necessary materials to prepare for her hearing.

Page originally was scheduled to appear before both committees Wednesday as part of their investigation into alleged bias at the Justice Department. She and FBI agent Peter Strzok, who is set to testify publicly before the committees Thursday, exchanged disparaging text messages about then-candidate Donald Trump throughout the 2016 campaign.

Page and Strzok both worked on the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails and, later, special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. Both were removed from the Mueller probe last year after the Justice Department’s internal watchdog made the special counsel aware of the anti-Trump messages.

So, what are the consequences for ignoring a Congressional subpoena?

According to lawandcrime.com,

2 U.S. Code § 192 provides, in part:

“Every person who having been summoned as a witness by the authority of either House of Congress to give testimony or to produce papers upon any matter under inquiry before … any committee of either House of Congress, willfully makes default … shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000 nor less than $100 and imprisonment in a common jail for not less than one month nor more than twelve months.”

As you can see, failing to respond to a Congressional subpoena can lead to some serious consequences.

So, now let’s go into further detail about the process that may ultimately lead to the above referenced consequences.

After a witness ignores a subpoena and fails to appear, the committee rules generally require a majority vote of the full committee authorizing a resolution of noncompliance to be reported to the entire House of Representatives. After the matter is reported to the full House, a floor vote is taken to determine whether a resolution of contempt may be issued against the offending individual. It takes a majority vote in the House to approve a resolution of contempt.

Once the resolution of contempt passes the full House, Congress technically has two options to pick from in deciding how to proceed with the case.

First, the House may instruct its sergeant-at-arms to arrest the individual and bring them before the House presiding officer (usually the Speaker of the House). The individual could be held in the Capitol jail, but this practice has not been used for more than 80-years.

The second, and more practical option, is for the Speaker to refer the matter to U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia for criminal contempt proceedings. The law then requires the U.S. Attorney to empanel a grand jury to consider indictments for criminal contempt.

The problem that the House Committees are facing in their investigation of “SpyGate” is that fact that it is so intricate.

As I have written before, this Deep State Operation is like a gigantic spider web, with a single strand leading back to its weaver. And, in this case, I believe that “spider” to be none other than Former President Barack Hussein Obama.

The very fact that the fired FBI Lovers, Strzok and Page, were on Mueller’s Probe Team at all demonstrates that it is nothing more that a political scam, designed to circumvent the will of the American people.

From the start, Spygate has been a plan designed to knock Republican Candidate Donald J. Trump out of the Presidential Campaign and later, The White House, by any means necessary.

A lot of people belonging to the hierarchy of the DOJ and FBI have been a part of it.

The reason that Lisa Page is not testifying today is not just that her lawyer has told her not to, in order to avoid self-incrimination. I am quite certain that someone from that hierarchy that I just mentioned warned her not to.

Page and her lover, Peter Strzok, know “where the bodies are buried” and those who have participated and who continue to participate in this plot against the 45th President are afraid that one or both of the lovers will name names.

It is past time for Mueller to come forward with whatever he has on the President so that this mockery can come to an end, allowing Trump to continue to do what the American people elected him to do.

And, as far at Ms. Page goes, fine her and then lock her up.

And, while you’re at it, House of Representatives, lock the rest of her co-conspirators up , too.

Obama and Hillary would look great frog-marching in orange jumpsuits.

Dems’ Fears Realized as Trump Picks a Christian Constitutionalist to Fill SCOTUS Vacancy

us-supreme-court.0

As you probably know by now, last night President Donald J. Trump announced that Brett Kavanaugh will be his nominee to fulfill the seat on the Supreme Court vacated by Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Christian American Conservatives praised Kavanaugh’s nomination last night…and with good reason.

Per ChristianityToday.com

As a young lawyer, Kavanaugh clerked for Kennedy, the man he may now replace. In 2003, he was appointed to the DC circuit by George W. Bush, though he wasn’t officially confirmed until 2006 after a long stall by Democrats who expressed skepticism of his record and level of experience.

A staunch defender of religious liberty, Kavanaugh rejected challenges to prayers at the president’s inauguration and the phrase “so help me God” in the presidential oath.

“We cannot resolve this case by discounting the sense of anguish and outrage plaintiffs and some other Americans feel at listening to a government-sponsored religious prayer,” he stated in the 2010 case. “We likewise cannot dismiss the desire of others in America to publicly ask for God’s blessing on certain government activities and to publicly seek God’s guidance for certain government officials.”

In the 2015 case, Priests for Life v. HHS, Kavanaugh opposed a decision against a challenge to the Health and Human Services contraceptive mandate, dissenting from the DC circuit’s decision not to review the case.

According to Kavanaugh’s dissent, the HHS regulations “substantially burden the religious organizations’ exercise of religion because the regulations require the organizations to take an action contrary to their sincere religious beliefs (submitting the form) or else pay significant monetary penalties.”

Kavanaugh also dissented on a recent, contentious case in which a pregnant teenager in immigration custody sought an abortion, arguing that as she was a minor, the US government had a responsibility to attempt to transfer her out of government detention and into the care of a sponsor before she made her final decision on whether to seek an abortion. His opinion was overruled by his fellow judges, but some pro-life advocates critiqued Kavanaugh for not going far enough in condemning the girl’s right to an abortion in the first place.

Early in his career, Kavanaugh worked on the recount that led to George W. Bush’s election to the presidency. Before that, he made a case for President Clinton’s impeachment following his affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, a fact that may pose a stumbling block for some Republicans in light of Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation into foreign interference in the nation’s presidential election and Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

The next appointee will further cement the judiciary’s conservative shift, as early last year, President Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. He was confirmed last April.

Ever since Justice Kennedy announced that he was stepping down, the Far Left Democratic Party has been protesting Trump’s pick for Kennedy’s successor.

Of course, the Dems and the Never-Trumpers, all Nattering Nabobs of Negativity, had no clue as to whom the President was going to pick. All they knew was that they were against him/her.

One of the fears of those who oppose whatever Trump does was that he was going to pick someone who was a Christian and who was unashamed of their faith.

And, of course, Trump did.

Christians still make up 75% of America’s population, so odds were that Trump’s nominee would believe in the Triune God.

And, that’s a good thing.

The legendary Judicial Giant who Trump’s first appointee, Neil Gorsuch, replaced, Antonin Scalia, was.

Here is what he said about the role of Christianity in our government, which remains in sharp contrast to the Rewritten History and wish-casting of the “Democratic Socialists” whose heads are exploding even as we speak.

In his dissenting opinion in the 2005 case McCreary County v. ACLU, Justice Antonin Scalia explained:

Those who wrote the Constitution believed that morality was essential to the well-being of society and that encouragement of religion was the best way to foster morality. The fact that the Founding Fathers believed devotedly that there was a God and that the unalienable rights of man were rooted in Him is clearly evidenced in their writings, from the Mayflower Compact to the Constitution itself…

President Washington opened his Presidency with a prayer, and reminded his fellow citizens at the conclusion of it that “reason and experience both forbid us to expect that National morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.” President John Adams wrote to the Massachusetts Militia, “we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion… Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

After going on to quote similar sentiments from Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, Scalia continued:

Nor have the views of our people on this matter significantly changed. Presidents continue to conclude the Presidential oath with the words “so help me God.” Our legislatures, state and national, continue to open their sessions with prayer led by official chaplains. The sessions of this Court continue to open with the prayer “God save the United States and this Honorable Court.” Invocation of the Almighty by our public figures, at all levels of government, remains commonplace. Our coinage bears the motto, “In God We Trust.” And our Pledge of Allegiance contains the acknowledgment that we are a Nation “under God.” As one of our Supreme Court opinions rightly observed, “We are a religious people whose institutions presuppose a Supreme Being.”

With all of this reality (and much more) staring it in the face, how can the Court possibly assert that “the First Amendment mandates governmental neutrality between… religion and nonreligion,” and that “[m]anifesting a purpose to favor… adherence to religion generally,” is unconstitutional? Who says so? Surely not the words of the Constitution. Surely not the history and traditions that reflect our society’s constant understanding of those words.

While the ever-increasing turn toward Marxism and the constant protesting and threatened violence by the New Bolsheviks of the Democratic Party, is very troubling, I find solace in the fact that they are still a minority in this country.

In my opinion, President Trump picked ANOTHER winner.

Until He Comes,
