Group of “Conservatives” to Seek Third-Party Candidate to Challenge Trump. Salvation or Sabotage?

H. Ross Perot is an very successful, outspoken American Businessman, who has played the part of “spoiler” in two unsuccessful campaigns for the Presidency of the United States of America.

Biography.com offers the following summary:

Always politically outspoken, Perot decided to step off the sidelines and get into the action in the spring of 1992. He was disappointed in President George Bush and didn’t like any of the potential Democratic candidates. Positioning himself as a political outsider, Perot wrote about his ideas for rebuilding a troubled America in United We Stand: How We Can Take Back Our Country. He also broadcasted his political views in infomercials, using his substantial wealth to buy air time across the country. Perot had a down-home style and a habit for speaking in snappy sound-bites, which appealed to many members of the voting public. As journalist Paul Burka wrote in Texas Monthly, “Perot is the candidate of the disaffected, the disenchanted, the fed up: the people whose contempt for politics has passed beyond cynicism to despair.”

His campaign seemed to gather momentum as the political race heated up. Perot promoted himself as a reformer, building on his success with the Texas Public Education system in the 1980s. But, in July, he dropped out of the race, later claiming that the Republican Party had plans to embarrass his daughter Carolyn before her wedding. According to The New York Times, Perot believed that the Bush campaign was going to start a rumor about his daughter’s sexuality.

Perot returned to the race in October with only weeks left before the election. Despite this setback, he managed to garner nearly 19 percent of the popular vote. Perot was the first independent candidate since Teddy Roosevelt in 1912 to receive this large of a share of the popular vote. Still the lion’s share of voters chose Democrat Bill Clinton. Perot faced off against Clinton again in 1996, but his campaign failed to win over much public support.

The following report may be found under the category of “Those Who Ignore History…”.

Businessinsider.com reports that

Now that Donald Trump is the last man standing in the Republican presidential race, his critics in the party are intensifying their search for a candidate they could back as a serious third-party alternative.

Political operatives are courting donors, calling potential candidates and developing legal contingency plans for overcoming onerous ballot-qualification laws.

“This is as much as anything a battle for the future of American party politics,” said Republican strategist Joel Searby, who is working with conservative writer Bill Kristol, among others, to identify a third-party candidate for the November 8 presidential election.

The group Conservatives Against Trump, which includes blogger Erick Erickson, has been holding calls and meetings to discuss third-party candidates as well as other options to stop the New York billionaire from winning the White House.

The hurdles for a third-party candidacy are high. No independent candidate has ever won a presidential election, though some have played spoilers. But the efforts by the Republican groups underscore the unusual divisiveness of Trump’s candidacy within Republican ranks ahead of a likely general-election fight with Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

Trump’s opposition to free trade is at odds with the views of many Republicans, especially in the party’s business wing. Many of Trump’s critics also find his rhetoric offensive, including his call to temporarily bar Muslims from entering the country and his comment describing some Mexican immigrants to the US as rapists and drug dealers.

Some Republicans say they worry that any third-party candidate would only siphon votes away from Trump and help Clinton win the election.

Ralph Nader’s run as the Green Party candidate in the 2000 presidential election has been blamed by some Democrats for the razor-thin loss of Democratic nominee Al Gore to George W. Bush. Ross Perot’s independent candidacy in 1992 was seen by some Republicans as contributing to President George H.W. Bush’s loss to Democrat Bill Clinton.

One outcome, though rare, may be that no candidate crosses the necessary threshold of 270 votes in the US Electoral College. In that case, the vote for the next president would pass to the US House of Representatives, currently controlled by Republicans.

Deborah DeMoss Fonseca, who recruited donors for former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush and is working with Conservatives Against Trump, said her group was trying to find a candidate who would be high-profile enough to compete with Trump and Clinton.

As a Christian American Conservative,
I can understand some Conservatives’ reluctance to support Donald J.Trump.

That being said, at this late stage, the unrealistic expectation of finding a viable Third-Party Candidate, by which, somehow, to steal the Republican Presidential Nomination from Trump or the victory in the General Election from Trump, simply because the Primary Elections, due to the will of the American people, has not gone the way that you envisioned it, amounts to nothing more than a willful act of sabotage, which could enable the loathsome Hillary Clinton to become President.

The failure of Senator Ted Cruz’s campaign to become the Republican nominee, is attributable to no one except his Campaign Advisors and the Senator, himself.

Instead of attempting to form a coalition, as Trump has been able to do, the Cruz Campaign, along with the unsolicited help of Radio Talk Show Host and Real-Life Elmer Gantry , Glenn Beck, positioned themselves, whether accidentally or on purpose, to resemble an old fashioned Tent Revival, at times, reminiscent of the old Neil Diamond song, “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show”.

While I am also extremely concerned about the social issues which face this country and the slippery slope that we seem to be traveling on, at this time, that is not what is foremost on the minds of the American Voting public.

Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, while more and more of us, through no fault of our own, are being expunged from the American Workforce, with that number now being well over 94, 400, 000.

Meanwhile, up on Capitol Hill, those whom we have voted into office to represent us, are more intent on reaching across the aisle, fulfilling the interests of a small minority of Americans, who would radically change this nation into something unrecognizable, turning The Shining City Upon the Hill into the World’s Piggy Bank and Doormat.

Hillary Clinton must not be given the chance to continue the failed policies of Barack Hussein Obama, facilitating an accelerated Ascent of America into an abyss that we may never be able to climb out of.

Certain members of the Republican establishment have already announced that they will not support Trump, even if he is the Republican Nominee.

It would be the height of irony and a disservice to American Conservatives who have gone before, if this current attempt by this group of “Conservatives”, to launch a third-party candidate, undos all the hard work of those who have tried to prevent this country’s destruction by an out-of-control Federal Government which panders to Special Interest Groups, instead of the American voters, while inadvertently aligning themselves with these Establishment Republicans.

Now is not the time for temper tantrums, now is the time for maturity.

It is time to begin the process of taking America back.

E-mailgate: Huma Interviewed by FBI. Is Hillary Next?

image

In my time on this planet, I never thought that I would see the day, when a Professional Politician running for the highest office in this land, would be facing the possibility of a Federal Indictment from the Department of Justice, on the charge that she used a private e-mail server to circumvent the Rules of Protocol, regarding the transmitting of Top-Secret Information.

The Associated Press reports that

The FBI has interviewed Huma Abedin, a close aide to Hillary Clinton, as part of a federal investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state, a person familiar with the probe said Thursday.

The person insisted on anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

The FBI and Justice Department have been investigating whether sensitive information that flowed through Clinton’s email server was mishandled.

Abedin was one of Clinton’s closest aides during her tenure as the nation’s top diplomat, serving as deputy chief of staff. It was not immediately clear whether other aides have been interviewed, or when or if Clinton herself might be questioned.

“From the start, Hillary Clinton has offered to answer any questions that would help the Justice Department complete its review, and we hope and expect that anyone else who is asked would do the same,” Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said in a statement. “We are confident the review will conclude that nothing inappropriate took place.”

It is not known how much longer the investigation will take. FBI Director James Comey has said there is no timetable for finishing the probe and it’s being done thoroughly.

A Justice Department spokeswoman declined to comment Thursday, and a spokesman for the FBI did not return messages seeking comment.

On Wednesday, a federal judge in Washington said he may order Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner, to testify under oath about whether she used a private email server to evade public records disclosures.

The order from U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan granted a request from the conservative legal advocacy group Judicial Watch to question six current and former State Department staffers, including Abedin, about the creation and purpose of the email system. Those interviews would be part of a civil case from Judicial Watch about whether the State Department conducted an adequate search of public records in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.

Clinton has acknowledged during the campaign that her home-based email setup was a mistake, but insists she never sent or received any documents that were marked classified at the time.

She has dismissed the idea that she could face legal trouble over the use of the server, responding to a debate question in March about the prospect of a federal indictment by saying, “It’s not going to happen.”

Mrs. Clinton, as shown by her complete disdain for the American People and the laws which govern us, is unfit to hold public office.

The old axiom is true. We ARE judged by the company that we keep.

The fact that the Former Secretary of State continues to hold close to her, as her confidante, a young woman with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, shows how dangerous and untrustworthy that she truly is.

For those of you who are not aware of Ms. Abedin’s troubling past and familial connections, here are some bullet points, courtesy of discoverthenetworks.org…

Huma Abedin was born in 1976 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

[She is the] Daughter of Saleha Mahmood Abedin, a pro-Sharia sociologist with ties to numerous Islamist organizations including the Muslim Brotherhood.

Longtime assistant to Hillary Clinton
Longtime former employee of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs, which shares the Muslim Brotherhood’s goal of establishing Islamic supremacy and Sharia Law worldwide.

…From 1997 until sometime before early 1999, Abedin, while still interning at the White House, was an executive board member of George Washington University’s (GWU) Muslim Students Association (MSA), heading the organization’s “Social Committee.”

It is noteworthy that in 2001-02, soon after Abedin left that executive board, the chaplain and “spritual guide” of GWU’s MSA was Anwar al-Awlaki, the al Qaeda operative who ministered to some of the men who were among the 9/11 hijackers. Another chaplain at GWU’s MSA (from at least October 1999 through April 2002) was Mohamed Omeish, who headed the International Islamic Relief Organization, which has been tied to the funding of al Qaeda.

From 1996-2008, Abedin was employed by the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA) as the assistant editor of its in-house publication, the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs (JMMA). At least the first seven of those years overlapped with the al Qaeda-affiliated Abdullah Omar Naseef’s active presence at IMMA. Abedin’s last six years at the Institute (2002-2008) were spent as a JMMA editorial board member; for one of those years, 2003, Naseef and Abedin served together on that board.

Abedin went on maternity leave after giving birth to a baby boy in early December 2011. When she returned to work in June 2012, the State Department granted her an arrangement that allowed her to do outside consulting work as a “special government employee,” even as she remained a top advisor in the Department. Abedin did not disclose on her financial report either the arrangement or the$135,000 she earned from it, in violation of a law mandating that public officials disclose significant sources of income. Abedin’s outside clients included the U.S. State Department, Hillary Clinton, the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation, and Teneo (a firm co-founded by Doug Band, a former counselor for Bill Clinton). Good-government groups warned of the potential conflict-of-interest inherent in an arangement where a government employee maintains private clients.
On February 1, 2013—Hillary Clinton’s final day as Secretary of State—Abedin resigned her post as Mrs. Clinton’s deputy chief of staff. Yet she would continue to serve as a close aide to Clinton.

On March 1, 2013, Abedin was tapped to run Clinton’s post-State Department transition team, comprised of a six-person “transition office” located in Washington.

Huma Abedin’s brother, Hassan Abedin, has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and is currently an associate editor with the JMMA. Hassan was once a fellow at the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies, at a time when the Center’s board included such Brotherhood-affiliated figures as Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Abdullah Omar Naseef.

Huma’s sister, Heba Abedin (formerly known as “Heba A. Khaled”), is an assistant editor with JMMA, where she served alongside Huma prior to the latter’s departure.

Speaking straight from the heart, as an American Citizen, I find it beyond the pale that, during the time of Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State, someone with direct ties to our sworn enemies, the Muslim Brotherhood, had access to the highest level of Top Secret Information contained in our State Department, being sent to her over Secretary Clinton’s own unsecured e-mail Server.

And, the thing is, she not only had access through her job as Assistant to Secretary of State Clinton, she also had access to government information through pillow talk with her husband, then-Congressman and “Professional Sexter” Anthony Weiner.

Being the “proud Muslim” that she has proclaimed herself to be, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that this information found its way to her “troubling Familial Affiliations”?

Which brings up a troubling question:

Considering her familial ties, how deeply was Ms. Abedin involved in “BenghaziGate”?

Whin I first considered the reality of Hillary Clinton running for President, a great many thoughts entered my head…some of them even repeatable.

In fact, there are a lot of images that race through my mind, right now, on the morning of “Super Tuesday”, as I sit here at my computer.

I remember the image of a lone terrorist, brandishing a machine gun, standing in front of the burning Benghazi Consulate.

I also remember the image of Benghazi Barbarians dragging a murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens through the streets, taking pictures every few yards, with their cell phones.

My mind envisions the image of two brave Americans, up on a roof holding off 100 Muslim Terrorists, trying desperately to hold out for help which was denied to them, until finally the overwhelming numbers which comprise the horde of barbarians, murdered them as well.

I can imagine Ambassador Stevens’ elderly mother, making the trip from the West Coast to the East Coast to pick up the lifeless body of her abused and murdered son, whom she and her entire family were so proud of.

Finally, I remember the show of hypocrisy involving members of this anti-American Administration, including then-Secretary of State Clinton, solemnly welcoming the bodies of those brave Americans home.

Former Secretary Clinton…the truth makes a big difference…even after all this time, to the families of those that were so savagely murdered that fateful night…and to the millions of Americans who still believe in this “Shining City on a Hill”.

Americans deserve the truth.

And, you should be ashamed to be running for the office of President of the United States.

…But, you’re not.

It is now inevitable, that you will be chosen as the Democrat party’s Candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America.

It is also inevitable that American Businessman and Entrepreneur, Donald J. Trump, will be the Republican Party’s Presidential Candidate.

Former Secretary Clinton, as you prepare to attack American Businessman and Entrepreneur, Donald J. Trump, you need to remember that

People who live in Glass Houses should not throw stones.

Especially, when your Glass House resembles the Ice Palace in the Disney Animated Movie, “Frozen”.

You may want to consider following the advice of the popular song in that movie and “Let It Go”.

But, of course, you won’t.

Rules are for “the little people”.

Rush Predicts Landslide Victory for Trump…He’s Right.

image

Yesterday, the final opponent of Donald J. Trump, in his quest to secure the Republican Nomination as their candidate for the President of the United States, Ohio Governor John Kasich, dropped out of the race.

After this news hit the media, the Hillary Clinton campaign immediately released a brand new ad attacking their presumptive opponent in the Presidential Election.

The Trump Campaign Ad answering that insulting ad, should be something to behold,

But, I digress…

The Godfather of Conservative Talk Radio,  Rush Limbaugh, made National Headlines yesterday,  when he said,

My instinctive feeling right now is that Trump is gonna win, beat Hillary badly, that it could be landslide proportions.

…They (the #NeverTrump voters and the Democrats) think that Hillary can go ahead and lose these states, lose every state. She’s losing more than she wins.  If you follow the news, it’s clear Bernie Sanders is winning (it seems like) every primary the past month.  And accompanying every Bernie Sanders victory story is the fact that he won nothing, that Hillary gets the delegates.  So there’s just as many — or proportionally just as many — agitated Democrats.  You add up people supporting Bernie Sanders to people supporting Donald Trump, and the people that supported Ted Cruz.

You add up those voters — and if they all vote, too, Hillary Clinton doesn’t have a prayer.  I don’t care about the Electoral College. I don’t care about anything else. Just like in terms of the people that are fed up with Washington and the establishment, as we sit here today, she is the lone candidate representing what obviously so many Americans, Republicans and Democrats for their own reasons right now happen to despise.  She’s losing the vote in every state, and yet the Democrats expect her to triumph.  Where is her momentum?

How in the world does Hillary go from losing after losing after losing to becoming a triumphant victor at the Democrat convention when she didn’t win diddly-squat except superdelegates in the Democrat Party?  And I guarantee you, the AP and the media and the Democrat Party, they’re not factoring all of this in because they’re sitting there saying, “We’re the Democrats! We’re invincible. We own the media. We don’t lose.”  They don’t have… They haven’t figured out yet that the media wants Donald Trump to be elected president.

They haven’t figured out the media wants Trump in the White House because it’s gonna be the most fun four years they’ve ever had.  It’ll be fun. They’ll try to take Trump out. They’ll be able to party with Trump! They’ll go to the White House. They’ll be able to do everything they do as media; they’ll be able to trying to destroy him. He’ll expect it. He’ll toy with ’em. They’ll get to cover him, go wherever he goes. It’s gonna be unexpected, unpredictable, ratings boosts and all kinds of stuff. Make no mistake: In the Drive-Bys, this is universal.  There’s nothing exciting about Hillary Clinton.

She’s been there, done that, in a lot of ways.

Rush’s statements are quite evident, judging by the victories that the old Socialist from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, has been able to gain in the Democratic Primary Elections, including the Recent one in Indiana.

By the way, why is this self-proclaimed SOCIALIST still in the Race?

Sanders is riding the crest of a wave of popularity among the generation whom we call “Millennials”…those, whom my late Daddy, who landed on the beaches of Normandy, France on D-Day, all those decades ago, in the biggest Fight Against Fascism that the world has ever known, and the rest of “The Greatest Generation”, would have called “useful idiots”, “dupes”, or “slackers” for their inability to recognize the con job and failed theory that is Marxism, when they see it.

Sanders seems to basically appeal to the collegiate and “slacker” vote, the MTV Generation, still living in Mom’s Basement, who cling to the vision of “money for nothing and their chicks for free”.

What his collective hive-mind of group-thinking followers do not seem to grasp is the reality that Marxism has NEVER worked, anywhere that it has been tried.

Man’s own greed and corruption, as in the case of the old Russian Politboro, always gets in the way of their dream for a Socialist Utopia.

That is the reason that Marxism remains a THEORY…and a failed one, at that.

Unfortunately, for these young minds full of mush, the Democrats had already chosen their presidential candidate come along before the primaries started.

Hillary Clinton was chosen as the potential successor to Barack Hussein Obama long before Bernie Sanders even decided to enter the race.

Because of the Backroom Political Machinations of the Democrat Party, Bernie never stood a chance.

That news isn’t all bad for ol’ Bernie, though.

Perhaps, they will make a remake of “Back to the Future”.

He’s a dead ringer for Doc Emmett Brown.

Regarding Rush Limbaugh’s comments about the Main Stream Media wanting Donald J. Trump to win the Presidential Election, as he himself said in so many words, be careful what you wish for.

One of the secrets to Donald Trump’s Political Success, is, in fact, his masterful manipulation of the scavaging vultures that comprise the Main Stream Media.

Trump has played the media like Charlie Daniels play the fiddle, with outstanding expertise and unerring accuracy.

Regarding his upcoming battle in the General Election with the “Queen of Mean” herself, Hillary Clinton…

Unfortunately for both the Democrats and the “Eeyores” and “Prophets of Doom” in the “#NeverTrump” Crowd, as Rush alluded to, the American people have her figured out, as her long and bloody Political History is there for everyone to see.

Lying comes as naturally to The Former First Lady as breathing in and out.

As I have written, from the time she was fired from the Watergate Investigative Committee to wiping her private e-mail server, Hillary Rodham Clinton has been as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.

Machiavellian in political ambition and armed with a vocabulary that would make the legendary Gong Show Judge, Jaye P. Morgan, blush (look her up, kids), “the Hildebeast” has cut a wide swatch in her path to Political Power.

It should be obvious to Americans by now, that she believes that morality and ethics are for “the little people” (i.e., you and me).

We already have a congenital liar in the White House.

We certainly do not need another one.

Oh…and Ambassador Christopher Stevens remains unavailable for comment.

So, my Prediction for the upcoming Presidential Campaign, leading up to the election of Donald J. Trump, as the 45th President of the United States of America?

Grab your popcorn, boys and girls, this is gonna be fun.

Last Night Rocked America. What Now?

image

Unless you have been living under a rock, by now you have probably heard that, unless there is some sort of national catastrophe, or political chicanery pulled at the Republican National Convention, American Businessman and Entrepreneur Donald J. Trump will be the Republican Nominee for the Presidency of the United States of America.

Foxnews.com reports that

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz cleared the path Tuesday night for Donald Trump to claim the Republican presidential nomination, suspending his underdog campaign following a crushing defeat in Indiana – allowing the billionaire businessman to effectively leave the raucous primary behind and turn his attention squarely to the general election.

“We’re gonna win in November,” Trump declared at Trump Tower in New York City.

Representing one last primary hurdle, John Kasich’s campaign said the Ohio governor would remain in the race until a candidate reaches the necessary 1,237 delegates. But with Cruz ending his bid, Trump would appear on a glide path to hitting that, having vanquished almost everyone in what was once a 17-person field – and now within easy reach of the party mantle, an outcome some pundits and power-brokers once refused to even contemplate.

Cruz announced his decision to dismayed supporters in Indianapolis.

“I said I would continue on as long as there was a viable path to victory. Tonight, I’m sorry to say it appears that path has been foreclosed,” Cruz said.

While a Trump-Hillary Clinton match-up now appears inevitable, Sen. Bernie Sanders kept the race alive on the Democratic side Tuesday night by pulling off a projected upset victory in Indiana.

“I understand that Secretary Clinton thinks that this campaign is over,” Sanders said, adding that he has “bad news” for her.

Sanders said he expects “more victories in the weeks to come,” as the race heads next to West Virginia and Nebraska, though he admitted he has an “uphill climb” to the nomination.

But on the GOP side, while Kasich remains in the race and Trump still could face drama at the party convention in Cleveland, GOP Chairman Reince Priebus declared him the presumptive nominee Tuesday night, as did Clinton.

Trump addressed supporters at Trump Tower Tuesday night after his seventh consecutive victory, in Indiana.

He called Cruz “one hell of a competitor,” calling his decision to drop out of the race “brave.”

He also said that while he wasn’t sure if Cruz likes him, he praised his former rival as a “smart” and “tough guy” who had an “amazing future” ahead of him.

Trump then turned his attention to his likely Democratic opponent, saying, “We’re going after Hillary Clinton.”

The New York billionaire criticized Clinton’s recent comments about the coal industry. He says she wants to close mines and he promised to help coal miners get back to work.

Cruz campaigned aggressively in Indiana, but could not overcome Trump.

“With a heavy heart, but with boundless optimism for the long-term future of our nation, we are suspending our campaign. … But hear me now, I am not suspending our fight for liberty,” Cruz said.

Fox News projected Trump as the winner shortly after the polls closed at 7 p.m. ET.

As the news spread last night, reactions varied from delight to disgust, from excitement to exasperation, and from assurance to abject fear.

Of course, Social Media exploded with both celebrations and protestations, as supporters of both Trump and Cruz vented on Facebook and Twitter.

Some Republican voters, doing their best “Eeyore” impression, stood firmly in agreement with their Democrat brethren, insisting that Trump did not have a chance in November against Hillary Clinton.

Other Republican Voters, who supported Ted Cruz, threatened to stay home, vote for an Independent Candidate, or, to vote for the Presumptive Democrat Nominee, Hillary Clinton.

Excuse me?

Being upset is one thing. Intentionally destroying America, because your Political Candidate of choice couldn’t win the Presidential Primary is beyond the pale.

While it is certainly true that Trump is an unproven commodity, in terms of being the Leader of the Free World, Hillary Clinton’s Political Record is there for everyone to see, including her disastrous turn as Secretary of State, under the Obama Administration.

For any American, who claims to love this country and what it stands for, to threaten to vote for this individual, who left Americans to die on the night of September the 1st, 2011 at the US Consulate compound in Benghazi, Libya, is simply imbecilic and downright traitorous.

As Trump will no doubt point out, as he turns his attention to Hillary Clinton, the responsibility for the decline of America in the eyes of the world, rests on her shoulders, as much as it does anybody else’s in the present Administration.

The immense amount of baggage, including E-mail Gate and the Foreign Donations to the Clinton Foundation, that Hillary Clinton carries into the upcoming final part of the Political Campaign for the Presidency of the United States of America, no doubt will all be illuminated in horrific detail by Trump, as the Republican Candidate.

This is a seminal moment in American history.

This is our chance to begin to reclaim the inheritance of our Founding Fathers, to right the course of a Ship of State intentionally being steered in the wrong direction, and to restore the luster of the “Shining City Upon a Hill”.

It is time for those citizens who love America, to unite behind the Presumptive Republican Candidate for the presidency of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

It is time to “Make America Great Again”.

“It’s the Economy, Stupid”: West Virginia Coal Miner Confronts Hil for Giving Them the Shaft

image

The disconnect between Professional Politicians and the average American has never been more evident then it is currently, as is being illuminated by the primary presidential elections.

Foxnews.com reports that

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was confronted Monday at a campaign stop in West Virginia by a laid-off coal worker over previous comments she made that “we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

Clinton was attending a panel discussion with residents and Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin in Williamson, W. Va. when she was asked a question by Bo Copley, who told her he was a laid off worker in the coal industry.

“I just want to know how you can say you’re going to put a lot of coal miners out of, out of jobs, and then come in here and tell us how you’re going to be our friend, because those people out there don’t see you as a friend,” Copley said, sometimes breaking into tears, as the chants of the protesters were heard outside.

Clinton however said her comments in March were a “misstatement,” and that she has been talking about helping out coal country “for a very long time.”

“What I was saying is that the way things are going now, we will continue to lose jobs,” Clinton said Monday. “That’s what I meant to say, and I think that that seems to be supported by the facts. I didn’t mean that we were going to do it, what I said was, that is going to happen unless we take action to try to and help and prevent it.”

Clinton released a $30 billion plan last fall aimed at aiding communities dependent on coal production and she’s promised that her husband would focus on revitalizing the region.

Manchin came to Clinton’s defense on Monday.

“If I thought that was in her heart, if I thought she wanted to eliminate one job in West Virginia I wouldn’t be sitting here,” he said. “I think Hillary knows that. She wouldn’t be here if she felt that way. There is no way you could come into this type of a setting and the way that people are hurting so bad unless you want to help them.”

Copley however told Manchin he didn’t believe that his endorsement of Clinton was a good move.

Gee, DiNozzo. Ya think?

The intellectual hubris required for Hillary Clinton to campaign in an area that her and the rest of the Democrat Party has laid barren, through the over-regulation and basically, shutting down of an industry, which provides the overwhelming majority of jobs in that region, is unfathomable.

A FOX News poll from two weeks ago shows Republican Donald Trump leading Ted Cruz by 18 points, while Democrat Hillary Clinton now only has a two-point lead over Bernie Sanders.

Voters polled believe Donald Trump has the best chance of beating Hillary Clinton this fall, but they don’t think he’s the right person to negotiate with Russian President Vladamir Putin, Clinton fits that bill instead.

65% of Republicans think Trump has the knowledge to effectively serve as President, while only 12% of Democrats do.

So why do you suppose, that Trump was picked by the Americans participating in this poll, to have the best chance of beating Clinton?

As I have related before, the answer is simple.

It’s the economy, stupid.

In that same poll, those responding said that the economy is the single most important issue in the upcoming presidential election. Donald J Trump is a self-made billionaire. He knows how to create jobs. He understands Capitalism, the engine that runs America and her economy, don’t want a trumpet some self made billionaire. He knows how to create jobs.

Hilary, just like her former boss, Barack Hussein Obama, believes in “sharing the wealth”. She is just as big a socialist as Bernie Sanders.

Americans understand that fact.

When the only jobs that an economy is adding every month are government jobs, that country is moving in the wrong direction.

Too many Americans have been out of work for too long a period of time.

As we journey through this Quixotic Quest, known as our everyday lives, we come across windmills, which we must tilt with daily, known as “priorities”.

Priorities are unique, perplexing things, as they vary from individual to individual.

For those Americans between employment, it is finding a meaningful, well-paying job, so that we may provide for our families. For other Americans, it could be the care of their elderly loved ones. For others, their priority may be to climb the Corporate Ladder at their place of employment.

For the parents of 30-year-old Liberals and “puff puff” “l”ibertarians, it may be that their priority is to get their slacker of a “kid” to move out of the basement.

But, I digress…

The anger of average Americans, which I have spoken of in past posts, is a direct result of the failed Foreign and DOMESTIC Policies, of the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama, which have affected Americans’ daily lives, including our Household Incomes. These policies have been exacerbated by the Republican Elite, who, in their desire to “reach across the aisle” and “go along to get along”, have distanced themselves from the Middle Class Average Americans, like you and me, who elected them to Congress in the first place.

Those whom we have sent to serve us up on Capitol Hill, seem to be more intent on expanding government and feathering their own nests, then they are about creating a robust economy, and keeping the Engine of Capitalism, which has been responsible for our country’s growth, free from restrictive and burdensome taxes and Government Regulations, designed to keep American Businesses “under the thumb” of “Big Government”.

Meanwhile, these same average Americans, (i.e., you and me), remain mired up to our necks in an abysmal swamp of bills and taxes, living paycheck-to-paycheck, afraid to make a move, for fear of drowning in an ocean of debt.

Americans are tired of the empty promises that they have heard since 2009, made by professional politicians on both sides of the political aisle.

Seemingly forgotten, in all of these forgotten promises, made by Barack Hussein Obama, and Establishment Democrats and Republicans, alike, are the 94 million Americans, who are no longer, largely through no fault of their own, participating in our Workforce.

…like the Coal Miners of West Virginia, whose ability to provide for their families has been sacrificed to the gods of Environmental Activism and Political Correctness, by the “Smartest People in the Room”, the Far Left Radicals, who infest the Modern Democrat Party, including the Presumptive Democrat Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton.

That is why Donald J. Trump is still continuing to enjoy a commanding lead in the Republican Primary Elections

The majority of Americans have had their fill of Professional Politicians, who promise the Moon, but deliver dust.

It is time to replace those Professional Politicians, like Hillary Clinton, who value Government Regulations and Bureaucracy more than the American citizens, whom they have taken an oath to serve.

What is Causing the “Cruz Collapse”?

image It appears that the Campaign of Senator Ted Cruz, who is seeking the Republican Nomination as their Presidential Candidate, is in the rapid state of descent which parachuters refer to as “free-fall”

Nationalreview.com reports that

Down in the polls and with zero margin for error heading into Tuesday’s crucial Indiana primary, Ted Cruz could be forgiven for seeing a silver lining in his apparent strength with unbound Republican delegates. Until Donald Trump’s romp through the Northeast last Tuesday abruptly changed the subject, the political world was captivated — and Trump supporters were infuriated — by the Cruz campaign’s successful effort to elect large blocs of friendly delegates at a series of state-party conventions.

“But friendly delegates are as subject to shifts in the race’s momentum as anyone else, and Cruz’s strength with some of these crucial first-ballot convention voters may be overstated — particularly in North Dakota, where his campaign declared victory after filling 18 of 25 unbound delegate slots with its chosen candidates at the April 3 convention. Those delegates are vital to Cruz’s quest to deny his rival the 1,237 delegates he’ll need on the first ballot in Cleveland. But as they’ve watched Cruz struggle to tread water in a primary increasingly dominated by Trump, many of them, wary of a bitter convention battle that could rend the party at its seams, are rethinking their commitment to the Texas senator.

I think [last Tuesday’s vote] spooked a lot of people,” says Jim Poolman, a North Dakota delegate who had previously committed to a first-ballot convention vote for Cruz. “But I want to be clear, I think the will of the people does mean something, as well,” he says. “Donald Trump has gotten a lot of support across the country, and just [last Tuesday], winning five [states] is one heckuva showing.” Poolman now says he will opt to see how the remaining primaries play out, and is “not necessarily” a first-ballot vote for Cruz. He’s not alone. Of the ten North Dakota delegates on the Cruz slate reached by National Review, five express serious reservations about backing the Texas senator on that crucial first ballot. “I have to admit I’ve been vacillating,” says David Hogue, a state senator and Cruz-approved delegate who insists he’s “firmly uncommitted.”

Hogue’s senate colleague Dick Dever is also getting cold feet. “What I have said is I’m leaning towards Cruz, but I’m not committed to anybody,” he says. “And after [Tuesday’s vote], I think Trump has the momentum going forward.” Dever was impressed by the way Trump broke fifty percent in all five of last Tuesday’s primaries, after relying on pluralities to propel him to victory in previous contests. And he finds it just as telling that Cruz lost to John Kasich in all but one of those contests. “I think that was a real shift,” he says.

With Trump on a winning streak that’s seen his popularity and electoral success continue to grow past the long-assumed “ceiling” of 35 to 40 percent of the Republican electorate, many North Dakota delegates who privately support Cruz are rethinking the wisdom of challenging the real-estate mogul’s commanding lead on the convention floor. Rick Becker, a former North Dakota gubernatorial candidate who is still loyal to Cruz, says one delegate who he believes would like to support Cruz is nevertheless warning peers about the damage they could do to the party’s November prospects by angering the millions of voters who support Trump.

In a related story

A Wall Street Journal/NBC News/Marist poll finds Mr. Trump ahead by 15 points among likely Republican primary voters in Indiana, pointing to a victory that would significantly boost the businessman’s chances of clinching the Republican presidential nomination before the party’s convention in Cleveland.

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, his chief rival, continued to voice confidence that he could keep Mr. Trump from getting the 1,237 delegates needed to claim the nomination either before the convention or on the first ballot. But Mr. Cruz needs Indiana’s primary to be a pivot point.

What has caused the spectacular collapse of the campaign of Senator Ted Cruz?

I recently wrote that

In the case of Senator Ted Cruz, his image of not being just another politician, was tarnished by the actions of those working for him, in regards to the political shenanigans that were being played against Donald J. Trump.

Also, instead of trying to reach out to other parts of the voting base, as Trump is done, Cruz instead reached out to fellow politicians, seeking their support.

However, upon reflection, I believe there is even more to the story of the collapse of the Cruz Campaign.

As I have documented before, the success of Donald J. Trump and his Campaign, is one of a visceral and palpable anger, that is presently held by Americans for Professional Politicians.

I believe that this anger has not only been caused by the blatant self-serving interests of those we have elected to serve us in Washington, DC, but also by
the realization by average Americans that our country is under attack by enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Average Americans, like you and me, love our country.

We are tired of being told by the present Administration and their Liberal Minions in the Main Stream Media, that America is “just another country”, when we have been raised to believe, by those who exemplified it, in American Exceptionalism.

Our ancestors, relatives, and friends have died in the defense of our nation and our Traditional American Values.

And, our love and respect for those who have gone before us, simply will not allow us to stand idly by, and watch the continued degradation and purposeful destruction of a nation that was built through their sacrifices.

Modern American Liberals call this attitude “Nationalism” and/or “Jingoism”.

Those of us here in America’s Heartland, simply call it “being an American.”

The bold and brash nature of Trump and his “Political Correctness be d*mned” way of speaking, continues to strike a resonant chord in the hearts of average Americans, who, quite simply, are fed up with being told that we’re wrong for believing in these Traditional American Values.

What the Liberals do not seem to understand, is the more that they send paid protesters out to stop Trump from speaking, the more average Americans will support him, because, despite all of their best efforts to turn America into a Democratic Socialist Nation , we remain the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

If this was any other time in the history of presidential elections, Senator Ted Cruz would probably be faring better.

Unfortunately for Senator Cruz, at this point, with the American people solidly behind him, as evidenced by the Overflow crowds that the Main Stream amedia has been very careful not to document, Trump appears to be unstoppable.

Sir Isaac Newton once stated that

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

Professional Politicians, by ignoring the wishes of average Americans, and acting in their own self-interests, have brought this whole phenomenon upon themselves.

In other words, the “Trump Train” is an “equal and opposite reaction”.

To paraphrase the classic cartoon character, Popeye the Sailor Man…

We’ve had all we can stands. We can’t stands no more.

“New Bolsheviks” Riot in Costa Mesa to Keep Trump From Speaking

image

The year is 1903.

The Russian Social Democratic Party is meeting in London. All the intellectuals in their party have been arguing since the end of the 1800′s as to the direction the party should take. One year earlier, in 1902, a man named Lenin, living in exile, wrote a paper entitled, “What Is To Be Done”.

Lenin’s paper was smuggled into Russia. It detailed his views regarding what the Social Democrats should be doing as a party. In the paper, Lenin attacked party members who “were content to wait while history took its predetermined course.” Lenin was tired of waiting for governmental change to occur. He decided to get things done rather than wait on intellectuals sitting around refuting each other’s ideas.

The before-mentioned meeting resulted in a Party split creating the Mentsheviks and the Bolsheviks. The two factions would reunite under Lenin in April 1905.

Lenin, of course, went on to organize the November 1917 Russian Revolution on the Promise of “peace. bread, and land”.

On the night of Nov. 6 (Oct. 24, O.S.), the Bolsheviks staged an coup, engineered by Trotsky. Partnering with the workers’ Red Guard and the sailors of Kronstadt, they captured the government buildings and the Winter Palace in Petrograd. A second all-Russian congress of soviets met and approved the coup after the Mensheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries walked out of the meeting. A cabinet, known as the Council of People’s Commissars, was set up with Lenin as chairman, Trotsky as foreign commissar, Rykov as interior commissar, and Stalin as commissar of nationalities. The second congress immediately called for cessation of hostilities, gave private and church lands to village soviets, and abolished private property.

The year is 2016.

Leading Republican Presidential Primary Candidate, Donald J. Trump attempted to hold a Campaign Rally in Costa Mesa, California.

A faction of America’s “New Bolsheviks” decided that Trump’s Rally must not be allowed to happen.

The Daily Mail summarizes the riot as follows…

Police clashed with protesters outside Donald Trump’s rally in Costa Mesa, California Thursday night.

One group of protesters was filmed trying to flip over a police car outside the Pacific Amphitheater where he spoke.

Hundreds of demonstrators flooded the streets, hurling rocks at motorists and forcefully declaring their opposition.

One Trump supporter was seen bloodied after being punched in the face, while about 20 people were arrested.

The Republican frontrunner was campaigning on Thursday ahead of the state’s June 7 presidential primary.

He is vying for votes in the primary election to narrow the gap to the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination.

Trump leads Kasich and Cruz in the California polls, with an estimated 45.7 per cent of voters, according to Real Clear Politics

Police clashed with hundreds of protesters outside Donald Trump’s rally in Southern California on Thursday night.

At least one police car was smashed up as hundreds of demonstrators – many of them waving Mexican flags – took to the streets outside the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa, Orange County where Trump was speaking.

The protesters flooded the street outside the amphitheater with some stomping on cars, hurling rocks at motorists and forcefully declaring their opposition to Trump – bringing traffic to a halt and creating a tense standoff with authorities.

One Trump supporter was pictured with a bloody face after clashing with the anti-Trump activists, many of whom appeared to be young Hispanic people.

The violence in Southern California where Latinos make up a large segment of the population suggests Trump may face more of this in the days to come, as he campaigns ahead of the state’s June 7 primary. Trump currently leads Kasich and Cruz in the California polls, with an estimated 45.7 per cent of voters, according to Real Clear Politics.

“Suggest”?

According to the Los Angeles Times…

…the largest crowds are expected to gather downtown Sunday to demand equality for immigrants and protest Trump’s controversial statements about people from Mexico and Muslims.

It is fitting that these additional potential riots will be happening on May 1st, known as May Day, or International Workers Day, a holday, which was actually created to honor Communism.

Like “Black Lives Matter” before them, yesterday’s riot in support of Mexicans, who are in our country illegally, was designed to suppress Donald J. Trump’s right Free Speech and to Campaign for the Presidency of the United States of America, through intimidation.

What is behind all of this “civil unrest”?

When you have an orderly structure already in place, such as our System of Checks and Balances, which was set up to provide a mechanism which protects our sovereign nation from usurpation of our Constitution, and provided for us in the founding of this country by our forefathers, it is not easily circumvented.

That salient fact hit me right between the eyes, after I wrote a blog about Obama’ s meeting with the protest leaders who were chomping at the bit to riot in Ferguson Missouri over the shooting of the young thug, Michael Brown.

When Obama was running for president, he promised to “radically change” the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave into a vision which he had for America.

His refusal to uphold the Immigration Laws was and is a purposeful action, which directly lead to yesterday’s riot.

Just as was the case in the Russian Revolution, any “Democratic Socialist” nation we see around our Modern World, went through a course-altering revolution, whether through a violent overthrow of the Government or through a “radical change” in the political ideology of their nation and the way that their populace voted in the subsequent election.

I firmly believe that the mission of Barack Hussein Obama, from the moment he became President of United States to this very day, has been exactly what he said it was during his first presidential campaign: to “radically change” our nation into something that every patriotic American will no longer recognize.

Through his attempts to grant citizenship and voting rights to illegal aliens, the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama is bearing witness to the creation of a new version of Lenin’s Bolsheviks.

And, it has become very apparent, that these “New Bolsheviks”, are attempting to “radically change” “the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”, to the “Land of Santa Anna”…BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

…Including the suppression of Freedom of Speech.

The Sanders and Cruz Campaigns: Of Viability and Desperation

image

As the Primary Election Season gets closer to its end, signs of desperation are becoming apparent and newsworthy on both sides of the Political Aisle.

Cnn.com reports that

Bernie Sanders’ campaign is laying off more than 200 workers, campaign manager Jeff Weaver said Wednesday.

The campaign is downsizing from its current 550-member team to between 325 to 350 workers, said Weaver, who added that at one point the Sanders’ staff numbered more than 1,000.

The decision follows a bad night for Sanders, in which he lost four out of five East Coast states that voted on Tuesday.

“The calendar is coming closer to the end and there are not that many states going forward … it’s the natural evolution of every campaign,” Weaver told CNN.
Sanders announced the layoffs in an interview with The New York Times.
“It will be hundreds of staff members,” Sanders told the Times. “We have had a very large staff, which was designed to deal with 50 states in this country; 40 of the states are now behind us. So we have had a great staff, great people.”

When someone is let go from the World Wrestling Entertainment Corporation, what Bernie just did to his staffers is known as being “future endeavored”.

As in,

We wish them well in their future endeavors.

Evidently, America is not”Feeling the Bern.”

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Political Aisle…

CBS’ New York Local Affiliate reports that

Despite being mathematically eliminated from clinching the Republican nomination, Sen. Ted Cruz has picked a running mate.

Cruz tapped former technology executive Carly Fiorina to run as his vice presidential nominee.

The Texas senator unveiled his decision Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis, calling Fiorina an “extraordinary leader.”

“It is unusual to make the announcement as early as we’re doing so now,” Cruz said.

He continued, “Why now? No one is getting to 1,237 delegates. We must unite.”

Already Wednesday, Fiorina seemed comfortable playing the traditional vice presidential campaign role of attacker, CBS2’s Tony Aiello reported.

“Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton both will be disastrous for this nation,” she said.

Cruz praised Fiorina’s path from secretary to chief executive officer and her past willingness to challenge GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

“Carly isn’t intimidated by bullies, because she’s faced challenges a lot worse than someone bellowing and yelling and insulting her face,” he said.

The remark was a reference to a Trump magazine interview where the frontrunner said of Fiorina, “Look at that face – would anyone vote for that?”

In lauding Fiorina, Cruz added, “Over and over again, Carly has shattered glass ceilings.”

Fiorina actually started singing on stage after accepting Cruz’s offer.

Funny, I thought it was the fat lady who was supposed to sing.

Ted Cruz’s actions in naming a vice presidential running mate, when he has not even gained the Republican nomination as their presidential candidate, is not only unprecedented , but is also a classic case of putting the cart before the horse

It is a move of desperation.

Make no mistake, Senator Cruz’s move is designed to not only generate buzz, is also designed to try to generate some momentum in a failing and flailing political campaign. The problem with this maneuver is the fact that, just as Johnny Mathis sang all those years ago, it is

Too much, Too little, Too late.

Both Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz, at this point in their campaigns, did not have a chance of becoming the Presidential Candidate of either of their political parties.

In Sanders case, he had several things going up against him. While most of his fellow Democrats do not have the guts to overtly call themselves Socialists, even though they are, Sanders went ahead and did it. By doing so, he limited his voter base to millennials, a generation of Americans who have not seem to grasp the concept that Socialism, in Marxist theory, is the step before Communism.

In fact, the only part of Bernie Sanders’ Political Platform that they appeared to have grasped, is his promise to provide Free College Tuition and to bestow upon them other free stuff from the largesse of a Nanny State Central Government, bought for with the money of Americans who actually work for a living.

Sanders’ Campaign was doomed from the start, as the powers-that-be had already chosen Hillary Clinton as the Democratic Presidential Candidate and had placed a political system within the Primaries to ensure that it happened.

So now, as the chance to secure their respective political parties presidential nominations is an impossibility, these two Professional Politicians have chosen to try to remain, at least in their minds, viable candidates.

Unfortunately, for both of them, it appears that their campaigns are over, even if they don’t realize it.

The Political Primary Parade has passed both of them by. All that is left, is for the street sweeper is to clean up the mess.

Trump to Outline Foreign Policy Platform Today

image

Today, after sweeping five states last night in the Republican Primary Elections, while mathematically eliminating chief rival Ted Cruz in the process, Presumptive Republican Presidential Nominee Donald J. Trump will outline his Foreign Policy Platform, in a televised speech.

Reuters.com reports that

Donald Trump will set aside his bad-boy antics on Wednesday and, with the help of a teleprompter to keep him on message, outline what his foreign policies would be if he is elected U.S. president in November, campaign aides say.

Governments alarmed at the prospect of a Trump presidency will be paying close attention. Critics have accused the Republican front-runner of bigotry and posing a danger to U.S. national security.

Many foreign policy and defense advisers say his views are worrying, mingling isolationism and protectionism, with calls to force U.S. allies to pay more for their defense and proposals to impose punitive tariffs on some imported goods.

“Part of what I’m saying is we love our country and we love our allies, but our allies can no longer be taking advantage of this country,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday night in a speech preview.

He said he would focus on nuclear weapons as the single biggest threat in the world today. “I’m probably the last on the trigger,” Trump told ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, citing his opposition to the Iraq war.

Trump, 69, said he agreed with President Barack Obama’s decision to send an additional 250 U.S. Special Forces into Syria but would not have made the decision public. “I would send them in quietly because right now they have a target on their back,” he told CNN.

He also said his speech would focus on the economics of foreign policy “because we’re getting killed on economics.”

The billionaire businessman promises to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States and to build a wall to block off Mexico.

His policies are popular with many voters who want change, but foreign policy elites are concerned.

“It’s a perfect storm of isolationism, muscular nationalism, with a dash of pragmatism and realism,” said Aaron David Miller, a foreign policy scholar who has worked in Republican and Democratic administrations.

The speech at noon (1600 GMT) in a Washington hotel will address issues including global trade, economic and national security policies as well as building up the U.S. military, his campaign said.

Boys and girls…all of this “voiced concern” is a good thing.

A strong American President is essential to retaining the sovereignty of our country.

As a 22-year old College Senior, I was privileged to cast my first-ever vote in a National Election. That vote took place in November of 1980, and it was for the greatest American President in my lifetime, Ronald Wilson Reagan.

The popularity of President Reagan was not just limited to the boundaries of our nation. He was admired the world over. The things that he accomplished, along with his friends, Prime Minister of Britain Margaret Thatcher, Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, and Pope John Paul II, have caused the decade of the 1980s to be recorded as a seminal moment in world history.

I remember watching President Reagan speak at the Berlin Wall. When he said, “Mr Gorbachev tear down this wall!”, I was never prouder to be an American and of an American president, than at that moment.

Liberals, around the world, lost their collective minds.

For you see, Liberal Leaders, just as they do now, hate it when Marxism gives way to Freedom.

Nothing bothers them more than when a strong American President is at the forefront of a conquering moment, when a strong foreign policy is based on the reality that negotiating from a position of strength is always more effective than negotiating from a position of weakness.

Fast forward to the present, where an ineffective President Barack Hussein Obama is looking like a fool to a world who used to look to America as a bastion of strength and freedom, not weakness and political expediencies.

President Barack Hussein Obama has placed us in untenable position with his weak and vacillating Smart Power Foreign Policy.

Those who used to cringe in their desert tents, while calling us the Great Satan, now laugh in our faces as they walk across our southern borders with the rest of the illegal immigrants.

That is, if Obama simply does not invite them to the White House and meet with them, as he has the Muslim Brotherhood.

America must have a president who will man up and negotiate from a position of strength with both our friends and our enemies.

Unfortunately for our present safety as nation, Obama’s Fantasyland view of the world, which is not unlike the old Coca Cola Advertisement where everyone had a Coke and a smile, set him up to be a disastrous failure at Foreign Policy.

A failure, which finds our enemies in Iran still working on a nuclear bomb and Russian Leader Vladimir Putin beginning the process of annexing surrounding countries and rebuilding the old Soviet Union, which was dissolved, thanks to the efforts of a real leader and American President, Ronald Reagan.

The popular defense, currently being thrown against the wall to see if it sticks by Liberals on behalf of their fallen messiah’s failed Foreign Policy, is to attack those who are critical of it, by claiming that we are all of bunch of “Christianist Raaaciiist Hate Mongers”.

Obama’s Foreign Policy Failure explains the resistance of foreign leaders to the possible Presidency of Donald J. Trump.

Ronald Reagan, when he was “out on the stump” for Republican Presidential Candidate Barry Goldwater, in October of 1964, delivered a powerful speech titled, “A Time for Choosing”. At one point in that now-classic speech, he spoke about America’s role in the world, stating that

We cannot buy our security, our freedom from the threat of the bomb by committing an immorality so great as saying to a billion human beings now enslaved behind the Iron Curtain, “Give up your dreams of freedom because to save our own skins, we’re willing to make a deal with your slave masters.” Alexander Hamilton said, “A nation which can prefer disgrace to danger is prepared for a master, and deserves one.” Now let’s set the record straight. There’s no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there’s only one guaranteed way you can have peace — and you can have it in the next second — surrender.

…You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin — just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard ’round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Nazis didn’t die in vain. Where, then, is the road to peace? Well it’s a simple answer after all.

You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, “There is a price we will not pay.” “There is a point beyond which they must not advance.” And this — this is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater’s “peace through strength.” Winston Churchill said, “The destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we’re spirits — not animals.” And he said, “There’s something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty.”

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.

We’ll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we’ll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.

Once again, we have “a rendezvous with destiny.”

Foreign Leaders, who like the advantage that they have gained, under the weak and vacillating Foreign Policy of Barack Hussein Obama, do not want the United States to regain our position as the Leader of the Free World.

That is why they fear a Trump Presidency.

It is far more lucrative for them, when the United States “negotiates from a position of weakness”.

They certainly do not want to negotiate with an American President who has mastered “The Art of the Deal”.

The Moment of No Return: If Trump Reaches 1,237 Delegates Tonight, What Then?

GOP-for-H-600-LII believe that the Republican Party is stuck in a cycle in which their desire to protect their own hindquarters and cushy “jobs” have lead to a self-imposed isolation from the very American Citizens who were responsible for their having those cushy “jobs” in the first place.

I believe that average Americans, like you and me, have the power to relieve them of the burden of such a stressful job, and send others to Washington, who will listen to their “bosses”. – kingsjester, 2/27/16

The New York Times reports that

The temporary alliance between Senator Ted Cruz and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, formed to deny Donald J. Trump the Republican presidential nomination, was already fraying almost to the point of irrelevance on Monday, only hours after it was announced to great fanfare.

With the pact, the two candidates agreed to cede forthcoming primary contests to each other. Mr. Kasich would, most crucially, stand down in Indiana’s primary on May 3 to give Mr. Cruz a better chance to defeat Mr. Trump there, while Mr. Cruz would leave Oregon and New Mexico to Mr. Kasich. It appeared to be a measure of last resort, but initially it seemed like a breakthrough.

Mr. Cruz trumpeted what he called the “big news” in Indiana, a state that appears pivotal to stopping Mr. Trump from winning a majority of delegates. “John Kasich has decided to pull out of Indiana to give us a head-to-head contest with Donald Trump,” he said.

But at his own campaign stop in Philadelphia on Monday, Mr. Kasich tamped down Mr. Cruz’s triumphalism. Voters in Indiana, Mr. Kasich said, “ought to vote for me,” even if he would not be campaigning publicly there. He added, “I don’t see this as any big deal.”

Under the best of circumstances, the arrangement between Mr. Cruz and Mr. Kasich would seem to be a long shot — more of an expedient to stop Mr. Trump from taking a big step toward winning the nomination next week in Indiana than a permanent joining of forces.

Far from forming any kind of unity ticket, Mr. Trump’s surviving challengers have both vowed to triumph in an open convention in Cleveland, and they remain irreconcilable on key matters of policy. Their agreement dealt only with three states, leaving an open question as to how directly they might compete with each other everywhere else.

Mr. Cruz’s campaign privately advised supporters on Sunday not to endorse tactical voting, whereby his supporters might switch their allegiance to Mr. Kasich in states where the Ohio governor is running stronger against Mr. Trump. “We never tell voters who to vote for,” read the suggested Cruz talking point. “We’re simply letting folks know where we will be focusing our time and resources.”

Mr. Trump, who has taunted his opponents throughout the race for their Keystone Kops approach to undermining his campaign, seemed to relish the continuing strain between his remaining rivals. On Twitter, he mocked “Lyin’ Ted Cruz” and “1 for 38 Kasich,” referring to the latter’s dismal winning record in the Republican race, for being unable to beat him on their own.

“So they have to team up (collusion) in a two on one,” Mr. Trump wrote. “Shows weakness!”

At a campaign rally in Rhode Island, Mr. Trump boasted that his opponents were united against him, and said he welcomed their “collusion.”

“Actually I was happy,” he said, “because it shows how weak they are.”

Allies of both Mr. Cruz and Mr. Kasich did not exactly disagree with that assessment, and acknowledged that the prospect of imminent disaster in Indiana had been the impetus to reach their deal, such as it is.

Still, aides to Mr. Cruz and Mr. Kasich seem acutely aware that they risk turning off voters who find the arrangement unseemly. Even before his rivals’ agreement, Mr. Trump had complained repeatedly that the nominating process was “rigged” against him.

With Mr. Trump expected to win all five of the East Coast states that vote on Tuesday, the next opportunity to slow his campaign will come a week later in Indiana. Republicans believe he must be stopped there if they are to deny him the nomination.

“Unseemly”

What an interesting word.

The word “unseemly” is associated with the world of “Professional Politics” like peanut butter is associated with jelly, or Michael Moore with All-You-Can-Eat Buffets.

How does an action become perceived as unseemly?

Usually, an action becomes perceived as “unseemly”, when it goes against the moral and/or ethical standards of those who are witnessing it.

Other words for the polite word, “unseemly”, are “shady”, crooked”, “slick”, and “conniving”.

However, in this case, perhaps the word “desperate” would serve the description of the situation better.

Kasich has only won one state, of all of the previous primary elections held. Politically, he is now a non-entity. He is only serving himself by remaining in the race, feeding his own ego.

Cruz, was, by all reckoning, mathematically eliminated from a first ballot nomination after the New York Primary.

Little did I know that, as his campaign for the Republican Nomination progressed, this “New Maverick”, Ted Cruz, would align himself with those whom he had fought so hard against in the Senate “on behalf of the people”.

I realize that Donald J. Trump has his shortcomings, as well.

However, as a political candidate, when you promise to fight against the “Washingtonian Status Quo” and then you join forces with its purveyors, in order to get elected, you may gain some potential voters, but you also disillusion a lot of your base.

Just like Captain Jean Luc Picard in “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, it appears that “Man of the People” Ted Cruz has been “assimilated”, with the Vichy Republicans playing the role of “The Borg”.

If Trump gains the magic number of 1,237 Delegates in today’s Primaries,  the Professional Politicians, are going to face a situation that they have denied the possibility of, since Donald J. Trump announced that he was running for President of the United States of America.

The Republican Establishment is about to be hoisted on its own petard.

Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t the Republicans supposed to be the opposition party?

Just like the slavish Main Stream Media believe that President Barack Hussein Obama walks upon the water, the Establishment or “Vichy” Republicans, must idolize or at least respect the Democratic Party, because for the past 7 years, they were Hell-bent on copying them in their actions, words, and deeds.

Just look at their track record over Obama’s tenure in the Oval Office.

As we say in Dixie, they ain’t done squat.

Inconceivably, like a bunch of Democrats, when Primary Season arrived, they expected us to forget their lack of intestinal fortitude, while in office, and elect those who were just like them to the Presidency in November 2016.

Oh, we  remembered them all right. But, not in the way they wanted us to. We did not remember them as leaders. Oh, no. Rather, Americans, here in the Heartland, remembered them with all of the fondness that the French Resistance remembered the Nazi collaborators, or Vichy French, after World War II.

What slays me is the fact that the Establishment Republicans still seem to be quite content, in their moderately left-leaning stupor, to be totally oblivious and tone deaf of their Base, average hard working middle-class Americans like you and me.

You know, the people who actually put them into office.

They keep on making bad choices.

They have pushed for maintaining the Washingtonian Status Quo because they erroneously believe that new citizens, provided through amnesty, will vote for them instead of the Democratic Party, who are ready to be their own personal Santa Claus and buy their votes with free admission to the Welfare State.

Spineless Vichy Republicans have been a barrier to Republican victory for as long as I can remember. Like Quakers, Establishment Republicans seem to believe that passive resistance and reaching out to their sworn enemies as “friends”, is the way to defeat those who oppose you.

It has been especially bad during Obama’s reign, as the House and Senate Republican Leadership apparently cherished their friendship with the Democrats more than they did the wishes of the folks back home. Yes, they talked a good game, but so did Jon Lovitz in those “Liar Sketches” during the old days of Saturday Night Live, back when they were actually funny.

Yeah,  my wife Morgan Fairchild. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket!

And, now, with the reality of this evening’s results upon them, like Godzilla rising from Tokyo Harbor, the Republican Establishment are looking ridiculous in their scrambling desperation, as a Benny Hill Chase Scene (cue Boots Randolph’s “Yakety Sax”).

Note to the GOP Elite:

You guys are now facing the same situation that faced Victor von Frankenstein, in the classic movie: You have created this “monster”.

…a pi$$ed-off base who are voting for an outsider, a non-professional politician talking directly to the people.

And, you have lost control.

Your only hope is to catch this lighting in a bottle and to ride this lightning bolt all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

However, if past actions are any barometer, I doubt that you are smart enough to grasp this reality.

Until He Comes,
